- 1:46Speaker 1: turn water water go comy, come on your back. Uh
- 2:03Speaker 1: A good money and everybody you're listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. First of all, I want to
- 2:12Speaker 1: say thank you to everybody who are offers me encouragement
- 2:18Speaker 1: with my moments of inspiration in the moment in the morning. Um,
- 2:23Speaker 1: I want to say this to you A lot of
- 2:25Speaker 1: times I'm I'm saying the things that I need to hear. Oh. Now,
- 2:30Speaker 1: I've heard from a lot of people that they really
- 2:32Speaker 1: appreciate it and it benefits them and has helped them
- 2:35Speaker 1: in so many ways. I thank you for saying that,
- 2:38Speaker 1: But you all helped me too, and I thank you
- 2:41Speaker 1: for that. You know, I don't have to be in
- 2:44Speaker 1: a position. I mean, I'm in this position because of
- 2:48Speaker 1: God's grace and mercy in my life. And you know
- 2:51Speaker 1: I work hard, I do, I'll admit that, but I've
- 2:56Speaker 1: I've learned over the years that you know, you got
- 2:59Speaker 1: to give God something to bless You know a lot
- 3:02Speaker 1: of us want blessings, but we ain't got nothing in
- 3:05Speaker 1: action when moving, you know, to give God nothing to
- 3:10Speaker 1: put his hand on, to touch on your behalf. And
- 3:13Speaker 1: that's what I've tried to do. I've tried to work
- 3:16Speaker 1: hard enough to give God some stuff that he can
- 3:20Speaker 1: put his hands on on my behalf. You know, I
- 3:22Speaker 1: take meetings when I ain't really sure how they're gonna go.
- 3:25Speaker 1: But maybe God are going there and touch somebody on
- 3:28Speaker 1: my behalf. I don't know. But He can't touch nobody
- 3:31Speaker 1: on your behalf at the meeting if you don't take
- 3:33Speaker 1: the meeting, you know, if you don't go and try
- 3:36Speaker 1: and make the sale, if you don't put the call
- 3:38Speaker 1: in to make the sale, God can't touch nobody to
- 3:41Speaker 1: make them buy. You feel me, I mean, you know,
- 3:44Speaker 1: and I ain't trying to make it sound like people
- 3:47Speaker 1: around me or I know ain't doing nothing. I'm just
- 3:50Speaker 1: telling you that the way I've discovered it now that
- 3:52Speaker 1: there could be another way. I have not discovered it yet,
- 3:56Speaker 1: So doing my little moments of inspiration, I can only
- 4:00Speaker 1: from what I know. But I do thank everybody for
- 4:02Speaker 1: the encouragement or from time to time I just want
- 4:05Speaker 1: to say thank you too. But I'm a lot of
- 4:07Speaker 1: times I'm trying to get myself through some things. So
- 4:10Speaker 1: here's a good one today. Okay, you're ready. Everybody and
- 4:14Speaker 1: anybody can pray. See. That's the thing about prayer. Everybody
- 4:19Speaker 1: and anybody can pray. See and and and and let
- 4:24Speaker 1: me say this to what you got to lose by
- 4:26Speaker 1: praying what you you ain't gotta make no spectacle of it.
- 4:30Speaker 1: It don't say you have to go to the center
- 4:32Speaker 1: of the courthouse, get on your knees on the other
- 4:36Speaker 1: side of the metal detective and cry out that ain't
- 4:40Speaker 1: how God work. You ain't got to show out for
- 4:42Speaker 1: God God to do all the showing out you are you.
- 4:45Speaker 1: All you got to do is do you lead a
- 4:48Speaker 1: showing out part to God. He's gonna clown for you, please, No,
- 4:51Speaker 1: he gonna show you off to everybody who needs to
- 4:54Speaker 1: see it, and especially your enemies, so you lead a
- 4:57Speaker 1: showing out part to him. You can pray, I mean,
- 5:00Speaker 1: everybody and anybody can pray. Prayer is for everybody and anybody.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Everybody and anybody. I don't need prayer if you're not
- 5:09Speaker 1: applying it. I'm gonna tell you, man, you're missing out
- 5:12Speaker 1: on something here, because you're missing out on something. First
- 5:15Speaker 1: of all, you don't have to check with nobody to pray.
- 5:19Speaker 1: You ain't got to clear it with nobody to pray.
- 5:23Speaker 1: You don't need permission from anybody to pray. You ain't
- 5:28Speaker 1: even got to tell nobody if you don't want to
- 5:32Speaker 1: that you've been praying about something. Now, like a cat
- 5:35Speaker 1: like me that has seen prayer work over and over
- 5:38Speaker 1: and over, I ain't got no problem saying out loud
- 5:41Speaker 1: that I'm praying about something that I prayed for this
- 5:44Speaker 1: and it came true. That I'm praying to God get
- 5:47Speaker 1: me through something that I don't really have a problem
- 5:49Speaker 1: saying that because it didn't work for me so many
- 5:53Speaker 1: times and it has never ever failed me yet. Prayer
- 5:58Speaker 1: has never not worked for me. Now, you gotta understand something.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Sometimes the answer to your prayer is no. But see
- 6:06Speaker 1: I got that too, though. See I understand that part
- 6:11Speaker 1: of it, that sometimes the answer to the prayer is no,
- 6:15Speaker 1: I got that, you know. Come on, Steve, Sometimes the
- 6:20Speaker 1: answer is no, and I've learned to accept that. But
- 6:22Speaker 1: at least now that I know that the answer is no,
- 6:25Speaker 1: I move on to the next step, or move on
- 6:27Speaker 1: to the way he got for me. See, sometimes I
- 6:30Speaker 1: pray for stuff I won't and then sometimes the answer
- 6:33Speaker 1: to what I want is know. Then I said, okay, well, God,
- 6:36Speaker 1: what you got from me, what he got from me
- 6:38Speaker 1: way better than the thing I was about to pray
- 6:40Speaker 1: for or the thing I was praying for. And I
- 6:42Speaker 1: gotta know too. But you gotta do it a little
- 6:44Speaker 1: bit to understand that part. But let's just talk about
- 6:46Speaker 1: the basic benefits of prayer, because he prayers. Ben official,
- 6:51Speaker 1: y'all listen to me. Now you're listening to a cat.
- 6:54Speaker 1: I'm telling you what I know. I ain't guessing about
- 6:57Speaker 1: this one. Here, this is what I know. Prayer is
- 7:00Speaker 1: for everybody, and anybody can pray. But here are the
- 7:05Speaker 1: benefits for me in my life that prayer has helped me.
- 7:09Speaker 1: And this is not in the order of significance or importance.
- 7:12Speaker 1: These are just some of the elements that occur what
- 7:15Speaker 1: I pray. First of all, purpose, I find purpose in prayer,
- 7:21Speaker 1: you know, like if I'm trying to figure out the
- 7:24Speaker 1: mission and the how come, the what for? The why
- 7:28Speaker 1: I did it, the how to? That that's purpose. I
- 7:32Speaker 1: get purpose when I pray. I ask God, what's the purpose?
- 7:35Speaker 1: What am I doing it for? What? What? What does
- 7:38Speaker 1: it matter? He gives me that in prayer. Sometimes I
- 7:41Speaker 1: get direction. Direction is a beautiful thing. I get, Okay,
- 7:45Speaker 1: which way? Which way? Lord? I'm I'm tossed up. I
- 7:49Speaker 1: got a decision to make and I ain't really show
- 7:52Speaker 1: what to do. What should I do? Show me which
- 7:54Speaker 1: way to go? Direction? How many times have you needed
- 7:57Speaker 1: some direction? Well that's what prayer us. Let's talk about
- 8:01Speaker 1: him again. Now, purpose direction, here's another good thing. It
- 8:05Speaker 1: provides clarity, Lord, a mercy man. How many times has
- 8:09Speaker 1: he cleared it from me, showed it to me, Remove
- 8:12Speaker 1: some people out the way, put some people over here,
- 8:15Speaker 1: exposed something to me that I really needed to know. See.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Prayer work on so many levels. Purpose direction, clarity, now,
- 8:24Speaker 1: oh I see now, oh oh. Sometimes it's exposing an enemy,
- 8:31Speaker 1: showing you or somebody who's betraying you sometimes be showing
- 8:35Speaker 1: you somebody's just hanging on for all the wrong week.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Just clarity, man, I thank him for clarity through prayer.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Here's another one. Calmness. It just calms me down, man,
- 8:48Speaker 1: It just makes me. It just makes me feel easier
- 8:52Speaker 1: to know that I ain't out here dealing with it
- 8:54Speaker 1: by myself, that I got a power that iuven't tapped
- 8:57Speaker 1: in that's greater than all powers. That the most, the
- 9:01Speaker 1: most electrifying, stimulating, sensational power available to mankind is your
- 9:07Speaker 1: connection with your creator, with God. There's nothing greater for you, man,
- 9:12Speaker 1: that nothing. I don't care what you nobody tell you.
- 9:15Speaker 1: There's nothing greater you can do for yourself. Then get
- 9:17Speaker 1: in touch with who made you and find out what
- 9:20Speaker 1: your purpose is, get yourself some direction about who you are,
- 9:23Speaker 1: get yourself some clarity about what you ought to be doing,
- 9:26Speaker 1: and then calm down, man, so everything don't upset you.
- 9:30Speaker 1: You know, sometimes many people want to man, I don't
- 9:32Speaker 1: know how you deal with all that because I didn't prayed, man,
- 9:35Speaker 1: and I didn't got me some calmness working in my
- 9:37Speaker 1: life to where all these waters that's raging around me,
- 9:40Speaker 1: and these storms and everything. It ain't tossing my boat
- 9:43Speaker 1: upside down, or I'll be up in it sometimes, but
- 9:46Speaker 1: I'm not turning over and drowning and all this. Hell.
- 9:49Speaker 1: I got a calmness, man, knowing that God is working
- 9:52Speaker 1: on my behalf, that he's getting it done for me.
- 9:56Speaker 1: And no matter how wrong it looked for me, right now,
- 9:59Speaker 1: I know, God got me calmness. It's really cool to
- 10:03Speaker 1: have calmness. Man. Here's something else and guilds to me
- 10:06Speaker 1: to understanding and wisdom. It just makes me go, okay,
- 10:10Speaker 1: I got that. I see Oh you know what man,
- 10:13Speaker 1: I was tripping on that. Okay, I see you know
- 10:16Speaker 1: what that's going down because it is and because that happened.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Now look at what that. Oh, I see how that's working.
- 10:22Speaker 1: That's wisdom, that's understanding. And then just one more thing
- 10:26Speaker 1: before we get out of here. Just make me feel
- 10:29Speaker 1: hopeful sometime a matter of fact, all the time, it
- 10:32Speaker 1: just always got me, got me, got got me feeled
- 10:35Speaker 1: with hope that I know something big about to pop off,
- 10:38Speaker 1: that's something else about to go down. He just give
- 10:41Speaker 1: me hope. Man. That's what prayer does. They do all
- 10:43Speaker 1: them things. So if you ain't praying, I check into
- 10:46Speaker 1: it today. Really is such a powerful and beneficial thing
- 10:49Speaker 1: to all of us. Anybody and everybody could pray. Just
- 10:52Speaker 1: talk to him, just like just like you're talking to anybody.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Or watch, watch, watch how you feel you're listening? Ladies, ladies, ladies, ladies, ladies. Yeah,
- 11:07Speaker 1: welcome to the morning show. I'm your man and Sweet
- 11:14Speaker 1: Daddy Willow on the radio this morning. Just trying to
- 11:18Speaker 1: get at all y'all one at a time. Anybody want
- 11:22Speaker 1: to call me? My personal sale is eight four two
- 11:25Speaker 1: fourteen fourteen, won't it? That's eight two fourteen fourteen, Who
- 11:33Speaker 1: won't it? Sweet Daddy will on the radio, Good morning everybody,
- 11:38Speaker 1: how y'all doing today? I don't like that opening. I
- 11:41Speaker 1: didn't care for what. I didn't an't have nothing with it.
- 11:46Speaker 1: I just wasn't read it, that's all. When he said
- 11:49Speaker 1: we're up, I just went, I ain't got that right now,
- 11:52Speaker 1: so I had to go get it. It's here, Shirley.
- 11:55Speaker 1: How are you doing? Hi? Good morning, Steve, I'm good.

- 12:13Speaker 1: Mr Harvey. I'm would just go on say what you
- 12:19Speaker 1: want to see? Good today. But I'm toe up a
- 12:21Speaker 1: little bit. I know why we got you. We got
- 12:27Speaker 1: you though. I love it up. Go out, man, what's wrong?
- 12:33Speaker 1: I tell exactly what's wrong. Our leader, our leader. I
- 12:39Speaker 1: don't care for nothing. That's the problem. Oh my gosh.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Over and I tell you some careers with crushed yester yesterday.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, were you guys yesterday? We did more
- 12:55Speaker 1: polo yesterday in New York. Okay, the sad part, Shirley Carlin,
- 13:02Speaker 1: he don't care how old? Yah? What ya not? Only kids? Kids, parents, kids, grandparents?
- 13:13Speaker 1: Inter Yeah, yeah he did. But you know what, though,
- 13:18Speaker 1: I must say it deserved it. It was the most
- 13:21Speaker 1: thing I had ever seen in my life. But nobody
- 13:25Speaker 1: got it. Who didn't deserve it? Not one person. And
- 13:29Speaker 1: somebody tried to check him about checking that situation. You can't.
- 13:35Speaker 1: You can't check him about the situation. And I tell
- 13:37Speaker 1: everybody who got it deserved it. I found out about
- 13:43Speaker 1: Uncle Stevens. When he's walking off, don't say nothing to
- 13:46Speaker 1: him while his back is turned, because he comes right back.
- 13:54Speaker 1: An example, so somebody said something. He was walking away.
- 13:58Speaker 1: He was walking away, he was throwing the situation. One guy.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Cute little girls, very cute. They had a nice dresses.
- 14:07Speaker 1: When we come back, very nice girls, very nice dresses,
- 14:13Speaker 1: very nice parents. But you know we go back, we're
- 14:21Speaker 1: gonna find out. Yeah, yeah, perfect, we're talking about the show.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Time we come back from these two liars. You're listening
- 14:33Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, here we are.
- 14:39Speaker 1: We're still at the Apollo. Ladies and gentlemen. Yeah, we're
- 14:44Speaker 1: still there. We're still there. Yeah, Steven another one of
- 14:48Speaker 1: his hosting gigs. He's back at the Apollo. Tell us
- 14:51Speaker 1: about Steve. Uh, it was it was really well yesterday again.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Are you all in for a real treat when this
- 15:00Speaker 1: it's timeless? It is time less. Uh. The acts were
- 15:05Speaker 1: brilliant and wide gap. It's all right, don't cut it
- 15:17Speaker 1: in now. That were none that all right? I mean
- 15:21Speaker 1: you got to be real good or you guys to
- 15:23Speaker 1: go what was the worst one? So many you can't
- 15:30Speaker 1: determined what the worst one is, Tommy, because you ain't
- 15:33Speaker 1: got peten seconds. That's the teaching lesson yesterday. Okay, what now?
- 15:41Speaker 1: I told this one dude when he got booed off,
- 15:45Speaker 1: I said, listen to me. I've been wahing. It's time
- 15:47Speaker 1: that I started passing out some tips here, y'all listen
- 15:50Speaker 1: to me. I don't care I much time they told
- 15:54Speaker 1: you you had in rehearsing. Many that had two minutes.
- 15:59Speaker 1: That's got ten seconds. I'm just gonna be real, which
- 16:05Speaker 1: don't know what was discussed with you in rehearsal, but
- 16:09Speaker 1: in actuality you got ten seconds. I said, Now the
- 16:14Speaker 1: board that just got booed off, he's been fifteen seconds
- 16:20Speaker 1: doing the same poles. Oh, he had blonde hair, he
- 16:30Speaker 1: was light skin, died his hair blond. Good little guy
- 16:35Speaker 1: in shape, wore all white, had on ballet slippers. Never
- 16:39Speaker 1: got to that part. Never came out on your toes
- 16:46Speaker 1: because we never found out what the ballet shoes was.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Fault had a little slippers on. I said, oh, this boyfriend,
- 16:55Speaker 1: get up on the toe. We've been to see something.
- 16:57Speaker 1: He never got to that part. The apollo audience more
- 17:03Speaker 1: impatient now than they were coming up the aisles, and
- 17:11Speaker 1: they started doing it, admitted to the stage. Yet listen
- 17:15Speaker 1: to me, Harlem has changed. It's a lot more whites
- 17:18Speaker 1: there than ever before. It's a lot more ones, but
- 17:22Speaker 1: it's still enough. Harlan mights and they're not changing. And
- 17:29Speaker 1: so I asked him at the beginning this show to
- 17:31Speaker 1: please help our brothers and sisters who are here, because
- 17:34Speaker 1: over half of them are there for the first time. Overhead,
- 17:39Speaker 1: so I instruct them to enlighten our new brothers on
- 17:45Speaker 1: how we perform. So we practice. I said, if we
- 17:48Speaker 1: like something, y'all show me what you're gonna do. I said, Now,
- 17:52Speaker 1: on the other hand, if a situation occurs showing what
- 17:56Speaker 1: they're gonna do, The demonstration of the booing shot most
- 18:01Speaker 1: of the newcomers because they get up. The demonstration is ugly.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, but man, let me tell you something. They
- 18:16Speaker 1: boo this magician. Amen, Amen, only one magician made it.
- 18:26Speaker 1: People just don't do magic. Well, if you do magice,
- 18:29Speaker 1: you've gotta be good. You. So this dude goes out there.
- 18:36Speaker 1: He got the ballet slippers, all white, good looking guy man,
- 18:42Speaker 1: blond hair, nice hair cut, clean shaving. It's time for
- 18:47Speaker 1: him to start. He walks to the back of the
- 18:49Speaker 1: stage and he starts doing that Vogue remember Madonna's Vogue.
- 18:54Speaker 1: He just started doing like fifteen seconds of Vogue posters
- 18:59Speaker 1: and by time he started to come to the front,
- 19:03Speaker 1: they started it was no we don't know what you're
- 19:07Speaker 1: getting ready to do, but you're taking two no, no,
- 19:16Speaker 1: and he and he was in shock if it was
- 19:19Speaker 1: mind blowing the level and the severity of the said,
- 19:26Speaker 1: the white people are new to it, but they picked
- 19:29Speaker 1: up quickly. They're picking up and once they got it,
- 19:31Speaker 1: they got it. Once they and sisters, the four white
- 19:37Speaker 1: people the front room, this man with these three women,
- 19:40Speaker 1: and when the boy started, they would hold their head
- 19:42Speaker 1: down and you know, put their hand on their chest
- 19:45Speaker 1: and oh my god, oh my god, oh my god.
- 19:49Speaker 1: And it was feeling so sorry for the performer. You
- 19:52Speaker 1: could see him looking at damn near tearing up. Huh.
- 19:56Speaker 1: I went out there. I had a little talk. Did
- 19:59Speaker 1: you stop? Yea now told him, I said, hey, listen
- 20:03Speaker 1: to him. Listen. I notice is new for you. I
- 20:06Speaker 1: notice is a bit shocking and it seems bout barry.
- 20:11Speaker 1: But I told you, I said to beginning, don't come
- 20:14Speaker 1: in here trying to act like you more Christian and
- 20:16Speaker 1: the rest of us, because that ain't what we do. Now.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Y'all gonna have to get with this because it's not
- 20:25Speaker 1: gonna stop because we got company right right board to act.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Later that Andrew Sisters was out there and redid scrubbs.
- 20:36Speaker 1: This white stood up. She was on the front row,
- 20:40Speaker 1: patted the stage and pointed her off. Patted the stage
- 20:48Speaker 1: with her right hand and pointed her offer. You should
- 20:55Speaker 1: leave before they really really do something. Once they picked
- 20:59Speaker 1: it up, they got it. They and I don't know
- 21:05Speaker 1: where to people go who get bulled because you didn't
- 21:07Speaker 1: even see him after the show. I don't know where
- 21:10Speaker 1: to go. I think they put him in a cab. Okay,
- 21:16Speaker 1: that's funny. So when when we get to see these shows,
- 21:21Speaker 1: I can't wait. Oh, just come to Hall this year hopefully. Yeah, probably,
- 21:33Speaker 1: I don't know when. Okay, alright, up next, nephew, Tommy's
- 21:39Speaker 1: run that prank back. We'll do that right after this jam.
- 21:43Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Show alright, coming up
- 21:47Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, we'll tell you how
- 21:50Speaker 1: you can help make a difference in a young man's
- 21:52Speaker 1: life through none other than Steve Harvey's mentoring program. That's
- 21:56Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, So get
- 21:58Speaker 1: ready for that. Steve does this every year. Every year
- 22:01Speaker 1: it gets bigger and bigger. We want to help you.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Plus ms Ann will be here with today's National headlines.
- 22:07Speaker 1: But right now, as promised, it's time for the nephew
- 22:10Speaker 1: to run that prank back. Can your wife help me
- 22:14Speaker 1: with my thesis? Hello? Hello, I'm trying to reach it.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Yeah yeah. Who who is it? Hey? My nay ellis man?
- 22:25Speaker 1: Is is this down? Yeah? Yeah? Yeah, this is me?
- 22:29Speaker 1: What's up? Listen? Um, My mother's Mrs Man. She goes

- 24:23Speaker 1: all that and just video me doing the actual examination
- 24:26Speaker 1: on you. You want the video video tape him giving
- 24:29Speaker 1: me up? Hey, what you're talking about? You want to do?
- 24:35Speaker 1: What again? Do what you see? I'm working on my thesis, man,
- 24:38Speaker 1: and what I'm doing my thesis is gonna be a video.
- 24:40Speaker 1: So I'm gonna actually video myself giving your wife what

- 27:10Speaker 1: going up in there, man in there. I try to
- 27:18Speaker 1: be stupid. It's not much yeas birth every day. You
- 27:27Speaker 1: do it every day, and everybody knew it, them's. It
- 27:33Speaker 1: seems to be news to you every day and someone's
- 27:37Speaker 1: but the rest of us. I just try to be still.
- 27:41Speaker 1: I'm trying to elevate it, bro, I'm trying to take
- 27:44Speaker 1: it to another to put it to the level you
- 27:46Speaker 1: can't give. Bro. Bro, Bro, I don't even I don't
- 27:52Speaker 1: even like algebra, but I know goodn here, well, yours
- 27:56Speaker 1: is a basic number with that little number up in
- 27:59Speaker 1: the Yeah you whatever that he is, didn't even I
- 28:04Speaker 1: didn't even get stupid. Damn. Why don't you just right
- 28:09Speaker 1: to know me down? I hate it, ma'am. Al Right, guys,
- 28:12Speaker 1: we talked about this yesterday. Bill maher Uh, we'll get
- 28:16Speaker 1: to keep his job at HBO UM. Despite the backlash
- 28:20Speaker 1: over his on air use of the N word, uh
- 28:23Speaker 1: TMZ says a comedian is set to do a new
- 28:26Speaker 1: episode of Real Time on Friday, and we'll keep his
- 28:29Speaker 1: job with the network. After uh, like I said, he
- 28:32Speaker 1: used the racial slur he was talking to a Republican
- 28:35Speaker 1: Senator Ben Sassy uh Many called uh for HBO to
- 28:40Speaker 1: fire Bill Maher. Uh He apologized on Saturday, saying, I
- 28:44Speaker 1: regret the word I used in the banter of a
- 28:46Speaker 1: live moment. That's what he said. I don't, I don't.
- 28:50Speaker 1: I don't think you know it wasn't you know, it
- 28:56Speaker 1: wasn't good at the time. But he's not job because
- 28:59Speaker 1: because I don't. But see, I know Bill b I
- 29:03Speaker 1: know Bill. He really is a cool guy. Man, really
- 29:05Speaker 1: is a cool guy. What he said could have offensive,
- 29:08Speaker 1: great joke if a black has said said a funny
- 29:15Speaker 1: knowing Bill mar the way I do, I understood coming
- 29:19Speaker 1: from him. Now, political correctness makes us have to say,
- 29:25Speaker 1: oh my god, he's horrible, But really, don't. He was
- 29:30Speaker 1: talking to a Republican senator about Nebraska who invited him
- 29:35Speaker 1: to work in the field, and he's just a whole
- 29:38Speaker 1: another turn. And I understood that, magnic because you knew
- 29:43Speaker 1: Bill Maher, the dude he is. He actually fights for
- 29:49Speaker 1: a lot of stuff that the average person don't even
- 29:51Speaker 1: care nothing about. So you know, look, I know political correctness,
- 29:56Speaker 1: we're supposed to be offended by that, but I didn't
- 29:58Speaker 1: give any day's a lot of black pretty much. And
- 30:04Speaker 1: unlike Kathy Griffin, who had some problems, um Bill Meyer
- 30:08Speaker 1: hasn't seen any of his tour dates or anything. Cancel
- 30:13Speaker 1: Kathy Griffin. That was a little bit of yeah. And
- 30:20Speaker 1: you know, and see that's what I was saying to
- 30:22Speaker 1: Snoop And when we're speaking in the video about shooting
- 30:26Speaker 1: the present, I was just telling him about what y'all
- 30:28Speaker 1: got to be careful because when you go after these people,
- 30:30Speaker 1: because because what's happening to Kathy Griffin right now, it
- 30:34Speaker 1: could easily turn that thing on the board. Yeah. Mentoring,
- 30:38Speaker 1: and you're listening to the Steve Harvey alright. I'm talking
- 30:43Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Nation right now. Attention, attention. The
- 30:47Speaker 1: Harvey Foundation Mentoring Camp is next week. The mission of
- 30:51Speaker 1: the Stephen Marjorie Harvey Foundation is to provide outreach to
- 30:55Speaker 1: fatherless youth by promoting educational enrichment, one on one mentoring,
- 31:01Speaker 1: and global services initiatives that will cultivate the next generation
- 31:06Speaker 1: of responsible leaders. There you have it in a nutshell,
- 31:09Speaker 1: all right, yeah, folks, and it's it starts uh next
- 31:14Speaker 1: week next week Tuesday, the boys get off the bus.
- 31:17Speaker 1: I promised you if you all helped me last year,
- 31:20Speaker 1: I could do more boys. We've got two hundred fifty
- 31:22Speaker 1: boys this year to camp instead of one hundred. Up
- 31:25Speaker 1: at two hundred and fifty. Now we really are changing
- 31:29Speaker 1: lives at this camp. To camp had to move again.
- 31:34Speaker 1: We move the camp again. It's outside of making Georgia
- 31:38Speaker 1: down at the chick for Late Ranch and so we're
- 31:42Speaker 1: down there and uh, we provide youth with nationwide programming
- 31:46Speaker 1: and the aftercare programmers outstanding too. I'm gonna release online
- 31:51Speaker 1: some videos or some boys that's graduated that thanked me
- 31:55Speaker 1: for being in their life. Are some young cats with kids, man,
- 32:00Speaker 1: I mean, man, I had a fifteen year old boy
- 32:02Speaker 1: had two kids. I mean, you know what I mean.
- 32:05Speaker 1: You know what I mean. You don't even understand manhood yet.
- 32:08Speaker 1: But nobody ever told him how to behave And when
- 32:12Speaker 1: he left the camp, he he said, man, I really
- 32:16Speaker 1: appreciate you all help me because I don't even know
- 32:19Speaker 1: how to be a father. I said, I never had
- 32:22Speaker 1: a dad. He said, now I'm a dad. I don't
- 32:24Speaker 1: even know what to be. So we have a program
- 32:27Speaker 1: where we talked to these kids, you know, about having
- 32:29Speaker 1: kids and things like that. And so this young man,
- 32:32Speaker 1: now this was two years ago, he's working taking care
- 32:37Speaker 1: of his children, you know, simple stuff like that. Every
- 32:39Speaker 1: child is not going to college. Let's just be clear
- 32:42Speaker 1: about this. But my mentoring program is not to send
- 32:46Speaker 1: you to college. My mentoring program is to turn you
- 32:49Speaker 1: into productive men, whatever you choose to do. We got
- 32:52Speaker 1: kids in the home Depot program over at home Deepot.
- 32:56Speaker 1: We got kids in the military, and we do have
- 32:59Speaker 1: a lot of keys. Is it go off to college?
- 33:01Speaker 1: We got kids in all branches of the service, Air Force, Marines, Navy, Army.
- 33:06Speaker 1: I mean, man, we got some really, really good kids
- 33:08Speaker 1: out there. Man, I'm so proud of I got so
- 33:10Speaker 1: many graduation videos I'm talking about. I got I got
- 33:13Speaker 1: kids going from graduating from college. Nick. This is about
- 33:20Speaker 1: nine years now. I got kids. Yeah, man, my little dude,
- 33:26Speaker 1: Nick graduating from more House. We paid for Nick graduated
- 33:33Speaker 1: from more House. Uh. Nick also became a q uh
- 33:42Speaker 1: what did you go? Nick? Early? Nick saw the light
- 33:52Speaker 1: early you know, you know you ain't nothing wrong with news.
- 33:56Speaker 1: You know I got a lot of y'all working for me.
- 34:08Speaker 1: I ain't throwing shots. I just said the boy was acute.
- 34:10Speaker 1: And you're saying something. So you know you can't get
- 34:13Speaker 1: no free within. You can't just get free jams with me.

- 35:27Speaker 1: Why do I don't have to go there? My money

- 36:13Speaker 1: Orlando Sheriff Jerry Demming says he commenced to shooting people.
- 36:16Speaker 1: The individual was armed with a handgun and a knife.
- 36:20Speaker 1: There's no indication that he used a knife on any
- 36:23Speaker 1: of the victims, but shot five inns of people and
- 36:27Speaker 1: then turned the gun on himself. And she has been
- 36:30Speaker 1: identified as John Robert Newman, a forty five yeard Army
- 36:32Speaker 1: veteran who lived alone. Monday, by the way, marks one
- 36:35Speaker 1: year since the worst mass shooting in US history took place,
- 36:38Speaker 1: also in Orlando. That was at the gay night club
- 36:40Speaker 1: where forty nine people were killed. This is day two
- 36:43Speaker 1: of the sexual assault trial Bill Cosby. The trial involves
- 36:46Speaker 1: a former Temple University basketball department employee, twenty four year
- 36:49Speaker 1: old Andrea Constant, who told her side of the story
- 36:52Speaker 1: to court yesterday after opening statements were made a luk
- 36:55Speaker 1: walking along with Cosby was his youngest TV daughter, Kesha
- 36:59Speaker 1: Night Pollium, wildly smiling and holding onto him very very tightly.
- 37:02Speaker 1: More than forty women have accused the actor comedian of assault,
- 37:05Speaker 1: and get with the program, guys, forget the male ropper

- 48:02Speaker 1: Listen to me, Alex, Listen to me, sweetie. It is
- 48:06Speaker 1: the boy scout mantra. It is better to be prepared
- 48:10Speaker 1: to have an opportunity and not have one, than to
- 48:13Speaker 1: have the opportunity and not be prepared. Now you got
- 48:17Speaker 1: us on the show. We're in New York and we

- 50:01Speaker 1: Now listen when you um you were doing a lot
- 50:03Speaker 1: of lap dances at night? You remember that? Yes? So

- 50:13Speaker 1: well now no, it ain't nothing like that. I'm saying.
- 50:16Speaker 1: You know, you're just a lot of lap dances? Do
- 50:18Speaker 1: you remember that? Yes? Okay, we'll listen. You know that
- 50:22Speaker 1: night I was at the party, you did some lap
- 50:25Speaker 1: dances for me. But what I wanted to tell you
- 50:29Speaker 1: was that the lap dances you had did was the
- 50:33Speaker 1: lap dances was ten dollars? Am I right? Right, you
- 50:36Speaker 1: will be correct. Yes, okay, ten dollar. But I accidentally
- 50:41Speaker 1: I thought I gave you a ten dollar bill when
- 50:44Speaker 1: I really gave you a hundred dollars. Okay, you know
- 50:48Speaker 1: I need Actually what the reason why I called you was.
- 50:52Speaker 1: I'm trying to I'm trying to get that you know,
- 50:55Speaker 1: I'm trying to get that ninety dollars back. Wait a minute,
- 50:59Speaker 1: let me ask you something. First of all, how did
- 51:01Speaker 1: you get my number? Well, the dude that um who
- 51:05Speaker 1: was due, who's doing that through the back, you know,
- 51:07Speaker 1: the guy that hooked y'all up as far us doing
- 51:09Speaker 1: the bachelor Billy Billy, the ones that got y'all to
- 51:12Speaker 1: come and do the Bachelor party. What I'm trying to,
- 51:15Speaker 1: you know, tell you is is that I got the
- 51:18Speaker 1: number from him, Okay, okay, and he told me that
- 51:22Speaker 1: I could call you and try to just talk to
- 51:24Speaker 1: you about it. Okay, And you want me I had
- 51:32Speaker 1: tipped you. I was, I was really going to pay
- 51:34Speaker 1: you ten dollars, but it was a hundred dollar bill.
- 51:37Speaker 1: So the reason what I'm saying to you is that
- 51:40Speaker 1: I want to get the other nineties dollars back. I'm
- 51:45Speaker 1: not giving you know, nown Nty dollars. I'm not giving
- 51:48Speaker 1: you your damn naty dollars on waiting, don't. I don't
- 51:55Speaker 1: even think you understand. I wasn't trying to give you
- 51:59Speaker 1: all that money you one time. I need to get
- 52:02Speaker 1: the money back from you. I think you understand. Dollars
- 52:06Speaker 1: that's it, the other money that I was blown to beat.
- 52:09Speaker 1: I ain't get my change back from you. I give
- 52:12Speaker 1: you change back, not the dollars. A damn kill. I'm
- 52:16Speaker 1: not giving me back. No nobody be giving you no
- 52:19Speaker 1: damn under dollars at one time. What's wrong with you?

- 52:32Speaker 1: to give I was trying to give you ten dollars,
- 52:35Speaker 1: That's what I was trying to give you. I'm not
- 52:37Speaker 1: giving you back. You're not get nothing. You should be
- 52:40Speaker 1: I don't want your wife and your kids. Hey lady, listen,
- 52:44Speaker 1: you don't even understand what what's going on right here.
- 52:47Speaker 1: Let you should have been as I wasn't trying to
- 52:50Speaker 1: one of money trying to give you no money. There's
- 52:52Speaker 1: a misunderstand it. I mean dollars. But now look, I'm
- 52:57Speaker 1: already staying I was giving ten, but not get I
- 53:00Speaker 1: belonged to me. I'm not getting you. You're calling me
- 53:05Speaker 1: waking me up. You're not as I'm not giving it.
- 53:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna give you a tip, but I ain't getting you, know,
- 53:14Speaker 1: ninety dollars you did you got, ain't lady. Look, I'm

- 53:31Speaker 1: I'm not giving you, know down million dollars back burnt
- 53:33Speaker 1: the trip you should know the first place. Like I said,
- 53:38Speaker 1: keep how that time on the rail. I ain't trying
- 53:42Speaker 1: to go back and forth with you I was. I'm saying,
- 53:45Speaker 1: is it's been a mistake. I wasn't trying to give
- 53:47Speaker 1: you no hundred dollars, all right, that was a mistake.
- 53:52Speaker 1: I just want my money back, and nobody tripping with
- 53:54Speaker 1: you getting my money back. I'm not giving your death

- 55:35Speaker 1: me from the Steve and Martin Show. You just gotta
- 55:39Speaker 1: prayed by your girl friend? Who? Hello, Hello, hello from me?
- 55:59Speaker 1: That makes you just you're listening, Steve. All right, let's
- 56:06Speaker 1: get to it. Buckle up, hold on tight, We got
- 56:08Speaker 1: it for you, straw subject. This dude is always I
- 56:14Speaker 1: know what that. This dude is always at my house.
- 56:20Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. My wife and I have been married
- 56:23Speaker 1: for five years. I'm in the National Guard and I
- 56:26Speaker 1: got deployed earlier this year. Anyway, my wife has a
- 56:30Speaker 1: male friend that she went on a blind date with
- 56:32Speaker 1: before we met. She had told me that nothing happened
- 56:36Speaker 1: and that they didn't feel a spark at all. She
- 56:38Speaker 1: is still friends with him. Before I left for my deployment,
- 56:42Speaker 1: he asked me if it bothered me if he spends
- 56:45Speaker 1: time with my wife and my children while I'm gone.
- 56:48Speaker 1: I told him no. When I first left, I hardly
- 56:51Speaker 1: called my wife. Recently, I started calling more and she
- 56:55Speaker 1: gets upset when I call. Her friend is constantly over
- 56:59Speaker 1: at the house again, and when he is there, she
- 57:03Speaker 1: won't talk to me. So I started talking to an
- 57:06Speaker 1: ex girlfriend, and things happen that shouldn't have, and my
- 57:09Speaker 1: wife found out. It's lonely being deployed, so I wanted
- 57:14Speaker 1: to talk to someone. My wife has never forgiven me
- 57:18Speaker 1: for what I did. Now, my wife's friend goes out
- 57:21Speaker 1: with her and the kids all the time. He is
- 57:23Speaker 1: staying overnight at my house, and if he isn't staying
- 57:26Speaker 1: all night, he doesn't leave until two or three am.
- 57:30Speaker 1: I have told my wife that I don't like this
- 57:32Speaker 1: at all. I have told her that he wants more
- 57:35Speaker 1: than just a friendship. It's not my wife that I
- 57:38Speaker 1: don't trust, it's him. I am wrong for thinking. Am
- 57:41Speaker 1: I wrong for thinking something is going on? Would? I'd
- 57:44Speaker 1: be wrong if I call him and tell him that
- 57:46Speaker 1: he needs to respect the man of the house. Please
- 57:49Speaker 1: help all right, First of all, thank you for your
- 57:51Speaker 1: service in the National Guard. We appreciate that. But listen,
- 58:00Speaker 1: thank you, but I'm saying thank you to him. Listen,
- 58:05Speaker 1: You've got to take responsibility for your role in all
- 58:08Speaker 1: of this. You really do. He asked you, this other
- 58:10Speaker 1: man asked you if you'd be bothered by him spending
- 58:13Speaker 1: time with your wife while you were gone. And what
- 58:16Speaker 1: did you say? You said? No? Okay, so right there,
- 58:21Speaker 1: you gave him permission, right then and there, you gave
- 58:23Speaker 1: him permission to come on in. And not only that,
- 58:26Speaker 1: you hardly called your wife or your children while you
- 58:29Speaker 1: were deployed. Um, you allowed this guy to come into
- 58:33Speaker 1: your home, be the man in your own house. And
- 58:36Speaker 1: you're right, Yes, he does want more than just a
- 58:39Speaker 1: friendship with your wife. And unfortunately your wife does too.
- 58:43Speaker 1: She wants more because she's replaced you with him. He
- 58:47Speaker 1: spends the night at your house, Okay, you think they're
- 58:50Speaker 1: being friends. Then he goes out with your with her
- 58:52Speaker 1: the kids. I'm sure they look like the perfect little,
- 58:55Speaker 1: happy family. Uh. And then when you do call now,
- 58:59Speaker 1: she won't talk to you. Is it that she won't
- 59:01Speaker 1: talk to you because you had this affair with this
- 59:03Speaker 1: other woman or you were calling someone you know, or
- 59:06Speaker 1: is it that this man is here taking your place? Uh? Yeah,
- 59:09Speaker 1: you want to know. Should you call the man and
- 59:12Speaker 1: tell him that he needs to respect the man of
- 59:14Speaker 1: the house. It's kind of too late for that. It's
- 59:16Speaker 1: kind of too late for that, because he's walking all
- 59:18Speaker 1: over you and everything you own and have. It's too
- 59:21Speaker 1: late to call it. Sounds like your marriage is over,
- 59:24Speaker 1: Sir Steve, hail up this ignorant. The dude is always
- 59:39Speaker 1: at my house. First of all, I can't even type
- 59:41Speaker 1: this letter. My fingers is not pressing keys in the
- 59:48Speaker 1: order that says this dude is always at no No.
- 59:55Speaker 1: He might be as somebody how even at c N.
- 59:59Speaker 1: Why h O U s E negates this whole damn letter.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: My house. She once we're talking about my damn house.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: The rest of this letter is irrelevant. My wife and
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: I have been married for five years. You're the nashal
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: I got deployed. Y'alla, y'all, y'ada. You know, Sherley, thank
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: you for yourself whatever. Dog anyway, My wife has a
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: male friend right there, male friend, female friend out and
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: told y'all on this show how many times about the friends.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: Let your wife be your best friend, and and and
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: and you be your wife's best friend. Two handed circle
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: in the match, nobody else in the circle. If you
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: let anybody else in the circle other than the married
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: people is gonna be problems. Thus the damn letter. This
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: dude is always at my house. Now this amagined that
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: they went on a blind date. Did nothing happen that
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: were no sparks at all. It's on fire now. Before
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: I left for my deployment, he asked me if it
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: bothered me if he spends time with my wife and
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: my children while I'm gone. I told him no. See,
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: first of all, I don't know the man that can
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: come to me, that can even swallow his spit and
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: say to me, Oh, Steve, would you mind if I
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: spent some while you was on the trip, while he
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: was TA or one of the mothers you got. Did
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: you mind if I spend some time with your wife
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: and your kids? The foot man man, the man boy.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: When I first left, I hardly called my wife. Recently
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: I started calling MO, and she get upset when I called.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: What she won't okay? Now she upset? What you won't
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: for you? My wife? You know, act like it okay sometime,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: he answered. Her friend is constantly over at the house,
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: and when he's there, she won't talk to me. He
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: over there because he asked you what it bother you?
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: And you told the man no. See the first of all,
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: the fact that he even asked you how all are you?
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: You got to be twenties, so you got to be
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: in your twenties. And I don't know what black dude
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: is typing this damn letter. I just don't know how
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: this worked out. So but I'm assuming you are of
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: African American decaid. First of all, you ain't got no
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: daddy in your life because he ain't taught you how
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: to handle your house. And this little thing y'all got
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: calling Mary this thing shot. Now her friend is constantly
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: over at the house. Again, when he's there, she won't talk.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: So I saw her talking to edge girlfriend. Thanks having
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: this sho have my wife found out is lonely being?
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: How did she find out you're way over there? How
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: did she find out? You know everything in this letters
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: start to be stupid? Not a stupid you stupid? She
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: found out? Now he was really stupid. My wife has
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: never forgiven me for this. It's a man in my
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: house and you stoldn't been telling me about She didn't
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: forgive you for that, right right right right now? My
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: wife freend go out with her and the kids all
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: the time. He's staying overnight at my house. What get
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: back to this damn left? Yeah, spent the night. You're listening, Steve.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: All right, Steve, here we go. Let's recap the Today's
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: Strawberry letter subject always at my house that a dude
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: in the military went on deployment. She got an ex
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: boyfriend that they went on a blind date, but nothing happened.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: Before I left for deployment, he asked me if it
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: bothered me if he spends time with my wife and
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: my children while I'm gone. I told him, no, you stupid.

- 1:05:07Speaker 1: your damn self. My wife has never forgiven me for that,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: and you thought she would. You're stupid. Now my wife
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: friend goes out with her and the kids all the time.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: He's staying overnight at my house. And if he ain't
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: staying all night, he don't leave to two and three.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: Stop calling him hard damn friend. Uh huh, I got buddies, Jane.
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: Wee friends were friends. I've been over your house to

- 1:06:05Speaker 1: old and I have told her that he wants more
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: than just a fresh boy. You're so stupid. He already
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: getting molding friendship. See you the other man in the relationship.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: You're the other man. It's you're the other guy. He

- 1:06:35Speaker 1: And when he ain't spending the night, he had to
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: two or three in the morning, the kids go to sleep.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: He tied on your wife all this time. He only

- 1:08:50Speaker 1: at the house banking my wife. I'm coming to the
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: house thanking me. Any spanking going on in my house,
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: I'm the one doing it. Would I be wrong? Here?
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: He gonna did boy dumb? Did yo? He did? He
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: get dumber as the letter goal? Would I be wrong
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: if I call him and tell him he needs to
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: respect the man of damn show. Don't respect your wife
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: because he's bringing he might as well start respecting you
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: because he just thrashing. He's doing like he wants to,
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: but you want him to respect. What's she doing in here?
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: She got her elbows on the dress looking in the
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: mirror and then looking back over her showing at the
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: spak He putting that being reins on it. And then

- 1:10:59Speaker 1: Don't go break over there being violent. They don't need
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: it at man, Just go and break off because you
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: said the man can stay there with your stupid Yeah.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: I don't see how me what the national goal coming up? Steve,
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: you're from Cleveland. People from Cleveland are testy. Will tell
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: you about it. You're listening to the Steve Show, all right.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: The Golden State Warriors took a to nothing lead yeah
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: in the NBA Finals. They had a one thirty two
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: to win over the Cleveland Calves in Game two. After
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: the game, Lebron was not in the mood for silly questions.
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: He just was not having it while taking questions. Lebron
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: remained amicable after the loss. Say for one response to
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: a reporter that asked, Lebron, do you just feel this
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: is a case where you just have to defend home
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: court at this point? Take a listen to Lebron's response. Please,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: they're a different team. They're a different team. Uh you know, um,
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: you know. You guys asked me what was the difference,
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: and I told you, so they're different teams where you
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: got to chose a different home court? A Uh well,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: I mean, are you a smart guy? Think thinks all right?
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: So we don't defend home court? What happens I'm asking you? Yeah,
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: you guys are looking at all right, so they answer
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: your question? No, I'm good, I'm good. Yeah, you're a
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: little test. Can I can I say something about sports?
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: Because I know a very little, very little about it.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: It's just to me, as a person who don't like
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: to lose, you should not have to answer a damn
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: thing once you lose the game. Nothing. You should have
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: to talk to nobody, none of these stupid ask questions
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: about home I don't know much I got into sports,
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: but that right there, it's stupid. What do you feel
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: what happened? I'll tell you what happened. They had more
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: points than we did. Take that away. That's where it
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: should be. Nobody ever asked, you know, And it's kind
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: of messed up when you get these guys up there,
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: and that's the rules of the league. You have to
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: attend the press conference for the press and the promotion
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: of the games. They have to go. Didn't they see
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: the game? Do you have to defend home court? I mean,
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: you can't lose your two home games. That's the series.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: They have to win the two at home. And what
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: happened last year was they lost one at home and
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: they went back out the Golden State down three to one.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: Then they won. Uh you know, I don't know how
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: many three straights, five, six, seven years in teams from
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: last year that's all went back out there and won one.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: And it came back and one, and they went back
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: out there and one and it's a different team. They
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: all better. Golden State is better. But we're still here.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: Were still here. We is Cleveland, We will the free
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: and the land. They don't take this. It asked with them,
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: Puss J you knowing people guy, Yeah, cleaning people a
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: little tested, right, Yeah, yeah, well now so well, I mean,
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: you know, I'm from Cleveland. Know we're a little testing
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: right now. We ain't no more tested in Houston? Keeping up?
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: I mean, well you know what I mean. You know, yeah,
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: we're tested. Yeah, y'all, y'all don't know the feeling. If
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: you just be quiet, testy recognized testing us. You damn
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: right were tested, but we're testing. Caught we in it.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: You tested and lost. Damn y'all don't want nothing. You
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: ain't want a serious or the m v P. Westbrook
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: took that. Yeah, you wanted something in Houston. Oh, y'all

- 1:15:40Speaker 1: sugar loaf sugar? But how didn't you usually out? I
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: thought he was talking about a player. I'm immediately outlay,
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: so properate money ben't gonna great play left on the
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: Thursday home front. Wow, at this point is a better
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: player in Houston? Remember, please stop saying Papa Ray who
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: told Papa Money was a good place, but listen to
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: y'all had to stop. Y'all feel that way. But the
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: people who went there, he was excellent man. A lot
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: enough people that knew that I packed two weeks of clubs.
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: I had to stop all this. You know, I had
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: a lot of good jokes I wrote in the car,
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: but when I took it out on that damn stage
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: did was no where near funny out there. I was
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: in the car. I damned that broke the wind. She
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: or laughed. I was beating on my standing. We are
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: so bad. I got to the comedy club that night,
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: went over my notes and went on stage with that
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: same joe. I laughed one time for eight exits at
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: the same damn joke, got off exit nine, told it,
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: and gotten back on that edge mind numbering size piece
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: of ki oh man. I'm you know, I want to
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: believe what y'all say, but just based on the numbers.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: But you should have gone see you should have to back.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: He's not gonna supports. I don't go to stuff that
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: I don't know this hit, I support stuff after you see,
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: I'm not to come up. It's stupid, that's what he's saying.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: What are you saying? I supported after the hit after support,
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: that's not a support. Who's money? Don't tell it all? Three? Yeah, y'all,
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: y'all was back home. That's go ahead. Stage play called
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: Who's So Papa raised money? And it's a play about
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: h father that's passed away and they all in the
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: house looking for this money that they did. It didn't left.
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: That's the thing is that they got the length. They
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: got to stay a small house. Play was over. It
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: was a tiny house. It was a tiny house. It
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: was the Father and had a closing play Listen. Dr
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: Ian Smith is coming up next to Our friend is
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: gonna tell us about his brand new book, Blast the
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: Sugar Out. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright,
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: can I do the aady? Do that? All right? Our
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: special guest is New York Times best seller of fourteen
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: books and it's best known for his Shred diet series.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: I did a little shred with him and now it's book.
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: Blast to Sugar Out is attacking sugar and negative effects
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: um negative effects sugar has on our bodies. In the
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: United States, it's estimated a twenty nine point one million
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: people have diabetes diets and in as sounding eighties, six
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: million people are pre diabetic. All right. The book prevents
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: presents a five week plan to blast the sugar out
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: of your diet and the residential diabetic through the end
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: of yours. Since I have it myself, I have the shigar.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: How you doing, doc, Welcome to the show. Dr Ian Smith.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: All right, thank you. So um, I got your book.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: You sent me a book in the mail. I started
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: eating it and this says, blast to sugar out. The
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: problem is sugar isn't everything pretty much everything everywhere. I'm
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: trying to teach you what the book is that manufacturers
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: put so much sugar in places that you don't think yogurt,
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: protein bars, uh, you know, certain types of cereals that
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: look healthy, and so in the book, I show people
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: where these sugars are. I teach people how to get
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: the sugars out and how to make smarter choices and
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: better options. Why why do we have that addiction to
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: sugar and not just sugar but salt also we just
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: gotta have salt and we've gotta have sugar. What is
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: it about those two things? Well, next time I mentioned
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: about the diabetics and pre diabetics, which are staggering numbers,
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: But millions of people are addicted to sugar because what
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: sugar does is sugar causes your brain to feel good.
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: It re releases the neural transmitter or a chemical called dopamine.
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: And the dope mean is what makes you feel good.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: So the more sugar you eat, the more dopeman you release,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: the more you want and you have these huge cravings.
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: And my book, instead of stopping you cold turkey, turkey
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: from sugar. By the way, I'm not trying to eliminate sugar,
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: because life without sugar. I'm just reducing amount of bad sugar.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: So in five weeks people lose up to twenty pounds.
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: In five weeks, they dropped their blood sugars and then
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: their cravings. They cut their cravings completely out because at
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: the end of the five weeks they're still eating sugar,
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: but their body doesn't want it as much as it
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: used to. Well, you know I was talking about we
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: worked before and in terms of you know, getting people
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: to lose weight and talk about diabetes, I've always said
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: there's three types of diabetes, type one, type two, and
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: the type three A type three. As a person who
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: lives with A one or two, and you have to
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: really change your whole attitude when you live or take
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: care of diabetic And why is that so hard? Well,
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: well that's why I wrote the book. So this book
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: Blast and sugar. It's regular food. It's nothing expensive. So
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: and the meals there are more than forty five recipes.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: There's snack options, they're swap out, but it's food that
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: everyone can eat. So it's not like sometimes you know,
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: when you have to fix food for yoursel else and
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: then fixed food for the rest of the family, and
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: people tend to do that for a little while, then
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: they get too tired, it becomes too expensive. In my book,
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: all the recipes, all the foods, and you look at
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: the foods. There's grilled cheese, there's burgers, there's lasagna, there's
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: fish's chicken. It's all regular foods. People the whole family
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: can eat the plant We got this great Facebook page.
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: It's called sugar Blasters right. One lady last week posted
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: that she lost ten pounds in a week. There's a
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: truck driver out Indiana he lost fifteen pounds in three weeks.
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: But even more important, people are coming off their type
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: two diabetes medications and people are supporting and sharing recipes.
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: That's the key. By the way, if you can get
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: some good recipes and of support, studies show you lose
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: a lot more weight and keep it off a lot longer.
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: What are some good snacks that don't have a lot
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: of ship in them. That well, you know, the obvious
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: snacks are the vegetables, right, so you know, carrots and
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: cucumbers and hummas. We don't eat enough humas, by the way, hommas.
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: I don't know if you'll like hummas, hummas love homas.
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: I'm I just don't know what. You grind it up.
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: I don't know what. You don't know what. Listen, guys,
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now, I didn't eat hummus for
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: a long time. When I want to snack, you grab
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: some chips or some vegetables and dip the hummus. It's
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: unbelievable protein, the fiber in it just and it fills
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: you up. Right, Charley, you know what. You make it
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: sound delicious, But but when you look at hummus, you
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: don't see that. You don't see that you're spreading mud.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: That can get the book. Ye, get the book everywhere
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: is cheaper on Amazon, but Barnton, on Moves, Walmart. If
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: they have questions, you can email me directly. My email
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: is the name of the book. Blast the Sugar Out

- 1:23:46Speaker 1: Facebook group. It's called sugar blasters, lose up to twenty
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: five weeks and drop your blood sugars. And this is
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: for everybody, not just dive backs to pre diabetics. This
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: book is for anyone who wants to eat better and
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: get the life and their energy levels back to see
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: there some of his wait on for everyone, get down,
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: all right, I'm about you having everybody congratulations? All right,
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: thank you? All right? Oh boy, I'm convinced now, Yeah,
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: what were you convinced about? I think Tiger Woods was
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: on this sugar. I think he was on this sugar.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, sugary? Tell me, I don't know.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: At three in the morning, not a lot of sugar
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: in three in the morning. They have been leaving me
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: a little chip cake. But he wouldn't know. Yeah, I
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: don't know about that. Tiger Woods, I don't know. In
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: case you haven't heard, was arrested. He says that it
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: was actually a reaction to prescribe medications. So that's what
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: he said. We get past it, and wants his fans
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: and family and friends to know alcohol had nothing to
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: do with it. That's what he said. The golf balls, Okay,
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: you get away with a lot a lot. I got
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: a lot of a lot, okay, but new to talking. Yes,
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: you've got a lot of built I ain't man oh man,
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: oh man. He gets through it, you know, but it
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: doesn't look like he's on that sugar. Yeah, those weren't sugar,
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: sugar face. It just wasn't. I think. Yeah, Steve said
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: of the show yesterday, just plainly he needs Jesus. Let's
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: pray for him. Let's pray for Tiger seriously, because I
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: want him to get back on the on the greens
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: and and you know, do what he does best. That's
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: what I wanted for dealing with the brown something sugar
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: eyes that we know that you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: I know, I know I'm gonna get some pushback from
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: my nephew. I just give him thanks. He's to, you know,
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: master cooking on like this. You know, I'm within easy bakelevers.
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: He is good. I'm believing he said he can do it.
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: You can do Maybe it's cooking easy, easy bake vers
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: not an easy baker. Man can really cook, you know. Yeah,
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: you always say that, I know everybody can do. They
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: is so supportive of Tommy because they know he fall
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: apart so easy, so surely and Carla always a very
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: supportive of Tommy, always good not on everything, but everyone else. No, no,
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: you're not surely support because you know he's fragile on
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: the show. What you said, Tommy, Hey, you hate you everybody?
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: You have no reason for me to hate. I keep
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: telling you that. Stop thinking I'm hating on you. You
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: don't have no reason for me to hate right there.
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: I'm just let's stop this. This is ridiculous. Barbecue your
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: food and don't stop that. Another barbecue argument. It is
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: Tommy barbecue me. What he says, he said, He hasn't
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: he said, And both of them have been on the
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: side of the row. Have you ever heard me since
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: you know me say one of my cars broke downside? Well, okay, Stephen,
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: Tommy's defense that the Rose Royce was because he didn't
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: put gas in it. It's not because it like broke
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: down mechanically or anything. Remember, but Steve, Okay, Tommy got
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: issues with ran out of the hee key words right there,
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: Rolls roy He didn't put gas in it. Yeah, he

- 1:28:11Speaker 1: He just shouldn't have one at all shooting about the
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: rolls roy and you you ain't got a man. You're
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: upset about the car. Let's see, I'm not upset about
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: to see right there, right there. See you're trying to
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: twist it, but they always tried. You don't feel to
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: hate when you open your mouth and let run out.
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: You got this big gas rolls Royce, but you got
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: to put gas in it right down. It's full of
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: cooking utensils. That's why I broke down. He didn't couldn't
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: do nothing about them cars. But people have rolls five
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: hundred thousand dollar car supposed to have people to put
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: gas in. Hay, Tim, your car was fine. You did
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: talk when that's a half million dollar? Come you to
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: have people? I don't know why you gotta have a
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: million dot com. See that's something you saying. I'll be
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: trying to teach you. It's levels to this. Stay on
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: your level. What is got money? Time? It got nice
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: money and make good money. Ain't nothing wrong with what

- 1:35:12Speaker 1: hurting bubb everybody famous in l A. Yeah, he's famous
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: in l A. This radio show was a nine other bubbles,
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: very sensitive. We just introduced the rest of them. I
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: just had a white lady on the Apollo that suffered
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: with anxiety text and I'm gonna repeat to you what
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: the dude said from the audience at the Apollo when
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: I were not told him. This woman, y'all k boo
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: because she suffers with inside Steve, go ahead, all with
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: that bull blank this hollo. We all got inside. I'm
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: talking about man from from Man. The puppet. Wow, man,
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: she was her end. The puppet's voice became the same.
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: What's going on? You tell me you want to bought
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: me out of here? All right, let's get serious just
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: for a moment and talk about the mentoring camp. Steve,
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: you're mentoring camp. It's next week, Yeah, next week. I
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: don't have well anyway, Let's let me talk about the
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: mission for a minute while you're doing that. It is
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: to provide outreach to fatherless youth, Okay, to fatherless young men.
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: It promotes education, enrichment, one on one mentoring, global service initiatives,
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: and we're trying to cultivate the next generation of responsible leaders.
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: That's what's happening with the Steed and Marve Harvey Fund,
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: Stephen Marjorie Harvey Foundation, uh and the mentoring camp. And
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: your gifts can help, all right, that's the most important thing.
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: Your gifts can help Steven and Marjory mentor these young
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: men and make them good products of society. Okay. You
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: can do that by texting Steve okay to nine one. Okay,
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: if you want to help, please text Steve to nine
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: one nine. That is for our giving campaign. It impacts youth,
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: creates dreamers and leaders, and it heals families. All right,
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: So you know what it is, folks on the line
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: that when you're getting ready to text on the line
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: that says to you type being nine one being down
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: in the blocks where you're texting, TEXTI and Steve press
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: see it and then the instructions of that. If you
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: can help us, man, and be much appreciated. We are
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: changing boys lives, man. Yeah, two fifty boys at the
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: camp this year. Wow. Not to mention the satellite camps
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: that we do around the country. We try to touch
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: a thousand stuff. It's really really life change, man. I'm
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: gonna post some videos and young boys as graduating young
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: boys that's in the military, and the follow up program
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: is headed up by a German named Frank Hollam, who
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: does an excellent job. A lot of the boys stay
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: in touch with each other. A lot of the boys
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: walk away with soldiers as the mentors. A lot of
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: boys have never had a man tell them they love
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: them before. I can't. We love them up, man, We
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: love them now. Our love comes with a cost. It's
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: not free love. You know. Man's love is very different.
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: You have to perform to get his love. That's how
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: it is. You have to earn it. We can't love
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: you and then you disrespect us and we keep loving you.
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: That's not how it works out there. So we teach
- 1:38:51Speaker 1: young boys that you have to do the things that
- 1:38:53Speaker 1: you have to do. Most of these boys are very
- 1:38:55Speaker 1: uncomfortable when they get there because the mom's been letting
- 1:38:57Speaker 1: them lay around. And you know, once they let day mama,
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: the mama thood don't want to fuss with him. We
- 1:39:03Speaker 1: we have time for that. We like holly back, holly back,
- 1:39:08Speaker 1: We're like fuss and we like refusing to do things.
- 1:39:11Speaker 1: We're like all that again, that's important. A man's love.
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: You have to you have to earn a man's love.
- 1:39:18Speaker 1: A mother's love is different. They love you unconditionally. A
- 1:39:21Speaker 1: man's love is based on how you respect him and
- 1:39:24Speaker 1: return it. Now, we'll give you the love and the hugs,
- 1:39:27Speaker 1: but you gotta do what we asked you to do.
- 1:39:29Speaker 1: If you don't do that animal hooks and love, we
- 1:39:31Speaker 1: just got some more other stuff in and it becomes
- 1:39:35Speaker 1: really a great moment man at the end of the week,
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: when the when the soldiers bond and the and the
- 1:39:40Speaker 1: mentor's bond with these young boys and it changes their lives.
- 1:39:44Speaker 1: Mentoring is never gonna go out of style. It's a
- 1:39:47Speaker 1: necessary part of child reading and development. You're gonna have
- 1:39:51Speaker 1: all the educational programs you want if you're not somewhere
- 1:39:55Speaker 1: sitting with these young men talking to them about the
- 1:39:58Speaker 1: values and how to be a man. I'm telling you
- 1:40:01Speaker 1: that education won't do you any good at all, because
- 1:40:04Speaker 1: if you're not a good person, if you're not a
- 1:40:07Speaker 1: good man, what good is your education? Now? You need
- 1:40:10Speaker 1: an education. It's important. There our missions in life that
- 1:40:14Speaker 1: require education. You want to be a doctor, a lawyer, scientists,
- 1:40:17Speaker 1: a teacher. You gotta get education. But you've got to
- 1:40:21Speaker 1: learn how to be a citizen, a quality individual. Take
- 1:40:26Speaker 1: care of your children, love God, go to church, go
- 1:40:29Speaker 1: to work every day, Respect women, Honor women. That's what man.
- 1:40:32Speaker 1: Who it is. If you're missing knows, I don't care
- 1:40:35Speaker 1: what education your God if you don't, If you don't
- 1:40:37Speaker 1: love God, respect women, take care of your children, you're failing.
- 1:40:40Speaker 1: As a man. You're failing. And it's too many men
- 1:40:44Speaker 1: out here who have father children who refuse to be
- 1:40:48Speaker 1: a daddy. We teach boys how to be daddy's and
- 1:40:55Speaker 1: and the greatest example we give them is their father,
- 1:40:57Speaker 1: the one that's missing in your life. Now, how would
- 1:41:00Speaker 1: you like to pass that on to somebody else. We're
- 1:41:03Speaker 1: working on some things Texas at Send us a message
- 1:41:07Speaker 1: to text Steve. Message to nine one text Steve. You
