Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is Verdict of Center. Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you.
- 0:04Speaker 2: It's amazing technology. This may be the farthest you and
- 0:07Speaker 2: I have ever been away from each other while doing
- 0:09Speaker 2: good podcasts. I'm in Hungary, You're in the United States
- 0:12Speaker 2: of America, and the biggest news of the day is
- 0:14Speaker 2: you've got an official opponent that is running against you,
- 0:18Speaker 2: Which brings me to the obvious question. If there's an
- 0:21Speaker 2: official opponent, it's official that are you running for reelection
- 0:24Speaker 2: in Texas?
- 0:26Speaker 1: Hell?
- 0:26Speaker 3: Yes, I'm running for reelection for Senate in Texas. It's
- 0:30Speaker 3: going to be a real fight. And I got to say,
- 0:32Speaker 3: I think it is great that right after I get
- 0:35Speaker 3: a Democrat opponent, you and I have the opportunity to
- 0:38Speaker 3: do this podcast not just across the country, but across
- 0:42Speaker 3: continents like the Atlantic Ocean. You're on the other side.
- 0:46Speaker 3: That's pretty wild.
- 0:48Speaker 2: It's truly incredible to see how this show reaches. And
- 0:52Speaker 2: what's also really cool about this podcast Center is there
- 0:56Speaker 2: are so many people that get to hear directly from you.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Your new opponent is actually attacking you for doing this.
- 1:03Speaker 3: By the way, what time is it where you? What
- 1:05Speaker 3: time is it where you?
- 1:06Speaker 2: Are been so right now it is like six fifty
- 1:09Speaker 2: in the morning where I am.
- 1:12Speaker 1: You can't make it up.
- 1:13Speaker 3: So we're in different days, like you're living in the fuse.
- 1:16Speaker 1: That's it, I am.
- 1:18Speaker 2: If I only I had some good stocks over here
- 1:20Speaker 2: that I can tell you about.
- 1:23Speaker 1: It's it's yeah, what's going up?
- 1:25Speaker 3: That would be really valuable.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, exactly what's happening?
- 1:29Speaker 2: Is it?
- 1:29Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:29Speaker 2: At Bingo, it's like, well, we're in a different world,
- 1:31Speaker 2: a different day. The weirdest part is flying home on
- 1:34Speaker 2: Saturday will be time traveling backwards in time if you
- 1:38Speaker 2: think about it, because I actually land on the same
- 1:40Speaker 2: day that I left at the same almost the same
- 1:41Speaker 2: time that I left the country I am in right now.
- 1:43Speaker 2: That is the It still messes with me every time.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Well, just sleep on the plane and you'll adjust to
- 1:50Speaker 3: the new time zone.
- 1:52Speaker 1: There you go. I like it.
- 1:53Speaker 2: So let's talk about this reelection and how important this
- 1:56Speaker 2: reelection is. There are a lot of people that are
- 1:59Speaker 2: going to ask the question Center, why are you running
- 2:01Speaker 2: for reelection? And one of the issues that I think
- 2:05Speaker 2: is just blaring in our face right now is the
- 2:07Speaker 2: wide open border and what is about to happen at
- 2:11Speaker 2: our border with Title forty two, and how it's going
- 2:14Speaker 2: to hurt Texas.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Let's talk a little bit about that.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Well, sure, so Title forty two, the authority to deport
- 2:22Speaker 3: healthy adults, is going to expire next week and we
- 2:27Speaker 3: are going to see a massive, massive surge in illegal immigration.
- 2:32Speaker 3: And the thing to understand what has happened under Joe
- 2:36Speaker 3: Biden in the last two and a half years. We
- 2:40Speaker 3: went from Biden came into office and he inherited the
- 2:44Speaker 3: lowest rate of illegal immigration in forty five years. He
- 2:48Speaker 3: inherited success. This problem was solved more than it has
- 2:53Speaker 3: been in decades, in almost fifty years, and within day
- 3:01Speaker 3: Biden created a crisis. He did three decisions in the
- 3:07Speaker 3: first week. He halted instruction of the border wall, he
- 3:11Speaker 3: reinstated catch and release, and he pulled out of the
- 3:15Speaker 3: incredibly successful Remain in Mexico Agreement. The consequence of those
- 3:20Speaker 3: three decisions, he created the worst rate of illegal immigration
- 3:28Speaker 3: in the history of our nation. Initially, for the first year,
- 3:33Speaker 3: it was the worst rate in sixty years. Now today
- 3:38Speaker 3: we have never had illegal immigration recorded at the rates
- 3:42Speaker 3: we have right now. Over six million people have crossed
- 3:46Speaker 3: illegally since Biden has become president. And the amazing thing
- 3:51Speaker 3: is so as we've talked about in this podcast, when
- 3:55Speaker 3: Alejandro Majorcus testified in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee,
- 3:59Speaker 3: he said, you know, I care, I really care. I
- 4:03Speaker 3: care about the migrants dying. I care about the women
- 4:06Speaker 3: being sexually assaulted. I care about the children and being
- 4:09Speaker 3: brutally assaulted. I care about the drug overdoses.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I care.
- 4:14Speaker 3: And you'll recall my answer, which is, no, you don't.
- 4:18Speaker 3: You do not care. And how do we know this
- 4:21Speaker 3: because if you cared, you would behave differently. If you cared,
- 4:28Speaker 3: you would stop making the decisions that are causing people
- 4:34Speaker 3: to die, that are causing people to be brutally assaulted,
- 4:37Speaker 3: that are causing the Mexican drug cartels to make tens
- 4:41Speaker 3: of billions of dollars. But not only does Joe Biden
- 4:45Speaker 3: and Kamala Harris and Alejandro Majorcis and practically every Democrat
- 4:51Speaker 3: in the US Congress, not only do they not care
- 4:53Speaker 3: because they won't change the decisions, they're doubling down to
- 4:57Speaker 3: make it worse. And you need to understand. By ending
- 5:01Speaker 3: Title forty two next week, their objective is to turn
- 5:07Speaker 3: six million illegal immigrants into ten into twelve million into
- 5:12Speaker 3: fifteen million. They want the number to explode. In Majorcus's job,
- 5:18Speaker 3: as he views it, it's not to stop illegal immigration.
- 5:21Speaker 3: He's not trying to stop it. It is to make
- 5:23Speaker 3: it more efficient, is to make it faster. It is
- 5:26Speaker 3: to process them more quickly. In other words, he wants
- 5:30Speaker 3: to be the FedEx of transporting human trafficking subjects to
- 5:37Speaker 3: every place in America. And I got to say that
- 5:41Speaker 3: is twisted, is perverse, and Texas is seeing the very
- 5:45Speaker 3: real consequences, as is every other community in America.
- 5:50Speaker 1: You know, it's interesting being over here in Hungary center.
- 5:52Speaker 2: We are going to be heading to Ukraine tomorrow, and
- 5:55Speaker 2: they had a briefing beforehand.
- 5:56Speaker 1: They were talking about the protocol at the border.
- 5:58Speaker 2: More than a million people have flat Ukraine into Hungary,
- 6:02Speaker 2: but they still have an orderly process.
- 6:04Speaker 1: It's not a wide open border.
- 6:06Speaker 2: And when you see how secure they're keeping things even
- 6:11Speaker 2: with a humanitarian crisis, and you look at what this
- 6:15Speaker 2: administration is in the United States America, it really is
- 6:17Speaker 2: a striking contrast between the two.
- 6:20Speaker 1: The policy that you just mentioned me.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Even the Biden White House this week they claim that
- 6:24Speaker 2: a legal immigration is down by more than ninety percent,
- 6:27Speaker 2: and then immediately they contradict that by saying, well, we
- 6:30Speaker 2: need a bunch of activity of military troops to go
- 6:32Speaker 2: and assist of the border.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Look, it's a flat out lie, and let me underscore something.
- 6:38Speaker 3: So I did a press conference with a number of
- 6:40Speaker 3: senators in DC this week where we talked about Title
- 6:43Speaker 3: forty two expiring, and one of the reporters, in kind
- 6:46Speaker 3: of a smart, snarky tone, said, well, I thought you
- 6:49Speaker 3: guys liked sending troops to the border. Why are you
- 6:51Speaker 3: saying it's not a good thing? And I answered it,
- 6:55Speaker 3: and the answer is worth reflecting on. So Joe Biden
- 6:58Speaker 3: is announced he's sent fifteen hundred troops to the border. Look,
- 7:02Speaker 3: that can be a useful thing if you're actually enforcing
- 7:06Speaker 3: the border and following federal law. Having additional manpower boots
- 7:11Speaker 3: on the ground is a very important part of securing
- 7:13Speaker 3: the border, whether that is more border patrol agents, and
- 7:17Speaker 3: I have repeatedly introduced legislation to triple the number of
- 7:21Speaker 3: border patrol agents, or whether that is having active duty
- 7:25Speaker 3: military on the border, or whether that is having Texas
- 7:28Speaker 3: DPS officers on the border, or whether that is having
- 7:31Speaker 3: National Guard on the border. All of those are good
- 7:34Speaker 3: and positive steps if you're following the law. Now here's
- 7:39Speaker 3: why it makes zero difference under Joe Biden Kamala Harris
- 7:45Speaker 3: because they are implementing catch and release, which means they're
- 7:50Speaker 3: not deporting the people they catch. So the fifteen hundred
- 7:54Speaker 3: soldiers who are down there, who are honorable men and
- 7:58Speaker 3: women who are serving their country, who I'm willing to
- 8:00Speaker 3: bet are pissed that they're being used as political props.
- 8:07Speaker 3: If they're down there, let's say they apprehend someone. The
- 8:11Speaker 3: soldiers don't have the authority to deport anyone. So what
- 8:14Speaker 3: they do if they apprehend someone is they hand them
- 8:16Speaker 3: over to the Biden administration. And what does the Biden
- 8:20Speaker 3: administration do? Lets them go. It actually even worse than
- 8:23Speaker 3: lets them go. Asks where in America you want to go?
- 8:26Speaker 3: You want to go to Philadelphia, Okay, we'll put you
- 8:28Speaker 3: on a bus or playing to Philadelphia. You want to
- 8:30Speaker 3: go to Miami, You're headed to Miami. You want to
- 8:32Speaker 3: go to Phoenix, You're headed to Phoenix. The Biden administration
- 8:37Speaker 3: is the last mile of the human trafficking network, which
- 8:42Speaker 3: means it doesn't matter whether there are fifteen hundred troops
- 8:46Speaker 3: on the border, or five thousand troops or ten thousand
- 8:51Speaker 3: or fifty thousand troops. They could have troops stationed every
- 8:55Speaker 3: hundred yards. It would not make a difference because when
- 8:59Speaker 3: they stop one, they would hand them over to the
- 9:02Speaker 3: Biden administration and they'd let them go. And as long
- 9:05Speaker 3: as that is the case, the only reason that Joe
- 9:10Speaker 3: Biden is sending soldiers to the southern border is for
- 9:13Speaker 3: the photo op to say, see, look what I'm doing.
- 9:17Speaker 3: But they know full well the objective is next week
- 9:21Speaker 3: they want more illegal aliens than we had last week,
- 9:25Speaker 3: and the week after that they want more than we
- 9:27Speaker 3: have next week.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Senator, I want to play for you, and it's not
- 9:31Speaker 2: surprising CNN when there's a camera and they have to
- 9:35Speaker 2: show you what's really happening at the border. They can't
- 9:38Speaker 2: lie to you anymore about just how bad this crisis is.
- 9:41Speaker 2: And I want you to hear what they even reported
- 9:43Speaker 2: in El Paso yesterday.
- 9:45Speaker 1: But before we get to that, I want to tell
- 9:47Speaker 1: you about our friends. Ever Chock.
- 9:48Speaker 2: If you are a guy and you feel like you've

- 11:03Speaker 2: for two months Schalk Joq dot com promo code. Ben, Senator,
- 11:09Speaker 2: you know how bad the crisis is if you go
- 11:11Speaker 2: to the border. You've been there many times as a
- 11:14Speaker 2: senator from Texas, I've been there several times. There's no
- 11:17Speaker 2: doubt the humanitarian crisis that is happening. CNN is now
- 11:22Speaker 2: forced to tell the truth that they went to El
- 11:24Speaker 2: Paso and this is what their reporter said. This is
- 11:27Speaker 2: not new, by the way, but they're finally admitting it
- 11:29Speaker 2: is a major problem.
- 11:32Speaker 4: Difficult to describe, Jim with words. Well, I want to walk,
- 11:36Speaker 4: so you can walk with me and just see the
- 11:38Speaker 4: magnitude of the number of individuals who are around this
- 11:42Speaker 4: church here, just just streets from downtown El Paso. A
- 11:46Speaker 4: lot of these individuals you'll see are males, adult males.
- 11:50Speaker 4: A lot of the women with children are actually in
- 11:53Speaker 4: shelters and a network of shelters throughout El Paso. As
- 11:56Speaker 4: you mentioned, the city of Olpasso under a state of emergence. See,
- 12:00Speaker 4: they declared a disaster because of the influx, because they
- 12:05Speaker 4: know that once Title forty two lifts that there is
- 12:08Speaker 4: going to be a greater influx of migrants. But here's
- 12:12Speaker 4: the thing, so process this with me.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Tile forty two allows.
- 12:15Speaker 4: Immigration agents to sickly return migrants back to Mexico. So
- 12:19Speaker 4: the obvious question as you look around is then why
- 12:21Speaker 4: are there so many migrants? If the federal government is
- 12:25Speaker 4: actually implementing this Title forty two, then why are there
- 12:29Speaker 4: so many migrants out here? Well, here's what we know
- 12:32Speaker 4: from talking to migrants and community leaders and officials.
- 12:35Speaker 1: On both sides of the border.
- 12:36Speaker 4: I can tell you that thousands of migrants there.
- 12:38Speaker 1: The forty thousand.
- 12:39Speaker 4: Are in at least four northern Mexican cities, and frustration
- 12:44Speaker 4: is boiling over. A lot of them are deciding.
- 12:47Speaker 1: To cross the border. That's why you.
- 12:48Speaker 4: See so many out here. Some of them are turning
- 12:52Speaker 4: themselves into border authorities gin others are deciding to cross
- 12:56Speaker 4: the border illegally because they've lost patience.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Not only is seen and falling over themselves to not
- 13:02Speaker 2: refer to them as legal immigrants, but they're showing you
- 13:05Speaker 2: what's been happening now for a long time and admitting
- 13:07Speaker 2: this is a state of emergency, and yet this administration
- 13:12Speaker 2: refuses to deal with it because they created this and
- 13:14Speaker 2: wanted this to happen.
- 13:16Speaker 3: They wanted to happen, and they wanted to get worse.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Look There's a reason why Joe Biden and Kamala Harris
- 13:24Speaker 3: don't want to go to our southern border because you
- 13:28Speaker 3: can't actually see what's happening there and defend it. It's
- 13:32Speaker 3: gotten so bad. Listen, CNN is a leftist propagandist network,
- 13:38Speaker 3: but if you listen to them, that little clip there
- 13:41Speaker 3: sounded like Fox News. And the reason is they actually
- 13:44Speaker 3: had the TV cameras going and you can see the misery,
- 13:49Speaker 3: the disaster that is unfolding. Where is aoc I assume
- 13:53Speaker 3: she still owns her white pantsuit that she went and
- 13:56Speaker 3: posed outside of a migrant cage, crying for the suffering.
- 14:03Speaker 3: She apparently doesn't care about the six and a half
- 14:06Speaker 3: million people have crossed illegally since Biden's become president. Now
- 14:10Speaker 3: it's not a crisis. Now, it's not a priority. The
- 14:14Speaker 3: Democrats are utterly hypocritical on this front. And you know,
- 14:20Speaker 3: a lot of people ask me why do they do this?
- 14:22Speaker 3: And I got to say, Ben, the only explanation I
- 14:26Speaker 3: can come up with is they look at six million
- 14:30Speaker 3: illegal immigrants and they think, Okay, those people are eventually
- 14:35Speaker 3: going to be Democrat voters, and so they see a
- 14:39Speaker 3: political advantage from changing the electorate of America to ensure
- 14:45Speaker 3: Democrat power forever. Okay, that's cynical. But what's amazing is
- 14:51Speaker 3: they're willing to look the other way at illegal immigrants
- 14:56Speaker 3: dying day after day after day. I asked Majorcus how
- 14:59Speaker 3: many migrants died crossing illegally in the country last year.
- 15:02Speaker 3: He said, I don't know. I have no idea. Of
- 15:05Speaker 3: course he doesn't because he didn't care. The number was
- 15:07Speaker 3: eight hundred and fifty three, but he didn't care. I
- 15:10Speaker 3: asked him how many women were sexually assaulted, how many
- 15:14Speaker 3: children were physically or sexually assaulted? He said, I don't know.
- 15:18Speaker 3: He didn't care. Last year, we had one hundred thousand
- 15:21Speaker 3: people die of drug overdoses, the majority of which was
- 15:26Speaker 3: from Chinese fentanyl coming across the border. He says, Oh,
- 15:29Speaker 3: I care deeply about that. But not only is he
- 15:32Speaker 3: not doing anything to stop it, he's putting in place
- 15:35Speaker 3: policies that will make it worse. That's the state of
- 15:40Speaker 3: politics right now on our border. And if you see it,
- 15:46Speaker 3: it is horrific. It's not humane, it's not compassionate. It
- 15:50Speaker 3: is a disaster.
- 15:52Speaker 2: I want to ask you something else, Center, and you
- 15:54Speaker 2: go back to twenty and eighteen, Kamala Harris called deploy
- 16:00Speaker 2: troops the border quote inappropriate, political and a demonstration for
- 16:05Speaker 2: the TV cameras her administration with the president is now
- 16:09Speaker 2: saying we do need to send people to the border
- 16:12Speaker 2: in uniform. Why is no one bringing this up in
- 16:16Speaker 2: the mainstream media.
- 16:18Speaker 3: Because the mainstream media are not journalists anymore. And by
- 16:21Speaker 3: the way, I never used the word mainstream. They are
- 16:25Speaker 3: not mainstream. They are Marxists, they are propagandists, they are Pravda.
- 16:32Speaker 3: And look, we've talked about this. Donald Trump broke the media.
- 16:37Speaker 3: They hate him so much. It used to be you know,
- 16:42Speaker 3: back six seven years ago, these left wing networks, whether
- 16:49Speaker 3: CNN or even MSNBC much less ABCCBSNBC viewed their jobs.
- 16:56Speaker 3: They would tell you we're not biased. They would describe
- 16:59Speaker 3: their jobs. We report both sides, we report the facts,
- 17:03Speaker 3: we let you decide. We don't editorialize. They would espouse
- 17:08Speaker 3: principles of journalism. Now they were terrible at following them,
- 17:11Speaker 3: but they actually held them out as this is what
- 17:14Speaker 3: we're trying to do. None of them do that anymore.
- 17:18Speaker 3: They don't view their mission as reporting both sides. They
- 17:23Speaker 3: view their mission as we are advocates to preach our
- 17:29Speaker 3: political ideology to flood the zone. That's how it rains.
- 17:34Speaker 3: The former managing editor of The New York Times referred
- 17:36Speaker 3: to it as they view their jobs. They're not just Democrats,
- 17:40Speaker 3: they're the left wing of the Democrat Party. So in
- 17:42Speaker 3: illegal immigration, they want this crisis to happen, and critically,
- 17:48Speaker 3: they want nobody to know about it. I mean, look,
- 17:50Speaker 3: the maddening thing is if you listen to Verdict, you
- 17:55Speaker 3: watch Fox News or Newsmax, you know about the crisis.
- 18:00Speaker 3: But if you are a typical American voter, if you're
- 18:03Speaker 3: not paying much attention to politics, if you're watching one
- 18:07Speaker 3: of the corporate media outlets, you don't know that this
- 18:10Speaker 3: is happening. Because they can't defend it on the merits,
- 18:14Speaker 3: so their only defense is ignore it and pretend it doesn't.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Exist, no doubt about it.
- 18:20Speaker 2: I want to ask you one other thing about my
- 18:22Speaker 2: orchestral quick and after this title forty two expires, is
- 18:26Speaker 2: it going to be easier to impeach him if Republicans
- 18:30Speaker 2: decide to move that way in the House, should they
- 18:32Speaker 2: move towards that? But before we get to that, I
- 18:34Speaker 2: want to tell you about our good friends at got

- 18:37Speaker 2: hands on a free pure gold coin. You can just

- 19:39Speaker 2: seven four goldri to learn how to protect your retirement
- 19:44Speaker 2: and get your free gold coin. That's a Gusta Precious
- 19:46Speaker 2: Metals dot Com call them eight seven to seven the
- 19:50Speaker 2: number four gold Ira. Senator, you and I have talked
- 19:54Speaker 2: about this a lot on this show, and that is
- 19:56Speaker 2: about just the total abuse power by my orcist not
- 20:02Speaker 2: doing his job what his job is supposed to be.
- 20:05Speaker 2: After Title forty two expires, will that give Republicans even
- 20:10Speaker 2: more leverage to hold them accountable for what is happening
- 20:14Speaker 2: and unfolding. A CNN put it a total state of
- 20:17Speaker 2: emergency humanitarian crisis.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Well, sure, the worse the disaster gets, the stronger the
- 20:24Speaker 3: case is for impeaching Mayorcus. I would impeach Mayorcus today,
- 20:29Speaker 3: and listen. One of the challenges is that we just
- 20:33Speaker 3: have a four vote majority in the House, so they've
- 20:36Speaker 3: got to make sure they don't have five wobbly Republicans,
- 20:40Speaker 3: and it's not clear whether that's the case or not.
- 20:43Speaker 3: I think that's one of the things that is slowing
- 20:46Speaker 3: it up. I believe they should impeach him today. And
- 20:51Speaker 3: the worse it gets, the stronger the case gets.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Let's introduce the audience to what's going to be happening
- 21:00Speaker 2: this reelection campaign for you in Texas.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Your opponent is a hard core liberal.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Some would even describe him as even left of Joe Biden.
- 21:10Speaker 1: He is a member of Congress.
- 21:12Speaker 2: He has officially announced, Colin Aldred that he is running
- 21:15Speaker 2: against you for the Senate. Let's talk a little bit
- 21:17Speaker 2: about who this individual is and what this means for
- 21:20Speaker 2: the race.
- 21:21Speaker 3: Well, sure, he's a very liberal Democrat congressman from Dallas, Texas.
- 21:26Speaker 3: He played in the NFL, and in twenty eighteen he
- 21:32Speaker 3: ran and beat Pete Sessions for the congressional seat near
- 21:38Speaker 3: downtown Dallas Highland Park, University Park, the uber wealthy people
- 21:43Speaker 3: from Dallas. He beat Pete Sessions there. Now, Dallas County
- 21:49Speaker 3: was at the time trending blue in a big, big way.
- 21:52Speaker 3: The Democrats were in the process of more than doubling
- 21:56Speaker 3: Democrat turnout statewide. It was my last reale and the
- 22:01Speaker 3: Democrats were flooding the zone trying to beat me. Colin
- 22:05Speaker 3: all Read his voting record is extreme left. Now, if
- 22:10Speaker 3: you watch the corrupt corporate media, they will use words
- 22:14Speaker 3: for him like moderate, bipartisan, middle of the road. Every
- 22:20Speaker 3: one of those words is a lie. Now, let me
- 22:22Speaker 3: be clear, I don't know the guy. I don't know
- 22:27Speaker 3: him personally at all, because in the six years he's
- 22:31Speaker 3: been in Congress, if he's done anything, I don't know
- 22:35Speaker 3: about it, and he certainly has not been involved in
- 22:37Speaker 3: any significant issues. I know virtually every member of the
- 22:40Speaker 3: congressional Caucus. I don't know him, but I do know
- 22:44Speaker 3: his voting record. And it's interesting that the media is
- 22:48Speaker 3: trying to say he's a moderate guy. What percentage do
- 22:53Speaker 3: you think for the first four years he was in Congress,
- 22:56Speaker 3: what percent of the time do you think he voted
- 22:58Speaker 3: with Nancy Pelosi.
- 23:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna go ninety five plus.
- 23:03Speaker 3: So ninety five would be a good guess. It's not
- 23:06Speaker 3: ninety five. It's not ninety six. It's not ninety seven.
- 23:10Speaker 3: It's not ninety eight. It's not ninety nine. It's not
- 23:14Speaker 3: ninety nine point five. It's not ninety nine point eight.
- 23:20Speaker 3: It's not ninety nine point nine. Colin all Read voted
- 23:25Speaker 3: with Nancy Pelosi one hundred percent of the time his
- 23:30Speaker 3: first four years in Congress. In other words, his service
- 23:34Speaker 3: in Congress representing Dallas, Texas would have not have been
- 23:38Speaker 3: different in any way whatsoever. If he'd walked in the
- 23:41Speaker 3: day he took the oath of office, handed his voting
- 23:44Speaker 3: card to Nancy Pelosi and said, Nancy, you're now a
- 23:48Speaker 3: congresswoman from San Francisco and a congresswoman from Dallas, Texas.
- 23:54Speaker 3: You can vote them both however you like. That's really astonishing.
- 23:59Speaker 3: What that means is on every issue Texans care about,
- 24:03Speaker 3: he's voted wrong. So he's voted for open borders over
- 24:06Speaker 3: and over again. He's voted for higher taxes over and
- 24:10Speaker 3: over again. He's voted for eighty seven thousand new IRS agents.
- 24:14Speaker 3: He's voted for massive new regulations. He's voted for the
- 24:19Speaker 3: Biden administration's assault on oil and gas and energy production
- 24:25Speaker 3: here in the United States. Amazingly enough, Colin all Read's
- 24:30Speaker 3: voting record.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Is also.
- 24:35Speaker 3: To the left of Joe Biden. So there are two
- 24:40Speaker 3: instances where Colin all Read voted with Nancy Pelosi and
- 24:44Speaker 3: not Joe Biden. One concerning the DC City Council when
- 24:50Speaker 3: they passed a law lowering the punishment in DC for
- 24:56Speaker 3: violent crime, lowering the punishment for murderers, lowing the lowering
- 25:01Speaker 3: the punishment for rapists, releasing violent criminals into the community,
- 25:06Speaker 3: and Congress repealed that past passed legislation repealing that Republicans
- 25:15Speaker 3: voted against it, A number of Democrats voted against it,
- 25:20Speaker 3: and even Joe Biden said, DC's gone too far. I
- 25:25Speaker 3: disagree with their releasing murderers and violent criminals. You know what,
- 25:29Speaker 3: you know who didn't Colin all read He and Nancy
- 25:32Speaker 3: Pelosi said nope, if there's a murderer, we need to
- 25:35Speaker 3: let him go. The other major place that he divoted
- 25:40Speaker 3: from Joe Biden is on voting to conclude that the
- 25:45Speaker 3: COVID pandemic, the COVID health emergency was over. Joe Biden said,
- 25:52Speaker 3: the health emergency was over, but yet when we voted
- 25:54Speaker 3: on it, he said, nope, we need to keep the
- 25:57Speaker 3: emergency going. We need government power to the end of time. Now, look,
- 26:04Speaker 3: it's fine if he wants to be a left wing activist,
- 26:09Speaker 3: but those views are not the views of the people
- 26:12Speaker 3: of Texas. But let me tell you something, this race
- 26:18Speaker 3: is going to be one hell of a fight. My
- 26:21Speaker 3: last Senate reelect was in twenty eighteen. In twenty eighteen,
- 26:27Speaker 3: it was the most expensive Senate race in the history
- 26:31Speaker 3: of our nation in hard money. We were out spent
- 26:36Speaker 3: three to one. They flooded the zone. Let me tell
- 26:40Speaker 3: you what Democrats did in twenty eighteen. They increased Democrat
- 26:45Speaker 3: turnout in the state of Texas from one point eight
- 26:48Speaker 3: million all the way up to four million. They more
- 26:52Speaker 3: than doubled Democrat turnout in Texas. Now we saw that coming,
- 26:58Speaker 3: we leaned in hard and we increased Republican turnout from
- 27:03Speaker 3: two point eight million all the way up to four
- 27:07Speaker 3: point two million. But point two was the whole margin
- 27:11Speaker 3: we had. We won by two hundred thousand votes out
- 27:14Speaker 3: of more than eight million votes cast. That shows the
- 27:19Speaker 3: kind of battle that's going to be. They are going
- 27:22Speaker 3: to flood the state of Texas with cash, and Texas
- 27:25Speaker 3: is the single biggest prize for Democrats in the country
- 27:29Speaker 3: and at some level, Ben, it's not rocket science. If
- 27:34Speaker 3: you're a Democrat after Donald Trump, there is no Republican
- 27:40Speaker 3: in the country you want to beat more than me.
- 27:42Speaker 3: And so they're going to flood the state with cash
- 27:46Speaker 3: trying to flip Texas blue.
- 27:48Speaker 2: You know, this reminds me of the billboard that's up,
- 27:51Speaker 2: Don't California my Texas. That's really what this election is
- 27:55Speaker 2: going to be about. With a guy that votes with
- 27:58Speaker 2: Nancy Pelosia, one hundred percent of the time, he's going
- 28:01Speaker 2: to turn Texas into California. That's the goal of the
- 28:03Speaker 2: outside money. And you mentioned that amount of money. He's
- 28:06Speaker 2: raised some cash, a couple million dollars after he announced
- 28:08Speaker 2: he was running against you. But this is going to
- 28:11Speaker 2: be outside interest. This is not going to be Texas
- 28:14Speaker 2: money coming in. This is a massive amount of money
- 28:17Speaker 2: coming in from out of the state trying to California.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Are Texas no different than when Beto was running against
- 28:23Speaker 2: you The majority of his money that he was raising
- 28:25Speaker 2: was from outside the state.
- 28:29Speaker 3: That's exactly right. There's cash flooding into his campaign in
- 28:34Speaker 3: the thirty six hours since he's announced, and this is
- 28:37Speaker 3: what he's publicly revealed. He's raised over two million dollars
- 28:42Speaker 3: in a day and a half. That is indicative of
- 28:47Speaker 3: the title wave of cash that is going to come in. Look,
- 28:51Speaker 3: if you're a leftist, if you're a Marxist, if you're
- 28:54Speaker 3: an anarchist, if you're an anti terrorist in Manhattan and
- 28:59Speaker 3: San Francis in Chicago, you're giving money to this guy.
- 29:05Speaker 3: They all are. And so that degree of cash. And
- 29:08Speaker 3: I will say to our fabulous Verdict listeners, if you
- 29:12Speaker 3: want to counteract that, you should go to Ted Cruz
- 29:14Speaker 3: dot org, Tedcruz dot org, Ted Cruz dot org and
- 29:18Speaker 3: counteract that because they are coming after me. And you
- 29:22Speaker 3: know what's amazing, Ben, Do you know what his first
- 29:25Speaker 3: line of attack is?
- 29:29Speaker 1: What's that? The podcast?
- 29:33Speaker 3: He is attacking the podcast, and in particular, he has
- 29:38Speaker 3: come out and said that, well, Cruz is spending all
- 29:44Speaker 3: of this time, three days a week doing a podcast.
- 29:48Speaker 3: He's a podcaster and not a senator. And he said
- 29:52Speaker 3: I wouldn't have time, he said, I represent just one district.
- 29:55Speaker 3: I wouldn't have time to do a podcast. Well, maybe
- 29:57Speaker 3: that's right, maybe you wouldn't have time. Some of us
- 30:00Speaker 3: actually work, and I can tell you as a senator,
- 30:05Speaker 3: I am working every single day and this podcast is
- 30:11Speaker 3: a huge part of my job because a huge part
- 30:14Speaker 3: of my job is communicating with my constituents. I believe
- 30:19Speaker 3: very much that in what Margaret Thatcher said, first you
- 30:23Speaker 3: win the argument, then you win the vote. We launch
- 30:27Speaker 3: this podcast in order to reach the hearts and minds
- 30:34Speaker 3: of Texans and Americans, to reach people across the country,
- 30:38Speaker 3: particularly given the corruption of the corporate media, that if
- 30:42Speaker 3: you're an American who cares about freedom, who cares about
- 30:46Speaker 3: our constitutional rights. Who cares about free enterprise because the
- 30:50Speaker 3: corporate media is so dishonest that they lie to you.
- 30:55Speaker 3: This podcast exists to give our listeners information so they
- 31:00Speaker 3: can go and talk to their friends, talk to their neighbors,
- 31:03Speaker 3: talk to their family members, and.
- 31:05Speaker 1: Tell the truth.
- 31:06Speaker 3: This podcast, it's not peripheral to my job as senator.
- 31:11Speaker 3: It's integral to my job as senator. Look, the last
- 31:13Speaker 3: podcast we did on Wednesday, actually on Tuesday. We released
- 31:18Speaker 3: it a day early on Tuesday because we did a
- 31:20Speaker 3: deep dive on the dishonest smears and attacks on Clarence Thomas.
- 31:25Speaker 3: Why because Tuesday morning there was a big hearing in
- 31:28Speaker 3: the Judiciary Committee where the Democrats were going to try
- 31:31Speaker 3: to amplify those attacks. And I wanted people across Texas
- 31:35Speaker 3: and across the country to have the actual facts and information.
- 31:40Speaker 3: And so it's bizarre that this left wing democrat is
- 31:46Speaker 3: using the fact that I've been effective in communicating with
- 31:50Speaker 3: Texans and Americans as saying, well, that makes him a
- 31:53Speaker 3: bad senator. He should not communicate. And by the way, look,
- 31:57Speaker 3: Colin Allred goes and does interviews. Now, mind you, he
- 32:00Speaker 3: does interviews with MSNBC with really friendly interviewers that you
- 32:04Speaker 3: know ask him questions like tell me, are you more
- 32:06Speaker 3: handsome or brilliant? But you know what, if you're a
- 32:12Speaker 3: left wing Democrat, you go on MSNBC, people go donate online,
- 32:16Speaker 3: and you raise two million dollars.
- 32:18Speaker 1: In thirty six hours.
- 32:19Speaker 3: So there's a cash machine that comes from this. This
- 32:23Speaker 3: podcast is designed for one purpose, to inform, to educate,
- 32:29Speaker 3: to mobilize, to prepare Texans and Americans to engage in
- 32:36Speaker 3: the major issues of the day, and for us to win,
- 32:39Speaker 3: to pull the country back from the brink. And it
- 32:43Speaker 3: is it is right at the heart of.
- 32:46Speaker 1: My job as a center.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Yeah, you mentioned being able to not only inform people,
- 32:51Speaker 2: but give them the tools they need to ask tough questions.
- 32:54Speaker 2: Clarence Thomas in the episode that you just mentioned went viral.
- 32:58Speaker 2: It was It was one of our most shared episodes
- 33:00Speaker 2: that we've ever had because people wanted to tell their
- 33:04Speaker 2: family and their friends about this backstory. Let's give a
- 33:07Speaker 2: little bit of an update on what went down in
- 33:10Speaker 2: Congress with this attack on Quence Thomas and really the
- 33:14Speaker 2: attack on the Supreme Court from the Democrats. Before we
- 33:16Speaker 2: do that, I want to tell you about our good
- 33:17Speaker 2: friends at Patriot Mobile. If you're a conservative and you're
- 33:21Speaker 2: sick and tired of giving your money to companies that

- 33:29Speaker 2: Patriot Mobile. For years, big mobile companies have been dumping
- 33:34Speaker 2: millions into leftist causes, and we just had to deal

- 33:45Speaker 2: dependable nationwide coverage on all three major networks, so you

- 34:00Speaker 2: When you switch to Patriot Mobile, you support free speech,

- 34:41Speaker 2: com slash Ferguson Center. You know, Clarence Thomas is a
- 34:45Speaker 2: Supreme Court justice that the Democrats have really come in
- 34:49Speaker 2: and gone after him.
- 34:50Speaker 1: They won him off the Supreme Court.
- 34:52Speaker 2: I think a lot of this comes down to what
- 34:54Speaker 2: a threat he is to the Democratic Party. They're attacking
- 34:58Speaker 2: him in ways that are shot me. Many believe it's
- 35:01Speaker 2: in a racist manner. You talked about the facts, and
- 35:04Speaker 2: you also talked about what was going to happen in
- 35:07Speaker 2: Congress this week.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Give a quick update on how this all went down.
- 35:12Speaker 3: Well, we had the hearing on Tuesday that we talked
- 35:15Speaker 3: about the last podcast where the Democrats engaged in their
- 35:18Speaker 3: smear attack on Clarence Thomas and the Supreme Court. And
- 35:23Speaker 3: they're twin objectives. Number One, they want to delegitimize the
- 35:26Speaker 3: Court because the Court is the one institution of the
- 35:30Speaker 3: federal government that they do not control right now. And
- 35:34Speaker 3: they are furious that there is a majority on the
- 35:39Speaker 3: Court of constitutionalists who are willing to follow the law,
- 35:43Speaker 3: and so they've decided to help with America. To hell
- 35:46Speaker 3: with the rule of law, to hell with the constitution.
- 35:49Speaker 3: They want to tear down the Supreme Court. They you
- 35:52Speaker 3: see democrat after democrat after democrats saying the Supreme Court
- 35:56Speaker 3: is corrupt, it is broken, it is terrible, and not
- 36:00Speaker 3: a one of them cares about what are the effects
- 36:03Speaker 3: to this country of a concerted political campaign to delegitimize
- 36:09Speaker 3: the court. But they want every decision of the Court
- 36:12Speaker 3: to be treated as Look, AOC went on national television
- 36:18Speaker 3: and said, we should stop obeying and listening to decisions
- 36:22Speaker 3: of the Court. And you want to talk about a
- 36:24Speaker 3: dangerous statement when you're urging defy the rule of law,
- 36:29Speaker 3: defy our judiciary, I mean that goes right to the
- 36:33Speaker 3: heart of undermining our constitutional system. But their second objective,
- 36:39Speaker 3: and it is a very deliberate objective, is to go
- 36:40Speaker 3: after Clarence Thomas personally. They hate him. They loathe him
- 36:46Speaker 3: with a degree of animosity that is qualitatively different from
- 36:50Speaker 3: any other conservative Listen antonin Scalia was every bit as conservatives.
- 36:54Speaker 3: Clarence Thomas, William Renquist, my old boss, was every bit
- 36:58Speaker 3: as conservatives Clarence to time Thomas, and yet the left
- 37:02Speaker 3: did not despise them. They didn't like how they voted,
- 37:05Speaker 3: but they didn't despise them. The left hates, and I
- 37:09Speaker 3: don't think hate is too strong a word. They hate
- 37:12Speaker 3: Clarence Thomas because he's an African American man who dares
- 37:18Speaker 3: to be a conservative, and their view it is, I think,
- 37:22Speaker 3: frankly racist. It is condescending, which is that if you
- 37:26Speaker 3: are black, you are not allowed to disagree with the
- 37:30Speaker 3: leftist orthodoxy. By the way, the same thing is true
- 37:33Speaker 3: if you're Hispanic. It's one of the reasons the left
- 37:35Speaker 3: hates me so much because as an Hispanic guy, I'm
- 37:39Speaker 3: supposed to be for open borders. I'm supposed to be
- 37:41Speaker 3: for these left wing policies. And this is what Clarence
- 37:47Speaker 3: Thomas is facing is a political campaign. It is not
- 37:51Speaker 3: an objective inquiry into ethics. It is a political attack.
- 37:56Speaker 3: Just like if someone was running for president or senator
- 37:59Speaker 3: or governor, they'd face a political attack. And the problem
- 38:03Speaker 3: is justices are not equipped to defend themselves. They don't
- 38:07Speaker 3: have any political staff, they don't have any experience, they
- 38:10Speaker 3: don't have the temperament. It's a political attack where the
- 38:13Speaker 3: victim of the attack is unable to fight back, which
- 38:18Speaker 3: means the rest of us have to. And so that's
- 38:22Speaker 3: what I'm trying to do. It's why we put out
- 38:24Speaker 3: the last podcast early. But I'll give you some good news.
- 38:28Speaker 3: We had the hearing and it did not go well
- 38:31Speaker 3: for Democrats. By the end of it, Democrats had left
- 38:34Speaker 3: the room. I think they realized, Wow, we're looking really bad,
- 38:38Speaker 3: we're looking hypocritical. It's obvious that we're applying a double standard.
- 38:43Speaker 3: That the things were criticizing Clarence Thomas for liberal justices
- 38:49Speaker 3: did the same or more of it, whether it was
- 38:52Speaker 3: Stephen Bryer, Ruth Bader, Ginsburger, Sony Sotomayor, and so I
- 38:56Speaker 3: think that was a significant victory that the hearing went
- 39:01Speaker 3: so badly for Democrats. But in the couple of days
- 39:05Speaker 3: since the hearing, every day a new attack has come
- 39:09Speaker 3: out on Clarence Thomas.
- 39:11Speaker 2: Yeah, it's clear that it's orchestrated and they're not going
- 39:14Speaker 2: to back down from their attacks on Clarence Thomas. On
- 39:17Speaker 2: the next podcast, and I want to just get people
- 39:20Speaker 2: ready for this, we're going to be talking a lot
- 39:22Speaker 2: about what's happening with this Hunter Biden case. But I
- 39:25Speaker 2: do want to get center your initial reaction. Not only
- 39:28Speaker 2: did Biden's attorneys meet with the Justice Department and they're
- 39:31Speaker 2: headquarters in downtown Washington last week, but Cinder Grassley is
- 39:34Speaker 2: now demanding answers after a whistle blower's alleging FBI document
- 39:40Speaker 2: linked to Biden in a criminal scheme.
- 39:44Speaker 1: I want to get quickly your reaction to that headline.
- 39:48Speaker 3: It's a big damn deal. The evidence keeps piling up,
- 39:52Speaker 3: not just of Hunter Biden's corruption, but of the corruption
- 39:55Speaker 3: that goes straight to the top to Joe Biden. As
- 39:58Speaker 3: we've talked about at great length on this podcast. The tell.
- 40:03Speaker 3: I think the Biden doj will indict Hunter Biden, But
- 40:06Speaker 3: if they indict him for personal tax issues or for
- 40:10Speaker 3: lying on his gun permit application, that will be the
