- 1:58Speaker 1: appreciate you bring them out. As they said. You know
- 2:03Speaker 1: what I'm saying. When you gotta when you gotta resume,
- 2:05Speaker 1: don't leave it on the floor. On the floor, and
- 2:08Speaker 1: you got an incredible resume. Man, I appreciate you started
- 2:10Speaker 1: doing stand up, Yes, sir, why why? Why coming from
- 2:15Speaker 1: the church. Honestly, I mean my father was into the ministry.
- 2:18Speaker 1: And actually it goes back even before that. I mean
- 2:20Speaker 1: the first time I was ever officially on stage doing
- 2:22Speaker 1: stand up, I was about eleven years old and it
- 2:25Speaker 1: was auditioned North Carolina for the Apollo and it was like,
- 2:29Speaker 1: you know, it was like the Apollo used to travel
- 2:32Speaker 1: to find, you know, different acts, and they were put
- 2:35Speaker 1: on small talent shows in smaller regions and in North Carolina,
- 2:39Speaker 1: my dad I would always like, get up and you know,
- 2:41Speaker 1: tell Jesus jokes in the church and stuff, and my
- 2:43Speaker 1: dad was like, yeah, you should audition. I put together
- 2:45Speaker 1: a whole set when I was eleven, and then from
- 2:47Speaker 1: there just kept at it. By the time, you know,
- 2:50Speaker 1: I was fifteen years old, I was a regular at
- 2:52Speaker 1: the comedy store and Improvs in l A. So, you know,
- 2:55Speaker 1: just try I knew I was doing. I was following him,
- 2:58Speaker 1: my father's footsteps, where I was in in too much
- 3:00Speaker 1: to be a preacher. So I was like, you know what,
- 3:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna go ahead and just still try to leave
- 3:06Speaker 1: the flock. But he believed in you, you know, and uh,
- 3:10Speaker 1: you know my dad, I had an unorthodox upbringing, you know,
- 3:13Speaker 1: bounced back and forth, you know, amongst my parents and
- 3:16Speaker 1: my grandparents. But my dad always had that vision of like,
- 3:19Speaker 1: I'm raising a man and I wanted to think for
- 3:21Speaker 1: itself and show them so many things. So even at
- 3:24Speaker 1: a young age that like eleven twelve, he was like,
- 3:27Speaker 1: whatever it is that you want to do, even if
- 3:28Speaker 1: I don't really have the same beliefs, I still want
- 3:32Speaker 1: you to to strive for your your goals and reached
- 3:35Speaker 1: as much successful ventures as possible. That's important. That's that's
- 3:40Speaker 1: the relationship to vision because I was I admire you,
- 3:43Speaker 1: appreciate because of the fact that you got it at
- 3:45Speaker 1: such a young age. Yeah, you know, I was still
- 3:47Speaker 1: confused or twenty two. I was talented to do, but
- 3:50Speaker 1: I was just confused. And and the fact that you
- 3:52Speaker 1: would table to need you we all have a layer confusion.
- 3:58Speaker 1: But the fact that you said, man, eleven, this is
- 4:00Speaker 1: what I wanted to do, right, I was still trying
- 4:02Speaker 1: to play basketball. I was trying to fit in. And
- 4:04Speaker 1: I think that it's important based on the success that
- 4:07Speaker 1: you having in such an early age. So continued success
- 4:10Speaker 1: is that you made a decision to level. I'm gonna
- 4:12Speaker 1: follow this path. I enjoyed, I respected, I appreciate it.
- 4:16Speaker 1: And one thing it was my my dad always say
- 4:19Speaker 1: think outside the box. I never forget that. I mean
- 4:21Speaker 1: that was when that term was was new, and it
- 4:24Speaker 1: was like everybody else in our neighborhood or the projects
- 4:27Speaker 1: were trying to do the same things. And in comedy
- 4:29Speaker 1: was something especially at my age, that a lot of
- 4:32Speaker 1: young people weren't striving to do. Uh. It was you know,
- 4:36Speaker 1: and I did. I looked up to the likes of
- 4:39Speaker 1: our Senior Hall and Eddie Murphy and you know, all
- 4:42Speaker 1: the guys on Deaf Jam and the Living Color at
- 4:45Speaker 1: such a young age, and you know, from mimicking them
- 4:47Speaker 1: to like creating my own material. It was different from
- 4:50Speaker 1: all the kids in the neighborhood who just wanted to
- 4:52Speaker 1: be rappers. Which I wanted that as well. Yeah, but
- 4:56Speaker 1: it was but it was like, yo, it made me
- 4:58Speaker 1: stand out. So even being in the stand up club
- 5:00Speaker 1: at fifteen, I was the youngest, you know, and I
- 5:02Speaker 1: would be I would see everybody there, you know. It
- 5:04Speaker 1: was from the Chappelle's, the Tuckers, like everyone, but My
- 5:09Speaker 1: set was always unique because I was coming from a
- 5:12Speaker 1: fifteen year old perspective where everyone else was talking about
- 5:15Speaker 1: the same stuff except for me. I was thinking outside
- 5:17Speaker 1: the box and I was standing there. And because of
- 5:19Speaker 1: your youth, I'm on the phone where he's in the studio,
- 5:22Speaker 1: I apologize amazing talent. And here you see, actually studio
- 5:26Speaker 1: would be talking and Nick, when you talk about that
- 5:29Speaker 1: age advantage warming up, that was your first break. Tell
- 5:32Speaker 1: us about how that happened. They got really good launched
- 5:35Speaker 1: you because that's what people saw you as an actor.
- 5:37Speaker 1: So here's a potential start. And that's where it actually
- 5:39Speaker 1: started the fire inside of me as well, because you know,
- 5:42Speaker 1: being a stand up, being a kid, uh you know,
- 5:45Speaker 1: I would go from the comedy clubs straight to school
- 5:48Speaker 1: in the morning, uh you know, two hours away in
- 5:51Speaker 1: San Diego from l A. And then I got an
- 5:54Speaker 1: opportunity one night. Well you know there's always agents and
- 5:57Speaker 1: people in the crowd, and producers from Nickelodeon happened to
- 6:01Speaker 1: be uh in in the audience at the improv one night,
- 6:05Speaker 1: and you know, they took a meeting with me or whatever,
- 6:08Speaker 1: and they I went and saw a couple of the
- 6:09Speaker 1: shows and I saw that there was a guy entertaining
- 6:13Speaker 1: uh yeah, about four hours while you know, they're making
- 6:16Speaker 1: a television show. They got to keep the audience entertained
- 6:19Speaker 1: and informed. And I never knew what that was. Obviously,
- 6:22Speaker 1: you know today that's an audience warm up person. I
- 6:25Speaker 1: was like, but I could do that, you know. I
- 6:26Speaker 1: know I had had enough energy to kind of sustain
- 6:31Speaker 1: being up there for four hours, so I asked, you know,
- 6:33Speaker 1: I was like, hey, let me get a shot at that.
- 6:35Speaker 1: And from there, I started on Nickelodeon doing the warm
- 6:38Speaker 1: up and people were just I was entertaining in the show.
- 6:44Speaker 1: So where it got around town, I started, uh doing
- 6:47Speaker 1: it for a bunch of shows. And then, you know,
- 6:49Speaker 1: being sixteen years old, you know, being able to tell jokes,
- 6:52Speaker 1: dance rap, seeing all entertaining, well, thank you. But and
- 6:57Speaker 1: then that showed me that there was more job is
- 7:00Speaker 1: than just being in front of the camp. Uh. And
- 7:03Speaker 1: that's when I you know, got the bug for writing
- 7:05Speaker 1: as well. Because I was sitting back and I would
- 7:07Speaker 1: watch the different sitcoms or even the sketches on Nickelodeon,
- 7:10Speaker 1: and and because they were speaking to my audience, and
- 7:13Speaker 1: I was writing jokes every night I was like, yo,
- 7:15Speaker 1: I could write for this as well. And that's how
- 7:17Speaker 1: I got my first job as the youngest staff writer Intelligence.
- 7:20Speaker 1: And that was incredible because here's the deal. He was
- 7:23Speaker 1: killing it. Okay. You know, I was doing my thing
- 7:25Speaker 1: on sister sister Jamie. I think sister got sick and
- 7:33Speaker 1: that's when it because he was he was just a
- 7:35Speaker 1: bona fide talent. But the thing that carries him differently,
- 7:38Speaker 1: he's a you. A genuinely nice guy. Thank you. That
- 7:41Speaker 1: that that separates itself from anything. That's because you can
- 7:44Speaker 1: see you you You've met a lot of talent people.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I've met a lot of talents here, but your ability
- 7:50Speaker 1: to be nice, to be welcoming, it's what carries yourself
- 7:53Speaker 1: in personal life as well as professionally because on stage
- 7:56Speaker 1: you want to be a friend with. Yeah, and it's
- 7:58Speaker 1: it's it's energy. I'm a I'm an energy person. And
- 8:01Speaker 1: when I was younger, I didn't really know how to explain,
- 8:03Speaker 1: you know, but uh, you know, I was just saying
- 8:06Speaker 1: I was raised right, honestly. You know, when you walk
- 8:08Speaker 1: into a room, especially someone who's an entertainer or someone
- 8:11Speaker 1: that everyone knows, you want to feel that welcoming spirit.
- 8:14Speaker 1: You want to be able to have a smile on
- 8:17Speaker 1: your face even if it's not the greatest day, or
- 8:19Speaker 1: even if you're not there to be an entertainer. But
- 8:22Speaker 1: you gotta walk around with a good spirit and and
- 8:25Speaker 1: exude positive energy. And you know you don't you don't
- 8:28Speaker 1: have to be everybody's best friend. You yeah, yeah, so something.
- 8:32Speaker 1: So I have to balance it, and you know, and
- 8:34Speaker 1: and and you have to monitor your energy as well.
- 8:37Speaker 1: That's even in business as well. You gotta make sure
- 8:39Speaker 1: you're not uh loosely giving away your energy to things
- 8:43Speaker 1: that have uh no fruition or have no power to them.
- 8:46Speaker 1: So so in that order, I've I've been able to
- 8:49Speaker 1: balance that pretty well to where I'm always kind. I'm
- 8:52Speaker 1: always trying to be a pleasing individual. But you know,
- 8:56Speaker 1: you gotta be stern. You gotta be a businessman. And
- 8:59Speaker 1: that's the fun part about you. And you made those decisions,
- 9:02Speaker 1: you know, being a chairman, being a producer, being an EP,
- 9:05Speaker 1: being a writer. Because in the end, because you have
- 9:07Speaker 1: a group of friends. I always calling you like the
- 9:09Speaker 1: lebron of You have a crew of people that have
- 9:13Speaker 1: been with you for a long time. You know what
- 9:15Speaker 1: I'm saying, like Lebron from the day, you know, I
- 9:18Speaker 1: ran it too. I was so fun when I came
- 9:19Speaker 1: by the wild and I tap it. It was like
- 9:21Speaker 1: a memory lane. When they woke up, I was like, wow,
- 9:25Speaker 1: you still well it was Nils and all that. That's crew, man,
- 9:29Speaker 1: It's so important, and I think that keeps you grounded
- 9:32Speaker 1: as well, right, absolutely, man, I like to dance with
- 9:35Speaker 1: the people I came to the party with, you know.
- 9:37Speaker 1: And that's the idea of to me, that's truly what
- 9:40Speaker 1: success is all about, when you can share it with
- 9:42Speaker 1: people who knew you when you didn't have anything. And
- 9:46Speaker 1: and you know, I got the same manager from that.
- 9:48Speaker 1: The people who saw me in the inpro still with
- 9:50Speaker 1: me to this day. I mean, and you even speak
- 9:53Speaker 1: of people who you know, we're like this my writing
- 9:55Speaker 1: partners there now showrunners right right. And actually I learned
- 9:59Speaker 1: that from you. I learned that watching and seeing how
- 10:02Speaker 1: the camaraderie that you guys all had coming up and
- 10:05Speaker 1: I was like, yo, I want to be able to
- 10:06Speaker 1: do that, And ten are you're doing it very very
- 10:08Speaker 1: well on the on the phone or interviews. So many
- 10:11Speaker 1: people on the phone didn't. You can be actually studio.
- 10:13Speaker 1: He's in studio, Nick Cannon. Last time he was on
- 10:15Speaker 1: the phone, we'll be back with more wild thing Out.
- 10:19Speaker 1: That's the Beast, along with the Wild and restaurants along
- 10:22Speaker 1: with the Wild, and that tour Wild and along with
- 10:25Speaker 1: I hear you had the album all that. We keep
- 10:28Speaker 1: it going, If we keep it going at radio radio,
- 10:31Speaker 1: we were back with more money making conversations. Keep winning,
- 10:33Speaker 1: everybody to keep winning. Hi, Rashan McDonald back with money
- 10:39Speaker 1: making conversation. My guests in studio has entertained audiences and film, radio, music, television,
- 10:45Speaker 1: on stage and online for nearly twenty years. From drum
- 10:48Speaker 1: Line to Wilding Out. Here's what I call it true.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Renaudsance Man appreciate, you know, just talking about what's the upcoming,
- 10:56Speaker 1: the future and the present of Nick Cannon Wilding Out.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Let me just get a little history on that. I
- 11:02Speaker 1: went to the very first tap in the Wilding Out.
- 11:04Speaker 1: The idea was people pushed back on the idea. Yeah,
- 11:08Speaker 1: you took me there to reach out to look at it,
- 11:10Speaker 1: look at what I've done, and to see we're walking
- 11:13Speaker 1: in Atlanta, Georgia branding as I walked in Brandon on
- 11:16Speaker 1: the Wall branding on the behind the bar, branding on
- 11:20Speaker 1: the pool table, branding on everywhere. It was it was
- 11:24Speaker 1: Nick Cannon and that's your production. It Cannon presents. Yes,
- 11:29Speaker 1: you know, the Wilding Out models coming out everybody. It
- 11:32Speaker 1: was very organized for a young man. Yeah, impressive, Thank you, sir.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Tell us about that brand, and tell us about the
- 11:40Speaker 1: future wild and Out. Really trying to diversify the brand
- 11:44Speaker 1: more than anything, I tap into it and see how
- 11:46Speaker 1: many verticals I can get out of it. When I
- 11:48Speaker 1: first created it, I knew it was I wasn't calling
- 11:51Speaker 1: it a brand name, but I knew it was more
- 11:53Speaker 1: of the culture. And I hadn't really seen it since
- 11:57Speaker 1: the Deaf Jam days to where someone actually could put
- 12:01Speaker 1: it out there in a way where people would want
- 12:03Speaker 1: to wear T shirts, people would want to go see
- 12:06Speaker 1: a live show people, and you could put it on
- 12:08Speaker 1: on any platform and would actually still succeed. And because
- 12:12Speaker 1: we started in a comedy club, you know, I rented out.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Uh what club was that? The Comedy Union? Yeah, and uh,
- 12:23Speaker 1: you know we we got that. I got some cameras together,
- 12:26Speaker 1: got some friends that you know, we weren't as known
- 12:29Speaker 1: back then, like Kevin Hard and Cat Williams and you know,
- 12:32Speaker 1: all of those guys and everybody just came together. I
- 12:35Speaker 1: was like, Yo, this is this is something really cool.
- 12:38Speaker 1: And from there, I knew it could be improv school.
- 12:41Speaker 1: I knew it could be a live stage show. I
- 12:43Speaker 1: knew it could be a television show. I knew it
- 12:45Speaker 1: could be a board game. And I saw all of
- 12:47Speaker 1: this back then, and now I'm actually getting those opportunities
- 12:50Speaker 1: to bring those things to pass. And you know, um
- 12:53Speaker 1: learning this this touring game. I mean, we're going out
- 12:55Speaker 1: our second time. This time we're going out with a
- 12:57Speaker 1: g to all the arenas. Yeah, live nation. We're going
- 13:02Speaker 1: all across the country on a thirty city tour, uh,
- 13:05Speaker 1: starting at the end of the summer. And you know,
- 13:07Speaker 1: it's funny. One of the first comedy tours, the first
- 13:10Speaker 1: time I was ever officially even really on tour, it
- 13:13Speaker 1: was you took me out. We we did that. It
- 13:16Speaker 1: was it was a short run, but we had we
- 13:18Speaker 1: had some good sponsors and and we took some young
- 13:20Speaker 1: people out on out on the road. And I remember
- 13:23Speaker 1: at the time it was like myself a little j J.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Actually now I just put back on wilding out just
- 13:29Speaker 1: now asked me, now produce on the show. Have you
- 13:32Speaker 1: seen j J. Yeah, yeah, he on the show. Like so,
- 13:35Speaker 1: but to say, like you showed me the ropes on
- 13:37Speaker 1: a lot of this, especially when it comes to the
- 13:39Speaker 1: live shows and you know all the things that you know,
- 13:41Speaker 1: you produced and put forth, uh for our community. Early on,
- 13:45Speaker 1: I was just learning, man, and so now to be
- 13:47Speaker 1: able to sit here and say, you know, I'm doing
- 13:49Speaker 1: the same thing and giving other young people opportunities to
- 13:52Speaker 1: show their skill sets and talent as an outstanding, it's
- 13:54Speaker 1: really interesting because you know when I came to the
- 13:56Speaker 1: tape and I came like Roushan was suited. Yeah, and
- 14:00Speaker 1: it's so funny and it's so funny. I walked in
- 14:02Speaker 1: and uh it was with a Dale conversation and as
- 14:07Speaker 1: we were as he was walking up, then they looked
- 14:09Speaker 1: behind they see me. They go, come on, come on,
- 14:10Speaker 1: come on, like like I owned the building. Different it's
- 14:15Speaker 1: a different culture. And it's just like that comment when
- 14:17Speaker 1: I did in two. So I really know that it's
- 14:20Speaker 1: special now. But you're taking this to the restaurant world. Yes,
- 14:23Speaker 1: that's exciting. I mean it's it's challenging. Uh, it's definitely challenging,
- 14:29Speaker 1: but it's a whole new world when you get into
- 14:32Speaker 1: the food and beverage game. Uh, there's there's different rules.
- 14:35Speaker 1: And we opened our first restaurant Memorial Day weekend in
- 14:40Speaker 1: uh Miami right on South Beach, and it was it's
- 14:44Speaker 1: continuing to be extremely successful. Our next one is in
- 14:47Speaker 1: San Diego, California my hometime, and then we're gonna do
- 14:50Speaker 1: Los Angeles, Atlanta, UH Vegas, New York and probably have
- 14:54Speaker 1: a half a dozen open before the end of the year.
- 14:57Speaker 1: And it's it's a it's a whole new game. I mean,
- 14:59Speaker 1: but I'm watching and David Busters, I've seen Hooters, I've
- 15:02Speaker 1: seen all of these different um restaurants who tap into
- 15:06Speaker 1: a market and they just they printing money, man, And
- 15:08Speaker 1: there's nothing men specifically catered to our community, you know,
- 15:12Speaker 1: or whether we want to call it the hip hop
- 15:14Speaker 1: culture of the African American community, to where you can
- 15:17Speaker 1: go in and watch a game, have a good time,
- 15:19Speaker 1: play video games, all this stuff that but you feel
- 15:22Speaker 1: at home. You feel and it's and it's to a
- 15:24Speaker 1: brand that you recognize, that you can embrace, that welcomes everyone.
- 15:27Speaker 1: But it speaks our language. And I love the fact
- 15:29Speaker 1: that you you compared it to David Buster type because
- 15:32Speaker 1: that's really what it is. Great food, Uh, kind of
- 15:35Speaker 1: like a playland atmosphere and and but just but everybody
- 15:39Speaker 1: in there looks like you in the sense of that culture.
- 15:42Speaker 1: I'm glad you did. I'm glad you you would to
- 15:44Speaker 1: say the hip hop because hip hop covers everybody, his
- 15:47Speaker 1: every white African Americans. Uh, it's a language. It's a language.
- 15:51Speaker 1: It's a language is so very powerful that that there's
- 15:54Speaker 1: now it's taken over. You know, you're taking advantage of
- 15:56Speaker 1: that now. So I love that fact. So so with
- 15:59Speaker 1: that said, how does the tour work? How does that wild?
- 16:01Speaker 1: And is Nick kind of going to be at every
- 16:03Speaker 1: tour day? That will be at every tour date? Uh? Yeah, would?
- 16:09Speaker 1: I would definitely be there. We did. We did about
- 16:11Speaker 1: twenty dates last year and we learned so much. We
- 16:16Speaker 1: are taking up learning from your, learning from you. Uh.
- 16:21Speaker 1: But you know what, it's it's as much as you
- 16:23Speaker 1: get when you watch the twenty two minutes show at home.
- 16:27Speaker 1: But now we're gonna give you an hour and a
- 16:28Speaker 1: half of entertainment. So we bring two of your favorite
- 16:31Speaker 1: rappers you know that you love. The last we had
- 16:34Speaker 1: Rick Ross and your body Walk a flock a bunch
- 16:37Speaker 1: of people came on toward its so we we're bringing
- 16:40Speaker 1: the hottest guys with this. One opens the show and
- 16:42Speaker 1: one closes the show, and then between you get four
- 16:44Speaker 1: stand up comics as well as the games that you
- 16:46Speaker 1: see on Wilding Out. So we bring the crowd up
- 16:49Speaker 1: and we played the family reunion games, the rap Battle,
- 16:52Speaker 1: Wilding Out Wild style games, so we do all of that,
- 16:54Speaker 1: so you feel like you're extremely fulfilled. You see the
- 16:57Speaker 1: Wilding Out girls, you get you're gonna do the low
- 17:00Speaker 1: market searchers for the wild and Not girls and see
- 17:02Speaker 1: you on top of every city. And it's funny like
- 17:06Speaker 1: half of the young ladies that are on the show
- 17:08Speaker 1: now we found on the tour last year. Keep our word.
- 17:11Speaker 1: We come to the town. We allowed the crowd in
- 17:13Speaker 1: the in the hometown to move for the girls that
- 17:15Speaker 1: they feel like they want to see on the show,
- 17:18Speaker 1: and it makes everyone feel part of it. We bring
- 17:21Speaker 1: the community to the show and the show to the community.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I don't know if you've ever been to a Universal
- 17:25Speaker 1: Soul service. Yes, you know, it's that energy, It's that music,
- 17:28Speaker 1: is that feeling, is that family and it's so close. Yeah,
- 17:31Speaker 1: it's so close that when I was watching, I go, wow,
- 17:33Speaker 1: it's that field which is really which means that you
- 17:36Speaker 1: you you're combined so many fantastic entertainment elements and you
- 17:40Speaker 1: can't bring masters over here. And that's what that's what
- 17:45Speaker 1: that's so amazing. So so so when you come to
- 17:47Speaker 1: the cities, you do recruit or you do model searchers
- 17:50Speaker 1: localizes it. We might give the opportunity a lot of
- 17:53Speaker 1: times if there's strong comedians in the in the in
- 17:56Speaker 1: the market. Yeah. Yeah, And we tapped in with the
- 17:58Speaker 1: radio stations as well, and is you know, give them
- 18:01Speaker 1: the opportunity to to showcase their talent and and and
- 18:04Speaker 1: while and out is built for that. It's built for
- 18:06Speaker 1: you know, somebody may not have a five to ten
- 18:08Speaker 1: minutes set that they can rock in an arena. This
- 18:11Speaker 1: is a crazy part. I'm watching the taping right and
- 18:13Speaker 1: and my old hand going, I can get out there. Yeah,
- 18:19Speaker 1: I gotta bore you to keep your right down. Everybody
- 18:22Speaker 1: got a good joke or to get in there and
- 18:25Speaker 1: have fun. So I think that's the energy we want
- 18:27Speaker 1: to bring across with the tour as well. So you
- 18:29Speaker 1: mentioned radio, Yes, I gotta get you back on radio.
- 18:32Speaker 1: I'm ready I'm ready. It's funny. I I did mornings
- 18:36Speaker 1: for again going the first time I even stepped into
- 18:39Speaker 1: it was you know, you guys gave me the opportunity
- 18:41Speaker 1: when when when Steve would have a day office and
- 18:48Speaker 1: I got excited. I was like, man, I can really
- 18:50Speaker 1: do this. And you know, a couple of years later,
- 18:51Speaker 1: I had my own morning show in New York, you know,
- 18:53Speaker 1: number one market. You know I was, I was going,
- 18:56Speaker 1: you know, and it wasn't even I actually stepped in
- 18:59Speaker 1: to rest your to wrest a radio on the mainstream.
- 19:03Speaker 1: That's what I loved about you you know, it wasn't
- 19:05Speaker 1: an urban platform. Yeah. And and to be able to
- 19:08Speaker 1: do it, I think now I'm gonna come back and
- 19:09Speaker 1: actually go for our people with with some wilding out
- 19:12Speaker 1: more than radio. We're gonna get back to it. And
- 19:14Speaker 1: that's important because please do that first for your voices
- 19:17Speaker 1: need it. If there's a there's a big other than
- 19:19Speaker 1: the Breakfast Club, there's no one else doing this. You know,
- 19:23Speaker 1: you have the Steves, you have the Tom Jones, you
- 19:25Speaker 1: have the Russ Paul. That's a that's an age group
- 19:28Speaker 1: that's plus fifty. Yeah, so there's there needs to be
- 19:30Speaker 1: another competitive voice to wrest a radio and your voices needed.
- 19:34Speaker 1: I love the fact that you would never button down
- 19:37Speaker 1: and say I'm an urban bosce. For the people that
- 19:40Speaker 1: shows in your show Wild and Out, please come back home.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Every time I'm feeling, you feed me. So I appreciate it,
- 19:49Speaker 1: and that's really important that your brand. So, so, where's
- 19:51Speaker 1: the brand going now with the voice, because sometimes you
- 19:54Speaker 1: step away and you're an activist and I love that
- 19:56Speaker 1: about you. I was about to say, it's all about
- 19:57Speaker 1: the community. For me, it's about giving other people out
- 19:59Speaker 1: for tunities. Uh. It's about opening doors and sharing the knowledge,
- 20:03Speaker 1: wealth and wisdom that I've obtained with everyone else. I mean,
- 20:06Speaker 1: you know, obviously I'm still in school. Hopefully you know
- 20:09Speaker 1: I'll be able to you know, h you our university.
- 20:12Speaker 1: I want to go all the way I'm getting my masters,
- 20:14Speaker 1: want to go to my doctorate and eventually be a professor.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Uh and and teach the things that I've I've picked
- 20:21Speaker 1: up along the way. But it's all about the community,
- 20:24Speaker 1: whether it's teaching, whether it's entertaining, whether it's investing into us.
- 20:29Speaker 1: That's what it's really about. You're already a professor, already
- 20:32Speaker 1: got your PhD. So you will get that degree. You
- 20:35Speaker 1: may not do the whole four year run, but they
- 20:37Speaker 1: will give it to you because you're always Your experience
- 20:39Speaker 1: and your academic training in life will pay off for
- 20:42Speaker 1: a student just by sitting down and listen to you.
- 20:44Speaker 1: And I want to thank you for coming on the show, brother,
- 20:46Speaker 1: oh Man, I appreciate you. Hey, brother again, keep winning,
- 20:50Speaker 1: keep up living in the community. Like when you do that,
- 20:53Speaker 1: when you step out and do that, man, I smile
- 20:55Speaker 1: even bigger than watching you and wild and out appreciate it. Man.
