- 0:15Speaker 4: Black a bus boz.
- 0:23Speaker 5: Yeah, listen to to.
- 0:38Speaker 6: I don't Joy, Yeah, Joy.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You know you love.
- 1:13Speaker 7: Turn you gotta turn.
- 1:41Speaker 8: Got to turn the mouth, the turn you probably got
- 1:44Speaker 8: to turn the mouth, the turn out the water the money.
- 1:49Speaker 4: Look, come come on, you'll think that.
- 2:00Speaker 9: Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 10: Good morning everybody. You'll listen to the voice. Come on,
- 2:06Speaker 10: dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey had a
- 2:10Speaker 10: radio show. Yep, yeap. Sometimes all I can say, help, man,
- 2:19Speaker 10: how far I've come is really unbelievable. But you know
- 2:22Speaker 10: I finally figured it out.
- 2:23Speaker 4: Man.
- 2:25Speaker 10: God allowed me to have the life I've had so
- 2:31Speaker 10: that I can become experienced at so many different things.
- 2:36Speaker 10: And in this experience, when I'm talking and sharing with people,
- 2:41Speaker 10: I will be able to relate to a lot of
- 2:43Speaker 10: different circumstances, not exact, but just the circumstances.
- 2:46Speaker 4: You know.
- 2:47Speaker 10: You know, if a person comes to me and they say, man,
- 2:50Speaker 10: I've been down and out, Okay, well I know what
- 2:52Speaker 10: that is.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Man.
- 2:53Speaker 10: I didn't I didn't have any direction. Okay, got that
- 2:56Speaker 10: been there?
- 2:58Speaker 4: Man?
- 2:58Speaker 10: At one point in time, Man, I just kept powering
- 3:00Speaker 10: mistake on top of mistake. Okay, so you know, I
- 3:08Speaker 10: think what I'm trying to say to everybody is when
- 3:10Speaker 10: you're going through life and life is dealing the cards
- 3:14Speaker 10: that it deals, I want you to understand that life
- 3:18Speaker 10: deals everybody these cards. The disappointment card, the setback card,
- 3:25Speaker 10: the failure card, the mishap card, the unexpected misery card.
- 3:32Speaker 10: Everybody gonna get, the grief card, everybody gonna get, the
- 3:37Speaker 10: rash of bad decision card, everybody gonna get them. Understand
- 3:42Speaker 10: that going in that everybody is gonna get these cards
- 3:51Speaker 10: is how you play them, though, you know, from time
- 3:54Speaker 10: to time, one more time, it's how you play them.
- 3:57Speaker 4: Uh you know.
- 3:58Speaker 10: From time to time when I'm watching TV, I love
- 4:01Speaker 10: to watch the World Series of Poker. I like watching
- 4:04Speaker 10: poker tournaments on TV because it's really weird. What's happened
- 4:10Speaker 10: to sport? To a poker they're actually trying to call
- 4:14Speaker 10: it a sport, you know, And as to everyday guide
- 4:17Speaker 10: that doesn't have to be athletically inclined to anything. Who
- 4:21Speaker 10: has a shot of winning a title if they play
- 4:25Speaker 10: their cards right. The best poker players in the world
- 4:30Speaker 10: don't have the best hands. They just make the best plays.
- 4:36Speaker 10: I've seen guys win a hand with nine to two
- 4:39Speaker 10: in they hand that's nothing, and win their hand because
- 4:43Speaker 10: they knew the bluff, they knew the odds, they calculated risks,
- 4:49Speaker 10: they made the stakes higher than the other person was
- 4:52Speaker 10: willing to pay. They gave off the illusion that they
- 4:56Speaker 10: had something when in actuality, they had nothing. So what
- 5:01Speaker 10: I enjoy about poker and watching it is that these people,
- 5:06Speaker 10: these people here, play the hand they dealt and it
- 5:11Speaker 10: ain't always a good hand. But it ain't whether your
- 5:14Speaker 10: hand is good. And it ain't whether you're gonna get
- 5:16Speaker 10: dealt bad cards or not, because you gonna get dealt
- 5:19Speaker 10: some bad cars. Everybody ain't finna get two bullets.
- 5:21Speaker 4: In their hand. You ain't finna get two aces when
- 5:23Speaker 4: you get dealt. Uh.
- 5:25Speaker 10: You know, when you playing draw poker, some of your
- 5:27Speaker 10: cards gonna be nothing. But you gotta turn that nothing
- 5:30Speaker 10: into something. So when you get dealt these cards in life,
- 5:34Speaker 10: it ain't the fact that you getting to keep getting
- 5:36Speaker 10: them dealt. I was talking with a young person yesterday
- 5:39Speaker 10: and we were talking, and we keep having the same
- 5:42Speaker 10: conversation over and over and over and they could not
- 5:45Speaker 10: understand why they were not moving forward. But I said,
- 5:48Speaker 10: you don't understand. Every time we talk we have the
- 5:51Speaker 10: exact same conversation. It is simply because you keep getting
- 5:56Speaker 10: your cards and you playing them the same way.
- 6:00Speaker 4: See.
- 6:00Speaker 10: Until you make a conscious of the conscious decision to
- 6:05Speaker 10: do something different, the results will continue to be the same.
- 6:10Speaker 10: See here's here's here's the way this works. When you're
- 6:16Speaker 10: dealt to disappointments in life, it's how you handle the
- 6:19Speaker 10: disappointments that determine their outcome and who you are. Because
- 6:24Speaker 10: everybody gonna be disappointment, Everybody gonna lose a loved one,
- 6:27Speaker 10: Everybody gonna make a bad decision, Everybody gonna end wake
- 6:30Speaker 10: up one morning and have done something they regretted. Everybody
- 6:34Speaker 10: gonna get caught at the wrong time. Every everybody gonna
- 6:38Speaker 10: make a mistake.
- 6:39Speaker 4: It ain't just you.
- 6:40Speaker 10: That's how you play your cards when they get dealt
- 6:43Speaker 10: to you. That determine who you are. Now, how do
- 6:46Speaker 10: I play my cards better? First of all, it's a mindset.
- 6:50Speaker 10: Quit looking at everything as just the end when it
- 6:53Speaker 10: happens to you. Oh lord, woe is me? No, everybody
- 6:58Speaker 10: got your circumstance is somewhere. It ain't old woe as me.
- 7:03Speaker 10: It's hold on, man, Okay, let me play this out
- 7:06Speaker 10: to see how God done connected this to something else.
- 7:09Speaker 4: See.
- 7:09Speaker 10: Soon as a person have a setback, what's the first
- 7:11Speaker 10: thing A lot of people do, They go straight negative.
- 7:13Speaker 10: I can't see even get a break. I can't seem
- 7:16Speaker 10: to move forward. Hold on, man, do you realize this
- 7:18Speaker 10: could be connected to something? See you got to understand, man,
- 7:23Speaker 10: that this thing is all connected. That you not having
- 7:25Speaker 10: these mishaps and these spills and accidents and falls for
- 7:29Speaker 10: no reason. It's so you can become experienced at them.
- 7:32Speaker 10: So when he takes you to the next level when
- 7:35Speaker 10: it happens again, you have no how and how to
- 7:37Speaker 10: handle it. If you keep throwing yourself off the cliff
- 7:40Speaker 10: every time something happened, you just gonna be a cliff
- 7:44Speaker 10: diverl man, Stop tripping yourself out. I was talking to
- 7:48Speaker 10: this young person. I kept saying, and you know what,
- 7:50Speaker 10: they tried to tell me. I'm trying to stay positive.
- 7:53Speaker 10: But the people around here they just killing that. Oh
- 7:56Speaker 10: I see. So when you learn something and you know something,
- 8:01Speaker 10: you don't take ownership of it. You allow other people
- 8:04Speaker 10: to come into what you know and believe and shake
- 8:08Speaker 10: it loose from you. I don't care who you are.
- 8:09Speaker 10: You not doing me like that. Here's a deal. I
- 8:12Speaker 10: have a gift that was given to me from God.
- 8:15Speaker 10: That is the gift of comedy. That's what I've done.
- 8:17Speaker 10: I've made the bulk of my living on that skill set.
- 8:21Speaker 4: Right there.
- 8:22Speaker 10: There are comedians who are supposedly friends of mine, who
- 8:25Speaker 10: I've worked with, who get around in huddles with one
- 8:28Speaker 10: another and they say, man, Steve really ain't funny. I
- 8:31Speaker 10: don't see what they be laughing at. He ain't funny
- 8:33Speaker 10: to me. He wasn't the funniest king to me. Excuse me,
- 8:38Speaker 10: you're irrelevant in this conversation because irregardless as to how
- 8:42Speaker 10: you feel about me, there are people think that I'm
- 8:45Speaker 10: knocked down kill over funny. But more importantly, I own
- 8:49Speaker 10: the gift that God gave to me. I take ownership
- 8:52Speaker 10: of his blessing. Cause you don't think it's so. You
- 8:55Speaker 10: ain't taking that from me. Stop letting people steal your joy,
- 9:00Speaker 10: letting people take what you're supposed to know. Look, I'm
- 9:06Speaker 10: a kind person at heart. Man, You ain't nothing. Now
- 9:09Speaker 10: you sit here going man, I guess I ain't what's
- 9:11Speaker 10: your tripping for.
- 9:12Speaker 4: You are a kind person, own that take ownership of it.
- 9:18Speaker 10: Stop letting things God has given you be taken away
- 9:22Speaker 10: from others.
- 9:23Speaker 4: The devil is a cold player, and he got cold players.
- 9:26Speaker 10: Working for him, just shaking, just taking stuff from you.
- 9:29Speaker 10: You know, I'm a hard worker. I really am intelligent.
- 9:32Speaker 4: You stupid man. I thought I was a hard worker.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Man.
- 9:36Speaker 4: They came in here and said I was stupid.
- 9:37Speaker 11: Man.
- 9:38Speaker 4: I don't know what I'm doing wrong. What excuse me?
- 9:41Speaker 4: You're a very bright person. Hey, y'all take ownership.
- 9:45Speaker 10: When God gives you something, blesses you would a gift,
- 9:47Speaker 10: a talent, a skill set, a mindset.
- 9:51Speaker 4: Own it.
- 9:51Speaker 10: Don't let people come in here and take it from you. Man, Okay,
- 9:55Speaker 10: I probably shouldn't have went that.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 10: Ladies and gentlemen, let me have you undivided attention. This

- 10:27Speaker 10: faith and patience, wait on it, trust in it, ask
- 10:32Speaker 10: him to order your steps, and then give you the
- 10:34Speaker 10: strength to deal with it.
- 10:37Speaker 4: That's what I'm doing today.
- 10:39Speaker 10: Just Strengthen me because I see right now you ain't
- 10:42Speaker 10: coming when I want you, but I know you will
- 10:45Speaker 10: be on time. Strengthen me to withstand till you get here.

- 11:06Speaker 10: comeback Kid. What I do say is on your mind
- 11:13Speaker 10: this day.
- 11:14Speaker 1: On this day on my mind.
- 11:16Speaker 11: I have to really think about it, my man.
- 11:24Speaker 4: In my mind. Yeah, yeah, but I wanted to just
- 11:27Speaker 4: do it in the same rhythm though.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Oh clearly.
- 11:31Speaker 12: Well yeah, Uncle, I was thinking about man on the comebacks.
- 11:34Speaker 12: You talk about it, but God is so good.
- 11:36Speaker 11: Man ain't like God was like you, Uncle Steve. We
- 11:42Speaker 11: all in trouble.
- 11:43Speaker 10: Boy. Well, if God was like you, wouldn't weep be
- 11:46Speaker 10: in trouble. God wouldn't be able to come half the
- 11:48Speaker 10: time because he be, he'd be sick.
- 11:51Speaker 4: No, you're gonna tell me I ain't like God.
- 11:54Speaker 10: I know that, But then let me tell you who
- 11:56Speaker 10: we really hope He ain't like?
- 11:58Speaker 4: You know, got ivy hooked up? I thought you was God.
- 12:03Speaker 10: Well my goodness, No, you don't know what you're gonna do.
- 12:09Speaker 11: You lose?
- 12:10Speaker 4: No, So I ain't one.
- 12:12Speaker 10: I keep telling people I'm a Christian, okay, but I'm
- 12:18Speaker 10: an entry level Christian. I don't practice advanced Christianity. I'm
- 12:22Speaker 10: not going to want that.
- 12:24Speaker 13: Just like with anything else, you don't always stay in
- 12:27Speaker 13: the entry level position.
- 12:29Speaker 4: No, no, no, no, no, move up six.
- 12:33Speaker 10: Yeah, I'm at the entry level because I can do
- 12:35Speaker 10: this type of Christianity. See, Jr. Junior just took a
- 12:39Speaker 10: shot at me. Junior said, ain't we glad? God ain't
- 12:43Speaker 10: like you? Because you would be? Well, let me tell
- 12:46Speaker 10: you who else we glad? And I'm assuming that because
- 12:51Speaker 10: as a Christian, the scripture clearly and I'm only going
- 12:56Speaker 10: by scripture. Do unto others as you would have them
- 13:01Speaker 10: do unto you.
- 13:01Speaker 4: So this morning, like you want to be treated? Yes,
- 13:05Speaker 4: just how Junior wanted to be treated.
- 13:08Speaker 10: We see, Oh man, see that's how that's like you
- 13:12Speaker 10: would want.
- 13:12Speaker 11: To be treated.
- 13:13Speaker 10: No, no like you wanted. So Junior came for me.
- 13:17Speaker 10: Junior must wanted me to come for him. See that's
- 13:21Speaker 10: when you do entry level Christianity. It's so much easier.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Is this how we're starting to show.
- 13:27Speaker 10: You exactly how we started? Tell me how be lucky
- 13:33Speaker 10: like you? Well, let me tell you who else we
- 13:35Speaker 10: lucky here?

- 14:30Speaker 11: I got it for you. Surely this is no spring break.
- 14:32Speaker 11: Let's go Okay.
- 14:35Speaker 3: Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach Kusha Pleach speaking. Who's
- 14:39Speaker 3: this a Cusha? This is mister Rowland Barn assistant principal
- 14:44Speaker 3: here at academy or your daughter? Are you Shu goes?
- 14:49Speaker 1: Yes?
- 14:50Speaker 4: What's going on?
- 14:50Speaker 14: Is everything okay?
- 14:51Speaker 3: Everything is trying to well? Let me be honest, it's
- 14:54Speaker 3: not good right now. I wanted to call and actually
- 14:58Speaker 3: have a I have a conversation with you about Aisha.
- 15:03Speaker 14: Oh God, all right, tell me what's going on? What's
- 15:06Speaker 14: going on with Ayisha?
- 15:08Speaker 3: Well, as you know, spring break is going to be
- 15:10Speaker 3: coming up in March.
- 15:12Speaker 14: You do that right, Yeah, somewhere that he's looking for it.
- 15:16Speaker 3: Yeah, Well, we have a bit of an issue here.
- 15:19Speaker 3: I have done some research and I'm looking at all
- 15:22Speaker 3: of the kids and how they're doing, how well they're
- 15:24Speaker 3: doing when their school works, and Aisha doesn't seem to
- 15:27Speaker 3: be doing well as should be living up to the
- 15:32Speaker 3: expectations of the academy. And what we're going to have
- 15:35Speaker 3: to do this spring break is i Issha will not
- 15:39Speaker 3: be allowed to take a spring break with the rest
- 15:41Speaker 3: of the kids. We're going to need her to come
- 15:43Speaker 3: into school, and there's several kids that are not going
- 15:46Speaker 3: to be able to go on spring break, and I
- 15:48Speaker 3: used to happen to be one of them. There's at
- 15:50Speaker 3: least forty to fifty kids that will be coming to
- 15:53Speaker 3: school that entire week that spring break is the most
- 15:57Speaker 3: of the kids are out on spring break.
- 15:59Speaker 14: You have to be mistaken. I mean, my daughter is
- 16:01Speaker 14: a straight age student. I'm sure you've got you can't.
- 16:06Speaker 3: She is actually the only eyes at the academy man,
- 16:09Speaker 3: and I you know, I've looked at her her grades
- 16:13Speaker 3: in the past. She's had some greates, so wonderful grades
- 16:15Speaker 3: in the past, and I don't know what's taking place
- 16:18Speaker 3: this semester that she just seems to have dropped the ball.
- 16:24Speaker 3: And what we want to do is, you know, keep
- 16:26Speaker 3: these kids focused. As you know, you have to be
- 16:28Speaker 3: accepted to be here at this particular school. So you know,
- 16:32Speaker 3: it leaves me no other outlet but to have her
- 16:36Speaker 3: come in and we're going to buckle down and try
- 16:38Speaker 3: to get them back on track. So I wanted to
- 16:40Speaker 3: personally give you a call and let you know what's
- 16:43Speaker 3: going on in Iasa here at the Academy, and this.
- 16:46Speaker 14: Is terrible This is absolutely terrible. I mean, we are
- 16:49Speaker 14: here already in January and I'm getting a call that
- 16:52Speaker 14: my daughter's not doing good, and now you're going to
- 16:54Speaker 14: tell me she can't go on a spring great trip
- 16:56Speaker 14: in March if she I mean, as far as I'm
- 16:58Speaker 14: gonna try, my stater straight as straight age. She's an
- 17:00Speaker 14: amazing student, she does really hard work. She always afford
- 17:04Speaker 14: to go to school. And I get a call today
- 17:06Speaker 14: that she can't go in March. Well, I mean, she's
- 17:08Speaker 14: got to be kidding me.
- 17:10Speaker 3: I mean, we're I don't. Are you going somewhere in March, ma'am,
- 17:12Speaker 3: I don't. I'm you're saying going somewhere on trip? Well?
- 17:14Speaker 3: Are you? Are you scheduled going on the trip?
- 17:17Speaker 14: I'm not going anywhere she's going on the trip. I'm
- 17:19Speaker 14: giving her full permission to go on the trip.
- 17:21Speaker 3: Okay, Well, unfortunately, I'm requesting that she's at school. So
- 17:27Speaker 3: I don't know if your trip costs you a lot
- 17:29Speaker 3: of money or if you can get a refund. But
- 17:32Speaker 3: I'm calling you letting you know I need her there
- 17:35Speaker 3: on March eleventh in the classroom so we can buckle
- 17:38Speaker 3: down and try to get her back on track.
- 17:40Speaker 14: No, Well, I'm telling you I paid for the trip
- 17:42Speaker 14: and she's going on the trip. I'm sorry. I don't
- 17:45Speaker 14: no your phone call because it's so late in the game.
- 17:48Speaker 14: I'm sorry she's going on the trip.
- 17:50Speaker 3: No, MISSQUSA, she's not going on the trip. She's actually
- 17:53Speaker 3: going to be coming into school and she'll be there
- 17:55Speaker 3: March eleventh, from Monday through Friday.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Now, I don't know who you're talking to.
- 17:59Speaker 14: That's my child. Child, I'm telling her to go.
- 18:02Speaker 3: But she's your child. But she's my student. And right now,
- 18:05Speaker 3: all of my students are gonna be that are that
- 18:08Speaker 3: are not doing well in their in their classes, are
- 18:10Speaker 3: gonna be there during spring break and they're gonna get
- 18:13Speaker 3: their business together.
- 18:16Speaker 14: Telling me that, you're reprimanding me like I'm a child.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Okay, she's going with No, she's not going on a trip,
- 18:23Speaker 3: and you're telling me what you're trying to override my position,
- 18:27Speaker 3: and that's what's not gonna happen. She has to be there.
- 18:30Speaker 3: You might as well start looking for a refund because
- 18:33Speaker 3: she's not gonna not be there. So I don't need
- 18:36Speaker 3: her there Monday through body of swing breaks so we
- 18:38Speaker 3: can get her back on course.
- 18:40Speaker 15: We listen.

- 19:15Speaker 3: because of grades. They are not up to par. She
- 19:18Speaker 3: needs to be more concerned about her grade and not
- 19:20Speaker 3: going and hanging out a lot of gagging around wherever
- 19:23Speaker 3: you're sending her. No, it's not happening. I want all

- 20:15Speaker 14: Guess what she's going to spring break. She's staying in

- 22:49Speaker 13: three pm. She didn't get out the salon until seven

- 22:57Speaker 13: more hair appointment more.
- 22:59Speaker 11: Important than me?
- 23:01Speaker 1: Is her hair more important than I am?
- 23:03Speaker 4: Come on?
- 23:04Speaker 10: Absolutely? Was it a surprise or was everybody?
- 23:13Speaker 13: Well, yeah, she knew because he said we were going
- 23:15Speaker 13: to take an evening cruise, so she knew.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 23:23Speaker 4: Yeah she should have.
- 23:24Speaker 10: She should have known that that salon she go down
- 23:28Speaker 10: there as ghetto and them appointments ain't nobody on time.
- 23:32Speaker 4: She know that.
- 23:34Speaker 1: It does take a long time.
- 23:38Speaker 10: Yeah, if it takes four hours and you're gonna miss
- 23:42Speaker 10: the appointment, and you shouldn't have booked it at three.
- 23:45Speaker 10: You should have booked it earlier. And that was wrong
- 23:48Speaker 10: of her because this man ha paid this money. And
- 23:52Speaker 10: then when we try to do thoughtful stuff and then
- 23:55Speaker 10: it don't work out, called something you did.
- 23:58Speaker 4: Now you want us to just get over it?
- 24:01Speaker 1: All right?
- 24:02Speaker 11: All right?
- 24:04Speaker 4: Was wrong for that?
- 24:05Speaker 11: She should put a wig on, Yes, put a wig
- 24:08Speaker 11: on it.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Some times you should go when the stylus can take you.
- 24:13Speaker 11: Hey, the boat leave at seven.
- 24:16Speaker 1: You all know black women in their heirs.
- 24:19Speaker 4: Salon whig, Salon is open. You could have bought that
- 24:25Speaker 4: wig a team.
- 24:27Speaker 1: I'm glad you guys like wigs though. I like that part.
- 24:29Speaker 1: That's what I got out of this.
- 24:31Speaker 11: All right.
- 24:32Speaker 13: Uh. Moving on to Terarica in Birmingham, Tarikh writes, I
- 24:36Speaker 13: asked my child's father to help me plant some flowers,
- 24:39Speaker 13: flowers in my front yard. He came over and he
- 24:42Speaker 13: wanted sex afterwards. We haven't had sex in twelve years,
- 24:45Speaker 13: and I don't want him, he said, I heard his feelings.
- 24:48Speaker 13: Should I apologize for how I reacted?
- 24:56Speaker 4: Did miss some of what?
- 24:57Speaker 1: She asked her child's father to come over?
- 25:00Speaker 10: Her child's father. I thought you said her husband's father
- 25:06Speaker 10: her child had sex in twelve years.
- 25:11Speaker 4: Okay, So wait, he came over, planted the.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Flowers, and then he wanted sex afterwards?
- 25:16Speaker 10: What happened out here taking all the holes? You see
- 25:18Speaker 10: me down here on my knee.
- 25:20Speaker 4: What's up that doesn't go to garter?
- 25:22Speaker 13: We're just playing. Yeah, we're just planning flowers. How does
- 25:25Speaker 13: that do go to wait to sex?
- 25:28Speaker 1: What afterwards?
- 25:30Speaker 3: Ow?
- 25:31Speaker 4: And then he got I don't want him? What you
- 25:33Speaker 4: called me phone?
- 25:36Speaker 13: Well he's a good maybe he had good skills. Yeah,
- 25:39Speaker 13: you know is out here in the front yard. So
- 25:44Speaker 13: she could have called a landscaper if she didn't want sex.
- 25:47Speaker 4: That's what you're saying. She wanted free work is what
- 25:51Speaker 4: she won'ted?
- 25:52Speaker 13: Uh huh okay, And how does that equate.
- 25:56Speaker 1: To sex afterwards? That's the question?
- 25:59Speaker 10: You what what makes you think this is?
- 26:05Speaker 4: That's that's my question.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Makes you what it's not?
- 26:09Speaker 4: What makes you think that this is free?
- 26:16Speaker 1: So should she apologize? Is what she's saying.
- 26:20Speaker 10: I think she should apologize for the misunderstanding?
- 26:24Speaker 4: Mm hmm.
- 26:26Speaker 10: And she should say I'm sorry if I had you
- 26:28Speaker 10: come over here and you thought this was what it's
- 26:31Speaker 10: going to resort to, So I apologize for that.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Asked him to help her. Should so there was no miss.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Say about the ground?
- 26:43Speaker 4: Oh my plan right now?
- 26:47Speaker 1: She asked him he could. Why didn't he just say no?
- 26:53Speaker 4: Because he thought it?
- 26:54Speaker 10: Because, let me tell you, because because of the way
- 26:57Speaker 10: she asked.
- 26:59Speaker 11: What you're doing, se I ain't playing no roses?
- 27:04Speaker 4: Well, why don't you come over?
- 27:07Speaker 3: I need?
- 27:08Speaker 4: I need my rose is planted?
- 27:12Speaker 1: He doesn't say that, she said.
- 27:14Speaker 13: She asked him if she didn't, she didn't say. She
- 27:17Speaker 13: asked him with a sexy voice.
- 27:18Speaker 4: She okay, just what she said? You want to come
- 27:22Speaker 4: over and dig up my yard?
- 27:26Speaker 10: He said, hell, yeah, yard, I'll be right over there.
- 27:35Speaker 13: Wow that okay, moving on, moving on, I will agree
- 27:39Speaker 13: to disagree. This is from Corey and Denver. Corey writes,
- 27:43Speaker 13: my wife and I separated for a few months and
- 27:45Speaker 13: we got back together after marriage counseling.
- 27:48Speaker 1: I don't think our.
- 27:48Speaker 13: Marriage is going to last. She wants to start a family,
- 27:51Speaker 13: but my heart isn't in it. Should I be honest
- 27:54Speaker 13: with her and end the marriage?
- 27:56Speaker 4: Now?
- 27:57Speaker 11: Wow? Waymen, bro?
- 27:59Speaker 10: So okay, now this is a guy that wrote this. Yeah, yeah,
- 28:03Speaker 10: of course he wants out.
- 28:04Speaker 4: Of the marriage.
- 28:05Speaker 1: He doesn't. Why is the counseling then? Why why did
- 28:08Speaker 1: he do that?
- 28:09Speaker 13: Why not just end it because they separated for a
- 28:12Speaker 13: few months.
- 28:13Speaker 10: Well, he was hoping that the counselor was going to
- 28:15Speaker 10: say something to justify Yeah.
- 28:18Speaker 4: See what, we won't out. We need validation.
- 28:21Speaker 10: Oh okay, that's why the counselor said, we don't need
- 28:24Speaker 10: to be together.
- 28:25Speaker 13: You know.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Oh okay, But he wants.
- 28:28Speaker 10: Out of this relationship because they separated for a while.
- 28:31Speaker 4: He had a good time.
- 28:33Speaker 10: Now I ain't got back together and with the counseling
- 28:35Speaker 10: and all this here, now she want a baby, he don't.
- 28:38Speaker 10: Do you think I should just tell her I'm not
- 28:41Speaker 10: really feeling that and we end this marriage now, because
- 28:44Speaker 10: that's what he wants.
- 28:44Speaker 4: He wants his marriage, Yeah he does.
- 28:47Speaker 10: He counseling, ain't it? Separation ain't it? And the child show,
- 28:51Speaker 10: ain't it? So now that's what with this?
- 28:56Speaker 1: So should he tell the truth?
- 28:58Speaker 11: Not alone?
- 29:00Speaker 1: Oh my god?
- 29:04Speaker 4: Right here, this one right here, he can tell her
- 29:07Speaker 4: the truth.
- 29:08Speaker 13: Yeah, okay, thank you.
- 29:11Speaker 4: But he's already three told three lies.
- 29:15Speaker 1: What were the three lives lies?
- 29:16Speaker 4: Already? This ain't the first time the baby conversation that
- 29:20Speaker 4: came up.
- 29:21Speaker 10: You better believe that about having a family, he said, yeah, yeah,
- 29:25Speaker 10: one day, I want a family. He just didn't stay
- 29:27Speaker 10: when he knew. He knew then he didn't want no kids.
- 29:31Speaker 10: He was just thinking maybe he changed his mind. The
- 29:34Speaker 10: other lie was I'm separated from you, but he wasn't
- 29:37Speaker 10: separated from her. See man, a man, don't go get
- 29:41Speaker 10: separated from you and then don't do nothing. And then
- 29:44Speaker 10: the other lie was I go to counselor he knew good. Hell, well,
- 29:47Speaker 10: that wasn't gonna turn into nothing. I know the three
- 29:49Speaker 10: lies he told you.
- 29:51Speaker 11: Sure you want to stop lying on you, Sure you
- 29:53Speaker 11: want to do that?
- 29:55Speaker 5: Tell her it's over, he doesn't want her. That's we'll
- 29:58Speaker 5: be trying to get to the truth.
- 30:01Speaker 4: I don't recommend it, but the true Holly, Yes, all right.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Your truth and lie ratio, and.
- 30:16Speaker 13: It is.
- 30:20Speaker 10: Not that shows you how successful I am, because that
- 30:24Speaker 10: both of you are in total compete.
- 30:27Speaker 1: It's crazy. Tell me the truth.
- 30:29Speaker 13: All right, Thank you, Celo. Coming up at the top
- 30:31Speaker 13: of the hour. We will have some entertainment news for
- 30:34Speaker 13: you right after this. It is crazy you're listening Harvey
- 30:38Speaker 13: Morning Show. All right, So let's get into this target
- 30:46Speaker 13: fast or the target boycott, whatever you want to call it.
- 30:49Speaker 13: Late Last week, Pastor Jamal Bryant announced that the Quote
- 30:53Speaker 13: Target Fast was officially over, and he claimed victory after
- 30:57Speaker 13: meetings with Target's new CEO, Michael. Pastor Bryant stated that
- 31:02Speaker 13: Target met three of their four primary demands, including fulfilling
- 31:06Speaker 13: a two billion dollar investment pledge in black owned businesses
- 31:10Speaker 13: and maintaining a Quote Belonging program. Over the weekend, a
- 31:13Speaker 13: team of organizers in Minnesota declared that the Target boycott
- 31:17Speaker 13: is still going on and challenged Pastor Bryant's authority to
- 31:23Speaker 13: just up and cancel the boycott. Pastor Bryant then released
- 31:26Speaker 13: a video to walk back his statement on the Target Fast.
- 31:30Speaker 13: Bryant said, quote, I made assumptions that were not true,
- 31:33Speaker 13: and I wanted to apologize for being a leader that
- 31:36Speaker 13: was out of touch with what the community wanted and
- 31:39Speaker 13: what the community was demanding. He stated that the expectations
- 31:44Speaker 13: of the black community extend beyond demand the four demands
- 31:47Speaker 13: presented to Target. He said he takes full responsibility for
- 31:51Speaker 13: quote not reading the room. On social media, the comments
- 31:55Speaker 13: were mostly in support of continuing the Target boycott, whether
- 31:58Speaker 13: Target brings back its d e I program or not.
- 32:02Speaker 13: A handful of other comments claimed they've missed targets and
- 32:06Speaker 13: can't wait to shut there again.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Can't we got.
- 32:14Speaker 10: But you know I think, uh, hats off though to
- 32:19Speaker 10: Jamal Bryant, uh for what he did.
- 32:23Speaker 4: He drew, he got attention. You know. Now, what I.
- 32:28Speaker 10: Do know is you can't make everybody happy. Uh So
- 32:32Speaker 10: he apologized. But you know, when you get a corporation
- 32:36Speaker 10: to make those type of concessions, that's a great move.
- 32:40Speaker 10: Now this group out of Minnesota wants more. Look, I
- 32:43Speaker 10: don't know what the demands are. I participated in the boycott.
- 32:48Speaker 10: I didn't did.
- 32:50Speaker 5: Yeah, we did very badly. Someday the boycotts they work.
- 33:01Speaker 5: You know, they can affect change, political change, social change.
- 33:05Speaker 1: I would also the bottom line Carlo.
- 33:09Speaker 10: Yes, I just won't admit that the boycott had no offect.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Out well, some of us suffered.
- 33:22Speaker 10: Yeah, I was driving about. I participated, but I was
- 33:27Speaker 10: going about. Wonder what they got in there?
- 33:31Speaker 5: Yeah, you guys going in target think.
- 33:36Speaker 4: I think Jamal Brian did a great thing. Man, I
- 33:39Speaker 4: had something to help.
- 33:41Speaker 10: And you know, man, we got to always remember that
- 33:43Speaker 10: part and then we have to remember the part about
- 33:45Speaker 10: you know that we're not gonna everybody. I mean look, man,
- 33:48Speaker 10: there's people that have given up on the reparations that
- 33:51Speaker 10: the United States.
- 33:52Speaker 4: Old black people.
- 33:53Speaker 10: I stopped that fight long time ago because already know
- 33:57Speaker 10: they ain't gonna give us a quarter, and I ain't
- 33:59Speaker 10: got no energy for it. You know, I just don't
- 34:01Speaker 10: have the energy for that fight because, uh, they're not
- 34:05Speaker 10: gonna do it. Man, this is the United States of America.
- 34:09Speaker 10: I don't know how we think we're gonna convince them
- 34:13Speaker 10: people to cut all of us a chink.
- 34:18Speaker 4: That man, we.
- 34:20Speaker 5: Should at least of slaves, should at least get free
- 34:24Speaker 5: college education, at the very least, at the very least.
- 34:28Speaker 11: I think I agree with you, but we just know
- 34:32Speaker 11: it's not gonna happen.
- 34:33Speaker 5: Oh no, I know the AgeX oh, I think all
- 34:36Speaker 5: of that, But we know the mule the acres that
- 34:40Speaker 5: all our answers forty acres.
- 34:43Speaker 16: Yes, yes, but yeah, thank you again, like you were saying,
- 34:48Speaker 16: Steve to Pastor Bryant for his efforts and what he's
- 34:51Speaker 16: done and what he continues to do, especially with.
- 34:53Speaker 1: This target Fastest. It's what's so Yeah.
- 34:58Speaker 10: But you know, also, let me say this, the group
- 35:01Speaker 10: out of Minneapolis, un Let's let me say this, Uh,
- 35:06Speaker 10: Jamal took the forefront in the beginning on it, and
- 35:12Speaker 10: Jamal made the call that we knew about that if
- 35:15Speaker 10: that was a group in Minneapolis. We didn't know about it,
- 35:18Speaker 10: but we did hear from Jamal Bryant. Yeah, so that's
- 35:22Speaker 10: why he took it upon himself. Now he apologized. You know,
- 35:27Speaker 10: every everybody wants something else, but uh, I think anybody
- 35:32Speaker 10: that's on his case about anything.
- 35:34Speaker 4: Need to relax because what he did was a great thing.
- 35:37Speaker 5: Yeah, and that's how the headquarters the target is in
- 35:40Speaker 5: Minneaco minutes.
- 35:41Speaker 9: Yeah, they might want to keep Jamal as the folks
- 35:45Speaker 9: person in the front.
- 35:51Speaker 1: You know what you're doing.
- 35:52Speaker 4: You might want to hold on to him.
- 35:56Speaker 13: All right, So moving on, Steve, you've had a great weekend,
- 36:00Speaker 13: I mean, just living your best life all weekend. You've
- 36:04Speaker 13: been finishing with lots of famous people, competitive fishermen.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Please tell us about it.
- 36:11Speaker 10: I was invited to the bass Masson's Classic. I was
- 36:14Speaker 10: supposed to go last year, but I had that mouth
- 36:17Speaker 10: surgery and so I couldn't. Yeah, I had mouth surgery,
- 36:23Speaker 10: so I couldn't make it last year.
- 36:24Speaker 1: That hurt me.
- 36:26Speaker 4: This year I got there.

- 56:58Speaker 4: Here it is strawberry letter.
- 57:00Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 57:00Speaker 13: Nephew's subject I can't imagine him with Big Mama. Dear
- 57:04Speaker 13: Stephen Shirley, I'm a forty five year old single mother
- 57:07Speaker 13: of five sons. My two youngest sons lived with my
- 57:10Speaker 13: mother because they went to spend the night with her
- 57:12Speaker 13: one time and she never let them return to my house.
- 57:15Speaker 13: I can't fight for them because she says I'm not
- 57:18Speaker 13: fit to be their mother. This feud started about three
- 57:21Speaker 13: years ago when my mama thought she had a boyfriend.
- 57:24Speaker 13: The guy didn't want her. He was just using her
- 57:27Speaker 13: for money and transportation. He's twelve years younger, so she
- 57:31Speaker 13: thought she was doing something big. Naturally, he came on
- 57:34Speaker 13: to me because I'm my mother's twin and every.
- 57:38Speaker 1: Way except wait.
- 57:40Speaker 13: My oldest children started calling her Big Mama when they
- 57:43Speaker 13: were young, and now she's lived up to that name.
- 57:46Speaker 1: She is big and tall with hazel eyes.
- 57:49Speaker 13: She was every man's dream back in the day, and
- 57:52Speaker 13: she can't deal with the fact that I'm pulling up
- 57:54Speaker 13: the rear and getting all of the attention now. I
- 57:57Speaker 13: didn't purposely take her man away from her. It happened gradually.
- 58:02Speaker 13: She asked me to spend the night with her one
- 58:05Speaker 13: night so I could take her to an eye appointment
- 58:07Speaker 13: early the next morning. While she slept, her boyfriend chased
- 58:11Speaker 13: me all over the house, trying to pull off my nightgown.
- 58:14Speaker 13: When he finally caught me, I played like I was
- 58:17Speaker 13: resisting him, but our chemistry was too strong to fight it.
- 58:22Speaker 13: We snuck around for two months before he finally told
- 58:25Speaker 13: Mama what was going on. My older children have adjusted
- 58:28Speaker 13: to him being with me and not Big Mama anymore.
- 58:32Speaker 13: My oldest son told me that he can't imagine my
- 58:34Speaker 13: boyfriend was ever with Big Mama. I can't either, because
- 58:38Speaker 13: he is a superstar lover, and I'm surprised she could
- 58:42Speaker 13: keep up with him. I'm tired of fighting with Big Mama,
- 58:45Speaker 13: So how do I stop her? How do I get
- 58:48Speaker 13: her to stop playing games and give me my children back?
- 58:52Speaker 1: I don't understand how you can't get your children. They're
- 58:55Speaker 1: your children. How can you not get your children back
- 58:57Speaker 1: from your mom?
- 58:58Speaker 13: And anyway, there's a lot left out in this letter,
- 59:01Speaker 13: but there are two different problems going on here.
- 59:04Speaker 1: They're both major.
- 59:06Speaker 13: First, your mom has two of your five children you
- 59:09Speaker 13: say you can't get back. And secondly, you slept with
- 59:12Speaker 13: your mom's man. Okay, what kind of person are you?
- 59:15Speaker 13: Why are you in competition with your own mother over
- 59:19Speaker 13: a man? When you make statements like we're alike in
- 59:22Speaker 13: every way except waight, or when you say now you're
- 59:26Speaker 13: pulling up the rear and getting all of the attention,
- 59:29Speaker 13: this makes you sound like you're jealous of your mom.
- 59:32Speaker 13: With all the other men out here, why do you
- 59:35Speaker 13: have to take your mom's man? The sad part is
- 59:38Speaker 13: you don't even get it. I mean, just because he
- 59:40Speaker 13: was chasing you around the room doesn't mean you had
- 59:42Speaker 13: to let him catch you.
- 59:43Speaker 1: You already said that.
- 59:44Speaker 13: You know you tried to resist him at first, but
- 59:46Speaker 13: the chemistry was too strong, and all of that.
- 59:51Speaker 1: You had to.
- 59:52Speaker 13: Prove to your mom that you could get him. Was
- 59:55Speaker 13: that what you were doing? You're the cute one. Now
- 59:58Speaker 13: what are you doing? I mean you have no remorse.
- 1:00:01Speaker 13: You don't even see why your mom is retaliating by
- 1:00:03Speaker 13: calling you unfit and trying to keep your two boys.
- 1:00:06Speaker 13: There must be something to it, or you would have
- 1:00:09Speaker 13: your boys. I really don't understand why you can't get
- 1:00:11Speaker 13: them that you claim you want. You know you claim
- 1:00:15Speaker 13: you want the boys. Your mom is not the one
- 1:00:18Speaker 13: playing games here. I think you are. You need to
- 1:00:21Speaker 13: grow up. You need to stop worrying about your mom
- 1:00:24Speaker 13: and her looks and all of that, and worry about
- 1:00:26Speaker 13: how you are going to be a better person, how
- 1:00:28Speaker 13: you're going to be a better daughter, and how you're
- 1:00:30Speaker 13: gonna be a better mom and get your kids back.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: If that's what you really want.
- 1:00:35Speaker 10: Steve, Well, this let ain't gonna take long because it
- 1:00:39Speaker 10: ain't about nothing.
- 1:00:41Speaker 4: This letter ain't about light of doub I don't even
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: know why you right? You really? What what?
- 1:00:48Speaker 10: Forty five year old single mother with five sons.
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: You're five, You got five sons and you a single mom.
- 1:00:56Speaker 10: Your two younger sisters live with my mother because they
- 1:00:58Speaker 10: want to spend the night with her one time, and
- 1:01:01Speaker 10: she never let them return to my house. I can't
- 1:01:05Speaker 10: fight for them because she says I'm not fit to
- 1:01:08Speaker 10: be their mother.
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: What kind of statement is that?
- 1:01:15Speaker 10: How hard are you really fighting to try to get
- 1:01:17Speaker 10: these kids back? How is it that a mother can't
- 1:01:21Speaker 10: get her kids back? The coach didn't tell you wasn't fit.
- 1:01:27Speaker 10: Social services didn't tell me to tell you wasn't fit.
- 1:01:30Speaker 10: Child Protective Services didn't tell you that they went over
- 1:01:34Speaker 10: there one night and she never.
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: Sent them back. Oh, I know what's happening here now?
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: You say this few started about three years ago.
- 1:01:43Speaker 10: When my mama thought she had a boyfriend.
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: Well, we're gonna find out. How long is she gonna
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: be taking that The guy didn't want her.
- 1:01:53Speaker 10: He was just using her for money in transportation twelve
- 1:01:56Speaker 10: years younger. So she thought she was doing something big. Naturally,
- 1:02:02Speaker 10: he came on to me because I'm my mother's twin
- 1:02:04Speaker 10: in every way except wait, wait a minute, I don't
- 1:02:08Speaker 10: understand that. So your mother thought she was doing something big. Naturally,
- 1:02:15Speaker 10: he came on to me because I'm my mother's twin
- 1:02:18Speaker 10: in every way except weight.
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: What do you mean naturally? He came on to you?
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: But you matter what you thought it was supposed to have?
- 1:02:28Speaker 10: Why because you find it in your mama?
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: Why because you don't weigh as much as your.
- 1:02:33Speaker 10: Mama sound to me like, and I'm gonna say this early.
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: I was gonna save it to the end. This is
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: a competition.
- 1:02:42Speaker 10: Yeah, And the competition started with you, you girl, You the
- 1:02:51Speaker 10: forty five year old with the five kids and can't
- 1:02:54Speaker 10: get nobody.
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: That's what the problem was.
- 1:02:57Speaker 10: Then your mama got somebody, and now you're talking about
- 1:03:01Speaker 10: she thinks she got a board for you. Well wait
- 1:03:04Speaker 10: till he see me, because which one is in? Everyone
- 1:03:09Speaker 10: except funny?
- 1:03:10Speaker 11: Wait?
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: Hang on, Steve, hang on.
- 1:03:12Speaker 13: We'll come back for part two of your response at
- 1:03:14Speaker 13: twenty three minutes after the hour today Strawberry letter, subject

- 1:04:05Speaker 13: crazy Strawberry letter.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: The subject I can't imagine him with big Mama.
- 1:04:10Speaker 10: I know you couldn't. That's the whole problem. Here's a
- 1:04:14Speaker 10: woman that's forty five years old. She's a single mother.
- 1:04:17Speaker 10: She got five sons. My two youngest sons lived with
- 1:04:21Speaker 10: my mother because they went to spend the night with
- 1:04:23Speaker 10: her one.
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: Time and she never let them return to my house.
- 1:04:28Speaker 10: Then a lady say I can't fight for them because
- 1:04:31Speaker 10: she says I'm not fit to beat their mother.
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: What Social Services didn't tell you this? Right, child?
- 1:04:38Speaker 10: Protective Services didn't tell you this, Resource Department didn't tell
- 1:04:43Speaker 10: you this. People to cut checks ain't told you this.
- 1:04:47Speaker 10: Your mama told you this, and she kept a kid.
- 1:04:51Speaker 10: Then she starts trying to tell the story. The feud
- 1:04:54Speaker 10: started about three years ago when my mama thought she
- 1:04:57Speaker 10: had a boyfriend.
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: He didn't want her.
- 1:05:01Speaker 10: He was just using her for money in transportation. He
- 1:05:03Speaker 10: twelve years younger. So she thought she would doing something big.
- 1:05:08Speaker 10: Then right out of nowhere. Naturally, he came on to
- 1:05:11Speaker 10: me because I'm my mother's twin in every way except
- 1:05:13Speaker 10: the weight. My oldest children started calling her Big Mama
- 1:05:17Speaker 10: when they were young, and now she's lived up to
- 1:05:20Speaker 10: the name. Well you next, you know, since you like
- 1:05:23Speaker 10: your mama in every way, Just want you to know
- 1:05:25Speaker 10: the weight coming your way too. It usually comes as
- 1:05:29Speaker 10: we age, So get ready we I'm just like my mother.
- 1:05:33Speaker 10: I'm my mama's twining without the weight. Oh it's coming
- 1:05:37Speaker 10: in of the day now, slow down. She is big
- 1:05:41Speaker 10: and tall with hazel eyes. She was every man's dream
- 1:05:45Speaker 10: back in the day. And she can't deal with the
- 1:05:48Speaker 10: fact that I'm pulling up the rear and getting all
- 1:05:51Speaker 10: the attention.
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: Now. Look, girl, lady, what's wrong with you?
- 1:05:56Speaker 10: What do you mean she can't deal with the fact
- 1:05:59Speaker 10: that you pulling up the rear and getting all the
- 1:06:01Speaker 10: attention now? Oh because you mama. Oh that's right, Oh
- 1:06:05Speaker 10: that's right. You You your mama's twin in every way. Ah,
- 1:06:09Speaker 10: So you every man's dream.
- 1:06:12Speaker 11: Yeah you.
- 1:06:12Speaker 10: The five sons baby Daddy dream too, Yeah you they
- 1:06:17Speaker 10: dream except there so so far right now you can't
- 1:06:19Speaker 10: get one of them, staye But you every man's dream,
- 1:06:22Speaker 10: you pulling up the red. Now she can't stand I
- 1:06:27Speaker 10: didn't purposely. Then here come the next statement, out of nowhere.
- 1:06:31Speaker 10: I didn't purposely take her man away from her. It
- 1:06:34Speaker 10: happened gradually. Girl, You a mess, You an absolute mess.
- 1:06:41Speaker 10: I don't know if you read this letter before you
- 1:06:43Speaker 10: sent it, but if you read it, you would see
- 1:06:47Speaker 10: this really ain't shining a favorable light on you at all.
- 1:06:50Speaker 10: I don't know what you thought by writing in Shirley
- 1:06:53Speaker 10: and I were supposed to say to you. She asked
- 1:06:56Speaker 10: me to spend the night with her one night so
- 1:06:58Speaker 10: I could take her to an appointment early the next morning. Okay,
- 1:07:06Speaker 10: while she slept, her boyfriend chased me all over the house,
- 1:07:12Speaker 10: trying to pull off my nightgowns. Now, we all that
- 1:07:17Speaker 10: been to Big Mama house. We all have been back
- 1:07:21Speaker 10: over to theur mom and daddy house. Most our houses
- 1:07:24Speaker 10: bigger than the house we grew up in. So how
- 1:07:28Speaker 10: big was old big Mama house? So all this chasing
- 1:07:32Speaker 10: you around?
- 1:07:33Speaker 4: How far was it? Wait?
- 1:07:34Speaker 10: Was y'all running from the kitchen table to the stove?
- 1:07:38Speaker 10: What was you running from the TV? What was you
- 1:07:40Speaker 10: running around the coffee table in front of the couch.
- 1:07:43Speaker 10: Big Mama ain't got no big house. This wasn't no
- 1:07:46Speaker 10: long chase, y'all. This wasn't a love. We was up
- 1:07:49Speaker 10: and down them steps. I headed out, said I was
- 1:07:51Speaker 10: down in the game room, and then I went around
- 1:07:54Speaker 10: through the family room. Then I ran up back down
- 1:07:57Speaker 10: by my golf simulator that I came back up through
- 1:08:00Speaker 10: where we got the bowling that at He was just
- 1:08:03Speaker 10: chasing me, really really, lady, ladies, lady with our fathers.
- 1:08:12Speaker 10: He chasing me, trying to take your night down off here'
- 1:08:17Speaker 10: here go another crazy statement. When he finally caught me,
- 1:08:21Speaker 10: I played like I was resisting him, but our chemistry
- 1:08:24Speaker 10: was too strong to fight. We snuck around for two
- 1:08:28Speaker 10: months before he finally told Big.
- 1:08:30Speaker 4: Mama what was going on.
- 1:08:32Speaker 10: Big Mama is your mother, so he just went on
- 1:08:36Speaker 10: and told her, hey, look, I'm gonna just keep the
- 1:08:38Speaker 10: real I'm with your daughter, and your older children have
- 1:08:42Speaker 10: a justice to him being with me and not Big
- 1:08:45Speaker 10: Mama anymore. My oldest son told me that he can't
- 1:08:48Speaker 10: imagine my boyfriend was ever with Big Mama, and I
- 1:08:51Speaker 10: can't either, because he is a superstar lover and I'm
- 1:08:54Speaker 10: surprised she could keep up with him. I'm tired of
- 1:09:00Speaker 10: fighting with big Mama. So how do I get her
- 1:09:02Speaker 10: to stop playing games and give me my children back?
- 1:09:06Speaker 10: See what that happened is you took her man. She
- 1:09:11Speaker 10: took your kids because she told this letter out of auder.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: Y'all.
- 1:09:16Speaker 10: She told you that two kids went over there to
- 1:09:18Speaker 10: spend the night, and she kept them saying, but then
- 1:09:20Speaker 10: she said the few started three years ago. So after
- 1:09:25Speaker 10: she took her man, the two kids went over there
- 1:09:28Speaker 10: one night and she kept them.
- 1:09:30Speaker 4: Ah, okay, that's what happened. So you took my man.
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: I took your kids, and you ain't fit to be
- 1:09:37Speaker 4: a mother. And you don't want me to tell everybody
- 1:09:39Speaker 4: what you really did. And that's why she can't get
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: his kids back.

- 1:09:58Speaker 10: And while we're here at Carr hands down, we can
- 1:10:01Speaker 10: stopping answer this question. Carol, Shelley got coke problem. First
- 1:10:05Speaker 10: of all, she don't cuss. Now, how we don't get

- 1:10:11Speaker 10: loan to cuss?

- 1:14:13Speaker 1: after this.
- 1:14:14Speaker 13: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:14:21Speaker 13: this is from Jose and Los Angeles. Jose says, my
- 1:14:24Speaker 13: wife is on a tennis team, but she's not a
- 1:14:26Speaker 13: good player. I've offered to pay for lessons, but she refused.
- 1:14:30Speaker 13: Last year, she sprained her ankle, but that didn't stop her.
- 1:14:33Speaker 13: Her tennis clothes are too snug. But I can't tell
- 1:14:36Speaker 13: her that her outfits are too tight. There's a tennis
- 1:14:39Speaker 13: match coming up, and her coach asked me if I
- 1:14:41Speaker 13: plan to let my wife participate. I don't control my wife,
- 1:14:44Speaker 13: so I went off on her coach. Should I mention
- 1:14:47Speaker 13: that to my wife or do I let her continue
- 1:14:49Speaker 13: to fail at something she loves.
- 1:14:52Speaker 4: No, you got she got the little tight outfits on?
- 1:14:57Speaker 4: Too tight?
- 1:14:57Speaker 11: Why she can't play?
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: It's too tight cutting up her circulation? So what should
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: he do?
- 1:15:08Speaker 10: Oh, he needn't take Well, I know she got a
- 1:15:13Speaker 10: muss aside.

- 1:15:16Speaker 1: be able to see that.
- 1:15:17Speaker 10: The closer, Well, you need to take a picture of
- 1:15:19Speaker 10: it and show up baby, baby, baby, it's a little
- 1:15:23Speaker 10: bit too And then video on her because a lot
- 1:15:26Speaker 10: of people don't know how they look when they play.
- 1:15:29Speaker 10: There you go vid on her and then they have
- 1:15:32Speaker 10: another video running right next to her with Serena on it.
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: Not gonna be good, Not.
- 1:15:41Speaker 11: Gonna be good.
- 1:15:42Speaker 4: Why did he go off on the.
- 1:15:43Speaker 13: Coach because the coach asked him if he plans to
- 1:15:47Speaker 13: let his wife participate, and he says he doesn't control
- 1:15:54Speaker 13: his wife. He didn't like the coach asking him about
- 1:15:57Speaker 13: his wife. You know what you guys are about your wife?
- 1:16:02Speaker 9: Okay, yes, but if she can't play, somebody got to
- 1:16:06Speaker 9: tell her she can't play. Close the two tights. Somebody

- 1:19:24Speaker 13: to get the follicles to attach to tissue and sprout
- 1:19:28Speaker 13: hair without needing a hair transplant. To be clear, researchers

- 1:25:34Speaker 13: break of the day. Time for Steve's closing remarks.
- 1:25:40Speaker 10: Okay, today, Tommy sent me something, Send me a caption
- 1:25:45Speaker 10: that I'm gonna keep because I oftentimes keep on quotes
- 1:25:49Speaker 10: in my motivational folder in my photostream, and I just
- 1:25:54Speaker 10: look at them from time to time when I'm feeling
- 1:25:56Speaker 10: a certain kind of ways. Sometimes i just need a
- 1:25:58Speaker 10: little uplift myself, you know. And Tommy sent me this today,
- 1:26:04Speaker 10: then I'm gonna share it with you, and it's gonna
- 1:26:06Speaker 10: cause me to expound on it a bit because it's
- 1:26:09Speaker 10: something I really do believe in. It says, do not
- 1:26:13Speaker 10: ask God to guide your footsteps if you're not willing
- 1:26:17Speaker 10: to move your feet. Do not ask God to guide
- 1:26:22Speaker 10: your footsteps if you're not willing to move your feet.
- 1:26:28Speaker 4: You know, folks, it's very simple.
- 1:26:32Speaker 10: God can put his finger on something to bless if
- 1:26:36Speaker 10: you give him something to put his finger on. But
- 1:26:40Speaker 10: you can't. You can't ask God to do something. And
- 1:26:42Speaker 10: you're making no effort. Lord, help me get a job,
- 1:26:46Speaker 10: but you ain't putting in no applications. Lord, help me
- 1:26:51Speaker 10: do right. But all you ever want to do is wrong.
- 1:26:55Speaker 10: You're just committed to wrong. You know, you got to
- 1:26:59Speaker 10: make a move in the right direction. You know, faith
- 1:27:01Speaker 10: without works is dead. So what Timmy sent me? Do
- 1:27:06Speaker 10: not ask God to guide your footsteps if you're not
- 1:27:10Speaker 10: willing to move your feet. It's something all of us,
- 1:27:13Speaker 10: and all of us are guilty of it. From time
- 1:27:14Speaker 10: to time. Sometimes we get complacent. Sometimes we just get
- 1:27:18Speaker 10: to feel inside for ourselves. You know, Oh man, I
- 1:27:21Speaker 10: guess it ain't meant to be. Oh Lord, what now?
- 1:27:25Speaker 11: You know?
- 1:27:26Speaker 4: Look, man, you can complain your.
- 1:27:29Speaker 10: Way through life if you want to, but you really
- 1:27:31Speaker 10: have to make an attitude adjustment. You got to get
- 1:27:34Speaker 10: two things moving, your attitude and your feet. Those two
- 1:27:39Speaker 10: things have to get moving. You gotta start taking steps.
- 1:27:43Speaker 10: You may not know the weight how to get to
- 1:27:45Speaker 10: the finish line, but the finish line is somewhere. It
- 1:27:48Speaker 10: ain't where you at. The finish line is never where
- 1:27:52Speaker 10: you're standing. So you gotta start taking some steps. And
- 1:27:56Speaker 10: once again, you may not know all the steps necessary
- 1:27:59Speaker 10: to get to the tape, but you gotta start the process. Man.
- 1:28:04Speaker 4: So, like the caption.
- 1:28:06Speaker 10: Says, stop asking God to guide your footsteps. If you
- 1:28:09Speaker 10: ain't willing to move your feet, you got to put
- 1:28:12Speaker 10: it into motion. Look, it's just a dream when you're
- 1:28:18Speaker 10: thinking about it, but you gotta put some You gotta
- 1:28:21Speaker 10: put your dreams to work. Motivation is when your dreams
- 1:28:26Speaker 10: put on work clothes. You gotta take your dreams and
- 1:28:30Speaker 10: put work clothes on them. Man, you gotta start stepping
- 1:28:34Speaker 10: in the right direction. You've got to make a move
- 1:28:37Speaker 10: towards the light. You've got to step towards the finished line.
- 1:28:40Speaker 10: You've got to start to get the way you're trying
- 1:28:43Speaker 10: to get to.
- 1:28:44Speaker 4: You gotta get to go. You gotta go to get period.
- 1:28:50Speaker 10: You cannot stay that wherever you're trying to get. You
- 1:28:53Speaker 10: can't be right where you at. It can't be. It
- 1:28:57Speaker 10: can't be. Give you look, this is this is a
- 1:29:01Speaker 10: silly example. But let's say your family reunion is in Wyoming.
- 1:29:11Speaker 4: Which I know is not That's why I said, And
- 1:29:15Speaker 4: you drive to Wyoming.
- 1:29:18Speaker 10: When you get to Wyoming, and you reach Wyoming, the
- 1:29:22Speaker 10: state of Wyoming, you still got to do.
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: Something because.
- 1:29:30Speaker 4: What where is the family reunion at? You just can't
- 1:29:34Speaker 4: go to Wyoming. Well, I'm here, Lord, you here, You
- 1:29:38Speaker 4: whore you.
- 1:29:40Speaker 10: Even when you get the way you say you're going,
- 1:29:42Speaker 10: you got to move around.
- 1:29:43Speaker 4: Let's say you get to the park where.
- 1:29:45Speaker 10: You're holding the family reunion. And you get to the park.
- 1:29:49Speaker 10: Once you get to the park, but what you gotta
- 1:29:52Speaker 10: do something. You're gonna play softball, volleyball, You're gonna sit
- 1:29:55Speaker 10: down and the tree play Domino. You're gonna barbecue, You're
- 1:29:57Speaker 10: gonna make the lemonade. You constantly gotta be doing something.
- 1:30:01Speaker 10: There is no when you get there, you there, and
- 1:30:03Speaker 10: there is no more movement required. There's movement required throughout
- 1:30:07Speaker 10: your life, because wherever you're trying to get to, it
- 1:30:10Speaker 10: ain't where you at. I can promise you that it's
- 1:30:13Speaker 10: never where you at. I'm doing very well in my life,
- 1:30:18Speaker 10: it ain't where I'm going. How would I be just
- 1:30:23Speaker 10: I'm here now? This it this it what. No more dreams, Steve,
- 1:30:29Speaker 10: no more visions. You want nothing else. You here, This
- 1:30:34Speaker 10: it for you. And it doesn't matter reason that people
- 1:30:37Speaker 10: look at me and go, man, you got all this.
- 1:30:38Speaker 10: I don't even see what you're tripping for. I ain't tripping.
- 1:30:42Speaker 10: I just want to be more than I am. I'm
- 1:30:45Speaker 10: really trying to be a better person. I really, really am.
- 1:30:49Speaker 10: I'm not content with the person I am. I could improve.
- 1:30:52Speaker 10: I could actually be a better person. So I'm in
- 1:30:56Speaker 10: the process. God ain't through with me yet.
- 1:30:57Speaker 4: He working on me. I'm trying.
- 1:31:00Speaker 10: I'm better than I used to be, but I'm still
- 1:31:03Speaker 10: got my feet moving. So I'm asking God to guide
- 1:31:07Speaker 10: my steps, but.
- 1:31:08Speaker 4: I got my feet moving.
- 1:31:09Speaker 11: Man.
- 1:31:11Speaker 10: Stop asking God to guide your footsteps. If you ain't
- 1:31:14Speaker 10: willing to move your feet, can't happen what you want.
- 1:31:18Speaker 10: Come on, man, stop that you're being unreasonable to God.
- 1:31:24Speaker 10: Guide in your footstep and moving your feet down the path.
- 1:31:27Speaker 10: That's two different that you got to do. That you
- 1:31:29Speaker 10: make one step, he'll make two. So if you don't
- 1:31:34Speaker 10: make the wand you cannot expect him to make the two,
- 1:31:39Speaker 10: he can touch you and bless you.
- 1:31:41Speaker 4: But you got to give him something to bless.
- 1:31:42Speaker 13: You.
- 1:31:42Speaker 4: Gotta do something. You can't sit in the house watching TV.
- 1:31:45Speaker 10: That's it. Stop asking God to guide your footsteps. If
- 1:31:50Speaker 10: you're not willing to move your feet.
- 1:31:52Speaker 4: Say the timing.
