- 0:15Speaker 1: Come on, uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody
- 0:24Speaker 1: you are listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 0:26Speaker 1: one and only Steve harvey Man got a radio show.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Real glad about it too, you know.
- 0:34Speaker 1: I I hope that God always uh keeps me in
- 0:39Speaker 1: the frame of frame of mind to try to be
- 0:42Speaker 1: sharing and try to be motivational and ubly even even
- 0:46Speaker 1: when it's not felt or or wanted by some people.
- 0:51Speaker 1: I have people around me uh who seem to not
- 0:55Speaker 1: benefit at off of anything, and I can sit with
- 0:58Speaker 1: him and talk to him, take meetings with them to
- 1:01Speaker 1: try to encourage them, and for whatever reason, you know,
- 1:04Speaker 1: they want to just keep going the way they're going.
- 1:06Speaker 1: When you run into people like that, you have to
- 1:08Speaker 1: pray for them. You have to just hope that one
- 1:10Speaker 1: day that they release the change on their mind and
- 1:14Speaker 1: open up your mind to a new way of thinking.
- 1:17Speaker 1: A couple of things I wanted to go over with
- 1:19Speaker 1: I want you to all today in terms of motivation.
- 1:24Speaker 1: I want you to be aware of statements or old
- 1:28Speaker 1: sayings that have been created that you hear over the
- 1:32Speaker 1: course of time, and you may be applying them to
- 1:36Speaker 1: your life. And I want you to be careful of
- 1:38Speaker 1: some of them, because some of these old sayings man
- 1:42Speaker 1: are not designed for people who are dreamers, are not
- 1:48Speaker 1: designed for people who have any aspirations of being extraordinary.
- 1:53Speaker 1: These are not designs or sayings that people who want
- 1:58Speaker 1: to be extremely success for let anything, or have high
- 2:02Speaker 1: aspirations to put these sayings into your life. Let me
- 2:07Speaker 1: give you an example. Statistics say, that's it. That's the
- 2:14Speaker 1: one I want you to be careful about. Statistics say,
- 2:19Speaker 1: be very careful of stats. When a person says, you know,
- 2:25Speaker 1: statistics say one out of every what see, listen to me.
- 2:31Speaker 1: These are things that sound like they're good, sound solid advice,
- 2:35Speaker 1: but they're setting you up for failure. And you can't
- 2:39Speaker 1: adhere yourself to a lot of these sayings that's been
- 2:43Speaker 1: passed down from generations. And it's not scripture. It ain't
- 2:48Speaker 1: in a scripture nowhere that statistics say. It's just some
- 2:52Speaker 1: people and a lot of people who have lost have
- 2:56Speaker 1: come up with these sayings to justify why they keep losing,
- 3:01Speaker 1: on why they lost. When I first got started in
- 3:05Speaker 1: the business, there were more stand ups around now than
- 3:10Speaker 1: it is today. Because the comedy boom in eighty four
- 3:13Speaker 1: eighty five was it was gaining a lot of momentums,
- 3:18Speaker 1: comedy clubs, comedy nights everywhere. The statistic that a guy
- 3:23Speaker 1: told me. I told him I wanted to be on
- 3:28Speaker 1: the Johnny Carson Show, the Tonight Show. The guy said,
- 3:34Speaker 1: one out of every two thousand comedians ever make it
- 3:39Speaker 1: to the Tonight Show.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Okay.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Now, when he told us that, some of the comedians
- 3:47Speaker 1: in the room went, well.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Wow, man, that's rough.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Because a guy had also said that there was approximately
- 3:57Speaker 1: six thousand comedians in the country at that time. I
- 4:00Speaker 1: don't know if it was true. I'm just telling you
- 4:02Speaker 1: guy was out there s fewing numbers. I have no
- 4:04Speaker 1: idea how many it was, but he said one in
- 4:08Speaker 1: every two thousand will make it to the Tonight Show.
- 4:10Speaker 1: And he let the air out of everybody in the room.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Button me. So every night before I went on stage,
- 4:17Speaker 2: I used to do this right here, bat up Ua
- 4:23Speaker 2: bat up. That was the Tonight theme song.
- 4:29Speaker 1: I was young, opening act nowhere near Hollywood, didn't.
- 4:33Speaker 2: I was in Cleveland telling jokes at one night.
- 4:36Speaker 1: But that was my thing because I was bent and
- 4:39Speaker 1: determined that if it's one in two thousand, okay, why
- 4:43Speaker 1: don't I just be the one be careful when people
- 4:46Speaker 1: say statistics say because they are set up to fulfailure.
- 4:51Speaker 1: If you're gonna adhere to him. See that one in
- 4:53Speaker 1: so many it wanted. So many people win the lottery.
- 4:56Speaker 1: But if you don't play the lottery, you ain't gonna
- 4:57Speaker 1: be the one to hit. Not when the dude hit
- 4:59Speaker 1: you go, why lucky? But it played. Here's another one.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Maybe it's not meant to be. Let's go one step further.
- 5:09Speaker 1: I guess it wasn't the Lord's will. Don't you dare
- 5:13Speaker 1: blame God for something you may have not done yourself
- 5:19Speaker 1: because you didn't get the proper education, because you didn't
- 5:23Speaker 1: do the things you were supposed to do, because you
- 5:25Speaker 1: didn't stay to the task, because you quit, turned around
- 5:29Speaker 1: and with the other way.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Now, maybe it's not it wasn't the Lord's will.
- 5:34Speaker 1: These are all statements that sound like sound advice, but
- 5:39Speaker 1: they ain't all the time, got nothing to do with you.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Stop letting these old fogy sayings get in your way
- 5:48Speaker 1: of what can happen in your life.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Don't put all your eggs in one basket.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Who came up with this?
- 5:59Speaker 2: Who came up with it?
- 6:00Speaker 1: If you don't pour all your efforts into one thing.
- 6:03Speaker 2: How are you gonna be great at that one thing?
- 6:07Speaker 1: If Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird had
- 6:12Speaker 1: not played basketball sun up to sundown. Magic Johnson didn't
- 6:16Speaker 1: go to Michigan to get an education. Larry Berry ain't
- 6:21Speaker 1: go to Indiana to get an education. These cats was balling.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Michael Jordan didn't go to North Carolina get an education.
- 6:29Speaker 1: They went to play ball. They went to do one thing.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Tiger Woods didn't go to Stafford to get an education.
- 6:37Speaker 1: He went to play golf. Soon as he got good enough,
- 6:40Speaker 1: he gone, These are guys that put all they eggs
- 6:45Speaker 1: in one basket. See what's cool with putting all your
- 6:48Speaker 1: eggs in one basket is you now can maximize your
- 6:51Speaker 1: effort and laser beam what you're doing. Your problem is
- 6:57Speaker 1: all you gotta do is make sure what is your
- 6:59Speaker 1: basket made out of. If your basket is made out
- 7:03Speaker 1: of faith, hope, hard work, and belief, then guess what,
- 7:09Speaker 1: that's a good basket. I'm jumping all mine in it
- 7:12Speaker 1: because ever since I was a young dude, I've been
- 7:14Speaker 1: telling jokes one thing, one thing only, even when it
- 7:18Speaker 1: got ugly and I was living in a car, I
- 7:20Speaker 1: never quit telling them jokes, man. I just kept believing
- 7:23Speaker 1: that them jokes was gonna pay me one day, and
- 7:25Speaker 1: I'd be dug gone if it didn't.
- 7:27Speaker 2: I ain't take no time off.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Go work at the Walmart, get me a job, go
- 7:31Speaker 1: back to Ford and big for my job back.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Hey man, put all your eggs in a basket.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Just make sure that your basket is made up of faith, hope, belief,
- 7:41Speaker 1: hard work. Your basket woven by God. What you tripping for?
- 7:48Speaker 1: You're defeating yourself. Where is your faith? Where is your belief?
- 7:52Speaker 1: Where is your trust? At one point in time, you
- 7:55Speaker 1: got to bleed that God could do what he said
- 7:57Speaker 1: gonna do because he'd have done it for others, he'll
- 8:00Speaker 1: most certainly do it for you. Be careful of these
- 8:03Speaker 1: sayings that's out here, that's aligned by losers and people
- 8:07Speaker 1: to justify why they are not succeeded. Don't apply this
- 8:10Speaker 1: stuff to your life. And it ain't got nothing to
- 8:12Speaker 1: do with you. You're gonna mess yourself up, all right.
- 8:15Speaker 4: Okay, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 23:37Speaker 8: Hall FM dot com and let us see what they're
- 23:39Speaker 8: looking like so we can understand what the man was
- 23:41Speaker 8: talking about.
- 23:42Speaker 2: We can't get a clear pitch. We want to see though.
- 23:46Speaker 6: We want to see, all right, Moving on to Ursula
- 23:50Speaker 6: in Hampton. Ursula says, I'm thirty nine years old and
- 23:54Speaker 6: I'm having an affair with your sons.

- 24:13Speaker 6: friend's dad. Okay, she said, we all went on a
- 24:16Speaker 6: spring break trip like we're a family. So I'm confused
- 24:19Speaker 6: as to why he won't leave his wife. My son
- 24:22Speaker 6: will figure things out soon, So how should I handle this?
- 24:26Speaker 4: What?
- 24:27Speaker 2: So wait a minute, they all went on a trip together.
- 24:32Speaker 6: Yeah, she said, they went on a spring break trip
- 24:36Speaker 6: like we're a family. So I'm confused as to why
- 24:39Speaker 6: he won't leave his wife.
- 24:41Speaker 2: She must be sick. That must be something wrong with Dan?
- 24:44Speaker 2: What's she why she is so stupid?
- 24:54Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out what that woman let her
- 24:57Speaker 1: husband go with the other woman. She could make the
- 25:00Speaker 1: trip you ain't working at when she was working he hey,
- 25:04Speaker 1: medical leave. You can't let that go down if she
- 25:09Speaker 1: incost her eighty dollars. But you think I'm trying.
- 25:13Speaker 2: I can't think of no way this black old man
- 25:15Speaker 2: is letting this trip go down.
- 25:17Speaker 4: Okay, neither can I. But yeah, I got nothing.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Now, your question is why won't he leave his wife?
- 25:24Speaker 1: Because why? Why? Why?
- 25:25Speaker 2: Why do he have to? Yeah, he got you.
- 25:30Speaker 1: He didn't say he wanted to marry you. He said
- 25:32Speaker 1: he wanted you. Y'all be adding too much to the sentence,
- 25:35Speaker 1: Oh my god, I want you so badly. He didn't
- 25:38Speaker 1: say he wanted to be with you the rest of
- 25:39Speaker 1: his life. He didn't say he wanted to marry you.
- 25:42Speaker 1: He just said he wants you so badly. He wants
- 25:45Speaker 1: you more than he wants anything in life. That was
- 25:47Speaker 1: all these his true statements. Yeah, ain't nobody a man?
- 25:52Speaker 1: No earse let home.

- 26:37Speaker 6: He wants to get a tattoo on his ring finger instead.
- 26:40Speaker 6: I don't think that's good enough, And he said, I'm
- 26:42Speaker 6: overthinking his decision. Is a tattoo acceptable to you? Am
- 26:46Speaker 6: I overthinking things?
- 26:48Speaker 4: No?
- 26:49Speaker 1: Because then it ain't a ring, it's a tattoo. Yeah, yeah,
- 26:52Speaker 1: put the ring over, bro man, I tattooed my left hand,

- 27:17Speaker 2: I'm married to creating a secure, feat future.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Oh, this tattoo gonna have so many meanings behind it,

- 27:31Speaker 1: gonna get a tattoo.
- 27:33Speaker 2: God what well? I mean, but that's cool.
- 27:36Speaker 1: See everybody they famous somewhere. But it don't matter though,
- 27:41Speaker 1: I mean, who don't know they they married? Like I
- 27:43Speaker 1: left my wedd ring at the house one day. I
- 27:46Speaker 1: was taking family feud and I walked out on stage
- 27:49Speaker 1: and I realized I didn't have it, and I told
- 27:51Speaker 1: somebody to tell somebody from the house to bring it
- 27:53Speaker 1: down to the set. Mister, you're gonna tape your show
- 27:56Speaker 1: without your ring? Yeah? What if Ms Marjorie see that?
- 27:59Speaker 1: Ms Marjorie know who she married to? Right, and everybody
- 28:03Speaker 1: out here know I'm married?
- 28:04Speaker 2: What this ring? Listen? But we're not fit to tattoo
- 28:08Speaker 2: the ring.
- 28:10Speaker 3: You know, or the day some people talk to the day.
- 28:13Speaker 2: I mean that whatever you want to do, that's cool.

- 28:36Speaker 1: may man, y'all still having the barbecue Friday. If everybody die,
- 28:42Speaker 1: he even got to you does not require my morning
- 28:47Speaker 1: coming up right.
- 28:47Speaker 11: Up to that.
- 28:51Speaker 6: All right, guys, So it's lint season, and that means,
- 28:55Speaker 6: you know, many are going to follow tradition, a lot
- 28:58Speaker 6: of its religious tradition and give something up.
- 29:00Speaker 4: So I got to ask the guys.
- 29:02Speaker 6: What's the hardest thing you're going to give up or
- 29:05Speaker 6: that you've had to give up for lent or for
- 29:08Speaker 6: whatever reason.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Meat.
- 29:11Speaker 4: Oh, junior, you're gonna start meeting.
- 29:14Speaker 3: Gave meat?
- 29:15Speaker 7: That that the whole vegan Dad, I ain't built for it.
- 29:17Speaker 7: That was the hardest thing. Twenty one days of no meat.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Just that's pretty difficult. You can't.
- 29:24Speaker 15: I gave up. I kept I kept meat, but I
- 29:27Speaker 15: gave up the skin of meat, that chicken skin. So
- 29:31Speaker 15: I'm not eating the skin that way. I can still
- 29:34Speaker 15: have meat in mine because our Lord knows. I'm not
- 29:38Speaker 15: giving up. I got war, but I will go twenty
- 29:41Speaker 15: one days with our chicken skin.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Gave up.
- 29:46Speaker 1: I'm keeping the meat and the skin. I'm giving up
- 29:50Speaker 1: the season that go on it.
- 29:52Speaker 15: Oh, you gotta have seasonings, seed, you gotta have season.
- 30:00Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, yeah, here another thing hard thing I had
- 30:04Speaker 7: to give up on was the truth.
- 30:07Speaker 3: I'm telling the truth.
- 30:08Speaker 2: I give that up.
- 30:10Speaker 3: It was really hard, but being good.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Welcome, yeah, welcome dog, welcome.
- 30:18Speaker 3: Yeah, it's hard to don't understand how hard it is.
- 30:20Speaker 1: No, I'm not gonna ever stoping. It's no way in
- 30:25Speaker 1: hell I'm I promise you that.
- 30:27Speaker 2: And that's the truth right there, right, that is the truth.
- 30:30Speaker 2: That's the truth. I'm not gonna ever stoping. You don't.
- 30:34Speaker 2: As matter of fact, I trust me. You don't want
- 30:37Speaker 2: the truth for me all.
- 30:38Speaker 1: They really don't. Yeah, you don't. I ain't no need
- 30:43Speaker 1: us doing that. It ain't no need us doing that.
- 30:45Speaker 1: It don't make no sense.
- 30:47Speaker 2: No, no, no, it can't do.
- 30:49Speaker 15: And then why I asked you if you know I'm
- 30:51Speaker 15: gonna lie, That's what I don't put this question.
- 30:55Speaker 3: J tell me the truth. Don't say that.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, get that.
- 31:03Speaker 3: I ain't gonna get mad.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not gonna get mad. Just tell me the truth.
- 31:09Speaker 2: Fall in for that.
- 31:13Speaker 4: You can't even go a day without lying about.
- 31:17Speaker 17: Well, no, Steve, you lie every day, every every single day,
- 31:21Speaker 17: seven days.
- 31:22Speaker 1: I can't imagine I'm telling me the truth every day.
- 31:29Speaker 2: I can imagine that's the truth.
- 31:31Speaker 1: I can't imagine not lying to somebody.
- 31:36Speaker 2: I got some kids.
- 31:39Speaker 7: Let me tell you, let me tell you, let me
- 31:41Speaker 7: tell you. This is this is true story. This happened
- 31:43Speaker 7: last week when my she she's suffering from all the time.
- 31:46Speaker 7: But she get on your nerve because she called you
- 31:48Speaker 7: a lot of questions. And she asked, she said, do
- 31:50Speaker 7: you know so? And so I said, and that was
- 31:53Speaker 7: my first cousin. I said, I don't know, because if
- 31:55Speaker 7: I asked, yeah, it's gonna be some more questions.
- 31:58Speaker 2: It's gonna be Yeah.
- 32:00Speaker 3: I told I lied right too.
- 32:02Speaker 2: Sure did No.
- 32:03Speaker 3: I don't know him. She ain't even know me.
- 32:05Speaker 15: I found out. I found a way not to lie. Steve,
- 32:09Speaker 15: this is a great way not to lie. Asked the question,
- 32:13Speaker 15: you got to hear it. You gotta hear when you
- 32:16Speaker 15: asked the question on text, When you ask the question
- 32:18Speaker 15: on text, I found the best thing to do is
- 32:21Speaker 15: don't answer it at all and let them figure out
- 32:26Speaker 15: what the hell answer is. Now they will text you again,
- 32:29Speaker 15: but don'ly man. So like if they ask for money,
- 32:32Speaker 15: just don't answer it at all. That's the way I
- 32:35Speaker 15: deal with it.
- 32:37Speaker 1: No, that's how I have it. Told Jay, Hey man,
- 32:39Speaker 1: you get my text. Now what text.
- 32:43Speaker 3: Are we lying at this point too?
- 32:45Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 32:46Speaker 1: And I got it and I got out that, hey man,
- 32:48Speaker 1: And you know how you you can set it up
- 32:50Speaker 1: where you know if people open your text and read
- 32:53Speaker 1: it or not.
- 32:54Speaker 2: I got all that on my phone blocked.
- 32:56Speaker 1: He ain't doing that, so you can't tell. I can
- 33:01Speaker 1: open your message and you can't tell.
- 33:03Speaker 17: But if it said delivered, if my text to you
- 33:07Speaker 17: says delivered, then I know.
- 33:08Speaker 2: You got it.
- 33:09Speaker 1: No, I got it. It don't mean I read it right.
- 33:13Speaker 1: You can get it delivered to me? Hey, because I
- 33:15Speaker 1: show you in a minute, I can show you how
- 33:17Speaker 1: many especially when somebody email me. Let me tell you
- 33:20Speaker 1: right now, how many unread emails I got fifteen thousand,
- 33:26Speaker 1: three hundred and twenty four unread email.
- 33:29Speaker 6: Me back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 33:31Speaker 6: and twenty minutes after, right after this, it'ster.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Steve Harbin Martin show man.
- 33:37Speaker 6: Flora says, I've been sleeping with our yard man for
- 33:39Speaker 6: a while and he doesn't like wearing protection. We got
- 33:42Speaker 6: into an argument about it, and now he's not answering
- 33:45Speaker 6: my husband's texts to come to our yard.
- 33:47Speaker 4: How can he be so petty when he knows I'm married.

- 34:18Speaker 1: like to use protection, so I kind of bought it up.

- 34:40Speaker 1: ain't no problem. But now he don't like to wear protection.
- 34:46Speaker 2: Okay.
- 34:46Speaker 1: Now I spoke to him about it, that we should
- 34:50Speaker 1: wear protection because I'm married.
- 34:53Speaker 2: Now he didn't. They got an argument.
- 34:56Speaker 1: He didn't quit tex returning my husband's text because he mad,
- 35:00Speaker 1: what kind of it?
- 35:01Speaker 9: What?
- 35:02Speaker 4: How can he be so petty? She says, how can
- 35:04Speaker 4: you when.

- 39:22Speaker 4: this is Motown recording artist camp.
- 39:24Speaker 13: Here, what's up?
- 39:26Speaker 3: This is Chris Rock.
- 39:27Speaker 4: Hey, guys, myself, good morning. This is Tony Braxton.
- 39:29Speaker 7: You already know what time in Ease boy DC on
- 39:31Speaker 7: Flag you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 39:34Speaker 4: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 39:38Speaker 6: Well, while a lot of people are out there looking
- 39:40Speaker 6: for the one, there are apparently plenty of people who
- 39:44Speaker 6: don't think monogamy is for them, even if they're married.
- 39:48Speaker 6: And while some people would never be satisfied with an
- 39:51Speaker 6: open relationship that allows them and their partner to sleep
- 39:54Speaker 6: with other people, a brand new poll finds that there
- 39:58Speaker 6: are a lot of people who are curious about them.
- 40:01Speaker 4: I knew UGUV poll of more than.
- 40:03Speaker 6: Twenty three thousand Americans find that twenty six percent of
- 40:07Speaker 6: Americans are interested in having an open relationship, while sixty
- 40:13Speaker 6: eight percent are absolutely not interested. So here's the question
- 40:18Speaker 6: for you guys. Have you ever been in an open
- 40:21Speaker 6: relationship that didn't work out?
- 40:24Speaker 4: Or do you want to be in an open relationship?
- 40:27Speaker 2: Have you thought in him?
- 40:29Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 40:29Speaker 4: I mean I know you guys are married.
- 40:31Speaker 1: No, and hell man, hell no not being in open?
- 40:36Speaker 2: My wife, you're gonna be out your mind, man, Get
- 40:39Speaker 2: out of here.
- 40:41Speaker 8: My wife just gonna lead it out. I'm going over
- 40:42Speaker 8: dow nails. I'll be back. What you're going were.
- 40:48Speaker 3: Open relationship?
- 40:49Speaker 2: What you're going to daw nails?
- 40:52Speaker 3: I have trouble making it work with the one right?
- 40:55Speaker 4: Why are you married?
- 40:56Speaker 1: That's all I've been in an open relationship before, but
- 40:59Speaker 1: it ain't nobody know it?
- 41:02Speaker 4: You knew it.
- 41:05Speaker 2: I used to be wild. I was the only one
- 41:13Speaker 2: had that information.
- 41:15Speaker 7: And when the other party found out, you denied it?
- 41:18Speaker 7: Then you what?
- 41:19Speaker 11: What know?
- 41:21Speaker 5: Your live?
- 41:21Speaker 4: When the truth?
- 41:22Speaker 17: You whow open relationship?
- 41:30Speaker 2: When? Yeah? Wow?
- 41:36Speaker 8: Come?
- 41:38Speaker 18: What fault you?
- 41:42Speaker 4: Why get worried if you want to be in an
- 41:44Speaker 4: open relationship? Though, that's always my question?
- 41:46Speaker 2: What is what?
- 41:48Speaker 4: Why get married if you want to be in an
- 41:50Speaker 4: open relationship?
- 41:51Speaker 2: I didn't even know you were just talking about married,
- 41:53Speaker 2: but I'm just talking. You're talking about relationship.
- 41:54Speaker 1: But if I don't even understand that at all, why
- 41:58Speaker 1: would you get married?
- 41:59Speaker 2: Why are you up there.
- 41:59Speaker 18: Saying yeah, yeah, that's beyond me.
- 42:06Speaker 6: I said married couples are in open relationships, so they are? Yeah,
- 42:11Speaker 6: I mean, why even get married if you want to
- 42:12Speaker 6: be in an open relationship?
- 42:14Speaker 1: I don't know anybody that has an open relationship. That's
- 42:19Speaker 1: going to last, and there are several people talking about it.
- 42:23Speaker 1: But if that's what you have, then if that's the
- 42:26Speaker 1: type of marriage and this can work for you, didn't
- 42:28Speaker 1: go ahead and do you?
- 42:29Speaker 2: I don't care, do you boo? I don't care.
- 42:35Speaker 1: But you know, but you know, like we were talking
- 42:38Speaker 1: about my old interview that was trending the other day,
- 42:42Speaker 1: and you know, like you know, once again, it's my opinion,
- 42:47Speaker 1: and you're free to have whatever your opinion you want.
- 42:51Speaker 1: But this open relationship, I go back to that example,
- 42:55Speaker 1: thought about it over and over. If you're in a
- 42:57Speaker 1: committed relationship and you have a female friend and you're
- 43:00Speaker 1: a man, and you in bed at two o'clock in
- 43:03Speaker 1: the morning and your friend quote unquote, this girl who
- 43:07Speaker 1: you say is your friend calls you at two in
- 43:09Speaker 1: the morning and says she has a flat tie out
- 43:12Speaker 1: on the road. And you get up out your bed
- 43:14Speaker 1: and tell your committed partner that you're in a relationship
- 43:18Speaker 1: with you getting about your bed to put some clothes
- 43:21Speaker 1: on to go change the tire of a woman that's
- 43:24Speaker 1: just your friend who laying next to you, is going
- 43:30Speaker 1: for that, Charlene, uh Carler.
- 43:35Speaker 6: No, no, not, I mean we'll both go she needs
- 43:40Speaker 6: leave me.
- 43:41Speaker 2: Oh no, no, no, no no no.
- 43:43Speaker 8: When you say we both going, oh, that's really not
- 43:46Speaker 8: gonna happen.
- 43:47Speaker 17: Well, I understand what Shirley is saying.
- 43:49Speaker 2: I'll go with you.
- 43:51Speaker 4: You're not just gonna leave me right here? And got she.
- 43:55Speaker 3: Got to fix straight.
- 43:59Speaker 17: I was about to say emergency roadside.
- 44:03Speaker 2: She gonna be on.
- 44:03Speaker 1: Because a woman won't should know why she got to
- 44:06Speaker 1: call you?
- 44:07Speaker 4: Yeah, uh huh.
- 44:09Speaker 3: Why are you to go to guys because you're my friend?
- 44:12Speaker 6: Coming up next to is the Nephew and today's prank
- 44:15Speaker 6: phone call.
- 44:16Speaker 4: Right after this, Hey, y'all, this is Monica, This is
- 44:19Speaker 4: Spike Lee. Hey, this is Mary J. Blood.
- 44:21Speaker 5: Yo.
- 44:21Speaker 2: This is Steven A.
- 44:22Speaker 19: Smith.
- 44:23Speaker 4: Hey, this is Chakka Kahan.
- 44:24Speaker 16: You have no idea what it is. This is Carlos Miller.
- 44:27Speaker 16: And this may or may not be the Steve Harvey
- 44:29Speaker 16: Morning Show.
- 44:30Speaker 4: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, all right.
- 44:36Speaker 6: Coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 44:38Speaker 6: four minutes after, it's my Strawberry letter for today. Listen
- 44:41Speaker 6: to this title, will you I'm submissive? I'm submissive, but
- 44:46Speaker 6: is he worth it? I'm submissive? Okay, but is he
- 44:49Speaker 6: worth it, Harry, you gotta know that.
- 44:53Speaker 4: All right, we're gonna do that one.
- 44:55Speaker 2: It's a little bit.
- 44:56Speaker 4: Right, Yeah, just what is all that? All right?
- 45:00Speaker 6: We'll find out in just a few But right now,
- 45:02Speaker 6: the nephew is here with today's prank.
- 45:04Speaker 4: Phone call. What you got for snaf what's happening?
- 45:06Speaker 8: Well, we've been talking about it a little earlier, about
- 45:09Speaker 8: giving up something for the lint. Right, all right, Yes,
- 45:12Speaker 8: and if this prank is called lint, and I'm gonna
- 45:15Speaker 8: call this gentleman and let him know that. You know,
- 45:18Speaker 8: I'm gonna give your wife up for lint. I'm giving
- 45:22Speaker 8: your wife up for LT. I mean, there's some things
- 45:24Speaker 8: we need to sacrifice, right or wrong, you know what
- 45:26Speaker 8: I'm saying. So I'm gonna get your wife up for lint.
- 45:29Speaker 8: Now when Lint over, I'm gonna need I'm gonna hear
- 45:31Speaker 8: anything back now.
- 45:32Speaker 4: I got to get Monday after.
- 45:36Speaker 8: I don't meet up back now. Okay, I'm just letting
- 45:38Speaker 8: you know you can have her to the day after East.
- 45:41Speaker 8: But yeah, this is Lint. I'm giving up something big.
- 45:44Speaker 8: I'm sacrificing a lot, y'all. Let's go get doctor.
- 45:48Speaker 5: Hello, Hey, I'm trying to Resdorse. Yeah he was this
- 45:52Speaker 5: this cliff Man. I work at the post office with
- 45:54Speaker 5: your wife. How you doing, bro, I'm doing all right.
- 45:57Speaker 9: Everything cool?
- 45:58Speaker 5: Yeah, everything good man, everything good. Like I say, my
- 46:02Speaker 5: name is cleft man. I wanted to reach out and
- 46:04Speaker 5: holler at you about a couple of things. If you
- 46:05Speaker 5: if you got a minute, you got a minute?
- 46:07Speaker 9: Yeah, everything alright with my wife? Is something wrong or something?
- 46:09Speaker 5: No? No, no, no, no, no, no, your wife good man,
- 46:12Speaker 5: your wife good. I wanted to hit you up. Man.
- 46:14Speaker 5: We've been working the post office quite a while. We've
- 46:15Speaker 5: probably been in the same room a few times. Man.
- 46:18Speaker 5: I don't know if you remember meeting me or.
- 46:19Speaker 9: Not, but uh, okay, okay.
- 46:21Speaker 5: But what I wanted to say, man, is trying to
- 46:24Speaker 5: do better with my life, dog and you know, just
- 46:26Speaker 5: just trying to do better, you know what I'm saying.
- 46:28Speaker 5: So you know, for LINT, Man, I gave up a
- 46:31Speaker 5: few things, you know what I'm saying. I just thought
- 46:34Speaker 5: that would be a good thing, man, to try the
- 46:37Speaker 5: things that matter the most, or that you're addicted to,
- 46:39Speaker 5: you know, you want to get rid of, you know
- 46:41Speaker 5: what I'm saying, at least for LNT is what I'm
- 46:43Speaker 5: trying to do you feel me?
- 46:44Speaker 9: Okay, I'm kind of confused. But what they what they
- 46:48Speaker 9: got to do with me?
- 46:49Speaker 5: Well, basically, man, I'm giving up for LINT. You know,
- 46:53Speaker 5: I decided to give up messing around with your wife.
- 46:58Speaker 5: You know, because because.
- 47:01Speaker 9: Hold on, man, hold on, man, I'm at work. I
- 47:04Speaker 9: don't know what you come back, but back up and
- 47:07Speaker 9: rephrase everything you just said.
- 47:10Speaker 5: Well, like I'm saying, man, for LNT, I'm trying to
- 47:12Speaker 5: I'm trying to give up stuff that I'm that I'm
- 47:14Speaker 5: addicted to, you know.
- 47:16Speaker 9: And I just don't tell me what they got to
- 47:17Speaker 9: do with me and my wife though and you.
- 47:19Speaker 5: But that's what I'm trying to tell you. Man, I'm
- 47:21Speaker 5: trying to give up messing around with your wife for LYNT.
- 47:24Speaker 5: I mean, that's what I have given up. I've given
- 47:26Speaker 5: up messing around with your wife for LNT. Man.
- 47:28Speaker 9: What talking about?
- 47:30Speaker 6: Man?
- 47:30Speaker 9: Messing around with my wife? Man? Got no time for
- 47:32Speaker 9: no games? Right now?
- 47:33Speaker 10: Who this man?
- 47:34Speaker 5: Like?
- 47:35Speaker 9: What's your name again?
- 47:37Speaker 5: This is Cliff Man I actually work with for the
- 47:39Speaker 5: last ten twelve years. But but what I wanted to
- 47:42Speaker 5: really let you know is, you know, our schedule probably
- 47:44Speaker 5: gonna change because what we used to be doing, we
- 47:46Speaker 5: ain't doing, so she's probably gonna be coming home a
- 47:48Speaker 5: little bit earlier or things like that. But I I
- 47:50Speaker 5: don't want you getting addicted to it, because you know,
- 47:53Speaker 5: after LYNT is over, then you know we'll be back
- 47:56Speaker 5: what we used to do.
- 47:57Speaker 9: Man, what is you talking about?
- 47:59Speaker 4: Man?
- 48:00Speaker 9: Hold on, it's my wife's going to be home in
- 48:02Speaker 9: a minute. We're gonna talk about our deal with me. Man,
- 48:05Speaker 9: I'm about to hold on? What are you? Are you
- 48:07Speaker 9: in the city right now? Can I can I meet
- 48:09Speaker 9: with you right now?
- 48:10Speaker 5: Clip? Right? Okay? But what I'm what I'm trying to say, Well,
- 48:13Speaker 5: like I'm saying, I'm trying to do better. You know,
- 48:14Speaker 5: I gave up trying.
- 48:15Speaker 9: To do the better. That sounded like a bunch of
- 48:18Speaker 9: to me. I got something for you and my wife?
- 48:20Speaker 2: True?
- 48:21Speaker 5: Okay, Okay, okay, man, I mean, ain't you feeling men
- 48:24Speaker 5: trying to do better? Though?
- 48:25Speaker 9: I ain't feeling the thing? You calling me? Telling me
- 48:27Speaker 9: my wife think we need to meet up and talk
- 48:30Speaker 9: about this face to face. Clip of what you think?
- 48:32Speaker 5: I mean? We talk right now if you want to
- 48:34Speaker 5: have a conversation.
- 48:35Speaker 9: No, no, no, you just tell me your address and
- 48:38Speaker 9: me and my wife's gonna just come on over there
- 48:40Speaker 9: about that and we all sit down and have a
- 48:43Speaker 9: little powwow. I don't know who thank you is, man,
- 48:46Speaker 9: But me and my wife been together over fifteen years
- 48:49Speaker 9: and we ain't never had no problems with no like this,
- 48:52Speaker 9: like the you telling me on this phone. It sounds
- 48:54Speaker 9: like a bunch of crazy to me. But somebody nick
- 48:58Speaker 9: gonna today if they's true. So what you need to do?
- 49:01Speaker 9: You need to tell me your name, your number. And
- 49:04Speaker 9: I don't know why you call from this black phone number.
- 49:07Speaker 9: You hear me, man, I'm hearing you. Man, what I'm saying,
- 49:10Speaker 9: the reason for the call was to let you know,
- 49:12Speaker 9: you know, don't get used to her schedule because after
- 49:15Speaker 9: Lint it's gonna be back to the way it used
- 49:17Speaker 9: to be. That's all the phone, man, what's up? He's
- 49:20Speaker 9: you talking back? We'll get now. What's your what's your
- 49:23Speaker 9: what's your what's your last name? Cliff, I'm finna come
- 49:26Speaker 9: find you. I'm finna come see you.

- 50:37Speaker 9: you're telling me you've just seen the tattoo on her back?
- 50:40Speaker 9: Is that what you're talking?
- 50:41Speaker 5: On her lower back? Man? Right right right right on
- 50:43Speaker 5: above a tailbone. Yeah, I've seen it, Dorset. Your name Dorsey?

- 51:03Speaker 5: normal once lint is over with. I gave up messing
- 51:07Speaker 5: around with her for Lynd.
- 51:08Speaker 9: But not, man, I'm not cool with a thing. I'm
- 51:11Speaker 9: about to be cool in your face in a minute. Now,
- 51:14Speaker 9: tell me your name, tell me your number and your

- 54:59Speaker 4: Thank you, nephew. Subjects. I'm submissive, but is he worth it?
- 55:03Speaker 6: Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been married for three years and
- 55:06Speaker 6: he cheated before our wedding. We met online in an
- 55:12Speaker 6: online chat room and he said I had all of
- 55:14Speaker 6: the values that he desired in a wife. He quoted
- 55:17Speaker 6: some scripture and I was hooked. He'd been married before,
- 55:21Speaker 6: and he said his biggest problem was that his wife
- 55:24Speaker 6: was not submissive. He said she was stubborn and argumentative.
- 55:29Speaker 6: I was forty eight when we got married, and it
- 55:31Speaker 6: was my first marriage, so I aimed to please him
- 55:34Speaker 6: and do everything just like he asked me to. I
- 55:38Speaker 6: let him run his house and mine, and I was
- 55:42Speaker 6: the ideal girlfriend because I never stressed him out by
- 55:45Speaker 6: questioning him. He came to see me have sex and
- 55:49Speaker 6: then leave. I did not say a word, because for
- 55:52Speaker 6: the most part, he's a good man. I would listen
- 55:55Speaker 6: to him bragging to his friends about how lucky he
- 55:58Speaker 6: was to have me.
- 55:59Speaker 4: Then he cheated. Excuse me, I try to hold it. Sorry.
- 56:05Speaker 6: Then he cheated, and he couldn't lie about it because
- 56:09Speaker 6: his shirt was dirty and he smelled like a woman.
- 56:12Speaker 6: He told me that it was the alcohol, and he
- 56:14Speaker 6: said he'd never drink hard liquor again, but he lied.
- 56:18Speaker 6: His affair happened just two months before our wedding. He
- 56:21Speaker 6: got drunk on our wedding night and told his parents
- 56:24Speaker 6: that he hoped he didn't make a big mistake that
- 56:27Speaker 6: rocked my soul because all I've done from the beginning
- 56:31Speaker 6: is catered to him and make sure all of his
- 56:34Speaker 6: needs were met. I should have left before I made
- 56:37Speaker 6: any bowels to him. Now when I try to spoil him,
- 56:41Speaker 6: he tells me to leave him alone. He picks fights
- 56:44Speaker 6: so he can sleep on the couch. I haven't slept
- 56:46Speaker 6: in the bed with my husband in three weeks. I
- 56:49Speaker 6: vowed to stay for better or worse, but we've hit
- 56:52Speaker 6: rock bottom. Is he worthy of a good submissive wife
- 56:55Speaker 6: like me? Or should I change my ways and start
- 56:58Speaker 6: acting like his equal and see what happens? Please advise,
- 57:04Speaker 6: what are you doing?
- 57:06Speaker 4: Really? What is going on in this relationship period?
- 57:10Speaker 6: I mean you said he came to see you to
- 57:13Speaker 6: have sex and then leave right there. You should have
- 57:16Speaker 6: known that something was wrong. That was the first red flag,
- 57:19Speaker 6: and you let it happen. That should never have been
- 57:23Speaker 6: okay with you. You waited a long time to get
- 57:26Speaker 6: married and this is what you end up with, like
- 57:29Speaker 6: this control freak, this dictator. You allowed him to treat
- 57:33Speaker 6: you any kind of way. You put your needs and
- 57:35Speaker 6: your wants on the back burner to submit to him
- 57:39Speaker 6: for what Because he quoted a couple of scriptures to
- 57:42Speaker 6: you in the beginning, because you said after he quoted
- 57:44Speaker 6: those scriptures, you were hooked. You thought that that would
- 57:47Speaker 6: make him a good husband. Really, anyone can quote a scripture,
- 57:52Speaker 6: and that's certainly no reason to marry that person. You
- 57:56Speaker 6: see now, anyway, I hope you see now that all
- 57:59Speaker 6: that catering to him, what's just stupid on your part.
- 58:01Speaker 6: You're his wife, you're not his child, you're not his servant.
- 58:05Speaker 6: He got everything from you, and what did you get
- 58:07Speaker 6: in return? You didn't get anything. I just think this
- 58:10Speaker 6: is wrong.
- 58:11Speaker 4: You should have you.
- 58:13Speaker 6: Shouldn't have to walk on eggshells in your own marriage.
- 58:16Speaker 6: You don't know what to do now. None of this
- 58:18Speaker 6: has worked out for you. Now you're miserable, you're unhappy,
- 58:22Speaker 6: you're writing a strawberry letter. You know marriage is about
- 58:25Speaker 6: or I hope you should know that marriage is about
- 58:27Speaker 6: compromise and love, commitment, among other things. Your marriage doesn't
- 58:31Speaker 6: have any of that because it's all about him. You're
- 58:35Speaker 6: in this one sided situation with a man who doesn't
- 58:38Speaker 6: love you, He doesn't respect you. He told his parents
- 58:40Speaker 6: on his wedding night. Maybe he hopes he didn't make
- 58:43Speaker 6: a mistake. You know now you're sleeping on the couch.
- 58:48Speaker 6: He's sleeping on the couch, and he's picking fights with you.
- 58:50Speaker 6: He doesn't want to be with you at all. You know,
- 58:53Speaker 6: I think Steve said this last week or earlier. Yeah,
- 58:56Speaker 6: last week, he doesn't like you. He was talking about
- 58:59Speaker 6: another situation. But it doesn't sound like this man likes
- 59:01Speaker 6: you at all. I think you've wasted enough time trying
- 59:04Speaker 6: to please this man.
- 59:05Speaker 4: He's ungrateful.
- 59:06Speaker 6: I think you now should focus on yourself because you
- 59:09Speaker 6: deserve way better than him.
- 59:11Speaker 4: Steve.
- 59:12Speaker 1: The subject of this letter is I'm submissive, but is
- 59:18Speaker 1: he worth it? Now? I'm not a professional on submissive wives.
- 59:25Speaker 1: I don't know what that is, and I'm not an
- 59:27Speaker 1: expert on how that part of it should go. Because
- 59:33Speaker 1: you're trying to throw some scriptures in there that you
- 59:35Speaker 1: heard him say. But let me just walk you through
- 59:38Speaker 1: all the mistakes. I've been married for three years and
- 59:43Speaker 1: he cheated before our wedding.
- 59:45Speaker 2: Now, this was two.
- 59:46Speaker 1: Months before to wed Now, I've learned from several people.
- 59:53Speaker 1: One time I was in counseling and he said, the
- 59:56Speaker 1: thing about marriage is the only thing that changes a
- 59:59Speaker 1: person after the wedding is the appearance of his left hand.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: Third finger.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: If he has a behavior pattern that he does and
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: you think marriage will change it, it wont. We met online,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: chadwo and he said I had all the values he
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: desired in a way. He quoted some scriptures and I
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: was hooked. He was married before, and his biggest problem
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: here was to set up y'all. His biggest problem was
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: that his wife was not submissive. He says she was
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: stubborn and argumentative. I was forty eight when we got married.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: It was my first marriage, so I aimed a pleaseerm
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: and do everything just like he asked me to.
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: You were set up.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: To do this because he told you what happened to
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: his first marriage was she was not submissive. She was
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: argumentative and stubborn. So you proceeded to be the direct
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: opposite of what she was to please him. Thus we
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: began the downfall of this letter. I would explain it
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: to you more when we come back, because I know
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: this one inside out.
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: Thank you, all right, Steve, hang on, we'll have part
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: two of your response coming up to today's Strawberry letter,
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: the subject I'm submissive but if he worth it, We'll
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: be back right after this. You're listening, Steve Harvey.
- 1:01:26Speaker 4: Morning, show.
- 1:01:31Speaker 17: Do you ever notice your floor still look dirty even
- 1:01:33Speaker 17: after you mop? Power Mop gives you a deeper clean
- 1:01:37Speaker 17: you can see and feel.
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: Unlike stream mops.
- 1:01:40Speaker 17: Swift for power Mop absorbs more dirt and locks it
- 1:01:43Speaker 17: away even and hard to reach places like behind the toilet.
- 1:01:47Speaker 17: The new micro scrubbers deliver thousands of tiny, deep cleaning
- 1:01:51Speaker 17: actions for results that look, smell, and feel clean. No
- 1:01:56Speaker 17: more dirty floors. Try the Swift for power Mop. Love
- 1:01:59Speaker 17: it or your money back?
- 1:02:01Speaker 4: Come on.
- 1:02:01Speaker 8: Steve.
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: Let's recap today's strawberry letter, the subject I'm submissive but
- 1:02:06Speaker 6: is he worth it?
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: Well, you're gonna find out very quickly that he's not.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: And you're also gonna find out something about this thing
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: you keep calling submissive. You met this man online chat ROOUM,
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: y'all got married. He cheated two months before the marriage.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: You found out about it anyway. You don't say all
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: that yet, but you say he had been married and
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: his biggest problem with his wife was not submissive.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: So he told you this to set you up.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: So the setup was she was not submissive, she was
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: stubborn and argumented. So you realizing this and he knows
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: what he's doing, you began to act the direct opposite
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: because he didn't want to run up into no more
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: non submissive women. He didn't want to run up into
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: somebody talking back to him. He just didn't want that,
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: so he told you that's what he ran now. So
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: you said you had never been married before, so you
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: aim to please him and do everything just like he
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: asked you to. I let him run his house and mine.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: I was the ideal girlfriend because I never stressed him
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: out by questioning him, which means you had some questions,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: but you allowed yourself not to question him because you
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: didn't want to appear stubborn, argumentive, or non submissive. Well,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: now he has you right where he needs you. He
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: came to see you have sex and then leave. You
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: didn't question that because you didn't want to be You
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: wanted to be submissive. You didn't want to be stubborn,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: and you didn't want to be argumentive. So now he
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: can come over, have sex with you, and leave. I
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: didn't say a word because for the most part he's
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: a good man. I would listening bragging to his friends
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: about how lucky was to have me. Oh, he can't believe.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: I got this chick right here, and do like I
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: want to.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: And she let me do it because you're submitting, you're
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: not argumentitive and you're not stubborn. Then he cheated and
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: he couldn't lie about it because his shirt was dirty
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: and he smelled like a woman. And that's the only
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: part I have to interject myself into this right here.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: What he cheated and he couldn't lie about it?
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: What? What? What did that mean? What you mean he
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: couldn't lie?
- 1:04:29Speaker 10: Bout?
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: How the hell he couldn't. I don't give it what
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: I smelled like? And what's on that shirt?
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: You would still lie?
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: She could have rode.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: Her sail number on that shirt with glitter mass scale
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: on it, and I smelled just like she nailed number five.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: Lie. Hell yeah, hell yeah. So I'm computer.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: Remember he told me that it it was an alcohol
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: and he said he never drink hard nook again.
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: He lied his affairs.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: Just happened two months before I went, and he got
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: drunk on our wedding night, and he told his parents
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: that he hopes that he didn't make a big mistake
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: that rocked my soul because all I've done from the
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: beginning is catered to him and make sure all his
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: needs were met. Here's the biggest mistake you made. You
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: made sure all of his needs was met? What about yours?
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: What about your Not one place in this letter has
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: this man done anything to you except bragg to his
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: friends how lucky he was. I should have left before
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: I made the vows to him. Now when I try
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: to spoil him, he tells me to leave him alone.
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: He picks fights so he can sleep on the couch.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: I haven't slept in the bed with my husband in
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: three weeks. I vowed to stay for better or for worse.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: You vowed to stay for better or for worse.
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: He did, He didn't.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: You are submissive, he ain't. He starts augumented argument. You're
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: not augmented he is. You're not stubborn he is. See,
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: you became everything he wanted, but you didn't require him
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: to be nothing you want. And so now you left
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: holding the bag. But we've hit rock bottom. Is he
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: worth a good submissive wife like me? Or should I
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: change my ways and start acting like his equal?
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: What where did you come from?
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: Who are you? Should I start acting like his equal?
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: And see what happened?
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: What is she doing?
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: I got a little green eyed equal right now?
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: Well?
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: Shut up?
- 1:06:54Speaker 18: When I asked, okay, nothing, I asked cut to When
- 1:07:00Speaker 18: you send a submissive to nothing, I tell her to
- 1:07:04Speaker 18: do unless you agree with it.
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: I don't know what you have. I'm so he's so fortunate.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: But see, listen to me. Here's your problem, sister. I
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: got a great marriage. I got a great wife. We're partners.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: Submissive doesn't mean to any and everything. That's where you
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: got off the boat wrong at Submissive does not mean
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: you have to be submissive to abuse. You have to
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: be submissive to loneliness, you have to be submissive to
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: any quality, and you have to be submissive to doubt.

- 1:13:02Speaker 6: All right, guys, it is time now for comedy roulette.
- 1:13:05Speaker 4: J Please quickly explain.
- 1:13:09Speaker 15: It's putting three subjects on a wheel, spinning the wheel.
- 1:13:13Speaker 15: Where the wheel stops, we can make it funny because
- 1:13:17Speaker 15: we're comedians.
- 1:13:19Speaker 20: Okay, this is true, all right. Today's categories are lies people.
- 1:13:25Speaker 20: You know, people are going to be telling lies and lies.
- 1:13:28Speaker 20: People tell about why they can't pay you back your money. Lies,
- 1:13:34Speaker 20: You tell about something you know you saw, and then oh,
- 1:13:40Speaker 20: this is interesting.
- 1:13:41Speaker 6: A nice way to tell a Christian off. A nice
- 1:13:45Speaker 6: way to tell Christian off.
- 1:13:47Speaker 21: All right, yeah, all right, let's spend the wh.
- 1:14:02Speaker 4: A nice way to tell a Christian off.
- 1:14:04Speaker 6: Let's go fellas, all right, here we go.
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: I always found that.
- 1:14:10Speaker 15: I always found that went in an argument with the Christian,
- 1:14:12Speaker 15: go biblical on their behind, Yeah, straight biblical and hit
- 1:14:16Speaker 15: them with this judge ye not lest you be judged,
- 1:14:20Speaker 15: and then just walk away and then you.
- 1:14:23Speaker 4: I like it.
- 1:14:24Speaker 7: Yeah, Jay, I'm kind of in that same vein, but
- 1:14:27Speaker 7: I like to apply the story directly to them when
- 1:14:30Speaker 7: I'm arguing with Christians, like, I know, he died for
- 1:14:32Speaker 7: your sins, but you're about to go tell it thank you?
- 1:14:36Speaker 7: What I know, he died for your sins, but you're
- 1:14:40Speaker 7: about to go tell him thank you?
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: How about this right here? You know, I don't believe
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: Jesus would it? Did that?
- 1:14:52Speaker 4: A nice way to tell a Christian off.
- 1:14:54Speaker 15: Yes, yeah, there we go, comedy roulette. Nice way to
- 1:14:58Speaker 15: tell a Christian off. You know, I don't think Jesus.
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: Ever had a fight, but I have.
- 1:15:03Speaker 15: Okay, Jesus never had a fight, but I have.
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:15:09Speaker 3: Yeah, this is what I do. You know, the ones
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: that think they better than everybody else. It's like I
- 1:15:16Speaker 3: never saw you walk on water. I didn't see it.
- 1:15:25Speaker 4: So nice way to tell a Christian off. Come on, Steve.
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: You know, I know Daniel got off the lines then,
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: but this is my house.
- 1:15:38Speaker 4: Like that just went there. A nice way to tell
- 1:15:45Speaker 4: a Christian off, Jay, A.
- 1:15:46Speaker 15: Nice way to tell a Christian of you know, Easter
- 1:15:49Speaker 15: is coming up. I hope you get to wear that suit.
- 1:15:52Speaker 15: You gotta lay away, Okay, keep on, keep on one.
- 1:15:58Speaker 7: Yeah, you can always apply stories in the Bible to Christians.
- 1:16:04Speaker 7: I always like the ones that hurt, like you know,
- 1:16:06Speaker 7: they be talking mess you say, uh, you know, have
- 1:16:09Speaker 7: you ever heard the story of Stoning and Stephen, Because
- 1:16:15Speaker 7: I'm about to do going there A nice.
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: Way Junior off into the deep form of.
- 1:16:27Speaker 4: Yeah, you've got to know that. You know that, you
- 1:16:30Speaker 4: know that.
- 1:16:30Speaker 6: You know.
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: It's a nice way to tell them.
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: Now you know you aren't just supposed to read the scriptures.
- 1:16:39Speaker 4: It's a lot of judgments.
- 1:16:43Speaker 9: M m hm.
- 1:16:46Speaker 15: The nice way to tell a Christian of you know,
- 1:16:48Speaker 15: hell's in the Bible, won't you go there?
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: Look, I'm not saying your daughter is from miscueous.
- 1:17:00Speaker 4: I'm not saying it.
- 1:17:01Speaker 19: But Bill three, that's what's happening. I'm Perry Williams from
