  into God's Word together. In Mark chapter 6, we see Jesus
• 0:46
  giving authority to his disciples and sending them out
• 0:49
  in pairs to do ministry in the nearby areas.

  Grasp the big picture of what's happening here.

  Jesus ministry does not stop with him.
• 0:58
  Jesus is not teaching His disciples things they need to
• 1:00
  know. He's equipping them to carry out
• 1:03
  his ministry. And so it is with us.

  If we have been saved, if we've been redeemed by Jesus and are
• 1:10
  followers of Christ, then we have been sent.
• 1:13
  We've been commissioned to learn and live the ministry of Jesus
• 1:17
  in the world. Listen to the way Paul describes
• 1:20
  this reality in 2nd Corinthians 517 and 18.

  He says, therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he's a new creature.

  The old things passed away. Behold, new things have come.
• 1:32
  Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to
• 1:35
  himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of
• 1:39
  reconciliation. So if we've been made new by
• 1:42
  Christ, if we've been reconciled to God through Jesus, the
• 1:47
  journey has not ended. Rather, if we've been reconciled
• 1:51
  to God, then we have been entrusted with the ministry of
• 1:54
  reconciliation. We've become one of Christ's
• 1:57
  agents in the world, proclaiming the message of Jesus and
• 2:01
  entreating the world to be reconciled to God through
• 2:03
  Christ. And if you're in Christ, stop
• 2:08
  and recognize that you met Jesus because someone showed him to
• 2:12
  you. You know God because one of
• 2:14
  Christ's agents of reconciliation in the world told
• 2:18
  you how you could be made right with God.
• 2:20
  We are products of the reality that ministry does not stop with
• 2:23
  us, that discipleship is not stagnant, but rather it's
• 2:28
  multiplying. So take up this mantle today.
• 2:31
  Live out God's call on your life to go and make disciples.
• 2:36
  Live out your responsibility and role as a minister of
• 2:39
  Reconciliation and call others to do the same.
