- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things and it's to be good. String together, Please,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join jo. You gotta turn out. You're going
- 1:10Speaker 1: to arm. You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn
- 1:43Speaker 1: You haven't got to turn them out with the turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: of water. The water got me. Come come on your thing,
- 2:01Speaker 1: Uh huh, I shall will. Good morning everybody, y'all listening
- 2:06Speaker 1: to the voice, Come on dig me now. One and
- 2:09Speaker 1: only Steve Arvey got a radio show. Man, Old man.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Old Man symbolizes just one thing to me. Man, It's
- 2:16Speaker 1: just a constant remind of exactly how good God has
- 2:19Speaker 1: been to me over the years. And I thank him
- 2:22Speaker 1: for it too, because I realize every day that I
- 2:24Speaker 1: wake up that I would be nothing without him. That
- 2:28Speaker 1: everything I am that's any good in me, I owe
- 2:31Speaker 1: to him. Now. Have I made some mistakes along the way, yep, bunches,
- 2:37Speaker 1: bunches and bunches. And will I continue to make mistakes
- 2:41Speaker 1: along the way yep? Not as many, hopefully as I
- 2:46Speaker 1: have in the past, because a lot of stuff I
- 2:49Speaker 1: know better now. But you're still going to make mistakes. Now.
- 2:54Speaker 1: You know, hopefully I've limited the amount of intentional in
- 3:00Speaker 1: my life. I've wiped quite a few of those out.
- 3:04Speaker 1: But from time to time, because we're human, we're going
- 3:07Speaker 1: to make a mistake every now and then. The trick
- 3:10Speaker 1: what it is, y'all, it's not to let the devil
- 3:12Speaker 1: deceive you into thinking that once you make that mistake
- 3:15Speaker 1: that that's it. You can't do it. You're falling off
- 3:18Speaker 1: the wagon. You can't reboard it. That's the biggest trick
- 3:23Speaker 1: that he uses. He makes you think that if you
- 3:26Speaker 1: keep stumbling, that you can't run the race. It kind
- 3:33Speaker 1: of reminds me of a marathon runner. From time to
- 3:37Speaker 1: time I watch him on TV, and you'll see some
- 3:40Speaker 1: people who finish the race, you know, in a in
- 3:45Speaker 1: a nice pace. You see people finish the race sprinting
- 3:50Speaker 1: towards the finished line. But every now and then you'll
- 3:53Speaker 1: watch a marathon and you'll see a runner and the
- 3:57Speaker 1: runner is in really, really bad shape. The key is
- 4:05Speaker 1: they finish the race. See, you don't get disqualified in
- 4:10Speaker 1: the marathon because you stumble. You don't. They don't. They
- 4:14Speaker 1: don't take your opportunity to finish the race because you
- 4:19Speaker 1: keep falling. That's not the key. The key is finishing.
- 4:25Speaker 1: And a lot of times what the devil does is
- 4:27Speaker 1: he makes you think that because you keep stumbling, because
- 4:31Speaker 1: you're swaying from side to side, that you know you
- 4:35Speaker 1: out the race. Well, that's not the case. And see
- 4:39Speaker 1: and then this thing called life, let me help you
- 4:41Speaker 1: understand something. Everybody falls, Nobody sprints to the tape in
- 4:45Speaker 1: this one. Nobody just runs free and clear as some
- 4:49Speaker 1: people running faster than you and all like this. And
- 4:52Speaker 1: some people are gonna get to the end before you
- 4:55Speaker 1: let them go ahead. And when the end come, the
- 4:57Speaker 1: end come. I ain't in the rush to get to
- 4:58Speaker 1: the end. But in this race, though, when you're stumbling
- 5:02Speaker 1: and you're falling, it's a part of it. No one
- 5:06Speaker 1: gets through this race without stumbling and falling, swaying from
- 5:09Speaker 1: side to side. So don't let the enemy deceive you
- 5:14Speaker 1: into thinking that it's over. I try to be encouraging
- 5:19Speaker 1: to people because I don't want people to get stuck
- 5:22Speaker 1: on this thing, you know. And my walk is very
- 5:25Speaker 1: different from a lot of people's walks. And then I
- 5:27Speaker 1: know a lot of people who walking in faith the
- 5:29Speaker 1: way I'm walking in faith. But my thing in the
- 5:32Speaker 1: morning is just to remind those that is not a
- 5:35Speaker 1: perfect walk man, that it's not something that's set up
- 5:39Speaker 1: where you're gonna be skipping through life scott free without
- 5:44Speaker 1: any pitfalls. You know, I keep saying it over and
- 5:47Speaker 1: over and over again because, like I said, when I
- 5:49Speaker 1: was in DC, my boy Hondo said this to me,
- 5:53Speaker 1: and it just kind of stuck with me that the
- 5:55Speaker 1: road to construct, the road to successes always under construction.
- 5:59Speaker 1: You have to figure and count on the setbacks and
- 6:03Speaker 1: the pitfalls. But it's those people that that that that
- 6:08Speaker 1: fight through will be the victors in the end. You
- 6:11Speaker 1: cannot give up, man, Stop going somewhen sitting down. Every
- 6:16Speaker 1: time something goes down. It's going to go down. It's
- 6:20Speaker 1: a part of it. It's going to happen. It's going
- 6:24Speaker 1: to occur that are going to be setbacks. If you
- 6:27Speaker 1: go and sit down every time there's a setback, that's
- 6:32Speaker 1: not how this works. It is designed that way. If
- 6:35Speaker 1: success were easy, everybody would be successful. But success is
- 6:42Speaker 1: just reserved for those who are willing to fight through,
- 6:45Speaker 1: who refuse to settle for mediocrity, who wants something more. Now,
- 6:51Speaker 1: don't get me wrong. Success is defined by each individual.
- 6:56Speaker 1: So what I may consider to be successful, you may
- 6:58Speaker 1: not consider that. You know what Bill Gates considers successful.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I might not consider what Michael Jordan considers successful. I
- 7:07Speaker 1: might not consider what you consider successful. Your boss might
- 7:11Speaker 1: not consider. You have to define what that is for yourself.
- 7:15Speaker 1: It may not be monetary at all. You know, your
- 7:19Speaker 1: level of success could be tied up in community service.
- 7:22Speaker 1: It could be tied up in family. It could be
- 7:25Speaker 1: tied up into church. Your level of success could be
- 7:28Speaker 1: tied up into boys clubs. It could be any number
- 7:32Speaker 1: of things. Whatever your level of success is, you have
- 7:36Speaker 1: to determine what that is you and the best way
- 7:39Speaker 1: to determine that is to get in touch with your maker,
- 7:43Speaker 1: who created you, to find out what your mission and
- 7:47Speaker 1: your purpose is so he can put you on track.
- 7:51Speaker 1: I just had this conversation with my son and we
- 7:53Speaker 1: were talking about getting on the path that God has
- 7:58Speaker 1: set up for you. So many times we find ourselves
- 8:01Speaker 1: fighting through life because of so much uncertainty, because we
- 8:05Speaker 1: have no idea where we're headed. It's like one of
- 8:11Speaker 1: my own sayings that I have at my mentoring camp
- 8:15Speaker 1: for boys is is that a boy without a male
- 8:19Speaker 1: role model is like an explorer without a map. See
- 8:25Speaker 1: if you don't have a map laid out in front
- 8:29Speaker 1: of you of where you're going when you wake up
- 8:33Speaker 1: every day, that pretty much explains the feeling of confusion,
- 8:39Speaker 1: the laxadaisical attitude, the lack of purpose, to not understanding
- 8:45Speaker 1: your mission because you don't have not gotten in touch
- 8:50Speaker 1: with your creator to find out exactly what your path
- 8:54Speaker 1: in life is. What are you supposed to be doing?
- 8:58Speaker 1: The moment you can identify that is the moment that
- 9:01Speaker 1: you get started waking up with purpose, with the sense
- 9:05Speaker 1: of direction. When you kill the sense of I don't
- 9:09Speaker 1: know what's next or what to do. Now, there's going
- 9:11Speaker 1: to be some confusing moments no matter what happened, it's
- 9:14Speaker 1: going to be some uncertainty, but at least you'll know
- 9:17Speaker 1: where you're going. So if you're tied a waking up
- 9:19Speaker 1: feeling loss, abandon confused, don't know what to do, don't
- 9:25Speaker 1: know what you're supposed to be doing, refer back to
- 9:29Speaker 1: your makeup. Because when he created you, he had a
- 9:33Speaker 1: plan for you. When he created you, he had a
- 9:37Speaker 1: path for you. Now we've made some decisions to get
- 9:40Speaker 1: off of both of those, the mission and the path
- 9:43Speaker 1: but God can get you right back on track. Do
- 9:47Speaker 1: that today, asking what you're supposed to be doing, and listen,
- 9:53Speaker 1: God has all the answers if you form the relationship. Okaying,
- 10:00Speaker 1: shout who two two three? Somebody say it was moaning
- 10:13Speaker 1: time to me. Somebody told me it was all up
- 10:22Speaker 1: by me. I love that man. You ever see, y'all,
- 10:26Speaker 1: ain't never been to a lounge where the singer is
- 10:30Speaker 1: a relative of the lounge owner and he really has
- 10:34Speaker 1: no business with the singing contract. But right at the
- 10:39Speaker 1: start a happy hour at five, he can go on
- 10:42Speaker 1: from five to five fifteen when they hauling nobody there.
- 10:46Speaker 1: I'd invented them lounges, and that's where they at, man,
- 10:51Speaker 1: and they just be up in their writing songs that
- 10:53Speaker 1: they wrote on their own that don't make no damn say.
- 10:56Speaker 1: You can look at me while I look at you,
- 11:00Speaker 1: You looking at me? What? And one is too hey?
- 11:06Speaker 1: And then he just kicked back like you don't rope
- 11:08Speaker 1: the line of lines. That's how we're gonna do it
- 11:11Speaker 1: this morning, y'all. We're gonna do it like ain't nobody
- 11:14Speaker 1: able to do it, and then like we ain't got
- 11:17Speaker 1: no business doing it. This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Now once again, why do we start the show different
- 11:25Speaker 1: every day? Because this is a new day. This day
- 11:28Speaker 1: will be unlike any other day you've ever lived. Nothing
- 11:32Speaker 1: about the day will be exactly the same as it
- 11:35Speaker 1: was the other day. I don't care who you are
- 11:37Speaker 1: and what you say. So why would we start the
- 11:40Speaker 1: show the same way when we got a brand new day.
- 11:43Speaker 1: That's why we start the show like this. Get used
- 11:46Speaker 1: to it. It ain't fitting to change. Good morning, Sherley,
- 11:50Speaker 1: Steve morning, Good Hey, Colin Pharrell, Good morning. What's happening
- 11:55Speaker 1: to Steve? What I wanted you morning? I'm morn everybody, family,
- 12:00Speaker 1: But nephew, comming ain't top top top top. Missip Monica,
- 12:05Speaker 1: she waves. Y'all know we don't let her talk yet,
- 12:09Speaker 1: but she will be. So promote, promote. You're in a
- 12:15Speaker 1: great mood this Monday, you know what. I'm so happy bad,
- 12:19Speaker 1: I'm so overjoy to be looking out this window. You know,
- 12:26Speaker 1: I had to um, had to u come to the dentist.
- 12:31Speaker 1: I had to travel to my dentist, and my dentist
- 12:36Speaker 1: got COVID. Yeah he's yeah, so you know I won't
- 12:43Speaker 1: be you know, laying back with my mouth open, then
- 12:46Speaker 1: him bring em. You're happy, right because you hate the dentist?
- 12:51Speaker 1: Over joy me. Well I'm not happy, no, no, no no,
- 12:56Speaker 1: but I'm having the appointment is counsel. Yeah, over Yeah,
- 13:02Speaker 1: it's a great dentist. Yeah, flew out here for nothing,
- 13:06Speaker 1: ain't no problem. Got some golf cups? You ain't mad
- 13:14Speaker 1: about that? Go get it? Do you play? Junior? I
- 13:17Speaker 1: never hear not talking about. Oh no, I showed up
- 13:19Speaker 1: and ride to cart Oh that's what I do. Okay, Yeah,
- 13:23Speaker 1: I look like I was gonna be out there, but
- 13:25Speaker 1: I didn't pass herebody, I'll be the first one back
- 13:27Speaker 1: at the clubs. What is the appeal? Because a lot
- 13:33Speaker 1: of people still don't get golf, you can't talk about it. Uh,
- 13:37Speaker 1: we're running out of time, all right, guys coming up
- 13:40Speaker 1: at thirty two minutes after the hour, asked the CLO.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steven Show. Time
- 13:48Speaker 1: now for ask the CLO. Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey
- 13:52Speaker 1: in the building. This one is from Lakida and Denver.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Lakida writes, I'm using my boss's car temporarily while mine
- 14:00Speaker 1: is getting worked on. He helps me out by putting
- 14:03Speaker 1: gas in the car, getting it washed occasionally. The other
- 14:06Speaker 1: day he took the car and got it washed and
- 14:08Speaker 1: filled it up. I noticed that my weed was gone,
- 14:12Speaker 1: so I asked him if the car man threw it out.
- 14:14Speaker 1: He said he found the weed and smoked it. He
- 14:17Speaker 1: said it's his car and anything in the car is
- 14:19Speaker 1: his property. I am so hot? Should I make him
- 14:24Speaker 1: replace my weed? Are you kidding me? What? Are you
- 14:28Speaker 1: kidding me? Legal? Okay? Now let me okay, okay, let
- 14:34Speaker 1: me show them because did I get it confused? What's this?
- 14:36Speaker 1: Her car? Her bosses now her boss's car. She's using
- 14:39Speaker 1: it to she's using her boss's car. Hers is getting
- 14:42Speaker 1: work done? Okay? Cool? Has she left out the part
- 14:47Speaker 1: that her boss is trying or sleeping with her? Oh? No,
- 14:51Speaker 1: she that's not in there. Oh well it should be.
- 14:57Speaker 1: What boss letting you usday car and go washing in
- 15:02Speaker 1: and clean it up and putting gas in it, and
- 15:06Speaker 1: let you letting you use They call for what? For what?
- 15:11Speaker 1: Because hers is getting worked on? Hers in the shop?
- 15:14Speaker 1: But you cool enough with your boss where you can
- 15:16Speaker 1: buy some weed and leave it in the ashtray. He
- 15:18Speaker 1: can smoke it. Y'all got that type relationship? This ain't
- 15:21Speaker 1: about bosson employer, just about something else. So I'm not
- 15:24Speaker 1: even gonna answer the damn question because I don't give
- 15:26Speaker 1: a damn about your weed. But they inner in Colorado.
- 15:30Speaker 1: I guess it is, but it's not my concern who
- 15:36Speaker 1: has a weed. I'm all concerned about how you got
- 15:38Speaker 1: your boss's car driving it and he putting gas in
- 15:41Speaker 1: and washing it. Who's sleeping with who? That's minute? What
- 15:46Speaker 1: this about? Now? Y'all having a lover spat over some
- 15:49Speaker 1: damn weed. They ain't even put this about to me.
- 15:51Speaker 1: He said, it's his car, and anything in his car
- 15:54Speaker 1: is his property, and so is she when she in it.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Get it? Yeah, all right on Shirley, Moving on. Cassandra
- 16:05Speaker 1: in the Midwest says, my husband and I we're planning
- 16:07Speaker 1: to go to Antigua over the Christmas holidays, and the
- 16:10Speaker 1: travel agent told us both that we have to be
- 16:12Speaker 1: vaccinated to travel. My husband is paid for the trip
- 16:15Speaker 1: and still won't get vaccinated, so now he's backing out
- 16:19Speaker 1: of the trip. A portion of it is nonrefundable, so
- 16:22Speaker 1: I suggested that I invite my sister to go with
- 16:24Speaker 1: me instead. He said that's fine, but he'd expect my
- 16:27Speaker 1: sister to pay him back, perhaps the trip. He was
- 16:30Speaker 1: going to lose the money, So why does she have
- 16:32Speaker 1: to pay your thoughts? See l oh hey, dog, listen
- 16:37Speaker 1: to me. This situation is because you won't get a vaccine.
- 16:42Speaker 1: You won't get vaccinated. Okay, cool? Now because of that,
- 16:47Speaker 1: only half of the money is refundable. Your sister said,
- 16:51Speaker 1: Your wife says, let my sister go. You say, fine,
- 16:53Speaker 1: but she got to pay me for the other half.
- 16:55Speaker 1: What on the half your hand or the half? Dog?
- 16:58Speaker 1: It's gone cause your ass won't get the vaccine. Now
- 17:02Speaker 1: you can't go. It don't make no sense to ask
- 17:05Speaker 1: the girl for her money back. For your money back,
- 17:07Speaker 1: Your money gone, Yes, whether she go or not, your
- 17:11Speaker 1: half for the money gone? Get it. The unvaccinated is
- 17:18Speaker 1: starting to piss me off because now y'all paying this
- 17:23Speaker 1: unvaccinated thing all into vacations and everything. Man, whatever everybody
- 17:29Speaker 1: else is suffering. I think we should have a vote.
- 17:32Speaker 1: If you don't want to get vaccinated, you can't ever
- 17:36Speaker 1: get a ventilator that'll stop all this mess right here.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Oh really, So if you get it, god forbid you do,
- 17:44Speaker 1: but don't come up in here taking up no hospital space.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Now for people who really need get your ass dynam
- 17:51Speaker 1: get vaccinated. Say what you want to say about me, whatever,
- 17:55Speaker 1: get your ass vaccinated, because I've seen what these vaccines
- 17:59Speaker 1: do to people who get vaccinated. The researchers there and
- 18:04Speaker 1: it's coming in. Yes, you can still get COVID if
- 18:07Speaker 1: you get vaccinated, but it has proven that the symptoms
- 18:11Speaker 1: are reduced greatly where you don't need hospitalization. That's a fact. Now,
- 18:15Speaker 1: other people dying from COVID who don't get vaccinated, Yes,
- 18:20Speaker 1: the likelihood it happened with the vaccinated is unaccinated. I
- 18:26Speaker 1: don't know what we're talking about. And right now I'm
- 18:29Speaker 1: talking to my old ass sister. This is personal. Why
- 18:36Speaker 1: is everything always because the family? I'm a flying down
- 18:40Speaker 1: so you can you don't sit around and chop it up.
- 18:43Speaker 1: And now we can't go yet because one of the
- 18:45Speaker 1: old my other sister ain't got the vaccine yet. You
- 18:51Speaker 1: ask get a vaccine, Okay too, damn old and be ignorant. Okay,
- 18:59Speaker 1: are you done? Because we're moving on now. Anonymous in Tennessee,
- 19:04Speaker 1: Clo says, my wife had all right, I'm gonna let
- 19:14Speaker 1: you all right marinate a little bit while I do this.
- 19:17Speaker 1: One anonymous in Tennessee says, my wife had a son
- 19:20Speaker 1: in December the strange line, and we hired an older
- 19:24Speaker 1: woman to come in and watch the baby while my
- 19:27Speaker 1: wife is in her home office working. This woman is slim,
- 19:30Speaker 1: thick with a tiny little waist and pretty feet. She
- 19:35Speaker 1: is sexy, and she knows that. I fought her off
- 19:38Speaker 1: at first, but she wore a dress with no underwear
- 19:41Speaker 1: and we ended up doing a quickie in the kitchen
- 19:43Speaker 1: while my wife was working. She has asked for more
- 19:46Speaker 1: than a quickie, and she wants me to come over
- 19:48Speaker 1: to her house. Should I go see what's up with granny?
- 19:52Speaker 1: Go see what's people are insane? Well, go see what's
- 19:56Speaker 1: up with Oh, come on, cell, I don't know what
- 20:02Speaker 1: you mean by granny. Do you mean, well, she's an
- 20:05Speaker 1: older woman. The babysitter who's watching the baby's an older woman,
- 20:08Speaker 1: so he's calling her granny. Yeah, well no, did you
- 20:14Speaker 1: miss that part? Yeah, we hired an older woman to
- 20:18Speaker 1: come in and watch the baby while my wife is
- 20:19Speaker 1: in her home office. The woman is slim, thick with
- 20:22Speaker 1: a tiny little waist and pretty feet. She's sexy. She knows. Okay, Well, dog,
- 20:27Speaker 1: I don't recommend going over to her house, because this
- 20:30Speaker 1: is gonna eventually cost you your family. And I don't
- 20:33Speaker 1: even know if it's your family anyway, because you say
- 20:35Speaker 1: your wife had a son. I don't know. Is it
- 20:38Speaker 1: not your baby? What y'all doing? I don't really know.
- 20:41Speaker 1: But sexy Granny, don't go over her house. Dog, don't
- 20:45Speaker 1: go over there. You're gonna get taped. This ain't gonna
- 20:50Speaker 1: work out. She already got you messed up. Yes, all right,
- 20:55Speaker 1: Well that's all we have time for today, Cello, thank
- 20:58Speaker 1: you very much. Coming up now, it's the Nephew and
- 21:01Speaker 1: run that brank back. Right after this. You're listening to
- 21:04Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the top
- 21:07Speaker 1: of the hour. Miss Anna is standing by with today's
- 21:10Speaker 1: national news and then trending entertainment news. Robin Thick now
- 21:14Speaker 1: is being accused of groping a blurred lines music video model.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Plus in other entertainment news, Carla is here with today's
- 21:24Speaker 1: music news. The Beet Hip Hop Awards are tonight. Yeah,
- 21:28Speaker 1: all right, The Beet Hip Hop Awards are tonight. We'll
- 21:30Speaker 1: talk about these stories, of course at the top of
- 21:33Speaker 1: the hour, but right now, the nephew, you heard him.
- 21:35Speaker 1: The nephew is here with today's run that brank back.

- 29:23Speaker 1: for you. Thinking, neph you we'll be back right after this.
- 29:26Speaker 1: You're listening to Stry Morning Show. So model Emily Rodijowski
- 29:34Speaker 1: revealed that while shooting the Blurred Lines music video and Yes,
- 29:38Speaker 1: Steve it was a few years ago, singer Robin Thicke
- 29:41Speaker 1: groped her naked breasts. The director called cut on the
- 29:45Speaker 1: video shoot and inquired if Emily was okay. Diane Martell confirmed, quote,
- 29:50Speaker 1: I remember the moment that he grabbed her breasts, one
- 29:53Speaker 1: in each hand. I screamed, in my very aggressive Brooklyn voice,
- 29:58Speaker 1: what the effort you doing? The shoot is over? Emily
- 30:01Speaker 1: wrote in her autobiography, My Body due this month. Quote
- 30:05Speaker 1: out of nowhere, I felt the coolness and foreignness of
- 30:08Speaker 1: a stranger's hands, cupping my bare breath from behind. The
- 30:12Speaker 1: model Emily Emily Radejowski recall that Thick was a little drunk.
- 30:18Speaker 1: I felt the heat of humiliation pumped through my body.
- 30:21Speaker 1: I didn't react, not really, not like I should have.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Oh so the book, Yeah, that's crazy. I know this
- 30:31Speaker 1: one song. He wished he would never record it. I
- 30:34Speaker 1: never lost the lawsuit with Marvin Gay children and this
- 30:38Speaker 1: video now when was blurred lines out? I think it
- 30:41Speaker 1: was twenty Yeah, that was a long time. She didn't
- 30:46Speaker 1: say nothing. Then years ago, Why she didn't say nothing,
- 30:50Speaker 1: We don't know if she said she said. I didn't
- 30:52Speaker 1: react like she should have. That is where. Yeah. But
- 30:57Speaker 1: now let me ask you a question. Uh, there's a
- 31:00Speaker 1: book out now, she's writing My Body, Let's due this month.
- 31:06Speaker 1: It's coming out. Oh, the book is coming out. Also,
- 31:10Speaker 1: she's she's promoting the book. Yeah, I would assume. So, yeah,
- 31:16Speaker 1: she's promoting the book, and that's something that's in the book. Yes,
- 31:19Speaker 1: out of nowhere, I felt the coolness and foreigness of
- 31:22Speaker 1: a stranger's ends, cupping my bare breast from behind yea,
- 31:25Speaker 1: so he had no right to do that. No, there's
- 31:28Speaker 1: no right to do that. But I gotta ask this,
- 31:30Speaker 1: is this for sales? That what the book? Oh is
- 31:35Speaker 1: she trying to promote? Is she's saying this so she
- 31:37Speaker 1: can promote her book and get more sales. But yeah,
- 31:39Speaker 1: I mean I expected to hear this eight years ago.
- 31:42Speaker 1: Whenever that happens, I mean, of course, naturally that's got
- 31:45Speaker 1: a lot to do with it now because I mean,
- 31:47Speaker 1: Robin Think is a famous figure. Uh. The whether he
- 31:51Speaker 1: did it or not is not what I'm talking about
- 31:54Speaker 1: because I don't know. But what I do not do
- 31:56Speaker 1: is assume that people are guilty. But if they got
- 32:00Speaker 1: witnesses and all of that, I would think. Man, I
- 32:03Speaker 1: wish that people were able to come out more freely
- 32:08Speaker 1: when things happen to them, you know, come out more
- 32:11Speaker 1: freely when it happens. I don't. It becomes a bit
- 32:16Speaker 1: m victims are scared to especially when it's somebody that's famous. Well,
- 32:22Speaker 1: that's why I said I wish it were. I wish
- 32:24Speaker 1: people were able to be able to come out when
- 32:28Speaker 1: things happen and not have to be ashamed or afraid.
- 32:31Speaker 1: That's for the whole me to movement, movement about you know, yeah,
- 32:36Speaker 1: them being afraid, them being you know, up against such
- 32:40Speaker 1: powerful entities. You know that they're afraid that they'll lose.
- 32:43Speaker 1: They'll be the losers, the victims will be the losers
- 32:46Speaker 1: and be blamed for what. Yeah, because it's been like
- 32:50Speaker 1: that for so long, you know, absolutely absolutely all right, guys,

- 33:42Speaker 1: is a trip with the news. President Biden says that
- 33:45Speaker 1: in refusing to raise the nation's dead limit so that
- 33:48Speaker 1: the government can actually pay US bills mostly run up.
- 33:50Speaker 1: He says, by the Trump administration anyway, that Republicans are
- 33:53Speaker 1: showing that they care more about politics than the American people.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Just have to let us do our job. Get out
- 34:00Speaker 1: of the way. You don't want to help save the country,
- 34:03Speaker 1: get out of the way so you don't destroy it.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Mister Biden says that in only four years with the
- 34:08Speaker 1: GOP in charge, the government ran up nearly eight trillion
- 34:12Speaker 1: dollars in additional debt that the government now has to
- 34:15Speaker 1: pay off. That's why I need the debt limit raised, officials,
- 34:18Speaker 1: saying that the federal government is now only two weeks
- 34:20Speaker 1: away from exhausting its cash reserves. Alabama Governor kiv has
- 34:25Speaker 1: announced that she intends to use four hundred million dollars
- 34:28Speaker 1: in federal COVID relief money. COVID relief money got this
- 34:32Speaker 1: and other funds not to strengthen Alabama's infrastructure, not to
- 34:36Speaker 1: provide economic assistance to people in need in her state,
- 34:40Speaker 1: and certainly not to relieve her state's health crisis. She
- 34:43Speaker 1: says she's going to use it to build more prisons.
- 34:47Speaker 1: Local people say, yeah, that's because you want to perhaps
- 34:51Speaker 1: can incarcerate more blacks. That's what civil civil active people
- 34:55Speaker 1: say in Alabama. Meanwhile, the black community of Delaware County
- 34:58Speaker 1: demanding justice in the case of a child, an eight
- 35:00Speaker 1: year old little black girls shot dead August twenty seventh
- 35:03Speaker 1: by a stray bullet outside of a high school football game,
- 35:06Speaker 1: a bullet which investigators are nearly certain came from a
- 35:09Speaker 1: cops gun. Young Fantability was killed as cops from the
- 35:14Speaker 1: County of Sharon Hill returned fire after a group of
- 35:17Speaker 1: young men got into an argument a block away from
- 35:19Speaker 1: the football stadium. State Senator Anthony Williams of the Black
- 35:23Speaker 1: Legislative Caucus says the group wants to see legal action
- 35:26Speaker 1: and several firings. They You've not heard one word from
- 35:30Speaker 1: the police chief or the police department involved in the shooting,
- 35:34Speaker 1: not one word. The grand jury is needed not only
- 35:38Speaker 1: to bring charges, but also to vet those they have
- 35:41Speaker 1: chosen not to cooperate with this investigation. The three officers
- 35:45Speaker 1: who fired their guns that day, by the way, are
- 35:47Speaker 1: an administrative leave. Their names have not been released or anything.
- 35:51Speaker 1: While a review of Sharon Hill's police policies as they
- 35:54Speaker 1: relate to the use of Deadly Force, they say is underway.
- 35:59Speaker 1: Finalists looks like Captain James T. Kirk going into space
- 36:04Speaker 1: for real. That's right. Actor William Shatner, who's ninety, is
- 36:07Speaker 1: scheduled to take to space to dun what was it
- 36:10Speaker 1: next week with je on the crew of Jeff Bezos
- 36:13Speaker 1: Blue Origin, New Shepherd things. So he's gonna do that
- 36:16Speaker 1: for real? Stay tuned. Now back to the Steve Harvey
- 36:19Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening to show. Okay, here's the here's
- 36:24Speaker 1: the question. What about the current world? What about the
- 36:28Speaker 1: current world would be most surprising to your younger self?
- 36:32Speaker 1: All right, Steve, So do you think the most surprising
- 36:35Speaker 1: thing about the current world your younger self would be
- 36:38Speaker 1: upset and shocked about is how people can actually make
- 36:42Speaker 1: a living as influencers, you know, influencers taking pictures of
- 36:46Speaker 1: themselves posting them on the internet on social media. Oh
- 36:50Speaker 1: would I be shocked at that? That? Oh? Hell yeah?
- 36:53Speaker 1: Because all I knew was hard work. I just I
- 36:56Speaker 1: just saw my daddy hard work. I ain't never knew
- 36:58Speaker 1: no if when an influence who? There were no cell phones? Who,
- 37:05Speaker 1: how are you going to influence them? And ain't but
- 37:07Speaker 1: three TV stations what are you fitting to do? I
- 37:14Speaker 1: would be stunned. I'm stunned anyway. I mean, like I'm
- 37:19Speaker 1: to be honest with you as my current self. I'm
- 37:22Speaker 1: still amazed at the fact and I'm really opening my
- 37:26Speaker 1: eyes to the fact that these young people have another
- 37:29Speaker 1: way of earning a living and it's not the route
- 37:33Speaker 1: we took. And it's been it's been a struggle for
- 37:37Speaker 1: me admitting to that. So okay, So that's that's another
- 37:41Speaker 1: part two of good Part two of this question, what
- 37:44Speaker 1: would your younger self find shocking? What else would you
- 37:47Speaker 1: find shocking? Cell phones? Cell phones? Cell phones? Cell phones?
- 37:53Speaker 1: It was unthinkable. Yeah, one of the greatest inventions. It's
- 37:57Speaker 1: right up there. Think about that. And a computer that
- 38:03Speaker 1: you can type in information and it talked talked back
- 38:06Speaker 1: to you Siri in your phone, Siri Alexa, dog. Dog.
- 38:15Speaker 1: We had to call four War one, right, Yeah, we
- 38:19Speaker 1: actually had to call four War one operator and she
- 38:22Speaker 1: didn't know how to time right. Oh, you had to
- 38:26Speaker 1: have all the information. She would say, I don't see
- 38:28Speaker 1: that I need more information, old dog. Really hold up,
- 38:32Speaker 1: hold up a phone book. Hello. You needed to know, bro,
- 38:40Speaker 1: because if you was looking for John Smith and open
- 38:43Speaker 1: up phone book dog which John Smith down that line,
- 38:54Speaker 1: just trying to call and hope that little girl answer
- 38:56Speaker 1: the phone. What a little girl? H huh? John Smith
- 38:59Speaker 1: had daddy in lay. I got to go down each smell.
- 39:02Speaker 1: I don't have her phone number. I got called to
- 39:04Speaker 1: s oh a girl you liked when you were yaller
- 39:07Speaker 1: cussed out, hung up. I wish you would bring you
- 39:11Speaker 1: a little black ass by hill, Come on by him.
- 39:14Speaker 1: She don't live him, but come by. What about landlines
- 39:20Speaker 1: with that real long extension cord, you could go out
- 39:24Speaker 1: out of nine. My daddy bought a fifty foot he
- 39:28Speaker 1: could talk on the porch. We thought that would the
- 39:30Speaker 1: coolest thing in the wood porch talking. You tried to
- 39:34Speaker 1: take that phone out on the porch and talking. Here
- 39:37Speaker 1: are you going with that phone? You ain't brought no
- 39:39Speaker 1: cord in here? All right? Coming up with thirty four
- 39:43Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we'll have more of the Steve
- 39:46Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey
- 39:50Speaker 1: Morning Show. What is going on? Last month in Bend, Oregon,
- 39:55Speaker 1: a twenty two year old black man named Barry Washington
- 39:58Speaker 1: complimented a twenty se and you're a white man named
- 40:01Speaker 1: Ian Cranston's girlfriend at a nightclub. She said, no, thank you,
- 40:07Speaker 1: I'm flattered, but I'm in a relationship. Well, Cranston didn't
- 40:11Speaker 1: like that, and a fight broke out between the two.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Prosecutor said that after the fighting stopped, there was only shouting,
- 40:18Speaker 1: at which time Cranston pulled a gun from his waistband
- 40:21Speaker 1: and shot Washington. There was no justification for his use
- 40:26Speaker 1: of the weapon. Cranston was arrested but released on a
- 40:30Speaker 1: one hundred thousand dollar bond. This outraged the community, and
- 40:34Speaker 1: he was re arrested, and the prosecutor released a statement
- 40:38Speaker 1: saying our country has a disgraceful history of denigrating, prosecuting,
- 40:42Speaker 1: and lynching black men for talking to white women. Over
- 40:46Speaker 1: the last week, hundreds of people called and emailed me
- 40:49Speaker 1: to remind me of this history. This is an horrible
- 40:53Speaker 1: story right here. This is bad. This is really bad. Absolutely,
- 40:58Speaker 1: you don't like the compliment. So let me just what's
- 41:01Speaker 1: being done to this guy that's that pulled the trigger,
- 41:04Speaker 1: that charges they've arrested him and charged him with fire.
- 41:08Speaker 1: I see he got to you know, because you just
- 41:15Speaker 1: you shooting a man because he complimented your girlfriend, and
- 41:20Speaker 1: the girl said no, it ain't like he physically did
- 41:23Speaker 1: anything to the girl, tried to force hisself on the girl,
- 41:27Speaker 1: none of that. An argument ensued. Now you pull a
- 41:31Speaker 1: gun out and you shoot the black dude, Man, get
- 41:33Speaker 1: out of you. Yeah. This, this, this ain't what we're
- 41:36Speaker 1: doing no more. It goes back to people being able
- 41:40Speaker 1: to just carry these guns so freely you can just Yeah,
- 41:44Speaker 1: I'm telling you, man, everybody, this open carry law, this
- 41:49Speaker 1: right to bear arms in this country is the most
- 41:53Speaker 1: one of the most ignorant laws we have because it's
- 41:58Speaker 1: causing so much. It's a sasta in Atlanta right now,
- 42:03Speaker 1: this carry law. Because here's look, man, here's a deal.
- 42:08Speaker 1: If you carry a gun, a lot of people end
- 42:12Speaker 1: up using it simply because they have access to it. Yeah,
- 42:16Speaker 1: that's true. And I just think, man, that when you
- 42:19Speaker 1: carry a gun, you're using it as a way out
- 42:23Speaker 1: to solve a problem. Animal walking away, animal talking, animal,
- 42:27Speaker 1: reasoning and logic. I have the ultimate decision maker on me,
- 42:32Speaker 1: and it's called a gun, and I'll use it. Yeah.
- 42:35Speaker 1: That that creates a lot of crime in our and
- 42:38Speaker 1: then the freedom to buy guns allows criminals access to guns,
- 42:43Speaker 1: which makes us who are law abadding people unsafe at Mars,
- 42:49Speaker 1: not being able to go to PHIPS and Linux is.
- 42:52Speaker 1: It's ridiculous what has happened in the city of Atlanta.
- 42:57Speaker 1: It's hard enough, Steve, with law enforcement people who legally
- 43:01Speaker 1: have the right to carry guns. You know, yeah, misconduct, Yeah,
- 43:06Speaker 1: you know when they when they react badly or wrongly,
- 43:10Speaker 1: or you know, misjudge the situation or whatever. They're racist,
- 43:14Speaker 1: whatever the situation. And you got regular, like you say,
- 43:17Speaker 1: law abiding citizens carrying guns. This is a horrible Now
- 43:22Speaker 1: the law abiding citizen tries to counter trying the capabilities
- 43:29Speaker 1: of criminals by let me, let me carry me a
- 43:32Speaker 1: gun to protect me in my family. Do I understand that? Absolutely? Absolutely,
- 43:37Speaker 1: I understand that. But now everybody got a gun, yes, yeah,
- 43:43Speaker 1: Now we live in America to shoot them up society.
- 43:47Speaker 1: And it's not like that in a lot of other countries.
- 43:49Speaker 1: And if you look at the deaf and murder rates
- 43:51Speaker 1: in other countries, America is far and away the most
- 43:58Speaker 1: vicious and criminalized country on Earth. Damn near Damn, Damn
- 44:03Speaker 1: near dog. I mean, dislike hill. This over here is crazy, man,
- 44:08Speaker 1: and it's unfair, and I don't think it is reversible.
- 44:12Speaker 1: And the reason I don't think is reversible. Is because
- 44:15Speaker 1: the n r A controls the Right League part. Yeah,
- 44:19Speaker 1: and they'll fight to the death for those Second Amendment rights.
- 44:22Speaker 1: But to answer your question, Tommy, the grand jury has
- 44:25Speaker 1: indict at Kranston. He has been charged with second degree murder,
- 44:28Speaker 1: first degree manslaughter, second degree manslaughter, first degree assault, in
- 44:32Speaker 1: two counts of unlawful use of a weapon. Okay, all right, yeah,
- 44:39Speaker 1: all right, and we'll be back with more of the
- 44:40Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up. The Nephew with today's
- 44:43Speaker 1: prank phone call. Right after this. You're listening to the
- 44:47Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the top of
- 44:51Speaker 1: the hour, right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry
- 44:53Speaker 1: letter for today. The subject is my children are inconvenient.
- 44:59Speaker 1: That is the cha. I'm what all this? Everybody on
- 45:03Speaker 1: the show has kids broke the okay? And who are listening?
- 45:08Speaker 1: All right, we'll get into it. And justin Bibby right now,
- 45:12Speaker 1: the Nephew is here. You hear them with today's praying
- 45:14Speaker 1: phone call. What you got for its nat bottom of
- 45:18Speaker 1: the pyramid, Bottom of the pyramid. I think Carlin knows
- 45:25Speaker 1: a little something about this. Right here, shout out fledge
- 45:28Speaker 1: your mom's we bought that life. Yes, all, here we go,
- 45:33Speaker 1: Come on, cat Dog bottom of the pyramid. Hello, Hello, Hello, hello, yeah,
- 45:47Speaker 1: can you hear me? I'm trying to read. Sorry on
- 45:50Speaker 1: just a second, let me turn it down. Okay, Hi,
- 45:55Speaker 1: who are you trying to reach? I'm trying to reach Angela?
- 45:59Speaker 1: Oh yeah, this Hi Andrew. This is Chip Chip. I'm
- 46:02Speaker 1: the new camp director for the cheerleading camp for the summer. Hi, Hip,
- 46:06Speaker 1: what can I do for you? I just wanted to
- 46:08Speaker 1: give you a courtesy call your daughter. You've got her
- 46:10Speaker 1: signed up for four weeks with the camp, right yeah,
- 46:14Speaker 1: but Joe, Yeah, this is your guys third year being
- 46:17Speaker 1: a part of the camp, yep. And she's really excited.
- 46:19Speaker 1: She loved coming to the camp and we think it's
- 46:22Speaker 1: a great thing for how to be involved in. What's that? Okay?
- 46:25Speaker 1: You guys just finished the whole cheerleading season two? Am I? Right?
- 46:27Speaker 1: In the competition season? Yes, it's coming off of that
- 46:31Speaker 1: right right? Okay, Well, we're getting ready for the summer
- 46:33Speaker 1: and everybody's excited about coming out and being a part
- 46:36Speaker 1: of what's going on. So here's what I wanted to
- 46:38Speaker 1: give you a little bit like I said, I'm the
- 46:40Speaker 1: new camp director. I was just starting at this job.
- 46:43Speaker 1: I got a few notes that that we're giving to
- 46:46Speaker 1: me about about, so I wanted to give you a
- 46:50Speaker 1: call and see if I could talk to you about it.
- 46:52Speaker 1: A few notes giving to you about Yeah, just a
- 46:54Speaker 1: couple of notes. I don't think it's anything that we
- 46:55Speaker 1: can make sure it's okay. What kind of note. Well,
- 46:58Speaker 1: it's been brought from my team, and that some of
- 47:00Speaker 1: the parents whose daughters are out there as well, there's
- 47:03Speaker 1: gonna be there this summer. A little concerned about her
- 47:06Speaker 1: being on top of the pyramid, that she's uh is
- 47:11Speaker 1: getting a little heavy shit she uh wait wait wait
- 47:15Speaker 1: wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait ho ho ho.
- 47:18Speaker 1: You calling me about some some other parents and said
- 47:22Speaker 1: about how big my child is or how much my
- 47:25Speaker 1: child waves? Is that work? What I wanted to let
- 47:29Speaker 1: you know was we're gonna put as a base. Oh no,
- 47:34Speaker 1: you ain't gonna put no base. I don't already pay
- 47:37Speaker 1: my money. And what you say your name is Chip?
- 47:40Speaker 1: And um, how long have you been the director? Because
- 47:42Speaker 1: I was just up there two weeks ago and they
- 47:44Speaker 1: told me that she was gonna be the same position
- 47:47Speaker 1: that she was last year, because that is what worked.
- 47:49Speaker 1: That's the formation that works. So I don't even know
- 47:52Speaker 1: what the world supposedly that some of the girls are
- 47:54Speaker 1: complaining that she's too heavy to hold up. So that's
- 47:57Speaker 1: what seems to be the problem in there. They're not
- 47:59Speaker 1: getting a strong on the pyramids. And wait a minute, way,
- 48:02Speaker 1: way a minute. I know, well, she ain't the biggest one.
- 48:06Speaker 1: I felt, have you been myself? My child is not
- 48:08Speaker 1: the biggest child. I fell when it because I would
- 48:11Speaker 1: see you have not seen these chimleys and if some
- 48:13Speaker 1: baby so most I felt, Okay, hang on, sud Angela,
- 48:16Speaker 1: I want you to calm down a bit now. Aint
- 48:18Speaker 1: nobody's gonna calm down because I'd not already paid my money,
- 48:21Speaker 1: And it is that I'll be talking about what parents
- 48:23Speaker 1: what Harrison said? Something? Is it? Uh? Is it? Carrie Man?
- 48:27Speaker 1: I'm not. I'm not gonna state who it is, but
- 48:29Speaker 1: let's just say it was several Harris has got something
- 48:33Speaker 1: to say about my child and her position on the
- 48:35Speaker 1: chimleading squad. Because if you ain't gonna fuck up no names,
- 48:38Speaker 1: then I don't understand what you're calling me about. I'll
- 48:40Speaker 1: tell you one thing. When she get out fell I
- 48:43Speaker 1: didn't pay my money. She better not be on no base.
- 48:46Speaker 1: She better be in the hour. I guarantee you that, right. Nah,
- 48:49Speaker 1: I've been hanging with the ain't nobody said nothing to
- 48:53Speaker 1: me about and my way and all this. Okay, Angela,
- 48:56Speaker 1: can you hear me? I just wanted you to hear
- 48:58Speaker 1: me clearly. I haven't seen these young ladies yet. Once
- 49:01Speaker 1: I see them, I will critique what I think. You
- 49:04Speaker 1: don't even need to be calling me because you ain't
- 49:06Speaker 1: even seen nothing. Are you calling me with some He
- 49:07Speaker 1: says she's from some other parents that's been skinny and
- 49:10Speaker 1: grinned in my face, and they now wanted you and
- 49:13Speaker 1: nothing to me. They have't been in my house. We
- 49:15Speaker 1: ain't had parties, always hiving the competition every weekend of
- 49:18Speaker 1: other day, and they couldn't say nothing to me about
- 49:20Speaker 1: my baby. I tell you what, why don't you call
- 49:23Speaker 1: your girls on the three way? Mister Chip. If you
- 49:26Speaker 1: can't call him on the three I got them. I
- 49:29Speaker 1: call him on the three way. Okay, Okay, Look man,
- 49:32Speaker 1: all I wanted to do is make you aware of
- 49:35Speaker 1: the possibility that she may be a good Thank you
- 49:38Speaker 1: you have made me aware, and I guarantee you that
- 49:40Speaker 1: if I bring my big yellow up and come to
- 49:42Speaker 1: the practice, I guarantee you she won't be a face.
- 49:44Speaker 1: How much you want to bet on that, mister Chip, Look,
- 49:47Speaker 1: you're gonna quit holler and me and I told you
- 49:49Speaker 1: I would try to take a look at these girls.
- 49:51Speaker 1: But I tell you what your thought is gonna be
- 49:53Speaker 1: a face or she's gonna be a back support, whichever
- 49:55Speaker 1: I decide. She's started to do. Who enough do you
- 49:58Speaker 1: think you're holler that at, mister chill, No, that's not
- 50:04Speaker 1: how it's gonna go down, as a matter of fact.
- 50:05Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, mister chill, are you at
- 50:07Speaker 1: the registration table to day? I'm here now while people
- 50:10Speaker 1: are registering you? Sorry, let me turn it around. I'll
- 50:13Speaker 1: tell you what. I'm all my way up there. Why
- 50:16Speaker 1: don't you and the parents has been complaining? Why don't
- 50:19Speaker 1: all y'all come to the table and we gonna have
- 50:21Speaker 1: come to Jesus meeting about whether it's gonna be But
- 50:24Speaker 1: it's coming up season because I'm not going to tolerate this.
- 50:27Speaker 1: I've ben't told you, I haven't paid my money, and
- 50:29Speaker 1: this high is going down? Game weight? What what is
- 50:33Speaker 1: it that you wa game way to night. What does
- 50:35Speaker 1: they have to do with her chill meeting? Jude? You
- 50:38Speaker 1: agree that probably bigger than most of the girls on
- 50:41Speaker 1: the team. It's not bigger than most of the girls
- 50:43Speaker 1: on the team. Uh, mommy daughter's visited and she wasn't
- 50:47Speaker 1: no base. Last ship they hiked up up some gonna

- 51:00Speaker 1: something else I need to tell you. You ain't gonna
- 51:01Speaker 1: tell me something. All you gotta do is to have
- 51:04Speaker 1: you and the pears around that table when I get there,
- 51:07Speaker 1: because I'm on my way up there right now. Then
- 51:09Speaker 1: y'all can say all y'all gotta say in my face, Well,

- 51:22Speaker 1: hold on, holo ho what did you just say? This
- 51:25Speaker 1: is a nephew timing from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 51:57Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land. Now you have
- 52:08Speaker 1: some people got to be at the bottom. Okay, some
- 52:10Speaker 1: people got to be at the bottom. Up with me, everybody.
- 52:17Speaker 1: Everybody can't be on the top. All you chier moms
- 52:21Speaker 1: and cheer dad's out there, y'all, y'all pull up a
- 52:23Speaker 1: little bit, y'all, y'all go hard for y'all be on
- 52:26Speaker 1: the sideline doing way too much yelling at the coach.
- 52:34Speaker 1: You just said, we cheer moms, we about that life.
- 52:39Speaker 1: Everybody can't be on top. It's got to be some
- 52:42Speaker 1: people at the bottom of the pyramid. Weight got a
- 52:44Speaker 1: lot to do with it. You got to be on
- 52:49Speaker 1: the base. You know who you are. You can't be
- 52:52Speaker 1: the flyer. We can't throw you up and had a

- 53:00Speaker 1: way down you're important. I'm not gonna run the risk
- 53:07Speaker 1: of breaking both my arms trying to catch you. I
- 53:12Speaker 1: think what costs most money is all expensive as ribbons.
- 53:19Speaker 1: And let me tell you something. Your ribbon better not
- 53:21Speaker 1: come out your head and hit that floor. You lose
- 53:23Speaker 1: points for that. Yes, you better. You better have listen, No, listen.

- 54:37Speaker 1: be buckle up and hold on tight. We got it
- 54:39Speaker 1: for you here. It is the Strawberry letter. Thank you,
- 54:42Speaker 1: fh you. My children are inconvenient is the subject. Dear
- 54:47Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley. I'm fifty one years old. I'm a married woman,
- 54:51Speaker 1: and I've been with my husband for seven years. We
- 54:55Speaker 1: met at a rap concert while picking up our daughters,
- 54:57Speaker 1: who were both sixteen at the time. He and I
- 55:00Speaker 1: started talking about how we shouldn't have let our daughters
- 55:03Speaker 1: go unchaperoned. My daughter and her friends came out first,
- 55:07Speaker 1: and he got my number before I walked away. We
- 55:10Speaker 1: instantly clicked, and he proposed a year. After a year
- 55:15Speaker 1: of dating, our daughters didn't know each other, so they
- 55:18Speaker 1: demanded separate bedrooms as we struggled to blend our families
- 55:22Speaker 1: after marriage. Right now, we live with two twenty three
- 55:25Speaker 1: year old women, and he has a son that is nineteen,
- 55:28Speaker 1: and he comes and goes as he pleases. When he
- 55:31Speaker 1: breaks up with this girl, he's back on our couch
- 55:34Speaker 1: for a few weeks. All of our bedrooms, all of
- 55:36Speaker 1: our closets, and two storage rooms have been taken over
- 55:40Speaker 1: by grown children. My husband and I are a decent couple,
- 55:44Speaker 1: and my man works hard, and so do I. We
- 55:48Speaker 1: brought our children up in the church and we made
- 55:50Speaker 1: sure they went to college. All three of them dropped out.
- 55:54Speaker 1: Our girls smoke weed, and I'm sure our son does too,
- 55:58Speaker 1: but he's just better at high The girls smoke in
- 56:01Speaker 1: our backyard, and the neighbors used to complain, but now
- 56:05Speaker 1: they just accept it like we do. I talk to
- 56:08Speaker 1: my husband about us selling our house and downsizing to
- 56:10Speaker 1: a condo so these freeloaders won't have any space, but
- 56:14Speaker 1: he's got a soft spot for these grown, lazy women.
- 56:18Speaker 1: I want to redo our kitchen and din but I
- 56:20Speaker 1: refuse to make our home nicer until the freeloaders will leave.
- 56:23Speaker 1: I don't feel bad for them because they're a major
- 56:27Speaker 1: inconvenience at this point. They have no way to take
- 56:30Speaker 1: care of themselves if we put them out. What can
- 56:33Speaker 1: we do to get these grown ups out of here? Wow,
- 56:37Speaker 1: this is a really sad letter. Smoking weed in the
- 56:41Speaker 1: backyard not working. This has got to stop right now. Okay,
- 56:46Speaker 1: and downsizing to a nice condo sounds really nice. And
- 56:51Speaker 1: I got to ask where is their mother? She probably
- 56:54Speaker 1: doesn't let them take advantage of her space like you guys,
- 56:57Speaker 1: You and your husband have to present some sort of
- 57:00Speaker 1: night at front. I know you said your husband has
- 57:02Speaker 1: a soft spot, But you all got to get this
- 57:04Speaker 1: together so you can talk to these entitle, spoiled kids.
- 57:07Speaker 1: You gotta let them know things are about to change.
- 57:09Speaker 1: The free rides over. You got to set a deadline
- 57:12Speaker 1: for them to get it together and get out. They
- 57:16Speaker 1: need jobs, they need apartments so they can get out
- 57:18Speaker 1: as soon as possible. They should start looking now, You
- 57:22Speaker 1: as parents are enabling them. That's what you're doing. You
- 57:25Speaker 1: have these kids have no incentive to get out. They
- 57:29Speaker 1: have free meals, free room and boards. They can smoke
- 57:33Speaker 1: weed whenever they want to. You guys, don't say anything.
- 57:36Speaker 1: I mean, what's their incentive to leave? I mean, the
- 57:38Speaker 1: sun does have a place to live, so you definitely
- 57:42Speaker 1: shouldn't be letting him come and go as he pleases.
- 57:46Speaker 1: I know you love your kids. We all love our kids,
- 57:48Speaker 1: but there does come a time when we have to
- 57:51Speaker 1: let go so they can spread their wings and get
- 57:53Speaker 1: started on their own paths, on their own journey. They'll
- 57:56Speaker 1: figure it out. They will figure it out as we
- 57:59Speaker 1: all did, and they'll thank you later. All right, but
- 58:03Speaker 1: you've got to tell them to get out now, set
- 58:05Speaker 1: that deadline and stick to it. You and your husband
- 58:07Speaker 1: together as a couple. Steve, all of us on this
- 58:13Speaker 1: show that have adult children know what this letter is
- 58:16Speaker 1: about and were sick of this type of letter. Yeah,
- 58:20Speaker 1: we feel for you, we understand you, we empathize with you.
- 58:26Speaker 1: But at the same time, I've had to do some things.
- 58:30Speaker 1: Now let me tell you something ain't all ease because
- 58:31Speaker 1: I'm all through this letter. I had blended family. All
- 58:34Speaker 1: this here, so you know, here we go. Y'all met
- 58:37Speaker 1: at a rap concert. Both of y'all sixteen year old
- 58:40Speaker 1: daughters was at the concert. Y'all met waiting on them
- 58:42Speaker 1: to come outside. Your daughters came out first with her friends.
- 58:46Speaker 1: You all clicked. He asked for your number before you
- 58:49Speaker 1: walked away. A year later, you all were married. Your daughters,
- 58:53Speaker 1: who were both sixteen, didn't really know each other, so
- 58:56Speaker 1: they demanded separate bedrooms as we struggled to blend our
- 59:00Speaker 1: families after marriage. Blend in the family is not easy,
- 59:04Speaker 1: especially the older they get. The more opinionated they are,
- 59:07Speaker 1: and they have personalities, and they not necessarily would have
- 59:10Speaker 1: been friends. They just became family thing. But families you
- 59:15Speaker 1: don't get to pick your family. You do get to
- 59:17Speaker 1: pick your friends, so when you throw them into this situation,
- 59:21Speaker 1: it is going to be some difficulties. Right now, after
- 59:25Speaker 1: seven years, you live with two twenty three year old women,
- 59:29Speaker 1: and yeah, as a son is nineteen, come and go
- 59:32Speaker 1: as he pleases, he break up with his girlfriend, he's
- 59:34Speaker 1: back on our couch for a few weeks. All of
- 59:37Speaker 1: our bedrooms, all of our clauses, two stories rooms have
- 59:39Speaker 1: been taken up, our grown children. My husband and I
- 59:42Speaker 1: have a decent couple, and my man works hard, and
- 59:45Speaker 1: so do I. It's just so much going wrong in
- 59:48Speaker 1: this letter. First of all, they've been at y'all's house
- 59:51Speaker 1: way too long. Now. I'm off for your solution when
- 59:54Speaker 1: we come back. But let me say this first. We
- 59:56Speaker 1: brought our children up in the church. Okay, so much
- 59:59Speaker 1: for that, So much for that. I don't even know
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: why you put that in there. I don't know. I
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: don't know. I don't know if that was supposed to
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: change something. Because you bought them up in the church.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: You can bring them up in the church, and you
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: can bring them up in the club when they ain't
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: doing what they supposed to do. They ain't doing what
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: they're supposed to do, and we made sure they went
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: to college. All three of them dropped out. Okay, so
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: now you're making adult decisions on your own, then it
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: is time for adult consequences when I come back to me.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: This whole letter is about consequences and you have to
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: allow and I've learned this as a parent. You have
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: to allow for the consequences to occur. It's the only
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: way they're gonna learn. And it's not consequences that you inflict.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: It's consequences that happen from their decisions. Will go over
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: this when I come there. Hang on, Steve, we'll have
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: part two of your response coming up twenty three minutes
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: after the our subject, my children are inconvenient. We'll get
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening Morning show.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: My children are inconvenient? Well? Well, well, well ain't they all?
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: Sometimes your children get on your last damn Nerve. Oh,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: they don't think they do, but they do. And guess
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: what the good news is they children gonna get on
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: they damn nerves too, Nann. So that's how I've been
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: I've been looking at my son when kids now, and
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: he'd be talking to me, I don't even be listening
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: ahead to tell me why I listening whatever? Whatever, you
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: was that same damn problem you tell me. So now
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: we got these couple gotten married. They have two daughters.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: At sixteen, they blended a family. They're having difficulties. The
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: daughters demanded each separate bed rooms. They struggle with their marriage.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: They got a nineteen year old boy that comes and
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: go when he pleased. If he break up with his girlfriend,
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: he back on their couch for a few weeks. All
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: the bed rooms and closets and storage is taken up
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: by grown children. And you all are a decent couple.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: You and your husband. Y'all raised your kids in church,
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: which whatever, anyway, we made sure they went to college.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: Now all three of the kids have decided to drop
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: out of college. This is where your consequences have to begin.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: The one thing I've taught my children is this, the
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: older you get, the more die of the consequences. So
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: you can make these mistakes at a child, and then
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: your parents are helping. But the older you get, my man,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: the more die of the consequences. And I'm not going
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: to stop the consequences from happening to you. So once
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: they decided to drop out of college, then guess what
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: they needed to develop then was a plan of action
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: since you don't want to go to college, but they
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: ain't have one, and you all didn't allow them to
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: have one because you all let them come back to
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: the hole. Now all three of them then dropped out,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: and now they're smoking weed, and you sure your son
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: does too. He just bet at hiding it. The girls
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: smoke weed in y'all's backyard, and the neighbors used to complain,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: but now they just accepted, like we do. Really seem
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: to me like you need some rules at your house. See,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: you can stay here, but these are the rules at
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: our house. You can't smoke weed in the backyard. It's
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: no longer acceptable. And if you smoke weed in the backyard,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: we're gonna put you out. But they ain't got no consequences,
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: so they do what they want to do. Now, you
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: say you talked to your husband about selling your house
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: and downsizing so you can get rid of these freeloaders
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: because they won't have any space. But he got a
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: soft spot for these grown lazy women. I'm assuming that
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: you don't. That's why you wrote the letter. You want
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: to redo your kitchen. It dead, but you don't want
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: to make the place nice until the freeloaders lead. I
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: don't feel bad for them because they have a major
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: inconvenience at this point, they have no way to take
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: care of themselves. This is where you and I have
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: some problems. They have no way to take care of themselves.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: Well that's not true. They do have a way once
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: they have to find a way. I'm gonna repeat that,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: they do have a way once they have to find
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: a way. But as Shirley said, you've enabled them, so
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: now they ain't got to find a way. We're in
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: the back yard smoking weed. We got a roof over
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: our head, we got some need and we can get around.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: So what do we need to do anything for if
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: we put them out? What can they excuse me? I'm sorry,
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: we have no way to take They have no way
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: to get care of themselves. If we with them out,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: What can we do to get these grown ups out
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: of here? First of all, you need to set a deadline.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: That's for starters. You all have six months to find
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: a job. Whoever doesn't have a job will be staying
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: with the one that does have a job. But everybody
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: got six months to find a job. Secondly, you and
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: your husband stop cooking at home and y'all go out
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: to dinner. I don't care if it's to go up
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: to Popeyes. I don't give a damn. If it's to
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: go get salad at Wendy's Ball salad Ball, I don't
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: give a damn. If it's go to Jim and Nicks,
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: I don't care what it is. Y'all need to stop cooking,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: starved their ass out. See, stop making conveniences. Yeah, so
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: stop cooking, go out to dinner, set a deadline, and
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: then they have to realize consequences. You have to allow
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: life to hand them what they're putting in. See, you
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: get out of life what you put in. So if
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: you don't allow your kids to suffer consequences, Daddy, can
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: I borrow some money, but what you need? And then
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: they tell me, I'm under no obligation to give you
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: the money. It depends on what's happening in your life.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: And I'm telling you right now, for the most part,
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: I forced them to figure it out. I forced them
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: to figure it out. And you know what, they go
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: do they go and figure it out, because you know
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: what we all did. We all struggle to give our
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: kids a better life than the one we had, and
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: in that process, you all, we created a safety net
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: for them that we didn't have. And so now guess
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: what they do. They keep diving and laying in the
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: damn net and that's all they do because they think
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: they are and they take advantage of the safety net.
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: You have to remove the net. True, I'm sorry. It's
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: the only way to make it happen and let them
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: figure it out. That's the only way to do it. Deadline,
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: you gotta get your ass out, That's right, Steve. Post
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: your comments on today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey FM,
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: on Instagram and Facebook. Check out the Strawberry Letter podcast
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: on demand coming up at forty six minutes after the
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: hour of Sports Talk with you know Who Junior. Right
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, Junior is here with Sports Talk. What's
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: you got Junior? Okay, Shirley, first off, if I'm gonna
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: get to my team in a minute, but just congratulates
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: to Tom Brady for sitting the passing record. He now
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: holds the NFL pass a record with eighty congratulation. Browns
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: the Browns, Yeah you know it again, because you're out
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: there in Texas and ain't got nothing to be grateful for.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: Go ahead, Junior. I'm sorry, yeah, ok on no, because
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: he lost Sunday forty to nothing, forty to nothing to
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: the Buffalo Bills for it, not a now point, not
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: nothing nothing. We had nothing to show for it. So
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: it says now Statistically, teams that are one in three
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: or folk the whole game attendance drops eighteen percent. So
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: since we end that agent percent, I got some ideas
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: to help the team out and get the attendance up.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: Just as a few suggestions, I think we should really
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: implement ahead for a hundred dollars, just just for the take.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: For a hundred dollars, you can run out the tunnel
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: with the team and then run to your seat, because
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: we need to see who out here can run. We
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: need other players can't do a damn thing on the field,
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: just scout retalent at the at the fort out. Why
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: would I give you one hundred dollars to run out
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: with y'all losing asks? Go ahead? We're trying to find
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: better players. We ain't really got nothing. So for fifty
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: we got players or coaching. For fifty dollars, we'll let
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: you drop your own play, will send it down and
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: we'll run it. Because the one we run it ain't
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: doing a damn thing for the whole peack, because we
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: just go a point. We just need player coach. For
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: two hundred dollars, we'll put pads in a helmet on
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: you and let you play whatever position you want. If
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: you feel like you're a better quarterback. Hell, he's starting
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: eleven games in college. If you got any none league,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: any two hand touch leading high school football, I don't
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: give a damn what it is you have done. If
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: you can play better quarterback, then heat we'll came. I'm
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: gonna give you two hundred dollars to put on some
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: pads and stand behind that ragged ass official line. Um, Um,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: did you see we lost forty or nothing? We need
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: all the help we can get. Six day. Don't want
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: to initiate no help, We'll I initiate it for football
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: to hand touch. We don't give a damn what it is.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: What's your football sparing? You can do better than what
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: we did because we put up a goose egg for
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: it to nothing, but you know what, and then for
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: another two hundred and fifty dollars. Hell, we'll let you
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: start because the startups we got ain't worth a damn,
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: he says, too high, two hundred and fifty start and
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: lose and just you don't. Can you get read my seasons? Parents?
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: And I got two seasons? Fair? Can you go? And
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: I'm abody buying that ragged ass chair you got For
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: the passing time, We'll let you do the pep talk
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: in the locker room to the coach. Get great suggestions, Junior,
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: I love it. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: we'll talk about the man code. Right after this. You're
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: listening to Steve. If you recall, you mentioned that you
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: saw the public apology of B two k's Little Fizz
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: when he apologized to a Marion for dating a Marion's
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: X and the mother of his two children, April Jones Well.
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: During a recent B two K concert in Los Angeles.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Fizz said he was wrong and basically said, I did
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: some fed up sugar honey iced tea stuff to my brother.
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: I'm not proud of it, man, So I want to
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: say humbly, I humbly and sincerely apologize to you for
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: any turmoil and dysfunction I caused between you and your family.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: So here's the question. Yeah you saw it, Yeah it
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: was I'm sure it was a moment too. So here's
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: a question for you. Junior and Tommy Steve talk about
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: this man code. Fizz broke it. But can you really
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: really be cool again once you break that man code?
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: Can you be cool with your with your teammates or
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: your bandmate, your brother again? I sent your name? Well, well,
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: well we can just hold on for him because we
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: already know what it is. Yeah, Oh, I don't know
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: that it'll ever be the same because it's two people
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: that's got to be forgiven. Fears is gonna forgive me
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: for doing what he did to my girl, and then
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna need forgiven it for what I did to
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: Fears for doing it to my girl Maria forgiving Fiz right. Well,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: but see, I then Fear is gonna have to have
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: forgiven me for beating his ass as bad as I
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: did once week. Then now I don't know how time
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: it feel. But that's that's a lot that'll partly we'd
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: probably still be on stage forgiving each other. Okay, all right,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: what no, d Dani, same don't Yeah, I mean I
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: hear what you say saying, but now you know that
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: that you can't fix that because now, well my girl
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: I got Now, I can't trust you around, honey, because
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: y'all ass is a girl snatches. So it ain't a
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: where in the world. I'm gonna sit up here and
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: just be cool with you any time you walk in
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: the room and here feeds in here, get your stuff,
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: baby's gonna go. Come on, put the plate down and
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: let's go. Feez is here ain't awhere in the world.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: All right, well, let's thank you. Let's move on to
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: the man who holds a grudge until he dies. Uh, nephew,
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: what about this man? Code? What you got? I'm through
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: with you when we get to hell and all help,
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: I don't with you. That's it. It is what it is.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: I'm sucky you've didn't done me. We dune. That's your age.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: That forgiveness. Yeah, I think man don't have that type
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: of forgiveness towards that can't forgive each other. World thank
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: forgive each other because and the reason being is, you know,
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: they performing together they got a way to make this money,
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: and I can show you something probably happened with that dude.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: Does a Marian still date this girl? No? Yeah, see
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: that that's has two children from her. No, And it
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: sounds like she was she on some revenge stuff to
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: hurt him a Marian and then got with Fizz and
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: he was wrong and she was wrong. So yeah, yeah, apologized.
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: I think that big. That was real big. But I
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: would like I said, I'd have had to apologize to them.
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: Since we apologize the apology to I think that's being
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: because I think a lot of B two K fans
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: probably thought that they would never see them perform again
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: in the group still as off the stage. Well, if
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: you feel to be in the group and he'll be
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: a cutout, he'll be, he'll be fizzing. It'll be some
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: season out of him. That's but you know what, in
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: all honesty, I like the apology that he made and
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: I'm glad they was able to squash it because it
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: ain't just fears to your girl trifling too. Yeah, so
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: sometimes you need to get the news in a different way.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: One more time as we go out, Tommy, just to
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: be clear on how you feel what averybody annoy it.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: We'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: Showed twenty minutes after. Right after this, you're listening to
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. In trending COVID News. Chief
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: White House Medical Advisor Anthony Fauci said yesterday on the
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: CBS Face the Nation show that it is just too
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: soon to tell if Americans would need to limit holiday
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: gatherings this year due to a course of pandemic. Doctor
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: Fauci instead says we should focus like a laser on
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: continuing to get those cases down by getting people vaccinated
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: and getting booster shots into the arms of those that qualify.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: Last year, at the start of October twenty twenty, the
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: seven day moving average of cases was around forty three thousand,
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: according to the CDC. The current seven day moving average
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: is around a one hundred and three thousand. Wow. That's
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: a huge difference. Wow. Yeah, it's almost double, or more
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: than double, more than double, yeah, more than double. People
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: are not listening. They're not doing this Christmas like they
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: did last Christmas. They're gonna gather, is what you're saying.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, they had football games right now? Will
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: you watch college football? You're watching a super soaker spreader.
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: But the pros too though, right, professional games too. Yeah,
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: everything is back, surely, I said it exactly. Why so yeah? Man? Yeah,
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: well man, my grandmother. You gotta have your vaccine car
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: to get in hot house. But Thanksgiving that first. All right,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: up at thirty three minutes after. Right after this, you're
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: listening to the show? Time now for, asked the CLO
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in the building. This one
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: is from Lakida and Denver. Lakida writes, I'm using my
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: boss's car temporarily while mine is getting worked on. He
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: helps me out by putting gas in the car, getting
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: it washed occasionally. The other day he took the car
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: and got it washed and filled it up. I noticed
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: that my weed was gone, so I asked him if
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: the car man threw it out. He said he found
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: the weed and smoked it. He said it's his are
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: and anything in the car is his property. I am
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: so hot? Should I make him replace my weed? Are
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: you kidding me? Are you kidding me? Legal? Okay? Now,
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: let me okay, okay, let me ask something, because did
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: I get it confused. What's this her car? Her bosses
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: now her boss's car, she's using it. She's using her
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: boss's car, hers is getting worked done it? Has she
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: left out the part that her boss is trying or
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: sleeping with her? Oh? Well it should be. What boss
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: letting you use their car and go wash it in
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: and clean it up and pitting gas in it? But
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: you cool enough with your boss where you can buy
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: some weed and leave it in the ashtray he can
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: smoke it. Y'all got that type relationship. This ain't about
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: bossing employees, just about something else. So I'm not even
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: gonna answer the damn question because I don't give a
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: damn about your weed. But they in Colorado, I guess
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: it is. But it's not my concern. Who has we?
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: I'm more concerned about how you got your boss's car,
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: driving it and he putting gas in and washing it.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: Who's sleeping with Who's That's really what y'all having a
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: love of spat over some damn we dat me. He
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: said it's his car and anything in his car is
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: his property, and so is she when she in it?
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: Get it? Yeah, all right, sir? Moving on, Cassandra in
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: the Midwest, says, my husband and I we're planning to
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: go to Antigua over the Christmas holidays, and the travel
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: agent told us both that we have to be vaccinated
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: to travel. My husband is paid for the trip and
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: still won't get vaccinated, so now he's backing out of
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: the trip. A portion of it is nonrefundable, so I
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: suggested that I invite my sister to go with me instead.
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: He says, that's fine, but he'd expect my sister to
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: pay him back for half the trip. He was going
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: to lose the money, so why did she have to
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: pay your thoughts c l oh, hey, dog, listen to me.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: This situation is because you won't get a vaccine. You
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: won't get vaccinated, Okay, cool. Now because of that, only
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: half of the money is refundable, your sister said, Your
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: wife says, let my sister go. You say, fine, but
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: she got to pay me for the other half. What
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: other half? You don't hand no other half? Dog, it's
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: gone cause your ass won't get the vaccine. Now you
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: can't go. It don't make no sense to ask the
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: girl for her money back, for your money back, Your
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: money gone. The unvaccinated is starting to piss me off.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: Coming up, it is our last break of the day,
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: and of course we'll have some closing remarks from the
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: one and only, our fearless leader, our Captain, Steve Harvey
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: at forty nine minutes after right after this, you're listening
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, here we are
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: on this Tuesday with our last break of the day,
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: and this is it for our show for today. We've
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: had fun. It's been good. Yes man, had a good time. Yeah,
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: good Tuesday. Uh huh? And I don't what are you
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: so mad? You don't really need to say nothing else today? Really?
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: Really you really think you need to be talking? I
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: told y'all cut his mic off. But what is he
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: mad about? The little fist and mary stuff? Too long? Caller,
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: that was forty minutes ago. We talked about that for years,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: than boy and mad at Earl Patterson on street about
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: his bike that will never change. That makes you bitter inside.
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: Earl Patterson. Earl got always be, Earl got to be
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: at least sixty eight now he's still be talking about
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: Earl Patterson. I'll be gonna Tommy, if you saw Earl,
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: you wouldn't need recognized, all right, what is that? What
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: the close remark about? On? Man, we ain't got enough
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: time for them closing my mom with him. Hey, y'all,
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: I do want to say this though. I want to
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: remind people of something. I want everybody to go back
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: and look again. Go back and look again. If you
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: have given up on a mission in life, if you've
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: given up on a dream, if you've given up on
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: an aspiration, if you've stopped pursuing anything you that that
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: that you had your eyes on as a goal, I
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: want you to go back and look again. Sometimes you
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: have to rekindle the dream. Sometimes you got to fire
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: fired back up. Sometimes you gotta find a new motivation.
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: Sometimes you just gotta Sometimes you just gotta go back
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: and look again. I can't tell you how many times
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: I stopped doing something because I thought it wasn't gonna happen,
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: or because I thought that wasn't God's will, or because
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: I just got tired. But if you go back and
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: look again, you might come to the realization that God
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: was behind the scenes working some stuff out for you.
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: Because God sees things you don't see. He hears conversations
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: you don't hear, so quite naturally, God gonna make moves
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: you wouldn't make. Sometimes you got to go back and
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: look again, because I can promise you it was not
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: his fault at all. It is always because of a
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: decision we make. Stop letting the devil rob you of
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: your destiny by giving up too early. A blessing delayed
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: is not a blessing denied. God has impeccable timing. His
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: timing is always on point. He's never too late. The
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: problem with people is we give up too early. We
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: get tied awaiting on God's impeccable timing, and we give
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: up too early. When all you got to do is
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: stay the course. If you stay the course, lem la
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: menation you something? What's wrong with staying the course? If
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: you don't see any move then happening? Why would you
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: not just stay the course when you don't see movement happening?
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: It doesn't mean movement ain't happening. Could it possibly be
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: that God is doing some things behind the scenes? You
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: ever thought about that? I'm telling y'all, man, Sometimes you
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: got to go back and look again. You gotta take
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: a second look, man, and you'll find out. Oftentimes, man,
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: it ain't God as you you got to stop giving
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: up so quick. You got to stop throwing in the towel.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: You got to stop raising the white flag. What you're
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: doing that for? What you're quitting for the problem with
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: quitting is you, when you quit, you finalize the blessing
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: from happenings. You impede the blessing from coming because you quit,
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: You gave up. Sometimes you gotta go back and look again.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: God has always working behind the scenes. He's always preparing
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: a table for you. I can't count the times how
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: many times God didn't prepare the table in the presence
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: of my enemies. I can't even tell you. I'm a
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: living witness to this, man. But you gotta keep the faith.
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: You gotta keep believing. You gotta keep going when it
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: feels like it ain't gonna happen hanging there? Why quit
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: when it doesn't feel right, when it doesn't seem like
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: it's moving. This is not the time to quit. This
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: is the time to knuckle down, stand still, and keep
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: your faith. This is all what faith is. How many
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: times can I say it? Man, Faith is the belief
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: in things that you cannot see. God ain't gonna always
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: reveal to you exactly how he's doing it. You just
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: got to believe that it's gonna get done, just like
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: it's been done every other time. Tell me one time
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: God has failed you. Name it. Name the one time
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: he failed you. Now, if you thank you're smart enough
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: where you can name a time God has failed you.
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: I want you to look back at that. Was it
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: really God? Or was it you? I bet you it
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: was you. God never fails. Come on, y'all, keep your faith,
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: keep your head up. God is working. Look back again,
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: take a look, don't give up hanging there. Those are
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: my closing remarks. Y'all have a great one today. Hey, look,
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: we'll see y'all tomorrow or God willing, and we'll have
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: another great day. We'll have another great show. This Steve R.
