  Jesus is speaking to Saul, and he claims the

  are actually against his person. The church is

  the body of Christ, and we are collectively more

  him than we know. This would also mean that with

  so -called believers, when they walk away from

  the church, that they are in some very real sense

  abandoning him. lie to the church and you are

  deceiving him or trying to. He is still God,

  the Son, and he knows all truth, is the truth,

  and he more than takes injustice toward believers

  seriously. He sees those injustices as directed

  at him personally. I pray for those who have

  persecuted the church, even those who live yet

  today, persecuting the church in some way or
• 0:51
  speaking bad about the church or refusing to
• 0:53
  be part of the church. I pray that God will bless
• 0:55
  those people and draw them unto himself. Forgive

  them, Lord, for they know not what they do.
