- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all at all? Suit giving them like the
- 0:16Speaker 1: milling bu bus things and its y'all good. Steve listening
- 0:24Speaker 1: to the movie Together forty I don't join Jo. You
- 0:59Speaker 1: gotta turn, you gotta turn to turn them out, got
- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn them out. Turn the water the water. Come
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your back. Uh huh. I shall well, Good
- 2:04Speaker 1: morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice, come on dig
- 2:08Speaker 1: me now, One and only Steve Varvey got a radio show. Man,
- 2:12Speaker 1: Old Man. Old Man symbolizes just one thing to me. Man,
- 2:16Speaker 1: It's just a constant remind of exactly how good God
- 2:19Speaker 1: has been to me over the years. And I'm thank
- 2:22Speaker 1: him for it too, because I realize every day that
- 2:24Speaker 1: I wake up that I would be nothing without him.
- 2:27Speaker 1: That everything I am, that's any good in me, I
- 2:31Speaker 1: owe to him. Now. Have I made some mistakes along
- 2:34Speaker 1: the way? Yep? Bunches, bunches and bunches. And will I
- 2:40Speaker 1: continue to make mistakes along the way? Yep? Not as many,
- 2:45Speaker 1: hopefully as I have in the past, because a lot
- 2:49Speaker 1: of stuff I know better now. But you're still going
- 2:52Speaker 1: to make mistakes now. You know, hopefully I've limited the
- 2:58Speaker 1: amount of intentional errors in my life. I've wiped quite
- 3:02Speaker 1: a few of those out. But from time to time,
- 3:05Speaker 1: because we're human, we're going to make a mistake every
- 3:08Speaker 1: now and then. The trick what it is, y'all, it's
- 3:11Speaker 1: not to let the devil deceive you into thinking that
- 3:14Speaker 1: once you make that mistake that that's it. You can't
- 3:17Speaker 1: do it. You're falling off the wagon. You can't reboard it.
- 3:21Speaker 1: That's the biggest trick that he uses. He makes you
- 3:24Speaker 1: think that if you keep stumbling, that you can't run
- 3:30Speaker 1: the race. It kind of reminds me of a marathon runner.
- 3:36Speaker 1: From time to time I watch him on TV, and
- 3:39Speaker 1: you'll see some people who finish the race, you know,
- 3:44Speaker 1: in a in a nice pace. You see people finish
- 3:48Speaker 1: the race sprinting towards the finished line. But every now
- 3:52Speaker 1: and then you'll watch a marathon and you'll see a
- 3:56Speaker 1: runner and the runner is in really, really bad shape.
- 4:02Speaker 1: The key is they finish the race. See, you don't
- 4:07Speaker 1: get disqualified in the marathon because you stumble. You don't.
- 4:14Speaker 1: They don't. They don't take your opportunity to finish the
- 4:18Speaker 1: race because you keep falling that's not the key. The
- 4:23Speaker 1: key is finishing. And a lot of times what the
- 4:26Speaker 1: devil does is he makes you think that because you
- 4:30Speaker 1: keep stumbling, because you're swaying from side to side, that
- 4:35Speaker 1: you know you out the race. Well, that's not the case.
- 4:38Speaker 1: And see and then this thing called life, let me
- 4:41Speaker 1: help you understand something. Everybody falls, Nobody sprints to the
- 4:45Speaker 1: tape in this one. Nobody just runs free and clear
- 4:49Speaker 1: as some people running faster than you and all like this.
- 4:52Speaker 1: And some people gonna get to the end before you
- 4:55Speaker 1: let them go ahead. And when the end come, the
- 4:57Speaker 1: end come. I ain't in the rush to get to
- 4:58Speaker 1: the end. But in this race, though, when you're stumbling
- 5:02Speaker 1: and you're falling, it's a part of it. No one
- 5:06Speaker 1: gets through this race without stumbling and falling, swaying from
- 5:09Speaker 1: side to side. So don't let the enemy deceive you
- 5:14Speaker 1: into thinking that it's over. I try to be encouraging
- 5:19Speaker 1: to people because I don't want people to get stuck
- 5:22Speaker 1: on this thing, you know. And my walk is very
- 5:25Speaker 1: different from a lot of people's walks. And then I
- 5:27Speaker 1: know a lot of people who walking in faith the
- 5:29Speaker 1: way I'm walking in faith. But my thing in the
- 5:32Speaker 1: morning is just to remind those that is not a
- 5:35Speaker 1: perfect walk man, that it's not something that's set up
- 5:39Speaker 1: where you're gonna be skipping through life scott free without
- 5:44Speaker 1: any pitfalls. You know, I keep saying it over and
- 5:47Speaker 1: over and over again because, like I said, when I
- 5:49Speaker 1: was in DC, my boy Hondo said this to me
- 5:53Speaker 1: and it just kind of stuck with me that the
- 5:55Speaker 1: road to construct, the road to successes always under construction.
- 6:00Speaker 1: You have to figure and count on the setbacks and
- 6:03Speaker 1: the pitfalls. But it's those people that that that that
- 6:08Speaker 1: fight through will be the victors in the end. You
- 6:11Speaker 1: cannot give up, man, Stop going somewhere sitting down every
- 6:16Speaker 1: time something goes down. It's going to go down. It's
- 6:20Speaker 1: a part of it. It's going to happen. It's going
- 6:24Speaker 1: to occur that are going to be setbacks. If you
- 6:27Speaker 1: go and sit down every time there's a setback, that's
- 6:32Speaker 1: not how this works. It is designed that way. If
- 6:35Speaker 1: success were easy, everybody would be successful. But success is
- 6:42Speaker 1: just reserved for those who are willing to fight through,
- 6:45Speaker 1: who refuse to settle for mediocrity, who wants something more. Now,
- 6:51Speaker 1: don't get me wrong. Success is defined by each individual.
- 6:56Speaker 1: So what I may consider to be successful. You may
- 6:58Speaker 1: not consider that. You know what Bill Gates considers successful.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I might not consider what Michael Jordan considers successful. I
- 7:07Speaker 1: might not consider what you consider successful. Your boss might
- 7:11Speaker 1: not consider. You have to define what that is for yourself.
- 7:15Speaker 1: It may not be monetary at all. You know, your
- 7:19Speaker 1: level of success could be tied up in community service.
- 7:22Speaker 1: It could be tied up in family. It could be
- 7:25Speaker 1: tied up in the church. Your level of success could
- 7:28Speaker 1: be tied up into boys clubs. It could be any
- 7:32Speaker 1: number of things. Whatever your level of success is, you
- 7:36Speaker 1: have to determine what that is you and the best
- 7:39Speaker 1: way to determine that is to get in touch with
- 7:42Speaker 1: your maker, who created you, to find out what your
- 7:46Speaker 1: mission and your purpose is so he can put you
- 7:49Speaker 1: on track. I just had this conversation with my son
- 7:53Speaker 1: and we were talking about getting on the path that
- 7:57Speaker 1: God has set up for you. So how many times
- 8:00Speaker 1: we find ourselves fighting through life because of so much uncertainty,
- 8:05Speaker 1: because we have no idea where we're headed. It's like
- 8:10Speaker 1: one of my own sayings that I have at my
- 8:14Speaker 1: mentoring camp for boys is is that a boy without
- 8:19Speaker 1: a male role model is like an explorer without a map.
- 8:24Speaker 1: See if you don't have a map laid out in
- 8:29Speaker 1: front of you of where you're going when you wake
- 8:33Speaker 1: up every day, that pretty much explains the feeling of confusion,
- 8:39Speaker 1: the laxadaisical attitude, the lack of purpose, to not understanding
- 8:45Speaker 1: your mission because you don't have not gotten in touch
- 8:50Speaker 1: with your creator to find out exactly what your path
- 8:55Speaker 1: in life is. What are you supposed to be doing
- 8:58Speaker 1: the moment you can identify that it is the moment
- 9:01Speaker 1: that you get started waking up with purpose, with the
- 9:05Speaker 1: sense of direction. When you kill the sense of I
- 9:08Speaker 1: don't know what's next or what to do. Now, there's
- 9:11Speaker 1: going to be some confusing moments no matter what happened,
- 9:14Speaker 1: it's going to be some uncertainty, but at least you'll
- 9:17Speaker 1: know where you're going. So if you're tied a waking
- 9:19Speaker 1: up feeling loss, abandoned, confused, don't know what to do,
- 9:24Speaker 1: don't know what you're supposed to be doing, refer back
- 9:29Speaker 1: to your makeup. Because when he created you, he had
- 9:33Speaker 1: a plan for you. When he created you, he had
- 9:36Speaker 1: a path for you. Now we've made some decisions to
- 9:40Speaker 1: get off of both of those, the mission and the path,
- 9:43Speaker 1: but God can get you right back on track. Do
- 9:47Speaker 1: that today, asking what you're supposed to be doing, and listen.
- 9:53Speaker 1: God has all the answers if you form the relationship. Okay,
- 9:57Speaker 1: you're show, Ladies and gentlemen. Here we go. It's the
- 10:04Speaker 1: start of the morning show. Steve Harvey on the radio.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Everybody needs to get it together, so you know it's
- 10:11Speaker 1: time for us get started. So let's go. Ye know,
- 10:15Speaker 1: I would have failed miserably as a rapper. Yeah, I don't.
- 10:20Speaker 1: I don't even like it though. I don't even like him. Yeah,
- 10:24Speaker 1: I ain't like I don't. I don't like trying to.
- 10:25Speaker 1: I don't like having to keep that little thing. Don't
- 10:28Speaker 1: you know that I ever say it. Everybody want to
- 10:30Speaker 1: be here. I don't like that. I like that. That's
- 10:33Speaker 1: not for me. I'm not good at it. Now's some
- 10:36Speaker 1: great ones out there, but it's not for me. Good morning, everybody,
- 10:39Speaker 1: Shirley Strawberry, Morning, Steve Carlin, Forrell, Good morning, what's up?
- 10:44Speaker 1: Croom that dog gone? Junior boy? Morning, everybody in the
- 10:48Speaker 1: Bill and the Food Nephew, Timmy ya ya, Yeah, Well morning,
- 10:55Speaker 1: how y'all doing What was that yesterday? Didn't do nothing?
- 11:01Speaker 1: Didn't do nothing else to thing. His tree growing though,
- 11:06Speaker 1: But oh you're watching it the progress, Junior. What kind
- 11:11Speaker 1: of tree is it, Junior? A big old green one.
- 11:17Speaker 1: That's all I can tell you that, your junior. How's
- 11:23Speaker 1: your neighbor? Oh? You know what? Um, you know what?
- 11:27Speaker 1: We gonna have to kill that. I did the fruit thing? Yeah, yeah,
- 11:32Speaker 1: the fruit was back on my side, you know, I said,
- 11:34Speaker 1: like a good neigh But then he said, well, I'm here,
- 11:36Speaker 1: so somebody came through. Yeah she do have add Okay, well, yeah,
- 11:43Speaker 1: laid the fruit over that like a good neigh but Junior,
- 11:45Speaker 1: he put it back on it with another note, said
- 11:47Speaker 1: well I'm here, so he slid it back. Yeah. Well
- 11:50Speaker 1: Lizie ain't Lizie ain't eat it. You know, he could
- 11:52Speaker 1: ate it. So, you know, got some old fruit. Yeah, good, Julior.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Let me ask you a question. Yeah, just me and
- 12:00Speaker 1: you talking. Now, how long has she been staying across
- 12:03Speaker 1: the hall from you since she been over there? Just
- 12:06Speaker 1: about a week? Oh, she only been there for a week. Yeah,
- 12:10Speaker 1: oh oh yo, oh okay, oh, well you didn't give
- 12:14Speaker 1: an ample time to scope out situation. I just went
- 12:17Speaker 1: for it. I've been in here three days felt like
- 12:21Speaker 1: three years many reward, Junior, that's right about a faith baby?
- 12:30Speaker 1: I did? I love it? Well? Good thing it wasn't
- 12:35Speaker 1: number fruit. Yeah, like what else could have been? Could
- 12:41Speaker 1: have been some mistakes, could have been a lot of
- 12:43Speaker 1: where you slipped that love note under that dough that
- 12:45Speaker 1: would have been love. Yeah, it was great about really good.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Well you sound good today, Junior. Though great. I'm good.
- 12:53Speaker 1: I'm in here. I'm crazy right now, I know, man,
- 13:00Speaker 1: all what is that? Sir? Huh Tom? How are you holding?
- 13:08Speaker 1: I just I just I need to sit fix I
- 13:12Speaker 1: need a vacatient with just me. I need fixing it. Okay, yeah,
- 13:19Speaker 1: that's True's crazy. No, man, let me go fishing, fishing, golfing,
- 13:26Speaker 1: Let me do all any one week. I very rarely
- 13:28Speaker 1: agree with him, but I do on this one. I
- 13:30Speaker 1: need vacation by my damn sir. All right, listen, coming
- 13:34Speaker 1: up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we're gonna
- 13:36Speaker 1: do some ask the cl CLO, the Chief Love Officer,
- 13:40Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, end up building with your questions. Right after this.
- 13:44Speaker 1: You're listening to Steven Show. All right, Steve, time now
- 13:48Speaker 1: for ask the CLO. We have some good questions from
- 13:52Speaker 1: Steve Harvey FM dot com. If you have some questions
- 13:55Speaker 1: for the CLO, please please please feel free to write us.
- 13:59Speaker 1: This one from Jess in Hollywood, Florida. Steven says, my
- 14:04Speaker 1: boyfriend and I are in our mid twenties and sometimes
- 14:08Speaker 1: he is not able to perform unless he watches porn. First,
- 14:12Speaker 1: last night, we were being intimate and he was really
- 14:15Speaker 1: into it. Then he called me his ex girlfriend's name.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I didn't say anything because I didn't want him to stop.
- 14:22Speaker 1: It was his best for performance so far. Apparently thinking
- 14:26Speaker 1: about his ex girlfriend kept him in the mood. Do
- 14:28Speaker 1: you think he secretly still wants his ex or is
- 14:32Speaker 1: this just something that happens from time to time. Well,
- 14:36Speaker 1: I got a couple of ideas here from you said
- 14:39Speaker 1: that he only gets excited unless he's watching poorn. In
- 14:43Speaker 1: your twenties, that's dangerous. That's dangerous because I don't even
- 14:48Speaker 1: I very rarely hear that from a guy that young.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Very rarely do I hear that. So that's kindall. That's
- 14:55Speaker 1: kind of odd, right there, him calling and gets excited.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Now you having your best performance, and all of a
- 15:03Speaker 1: sudden he calls his ex girlfriend his name. Now the
- 15:07Speaker 1: question you need to find out is his ex girlfriend
- 15:11Speaker 1: a poun star has possibility written all over it. Maybe
- 15:24Speaker 1: she adn't wanted them movie that getting real excited. Other
- 15:30Speaker 1: than that, I don't know how long you all have
- 15:32Speaker 1: been dating, And I don't know how long you can
- 15:35Speaker 1: continue to accept being called the other girl's name that ain't.
- 15:40Speaker 1: I don't know how long that's allowable. But I think
- 15:44Speaker 1: you should have bought it to his attention so that
- 15:48Speaker 1: he is aware of it and he can start working
- 15:50Speaker 1: on it if it's serious. But I don't think y'all's
- 15:53Speaker 1: relationship is gonna go nowhere, because if you got to
- 15:56Speaker 1: have Porto to turn you on at in your twenties,
- 16:00Speaker 1: the rest of your sex years is shot man, damn dog,
- 16:06Speaker 1: because in my twenties I needed nothing. I just knocked cool.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Al yeah, if if just ready just walking around, ready
- 16:16Speaker 1: the wind blow either one of these that right there? Hot,
- 16:21Speaker 1: just right here, hot, don't matter. I okay. This is
- 16:33Speaker 1: from Its from Tony in New Jersey. I have a
- 16:37Speaker 1: problem with my lady friend. I'm a bodybuilder, and I
- 16:40Speaker 1: get a lot of women trying to holler at me
- 16:42Speaker 1: at my d in my d MS, and they send
- 16:45Speaker 1: lots of nude pictures. I'll show my lady the pics
- 16:48Speaker 1: and we laughed at them together. I found out the
- 16:51Speaker 1: other day that my lady also gets nude pictures of
- 16:55Speaker 1: men and her DMS. She clicked on a message by
- 16:58Speaker 1: mistake and I saw the picture of a naked man.
- 17:01Speaker 1: She has never mentioned this to me, She said, she
- 17:04Speaker 1: hates the picts and she immediately deletes them. But why
- 17:07Speaker 1: does she keep it from me? Should I be concerned? Well,
- 17:10Speaker 1: you know what, dog? See Hold up now, when you
- 17:13Speaker 1: showing neaked pictures, y'all laughing, you know, so now all
- 17:18Speaker 1: of a sudden, this ain't funny to you no more. See, dog,
- 17:22Speaker 1: you got to be careful what you introduce. I don't
- 17:25Speaker 1: know what your ass is showing your girl naked pictures
- 17:28Speaker 1: of other women fault. I really don't know, man. I'm
- 17:31Speaker 1: confused about that. Normally that you're you're inviting a hail
- 17:37Speaker 1: storm into your house when you do that. So I
- 17:39Speaker 1: don't know what that was. But then she gets me
- 17:42Speaker 1: and sending her naked pictures too. But she ain't mentioned
- 17:46Speaker 1: it to you, because guess why, because she knows. Look
- 17:51Speaker 1: at you didn't wrote a letter. See you see a
- 17:52Speaker 1: picture You're asking wrote a letter, y'all watching together? You
- 17:56Speaker 1: just keep kid yeah, see Pardner, So she already know
- 18:00Speaker 1: it's a problem. And the bodybuilder come on, man, come
- 18:06Speaker 1: on all right. See yeah, it's it's it's it's it's
- 18:09Speaker 1: not a problem that she might be messing around. But
- 18:11Speaker 1: maybe she just didn't feel like dealing with this because
- 18:14Speaker 1: you don't wrote a letter into a national radio show.
- 18:17Speaker 1: You show her pictures, y'all just laugh. Anonymous in Tennessee writes,
- 18:22Speaker 1: I've been married for five years and my mother lives
- 18:25Speaker 1: with us. I'm a diabetic and I've been sick a
- 18:28Speaker 1: lot lately, so my mother has assumed the role as
- 18:31Speaker 1: my full time nurse and caregiver. This drives my wife crazy.
- 18:36Speaker 1: My mother told my wife that she's been taking care
- 18:39Speaker 1: of me all my life and it's not up for debate.
- 18:42Speaker 1: My wife isn't having it, and their constant arguing stresses
- 18:45Speaker 1: me out. My wife works long hours, and my mom
- 18:48Speaker 1: is here when my wife can't be. So in a way,
- 18:51Speaker 1: my mom is right. I'm stuck in the middle. Please help, No, no,
- 18:56Speaker 1: come no, No, Your mom isn't right. No, she's not right.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Your wife is the queen of the castle that can
- 19:04Speaker 1: there's only one queen in the castle. It might be
- 19:07Speaker 1: some damsels, it might be some some some other people
- 19:10Speaker 1: at work, but it's one queen. And your wife is
- 19:14Speaker 1: being rooted out by your mother, who's obviously taking some
- 19:20Speaker 1: liberties with you that your wife would like to be
- 19:23Speaker 1: able to do. Now the fact that you're sick, Brod
- 19:26Speaker 1: can't do nothing about that. Feel for you. Uh, you know,
- 19:29Speaker 1: I don't know what you're supposed to say to somebody
- 19:31Speaker 1: would diabetes. I don't know. You don't seeing conduces to Okay, well,
- 19:39Speaker 1: you know, I don't know what you say to people
- 19:40Speaker 1: got diabetes. I don't know what to say, not condolences
- 19:43Speaker 1: or I don't know what to say to him about
- 19:50Speaker 1: the sickness. But your mother is not. She may have
- 19:55Speaker 1: been taken care of you your whole life, but this
- 19:57Speaker 1: your wife, dog, See you said viles to your wife. Now,
- 20:01Speaker 1: if your mother's there because you can't provide for yourself,
- 20:06Speaker 1: I don't I don't know what it is, but she
- 20:09Speaker 1: lives with y'all, and it's creating a problem. She didn't
- 20:12Speaker 1: marry you to live with your mama. Now. I don't
- 20:14Speaker 1: know how sick you are, dog, But if your mother
- 20:18Speaker 1: just over there because she won't just keep eye on
- 20:20Speaker 1: you and check on you. Then you gotta change your
- 20:22Speaker 1: living arrangements. Now, if you incapacitated in some way, then
- 20:27Speaker 1: your wife gonna had to work with your mama a
- 20:29Speaker 1: little bit better. But your mama gonna had to back
- 20:31Speaker 1: up and let your wife be the queen at the castle.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Your wife and wife and dog. Now, you don't sleep
- 20:38Speaker 1: with your mama, So you're gonna mess around here that
- 20:43Speaker 1: in a minute. Yeah, yeah, we're going there and sleep
- 20:48Speaker 1: with your mammy. You're gonna here that all right? Coming
- 20:51Speaker 1: up next and have you in the building. Would run
- 20:53Speaker 1: that brank back right after this you're listening show coming
- 21:00Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, Miss Anna standing
- 21:03Speaker 1: by with today's national Corona news update and entertainment news.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott threw a
- 21:12Speaker 1: party over the weekend in the middle of a pandemic,
- 21:16Speaker 1: and other entertainment news. Ratings for the Lifetime movie The
- 21:19Speaker 1: Clark's Sisters were huge. We'll talk about all of these
- 21:22Speaker 1: stories at the top of the hour, but right now,
- 21:24Speaker 1: it's time for the nephew to run that prank back.
- 21:26Speaker 1: What you got for us navn are we gonna wax
- 21:29Speaker 1: that ass? That's what we're gonna do. Goodness if I'm
- 21:33Speaker 1: call wat as oh no, no, come on called, come on,
- 21:42Speaker 1: let's go cat dot. Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach
- 21:48Speaker 1: Owen pleach. Yeah, this is on Hi Owen. This is ramone.
- 21:52Speaker 1: I'm giving you a call, um where we're just confirming
- 21:55Speaker 1: your appointment at eleven on Thursday. And I wanted to

- 23:25Speaker 1: private area as well. Yeah, try a good man. There's
- 23:30Speaker 1: no way I'm getting my private wax. What select to
- 23:34Speaker 1: be hairless like? But the way get out of here. Evidently,
- 23:40Speaker 1: if your wife has set you up for this, maybe
- 23:43Speaker 1: she's not into all you have. You evidently have a
- 23:46Speaker 1: lot of hair on your back. I'm assuming yeah I'm
- 23:49Speaker 1: a hairy guy. But she's never said anything the battles.
- 23:51Speaker 1: He likes it, okay, he calls me he loves it. Well,
- 23:55Speaker 1: maybe it's a mix of communication, because this is the
- 23:59Speaker 1: thing she's asking us to do, is to remove your hair. Yeah, no,
- 24:02Speaker 1: that's not happening. And if she's gonna tell me yourself,
- 24:05Speaker 1: and there's no way I'm going in to have somebody
- 24:08Speaker 1: ripped the hair off my back and my hands in
- 24:10Speaker 1: my private you're kidding me to get out of here.
- 24:14Speaker 1: This is crazy. This is this is a very professional procedure.
- 24:18Speaker 1: It won't take long. We'll have you in and out
- 24:20Speaker 1: within forty five minutes. But you're gonna forty five minutes,
- 24:26Speaker 1: forty five minutes to rip off all of this hair.
- 24:28Speaker 1: That sounds like tort shit. He mean, okay, sure you know. No, No,
- 24:34Speaker 1: I think we're done. I think you know we're done.
- 24:38Speaker 1: I mean I mean I'm gonna go Alad to get
- 24:40Speaker 1: a refund. It's getting a refund. Okay, they're not gonna
- 24:44Speaker 1: be a refund. Now, you're supposed to come in at eleven.
- 24:47Speaker 1: This is something that she wants you to do. Yeah,
- 24:49Speaker 1: I'm not listen to me. I am not getting wax.
- 24:54Speaker 1: That's not something a man does. There's no way I'm
- 24:57Speaker 1: doing that. If this is for real, I'm gonna have
- 24:59Speaker 1: a talk with her as soon as she gets home,
- 25:01Speaker 1: because no, no, no shirt. Right now, right now, you're
- 25:07Speaker 1: are disrespecting my profession. That's what you're doing. Okay, look,
- 25:11Speaker 1: I'm not I don't. I don't know what this is
- 25:12Speaker 1: all about. I don't. I'm not trying to dis respect anybody,
- 25:15Speaker 1: but I'm doing this all right. I'm not getting it back. No,
- 25:19Speaker 1: there's no way. Okay. So evidently your wife wanted or
- 25:23Speaker 1: she wouldn't have purchased it from us to have you
- 25:26Speaker 1: come in and get it done. Well, yeah, I'm gonna
- 25:28Speaker 1: talk to her about that. I mean, if there's something
- 25:30Speaker 1: she wants watch, you can wax her private that's cool.
- 25:32Speaker 1: But a man has hair. I mean, it's it's well,
- 25:35Speaker 1: if she didn't have an appointment, then she's serious about
- 25:38Speaker 1: getting it done. Yeah. Well I'm serious about not going
- 25:42Speaker 1: so I mean, you know, I don't know how I
- 25:44Speaker 1: can explain that to you. I'm not coming in. You
- 25:46Speaker 1: can reschedule it for somebody else. I'll talk to her
- 25:49Speaker 1: when she gets home. But that's that's it. I'm just
- 25:52Speaker 1: your wife has paid two hundred dollars for this procedure.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Did you say two hundred dollars? Your wife has paid
- 25:58Speaker 1: two hundred dollars for the procedure. Yeah. No, he's gonna
- 26:03Speaker 1: get a refund. You guys are no, this is sir,
- 26:07Speaker 1: sir Owen, this is not respundable, so there is no
- 26:11Speaker 1: money coming back. I will let you know that two
- 26:14Speaker 1: hundred bucks. There's no way. You gotta be kidding me
- 26:20Speaker 1: to take care off on my back and my two bucks.
- 26:27Speaker 1: This is a very referable small here. I don't, I
- 26:29Speaker 1: don't do it. I'm gonna get I'm gonna go to
- 26:31Speaker 1: the dollar store and get a pack of raisers for
- 26:34Speaker 1: a dollar, and she's gonna do it herself and I'll
- 26:37Speaker 1: give her. I'll give her ten bucks. This is good.
- 26:39Speaker 1: I'll give her a tip. That's the five fIF food bucks.
- 26:42Speaker 1: I'm done. I'm say two hundred bucks. There's no way.
- 26:46Speaker 1: There is no way we are playing that money and
- 26:50Speaker 1: you guys are keeping that money. There's no pay Do
- 26:52Speaker 1: you understand there's no there's not a refund, mister Owen.
- 26:58Speaker 1: There's definitely not a ref Mister Owen, who are you?

- 27:12Speaker 1: don't give up Ramote. Listen now, you're not respecting my professions.
- 27:16Speaker 1: You're acting. I don't look. Look, I'm not trying to
- 27:18Speaker 1: disrespect you, but I don't care about the profession. There's
- 27:22Speaker 1: no way that's actually that's robbery. Charging somebody two hundred
- 27:26Speaker 1: bucks to rip off hair off their their body. He
- 27:29Speaker 1: gets just no way. I'm just not doing it, and
- 27:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna talk to her. She's gonna do it herself.
- 27:34Speaker 1: I cash because you're disrespecting my profession. And you're not
- 27:37Speaker 1: coming in at eleven. Were you supposed to come in
- 27:39Speaker 1: at eleven so we could watch your back in your body?
- 27:42Speaker 1: And now you're saying no, there will be nothing whack,
- 27:46Speaker 1: I'm not coming in eleven. I'm not coming in ever.
- 27:48Speaker 1: She's gonna take care of this though. You don't have
- 27:50Speaker 1: to worry about it. Ramone. I mean respect to you,
- 27:53Speaker 1: but no need to show and there is no refund. Okay,
- 27:58Speaker 1: I mean, this is ridiculous. I don't even know why
- 28:01Speaker 1: I'm talking to you. You're cousin Peter. Have you spoken
- 28:03Speaker 1: to him lately? How do you know Peter Teeter got

- 29:22Speaker 1: was after they got word that he was throwing a
- 29:24Speaker 1: party during the coronavirus pandemic. Police said they stopped by
- 29:29Speaker 1: and they were unable to verify if he and Ezekiel
- 29:32Speaker 1: were partying with thirty people, which is a clear violation
- 29:36Speaker 1: of the Texas Safe at Home Stay at Home order. Uh.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Dak posted a picture from the event that showed a
- 29:43Speaker 1: table set for only ten people. So they yeah, yeah,
- 29:59Speaker 1: you're not do that. We can't have parties. You know what.

- 30:47Speaker 1: the Clark's sisters First Ladies of Gospel Music. Uh. Their

- 31:59Speaker 1: Do that? Yeah, use my thing oh now password? Yeah.
- 32:05Speaker 1: And also big ups to the three ladies who backed
- 32:09Speaker 1: it financially and put it together, Mary J. Blige, Missy
- 32:13Speaker 1: Ella and Queen the Teeth, Sir. I think it was
- 32:16Speaker 1: really deep for them to reach back and go to
- 32:20Speaker 1: from their roots. You know, all the girls from the
- 32:24Speaker 1: church Man they know right, and and and the Clark's
- 32:27Speaker 1: sisters they were executive producers too. You saw that they
- 32:31Speaker 1: were at the credits, so the Clark family too. They
- 32:34Speaker 1: you know, they did their thing to doctor Holly carter Man.
- 32:37Speaker 1: That movie was out. It was damn really good. It

- 32:44Speaker 1: so much respect for their mother. Man. Yes, I heard
- 32:48Speaker 1: the Clarks. It was time to clean up. That's what
- 32:50Speaker 1: I knew. Yeah, I'm I'm gonna do my life story
- 32:56Speaker 1: on lifetime, and I want you to just play yourself,
- 33:03Speaker 1: playing you now what you have you play yourself as
- 33:06Speaker 1: a baby. No, Now, I gotta go, Pope headline, Steve,
- 33:18Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, Miss Ann trip and good morning everybody. Yes,
- 33:22Speaker 1: this is a trip with the news. Let's get right
- 33:24Speaker 1: to it. Former Vice President Joe Biden now has the
- 33:27Speaker 1: backing of his last primary rival from on, Senator Bernie Sanders,
- 33:31Speaker 1: and unlike the last time, Sanders told Biden that the
- 33:33Speaker 1: big picture for the party and the nation is what's
- 33:36Speaker 1: important and that everybody should get on board right now.
- 33:39Speaker 1: I am asking all Americans. I'm asking every Democrat, I'm
- 33:43Speaker 1: asking every independent. I'm asking a lot of Republicans to
- 33:46Speaker 1: come together in this campaign to support your candidacy, which
- 33:50Speaker 1: I endorse, to make certain that we defeat somebody who
- 33:55Speaker 1: I believe is the most dangerous president in the modern
- 33:59Speaker 1: history of this treat a president who downplayed this pandemic,
- 34:04Speaker 1: who ignored the advice that some of his people were
- 34:08Speaker 1: giving him. Sanders Biden and many others blamed President Trump
- 34:12Speaker 1: for first disbelieving that there was a coronavirus, claiming the
- 34:14Speaker 1: Democrats made it up. Then he claimed it was under control.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Then he waited, they say, for about a month to
- 34:20Speaker 1: do anything about it, resulting in the thousands of American
- 34:22Speaker 1: deaths and the currently hobbled US economy. Many mainstream Democrats
- 34:27Speaker 1: blame Bernie Sanders for Trump's winning the White House in
- 34:29Speaker 1: the first place. Authorities say that one of the sailors
- 34:32Speaker 1: who tested positive for the coronavirus aboard the USS, Theodore Roosevelt,
- 34:36Speaker 1: has died. For other sailors from that very same Navy
- 34:39Speaker 1: ship testing positive and hospitalized, and about six hundred sailors
- 34:44Speaker 1: on that ship have tested positive for the virus very serious.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Former Fox TV host Bill O'Reilly being criticized over a
- 34:51Speaker 1: mark he made recently to Sean Hannity about the thousands
- 34:54Speaker 1: of people all over the world who've died from coronavirus
- 34:57Speaker 1: these still very very popular conservative of TV talker describes
- 35:01Speaker 1: people who've passed from COVID nineteen in a rather matter
- 35:04Speaker 1: of fact kind of way. This tape, courtesy of Media Matters.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Many of people who are dying both here and around
- 35:10Speaker 1: the world were on their last legs anyway. And I
- 35:14Speaker 1: don't want to sound callous about that you're gonna get
- 35:17Speaker 1: I mean, a simple man tells the truth. All people
- 35:19Speaker 1: have taken a Twitter calling O'Reilly callous a joke, and
- 35:22Speaker 1: a lot of other least flattering uh names. Okay, there
- 35:25Speaker 1: are more casually numbers resulting from east to Sunday's tornadoes
- 35:28Speaker 1: in the South thirties and Mississippi, putting at least eleven
- 35:31Speaker 1: death a lot of injuries. At least eight people died
- 35:33Speaker 1: in Georgia, nine in South Carolina. Storm deaths also reported
- 35:36Speaker 1: in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Arkansas. And finally, this always happens.
- 35:42Speaker 1: A motorist in the UK the other day, Okay, he
- 35:44Speaker 1: was stopped for speeding. He tells the cop he was
- 35:46Speaker 1: trying to outrun the coronavirus. Yeah, this guy driving at
- 35:50Speaker 1: one hundred and thirty mile an hour clip actually said
- 35:53Speaker 1: that he thought that the fastest he drove, the less
- 35:56Speaker 1: chance he'd have getting what the virus. I don't don't
- 35:59Speaker 1: know else people are so silly. I just don't figure
- 36:03Speaker 1: it out. Now back to the Steve Harvey warning show,
- 36:05Speaker 1: you're listening to show well interest. Elba, who himself tested
- 36:11Speaker 1: positive for COVID nineteen, voiced a poem. It was called
- 36:15Speaker 1: Don't Quit. It was by John Greenleaf Whittier for promo
- 36:19Speaker 1: to spread hope during the pandemic. And here's some of it.
- 36:22Speaker 1: Take a listen, and the funds are low, but at
- 36:25Speaker 1: that's high, and you want to smile, but you have
- 36:28Speaker 1: to sigh, I didn't when Carrie is pressing you down. Quit.
- 36:38Speaker 1: Life is strange if it's twists and turns, as every
- 36:41Speaker 1: one of us sometimes learns. Many has turned about when
- 36:46Speaker 1: he might have won had he stuck it out. So
- 36:49Speaker 1: don't give up. Though the pace seems slow, You may
- 36:51Speaker 1: succeed with another blow. Often the goal is nearer than
- 36:55Speaker 1: it seems to a faint and a faltering man. Often
- 36:58Speaker 1: the struggler has given when he might have captured the
- 37:01Speaker 1: victor's cup, and he learns too late, when the night
- 37:04Speaker 1: came down, how close he was to the golden crowns success,
- 37:07Speaker 1: his failure turned inside out. It's your silver tent of
- 37:11Speaker 1: your clouds of doubt, and you never can tell how
- 37:14Speaker 1: close you are, and maybe near when it seems so far.
- 37:17Speaker 1: So stick to the fight when your heart ist hit.
- 37:20Speaker 1: It's when things seem worse that you mustn't quit. Very good,
- 37:27Speaker 1: you see that. I've never I've never known that they
- 37:31Speaker 1: had an author to that poet. Yeah, John Greenleaf Whittier,
- 37:37Speaker 1: But Ji, it's always been over there. I've never heard that.
- 37:41Speaker 1: It's always been author unknown, but I never heard of that. Wow,
- 37:47Speaker 1: I'm just saying Junior's here though, come on with his paw.
- 37:52Speaker 1: You're just Junior is here. I'm come behind that. I
- 38:01Speaker 1: know that that poem you just quote on call Don't
- 38:04Speaker 1: Quit well, the one I wrote call I'm Gonna Quit
- 38:09Speaker 1: by Julie, just the one I came up with. I'm
- 38:17Speaker 1: gonna quit thinking someone is coming over because they ain't.
- 38:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna quit thinking i'm gonna go start a hobby
- 38:27Speaker 1: because I ain't. I'm gonna quit running to the dough
- 38:32Speaker 1: thinking every delivery is for me because it ain't. And
- 38:38Speaker 1: I'm not gonna wait around for the guy in DC
- 38:41Speaker 1: to be more passionate, caring, thoughtful, understanding, or give a
- 38:45Speaker 1: damn about minorities because he ain't. The end all right, Yeah,
- 38:54Speaker 1: you're getting better. I wanted to boo you, but you again,
- 39:01Speaker 1: see I'm in here, I got time you in the lab.
- 39:06Speaker 1: I want you to write about that treat Write about
- 39:08Speaker 1: that treatise. That's the next time, about the damn treaty.
- 39:12Speaker 1: So you have something to do during the quarantine. Yeah,
- 39:16Speaker 1: all right, coming up at thirty four minutes after the
- 39:19Speaker 1: Hour and Trending Political News. President Trump used the task
- 39:22Speaker 1: Force briefing to defend himself. We'll talk about it right
- 39:25Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show and Trending political news.
- 39:32Speaker 1: The President defended his actions, but he seemed very angry.
- 39:35Speaker 1: During yesterday's Pandemic Task Force briefing, the President tried to
- 39:40Speaker 1: rewrite history when he gave his response to the coronavirus
- 39:44Speaker 1: of why you know he started late when everybody's accusing
- 39:47Speaker 1: him of starting too late. Doctor Fauci was there to
- 39:51Speaker 1: explain to the press that the virus warnings, the virus
- 39:54Speaker 1: warnings timetables. The president can't take criticism. We all know
- 39:58Speaker 1: that he went on the Atta hack against the media, CNN,
- 40:01Speaker 1: New York Times and even Joe Biden. Uh. It is
- 40:05Speaker 1: clear that the President of the US is using the
- 40:08Speaker 1: daily coronavirus briefings as a campaign. Riley, I think, Raley,
- 40:13Speaker 1: I think we can all agree to that, because he's
- 40:16Speaker 1: on TV every day and this is you know, this
- 40:19Speaker 1: is his time to do that. He also showed a
- 40:22Speaker 1: campaign rally styled video to defend himself. It appears that
- 40:28Speaker 1: the president simply refused to acknowledge any of his mistakes. Well, yeah,
- 40:37Speaker 1: can we have these briefings without him? Just the doctor
- 40:41Speaker 1: and the other people, And he ain't even got to
- 40:43Speaker 1: come out. We don't need him come say nothing. No, Yeah,
- 40:46Speaker 1: He's gonna stand there because this is his make or
- 40:49Speaker 1: break moment. This will define his candidacy right here, candidates,
- 40:56Speaker 1: because this is the one of the biggest things that's
- 40:59Speaker 1: death has hit the globe in a long time. Yeah,
- 41:03Speaker 1: and he has the advantage because he is a president.
- 41:06Speaker 1: He does help hold these briefings. Joe Biden doesn't get
- 41:10Speaker 1: TV time like he does. You know. You know, well,
- 41:13Speaker 1: this is the election for Trump and he knows that. Yeah,
- 41:16Speaker 1: he knows that people are going to vote now on
- 41:20Speaker 1: based on this pandemic, based on this whole period. Thinking
- 41:24Speaker 1: of that, Wisconsin looks like remember last week when they
- 41:27Speaker 1: were standing out in the weather with their mass social distancing,
- 41:32Speaker 1: they still had to go primary primary. What looks like
- 41:34Speaker 1: the primary Joe Biden won that UM primary in Wisconsin.
- 41:39Speaker 1: Come on, come on over, and he running against nobody.
- 41:43Speaker 1: Bernie Official officially endorsed Joe Biden, saying, well, we need
- 41:48Speaker 1: you in the White House. Joe. You know, look, man, um, this,
- 41:53Speaker 1: this is, this has really gotten to a point. Now
- 41:58Speaker 1: he has to do something because what he was touting
- 42:02Speaker 1: as the best economy in the history in a long time,
- 42:07Speaker 1: I mean just in the history is now turning out
- 42:11Speaker 1: to be the worst economy. Now is this worst economy
- 42:15Speaker 1: his fault? No, it isn't because of the pandemic, but
- 42:20Speaker 1: it's happening under his watch. So you got to eat
- 42:24Speaker 1: this one, you know. Now, he is not about the
- 42:27Speaker 1: business of taking any blame for anything. We've seen this
- 42:31Speaker 1: over and over and over, and you can see him
- 42:33Speaker 1: and his party slowly making the twist and the flip
- 42:38Speaker 1: and the spin. Remember all the dude that used to
- 42:41Speaker 1: be on Fox Bill O'Reilly, Oh yeah, yes, the spin factor.
- 42:47Speaker 1: And that's that they're they're they're brilliant at this man,
- 42:51Speaker 1: and that's what they're doing now. Conservatives are calling for
- 42:54Speaker 1: the firing of doctor Fauci. Come on, why woun't you
- 42:58Speaker 1: get rid of him? Because this is the one brilliant
- 43:01Speaker 1: guy that's really being honest with the public. But if
- 43:05Speaker 1: your honesty goes against what the president is saying, they
- 43:09Speaker 1: go get you out of there, man, because you got
- 43:11Speaker 1: this guy looking bad. But he but he's the smartest
- 43:14Speaker 1: person in the room because that's what he did. Though
- 43:17Speaker 1: he did exactly that. He went against the president. When
- 43:21Speaker 1: doctor Fouchi said on Sunday that, of course if we
- 43:24Speaker 1: did mitigation earlier, that would have saved lives, well that's
- 43:27Speaker 1: common sense. Yeah, that isn't going against nobody. We all
- 43:31Speaker 1: noticed it. May the president look bad because all already
- 43:36Speaker 1: fighting the accusations that he started too late. He didn't react,
- 43:40Speaker 1: you know, he called it a hoax and all of that.
- 43:45Speaker 1: But it's not an accusation he started too late. There's
- 43:50Speaker 1: footage of him saying, it's a whole placed about it. Yeah,
- 43:55Speaker 1: we're gonna be fine people, We're gonna be fine. Yeah.
- 43:58Speaker 1: When April comes in, weather gets warmer, yeah, all of that. Yeah,
- 44:02Speaker 1: well it's April. It's like the flu. Yeah, it's the fluke. Yeah,
- 44:10Speaker 1: like the flu. Well, you can go to Steve Harvey
- 44:15Speaker 1: FM on Instagram and Facebook if you want to comment.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Coming up next, it is the nephew with today's prank
- 44:20Speaker 1: phone call. Right after this, you're listening to the Steve
- 44:24Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the top of the hour.
- 44:28Speaker 1: Right about four minutes after, it's my Strawberry letter forward
- 44:31Speaker 1: today the subject I have two perfect boyfriends. We'll get
- 44:36Speaker 1: into it. Wow, girl, we'll get into it coming up.
- 44:41Speaker 1: But first, Yeah, it is the nephew with today's prank
- 44:45Speaker 1: phone call. What do you have for us today? Nap,
- 44:48Speaker 1: I can't wait. I mean that twenty twenty Sharon, I
- 44:51Speaker 1: mean that twin Listen right here, Eels. Don't leave the
- 44:57Speaker 1: house again. Don't see leave the house again. Don't do it.
- 45:05Speaker 1: Let's go. Okay, that's simple. It's just that's simple. Hello. Yeah,
- 45:10Speaker 1: I'm trying to speak to Angel. Please listening, Angel. How
- 45:14Speaker 1: you doing? My name is Randy. I live in the
- 45:16Speaker 1: in the apartment building that you live in. How you
- 45:18Speaker 1: doing today? I'm doing? Okay? Something wrong? Well, we got
- 45:22Speaker 1: a little bit of a problem. I know it's a
- 45:24Speaker 1: lot going on right now, you know, with the with
- 45:26Speaker 1: the virus and all, but it's been brought to my attention.
- 45:30Speaker 1: I talked to the doorman and he was telling me,
- 45:34Speaker 1: you're the only person I've really seen going in and
- 45:36Speaker 1: out of the building. Where exactly do you work? If
- 45:39Speaker 1: you don't mind me asking, miss angel I actually do
- 45:42Speaker 1: mind you asking, Um, can you tell me why you're
- 45:46Speaker 1: concerned about where I work and where I'm going? Okay,
- 45:49Speaker 1: so here's a deal. Like, you know, we're all concerned about,
- 45:53Speaker 1: you know, this whole virus thing. I'm noticing you going
- 45:57Speaker 1: in and out this building every day. Every thing you're
- 46:00Speaker 1: going in and I noticed that. So I asked to
- 46:02Speaker 1: do a man about you, and he said something about
- 46:05Speaker 1: that you had to go to work or you, uh,
- 46:08Speaker 1: you know, you got one of those jobs that you
- 46:10Speaker 1: you got to be there or something like that. I
- 46:12Speaker 1: don't know, but yes, I'm an essential worker. But wait,
- 46:17Speaker 1: so where did you get my number from? I asked
- 46:20Speaker 1: around to a few of the neighbors that live on
- 46:22Speaker 1: your floor, and somebody I just told him I was
- 46:24Speaker 1: concerned I wanted to talk to you about. So my
- 46:27Speaker 1: problem is this, We're trying to keep this whole apartment
- 46:30Speaker 1: building safe, but you're going in and out of it
- 46:34Speaker 1: does not make it safe for us. You know, you
- 46:37Speaker 1: you kind of need to stay at home right now
- 46:39Speaker 1: until all of this is over. With are you telling
- 46:43Speaker 1: me what I need to do? Is what I'm telling
- 46:45Speaker 1: you what you need to do in the safety for
- 46:48Speaker 1: the apartment building. That's what I'm saying you. You you
- 46:51Speaker 1: don't need to lead this. You don't need to lead
- 46:52Speaker 1: a house no more. Oh I am not the one today. Listen.
- 46:57Speaker 1: Unless you are going to tell me that you are
- 46:59Speaker 1: going to pay my rent and my bills and take
- 47:02Speaker 1: care of my daughter, you need to mind your damn business.
- 47:05Speaker 1: I can come and go as I did more. Please, now,
- 47:07Speaker 1: you're not going to keep bringing to see. See that's
- 47:09Speaker 1: what that's my problem. And see, that's the attitude I
- 47:11Speaker 1: don't like. See if you're coming in and out of
- 47:14Speaker 1: this building bringing we don't know if you're bringing something
- 47:16Speaker 1: in here or not. That's the problem I have with this.
- 47:20Speaker 1: And that's why I'm calling a problem with eating food
- 47:23Speaker 1: every day because I work in a grocery store. Do
- 47:25Speaker 1: you have a problem with making sure that the shelves
- 47:27Speaker 1: are stocked? You work at the grocery store. I do
- 47:31Speaker 1: work at the grocery store. So you around all them people,
- 47:34Speaker 1: and then you're coming back to this apartment building, and
- 47:37Speaker 1: I'm also around all the food that you probably eat
- 47:40Speaker 1: what's your point the point and let you're hauled up
- 47:44Speaker 1: in there eating cantuna from two years ago, rice and beans.
- 47:47Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure your food came from the grocery store.
- 47:50Speaker 1: So as sentential workers like me are crucial to keep
- 47:53Speaker 1: those stores open, Listen, listen, I understand. But as far
- 47:59Speaker 1: as you know, I'm i'm I'm part of the team
- 48:03Speaker 1: that that that controls all the people in the building.
- 48:06Speaker 1: As far as the neighbors, I think I think you
- 48:10Speaker 1: misunderstand who you might think you are to me. You're
- 48:13Speaker 1: nobody to me. You're just a neighbor. You don't control anything.
- 48:17Speaker 1: You don't control where I go, who I go with,
- 48:19Speaker 1: when I go, when I come. You don't control any
- 48:21Speaker 1: of that. So I don't know what you think you
- 48:23Speaker 1: might control. Let me say this, end of the day.
- 48:27Speaker 1: You need to keep your ass at home until this
- 48:29Speaker 1: is over with. That's it. That's not You're gonna make
- 48:31Speaker 1: you waiting for you. I'll be waiting for that check
- 48:33Speaker 1: for the renting for my buildings. So when you fly
- 48:35Speaker 1: that underneath the door, I'll do as you leave. I'm
- 48:38Speaker 1: not coming. I'm not coming nowhere exactly. Let me say this,
- 48:45Speaker 1: if I if I see you lead you building again.
- 48:49Speaker 1: We're not letting you back in you are? Is this
- 48:55Speaker 1: you have lost your mind? Are you kidding me? No,
- 48:58Speaker 1: I'm not kidding you, because we see, see, see and see.
- 49:02Speaker 1: This is the attitude I don't like. Is somebody not
- 49:05Speaker 1: talking attitude you don't like? I pay rent here? I
- 49:09Speaker 1: have always paid rent here, and me and my daughter
- 49:11Speaker 1: live here and we mind our business. You weren't gonna
- 49:14Speaker 1: tell me when I go income and when I'm gonna
- 49:16Speaker 1: get into my own apartment, get out of here? What
- 49:18Speaker 1: is wrong with you? Listen? I'm gonna say this to you.
- 49:21Speaker 1: If you're not gonna abide by what I'm telling you
- 49:23Speaker 1: that I'm you already know, is you and your daughter
- 49:26Speaker 1: Christie up there? I would tell how both of you.
- 49:30Speaker 1: I don't have you and your daughter Christie? What what? Okay?
- 49:35Speaker 1: I don't know who do you think you were talking to?
- 49:37Speaker 1: But I know you are not saying my daughter's name.
- 49:40Speaker 1: You need to mind your mother's business. Me and my
- 49:42Speaker 1: child are my business. You and whoever is your business
- 49:46Speaker 1: need to stay over there and leave me and my
- 49:49Speaker 1: family alone. I cannot believe you up in here talking
- 49:51Speaker 1: about my kids? Are you wanting you wash your mind.
- 49:54Speaker 1: You must have wash your mind. What you need? Did
- 49:56Speaker 1: you say you listen? I didn't say you what unit
- 50:00Speaker 1: I lived in? I didn't say that. Okay, Well go
- 50:02Speaker 1: ahead and tell me because you got so much to
- 50:04Speaker 1: say and you got such a problem mama at okay,
- 50:07Speaker 1: Well we can have conversation face to face. How about
- 50:10Speaker 1: that whatever? While you was at work the other day,
- 50:13Speaker 1: I already talked to Christie. I was at work. What
- 50:15Speaker 1: if do you know my work schedule? Cause I see
- 50:19Speaker 1: you when you leave. But I talked. I talked to you.
- 50:22Speaker 1: I talked to your daughter Christie when you left the
- 50:24Speaker 1: other day. Okay, all right, so this is clearly a problem.
- 50:28Speaker 1: You got me stup because you need to mind your
- 50:31Speaker 1: business and I don't ed ber want to hear anything
- 50:35Speaker 1: about you think anything near my daughter. You clearly have
- 50:39Speaker 1: a sup Okay, But your daughter, your daughter Christie, is
- 50:43Speaker 1: the one that told me to call you. I am
- 50:45Speaker 1: sorry what your daughter Christie told me to call you?
- 50:49Speaker 1: May the fact she told me to prank call you.
- 50:52Speaker 1: This is nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morty Show. Angel.
- 50:55Speaker 1: You just got pranked by your daughter Christy. Girl. Wait
- 51:03Speaker 1: a minute, it's a joke. Angel, it's a joke. Baby.
- 51:13Speaker 1: Your daughter Christie got me to prank you. Baby. M okay,
- 51:17Speaker 1: y'all ain't right for this. I'm gonna get her. Oh okay, okay, okay,

- 54:18Speaker 1: Magazine Ladies and Gentlemen, The one Only and Now because
- 54:27Speaker 1: every letter, Thank you, sir, that was cool. Thank you girl,
- 54:32Speaker 1: thank you, thank you, thank you guys. Yeah, that's pretty cool.
- 54:38Speaker 1: Blessed all right? Subject wow, Subject I have two perfect boyfriends.
- 54:45Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I am a forty nine year old
- 54:48Speaker 1: divorced woman with two grown children. Two years ago, I
- 54:52Speaker 1: prayed the God send me a real good man and
- 54:55Speaker 1: life partner. I was dating with a purpose and I
- 54:58Speaker 1: had a list of nin negotiables and must have. Six
- 55:02Speaker 1: months into praying and dating, I met the most incredible
- 55:06Speaker 1: man and he checked off nine of the ten boxes
- 55:09Speaker 1: on my list. He lives in a different state, so
- 55:13Speaker 1: either I visited him or he comes to see me
- 55:16Speaker 1: twice a month. I was praying, but I wasn't being
- 55:19Speaker 1: stupid enough to put all of my eggs in one basket.
- 55:22Speaker 1: I kept dating men in my hometown. Shortly after I
- 55:26Speaker 1: met the first guy, I met another really incredible guy
- 55:30Speaker 1: that lives in my city, and he too, checked off
- 55:34Speaker 1: nine of the ten boxes on my list. I've been
- 55:37Speaker 1: seeing them both and having the best time. I was
- 55:41Speaker 1: waiting to see if one of them would switch up
- 55:43Speaker 1: and change so I wouldn't have a hard time dumping
- 55:46Speaker 1: one of them. But they have both remained consistently wonderful,
- 55:51Speaker 1: and I can honestly say that I love them both.
- 55:54Speaker 1: I have two of the best relationships that a woman
- 55:57Speaker 1: could dream of. There's no drama, no arguing, and no issues.
- 56:02Speaker 1: I know that I'm the only I know that I'm
- 56:05Speaker 1: the only woman that they are seeing and have keys
- 56:09Speaker 1: to their homes. I have keys to their homes. I
- 56:11Speaker 1: want this to work, and I even jokingly asked both
- 56:15Speaker 1: of them about a polyamorous relationship. They said that would
- 56:18Speaker 1: be great, but only if they could have more than
- 56:22Speaker 1: one woman. They both talk about marriage and how long
- 56:26Speaker 1: they have searched for a woman like me, I can't
- 56:28Speaker 1: decide which one would make the best life partner. I
- 56:32Speaker 1: don't want to hear a lecture about how I am
- 56:35Speaker 1: playing two men, because men do it all the time.
- 56:38Speaker 1: I'm having a lot of fun, but I need to
- 56:40Speaker 1: stop playing before they find out about each other. How
- 56:43Speaker 1: can I choose one over the other? Well, now, aren't
- 56:47Speaker 1: choo just living your best life? Well, you know many
- 56:53Speaker 1: women I'll say this, complain about not having or not
- 56:56Speaker 1: being able to find one good man. And hear you
- 57:00Speaker 1: are with two good boyfriends, perfect boyfriends, and how convenient
- 57:05Speaker 1: that one of them lives out of town. I mean,
- 57:09Speaker 1: how convenient is that one lives in town and one
- 57:12Speaker 1: lives out of town? So you know there won't be
- 57:15Speaker 1: any cross pollination or anything going on in your life.
- 57:19Speaker 1: You're right about you know. I can understand that you
- 57:21Speaker 1: don't want to hear a lecture about having two boyfriends,
- 57:24Speaker 1: because yes, men do it all the time and no
- 57:27Speaker 1: one says anything. Humh. But guess what, You're not a man,
- 57:31Speaker 1: and there is a double standard when it comes to this.
- 57:34Speaker 1: There is just a double standard in the world. But hey,
- 57:38Speaker 1: have your fun while you can, okay, because you know
- 57:41Speaker 1: this isn't going to last forever. You've already said you
- 57:44Speaker 1: need to stop before they find out. You've asked them
- 57:47Speaker 1: about a polyamorous relationship and they liked it, but only
- 57:52Speaker 1: if they could have more than one woman. And I
- 57:54Speaker 1: gotta ask you, did that make you think or feel anything? Like,
- 57:59Speaker 1: you know, while you're out of town, you know, especially
- 58:03Speaker 1: you're out of town guy, and while you're out of
- 58:04Speaker 1: town with him, maybe you know what's he doing when
- 58:07Speaker 1: you're not in town. Maybe he might be doing that. Anyway,
- 58:11Speaker 1: It's just a thought, just a thought. But to the
- 58:14Speaker 1: question of choosing one over the other, I just say,
- 58:17Speaker 1: only you can make that choice. You have to make
- 58:19Speaker 1: that decision. You know, ask yourself these questions. Which one
- 58:23Speaker 1: puts you first, Which one's actions lines up with his words?
- 58:27Speaker 1: Which one can you depend on the most? You know,
- 58:30Speaker 1: who treats you like a queen? Who do you think
- 58:33Speaker 1: will be a good father? Those are kind of the
- 58:34Speaker 1: things you think about when you're trying to, you know,
- 58:37Speaker 1: choose a life partner. So I mean, which one supports
- 58:41Speaker 1: your dreams? So if one of those fits all that criteria,
- 58:45Speaker 1: then you know you know which one that is. And
- 58:47Speaker 1: like I said, only you can make that choice, Steve. Yeah, Well,
- 58:53Speaker 1: I have two perfect boyfriends. I normally don't do this,
- 58:55Speaker 1: but I'm gonna start at the bottom of the letter.
- 58:58Speaker 1: How can I choose one one over the other? First
- 59:01Speaker 1: of all, let me say I'm having a lot of fun,
- 59:04Speaker 1: but I need to stop playing before they find out
- 59:06Speaker 1: about each other. How can I choose one over the other? Well,
- 59:11Speaker 1: I really don't give a damn. I really don't. I
- 59:15Speaker 1: don't don't. I really don't give a damn about this
- 59:20Speaker 1: problem that you wrote in that you're having. This is
- 59:23Speaker 1: a problem. You create it yourself, and you're having fun
- 59:29Speaker 1: and you don't want know lecchell, so what you write
- 59:32Speaker 1: me for. I don't give a damn who you choose.
- 59:37Speaker 1: I don't give a damn who find out. But I
- 59:41Speaker 1: tell you what I will do when we come back, though,
- 59:43Speaker 1: I will tell you something in here that you didn't
- 59:47Speaker 1: write in here. But I'm inform you about something about
- 59:49Speaker 1: me and sister, because once you play this game with men,
- 59:53Speaker 1: you messing with somebody who played this game for real.
- 59:57Speaker 1: Men are not as smart as women. But we all
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: ain't really that damn dumb. Though, Thank you, I appreciate
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: that you just need to tell you that as smart
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: as women, but we ain't really that damn dumb, though,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: And you need to understand that system. And that's it's
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: in your letter, and I'm gonna give it back to
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: you when we come back. All right, Steve, we'll have
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: part two of your response coming up at twenty three
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. Subject of today's strawberry letter, I
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: have two perfect boyfriends. We'll get back into it right
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show a right Steve, Come on,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter. I have two perfect boyfriends.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: Like I said after I read the bottom of the letter,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: I'm having a lot of fun, but I need to
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: stop playing for they find out about each other. How
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: can I choose one over the other? And I said
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: before we went on, I don't give a damn I don't.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: I don't kill which one you pick? I don't because
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: y'all see, And how can I choose one any other?
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: Like I said it earlier, women are smarter than men,
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: But men ain't that dumb though. And now I'm thin
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: to walk you through this letter and show you what
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: I'm talking about. Now, you forty nine years old, you
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: divorced woman with two grown children. Here's what I don't
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: care about this lady. Two years ago, I prayed that
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: God send me a real good man and a life partner.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: I was dating with a purpose, and I had a
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: list of non negotiable and must have six. Most into
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: praying and dating, I met the most incredible man and
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: he checked off nine of the ten boxes of my list.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: He lives in a different states, so either I visit
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: him or he comes see me twice a month. God
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: answering your prayers. I was praying, but I wasn't being
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: stupid enough to put all my eggs in one basket.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: Pump your brains. You mean to tell me now that
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: you prayed to God for something. God gave it to you.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: But now you don't trust God. Now you think God
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: needs some help from you. You think that your decisions
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: it's better than God's decisions. That's what you think. So
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: after you've been praying all this time, Lord, Jesus, Father God,
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: I wasn't stupid enough to put all my What you
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: really said was I wasn't stupid enough to just accept
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: that one prayer as being answered. So just what you did,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: so I kept dating me and in my hometown. You've
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: been praying to God, so if he send it to you,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: he perfect. What's did you added this complication? You drug
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: this other man into this after God gave you what
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: you asked for. But finish show you something now. Short
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: after I met this guy, I met another really incredible
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: guy that lives in my city, and he too checked
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: off nine out of the ten boxes on you lift. Now,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: one of these men is from God, the other one
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: is from you and your greed. Now, I'm just telling
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: you what I see in this letter. I've been seeing
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: them both and having the best time. I was waiting
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: to see if one of them would switch up and
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: change so I wouldn't have a hard time dumping one
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: of them. But they have both remained consistently wonderful, and
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: I can honestly say that I love both of them. Congratulations, lady,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: I have two of the best relationships that a woman
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: could dream of. There's no drama, no argument, no issue.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: Now here we go this one, Finn, teach yourself. I
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: know that I'm the only woman that they are seeing,
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: and I have keys to their homes. Well, listen, you
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: got a key to the man's house. That's out of town.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: That's the one God answered the prayer for first, and
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: you had you added to say, you got keys to
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: a guy's house side of town. Okay, you got keys
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: to a guy's house locally. Okay, that don't mean that's
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: his only place. I know a whole lot of dudes
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: got to two places, a home and in a fully
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: furnished apartment. You might have a key to the fully
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: furnished apartment. I don't know. I'm just saying but that
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: you got keys that don't prove nothing. I want this
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: to work. And I even jokingly here you feel to
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: learn something. I want this to work. And I even
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: jokingly asked both of them about a poly polyamorous relationship.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: That foolishness, they said. Now here we go. They said
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: that would be great, but only if they could have
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: more than one woman. What wait a minute later, you
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: pray to God for something, He gives it to you.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: You introduce another man on top of what God gave you.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: Then God gives you a great relationship, and then you
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: throw some of your own mess into great relationship. And say,
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: I asked them both if they want to poly so
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: it does it? Surely polyamorous? I don't even want that foolishness.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: That's why I don't even learn stuff like that. I
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: want a polyamorous relationship. They said it would be great,
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: but only if they could have more than one woman.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: Somebody don't care about you, because now I'm gonna teach
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: you something about man. A man that really really loves
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: a woman. Don't want to share the woman I love
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: can't be in another man's arms. That's too much, So somebody,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: because you can. You've introduced something on top of a
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: something you prayed for. You've introduced another relationship. Now you
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: got these two perfect relationships and you want to introduce
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: them to one another. But they don't know about each other,
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: and you jokingly. You ain't jokingly, you're fishing. And now
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: they said they'd be great, but only if they could
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: have more than one woman. You missed that they both
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: talk about marriage and how long they have searched for
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: a woman like me. I can't decide which one will
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: make the best life, Pardner. I don't want to lecture
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: about how I'm played. I ain't gonna get you no lecture.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: But this gonna blow up in your face because men
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: do it all the time and don't they blow up
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: in their face all the time. Just gonna blow up
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: in your face. So have a lot of good ass fun.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: Because you can't pray for God to give you something,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: then he give it to you, then you act like
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: you're gonna double down on that to coverage. Oh you
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: don't know what a blessing is? All right? Thank you, Steve.
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: Post comments on Today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey FM
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: on Instagram and Facebook, and check out the Strawberry Letter
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: podcast on Demanding This by Schumiko. NASCAR driver Kyle Lawson
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: appears to be having some difficulty because he said the
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: N word. M We'll talk about it when we come back.
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening to Day Morning Show. NASCAR
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: driver Kyle Larson has some big problems. Guys. He's twenty
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: seven years old. He said the N word during a
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: virtual race on Easter Sunday. Larson, who drives the number
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: forty two car during the NASCAR Cup Series, was competing
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: in an eye racing event. It was streamed live to thousands,
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: I mean thousands of people on Twitch now. After crashing
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: during lap six, Larson apparently had a difficult time communicating
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: with the other drivers and that's when things got bad.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: He said, I can't see it. You hear me? Hey
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: in word? Larson said casually. Another individual involved in the
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: race said to him, Kyle, you're talking to everyone but
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: Kyle Larson, whose mother is Japanese American, was a member
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: of NASCAR's Drive for Diversity initiative. Two major sponsors have
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: just cut the ties with Larson. Was it any black
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: people that was driving? Who was he talking to? His crew?
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: Was talking other drivers to some more white people. Yeah,
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: there was a lot of people talking, thousands of people.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: Who was the word? It's what I'm trying to say.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: Who was he talking to? You see, he thought he
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: was just talking in his apology now, he thought he
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: was just talking to his crew, but he was informed
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: by some other people. Kyle, everybody can hear They can
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: hear you, bud. So then he issued out, dude, do
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: we have the apology. Let's let's take a listen here
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: it is. Yeah, I just want to say I'm sorry. Um,
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: you know, last night I made a mistake and said
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: the word that should never ever be said. And um,
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: there's no excuse for that. You know, I wasn't raised
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: that way. You know, it's just an awful thing to say,
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: and I feel very sorry for my family, my friends,
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: my partners, the NASCAR community, and especially the African American community.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: You know, I understand the damage. It is probably unreparable,
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: and you know I own up to that, um. But
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: I just wanted to let you all know how sorry
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: I am. And you know I hope everybody is staying
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: safe during these crazy times. Thank you. You're gonna bring
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: up Corona he in trouble, Well, let let me say this.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: He's got suspended too, with what he got suspended from NASCAR. Yes, uh,
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: NASCAR has suspended him. The Eye Racing team suspended him
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: without pay. I have so many bigger things that I'm
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: dealing with right now. It's out there in so many
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: public veins now, But I don't his apology he can
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: save it, because I don't like people that say I
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: said a word that should never be said. It's an
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: awful thing to say. But you said it though, Yeah,
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: you know, so if it should never be said, where
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: it come You wasn't raised that way? Where it comes
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: from your partner. I'm not saying your parents did it,
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: but you picked it up somewhere on something. So and
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: bring us the keys to that car. I got. All right,
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: we'll talk about it Part two coming up right after this.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: You're listening, okay, So Stephen, we left. We were talking
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: about NASCAR race car driver Kyle Larson, who uh said
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: he mistakenly said the N word while he was playing
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: a virtual race game. No, listen, yeah, this is a
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: virtual race game. He was saying. I've been around several
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: NAS car events. I've gone to some speedways. When we
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: were did in the movie Racing Stripes, I had to
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: do some promotions down there at speedways. I've been to
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: Richard Petty's place, met with him his entire family at
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: Victory Ranch, one of the most outstanding facilities I've ever
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: seen for disabled kids to come and be able to
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: do everything that ordinary kids do. I mean, if you
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: want a bowl, if you want to rock climb, if
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: you're in a wheelchair, you want a horseback round, whatever
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: you want to do. They have a facility where disabled
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: kids can do anything that able body people can do. Right.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: I've been around Dale earned her Junior. I've been around uh,
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: Jeff Gordon. I've been around several of these guys, some
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: of them some of the coolest people on the planet.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: So this ain't against Nascar. Does NASCAR have a lot
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: of blacks in it? Now? Have they been trying to
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: find a way to increase diversity? Yeah, but if you
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: go to a NASCAR event, not really a lot of
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: rebel flags at these events, and it ain't the most
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: family friendly atmosphere. Are you saying you may hear the
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: N word? Yeah? And so this dudes a potology about
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: it should never be said. You said it, and when
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: you say it in a public form like that with
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: a helmet and in a moment like that, it's because
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: you said it before. I am telling you it is
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: said all the time. The problem is he lets somebody head,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: Yeah he got caught. The thing is the word is
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: a racial slur. It just is. Okay, it is. But
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: you know what the thing is, y'all, is that Hispanic
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: people say it to each other. White boys say it
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: to each other. We say it to each other, and
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: that's why, and that's the issue. But you have so
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: many different ethnicity groups that are saying it to each
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: other all the time. I hear white boys calling each
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: other that all the time. I hear Spanish guys said
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: all the time to each other. A lot. But I
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: know what exists because I've watched things and I hear things, right,
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: I see the ops. Tommy's absolutely correct. It's in music.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: And let me say this the new trend too. I'm
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: gonna tell you TikTok videos, these kids that dance with
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: TikTok is. I'm around younger kids. And when you look
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: at these videos and you see these songs, these kids
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: are dancing, singing, and it's all that for a while.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: They have absolutely and so I don't spend in music forever.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: And I don't think a guy should lose his career now.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: If you're in a different field, if you're a news
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: anchor person, someone that issues out authoritative information, you're in politics,
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: that's a different business. That's a different business. You're a
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: sports athlete and all that. Man, I ain't man. You've
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: been in locker rooms before, Yeah, and you've been around
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: and that's what they do. And Tommy's right, he's one right.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: White dudes call each other that now, Latinos call each
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: other that. Now. I saw an Asian dude talking to
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: another Asian dude and saying that one time I see
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: him in the car when I pull up next to him,
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: and they'd be banging that music just saying it. I
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: can't get I can't say nothing if you yeah, if
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: you call me an N word, I want you to
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: understand something. As soon as I hear it, expect something.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: Just expect something. You're not gonna give it to me free.
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: I've never taken it free from a non black ever
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: in my life sixty three years, and I have been
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: in uh four racial fights in college over it and
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: two afterwards. So I've been in about six in my life.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: But if you call me that, it's on and crack it.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: I give you my word on it. All right til
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: we'll be back with more of it. Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: Show coming up at twenty minutes after the hour. Right
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: after this you're listening Morning Show. Well, doctor Anthony Fauci,
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: head doctor of the Coronavirus Pandemic Task Force, went on
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: the record saying that people should just forget about shaking hands. Okay,
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: even after COVID nineteen is over. He said, forget about it.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: He went on to say, we've got to break that custom.
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: Got to ask the guys, what are we going to do? Um,
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: we go back out there to greet people, say hey,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: what do our humans and we like that human contact.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: Hey black, we're gonna come up with some so dope.
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: I'm just waiting the boys up in New York, Brooklyn,
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: Bronx harm. They're gonna come up with some. It's gonna
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: be nice. The official Black People. One of these, one
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: of these young young boy's gonna come up with a
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: dope way to do it. Yeah, they're thinking about it now.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: When the Obamas came up with the fist bump and people,
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: you know what, maybe maybe we could do like maybe
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: we could do like lebron them do before they get
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: in the game. You see all that crazy stuff they do,
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: but but do it without touching. It's it's a possible way.
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: It's almost like a little dance they do. Well you
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: unless she didn't you game, we see each other, we're
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: gonna dance. I think when we see each other we
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: are a docy dough do the wobble by the hand,
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: swing around like hey man, I see that. Come on, now,
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: let's gold flow. Now you gotta come up with something.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: We'll be back and with more of the Steve Harvey
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: Morning Show and some trending stories at thirty three minutes
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: after the hour right after this, you're listening Steve Harvey
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: Morning Show and trending political news. The President defended his actions,
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: but he seemed very grey. During yesterday's Pandemic Task Force briefing,
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: the President tried to rewrite history when he gave his
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: response to the coronavirus of why you know he started
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: late when everybody's accusing him of starting too late. Doctor
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: Fauci was there to explain to the press that the
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: virus warnings, the virus warnings timetables. The President can't take criticism.
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: We all know that he went on the attack against
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: the media, CNN, New York Times and even Joe Biden.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: It is clear that the President of the US is
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: using the daily coronavirus briefings as a campaign. Riley, I
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: think rally. I think we can all agree to that,
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: because he's on TV every day and this is you know,
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: this is his time to do that. He also showed
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: a campaign rally styled video to defend himself. It appears
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: that the President simply refused to acknowledge any of his mistakes. Well, yeah,
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: he always can. We have these briefings without him, just
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: the doctor and the other people, and he ain't even
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: got to come out. We don't need him to come
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: say nothing. He's gonna stand there because this is his
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: make or break moment. This will define his candidacy right here, Candida,
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: because this is the one of the biggest things that
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: has hit the globe in a long time. Yeah, and
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: he has the advantage because he is a president. He
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: does help hold these briefings. Joe Biden doesn't get TV
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: time like he does. You know, you know, well, this
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: is the election for Trump. He knows that people are
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: going to vote now based on this pandemic, based on
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: this whole thinking of that Wisconsin looks like remember last
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: week when they were standing out in the weather with
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: their mass social distancing, they still had to go primary primary.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: What looks like the primary Joe Biden won that UM
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: primary in Wisconsin. Come it's over and he running against nobody.
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: Bernie Office officially endorsed Joe Biden, saying, well, we need
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: you in the White House. Joe. You know, look, man, Um,
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: this this is this has really gotten to a point.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: Now he has to do something because what he was
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: touting as the best economy in the history in a
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: long time is now turning out to be the worst
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: economy because of the pandemic. But it's happening under his watch,
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: so you got to eat this one now. He is
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: not about the business of taking any blame for anything.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: We've seen this over and over and over, and you
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: can see him and his party slowly making the twist
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: and the flip and the spin. Remember the dude that
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: used to be on Fox Bill O'Reilly, Yes, the spin Factor.
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: They're brilliant at this man. Coming up our last break
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: of the day, Break of the day, perfection Steve Harvey
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: from him and of course I know, and of course
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: some closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: coming up right after this. You're listening to Steve Morning Show.
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: All right, here we are, last break of the day,
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: as promised. It's been a good day. Good Tuesday. Huh yeah, yeah,
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: we're making it every day. Yes we are. Time with
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: this last break? Why, Junior, So we're going back to quiet?
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: Oh yeah, back to watching the tree, y'all gonna go.
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna go, fully We I did fly, Ben Junie.
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: That's what I'm gonna do. I got me something to do.
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: You've got something to do. What you're gonna do? Hut? Here,
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: I'm gonna try to see if I can see the
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: house on the other side. Stop watching your neighborhood. I need.
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna just go see if I can go see
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: the yad that first time I ever saw the other house.
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: So yeah, I'm gonna go see if I can go
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: see the house. Now, we know it's hard, but enjoy
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: this time that you have away because it's not going
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: to last forever. This too, Shell pass this too, and
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: we'll be talking about remember to memory soon. Yeah remember when,
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: back when y'all remember Corona, remember we had Remember. But
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: I actually think we should do this once a year.
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: I think a month of lockdown to be good for
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: everybody in their families. I didn't to get a break, Yeah,
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: take take take a break from the world and talking
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: to get the hell out of here, Junior. Ain't with that.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: That was Thomas. That was Thomas, my house, My bad.
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: I slipped out of time, my bad. Lock ourself down
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: for another month. You ain't gonna make it, Julia. But
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: people have somebody charge against me. Yeah. People do want
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: to get back and go to work and stuff so
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: they can make some money so they can take care
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: of their families. Yeah, yeah, but I'm with Tommy with Hato. Yeah,
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: we could do it with Hey. Yeah I didn't hear
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: that part. Yeah, yeah, with Hey put that in there. Yeah,
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: it's been time with your families. Yeah. But you know,
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: all in this time right here, I've I've really decided
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: and I'm trying to implore people to take a positive
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: attitude about all of this. Now, listen, ones to this thing.
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: I mean, my heart goes out to you. Uh. This
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: has been an invisible thing that has happened across the world.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: This isn't you know. They they talk about hot spots,
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: but this this is worldwide, you know. But I've got
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: friends all in different parts of the globe, you know,
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: in the UAE and Africa. You know, I got friends
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: in the Bahamas, i got friends in Brazil. I got
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: some friends in the pan Asian countries. But you know, man,
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: I look at all of this and there is a
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: bright side, because this too shall pass. You know, you
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: have to understand that you've got to fix your mind
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: to deal with what's going on out here. You've got
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: to get an understanding pertaining to your situation, and you
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: got to first come to the realization that this thing
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: that's happening to all of us. Ain't just happening to you.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: See say it like that, this thing that's happening to
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: all of us, it stops you from thinking this is
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: only happening to you. It's amazing, man, how people can
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: compartmentalize this situation and make it all about them, Like
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: you're the only one, ain't going to work, Like you're
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: the only one, ain't missing a check, Like you are
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: not the only one that's quarantine. You're not the only
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: one that's happen to become a homeschool teacher. You're not
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: the only one feeling stuck. It's everybody. But why are
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: some people complaining and others are not well? Because it's
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: almost like the old saying, you can look at your
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: glass half empty, or you can look at your glass
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: half full. I happen to be the half fool guy.
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: I happen to look at this thing with the hope
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: that that God I served it's doing something on my behalf.
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: That when he brings me through this like he has
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: brought me through everything else, that when I get to
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: the other side of this, that will be the glory
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: for it, that will be the miracle, that will be
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: the major developments and learnings and blessing and everything that
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: I need on the other side of this, And this
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: is what's going to happen to millions of people. Do
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: you hear me? Millions of people are going to come
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: out of this on the other side and be more
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: grateful and become more appreciative and become more acutely aware
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: of their surroundings and what's really important to them. I
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: don't know why God slowed the world down at this
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: particular time. I don't know, but something's going on. And
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: God always does things with a purpose in mind. He
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: has a mission. And I always wanted to be the
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: type of soldier who I paid attention to the voice
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: when I heard it that I always try to tune
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: myself to the mission. Have I always done it? No?
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: I haven't. No, I haven't. But I am at my
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: absolute level best when I pay attention to his voice.
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: I am at my absolute best. When I yield to
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: his word, I am at my absolute best when I
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: lean on his promises. That's when I'm at my absolute best.
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: God is at his absolute best when you are in
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: the middle of your absolute worst. I've never seen him
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: not show up on time. I've never not seen him
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: failed to deliver the package. I've never not seen him
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: promise to keep his promises that he made. I've never
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: seen him fail, not one single time. I've never seen
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: God fail or heard of it, not one single time.
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: And this is just one of those times. As difficult
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: as it is, there's a victory for those that believe.
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: I happen to believe. I'm looking for the victory. I'm
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: looking for the bright side, delighted the end of the tunnel.
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: God has been good to me all these years. Why
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: would he stop now? I don't believe that those are
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: my clothes are remarks, Oh okay. Night. For all Steve
