- 0:01Speaker 1: This should have been done a long time ago by Biden,
- 0:04Speaker 1: but Biden was an incompetent president.
- 0:05Speaker 2: He couldn't do anything it. He didn't know where where
- 0:08Speaker 2: it was going. He had no clue.
- 0:09Speaker 1: And we've had numerous successful evenings and days in that area.
- 0:13Speaker 2: The hoodies are absolutely on the run.
- 0:16Speaker 1: The worst of them has been killed.
- 0:18Speaker 3: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
- 0:22Speaker 4: Good Wednesday morning. Ben Ferguson with it. It's nice to
- 0:24Speaker 4: have you on the forty seven Morning Update. And here
- 0:26Speaker 4: are the three big stories that you need to know about.
- 0:29Speaker 4: First up, the President signing an executive order to secure
- 0:33Speaker 4: America's elections, meaning that your vote might actually count more
- 0:37Speaker 4: than ever before. Also, the Trump administration is cutting off
- 0:41Speaker 4: federal funding to Plan Parenthood. Between twenty nineteen and twenty
- 0:45Speaker 4: twenty one, Planned Parenthood performed one point one one million
- 0:49Speaker 4: abortions and much of it was subsidized with your tax dollars.
- 0:53Speaker 4: Have the breakdown of that story in just a moment.
- 0:55Speaker 4: And finally, the Department of Homeland Security Secretary Christy no
- 1:00Speaker 4: coming out saying we are preparing to eliminate FEMA. Could
- 1:04Speaker 4: it be because of all the waste, fraud and abuse.
- 1:07Speaker 4: It's the forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Story number one.
- 1:11Speaker 4: Donald Trump making liberal heads explode. Why because he said
- 1:17Speaker 4: enough is enough with election fraud. The President signing an
- 1:20Speaker 4: executive order to secure our elections. This is the President
- 1:25Speaker 4: at the White House, in his own words on the
- 1:27Speaker 4: executive order.
- 1:28Speaker 5: Lastly, sir, we have an executive order for your attention
- 1:31Speaker 5: on the very important subject of election integrity. We believe
- 1:35Speaker 5: that this executive order is the farthest reaching executive action
- 1:39Speaker 5: taken in the history of the Republic to secure our elections.
- 1:43Speaker 5: Among numerous other aspects of this executive order, this is
- 1:48Speaker 5: going to cut down on illegal immigrants on the voter rolls,
- 1:52Speaker 5: ensure that the Department of Homeland Security and the data
- 1:55Speaker 5: that they have available is being fully weaponized to ensure
- 1:58Speaker 5: that illegal immigrants aren't voting. This will include a citizenship
- 2:01Speaker 5: question on the federal voting form for the first time.
- 2:04Speaker 5: This executive order instructs the EAC to cut federal funding
- 2:09Speaker 5: to states that don't take reasonable steps to secure their election.
- 2:13Speaker 5: This calls on the Department of Justice to vigorously prosecute
- 2:16Speaker 5: election crimes, particularly in states that we don't believe are
- 2:19Speaker 5: in compliance with federal law around election integrity. I could
- 2:24Speaker 5: go on and on for a while, sir, But compliance
- 2:27Speaker 5: with National Election Day rules, cracking down and investigating and
- 2:31Speaker 5: prosecuting foreign interference in our elections, Revoking President Biden's Executive
- 2:36Speaker 5: Order fourteen one point nine, which essentially weaponized government to
- 2:41Speaker 5: corrupt and pollute our election process. There's a lot in here,
- 2:44Speaker 5: but we believe that these are very important steps that
- 2:47Speaker 5: we need to be taking as an administration in your
- 2:50Speaker 5: direction to ensure that our elections are as secure as
- 2:52Speaker 5: they possibly can be.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Election fraud. You've heard the term will end it. Hopefully
- 2:59Speaker 2: this will go a long way toward ending it. There
- 3:01Speaker 2: are other steps that we will be taking as at
- 3:04Speaker 2: in the coming weeks, and we think we'll be able
- 3:07Speaker 2: to end up getting fair elections. Perhaps some people think
- 3:11Speaker 2: I shouldn't be complaining because we won in a landslide,
- 3:14Speaker 2: but we're going to straighten out our election. This country
- 3:18Speaker 2: is so sick because of the election, the fake elections,
- 3:21Speaker 2: and the band election, and we're going to straighten it
- 3:22Speaker 2: out one way or the other. And it's an honor
- 3:24Speaker 2: to sign this one, to sign all of them.
- 3:26Speaker 1: But to sign this one is a great honor.
- 3:28Speaker 4: So let's go through the list of things that are
- 3:30Speaker 4: going to drive the left and say, you actually have
- 3:32Speaker 4: to show proof of citizenship for voting. What a novel idea.
- 3:37Speaker 4: You can't get into virtually any other government program without
- 3:39Speaker 4: showing proof of citizenship, But when you show up to
- 3:42Speaker 4: vote in many liberal areas of the country like now,
- 3:44Speaker 4: we'll just trust your word. Also, funds tied to integrity
- 3:48Speaker 4: compliance are involved in the executive order and paper ballots.
- 3:53Speaker 4: There's something else called checks and balances, as many do
- 3:56Speaker 4: not trust the electronic machines. Also, the Attorney General is
- 4:00Speaker 4: going to track election fraud, making it a much bigger
- 4:04Speaker 4: issue so that when those who cheat are caught, there
- 4:07Speaker 4: will be hell to pay. Also, a crackdown on late ballots.
- 4:12Speaker 4: This is so important for election integrity because after someone
- 4:16Speaker 4: sees the results, allowing in late ballots can also be
- 4:20Speaker 4: abused in a major way to alter or change the
- 4:23Speaker 4: outcome of an election. And finally, the President United States
- 4:26Speaker 4: of America, in this executive action axes Biden's voter turnout
- 4:32Speaker 4: executive Order that was meant to allow for more waste,
- 4:35Speaker 4: fraud and abuse of our election day system. So to
- 4:39Speaker 4: President Donald Trump, I got to say congratulations and job
- 4:43Speaker 4: well done. He also teas we're going to be doing
- 4:45Speaker 4: more and we're expecting to hear more about that from
- 4:48Speaker 4: the White House in the coming days.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Next story number two.
- 4:52Speaker 4: In a move that may become one of the most
- 4:54Speaker 4: important moves from Donald Trump's entire time as being president
- 4:58Speaker 4: United States of America, he may good on a promise
- 5:01Speaker 4: to protect unborn children in this country. The Trump administration
- 5:06Speaker 4: is about to cut off federal funding to Plan Parenthood.
- 5:10Speaker 4: Just how bad is it. Between twenty nineteen and twenty
- 5:14Speaker 4: twenty one, Planned Parenthood performed one point one one million
- 5:20Speaker 4: abortions while receiving approximately one point seven eight billion in
- 5:26Speaker 4: your tax dollars federal funding. Now, this is an average
- 5:30Speaker 4: of five hundred and ninety two million dollars every year.
- 5:34Speaker 4: If you look at their total budget, your tax dollurs
- 5:37Speaker 4: are covering over forty percent of their quote revenue. It
- 5:41Speaker 4: Planned Parenthood. Now, they want you to believe that the
- 5:44Speaker 4: money we send from the federal government does not go
- 5:47Speaker 4: to abortions. It's very clear it subsidizes those one point
- 5:51Speaker 4: one to one million abortions. Over the last two years
- 5:54Speaker 4: that we have data on because we're giving them so
- 5:57Speaker 4: much funding. Overall, NOD is being fooled Planned Parenthood. The
- 6:02Speaker 4: money is used for these abortion factories, and that is
- 6:06Speaker 4: exactly why the President United States of America is standing
- 6:09Speaker 4: up for American taxpayer dollars, saying they must not be
- 6:13Speaker 4: used to kill innocent unborn babies. Now, as of March
- 6:16Speaker 4: to twenty fifth, the Trump administration is planning to freeze
- 6:20Speaker 4: approximately twenty seven point five million in federal family Planning
- 6:25Speaker 4: grants to certain organizations, including Planned Parenthood affiliates. This action
- 6:30Speaker 4: aims to investigate whether these funds were used for diversity efforts,
- 6:35Speaker 4: ensuring compliance with President Trump's executive order and federal law.
- 6:40Speaker 4: The potential suspension will impact services, no doubt at Planned Parenthood.
- 6:45Speaker 4: We know that Planned Parenthood has four thousand clinics and
- 6:49Speaker 4: Planned Parenthood is well the number one abortion provider in
- 6:53Speaker 4: America and actually in the world. Vice President Jedi Vance
- 6:58Speaker 4: has previously indicated that a future Trump administration would seek
- 7:02Speaker 4: to defund Planned Parenthood, stating at the time, quote our
- 7:05Speaker 4: view is we don't think that taxpayers should fund late
- 7:09Speaker 4: term abortions. In January of this year, President Trump signed
- 7:13Speaker 4: executive Order fourteen one eighty two titled Enforcing the High Amendment,
- 7:18Speaker 4: which prohibits the use of federal taxpayer dollars for elective abortions.
- 7:23Speaker 4: This order revoked prior related orders and directed agencies to
- 7:27Speaker 4: implement the policy. There was also another very important question
- 7:32Speaker 4: that was asked of Donald Trump. It was during a
- 7:35Speaker 4: press conference where it came out that the funding was
- 7:38Speaker 4: going to stop to Plan Parenthood, and there was another
- 7:40Speaker 4: question asked by a reporter specifically about Planned Parenthood selling
- 7:45Speaker 4: aborted baby body parts. Here's the question that the President
- 7:50Speaker 4: wanted to answer.
- 7:51Speaker 6: If Planned Parenthood is defunded, would you look into the
- 7:56Speaker 6: harvesting of baby organs that they've done throughout the years
- 8:01Speaker 6: and maybe go up to some criminal prosecution on that.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Well, I think you're talking about a subject that is
- 8:07Speaker 1: a heated subject, and we'll look into it. We'll look
- 8:10Speaker 1: into everything. But that's certainly a subject that's been debated
- 8:14Speaker 1: for a long time and we will.
- 8:16Speaker 6: Look into it.
- 8:16Speaker 4: Yeah, it's very obvious the President of United States of
- 8:19Speaker 4: America is not going to just stop with the funding,
- 8:22Speaker 4: as he put it, we will look into it.
- 8:24Speaker 3: And finally, story number three, we.
- 8:26Speaker 4: All know that a core mission of the Trump administration
- 8:29Speaker 4: is to truly get rid of waste, fraud and abuse.
- 8:31Speaker 4: But just how bad is that fraud and abuse, especially
- 8:35Speaker 4: when it comes to agencies like FEMA. Well, apparently it
- 8:38Speaker 4: may be so bad now that the Department of Homland
- 8:41Speaker 4: Security Secretary Christy no under Donald Trump is saying, quote,
- 8:45Speaker 4: we are preparing to eliminate FEMA altogether. We also know
- 8:49Speaker 4: that FEMA has picked winners and losers, helping some Americans
- 8:53Speaker 4: when they need the emergency help and well forgetting others
- 8:56Speaker 4: depending on where you live in the country with a
- 8:59Speaker 4: homeancecar party. Secretary Christin nom has told the Trump administration
- 9:03Speaker 4: that preparations are underway quote unquote to eliminate the Federal
- 9:07Speaker 4: Emergency Management Agency. It was a quick comment, by the way,
- 9:11Speaker 4: on Monday, with no related lead in that, according to
- 9:14Speaker 4: The Hill that got this scoop. President Donald Trump responded
- 9:18Speaker 4: with quote that's great, great job, in what seemed to
- 9:22Speaker 4: be a reaction to her preceding comments on border security. Now,
- 9:26Speaker 4: Trump said previously that he does not have a favorable
- 9:29Speaker 4: view of FEMA and has considered its elimination. Sener. Peter Welch,
- 9:34Speaker 4: a Democrat from Vermont, posted on x his response to
- 9:38Speaker 4: Gnoam's statement on eliminating FEMA by saying this, Vermont has
- 9:42Speaker 4: been hit hard by flooding the last two years, and
- 9:45Speaker 4: I'm the first person to say that we need to
- 9:47Speaker 4: make improvements to FEMA, But eliminating it altogether would make
- 9:51Speaker 4: disasters more deadly and destructive and make it much harder
- 9:54Speaker 4: for communities to recover. Trump, by the way, signed an
- 9:57Speaker 4: executive order last week sitting the stage for a the
- 10:00Speaker 4: major overhaul of federal disaster relief programs. And let's be clear,
- 10:05Speaker 4: the President is not trying to eliminate disaster relief help
- 10:09Speaker 4: from the federal government. He is, however, clearly trying to
- 10:11Speaker 4: get rid of some of the waste and abuse of
- 10:14Speaker 4: programs under FEMA's directive. It read, in part, this executive
- 10:19Speaker 4: order delivers on President Trump's commitment to shift power from
- 10:22Speaker 4: Washington to the American people. The order laid the foundation
- 10:27Speaker 4: for quote greater state and local control of emergencies and funding.
- 10:33Speaker 4: The order enables states and local governments to better understand,
- 10:38Speaker 4: plan for, and address the needs of their citizens by
- 10:41Speaker 4: reducing the complexity of federal preparedness and response policies. In
- 10:47Speaker 4: other words, Donald Trump is saying states know what they
- 10:50Speaker 4: need and local communities know what they need in a
- 10:52Speaker 4: disaster more than bureaucrats in Washington, d C. Now, there
- 10:56Speaker 4: is no official closing or in dat announced for FEMA
- 11:00Speaker 4: or any other federal office or department that responds to disasters. Clearly,
- 11:04Speaker 4: the President wants to make sure that this is done
- 11:07Speaker 4: in a very responsible way and most importantly, that emergency
- 11:11Speaker 4: management response from the government is much better than it
- 11:15Speaker 4: is right now. You don't have to look very far
- 11:17Speaker 4: back in history to see also that FEMA may have
- 11:20Speaker 4: been involved in significant political actions, picking winners and losers
- 11:25Speaker 4: in the United States, depending on if you're in a
- 11:27Speaker 4: liberal state or a liberal city, or a conservative state
- 11:31Speaker 4: or a conservative city. Presidents made it clear that politics
- 11:34Speaker 4: shouldn't matter when you're dealing with emergencies, especially when you're
- 11:38Speaker 4: someone that may have lost everything, your home, your cars,
- 11:41Speaker 4: and even had a job that disappeared because of a disaster.
- 11:45Speaker 4: And this is exactly why the President has the backing
- 11:48Speaker 4: of the American people on this issue.
