- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things in the stubing not good at together
- 0:27Speaker 1: for I don't join Jo. You gotta turn keep ring
- 1:10Speaker 1: you're going to do? You are? You gotta turn to
- 1:41Speaker 1: turn them out? Turn? You haven't got to turn them out?
- 1:45Speaker 1: Then turn the water the water got come? Come on
- 1:58Speaker 1: your bad uh huh, I shall will. Good morning everybody,
- 2:05Speaker 1: y'all listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:09Speaker 1: one and only Steve Varvy got a radio show. Man,
- 2:12Speaker 1: old Man. Old Man symbolizes just one thing to me. Man,
- 2:16Speaker 1: It's just a constant remind of exactly how good God
- 2:19Speaker 1: has been to me over the years. And I thank
- 2:21Speaker 1: him for it too, because I realize every day that
- 2:24Speaker 1: I wake up that I would be nothing without him.
- 2:27Speaker 1: That everything I am that's any good in me, I
- 2:31Speaker 1: owe to him. Now. Have I made some mistakes along
- 2:34Speaker 1: the way, yep, bunches, bunches and bunches. And will I
- 2:39Speaker 1: continue to make mistakes along the way yep? Not as many,
- 2:45Speaker 1: hopefully as I have in the past, because a lot
- 2:48Speaker 1: of stuff I know better now. But you're still going
- 2:52Speaker 1: to make mistakes. Now. You know, hopefully I've limited the
- 2:57Speaker 1: amount of intentional errors in my life. I've wiped quite
- 3:02Speaker 1: a few of those out. But from time to time,
- 3:05Speaker 1: because we're human, we're going to make a mistake every
- 3:08Speaker 1: now and then. The trick what it is, y'all, it's
- 3:11Speaker 1: not to let the devil deceive you into thinking that
- 3:14Speaker 1: once you make that mistake that that's it. You can't
- 3:16Speaker 1: do it. You're falling off the wagon. You can't reboard it.
- 3:21Speaker 1: That's the biggest trick that he uses. He makes you
- 3:24Speaker 1: think that if you keep stumbling, that you can't run
- 3:30Speaker 1: the race. It kind of reminds me of a marathon runner.
- 3:36Speaker 1: From time to time I watch him on TV, and
- 3:39Speaker 1: you'll see some people who finish the race, you know,
- 3:44Speaker 1: in a in a nice pace. You see people finish
- 3:47Speaker 1: the race sprinting towards the finished line. But every now
- 3:51Speaker 1: and then you'll watch a marathon and you'll see a
- 3:55Speaker 1: runner and the runner is in really, really bad shape.
- 4:02Speaker 1: The key is they finish the race. See, you don't
- 4:07Speaker 1: get disqualified in the marathon because you stumble, You don't.
- 4:13Speaker 1: They don't. They don't take your opportunity to finish the
- 4:18Speaker 1: race because you keep falling, that's not the key. The
- 4:23Speaker 1: key is finishing. And a lot of times what the
- 4:26Speaker 1: devil does is he makes you think that because you
- 4:29Speaker 1: keep stumbling, because you're swaying from side to side, that
- 4:34Speaker 1: you know you out the race. Well, that's not the case.
- 4:38Speaker 1: And see and then this thing called life, let me
- 4:40Speaker 1: help you understand something. Everybody falls. Nobody sprints to the
- 4:44Speaker 1: tape in this one. Nobody just runs free and clear
- 4:49Speaker 1: as some people running faster than you and all like this.
- 4:52Speaker 1: And some people gonna get to the end before you
- 4:54Speaker 1: let them go ahead. And when the end come, the
- 4:56Speaker 1: end come. I ain't in the rush to get to
- 4:58Speaker 1: the end. But in this race, though, when you're stumbling
- 5:02Speaker 1: and you're falling, it's a part of it. No one
- 5:05Speaker 1: gets through this race without stumbling and falling, swaying from
- 5:09Speaker 1: side to side. So don't let the enemy deceive you
- 5:13Speaker 1: into thinking that it's over. I try to be encouraging
- 5:18Speaker 1: to people because I don't want people to get stuck
- 5:22Speaker 1: on this thing, you know. And my walk is very
- 5:25Speaker 1: different from a lot of people's walks. And then I
- 5:27Speaker 1: know a lot of people who walking in faith the
- 5:29Speaker 1: way I'm walking in faith. But my thing in the
- 5:32Speaker 1: morning is just to remind those that is not a
- 5:35Speaker 1: perfect walk man, that it's not something that's set up
- 5:39Speaker 1: where you're gonna be skipping through life scott free without
- 5:44Speaker 1: any pitfalls. You know, I keep saying it over and
- 5:46Speaker 1: over and over again because, like I said, when I
- 5:48Speaker 1: was in DC, my boy Hondo said this to me,
- 5:52Speaker 1: and it just kind of stuck with me that the
- 5:54Speaker 1: road to construct, the road to successes always under construction.
- 5:59Speaker 1: You have to figure and count on the setbacks and
- 6:03Speaker 1: the pitfalls. But it's those people that that that that
- 6:08Speaker 1: fight through will be the victors in the end. You
- 6:11Speaker 1: cannot give up, man, Stop going somewhere sitting down. Every
- 6:16Speaker 1: time something goes down. It's going to go down. It's
- 6:20Speaker 1: a part of it. It's going to happen. It's going
- 6:23Speaker 1: to occur that are going to be setbacks. If you
- 6:27Speaker 1: go and sit down every time there's a setback, that's
- 6:31Speaker 1: not how this works. It is designed that way. If
- 6:35Speaker 1: success were easy, everybody would be successful. But success is
- 6:41Speaker 1: just reserved for those who are willing to fight through,
- 6:45Speaker 1: who refuse to settle for mediocrity, who wants something more. Now,
- 6:50Speaker 1: don't get me wrong. Success is defined by each individual.
- 6:55Speaker 1: So what I may consider to be successful, you may
- 6:58Speaker 1: not consider that. You know what Bill Gates considers successful.
- 7:02Speaker 1: I might not consider what Michael Jordan considers successful. I
- 7:07Speaker 1: might not consider what you consider successful. Your boss might
- 7:11Speaker 1: not consider. You have to define what that is for yourself.
- 7:15Speaker 1: It may not be monetary at all. You know, your
- 7:19Speaker 1: level of success could be tied up in community service.
- 7:22Speaker 1: It could be tied up in family. It could be
- 7:25Speaker 1: tied up into church. Your level of success could be
- 7:28Speaker 1: tied up into boys clubs. It could be any number
- 7:32Speaker 1: of things. Whatever your level of success is, you have
- 7:36Speaker 1: to determine what that is you and the best way
- 7:38Speaker 1: to determine that is to get in touch with your maker,
- 7:43Speaker 1: who created you, to find out what your mission and
- 7:47Speaker 1: your purpose is so he can put you on track.
- 7:50Speaker 1: I just had this conversation with my son and we
- 7:53Speaker 1: were talking about getting on the path that God has
- 7:57Speaker 1: set up for you. So many times we find ourselves
- 8:01Speaker 1: fighting through life because of so much uncertainty, because we
- 8:05Speaker 1: have no idea where we're headed. It's like one of
- 8:10Speaker 1: my own sayings that I have at my mentoring camp
- 8:15Speaker 1: for boys is is that a boy without a male
- 8:19Speaker 1: role model is like an explorer without a map. See
- 8:25Speaker 1: if you don't have a map laid out in front
- 8:29Speaker 1: of you of where you're going when you wake up
- 8:32Speaker 1: every day, that pretty much explains the feeling of confusion,
- 8:38Speaker 1: the laxadaisical attitude, the lack of purpose, to not understanding
- 8:45Speaker 1: your mission because you don't have not gotten in touch
- 8:50Speaker 1: with your creator to find out exactly what your path
- 8:54Speaker 1: in life is. What are you supposed to be doing?
- 8:57Speaker 1: The moment you can identify that is the moment that
- 9:01Speaker 1: you get started waking up with purpose, with the sense
- 9:05Speaker 1: of direction. When you kill the sense of I don't
- 9:08Speaker 1: know what's next or what to do. Now, there's going
- 9:11Speaker 1: to be some confusing moments no matter what happened, it's
- 9:14Speaker 1: going to be some uncertainty, but at least you'll know
- 9:16Speaker 1: where you're going. So if you're tied a waking up
- 9:19Speaker 1: feeling loss, abandon confused, don't know what to do, don't
- 9:24Speaker 1: know what you're supposed to be doing, refer back to
- 9:29Speaker 1: your makeup. Because when he created you, he had a
- 9:33Speaker 1: plan for you. When he created you, he had a
- 9:36Speaker 1: path for you. Now we've made some decisions to get
- 9:40Speaker 1: off of both of those, the mission and the path
- 9:43Speaker 1: but God can get you right back on track. Do
- 9:47Speaker 1: that today, asking what you're supposed to be doing and listen.
- 9:52Speaker 1: God has all the answers if you form the relationship. Okay,
- 9:57Speaker 1: you're ladies and gentlemen, it is upon us a new day.
- 10:04Speaker 1: To Steve Harvey Morning Show. We are here grateful, full
- 10:08Speaker 1: of joy, but mostly gratitude, thanking him for another day,
- 10:13Speaker 1: another opportunity, another shot. Come on, man, I shall appreciate
- 10:17Speaker 1: the shot. The one and only Charley Strawberry, the Fabulous
- 10:20Speaker 1: Calling Farrel, the loud, the resulior mouth of the South Mississippi, Monica,
- 10:26Speaker 1: and Junior. This is whatever you Okay, this is tickling
- 10:34Speaker 1: you man? What's tickling me? J man? You know I've
- 10:37Speaker 1: been married five days and here you is just it
- 10:40Speaker 1: is just I mean, come on, I need help. I
- 10:43Speaker 1: don't need Joe laughter. I need help. I got five
- 10:46Speaker 1: days then and need help. Yeah boy, this is good.
- 10:54Speaker 1: I'm telling you I was married now, yeah, Drew speed
- 11:00Speaker 1: out with. First of all, I'm struggling, like, what's the
- 11:03Speaker 1: first thing I'm supposed to be doing. I don't even know.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Okay you ready, yeah everything, Wait a minute, Wait a minute,
- 11:17Speaker 1: I was supposed to be doing I know your little
- 11:19Speaker 1: dumb ass, don't think it's just one thing. I know
- 11:24Speaker 1: you ain't got into this trying to figure out what
- 11:26Speaker 1: did one thing you need to do? You know what
- 11:31Speaker 1: that one thing is? No, Like I don't even know
- 11:34Speaker 1: what to do first, like I look at him. Then
- 11:36Speaker 1: I don't do nothing. I don't even know what I'm
- 11:37Speaker 1: supposed to be doing. Everything we get to do it, Charlotte,
- 11:43Speaker 1: don't sit there in that clay. I'm telling you, I'm
- 11:46Speaker 1: just worried about it. That ain't right. Everything example, though
- 11:51Speaker 1: you saying everything, he doesn't know what that is. Steve.
- 11:54Speaker 1: First of all, you got to greet her in the morning.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Then you gotta make her feel beautiful. Then you gotta
- 12:00Speaker 1: make her feel appreciate. Then you gotta make her feel wanted.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Then you gotta be of summer sistance. Yes, help her
- 12:10Speaker 1: get her day started. Damn your day, my day, don't
- 12:15Speaker 1: even count them them. Well, let me think it's two
- 12:17Speaker 1: places in this range. It's first place and it's last.
- 12:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna be in last place. You ain't ever in first?
- 12:25Speaker 1: Who you better minute stuff in here? Yeah? I love
- 12:29Speaker 1: Steve's marriage rule. Oh God, say you ain't ever if
- 12:33Speaker 1: first Okay, if this ain't what you want, just don't
- 12:37Speaker 1: sign up for this right here. See that's problem with
- 12:39Speaker 1: young men though. Young men want to sign up for
- 12:42Speaker 1: another arrangement. I don't know who told these foods that
- 12:45Speaker 1: marriage is fifty fifty. It's not. It is not fifty fifty,
- 12:49Speaker 1: it's eighty five fifteen. And your ass got the fifteen
- 12:55Speaker 1: and get over there, and like you know that little
- 12:59Speaker 1: workstation you had right now zooming on your radio show, right,
- 13:02Speaker 1: that's now your area, your man cave, your office. This
- 13:09Speaker 1: is all I got, just fifteen going in and lay
- 13:14Speaker 1: claim to something else. Let me ask you something, June.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Were your stuff at in the bathroom on one side? Uh?
- 13:22Speaker 1: In a corner, in a corner, Yeah, packed in tight.
- 13:25Speaker 1: She got all the rest of the counterspace everything. Yeah,
- 13:29Speaker 1: that's fifteen. You got fifteen percent of that counterspace too.
- 13:34Speaker 1: All right, Hang on, Junior, hang on. Coming up in
- 13:38Speaker 1: thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll run that frank
- 13:40Speaker 1: back with Junior in for the nephew. Right after this
- 13:44Speaker 1: you're listening to show, it is time now to start
- 13:48Speaker 1: your morning off with the nephew who is not here,
- 13:51Speaker 1: but Junior is. And it's time to run that prank
- 13:54Speaker 1: back what you got, Junior? Your check bounced? Your check bounced?
- 14:00Speaker 1: Come on, hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach a Monica system.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Monica Please, who's calling? This is Brother de Sean. I'm calling.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Actually I'm a member Greater Commissionary Baptist Church. How can
- 14:13Speaker 1: I help you? Calling you? Actually about the offering? Now?
- 14:16Speaker 1: Did you? I know you paid your ties every Sunday? Okay?
- 14:20Speaker 1: Now you paid a love offering as well? Right? Yes?
- 14:23Speaker 1: I do? Okay, Now this past Sunday. I'm looking at
- 14:27Speaker 1: a check that you left us with the bank, right right,
- 14:31Speaker 1: I sure did. I wrote a check Sunday. Okay. Now
- 14:33Speaker 1: the check, ma'am was two hundred and fifty dollars? Am
- 14:38Speaker 1: I correct? Right? Right? I wrote two checks for my
- 14:40Speaker 1: ties and the love offering? Right? I wrote one for
- 14:43Speaker 1: two fifty for the love offering? Okay? Now what is
- 14:46Speaker 1: this call regarding? Why are you calling me? What I
- 14:49Speaker 1: wanted to tell you is that I hate to be
- 14:51Speaker 1: a bar of bad news. But your check that you
- 14:54Speaker 1: wrote for two fifty actually has bounced. And wait a minute,
- 14:59Speaker 1: you say, in my check bounce for two hundred and
- 15:01Speaker 1: fifty dollars. Your check bounce. So what I'm doing is
- 15:04Speaker 1: calling you about recouping the two fifth as well as
- 15:08Speaker 1: you know you you cost us thirty dollars uh in
- 15:12Speaker 1: bank fees. But wait a minute, now, I wrote two checks.
- 15:15Speaker 1: I wrote a check for one hundred dollars. Did that
- 15:17Speaker 1: one bounce? I don't see to it that that that
- 15:20Speaker 1: one bounced. All I know is the one that the
- 15:21Speaker 1: love offering has bounced. What did you put them in
- 15:24Speaker 1: at the same time? Because I wrote them at the
- 15:25Speaker 1: same time. They all go in on Monday, ma'am. Now
- 15:29Speaker 1: I didn't put them in at the same time. I've
- 15:30Speaker 1: been putting them in for the last two or three years.
- 15:32Speaker 1: The problem is why would people write there, what is
- 15:35Speaker 1: your name? M brother Deshaun? And you was at it Sunday?
- 15:38Speaker 1: I was. I don't think it matters. And when I
- 15:40Speaker 1: was there, man, the problem is it that I didn't
- 15:42Speaker 1: put these checks in. And I don't understand why y'all
- 15:45Speaker 1: write these checks to the track knowing that they're gonna
- 15:49Speaker 1: because a lot of people right that good well not
- 15:52Speaker 1: checks one clear? Why the other one didn't clear? Maybe
- 15:55Speaker 1: you didn't have enough money for both of them to clear.
- 15:57Speaker 1: What What did you just say? Maybe you didn't have
- 16:01Speaker 1: enough money in the bank for both of them to
- 16:02Speaker 1: clar I don't understand why people write the planning money
- 16:04Speaker 1: in the bank at all. My checks clear. I don't
- 16:07Speaker 1: write no rubber checks. Well, you wrote one on Sunday,
- 16:10Speaker 1: and that's the problem. How are you gonna try to
- 16:12Speaker 1: give a look you wait a minute. I think you
- 16:14Speaker 1: got me confused with somebody else. I don't write no
- 16:17Speaker 1: bad checks. You didn't wrote that to be nice to you.
- 16:19Speaker 1: I'm trying to be nice to you. Win. Can we
- 16:21Speaker 1: expect the two fifty plus the thirty dollars? So thirty
- 16:25Speaker 1: dollars that's the bank feeds man for the dog gonna
- 16:27Speaker 1: check bouncing. My check didn't bounce. I don't check my bank.
- 16:31Speaker 1: And if my check clear, you're gonna pay me thirty
- 16:33Speaker 1: dollars for calling me harassing me about a two hundred
- 16:36Speaker 1: and fifty dollar check bounce. I don't write no Why
- 16:39Speaker 1: would you write check? What? You want to sit up
- 16:41Speaker 1: in the church and write these big number checks when
- 16:43Speaker 1: you know you ain't got it in the bank. What
- 16:46Speaker 1: did you say? I said, why would you write these
- 16:48Speaker 1: checks when the money ain't in Now, let me tell
- 16:51Speaker 1: you that's one thing. I don't write no bad checks.
- 16:55Speaker 1: And you got a lots calling me telling me my
- 16:57Speaker 1: check bounce. Y'all check is the one that has bounce.
- 17:00Speaker 1: And you tell you what you do since my check bounce,
- 17:03Speaker 1: you paid them, since you got all the money, And
- 17:05Speaker 1: don't call me with this again. Hello, don't you hang
- 17:11Speaker 1: up on me no more? Why don't we gonna get
- 17:13Speaker 1: this two fifty and this thirty dollars? Somebody from the
- 17:18Speaker 1: church to my I wrote a bad check? I write
- 17:20Speaker 1: you did write a bad check. I didn't write no
- 17:23Speaker 1: bad Yes you didnt. Why are you calling me? Why
- 17:26Speaker 1: the treasure? Don't call me at church? The treasure is business.
- 17:30Speaker 1: I ain't never know the deacon called nobody about no
- 17:32Speaker 1: bad check. You're fully thank you you got the money
- 17:38Speaker 1: I ain't got. Who in the hell is that in
- 17:40Speaker 1: the background? Who is that a mind? Who it is?
- 17:42Speaker 1: We're both going to the same church and you're gonna
- 17:45Speaker 1: call me to my I wrote a bad check. You
- 17:47Speaker 1: don't you call me no more? And if the check bads,
- 17:50Speaker 1: you paid? Okay? Passed to know you talking like this?
- 17:53Speaker 1: Do pass to no you calling me? Can you ask
- 17:55Speaker 1: for that? Look? When are we gonna get this two
- 17:58Speaker 1: hundred and eighty dollars is what we fun from you.
- 18:00Speaker 1: I wrote a check for two fifty and not get
- 18:03Speaker 1: two eighty. You put thirty dollars with it. You put
- 18:06Speaker 1: two fifty in there. It bounced. Thirty dollars cost us
- 18:10Speaker 1: on bake fees. That's two eighty. Where can the church
- 18:13Speaker 1: expect their money? Never? Not no two eighty. You will
- 18:17Speaker 1: never get to eighty. You're gonna make me come by
- 18:19Speaker 1: your and my check in But what did you say?
- 18:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna do what You're gonna make me come by
- 18:23Speaker 1: your house and get this money, bring it own, bring
- 18:26Speaker 1: it bring you What is the address on this check? Check?
- 18:30Speaker 1: I got it off the check, bring your own. I
- 18:32Speaker 1: bet you you'll be limping back and I'm watching you.
- 18:35Speaker 1: You bet not be spending no money nowhere. You bet
- 18:38Speaker 1: not spend nothing until I get this two fifty plus
- 18:40Speaker 1: thirty whatever I want to Okay, No, you you know
- 18:44Speaker 1: where I am, and you don't call me no more
- 18:46Speaker 1: with this because my check did not bounce. I don't
- 18:49Speaker 1: see how one check went through and the other bounce.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Let me say this to you, we cannot accept you
- 18:54Speaker 1: back into the House of the Lord no more until
- 18:57Speaker 1: you are not. Don't you come in a Sunday and
- 19:00Speaker 1: till we get coming up in the Sunday, and I'm
- 19:02Speaker 1: gonna make sure I find your because you the person
- 19:05Speaker 1: I want to see you. And you know what, I'm
- 19:07Speaker 1: gonna call the pastor right now and asked him because
- 19:10Speaker 1: I don't believe my check bounce you fully? What? Let
- 19:13Speaker 1: me say this? Before you called pastor I got no,
- 19:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna called pastor. No, you should have talked with
- 19:17Speaker 1: pastor before you call me with this information. I got
- 19:20Speaker 1: one more thing I need to say. You ain't got
- 19:22Speaker 1: nothing to say to me. You don't upset me with
- 19:24Speaker 1: this I'm talking about I bounced a check. You should
- 19:27Speaker 1: have went to pastor before you call me with you.
- 19:30Speaker 1: I tall a pastor one I got, But I got
- 19:32Speaker 1: one more thing to say before I leave. But you're listening.
- 19:34Speaker 1: What are you about to say to me? What do
- 19:36Speaker 1: you have to say now that you're gonna pay the check?
- 19:39Speaker 1: This is Nephew timing from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 20:34Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour. And entertainment news,
- 20:37Speaker 1: South Africans are calling on Britain to return their stolen
- 20:41Speaker 1: diamond in Queen Elizabeth scepter. And in other trending entertainment news,
- 20:47Speaker 1: Tiffany Haddish and Aery Spears child child molestation lawsuit has
- 20:52Speaker 1: been dropped. So we'll talk about all of these stories
- 20:54Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, but right now it
- 20:56Speaker 1: is time to ask the clo. She love Officer Steve Harvey,
- 21:02Speaker 1: All right, Donnie and Columbia says, I'm married to a
- 21:05Speaker 1: lazy woman that hasn't had a job since twenty fifteen.
- 21:09Speaker 1: I canceled her credit cards and gave her a prepaid visa.
- 21:13Speaker 1: She can't get a credit card on her own, so
- 21:15Speaker 1: she runs out of money and gets angry with me.
- 21:18Speaker 1: She's being very unreasonable. So I'm thinking about divorce. Can
- 21:22Speaker 1: you think of a better solution? You asking me? Yeah,
- 21:30Speaker 1: who has divorced twice? Uh huh solution? Noked that? Okay,
- 21:39Speaker 1: I've asked that question twice. No, you cannot come up
- 21:44Speaker 1: with a better solution. I didn't, so let the human
- 21:51Speaker 1: side of me speak now. That may be a better solution.
- 21:56Speaker 1: I couldn't find it. Okay, about you? It's about him? Yeah,
- 22:02Speaker 1: But surely all I can give you is my responses
- 22:05Speaker 1: from my life experience. I can't. I don't want to
- 22:08Speaker 1: be hypocritical. Yeah, and tell the man something that I
- 22:12Speaker 1: was unable to do myself. You know. Look, Red, you
- 22:15Speaker 1: can Okay, here we go, watch this hill. You can
- 22:18Speaker 1: sit down and try to have an open, honest, communicating,
- 22:21Speaker 1: communicative conversation with your wife about her spending and everything.
- 22:25Speaker 1: But I think the problem is you've labeled her as lazy. Yeah,
- 22:29Speaker 1: and you're using a negative term to describe your wife.
- 22:33Speaker 1: And I think you're unhappy with this and this finance.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Use me, you, miss Junior. What happened? Jigative? Yeah, write
- 22:43Speaker 1: all this down, Junie about your wife. Go ahead, negative turn,
- 22:50Speaker 1: he lazy all this hill. So, bro, you have a
- 22:52Speaker 1: dilemma man, because uh, infidelity isn't the number one cause
- 22:58Speaker 1: of failures in marriage. It's funny. Yeah, and you're having
- 23:02Speaker 1: that major struggle. And uh, I don't know what help
- 23:07Speaker 1: you manas y'all have to meet halfway if the o'lt
- 23:10Speaker 1: the person they're willing to meet, I don't know, man,
- 23:13Speaker 1: you have to wait the odds out, but please don't.
- 23:15Speaker 1: I've tried to find other solutions. Yeah, it sounds like
- 23:20Speaker 1: he wants her to get a job too. Huh. All right,
- 23:23Speaker 1: moving on to Sapphire out to me, does it does?
- 23:28Speaker 1: Sapphire and Little Rock says, my neighbor and I are friendly,
- 23:32Speaker 1: but not friends. So when I started sleeping with her
- 23:35Speaker 1: ex husband, I didn't feel bad. She came to me
- 23:39Speaker 1: woman to woman and said, I'm low down. Why won't
- 23:43Speaker 1: women address the man in a situation like this? Oh no, yeah,
- 23:51Speaker 1: wait a minute that woman to woman. Yeah, I don't know. Look,
- 23:56Speaker 1: I don't know why women won't address the men in this.
- 23:59Speaker 1: You know, she ended up divorcing her husband for a reason.
- 24:03Speaker 1: She probably know how he is. It may have surprised
- 24:07Speaker 1: her that you are the way you are, but I don't.
- 24:10Speaker 1: That's not to say you did anything wrong. I think
- 24:14Speaker 1: the problem is kind of what you're saying. Women want
- 24:18Speaker 1: to find someone to blame for their fair relationships, and
- 24:24Speaker 1: they always look outside. And you happen to Now you
- 24:30Speaker 1: the reason, you know what I found. Whatever a man
- 24:34Speaker 1: divorces a woman or breaks up with a woman, whoever
- 24:38Speaker 1: the next woman is he evolved with somehow she becomes
- 24:44Speaker 1: the reason. Oh, I bet you was talking to her
- 24:48Speaker 1: when we And no, that's not you. That's not always
- 24:52Speaker 1: the case. It is sometimes, but when you say that,
- 24:57Speaker 1: you know it is sometimes. But when you're in a
- 24:59Speaker 1: fail relationship, you know, look, man, it's a fair relationship.
- 25:05Speaker 1: You can't look for the solution outside all the time.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Sometimes it was just y'all were the wrong people at
- 25:10Speaker 1: the wrong time. You know you can pick the wrong one.
- 25:14Speaker 1: And when you pick the wrong one, you know he
- 25:16Speaker 1: doing what he do now even slept with you, your
- 25:19Speaker 1: friend wash your lowdown and you know that's y'all friendly,
- 25:26Speaker 1: But you ain't free. How How you doing, baby? How
- 25:29Speaker 1: your heart? Moving on to Phoebe and Johnson's how y'all doing? Hey,
- 25:37Speaker 1: mister Johnson? All right, now keep showing concern. Hey, mister Johnson,
- 25:46Speaker 1: how you doing to day? All right? Now, keep showing
- 25:49Speaker 1: concern yourself, all right, Phoebe And Charlotte says, I'm almost sick, see,
- 26:00Speaker 1: and I smoke weed all day to keep me from
- 26:02Speaker 1: custom people out. All right. My new man has never
- 26:06Speaker 1: smoked it before, and he wants me to stop because
- 26:08Speaker 1: he thinks it's disgusting. I can quit if I want to,
- 26:12Speaker 1: But shouldn't he accept some of my flaws? He don't
- 26:15Speaker 1: have to. Y'all learn this right here. Let's say they
- 26:19Speaker 1: have to accept me the way I am. No, they don't.
- 26:22Speaker 1: I don't know who told y'all that if you smoke
- 26:24Speaker 1: weed all day, all day, all day, yeah, don't. Nobody
- 26:31Speaker 1: wants all that now. But she says it keeps her
- 26:37Speaker 1: from custom people out. If you need weeds to keep
- 26:41Speaker 1: from custom people out, you need a whole lot mode
- 26:44Speaker 1: in weeds. Yes, you need therapy, you though, Yeah, but
- 26:54Speaker 1: see you're using something else to keep you from going off,
- 26:59Speaker 1: when really it ain't that. Why don't you Why don't
- 27:01Speaker 1: you learn how not to go off? And why are
- 27:04Speaker 1: you sixty and still going off? Though? Everybody? Yeah? I
- 27:08Speaker 1: mean you know that's why you was available. Now he's
- 27:11Speaker 1: been to lose him. You've been to be back out
- 27:13Speaker 1: on the market again. I want everybody, won't you? And
- 27:19Speaker 1: he gonna get rid of your ad because he can't
- 27:22Speaker 1: take all that smoke. Might be sitting around nobody's smoking
- 27:25Speaker 1: weed all the time to your old ad. Last one
- 27:33Speaker 1: Steve Adrian and McKinney says, My husband and I heard
- 27:36Speaker 1: our eighteen year old daughter making out with her boyfriend
- 27:39Speaker 1: by our pool. Surprisingly, my husband doesn't want to mention
- 27:42Speaker 1: it to her, he said, since she didn't quote go
- 27:44Speaker 1: all the way, it's fine. I'm shocked that she was
- 27:48Speaker 1: so bold, and I want to talk to her about it.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Who's right me or my husband? Well, it's not a
- 27:52Speaker 1: matter who's right or wrong. You have different viewpoints. Your
- 27:56Speaker 1: husband don't want to discuss it with his daughter. M
- 28:01Speaker 1: He just don't. Now that you're the mother, y'all got
- 28:03Speaker 1: a different relationship. You probably can't. But he don't want it.
- 28:08Speaker 1: He just you out there letting that board. Come on,
- 28:12Speaker 1: what is it? This is this his daughter? You should
- 28:16Speaker 1: go and talk to her. If that's how you feel,
- 28:19Speaker 1: you go talk to her. But he's not. Yeah, you
- 28:25Speaker 1: can do that, okay with that hey, little girl, because
- 28:29Speaker 1: that's how Yeah. But me and that little boy, we're
- 28:33Speaker 1: gonna have a conversation. Yeah, you all appeared my damn pool.
- 28:37Speaker 1: You ain't got no pool money. All right, thank you, Sielo.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Great advice. Coming up at the top of the hour.
- 28:45Speaker 1: We'll have some entertainment news for you right after this.
- 28:48Speaker 1: You're listening Stry Morning Show. According to the Black Information Network,
- 28:55Speaker 1: calls are being made to the Royal family to return
- 28:58Speaker 1: South Africa's large just clear cut diamond, the Great Star
- 29:03Speaker 1: of Africa. The Clonan diamond is currently mounted in the
- 29:07Speaker 1: royal scepter belonging to the Queen. The diamond was mined
- 29:11Speaker 1: in South Africa back in nineteen oh five, and the
- 29:13Speaker 1: Great Star was handed over to the British Royal family
- 29:17Speaker 1: by the colonial rulers of Africa. A South African activist
- 29:21Speaker 1: told CNN the Clonu diamond must be returned to South
- 29:25Speaker 1: Africa with immediate effect. The minerals of our country and
- 29:29Speaker 1: other countries continue to benefit Britain at the expense of
- 29:33Speaker 1: our people. So there that's another true statement. Give it back,
- 29:41Speaker 1: give it back, you stole it. Give watch I just
- 29:48Speaker 1: you know what you know when people have an opportunity
- 29:52Speaker 1: to do something decent and they don't do it, and
- 29:57Speaker 1: they find a justifiable reason to undo a dastardly deed
- 30:04Speaker 1: or an evil act. And you get a chance to
- 30:07Speaker 1: undo it, you should do it. Yeah, just to send
- 30:12Speaker 1: a clear message. If you took that diamond out of
- 30:15Speaker 1: that a scepter, what do that hurts your ass? Yes,
- 30:20Speaker 1: it's really a damn stick. Yeah, right, And you're taking
- 30:24Speaker 1: this incredible, rare resource and put it on a stick
- 30:30Speaker 1: so somebody can you can call it accept It's a
- 30:33Speaker 1: damn cane, right, But accept accept isn't isn't a crown?
- 30:40Speaker 1: Is it is? That? Acceptor is a stick? I mean
- 30:46Speaker 1: that's all it is. Man, What a great gesture it
- 30:49Speaker 1: would be. But you know, I'm gonna tell you something, man,
- 30:54Speaker 1: people when they commit a dastardly act, what they want
- 30:58Speaker 1: you to do is wash it away in for get it.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Slavery is a prime example. It's like you want us
- 31:06Speaker 1: to act as though it never happened. You in Texas
- 31:09Speaker 1: trying to get it removed from the history books, but
- 31:12Speaker 1: you can feel clean. You don't want them to teach
- 31:15Speaker 1: black history in this country. They want everybody forget it.
- 31:19Speaker 1: And walk away. But you keep reminding us that we
- 31:24Speaker 1: were bought here as slaves. You don't put us in
- 31:27Speaker 1: the constitution. You don't allow us to participate in the
- 31:31Speaker 1: constitution openly and freely, all of us. And you wanted
- 31:38Speaker 1: to just be okay, man, If I told you what
- 31:43Speaker 1: the Roman Catholic Church owns in terms of property worldwide
- 31:50Speaker 1: as a beneficiary of colonialization, it would alarm you. There
- 31:56Speaker 1: are places in Africa that African countries are not to
- 32:01Speaker 1: build and own land own because it belongs to the
- 32:05Speaker 1: Catholic Church, the Vatican. This is a fact. I know
- 32:09Speaker 1: it for a fact, And if you ask them for it,
- 32:13Speaker 1: they act like you're even talking. And when you get
- 32:19Speaker 1: a chance, when it's brought to your attention and listening,
- 32:22Speaker 1: there's this land right here that is in the middle
- 32:26Speaker 1: of an African free country, and it has the paperwork
- 32:33Speaker 1: owned by the Vatican, which is a religious organization supposed
- 32:39Speaker 1: to be built on Christianity. Can we have this land
- 32:43Speaker 1: back so that people are allowed to live on it?
- 32:46Speaker 1: In FLOORI should do things? No why? And you do
- 32:50Speaker 1: nothing with it? And I've never seen an oppressor do
- 32:55Speaker 1: the right thing, all right? And other entertainment news Steve,
- 33:00Speaker 1: Tiffany Hattish and Airy Spears are no longer fighting a
- 33:03Speaker 1: child molestation lawsuit against them because the Jane Doe who
- 33:07Speaker 1: filed the suit has now dismissed it for good. Per
- 33:10Speaker 1: New Court Docks, the plantiff asked the judge to dismiss
- 33:14Speaker 1: the case with prejudice, meaning it cannot be refiled. You'll
- 33:18Speaker 1: you'll recall the case involved allegations the two comedians groomed
- 33:22Speaker 1: and molested two children several years ago. The woman who
- 33:26Speaker 1: sued both of them has also issued a statement saying, quote,
- 33:30Speaker 1: my family and I have known Tiffany Hattish for many years,
- 33:33Speaker 1: and we now know that she would never harm me
- 33:36Speaker 1: or my brother to help anyone else do anything that
- 33:39Speaker 1: could harm us. We wish Tiffany the best and are
- 33:42Speaker 1: glad that we can put We can all put this
- 33:45Speaker 1: behind us. If you recall, Jane Doe alleged that Tiffany
- 33:49Speaker 1: and her film scene where she stimulated oral sex with
- 33:52Speaker 1: a sandwich, and also claimed her brother was used for
- 33:56Speaker 1: a skip with Airy Spears in which he was the
- 33:58Speaker 1: subject of a pedophile So that case has been dropped, dismissed. Well,
- 34:04Speaker 1: that's good news for timmany berries. That's career saving m hmm, yeah, absolutely,
- 34:11Speaker 1: because that was career ending allegations for yeah, yeah, but
- 34:16Speaker 1: for them, and now just let that be a lesson
- 34:19Speaker 1: to anybody out there that think they please understand just
- 34:24Speaker 1: you know, you know, I mean, man, just check yourself. Now.
- 34:28Speaker 1: I'm glad Tiffany's cleared and all like that. There was
- 34:31Speaker 1: no mention of Ari, but the case has been dropped
- 34:34Speaker 1: against him too, so you know, they get to go
- 34:36Speaker 1: with their life and hopefully that's that's the case. Yeah,
- 34:40Speaker 1: good for them, Yeah, yeah, very good. Don't get cleared
- 34:44Speaker 1: and then do something else stupid. Yeah, I'll come back
- 34:47Speaker 1: with another skit. We've we've seen this before. Yeah, if
- 34:55Speaker 1: the writer of Chocolate Factor, when he was acquitted the
- 34:59Speaker 1: first time, if he would have just went somewhere and
- 35:03Speaker 1: sat down, he would be free today. If you go
- 35:09Speaker 1: back and do the same thing, you get to quit
- 35:11Speaker 1: it up a mystical Okay, br come on, man, it's like, hell,
- 35:21Speaker 1: how many warning shot you need? Exactly? Steve? All right, well,
- 35:26Speaker 1: coming up at twenty minutes after the hour, Why is
- 35:28Speaker 1: laughter good for the soul? We'll talk about that right
- 35:33Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to all right, we love us,
- 35:39Speaker 1: We love being black. We know how we do. Steve.
- 35:43Speaker 1: I know you've seen this video of the two guys
- 35:46Speaker 1: laughing at the table, man, you understand this year it's
- 35:54Speaker 1: my favorite video over the year. The big dudes laughing
- 36:03Speaker 1: at this outdoor place with this little bit ass furniture
- 36:07Speaker 1: that really ain't for them, that little wrought iron furniture
- 36:11Speaker 1: set from my kill. Yeah, when they started beating on
- 36:16Speaker 1: each other laughing, and then the one failed, but the
- 36:19Speaker 1: dude kept beating him. But his bick name is sex dog.
- 36:29Speaker 1: The waiting boys was leaning on each other laughing. See
- 36:33Speaker 1: I've laughed at hard before. Yes, I know that it's
- 36:39Speaker 1: so good for you. Man. I see you know what, man,
- 36:43Speaker 1: people don't realize what a laughter does. But a hard
- 36:47Speaker 1: laugh absolutely first of all, laughter releases and dolphins through
- 36:52Speaker 1: your body. That makes you feel better. And dolphins are
- 36:56Speaker 1: the basis behind drugs. They tap into that or in
- 37:00Speaker 1: a person's body, except illegal drugs taken way too far. Laughter.
- 37:07Speaker 1: You can actually live with laughter and make yourself a
- 37:09Speaker 1: better person versus the drug that message with your enduredents
- 37:14Speaker 1: or laughter Mann Comedian, Oh my god, man, I just
- 37:19Speaker 1: don't even I can't even tell you what it has
- 37:21Speaker 1: been to me. It's like such a gift to have
- 37:25Speaker 1: to be able to make people laugh because I actually
- 37:28Speaker 1: have the ability to cheer myself up. Yeah you know
- 37:33Speaker 1: what I mean, I can turn some of these jokes inward.
- 37:37Speaker 1: And I'm telling you, man, because I have a different
- 37:39Speaker 1: sense of humor, so I have the ability to laugh
- 37:42Speaker 1: at stuff that most people will not find funny. Because
- 37:46Speaker 1: if I'm having one of those troubling days and your
- 37:49Speaker 1: ass could just be tagged you in and don't even
- 37:52Speaker 1: know why. Yeah, I mean, I'm telling you right now,
- 37:57Speaker 1: I'll look at you and find something wrong with you
- 37:59Speaker 1: and focus on it, man, and be over here, Holland,
- 38:02Speaker 1: I'm talking about raking stuff off the tape like they
- 38:06Speaker 1: were they were times? How many times? Video? Oh, I've
- 38:12Speaker 1: watched the video prop thirty times. I watched last night
- 38:15Speaker 1: because I got out of work late last night. It
- 38:17Speaker 1: was dark, you know, I go to work in the dark.
- 38:19Speaker 1: I get off his stark. I was driving home and
- 38:22Speaker 1: a film crew was followed and I just started playing
- 38:24Speaker 1: that video on them, two dudes last and then I
- 38:27Speaker 1: showed it to them. They were so tired, ass couldn't laugh.
- 38:34Speaker 1: Now coming up at thirty four minutes, after the hour,
- 38:36Speaker 1: we're gonna check your voicemail. Call us eight seven seven
- 38:39Speaker 1: twenty nine. Steve. We'll take your voice messages right after this.
- 38:43Speaker 1: You're listening show, all right, It is time now, guys
- 38:49Speaker 1: to check Steve's voicemail, and if you want to leave
- 38:51Speaker 1: Steve a voicemail a message, call him eight seven seven
- 38:54Speaker 1: twenty nine. Steve. Here we go, Steve, get ready for
- 38:58Speaker 1: this one. It's a it's a color from Texas. Pretty racist,
- 39:02Speaker 1: very upset about our discussion on voting Texas. Listen to
- 39:07Speaker 1: what y'all saying about all you black Republicans and blah
- 39:10Speaker 1: blah blah, y'all, some racists like you think voting for
- 39:14Speaker 1: a hair sniffing pool is gonna benefit your race. Only
- 39:19Speaker 1: even if that was true, you're racist completely. That's all
- 39:23Speaker 1: I got to say. Well, my reaction to you is
- 39:26Speaker 1: real simple. If you think I'm racist, my comments are
- 39:31Speaker 1: in reaction to what has been done and being done
- 39:34Speaker 1: to us continually. And you're the bigger racist because you
- 39:39Speaker 1: think we are to be okay and content and you
- 39:42Speaker 1: want us to think the way you think. And if
- 39:45Speaker 1: we don't think the way you think, accept your policy
- 39:49Speaker 1: the way you write it. Out, then something wrong with us?
- 39:52Speaker 1: Now it ain't nothing wrong with us. Now we have
- 39:54Speaker 1: every right to feel the way we feel because you
- 39:57Speaker 1: have pushed us this way. I would love not to considerate,
- 40:01Speaker 1: but people like you won't let me. And then you
- 40:04Speaker 1: have the audacity to turn the term racist around on me?
- 40:09Speaker 1: Are you for real? And I wish they didn't beep
- 40:11Speaker 1: out what you said because I got some words too. See,
- 40:14Speaker 1: I ain't that dude, careful careful, so your potass ain't
- 40:18Speaker 1: got the appreciate me or understand me. I really don't
- 40:23Speaker 1: give a damn. As a matter of fact, I could
- 40:26Speaker 1: give less than a bleep bleep. No, we have another
- 40:30Speaker 1: color you know up in here. Call my email back
- 40:34Speaker 1: to straighten me out, and don't think your ass gonna
- 40:37Speaker 1: get some back, all right? This caller's name is walk B.
- 40:43Speaker 1: As we move on, um, he wants to talk about
- 40:46Speaker 1: the Strawberry letter, the one we did last week about
- 40:48Speaker 1: no touching in public. Hey, see Harvard and the crew,
- 40:51Speaker 1: how you're doing this? Walk Beat from Georgia. I just
- 40:54Speaker 1: wanted to leave a comment on this letter about lady
- 40:58Speaker 1: dating her pastor and man, and you said it, Steve
- 41:02Speaker 1: absolutely right, as we all listening to this, and it
- 41:06Speaker 1: is so disgusting and just so as I'm riding alone
- 41:09Speaker 1: listening man, and it's just you know, I mean, no shame.
- 41:14Speaker 1: She has no value for herself and just you know,
- 41:19Speaker 1: no no respect of God him being a pastor, and
- 41:23Speaker 1: apparely he can't be called by God, you know, he
- 41:27Speaker 1: can't be a pastor after God's on all like the
- 41:30Speaker 1: Bible's faith. He probably just put himself in that position.
- 41:33Speaker 1: Or maybe he may be a naunted but however, I mean,
- 41:37Speaker 1: he just abusing his title, and I mean doing all
- 41:41Speaker 1: the things heat doing. And then she she really acts
- 41:44Speaker 1: as if she's getting a thrill out of all this,
- 41:48Speaker 1: you know. And I pray and hope her husband is
- 41:52Speaker 1: listening to the letter, and I hope that pastor's wife
- 41:56Speaker 1: is listening to your radio show. And day soon we
- 42:00Speaker 1: found out and fusted for it because it's just so despicable.
- 42:04Speaker 1: But I just wanted to say that y'all have a
- 42:06Speaker 1: great day, okay, Wal. I appreciate you, man. I agree
- 42:12Speaker 1: with everything you say. Back to the races. One more
- 42:17Speaker 1: letter on the people. People just touch the nerve, no
- 42:20Speaker 1: touching in public. Mellow Yellow had a comment. Steve Hey
- 42:23Speaker 1: Steve mellow Yellow here about the strawberry. Later the lady
- 42:27Speaker 1: with the pastor they both married. I think she wants
- 42:31Speaker 1: her husband to find out. That's why she wrote to
- 42:33Speaker 1: the letter just say hey, you never know. I don't
- 42:36Speaker 1: know why, but anything's possible. I guess it is what
- 42:40Speaker 1: that anything is possible. Man, It's just uh. I thought
- 42:43Speaker 1: that letter was just lady, are you hiding your understanding?
- 42:49Speaker 1: There was there was no level of righteousness right inclosing
- 42:54Speaker 1: to the race. They called back to the first. I
- 42:58Speaker 1: don't give a damn what you talking about. And I'm
- 43:02Speaker 1: gonna keep saying what I'm saying. I don't give a
- 43:05Speaker 1: damn how you feel about me. With Joe, racist ass
- 43:10Speaker 1: sitting up in here creating all the situation here, we're
- 43:12Speaker 1: supposed to be all right with it. Well we ain't. Yeah,
- 43:15Speaker 1: and notice a he didn't leave a name, coward ass,
- 43:19Speaker 1: just like all the rest of the hide behind you.

- 43:27Speaker 1: I think I ain't got all trust me, I ain't.
- 43:30Speaker 1: That's coming up and play the call again if you
- 43:33Speaker 1: want to. I got mote no coming up next. It
- 43:36Speaker 1: is a junior in for the nephew with today's Frank
- 43:39Speaker 1: phone call. Right after this You're listening show coming up
- 43:45Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, about four minutes after.
- 43:48Speaker 1: It's my strawberry letter for today, and the subject is
- 43:52Speaker 1: my grown step son has to go. All right, pretty
- 43:55Speaker 1: self explanatory. Right. We'll get into it though in a
- 43:58Speaker 1: little in a little while, but right now it is
- 44:01Speaker 1: time for Junior and for the nephew. And he's got
- 44:04Speaker 1: today's Frank phone called Junior. Yes on the menu, he
- 44:08Speaker 1: is today nephew left it force. Some people always ask
- 44:12Speaker 1: this question, guess who moving next door? Oh? I just
- 44:17Speaker 1: guess you already know. Guess who moving next door? Let's
- 44:21Speaker 1: run it can't hello, I'm trying to reach uh mister
- 44:25Speaker 1: is it Dolphin? Dolan? Dolan Dolan, mister Dolan answer? How
- 44:30Speaker 1: are you doing? My name is uh Clifford Cooper. Yeah,
- 44:35Speaker 1: what can do for you? Mister? Uh? You you you
- 44:38Speaker 1: live at um uh check you out drive? Why do
- 44:42Speaker 1: you want to know that? Well? Actually, I'm at sixteen
- 44:45Speaker 1: twenty three. I bought I bought the uh, I actually
- 44:49Speaker 1: bought the house that was for sale next door to you. Okay,
- 44:51Speaker 1: well congratulations, but how did you get my number? Actually?
- 44:55Speaker 1: The realtor told me that he had your number because
- 44:58Speaker 1: I said I wanted to reach out to the neighbor's
- 45:00Speaker 1: next door. And he told me that mister Dolan was
- 45:03Speaker 1: actually the person next door and and uh, he didn't
- 45:06Speaker 1: think you would mind me me actually getting the number. Okay, well,
- 45:10Speaker 1: I'll talk with the real or layer. But what can
- 45:12Speaker 1: I do for you, sir? What? What? What? I What
- 45:14Speaker 1: I wanted to know is do do you have any
- 45:15Speaker 1: problems like living next door to to to black people?
- 45:19Speaker 1: I'm sorry, what did you just ask me? I mean,
- 45:22Speaker 1: like like I you know, like I said, I just
- 45:24Speaker 1: bought the place next door, and I wanted to know,
- 45:26Speaker 1: do you have any problems you know, living next door
- 45:29Speaker 1: to black people? Uh? No, sir, I have no problem.
- 45:33Speaker 1: I'm assuming you're a black man, and uh I have
- 45:36Speaker 1: no problem with that. I judge people by their actions,
- 45:39Speaker 1: not their color. Okay, now do you do you do
- 45:41Speaker 1: you have any any black people experience? Well? Yeah, I've
- 45:45Speaker 1: worked with, gone to school with, has several friends of
- 45:48Speaker 1: many different ethnicities. Uh but what what is it? What?
- 45:52Speaker 1: What's this? How is this relative? Well? You know, like
- 45:55Speaker 1: I said, I'm gonna be I'm gonna be living next
- 45:56Speaker 1: to you, and I'm just making sure that you know,
- 45:59Speaker 1: you and I can coincide or coexists rather on the
- 46:03Speaker 1: same block and not really have a problem with one
- 46:05Speaker 1: another basis. But what I'm trying to say, well, do
- 46:07Speaker 1: you have a problem with white people? Uh? No, No, No,
- 46:10Speaker 1: I don't have a problem white people. I'm cool. I'm
- 46:13Speaker 1: just I'm just trying to make sure you know, I mean,
- 46:16Speaker 1: because we and you already have a bit of a
- 46:18Speaker 1: problem already, you know we do. Yeah, yeah, we have
- 46:22Speaker 1: a problem. I mean, I'm bothering me while on net work.
- 46:25Speaker 1: What's your problem? Okay? Well my problem is this is that,
- 46:29Speaker 1: you know, after purchasing the property, I went downtown to
- 46:32Speaker 1: the city and actually looked at, you know, the layout
- 46:37Speaker 1: of this entire property. And when I look at it,
- 46:39Speaker 1: you actually twenty five close to thirty feet over the
- 46:43Speaker 1: property line. Well, now you look at the wrong map. No, no,
- 46:47Speaker 1: the fifth that separates my backyard from your backyard. You
- 46:50Speaker 1: have thirty feet over that. That's impossible, you know, listen,
- 46:54Speaker 1: and I know this. Let me let me know. I'm
- 46:56Speaker 1: gonna tell you. Look at you got a jacouzi in
- 46:59Speaker 1: your backyard. So you've been giving spine on me. No,
- 47:02Speaker 1: I'm been spined on you, sir. I'm just telling you
- 47:06Speaker 1: close to that, not far from that fiz line. Don't
- 47:08Speaker 1: don't you have a jacouzi there well? As a matter
- 47:10Speaker 1: of fact, I do, yes. Okay, So the pool is,
- 47:13Speaker 1: the pool is all packed. But what if I if
- 47:16Speaker 1: I pushed that fifth line back thirty and actually get
- 47:19Speaker 1: the property that I'm supposed to have pretty much own? Yo? Yo,
- 47:23Speaker 1: you you'll jacouz. You'll have to nacy. Okay, let me
- 47:26Speaker 1: tell you something. I've been in that house for ten years.
- 47:29Speaker 1: We put that fence up when we moved in, and
- 47:32Speaker 1: it was based on the property line that was that
- 47:35Speaker 1: was the set when ten years ago. I don't know
- 47:38Speaker 1: what you're looking at, but my fence is not moving.
- 47:41Speaker 1: My jacuzi is not moving, and there's there's no changing that. Okay, well,
- 47:46Speaker 1: let me let me let me. I'm glad you give
- 47:48Speaker 1: your voice what you wanted. The boy nine none none
- 47:51Speaker 1: you hear you, hear Old Clifford. I let me tell
- 47:54Speaker 1: you so, Uh, either we're gonna take the fifth line
- 47:57Speaker 1: and move it where supposed to be. We're gonna put
- 48:00Speaker 1: a gate between uh two yards, and I'm gonna be
- 48:04Speaker 1: able to come and get in mis Jakouzy and pool
- 48:06Speaker 1: whatever I want to. All right, let's let's let's let's
- 48:08Speaker 1: talk about this. First of all, there's gonna not gonna
- 48:11Speaker 1: be a gate, okay. And as far as you just
- 48:14Speaker 1: coming over and getting into Jacuzi at will, I got
- 48:17Speaker 1: a real problem with that. Uh, you've called me at work.
- 48:21Speaker 1: I'm on the job and I'm having to listen to
- 48:23Speaker 1: this on a future neighbor who's making weird claims about
- 48:29Speaker 1: how he owns part of my plan. Get back, I
- 48:32Speaker 1: owned the Jacuzy s No, No, you did not pay
- 48:35Speaker 1: for that Jacuzi. You did not pay for that defense.
- 48:39Speaker 1: You just showed up making Ah he called me at work,
- 48:42Speaker 1: and and and and and then you hand me some
- 48:45Speaker 1: story with no evidence. I'll go down to city Hall
- 48:49Speaker 1: and look at those papers myself, because I don't first
- 48:53Speaker 1: word you're saying. I've been there for ten years. I've
- 48:56Speaker 1: had ten other neighbors in that backyard. You don't cycle
- 49:00Speaker 1: through once a year, I swear, And I've never had
- 49:02Speaker 1: any problems with him until you come along. This is them. Okay. Well,
- 49:07Speaker 1: I tell you what, there's something you need to understand.
- 49:09Speaker 1: You got a new black neighbor, and you got a
- 49:11Speaker 1: new black neighbor that owns party owns your jakouzi because
- 49:15Speaker 1: you're over the fence line, all right, And as soon
- 49:17Speaker 1: as I move in, I'm coming and I'm getting in
- 49:20Speaker 1: my jakouzi. You would the man, you know what I mean,
- 49:24Speaker 1: don't move into that. I'm gonna use the jacuzi on Monday,
- 49:28Speaker 1: Wenday and Friday. You get it on Tuesday, Thursday and
- 49:31Speaker 1: the weekend. That's it because blazons, damn jakouzi belongs to me,
- 49:36Speaker 1: the jakouzi as a home by a black man and
- 49:38Speaker 1: a white man, and we're gonna get along. Bladam live.
- 49:41Speaker 1: Look here, let listen hear you for you to dictate
- 49:44Speaker 1: what days I get to use my jacuzi because it's
- 49:48Speaker 1: not coming over to mynd. Just you don't cry. It's
- 49:51Speaker 1: our jakouzi because you you built it. That's the only
- 49:55Speaker 1: thing that makes it yours. It being on my part
- 49:57Speaker 1: of the property I was making mind. So therefore we're
- 50:01Speaker 1: gonna share this damn jacouzi and we're gonna try to
- 50:03Speaker 1: get jacouzie. I'm passing your across the fence. I will
- 50:08Speaker 1: be there on Monday's Wednesdays and you ain't gonna be
- 50:11Speaker 1: I'll be standing out my jacuzie with a shotgun. You
- 50:14Speaker 1: take one step over to my property, my property line.
- 50:18Speaker 1: I swear if I jump through this phone, I'd wring
- 50:20Speaker 1: your neck. You know who's gonna be in there with me? Who?
- 50:23Speaker 1: Who the gonna be in there? I'm gonna have cutting
- 50:25Speaker 1: hell in the damn jacuz Who cutting hell? My co worker? What? Hey, man,
- 50:34Speaker 1: this is nephew. Tell me man, you your boy cutting
- 50:37Speaker 1: hewn got me to plank phone? Call you this? Oh oh,
- 50:43Speaker 1: pay back to it. We got you, man, We got you.
- 50:48Speaker 1: You running good? Hey, I got one more thing to
- 50:50Speaker 1: ask you, man, What is the baddest and I mean
- 50:52Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the last the Steve Harvey's
- 50:57Speaker 1: Radio Shop. Wow, I know I wasn't expecting that much.
- 51:09Speaker 1: He just he'd just be throwing them out here. Still
- 51:12Speaker 1: he's still walking around with no injuries. I just don't
- 51:15Speaker 1: understand that. Yeah. Well, you know what is Sickle Cell
- 51:23Speaker 1: Awareness Month? So tonight I do have a town hall
- 51:26Speaker 1: tonight I will be discussing with people, uh about living
- 51:30Speaker 1: with sickle cell We're doing it. You can go to
- 51:31Speaker 1: kers hope dot org slash town hall to register. I
- 51:35Speaker 1: want to see everybody in there. We're gonna start taking

- 51:40Speaker 1: I've ten x my mission. That's what I did. U
- 51:43Speaker 1: I ten xt it. I'm gonna start creating a lifestyle

- 51:48Speaker 1: the game. That's what I'm gonna do. So it starts
- 51:50Speaker 1: tonight with the town hall. I'll be done. Me just
- 51:54Speaker 1: have a bigger vision of just growing it ten times,
- 51:56Speaker 1: bigger times. Oh yeah, yeah, man, that's what we're gonna
- 51:59Speaker 1: be doing. We'll be doing these town halls once a month.
- 52:02Speaker 1: H I know, excuse me for interrupting. I know you're
- 52:06Speaker 1: gonna talk about sickle cell and that's a great cause.
- 52:08Speaker 1: Will you take any questions on your new marriage, because
- 52:11Speaker 1: you know people want to know. Well, if it's gonna
- 52:15Speaker 1: talk about me going into a crisis on the marriage,
- 52:17Speaker 1: didn't that's my it? Well, his spokesperson just said, no, No,
- 52:25Speaker 1: you're not taking any questions on your marriage because you
- 52:28Speaker 1: don't know that you're talking about. Right, Yeah, I can't
- 52:32Speaker 1: take no. I don't know what I'm talking about. I
- 52:36Speaker 1: have probably fifteen. Congratulations Junior on your tight All right.

- 53:17Speaker 1: one right here here that you never know it could
- 53:19Speaker 1: be yours. Yeah, ladies and gentlemen, it is time for
- 53:22Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter. Well, my great friend Shirley Strawberry. Okay,
- 53:26Speaker 1: my great friend too, Junior. Thank you. Subject my ground
- 53:31Speaker 1: stepson has to go. Ju, Shirley and Steve. I'm a
- 53:35Speaker 1: successful thirty four year old married man and I love
- 53:38Speaker 1: my wife, but I'm miserable at home. My wife and
- 53:42Speaker 1: I met just before COVID and we've been married for
- 53:45Speaker 1: one year. Our marriage was great until recently, and it's
- 53:48Speaker 1: because of my twenty eight year old stepson that won't
- 53:51Speaker 1: move out of our home. My wife is sixteen years
- 53:54Speaker 1: older than I am. When we met her man child
- 53:57Speaker 1: was living with her, and she told me it was
- 53:59Speaker 1: a temporary arrangement only during the pandemic. By the time
- 54:04Speaker 1: we got married and I moved in, my stepson was
- 54:07Speaker 1: still living there and his pregnant girlfriend had moved in again.
- 54:11Speaker 1: My wife said that this was only temporary until their
- 54:14Speaker 1: baby was born. Shortly after I moved in, my stepson
- 54:18Speaker 1: lost his job and didn't tell us. We overheard his
- 54:21Speaker 1: girlfriend yelling about him getting fired, and then she moved out.
- 54:26Speaker 1: I understood that he might be ashamed, so I tried
- 54:29Speaker 1: to give him a pep talk. He bowed up at
- 54:31Speaker 1: me and we almost got in a fight. I stay
- 54:35Speaker 1: on my wife about pushing him out of the nest,
- 54:37Speaker 1: and she's always she always has an excuse for allowing
- 54:42Speaker 1: him to stay. I hate to come home and see
- 54:44Speaker 1: another man fixing a plate of food that I've worked
- 54:47Speaker 1: hard for. I hate to see another man lying on
- 54:50Speaker 1: my couch watching reality shows instead of looking for a job.
- 54:54Speaker 1: I'm so glad that I didn't sell my house when
- 54:57Speaker 1: we got married, because I may have to go back
- 55:00Speaker 1: back to my house and let her manchild run this one.
- 55:03Speaker 1: The fighting is getting to me and I told my
- 55:05Speaker 1: wife that I might be moving out soon. She broke
- 55:08Speaker 1: down in tears, but still didn't have sense enough to
- 55:11Speaker 1: agree that it's time for her son to leave. Should
- 55:14Speaker 1: I move out and let my wife figure out if
- 55:16Speaker 1: she wants me or her son. Well, clearly she wants
- 55:21Speaker 1: you because she married you. She just doesn't know how
- 55:24Speaker 1: to handle this situation with her son. As a mom,
- 55:28Speaker 1: she's struggling with kicking her son out. You know, she's thinking,
- 55:32Speaker 1: this is my baby and all that. You know, I
- 55:34Speaker 1: don't want to kick him out. Where's he gonna go?
- 55:36Speaker 1: And the mom isn't putting her marriage first. But in
- 55:42Speaker 1: the letter you did say he's twenty eight years old, right,
- 55:45Speaker 1: so he's good and grown. Normally I would say don't leave.
- 55:50Speaker 1: I would say don't leave your own home. But in
- 55:53Speaker 1: this case, since you have another home and just to
- 55:57Speaker 1: have some peace you don't like the fighting, I say go.
- 56:01Speaker 1: Your wife will will put her sorry, grown son out.
- 56:04Speaker 1: She's not gonna do it until you see she sees
- 56:07Speaker 1: that you mean business, okay, And if you leave, that'll
- 56:10Speaker 1: show her that you mean business. You know, you want
- 56:13Speaker 1: him out of there. I would I think it would
- 56:16Speaker 1: be a little different and perhaps you'd be a little
- 56:18Speaker 1: more patient and understanding if he wasn't so lazy and disrespectful.
- 56:22Speaker 1: Not to mention he tried to fight you. You were
- 56:25Speaker 1: trying to help him. He's not even trying to help
- 56:28Speaker 1: himself at this point, and he won't because he's got
- 56:31Speaker 1: it too good at home with mom right now. And
- 56:33Speaker 1: and this is him trying to mark his territory because
- 56:37Speaker 1: he was there first. He doesn't realize the dynamics have
- 56:40Speaker 1: changed now since the marriage. Your wife should have let
- 56:43Speaker 1: him know that things would be different because she has
- 56:45Speaker 1: a husband, you know, a new husband now, things like
- 56:50Speaker 1: you know, these are the things that change, like he'll
- 56:53Speaker 1: no longer be the man of the house and that
- 56:56Speaker 1: he has to respect her new husband. Okay, your wife
- 56:59Speaker 1: is she continues to enable this boy, this man, and
- 57:04Speaker 1: he's never going to leave as long as she does that.
- 57:06Speaker 1: So you got to talk to your wife. I know
- 57:08Speaker 1: you guys are newly wedg who's been married a year.
- 57:11Speaker 1: Let her know you want to set a date for
- 57:12Speaker 1: her son to be gone. Then you guys have to
- 57:15Speaker 1: talk to the son together, let him know what you've decided.
- 57:19Speaker 1: If that doesn't work, if he still doesn't leave, let
- 57:21Speaker 1: her know that you're moving back to your own house
- 57:24Speaker 1: until her son gets out. I mean, he's not even
- 57:27Speaker 1: looking for a job, and he's expecting a child. His
- 57:30Speaker 1: baby mama didn't even stick around for his foolishness, So
- 57:33Speaker 1: why should you, Steve Wow. We have a couple of
- 57:38Speaker 1: problems in this letter. First of all, when a man
- 57:43Speaker 1: writes a letter, everybody, I want you to understand that
- 57:46Speaker 1: he has reached his foots in me and don't write letter.
- 57:51Speaker 1: And he wrote a good letter. It's well put. It's
- 57:55Speaker 1: ain't him being emotional, it ain't some guy crime. He
- 58:00Speaker 1: got real problem. But there's a lot of things going
- 58:05Speaker 1: on in this letter that some people will overlook, and
- 58:08Speaker 1: I'm not going to do that. He's a thirty four
- 58:10Speaker 1: year old married man. I love my wife, but I'm
- 58:14Speaker 1: miserable at home. My wife and I met before Kovid.
- 58:18Speaker 1: We've been married for a year. Our marriage was great
- 58:20Speaker 1: until recently, and it is because of my twenty eight
- 58:23Speaker 1: year old stepson that won't move out of our home.
- 58:26Speaker 1: I remember this guy for thirty four. He now has
- 58:30Speaker 1: a son that's twenty eight. I want you to understand
- 58:34Speaker 1: that dynamic because it's going to come into play. Here's
- 58:39Speaker 1: the next thing, because this is an age issue. My
- 58:43Speaker 1: wife is sixteen years older than I am. Are you
- 58:46Speaker 1: all listening here? You're thirty four, Your wife is fifty.
- 58:53Speaker 1: She has a twenty eight year old son, and he's
- 58:56Speaker 1: now your stepson, and you ain't for thirty four. All
- 59:01Speaker 1: of this is in the underbelly of the problem. So
- 59:10Speaker 1: when we met her, man child was living with her.
- 59:15Speaker 1: See man child, that's another term. So when I come back,
- 59:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna be very quick, and I'm gonna point out
- 59:23Speaker 1: to you everything that's wrong, and then I'm gonna tell
- 59:26Speaker 1: my man what I think. You're all right? Steve, all right?
- 59:33Speaker 1: Coming up with twenty two minutes after the twenty three
- 59:36Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we will have part two of
- 59:38Speaker 1: Steve's response to today's Strawberry letter. My grown stepson has
- 59:43Speaker 1: to go is the subject. We'll get back into it
- 59:46Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to Steve Show. All right,
- 59:51Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject
- 59:54Speaker 1: my grown stepson has to go? Well, he got to go.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: He two damn much, and it's creating a problem in
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: the family. This is a thirty four year old man
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: that's married to a woman who has a twenty eight
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: year old son. That's only a six year difference, and
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: his wife is sixteen year old older than him, she fifty.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: All of this is the undercurrent of what's wrong in
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: this letter. Now, when we met her man child, that's
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: another term that's crazy. Her man child was living with her,
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: and she told me it was a temporary arrangement only
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: during the pandemic. By the time we got married and
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: I moved in, my stepson was still living there and
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: his pregnant girlfriend moved in. And then your wife said
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: that was only temporary until a babel was born. And
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: then shortly after you moved in, your stepson lost his
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: job and he didn't tell nobody. Then you overheard his
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: girlfriend yelling at him about getting five, and then she
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: moved out. Everybody see what's wrong, but the mama, you
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: see what's wrong. The girlfriend's he was wrong. Then I
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: understood that he might be ashamed, so you went in
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: there and tried to give him a pep talk. He
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: bowled up at me and we almost got in the fight. See,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: because he don't consider you his stepdaddy. You his peer
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: that came in here and scooped up his mama. This
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: little young dude in't here got my mama. She sprung
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: on this young boy. Now you in here trying to
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: tell me what to do. I'm surprised y'all didn't fight.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: I stay all my wife about pushing him out of
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: the nest, and she always got an excuse for allowing
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: him to stay. She's been enabling this boy his whole life.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: Now the girlfriend frustrated wasn't because I got pregnant by
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: this boy. You're frustrated with him because he a man child,
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: and she keep it getting making excuses for the man
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: child slash boy slash daddy. I hate to come up
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: and now his worthy man is right there. I hate
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: to come home see another man fixing and play the
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: food that I worked hard. That's real. I hate to
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: see another man lying on my couch watching reality shows
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: instead of looking for a job. That's real. I'm so
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: glad I didn't sell my house when we got married,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: because I may have to go back to my house
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: and let her man child run this one. See it
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: can be but two kings in the castle, see that,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: and that can only be one queen in the castle.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: Most women ain't gonna let another woman come in their
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: house and run nothing nothing. I don't care if she
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: just visited and a woman ain't even got to be married.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: You're not fit to come in my house and run nothing.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: The fighting is getting to me, and I told my
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: wife I might be moving out soon. She broke down
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: in tears, but still didn't have sense enough to greet
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: this time for a son to leave. Should I move
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: out and let my wife figure out if she wants
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: me or her son? Well I would. That's what I do.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: I let him make the choice, because I'm not gonna
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: keep making the choice. I'm not gonna keep coming home miserable.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: I'm not gonna keep coming home supporting this this boy.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: I'm not fitting to do that. He's enabling her. Surely
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: you made a statement, you know, and this is what
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: you made that the mother is saying, and you're right.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: She probably telling the man, well, where is he gonna go? Right,
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: as a mom, you know where is he gonna go? Well,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: I tell you where he gonna go. He'd go to
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: work that way he needed to go instead of been
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: here laying on the couch watching TV. Is that man.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: Please look, man, marriage is a contract between two people
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: that have to form a two handed circle. Your wife
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: keep wanting to put her son in the circle. Her
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: son is obviously incapable of running a proper relationship. He
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: can't even keep his girlfriend happy. She gone. Now he's
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: a father to be. What is he trying to do
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: about that? Don't seem like nothing because he watching TV
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: or laying on the couch and make him play. I'm
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: not gonna do that. I'll go to my house stay there.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: You know. Now you can come over here and live
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: with me and leave your man over there. But then
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: I'm not paying for that house that he's staying there.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: The twenty pandemic is over with. You gotta go get
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: a damn job. I don't care if you're working clicking
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: zoom buttons or whatever. It's a job out there, but
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: I'm not paying. And that's all I say about this letter.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: And the woman is dead, Yeah yeah, I mean the
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: baby mama is out. That should let her know something
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: right there. She does not want to be with the
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: trifling twenty eight year old father of her child. Yeah
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: all right, well, Steve, I think you know we said
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: it all for this one You can post your comments
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: on Today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey FM on Instagram
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: and Facebook, and don't forget to please check out the
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter podcast on demand now coming up at forty
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: six minutes after the hour. Let's see, Junior, what's it
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: gonna be? You got questions? Yeah, yeah, I got a
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: good question about what do you see? Okay, I've heard
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: it's allowed to write down. All right, we'll deal with that.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: We'll deal with this. At forty six minutes after the hour,
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: the newly married R Junior has some questions for for
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: Uncle Steve. Right after this. You're listening, all right, Normally
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: it would be Junior with sports talk here, but Junior,
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: this is like more like marriage. Yeah yeah, yeah, because yeah,
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: we didn't got our stuff into a little situation that
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: damn this sports Yeah I need him? Hell right. Then
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: you're just saying a lot of because you said just
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: the last segment, you know, I'm just knew it, this
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: marriage thing, and I want to get it right. I
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: really do want to get it right. You're just saying
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: marriage is a two handed circle form between two people.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: You were saying that it's just a contract. What you
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: mean like just only them to make the decisions. That's
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: why Marjorie made a commitment to one another. We formed
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: a two handed circle and we don't let nobody in
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: that circle make a decision. Our children don't make decisions
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: me and her, not about us. Now they old enough
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: to make decisions about their own life. But you can't
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: get in this circle. You don't vote. In hell, we
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: don't have a democracy at our house. We have a dictatorship. Dictatorship. Yeah,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: we have a dictatorship. And now, Junior, don't think you're
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: gonna be the dictator. Wait a minute. You you just
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: said that we have a dictatorship, but you just now
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: we have a dictatorship. You the ship with a p Yeah,
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: ship the ship? Yeah, the dictator? Kid is your wife?
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: You the ship? He loaded everything on that and you
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: carry it away. So so so so, like what is
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: your responsibility? Like, what do you have to do in
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: the dictatorship? You tell the kids what they're gonna do. Well,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: I'm the enforcer. I'm heavy. I enforce the laws and
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: the rules. I am the provider. That's just my job.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: I honor that I accepted. It's my privilege that a
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: lot of me and don't agree with that, but you
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: mayn't be in a situation. You don't have to be
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: the sole provider, but you're gonna have to be a
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: damn provider, now you got You can't just screwed up
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: to the table. You got to bring something to the table.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: So I'm not saying that all women need to be
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: at the house sitting down and let a man take
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: care of them. That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: a man has to be a provider. You got to
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: do something though. You can't hear your girl going out
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: of the house. You're sitting your ass at the house.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: Anybody fend to do that and playing this rain deer
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: game with you. Your job as a man is to
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: be a provider. You don't have to be the biggest
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: money earner, but you got to be an earner, okay.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: And so here's what I do for my wife. I
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: offer her financial security and I offer her security. I
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: am her protector. You don't want to talk to somebody
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: on the phone, give me the phone to me. Somebody
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: say something to you and you don't like it, tell
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: me what they said. Going over there, wait in the car.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: I got all this that's when I take all that on.
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, Thank you guys.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: We'll talk about a man who says his brother wants
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: to exume his dad's body. We'll find out why right
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: after this what you're listening to? Okay, Steve so Derek
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: on Facebook wrote a month ago, we held a funeral
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: for my father, whom my brother and I loved so much.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: My brother had a Rolex watch that my dad always
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: admired and joked about stealing from him. So at the funeral,
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: my brother put the watch in the casket and we
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: sent him on his way. So now my brother is
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: having second thoughts and wishes he had the watch back.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: And now he's asking me if I know anyone who
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: could exume the casket so he can reach treat his watch.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: Not only does it feel wrong on every level, but
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: I'm not even sure it's legal, and I don't want
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: any part of it. Okay, I want to I'm out. Well, then,
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: don't you know you can't have regrets about stuff like that.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: This is wrong that watch? Man, It's all right, you
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: can get another one you think I want to watch? Now?
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: After doing that with this, I know it's your dad.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: And I'm not trying to sound disrespectful, but your dad
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: has gone on. That was just his body that then.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: But you think I want this watch this it now
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: on the on the cofee. Yeah, I got to watch clean. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: I gotta get this watch clean now because I got
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: all the skin on it. I put this watch on.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: I know who it was on or did you lay
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: it in the cast? And man, you must be out
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: your mind. Let a job. It was a moment. Let
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: that gold Man hunt at the moment. Yeah, yeah, absolutely
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: he did the right thing in the moment. How long
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: is he at that casket? What was he do? Get it? Exumed?
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: Trying to get that watch? What I want to know
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: who's gonna stick their hand and get yeah, yeah we
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: do that? Who you mean you finn open that cash? Yeah?
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: Waving hold of women? Yeah. Wait, let me make sure
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: the DA you talk about what do exume mean? Get clarity?
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: Because I know you ain't. You ain't talking about old man.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: So you're gonna wait a minute, You're gonna lift the casket.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: You're gonna knock all the dirt offul then you're gonna
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: pull it out. Yeah, you're gonna use bunch of cards
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: or what. I don't even carer you know home deepo,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: you gotta go down there and get them straps because
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: mommy never had to get some strap when we move
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: that couch that time on top of your prius. Okay,
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: So now we're gonna get the We're gonna get the
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: casket out right, and then they're gonna it's gonna be
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: sitting there now. The watch is in now right right? Yeah,
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: you mean somebody gonna open that lead. Yeah. So for me,
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: what zumed mean at that point is as soon as
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: they open, I'm gonna exit. That's what that means to me. Okay,
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: now they get it open, right, No, we we still now,
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: we still still standing there and they're gonna daddy. Now
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: I'm telling you, man, uh, he don't look the same.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: And now that watch did you laid in now and
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: probably slid under. So now you gotta lift lift the
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: bottle of the course. You gotta lift movie. You see
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: where I'm going with just him and who you think
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: gonna move? Daddy? Leg out where you get you to watch? Man?
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: You man, you're gonna be out of here. Man. Bad idea,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: bad idea. Yeah, coming up in twenty minutes after the hour.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right

- 1:14:10Speaker 1: all right, and trending weird news. Guys, Douglas Ramsey, you
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: may not know him by that name, but Douglas Ramsey
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: is the chief operating Officer, the CEO of Beyond Meat.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: You've had Beyond Meat before. Well, he's been arrested for
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: taking a bite out of a man's face. Okay, he's
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: been charged with terroristic threatening to kill a third degree
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: and third degree battery. Ramsey and another driver escalated their
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: road rage and bumper a bumper traffic leaving the University
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: of Arkansas Razorback Stadium parking lot. Ramsey got upset at
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: the Suparu driver creeping into his exit lane. He jumped
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: out of his SUV, punched through the back windshield of
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: the Suparu, and smacked the driver. The two men fought
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: until the cops arrived. The police report in the kates

- 1:19:18Speaker 1: our last break of the day, and it's been a
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: good day, Steve. You got a little heated um when
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: we had our voicemail messages to you earlier today. It
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: was the first one was from this racist caller from Texas.
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: He was upset about our discussion on voting. He didn't
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: like it. Please you want to hear it. Here we
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: go a Texas. Listen to what y'all saying about all
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: you black Republicans and blah blah blah. Y'allso racist, like
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: you think voting for a hairsniffing pool is gonna benefit
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: your race only even if that was true, you're racist completely,
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: That's all I got to say. No, he does not
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: all you have to say you're It amazes me how
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: people and you could tell who he was. You could
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: tell he was a Texan, You could tell by his
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: voice who he was. And you, you people, you know
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: you got a lot of nerve calling somebody racist when
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: you create an atmosphere fill with nothing but racism. But
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: and if we're not all okay with it, then we
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: have to become racist. And yet we talk about voting
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: because you're voting has racist policies, because voter suppression feems
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: from racism because you can't honor the vote the way
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: it is, so you come up with voter suppression. And
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: you know why you won't voter suppression, mister Texas caller,
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: because you want the minority to control the majority, and
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: you do it by stopping them from voting, by using
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: oppressive tactics. I don't care if you think I'm racist,
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: because I'm not. But I do have the right to
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: respond to racism. See, if you give it to me,
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: I'm supposed to take it and not say nothing about it.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: And the moment I say something about it and point
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: it out, now I'm racist? Am I really? Or is
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: it you that don't understand why anybody like me would
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: feel the way I feel because you don't see nothing
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: wrong with it. You know why, because it's just a
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: regular day at the office for you. See, you get
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: to live your life any kind of the way you
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: want to and be anything you want to. You can
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: walk anywhere you want to wear. You ain't getting on
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: the elevator being the only one to escalate it, being
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: the only one. You don't even know what it feels like.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: So to have any empathy or sympathy or whatever the
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: damn correct word is, I don't expect any for you.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: But you're calling me racist. That don't hurt me at all.
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: And then when I give it back to you now
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: you want to call it out as racist. No, no, no, man,
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: your assist the racist. You the racist. Man. I'm reacting
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: to racism, So you can't call that being a racist.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: My reaction to you, my reaction to your call. Even
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: you listening to the radio show getting mad at me
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: for telling people to vote and calling out black Republicans
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: for voting the way they vote, because I know the
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: trick you're using. See you the minority, trying to control
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: the minority. But what better flip than to make an
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: actual minority feel like they wanted you. Oh my god,
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: Oh my god. That's the ultimate trick, master, that's the
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: ultimate masquerade. You the minority, convincing a real, actual racial
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: minority that they are now a part of you when
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: you don't give a damn about us nowhere history of
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: this country. But you want me to give the black
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: Republican or past or pass for what? Because that? Look, man,
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: I don't disagree with everything Republicans say, and I don't
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: agree with everything Democrats say. Let's be clear about that
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: if you want to know the fact. But if I
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: have to pick a side, I have to pick a
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: side that makes it better for the masses. And the
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: masses ain't the minority. See, brother, I know the trick
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: of the Republican Party. So you stand on welfare reform,
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: you stand on immigration, you stand on abortion, you stand
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: on anti gay rights. Okay, let's talk about this or
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: a second. That's what you stand on. Republicans are gay
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: people too. Herschel Walker is a proclaim a Republican does
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: he have any gay family members? So how solid is
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: his stand really? Because if you're willing to accept your
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: gay family member, why would you not give them rights
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: as a human being. Let's talk about abortion for a
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: second row versus Wade. Do not Republicans get abortion? Do
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: not women? Republicans have the right to decide what to
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: do with their body, just like the Democrat or the liberal.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: You don't think they want that choice. I think they do.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: But now we got a bunch of old ass white
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: men voting for it when they can't make a baby
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: or nothing of the sort. And then let's talk about
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: your immigration law. Oh, y'all want to protect the boarder.
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: Y'all want immigration law. Y'all a ones high them. See
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: these fields of picking fields with all this food in it,
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: all these farms, all this construction industry, all of this
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: labor in these restaurants that you all own, you all
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: on the fields to construction companies in the restaurants. If
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: you didn't have that labor for us, you'd have to close.
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: And last, but not least, let's talk about welfare. It's
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: more white people on welfare than anybody case closed. So now,
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: when you take a black person who is a minority
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: and you convinced them to be on your side, you
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: pulled the master trick. Problem me is Steve Harvey ain't
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: falling for the master trick, so you can miss me.
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: Don't ever call my show. No more with that unless
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: you want to get on the radio and have an
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: open debate, and the cussing you did on that will
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: be allowed in the debate. Now that's my damn closing
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: a bye, y'all have a good day. I will for
