- 0:12Speaker 3: Don't give them a bu bu boozy.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Listening to to.
- 0:38Speaker 4: I don't joy, yeah, joy, you.
- 0:59Speaker 5: Know you.
- 1:06Speaker 6: Love. You gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 7: I can't.
- 1:41Speaker 1: To turn the mouth.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Turn You probably got to turn mouth turn out, turn
- 1:46Speaker 3: a word of the mony up, come.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Come out your thin huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 2: You are listening to the voice, Come on now, dig
- 2:08Speaker 2: me one and only Steve Harvey Man got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 8: What God doing, y'all? Huh?
- 2:15Speaker 2: What he doing? What he doing in your life? He's
- 2:17Speaker 2: doing something, He moving, he working. Don't lose your patience though,
- 2:22Speaker 2: see I did that before. Don't lose your patience. Don't
- 2:27Speaker 2: get so sick of waiting that you take matters into
- 2:30Speaker 2: your own hands. Don't do that. Boy, you're blowing it.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Listen to me. You're listening to somebody who's done it
- 2:38Speaker 2: that way. I had a dream, I had a vision.
- 2:42Speaker 2: I had some hope, I had some faith, I had
- 2:44Speaker 2: some aspirations. But I got a little impatient waiting on it.
- 2:49Speaker 2: So I tried a couple other things. Move it along, boy,
- 2:52Speaker 2: I can't tell you how I messed it up. Then
- 2:54Speaker 2: I messed it up. Then, because God gave me the
- 2:56Speaker 2: power of decision, what I had to do was then
- 2:59Speaker 2: after I took matters into my own hand, messed it up.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Now I guess what, He still got something fummy. But nah,
- 3:06Speaker 2: I gotta fix all the mistakes now, I gotta straighten
- 3:09Speaker 2: them out, gotta I gotta suffer some consequences. I gotta
- 3:12Speaker 2: pay for my transgressions, all of that, All of that,
- 3:16Speaker 2: it's gotta go down. You can't do something wrong and
- 3:20Speaker 2: not pay for it. It's just you call it, calma,
- 3:23Speaker 2: call it whatever you want to call it. Every action
- 3:27Speaker 2: has an equal and opposite reaction every action. If it
- 3:32Speaker 2: just stays sunny all the time, you might think it's cool,
- 3:35Speaker 2: but there's gonna be a reaction to it. Ain't no dark,
- 3:38Speaker 2: ain't no shade, ain't no break, ain't no rain. Gonna
- 3:41Speaker 2: be hard if it's just sunny all the time, vice versa.
- 3:45Speaker 2: So you need you need the opposite. You need the
- 3:49Speaker 2: darkness so you can get your break from that sun.
- 3:52Speaker 2: You need the rain so you can nourish the roots
- 3:55Speaker 2: so that sun can it can soak up the sun
- 3:58Speaker 2: and get the benefit of the sun. If you don't
- 4:00Speaker 2: get the opposite, you got a problem, man. And it
- 4:03Speaker 2: happens throughout nature, it happens throughout your life. Don't think
- 4:07Speaker 2: that you can do wrong and not have to pay
- 4:10Speaker 2: for that. You think this is man. We think man,
- 4:15Speaker 2: because we'd have made a decision that we think is
- 4:17Speaker 2: best for us, and no matter how to affect nobody else,
- 4:20Speaker 2: we got the right to make that call. No, you don't.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Whoever is telling you that, whoever's misguiding you into the
- 4:26Speaker 2: gang life, telling.
- 4:27Speaker 8: You, yeah, man, you need to be this way to
- 4:29Speaker 8: be down with us. I'll tell you what.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Get yourself stuck on chuck with that gang. See how
- 4:33Speaker 2: many them be there for you. Oh they'll go around
- 4:36Speaker 2: the corner with you and start shooting. But look, okay,
- 4:39Speaker 2: when it's time to do some time and they can
- 4:41Speaker 2: lessen they sentence, you.
- 4:43Speaker 8: Gonna get that time. They gonna point their finger dead
- 4:45Speaker 8: at you.
- 4:46Speaker 2: I watched for eight hours all the time, man, I
- 4:48Speaker 2: watch Lock Up Raw all the time, all the time, man,
- 4:51Speaker 2: all the time. Ain't no real cold dudes out there,
- 4:55Speaker 2: just holding to the mantra and sticking to it. Even
- 4:58Speaker 2: the mob turns stateside every thence go fed all that
- 5:02Speaker 2: now we in now the hood, we dine created this
- 5:04Speaker 2: ignorant mess called no snitching. With that ignorant mess, you
- 5:07Speaker 2: don't even understand. No snitching was created by criminals as
- 5:10Speaker 2: a cold of honor. If you do dirt and you
- 5:13Speaker 2: get busted doing the dirt, don't bring my name up
- 5:16Speaker 2: if I was with you. That's a cold of honor
- 5:18Speaker 2: amongst the thieves. Now, so many code of honor thieves
- 5:21Speaker 2: that then came out of prison. They ain't gotten no honor.
- 5:23Speaker 2: They done brought that stuff back to the street. Now
- 5:25Speaker 2: that's all in the neighborhood. No snitching. No snitching, You
- 5:28Speaker 2: got to be crazy. That's for people who disobey the law.
- 5:33Speaker 2: That's who people have made a cold of honor amongst
- 5:35Speaker 2: themselves as thieves. Hey, man, if you get busted, don't
- 5:38Speaker 2: drag me down with you. Just do your time. Oh man,
- 5:41Speaker 2: you can't bring that stuff out here to me. I'm
- 5:42Speaker 2: a law abiding citizen.
- 5:45Speaker 8: Dog. I'm trying to live right over here. Man.
- 5:47Speaker 2: I don't want no crack house up street from my
- 5:49Speaker 2: mama's house. I'm trying to do right out here.
- 5:51Speaker 8: Man.
- 5:52Speaker 2: You can't do wrong and expect wrong not to come
- 5:54Speaker 2: to you. You got to make a decision every day
- 5:57Speaker 2: to do right. God ain't got no protection you on dirt.
- 6:00Speaker 2: You got what you got coming. You made a decision.
- 6:04Speaker 2: You go down there to get some you might get
- 6:08Speaker 2: got See, we got to come on. I'm talking to
- 6:12Speaker 2: so many men out here right now. I should have
- 6:14Speaker 2: said that in beginning, but a conversation that kind of
- 6:16Speaker 2: got away from me. I was gonna talk to you
- 6:18Speaker 2: about something else this morning, but it's just only man.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Because our communities. Man's just going to the pot man
- 6:24Speaker 2: because it ain't nobody can about nobody else. Don't nobody
- 6:28Speaker 2: care when they see that young dude over there doing wrong?
- 6:31Speaker 2: Look at them foods over that man, Go over there
- 6:32Speaker 2: and talk to one of them. Pull them to the side.
- 6:35Speaker 5: Man.
- 6:36Speaker 2: You might not be able to approach the group, but
- 6:38Speaker 2: you can approach an individual.
- 6:40Speaker 8: Come in, young man. Let me talk to you. I
- 6:42Speaker 8: saw you the other day.
- 6:42Speaker 5: Man.
- 6:43Speaker 2: You look like you got something going on in your life.
- 6:44Speaker 2: What's happening with you? Let me talk to you, man,
- 6:47Speaker 2: Let me share something I learned. I was doing what
- 6:49Speaker 2: you was doing. You know. It's like Tommy did a
- 6:52Speaker 2: prank phone call one time as a limo driver and
- 6:56Speaker 2: the dude. The prank was he called this limo company
- 6:59Speaker 2: to add that's this limo driver to take him to
- 7:03Speaker 2: this location late at night. And the limo driver got
- 7:06Speaker 2: a young business he going, yeah, okay, I got you.
- 7:09Speaker 2: I don't normally work like that. But how long you
- 7:11Speaker 2: need it? He say? For just about an hour? He said, well,
- 7:13Speaker 2: I'm gonna have to charge you for the full three though,
- 7:15Speaker 2: because a three hour minimum. Tommy told him, now, I
- 7:18Speaker 2: just need it for one hours. He said, okay, I'll
- 7:20Speaker 2: give you a break, young man. You're trying to do something.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Where you want to go? He gave an address. The
- 7:25Speaker 2: man stopped writing. He said, that's a bank. He said, yeah.
- 7:29Speaker 2: He said, you want to go to the bank at
- 7:31Speaker 2: twelve thirty at night. He said yeah, and I'm gonna
- 7:34Speaker 2: be in for a few minutes. And when I come
- 7:36Speaker 2: out that bank, I need for you to flow it.
- 7:40Speaker 2: That to do with the limo. He stopped writing. He said,
- 7:43Speaker 2: hold on, hold on, man, you want me to take
- 7:47Speaker 2: you to a bank twelve thirty at night. You gonna
- 7:50Speaker 2: be in there for a few minutes and you gonna
- 7:52Speaker 2: come out, and you want me to flow it. He said, sir,
- 7:56Speaker 2: I don't do stuff like that. He said, you got
- 7:57Speaker 2: the wrong company. He said, what made you call him?
- 8:00Speaker 2: He said, hey, man, don't worry about that. You a
- 8:01Speaker 2: limo coman to you. Just drive. He stopped and took
- 8:05Speaker 2: the time out. He said, young man, let me tell
- 8:07Speaker 2: you something. He said, I've been down before, I've been
- 8:11Speaker 2: locked up before. It ain't pretty. He said, that's what's
- 8:14Speaker 2: wrong with you young people today. Instead of going to
- 8:16Speaker 2: get a job, trying to work your way, you're always
- 8:18Speaker 2: looking for some fast money. He said, I'm gonna tell
- 8:20Speaker 2: you what I already know. Don't go down there messing
- 8:22Speaker 2: with them people's money like that because they love that
- 8:25Speaker 2: money way more than they love you, and they gonna
- 8:27Speaker 2: do something to you down there. Now. You stop this foolishness.
- 8:30Speaker 2: And I'm not caring you nowhere, but I'm gonna take
- 8:32Speaker 2: a little bit of time out to tell you something.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Don't go down here with messing with these people's money
- 8:38Speaker 2: because it ain't gonna go good. They gonna take care
- 8:40Speaker 2: of their business when they come to that money. Tommy
- 8:42Speaker 2: kept insisting to this man to pick him up in
- 8:45Speaker 2: the limbo. It was a plank phone call. But the
- 8:47Speaker 2: point I'm making is the man took our time. He
- 8:49Speaker 2: could have just hung the phone up. But you know
- 8:51Speaker 2: what he said. He said, hold up, young man, let
- 8:54Speaker 2: me hip you to something. Because the brother had been
- 8:56Speaker 2: locked up before. He said, no, no, no, See, I've done
- 8:58Speaker 2: that when I was young, now almost and I'm gonna
- 9:00Speaker 2: take some moment out to tell you. I'm up here,
- 9:02Speaker 2: working man, trying to earn an honest living. I ain't
- 9:05Speaker 2: going back down there because I don't. They make you
- 9:07Speaker 2: eat what they want you to eat. You don't want
- 9:09Speaker 2: the food. You got to get up when they say
- 9:11Speaker 2: get up. You gotta stay where they say stay, live
- 9:13Speaker 2: with who they say live. He said, man, you don't
- 9:15Speaker 2: want that, and he just tried to talk the young
- 9:17Speaker 2: man out of me. You can change a young man's
- 9:20Speaker 2: mind with a conversation. A conversation can change a young
- 9:24Speaker 2: man's mind. Most of these young men that are misguided
- 9:27Speaker 2: ain't having conversations with real men. They're just not having them.
- 9:31Speaker 2: And it's up to us who know what manhood is.
- 9:34Speaker 2: It's to start delivering the message the problem that we
- 9:37Speaker 2: have in our communities. We can solve ourselves it, to
- 9:40Speaker 2: escalate it to a point, because we who are men
- 9:42Speaker 2: won't stop on our corporate climb and our day to
- 9:46Speaker 2: day making money and trying to ball out. We won't
- 9:49Speaker 2: stop and grab some of these young soldiers and tell
- 9:51Speaker 2: them the truth about manhood. That's the real deal. Okay, sah,
- 9:54Speaker 2: I went there. I don't know where they came from.
- 9:56Speaker 9: You're listening morning show.
- 10:01Speaker 8: Ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:02Speaker 2: You know what, Another day, another time, another opportunity, another blessing,
- 10:06Speaker 2: another moment of grace, another chance to show some gratitude.
- 10:12Speaker 2: I do. I invite you to do this. I know
- 10:14Speaker 2: you do, because I mean, it just makes sense. You
- 10:17Speaker 2: know a lot of people listening to this show, they
- 10:19Speaker 2: really do have sense, man. So I appreciate y'all waking
- 10:22Speaker 2: up and giving credit where credit is due, giving honor
- 10:26Speaker 2: and glory to God, and and and just being grateful man,
- 10:29Speaker 2: because wow, this is a blessing.
- 10:31Speaker 8: Man, really is Steve.

- 10:57Speaker 2: You know I love you no matter what you do.
- 11:06Speaker 2: That's probably, to me, the greatest verbalized love song I've
- 11:13Speaker 2: ever heard, the best written love song of all time, lyrically.
- 11:22Speaker 7: Ass by Stevie Wonder as a woman back No, no,
- 11:30Speaker 7: beggar begging is.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Different to you.

- 13:00Speaker 1: Big Yeah, yeah, you just turn.
- 13:03Speaker 8: Keith was more of a whiner.
- 13:07Speaker 2: But but but all but but but musically gifted though,
- 13:12Speaker 2: Oh he swept my dude, Man, I'm talking about all
- 13:15Speaker 2: the weight and still got it.
- 13:18Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Junior.
- 13:22Speaker 2: You know it's hard, man, because I'd have to give
- 13:24Speaker 2: it some more thought. But I know, I I know

- 14:01Speaker 5: Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach sister Takara. This is

- 14:09Speaker 13: Oh hey, how is I'm a at work? Can I
- 14:13Speaker 13: call you back?
- 14:14Speaker 5: Well? This is this is kind of urgent. I call
- 14:16Speaker 5: your your house phone and I didn't get an answer,
- 14:19Speaker 5: and I had this other number on file, so I
- 14:21Speaker 5: wanted to reach out to you. But what I won't
- 14:23Speaker 5: take long, but it really is a hurt. All right, Well,
- 14:27Speaker 5: that urgent matter. If you don't matter, all right, hold.
- 14:29Speaker 13: On, hold on, let me step away from my tubercle. Okay,
- 14:33Speaker 13: so what's Brinkley.
- 14:36Speaker 5: We have a bit of a problem here and we're
- 14:39Speaker 5: gonna try to We're trying to clean up a lot
- 14:41Speaker 5: of things here at the church. You know, I hate
- 14:44Speaker 5: to be the one to bring you some bad news.
- 14:47Speaker 5: Let me just start by by saying this. God might
- 14:50Speaker 5: not be through with you, but we are here at
- 14:53Speaker 5: the church. It has been brought to eye attention sister Cara,
- 14:57Speaker 5: that you guys are halfway coming to church. To you
- 15:00Speaker 5: you might come once once out of a month. You're
- 15:03Speaker 5: not tithing as we expected. You know, the church can't
- 15:07Speaker 5: really depend on you. It's you you got you know,
- 15:10Speaker 5: you bring your kids. I think your brother comes to
- 15:13Speaker 5: the church. But everybody is coming every now and we
- 15:16Speaker 5: need we cannot depend on you all to be the
- 15:19Speaker 5: members and have the expectation of what we're trying to do.
- 15:22Speaker 13: What you say, you say your name is yes, and
- 15:29Speaker 13: you work, you work under the diction. I'm sorry, I've
- 15:34Speaker 13: never heard of you before.
- 15:35Speaker 5: I have been officiated by the pastor as I'm over
- 15:39Speaker 5: actually over the finance, and we're going through all of
- 15:42Speaker 5: the books and looking at all of the numbers of
- 15:44Speaker 5: the of the members of the church, the directory, and
- 15:47Speaker 5: we're noticing what people are paying tied, what people are
- 15:50Speaker 5: pan tied, who's coming to church, who's participating in different
- 15:53Speaker 5: and different uh uh ministries and whatnot. And Sister Takar,
- 15:58Speaker 5: I got I have to be honest with you. You
- 15:59Speaker 5: you the hell maybe once every want of someone, we
- 16:03Speaker 5: might see you might not see you, you know, and
- 16:06Speaker 5: like I say, God may not be through with you.
- 16:08Speaker 13: But we all, well, okay, you can't say that. Listen,
- 16:13Speaker 13: why I don't understand, Like, are y'all monitoring my my
- 16:18Speaker 13: my church going like I can I can't. I can't
- 16:21Speaker 13: have to go every single week.
- 16:23Speaker 5: I mean, I why are you absent so much at
- 16:27Speaker 5: the church? Explain that?
- 16:28Speaker 13: I mean, I have three kids, you know, I mean
- 16:32Speaker 13: I have two jobs. Sometimes I don't. I mean, I
- 16:35Speaker 13: still pray. I don't understand how a church can are.
- 16:39Speaker 5: You got two jobs, but we're not getting tired? Like
- 16:43Speaker 5: you got two jobs, you're not tied, and like you
- 16:46Speaker 5: got two jobs.
- 16:46Speaker 13: Cause I can't afford you Just you just.
- 16:49Speaker 5: Said I got two jobs.
- 16:50Speaker 13: That's what you just said, and that those two jobs
- 16:53Speaker 13: are in support my kids. I mean I can't support
- 16:56Speaker 13: the church and my kids. Is the same term I
- 16:58Speaker 13: can't do both? I mean I I do when I can.
- 17:02Speaker 5: Let me ask you something. What are you making on
- 17:04Speaker 5: that other job?
- 17:06Speaker 13: Are you serious? Are you you?
- 17:08Speaker 5: Really?
- 17:09Speaker 11: You?
- 17:09Speaker 13: Really? I didn't know the church?
- 17:12Speaker 5: God? Is this deep?
- 17:14Speaker 13: What you're really asking me? How much I make? And
- 17:17Speaker 13: my second job did I take to support my kids?
- 17:21Speaker 14: Come on?
- 17:21Speaker 9: Now?
- 17:22Speaker 13: Did this gotta be something?
- 17:24Speaker 5: I'm gonna say this to you again. God may not
- 17:27Speaker 5: be through with you, but we are. If you are
- 17:31Speaker 5: gonna pay your tides, if you're not gonna come to
- 17:34Speaker 5: work on a consistent basis, then what do you benefit
- 17:38Speaker 5: the church?
- 17:39Speaker 13: Is that what the church is about?
- 17:41Speaker 5: This? I'm gonna say this. I'm gonna say this to you.
- 17:44Speaker 5: You let me tell you what the church is all about?
- 17:47Speaker 5: The church is and you say, we go with.
- 17:50Speaker 13: You again one more time? I'm serious.
- 17:53Speaker 5: No, I'm gonna tell you this you're talking about? Is
- 17:55Speaker 5: that what the church is about? Let me tell you
- 17:57Speaker 5: what the church is. The church is a hot piddle
- 18:00Speaker 5: for crippled souls. You understand that that's what that's what
- 18:05Speaker 5: the church is. But when when we have the souls
- 18:07Speaker 5: that are coming in to be saved. We are doing
- 18:11Speaker 5: our job. And guess what those people that are coming in,
- 18:15Speaker 5: you know what they're doing. They're tithing. That's what they're doing.
- 18:18Speaker 5: They're tithing. You, sister Takara, I'm sure your soul is crippled.
- 18:23Speaker 5: You're not coming and you're not tithing. You may give
- 18:26Speaker 5: us a little some something when you show up. If
- 18:29Speaker 5: you show up, that am I right or wrong?
- 18:31Speaker 13: M Okay? Hold up, let me get what these straights.
- 18:35Speaker 13: This is what you called me for in the middle
- 18:38Speaker 13: of my work day to tell me that you're kicking
- 18:41Speaker 13: me out the church because I don't give enough money
- 18:44Speaker 13: to the church while I'm at my job that I
- 18:48Speaker 13: can very afford to pay.
- 18:50Speaker 5: My bills with.
- 18:51Speaker 13: So that a fact, I don't even know who you are.
- 18:54Speaker 12: I've never met you in my life.
- 18:56Speaker 13: And I don't know what this church you know?
- 18:59Speaker 5: This church?
- 19:00Speaker 13: I hate to say it, but if that's what the
- 19:01Speaker 13: church is about, you had the nerve to call me.
- 19:09Speaker 5: Okay, no, no, no, now let me say something. Now,
- 19:11Speaker 5: you being very unchristian like, now does the cards You're
- 19:16Speaker 5: gonna watch it done? In your language? Him?
- 19:18Speaker 13: This is not christian like?
- 19:20Speaker 5: Well, well do you do you know brother Dwyane. Isn't
- 19:24Speaker 5: that your brother?
- 19:25Speaker 9: Okay?

- 19:31Speaker 13: Really my brother?
- 19:33Speaker 12: So what so what is it about?
- 19:34Speaker 2: Huh whatever?
- 19:37Speaker 11: I don't know.
- 19:37Speaker 13: What is your name?
- 19:38Speaker 5: My name is nephew Tommy from the Steve Hobby Morning Show.
- 19:42Speaker 5: Your brother Dwanne got me the prank phone call you.
- 19:48Speaker 13: No, mo oh my gosh, she's got you. Can't meet
- 19:57Speaker 13: by you from this job.
- 19:58Speaker 12: I'll make a lobby.
- 20:01Speaker 13: I'm looking at me.
- 20:02Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, you are right. You tell me what's up?
- 20:11Speaker 13: No, no, no, oh my god, Oh my gosh, my
- 20:17Speaker 13: heart is racing.
- 20:19Speaker 5: Tell me that's the car. What is the baddest and
- 20:21Speaker 5: I mean the baddest radio show in the land, Steeve Harvey.
- 20:27Speaker 5: There you go.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Shut. God is not through with you, but we are.
- 20:30Speaker 10: That's that's that's a real statement.
- 20:35Speaker 2: I've heard it in church.
- 20:36Speaker 11: But I am all right.
- 20:37Speaker 2: That's when I first saw hate. Sister Patterson hated on
- 20:41Speaker 2: Sister Thornton's dinner rolls since Thorn had to bet den roll.
- 20:45Speaker 2: You hate if you want to, but I'm taking all right.
- 20:49Speaker 11: Thank you, junior.
- 20:50Speaker 9: You're listening.
- 20:51Speaker 11: Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of the
- 20:54Speaker 11: hour in Entertainment News. Just when you thought the Drake
- 20:57Speaker 11: Kendrick Lamar beef was down, well there will be a
- 21:01Speaker 11: documentary done about it. We can check that out soon. Also,
- 21:06Speaker 11: it looks like Ditty's high profile friends are paying off
- 21:09Speaker 11: their accusers to avoid lawsuits. And congratulations, we got to
- 21:14Speaker 11: say to Spike Lee as he is inducted into the
- 21:17Speaker 11: Basketball Hall of Fame. That's all coming up at the
- 21:20Speaker 11: top of the hour. Yeah, as a fan. Maybe as
- 21:24Speaker 11: a fan he's a big nix that's coming up at
- 21:29Speaker 11: the top, But right now it's time for as the
- 21:31Speaker 11: clo or Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey. This is from
- 21:35Speaker 11: France's in Buffalo Frans's Rights. I've been married thirty seven
- 21:39Speaker 11: years and I've never been satisfied in the bedroom. I
- 21:43Speaker 11: want to have sex with a guy that I work with,
- 21:45Speaker 11: just to see if there's a big difference. He said.
- 21:48Speaker 11: Once I try it, I will be hooked. This sounds
- 21:52Speaker 11: so risky. Is it worth a try or not?
- 21:56Speaker 5: No?
- 21:56Speaker 2: I really most dudes tell you that have lied anyway,
- 22:00Speaker 2: all have heard alive before. So you know, I don't
- 22:04Speaker 2: stay where you at matter fact that you ain't never
- 22:06Speaker 2: been satisfied in thirty seven years, and you set there
- 22:08Speaker 2: for thirty seven years. It's quite impressive to me.
- 22:12Speaker 5: Man.
- 22:12Speaker 2: I wanted to say kudos and congratulations and bone for
- 22:16Speaker 2: our yards and Bonavista and our style away whatever else
- 22:21Speaker 2: congratulatory remarks you can have in a foreign language or blesuego,
- 22:27Speaker 2: you know, whatever you want to call thirty seven years
- 22:31Speaker 2: of not being satisfied. I wouldn't even type that ladder
- 22:33Speaker 2: because I've fixed this long long, long time ago, or left.
- 22:39Speaker 2: I would have left. I'm not saying I'd have cheated
- 22:41Speaker 2: on you, but now I will say, I will you know,
- 22:44Speaker 2: see you about something else, though I would have to
- 22:47Speaker 2: see if bout something else. Yeah, because I don't know.
- 22:49Speaker 5: I don't.
- 22:50Speaker 2: First of all, I don't. I don't even know how
- 22:52Speaker 2: we getting married though, I don't even know how we're
- 22:54Speaker 2: gonna do that.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Maybe she thought, mat yeah, no no, no, no, no.
- 23:01Speaker 2: No no no. I need to get better than now. Yeah, yeah,
- 23:07Speaker 2: you know before we get some paperwork.
- 23:10Speaker 11: Yeah, all right. Moving on to John Paul in Charlotte,
- 23:15Speaker 11: John Paul writes, my wife made homemade soup that did
- 23:19Speaker 11: not smell right, and I couldn't tell what kind of
- 23:21Speaker 11: meat it had in it, so I didn't want to
- 23:24Speaker 11: try it. I poured my bowl down the disposal. I
- 23:27Speaker 11: forgot to clear it out. So my wife smelled it.
- 23:29Speaker 11: She's hurt. How do I fix this?
- 23:33Speaker 2: How do you smell soup in a garbage disposed? Well,
- 23:40Speaker 2: see right there? Maybe, well if you can smell it,
- 23:46Speaker 2: If you can smell soup in a garbage disposal, imagine
- 23:49Speaker 2: what he smelled in that bowl.
- 23:51Speaker 8: And he couldn't eat it. Now you know, did she
- 23:56Speaker 8: eat the soup?
- 23:58Speaker 2: Uh?
- 24:00Speaker 11: She made it?
- 24:01Speaker 1: She may Where does she.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Go shopping in to make this soup?
- 24:04Speaker 5: Dog?
- 24:04Speaker 2: Maybe you need to do a little research.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Well, why why he do.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Huh?
- 24:12Speaker 11: Why couldn't he talk to her and said, I just don't.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Smell right, I'm not gonna maybe I can't eat You
- 24:15Speaker 2: say soup you smell thish? Yeah, when you try something else?
- 24:24Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 24:25Speaker 11: Well, how does he fix it? What does he say
- 24:27Speaker 11: to fix it?
- 24:28Speaker 8: Donald?
- 24:28Speaker 2: You know, sorry about that? Maybe I've got to It's
- 24:33Speaker 2: gonna require some type of apology that I do know.
- 24:37Speaker 8: Hey, but you want to go out to eat it?
- 24:43Speaker 11: All right? Moving on to Dodd in Pensacola, God writes,
- 24:47Speaker 11: my daughter is thirty two and she flirts with my
- 24:50Speaker 11: man in my face. She asked him for some money,
- 24:53Speaker 11: and he told her she can have whatever she wants
- 24:56Speaker 11: if he can have whatever he wants. How do I
- 24:59Speaker 11: get my daughter to stop acting like that around my man?
- 25:02Speaker 2: What your man said? He can ask?
- 25:07Speaker 8: You can get whatever you want if I can get
- 25:09Speaker 8: whatever I want?
- 25:10Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 25:11Speaker 2: What do you think you need to talk to your daughter?
- 25:13Speaker 9: Right?
- 25:15Speaker 2: Terrible?
- 25:16Speaker 11: I think you need a new family a man.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't either want them sound right? Wo wow,
- 25:27Speaker 2: that's pretty that's pretty low down. But but he in
- 25:30Speaker 2: front of your face though, which you can get? Yeah,
- 25:33Speaker 2: yeah you can. If I get what I want, you
- 25:34Speaker 2: can get whatever you want.
- 25:38Speaker 11: That's crazy, it is, yeah.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Pretty much.
- 25:42Speaker 11: Yeah. So, but she just wants to know how does
- 25:46Speaker 11: she stop her daughter from acting like that around her man?
- 25:50Speaker 11: What that's your question?
- 25:53Speaker 2: I don't really know. I don't. I can't imagine being
- 25:58Speaker 2: disrespectful to my parents. I just that's not the life
- 26:02Speaker 2: I had. I have no experience at that. I just
- 26:05Speaker 2: wasn't it wasn't.
- 26:07Speaker 11: Even Yeah, yeah, I didn't a check our daughter.
- 26:15Speaker 8: Yeah you know, all right?
- 26:20Speaker 11: Last one, Steve, This is from mac in Douglasville. Max says,
- 26:24Speaker 11: I let my girlfriend drop me off at work and
- 26:26Speaker 11: keep my SUV so I can see what she's up
- 26:29Speaker 11: to when she's.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Not with me.
- 26:31Speaker 11: I tracked my truck down in the hood where I
- 26:33Speaker 11: buy my weed. Is she worth confronting? Or should I
- 26:37Speaker 11: leave this sneaky chick alone?
- 26:40Speaker 2: If you got to track your girl, that probably ain't
- 26:45Speaker 2: your girl. Now that truck down there in the hood
- 26:48Speaker 2: where you buy your wied let me ask you something.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Dog do y'all smoke weed together? Because she probably know
- 26:55Speaker 2: the plug too. That's all I'm seeing.
- 27:01Speaker 11: Doesn't mean she's cheating, is what you're saying.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Well, where her mama stay?
- 27:07Speaker 11: He just mama got to do with it.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Well, when my mama was living, I wanted to go
- 27:11Speaker 2: see her. I had to go the hood too, So
- 27:13Speaker 2: what what? Oh, she might be down there seeing her mama.
- 27:20Speaker 11: Can't you should confront her about it?
- 27:24Speaker 2: Well?
- 27:24Speaker 8: Or maybe her mama just start selling weed.
- 27:26Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 27:31Speaker 2: I'm just trying to help you bro be able to
- 27:33Speaker 2: get your case right.
- 27:37Speaker 11: So you're saying he should confront her, that's what you're saying?
- 27:40Speaker 5: Or are you?
- 27:42Speaker 8: I mean?
- 27:42Speaker 2: I would? Hey, hey, hey, where you be going? Matter
- 27:46Speaker 2: of fact? Just say hey, baby, I'll let you use
- 27:48Speaker 2: the truck. Where you go doing today? Uh huh, Well
- 27:52Speaker 2: I drive down there. You know where you buy your weed.
- 27:56Speaker 2: I go down there because I started buying mine from
- 27:58Speaker 2: down there. And you know, she tell the.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Truth, so you think she should tell the truth.
- 28:07Speaker 2: I don't recommend the truth. I don't know where did
- 28:14Speaker 2: you hear that?
- 28:16Speaker 11: It's weird though, you know, I'm trying to figure.
- 28:21Speaker 2: I holler, where did you hear that from?
- 28:25Speaker 7: Well, you said, actually what happened and where the car was,
- 28:29Speaker 7: So I mean that's what she was telling her boyfriend.
- 28:31Speaker 1: So I'm like, well, she told the truth.
- 28:34Speaker 2: So that's what if she If she tells you the truth,
- 28:37Speaker 2: then that I can't that's yeah, I can't see her
- 28:41Speaker 2: doing that or why wish.
- 28:44Speaker 7: Even if you tell her he has a tracker on
- 28:46Speaker 7: the car, he knows where the car is.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Damn what you got on that track of track? Track
- 28:52Speaker 2: is be y'all?
- 28:55Speaker 1: All right?
- 28:56Speaker 2: Maybe that tracker fell off your truck when you were
- 28:59Speaker 2: down there buying were.
- 29:05Speaker 11: Coming up next entertainment news right after this, you're listening Morning.
- 29:12Speaker 9: Show, all right.
- 29:15Speaker 11: So Drake and Kendrick Lamar held the biggest and most
- 29:18Speaker 11: entertaining rap beef in hip hop history this year, and
- 29:21Speaker 11: just when it's starting to die down a bit well,
- 29:24Speaker 11: Deadline reports that Channel four is in works to do
- 29:28Speaker 11: Public Enemies Kendrick Versus Drake, a documentary. Public Enemies Kendrick
- 29:33Speaker 11: Versus Drake is described as a cultural exploration of two
- 29:37Speaker 11: of the most influential voices in modern music, and will
- 29:40Speaker 11: delve into their backgrounds, talents, and visions that made them
- 29:44Speaker 11: global icons. And that sounds like something I would want
- 29:47Speaker 11: to see. I want to see it. Okay, Public Enemies
- 29:51Speaker 11: Kendrick Versus Three Okay, should be good. Maybe they'll talk
- 29:55Speaker 11: about the beef and everything.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:57Speaker 1: I don't even know how it started.
- 29:59Speaker 11: Yeah, that's that's what I was like.
- 30:02Speaker 7: He didn't want nothing to do with the beef with
- 30:04Speaker 7: Kendricks got in it.
- 30:07Speaker 2: It's a lie, like Drake shouldn't want to have to
- 30:11Speaker 2: do this no more.
- 30:12Speaker 1: This is a lot.
- 30:15Speaker 10: It's a lot Drake these songs together.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't understand what happened.
- 30:22Speaker 11: Well, maybe we'll find out in the documentary. It's coming up. Also,
- 30:25Speaker 11: we got to say congratulations to Kendrick Lamar. His song
- 30:28Speaker 11: Not Like Us broke the Hot Rap song chart record
- 30:32Speaker 11: for most week at number one. They not like us, Drake.
- 30:39Speaker 1: He has seen that though.
- 30:43Speaker 11: I can't wait for Public Enemies Kendrick Kendrick Versus Drake.
- 30:47Speaker 11: The documentary coming out soon.
- 30:52Speaker 1: But it is not.
- 30:56Speaker 11: I want to see it.
- 30:57Speaker 8: You ain't gonna understand it.
- 30:58Speaker 2: So what was your You don't know that you know
- 31:01Speaker 2: nothing about wrapped? Oh girl, you're like.
- 31:06Speaker 8: You're finish learned.
- 31:09Speaker 2: That's all you know. You'll know none. I surely watch
- 31:12Speaker 2: this right here.
- 31:13Speaker 11: Watch name I can't remember, don't even ask kit be humble,
- 31:22Speaker 11: stay humble that one, and they're not like us. There
- 31:26Speaker 11: you go, sit down and be humble. I know that one.
- 31:31Speaker 11: Moving on, Attorney Tony Busby, the lawyer that claims to
- 31:35Speaker 11: be representing one hundred and twenty new victims of sexual
- 31:37Speaker 11: assault by Diddy and his celebrity friends, stated that most
- 31:41Speaker 11: of the celebrities that have been accused of sexual assaults
- 31:44Speaker 11: have paid and settled with the accuser privately. According to
- 31:48Speaker 11: The Daily Mail, attorney Busby said, in every single case,
- 31:52Speaker 11: especially cases like this, because it's in the best interests
- 31:55Speaker 11: of the victim, we attempt to resolve these matters without
- 31:59Speaker 11: the fire of a public lawsuit. And we've done that
- 32:02Speaker 11: already with a handful of individuals, many of which you've
- 32:05Speaker 11: heard of before. Busby stated that there are, however, some
- 32:09Speaker 11: celebrities that haven't heeded the warning from his office, and
- 32:12Speaker 11: they are set to be named in lawsuits in the
- 32:15Speaker 11: coming weeks. Wow, so he's working on this.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Well, I mean, what can you what's your thinking?
- 32:25Speaker 8: Wow?
- 32:27Speaker 2: Well, I thank God for that.
- 32:29Speaker 5: At least.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Huh, I said, I thank God for that. At least
- 32:35Speaker 2: I ain't in that. So but you know what, though,
- 32:39Speaker 2: there are you know what I'm telling you, though, there's
- 32:42Speaker 2: just a lot of false claims out there. There are
- 32:45Speaker 2: a lot of them. There are people after a paycheck.
- 32:48Speaker 2: There are a lot of people making false claims. Man.
- 32:52Speaker 2: And we live in a sad, sad society where you know,
- 32:57Speaker 2: people are And the problem that we have is once
- 33:01Speaker 2: even okay, even if it's proven that the man is innocent,
- 33:06Speaker 2: his reputation is tarnished and that nothing happens to the
- 33:09Speaker 2: person who brings these false charges. And that's where the
- 33:14Speaker 2: unfairness comes in at you know, like people do cease
- 33:18Speaker 2: and desist all the time, but nothing happens to the
- 33:21Speaker 2: person who had to cease or desist and decease. That's
- 33:26Speaker 2: the problem with it. You know you can't. It's not fair, man.
- 33:30Speaker 2: It is really not fair to be allowed to accuse
- 33:34Speaker 2: a person of something, try to extort them, find out
- 33:37Speaker 2: it ain't true, and then you get to skip to
- 33:39Speaker 2: the lou my dollar off which you didn't get no money,
- 33:42Speaker 2: but you.
- 33:43Speaker 7: Try, and then it really makes it hard for the
- 33:47Speaker 7: real victim for their story too.
- 33:49Speaker 2: It makes it really difficult for the real victory and
- 33:53Speaker 2: it makes it and it makes it difficult for the
- 33:56Speaker 2: accused who has to suffer the unfair scrup and public
- 34:02Speaker 2: opinion over something that was false, because as soon as
- 34:05Speaker 2: you hear this, you start thinking, oh, he did that,
- 34:08Speaker 2: And sometimes that's not the case, right, But the person
- 34:12Speaker 2: who accused him of it, who wanted to try to
- 34:14Speaker 2: extort them for some money, if they lose, they just
- 34:17Speaker 2: go away. That has to be a penalty for people
- 34:20Speaker 2: who make false charges on people. That has to be
- 34:25Speaker 2: a penalty for that.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Yeah, Oh I'm sorry.
- 34:29Speaker 2: Yeah, especially if you falsely accuse somebody. Man, you messing
- 34:32Speaker 2: with a person's reputation.
- 34:34Speaker 11: We'll see how this case plays out. Yeah, and check
- 34:38Speaker 11: this out. New York Knicks superfan Spike Lee was inducted
- 34:43Speaker 11: into the Nasmith Basketball Hall of Fame for being a
- 34:45Speaker 11: super fan and an ambassador of the game. Spike Lee
- 34:49Speaker 11: joins other inductees actors Billy Crystal and Jack Nicholson, and
- 34:54Speaker 11: real estate developer Alan Horwitz as part of the Jimmy
- 34:57Speaker 11: Goldstein Superman Superfan Gallery. The super Fan Gallery was created
- 35:01Speaker 11: back in twenty twenty one to honor the NBA's biggest
- 35:04Speaker 11: and most tenured fans, and Spike Lee is certainly one
- 35:08Speaker 11: of those for the East and Jack Nickerson for the West.
- 35:11Speaker 11: He loves his Lakers.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Yeah you think, Tommy, you get one of them for
- 35:16Speaker 2: Texas A and m College.
- 35:20Speaker 11: What about you for Cleveland though, Yeah, I don't go
- 35:25Speaker 11: to no games.
- 35:25Speaker 2: They ain't got no pictures of me at the game.
- 35:28Speaker 11: Would talk about them on your radio show.
- 35:30Speaker 1: I love Cleveland Brown loved him boys.
- 35:34Speaker 2: Man, dude, man, they hurt me though, they over and
- 35:37Speaker 2: over and over. The pain I'll suffer. Oh yeah.
- 35:46Speaker 11: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we have
- 35:48Speaker 11: information on Hurricane Milton, especially for those unable to evacuate.
- 35:54Speaker 11: Right after this, you're listening Hardy Morning Show, the Nash
- 35:59Speaker 11: will her Hurricane Center. Warren in an update yesterday that
- 36:02Speaker 11: while Hurricane Milton is expected to weaken before it makes
- 36:06Speaker 11: landfall Wednesday night, Milton has the potential to be one
- 36:10Speaker 11: of the most destructive hurricanes on record for West central Florida.
- 36:15Speaker 11: Hurricane Milton could change its path and an exact location
- 36:19Speaker 11: where it will hit land is still unknown. Many Florida
- 36:23Speaker 11: residents jammed highways trying to evacuate, but there are some
- 36:27Speaker 11: that aren't able to leave. They are not able to leave.
- 36:29Speaker 11: They just can't leave. They have nowhere to go. For
- 36:32Speaker 11: those people that are not able to evacuate, there are
- 36:35Speaker 11: storm shelters set up across Florida. You can go to
- 36:39Speaker 11: Florida disaster dot org. That's Florida disaster dot org to
- 36:44Speaker 11: see what your options are and there are relief counselors
- 36:47Speaker 11: available to help. That's floridadisaster dot Org.
- 36:51Speaker 2: Well, you know another thing is you know neighbors. Check
- 36:55Speaker 2: on neighbors a lot of times in nice neighborhoods. You know,
- 36:59Speaker 2: the as an elderly person that stays across the street
- 37:02Speaker 2: or something. Just go check on them, man, see how
- 37:04Speaker 2: they're doing. If they you know, it can't it can't
- 37:07Speaker 2: hurt you. You might not be able to take them
- 37:09Speaker 2: with you where you're going, but you can drop them
- 37:11Speaker 2: off at the shelter. You know, just kind of look
- 37:14Speaker 2: out for one another man, just neighbors being neighbors. But
- 37:18Speaker 2: they're really talking about how difficult difference is is gonna be,
- 37:21Speaker 2: so we gotta you gotta adhere to the evacuation. I
- 37:25Speaker 2: appreciate the roads being packed going north, but like they say,
- 37:29Speaker 2: some people can't leave, and though those are the people
- 37:31Speaker 2: you have to be concerned about. So show a little
- 37:33Speaker 2: compassion for your fellow man, if you got that in you.
- 37:36Speaker 2: If you don't got that in your God and know
- 37:38Speaker 2: it anyway, and he ain't gonna have none for you.
- 37:40Speaker 2: So you know, that's how that do forgive us, How
- 37:43Speaker 2: trustpasses that we give, those who trustpass against us. That's
- 37:46Speaker 2: what that means, you know. So you know, just trying
- 37:50Speaker 2: to scare you into doing the right thing, you know,
- 37:53Speaker 2: just trying to get you a little closer to your
- 37:56Speaker 2: goal of heaven.
- 37:59Speaker 7: Yeah, you have some compassion. I mean, this storm is
- 38:02Speaker 7: a monster. I mean, you know it's a monster. Disney
- 38:05Speaker 7: World is closed. They close Disney World. You very rarely
- 38:09Speaker 7: hear about.
- 38:09Speaker 11: Them closing down Disney World.
- 38:11Speaker 1: So this is not a joke.
- 38:13Speaker 7: And if you can't leave, you and you know you
- 38:16Speaker 7: have people that are there that can't leave, you know, essentials, water,
- 38:19Speaker 7: nonperishable food items, batteries, candles. These are things that you
- 38:24Speaker 7: should always have, especially if you live in a hurricane area,
- 38:27Speaker 7: to be prepared to try if you're trying to ride
- 38:30Speaker 7: the storm out. But you hear the elect officials and
- 38:33Speaker 7: the local people in Florida saying please leave. If you're
- 38:37Speaker 7: told to evacuate, you will not you possibly.
- 38:40Speaker 8: Because that ride the storm out theory for.
- 38:44Speaker 1: These storms are different.
- 38:46Speaker 9: Yeah, you can do.
- 38:47Speaker 2: It doesn't work for so many people. I'm a ride
- 38:50Speaker 2: the storm out, It's not this is not what you
- 38:53Speaker 2: do that.
- 38:55Speaker 11: If you just help go to Florida disaster dot org.
- 38:58Speaker 11: What are you saying? Girls?
- 38:59Speaker 7: I was saying, if you decide to stay and ride
- 39:02Speaker 7: it out, and then now first responders can't get to
- 39:04Speaker 7: you because it's too dangerous, So when they tell you
- 39:07Speaker 7: to evacuate, it's for your own safety as well.
- 39:10Speaker 11: Yeah, all right, guys again, floridadisaster dot org coming up.
- 39:15Speaker 11: At thirty four minutes after the hour, MSNBC host said
- 39:19Speaker 11: that Trump is preparing for civil war we'll talk about
- 39:23Speaker 11: it right after this.
- 39:25Speaker 9: You're listening Hardy Morning Show.
- 39:28Speaker 11: Well, on Monday, MSNBC host Joe Scarborough of Morning Joe
- 39:33Speaker 11: said that Donald Trump and his desperate family are preparing
- 39:37Speaker 11: for civil war after Trump spoke about assassination attempts on
- 39:40Speaker 11: political rivals and he mentioned quote an enemy within. This
- 39:45Speaker 11: has caused widespread fear of another horrific event like the
- 39:49Speaker 11: insurrection on January sixth, but much worse. Late last week,
- 39:53Speaker 11: during a speech at the White House, when asked if
- 39:56Speaker 11: the upcoming election would be free, fair and peaceful as
- 40:00Speaker 11: an invite, and warned of the potential for violence and
- 40:03Speaker 11: said the aftermath of the election could be violent. That
- 40:08Speaker 11: is scary in America. That is really scary.
- 40:11Speaker 2: Well, because they've allowed Donald Trump to hijack the entire
- 40:17Speaker 2: Republican Party, which used to not be a bad party.
- 40:23Speaker 2: But once you allow him to be the head of
- 40:26Speaker 2: your party, then you have to suffer under his guidelines.
- 40:30Speaker 2: Everybody that says something he don't like is fake news.
- 40:34Speaker 2: Everybody that's against him is the enemy. He calls out
- 40:39Speaker 2: on his people to act a certain way. You know,
- 40:43Speaker 2: he's divisive. I mean, this country, man is just it's not.
- 40:48Speaker 2: It's it's his way or the highway, and that's the
- 40:51Speaker 2: danger here. And I don't don't, man, I really don't
- 40:54Speaker 2: understand how people don't see it. But everybody knows that
- 40:58Speaker 2: this guy's he's not going to do a peaceful transition
- 41:02Speaker 2: of power.
- 41:02Speaker 11: He's not going.
- 41:03Speaker 2: To do that. He didn't do that last time. He
- 41:06Speaker 2: ain't gonna do it this time. If he loses, he's
- 41:09Speaker 2: already saying it's going to be a blood bath. I
- 41:12Speaker 2: don't know how many what else do that mean? Well,
- 41:16Speaker 2: it was taken out a context. Blood bath mean ass whooping?
- 41:20Speaker 2: That's been that way, Yeah, at a high school basketball
- 41:26Speaker 2: game of what that It's always led to violence, It's
- 41:33Speaker 2: never been a term of endearment. That's bloodbath does mean
- 41:38Speaker 2: what it's going to be read in the bathtub? No,
- 41:40Speaker 2: that ain't what that means.
- 41:41Speaker 11: No, it does not. And the race is close, Steve,
- 41:44Speaker 11: You've mentioned that several times how close this presidential race is.
- 41:48Speaker 11: But we still can make a difference if we go
- 41:51Speaker 11: and cast our vote, we still can.
- 41:53Speaker 2: We are the difference.
- 41:55Speaker 11: Yeah, we saw four years ago that we are.
- 41:59Speaker 2: The difference, y'all. If we show up for Kamala has
- 42:03Speaker 2: she would be president, and that that will send a
- 42:05Speaker 2: clear message in a lot of ways. So all of this,
- 42:09Speaker 2: why we vote. They ain't gonna do nothing for us,
- 42:10Speaker 2: Do something for yourself, Send a message about us, Send
- 42:14Speaker 2: a message for your children that is doable, that is,
- 42:18Speaker 2: think that the White House is thinkable? Now do that
- 42:20Speaker 2: for your children. For the imagery of what it would
- 42:23Speaker 2: look like to have this woman as president, you know,
- 42:26Speaker 2: the only is ignorant mess y'all talking, just ignorant man
- 42:30Speaker 2: without giving any forethought to who we are as a
- 42:33Speaker 2: people and what we've gone through. Why would you vote
- 42:35Speaker 2: for a man who simply has told you on a
- 42:39Speaker 2: hat and everything he gonna make America great again? When
- 42:42Speaker 2: was this great for us? Ever? What period you want
- 42:44Speaker 2: to go to?
- 42:46Speaker 5: Right?
- 42:46Speaker 11: And you know, and just think of you know, everybody's asking,
- 42:49Speaker 11: well what we don't know her? Look at how quickly
- 42:52Speaker 11: she turned this campaign around, how quickly she jumped into
- 42:55Speaker 11: the campaign and made it work. You know, I mean,
- 42:59Speaker 11: get so many people on her side. She didn't have
- 43:01Speaker 11: time to do. All of these people have years to
- 43:04Speaker 11: get ready for this.
- 43:05Speaker 1: We don't know her weeks.
- 43:07Speaker 2: We do know Donald Trump? What see y'all gonna make
- 43:13Speaker 2: me cuss? This is bull. Listen to me. Quit talking
- 43:18Speaker 2: about we don't know her, you know him. What is
- 43:22Speaker 2: it about him that's attractive to you as a black person?
- 43:28Speaker 2: What is it about him that's attractive to you? What
- 43:33Speaker 2: is it that he does? What has he said? I'm
- 43:35Speaker 2: telling y'all, man, you ignorant if you don't understand what
- 43:38Speaker 2: he means by make America great again?
- 43:41Speaker 8: What time period are we going to? Y'all?
- 43:45Speaker 2: He keeps trying to take it back. I'm telling y'all, man,
- 43:48Speaker 2: this is not the guy for us. He's really not
- 43:51Speaker 2: the guy for this country. But when you are of
- 43:55Speaker 2: light mindedness like he is, you will go in there
- 43:58Speaker 2: and pull the trigger him. But if you look at
- 44:02Speaker 2: this for real, there's no way he should be president.
- 44:05Speaker 2: But then there's seventy million people in this country who
- 44:10Speaker 2: can vote who I exactly like him.
- 44:13Speaker 11: I have to agree with you on that one. All right,
- 44:17Speaker 11: Coming up next, it is the prank phone call for today.
- 44:20Speaker 11: Right after this, you're listening Hard Morning Show. Coming up
- 44:25Speaker 11: at about four minutes after the hour, it's my Strawberry
- 44:28Speaker 11: letter for today, and the subject is his bad jokes backfired.
- 44:33Speaker 11: We'll get into that and find out what that's all
- 44:35Speaker 11: about in just a few but right now it is
- 44:37Speaker 11: Junior in for the nephew with today's prank phone call
- 44:40Speaker 11: which you got for us?
- 44:41Speaker 9: Junior?
- 44:41Speaker 2: Yeah, in for the nephew.
- 44:43Speaker 10: Just this some I want to ask the team, has
- 44:46Speaker 10: you has anybody heard from you?
- 44:48Speaker 1: Do we know.
- 44:50Speaker 2: What a nephew is different?
- 44:52Speaker 5: Well?
- 44:53Speaker 10: Actually yeah, Junior, he DIDEP we do on this one.
- 44:58Speaker 2: Well he's believing not and be embarrassed to say, but
- 45:03Speaker 2: he's he's on vacation. Okay, Okay, I don't know who's going.
- 45:13Speaker 1: Okay, he said he's gonna back.
- 45:15Speaker 2: Did you see the paperwork? No, we don't, We don't.
- 45:19Speaker 2: We don't, okay, paper.
- 45:20Speaker 1: We don't do paperwork at this company.
- 45:22Speaker 2: That Yeah, I ain't seen no paperwork to two thousand.
- 45:33Speaker 1: Not a piece of paperwork.
- 45:35Speaker 8: No, really you know they find out corporate person.
- 45:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't. I don't respond emails either. So if
- 45:42Speaker 2: you don't catch me, you're really not talking.
- 45:44Speaker 10: If we don't catch you, you don't even have a
- 45:48Speaker 10: copy of the show or nothing. You don't know what's coming.
- 45:51Speaker 2: You don't, No, I don't.
- 45:53Speaker 8: You know. The producers Moniquin call it.
- 45:55Speaker 2: They do. They produce the shows alternate and uh, they
- 45:59Speaker 2: make copies of the show, they send them to you,
- 46:01Speaker 2: and Tommy gets a copy you got. I don't need
- 46:06Speaker 2: no copy of no show. I don't want to know
- 46:08Speaker 2: you do, but you just don't go on. It would
- 46:13Speaker 2: help a great deal if yes. Well, I enjoy coming
- 46:16Speaker 2: to work being surprised every day, you know, and then
- 46:22Speaker 2: not only with what's gonna happen today, but what each
- 46:24Speaker 2: segment is. That's like I don't know when it's Roscoe
- 46:28Speaker 2: Wallace in today. I don't know when it's Old Dale's day. Yeah,
- 46:32Speaker 2: I don't really know when the pass has come on.
- 46:34Speaker 2: I just when y'all raise your hand and tell me
- 46:36Speaker 2: that's hope, then that's what I do.
- 46:39Speaker 8: Okay, Well, yes, yes, Carler, What are.
- 46:42Speaker 1: We about to do right now?
- 46:43Speaker 7: Because we do it every day at this time for
- 46:46Speaker 7: the last twenty years.
- 46:47Speaker 1: What are we about to do?
- 46:50Speaker 2: Nothing?
- 46:52Speaker 5: Right?
- 46:53Speaker 8: There?
- 46:56Speaker 11: He goes, getting a.

- 52:46Speaker 8: Charlotte, tell me what we're gonna do next.
- 52:48Speaker 2: On the way out, was it prepping? That's what it
- 52:51Speaker 2: sounds like.
- 52:52Speaker 1: That's what it is.
- 52:53Speaker 10: You said before we went to the prank, you said,
- 52:55Speaker 10: it's Strawberry letter time.
- 52:56Speaker 2: You just I just step that's all.
- 52:59Speaker 16: Yeah, Hey, Junior, you know man, you know you know
- 53:03Speaker 16: because tom ain't it that. That ain't more time, Junior,
- 53:08Speaker 16: you're supposed to say, sure it is.
- 53:15Speaker 8: Now you give do today on Sports Figure.
- 53:20Speaker 10: Talk about I don't even saying that long Tommy talk
- 53:23Speaker 10: about I don't even do that.
- 53:24Speaker 2: I respect you.
- 53:25Speaker 8: Don't can know about Tommy talking about me, man, Tommy wish.
- 53:32Speaker 11: All right, coming up next Strawberry letter for today. The
- 53:35Speaker 11: subject is bad jokes backfired. We'll get into it right after.

- 53:41Speaker 2: This one.

- 53:50Speaker 11: parenting and more, please submit your Strawberry Letter at Steve

- 53:58Speaker 11: be reading your letter live on the air, just like
- 54:01Speaker 11: we're going to read this one right here, right now,
- 54:03Speaker 11: and you never know, it could be yours.
- 54:06Speaker 1: It could be yours. Ladies and gentlemen.
- 54:07Speaker 10: It is time for the Strawberry Little with my good
- 54:09Speaker 10: friend Shirley Strawberry.
- 54:11Speaker 11: Thank you, my good friend Kier Junior spates subject his
- 54:15Speaker 11: bad jokes backfired. Dear Stephen, Shirley, My husband tried his
- 54:20Speaker 11: hand at comedy a few years before I met him.
- 54:23Speaker 11: He started doing amateur nights, but his career never took off.
- 54:26Speaker 11: After a local club burned down, so he started doing
- 54:30Speaker 11: fundraisers at the church, and his jokes almost got him
- 54:33Speaker 11: put out of the church. I married him after he
- 54:36Speaker 11: got a job at a car dealership. He's great at
- 54:38Speaker 11: selling cars, so I encouraged him to stick to that.
- 54:42Speaker 11: He told me years ago that he has to exercise
- 54:45Speaker 11: his comedy muscle or he would lose it. He never
- 54:49Speaker 11: had it. Since he doesn't have an audience, he tells
- 54:52Speaker 11: all of our business and tries to pass it off
- 54:55Speaker 11: as jokes. I turned a whole load of white clothes
- 54:58Speaker 11: pink after I watched a red towel.
- 55:00Speaker 1: With the load.
- 55:01Speaker 11: At a family dinner, he made a joke out of that.
- 55:04Speaker 11: He was cracking up and everyone was telling him that
- 55:07Speaker 11: I was about to bust his head for making fun
- 55:09Speaker 11: of me. He's made bad jokes about me falling asleep
- 55:12Speaker 11: while we're intimate, and it made everyone in the room
- 55:14Speaker 11: very uncomfortable. I got so tired of it that I
- 55:18Speaker 11: started to put him on blast and play it off
- 55:21Speaker 11: as a joke. I told how he can't last in
- 55:23Speaker 11: bed some night, so I have to make sure I
- 55:25Speaker 11: have plenty of batteries in the nightstand with my toys.
- 55:28Speaker 11: All of our friends were laughing like crazy at my jokes.
- 55:32Speaker 11: I may have gone too far, but I wanted to
- 55:34Speaker 11: get his attention. I never expected him to get mad
- 55:37Speaker 11: enough to stop talking to me, but that's what happened.
- 55:41Speaker 11: He said, my jokes are mean and his are fun
- 55:44Speaker 11: and lighthearted. He's overlooking the fact that he is not
- 55:47Speaker 11: funny or entertaining. He said, I'm trying to steal his
- 55:51Speaker 11: joy without even knowing the basics of comedy. It's a
- 55:55Speaker 11: lost cause at this point, he has a nerve to
- 55:58Speaker 11: be mad. How do I settle all of this nonsense?
- 56:01Speaker 2: Where you wrote the right show for this? I guess
- 56:04Speaker 2: you did.
- 56:05Speaker 11: And as you know, I work with a comedian every
- 56:07Speaker 11: single day, three of them, as a matter of fact.
- 56:09Speaker 11: One of them is the king of comedy, Steve Harvey.
- 56:12Speaker 2: So this I know for sure.
- 56:15Speaker 11: You got to be able to make people laugh. You
- 56:17Speaker 11: got to be funny if you want to be a comedian, Okay,
- 56:19Speaker 11: And I'm so sure that that's rule number one. It's
- 56:23Speaker 11: not bad that he tells jokes about his life. Comedians
- 56:27Speaker 11: do that all the time, They draw from their life experience.
- 56:30Speaker 11: Steve makes us laugh every day. It's what he does,
- 56:34Speaker 11: it's who he is. He's just funny. But in your
- 56:37Speaker 11: husband's case, if no one's laughing, then maybe that's not
- 56:40Speaker 11: what your husband does. And that's the part I think
- 56:43Speaker 11: that he doesn't get. If no one ever laughs at
- 56:46Speaker 11: his jokes, then it's not what he should be doing period. Okay.
- 56:52Speaker 11: I mean, we as women love men with a sense
- 56:56Speaker 11: of humor and who can make us laugh. And you're
- 56:59Speaker 11: not laughing at all. It really sounds like you're the
- 57:02Speaker 11: funny one in the family. And clearly maybe he can't
- 57:05Speaker 11: take a joke when the joke is on him. So
- 57:08Speaker 11: I think his anger is a combination of him realizing
- 57:11Speaker 11: he's not funny and him hating on you because the
- 57:14Speaker 11: people laughed at your jokes. I think as a family,
- 57:17Speaker 11: a husband and wife, you guys should leave the comedy
- 57:20Speaker 11: to the professionals before this really gets out of hand.
- 57:23Speaker 2: Steve, Well, thank you, Cherl. I taking from here wonderful response.
- 57:27Speaker 2: I hope you all enjoyed. Shirley's response, Nah, gonna be different.
- 57:32Speaker 8: Let me start by saying, stay in your lane.
- 57:36Speaker 2: What is you over here for? This whole letter got disasterful.
- 57:41Speaker 2: Let me just break the letter down for you, line
- 57:43Speaker 2: by line. What went wrong in this letter? My husband
- 57:47Speaker 2: tried his hand in comedy a few years ago. Right here,
- 57:51Speaker 2: tried his hand.
- 57:52Speaker 8: At comedy, says disaster.
- 57:55Speaker 2: Before I met him, he started doing amateur nights listen
- 57:59Speaker 2: to this, but his career never took off after the
- 58:03Speaker 2: local club burned down.
- 58:05Speaker 8: Let me tell you something. If your ass is so bad.
- 58:07Speaker 2: That somebody came over there after your performance, on amateur
- 58:11Speaker 2: night set the club on fire. That was a sign
- 58:14Speaker 2: right there that ain't what you do.
- 58:17Speaker 8: Hey man.
- 58:18Speaker 2: You got off stage and somebody came back that next
- 58:21Speaker 2: night it said I'm not coming down here to see
- 58:24Speaker 2: this no more, and set the damn club on fire.
- 58:26Speaker 2: Oh club going. So he started doing fundraisers at the church,
- 58:33Speaker 2: and his jokes almost got him put out the church.
- 58:35Speaker 2: Now let me tell you something. Don't nothing work as
- 58:38Speaker 2: a fundraiser at the church. I'm just gonna here to
- 58:40Speaker 2: tell you we've all been a part of the building
- 58:44Speaker 2: fund for a number of years at our church. What
- 58:48Speaker 2: church you know?
- 58:49Speaker 8: Then built some off the building fund.
- 58:53Speaker 2: I went to the same church twenty four years, had
- 58:56Speaker 2: a little building fund box set up. We put building
- 58:59Speaker 2: fund box on that twenty years, I ain't seen a
- 59:03Speaker 2: doknob get put on the church. He started doing fundraisers
- 59:08Speaker 2: at the church and his jokes almost got him put
- 59:11Speaker 2: out the church. Then you married him after he got
- 59:14Speaker 2: a job at the car dealership, so I encouraged him
- 59:18Speaker 2: to stick to that.
- 59:19Speaker 8: Now listen to me.
- 59:20Speaker 2: This is where nobody in my entire comedy career saying, hey, Steve,
- 59:26Speaker 2: you need to start selling cars. Though you need to
- 59:31Speaker 2: you really need to look into selling cars. I've never
- 59:35Speaker 2: heard that, so if you've heard an alternate profession suggested
- 59:41Speaker 2: to you by an audience member, this is probably not
- 59:46Speaker 2: what you now. I've had some bad nights, we all have.
- 59:50Speaker 2: I wanted to disappear on that stage. I dream a genie.
- 59:54Speaker 2: I wanted to just blink my ass right out of there.
- 59:58Speaker 2: But I ain't never had to go sale cars. You
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: encouraged him to stick to that, and then he told
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: you years ago he got to exercise his comedy muscle,
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: that he'll lose it.
- 1:00:09Speaker 8: He never had it.
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: You can't give what you never had.
- 1:00:15Speaker 8: Well, well, bless your soul, you can fool a feuse.
- 1:00:20Speaker 11: All right, we'll have part two if ah know the truth.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Thanks.
- 1:00:25Speaker 11: After his bad jokes backfired is the subject of today's
- 1:00:29Speaker 11: Strawberry Letter as he sings us.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: Out, we'll be back.
- 1:00:33Speaker 8: Why his career will not take off.
- 1:00:37Speaker 9: You're listening Morning show?
- 1:00:40Speaker 11: All right, you on Steve, Let's recap today's Strawberry Letters.
- 1:00:43Speaker 11: Subject is bad jokes backfired.
- 1:00:45Speaker 8: Yeah, we're back.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: And this lady married to this dude that's an amateur comedian,
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: thought he was good. Career didn't take off and after
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: the show one night he was doing amateur nights. His
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: career didn't take off, and it says after the local
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: club burned down. It didn't just burned down, it got
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: set on fire. Somebody came through there and saw your
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: husband set that night and decided this place didn't need
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: to exist because it kept putting him up on Tuesday nights,
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: and so they burned the club down. He decided to
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: take his craft over to church and participated in the
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: building fund that almost got him put out the church.
- 1:01:21Speaker 8: I don't know what joke he told, who is that
- 1:01:24Speaker 8: on that cross?
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: Hey?
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: Boy, what did you say? Who see? I'm telling you
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: you dudes that ain't got it ain't got it. He
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: got a great job selling cars and he was great
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: at it, so she encouraged him. He told me years
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: ago he got to exercise his comedy muscle or he'll
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: lose it. Well, you didn't have no comedy muscle, though,
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: So since he doesn't have an audience anymore, what he
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: does is he tells all of their business and tries
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: to pass it off as jokes. So she turned a
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: whole load of white clothes pink. After she washed the
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: red tie with the load I did that in college.
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: Wasn't at a family dinner. He made a joke about that.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: He was cracking up, and everybody was telling him. I
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: was about to bust his head from making.
- 1:02:13Speaker 9: Fun of me.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: He's made bad jokes about me falling asleep while we're intimate,
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: and it made everybody in the room very uncomfortable. So
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: I got tired of it. Here we go, Here we go,
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: This is what the letter about. Right here, I started
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: to put him on blasts and play it off as
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: a joke. I told him how he can't last in
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: bed at night, So I got to make sure I
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: got plenty of batteries in the night stand for my toy.
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: Wa WHOA, Now, let me tell you what. He's sitting
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: over there looking straight crazy. Yeah, because first of all,
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: his joke was about you falling asleep while we intimate. Well,
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: that joke's on him. This is how stupid he is
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: falling asleep while y'all being intimate. What that say about you? Well,
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: she probably sleep because you ain't doing nothing exactly. Why,
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: So now I gotta make sure I got plenty batteries
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: in the nice hand. All our friends was laughing like
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: crazy at our jokes. I may have gone too far. Now,
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: me personally, I don't think you did. See that's the
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: thing about comedians. I really don't see how you went
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: too far. Matter of fact, I don't think you went
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: far enough. I'd have done molding that. But she said
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: I think I've gone too far. Well, let lem explain
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: something to you. Comedians always get accused of going too far.
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: I've been shut down on my period on radio show.
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: I can't count the times they said, we're not putting
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: that on the air. Start over, mister, you know I've
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: been I've had to do a lot of things with
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: the show because they say I'm going too far. Well,
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: I don't think is far. See the problem See with
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: me as a comedian and with this lady. She's probably
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: got more comedy blood in her than her husband. The
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: thing with comedians is we don't think we over the
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: line because our line is way out there. That's this,
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: y'all line we crossed. See this y'all line.
- 1:04:17Speaker 8: This ain't my line. I ain't nowhere near my line yet.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: Too far is too far?
- 1:04:22Speaker 11: Okay, too far to you shirt.
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: But me and the writer of this letter were hollering
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: about the batteries in that night stre.
- 1:04:32Speaker 8: She said, But I did it to get his attention.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: I never expected him to get mad enough to stop
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: talking to me, but that's what happened. He said, My
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: jokes are mean, and here is a fun and light
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: hearted that ain't no good joke though. See real jokes,
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: and Junior will attest to this. Real jokes are ninety
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: percent truth. That's what makes them really ninety ninety five
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: percent truth. Now, the truth is you fall asleep when
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: he's into me. The truth is you got some extra
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: batteries in your nice stand, because when he go to sleep,
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: you wake up everybody in the night stand. Come on, Rabbit,
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: come on, sael of a bullet, are you come on, Thunderboat?
- 1:05:22Speaker 11: Are you crazy?
- 1:05:23Speaker 8: Come on, Rocky, come on, squirrel.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: You know when we had men too far?
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: Oh, let's see here, ready, Woody Woodpecker, Woody wood peckle
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: to off, Big Thunder, Big Thunder.
- 1:05:40Speaker 8: Was too far. Stop asking me, little rabbit.
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: Everybody something else? Anyway, he said, I'm trying to steal
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: his joy without even knowing the basics of comedy. Well,
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: she was killing a minute ago, so you may not
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: know the basics of comedy, but he don't know nothing.
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: About comedy. It's a lost cause. At this point he
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: has a nerve to be mad. How do I settle
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: all of this nonsense? You don't you let it go?
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: Just let it go?
- 1:06:16Speaker 8: What's that song to little kid say, let it go?
- 1:06:20Speaker 5: Let it go? Yeah?
- 1:06:22Speaker 8: That movie about the Ice?
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: Do that?
- 1:06:25Speaker 8: Just let it go?
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: And there's nothing you can do about it. He has
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: no chance at comedy. Tell him Uncle Steve said that
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: you got no shot at the big time. It's over
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: what your wife could be a writer?
- 1:06:41Speaker 11: Believe you're tements on Today's Strawberry Letter on Instagram and

- 1:07:02Speaker 10: Before I get the sport, Can I just say this
- 1:07:04Speaker 10: that about the Strawberry Letter, Can I take the man
- 1:07:07Speaker 10: wife on the road with me?
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: I would let her open.
- 1:07:09Speaker 15: If she tell that one joke and leave, she gonna
- 1:07:12Speaker 15: kill every single time, every single time I saw she
- 1:07:18Speaker 15: got to do to tell that one joke and leave,
- 1:07:20Speaker 15: she gonna kill because that's.
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: You can't take nobody's wife on the road every now
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: and then you forget your man.
- 1:07:31Speaker 14: Oh god, you know what I forgot.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: I see on the radio she gonna say, Oh so
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: you want to take other wives on the road, but
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: you don't take me.
- 1:07:43Speaker 5: That's why you're here.
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: Yeah, here the guide you through this Maids called man.
- 1:07:51Speaker 8: You don't listen to me. You're gonna take You're gonna
- 1:07:54Speaker 8: take the same route out to it.
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: I took the long way round, Junior.
- 1:08:01Speaker 10: And you know what else, I gotta give this to
- 1:08:03Speaker 10: so fast you process that that's coming so fast.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: You did that instant because Junr is in me. I
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: was born with this gift, baby, just like you was
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: born with it, Junior. Yet, like Tommy was born with it,
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: he is in us. We can't help it like this,
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: like watch this right here, like Shirley, say anything, call
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: and say anything to me. Watch this here, watch this,
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: watch You're gonna let you in your Stuart sports, Junior
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: don't know nothing about no damn sports. See how they
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: laugh to that right there?
- 1:08:36Speaker 5: Right?
- 1:08:36Speaker 11: That's not true, No, no.
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: No, But what makes every joke true is ninety five
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: said truth. I just told y'all that, And that's why
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: y'all laughed.
- 1:08:47Speaker 11: I laughed because you have.
- 1:08:48Speaker 9: To watch this.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: Say something else, say something else, say say anything else,
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: say it, watch it, say.
- 1:08:54Speaker 8: It, say say anything.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: What's gonna do for the weekend?
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: What you're gonna do for the weekend? Live in other
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: week And it's Friday, and I just got paid. I'm
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: gonna take my money and give it to my wife
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: like I do every damn week and truth, go ahead, Judie,
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: what you're gonna do?
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: All gonna say?
- 1:09:18Speaker 7: Man?
- 1:09:18Speaker 10: A Robert Solid head coach of the Jets. Five out
- 1:09:21Speaker 10: of there, gone already five games in. They let him
- 1:09:25Speaker 10: go already?
- 1:09:25Speaker 8: Man, what's the Jets record?
- 1:09:28Speaker 5: Oh?
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: They wanted?
- 1:09:29Speaker 8: They wanted?
- 1:09:29Speaker 13: What folk?
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I took a beat down down?
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: And hey, what is the Browns record? Junior?
- 1:09:35Speaker 8: Oh man, y'all y'all wanted, y'all want?
- 1:09:38Speaker 9: You want?
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: Where we're gonna.
- 1:09:40Speaker 7: Find it is that that head coach from the Jets
- 1:09:43Speaker 7: out Willie Turner's.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: Well, hey, he gonna get his score to that. But
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: it ain't the same will it Turner.
- 1:09:51Speaker 11: That's Robert Swer Okay, he ain't go out like Willie. Yeah,
- 1:10:00Speaker 11: all right, Junior, thank you coming up at the top
- 1:10:03Speaker 11: of the hour, A wife needs some advice, Steve. She
- 1:10:05Speaker 11: got a call on the bluetooth and it's threatening her marriage.
- 1:10:08Speaker 11: We'll get into that find out what that's all about.
- 1:10:11Speaker 11: Right after that. You're listening.
- 1:10:14Speaker 9: Morning Show.
- 1:10:17Speaker 11: This is from Cheryl, Steve and Dan Berry. Cheryl says,
- 1:10:20Speaker 11: as a female firefighter, I have my own room at
- 1:10:24Speaker 11: the station. I was taking my son to a doctor's
- 1:10:27Speaker 11: appointment with my husband. My phone was on the bluetooth,
- 1:10:32Speaker 11: so when it rang, I answered it. It was a
- 1:10:34Speaker 11: male colleague. He said he left his pillow in my
- 1:10:37Speaker 11: room and needed the cod to the door. My husband
- 1:10:40Speaker 11: assumed we were sleeping together when I'm at work. I
- 1:10:44Speaker 11: tried to explain that the guy slept in my room
- 1:10:46Speaker 11: because I wasn't there, and he has never slept in
- 1:10:49Speaker 11: my room with me. Is there a way for me
- 1:10:51Speaker 11: to get through to him and clear up this big mess?
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: Wait a minute, Wow? Left it in what room?
- 1:10:58Speaker 11: In her room at the fire station. She's a firefighter
- 1:11:02Speaker 11: and she has her own room down there.
- 1:11:04Speaker 7: Well, you know, don't They have certain days on and
- 1:11:06Speaker 7: certain days off that they have to be there and
- 1:11:08Speaker 7: then they get been there off.
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: Obvious by my reaction You're gonna have a hard time
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: getting your answer out of this one, because right now
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: I'm trying to figure out why he in there with
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: your damn room and getting your pill out your room?
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: What does he sleep and what his room at? But
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: she was every firefighter got their own bed.
- 1:11:24Speaker 11: She wasn't there though, she said, I.
- 1:11:26Speaker 8: Don't give it, damn what. But if it's her room,
- 1:11:31Speaker 8: what are he in there for? That's a good question.
- 1:11:34Speaker 11: Well, he was in there, and he left his pillow
- 1:11:38Speaker 11: in there, and her husband heard it when he called
- 1:11:42Speaker 11: it for her to get the coat to her to
- 1:11:44Speaker 11: get the cold so he could go in and get
- 1:11:46Speaker 11: his kill up.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: So you're reacting just like the husband.
- 1:11:49Speaker 8: Hell yeah, yeah, yeah, that's yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: The alarm is own.
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: It's from the fire now at your house. See, this
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: is what you call putting the fire out in your
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: own house. You didn't answer this on bluetooth, and now
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: he talking about this. Now your husband going whoa, whoa, whoa,
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: because they sound crazy, and all you got to do
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: is reverse the situation.
- 1:12:15Speaker 11: It does sound crazy.
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: That's how I know this is crazy. Let a man
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: pick up his phone and a woman go, hey, I
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: need what's your code to your room because I got
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: to get my pillow out of that.
- 1:12:27Speaker 5: What is this?
- 1:12:29Speaker 8: Wait a minute, what.
- 1:12:30Speaker 5: Is she doing? Who is this? Who is this? He? Wait?
- 1:12:37Speaker 8: Why why she in your room?
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:12:41Speaker 11: Yeah, she claims she wasn't there when he's sleeping there.
- 1:12:45Speaker 8: No, no, no, no, no, why but why your room?
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: Though?
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: Specifically?
- 1:12:51Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: And then she comfort about to call you talking about.
- 1:12:54Speaker 8: Some cold and I ain't got the cold.
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: Well, baby, you don't work there. Oh oh see problem,
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: this is a disaster. I can't help you. I can't
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: help now unless you won't a lie. Now, I can
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: help you out if you want to lie.
- 1:13:09Speaker 11: Well, maybe she could give her a lie, give her
- 1:13:12Speaker 11: a good one. I don't know how she can get
- 1:13:14Speaker 11: out of him.
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: That he don't really that that he's from the Make
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: a Wish Foundation and that yeah, he was just granting
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: the wish and was letting him sleep at the firehouse.
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: That's who that is, Yeah, from Make a Wish Foundation.
- 1:13:32Speaker 11: I don't know if that was gonna fly.
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: Well, he sounded like a grown man, but he really
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: love it.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: Oh he's a child.
- 1:13:41Speaker 11: That's a better lie.
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: And that was his make a wish. He wanted to
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: work at the fire station, so I let him use
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: my room. Yeah that was his father calling.
- 1:13:54Speaker 5: That was bad.
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: Yeah, that was the Make a Wish Foundation, baby dad calling,
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: we can get the baby pill out the rook What
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: that was?
- 1:14:03Speaker 11: Well, how did Make a Wish have your number?
- 1:14:07Speaker 12: Well?
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: Make a Wish got my number because I signed up
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: to be a participant in the Make a Wish Foundation.
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: I want to start a giving back.
- 1:14:14Speaker 11: Oh, you could have told me we could have done
- 1:14:16Speaker 11: that together.
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: Yeah, it was this thing they was doing just with firemen.
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: Don't nobody want to come down to your job. You work.
- 1:14:24Speaker 8: Well, check out counting down at the grocery store, don't.
- 1:14:29Speaker 11: That's where.
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: Cold you and the dairy department down there at the Kroger.
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: Don't nobody want to come in there and learn how
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: to put milk on the shelf. That's why call me.
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: See right now, you want to lie, I got it
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: for you. If you want to tell the truth, You're
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: gonna get a divorce. What you want to do?
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: Yeah, this is a disaster.
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: It is all right.
- 1:14:54Speaker 11: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we will
- 1:14:56Speaker 11: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: Right after this.
- 1:15:00Speaker 9: You're listening Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:15:05Speaker 11: Okay, So the month of October, guys, is cybersecurity awareness
- 1:15:09Speaker 11: months and a great time to be sure you're protecting
- 1:15:12Speaker 11: your personal information online. Updating all of your passwords is
- 1:15:16Speaker 11: a great first step, but it's also important to add
- 1:15:19Speaker 11: an extra line of defense with multi factor authentication. Multi
- 1:15:24Speaker 11: factor authentication requires a text code to log in, making
- 1:15:28Speaker 11: it harder for cyber criminals to gain access to your accounts.
- 1:15:33Speaker 11: Norton three sixty offers multiple layers of protection, and Norton
- 1:15:37Speaker 11: blocks millions of cyber threats daily, continuously working to keep
- 1:15:41Speaker 11: your information safe. Right now, you can get up to
- 1:15:45Speaker 11: fifty eight percent off your first year with Norton three sixty.
- 1:15:50Speaker 11: You can visit Norton dot com to learn more. Again,
- 1:15:53Speaker 11: that's Norton dot com.
- 1:15:55Speaker 5: I like it.
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: Yeah it is, man, that's a good idea. Be called cybersecurity.
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: Big Now they can steal so much stuff from me
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: and they can mess you up. And the cold thing is,
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: once you prove that it's cyber security, it's been a
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: breach that there's.
- 1:16:09Speaker 8: Nothing for you.
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: You still have to pay.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's crazy.
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: So I would look into that, guys, I really would.
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: It's a very helpful program. I've been on a cyber
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: security program for years now.
- 1:16:21Speaker 9: Oh good, that's good.
- 1:16:23Speaker 11: Absolutely, thank you Steve, Thank you for Norton.
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: I can't even get a credit call, like you know,
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: if you go to a store like bad Pro shops
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: and you try to get to get the credit call
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: because you want the free hat at the front. I
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: can't even do that.
- 1:16:37Speaker 11: Okay, all right, well, thank you for coming up next. Uh,
- 1:16:42Speaker 11: we'll do we'll do around it. Would you rather have security?
- 1:16:47Speaker 9: You're listening morning show.
- 1:16:50Speaker 11: It is time now to play around it. Would you
- 1:16:52Speaker 11: rather would you rather fly to Memphis for ribs or
- 1:16:55Speaker 11: would you rather fight a flight of Maryland for crab cake?
- 1:16:58Speaker 8: No, I'd rather fly to for ReBs.
- 1:17:01Speaker 10: Okay, crams cakes can be disappointed and then they give
- 1:17:05Speaker 10: you two two crab cakes and then you done.
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: That's it. Cram cakes Sometimes they not they have too
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: much filler, you know, if the people that make real
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: crab crab.
- 1:17:20Speaker 11: I don't want that filler, right, okay, all right, ribs
- 1:17:25Speaker 11: for you guys?
- 1:17:26Speaker 8: All right?
- 1:17:26Speaker 11: Would you rather raise a newborn baby a newborn baby?
- 1:17:30Speaker 11: Or would you rather be have five small dogs in
- 1:17:33Speaker 11: the house?
- 1:17:35Speaker 8: Be because I let them all out, it's gonna be
- 1:17:41Speaker 8: No dogs by tonight.
- 1:17:43Speaker 11: All right, Junior, you just got a new dog.
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: It's gonna be I'm not doing a newborn.
- 1:17:49Speaker 8: Baby and Junior.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: And Junior is the perfect person to have five dogs,
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: because all he got to do is let him out
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: in the backyard because they out on the prairim open range.
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: Ain't no fence down there. And Junior just told me,
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: ain't nobody in the neighborhood got a fish. I'm not
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: living nowhere where you walk your ass up on me.
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: It's a minute, jok.
- 1:18:15Speaker 11: All right, this is a Halloween candy. Would you rather?
- 1:18:18Speaker 11: Would you rather skittles or candy corn?
- 1:18:21Speaker 8: Candy corn, candy corn or you I'm old school. They
- 1:18:25Speaker 8: didn't even have.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: What christ yummy yum me.
- 1:18:37Speaker 11: It's candy corn, that corn candy.
- 1:18:40Speaker 5: Man.
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: It was a lady on our street. She used to
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: put it was one lady that gave you a bag
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: of a coin candy about that big, looked like a
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: pack of Eminem's. Then it was one lady that threw
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: three pieces of coin candy in your bag. I hated that.
- 1:18:56Speaker 14: Lady, just individuals in her hand, just three pieces each
- 1:19:04Speaker 14: one get three pieces in their bag.
- 1:19:08Speaker 8: N in it you can't find it when it's.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: Time, you can't find So I got hip to her man.
- 1:19:15Speaker 8: I just would hold my hand. I'll let him put
- 1:19:17Speaker 8: it in my hand and I eat mine right there.
- 1:19:19Speaker 8: You know, give me energy so.
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: I can keep trick or treat sweet.
- 1:19:22Speaker 11: Yeah, they're so sweet?
- 1:19:23Speaker 8: All right?
- 1:19:24Speaker 11: Would you rather be best dressed or be the most
- 1:19:27Speaker 11: handsome best dressed?
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: Because you know you know the second one ain't gonna happen.
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: Really clearly, you got to be best dressed because it's
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: no wait, you're gonna walk in the room. Be best looking,
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: because where is all these other lass people go? I'm
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: glad you said that you And I wish Tom was
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: here so he could have said it too, because he
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: just said the same.
- 1:19:56Speaker 8: But he'd probably thought he was the best looking him to.
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: Be a looking as he and to think he cute
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: though they never seen him from the tide. You've seen
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: that sloping ass neckline he got today.
- 1:20:11Speaker 11: Right down to his last version of the day closing
- 1:20:15Speaker 11: remarks coming up right after this.
- 1:20:17Speaker 9: You're listening Morning show?
- 1:20:20Speaker 11: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:20:23Speaker 11: the day on this Wednesday.
- 1:20:26Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, what you got, Shirley, Well, I wanted to ask.
- 1:20:30Speaker 11: You a question, Steve. We're you know, we're in the
- 1:20:33Speaker 11: twenties now as far as the closeness to the November
- 1:20:37Speaker 11: fifth election, and you know, Kamala Harris is out there
- 1:20:41Speaker 11: that our vice president doing her things. She's reaching people,
- 1:20:44Speaker 11: she's touching people, she's doing all of that, and she
- 1:20:47Speaker 11: could conceivably be our next president, the first female president.
- 1:20:51Speaker 11: So I want to ask you, as a man, You've
- 1:20:53Speaker 11: always been a champion for women. As a man, what
- 1:20:56Speaker 11: do what do guys say? What are they saying? Do
- 1:20:58Speaker 11: you really think they want for the first time to
- 1:21:02Speaker 11: let a woman lead our country? Are they ready for
- 1:21:04Speaker 11: that point?
- 1:21:05Speaker 2: We really from what I'm hearing. From what I'm hearing,
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: I'm not hearing any negativity towards that because she's a woman.
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: Now there, I'm certain there are men masking it because
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: there are some men who will not vote for a woman.
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: I don't care who she is, because there are just
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: some chauvinistic men out there that don't think that women
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: should be in charge of anything.
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: They didn't vote for Hillary No, So I know that.
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: Element is out there. I'm more afraid of the other
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: reasons why people are not voting for her. You know,
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: if you're choosing not to vote for her, I'm more
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: concerned about your reason for not because the fact that
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: she's a woman really shouldn't have anything to do with
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: it at this point, because when you look at the
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: choice to face with obviously she's a better choice to
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: be president of the.
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: United States male, you know what?
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: And if you look at really, man, just the two
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: opponents between Harris and Trump, it's just clearly who is
- 1:22:19Speaker 2: the better person, you know, if we're going to vote
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: for an election, who's the better person. Who's the better candidate?
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: Who would you like to best represent what you stand
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: for in this country? Not clearly to me that's her,
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: because I would rather have her talking on behalf of
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: this country than to have him talking. Or have you
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: heard him? Has he said anything that makes you feel proud?
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: See now, I'm just just some basic stuff. If you
- 1:22:57Speaker 2: could just tell me what he said to make you
- 1:22:59Speaker 2: feel proud, If he said anything that has earned your trust,
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: then I'd like to know that. If he has pointed
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: to things that make you feel safe or secure within
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: your own skin, if you, as a black person, feel
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: prideful when he's up there talking, then I'm just asking
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: for some other things to consider if you're steal one
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: of those people who are up in the air, because
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: he's clearly man, if you listen to his rhetoric, if
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: you listen to his mission, it has nothing to do
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: with you. It just don't. And I don't know how
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: else to say it to you.
- 1:23:44Speaker 7: I mean, she said global warming was a hoax. Now
- 1:23:49Speaker 7: we see what's out writing now. Hurricane Milton a category
- 1:23:55Speaker 7: five in October, and he said that it was a hoax.
- 1:24:01Speaker 11: Global Warming in Springfield, eat cats and dogs.
- 1:24:07Speaker 10: I mean, come on, he said, drink some bleached to
- 1:24:11Speaker 10: you can get rid of COVID.
- 1:24:12Speaker 11: Right, he said COVID was a hoax.
- 1:24:16Speaker 7: Yeah, I told people to stop wearing masks. Yeah, but
- 1:24:19Speaker 7: that all these things, you know, we could just take
- 1:24:23Speaker 7: the race part out of it. Just think back of
- 1:24:25Speaker 7: other things that he has said and has done.
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: It's dangerous, it's it's and so what's alarming to me
- 1:24:35Speaker 2: is how the Republican Party has allowed him to hijack
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: that entire party. They are no longer can claim to
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: be the party of morality because he's not, you know,
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: and these evangelicals who are voting for him, and all
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: these right wingers talking about he's he's against abortion. You
- 1:24:53Speaker 2: ain't got one picture Donald Trump going to no church nowhere.
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: He don't know no scriptures. He not gonna answer no
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: question about it because he don't know nothing about that Bible.
- 1:25:03Speaker 11: When he had it, it was upside down in his hand,
- 1:25:06Speaker 11: remember that.
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: And he doesn't know anything because he upside down with it.
- 1:25:11Speaker 5: Yeah, you know.
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: And when he was asked one time, but does he
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: ever tie of being in the storm, he said, I
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: am the storm.
- 1:25:21Speaker 8: Wow, you know, can you imagine being him right now?
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: How his life must be. It is not a happy place.
