Independent councillor, Alan Lawes from Navan attended the weekly Palestinian support protest yesterday evening in Newry and displayed a t-shirt and poster supporting Palestine Action. His actions risked possible arrest.Palestine Action (PAG) is proscribed as a terrorist organisation in the UK and protests have been ongoing to have the ban lifted.
