Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Chinese and Cuban Communists FUNDING Anti-Israel Protests
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is verdict with Senator Ted Cruz. Ben Ferguson with you, Senator.
- 0:05Speaker 2: It's amazing. The left has been obsessed for years about
- 0:09Speaker 2: foreign interference in this country and obviously in elections, and
- 0:13Speaker 2: they went with all the big Russia hoaks with Donald Trump.
- 0:17Speaker 2: But now we have a story with two major countries
- 0:21Speaker 2: that are having significant influence in America right now and
- 0:27Speaker 2: no one's talking about it much.
- 0:28Speaker 3: Let's cover it well, Ben, That's right, and what we're
- 0:31Speaker 3: going to talk about in today's podcast is something that
- 0:33Speaker 3: you will not see on the news that is not
- 0:35Speaker 3: getting covered anywhere, which is the direct involvement of communist
- 0:40Speaker 3: China and communist Cuba in the anti Israel, anti Semitic,
- 0:46Speaker 3: anti American protests that are happening across this country. And
- 0:51Speaker 3: this is look that there have been two reports that
- 0:54Speaker 3: have come out in the last week that are tracing
- 0:57Speaker 3: the money from communist China, the act divist from communist
- 1:01Speaker 3: Cuba that are driving this, and again the media is
- 1:05Speaker 3: ignoring it. It's why this podcast matters because we're going
- 1:09Speaker 3: to cover and lay out the evidence that is going
- 1:11Speaker 3: to trouble you deeply that America's enemies want this country
- 1:16Speaker 3: ripped apart, and they are funding the mayhem we are
- 1:19Speaker 3: seeing on our college campuses. They are trying to destroy
- 1:22Speaker 3: this country, and sadly, there are a whole lot of
- 1:25Speaker 3: elected Democrats in Washington who are on board with that.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Yeah, and the worst part is they probably think they're
- 1:32Speaker 2: getting a really good return on this investment.
- 1:34Speaker 1: We're going to expose it all.
- 1:36Speaker 2: There's something else I love about doing this show, and
- 1:39Speaker 2: it is that we get to tell you about incredible
- 1:42Speaker 2: organizations and groups that are doing amazing things. And one
- 1:45Speaker 2: of those groups is Preborn. If you take your hand
- 1:49Speaker 2: and you put it over your heart, you can hear,
- 1:52Speaker 2: you can feel your heartbeat telling you that you're alive. Well,
- 1:56Speaker 2: it is the same for a preborn baby. Their heart
- 1:59Speaker 2: begins to form at conception, and at just three weeks
- 2:02Speaker 2: it is already beating. A five weeks of baby's heartbeat
- 2:05Speaker 2: can be heard on an ultrasound, and that's where you
- 2:08Speaker 2: come in. We partner with Preborn because we need to
- 2:11Speaker 2: help these precious babies. And every day, Preborn's network of
- 2:15Speaker 2: clinic rescues two hundred babies from abortions. Because when a
- 2:21Speaker 2: mother with an unplanned pregnancy meets her baby on ultrasound
- 2:26Speaker 2: and here's her baby's heartbeat. It is a divine encounter
- 2:30Speaker 2: that doubles a baby's chance at life, meaning that mother
- 2:35Speaker 2: is going to choose life. This is exactly why I
- 2:39Speaker 2: want you to partner with Preborn. For just twenty eight dollars,
- 2:43Speaker 2: you could be the difference between the life or death
- 2:45Speaker 2: of a child. And all gifts are tax deductible. You
- 2:48Speaker 2: can donate and it's easy by dialing pound two fifty
- 2:53Speaker 2: and just say the keyword baby. That's pound two fifty,
- 2:57Speaker 2: say the keyword baby, and also donate securely at preborn
- 3:02Speaker 2: dot com slash verdict. That's preborn dot com slash verdict.
- 3:08Speaker 2: And if you want to just dial pound two fifty
- 3:11Speaker 2: and say the keyword baby, it is that easy. You
- 3:14Speaker 2: can help save a baby's life. Today, Center, let's talk
- 3:19Speaker 2: about the bigger overview picture. We have known for quite
- 3:25Speaker 2: some time, but it's really come out recently that there
- 3:28Speaker 2: was a lot of money coming in from foreign nations
- 3:31Speaker 2: that are advisaris US into college campuses. We now see
- 3:35Speaker 2: what they were buying, which was they were buying influence
- 3:38Speaker 2: over a generation. We see massive donations that went into
- 3:41Speaker 2: the Biden Pen Center for example, directly from China, and
- 3:45Speaker 2: now we're saying that it's not just buying influence to
- 3:48Speaker 2: change hearts and minds of college students at the ivy
- 3:51Speaker 2: leagues and other schools. But now they moved into direct
- 3:54Speaker 2: activism with these campus protests, which seems to be phase
- 3:59Speaker 2: two of their plan.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Ben that's exactly right. There's a major report that came
- 4:04Speaker 3: out on Monday this week from NCRI. NCRI is the
- 4:08Speaker 3: Network Contagion Research Institute. This is the same group that
- 4:12Speaker 3: put out the empirical studies of TikTok and how the
- 4:15Speaker 3: Chinese Communist government was pushing communist propaganda on TikTok and
- 4:19Speaker 3: it led to ultimately Congress passing the legislation forcing the
- 4:23Speaker 3: Chinese Communist government either to sell TikTok or shut down
- 4:26Speaker 3: in the US. So NCRA is NCRI rather, there's a
- 4:30Speaker 3: serious organization that does serious research. The report they put out,
- 4:35Speaker 3: I want to go into it in detail because getting
- 4:37Speaker 3: very little coverage and it should get a lot of coverage.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Here's how it begins.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Quote.
- 4:43Speaker 3: This report analyzes the activities and foreign connections of the
- 4:46Speaker 3: Shut It Down for Palestine SID four P movement since
- 4:51Speaker 3: its formation in October twenty twenty three. It examines SID
- 4:55Speaker 3: four p's use of protests, direct action initiatives, and sophisticated
- 4:59Speaker 3: media camp to advance anti America and anti Israel narratives
- 5:04Speaker 3: both online and offline. Additionally, it highlights the involvement of
- 5:09Speaker 3: a network link to the Chinese Communist Party that funds
- 5:13Speaker 3: and supports both alternative, anti establishing media organizations promoting anti
- 5:18Speaker 3: American initiatives, as well as seemingly grassroots activist movements such
- 5:23Speaker 3: as including SID four P. So here are the key
- 5:28Speaker 3: takeaways and assessments. Number one SID four p's emergence. Shut
- 5:34Speaker 3: It Down for Palestine is an anti capitalist, anti police,
- 5:38Speaker 3: and anti government protest movement that emerged after October seventh,
- 5:42Speaker 3: twenty twenty three. It functions as a hybrid online real
- 5:45Speaker 3: world network for mobilizing frequent demonstrations as well as a
- 5:51Speaker 3: gradually escal escalating direct action campaigns targeting critical infrastructure.
- 5:57Speaker 1: And public spaces. Two.
- 6:01Speaker 3: SID four p's ties to CCP linked entities, conveners or
- 6:06Speaker 3: organizations operating under the SID four P umbrella are members
- 6:11Speaker 3: of the Singham Network donor portfolio. The Singham Network is
- 6:16Speaker 3: a global network global web of nonprofits fiscal sponsors and
- 6:20Speaker 3: alternative news sources tied to Neville Roy Singham, a known
- 6:25Speaker 3: conduit for CCP geopolitical influence.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Three.
- 6:31Speaker 3: SID four p's funding. The Singham Network exploits regulatory loopholes
- 6:36Speaker 3: in the US nonprofit system to facilitate the flow of
- 6:40Speaker 3: enormous sum of US dollars to organizations and movements that
- 6:44Speaker 3: actively stoke social unrest at the grassroots level. Four Alternative
- 6:51Speaker 3: media and social media strategy. Alternative media outlets associated with
- 6:55Speaker 3: Singham Network have played a central role in online mobilization
- 6:59Speaker 3: and cross play platform social amplification for SID four P
- 7:03Speaker 3: and five ties to extremist groups. SID four P has
- 7:09Speaker 3: ties to extremist groups that embrace a violent single state
- 7:12Speaker 3: resolution to the Israeli Palestinian conflict. At least one SID
- 7:17Speaker 3: four P convener is linked to the extreme edge of
- 7:21Speaker 3: pro Palestinian groups operating in the US that advance anti
- 7:25Speaker 3: American and anti Jewish agendas.
- 7:29Speaker 2: This is next level, and it's obviously being orchestrated at
- 7:34Speaker 2: the highest levels within these governments. And it's not just China,
- 7:38Speaker 2: it's also Cuba that is involved in this as well.
- 7:43Speaker 2: And this seems to be part two of their master plan.
- 7:46Speaker 2: China and I'm guessing on this one, but based on
- 7:50Speaker 2: what we've seen from disclosures on donations, probably is giving
- 7:54Speaker 2: more money to American universities than any other nation would
- 7:59Speaker 2: be my guess. They're not the top. They're probably one,
- 8:02Speaker 2: two or three. I can't even imagine who would be
- 8:04Speaker 2: above them. We see massive money coming into the Ivy League's,
- 8:07Speaker 2: massive money that came in the Biden pen Center.
- 8:10Speaker 1: The list goes on and on.
- 8:11Speaker 2: But this is almost like, Okay, how do we infiltrate
- 8:14Speaker 2: a country, how do we change the opinion of the
- 8:17Speaker 2: people in that country, and then how do we have
- 8:21Speaker 2: literally have revolutions in that country? And they're doing it
- 8:25Speaker 2: all in front of our very eyes and no one
- 8:27Speaker 2: seems to be stopping it.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Well, that that is right, And if you look at
- 8:31Speaker 3: this report from NCRI, it details how China is spending
- 8:36Speaker 3: millions upwards up potentially one hundred million dollars funding these
- 8:41Speaker 3: protests that are occurring on campuses, that are shutting down bridges,
- 8:45Speaker 3: that are shutting down airports. And you might think, Okay,
- 8:48Speaker 3: what does China care about Hamas? What does China care
- 8:52Speaker 3: about Israel? And the truth of the matter, is they don't,
- 8:54Speaker 3: But they care about America. They care about tearing our
- 8:56Speaker 3: country apart. They care about chaos and and fomenting dissent
- 9:01Speaker 3: and dissension that paralyzes our country. Let me read another
- 9:05Speaker 3: portion from this report from the NCRI.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Quote.
- 9:08Speaker 3: On the evening of April thirtieth, twenty twenty four, over
- 9:11Speaker 3: one hundred activists gathered at the People's Forum, a far
- 9:15Speaker 3: left nonprofit in Manhattan that describes itself as a quote
- 9:18Speaker 3: movement incubator for working class and marginalized communities, to discuss
- 9:23Speaker 3: the ongoing gaza encampments on university campuses. The activists called
- 9:28Speaker 3: on Columbia protesters to recreate the civil unrest associated with
- 9:33Speaker 3: quote the Summer of twenty twenty remember the Summer of Love.
- 9:37Speaker 3: Hours later, Columbia University's Hamilton Hall was forcibly occupied and barricaded.
- 9:44Speaker 3: After the hall was subsequently cleared by law enforcement, the
- 9:47Speaker 3: New York Police Department reported finding industrial grade chains, gas masks, earplugs, helmets, goggles, hammers, knives,
- 9:57Speaker 3: and ropes. Following processing. The w Washington Post reported per
- 10:01Speaker 3: NYPD that more than twenty five percent of the arrest
- 10:05Speaker 3: at Columbia University and sixty percent at the City College
- 10:08Speaker 3: of New York were not students. This is communist China
- 10:15Speaker 3: paying real money to disrupt America and to sow dissension.
- 10:21Speaker 3: And by the way, this group of conveners, I'll read
- 10:25Speaker 3: another portion of the report. SID four P was established
- 10:29Speaker 3: and structured against the backdrop of increased pro Palestinian activism
- 10:32Speaker 3: starting October twenty twenty three.
- 10:35Speaker 1: On November first.
- 10:37Speaker 3: SID four P officially registered its domain shut it down
- 10:40Speaker 3: for Palestine dot org and launched its site by November sixth.
- 10:44Speaker 3: By November ninth, SID four P publicly list its seven
- 10:48Speaker 3: core organizations referred to as conveners, as well as numerous
- 10:52Speaker 3: organizations referred to as endorsers, reflecting the confluence of far
- 10:57Speaker 3: left and pro Palestinian radical activism. The official SID four
- 11:01Speaker 3: P conveners include the following groups. One The People's Forum,
- 11:04Speaker 3: two Answer Coalition, three the International People's Assembly, four al
- 11:10Speaker 3: Ada New York, five the National Students for Justice in
- 11:13Speaker 3: Palestine NSJP, six the Palestinian Youth Movement, and seven the
- 11:18Speaker 3: Palestinian American Community Center, New Jersey. The seven conveners of
- 11:23Speaker 3: SID four P can be divided into two distinct groupings
- 11:26Speaker 3: based on ideological affiliation and fiscal sponsorship. The coalition's far
- 11:31Speaker 3: left members, namely the People's Forum IPA and Answer Coalition
- 11:35Speaker 3: demonstrates significant financial, personnel, and operational overlap. The remaining four
- 11:40Speaker 3: conveners are all pro Palestinian activist organizations, with at least
- 11:44Speaker 3: two NSJP and al Adwa known to have ties to
- 11:49Speaker 3: US designated terrorist organizations. In addition to NSJP and al ADA,
- 11:57Speaker 3: among SI D four p's endorsers is Submuduan, which some
- 12:03Speaker 3: Western intelligence services classify as a front for the PFLP,
- 12:09Speaker 3: the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, which is
- 12:12Speaker 3: designated as a foreign terrorist organization by the United States, Germany,
- 12:18Speaker 3: and Israel.
- 12:19Speaker 2: So the question that everyone I think that's listening right
- 12:22Speaker 2: now is asking is how is this then legal? And
- 12:25Speaker 2: if there's direct ties that are going back to terrorism,
- 12:28Speaker 2: how is again this legal? And if foreign finds are
- 12:32Speaker 2: coming in from our adversaries to pay and fund this
- 12:37Speaker 2: anarchists on collage campuses, how is that legal? Is there
- 12:41Speaker 2: anything that the government can do to say we're allow
- 12:44Speaker 2: this to happen and we're talking about the finances of.
- 12:47Speaker 3: This, well, look, there should be an enormous amount the
- 12:50Speaker 3: Department of Justice should be investigating this. The FBI should
- 12:53Speaker 3: be investigating this. We've got money coming from communist China
- 12:57Speaker 3: behind these protests, behind these anti American anti protests, We've
- 13:01Speaker 3: got money coming from organizations that have close ties to
- 13:04Speaker 3: designated terrorist organizations. And so whether it is Hamas and
- 13:08Speaker 3: Hesbela pushing this, whether it is affiliated allies of their
- 13:12Speaker 3: pushing this, whether it is a Ran pushing this, or
- 13:15Speaker 3: whether it is Communist China pushing this, the FBI ought
- 13:18Speaker 3: to be all over it. And I got to tell you, Ben,
- 13:20Speaker 3: my level of confidence that the FBI and the Department
- 13:23Speaker 3: of Justice is even looking at this is incredibly low, because, sadly,
- 13:28Speaker 3: this Biden Department of Justice is so politicized that they're
- 13:34Speaker 3: much more interested in tracking down some little old lady
- 13:38Speaker 3: on the National Mall on January sixth who was waving
- 13:41Speaker 3: an American flag and seeing God bless America and finding
- 13:44Speaker 3: every Facebook post she put twenty years ago than they
- 13:47Speaker 3: are actually interested in finding Communist China spending millions of
- 13:50Speaker 3: dollars trying to rip America apart.
- 13:53Speaker 2: And Senator look, education and quality education and going to
- 13:58Speaker 2: a prestigious school was something that you worked incredibly hard for.
- 14:04Speaker 2: But you now look at what's happened at our colleges,
- 14:09Speaker 2: and I'm talking about it our quote best colleges.
- 14:12Speaker 1: How much of.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Now what we're witnessing with them tolerating all of these
- 14:18Speaker 2: protests the way that they did in the presence is
- 14:20Speaker 2: because maybe they can't say no to the foreign cash
- 14:24Speaker 2: and the amount of foreign cash and therefore foreign influence
- 14:28Speaker 2: it's coming in from these same countries.
- 14:30Speaker 3: Look, the foreign cash is enormous problem. And let me
- 14:35Speaker 3: give you Let's look at the IVY League. So the
- 14:38Speaker 3: IVY League eight colleges have historically been among the very
- 14:41Speaker 3: best colleges in America. I want us to look at
- 14:45Speaker 3: the percentage of foreign students in the IVY League. So
- 14:48Speaker 3: Brown University, what percent of foreign students do you think
- 14:50Speaker 3: are at Brown?
- 14:51Speaker 1: It's got to be twenty percent plus. I would guess
- 14:54Speaker 1: nineteen percent.
- 14:55Speaker 3: You're off by point. Okay, how many students two thousand
- 14:59Speaker 3: and ninety eight Columbia University. What do you think the
- 15:01Speaker 3: percentage is at Columbia? Twenty five thirty thirty eight percent.
- 15:07Speaker 3: You want to know how many students that is? Fourteen
- 15:09Speaker 3: thousand and eighty eight, fourteen thousand foreign students Cornell University
- 15:14Speaker 3: twenty six percent, Dartmouth College seventeen percent, Harvard University twenty
- 15:19Speaker 3: two percent, Princeton University, Mi alma mater twenty three percent,
- 15:23Speaker 3: University of Pennsylvania twenty three percent, Yale University twenty four percent.
- 15:28Speaker 3: We are talking about thousands and thousands and tens of
- 15:31Speaker 3: thousands of foreign students. Now, part of the reason the
- 15:34Speaker 3: university's like this is because the foreign students all pay
- 15:38Speaker 3: full freight, so it's a great money making endeavor. But
- 15:40Speaker 3: why exactly are we educating people who among them and
- 15:44Speaker 3: not all of the foreign students are that case. Look,
- 15:48Speaker 3: my best friend in college who you know well, David
- 15:52Speaker 3: Panton was Jamaica. He was a foreign student. He came
- 15:54Speaker 3: from Jamaica. He arrived at Princeton at sixteen. He was
- 15:57Speaker 3: the best man at my wedding. He has been other
- 15:59Speaker 3: than high Dy, my best friend in life. He was
- 16:01Speaker 3: a Ford and student. That was great. That's very different
- 16:04Speaker 3: a Jamaican kid who's talented and wants to go go
- 16:08Speaker 3: get a good education, or for that matter, my dad
- 16:11Speaker 3: in nineteen fifty seven, coming as a student from Cuba
- 16:14Speaker 3: to the University of Texas, he came on a student visa.
- 16:17Speaker 3: He came fleeing oppression. He'd been in prison, he'd been tortured,
- 16:20Speaker 3: but he was coming seeking freedom. That is very different
- 16:23Speaker 3: from bringing in a bunch of radical anti America, anti
- 16:29Speaker 3: Israel radicals. Look, as far as I'm concerned, if you
- 16:35Speaker 3: have a student on a student visa who gets out
- 16:38Speaker 3: there and is burning an American flag and channing death
- 16:40Speaker 3: to America, you should deport him that day. We have
- 16:43Speaker 3: no obligation to allow people to come on student visas,
- 16:47Speaker 3: which is permissive. It is a choice. It is a
- 16:50Speaker 3: discretionary choice if they are going to tear down this country.
- 16:54Speaker 3: And part of the problem with the Ivy League schools
- 16:56Speaker 3: is when you're looking at anywhere from seventeen percent Dartmouth
- 17:00Speaker 3: College at the low point to thirty eight percent Columbia
- 17:04Speaker 3: University at the high point that are foreign students, you
- 17:07Speaker 3: have a bunch of students who are non Americans, and
- 17:10Speaker 3: far too many of them don't give a damn amount
- 17:12Speaker 3: American or trying to tear America down.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a great point.
- 17:16Speaker 2: I want to talk to you real quick about what's
- 17:17Speaker 2: happening with the economy, and when it comes to inflation.
- 17:21Speaker 2: It's having a huge impact on your buying power. The
- 17:24Speaker 2: reality is it costs a lot more to live today
- 17:27Speaker 2: than it did last year, or the year before or
- 17:29Speaker 2: the year before that. And if you are getting close
- 17:32Speaker 2: to retirement or at retirement, you're just trying to preserve
- 17:35Speaker 2: the wealth because you know now it costs more to
- 17:38Speaker 2: live and that's where gold and silver can come in
- 17:41Speaker 2: and help you big time. Gold and silver have been historically,
- 17:45Speaker 2: they've been amazing hedges against inflation and a great way
- 17:49Speaker 2: to protect your hard earned retirement funds. Now, there are
- 17:52Speaker 2: a lot of gold and silver companies out there, but
- 17:54Speaker 2: the one I want you to remember is Freedom Gold USA.
- 17:59Speaker 2: You want to know why because on average they charge
- 18:02Speaker 2: twenty five to thirty percent less than most major gold
- 18:07Speaker 2: and silver firms that you've heard of. Yeah, they preach protection,
- 18:11Speaker 2: but they'll never take to put all your money in
- 18:13Speaker 2: gold and silver. They want you to have a diversified portfolio.
- 18:18Speaker 2: And again, you can have twenty five to thirty percent
- 18:21Speaker 2: more gold or silver in your account by working with
- 18:24Speaker 2: them than many other companies out there with the same
- 18:26Speaker 2: amount of dollars. So take control of your financial future
- 18:30Speaker 2: now and visit Freedom goold usa dot com slash verdict.
- 18:36Speaker 2: That's freedom goold Usa dot com slash verdict. You can
- 18:41Speaker 2: also call them one a hundred sixty five five eight

- 18:48Speaker 2: eight four three or online it freedom goold Usa dot
- 18:51Speaker 2: com slash verdict Centater. We've talked a lot about China
- 18:55Speaker 2: in this report, but there's also another warning that has
- 18:59Speaker 2: come out. And this time and you just mentioned it,
- 19:02Speaker 2: your dad fled from Cuba. There was a Wall Street
- 19:05Speaker 2: Journal report that has come out about how Cuba is
- 19:08Speaker 2: also fueling the campus protests. They're getting in on this,
- 19:12Speaker 2: and look, let's be honest, they don't have as much
- 19:14Speaker 2: money to spend is China, and yet they see this
- 19:18Speaker 2: as that valuable for disruption in America.
- 19:22Speaker 3: Well, that's exactly right. So just a couple of days ago,
- 19:24Speaker 3: there was an op ed in the Wall Street Journal.
- 19:26Speaker 3: It was entitled how Cuba fuels the campus protests. Some
- 19:29Speaker 3: of the outside agitators against Israel are Havana's fellow travelers.
- 19:34Speaker 3: And I want to again focus on this because again
- 19:36Speaker 3: this has gotten very little attention other than this journal article,
- 19:39Speaker 3: very few other media outlets it picked it up but
- 19:42Speaker 3: here's how it starts. There's a dog bites man quality
- 19:45Speaker 3: to the news reports that recent campus chaos and support
- 19:48Speaker 3: of Hamas is the work of well funded revolutionary groups
- 19:51Speaker 3: out to destabilize the US. Even less surprising is the
- 19:55Speaker 3: charge that quote outside agitators is New York Mayor Eric
- 19:59Speaker 3: Adams's term. The groups share an ideology with the Cuban
- 20:02Speaker 3: military dictatorship and in some cases have attained practical support
- 20:07Speaker 3: from Havana. And it continues. For decades, Cuba has spent
- 20:13Speaker 3: enormous resources burrowing into America's educational, diplomatic, and political circles
- 20:18Speaker 3: in an effort to topple our democratic republic. This truth
- 20:22Speaker 3: was obscured during the Obama administration when Ben Rhodes, struggling
- 20:26Speaker 3: creative writer turned national security guru, shaped US policy to
- 20:30Speaker 3: profess that Cuba is no longer a threat. Who can
- 20:34Speaker 3: forget the photograph iconic for the American left of Raoul
- 20:37Speaker 3: Castro raising the arm of a limp wristed President Obama
- 20:41Speaker 3: in twenty sixteen. The article continues to describe a vocal
- 20:47Speaker 3: advocate of the recent Haydiens in New York is Manolo
- 20:52Speaker 3: Delos Santos. The New York Post describes the thirty five
- 20:56Speaker 3: year old as quote the leader and de facto mouthpiece
- 20:59Speaker 3: for the Peace People's Forum. Remember we talked about the
- 21:01Speaker 3: People's Forum a minute ago. That China's helping fund as
- 21:03Speaker 3: well a radical anti Israel group that encouraged the takeover
- 21:07Speaker 3: of Hamilton Hall at Columbia University. Born in the Dominican Republic,
- 21:11Speaker 3: mister Della Santos moved to the US at five, but
- 21:13Speaker 3: seems to have spent time in Cuba beginning in two
- 21:15Speaker 3: thousand and six. In May of twenty twenty three, mister
- 21:19Speaker 3: Della Santos tweeted a photo of himself with Cuban dictator
- 21:22Speaker 3: Miguel Diaz Canal on the island. He wrote that he
- 21:25Speaker 3: was quote leaving Cube after ten days learning with its
- 21:29Speaker 3: people and with mister Diaz Canal.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Quote.
- 21:31Speaker 3: Young people in the US have great tasks ahead of them,
- 21:34Speaker 3: he explained. In September twenty twenty three, mister Della Santos
- 21:38Speaker 3: was photographed with the Cuban dictator in New York during
- 21:41Speaker 3: the week of the UN General Assembly meeting. Quote welcome,
- 21:45Speaker 3: dear comrade, mister Delos Santos tweeted, So this guy's a communist.
- 21:50Speaker 3: And here's what the Wall Street Journal continues to say.
- 21:53Speaker 3: It isn't clear if mister Della Santos was on the
- 21:55Speaker 3: Columbia campus, but hours before Prohamas activist took over Hamilton Hall,
- 22:01Speaker 3: he gave a rousing speech to a volunteer meeting at
- 22:04Speaker 3: the People's Forum offices in Manhattan, where he quote urged
- 22:09Speaker 3: the group to quote give Joe Biden a hot summer
- 22:12Speaker 3: and quote make it untenable for the politics as usual
- 22:15Speaker 3: to take place in this country. On May seventh, mister
- 22:18Speaker 3: Della Santos was detained by the New York Police Department
- 22:22Speaker 3: for his role in a traffic blocking march. It was
- 22:25Speaker 3: in his first brush.
- 22:26Speaker 1: With the law.
- 22:26Speaker 3: The Post is reported that he was also arrested by
- 22:28Speaker 3: the NYPD on January twenty seventh, during a day of
- 22:31Speaker 3: Prohamas activism, and the journal concludes with the following. In
- 22:37Speaker 3: a twenty fourteen unclassified report Cuban intelligence targeting of Academia,
- 22:44Speaker 3: the FBI said that schools, colleges, universities, and research institutes
- 22:50Speaker 3: are a quote fertile environment for foreign intelligence quote. The
- 22:57Speaker 3: Cuban intelligence services are known own to actively target the
- 23:02Speaker 3: US academic world for the purposes of recruiting agents in
- 23:06Speaker 3: order to both obtain useful information and conduct influence activities. Well,
- 23:12Speaker 3: you know what, We're seeing those influence activities every day
- 23:17Speaker 3: on campuses across the country.
- 23:19Speaker 2: So is there anything that Congress can do? I mean,
- 23:23Speaker 2: you're hearing this, everyone's hearing this. Now you mentioned it earlier.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Can you ask the FBI director? Can you call on
- 23:31Speaker 2: them to take action here and to look into this?
- 23:35Speaker 2: Or is this just a Hey, they're on our side
- 23:38Speaker 2: as the Democratic Party, the socialists and the Marxist and
- 23:42Speaker 2: the communists within the Democratic Party, we don't care because
- 23:45Speaker 2: we want their influence and we want their money.
- 23:48Speaker 3: So yes, I've called on the Biden administration to do this.
- 23:51Speaker 3: I've called on the IRS. I've called on the FBI
- 23:54Speaker 3: many many of these organizations that are pushing these protests
- 23:58Speaker 3: or five to one C three's, which is supposed to
- 24:00Speaker 3: be tax examp. They're supposed to be not engaging in
- 24:02Speaker 3: political activity. So I've called on the IRS to investigate
- 24:05Speaker 3: that already. Look, in a sane world, the FBI would
- 24:09Speaker 3: be examining this closely. We watched during the Trump presidency
- 24:13Speaker 3: the whole Russia RUSSA Russia nonsense, which was totally made up.
- 24:16Speaker 3: It was based on Hillary Clinton campaign OPO research, but
- 24:21Speaker 3: it became the obsession number one of the deep state
- 24:25Speaker 3: and number two now of the Biden administration. And yet
- 24:28Speaker 3: I have no indication that the Department of Justice is
- 24:32Speaker 3: doing anything to examine this. I have no indication that
- 24:35Speaker 3: the FBI, and by the way, the FBI are to
- 24:37Speaker 3: announce they are investigating this. If they were doing it,
- 24:40Speaker 3: they shouldn't keep it a secret. They should make absolutely
- 24:43Speaker 3: clear that what is happening on these campuses is deeply
- 24:46Speaker 3: concerning and they're going to get to the bottom of
- 24:48Speaker 3: who's funding it. But they're not doing that, and I
- 24:51Speaker 3: don't believe they will because many of the funders, in
- 24:55Speaker 3: addition to being the Chinese communists and the Cuban communists,
- 24:58Speaker 3: many of the funders are also the top for the
- 25:00Speaker 3: Democrat Party. And this Department of Justice operates as an
- 25:05Speaker 3: adjunct to the White House. It is a Democrat enforcement bureau,
- 25:09Speaker 3: which means I don't think they're going to go after
- 25:11Speaker 3: the top funders of the Democrat Party because you know
- 25:13Speaker 3: what their objective is to re elect Joe Biden and
- 25:17Speaker 3: so stopping foreign communist governments from fomenting dissent, protecting Jewish
- 25:22Speaker 3: students on campus, preventing our universities from being ripped apart,
- 25:26Speaker 3: preventing airports from being shut down, preventing freeways from being
- 25:31Speaker 3: shut down. Remember, these are the same people who during
- 25:33Speaker 3: the quote Summer of Love, the deep state didn't want
- 25:36Speaker 3: to do anything, and so I don't believe the Biden
- 25:39Speaker 3: administration is going to do a damn thing.
- 25:42Speaker 2: You mentioned something that we talked about. It jogging my
- 25:45Speaker 2: memory from maybe in two or three episodes ago where
- 25:48Speaker 2: we were talking about it was very clear that the
- 25:50Speaker 2: same people in this country that are funding Joe Biden's
- 25:55Speaker 2: reelect for president are the exact same people that are
- 25:58Speaker 2: funding the camp rioters. And so you combine that right
- 26:04Speaker 2: with now the foreign money. This is a hell of
- 26:07Speaker 2: a lot of influence center over the United States of
- 26:10Speaker 2: America and young people, and it's is it being orchestrated
- 26:14Speaker 2: by the foreigners or is this being orchestrated by the
- 26:17Speaker 2: Biden administration?
- 26:18Speaker 3: In essence, yes, Look, understand, this is not organic, This
- 26:23Speaker 3: is not occurring spontaneously. This is highly organized. There's a
- 26:27Speaker 3: reason why all of these activists have the same damn
- 26:30Speaker 3: tints because the groups that are pushing this sent out
- 26:34Speaker 3: links to the same Amazon link to buy the tents.
- 26:37Speaker 3: And they are being funded. They're being funded number one
- 26:40Speaker 3: by radical left is, they're being funded by anarchists. They're
- 26:43Speaker 3: being funded by communists. And I don't use communists as
- 26:46Speaker 3: a pejorative, as just an insult. I mean people who
- 26:49Speaker 3: embrace communism. And as we're laying out here, it's not
- 26:54Speaker 3: just American communists, of which there are sadly far too many.
- 26:57Speaker 3: It is Chinese communists, the Chinese Communist Party, it is
- 27:00Speaker 3: Cuban communists, and they see this as a vulnerability in America,
- 27:06Speaker 3: a way to tear us apart. Look you look at
- 27:10Speaker 3: a place we were talking about elite institutions. You look
- 27:12Speaker 3: at a place like Duke University, Ben How the hell
- 27:16Speaker 3: is Jerry Seinfeld now too controversial of a speaker for
- 27:21Speaker 3: campus leftists. We saw a Duke's commencement, oh about fifty
- 27:26Speaker 3: anti Semitic leftist storm out. And by the way, Seinfeld
- 27:31Speaker 3: was not giving a speech about Israel. He was not
- 27:32Speaker 3: talking he happens to support Israel. They simply said, damn it,
- 27:36Speaker 3: I will not listen to a Jew. I am such
- 27:39Speaker 3: a bigot. If you invited Jew to speak to me,
- 27:42Speaker 3: I will walk out ostentatiously. You look at the recent
- 27:45Speaker 3: graduation at Columbia where you had these nitwits walking up
- 27:48Speaker 3: and ripping their diploma in half, and I mean they
- 27:52Speaker 3: are angry. They are bigoted on the left. Being a
- 27:56Speaker 3: bigot Hating Jews is accepted on the left. Now that
- 28:00Speaker 3: is an acceptable bigotry.
- 28:02Speaker 1: And I don't understand why these universities.
- 28:04Speaker 2: And maybe it's just because I'm old school and I
- 28:07Speaker 2: think you would agree with me if if back when
- 28:10Speaker 2: I was in school, if you ripped up your diploma
- 28:13Speaker 2: when you were walking across the stage, they probably would
- 28:16Speaker 2: have just taken away from me and said you didn't graduate.
- 28:20Speaker 3: Yeah, so it's an interesting question. Consequences is what I'm saying. Probably,
- 28:25Speaker 3: I will say, I'm not sure you could do that.
- 28:28Speaker 3: You might actually have a breach of contract claim if
- 28:30Speaker 3: you have actually paid your tuition and pastor your classes.
- 28:33Speaker 3: I'm not sure they could revoke your diploma at that point,
- 28:36Speaker 3: but you know what they could certainly print on your transcript.
- 28:42Speaker 3: Ben Ferguson is embarrassed to have graduated from ole Miss
- 28:45Speaker 3: and tore up his diploma. You should know that if
- 28:47Speaker 3: you're thinking of hiring it.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean and the and yet all these universities
- 28:52Speaker 2: seem to know it's going to happen.
- 28:54Speaker 3: And his tennis serve as like a little girl. Would
- 28:58Speaker 3: that be bad if thee that I transculd.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Sue them for that that, I would sue them for
- 29:03Speaker 2: the other part. I don't know about care, but I'd
- 29:04Speaker 2: sue them for that because I make that is a
- 29:06Speaker 2: lie and I'm gonna get paid.
- 29:08Speaker 3: It's actually not accurate, Ben, because a little girl could
- 29:10Speaker 3: serve and get it in.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Listen to you. Listen to you all right next time.
- 29:15Speaker 1: The sad thing is I'm gonna come back with a reporter.
- 29:18Speaker 1: You're on verdict.
- 29:19Speaker 3: The sad thing is I have such empty boasts because
- 29:22Speaker 3: you you so utterly destroyed me in tennis. It's not
- 29:25Speaker 3: even close, but I'm talking smack and on this it
- 29:29Speaker 3: is empty. I will readily admit. But if you do this,
- 29:33Speaker 3: but you know what I can. I can take you
- 29:35Speaker 3: at hoops. That's true. No, No, you've got game, I
- 29:39Speaker 3: said the first time we played oops. I was like,
- 29:40Speaker 3: all right, he's got some GAMEZ is like, does he
- 29:42Speaker 3: really have game?
- 29:43Speaker 2: And I was like, for people that are listening. Diaz
- 29:45Speaker 2: is our producer that does the show. And so Diaz like,
- 29:48Speaker 2: does he can he actually shoot? And I'm like, he
- 29:50Speaker 2: actually can? He was like really, I was a kiss.
- 29:52Speaker 2: He actually scores like a lot.
- 29:54Speaker 3: Now I will say, look, you've got size. You can
- 29:57Speaker 3: post up on me one on one if you actually
- 30:00Speaker 3: he turned around and put your ass towards the basket
- 30:02Speaker 3: and backed up on me. I'm not sure I could
- 30:04Speaker 3: push you out because you're a big guy.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:07Speaker 2: No, In fact, we might need to make that happen.
- 30:09Speaker 2: I don't know if I want to do it like now,
- 30:10Speaker 2: because you do. I do end up breaking bones when
- 30:13Speaker 2: I play, so you know I might. I might to
- 30:16Speaker 2: be clear, to be clear who's bones it was mine?
- 30:20Speaker 1: Mine broke.
- 30:21Speaker 3: I just have to clarify that.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Yeah, it took me out of tennis for the longest
- 30:25Speaker 2: of my whole life.
- 30:26Speaker 1: I finally got to.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Play today because of this this stupid pinky that swells
- 30:31Speaker 2: it is like the size of a baseball. Right now,
- 30:32Speaker 2: I'm thinking workers comp here. At some point that'll be
- 30:36Speaker 2: my lawsuit. But the final question for you on on
- 30:40Speaker 2: what we just exposed, what is it that people need
- 30:44Speaker 2: to do with this information, and it is this just
- 30:47Speaker 2: more of a Hey, if you've got a kid or
- 30:51Speaker 2: a grandkid that is looking at where they're going to
- 30:53Speaker 2: be going to college is part of this, pay attention
- 30:56Speaker 2: to what they're doing to your kid's mind. And don't
- 30:59Speaker 2: just assume that because your kid gets into quote a
- 31:01Speaker 2: prestigious university, that's.
- 31:02Speaker 1: The right decision to send them there.
- 31:05Speaker 3: Look, that's a hard choice. And I will say parents,
- 31:08Speaker 3: particularly parents with high school and college aged kids, it's
- 31:12Speaker 3: a really hard choice. My view has long been that
- 31:16Speaker 3: a kid should go to the best school they can
- 31:18Speaker 3: get into. And it does open doors, it opens career doors,
- 31:21Speaker 3: it's beneficial. I will say, the more radicalized these places get,
- 31:26Speaker 3: the less convinced I am. That make sense. I will
- 31:29Speaker 3: say I saw an article recently talking about how many
- 31:32Speaker 3: top high school graduates are now looking at schools in
- 31:36Speaker 3: the South by the way. You know, it's easy, and
- 31:40Speaker 3: we talked about this in a prior podcast. You know,
- 31:43Speaker 3: it's easy to say, oh, all colleges are just crazy
- 31:46Speaker 3: and this is just a problem across the country. No,
- 31:49Speaker 3: that's not true. This is a problem in Blue states.
- 31:52Speaker 3: This is a problem at Columbia, at NYU, at Yale,
- 31:56Speaker 3: at Harvard. This is a problem at Princeton. This is
- 31:59Speaker 3: a problem at UCLA, This is a problem at UC Berkeley.
- 32:01Speaker 3: This is a problem at usc This is the problem
- 32:03Speaker 3: at the University of Washington. This is a problem in
- 32:06Speaker 3: blue states. Why is it a problem in blue states?
- 32:08Speaker 3: Because you have Democrats who will not stand up against it,
- 32:10Speaker 3: who will not protect you ash students, who will not
- 32:12Speaker 3: oppose anti Semitism, who will not lock up protesters, who
- 32:15Speaker 3: will not stop pro Hamas protesters, who will not stop
- 32:19Speaker 3: threats of violence. These are the same people that were
- 32:21Speaker 3: utterly powerless in the so called Summer of Love and
- 32:24Speaker 3: let anarchists take over portions of major cities in America.
- 32:27Speaker 3: These are the same people who allowed Black Lives Matter
- 32:30Speaker 3: and ANTIFA protesters to fire bomb police cars, to loot stores,
- 32:34Speaker 3: to commit crimes. We're not seeing this in red states. Look,
- 32:40Speaker 3: you and I both live in Texas. At UT there
- 32:42Speaker 3: were protests. You know what they did. They sent in
- 32:44Speaker 3: the police and if you committed threats of violence, you
- 32:47Speaker 3: got arrested, and miraculously you didn't have the garbage you
- 32:51Speaker 3: had at these other schools. Look at places, whether University
- 32:54Speaker 3: of North Carolina or other southern schools, they don't have
- 32:57Speaker 3: the problems Florida. Look Florida and Texas. Listen, you and
- 33:01Speaker 3: I both have a lot of very close Jewish friends.
- 33:04Speaker 3: They're not living in fear in Texas. They're not living
- 33:07Speaker 3: in fear in in in Florida. But you know what,
- 33:09Speaker 3: they are living in fear in New York and New
- 33:11Speaker 3: Jersey and Connecticut, in California. And ideology has consequences. If
- 33:17Speaker 3: you have leftists who embrace cultural Marxism, who believe Jews
- 33:21Speaker 3: are oppressors, you know what, they're not going to oppress
- 33:24Speaker 3: Jewish students. And that is that is sadly where today's
- 33:30Speaker 3: radicalized Democrat party is.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Yeah, it is.
- 33:32Speaker 2: And it's going to be interesting to see how much now,
- 33:35Speaker 2: especially with a lot of people that graduated from universities.
- 33:39Speaker 2: You're Alma Monder and others at Columbia taking us in
- 33:42Speaker 2: said I'm not giving you any more money. We've seen
- 33:44Speaker 2: Robert Kraft and others say we're not sending any more
- 33:46Speaker 2: cash to you in many of these Ivy League universities.
- 33:50Speaker 2: And so will that force them to take even more
- 33:53Speaker 2: of this foreign money and the foreign influence that comes
- 33:56Speaker 2: with it. That that may be one of the shocking
- 33:59Speaker 2: parts of this entire conversation that we're having right now.
- 34:03Speaker 3: I think that's right. I think there are a lot
- 34:05Speaker 3: of lums, alums who are deeply concerned about where the
- 34:08Speaker 3: institution they went to school are I think there are
- 34:10Speaker 3: a lot of parents that are deeply worried about do
- 34:13Speaker 3: they keep sending their students to these schools. I think
- 34:16Speaker 3: there are already lawsuits and then there's going to be
- 34:17Speaker 3: a lot more lawsuits about breach of contract. You pay
- 34:20Speaker 3: a school a half million dollars and they shut down,
- 34:23Speaker 3: They don't teach in person, they send people at home,
- 34:25Speaker 3: they cancel your commencement. They say, oh, we're not actually
- 34:27Speaker 3: going to do what you paid us to do, which
- 34:29Speaker 3: is teach your kids. And by the way, we're not
- 34:31Speaker 3: going to protect your students. If your student happens to
- 34:33Speaker 3: wear a yamica, you know what, they need to be
- 34:35Speaker 3: prepared to be screamed at, cursed at, and be physically
- 34:37Speaker 3: threatened with violence. That is a a violation of federal
- 34:41Speaker 3: civil rights law. And by the way, where is the
- 34:44Speaker 3: Biden administration? Why are they not enforcing federal civil rights law?
- 34:48Speaker 1: Look?
- 34:49Speaker 3: I looked at Dwight D. Eisenhower Republican president who when
- 34:52Speaker 3: you had a bunch of Democrat bigots, and I'll point
- 34:54Speaker 3: out it was Democrat bigots in the fifties and sixties
- 34:57Speaker 3: too who were refusing to allow schools to be in
- 35:00Speaker 3: and they were persecuting African American students. And these Democrat
- 35:03Speaker 3: bigot politicians, we're doing that and Dwight the Eisenhower sent
- 35:07Speaker 3: in the National Guard. What has Joe Biden done Absolutely
- 35:11Speaker 3: nothing because his sympathies, he wants the votes of the
- 35:17Speaker 3: anti Semis who are protesting. And you know, his administration
- 35:22Speaker 3: also seems to have a zero concern about the Chinese
- 35:25Speaker 3: communist money and the Cuban communist money and supporters behind this.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll keep exposing it and make sure all of
- 35:31Speaker 2: you that are listening share it.
- 35:33Speaker 1: This podcast is easy to share.
- 35:35Speaker 2: You hit that little forward button and put it up
- 35:36Speaker 2: on social media if you're on x or Instagram or
- 35:39Speaker 2: Twitter or parlor Getter, wherever you are, make sure you
- 35:43Speaker 2: share it so other people hear what the media is
- 35:45Speaker 2: refusing to cover.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Right now, don't forget.
- 35:47Speaker 2: We did this show Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and a week
- 35:49Speaker 2: in review on Saturdays and on those in between days.
- 35:53Speaker 2: You can also grab my podcast I'll keep you up
- 35:55Speaker 2: to date on what's happening in the political world, the
- 35:58Speaker 2: Ben Ferguson podcasts on the in Between Days and The Center.
- 36:01Speaker 2: I will see you back here on Friday morning.
