Speaker 1: to turn out to turn the water to the water.
• 1:55
Speaker 1: Come come on your baby now. Uh huh, I sure
• 2:03
Speaker 1: will come on. And everybody you are listening to the voice,
• 2:07
Speaker 1: come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey,
• 2:11
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, man, got a radio show. Do you understand that?
• 2:15
Speaker 1: I'm telling you God been big in my life. God,
• 2:19
Speaker 1: God is a gentleman. You know. I want to I
• 2:21
Speaker 1: want to point that out to you. God is an
• 2:24
Speaker 1: absolute gentleman. He will not come in unless he's invited.
• 2:31
Speaker 1: He don't just barge into your life. He gives us
• 2:35
Speaker 1: the power of choice. You know. If you say you
• 2:38
Speaker 1: got it, I don't need you. He let you have it.
• 2:42
Speaker 1: If you say I need you, come see about me.
• 2:45
Speaker 1: He right there. It's just a real simple thing. Man.
• 2:50
Speaker 1: So always say to people this, if you've gotten yourself
• 2:54
Speaker 1: into something, and please know I have I man see that.
• 3:01
Speaker 1: That's why I'm so adamant about it because I've gotten
• 3:04
Speaker 1: myself in some circumstances and positions in my life. But
• 3:08
Speaker 1: I've been I've had some low moments, man, I've had
• 3:12
Speaker 1: some moments where I did not know what to do.
• 3:17
  Speaker 1: I didn't know what was next, I didn't know how
• 3:20
Speaker 1: to go about it. I didn't have no more ideas.
• 3:24
Speaker 1: I was stuck. I thought a couple of times, well,
• 3:31
Speaker 1: might not make it past this one. But then if
• 3:34
Speaker 1: I don't make it past it, what's gonna happen? And
• 3:37
Speaker 1: then I held on to this little thing that my
• 3:40
Speaker 1: mother kept talking to me about. She said, sometimes when
• 3:43
Speaker 1: you ain't got nothing else in you, just hope, she said,
• 3:48
Speaker 1: just hope it'll be all right, you know. And what
• 3:51
Speaker 1: I've learned in my life is that hope. It's the
• 3:54
Speaker 1: beginning of faith. Hope. It's just is there a possibility
• 3:59
Speaker 1: out there for me? I sure hope something happened. See hope,
• 4:06
Speaker 1: hope it's okay, man, Because like I said, for me,
• 4:11
Speaker 1: the way I've lived my life, hope was the beginning
• 4:13
Speaker 1: of faith. It was just the idea. It's just the
• 4:17
Speaker 1: thought that something could change from me, that something could
• 4:20
Speaker 1: be a little bit different from me, that maybe man,
• 4:24
Speaker 1: just maybe for some reason, I could be saved, I
• 4:30
Speaker 1: could be rescued. Things could turn around, it could head
• 4:35
Speaker 1: any other direction. Maybe I could quit messing up. Maybe
• 4:40
Speaker 1: somebody will forgive me, Maybe somebody will just say all right.
• 4:45
  Speaker 1: I don't know, but I can't count the times I've
• 4:48
Speaker 1: been in that position. But then once I hope a
• 4:52
Speaker 1: little bit, and then I remember. Also my mother, because
• 4:55
Speaker 1: she was a Sunday school teacher, she taught me the
• 4:58
Speaker 1: most valuable lesson I've ever learned in my life. Nothing
• 5:02
Speaker 1: has been greater in my life than my faith. She
• 5:05
Speaker 1: taught me to pray. Mamma used to say, when it
• 5:08
Speaker 1: get real, dog for your son, prad changes things, she said,
• 5:13
Speaker 1: when you seem like you lost and you can't finding
• 5:17
Speaker 1: your way, stop and pray, she said, because prad changes things.
• 5:23
Speaker 1: You know, when you get a point in your life
• 5:24
Speaker 1: when you've done all you can do and you can't
• 5:26
Speaker 1: do no more and you just don't know what to
• 5:29
Speaker 1: do next, she says, stop, So pray and combine that
• 5:35
Speaker 1: prayer with that hope that you got, she said, because
• 5:40
Speaker 1: that hope is the beginning of faith. She said. If
• 5:43
Speaker 1: you pray just hoping she's saying that God come through
• 5:48
Speaker 1: for you. That will give you confidence that he can
• 5:51
Speaker 1: do it again. And then after a while you quit hoping.
• 5:55
Speaker 1: She's saying, you started believing. She saying, that's when you're
• 5:59
Speaker 1: on to something. If you can turn that hope into belief,
• 6:06
Speaker 1: that hope into faith, that's that's the ability to believe
• 6:14
Speaker 1: in something that you can't see. But the key though,
• 6:17
Speaker 1: the faith is you're believing in something that you can't see. See.
• 6:23
Speaker 1: Hoping a little bit different from me now, I'm pretty sure.
• 6:25
Speaker 1: Like I say oftentimes to tell a lot of people
• 6:28
Speaker 1: who can explain this thing a lot better than I
• 6:30
Speaker 1: can to you, hope. It's just kind of I don't
• 6:33
Speaker 1: know how to I don't know how to say it.
• 6:35
Speaker 1: But I'm just telling you hope. You're just hoping it
• 6:37
Speaker 1: worked out right. You just have a thought in your
• 6:39
Speaker 1: mind that you know, man, whoever you are, or whoever
• 6:44
Speaker 1: you are, whatever you are, to me, God, I show
• 6:47
Speaker 1: hope something change. Hope helps. Man. If you ain't strong
• 6:52
Speaker 1: enough to have faith, have hope, hope, and then if
• 6:58
Speaker 1: you pray with some hope and God answers your prayer,
• 7:04
Speaker 1: then that hope gains a little confidence and After a
• 7:08
Speaker 1: while that confidence becomes faith. Now they're just hoping, but
• 7:15
  Speaker 1: I'm believing. I'm believing it's something that I cannot see.
• 7:21
Speaker 1: Faith has been the key to my entire existence, even
• 7:28
Speaker 1: when I didn't have any It was faith, as I
• 7:33
Speaker 1: look back on it, that has gotten me here, and
• 7:39
Speaker 1: not just faith, but my faith. See, you will only
• 7:44
Speaker 1: get to where you're going in your life based on
• 7:48
Speaker 1: your faith. See. A lot of people get the word
• 7:53
Speaker 1: faith confused, like what's your faith? And then they started
• 7:57
Speaker 1: going down this whole list of all these different religions
• 8:00
Speaker 1: out here. But really an essence, man, when I talk
• 8:04
Speaker 1: to people about faith, I'm talking to you about your
• 8:08
Speaker 1: your belief. How much do you believe in the unseen? See?
• 8:16
Speaker 1: Faith is the core of all that is happening to
• 8:20
Speaker 1: me today. It is the faith that I have in
• 8:24
Speaker 1: my relationship with God that enables me to just oftentimes,
• 8:30
Speaker 1: if I stay on the right course and believe a
• 8:33
Speaker 1: certain way and act a certain way, his blessings just poor.
• 8:40
Speaker 1: They just come. And it comes in a lot of
• 8:43
Speaker 1: little ways too. I've started to notice. See it ain't
• 8:46
Speaker 1: just a lot of people think blessings is money and no, man,
• 8:49
Speaker 1: that ain't it it's coverage. It's every time my plane
• 8:54
Speaker 1: lands safe. It's every time they predict bad weather and
• 8:58
Speaker 1: I get up in the sky that don't be no
• 9:00
Speaker 1: bad weather. You know this, This is favor. These are
• 9:05
Speaker 1: blessings that get poured out to me. Somebody call me
• 9:09
Speaker 1: and offer me something, not money, but an opportunity. See,
• 9:15
Speaker 1: blessings come a lot of ways. But once you tie
• 9:19
Speaker 1: into God, once you tie in and you start doing
• 9:24
Speaker 1: the best you can do, and you start asking for
• 9:27
Speaker 1: Him to make you a better person, to help shape
• 9:30
Speaker 1: and mold you into the kind of man or person
• 9:34
Speaker 1: that he wants you to be. You be amazed what
• 9:36
Speaker 1: God can do with you. Man, if you just invite
• 9:39
Speaker 1: me in and allow him to be a part of
• 9:41
Speaker 1: your life. I mean, what you got to lose out there?
• 9:44
Speaker 1: Come on? Why why would you not change? Why would
• 9:48
Speaker 1: you not allow God to be a part of your life?
• 9:51
Speaker 1: God got some big plans for you. If he didn't,
• 9:54
Speaker 1: you wouldn't keep waking up. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen.

Speaker 1: just say the other day? I do believe I read

Speaker 1: to do except vote for this ignorant ass rapper. Tell

Speaker 1: us how you really feel he's voting for someone who
• 12:55
Speaker 1: has a T shirt all day him day. Well, I'm
• 12:57
Speaker 1: time for this. Got to get someone in that who
• 13:01
Speaker 1: can beat Trump, not someone who thinks Trump is the

Speaker 1: it in the White housemakers dumb a state list than Trump,

• 14:45
Speaker 1: from Selena in Detroit. She says, I'm in my mid
• 14:49
Speaker 1: thirties and I started dating one of my good friends.
• 14:52
Speaker 1: After we slipped up and had sex, it lasted for
• 14:56
Speaker 1: over an hour, and afterwards I told him it was
• 14:59
Speaker 1: the best secon I ever had. I hate I even
• 15:02
Speaker 1: said it, because since then he's been trying to outdo himself.
• 15:06
Speaker 1: Each time we have sex. It's not even good after
• 15:10
Speaker 1: the first twenty minutes. And I don't have an extra
• 15:13
Speaker 1: one to two hours to have sex with him every night.
• 15:18
Speaker 1: I've asked him to keep it short and sweet, but
• 15:20
Speaker 1: he says he can't. How can I get through to
• 15:22
Speaker 1: him without hurting his ego. I don't know what to
• 15:27
Speaker 1: tell you. You know what I mean. You told him
• 15:29
Speaker 1: it was the best you ever had. Now he trying
• 15:31
Speaker 1: to make sure he don't let you down, and you
• 15:36
Speaker 1: ain't got a whole hour all this hill but he
• 15:39
Speaker 1: and that clown and now and the statement he made
• 15:42
Speaker 1: about he can't shorten it up. Oh he can't. Oh
• 15:47
Speaker 1: he can. But it's his ego now that's causing him
• 15:51
Speaker 1: to overperform and outdo himself. And now I got to
• 15:56
Speaker 1: tell you he can't keep this up right. He just
• 16:00
Speaker 1: can't normal. You know, that's every ninety and occasion and
• 16:09
Speaker 1: every night fifteen minutes. That's good. She's cool after twenty
• 16:14
Speaker 1: she's cool after twenty twenty. If you ain't, you ain't
• 16:17
Speaker 1: got what you need in twenty. You need to try
• 16:20
Speaker 1: another sport. You need to take up tiddley winks, up
• 16:25
Speaker 1: bad mining or something, because for you, you can't get
• 16:29
Speaker 1: yours in twenty that's your damn fault. What should she
• 16:33
Speaker 1: say to him, Steve without hurting him, it's ain't the
• 16:39
Speaker 1: game out or something. Stop. Let me see if you
• 16:47
Speaker 1: can get this in fifteen minutes. Go go, all right,
• 16:56
Speaker 1: all right, we're gonna move on. Kevin and Raleigh, North Carolina.
• 17:00
Speaker 1: Clo says, I have a situation that I need your
• 17:02
Speaker 1: advice on. My best friend is getting married in October,
• 17:06
Speaker 1: and I've slept with his fiance. But she doesn't remember it.
• 17:09
Speaker 1: It happened six years ago in a club. Yeah, after
• 17:13
Speaker 1: she had seven tequila shots and a little weed. She
• 17:17
Speaker 1: was with three of her girlfriends, and somehow we ended
• 17:20
Speaker 1: up having drunk sex in the bathroom. She had just
• 17:23
Speaker 1: met my best friend and wasn't serious about him yet.
• 17:26
Speaker 1: The funny thing about it is that she acts like
• 17:28
Speaker 1: she doesn't remember that night at all. Either she was
• 17:31
Speaker 1: very drunk or she's a good actress. Should I tell
• 17:34
Speaker 1: my best friend about it? This is a movie? Yeah,
• 17:38
Speaker 1: hell no, you shouldn't tell your best friend. And you know, dog,
• 17:41
Speaker 1: listen to me, because you ain't like the other letter.
• 17:45
Speaker 1: We just had the love the clo question. She you
• 17:48
Speaker 1: ain't made an impression. She might not even really remember you.
• 17:52
Speaker 1: You ain't doing nothing. So now you're gonna take your
• 17:57
Speaker 1: hurd ass feelers over there? Miss your boy up? No, man,
• 18:02
Speaker 1: that ain't right, dog. And if she could be pretending
• 18:06
Speaker 1: not to know it or remember that could be the case,
• 18:10
Speaker 1: or you didn't even last to the pression that she
• 18:12
Speaker 1: don't remember. Either way, what purpose is it of yours
• 18:16
Speaker 1: to tell your boy? Yeah, you just can't tell everything?
• 18:21
Speaker 1: What man? Come on, you're gonna go tell him that?
• 18:25
Speaker 1: Are you stupid? Man? Remember nothing? It is? Man? Yeah,
• 18:32
Speaker 1: it really don't do that? All right? That there's some
• 18:35
Speaker 1: stuff that everybody should take to the grave. This one
• 18:39
Speaker 1: of them right there. I got a bunch of them.
• 18:42
Speaker 1: That's all right, here we go. I got stuff, Tommy,
• 18:49
Speaker 1: I ain't gotten thathing I got to take to the
• 18:51
Speaker 1: grave because I buried all that stuff. It's already in
• 18:54
Speaker 1: a grave. It ain't coming back. Up. All right, clo,
• 19:01
Speaker 1: here we go. Johnny and Pittsburgh says, I'm a forty
• 19:03
Speaker 1: two year old single father of four, and I have
• 19:06
Speaker 1: a hard time finding a decent woman. I thought my
• 19:09
Speaker 1: children would run women off. But it's my looks. I'm
• 19:13
Speaker 1: a personal trainer and I'm in great shape. I'm bald,
• 19:18
Speaker 1: dark skin, and everyone says that I look younger than
• 19:21
Speaker 1: forty two. Women don't take me seriously. I always get
• 19:25
Speaker 1: accused of being a player. But if I'm not working out,
• 19:28
Speaker 1: I'm home with my children. I haven't been dating at
• 19:31
Speaker 1: all because of COVID nineteen. I'm ready for some female company.
• 19:35
Speaker 1: So how can I get women to stop looking at
• 19:37
Speaker 1: me as a piece of meat and really get to
• 19:40
Speaker 1: know me? I know you're mad, I tell you. First
• 19:46
Speaker 1: of all, right here, you said you thought your kids
• 19:50
Speaker 1: would run women all. Bertie looks, I'm bald, I'm dark skin.
• 19:56
Speaker 1: You fail to say you were a track He checks
• 20:00
Speaker 1: all the boxes. Though you can be bald, dog skinned
• 20:04
Speaker 1: and ugly now, but he's ugly. He didn't. He didn't
• 20:08
Speaker 1: say he was attract Oh see Shirley, Shirley, see some dudes,
• 20:15
Speaker 1: he thinks because he in the gym, he all yoked up.
• 20:18
Speaker 1: That that's it? Yeah, what Roman? You know? Running from
• 20:22
Speaker 1: that man? Get out of here. Dog, it's something else wrong.
• 20:28
Speaker 1: You might be cut up, you might be ball headed
• 20:32
Speaker 1: and dog tall, dog and handsome is a thing. Maybe
• 20:38
Speaker 1: you just two out of three. Maybe you just tall
• 20:41
Speaker 1: and dog. She tall and dog don't really get you
• 20:45
Speaker 1: that far. Now, party, all right, we gotta hello coming up, nephew,
• 20:54
Speaker 1: tell me who also thinks he's fine. He'll have that
• 20:59
Speaker 1: run back right after this. You're listening Stry Morning show.
• 21:06
Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, Miss Anna
• 21:08
Speaker 1: standing by with today's national news. And in trending viral
• 21:12
Speaker 1: video news Congresswoman Maxine Waters, did you guys see this?
• 21:16
Speaker 1: She stopped to check out to check on I should say,
• 21:20
Speaker 1: a black man when she saw him being detained by

Speaker 1: moment of silence, and then the late John Lewis was

Speaker 1: praised by Democrats like Sanford Bishop and Republicans like Tom Graves.
• 33:49
Speaker 1: The world is a better place because John Lewis spent
• 33:52
Speaker 1: his life pursuing freedom, justice, opportunity, love and peace for
• 33:59
Speaker 1: all humanity. I'm better off because of John Lewis. We

• 34:32
Speaker 1: and property damage, like he's already done in Portland, Oregon.
• 34:35
Speaker 1: It's mess over there. Trump's meant me mentioning also the
• 34:39
Speaker 1: cities of New York, Detroit, Chicago, Philadelphia as places he's
• 34:43
Speaker 1: thinking about sending federal troops in. But Chicago is going

Speaker 1: has written him a letter asking him not to do it.
• 34:51
Speaker 1: The nation's COVID death rates approaching one hundred and forty one.

Speaker 1: figure for at least six days, the last six days,

Speaker 1: DeSantis still plans to reopen the schools in the fall,
• 35:37
Speaker 1: even though the Florida Teachers Union is suing him to
• 35:39
Speaker 1: try to stop that. Teachers say simply not safe for
• 35:42
Speaker 1: them or the children to return to the classroom. President
• 35:45
Speaker 1: Trump is pushing for a payroll tax cud he wants
• 35:47
Speaker 1: in including the next coronavirus package, and now it's patriotic,

Speaker 1: We'll be right back. You're listening to show Okay, again
• 39:46
Speaker 1: we ask what is going on? On Sunday. In an
• 39:50
Speaker 1: interview with Fox News, the President continued to push back
• 39:54
Speaker 1: on efforts to rename military bases name for Confederate leaders.
• 39:58
Speaker 1: Take a listen, because I I think that Fort Bragg,
• 40:01
Speaker 1: Fort Robert, and Lee, all of these forts that have
• 40:03
Speaker 1: been named that way for a long time, decades and decades.
• 40:09
Speaker 1: Excuse me, Okay, what the military says, I do. I'm
• 40:12
Speaker 1: supposed to make the decision. Fort Bragg is a big deal.
• 40:16
Speaker 1: We won two World Wars. Nobody even knows General Bragg.
• 40:19
Speaker 1: We won two World Wars. Go to that community where
• 40:22
Speaker 1: Fort Bragg is in a great state. I love that state.
• 40:25
Speaker 1: Go to go to the community, say how do you
• 40:28
Speaker 1: like the idea of renaming Fort Bragg? And then what
• 40:32
Speaker 1: are we going to name it? Are you gonna name
• 40:34
Speaker 1: it after the Reverendell Sharpton? Wow? Wow wow wow. Oh,
• 40:44
Speaker 1: nobody asked him to name anything after. He's just, he's just,
• 40:49
Speaker 1: He's he's a child, very mature. Eric. Here here is
• 41:00
Speaker 1: a sad part of it. Here is the guy that
• 41:04
Speaker 1: America put in the White House. We have no one
• 41:08
Speaker 1: else to blame. I got that the electoral vote, did
• 41:11
Speaker 1: it that he lost the popular vote. I got that.
• 41:14
Speaker 1: But because the electoral vote is a part of our
• 41:17
Speaker 1: archaic system, because of the number of electorals and the votes,
• 41:22
Speaker 1: they put him in office. And I got news for you,
• 41:26
Speaker 1: there's a large number of people who want him back
• 41:29
Speaker 1: in office again. Yeah. Yeah, And this this is the
• 41:35
Speaker 1: sad part about it, man, This dude, it's not He's
• 41:39
Speaker 1: not presidential at all. You can't think he is. I
• 41:42
Speaker 1: don't care. Yeah, I have to. I have to correct
• 41:45
Speaker 1: one thing that you said. He he does think that
• 41:48
Speaker 1: he won the popular vote. He says because of voter fraud,
• 41:52
Speaker 1: he didn't win, but he thinks he won the popular
• 41:55
Speaker 1: vote too. He does, he cannot. He said, I don't
• 42:00
Speaker 1: even know who brag is. We have who brag is.
• 42:04
Speaker 1: The President also defended in that interview the Confederate flag.
• 42:09
Speaker 1: He downplayed its racist history. So I mean, there's no
• 42:14
Speaker 1: winning with this guy. Who up? Come on? Man? Yeah?
• 42:20
Speaker 1: That was like, yeah, really low blow. Also, the President
• 42:26
Speaker 1: said yesterday the coronavirus hold. Hold. Can I tell you
• 42:28
Speaker 1: what he said? What he meant when he said that,
• 42:31
Speaker 1: what do you want to name it after a black person?
• 42:34
Speaker 1: That's really what that statement said. He just picked one
• 42:39
Speaker 1: to accentuate what he was saying. What the joke was,
• 42:42
Speaker 1: What do you want to name it after a black person?
• 42:46
Speaker 1: I'm telling you, Manne that's it. Man, that was the joke.
• 42:52
Speaker 1: And so then when him and his friends get together
• 42:55
Speaker 1: on the golf course, it's no, no, no, no, no
• 42:58
Speaker 1: man Della yeah, man, Dallas what they wanted. No, no,
• 43:02
Speaker 1: no Garvey, oh no oh here, Oh, they'll name it
• 43:06
Speaker 1: Lewis Farakhan. I'm telling you, man, that's team holes. They'll
• 43:10
Speaker 1: listen to me. Man, they'll top each other. I've been
• 43:13
Speaker 1: around him, that's what they do. The danger in the
• 43:16
Speaker 1: statement he made was not just Al Sharpton. It was
• 43:20
Speaker 1: any black person. So the joke at the golf course
• 43:23
Speaker 1: is name a black person. That would be just as
• 43:25
Speaker 1: ridiculous if not. That's what the joke was. Yeah, and
• 43:29
Speaker 1: we can say this Revernal never owned any slaves or anything.
• 43:33
Speaker 1: So I would be fine if they named it Revernal
• 43:36
Speaker 1: Ford Sharpton, Yeah, Fort Fort Revernel whatever, yeah, whatever, Yeah,
• 43:43
Speaker 1: as long as we don't name it Fort Trump. Also,
• 43:50
Speaker 1: the president said yesterday that the coronavirus briefings will start
• 43:53
Speaker 1: back today at five pm Eastern. Uh did you see
• 43:58
Speaker 1: President Trump's tweet, it was a picture of himself. Now
• 44:01
Speaker 1: he's tweeting himself wearing a mask with the caption, we
• 44:05
Speaker 1: are united in our effort to defeat the invisible China virus. Okay,
• 44:12
Speaker 1: if y'all don't get out vote yea, yeah, we have to.
• 44:17
Speaker 1: And Carla, yeah, we said it earlier in the show
• 44:21
Speaker 1: that voter registration is down, Steve, so please get registered
• 44:25
Speaker 1: right now. Go to our forever first Lady Michelle Obama's
• 44:28
Speaker 1: voter Initiative white website when we all vote dot org.
• 44:32
Speaker 1: Coming up next, changing gears. Nephew in the building with
• 44:35

• 44:42

Speaker 1: minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today, subject why

Speaker 1: here and dig it up? Nothing? I I and I'm putting.
• 49:20
Speaker 1: If you don't fix, then we're both were going in
• 49:23
Speaker 1: the damn hole. That's what's gonna happen. We're going in
• 49:26
Speaker 1: that because somebody want to fix and put the room.

• 54:41
Speaker 1: We got it for you here. It is the Strawberry Letter.
• 54:44
Speaker 1: All right, nephew, thank you. Subject Why must he continue
• 54:47
Speaker 1: to text other women? Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been with
• 54:51
Speaker 1: my husband for six years and we've been married for
• 54:54
Speaker 1: two years. I have myself to blame for what I'm
• 54:57
Speaker 1: going through now because it was an issue before or
• 55:00
Speaker 1: we got married. My husband has a problem with texting
• 55:04
Speaker 1: and talking to other females. When I've addressed the issue
• 55:08
Speaker 1: with him, he always says, nothing is wrong with texting
• 55:11
Speaker 1: and talking as long as I'm not crossing the line
• 55:14
Speaker 1: or trying to date anybody. I believe that if one
• 55:18
Speaker 1: of the women he talks to or Texas comes on
• 55:20
Speaker 1: to him, then he will take them up on the offer.
• 55:24
Speaker 1: I have busted him numerous times, and then he'll block
• 55:28
Speaker 1: the lady's number, But he's so clueless. I can go
• 55:32
Speaker 1: to his block messages and still read those two. He
• 55:36
Speaker 1: will delete his text messages from the entire day before
• 55:39
Speaker 1: he gets home, and when I check his phone, his
• 55:42
Speaker 1: text messages, his text message and call logs are blank.
• 55:46
Speaker 1: If he changes his passcode on the phone, it's an
• 55:50
Speaker 1: immediate argument. The last time I called him texting a lady,
• 55:54
Speaker 1: I called her and told her he's married. She said
• 55:58
Speaker 1: she had no idea that he was married, and she
• 56:01
Speaker 1: said he never got inappropriate with her because she is
• 56:05
Speaker 1: married too. She apologized to me, and I told her
• 56:08
Speaker 1: no need. I just wanted her to know how my
• 56:10
Speaker 1: husband operates. I told her that he'd probably be reaching
• 56:14
Speaker 1: out to her again soon. She screenshot all of the
• 56:17
Speaker 1: textas he sent to her, and they were innocent. But
• 56:19
Speaker 1: I'm no fool. Isn't that the way it starts with
• 56:23
Speaker 1: an innocent text They get acquainted on the phone, they
• 56:26
Speaker 1: meet somewhere, and then bam, they're having sex. It's disrespectful
• 56:31
Speaker 1: and he doesn't see it that way. Isn't texting and
• 56:34
Speaker 1: talking a form of cheating? Or could I be overthinking this. Wow,
• 56:40
Speaker 1: A lot's going on in this letter. I'll start out
• 56:43
Speaker 1: this way and ask you, why are you questioning and
• 56:47
Speaker 1: doubting yourself? I mean, your instincts are good, right, and
• 56:50
Speaker 1: something doesn't feel right to you, and you've checked him
• 56:53
Speaker 1: on it several times. You've checked his phone, you've checked
• 56:56
Speaker 1: him in person when he gets home from work. You're
• 57:00
Speaker 1: checking his phone. You don't trust him at all, But
• 57:03
Speaker 1: I mean it's okay to check him. It really is okay.
• 57:07
Speaker 1: It's all right if you don't like him talking and
• 57:09
Speaker 1: texting to other texting other women. You do have every
• 57:12
Speaker 1: right to feel that way that you don't like it,
• 57:15
  Speaker 1: you know. So I don't think you're overthinking here. I
• 57:18
Speaker 1: think you are doing a bit much with taking his
• 57:21
Speaker 1: phone and all of that. But again, you don't trust him,
• 57:24
Speaker 1: and him as your husband should not ignore or dismiss
• 57:30
Speaker 1: your feelings, and he should not take sides with these
• 57:32
Speaker 1: other women. I mean, because that's what he's doing when
• 57:35
Speaker 1: he's telling you it's okay and all of that. You
• 57:37
Speaker 1: don't feel right about it, So why is he taking
• 57:40
Speaker 1: their side? The problem is that you said he did
• 57:44
Speaker 1: this before you guys got married. That's the problem. You
• 57:47
Speaker 1: ignored that blaring red flag. You ignored it. It was
• 57:50
Speaker 1: right there. You probably thought, like a lot of women,
• 57:53
Speaker 1: that he was gonna stop doing it once you got married,
• 57:56
Speaker 1: or he was gonna change. You know, we always think
• 57:58
Speaker 1: we could change the guy. This should not be an issue, though.
• 58:02
Speaker 1: I just really don't think this should be an issue
• 58:04
Speaker 1: because it's a small thing in the grand scheme of
• 58:06
Speaker 1: things for you and your marriage. I think your husband
• 58:11
Speaker 1: should give it up. I really do all that erasing
• 58:14
Speaker 1: text messages before he gets home and all of that.
• 58:17
Speaker 1: Come on, Who wants to go through that every day?
• 58:21
Speaker 1: But I guess he has to. If you're going to
• 58:22
Speaker 1: check his phone, he can put your mind at ease
• 58:25
Speaker 1: and you can really trust him again if he just stops.
• 58:27
  Speaker 1: It's one little thing. I think it's a small sacrifice
• 58:30
Speaker 1: for a happy marriage. And yes, to answer your question,
• 58:33
Speaker 1: there is a such thing as emotional cheating and all
• 58:36
Speaker 1: of that. You know, even if he is just texting
• 58:39
Speaker 1: and talking to a person, you know you're you have
• 58:42
Speaker 1: some sort of emotional investment in it. So if you
• 58:45
Speaker 1: don't like it, I think he should stop because you
• 58:47
Speaker 1: do not like and it makes you uncomfortable. Steve I
• 58:51
Speaker 1: really struggle with this letter on several levels, from her standpoint,
• 58:57
Speaker 1: from his standpoint, from their stand part. The subject is
• 59:01
Speaker 1: why must he continue to text other women? Let's just
• 59:05
Speaker 1: answer that question. Because he liked it, because it feel
• 59:10
Speaker 1: good to it. He is enjoying himself, He's getting something
• 59:16
Speaker 1: out of it. That's something he's getting out of it
• 59:20
Speaker 1: that he likes, and it's the exchange between him and
• 59:24
Speaker 1: the other women. You're not having trouble with him texting guys.
• 59:29
Speaker 1: You're having trouble with him texting women. Now, when you
• 59:33
Speaker 1: address the issue, he always say, ain't nothing wrong with
• 59:36
Speaker 1: texting and talking as long as I'm not crossing the
• 59:39
Speaker 1: line or trying to date anybody. Well, then later on
• 59:42
Speaker 1: in the letter, you say that he'll block a lady's number,
• 59:46
Speaker 1: But he's clueless because you can go to his block
• 59:49
Speaker 1: messages and still read them too. I've done is this dude?
• 59:54
Speaker 1: Then you say he'll delete his text messages from the
• 59:58
Speaker 1: entire day. When he gets home, when I check his phone,
• 1:00:01
Speaker 1: his text message and call logs are blank. Ain't nobody
• 1:00:05
Speaker 1: got to sell phone, Ain't nobody calling ass all damn day?
• 1:00:10
Speaker 1: So now, if it is innocent, like he say, if
• 1:00:14
Speaker 1: ain't nothing wrong with texting and talking, why you erase it? Right?
• 1:00:18
Speaker 1: It's not just because you'll see he'd been doing it
• 1:00:21
Speaker 1: all these texts ain't innocent. I can tell you that
• 1:00:24
Speaker 1: right now. Hold on, Steve, hold on in part two
• 1:00:28
Speaker 1: of your response, coming up at twenty three minutes after
• 1:00:31
Speaker 1: the hour, Today's subject is why must he continue to
• 1:00:35
Speaker 1: text other women? We'll be back with more of the
• 1:00:38
Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter Part two right after this. You're listening to
• 1:00:41
Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, come on, let's
• 1:00:45
Speaker 1: recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject why must he continue
• 1:00:48
Speaker 1: to text other women? He texting other women cause he
• 1:00:51
Speaker 1: like it, because he likes he's been texting him. He say,
• 1:00:56
Speaker 1: ain't nothing wrong with texting them long as he ain't
• 1:00:58
Speaker 1: crossing the line. You know, but you busted him several times.
• 1:01:02
  Speaker 1: He'll block a lady's number. But he's so Cluses clueless
• 1:01:05
Speaker 1: because I can go to his block messages and still
• 1:01:08
Speaker 1: read them too. I love her. Dam I didn't know
• 1:01:12
Speaker 1: that he had delete his text messages from the whole
• 1:01:17
Speaker 1: day before he come home, and when I checked his phone,
• 1:01:20
Speaker 1: the Texas and call logs is blank. Then if he
• 1:01:24
Speaker 1: changes his pass code on his phone. It's an immediate argument.
• 1:01:28
Speaker 1: This is a lot of stuff he doing, blocking, erasing,
• 1:01:33
Speaker 1: changing past codes for nothing. If nothing is wrong with
• 1:01:39
Speaker 1: texting and talking as long as you ain't crossing the line.
• 1:01:43
Speaker 1: But if you crossing the line, you got to change
• 1:01:46
Speaker 1: your pass code and you got the ratio Texas. Then
• 1:01:49
Speaker 1: he got real bold. One time you caught him texting
• 1:01:53
Speaker 1: a lady. You call her, told her he was married.
• 1:01:58
Speaker 1: She ain't, had no idea was married, and it said
• 1:02:00
Speaker 1: he never got inappropriate with her because she married too.
• 1:02:04
Speaker 1: Then she apologized to you and told I told her
• 1:02:06
Speaker 1: no need, I just wanted her to know how your
• 1:02:09
Speaker 1: husband operate. Then you told her that he'll probably be
• 1:02:12
Speaker 1: reaching out to her again soon. Damn you you know this.
• 1:02:22
Speaker 1: Then she screamed, shot all the texts he sent to her,
• 1:02:25
Speaker 1: and they were innocent. But I'm no fool. Ain't that
• 1:02:29
Speaker 1: the way it starts with an innocent text? She married?
• 1:02:32
Speaker 1: He mad both of them texting each other, why because
• 1:02:35
Speaker 1: they both like it. Then they get acquainted on the phone,
• 1:02:40
Speaker 1: they meet somewhere and bam, they have a sex. That's
• 1:02:45
Speaker 1: pretty accurate. See, yeah, that's where she said. It's disrespectful
• 1:02:50
Speaker 1: and he don't see it that way. Then you said,
• 1:02:53
Speaker 1: now you've said all this, and then you asked me
• 1:02:55
Speaker 1: and Shirley, isn't texting and talking a form of cheating? Or?
• 1:02:59
Speaker 1: Could I be overthinking this? Texting and talking ain't cheating.
• 1:03:03
Speaker 1: I don't think it's just texting and talking. What becomes
• 1:03:06
Speaker 1: to cheating? It's what you're texting and talking about. Yeah, yeah,
• 1:03:11
Speaker 1: it could be what you got on that cheating. Yeah,
• 1:03:18
Speaker 1: it's emotional cheating. What you wear. He let me see it, screenshot,
• 1:03:26
Speaker 1: shoot it to him. That's it. Kind talk girl, hold on,
• 1:03:33
Speaker 1: let me send you mine. That's it. Then the lady says,
• 1:03:37
Speaker 1: or could I be overthinking this? You overthinking it? You overreacting,
• 1:03:43
Speaker 1: he's overdoing it. You over you over everything. You gotta
• 1:03:50
Speaker 1: check his phone. He gotta block the messages, block the text,
• 1:03:55
Speaker 1: clean out his call, law, clean out his message law,
• 1:03:58
Speaker 1: change his past. Who you find it out? You found
• 1:04:02
Speaker 1: out a way to check the block text messages? Could
• 1:04:06
Speaker 1: I be overthinking this? All you doing is thinking? You've
• 1:04:09
Speaker 1: been told a married woman. He gon he gonna call
• 1:04:13
Speaker 1: you again. She sent you all the texts they had.
• 1:04:19
Speaker 1: But Steve, let me ask you this, why isn't it.
• 1:04:24
Speaker 1: Why isn't he trying to stop doing this since he
• 1:04:27
Speaker 1: knows it upsets her so much and knows that she
• 1:04:30
Speaker 1: doesn't trust him. Why he isn't he because he don't care?
• 1:04:35
Speaker 1: Do you care more about what he doing than her feeling? Exactly?
• 1:04:39
Speaker 1: That's simple as that. Yeah, I'm not gonna stop doing
• 1:04:45
Speaker 1: this because I like it more than I love being
• 1:04:47
Speaker 1: your husband. Right and the threat of you see, first
• 1:04:51
Speaker 1: of all, you've not threatened leaving him. All you just
• 1:04:55
Speaker 1: said is could I be overthinking this? You ain't threatened
• 1:04:58
Speaker 1: to leave. You ain't said this is unacceptable. I'm not
• 1:05:02
Speaker 1: going to accept this. I'm not taking this. You ain't
• 1:05:04
Speaker 1: said none of this. All you asked me and Shirley
• 1:05:07
Speaker 1: was could I be overthinking it? If that's where you
• 1:05:10
Speaker 1: act with it, why do you have to stop? Ain't
• 1:05:12
Speaker 1: no ultimatum, Ain't no consequences. Oh you just go overthink?
• 1:05:18
Speaker 1: I got you thinking now that you overthinking it? Checkmate?
• 1:05:22
Speaker 1: I win man. Most men are not married to you, lady.
• 1:05:28
Speaker 1: I can tell you that about this marriage is in trouble.
• 1:05:32
Speaker 1: Who is this on? Here? Wait a minute? What are
• 1:05:35
Speaker 1: your phone messages? Come on? Who you delete it? Hold on? Trust,
• 1:05:44
Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, Wait a minute, ma'am you say
• 1:05:47
Speaker 1: this is my husband? Yes, waiting my hold on, hold
• 1:05:50
Speaker 1: one just hold on, hold on one second. Herman, why herman?
• 1:05:59
Speaker 1: Come in to hell here? It's her? You know who?
• 1:06:04
Speaker 1: Her who? You've been texting herman? It's Barbara. All these
• 1:06:12
Speaker 1: is old ass people, yes, because they got old last names.
• 1:06:17
Speaker 1: Ain't nobody named named baby Bobara in a long time.
• 1:06:21
  Speaker 1: It's been a minute. When I come back, I'm gonna
• 1:06:25
Speaker 1: give you a list of names to let you know

• 1:06:40
Speaker 1: give us a list of names, like he said. Also,
• 1:06:43
Speaker 1: Junior Sports Talk coming up at forty six minutes after
• 1:06:46
Speaker 1: the hour, Houston Rocket star James Harden. Right after this,
• 1:06:49
Speaker 1: you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, for
• 1:06:54
Speaker 1: this Strawberry Letter, you were going to give us a
• 1:06:56
Speaker 1: list of names that lets you know a person was
• 1:06:59
Speaker 1: born on before nineteen seven. Okay, old name, you were
• 1:07:05
Speaker 1: born before nineteen seven? Okay, Patricia, my mama, ill Lords
• 1:07:18
Speaker 1: or Eloise Harriet, Yeah yeah, I gave you hermit oldest.
• 1:07:31
Speaker 1: Anybody come to see you, old body. We don't get
• 1:07:36
Speaker 1: any more oldest anymore. Claris clar Clarence Harpo. We didn't
• 1:07:49
Speaker 1: hear about that. Tilliss, Margaret, Yeah, yeah, yeah, Joanne Glad
• 1:08:07
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, Gwen boy. Carol's name Carolyn. I used to
• 1:08:13
Speaker 1: know these twins, Carolyn and Maryland. Both of them. He's
• 1:08:18
Speaker 1: are named to let you know you were born Befo
• 1:08:21
Speaker 1: nineteen seventy. All right, thank you, sir, Onto Junior. Now
• 1:08:34
Speaker 1: what's your guy for us? Junior? What's this about? James Harden?
• 1:08:36
Speaker 1: My city made the news for the wrong reasons. Houston
• 1:08:44
Speaker 1: Rockets shooting guard James Harden has a simple explation for
• 1:08:47
Speaker 1: why he sported a pro police face mask amid a
• 1:08:51
Speaker 1: national conversation over police brutality. He said, he just like
• 1:08:55
Speaker 1: the way it looked. I mean, that's all he said.
• 1:08:57
Speaker 1: It just it just looked good. What he said, I
• 1:09:00
Speaker 1: trying to make a political statement. But you did when
• 1:09:02
Speaker 1: you wore the mask, when you showed up to camp.
• 1:09:04
Speaker 1: What did it say? It was the mask that Blue
• 1:09:06
Speaker 1: Lives matter? Blue, its Blue Lives Matter. It's the it's
• 1:09:09
Speaker 1: the it's the mask, the U for Blue Lives Matter,
• 1:09:11
Speaker 1: for the police. He got one on and he black.
• 1:09:14
Speaker 1: What the hell? You know how much stuff you could
• 1:09:17
Speaker 1: have put on instead of this man. You could have
• 1:09:19
Speaker 1: wore a helmet in there, he said, it covered his
• 1:09:25
Speaker 1: face and his beard. That is not the reason. And
• 1:09:28
Speaker 1: we got all of this stuff going on over police brutality.
• 1:09:31
Speaker 1: Now you're gonna win in there. Way to go, James,
• 1:09:33
Speaker 1: way to represent Houston. We're not gonna win. That's what
• 1:09:38
Speaker 1: you got out of that, Junior. That's your tech. We
• 1:09:40
Speaker 1: might not gonna win. All right, Well, thank you, Junior.
• 1:09:45
Speaker 1: We appreciate that. Coming up at the top of the hour,
• 1:09:48
Speaker 1: Carlo's Music News right after this. You're listening, all right, Carla, girl,
• 1:09:56
Speaker 1: what you got in today's music news? Besides first of all, yeah, girl, guys,
• 1:10:05
Speaker 1: listen to this. Kanye you know, we talked about it
• 1:10:07
Speaker 1: earlier in the show, tweeting last night, tweeting up a storm,
• 1:10:10
Speaker 1: and like we said, it's really scary. He's just really unraveling,
• 1:10:15
Speaker 1: uh he one of his tweets, Yes, surely, Kim was
• 1:10:18
Speaker 1: trying to fly to Wyoming with a doctor to lock
• 1:10:21
Speaker 1: me up like on the movie get Out because I
• 1:10:24
Speaker 1: cried about saving my daughter's life yesterday. Uh NBC. Yeah yeah, yeah.
• 1:10:32
Speaker 1: When he talks about you know, he talks about abortion.
• 1:10:35
Speaker 1: He he talks about a lot of personal things, and
• 1:10:37
Speaker 1: I'm sure Kim was upset about that. He also tweeted,
• 1:10:41
Speaker 1: NBC locked me up, Bill, NBC locked up Bill Cosby,
• 1:10:45
Speaker 1: and then he tweeted, I love my wife. My family
• 1:10:48
Speaker 1: must live next to me. It's not up to E
• 1:10:50
Speaker 1: or NBC anymore. And you know, E News is obviously
• 1:10:55
Speaker 1: the network home to Keeping Up with the Kardashian's reality show.
• 1:10:59
Speaker 1: Yeah there, Yeah, he gotta he got a dollar back.
• 1:11:02
Speaker 1: Man got there, but he got it. He don't have
• 1:11:05
Speaker 1: enough people around him to pull him in and take
• 1:11:07
Speaker 1: care obviously not. Yeah, hey, bro, and the movie get
• 1:11:12
Speaker 1: Out was not about you, Kanye B. Listen to me.
• 1:11:16
Speaker 1: When you are the one making the money, paying the money,
• 1:11:20
Speaker 1: it's you easily have a lot of people around you
• 1:11:25
Speaker 1: who just go along with whatever you do to keep
• 1:11:27
Speaker 1: their lifestyle open, I e. The President. Haven't you seen
• 1:11:32
Speaker 1: this recently? This is the same example. Here's a guy
• 1:11:35
Speaker 1: who tweets stuff that everybody in his party knows it's
• 1:11:41
Speaker 1: the wrong thing to tweet. Everybody knows. His kids know
• 1:11:45
Speaker 1: it's wrong, his wife know it's wrong, his cabinet members
• 1:11:48
Speaker 1: know he wrong. But because he's the guy at the
• 1:11:51
Speaker 1: top that determines if they stay in power up position,
• 1:11:54
Speaker 1: guess what they're going along with it? And just to
• 1:11:57
Speaker 1: find it. How many press secretaries he didn't head and
• 1:12:00
Speaker 1: quit because it's hard to wake up and live every day.
• 1:12:03
Speaker 1: And this and this new girl he got, she gonna
• 1:12:06
Speaker 1: fall apart anyway. I noticed her eye lash the other
• 1:12:09
Speaker 1: day was a little off center. Yeah, Steve, I told y'all,
• 1:12:19
Speaker 1: didn't I saw it in Sarah Huckabee. I said, this
• 1:12:21
Speaker 1: ain't gonna work, man. This woman, I said, look, man,
• 1:12:25
Speaker 1: they don't look like they're doing good smooch. And this
• 1:12:28
Speaker 1: woman right here the other day, she normally keeps herself
• 1:12:32
Speaker 1: pretty well put together. I don't care for her thoughts
• 1:12:36
Speaker 1: at all, but she keeps herself put together. I saw
• 1:12:40
Speaker 1: that eyelash kind of not get put on all the
• 1:12:44
Speaker 1: way right. This is the beginning of the Oh, oh,
• 1:12:50
Speaker 1: she gonna last a while because she gritty, she real gritty. Yeah,
• 1:12:55
Speaker 1: and she really believes in Donald Trump. But this case,
• 1:12:58
Speaker 1: this will last. This could last up to election because
• 1:13:04
Speaker 1: she think it could mean four more years, but she
• 1:13:07
Speaker 1: ain't gonna make it, man, and you knows as you
• 1:13:11
Speaker 1: talk about that and all of us being heavy, I'm
• 1:13:14
Speaker 1: still looking at these Kanye tweets. So when he said
• 1:13:17
Speaker 1: that about his family needs to live next to him
• 1:13:21
Speaker 1: in Wyoming, is not up to NBC and E. So
• 1:13:25
Speaker 1: he he must be talking about he wanted them to
• 1:13:30
Speaker 1: move to Wyoming. But they're probably saying they have to
• 1:13:33
Speaker 1: stay in La because of the show, the show keeping
• 1:13:35
Speaker 1: up with because of the show keeping up with the Kardashians.
• 1:13:39
Speaker 1: This is really well, yeah, they say this is according
• 1:13:45

• 1:14:00
Speaker 1: in the middle of a serious mental health episode, like
• 1:14:03
Speaker 1: you said, and those around him have urged him to
• 1:14:06
Speaker 1: get help. But the decision has to be Kanye's. Absolutely, Yeah. Yeah,
• 1:14:12
Speaker 1: the Wyoming. He gonna walk outside and be outside trying
• 1:14:17
Speaker 1: to catch wolves one day and it ain't gonna go good. Yeah. Yeah,

• 1:14:48
Speaker 1: Now mental health is very serious. Well, you know what,
• 1:14:51
Speaker 1: what Kanye needs several things. This this this god he's
• 1:14:55
Speaker 1: been singing about. He got to go to him at
• 1:14:58
Speaker 1: moments like this. But Kanye, he needs two men in
• 1:15:01
Speaker 1: his life. He needs an older man who has been there,
• 1:15:05
Speaker 1: done that and can say yo, man. But Kanye needs
• 1:15:08
Speaker 1: a peer. He needs a peer, an equal. Yeah you
• 1:15:13
Speaker 1: know that dude, that where you're getting ready to do something,
• 1:15:15
Speaker 1: he goes, Yo, my man, you can do what Hold up.
• 1:15:19
Speaker 1: It's like, for example, whoever drove Kanye down to TMZ
• 1:15:24
Speaker 1: that time when he made that crazy statement on TMZ. Yeah, yeah,
• 1:15:31
Speaker 1: whoever drove him down there? See that ain't who he needs.
• 1:15:36
Speaker 1: He need that peer to go all right, Kanye, I'm
• 1:15:38
Speaker 1: going all right where we're rolling going down to TMZ

Speaker 1: and the car automatically just start slowing down. Where we're
• 1:15:47
Speaker 1: going down TMZ, TMZ for what, I'm going there and
• 1:15:53
Speaker 1: we're going in with Harvey? What what what Kanye? We're
• 1:15:58
Speaker 1: gonna go down there. What we gonna talk about on

Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show and trending viral video news out of
• 1:16:32

• 1:16:36
Speaker 1: in LA when she noticed police officers had detained a

Speaker 1: black motorist, so she stopped to monitor the officers and
• 1:16:44
Speaker 1: to keep them in check. Take a listen as Congress

Speaker 1: when Congresswoman Waters u tells bystanders that officers might give

• 1:17:19
Speaker 1: respect the fact that she's in her district, checking out
• 1:17:21
Speaker 1: what's going on in her district, serving the people, checking
• 1:17:25
Speaker 1: on the cops. Yes, huh, go ahead's right. Wires that
• 1:17:31
Speaker 1: is right, mean more than check. Yeah. And other entertainment news,
• 1:17:38
Speaker 1: Tamar Braxon, thank god, is reportedly alert and responsive after
• 1:17:43
Speaker 1: a possible suicide attempt, and she has been transferred to
• 1:17:46
Speaker 1: a new facility where she is expected to receive treatment
• 1:17:49
Speaker 1: for her mental health. Wow. Some good news is in there.
• 1:17:54
Speaker 1: For sure. She's responsive now because the police were called
• 1:17:57
Speaker 1: initially because she was unresponsive. Yeah, that's friend of the show. Yeah,
• 1:18:02
Speaker 1: prayers have been going up for Tamar and the whole
• 1:18:05
Speaker 1: Brexton family. Yeah, really good. All right. Um. Finally, in
• 1:18:11
Speaker 1: celebrity baby news, Nicki Minaj is pregnant. Yeah. She posted
• 1:18:18
Speaker 1: pictures of rumors have been flying about this forever, Now
• 1:18:22
Speaker 1: it's real. She posted pictures of her baby bump on
• 1:18:24
Speaker 1: Instagram and one picture Nikki is rocking one of her
• 1:18:27
Speaker 1: signature you know, I think it's a pink wig or
• 1:18:29
Speaker 1: yellow wig. A bikini and some clear stiletto heels. You
• 1:18:34
Speaker 1: know how she does it. The caption contains just one word,
• 1:18:37
Speaker 1: It says hashtag praggers. Uh. Then, minutes after she posted
• 1:18:43
Speaker 1: her maternity shot, she racked up two million likes and
• 1:18:46
Speaker 1: well wishes from her celebrity friends like I'll brace yourself,
• 1:18:50
Speaker 1: Tommy halle Berry, halle Berry with Hanney like it. I
• 1:19:01
Speaker 1: like it too, whatever I like. In October of last year,
• 1:19:05
Speaker 1: you recall NICKI married Kenneth perry Um, a man from
• 1:19:09
Speaker 1: her dast she had known Kenneth Petty, a man from
• 1:19:13
Speaker 1: her past. Yeah, that's so good for her. She looks
• 1:19:17
Speaker 1: happy too, Yeah, she looks happy in those videos and
• 1:19:21
Speaker 1: those That's gonna be a lot of babies next year
• 1:19:23
Speaker 1: because from March to night, it's been a lot of
• 1:19:26
Speaker 1: baby making. It was nine months from now, let's see,
• 1:19:33
Speaker 1: I mean from March. What was nine months from March December?
• 1:19:38
Speaker 1: Right March coming up. It's our last break of the day.
• 1:19:43
Speaker 1: It's the last break of the day. Yes it is.
• 1:19:46
Speaker 1: And at forty nine minutes after the hour, Steve Harvey
• 1:19:49
Speaker 1: will have some closing remarks for us. Right after this.
• 1:19:53
Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, here we
• 1:19:57
Speaker 1: are last break of the day on this Tuesday. Yeah, yeah,
• 1:20:02
  Speaker 1: can I do some clothing, But I don't think it's
• 1:20:04
Speaker 1: gonna be long, so we may have some time to
• 1:20:06
Speaker 1: kill if I don't use it at all. I was
• 1:20:09
Speaker 1: just thinking about this voter registration. Surely you were talking
• 1:20:13
Speaker 1: about how voter registration is down now. I would assume
• 1:20:17
Speaker 1: that it's down primarily because of COVID. I also think
• 1:20:22
Speaker 1: that voter registration is down because of the protest. I
• 1:20:26
Speaker 1: think that we've been busy quarantining and battling COVID and
• 1:20:32
Speaker 1: protesting and being appalled by the deaths of so many
• 1:20:38
Speaker 1: young brothers as usual, and I think the movement has
• 1:20:42
Speaker 1: taken up a lot of time. But now now that
• 1:20:46
Speaker 1: we understand what COVID is, that it's real, that it's
• 1:20:51
Speaker 1: not a hoax, and now that we've gotten some involvement
• 1:20:56
Speaker 1: from other people on Black Lives Matter, we have those
• 1:21:01
Speaker 1: two things that we have to continue to deal with.
• 1:21:03
Speaker 1: Got it. But we got something so important coming up
• 1:21:08
Speaker 1: in November that we got to get focused here, man,
• 1:21:13
Speaker 1: because we've got to turn this anger, We've got to
• 1:21:17
Speaker 1: turn this help from other people. We've got to turn
• 1:21:22
Speaker 1: this disappointment in our government. We've got to turn all
• 1:21:28
Speaker 1: of this hate mongering that's been going on for the
• 1:21:31
Speaker 1: past four years, and we got we got to do
• 1:21:34
Speaker 1: something to get rid of it. And the best way
• 1:21:36
Speaker 1: to get rid of it is to vote. Congressman Lewis,
• 1:21:47
Speaker 1: who gave his life for equality and rights. He spent
• 1:21:58
Speaker 1: his entire life fighting for our rights to vote, to live,
• 1:22:05
Speaker 1: to participate in the American dream, to be members of
• 1:22:10
Speaker 1: the Constitution, just on other error, on every level level.
• 1:22:16
Speaker 1: And we've all been paying homage to him and saying
• 1:22:19
Speaker 1: wonderful things about it. But I've always known the best
• 1:22:23
Speaker 1: way to show a person you love them is not
• 1:22:26
Speaker 1: with words, but with action. The thing that this man
• 1:22:30
Speaker 1: gave his life to for us to have a better way,
• 1:22:34
Speaker 1: better chances being beat to near death on the bridge
• 1:22:38
Speaker 1: in Alabama. I mean, these people exist, man and young
• 1:22:43
Speaker 1: people who don't know people who did stuff like that.
• 1:22:46
Speaker 1: That's why we talk about voting is our right, but
• 1:22:50
Speaker 1: it's our obligation because we have ancestors, four fathers, uncles,
• 1:22:55
Speaker 1: and aunts and grandparents who laid it all on the
• 1:22:59
Speaker 1: line just so we could vote. I mean, they called
• 1:23:02
Speaker 1: hell trying to vote, so for us not to vote
• 1:23:06
Speaker 1: it's it's an absolute disgrace. I got the numbers of
• 1:23:10
Speaker 1: loading Shirley's been saying. But there are things we can
• 1:23:14
Speaker 1: do when we all vote. Dot org is Michelle Obama's website.
• 1:23:19
Speaker 1: When we all vote dot org. I want everybody who's
• 1:23:23
Speaker 1: not a registered voter right now to go to when
• 1:23:27
Speaker 1: we all vote dot org. When we all vote dot org,
• 1:23:37
Speaker 1: when we all vote, it changes things. I want you
• 1:23:43
Speaker 1: on to just prove something to yourself. Just just try it.
• 1:23:46
Speaker 1: Just try it. Man. If all of us were to vote,
• 1:23:51
Speaker 1: do you know we would determine who was in the
• 1:23:55
Speaker 1: White House in November? If all of us vote. When
• 1:23:59
Speaker 1: we all vote, we move the needle in a mighty way.
• 1:24:07
Speaker 1: Don't you think we don't, Because that's why they covered
• 1:24:10
Speaker 1: our votes so so preciously. That's why they ask for
• 1:24:13
Speaker 1: it over and over and over again. Now when they
• 1:24:16
Speaker 1: get it and they get an office, they don't do
• 1:24:17
Speaker 1: nothing with it. I got that. But there are some
• 1:24:21
Speaker 1: people out there who is ready to change some things.
• 1:24:26
Speaker 1: This country is at a point where it can make
• 1:24:29
Speaker 1: a turn if we stay with it. That our corporations
• 1:24:33
Speaker 1: who are listening to us now. The NFL is listening now.
• 1:24:39
Speaker 1: Corporate sponsors are listening now. When that lady reported that
• 1:24:46
Speaker 1: phone call, that fake phone call to the African American
• 1:24:50
Speaker 1: man who was a bird watcher in New York, do
• 1:24:54
Speaker 1: you know her job fired her? Do you know how
• 1:24:59
Speaker 1: many times they've caught all people on tape making racist
• 1:25:04
Speaker 1: remarks and the company said, we don't support that, and
• 1:25:08
Speaker 1: they've let people go. There is a turn happening in
• 1:25:11
Speaker 1: this country. So since the turn is coming, why don't
• 1:25:17
Speaker 1: we help give it a big push in November. If
• 1:25:21
  Speaker 1: you're tired of what's happening in Washington, d C. If
• 1:25:29
Speaker 1: you're embarrassed by the things that this man has said,
• 1:25:33
Speaker 1: if you see the this divisiveness being spread by what
• 1:25:37
Speaker 1: this man tweets, and and chance and the rhetoric, if
• 1:25:43
Speaker 1: you're sick and tired of his followers acting like they
• 1:25:47
Speaker 1: better than you, we can do something about it when
• 1:25:51
Speaker 1: we all vote dot org. When we all vote dot org,
• 1:25:56
Speaker 1: I want everybody listen. Man. If you're not a registered voter,
• 1:26:00
Speaker 1: it's okay. Snoop Dogg said he voted for the first time.
• 1:26:04
Speaker 1: It's okay to admit that. It's no problem with that
• 1:26:07
Speaker 1: moving forward, though it will be a problem if we
• 1:26:10
Speaker 1: don't vote, because if you don't vote, I can promise
• 1:26:13
Speaker 1: you this cannot survive for more years of this guy.
• 1:26:18
Speaker 1: This guy is going to do some stuff that you've
• 1:26:20
Speaker 1: never seen done before if he doesn't have to worry
• 1:26:24
Speaker 1: about being reelected. We have got to do something. Go
• 1:26:28
Speaker 1: to when we all vote dot org and make this
• 1:26:33
Speaker 1: the year that we make the biggest difference in the
• 1:26:36
Speaker 1: history of politics when we all vote dot org. Thank you,
