- 2:03Speaker 1: will A good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: come on dig me now one and on it. Steve
- 2:09Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show. Okay, today is simple. I
- 2:15Speaker 1: got it together. I didn't have to. I gave a
- 2:17Speaker 1: little thought this morning. I actually got up in um,
- 2:21Speaker 1: I went to the gym and I make time for
- 2:25Speaker 1: that too. Man. That's but that that's that's that's that's
- 2:29Speaker 1: kind of what I want to speak with everybody about
- 2:31Speaker 1: today because I want to remind you and if you
- 2:34Speaker 1: haven't heard it, I'm gonna share it with you. I
- 2:37Speaker 1: want to tell you. I want to just talk to
- 2:41Speaker 1: you about effort today, just about effort, you know, it's,
- 2:48Speaker 1: it's it's it's a word that people use to describe
- 2:52Speaker 1: sometimes trying. But what I found out about trying is
- 2:56Speaker 1: trying is just a noble way of saying you didn't
- 3:01Speaker 1: get it done. I tried when and then everybody go, well,
- 3:06Speaker 1: he tried, that was the best. Well that's that's not
- 3:10Speaker 1: exactly true though, that that's that's not exactly true. You are,
- 3:15Speaker 1: and I want to talk to you about that because
- 3:18Speaker 1: I don't want you to be one of the people
- 3:20Speaker 1: who just tried. See trying, I mean, I gotta tell
- 3:26Speaker 1: you to it. To attempt something, you're gonna have to
- 3:29Speaker 1: first try, But I want you to change your mind
- 3:32Speaker 1: set from trying to getting it done. See, that's a
- 3:38Speaker 1: that's a big difference. When you say I'm gonna get
- 3:40Speaker 1: it done and when somebody says to me, I'm gonna try.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Those are two different people I'm talking to. I'm really
- 3:47Speaker 1: more apt to listen to the person that says to me,
- 3:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna get it done, because trying to me, I
- 3:53Speaker 1: know what that means. Man. And oftentimes when you've tried,
- 3:57Speaker 1: have you ever noticed that you've not got and it done?
- 4:01Speaker 1: It's because when you go in with the mindset of trying.
- 4:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna try. What try does is it allows you
- 4:08Speaker 1: to fail. Trying allows you to fail. Because if all
- 4:12Speaker 1: you're gonna do is try, anybody can try. It's the
- 4:17Speaker 1: person that has the mindset that I'm gonna get it
- 4:19Speaker 1: done is the person who changes the complexion of things,
- 4:24Speaker 1: who changes the outcome of thing, who gets a different results.
- 4:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna get it done. It's very different than I'm
- 4:32Speaker 1: gonna try. You know, Look, man, I know I know
- 4:35Speaker 1: this sounds a little harsh, but but you gotta stop
- 4:39Speaker 1: feeding yourself these little old wise sayings that ain't it
- 4:43Speaker 1: was a valiant tribe. Hey man, you talk to anybody
- 4:48Speaker 1: that took second place in the super Bowl and see
- 4:51Speaker 1: how they feel about their value. Try. The only way
- 4:56Speaker 1: to gain God's real blessings is you have to try something.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Stevie backpedalin. Now listen to me close. You have to
- 5:09Speaker 1: put forth an effort to to allow God to put
- 5:16Speaker 1: his finger on something to bless on your behalf. You
- 5:21Speaker 1: must start to attempt, now insane getting it done, And
- 5:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna try. That's a difference of two different faiths.
- 5:30Speaker 1: To me. That's I'm just talking about me. Now, you
- 5:33Speaker 1: may be different, so I can't. I can't say this
- 5:36Speaker 1: about you, but I can't say this about me. If
- 5:40Speaker 1: I say I'm gonna get it done, I have a
- 5:44Speaker 1: lot of faith in it. I am going to get
- 5:48Speaker 1: it done because I just don't see failure as an option.
- 5:52Speaker 1: A lot of times now, if somebody says to me,
- 5:55Speaker 1: like the Olympic team invited me out to curl one day,
- 6:00Speaker 1: just throw these stones on the ice if you're not
- 6:02Speaker 1: familiar with it's very simple, and so I said, man,
- 6:08Speaker 1: I'd like to give that a try. I went in
- 6:12Speaker 1: full well knowing I may not come away from this
- 6:16Speaker 1: little curling lesson as a person who could make the
- 6:21Speaker 1: Olympic team. I just wanted to try it because I
- 6:24Speaker 1: thought it looked cool and always wanted to get it done. Well.
- 6:26Speaker 1: I failed twice. I threw a stone completely into the
- 6:31Speaker 1: other lane. I lost that little ice shoe, it shot
- 6:35Speaker 1: out under me. But you know what, I kept trying though.
- 6:40Speaker 1: I kept trying until I got four of them stones
- 6:43Speaker 1: in that circle right where I ain't. But now had
- 6:47Speaker 1: I give it up after I failed, after I threw
- 6:51Speaker 1: that stone in the other lane, after I shot my
- 6:54Speaker 1: shoe down all the way to the bottom side of
- 6:56Speaker 1: the little ice shoe they give you. I never did it,
- 6:59Speaker 1: but because I was trying, something got me together a
- 7:04Speaker 1: little bit because of my effort, and it caused me
- 7:07Speaker 1: not to fall the next time, not to throw it
- 7:09Speaker 1: in the other lane, not to shoot my shoot to
- 7:11Speaker 1: the back of the wall. All of a sudden, my
- 7:15Speaker 1: trying became something. Now had I stayed out there and
- 7:19Speaker 1: it wasn't so cold, and I went back week after
- 7:22Speaker 1: week after week after week, I promise you I could
- 7:27Speaker 1: get it done. I could at least know how to
- 7:31Speaker 1: compete in the game of curling. Might not be the best.
- 7:35Speaker 1: I might not win the championship, but I could have
- 7:38Speaker 1: got it done to the point where I could have
- 7:40Speaker 1: competed in the game of curling. So sometimes if you're
- 7:43Speaker 1: scared to say I'm gonna get it done, just go
- 7:46Speaker 1: out there and get started. You know, learn from every
- 7:50Speaker 1: attempt that you make. See, don't quit writing yourself off
- 7:54Speaker 1: as a failure every time something don't go right. When
- 7:57Speaker 1: I failed on that ice, I could have said, man,
- 7:59Speaker 1: I can't curl, but hold up, man, I'm watching for
- 8:02Speaker 1: other women out here, curl, for other dudes out here,
- 8:04Speaker 1: carling little kids out here, Carling, hold up, partner. You know, man,
- 8:08Speaker 1: So I learned when I threw that stone on the
- 8:11Speaker 1: other ice, when I when I failed, when when my
- 8:14Speaker 1: shoe shot off. I learned from every attempt a little
- 8:17Speaker 1: bit more about it. And then I said to myself
- 8:22Speaker 1: at one point time, man, I'm gonna get the stone
- 8:25Speaker 1: in that circle. I'm gonna get this stone in this circle.
- 8:30Speaker 1: And guess what I got it done. Now what you're
- 8:33Speaker 1: saying to me, Steve, I'm saying to you that you
- 8:36Speaker 1: gotta get started, that you gotta put forth an effort.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Give God something to bless. Oh God, bless me, Oh God,
- 8:43Speaker 1: bless me. Bless you? What? Bless you? Where? Bless you? How?
- 8:49Speaker 1: Stop basing your results on what you're thinking. You gotta
- 8:51Speaker 1: think higher. You get God in your life, man, He
- 8:54Speaker 1: allows you to think higher, bigger, better more. Sitting up
- 9:00Speaker 1: in my debt, I came up with a plan to
- 9:02Speaker 1: get out of debt in five years. I came up
- 9:04Speaker 1: with this plan right. I was sitting up and I
- 9:06Speaker 1: was tripping on it. Now I said, wait a minute, man,
- 9:09Speaker 1: hold up, and this is what I came up with.
- 9:12Speaker 1: I said, God created heaven and earth, all of it.
- 9:18Speaker 1: The mountains, the skied, the valleys, the oceans, trees, the birds,
- 9:24Speaker 1: all of this. Man, Mount Everest, the Gobi Desert, the
- 9:30Speaker 1: Indian Ocean, all of it. Made all of it in
- 9:33Speaker 1: six days, and then he rested on the seventh. So
- 9:39Speaker 1: why am I taking to God the five year plan?
- 9:44Speaker 1: If he can create heaven and earth in six days,
- 9:48Speaker 1: why am I walking in there talking about helped me
- 9:51Speaker 1: in five years? How is it gonna take God five
- 9:55Speaker 1: years to getting me out of debt? And he made
- 9:59Speaker 1: heaven and earth and sick days? Do the math? Hill, Man,
- 10:02Speaker 1: I ain't that big. You ain't that big. You ain't
- 10:06Speaker 1: in that much trouble. I ain't in that much trouble. See,
- 10:09Speaker 1: God got a way of showing you some things, man,
- 10:12Speaker 1: but it's gonna take some faith, and faith gonna take
- 10:15Speaker 1: some effort on your part. Man, get out and do something. Man,
- 10:18Speaker 1: you God to bless you a little bit and give
- 10:21Speaker 1: you a little bit more courage. And then all them
- 10:23Speaker 1: attempts you making is gonna and all that. So I'll try.
- 10:26Speaker 1: You know what that turned into. I'm gonna get it done.
- 10:28Speaker 1: And at the end of the day, that's what you
- 10:31Speaker 1: have to do, because trying to pay your rent and
- 10:34Speaker 1: not paying your rent. It's two different things. You could
- 10:37Speaker 1: you can try to play your pay your rent, or
- 10:39Speaker 1: you can get it done. Now, how long you think
- 10:41Speaker 1: you're gonna stay in that house trying? You got to
- 10:44Speaker 1: go with the mindset of getting it done. And if
- 10:46Speaker 1: you can put some stuff out there and give God
- 10:48Speaker 1: a chance to put his finger on and bless it
- 10:50Speaker 1: for you the most stuff he can do for you.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Quit looking around whether everybody else got gonna get some
- 10:55Speaker 1: of it for yourself. Okay, all right, you're listening Morning show.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Here we go off and running the greatest radio show
- 11:11Speaker 1: on Earth. Shirley straw Bailey, Hello, Good morning, Steve Harvey.
- 11:15Speaker 1: You're calling Ferrara, Good morning. What's up? Crow? They ain't none?
- 11:20Speaker 1: Why did Junior want it up? What's up? Little pill? Nothing? Mate?
- 11:25Speaker 1: What's up? Jake? What up? Steve? Have it going on
- 11:30Speaker 1: with your Tom Tom? Uncle? Uncle? Top of the morning, Baby,
- 11:34Speaker 1: Welcome back to the ride. Man, Yeah, man, yeah, it's
- 11:38Speaker 1: all good. What you shoot over there? You know I
- 11:41Speaker 1: want to ask shot? I know them play. We want
- 11:44Speaker 1: the oh, we want the golf tournament. You want? Yeah, yeah,
- 11:48Speaker 1: yeah they won, Yeah, they want blueco Quick, great Calhoun
- 11:53Speaker 1: and Cody Matthews. Isn't he a pro? Seve, No, he's
- 11:57Speaker 1: not a pro, but he's a caddy. He's a caddy
- 11:59Speaker 1: at looking here. So why wouldn't you win with that
- 12:03Speaker 1: kind of that kind of heat on your brain? Who
- 12:08Speaker 1: you want? You know? One thing about it? He only
- 12:12Speaker 1: get one shot per per you know, just like everybody else,
- 12:16Speaker 1: and no mulla gets out there. Yeah but how does
- 12:17Speaker 1: that look? It's your tournament and you win, first pride
- 12:21Speaker 1: you gave yourself, have you on the phone, But then
- 12:26Speaker 1: you celebrate that he got a group that play boys
- 12:31Speaker 1: from Dallas win every year. Yeah. But if we're talking
- 12:35Speaker 1: about believable skull, yeah, my golf tournament down in the
- 12:39Speaker 1: dr So yeah, so no, I hadn't problem yea, and
- 12:45Speaker 1: the winning congratulate me and my team. Come on up here.
- 12:50Speaker 1: They look so lovely. Don't people so mad at you?
- 12:55Speaker 1: But it was a good time had by all? Steve Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 12:59Speaker 1: you know what, it was really really a hugely successful event.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Ask anybody now, what's amazing though? At the people overjoyed
- 13:09Speaker 1: with whateppen? It's always one person. So whatever, But you
- 13:12Speaker 1: know what I learned, or you just can't make everybody happy.
- 13:15Speaker 1: I don't care what you do. It's what my father
- 13:19Speaker 1: das man. Are you just you know what my father said,
- 13:27Speaker 1: stay out of the butt kissing business. He didn't say,
- 13:31Speaker 1: but but it's earlier. Stay out the butt kissing business, son,
- 13:36Speaker 1: because everybody ain't gonna like the way you kiss it.
- 13:40Speaker 1: So I'm gonna want more on the left side, something
- 13:43Speaker 1: gonna want it right up on the decrease, something gonna
- 13:45Speaker 1: want it more right down the middle. So don't get
- 13:49Speaker 1: into but kissing behind because no matter how you do it,
- 13:53Speaker 1: somebody ain't gonna like it. And I've always thought about that,
- 13:57Speaker 1: so I ain't in that. Lady stopped me and told me, Adam.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Lady told me, also, take that s off your face.
- 14:04Speaker 1: That ain't you look. Oh yeah, yeah, take that off
- 14:11Speaker 1: your face. That ain't your look. And then I looked
- 14:13Speaker 1: up and down, yeah yeah, saying something awesome, Oh but
- 14:20Speaker 1: that's your look. Okay. But you know, it amazes me,
- 14:24Speaker 1: Steve that people think that they could just come up
- 14:26Speaker 1: to you and say anything. All right, listen, football is back,
- 14:32Speaker 1: all right, football is back, and people are supporting Nike
- 14:36Speaker 1: with the whole Colin Kaepernick as I love it. Coming
- 14:39Speaker 1: up at thirty two after the hour, we'll talk about
- 14:42Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening to Steve Morning Show. Well, guys, guys,
- 14:49Speaker 1: guys on the show and of course the ladies to
- 14:51Speaker 1: Tonight is the opening season of NFL football. It counting
- 15:00Speaker 1: down by cricket, were watching it. The Atlanta Falcons will
- 15:07Speaker 1: take on the world champion let me say this again,
- 15:10Speaker 1: the world champion super Bowl. Steve Harvey, Philadelphia Eagles. So, Steve,
- 15:18Speaker 1: how are you feeling about that? You're good? Yeah, I'm
- 15:21Speaker 1: the Browns. Are you excited at football? Is? Come on? Now?
- 15:27Speaker 1: You don't know what the Browns gonna do? He got
- 15:32Speaker 1: you to say, it's been going on in the en.
- 15:36Speaker 1: I don't know what you want me to do? All
- 15:41Speaker 1: like that. Every year, Hey, here we are, you know,
- 15:51Speaker 1: I'm just all I want to win this year. My prayer. Yeah,
- 15:57Speaker 1: but the Browns, yeah, the Marck this down, okay, my prayer.
- 16:04Speaker 1: It's minimum six wins. Then when anything year before? Either?
- 16:13Speaker 1: I can I talk to the Brown fan. We're here
- 16:15Speaker 1: with the Brown fan. We're here with the number one
- 16:20Speaker 1: Brown fan everybody, and we're talking we're ready for a
- 16:22Speaker 1: big season. What can we expect this year, sir? Well,
- 16:25Speaker 1: you know what, we always extract this just a win
- 16:30Speaker 1: this year. We're not looking for much. We don't even
- 16:33Speaker 1: we're not We definitely ain't looking at super Bowl. We
- 16:37Speaker 1: don't even know what the trophy gonna look like. We
- 16:41Speaker 1: ain't we ain't praying, no trips to We don't even
- 16:43Speaker 1: know what you bow at this year? What? What? What
- 16:46Speaker 1: would be your first prayer in the locker room for
- 16:48Speaker 1: the first game? How how that prayer? Give us a
- 16:51Speaker 1: little simple of that prayer? Dear Lord, forgive us for
- 16:57Speaker 1: our past transgressions. Is obviously these past two years was
- 17:02Speaker 1: swan some type of punishment. We have learned. Our lesson
- 17:07Speaker 1: win unleashed the cracking upon this team. Okay, un curse,
- 17:17Speaker 1: released the damn nation that has been placed on the
- 17:22Speaker 1: city of Cleveland and this football team. Father, we're asking
- 17:27Speaker 1: these things in your name. Give us a win, give
- 17:32Speaker 1: us a win. We don't kill Wein question is when
- 17:40Speaker 1: you make your first touchdown this year, what kind of
- 17:43Speaker 1: celebration you have playing well, I wasn't talking it over
- 17:46Speaker 1: with the playoffs. We need to do something really really
- 17:49Speaker 1: special to draw attention to this first touchdown. I think
- 17:53Speaker 1: whoever make the touchdown or to take their helmet off,
- 17:58Speaker 1: pull a pass down in the deficate with the hair red,
- 18:17Speaker 1: you really want them to bring attention to this first
- 18:19Speaker 1: touchdown to let y'all know that the sugar un well, okay,
- 18:31Speaker 1: thank you, yeah, thank you. There's no right there. I
- 18:38Speaker 1: feel about the Uh, well, we're we want to talk
- 18:41Speaker 1: to Steve again. We're talking about other sports news. Colin
- 18:45Speaker 1: Kaepernick's new Nike ad. Okay, this is greatness right here.
- 18:48Speaker 1: It features a black and white close up of his
- 18:50Speaker 1: face with the words believe in something, even if it
- 18:54Speaker 1: means sacrificing everything. Now, the ad is evoked strong emotion,
- 18:59Speaker 1: Steve on both sides of the issue of kneeling during
- 19:02Speaker 1: the national anthem to protest racism, police brutality, and social injustice.
- 19:07Speaker 1: That is why we kneel, Okay, no other reason. UH.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Athletes like Lebron James, Kevin Durant, and even Tom Brady
- 19:14Speaker 1: are in support of the ad now. Meanwhile, the National
- 19:17Speaker 1: Association of Police Organizations fired off a letter to Nike
- 19:21Speaker 1: chairman and CEO Mike Parker, saying that they are going
- 19:25Speaker 1: to call for a boycott of all products the way
- 19:28Speaker 1: they see it, featuring um Colin Kaepernick is a slap
- 19:31Speaker 1: in the face to those who actually sacrifice their lives
- 19:34Speaker 1: for this country. Again, that is not why we are kneeling, uh, Steve.
- 19:39Speaker 1: You know people are burning their Nike tennis shoes as
- 19:41Speaker 1: a protest. Yeah, and I've also a shout out to
- 19:45Speaker 1: Nike for the Serena Williams commercial featuring her dad listen
- 19:50Speaker 1: to me doing it. The President has successfully changed the
- 19:54Speaker 1: narrative of what this young man actually did, change the
- 19:58Speaker 1: narrative of why all NFL players are on their need
- 20:02Speaker 1: to draw attention to social injustice in this country when
- 20:06Speaker 1: it comes to the plight of black men and police brutality. Now,
- 20:13Speaker 1: that's what it's about. It's not saying that all police
- 20:17Speaker 1: are bad police officers, because that is not true. The
- 20:20Speaker 1: majority of police officers are great men and women. So
- 20:24Speaker 1: that's not what it's about. It has no disrespect to
- 20:27Speaker 1: the military at all. It's not about any of that.
- 20:32Speaker 1: What they want, what I want, what so many other
- 20:36Speaker 1: people want. It's for this national anthem to be inclusive
- 20:41Speaker 1: of all people. So to stand and sing it it
- 20:45Speaker 1: should mean the same for everybody. That's singing it. It
- 20:50Speaker 1: should not be meaningless to those who have to stand
- 20:54Speaker 1: there and here being played, and it has nothing at
- 20:58Speaker 1: all to do with this respect of the military. That's
- 21:02Speaker 1: not what it was. That a president has chimed in,
- 21:06Speaker 1: as he always does, about insignificant things that shouldn't even
- 21:11Speaker 1: be on his plate because he got a country to run,
- 21:14Speaker 1: which he don't do because he's too busy watching TV
- 21:19Speaker 1: looking at Roseanne and following what Snoop said in tweeting.
- 21:24Speaker 1: So here we have it. I think Nike did a
- 21:28Speaker 1: bold thing. I'm gonna give you another fact about what
- 21:31Speaker 1: Nike did and how it made a lot of sense.
- 21:34Speaker 1: All Right, we can still talk about it all the morning.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Steve out of something funny. I mean, I did want
- 21:40Speaker 1: to hear Moose coming up next run that prank back
- 21:43Speaker 1: with the King of Pranks, the Nephew. Yeah, right after this,
- 21:47Speaker 1: you're listening to show Coming up at the top of
- 21:52Speaker 1: the hour, we'll have some entertainment news. We'll talk about
- 21:55Speaker 1: the conclusion of the Bobby Brown story and uh in
- 21:58Speaker 1: national news, plus the latest from the White House, and
- 22:01Speaker 1: more drama surrounding Judge Brett Cavanaugh Supreme Court confirmation. Hearings.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Right now, it's time for the nephew to run that
- 22:08Speaker 1: break back. Let me tell you that's he gonna get confirmed.
- 22:12Speaker 1: That's done. Oh Brett Havana, Yeah, that's the president. Unless
- 22:16Speaker 1: they say something really crazy, he gonna get ain't say
- 22:20Speaker 1: nothing more crazy than the president. What else? What? What? What? No?
- 22:24Speaker 1: I mean? You know what I mean? The President called
- 22:26Speaker 1: Jeff's sessions retarded. Yeah he did. Ye excuse me, doc
- 22:34Speaker 1: if I say that on my TV show. Yes, me
- 22:41Speaker 1: and my wife was talking to each other, said it
- 22:46Speaker 1: in passing and called hell for that to the president.
- 22:53Speaker 1: It don't make no dangn sense. Man, what we've allowed
- 22:56Speaker 1: just due to get away with. But I'm explaining to
- 22:59Speaker 1: you why it gets away. We haven't allowed it, No,
- 23:01Speaker 1: not us. We've been calling him money. But I take
- 23:04Speaker 1: you up, Black Trump with a nick. I got away
- 23:07Speaker 1: with Dad. But we gotta show him. We gotta show
- 23:12Speaker 1: him when we vote in the midterm elections. Come on, nephew,
- 23:15Speaker 1: what you got for the prank today? Running back? It's
- 23:17Speaker 1: the bobber shop. If you can't talk straight at the
- 23:19Speaker 1: bob shop, where can you talk straight? Here? It is Brady?
- 23:24Speaker 1: How are you doing? Man? My name is Dennis Man.
- 23:25Speaker 1: I got a hair cut from you a couple of
- 23:27Speaker 1: weeks ago. Yeah, hey, listen, um, I wanted to get
- 23:31Speaker 1: an appointment with you man. Uh Like I said, I
- 23:33Speaker 1: was there a couple of weeks ago. Man, my first
- 23:35Speaker 1: time getting had cut from you did real, real good jobs.
- 23:38Speaker 1: I want to say thank you for that. All right? Okay,
- 23:41Speaker 1: do you have any um any time available on Thursday? Yeah? Yeah,
- 23:46Speaker 1: for sure. What's what's what's your name here? Bro, Dennis Man? Dennis? Okay, Dennis, Well, Dennis,
- 23:55Speaker 1: about three o'clock man, something of that nature. I mean,
- 23:57Speaker 1: you know, I only work appointments, you know. Okay, three
- 24:00Speaker 1: o'clock you'll be there. Okay, Hey, I got a little
- 24:04Speaker 1: bit of situation though, man. That happened last time I
- 24:07Speaker 1: was there. I kind of wanted to talk to your
- 24:09Speaker 1: body man, because it kind of called me off guard.
- 24:12Speaker 1: So I wanted to how let you man and see
- 24:15Speaker 1: if we could rectify the problem. For I came back
- 24:18Speaker 1: up there. What happened? Some dispect your something? I mean,
- 24:20Speaker 1: what else to do? What? What? Um? It really was somebody, man?
- 24:25Speaker 1: It was it? It was it was actually you whoa
- 24:30Speaker 1: here's deal man? When you was cutting my hair when
- 24:32Speaker 1: it when it was time to turn the chair, you
- 24:36Speaker 1: didn't turn the chair with with with with with your
- 24:39Speaker 1: hand man. See Brady, man, you you turned the chair
- 24:42Speaker 1: with your with your private part. Oh, come on safe.
- 24:47Speaker 1: I mean I'm a professional man. I've been doing the
- 24:49Speaker 1: fifteen years right right. I don't think it's anything deliberate. Man.
- 24:53Speaker 1: I think you just do it unconsciously, man, because you
- 24:56Speaker 1: know you'd be leaning over on the chair cutting, and
- 24:58Speaker 1: I think you don't realize, you know, you'd be turning
- 25:01Speaker 1: the chair with your private part instead of doing it
- 25:04Speaker 1: with your hand man. And see, my hand got caught
- 25:07Speaker 1: out there, and I saw it out the corner of
- 25:09Speaker 1: my eyes. I saw your private part coming towards my hand.
- 25:11Speaker 1: I moved it just in time. You understand, but not
- 25:15Speaker 1: not see? Then I'm not understanding something. But because I don't,
- 25:19Speaker 1: I don't. We don't operate like that, mind, yes, because
- 25:21Speaker 1: you know I don't make mistakes like that. But I mean,
- 25:24Speaker 1: you know I don't know you. You're sure you're talking
- 25:26Speaker 1: to the right person, man, Yeah, I mean, ain't you
- 25:28Speaker 1: the third chair on the right when you walk in
- 25:30Speaker 1: the door. Yeah, that's correct, Okay, that what I'm talking about, man,
- 25:33Speaker 1: and you cut me two weeks ago, and like I said,
- 25:36Speaker 1: I really like my hair cut, so I wanted to
- 25:37Speaker 1: call back and rectify this problem. But you know, you
- 25:40Speaker 1: gotta turn the chair with your hand and not your
- 25:42Speaker 1: pride part. If not, we're gonna have a problem. Okay, bro,
- 25:45Speaker 1: Now I feel it, and I understand your your complaint
- 25:49Speaker 1: and everything. I mean, I'm not understanding what you're saying,
- 25:52Speaker 1: but I don't do that, you know, I mean, we
- 25:54Speaker 1: we will be glad to you know what I'm thinking,
- 25:56Speaker 1: you know, the cutter whatever. You understand me, you know,
- 25:59Speaker 1: but I don't move nobody around with my priva. Man,
- 26:03Speaker 1: that's just not being Okay. I understand what you're saying,
- 26:06Speaker 1: but I want you to hear what I'm saying. If
- 26:08Speaker 1: you put your private on there at all when I
- 26:12Speaker 1: come in there Thursday, then I promise you're gonna jump
- 26:15Speaker 1: up and we're gonna have a problem. Who what let's
- 26:17Speaker 1: see now now now right there, And I'm not I'm
- 26:21Speaker 1: not feeling that jump up having a problem because you know,
- 26:23Speaker 1: you don't really know me like that. But you know
- 26:25Speaker 1: what I mean, I'm trying to be a professional here
- 26:27Speaker 1: and and solve your little issue that you got your understanding,
- 26:30Speaker 1: but I was jumping up and stuff you're talking about doing.
- 26:33Speaker 1: I don't know that. I'm trying to come in and
- 26:36Speaker 1: get a nice hair cut and walk out with a
- 26:38Speaker 1: nice hair cut. What I don't want to do. It's
- 26:41Speaker 1: come down there. You're leaning over put your private part where.
- 26:44Speaker 1: I got my arms in my hands and I got
- 26:46Speaker 1: to help you. Now that's what I don't you're starting.
- 26:50Speaker 1: You're touching me wrong. Talking about what you're talking about.
- 26:52Speaker 1: I'm touching you wrong. You touch me wrong two weeks
- 26:55Speaker 1: ago when you put your private on my hand. Man,
- 26:58Speaker 1: I don't know how to touch you like tell your
- 27:00Speaker 1: feeling to say what? I don't know what you're talking
- 27:03Speaker 1: to man, You know dog all I'm trying to say.
- 27:07Speaker 1: You're the brother trying to come in and get his
- 27:09Speaker 1: hair cut and walk out fitting like a man and
- 27:11Speaker 1: not walk out feeling violated. Man, because you didn't turn
- 27:15Speaker 1: the chair with your private part all up against my
- 27:18Speaker 1: head and my elbow and stuff. Man, you know what
- 27:20Speaker 1: I'm saying. You know I'm trying to talk to you.
- 27:26Speaker 1: But unless you don't run me wrong, I ain't no
- 27:28Speaker 1: punk flying here, and you understanding they ain't no punk
- 27:30Speaker 1: flying there, then keep it off my hand. Let me
- 27:34Speaker 1: tell you something we won't feel. Oh yeah, you bring
- 27:37Speaker 1: your stupid so I'm gonna tell you right now. You
- 27:40Speaker 1: understanding and look quicker? Oh here, I hear what you're saying.
- 27:50Speaker 1: But let me explain something. You were you using your
- 27:52Speaker 1: hips and your private section like a pinball machine. And
- 27:56Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you right now. Put on you come on,
- 28:01Speaker 1: understand me. I can come on, dude, I'm just trying
- 28:06Speaker 1: to come and get a hair cut. I'm trying to
- 28:08Speaker 1: get a hair cut and walk out of there like
- 28:10Speaker 1: a man, feeling like a man. I bet I open
- 28:12Speaker 1: you up. I'm gonna open you up. A boy on
- 28:14Speaker 1: the station, now you know? Now, come on, tell you
- 28:19Speaker 1: how to do something to your hunt? What's you want
- 28:21Speaker 1: to be? This is a brother shop? Good? You understand me?
- 28:28Speaker 1: What I got? No time you say? I'm not saying,
- 28:32Speaker 1: damn out that I got something to have a cut
- 28:34Speaker 1: right now. Ain't got time. Didn't running your dumb back
- 28:36Speaker 1: over here. You're gonna come over here too, too? Straight.
- 28:39Speaker 1: I bet you did. I don't do it. I don't
- 28:43Speaker 1: go I don't do it. You feel me? You know
- 28:45Speaker 1: what is you? Man? Yeah? You'll come up. Yeahs, come
- 28:48Speaker 1: on up, pill. You can recomnize yourself and you come
- 28:50Speaker 1: up to you put your Okay, okay, I'm gonna putting
- 28:54Speaker 1: my real name on my shirt. Thing. You want to
- 28:56Speaker 1: know what my real name is. That's what's up. That's
- 28:58Speaker 1: what's up. Okay. Then you my want you want you
- 29:00Speaker 1: want to know what name gonna be on the shirt?
- 29:04Speaker 1: Like then the name on the shirt is nephew Tommy
- 29:07Speaker 1: from the Steve Harp In Morning Shown. Bad man. I
- 29:30Speaker 1: got one more thing to ask you, man, what is
- 29:33Speaker 1: what is the baddest and I mean the baddest radio
- 29:36Speaker 1: show in the land. Just bom stop talking, y'all. Good
- 29:46Speaker 1: with that? You good? When you when you moved my chair,
- 29:51Speaker 1: you don't have to use your mid sections to move
- 29:53Speaker 1: it right with my hand and you don't have to
- 29:55Speaker 1: do that. You don't have to do that. Okay, take
- 29:59Speaker 1: your hand and turn ear me around with the back
- 30:01Speaker 1: of the chip. That's all I'm asking, like a normal person.
- 30:05Speaker 1: But this swivel part you're doing this move that that's
- 30:08Speaker 1: that's that's not right. Yeah, this goes out to all
- 30:11Speaker 1: the barber's. Man, y'all quit that swiveling with that your
- 30:14Speaker 1: pelvic push in the chill stop that, thank you? All right?
- 30:18Speaker 1: Coming up next and Entertainment News, we'll talk about it.
- 30:22Speaker 1: The Bobby Brown story, the conclusion Bobby, I Love you.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Sting show. Coming up
- 30:35Speaker 1: in twenty minutes, it's back. Are you smarter than nephew? Tommy, Tom?
- 30:46Speaker 1: I have a new one. I have a new wrinkle
- 30:50Speaker 1: to this. This is going to be the most interesting
- 30:54Speaker 1: one of them all. I have a new twist to
- 30:57Speaker 1: the game. All right, what you want me to wait
- 31:00Speaker 1: or when there's time or share with you now when
- 31:03Speaker 1: we come back. Okay, cool? All right, coming up and
- 31:06Speaker 1: shut coming up in twenty minutes. Are you smarter the nephew?
- 31:13Speaker 1: Tell me? It's mentioned but right now in entertainment News,
- 31:16Speaker 1: whoa did you watch your last Night Girl Brown? We
- 31:22Speaker 1: loveby Brown? Yeah? Man, you know what Part two was
- 31:27Speaker 1: last night Bobby Brown inclusion story. It was even if
- 31:31Speaker 1: you know the Bobby Brown stories, it's stuff that you
- 31:33Speaker 1: don't know, ye like in the first part the Janet
- 31:36Speaker 1: Jackson hole. Yeah that was crazy. Oh you missed it.
- 31:42Speaker 1: But because I know you ain't had time to watch
- 31:44Speaker 1: that Bobby Brown show with Bobby had relations with Janet
- 31:49Speaker 1: and then got I guess they got into an argument,
- 31:51Speaker 1: put Janet out in the hotel hallway. Well yeah, I
- 31:56Speaker 1: mean it's not just okay, they had a relationship, but
- 31:59Speaker 1: Bobby was the white piece in the relationship. He didn't
- 32:02Speaker 1: want to be the side pieces. He was in love
- 32:05Speaker 1: with Janet, but she wasn't ready for all of that,
- 32:07Speaker 1: so they broke up. He threw her out of the
- 32:09Speaker 1: hotel room. Because I talked to some very reliable sources.
- 32:17Speaker 1: What they said, Janet is upset about that and tried
- 32:20Speaker 1: to get that not shown because she said that is
- 32:22Speaker 1: entirely not true. Before it happened, I would have been
- 32:25Speaker 1: upset about it too. Yeah. Look, these these are not documentaries, y'all. Right,
- 32:30Speaker 1: these are movies, so they're gonna put some stuff in there.
- 32:33Speaker 1: And she was really upset about it because he threw
- 32:36Speaker 1: out of the hotel Naket look coming over her clothes out,
- 32:41Speaker 1: Who just what do through? Janet Jackson out in the hallway,
- 32:46Speaker 1: nicket with the club who Brown he needs man? Please?
- 32:57Speaker 1: Y'all missed me with that right there. That's that's one
- 33:00Speaker 1: of those movie made for movie stuff that ain't really true.
- 33:05Speaker 1: These are not documentaries, man, These are not factual to counsel,
- 33:08Speaker 1: actually what happens. So you're saying, don't believe everything you see.
- 33:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you this. It made for great TV.
- 33:18Speaker 1: It made for a great TV. It did. But you
- 33:20Speaker 1: think about that. Let let me just ask all the
- 33:23Speaker 1: men on earth. Gonna throw Janet Jackson out of hotel
- 33:28Speaker 1: room nick and with no clothes, dude, boy, Steve not
- 33:32Speaker 1: Bobby Brown now, Bobby Brown then back when he was
- 33:35Speaker 1: Bobby Brown van now whatever. He ain't never been fining this, Janet,
- 33:40Speaker 1: get out of him. Bobby Brown was sexy, Steve Brown skin.
- 33:47Speaker 1: I don't know. We love Bobby Brown. What are you
- 33:51Speaker 1: talking about? Yeah? How mad? I am? Bobby was fine
- 33:58Speaker 1: and sexy. Last night episode was very heavy because of
- 34:04Speaker 1: you know, he dealt with a lot of things, a
- 34:05Speaker 1: lot of tragedies. If it wasn't true, wouldn't they sue
- 34:09Speaker 1: about that? No? See, you can't. What is it? It's
- 34:12Speaker 1: a movie? What are you gonna sue? You know? All right,
- 34:16Speaker 1: just because you printed, don't make it true. I've been
- 34:18Speaker 1: on that end of that before. I know how that
- 34:21Speaker 1: is that. You just gotta that's your problem. I have
- 34:28Speaker 1: and I can't do good money, but we gotta go.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Come here and Asian gentlemen, miss and trip. Thanks guys,
- 34:43Speaker 1: Good morning everybody. This is Introputs and News. Well, if
- 34:46Speaker 1: you haven't heard it, it hasn't exactly been the kind
- 34:48Speaker 1: of week that President Trump would like. First of all,
- 34:51Speaker 1: he found himself reacting to yesterday's anonymous and blistering op
- 34:54Speaker 1: ed piece about him in the New York Times. Failing
- 34:57Speaker 1: New York Times has an anonymous editorial can you believe it?
- 35:00Speaker 1: Anonymous meaning gutlass? A gutlass editorial. The Time says the
- 35:04Speaker 1: piece was written by a senior Trump administration official. They
- 35:07Speaker 1: say they know who this person is, but they are
- 35:09Speaker 1: not telling. This person refers to the president as a
- 35:13Speaker 1: moral and says he often makes quote half baked, ill informed,
- 35:16Speaker 1: and occasionally reckless decisions that have to be walked back,
- 35:20Speaker 1: and some other stuff. And then Trump also had to
- 35:22Speaker 1: have us say yesterday about the book that the Washington
- 35:25Speaker 1: Post Bob Woodward made it. It's called Fear. It's about
- 35:28Speaker 1: the Trump White House and his stars. For instance, at
- 35:29Speaker 1: top aids and cabinet members, including Defense Secretary Jim Mathis,
- 35:33Speaker 1: have called him an idiot and feels he's completely out
- 35:35Speaker 1: of his debt when it comes to running the country.
- 35:37Speaker 1: The book means nothing. It's a work of fiction. Already,
- 35:41Speaker 1: General Maddis has come out very very strongly, and I
- 35:44Speaker 1: think you know General Mattis, he does what he wants
- 35:46Speaker 1: to do. He's a very independent guy. He was insulted
- 35:49Speaker 1: by the remarks that were attributed to him in Chicago
- 35:53Speaker 1: the White House. The white police officer rather is being
- 35:55Speaker 1: tried in Chicago for murderer. Officer Jason van Dyke's charged
- 35:59Speaker 1: with first degree murder in the shooting of a black
- 36:01Speaker 1: teenage Lae Lakwan McDonald. The seventeen year old was apparently
- 36:05Speaker 1: walking with a knife. Cops claim that Lakwan attacked the officer. However,
- 36:09Speaker 1: police dash cam made a lie out of that because
- 36:12Speaker 1: it showed Lakwan walking away and not toward officer of
- 36:15Speaker 1: Van Dyke, who nevertheless shot the teenagers sixteen times in
- 36:19Speaker 1: the back. Jurie selection expected to take more than a week.
- 36:22Speaker 1: Supreme Court nominee Brett kavanaughso questions from members of the
- 36:25Speaker 1: Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday, but Democrats had problems with his responses,
- 36:29Speaker 1: which answered but didn't answer their quick Their queries. For instance,
- 36:33Speaker 1: there was this question from California's Day in fine Stein.
- 36:36Speaker 1: Can a sitting president be required to respond to a
- 36:39Speaker 1: subpoena as a matter of the canons of judicial independence?
- 36:43Speaker 1: I can't give you an answer on that hypothetical question,
- 36:47Speaker 1: and his answers were just as noncommittal when it came
- 36:49Speaker 1: to questions about abortion and other matters. Former First Lady
- 36:52Speaker 1: Michelle Obama is going to get out there. She scheduled
- 36:54Speaker 1: the lead two upcoming voter registration rallies this month, one
- 36:58Speaker 1: in Las Vegas, the other in my Miami and Nonpartistan
- 37:01Speaker 1: group that she co chairs called When We All Vote
- 37:04Speaker 1: has rally's plan in Vegas September and in Miami on September.
- 37:09Speaker 1: And finally, today is National Alien Abduction Day. Some of
- 37:16Speaker 1: the aliens I think are kind of cute, don't you think.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Here's up Steve Harvey Nation. Find out if Uncle Steve
- 37:21Speaker 1: is smart than his nephew. We'll be back twenty minutes
- 37:24Speaker 1: after the hour and a Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're
- 37:26Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, all right. Last
- 37:30Speaker 1: night was the conclusion of the Bobby Brown story and
- 37:32Speaker 1: b et and it was good we smiled, we cried.
- 37:34Speaker 1: Bobby went through a lot of tragedies and grief in
- 37:37Speaker 1: his life, but he's going strong today. We love you some, Bobby,
- 37:40Speaker 1: We love us some Bobby Brown and his family. And
- 37:43Speaker 1: there right now it is time. We're moving on. We're
- 37:46Speaker 1: moving on. Steve, you said you had a new twist
- 37:48Speaker 1: in the game. Are you smarter than Nephew Tommy? We're

- 56:46Speaker 1: her ex still checking on her? Here's Stephen Shirley. My
- 56:50Speaker 1: girlfriend and I have been together for about a year.
- 56:52Speaker 1: When I met her, she had just ended a relationship
- 56:55Speaker 1: with a wealthy man that was nineteen years older than her.
- 57:00Speaker 1: This man spoiled her with expensive gifts and he was
- 57:03Speaker 1: her first sexually, so she was caught up for a
- 57:06Speaker 1: long time. He offered to buy her a condo if
- 57:09Speaker 1: she stayed with him, but she realized that he was
- 57:11Speaker 1: trying to buy her love and she wasn't really into him,
- 57:14Speaker 1: so they broke up. We've been dating since then. The
- 57:18Speaker 1: old boyfriend still calls and texts her, and she tells
- 57:22Speaker 1: him whenever she she tells me whenever she hears from him.
- 57:25Speaker 1: I'm no fool, so I've been looking for signs of infidelity,
- 57:29Speaker 1: but she's not given me any reason not to trust her.
- 57:32Speaker 1: She's new to the game, so it's the old rich
- 57:34Speaker 1: cat that I don't trust. Why does he have to
- 57:36Speaker 1: check in on her to see if she's okay? All
- 57:38Speaker 1: of the time. I believe he is waiting for me
- 57:41Speaker 1: to slip up so he can make his move. Recently,
- 57:44Speaker 1: she told me that he asked if I was taking
- 57:47Speaker 1: care of her the way he used to. I got game,
- 57:50Speaker 1: and I do what it takes to keep a smile
- 57:52Speaker 1: on my lady's face. I told my lady that he
- 57:54Speaker 1: realizes he lost a good thing and there's no way
- 57:57Speaker 1: that he wants to be just friends with her. I
- 58:00Speaker 1: has her to stop talking to him, but she refuses.
- 58:03Speaker 1: She said that she is glad that they are still
- 58:05Speaker 1: friends and she likes it when he checks on her.
- 58:08Speaker 1: Maybe I'm crazy, but this is not sitting well with me.
- 58:11Speaker 1: This old boyfriend is a wolf and she's she's clothing
- 58:14Speaker 1: and she's too naive to see it. How do I
- 58:17Speaker 1: get this man to leave my girlfriend alone? Please help?
- 58:21Speaker 1: All right? I don't know if that's gonna happen, if
- 58:23Speaker 1: he's ever going to leave her alone, because he knows,
- 58:26Speaker 1: you know, about her, he had her first, he's older
- 58:29Speaker 1: in the game. Um. I think you're right, though, and
- 58:32Speaker 1: everything you say about your new girlfriend and her old boyfriend,
- 58:36Speaker 1: he is too much in her life, calling her, texting her,
- 58:39Speaker 1: uh to see if she's all right, Yeah, he's waiting
- 58:41Speaker 1: for you to slip up so he can slip back in.
- 58:43Speaker 1: Yes he is. Of course, Papa is out of line,
- 58:46Speaker 1: and she is too for still taking his calls and stuff.
- 58:49Speaker 1: She may be a little naive, but um uh you
- 58:52Speaker 1: know he like he said, or like you said, he wait,
- 58:56Speaker 1: he's checking on her to see if she's okay. All
- 58:59Speaker 1: the time. He is waiting for you to slip up
- 59:01Speaker 1: so he can make your moves. So you better be.
- 59:04Speaker 1: Since you say you know the game, you're not new
- 59:07Speaker 1: to the game and all of that, and you know
- 59:08Speaker 1: what it takes to put a smile on her face.
- 59:10Speaker 1: You better continue doing that. Continue to do that. But
- 59:14Speaker 1: I don't know why she's not uh stopped taking his
- 59:17Speaker 1: texas and his calls. Maybe she likes this conversation. Maybe
- 59:20Speaker 1: she does think they're just trying to be friends. Because
- 59:23Speaker 1: he does want her back, He definitely does. He wants
- 59:26Speaker 1: her back. He knows he can get her if he
- 59:28Speaker 1: just hangs in there, hangs in there and does what
- 59:32Speaker 1: he's been doing. Steve, you know why, I know, listen
- 59:36Speaker 1: to me. Looks first of all, this young dude to
- 59:38Speaker 1: wrote this letter because he's looking for answers because he
- 59:43Speaker 1: don't know. Now he got game, but he don't have
- 59:47Speaker 1: advanced game because he writes a letter because he don't.
- 59:51Speaker 1: He don't know the answer. Your girlfriend and you've been
- 59:54Speaker 1: together for a year. You met her. She had just
- 59:57Speaker 1: end the relationship with a wealthy man that was nineteen
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: years older than her. Now you didn't say how old
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: anybody is in this letter, but just judging by the
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: right the way you right, I'm thinking, man, she bout
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: twenty six. I figured he bought forty six. That's just
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: a guestimate based on the way you're right. H forty
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: five something like that. This man spoiled her with expensive gifts.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: He was her first sexually, so she was caught up
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: for a long time. This happened for a while. He
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: offered to buy her condor if she stayed with him,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: but she realized that he was just trying to buy
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: her love and she wasn't really into him, so they
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: broke up. We've been dating since then. The old boyfriend
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: still calling Texas and tells him whenever, and then she
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: tells me whatever she hears from him. I'm no fool.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: So I've just been looking for signs of infidelity that
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: she is not giving me any reason not to trust her.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: First of all, she ain't seeing the dude. She's a
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: good girl. She telling you every time to do contact her.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: But why does a woman notify you every time another
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: man called her? Cause she wants you to know. She
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: want you to know he's still calling, He still want me.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: And you know why she notifying you because she's trying
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: to send a signal to you that you need to
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: step up your game because you're lacking somewhere a part.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: Now here comes the real truth. Since you got game
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: and everything, but you ain't got advanced game all right now,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: I ain't no food looking for him fidelity, not giving
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: me any reason trust. And she's new to the game.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: Sound like you new to the game, That's what it
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: sounds like, she new to the game. You still need
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: what game? So it's the old rich cat that I
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: really don't trust. Why does he have to check on
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: her to see if she's okay all the time? Because
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: he won't hug, he won't hump back. And that's what
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: Groan asked me. And do we call and we check
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: on just saying hey, make sure and you're good. I
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: don't want to see you fall on hard times? Is everything? Okay? Hello,
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: old player lines, I love him sticks. I believe he
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: waiting for me to slip up so he can make
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: his move. He waiting on you to slip up, he mow,
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: He waiting on the damn thing. You involved with the
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: girl and here texting her. Now you're slipping and you
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: don't know it, young homie. She knew to the game.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: You new to the game. But hang on because Steve
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: and put your own game. You get him, right, boy,
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: say no game, just old and paper till he got
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: old and don't a chance. Well you ain't got a chance,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: you know what I mean? You you don't even know
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: you're going out? Man? Is this at about? All? Right? Listen,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: we'll come back with part two. What the old players
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: in the game educate you? Alright? Three afters when we're
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: coming back, all right? The subject today is why is
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: her ex still checking on her? Right after this, you're
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, let's recap
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter, Steve. It's called the subject why is
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: her ex still checking on her? A young man wrote this,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: one dude dating this girl. Man that was involved with
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: this man that was nineteen years old, and and how
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: he called it her old man. I think it was
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: her first sexual encounter. So she was caught up with
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: him for a while. She wanted he wanted to buy
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: him a condo. She stayed with him. She lies, he
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: was just trying to buy love. They broke up. Now
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: you've been dating. How he's still checking on You're trying
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: to figure out why her ex is still checking on
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: because he won't because he won't to back. You know
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: how he got your girl. He was checking on that
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: hot so you know how he got your girl. He
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: was checking on. See what you're something the young boys
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: don't know how to do. See, y'all, don't check on women.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: You call women because you want to chill and hook up.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: You want a Netflix night. But you're gonna call him
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: check on him. See how they're doing, See how they
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: date going, Did they need anything? Anything you can do
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: for him? Help him solve problems. See that's what Groan
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: asked me. And he is right there. Why don't you
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: check on him? See hold on, hold let me finish
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: this here for see some what he do? Is he
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: he said it all up? No, no, no, Now you're
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: talking about she knew to the game. So it's the
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: old rich cat that I really don't trust. Why he
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: got to check on it to see if she okay?
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: All the time, I believe he waiting on me to
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: slip up so he can make his move. Partner, he
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: already moving. He don't even give a damn about you.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: You're irrelevant. He texting your girl right now while y'all together.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: He ain't waiting on you to slip up. He gonna
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: cause you to slip up. He gonna show a vast
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: difference between him and you. He ain't waiting on you
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: to slip up here in the game, Partner, You know
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: why because the old school players. It ain't a game.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: It's a contest. Everybody can get a blue ribbon. Let go. Recently,
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: she told me that he asked if I was taking
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: care of her the way he used to. I got game,
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: and I do what it takes to keep a smile
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: on my lady's face. That ain't what he asked a girl.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: He asked the girl, are you taking care of her
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: the way he used to? The answer to that question
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: is not all because your answer wasn't. Yeah. See, you
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: ain't taking care of her the way he used to,
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: you're going back to I got game game if I want,
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: no damn game bought. This ain't videoing in the arcade,
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: this life. I know how to keep a smile on
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: my lady's face. I told I told my lady that
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: he realizes he lost a good thing and there's no, no,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: no way that he just wants to be friends with her.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: He mentioned friend and none of them texts. He asked,
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: your girl, where you're taking care of her the way
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: he used to? That ain't trying to be friends. He
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: gonna get back into taking care of her BIS because
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: I think you ain't. I asked her to stop talking
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: to him. He go the clue, but she refuses because
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: you know what what he talking about where different from
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: what you're talking about. Didn't you just tell us you
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: had a game where the game must be weak? Because
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: she want to hear something else that she's glad that
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: they're still friends, and she likeing when he checks on her.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: And you know why he likes when you check on
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: when you check on her, because you don't because you're
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: so busy with your game. You're so busy trying and
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: put a smile on her face that you don't really
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: know how to check on her. You don't care for her,
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: so you just want to do something with her. I'm
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: telling him, I'm giving you the game. This is what
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: he's doing wrong. This old man is what she telling you?
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: Is she trying to put you on game so you
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: can know what game is, because that little weak ass
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: game you got and worth a quality. So she keeps
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: telling you every time time he called it, what he
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: said no, and she likes, maybe I'm crazy, but this
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: ain't sitting well with me, this ship. I tell you
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: what she ain't got me sitting with you in a minute.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: This old boyfriend is a wolf in sheep's clothing. No
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: he not, He just a wolf. He got no sheep's
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: clothing on problem is a little boy you are sheep.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: You're in trouble. You up against you, up against some
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: deep odds man unless you really learn what game is.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: And she's too naive to see it. Don't she see
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: exactly what it is. It's just what she had before
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: she don't have now. So she's staying in touch with
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: what she had before because she thinks what she got
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: now ain't gonna last. How do I get this man
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: to leave my girlfriend alone. Please only let's cut this
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: out of him. You want to get this man to
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: leave your girl alone calling, calling his number in her phone,
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: get her phone calling, tell him don't call your woman
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: no more or else what not. Let's find out what
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: kind of game. See. You may find out that he
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: cared more deeply for her than you do. See. But
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: now I'm asking you, and I ain't saying you got
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: to get violent. That ain't what I'm saying to you.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: But call a man, have a man to man conversation
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: and tell him he can't call your girl. Now you
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: can convince him of that, then you got something. If
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: you can't convince him of that, you got nothing. He
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: can't whoop this old dude. Ass man, that's just nineteen
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: years you sixty five. You're gonna get Hey, this is
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: begging for a re enactment between you and Jay as

- 1:16:12Speaker 1: burn down the gas station with your punk ames? Now?
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: Make up your mind. Did you call here to burn
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: down the gas station because you're just going over there
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: and do that? Are you trying to hold on to
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: your girl, which I ain't never let go up what
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: you want to do? I just want you to know
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna set fire to your gas ship. And our
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: relationship is hot? How about that? And the winner is
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: and let me explain one last thing. And hey man,
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: let me help you a little bit. M I'm gonna
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: be seeing someone this weekend, so don't look at that side.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: And and I'm gonna show you why she keeps taking
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: my phone call. See see you messed around. Mr Whittaker. Boy,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: Well that was good. That was good. I've been I've
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: been billy, Mr, I've been. Yeah, I asked you to
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: stop talking to him. All right, guys, thank you for
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: that inside look in your inside your relationships. Coming up
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, Carla is here with
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: reality update. Right after this, you're listening to the Steve
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: Morning Show. Sorry, Tommy, come on, it is time, let's go.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: Let's go see is here It is Carla's reality Update.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: All right, thank you, nephew. Okay, Steve, you're ready. We're
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: gonna talk about Power. We get caught up because we
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: read Sandy Soong. We were in the Dominican, so we
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: had to get back home and watch the latest episode
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: of Power. Only one episode left for the season finale.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: Would you say, Steve, I didn't get back for it?
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: You really missed it? Was a good right man, I'll
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: tell you what happened. Okay, you're gonna tell me what happened. Well,
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: I check this out. Tarrek is really turning into goes
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: man if you see him around here. What is going on? Right?
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: What what is it? I mean fifty Yeah, Canaan has gone,
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: so somebody got it. Somebody got to act a fool. Well,
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: Tyrek is doing it. Steve, absolutely right. You can't kill
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: off a fool and then don't have a better fool
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: and place younger fool right there. Well, Tyrek is saying
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: he's the reason that his family gotta win and got
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: involved in Canaan's death, and he's the reason why he's
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: got an ego. Right now, Tyrek really thinks that he's
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: smarter than his parents and smarter than his father. Goes
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: that ain't even his uncle Tommy and Ghost is like,
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: what is going on? It's like, not that our Tommy,
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: the Tommy. I know he's acting, but if you see
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: him anywhere I'm looking for I need to beat his
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: back over there to Tyrek on the weight, Yeah, yes,
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: he needs behind anyway, Tyreek is selling drugs. He doesn't
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: seem to care about death. It's just too much. And
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: then ghost was mad at Tasha and Angela for changing
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: his plan, you know, for setting up Dre. He wanted
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: Dre to get set up for Canaan's because Angela don't
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: ever want to do what he say. Do you know?
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: She don't know what That's just another thing. Now he's
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: mad again at Angela. Yeah, yeah, he is. This storyline
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: gonna keep up, gonna get mad at Angela. Don't go
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: along with a damn thing you say. You ain't walking
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: in the house with a good idea to Angela. Yet,
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: it's true she told him his plan was not good enough,
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: so she changed everything. So anyway, it looks like Proctor
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: warned Ghosts that Angela can't be trusted and that he
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: needs to look out for himself. But even Proctor came through.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: He wrote a note told Ghosts he was wearing a wire.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: Did you see that, Tommy? Yeah, Yeah, that was cool
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: of Proctor to do that. No, it wasn't cool. Proctor
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: would have died if he wouldn't have done that. Trust eventually, eventually,
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: but he did give him the heads up. What were
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: you gonna say, Steve? I know, I'm just saying, Procty.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: You know, I ain't busy with all of them. You
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: know that detergent and everything. Wonder are you talking Proctor
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: and Gamble. We are not talking about you kid, talking
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: about Ghosts lawyer. All the products they got, he said,
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: all these products they got was I don't I don't
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: know what you think he's gonna put the cocaine in.
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: You're gonna need Procty to help you move that stiff.
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: Go ahead, we're moving on from Proctor. Angela gave Ghost
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: pictures of Tommy's dad, Tresse, talking to the FEDS and
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: letting him know that his dad was pretty much a
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: snitch and an informant. So Ghost knew that Tommy would
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: not believe him if he told them I told you
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: your dad couldn't be trusted. I told you your dad
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: was a snitch. So Ghost told the Italians to tell
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: Tommy that his dad was was a snitch. They told
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: him he took his dad to see telling you that
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: blue mustage, and Tommy drives it right, right, right right.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: He took his dad to go see his dying wife
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: and then that was it. Tommy took his father to
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: Resting Home and he killed his daddy. Did you see
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: him looking at the exit saying like he was gonna
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: go out the back way though? Did you see? Yeah,
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: I would have left if I was to Resty, I
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: wouldn't have went back in that car. Is just a credit.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: The example of his son not want to buy dad
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: the father's day. Get that's what you got out of
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: that damn thing? You could you can? You can you
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: imagine that man killed daddy in cold blood and killed
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: his father for being a snitch, and that's all power
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: tell them white boy brothers did it in real life?
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: Yeah they did kill their parents, Yeah they did. But
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: you got de bonus. He brought it back ground somewhere else.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: Talking about power, that's when you don't know what's going
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: on with the random with just something similar and yeah,
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: yeah that way you always relevant. That was heavy. So anyway,
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: I shut the room down with some of these announcements. Yeah,
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: but the writing on this show has gotten much better. Man.
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: That's very good, unlike the Chapmans. Who whoa, whoa whoa
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: j Anthony bron I take defense you for that. That. Yeah, anyway,
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: I think that the season finale is going to be
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: a good one. Angela is in trouble and we're gonna
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: get out. Yeah, get out of that. We'll see. So
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: hit me up at lips. Carlin will continue talking about Power. Yeah,
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: any questions that you have, any questions, Steve, you have
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: about the show Power. Season finale is wrapping up on No.
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: I just know that you know she First of all,
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: when you kill your daddy, you know that you ain't
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: got long, Tommy ain't got long, because you know you
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: can't go killing your daddy around on the Black Show's
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: got to be some repercussions. See, I don't watch the
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: show for race. I just watched it for what happened.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: We gotta go, Steve. We'll be back right after this.
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. And this
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: season of Steve is back. Yes, it is. Daytime show

- 1:24:48Speaker 1: the new look and changed the name to Steve Right, Okay, good,
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: all right. So now on tomorrow Friday's talk show, you're
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: doing a new segment. It's called the Hey Steve Musical
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: Take a list, Take a list of all right, this
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: is the musical edition of Hey Steve, So, Hey Steve. So.
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: My question to you is I work at Chuck E
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: Cheese and I love my job a lot, and the
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: worst thing about it is I'm always getting hit on
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: by girl men who claimed to be the single dads
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: they have the kids with them when they're trying to
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: get my number? How do I turn them down without
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: coming off as rude? Well might as well answer that
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: question with a song. You're having problems, you can move
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: at Chuck your Cheese. Thank you for coming to Chuck
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: It Cheese. I know that the man niche please and
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: how I was so fun? But my cheese you cannot
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: squeeze playing Hold on Hold, that's how y'all gonna play? Yeah,
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: that's how you're doing. Man. You're always trying to ask
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: some nast can we hear her? Again. One time she
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: said nothing by no girls hid no, she said grown man,
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: Oh man, I couldn't. You're right. See you're always trying
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: to get something kinky in it about girls and men.
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: She said that. Laugh Tim laugh. Yeah. What I do
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: every now and then is I sit at the piano
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: and I answer these questions. You know, you know a
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: song that's cool. I like that segment. Yeah, that's it's
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: that's gonna work. Yeah, well come to chuck it you Yeah,
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: And he'd be singing with his eye closed that the
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: management is please, and then I go from there. Man,
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: it's funny you guys, you guys right for these segments
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: on the show. So yeah, you know that. Yeah, you
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: just give him a little bit and then with it
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: like like running back out the backfield. Handed to him.
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: I'm trying to score any time I get it. Yeah,
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: handed to him. They have a first down. You're not
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: the easiest person to help with anything, and trust me
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: on that. And J that's on purpose to limit the
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: amount of people who can approach me. See, if you know,
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: you might get bit approach down. Yeah. So most people
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: gather their sales, make sure they got some good so
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: when the bike come it ain't a severe alright, check
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: out your local listenings listings and watch the new season,
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: the brand new season and Steve Office is I'm not sad?
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: This more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show at thirty
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: three after the hour. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: Morning Show. Tonight is the opening season of NFL football.
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: Cricket were watching. The Atlanta Falcons will take on the
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: world champion. Let me say this again, the world champion
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: super Bowl. Steve Harvey, Philadelphia Eagles. So, Steve, how you
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: feeling about that? You're good? Yeahs Are you excited at football? Yeah?
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: Come on, now, he don't know what the Browns gonna do.
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: He gotta wait anyone to say it's been going on
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: in the nineteen I don't know what you want me
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: to do? All like that every year on a Brown
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: fan sounds. Hey here we are. You know, I'm just
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: all I want to win this this year, my prayer. Yeah,
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: but the Browns, Yeah, no, mock this down. Okay, my prayer.
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: It's minimum six wins. They didn't win anything year before either.
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: No help, my Jake, Just can I talk to the
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: Brown fan? We're here with the Brown fan. Go ahead,
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: we're here with the number one Brown fan. Everybody an
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: we're talking ready for big season. What can we expect
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: this year? Sir? We all you know what we always
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: extract this just a win. This year. We're not looking
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: for much. We don't even we're not We definitely ain't
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: looking at Super Bowl. Ye, we don't even know what
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: the trophy gonna look like. We ain't We ain't playing
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: it on trips to We don't even know what you
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: bowl at this year? What what? What would be your
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: first prayer in the locker room for the first game?
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: How how that prayer? Give us a little simple of
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: that prayer. Dear Lord, forgive us for our past transgressions,
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: because obviously these past two years was swamp. Some type
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: of punishment. We have learned. Our lesson will unleashed the
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: cracking upon this team. Okay, un curse released the damn
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: nation that has been placed on the city of Cleveland
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: and this football team. Father, we're asking these things in
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: your name. Give us a win, give us a win.
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: We don't kill When the question is when you make
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: your first touchdown this year, what kind of celebration you
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: have playing? Well, I wasn't talking it over with the playoffs.
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: We need to do something really, really special to draw
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: attention to this first touchdown. I think whoever make the
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: touchdown orders take their helmet off, pull their pass down
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: in the end zone and defecate in the zone and
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: take with the helmet read all, you really want them
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: to bring attention to this first touchdown to let y'all
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: know that the Shigar hunted ice. Well, okay, thank you,
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: thank you, all right, thank you guys. Coming up next,
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: it is Steve with today's closing remarks. Right after this
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: you're listening to show all right, here we are Steve,
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: last break of the day. It's been a great day.
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: What a day? When a day? Yeah, it's been a
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: crazy day today. So Steve, now it's time for you
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: to take us home with your closing remarks. My closing
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: remarks today, um are gonna be based around the value
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: of yourself. I think this is important. Tommy sent this
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: to me, you know, a bill board, and it really
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: triggered me to thinking I'm gonna share that with you.
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: But it all pertains to the value of yourself. This
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: can pertain to you in terms of reaching your goals,
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: your dreams. All in business and this is for you
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: to consider in the relationship of love. It is amazing
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: to me who I talk to people, and people talk
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: about how they're being treated and handled and represented and
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: dealt with, and how they can't seem to get nobody
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: to see their value and their worth. And I'm sitting
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: a bit going, wait a minute, wait a minute. You
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: can't try to get someone to see something in you
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: that you don't see in yourself. It starts with you.
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: You know, you've all heard the saying, uh, beauty is
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: on the inside. It's not just skin deep. That's true.
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: Confidence is not an outward emotion. It's something that starts
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: from within. Everything starts from within, and it exudes and
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: and and and and manifest itself in the outward shape
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: or form. So if you want people to value you,
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: you must first value yourself. I tell my daughters all
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: the time. You can train a man how to treat
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: you well, Daddy, how do you train a man? You
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: just don't accept bad treatment from him. If you don't
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: accept bad treatment from him, little girl of mine, then
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: guess what. He can't keep giving it to you. A
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: person can only treat you the way you allow them
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: to do it. If you don't accept a man coming
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: to pick you up late all the time, but you
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: stopped going with him every time he late. The next
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: time he want to go out with you, he got
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: to be on time. Now. If he don't want to
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: be on time, then guess what You don't go out.
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: You've trained him how to treat you, and if he
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: don't line up with what you walk, then guess what
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: he not for you. At least you don't have to
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: be mistreated the way he want to treat you by
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: simply not allowing him to treat you any way he
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: wants to. You cannot have high value for yourself and
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: expect someone else to have a high value of you.
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: That goes into same thing with business. You can't go
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: in and ask for a raise if you don't think
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: you deserved one. What would cause you to walk in
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: there and ask for a raise if you don't think
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: you deserved one, if you don't have the facts to
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: back up a raise. You can't want more money just
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: because you don't spend all the money you had. You
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: got to go in there and ask for a raise
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: because you can show value to the company. You're worth
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: this much more to the company. The company has become
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: this because of you. Then you can show your value.
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: Then you can go in there with a raise, and
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: you can go in there with some confidence with the raise.
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: It happens with goals and dreams. If you aim too low,
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: your problem is you might hit it. But I'm gonna
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: say that for tomorrow. So it's what you think of yourself,
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: how you value yourself, that matters most. Now let me
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: tell you what was said to me. Listen to this
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: real careful, because this is gonna register with a lot
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: of people. Listen to me. If you aren't being treated
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: with love and respect, check your price tag. Maybe you've
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: marked yourself down. It's you who tells people what you're work.
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: Get off the clearest rack and get behind the glass
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: where they keep the valuables. It's you who tells people
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: what you're worth. Get off the clearest rack and get
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: behind the glass where they keep the valuable Stop acting
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: like you a sidewalk sale. Stop acting like you can
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: be picked up at the swap meet. Stop acting like
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: you belong in the junkyard. You're a new car. Don't
