- 1:58Speaker 2: Come out, you think I sure will? Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 2: You are listening to the voice, Come on dig me now.
- 2:07Speaker 2: One and only. Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah, man,
- 2:12Speaker 2: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Trying to do something
- 2:15Speaker 2: with it too. Man. You know.
- 2:18Speaker 7: I was having a conversation the other day with a
- 2:22Speaker 7: young person and they were telling me how they felt
- 2:26Speaker 7: that their life was stuck, that their life was in
- 2:28Speaker 7: a rut, that they didn't know what to do next.
- 2:34Speaker 7: And one of the things that was causing them this
- 2:38Speaker 7: sadness or this depression. I mean, they're really really into
- 2:41Speaker 7: something right now. One of the things that was causing
- 2:44Speaker 7: it was the fact that they had made a list
- 2:50Speaker 7: of things they wanted to accomplish by a certain.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Age, and.
- 2:56Speaker 7: That age they just had a birthday recently, and they
- 3:02Speaker 7: were looking at the list and the list hadn't been fulfilled.
- 3:08Speaker 7: And because that list hadn't been fulfilled. They were really
- 3:13Speaker 7: really sad about it.
- 3:16Speaker 8: You know.
- 3:17Speaker 2: One of the things that they had on.
- 3:19Speaker 7: The list was marriage, kids, and I don't know everything
- 3:25Speaker 7: else that was on the list, but that was one
- 3:27Speaker 7: of them. And because she had reached a certain age
- 3:31Speaker 7: and she wasn't married, and she didn't have the kids,
- 3:34Speaker 7: and she had just celebrated a birthday, she's gone into
- 3:38Speaker 7: this mode of sadness where it's really really taken a
- 3:43Speaker 7: toll on her. And as I was learning about her situation,
- 3:50Speaker 7: I was thinking about it, and I just wanted to
- 3:54Speaker 7: share this with you all this morning. That one of
- 3:57Speaker 7: the things about making a list about what you want,
- 4:00Speaker 7: which I happen to be a proponent of, I do
- 4:03Speaker 7: it myself. People have dream boards. I have a goal sheet.
- 4:07Speaker 7: I've been doing it for years. It's a wonderful way
- 4:12Speaker 7: to set goals and to keep it in front of
- 4:14Speaker 7: you as a constant reminder. And I always go over
- 4:17Speaker 7: this goal list every day, you know, I mean I
- 4:20Speaker 7: go with it all the time every day. Sometimes I
- 4:23Speaker 7: miss a day here and there, but mostly every day
- 4:26Speaker 7: I pull my goal sheet out and I look at it,
- 4:28Speaker 7: I read it. So I was going to these rallies,
- 4:31Speaker 7: and I was learning about, you know, people who were
- 4:34Speaker 7: successful in how they kept their mind writing possible. And
- 4:37Speaker 7: one of the things I learned was to make these
- 4:39Speaker 7: dream boards, these lists, these gold sheets. And in making
- 4:44Speaker 7: a gold sheet, and you make the sheet according to
- 4:47Speaker 7: what you want. Think about one thing when you made
- 4:52Speaker 7: your goal sheet, about what you wanted? Does your goal
- 4:56Speaker 7: sheet have on it what God wants from you? Did
- 5:00Speaker 7: you ask in any of this what was His will
- 5:03Speaker 7: in your life?
- 5:05Speaker 1: You know?
- 5:05Speaker 7: Look, man, what we want oftentimes is not what He
- 5:10Speaker 7: wants for us. And you know, if you're fighting against
- 5:14Speaker 7: what you were created for, if you're fighting against his will,
- 5:18Speaker 7: I mean, what do you want to happen?
- 5:21Speaker 2: See, don't be so hard.
- 5:22Speaker 7: On yourself when you look at your goal sheet and
- 5:25Speaker 7: you look at what you've not become what you thought
- 5:28Speaker 7: was a great idea. Don't be so hard on yourself
- 5:31Speaker 7: because you just made a minor mistake. As do most people,
- 5:34Speaker 7: we oftentimes make our goals and set our goals up
- 5:37Speaker 7: without ever considering what is it that God wants from us.
- 5:41Speaker 7: We keep talking about what we want without ever finding
- 5:44Speaker 7: out or knowing what it is God wants for us. Well,
- 5:47Speaker 7: guess what, man, Maybe you're fighting against the grain. Maybe
- 5:50Speaker 7: you just a salmon heading upstream. That's a tough fight upstream.
- 5:54Speaker 7: Not all salmon's get up to the spawning grounds, you know.
- 5:57Speaker 7: Some of them don't make it upstream, you know. But
- 5:59Speaker 7: all of them, nearly all of them, except the ones
- 6:02Speaker 7: that's killed by pray. When they're spawn they go out
- 6:05Speaker 7: to the ocean. That's cool because you're going because you're
- 6:08Speaker 7: going with the grain. You're going downstream, you're going with
- 6:11Speaker 7: the flow. That's but when it's time to go against
- 6:15Speaker 7: the grain, it's tough. And a lot of us have
- 6:17Speaker 7: just been going against the grain for all of these years.
- 6:20Speaker 7: But you know what, listen, man, I did it. I
- 6:23Speaker 7: know a lot of people who did it. Very few
- 6:25Speaker 7: people get it right from the very beginning. Man, you
- 6:30Speaker 7: got to stumble through life sometimes sometimes you got to
- 6:32Speaker 7: fall through life. You got to make a lot of mistakes, man,
- 6:36Speaker 7: But these mistakes are not failures. You know, when you fail,
- 6:39Speaker 7: it's something. Don't look at it as a failure. Don't
- 6:41Speaker 7: look at yourself as a failure. Because you're thirty and
- 6:44Speaker 7: your goals ain't reached that you had on your list,
- 6:46Speaker 7: that was your list.
- 6:48Speaker 2: What about the things that's going right.
- 6:51Speaker 7: Stop looking at what you're not, take some time out
- 6:54Speaker 7: and thank God for what you are. How about the
- 6:56Speaker 7: fact that you keep waking up to be thirty. You
- 6:59Speaker 7: know you get depressed by these birthdays. You really want
- 7:01Speaker 7: to throw yourself in some depression. Miss a birthday, You
- 7:04Speaker 7: really got a problem. Now look at where you are.
- 7:08Speaker 7: You keep reaching birthdays. That's a glorious blessing. You keep
- 7:12Speaker 7: waking up. You got your health, You've accomplished something. Something
- 7:15Speaker 7: on your list is done. People spend too much time
- 7:19Speaker 7: on the negative side, and you're just throwing yourself into depression.
- 7:22Speaker 7: So what you want to be married by a certain
- 7:24Speaker 7: age and you wanted to have kids, Okay, cool, you
- 7:27Speaker 7: could have done all that with the wrong person. There's
- 7:30Speaker 7: a blessing in not being married to the wrong person.
- 7:33Speaker 7: There's a blessing in not having kids and nobody'll help
- 7:36Speaker 7: you raise it. There's a blessing in that man. You're
- 7:38Speaker 7: talking to somebody who can tell it to you. You
- 7:40Speaker 7: can marry the wrong person if you want to. I'm
- 7:43Speaker 7: telling you you're gonna be up in some mess you
- 7:45Speaker 7: can't count on. So instead of being angry because you're
- 7:49Speaker 7: not married, you don't have kids, why don't you thank
- 7:51Speaker 7: God the man? Maybe he spared you from some misery here.
- 7:54Speaker 7: Maybe you could have married the wrong person. Maybe you
- 7:56Speaker 7: have kids and you're not really ready to be a
- 7:58Speaker 7: mother or a father. You got to look at the upside, man,
- 8:02Speaker 7: Quit looking at what you don't have. Take some time
- 8:04Speaker 7: to thank God for what you do have. When you
- 8:07Speaker 7: do that, you make more room for blessings to flow
- 8:09Speaker 7: into your life. I'm not saying how God thinks, because
- 8:13Speaker 7: I really don't know, but I'm telling you if a
- 8:17Speaker 7: person comes to me and I always give a person
- 8:19Speaker 7: something and they never appear grateful, or they never say
- 8:22Speaker 7: thank you, please, know you can quit.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Coming to me now.
- 8:27Speaker 7: I don't notice how God works because I've gone back
- 8:30Speaker 7: to him several times without being grateful of thanking him,
- 8:33Speaker 7: and He's filled my basket up again. So I really
- 8:37Speaker 7: think he's not like that. But I can't make the
- 8:40Speaker 7: call for sure. But I think at one point in time,
- 8:44Speaker 7: me it's just me talking. I'd be a little ticked
- 8:46Speaker 7: off at somebody who was always taking, taking, taking, and
- 8:50Speaker 7: never showing any gratitude. At one point in time, I
- 8:53Speaker 7: would just stop the flow of the take you know
- 8:56Speaker 7: you just you can't take no more from me.
- 8:59Speaker 2: That's what I would do. Now.
- 9:00Speaker 7: I'm not calling it like that because I ain't him,
- 9:03Speaker 7: but I know he's merciful, he's full of goodness and
- 9:06Speaker 7: he and he'll forgive you again. And thank God he
- 9:09Speaker 7: does that because he's show enough done it for me.
- 9:11Speaker 7: But wow, man, take some time out today and be
- 9:14Speaker 7: grateful for what you have. Stop complaining about where you not,
- 9:17Speaker 7: and think about where you are, and then take it
- 9:20Speaker 7: from there. And the next time you make a list,
- 9:22Speaker 7: make sure on that list you have God's will? What
- 9:25Speaker 7: does he want for you? Does God create give everybody
- 9:29Speaker 7: a gift and a talent? Some of us never applied
- 9:31Speaker 7: gifts and talents. We head off in another direction. Then
- 9:34Speaker 7: you wonder why your life ain't where it's supposed to be.
- 9:37Speaker 7: Have you ever thought about what God gifted you to do?
- 9:39Speaker 7: Have you ever thought about doing that? And still skip
- 9:42Speaker 7: what you want? I wanted to play in the NBA,
- 9:44Speaker 7: but I got to tell you something. At dribbling and
- 9:47Speaker 7: shooting and running all at one time throwing me off
- 9:50Speaker 7: a little bit. You know, they just so I'm doing
- 9:53Speaker 7: what I do. It's pretty cool. You gonna look at
- 9:55Speaker 7: it that way. Okay, morning show, ladies and gentlemen. It
- 10:03Speaker 7: is about that time. It is time to begin. But
- 10:07Speaker 7: before we start, we want to say thank you. I
- 10:12Speaker 7: know you're probably thinking, I'm thinking the fans and everything,
- 10:15Speaker 7: and we do because without you who, we wouldn't have
- 10:18Speaker 7: a show, We wouldn't have the numbers, we wouldn't have
- 10:21Speaker 7: the ratings, We couldn't be number one without you.
- 10:25Speaker 2: So for that we have to say thank you.
- 10:28Speaker 7: But I have a question for you and me and
- 10:31Speaker 7: everybody else though, who we really need.
- 10:35Speaker 2: To think though?
- 10:37Speaker 1: Huh?
- 10:38Speaker 7: Who we really oh it too? Who really got us here?
- 10:45Speaker 7: Skip this show? I'm talking about who got.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Us to the next phase of light? Who?
- 10:52Speaker 8: With that?
- 10:53Speaker 7: I'm gonna tell you who it was? It was him again?
- 10:57Speaker 7: He did it? God did it. Yeah, it's nothing you
- 11:01Speaker 7: can do about it either.
- 11:03Speaker 2: His love is all.
- 11:05Speaker 7: Encompassing, His mercy and grace is available to all. I
- 11:09Speaker 7: know for a fact, I have been a direct recipient
- 11:12Speaker 7: of nothing but a whole lot of grace and mercy
- 11:15Speaker 7: and a whole lot of forgiveness.
- 11:17Speaker 2: And I thank him for.
- 11:19Speaker 7: Because man, really, technically I shouldn't even be here. Technically
- 11:25Speaker 7: I really shouldn't. Man, I know the times I thought
- 11:29Speaker 7: I was gone and it was two of them, And
- 11:35Speaker 7: then I don't even know about the time somebody had
- 11:38Speaker 7: some evil plan for me and it just ain't work
- 11:41Speaker 7: out for them like it usually das right. I'm Isaiah
- 11:46Speaker 7: fifty four seventeen all day long. No weapon formed against
- 11:50Speaker 7: me your profit. So you come from if you want to.
- 11:54Speaker 7: But I need you to understand I'm not over here
- 11:57Speaker 7: by myself.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Now.
- 12:01Speaker 7: You know, I might look like I'm takable, but they
- 12:04Speaker 7: ain't got me yet. My track record with him is strong. Okay,
- 12:10Speaker 7: So come if.
- 12:11Speaker 2: You want to.
- 12:11Speaker 7: You're gonna end up with all the rest of them
- 12:13Speaker 7: at I'm just saying that ain't no threat. That ain't
- 12:18Speaker 7: no nothing. That's his promise to me. He told me,
- 12:21Speaker 7: no weaponform against me shall proper. I'm just stupid enough
- 12:25Speaker 7: to believe that, and thus far it didn't work. Yeah,
- 12:31Speaker 7: here gonna get ladies and gentlemen. This is to Steve
- 12:33Speaker 7: Harky mort If you don't like the way we started. Man,

- 17:25Speaker 14: that's gonna cast some money. I have to pay him.

- 17:31Speaker 14: the paperworkers in correct, it's not on us, and I
- 17:33Speaker 14: might have to charge you a little extra money just
- 17:36Speaker 14: so I can get it taken care of.

- 21:02Speaker 11: In entertainment news, celebrities, presidents, and people from all walks
- 21:06Speaker 11: of life are posting heartfelt tributes to the late great
- 21:10Speaker 11: Harry Belafonte. Plus another entertainment news, Tony Braxton came close

- 21:26Speaker 11: these stories at the top of the hour, but right
- 21:28Speaker 11: now it is time to ask the c l O. Yeah,
- 21:33Speaker 11: this is from Sonia in Chesapeake, who writes, my male
- 21:37Speaker 11: co worker has tried to date me for over a year,
- 21:40Speaker 11: but I don't mix business with pleasure. He met one
- 21:43Speaker 11: of my female friends and he treats her like a queen.
- 21:47Speaker 17: She said.
- 21:47Speaker 11: The sex is exceptional too. Do I get my man
- 21:50Speaker 11: back or let her have him first?
- 21:57Speaker 7: And sale, I don't mix h date with his. You
- 22:03Speaker 7: work together, that's all you had your shot. It ain't
- 22:07Speaker 7: he ain't your man. No, you know, he might have
- 22:11Speaker 7: found somebody that really appreciate his efforts, and he and
- 22:16Speaker 7: they're rewarding each other.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Because if she's telling you his is good, Lord, have mercy,
- 22:23Speaker 2: she ain't telling you what she putting on him. Now
- 22:29Speaker 2: he's somewhere so happy. Too late.
- 22:33Speaker 7: You blew you missed them, little stupid rub down there
- 22:37Speaker 7: listening to that damn department. Well whatever, you know, people
- 22:41Speaker 7: get married at companies all the time. You can meet
- 22:43Speaker 7: your soul mate on your job. Now you listening to
- 22:46Speaker 7: them foods in the child because they're trying to keep
- 22:49Speaker 7: the little workplace happy. Now you're gonna sacrifice your happiness,
- 22:53Speaker 7: so so your boss be all right?
- 22:55Speaker 11: Uh missus, Beryl, what happened? You're awfully quiet right on correct, yeah,
- 23:05Speaker 11: and on the jaw.
- 23:06Speaker 18: We've been married nineteen years this year, but he was
- 23:09Speaker 18: not my supervisor.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Just want to say that clear, No, no, no, we
- 23:16Speaker 1: were equal. We were yeah, all right. I always like
- 23:20Speaker 1: to clo telem Yeah. I always like to refer to
- 23:23Speaker 1: the experts on these things.
- 23:26Speaker 11: Moving on to Regina and Trenton, who says my husband
- 23:29Speaker 11: and I had a bad argument and our windows were up.
- 23:32Speaker 1: My busy body.
- 23:34Speaker 11: The busybody old woman next door came over to me
- 23:36Speaker 11: after I put my son on the bus and said
- 23:38Speaker 11: I need to show my husband more respect.
- 23:41Speaker 1: I told her to mind her business. I feel bad
- 23:44Speaker 1: now did I tell her the right thing? Or should
- 23:46Speaker 1: I go apologize.
- 23:48Speaker 2: No, she do need to mind her bit.
- 23:51Speaker 13: That part.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Yeah, but yeah, that is.
- 23:59Speaker 7: Well you think you probably you know, if you called
- 24:01Speaker 7: her an old bit of battle axe, when then you
- 24:06Speaker 7: might want to apologize for that.
- 24:08Speaker 2: But other than that, now you don't owe her an apology.
- 24:12Speaker 2: But let it go for a week though, let it
- 24:14Speaker 2: let that soak in. You need that.
- 24:19Speaker 12: So raised.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Well, you do respect your elders, but elders gotta respect too.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Now go both ways. You know, she need to mind
- 24:32Speaker 2: her business.
- 24:32Speaker 7: You you could go and just like you know, just say, hey, look,
- 24:36Speaker 7: I was in a bad space when I put the
- 24:38Speaker 7: kid on the bus, and I really respect you and
- 24:40Speaker 7: thank you for your consideration. But if if our windows
- 24:44Speaker 7: wouldn't wasn't up, you wouldn't have anything to say. So
- 24:47Speaker 7: I'll be more conscious of that.
- 24:50Speaker 8: I like that.
- 24:51Speaker 2: She probably a nice old lady, some pie.
- 24:55Speaker 7: Or some help with that little ragged heir child, or
- 24:58Speaker 7: you don't need help, and she's gonna be there.
- 25:01Speaker 2: And then she knows, you know, she the neighborhood watching.
- 25:03Speaker 1: The busy body. Yeah, well you know, but she's gonna.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Keep people breaking in your house. She's gonna die now.
- 25:08Speaker 7: One she had the house looking at the window right right, right, Okay,
- 25:12Speaker 7: that's right, this pain of our street on a hundred this, Yeah,
- 25:19Speaker 7: she saw everything.
- 25:21Speaker 1: She got you in trouble, didn't she.
- 25:23Speaker 2: I could tell so many days.
- 25:26Speaker 7: That if you lie, we wait until we got a
- 25:28Speaker 7: little bit dark, and we put hammerheads and and m
- 25:31Speaker 7: ads in her tula bed and blew up her whole
- 25:35Speaker 7: day front darden on three. We sit there, seven carry
- 25:42Speaker 7: bombs and some eights off.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Your daddy beat your behind.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Yes, no, they didn't know it was us.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Oh, she didn't tell they had camera.
- 25:53Speaker 2: She told it wasn't no ring cameras or nothing like that.
- 25:56Speaker 2: And it was a job, you know. Yeah, that was
- 25:59Speaker 2: one lie I would definitely gonna hold too. I heard
- 26:05Speaker 2: that noise. I ain't know what it was. I got scared.
- 26:07Speaker 2: I ran in the ooh, I start lying without talking.
- 26:11Speaker 2: I probably started lying.
- 26:13Speaker 17: I know.
- 26:14Speaker 2: My first line was folk. Yeah, I probably I know
- 26:17Speaker 2: it too.
- 26:18Speaker 12: I was lying.
- 26:19Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 26:21Speaker 1: I have no idea. All right, we're gonna move on
- 26:26Speaker 1: to Carlin and Fort Wayne.
- 26:29Speaker 11: Carlin says I had sex with my pastor when I
- 26:32Speaker 11: was in my twenties, and he left me twenty five
- 26:35Speaker 11: thousand dollars in his will his widow made sure everyone
- 26:40Speaker 11: knew so I would be embarrassed. I'm thirty nine and married.
- 26:44Speaker 11: Now do I owe anyone an explanation? If so, how
- 26:48Speaker 11: do I explain it?
- 26:50Speaker 7: No, you don't say nothing. I don't know why he
- 26:52Speaker 7: left me the money. I know I was always kind
- 26:55Speaker 7: to him.
- 26:56Speaker 2: But I don't know.
- 26:57Speaker 1: I don't give me. That's a kid.
- 27:00Speaker 2: You know that sounds good right there, That's sounded if.
- 27:02Speaker 7: He ever needed somebody to do something around the church,
- 27:04Speaker 7: I would presented I was there.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Other than that, I have no idea. Why say, God,
- 27:10Speaker 2: I'm gonna tied and pay ten percent back as the
- 27:14Speaker 2: rest of them.
- 27:15Speaker 1: I'm talking, I'm gonna go to the mall, Okay.
- 27:22Speaker 2: I mean I mean, I mean me and my husband,
- 27:24Speaker 2: we're gonna go.
- 27:25Speaker 1: We're gonna take a couple, yeah.
- 27:27Speaker 2: And put these kids in that little program they wanted
- 27:31Speaker 2: up at the school. And then you know, thanks, gone,
- 27:34Speaker 2: what's she gonna tell me? If that's the same thing.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Give him the same the exact same her.
- 27:42Speaker 7: Then you're doing this at the church. But hey, whatever
- 27:45Speaker 7: the case, and then just bust out shouting.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Glory, let's go there.
- 27:54Speaker 2: You know, a husband want to know why if.
- 28:01Speaker 11: Yeah, well, uh, this is the last one, Steve. This
- 28:05Speaker 11: is from Onyx Onyx Indicator, love that name, Onyx. I've
- 28:09Speaker 11: been with this guy for four months and every time
- 28:11Speaker 11: we have sex he wants to be completely under the cover.
- 28:15Speaker 11: I mean like we're in a fort on top of
- 28:18Speaker 11: the bed. It's hot under there, and we can only
- 28:20Speaker 11: do one position under there?
- 28:22Speaker 1: Is this weird to you?
- 28:24Speaker 7: That's all he got, That's all he got. That's all
- 28:29Speaker 7: he got fortnight. Yeah, that's it, that's all he got.
- 28:35Speaker 7: One one move.
- 28:38Speaker 1: What's with the covers?
- 28:39Speaker 8: Though?
- 28:39Speaker 2: What is that about? You don't want to feel like
- 28:41Speaker 2: he's sneaking. It's so crazy.
- 28:46Speaker 1: What is he trying to hide under there?
- 28:48Speaker 7: Ain't they trying to hide? And you know it's it's
- 28:50Speaker 7: like ever since a little boy, he's been wanting to count.
- 28:54Speaker 7: So he's got to combine a workout. Yeah, camp can't
- 29:00Speaker 7: all they want and you you're gonna have to break
- 29:03Speaker 7: over him though, because that's how he.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, thank you, Cielo.
- 29:10Speaker 11: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 29:12Speaker 11: some entertainment news where you're right after it this.
- 29:15Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 29:17Speaker 12: Morning show.
- 29:20Speaker 11: Entertainers, lawmakers, clergy, academics, and Tidans of industry celebrated the
- 29:25Speaker 11: life of ninety six year old Harry Belafonte, remembering the
- 29:29Speaker 11: quote uncompromising black man who made America better. Mister Belafonte
- 29:35Speaker 11: passed away in his New York City home on Tuesday.
- 29:38Speaker 11: Reverend Al Sharpton said Harry Belafonte was a true mentor
- 29:42Speaker 11: and friend. I am heartbroken to hear of his death,
- 29:45Speaker 11: but inspired by the long, fruitful life he led. Sharpton
- 29:49Speaker 11: said in a statement, he was a culture changing entertainer,
- 29:53Speaker 11: a history changing activist, and an unmatched intellectual rest and power.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Mister b and I'm President.
- 30:00Speaker 11: Barack Obama remembered Bellafonte as a barrier breaking legend who
- 30:05Speaker 11: used his platform to lift others up. And all of
- 30:09Speaker 11: us here, of course at the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 30:11Speaker 11: send our deepest condolences to the Bellefonte family.
- 30:15Speaker 2: Wow, like her legend, bo.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Yeah, he touched a lot a lot of people, he
- 30:22Speaker 1: really really did.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:24Speaker 7: He's just major man, just a major player, and a
- 30:27Speaker 7: lot of young people don't know who he is or
- 30:29Speaker 7: what he did.
- 30:30Speaker 2: But he he moved the civil rights movement. He moved
- 30:34Speaker 2: as an activist.
- 30:36Speaker 7: He taught black people so many things and required so
- 30:41Speaker 7: many things of white America.
- 30:42Speaker 2: So he's way more than entertainment impact.
- 30:46Speaker 1: Yes, that's right, that's right. And in other entertainment news.
- 30:52Speaker 11: According to People Magazine, I didn't know this, Tony Braxton
- 30:56Speaker 11: came close to a massive heart attack. Tony was diagnosed
- 31:00Speaker 11: with autoimmune condition lupus back in two thousand and eight,
- 31:04Speaker 11: and she dismissed the chest pains she began suffering with
- 31:08Speaker 11: last year, attributing them to the grief over the death
- 31:11Speaker 11: of her sister Tracy. Tony eventually went to the doctor
- 31:15Speaker 11: and her left main coronary artery was eighty percent blocked.
- 31:21Speaker 11: Tony was shocked when she was told that she could
- 31:23Speaker 11: have had a massive heart attack and wouldn't have survived.
- 31:27Speaker 11: The eye opening health scare is why Tony Brexton is
- 31:30Speaker 11: spreading awareness. That may is Lupa's Awareness month. Wow, yeah,
- 31:38Speaker 11: may at all at all? And you can't tell, I mean,
- 31:41Speaker 11: you know by the outside of course, she looks great,
- 31:44Speaker 11: you know, but you just never know.
- 31:48Speaker 1: It again again, that's right, that's right. Yeah, So we're
- 31:54Speaker 1: glad she got checked and wow, yes, all right, and
- 31:59Speaker 1: the doctor not her heart was broken from her sister's. Yeah,
- 32:02Speaker 1: from Tracy's death.
- 32:04Speaker 11: Yeah, because that was heartbroken, heartbreaking, Yeah, that she passed
- 32:08Speaker 11: away so suddenly and then wow, she had her own issues,
- 32:12Speaker 11: all right, moving on to this story. Finally, in entertainment news,
- 32:17Speaker 11: Tyresee has been ordered by a judge in his child
- 32:21Speaker 11: custody hearing, Yeah, to pay his ex wife, Samantha Gibson
- 32:25Speaker 11: over six hundred thousand dollars for back child support and
- 32:29Speaker 11: employer fees. Yeah, Tyrese doesn't have to pay it all
- 32:33Speaker 11: at once. The judge set May fifteenth as the due
- 32:36Speaker 11: date for about two hundred and fifty eight thousand dollars
- 32:39Speaker 11: of it, but his attorney will file an appeal.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Help us, god, yeah, help us.
- 32:46Speaker 1: That's a lot, a lot of money.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Yeah, anybody.
- 32:51Speaker 9: Yeah, help us, Yeah, well help us with you don't
- 32:57Speaker 9: need help because he come here bolone.
- 33:02Speaker 2: Yeah, video load.
- 33:04Speaker 1: We're gonna hear about it. We're gonna all hear about it.
- 33:07Speaker 2: I told him when he put that album, I'll get ready.
- 33:11Speaker 11: Okay, So well, six hundred thousand dollars in total, it's
- 33:18Speaker 11: a lot of money.
- 33:19Speaker 2: God, dog man, what I mean what that number just
- 33:25Speaker 2: hit me?
- 33:26Speaker 1: Yeah, number over six hundred thousand over Yeah, So.
- 33:33Speaker 7: Let me help everybody understand because I've been I watched people.
- 33:38Speaker 2: You know, don't know baby need that much money.
- 33:41Speaker 7: That ain't what it is. That is not what child
- 33:45Speaker 7: support is. If you have a baby with a woman,
- 33:49Speaker 7: that baby, now, because he is yours or she is yours,
- 33:54Speaker 7: is now your responsibility and that baby is owed by
- 33:58Speaker 7: law the same lifestyle.
- 34:01Speaker 2: That you bought him or hurt into the world with.
- 34:05Speaker 7: You do not get to have a baby and go
- 34:09Speaker 7: live your life in the lime life, flying balling and
- 34:13Speaker 7: then put that baby over.
- 34:14Speaker 2: There on welfare system somewhere.
- 34:16Speaker 7: That ain't how the game work because having this baby
- 34:20Speaker 7: was your decision. So having that baby was your decision.
- 34:26Speaker 7: So the court's not finna let.
- 34:28Speaker 2: That go like that. And then when you when you
- 34:32Speaker 2: when you don't pay or haven't paid, they gonna come
- 34:36Speaker 2: get it.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Yeah, and there are penalties involved in that.
- 34:39Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 34:40Speaker 7: Well, but all y'all talking about, don't no baby need
- 34:44Speaker 7: that much money for dippers in school. That's not what
- 34:47Speaker 7: child support is. You bought a child into the world.
- 34:51Speaker 7: You are responsible for the welfare of that child. You
- 34:55Speaker 7: might as well just put your manhood pants on and
- 34:58Speaker 7: wear them, because this is what it is. You know,
- 35:00Speaker 7: everybody's talking about Kanye got to pay two million dollars.
- 35:03Speaker 7: That ain't nothing to Kanye. What y'all talking about. It's
- 35:07Speaker 7: just two million dollars, it's you'll do six billion out. Yeah, absolutely,
- 35:13Speaker 7: they had this two million.
- 35:15Speaker 11: It's like what two hundred thousand whatever? It is twenty
- 35:19Speaker 11: thousand to a billionaire.
- 35:21Speaker 7: You know, I know when you make one hundred thousand
- 35:26Speaker 7: dollars a year and you see somebody have to make pay,
- 35:29Speaker 7: make payment to six hundred thousand. Understand you had that,
- 35:33Speaker 7: but y'alls please understand that ain't the way it worked.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, all right, thank you, thank you for breaking
- 35:41Speaker 1: that down right. Yeah, his attorney will file an appeal.

- 36:29Speaker 11: aircraft while getting into an argument with a co passenger.
- 36:33Speaker 11: That's when the guy peede on him. When the flight

- 37:01Speaker 7: Now you you you don't even need the police to

- 37:32Speaker 7: a little while. Uh, this is your captain speaking up
- 37:37Speaker 7: like I have your attention. Please, I understand what you've
- 37:39Speaker 7: got to the stirring in the back of the plane.
- 37:43Speaker 7: To my understanding, Pastor is you're NATed on another passion here.
- 37:49Speaker 7: The reason we're serpents right now, So let full effect
- 37:54Speaker 7: of that ass whipping. We're gonna probably add another hour

- 38:18Speaker 19: to be served, water or anything like that. So please
- 38:22Speaker 19: you can have peanuts and sandwiches and things of that nature,
- 38:25Speaker 19: but there will feed no more drama. Yeah, Captain, I
- 38:34Speaker 19: understand that we're gonna cut out all this pe in
- 38:37Speaker 19: on this flag right we've got We've got twelve more
- 38:40Speaker 19: hours in and it's gonna be a minute, so just
- 38:44Speaker 19: packly go to sleep trying to doze off, or we'll
- 38:47Speaker 19: straighten this plate out showing enjoy the flight, doog.
- 38:50Speaker 2: We'll get back to you later on shot a flight.
- 38:53Speaker 11: But this is crazy, Captain, because this has happened before
- 38:56Speaker 11: on an American airline's flight back in March, when another
- 38:59Speaker 11: drunk passenger pete on a co passenger.
- 39:02Speaker 1: So what is going on here?

- 39:10Speaker 2: we'll get back to you with the results of what's going.
- 39:12Speaker 11: On coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour.
- 39:15Speaker 11: We'll check in Steve's voicemail eight seven seven twenty nine.
- 39:19Speaker 2: Steve.
- 39:20Speaker 11: Right after this you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. It
- 39:26Speaker 11: is time now to check Steve's voicemail and if you
- 39:28Speaker 11: would like to leave a message for Steve, call him
- 39:30Speaker 11: eight seven seven twenty nine Steve eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve,
- 39:34Speaker 11: you might just hear your call on the air. This one, Steve,
- 39:37Speaker 11: is from a substitute teacher in Montgomery, Alabama.
- 39:41Speaker 14: Hey, Steve, this is Adrian.
- 39:42Speaker 20: From Montgomery, Alabama. I just have a general question that
- 39:45Speaker 20: I've think that y'all could share with the radio land.
- 39:48Speaker 20: I just want to know what do you think it's
- 39:51Speaker 20: a difference between the kids today and in the last year,
- 39:54Speaker 20: well in the old generations, and what would you say
- 39:57Speaker 20: is needed in order for that to change, because we've
- 40:00Speaker 20: been seeing and hearing about so many dealts, disrespect, all
- 40:04Speaker 20: kinds of things that I just don't remember seeing growing up.
- 40:06Speaker 20: And I'm only thirty four.
- 40:07Speaker 21: So as the two teachers, I've seen it.
- 40:10Speaker 20: I've witnessed it, and it's just the discuss it's just
- 40:14Speaker 20: disgusting to the honest. So I just wanted to, you know,
- 40:17Speaker 20: maybe spread this and try to figure out what the
- 40:20Speaker 20: issue is.
- 40:22Speaker 7: Well, two things that I know of when they remove
- 40:25Speaker 7: prayer from school. See, when you remove prayer, that's an
- 40:30Speaker 7: invitation for everything else. And then you just have an
- 40:35Speaker 7: overall loss of respect for people who are older than you.
- 40:42Speaker 7: When you remove prayer, and then you take away respect.
- 40:48Speaker 7: It's the wild, wild West, and here we go. And
- 40:52Speaker 7: like that young lady was saying that, that to me
- 40:54Speaker 7: is the overriding problem, because look, you can't reprimend these
- 40:59Speaker 7: kids anymore.
- 41:00Speaker 2: They stripped people in authority.
- 41:03Speaker 7: They were stripped all their authority and giving it over
- 41:07Speaker 7: to a child who does not have the bandwidth to
- 41:11Speaker 7: make the decisions that they are being allowed to make.
- 41:14Speaker 7: You just don't have the bandwidth for it. Yet you
- 41:17Speaker 7: don't even know.
- 41:18Speaker 11: Who you are life experience, yes, yes, and that disrespect
- 41:23Speaker 11: that girl.
- 41:24Speaker 18: Remember that video where the girl hit the teacher because
- 41:26Speaker 18: she took her phone. She recently sentenced to a year. No,
- 41:33Speaker 18: the girl that hit the teachers. So there's some anger
- 41:36Speaker 18: issues to disrespect.
- 41:38Speaker 1: What is going on with these kids, mate.
- 41:40Speaker 7: It's you and it's parenting too, yes, because you we
- 41:47Speaker 7: got too many parents today who are trying to be
- 41:50Speaker 7: their children's friend instead of the parent. And so now
- 41:55Speaker 7: y'all going to the mall, dressing the light, talking, laughing,
- 41:58Speaker 7: talking to people, letting your baby because why you in present?
- 42:02Speaker 7: You can't cuss around me as much as I cuss
- 42:05Speaker 7: and to you and till you paying bills. We as wool.
- 42:09Speaker 7: My father told me and my brother you bet not
- 42:12Speaker 7: ever let your blankety blank mama. Hear no blankety blank
- 42:17Speaker 7: coming out your blanket mouth.
- 42:20Speaker 1: He was talking to us like that.
- 42:22Speaker 7: You're right, righty, and he was clear about it. So
- 42:26Speaker 7: me and my brothers as much as we cussed when
- 42:29Speaker 7: it came to my mama. Man, oh no, oh no, no,
- 42:32Speaker 7: no on listen to me, man, I'm sixty six years old.
- 42:37Speaker 7: Do you know when I'm talking to old people I
- 42:39Speaker 7: refer to them. Yes, ma'am, no, ma'am, yes, yes, of
- 42:42Speaker 7: course this day. Yeah, and I damn an older person.
- 42:46Speaker 1: Yeah, that's how we were raised. The kids today aren't
- 42:49Speaker 1: raised like that.
- 42:51Speaker 2: I can't tell you how many kids try to talk
- 42:52Speaker 2: to Steve, say your ass, I'm not Steve, I'm mister Harvey.
- 42:58Speaker 2: Hello nine talking about.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Some Yes, we equal exactly Steve.
- 43:06Speaker 2: But it's not talk that's the problem.
- 43:08Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right. It's like we were.
- 43:10Speaker 2: Yeah. Talk, it was different, so automatic. We just knew that.
- 43:15Speaker 18: Why these parents today teaching their children what we learned
- 43:19Speaker 18: generation the generation some of.
- 43:21Speaker 2: Them, some of them are missing it. And then we
- 43:25Speaker 2: in the me, me, ME, I, I I generation.
- 43:27Speaker 7: This Instagram promote me and I and to whether point,
- 43:33Speaker 7: you are the most important person in the uniforse verse.
- 43:37Speaker 2: According to Instagram. You don't even look at yourself. I
- 43:40Speaker 2: got it.
- 43:41Speaker 7: If I got somebody who works for me, though very
- 43:45Speaker 7: very talented, but in their mind they meet already what.
- 43:51Speaker 1: Excuse me?
- 43:52Speaker 11: What?
- 43:52Speaker 22: No?
- 43:53Speaker 2: And I keep telling them, bro listening to me, I
- 43:56Speaker 2: don't under it takes a long time to get here.
- 43:59Speaker 2: You can't and you just pay the man respect that
- 44:02Speaker 2: you that you.
- 44:02Speaker 1: That you haven't heard, Okay, Okay, it's good conversation.

- 52:10Speaker 7: It just really it almost irked me to see a
- 52:13Speaker 7: man seemed to me like you're jealous to tell me
- 52:15Speaker 7: you know the picture gonna change, It should change, you know,

- 53:46Speaker 11: please submit your Strawberry Letter to Steve HARVEYFM dot com
- 53:49Speaker 11: and click submit Strawberry Letter. We could be reading your
- 53:52Speaker 11: letter live on the air, just like we're gonna read
- 53:55Speaker 11: this one right here, right now, and you never know,
- 53:58Speaker 11: this one right here could be your.
- 54:00Speaker 13: Mm hm, You never know, buckle Loven, hold on tight.
- 54:03Speaker 13: We got it for you, And here it is Strawbery.
- 54:05Speaker 11: Letta subject we have nothing in common with her, Dear
- 54:09Speaker 11: Stephen Shirley. In our friends group, there are three married
- 54:13Speaker 11: couples that hang out together. My brother in law got
- 54:16Speaker 11: divorced two years ago and he felt awkward being the
- 54:19Speaker 11: only single person in the group, so he stopped hanging
- 54:22Speaker 11: with us. We are planning to go on our annual
- 54:24Speaker 11: summer trip to the Cayman Islands in June, and we've
- 54:27Speaker 11: invited my brother in law. So my brother in law
- 54:30Speaker 11: brought his new chick as in chickadee or baby bird
- 54:34Speaker 11: to our house so my husband and I could meet her.
- 54:37Speaker 11: He's forty two and she's twenty eight. But her age
- 54:42Speaker 11: isn't the issue. It's her bird brain that's the problem.
- 54:46Speaker 11: She even sounds like a little bird. After a while,
- 54:49Speaker 11: she had no stance on racial injustice, the upcoming presidential race,
- 54:54Speaker 11: or inflation. She said that none of that affects her
- 54:57Speaker 11: because she doesn't watch the news, and she does all
- 55:00Speaker 11: all of her shopping online. My husband and I were
- 55:02Speaker 11: trying not to laugh, and my brother in law was
- 55:05Speaker 11: making faces at us, trying to get us to stop clowning.
- 55:08Speaker 11: She's a pretty girl, and she knew a lot about
- 55:11Speaker 11: clip ons for curly hair and a rotel dip recipes
- 55:15Speaker 11: she saw on TikTok.
- 55:17Speaker 1: But that is about it. It's obvious why my brother
- 55:20Speaker 1: in law is dating this woman.
- 55:22Speaker 11: And a few days after their visit, my husband sent
- 55:24Speaker 11: a group text to our married couples group telling everyone
- 55:28Speaker 11: that his brother would be joining us on our trip.
- 55:30Speaker 11: I was pissed, so I responded to let the group
- 55:33Speaker 11: know that my brother in law's new chick will be
- 55:35Speaker 11: coming with him. I know my girls, and we don't
- 55:38Speaker 11: have and we do not have anything at all in
- 55:41Speaker 11: common with this young and the other wives don't want
- 55:44Speaker 11: this unmarried woman in the house. Why do we have
- 55:47Speaker 11: to entertain a woman that isn't going to be around long.
- 55:50Speaker 11: My husband knows how I feel, but he won't tell
- 55:53Speaker 11: his brother that she's not welcome.
- 55:55Speaker 1: Should I tell his brother?
- 55:58Speaker 13: Uh?
- 55:59Speaker 11: What is all this judgment and this ridicule of this
- 56:02Speaker 11: young woman about? I mean, is this a vacation or
- 56:06Speaker 11: is this a test, some sort of final exam. You
- 56:09Speaker 11: just met this woman.
- 56:11Speaker 1: Give her a break.
- 56:11Speaker 11: She doesn't she doesn't know any of this. Okay, she
- 56:16Speaker 11: doesn't have to know all the stuff that's going on
- 56:19Speaker 11: just to go on a trip with you guys. Now, admittedly,
- 56:23Speaker 11: maybe she should be aware of what's going on in
- 56:25Speaker 11: the world, but she's got Instagram. She knows what she
- 56:29Speaker 11: needs to know at her age. I guess she said
- 56:31Speaker 11: she doesn't watch the news. A lot of people don't
- 56:33Speaker 11: watch the news. But and anyway, this is not a
- 56:36Speaker 11: requirement to go on a vacation. You're supposed to be
- 56:40Speaker 11: having fun. I think you guys are a tough crowd.
- 56:43Speaker 11: You need to loosen up a bit. I mean, she's
- 56:45Speaker 11: not dating you. She's dating your brother in law. You've
- 56:48Speaker 11: already gossiped about her with the other ladies on the trip.
- 56:51Speaker 11: You don't have to entertain her. She's dating your brother
- 56:55Speaker 11: in law, so he'll make sure she has a good time. Okay,
- 56:57Speaker 11: that's not your job. Anyway. We all know, we all
- 57:01Speaker 11: know the real reason you don't want her there. It's
- 57:04Speaker 11: what you said. You don't want this unmarried, younger woman
- 57:08Speaker 11: around your husband's that's it. In a nutshell, You and
- 57:11Speaker 11: your girlfriend sound like a bunch of old, busybodies, bitter busybodies.
- 57:15Speaker 1: I say, stop hating, give this young woman a chance
- 57:18Speaker 1: and make her feel welcome. What is wrong with that?
- 57:21Speaker 11: What you guys are doing is mean trying to uninvite her.
- 57:24Speaker 11: I mean, where are your manners? Why would you treat
- 57:27Speaker 11: a guest this way? You need to stay out of
- 57:30Speaker 11: your brother in law's business and be gracious to him
- 57:32Speaker 11: and his girl unless they give you a reason to
- 57:35Speaker 11: act otherwise, Go and enjoy your trip.
- 57:37Speaker 1: Leave them alone, Steve.
- 57:40Speaker 2: We have nothing in common with her. He do, right,
- 57:46Speaker 2: he do?
- 57:47Speaker 7: I agree with everything Shereley said. So it's gonna be
- 57:51Speaker 7: hard for me to find an angle here, but I try. Okay,
- 57:58Speaker 7: In our friends group there are three men couples that
- 58:00Speaker 7: hang out together. Your brother in law got divorced. That's
- 58:04Speaker 7: your husband's brother.
- 58:05Speaker 2: He felt awkward being the only single person in the group,
- 58:08Speaker 2: so he stopped hanging with you.
- 58:09Speaker 7: There you go, ain't no problem. He don't want to
- 58:12Speaker 7: be the seventh wheel, sixth wheel.
- 58:14Speaker 2: Whatever it is.
- 58:15Speaker 7: We're planning to go on our annual summer trip to Cayman,
- 58:18Speaker 7: Islands in June. Okay, we've invited my brother in law.
- 58:23Speaker 7: So my brother in law brought his new chick. Now
- 58:25Speaker 7: you invited this man, but now he don't want to
- 58:29Speaker 7: go on the trip. Everybody got somebody I'd have been
- 58:31Speaker 7: to the Camans. Ain't nobody over there to meet. I'm
- 58:33Speaker 7: telling you this Brazil.
- 58:38Speaker 1: Wow.
- 58:38Speaker 2: Now he could have went to Brazil by hisself and
- 58:40Speaker 2: been just fine. Ain't nobody to meet in the Camans.
- 58:46Speaker 7: Beautiful place, I strongly suggest to vich cause the hotel
- 58:50Speaker 7: it is wonderful. They got a nine hole golf course
- 58:54Speaker 7: that you can walk to every day and just play
- 58:57Speaker 7: it twice. That will gets your eighteens. Is very challenging.
- 58:59Speaker 7: It's hard to coast off, is hard.
- 59:01Speaker 17: To me in.
- 59:02Speaker 7: So now it ain't nobody over there, so he won't
- 59:04Speaker 7: take somebody. Y'all invited him on the summer trip. So
- 59:08Speaker 7: your brother in law brought his new chick as a
- 59:12Speaker 7: chick of d or a baby bird to our house
- 59:15Speaker 7: so my husband and I could meet her. He's forty two,
- 59:18Speaker 7: she's twenty eight. That ain't that's fourteen years. Ain't bad.
- 59:25Speaker 7: She's twenty eight, she grown, he's forty two. But her
- 59:29Speaker 7: age isn't the issue. It's her bird brain that's the problem.
- 59:33Speaker 7: She even sounds like a little bird after Why that
- 59:35Speaker 7: ain't the problem, that little twenty eight year old thing?
- 59:39Speaker 2: Fine? His hell flat stumba up? Oh no, it ain't
- 59:46Speaker 2: had no kids yet. Skin smooth body Say that again? Body?
- 59:59Speaker 2: Bang it.
- 1:00:02Speaker 17: Now?
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: You trying to put it on her brain? Oh it's start,
- 1:00:05Speaker 7: would it be? But it ain't the brain, it's her body.
- 1:00:11Speaker 7: Help bud.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: All right, hold that thought, Steve.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: Beauty and her booty right there.
- 1:00:19Speaker 11: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 1:00:22Speaker 11: twenty three minutes after the hour, the subject we have
- 1:00:25Speaker 11: nothing in common with her.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:30Speaker 12: You're listening Morning show.
- 1:00:34Speaker 11: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter,
- 1:00:36Speaker 11: the subject we have nothing in common with her?
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: Nothing?
- 1:00:40Speaker 7: Oh this woman? They got a far and free in
- 1:00:45Speaker 7: group of three married couples hang out together. Your brother
- 1:00:48Speaker 7: in law he got divorced a couple of years ago,
- 1:00:50Speaker 7: so he felt awkward being the only single person. He
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: quit hanging out. So you all are planning to going
- 1:00:58Speaker 7: on y'all's annual trip to the Cayman Islands, in June,
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: and we've invited my brother in law.
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: Y'all invited him. So now your brother in law bought
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: his new chick.
- 1:01:09Speaker 7: As in chickadee or bird baby tie house to my
- 1:01:13Speaker 7: husband and I could meet her. We going on the trip.
- 1:01:16Speaker 7: Just want you to get to know her because she coming.
- 1:01:18Speaker 7: He forty two, she twenty eight. But her age ain't
- 1:01:22Speaker 7: the issue. It's her bird brain that's the problem. She
- 1:01:24Speaker 7: even sounds like a little buried after a while, or
- 1:01:27Speaker 7: ain't got nothing to do with her brain. It's that body,
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: that little girl banging, man, the little girl, the little
- 1:01:35Speaker 7: girl strong. She's standing up in there, shoulders back, arching
- 1:01:38Speaker 7: her back, shoulders back.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: It ain't the brain. It's the body, all right.
- 1:01:45Speaker 7: It's just the legs. It's when she crossed her legs.
- 1:01:50Speaker 7: She got pretty feet, flat stomach and that body banging. Lord,
- 1:01:57Speaker 7: now you gonna put it on brain. She has no
- 1:02:01Speaker 7: stance on racial issue. She could be from an interracial family.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: You never know.
- 1:02:08Speaker 7: Then you said she has no stance on racial injustice,
- 1:02:12Speaker 7: the upcoming presidential race, or inflation. I don't have no
- 1:02:17Speaker 7: opinion on inflation, my damn self, nor have I ever
- 1:02:22Speaker 7: what inflation got do with me.
- 1:02:24Speaker 17: It is.
- 1:02:24Speaker 7: It costs what it costs. They don't put this percentage
- 1:02:27Speaker 7: on it. If you don't want it, you can't get it.
- 1:02:29Speaker 7: You got to buy. So I don't care about it.
- 1:02:31Speaker 7: And the upcoming presidential election, what difference it makes, it's
- 1:02:35Speaker 7: gonna be Donald Trump gets Biden.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: What ch'all want to talk about?
- 1:02:39Speaker 7: Yeah, she said that none of that affects her because
- 1:02:42Speaker 7: she doesn't watch the news and she does all of
- 1:02:44Speaker 7: her shopping online. Yes, yes, see right there, that's this
- 1:02:48Speaker 7: new generation. That's where they act. They don't get their
- 1:02:51Speaker 7: news from seeing in like you. My husband and I
- 1:02:55Speaker 7: were trying not to laugh, and my brother in law
- 1:02:57Speaker 7: was making face out of us, trying to get us
- 1:02:59Speaker 7: to stop.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Then she didn't. Here she goes she's a pretty girl.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: Oh I know, I know she find as hell. I
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: know how this is a girl right here. Strong.
- 1:03:11Speaker 7: She's strong, and she knew a lot about clip ins
- 1:03:14Speaker 7: for curly hair and row tail dip recipes she saw
- 1:03:18Speaker 7: on TikTok. But that's about it. Okay, it's obvious my
- 1:03:22Speaker 7: brother in law's dating this woman. It's obvious why my
- 1:03:26Speaker 7: brother in laws dating this woman?
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: Okay, I know that. Okay, So that's why he dating
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: up Now, y'all ask him on the trip, and this
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: is who he bringing.
- 1:03:37Speaker 7: A few days after their visit, my husband's in a
- 1:03:39Speaker 7: group text I married a couple group telling everybody that
- 1:03:42Speaker 7: his brother would be joining us on the trip.
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: This is his brother. I was pissed. Why you pissed?
- 1:03:49Speaker 7: Because he bringing her. Y'all gonna be out the beach.
- 1:03:52Speaker 7: She gonna be on that beach with that body. She
- 1:03:55Speaker 7: gonna be on that beach with her babe and suit
- 1:03:57Speaker 7: on her little fire and he with them little clip ears,
- 1:04:01Speaker 7: all that curly hell. You know your husband's gonna be going.
- 1:04:08Speaker 14: What what.
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: Her time she come out, they're gonna be hitting each other,
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: look at it. Uh huh. That's what the real problem is.
- 1:04:18Speaker 7: And what So I responded to let the group that
- 1:04:20Speaker 7: my brother in law's new chick would be coming with him.
- 1:04:24Speaker 7: I know my girl, and we don't have anything at
- 1:04:26Speaker 7: all in coming with this young man. Okay you might not,
- 1:04:30Speaker 7: so the otherwives don't want this unmarried woman in the house.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: She not coming to your house. The unmarried woman.
- 1:04:40Speaker 7: Wasn't y'all the chick at one point, wasn't y'all just
- 1:04:44Speaker 7: dating y'all's husband at one point. Now, why all of
- 1:04:48Speaker 7: a sudden, the requirement is to already be married. Y'all
- 1:04:52Speaker 7: know what y'all got to do to get married? Quit
- 1:04:54Speaker 7: playing this game mistreating this young girl? Do we have
- 1:04:58Speaker 7: to want entertain a woman that isn't going to be
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: around long? You don't know that My husband knows how
- 1:05:04Speaker 7: we feel, but he won't tell his brother she's not welcome.
- 1:05:07Speaker 7: Why she not welcome? Should I tell his brother? You're
- 1:05:11Speaker 7: gonna you're gonna mess up your relationship with your husband.
- 1:05:13Speaker 7: You don't go to your husband's brother to straighten him out,
- 1:05:16Speaker 7: by the damn thing. Now, let me explain something to you.
- 1:05:20Speaker 7: You don't own can kon? I mean, excuse me. You
- 1:05:23Speaker 7: don't own the Caymans. You don't own the Caymans. This
- 1:05:27Speaker 7: ain't your trip. Your trip is you and your husband's
- 1:05:31Speaker 7: portion up. The girl is gonna be sleeping in his room,
- 1:05:36Speaker 7: and Lord, Lord, have mercy, what's gonna be going.
- 1:05:40Speaker 6: On over there?
- 1:05:43Speaker 13: An?
- 1:05:44Speaker 7: Come on, look that y'all's husband gonna see on his face,
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: gonna explain it all?
- 1:05:54Speaker 10: Happiness, happiness, little birdie, fine, this hell, little Bertie got
- 1:06:00Speaker 10: all y'all beat y'all, I don't want the competition.
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: Oh she might not know nothing. She damn show looked

- 1:08:45Speaker 1: Could we use him?
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: Yeah? But he gonna be gone though, Bryce Young, he
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: gone number one, number one.
- 1:08:52Speaker 9: Yeah, cause we're gonna mess it up. I know we're
- 1:08:53Speaker 9: gonna we're gonna draft somebody. Yeah, y'all gonna mess it
- 1:08:55Speaker 9: up cause y'all y'all draft like Cleveland. Yeah, we're gonna draft.
- 1:08:58Speaker 9: We're gonna draft somebody named Jason A Mecca for out
- 1:09:00Speaker 9: of Tornch University.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: I ain't never heard of his aim.
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: We don't know who is all the school?
- 1:09:05Speaker 9: How the school? He ain't got no film on ESPN.
- 1:09:09Speaker 9: He never played a televised game. We ain't never seen him.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: And he's number two. I many good picks we got
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: after number two? Oh man, we got uh, we got
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: we got. Y'all got two picks.
- 1:09:22Speaker 9: Yeah, we got, We got it because we'll see what
- 1:09:24Speaker 9: happened though, we're just gonna find out.
- 1:09:25Speaker 7: We may not what y'all need to do, but he
- 1:09:27Speaker 7: ain't gonna come, so we canna stop all that. What
- 1:09:29Speaker 7: y'all need to go up there and get Lamar Gonnaign
- 1:09:34Speaker 7: and then take that pick and get you uh uh
- 1:09:38Speaker 7: a left tackle.
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: We need all of that up. We're gonna see what happened.
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: I'm excited. We just don't see. I know were gonna
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: mess it up here. We ain't even gonna draft nobody
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: this year, so.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: I thank you, Junior.
- 1:09:51Speaker 11: Coming up at the top of the hour, someone on
- 1:09:53Speaker 11: social media, Steve needs some advice.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: I don't want my husband to work from home. We'll
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: talk about it right after you're.
- 1:10:01Speaker 12: Listening Hard Morning Show.
- 1:10:05Speaker 11: Livetta on Facebook rights my job let me go fully
- 1:10:09Speaker 11: remote in twenty twenty, and it's worked out pretty well.
- 1:10:12Speaker 11: I had an infant at home at the time, and
- 1:10:15Speaker 11: it's allowed us to avoid paying for childcare. Over the
- 1:10:18Speaker 11: last couple of years, I've gotten into a groove and
- 1:10:20Speaker 11: I am able to get my work done, spend time
- 1:10:23Speaker 11: with my daughter, and take care of the house well.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: Now my husband has.
- 1:10:28Speaker 11: An opportunity to work from home, and he wants to
- 1:10:30Speaker 11: do it, but I really don't want him to. I
- 1:10:33Speaker 11: feel like having him at home all day is going
- 1:10:35Speaker 11: to throw my whole system into chaos. And I don't
- 1:10:37Speaker 11: even know how to approach talking to him out of
- 1:10:40Speaker 11: working from home. Do you have any advice for me?
- 1:10:43Speaker 11: This is from Levetta Steve, she needs some advice. Helka
- 1:10:47Speaker 11: help you?
- 1:10:48Speaker 7: Okay, I have no suggestions whatsoever. Yeah, Risk, I'll throw
- 1:10:53Speaker 7: you off. But now he has an opportunity to work
- 1:10:56Speaker 7: from home. Who wants to go to work when you
- 1:10:59Speaker 7: can already being one? So you know, and and you
- 1:11:08Speaker 7: he watching you make a success of it. Now he
- 1:11:10Speaker 7: got the same opportunity. It may afford you even more
- 1:11:16Speaker 7: time because now you might be able to split up
- 1:11:21Speaker 7: the child keeping portion of it and actually get away
- 1:11:26Speaker 7: a little bit during the day, so it could be
- 1:11:28Speaker 7: an advantage. I have no suggestions for you.
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: Good luck. Next question, well, all right, chief Love officer,
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: don't know everything. Go ahead, all right, Steve.
- 1:11:41Speaker 11: This one's from Dominic on Steve Harvey FM. Dominic says,
- 1:11:44Speaker 11: it long last my wife and I had made plans
- 1:11:47Speaker 11: to go on a vacation, but there is now a downside.
- 1:11:50Speaker 11: Somehow my wife got guilted into inviting her sister along,
- 1:11:54Speaker 11: who gave birth to a baby girl six months ago
- 1:11:57Speaker 11: and has been complaining because she hasn't gotten to go
- 1:12:00Speaker 11: anywhere for a year and a half. How do I
- 1:12:03Speaker 11: get to my wife to resend that invite?
- 1:12:09Speaker 17: Yeah?
- 1:12:09Speaker 7: Once again, if the baby ain't coming, you know, just
- 1:12:13Speaker 7: let your sister come, right, you know, dog, go go
- 1:12:19Speaker 7: find your cigar lounge over there. After baby coming, go
- 1:12:24Speaker 7: to the hell. No, cancel the trip, dog, that's gonna
- 1:12:31Speaker 7: be hell. It's like with a baby the carriage to
- 1:12:36Speaker 7: see you can't go to dinner, you know. Yeah, that's
- 1:12:41Speaker 7: what I said, the flight so I mean, you know, look,
- 1:12:45Speaker 7: just look, cancel the trip.
- 1:12:47Speaker 11: Dog.
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:12:48Speaker 7: If the baby ain't coming, then go on vacation, have
- 1:12:52Speaker 7: a couple of dinners with your wife alone. Invite your
- 1:12:55Speaker 7: sisters to a couple of dinners, and then find yourself
- 1:12:59Speaker 7: a cigar ball, go out on that beach, smoke one.
- 1:13:02Speaker 7: Let them walk and talk, and these sisters give him
- 1:13:05Speaker 7: some sister time, you know, and and and brother. That's it,
- 1:13:10Speaker 7: but you can make the best of it. It's a
- 1:13:12Speaker 7: sister that's coming, so yeah, they gonna want to talk
- 1:13:15Speaker 7: a lot. But then that give you some time for
- 1:13:17Speaker 7: some me time, unless you just like being stuck up
- 1:13:20Speaker 7: under your wife all the damn time.
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: You stupid what yell you.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: You didn't really mean.
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: I met every word of it from the breath of
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: my soul. Dog. Everybody needs some me time, don't you?
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: Who you are. How much you love nobody. It's good
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: to be able to go do. Man, your sister, your mom,
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: your your your wife. Gonna take her sisters to the spa. Yeah, man,
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: let them go while they have to spark yourself sing,
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: I go sit at the pool, put your glasses on,
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: enjoy the scenery. A lot of scenery around the pool.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: Yeah. But if the baby is coming, he gonna be
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: the baby, little baby.
- 1:14:04Speaker 23: It ain't nowhere in the hell castle. Oh wow, yeah,
- 1:14:15Speaker 23: oh wow, that's gonna be a lot a baby. Yeah,
- 1:14:19Speaker 23: it's six months bowl baby. That's what makes me think
- 1:14:22Speaker 23: the baby is coming.
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: Six month baby baby.
- 1:14:25Speaker 9: Teeth, Oh, that baby coming, teeth too, welling the whole time.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, where's the horror line?
- 1:14:38Speaker 12: No baby or jem.
- 1:14:41Speaker 11: All right, guys, coming up in twenty minutes after the hour,
- 1:14:44Speaker 11: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: Right after this.
- 1:14:48Speaker 12: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:53Speaker 11: All right, guys, here's some good news for a change
- 1:14:55Speaker 11: about gun control. The state of Washington's Democratic governor A
- 1:15:00Speaker 11: Insley on Tuesday signed three gun regulation bills into law,
- 1:15:05Speaker 11: including one that bans the making, purchase, and importation of
- 1:15:10Speaker 11: assault weapons while surrounded by the families of shooting victims.
- 1:15:15Speaker 11: Governor Insley said, no one needs an AR fifteen to
- 1:15:18Speaker 11: protect your family, true, no one. Okay, you only needed
- 1:15:23Speaker 11: to kill other families. Other bills passed require safety training
- 1:15:27Speaker 11: for gun users, as well as a ten day waiting
- 1:15:29Speaker 11: period to purchase a gun. And we hope other states
- 1:15:32Speaker 11: will follow Washington's lead. Yes, it's about time someone did something. Yeah.
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: Right, Finally, truer words have never been to Yeah.
- 1:15:44Speaker 11: No one's yeah, saving lives, that's what it's about.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: Yeah, And it's some kind of It's not just thoughts
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: and prayers. Here's the governor.
- 1:15:55Speaker 18: Here's a Democratic leader who was trying to make a change,
- 1:15:59Speaker 18: who's doing.
- 1:16:00Speaker 11: Words into actions, absolutely and not just talking.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: Yes, we wish other states will follow lead.
- 1:16:07Speaker 11: And absolutely how many people have to die for you
- 1:16:11Speaker 11: all to do something something?
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: You gotta do something, You gotta do something. So thank you. Working.
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: It's not working what we're doing. What you're not doing
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: is not working. Which you're not doing. Isn't that obvious?
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: All right? Well, thank you to Democratic Governor Jay Ainsley.
- 1:16:27Speaker 11: This just happened on Tuesday, all right, coming up at
- 1:16:30Speaker 11: thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll play around of
- 1:16:33Speaker 11: would you rather? Right after this, you're listening hard Morning show,
- 1:16:40Speaker 11: It's time now for a round of would you rather?
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: Would you rather?
- 1:16:44Speaker 12: Guys?
- 1:16:44Speaker 11: Would you rather stub your baby toe once a week?
- 1:16:47Speaker 11: Or would you rather just lose a thumb? Stub your
- 1:16:50Speaker 11: baby toe once a week or lose the thumb.
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: We just got to keep stubbing the hell out of them.
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: Lose a limb. No, I'm gonna go and deal with
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: just toe. I'm wear some boots, some steel toe tomorrow.
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: This bad boy gonna have so much pad on it.
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: You're gonna wrap it up.
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: Wrap that baby toe up. Yeah, we take that baby
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: toe off. We're not taking that thumb.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: Be unbalanced.
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: I work through that.
- 1:17:20Speaker 7: I'll go sit down somewhere. Can Yeah, but you button
- 1:17:24Speaker 7: your last shirt. You take that thumb, allright?
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: Would you would you rather be.
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: Meg gonna have a real problem going to the bathroom
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: without that thumb?
- 1:17:40Speaker 11: Would you rather be bitten by ten mosquitoes or stung
- 1:17:43Speaker 11: by five bees?
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: Mosquitoes? Really by ten mosquitos, yet you're stung?
- 1:17:52Speaker 6: No suck.
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: Joke.
- 1:17:55Speaker 11: Okay, that was easy. Would you rather drink a gallon
- 1:17:57Speaker 11: of milk within an hour? Or eat two jars of
- 1:18:00Speaker 11: pickles within an hour.
- 1:18:02Speaker 9: Give me pickles, pickles, Jerry that much milk, Yeah, No,
- 1:18:11Speaker 9: I'm gonna trink that milk.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: Drink milk.
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna make that damn milk. I ain't trying
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: to choke these pickles down.
- 1:18:18Speaker 7: You don't even understand what's gonna happens.
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: Drink the juice.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I love pickles, dill especially, Yeah, lacto t.
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: So I drink his milk. Yeah, I ain't supposed to
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: be having there either.
- 1:18:31Speaker 7: But when I ain't gonna need these two jaws a day,
- 1:18:34Speaker 7: I think y'all understand that's not a lot of a
- 1:18:38Speaker 7: city going down your throat. I don't think you understand
- 1:18:41Speaker 7: what the pickles gonna do to you. Your system is
- 1:18:44Speaker 7: gonna be jacked up.
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:18:47Speaker 11: Would you rather have a permanent splinter under your big toe,
- 1:18:50Speaker 11: your big toenail, you know? Or would you rather have
- 1:18:53Speaker 11: a permanent paper cut on your finger? So splinter on
- 1:18:56Speaker 11: your under your toenail.
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: You can give me that damn paper cut.
- 1:19:00Speaker 7: Yeah, Oh yeah, you're not gonna understand that splinter under
- 1:19:03Speaker 7: your toe nail.
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: No, we gotta get these tweeks. We don't get that
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: out of you're talking about a bad foot.
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: Now, yeah, yeah, all right.
- 1:19:15Speaker 11: Would you rather have someone tell you the brutal truth
- 1:19:18Speaker 11: or have them lie to you to protect your feelings?
- 1:19:21Speaker 17: Oh?
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: You protect? Yeah, to me, because I'm gonna lie to you.
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: So but you don't want the truth, the truth that
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: serves no purpose in your life.
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: I don't need just overrated, get it and spare my.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Feelings because I'm gonna lie to you.
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I was thinking about you all night. I was
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: thinking about you all night.
- 1:19:51Speaker 11: Coming up in forty nine minutes after the hour, it's
- 1:19:54Speaker 11: our last break of the day, and we'll keept some
- 1:19:56Speaker 11: closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: Right after this.
- 1:20:00Speaker 12: You're listening morning show.
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: Here we are with just one more thing and your
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: closing remarks. What you have for us today, sir.
- 1:20:09Speaker 7: Today, I want to share something inspirational to all of you. Again,
- 1:20:15Speaker 7: I want you all to understand some It's not that
- 1:20:18Speaker 7: I know everything, because I don't, but I have been
- 1:20:22Speaker 7: through quite a bit. My life has been a walking testimonial.
- 1:20:29Speaker 7: If I'm allowed to say that, I am a walking
- 1:20:32Speaker 7: testimony of the power of prayer, what prayer can do
- 1:20:37Speaker 7: to change a person. I am a walking testament of
- 1:20:42Speaker 7: what grace and mercy is. Because God has forgiven me
- 1:20:47Speaker 7: thousands of times. He has poured into my life above
- 1:20:52Speaker 7: and beyond anything that I ever really imagined I have.
- 1:20:57Speaker 7: You know, it amazes me when people say always knew
- 1:20:59Speaker 7: I be here. I can't say that, because how can
- 1:21:03Speaker 7: I say I always knew i'd be here when I
- 1:21:05Speaker 7: didn't even know here existed. I had imagined some things,
- 1:21:11Speaker 7: but I am beyond what I was capable of imagining
- 1:21:15Speaker 7: back as a child.
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: What how would I know any of this? And so
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: what I want to talk to you all about is
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: a couple of things that it takes to become successful,
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: and if you're willing to do a couple of things,
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: you can be successful.
- 1:21:34Speaker 7: One of the things is first things First, the Bible
- 1:21:39Speaker 7: says a man without a dream or vision shall perish.
- 1:21:42Speaker 7: So first thing, you gotta want something. You gotta have
- 1:21:47Speaker 7: some dreams. But after you have these dreams, you have
- 1:21:53Speaker 7: to convert the dream into goals. The only way to
- 1:21:59Speaker 7: convert a dream into a goal is to start planning
- 1:22:04Speaker 7: how to make the dream come true, and then start
- 1:22:08Speaker 7: taking the necessary steps towards the goal, which can still
- 1:22:15Speaker 7: be your dream now here's the cool thing about taking
- 1:22:18Speaker 7: that step in the right direction towards your dreams. Your
- 1:22:21Speaker 7: dreams can change, which means the goal will change and
- 1:22:26Speaker 7: your dream will change along the way because you're going
- 1:22:28Speaker 7: to get exposed and see some things that you didn't
- 1:22:31Speaker 7: even know existed before, and you'll add that to the
- 1:22:33Speaker 7: vision board, and then and then and then, and then
- 1:22:36Speaker 7: you make that a new goal. It's just gonna be
- 1:22:40Speaker 7: a lot of that. And so what you have to
- 1:22:44Speaker 7: do is you have to keep on pushing. You have
- 1:22:49Speaker 7: to keep pressing forward because all of that is going
- 1:22:53Speaker 7: to change, Trust me, it will. So you got to
- 1:22:57Speaker 7: convert the dreams into goals. That's simple, making those dreams
- 1:23:01Speaker 7: have a plan of action. The next thing you're gonna
- 1:23:04Speaker 7: have to do is you're going to have to be
- 1:23:07Speaker 7: willing to give up some free time. You got to
- 1:23:11Speaker 7: get rid of free time. Time is something you can
- 1:23:15Speaker 7: never get back, and free time often is wasted time.
- 1:23:21Speaker 7: I'm not saying you can't have no free time, because
- 1:23:23Speaker 7: everybody needs some free time, but you gotta limit the
- 1:23:27Speaker 7: free time until you get to where you're going. See
- 1:23:31Speaker 7: when you see a person who's wealthy taking some time off,
- 1:23:36Speaker 7: they've accumulated some stuff where they can take some time off.
- 1:23:40Speaker 7: But if you check to check, you ain't got that.
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: You don't have that.
- 1:23:47Speaker 7: See, wealthy people accumulate time and wealth, so they have
- 1:23:51Speaker 7: a reserve. So when they out of work for five
- 1:23:53Speaker 7: eight weeks, they still got income coming.
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: They still got money being made.
- 1:24:01Speaker 7: But for those of you that's on the hustle and
- 1:24:03Speaker 7: the grind, you gotta cut into some of that free time.
- 1:24:08Speaker 7: Take some of that free time and turn it into
- 1:24:10Speaker 7: productive time. See it's PT time. See FT is free time,
- 1:24:17Speaker 7: but PT is productive time. And you've got to swap
- 1:24:22Speaker 7: those two out so you can take advantage of your
- 1:24:24Speaker 7: times in the day. People ask me all the time, man,
- 1:24:27Speaker 7: how you do all that that you be doing. I
- 1:24:29Speaker 7: got the same twenty four everybody else got. I've just
- 1:24:32Speaker 7: decided to remove some of the free time and replace
- 1:24:37Speaker 7: it with productive time.
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: And then here's the deal.
- 1:24:41Speaker 7: I spend all my time building my dreams, so when
- 1:24:45Speaker 7: I get some time, I can live my dreams.
- 1:24:50Speaker 2: Do you understand me? That's the exchange that you have
- 1:24:53Speaker 2: to be willing to make. Y'all.
- 1:24:56Speaker 7: Success is not gonna walk up to the door and
- 1:24:58Speaker 7: just present itself in a basket, ring the doorbell and
- 1:25:01Speaker 7: walk off and you open it up in there.
- 1:25:02Speaker 6: It is the male man.
- 1:25:03Speaker 7: Don't drop it off. It's a grind and a hustle.
- 1:25:06Speaker 7: I say it all the time. The dream is absolutely free.
- 1:25:09Speaker 7: The hustle is sold separately. I'm on the hustle man.
- 1:25:14Speaker 7: I invite you to get on the hustle, and folks,
- 1:25:18Speaker 7: you can do it. You can do it man, if
- 1:25:22Speaker 7: you if you swap out some of this free time
- 1:25:25Speaker 7: for productive time, if you take all this stuff you dream.
- 1:25:28Speaker 7: Nothing comes to a dreamer but some more dreams. Eventually.
- 1:25:32Speaker 7: You gotta swap those dreams out and replace the dreams
- 1:25:35Speaker 7: with goals. If you're dreaming of a big house, you
- 1:25:39Speaker 7: gotta make the goal a big house. If you're dreaming
- 1:25:43Speaker 7: of owning a business one day, you gotta make that
- 1:25:45Speaker 7: owning a business a goal. It's gotta be a necessity.
- 1:25:51Speaker 7: You gotta want to be successful like you want nothing else.
- 1:25:55Speaker 7: You gotta want it.
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: You gotta break it, you breathe it, you gotta dream, dream,
