- 0:26Speaker 4: To I want to Joy.
- 0:50Speaker 3: Joy you.

- 1:29Speaker 3: You got to turn them out. Turn you probably got
- 1:44Speaker 3: to turn the mouth.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Turn out, turn the water the water jump look me.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come on, you'll think that.
- 2:01Speaker 5: Uh huh, I sure will. A good morning everybody. You
- 2:05Speaker 5: are listening to the voice. Come on, digney now one
- 2:08Speaker 5: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, today
- 2:13Speaker 5: is simple. I want to tell you. I want to
- 2:18Speaker 5: just talk to you about effort today. Just about effort.
- 2:25Speaker 5: You know, it's it's it's it's a word that people
- 2:28Speaker 5: use to describe sometimes trying. But what I found out
- 2:34Speaker 5: about trying is trying is just a noble way of
- 2:37Speaker 5: saying you didn't get it done. I tried when and
- 2:43Speaker 5: then everybody go, well, he tried, that was the best.
- 2:47Speaker 5: Well that's that's not.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Exactly true though, that that's that's not exactly true.
- 2:52Speaker 5: You are and I want to talk to you about
- 2:55Speaker 5: that because I don't want you to be one of
- 2:57Speaker 5: the people who just tried.
- 3:01Speaker 2: See trying. I mean, I gotta tell you to attempt something.
- 3:06Speaker 5: You're gonna have to first try, but I want you
- 3:09Speaker 5: to change your mindset from trying to getting it done. See,
- 3:15Speaker 5: that's a big difference. I'm really more apt to listen
- 3:19Speaker 5: to the person that says to me, I'm gonna get
- 3:21Speaker 5: it done. I'm gonna try. What try does is it
- 3:25Speaker 5: allows you to fail. It's the person that has the
- 3:28Speaker 5: mindset that I'm gonna get it done. It's the person
- 3:31Speaker 5: who changes the complexion of things. I'm gonna get it done.
- 3:36Speaker 5: It's very different than I'm gonna try.
- 3:39Speaker 6: You know.
- 3:39Speaker 5: Look, man, I know this sounds a little harsh, but
- 3:43Speaker 5: you gotta stop feeding yourself these little old wise sayings
- 3:47Speaker 5: that ain't it was a valiant tried. Hey man, you
- 3:51Speaker 5: talk to anybody that took second place in the Super
- 3:55Speaker 5: Bowl and see how they feel about their valiant try.
- 3:58Speaker 2: The only way.
- 4:01Speaker 5: To gain God's real blessings is you have to try something.
- 4:08Speaker 5: Steve Backpeddling, now, listen to me close. You have to
- 4:14Speaker 5: put forth an effort to allow God to put his
- 4:20Speaker 5: finger on something to bless on your behalf. You must
- 4:26Speaker 5: start to attempt now in saying getting it done and
- 4:30Speaker 5: I'm gonna try.
- 4:32Speaker 2: That's a difference of two different faiths. To me, I'm
- 4:37Speaker 2: just talking about me.
- 4:37Speaker 5: Now. You may be different, so I can't say this
- 4:40Speaker 5: about you, but I can say this about me. If
- 4:45Speaker 5: I say I'm gonna get it done, I have a
- 4:48Speaker 5: lot of faith in it. I am going to get
- 4:53Speaker 5: it done because I just don't see failure as an option.
- 4:56Speaker 5: A lot of times now, if somebody says to me,
- 5:00Speaker 5: like the Olympic team invited me out to curl one day,
- 5:04Speaker 5: which is throw these stones on the ice. If you're
- 5:06Speaker 5: not familiar with this very simple thing.
- 5:09Speaker 2: And so I said, man, I'd like to give that
- 5:13Speaker 2: a try.
- 5:15Speaker 5: I went in full well knowing I may not come
- 5:19Speaker 5: away from this little curling lesson as a person.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Who could make the Olympic team. I just wanted to
- 5:27Speaker 2: try it because I thought it looked cool, and.
- 5:29Speaker 5: I always wanted to get it done. When I failed twice,
- 5:33Speaker 5: I threw a stone completely into the other lane, I
- 5:37Speaker 5: lost that little ice shoe. It shot out under me.
- 5:41Speaker 5: But you know what, I kept trying though. I kept
- 5:45Speaker 5: trying until I got four of them stones in that
- 5:48Speaker 5: circle right where I aim. But now had I given
- 5:52Speaker 5: up after I failed. After I threw that stone in
- 5:56Speaker 5: the other lane, after I shot my shoe down all
- 5:59Speaker 5: the way to bottom side, the little ice shoe they
- 6:01Speaker 5: give you. I never did it, but because I was trying.
- 6:07Speaker 5: Something got me together a little bit because of my effort,
- 6:10Speaker 5: and it caused me not to fall the next time,
- 6:13Speaker 5: not to throw it in the other lane, not to
- 6:15Speaker 5: shoot my shoe to the back of the wall. All
- 6:18Speaker 5: of a sudden, my trying became something. Now had I
- 6:22Speaker 5: stayed out there and it wasn't so cold, and I
- 6:25Speaker 5: went back week after week after week after week, I
- 6:29Speaker 5: promise you I could get it done. I could at
- 6:34Speaker 5: least know how to compete in a game of curling.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Might not be the best.
- 6:39Speaker 5: I might not win the championship, but I could have
- 6:42Speaker 5: got it done to the point where I could have
- 6:44Speaker 5: competed in a game of curling. So sometimes if you're
- 6:47Speaker 5: scared to say I'm gonna get it done, just go
- 6:50Speaker 5: out there and get started. You know, learn from every
- 6:54Speaker 5: attempt that you make. See, don't quit writing yourself off
- 6:58Speaker 5: as a failure every time something don't go right. And
- 7:01Speaker 5: when I fail on that ice, I could have said, man,
- 7:03Speaker 5: I can't curl, but hold up, Man, I'm watching four
- 7:06Speaker 5: other women.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Out here curl.
- 7:07Speaker 5: Four of the dudes out here curling, little kids out
- 7:10Speaker 5: here curling. Hold up, Pardner. You know, man, So I
- 7:13Speaker 5: learned when I threw that stone on the other ice,
- 7:16Speaker 5: when I failed, when when my shoe shot off, I
- 7:20Speaker 5: learned from every attempt a little bit more about it.
- 7:24Speaker 5: And then I said to myself one point in time, man,
- 7:28Speaker 5: I'm gonna get this stone in that circle. I'm gonna
- 7:31Speaker 5: get this stone in this circle. And guess what I
- 7:35Speaker 5: got it done. Now what you're saying to me, Steve,
- 7:39Speaker 5: I'm saying to you that you gotta get started. That
- 7:42Speaker 5: you got to put forth an effort. Give God something
- 7:45Speaker 5: to bless Oh God, bless me, Oh God, bless me.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Bless you?
- 7:48Speaker 6: What?
- 7:50Speaker 2: Bless you?
- 7:50Speaker 1: Where?
- 7:51Speaker 2: Bless you?
- 7:51Speaker 6: How?
- 7:53Speaker 5: Stop basing your results on what you're thinking. You gotta
- 7:56Speaker 5: think higher. You get God in your life. Man, He
- 7:59Speaker 5: allows you to think, KaiA, bigger, better more. I'm sitting
- 8:04Speaker 5: up in my debt. I came up with a plan
- 8:06Speaker 5: to get out of debt in five years. I came
- 8:08Speaker 5: up with this plan right, I was sitting up and
- 8:10Speaker 5: I was tripping on it. Now, I said, wait a minute, man,
- 8:13Speaker 5: hold on, this is what I came up with. I said,
- 8:17Speaker 5: God created heaven and earth, all of it, the mountains,
- 8:23Speaker 5: the sky, the valleys, the oceans, trees, the birds, the
- 8:29Speaker 5: Indian Ocean, all of it, made all of it in
- 8:32Speaker 5: six days, and then he rested on the seven. So
- 8:38Speaker 5: why am I taking to God the five year plan?
- 8:43Speaker 5: If he can create heaven and earth in six days,
- 8:47Speaker 5: why am I walking in there talking about help me
- 8:50Speaker 5: in five years? How is it gonna take God five
- 8:54Speaker 5: years to getting me out of debt?
- 8:57Speaker 2: And he made heaven and Earth in six days? A math? Hell, Man,
- 9:01Speaker 2: I ain't that big. You ain't that big. You ain't
- 9:05Speaker 2: in that much trouble. I ain't in that much trouble.
- 9:08Speaker 5: See, God got a way of showing you some things, man,
- 9:11Speaker 5: but it's gonna take some faith, and faith gonna take
- 9:14Speaker 5: some effort on your part. Man, get out and do something. Man,
- 9:17Speaker 5: you God will bless you a little bit and he
- 9:20Speaker 5: give you a little bit more courage. And then all
- 9:22Speaker 5: them attempts you making is gonna and all this so
- 9:24Speaker 5: I'll try. You know what that turned into. I'm gonna
- 9:27Speaker 5: get it done. And at the end of the day,
- 9:29Speaker 5: that's what you have to do, because trying to pay
- 9:32Speaker 5: your rent and not paying your rent is two different things.
- 9:35Speaker 5: You could you can try to play your pay your rent,
- 9:38Speaker 5: or you can get it done. Now, how long you
- 9:40Speaker 5: think you gonna stay in that house trying? You got
- 9:43Speaker 5: to go with the mindset of getting it done. And
- 9:45Speaker 5: if you can put some stuff out there and give
- 9:47Speaker 5: God a chance to put his finger on and bless
- 9:49Speaker 5: it for you the most stuff he can do for you,
- 9:51Speaker 5: quit looking around at what everybody.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Else got and gonna get some of it for yourself.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Okay, all right, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen again.
- 10:07Speaker 5: Today we have been provided blessed with grace, favorite with
- 10:13Speaker 5: a new opportunity. Today you have an opportunity to make
- 10:19Speaker 5: a set of brand new choices. Today you can decide
- 10:25Speaker 5: to be grateful. You can decide to do the right
- 10:29Speaker 5: thing or the wrong. Today. You get to pick if
- 10:34Speaker 5: you are going to improve yourself or if you are
- 10:38Speaker 5: going to remain the same. You can choose today to
- 10:42Speaker 5: be proactive or stagnant. You get to make the choice.
- 10:48Speaker 5: But do you understand how valuable of an opportunity you've
- 10:51Speaker 5: been given to do? Either one of those, I choose
- 10:55Speaker 5: the positive and the one that's more with thinking. That's
- 11:01Speaker 5: how I choose to live my life. I'm gonna make
- 11:04Speaker 5: those choices today. I'm gonna ask God to help order
- 11:07Speaker 5: my steps so I don't stumble, and if I do stumble,
- 11:11Speaker 5: hold me. But also I'm just gonna concern myself with today,
- 11:17Speaker 5: taking tomorrow off the plate, because there is nothing you
- 11:23Speaker 5: can do today about tomorrow. Nothing you could wake up
- 11:28Speaker 5: tomorrow and it go completely different from everything you've planned.
- 11:33Speaker 5: So give us this day our daily bread. That's a
- 11:37Speaker 5: very important line in that prayer. Steve har Marty Show,
- 11:40Speaker 5: Chlon Strawberry Collin for rerel Mississippi, Monica Jr.
- 11:43Speaker 2: And the legend that is nephew Tommy Junior. What's going
- 11:48Speaker 2: on with you?
- 11:49Speaker 7: Yeah, let me ask you a question. Do you remember
- 11:52Speaker 7: where you were when you decided to stop running from God?
- 11:54Speaker 7: Do you remember how you how that went?
- 11:57Speaker 6: Well?
- 11:57Speaker 5: I've had a couple of those because I read more
- 12:00Speaker 5: than once. The first time I was sixteen seventeen. I
- 12:06Speaker 5: got saved when I was about sixteen seventeen. Then I
- 12:10Speaker 5: went to college. It was in a foot race the
- 12:13Speaker 5: other way, a track meet to Hell. I ran lead
- 12:19Speaker 5: off and anchor.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, they handed to stick to myself.
- 12:31Speaker 5: That second leg I got when I got it from
- 12:33Speaker 5: myself from the lead off that second leg.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Who if they had.
- 12:38Speaker 5: If they had video cameras back then, you just saw
- 12:41Speaker 5: something world record. Then I got married and I tried
- 12:49Speaker 5: to straighten up a little bit, and so I slowed down.
- 12:53Speaker 5: So I gave up relay racing and just turned into
- 12:56Speaker 5: a cross country runner.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Oh long long, yeah, long distance. I'll try to do
- 13:02Speaker 2: it like that.
- 13:04Speaker 5: And that didn't work out for me too well either,
- 13:08Speaker 5: and then I lost everything and became homeless and bought
- 13:13Speaker 5: the relay team back out of retirement.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Retirement.
- 13:17Speaker 5: Oh, I was doing pretty good. And then I got remarried,
- 13:21Speaker 5: and then I fell off the wagon. Right then I
- 13:24Speaker 5: became a full blown, recovering alcoholic. At that point, I
- 13:28Speaker 5: didn't know what was going on. I ain't even dreamed.
- 13:30Speaker 5: That's what made that That second man was.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Just coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour, Junior.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Yeah, well here.
- 13:42Speaker 1: As he runs that prank back right after this. You're listening.

- 18:03Speaker 11: And bring you no papers, because that doesn't sound like emergency.
- 18:06Speaker 11: That sounds like some personal And furthermore, you're in the
- 18:09Speaker 11: bathroom just jump shot your cool getting a shot on white.
- 18:13Speaker 4: I'm not fein the dog. That's like I said, I'm

- 18:43Speaker 11: Your legs, n h. How you gonna get up and
- 18:45Speaker 11: open the door.
- 18:47Speaker 4: The back door is open. All you gotta do is
- 18:48Speaker 4: come in here and reaching him and pass me roll
- 18:51Speaker 4: of paper. Man, That's all I'm asking you to do,
- 18:53Speaker 4: mister Charlotte.

- 19:26Speaker 11: I don't want to hear no, by no doubt, and
- 19:28Speaker 11: I ain't coming down there to bring you no paper.
- 19:31Speaker 4: Man. Hello, Charlie, you're gonna bring this paper man?

- 21:13Speaker 4: baddest radio show in the land, The Steve Harvey Show.
- 21:16Speaker 11: Y'all playing practical joke sold folks many.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Let me back and I thank you.
- 21:28Speaker 8: Coming up next it is as the CELO or Chief
- 21:31Speaker 8: Love Officer, Steve Harvey back in the building.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Do you think astronauts fight over elbow room?
- 21:45Speaker 5: Probably because advanced tech doesn't always mean more space until
- 21:50Speaker 5: now introduce it the Hondai Ionic nine, a three row
- 21:54Speaker 5: electric suv with over three hundred miles of rage, ultra
- 21:58Speaker 5: fast charging capability, and lots of space.
- 22:01Speaker 10: The all new Hondai Ionic nine face in an EV.
- 22:04Speaker 10: Visit HONDAIUSA dot com for more details. EPA estimated rings
- 22:08Speaker 10: for owning nine based on fully choice batteries for comparison
- 22:10Speaker 10: purpose only. Actual rings will vary based on several factors.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour.
- 22:15Speaker 8: In trending National news, President Trump warns that la military
- 22:19Speaker 8: deployment could be first of many and in entertainment news.
- 22:24Speaker 8: R Kelly's attorney asks President Trump to free him from prison,
- 22:28Speaker 8: and sly Stone's.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Cause of death has been revealed.
- 22:31Speaker 8: We'll talk about all of these stories at the top
- 22:33Speaker 8: of the hour, but right now it is time to
- 22:36Speaker 8: ask the colo.
- 22:39Speaker 1: This is from Quinn and Minneapolis.
- 22:43Speaker 8: Quinn writes, my husband takes my cell phone at times
- 22:46Speaker 8: if he's out, running out to get coffee or anywhere quick.
- 22:50Speaker 8: I have nothing to hide, but it's annoying that he
- 22:53Speaker 8: grabs my phone. That's over sharing and he needs to
- 22:56Speaker 8: take his own phone. Am I overreacting on it?
- 23:00Speaker 5: I don't think you are. I don't think you are.
- 23:04Speaker 5: I don't understand why. Well, I'm taking your phone. You
- 23:08Speaker 5: ain't got none of my contacts in there. I don't
- 23:12Speaker 5: want to talk to none of your friends.
- 23:16Speaker 2: I just don't. I don't know. I don't know what
- 23:19Speaker 2: that is. I don't know.
- 23:21Speaker 5: You know it called itself taking the phone. You ain't
- 23:23Speaker 5: talking nobody while I'm gone. It could be that insecurity
- 23:28Speaker 5: you could be checking your phones whatever. But no, you're
- 23:32Speaker 5: not overreacting. It's your phone to take your phone. Yeah,
- 23:37Speaker 5: even if you're married, you don't belong to somebody just well,
- 23:40Speaker 5: I can't say that. Let me put to you this way,
- 23:43Speaker 5: just because you're married, you still have to have some
- 23:45Speaker 5: things that are yours. You can't give up your individuality completely, right,
- 23:52Speaker 5: you know, a woman and a man. You deserve your
- 23:55Speaker 5: own phone, your own bank account. Every married person should
- 23:59Speaker 5: have their own own bank account. You got to have
- 24:01Speaker 5: something of yours that you can control. You can't just
- 24:04Speaker 5: give yourself over to somebody else to let them do
- 24:06Speaker 5: what they want to do.
- 24:07Speaker 2: No, who do that?
- 24:08Speaker 1: That ain't fun at all?
- 24:11Speaker 2: All right?
- 24:12Speaker 1: Thank you, Philo? What's wrong?
- 24:13Speaker 2: Nobody sent me into sumright? The left the house with
- 24:17Speaker 2: the phone. What that couldn't happen to you if you
- 24:24Speaker 2: had got to run that car off the road. All right?
- 24:31Speaker 1: Moving on to Brittany and Norcross.
- 24:33Speaker 8: Brittany writes, my dad was not in my life until
- 24:37Speaker 8: I got married and had a child.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Now he's the best grandfather ever.
- 24:41Speaker 8: He was even there for my son's birth, and I
- 24:44Speaker 8: got jealous and resentful because of that.
- 24:46Speaker 1: I'm almost thirty. So should I tell my dad or
- 24:50Speaker 1: let go of the past.
- 24:51Speaker 5: Well, I'm not a psychologist or psychiatrist, but let me
- 24:55Speaker 5: just say this.
- 24:56Speaker 2: You can ruin your future dwelling on your past. You
- 25:01Speaker 2: can do that. I know a lot of people who
- 25:04Speaker 2: have done it.
- 25:05Speaker 11: Now.
- 25:05Speaker 5: I know you might have some daddy issues because you
- 25:08Speaker 5: didn't have a father. That's very very reasonable, that's very
- 25:12Speaker 5: doable in you, and you might have to discuss that
- 25:15Speaker 5: with him. But he's grown into a new person. People
- 25:20Speaker 5: have a right to change. You're in his life now.
- 25:24Speaker 5: He's a great grandfather.
- 25:25Speaker 2: You know what I mean.
- 25:26Speaker 5: He said, Man, I messed up on trying to get
- 25:28Speaker 5: it right. I don't think you're looking at that part.
- 25:30Speaker 5: You're only looking at the part of what he didn't
- 25:32Speaker 5: do for you. You're not looking at what he's doing
- 25:35Speaker 5: for you now and what he's providing for the grandchild.
- 25:38Speaker 2: So you can go.
- 25:39Speaker 5: I mean, you might as well have a talk with
- 25:40Speaker 5: him and just say, hey, look I felt resentful forgive me,
- 25:45Speaker 5: I've been thinking these ways. I'm sorry. I was upset
- 25:49Speaker 5: with you because you weren't there for me. Now you're
- 25:51Speaker 5: there all the time, and now I don't know why
- 25:54Speaker 5: you mad because he there now though. But people have
- 25:57Speaker 5: to deal with issues they way. You might have to
- 25:58Speaker 5: bring it up and say something to him about it,
- 26:02Speaker 5: or get counseling, which I don't you know. I'm not
- 26:05Speaker 5: a counsel type person, but a lot of people are.
- 26:09Speaker 5: So you might have to get therapy to talk to
- 26:11Speaker 5: the issues about it because him not being there has
- 26:13Speaker 5: created something for sure.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Absolutely. Yeah, okay, all right, Celo, thank you for that one.
- 26:19Speaker 8: Asia in Baltimore says, my boyfriend will take my car
- 26:23Speaker 8: to the car wash, but he will not get the
- 26:25Speaker 8: inside cleaned and vacuumed.
- 26:27Speaker 1: I get tired.
- 26:28Speaker 8: I got tired of it, so I hired the young
- 26:30Speaker 8: man across the street to vacuum and wash my windows
- 26:32Speaker 8: to get back at him.
- 26:33Speaker 6: It worked.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Am I petty for doing it?
- 26:37Speaker 2: Yeah? You said, to get back at him and it worked? Yeah, yeah,
- 26:41Speaker 2: am I petty? Yeah? Yeah you petty? The next question,
- 26:44Speaker 2: all right, the last one, and you know you petty?
- 26:48Speaker 1: You said, yeah, yeah yeah. Eric and Dothan writes that
- 26:55Speaker 1: my wife talks in her sleep.
- 26:56Speaker 5: Jothan, Alabama, two thirty one, Baby day in Express, go ahead.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Share my wife.
- 27:04Speaker 5: With lounge Parrot Parrot lounge to be outside of holiday
- 27:09Speaker 5: in Express. On two thirty one.
- 27:11Speaker 8: At Doping okay uh, anyway, Eric writes that my wife
- 27:16Speaker 8: talks in her sleep, and last night she said, hey, Steve,
- 27:20Speaker 8: I assumed it was Steve Harvey because we watched Family
- 27:23Speaker 8: Feud before bed. Survey says, my wife is dreaming about you, Steve.
- 27:28Speaker 8: Is it normal to dream or fantasize about a phil.
- 27:33Speaker 5: Absolutely not, absolutely not, absolutely not. And she didn't say
- 27:39Speaker 5: Steve Harvey, So you know, it could be Steve Wilco.
- 27:44Speaker 5: He got a show, used to be Jerry Spranger's bodyguard.
- 27:48Speaker 1: You yeah, before bed?
- 27:55Speaker 2: Yeah, it could be here, Yeah, it's you. It could be.
- 28:00Speaker 2: There's a lot of Steve's. I know, you could just
- 28:02Speaker 2: be one of them.
- 28:02Speaker 5: You could be dreaming about Steve Stout and then that'll
- 28:06Speaker 5: be a problem because he ain't that family, but he
- 28:08Speaker 5: lived in New York.
- 28:09Speaker 2: And then you know it's either you or Stephen Smith.
- 28:13Speaker 2: It's one of the two. But would oh, there you go,
- 28:17Speaker 2: oh Stephen a right here? She would say, though, no,
- 28:23Speaker 2: she wouldn't. There's Steve. They don't they cool?
- 28:26Speaker 6: You know?
- 28:26Speaker 12: So I don't.
- 28:27Speaker 2: I'm not in her dreams.
- 28:28Speaker 13: Dog, No.
- 28:31Speaker 1: I ain't.
- 28:31Speaker 2: I ain't finna be that, No, no, sir.
- 28:37Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 28:41Speaker 2: All the people shout out to Monica Barnes, who was
- 28:45Speaker 2: at the.
- 28:47Speaker 5: Golf tournament and uh who has been on some type
- 28:51Speaker 5: of program and look absolutely amazing. Yesterday shout out to
- 28:56Speaker 5: Monica Bard straight out of Mississippi on some type of
- 28:59Speaker 5: program them and they was on hall at the golf
- 29:02Speaker 5: Turn to yesterday.
- 29:05Speaker 6: The hall.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Yeah, she was out there. She was out there winning
- 29:09Speaker 2: Shirley in college.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Get your dub girl, win win.
- 29:15Speaker 2: She looks great.
- 29:16Speaker 1: And that's all her own hair, thank you, Yes, beauty, Paul.
- 29:20Speaker 2: And I told them that too. I said, she's single
- 29:24Speaker 2: and that's her hair.
- 29:26Speaker 3: That's all.
- 29:26Speaker 2: That's her hair.
- 29:28Speaker 1: If she bought it is her hair.
- 29:31Speaker 5: No, No, she ain't bought that though. That ain't come
- 29:34Speaker 5: out the bag, that comes straight out the roots.
- 29:40Speaker 8: Sorry, So so you're you're convinced that it wasn't you.
- 29:44Speaker 8: She was dreaming about we're all in disagreement.
- 29:47Speaker 2: That's way too many steeves.
- 29:50Speaker 8: Yeah, but they watched Family Feud right before bed. Okay,
- 29:53Speaker 8: so it stands to reason that.
- 29:57Speaker 2: They don't stand what you stand to reason me that.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Is you because they watched the show.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Stand to.
- 30:09Speaker 1: It's you could have been on the show.
- 30:12Speaker 6: She was.
- 30:13Speaker 2: She was on her phone. She was on her phone.
- 30:16Speaker 2: She could have been talking about Steve.
- 30:17Speaker 8: Jobs, everybody in Family, Seeds and Taste. Yeah, coming up,
- 30:26Speaker 8: at the top of the hour. We'll have some entertainment
- 30:28Speaker 8: news for you right after this taste.
- 30:32Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:39Speaker 8: In trending national news, according to CNN and ABC News,
- 30:43Speaker 8: protests and folding nationwide against President Donald Trump's immigration agenda
- 30:48Speaker 8: come as ice immigration and customs enforcement races. Uh, they're
- 30:52Speaker 8: racing to meet White House arrest quotas. La Mayor Karen
- 30:56Speaker 8: Vass has announced an eight pm curfew due to the
- 30:59Speaker 8: protests and lou President Trump and his administration officials said
- 31:03Speaker 8: the use of the military in response to protests against
- 31:06Speaker 8: his immigration crackdown may not be limited to just Los Angeles,
- 31:10Speaker 8: saying it could be the first of quote many, and
- 31:13Speaker 8: that protesters could be met with equal or greater force.
- 31:17Speaker 1: In addition, the.
- 31:18Speaker 8: President said that protesters who assembled during the Army's two
- 31:21Speaker 8: hundred and fiftieth Birthday military parade in Washington would be
- 31:25Speaker 8: met with very big force, very big force. So he's
- 31:30Speaker 8: already threatening getting ready for that. That's happening this weekend, Yeah,
- 31:34Speaker 8: Saturday in Washington.
- 31:36Speaker 2: Yeah. So yeah, it's a lot.
- 31:38Speaker 5: Yeah, you have to avoid that at all because that's
- 31:41Speaker 5: you can't disrupt, you know, veterans and military and stuff
- 31:47Speaker 5: that I just stay away from that one, y'all because
- 31:50Speaker 5: he already said you'll be met with that. They gonna
- 31:54Speaker 5: take that personally, right, I'm okay with peaceful protests. It's
- 31:58Speaker 5: a way to express how you are. I think what
- 32:02Speaker 5: happening with this administration is they now seem to have
- 32:06Speaker 5: this quotea of the feel and now they're not filling
- 32:09Speaker 5: it with criminals and uh, drug dealers and people who
- 32:14Speaker 5: have warrants. They just feeling it. They're just breaking up
- 32:18Speaker 5: families and stuff now. And that's kind of kind of
- 32:22Speaker 5: what the problem is that they're having. I mean, when
- 32:25Speaker 5: you go to a school and take a child out
- 32:27Speaker 5: of school. They arrested this one girl and it was heartbreaking.
- 32:31Speaker 5: She said, I have finals. Can I go back to school?
- 32:34Speaker 5: I have my finals. It's sent it to a center
- 32:39Speaker 5: and everything that's not right, it's not right with it.
- 32:46Speaker 1: He didn't call the military and handle all this.
- 32:52Speaker 2: Yeah, he's all of them, he's his partner.
- 32:59Speaker 1: There, right exactly. So Yeah, very hypocritical.
- 33:03Speaker 5: Yeah, And January sixth, it was one of the craziest
- 33:09Speaker 5: things I've ever seen perpetrated in this country. Yes, of
- 33:14Speaker 5: late against the government and all that window breaking and
- 33:18Speaker 5: wall climbing, brall daylight, nothing any pardoning these people, Yeah.
- 33:22Speaker 2: Right, had them been black people.
- 33:25Speaker 1: Please, Lord Jesus Mercy or brown people, yeah, you know.
- 33:30Speaker 2: How many people would have got shot off that wall man?
- 33:33Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 33:34Speaker 1: Yeah, big four as he says, very big force.
- 33:38Speaker 14: Yeah yeah, all right, moving on, he needs a vocabulary,
- 33:42Speaker 14: I know that he got. We're gonna switch gears here.
- 33:50Speaker 8: Steve and Entertainment News, a leader of an Arian Brotherhood
- 33:54Speaker 8: prison gang, claimed that federal authorities offered him freedom to
- 33:58Speaker 8: spend his last days outside of prison and if he
- 34:00Speaker 8: killed r Kelly, he allegedly told the authorities he was
- 34:04Speaker 8: willing to Yeah, he allegedly told the authorities he was
- 34:07Speaker 8: willing to commit the murder, but instead told r Kelly
- 34:10Speaker 8: about the plot and warmed him about the danger to
- 34:13Speaker 8: his life. R Kelly's attorney said, quote R Kelly's life
- 34:16Speaker 8: is now threatened because of his willingness to fight and
- 34:19Speaker 8: to expose a very kind of corruption that President Trump
- 34:22Speaker 8: has been fighting and standing up to since the day
- 34:25Speaker 8: he took that office. We will ask the President for
- 34:28Speaker 8: help end quote. R Kelly is currently, of course, incarcerated
- 34:32Speaker 8: due to a thirty year sentence in New York City
- 34:34Speaker 8: after he was found guilty of nine counts of racketeering
- 34:37Speaker 8: and sex trafficking back in twenty twenty two, and he
- 34:40Speaker 8: faces up to twenty years from being found guilty to
- 34:43Speaker 8: criminal sexual charges in Chicago.
- 34:46Speaker 1: So they're appealing now to President Trump to release r.
- 34:51Speaker 2: Kelly.
- 34:51Speaker 15: Basically, Oh no, he's not getting up of that.
- 34:57Speaker 2: Care who told you.
- 35:01Speaker 1: This is horrible?
- 35:02Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 35:03Speaker 5: I don't put nothing. I don't put nothing past this
- 35:07Speaker 5: administration nothing.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Oh so yeah, yeah, you never know what you're saying, Steve.
- 35:15Speaker 2: All of this is on the table. And you know what, man,
- 35:19Speaker 2: we could we can be angry if we want to.
- 35:21Speaker 5: But I tell people all the time, slow it down
- 35:24Speaker 5: for yourself, man, stop stretching yourself out. Do you know
- 35:27Speaker 5: we as Americans, we're not allowed to vote on foreign policy?
- 35:30Speaker 5: What's happening in Israel, what's happening with Ukraine?
- 35:35Speaker 2: How we gonna have? We don't get to vote on
- 35:37Speaker 2: foreign policy.
- 35:39Speaker 12: All all that?
- 35:40Speaker 5: And this is what he's doing with Ice. That's a
- 35:42Speaker 5: foreign policy he's creating. Yeah, he's putting that on the
- 35:45Speaker 5: foreign policy. He just we don't get to vote in that.
- 35:48Speaker 5: So y'all can relax you know, and I know it's
- 35:52Speaker 5: people say it's easy for you to say relaxed, Eve.
- 35:54Speaker 5: Now what I mean by that is take that off
- 35:57Speaker 5: your plate of worry. Yep, because this guy is doing
- 36:03Speaker 5: what he wants to do, and he has the entire
- 36:07Speaker 5: Republican Party by the throat and under his knee, and
- 36:14Speaker 5: he and they are intimidated by him, and they can
- 36:17Speaker 5: and you know a few of them came, oh, we're
- 36:19Speaker 5: not going to pass this great bill. Now I have
- 36:22Speaker 5: some problems with it.
- 36:24Speaker 2: It passed.
- 36:26Speaker 5: They all say this is not good. If I could
- 36:28Speaker 5: it passed. Vibe, we're gonna do it. He gonna do

- 40:54Speaker 1: Coming up?
- 40:55Speaker 2: Did you say about eighty three?
- 40:57Speaker 15: Back in nineteen eighty three, that's when Kimberlyn was cheered of,
- 41:00Speaker 15: Oh yeah, I'm.
- 41:04Speaker 8: All right, guys, thank you so much. Coming up at
- 41:08Speaker 8: thirty four minutes after the hour, here's a question. Should
- 41:10Speaker 8: a daughter spend Father's Day with her husband or her father?
- 41:14Speaker 8: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening Steve
- 41:18Speaker 8: Harvey Morning Show. Here's a question that we saw online.
- 41:25Speaker 8: Should a daughter spend Father's Day with her husband or
- 41:29Speaker 8: her father? That is a question, and older dad wrote
- 41:32Speaker 8: in and said, it's been a long time since I've
- 41:34Speaker 8: seen my daughter on Father's Day. Her husband says she
- 41:37Speaker 8: needs to spend Father's Day with him, the father of
- 41:40Speaker 8: her children. My daughter told her husband you are not
- 41:43Speaker 8: my daddy? Why is my son in law Tripp? Then okay,
- 41:48Speaker 8: all right, we've had this situation on Mother's Day. Yeah,
- 41:53Speaker 8: so what you say your thoughts, Steve Tommy Junior.
- 41:59Speaker 2: Don't say.
- 41:59Speaker 10: You know, if you could split the day, it would
- 42:02Speaker 10: be probably ideal to please everybody. But I'm going to
- 42:07Speaker 10: my parent first. My dad, uh father'd my daddy. I
- 42:12Speaker 10: don't really have to see my kids on Father's Day.
- 42:14Speaker 2: I really don't. I see them every day.
- 42:17Speaker 1: So yeah, okay, so you wouldn't mind if your daughter
- 42:27Speaker 1: was married.
- 42:28Speaker 16: You wouldn't mind her going to be with her husband
- 42:30Speaker 16: if they had kids, versus coming to see you.
- 42:34Speaker 2: Her husband ain't her dad?
- 42:39Speaker 1: Yeah okay, okay, yeah you getting mad to.
- 42:43Speaker 2: Let me back husband ain't her dad. I'm sorry I
- 42:47Speaker 2: was still agree.
- 42:48Speaker 5: But that's the problem with the letter, because the husband,
- 42:52Speaker 5: who is the father of their children is mad at
- 42:55Speaker 5: her for wanting to go spend it with her daddy.
- 42:58Speaker 2: Put your selfish of him.
- 43:00Speaker 5: Yes, yes, it is because bruh, if you the father
- 43:04Speaker 5: didn't spend it, spend the time with your kids, you know,
- 43:08Speaker 5: if you're gonna have that argument and let her go
- 43:11Speaker 5: see her daddy. You don't knock him out of his honor,
- 43:14Speaker 5: so you can just have an honor yourself. That's that's ridiculous.
- 43:19Speaker 5: You hang with your kids and let her go see
- 43:21Speaker 5: her daddy.
- 43:22Speaker 8: But it sounds like in this situation though, someone's gonna
- 43:25Speaker 8: be mad, either the husband or the dad.
- 43:28Speaker 5: Come on, man, you got a man up on this one.
- 43:32Speaker 5: Let her go see her daddy. You don't know how
- 43:34Speaker 5: many more of them she got right with her? Can't
- 43:37Speaker 5: they just being selfish? And then considerate he is a father.
- 43:41Speaker 5: If it wasn't for this man, you don't even had
- 43:43Speaker 5: his wife. Though we'll still be found in the evenings.
- 43:46Speaker 5: He ain't gonna be gon on that long she lived
- 43:49Speaker 5: with you?
- 43:49Speaker 2: Is one day? Listen to me, Father's Day at that
- 43:52Speaker 2: bigger deal? No way, let's stop.
- 43:54Speaker 12: It is.
- 43:55Speaker 5: Yes, No, it ain't a little ragged holiday, y'all. Just
- 43:59Speaker 5: a matter of fact. I'm getting no fall canceling. Why
- 44:07Speaker 5: he didn't go?
- 44:08Speaker 2: He didn't? He didn't? Yeah, yeah, tommy, why wait?
- 44:17Speaker 6: Man?
- 44:17Speaker 1: Let me ask you.
- 44:18Speaker 16: This Father's Day is a big deal. We will celebrate
- 44:21Speaker 16: you a wonderful dad. You're wonder got on a big
- 44:24Speaker 16: deal Tommy and everything? What do you want for Father's Day?
- 44:31Speaker 6: No?
- 44:32Speaker 7: Say nothing about r I've just been doing this a
- 44:35Speaker 7: bout three years. I don't I have not seen nothing.
- 44:38Speaker 7: So I see what Steve saying.
- 44:39Speaker 15: Ain't you saying?
- 44:41Speaker 1: You don't get gifts? You don't get?
- 44:43Speaker 2: Give what I got?
- 44:47Speaker 15: Step in front of mine? What are you talking about?
- 44:49Speaker 15: Step Daddy, they fathers? I got step in here.
- 44:55Speaker 6: This is not.
- 45:03Speaker 1: But all right, okay.
- 45:06Speaker 2: You all I get is what are you expecting? I
- 45:09Speaker 2: just get the same thing I get?
- 45:11Speaker 1: What are you expecting?
- 45:12Speaker 2: What would you like?
- 45:13Speaker 1: Nothing?
- 45:14Speaker 2: I'm not gonna get nothing. You know why? We don't
- 45:17Speaker 2: know what to get you? You got everything? That's the
- 45:19Speaker 2: same whine ask you every year.
- 45:23Speaker 8: Give them some suggestions. You do have everything. Sometimes people
- 45:28Speaker 8: do struggle getting you stuff.
- 45:30Speaker 2: My oldest boy gave me a card in Spain's on
- 45:32Speaker 2: the dollar store. What kind of I can't read.
- 45:45Speaker 1: Dollar at least?
- 45:53Speaker 6: Man?
- 45:53Speaker 1: Come on, Dave, you can't get mad mad.
- 46:02Speaker 2: Merry Christmas. I don't know what the hell? Hey man,
- 46:04Speaker 2: if it wanted from my wife buying me some I
- 46:06Speaker 2: wouldn't get noney.
- 46:08Speaker 8: Okay, we gotta do better, all right, coming up next,
- 46:10Speaker 8: it is the nephew with today's prank phone call.
- 46:13Speaker 1: Right after this polease, you're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 46:17Speaker 1: Morning Show.
- 46:23Speaker 8: Coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 46:25Speaker 8: four minutes after, it's my Strawberry letter for today, and
- 46:28Speaker 8: the subject is something seems fishy here. We'll get into
- 46:32Speaker 8: that find out what that's all about in just a
- 46:34Speaker 8: few because right now the nephew is here with today's
- 46:38Speaker 8: prank phone call.
- 46:40Speaker 1: Nephew, what's on the menu.
- 46:43Speaker 10: What's on the menu, Shirley. The menu this morning is
- 46:46Speaker 10: three minute remarks. You know, we have these funerals, you know,
- 46:50Speaker 10: and we lose our loved ones. You know, people want
- 46:53Speaker 10: to get up and say something, They want to get
- 46:54Speaker 10: up in there and express themselves about how they felt
- 46:57Speaker 10: about the person that passed away, and we all say
- 47:00Speaker 10: three minutes.
- 47:01Speaker 2: And it's just I don't know, it's just for some
- 47:03Speaker 2: reason we other people don't know what three minutes are.
- 47:08Speaker 2: We either we don't know what it is or we
- 47:10Speaker 2: don't respect what it is.
- 47:11Speaker 10: So we you know this right here, this is three

- 48:28Speaker 6: Well, what I'm saying they say that you're not going
- 48:31Speaker 6: to abide by the two three minute rule that they

- 48:39Speaker 12: And uh, who is they come out? Who?

- 56:41Speaker 2: We got it for you. Here It is Strawberry Let.
- 56:44Speaker 1: Up, Thank you, nephew.
- 56:46Speaker 8: Subject something seems fishy here, Dear Stephen Shirley. I rushed
- 56:50Speaker 8: into a relationship and I thought I was in love.
- 56:53Speaker 8: My boyfriend moved in with me after we date it
- 56:56Speaker 8: for two months, and I got pregnant four months later
- 57:00Speaker 8: to get married, but I couldn't do that until I
- 57:02Speaker 8: lost my baby. Wait, I ended up having a second child,
- 57:05Speaker 8: so I kept postponing our wedding. Now that our kids
- 57:09Speaker 8: are two and four, my boyfriend doesn't mention marriage. All
- 57:12Speaker 8: he says is money is tight and he's focused on
- 57:14Speaker 8: getting his hustle, his side hustle going. He told me
- 57:18Speaker 8: that he wants to get a salon suite to do tattoos.
- 57:20Speaker 8: He hasn't done tattoos in years, but he feels like
- 57:23Speaker 8: it would bring in a lot of money. So he's
- 57:26Speaker 8: been going out every night of the week and saying
- 57:29Speaker 8: that he's going to find customers. He'll stay out all
- 57:31Speaker 8: night sometimes, and his excuse is that he does not
- 57:34Speaker 8: want to wake the children by coming in late. Their
- 57:39Speaker 8: bedroom is right by the back door. But that's a
- 57:41Speaker 8: very bad excuse. This weekend, he stayed out again and
- 57:45Speaker 8: came home at seven am Sunday morning. He went straight
- 57:47Speaker 8: to the shower. I asked him to please take his
- 57:50Speaker 8: shower at his girlfriend's house before he comes home. That
- 57:53Speaker 8: caused a big argument, and he told me to get
- 57:57Speaker 8: dressed and get the kids dressed. He took us to
- 58:00Speaker 8: the bad part of town to show me an old
- 58:02Speaker 8: gas station that he had been renovating. He said it
- 58:06Speaker 8: was going to be his tattoo shop. There was an
- 58:09Speaker 8: old sofa and a microwave in the back, and he
- 58:11Speaker 8: expected me to believe that's where he sleeps when he
- 58:14Speaker 8: stays out. This is where all of his money has
- 58:17Speaker 8: been going, and he didn't even tell me about it.
- 58:19Speaker 8: I feel like he has plans to move on without
- 58:22Speaker 8: me and the kids. He still hasn't told me why
- 58:25Speaker 8: he doesn't come home some nights. Would I be foolish
- 58:28Speaker 8: to keep dating this man after all of this? I think, yeah,
- 58:33Speaker 8: you would be foolish to keep dating him, But not
- 58:36Speaker 8: for the reason you think.
- 58:38Speaker 1: I'm saying.
- 58:38Speaker 8: It's way past time for a commitment between the two
- 58:41Speaker 8: of you. You've moved fast in the beginning. You said
- 58:44Speaker 8: you rushed into this relationship, and now two kids later,
- 58:48Speaker 8: because you didn't lose your baby weight, you didn't want
- 58:51Speaker 8: to marry him, so he stopped asking. But if you're
- 58:54Speaker 8: still living together and having sex without protection like before,
- 58:57Speaker 8: guess what, baby number three can't.
- 59:00Speaker 1: Be far behind. Huh. But I do agree with you.
- 59:03Speaker 8: A man shouldn't be spending the night out and coming
- 59:06Speaker 8: in at all times at all kinds of crazy hours
- 59:09Speaker 8: and all of that. But he did take you to
- 59:12Speaker 8: the place. He showed you what he's been up to.
- 59:15Speaker 8: He said he's been working on his future, and it
- 59:17Speaker 8: looks like that's what he's been doing. He's been renovating
- 59:20Speaker 8: his business. He told you he wanted to open a
- 59:23Speaker 8: tattoo shop. That was his side hustle, so and he
- 59:27Speaker 8: could make a lot of money with that. So I'm sorry,
- 59:29Speaker 8: but it doesn't feel to me like he's cheating.
- 59:32Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 59:33Speaker 8: He might be, but I don't think he is. You
- 59:35Speaker 8: never once mentioned that he's ever stepped out on you.
- 59:39Speaker 8: So I say to you, worry about yourself now. You
- 59:43Speaker 8: got to stop putting it off. Start your self care
- 59:46Speaker 8: routine right now, get your extra weight off, get your
- 59:49Speaker 8: self esteem back, and begin feeling better about you. This
- 59:52Speaker 8: is not about him, he says. He's doing something for
- 59:55Speaker 8: the family, and he took you and the kids to
- 59:57Speaker 8: see it.
- 59:58Speaker 5: Steve something. It seems fishy here, No, it doesn't. I
- 1:00:03Speaker 5: see exactly what's going on this letter.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: You typed it.
- 1:00:06Speaker 5: I'm gonna read it to you. You tell me if
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: you don't see what I see, I rushed into a relationship,
- 1:00:12Speaker 5: and I thought I was in love. Okay, right there,
- 1:00:15Speaker 5: rushed into a relationship, you thought you was in love,
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: So now there's doubt. My boyfriend moved in with me
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: after we dated for two months. Who rolling kind of fast.
- 1:00:28Speaker 5: I got pregnant four months later.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: That's six months.
- 1:00:32Speaker 5: He wanted us to get married, but I couldn't do
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: that until I lost my baby. Wait, okay, I ended
- 1:00:39Speaker 5: up having a second child, so I kept postponing our wedding.
- 1:00:44Speaker 5: Now the kids are two and four. My boyfriend doesn't
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: mention marriage. Now let's stop right here, because this is
- 1:00:53Speaker 5: what this whole letter is about.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: And I figured it out.
- 1:00:56Speaker 5: You said he wanted to get married after your baby,
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: but you couldn't do that because you didn't want to
- 1:01:02Speaker 5: get married until you lost your baby.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: Wait, because you gotta take pictures in everything.
- 1:01:05Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: Well, then you mess around and you had baby number
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: two and I ended up having a second child, so
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: I kept postponing I wedded.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: Yeah, you did, this is all you.
- 1:01:20Speaker 5: Now the kids are two and four, and my boyfriend
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: don't mention marriage. Well you know why he don't mention
- 1:01:27Speaker 5: marriage because you told him before you wasn't getting married
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: until you lost the baby weight from the first baby.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: Then you had baby number two.
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: Now, the reason he don't mention marriage is because you
- 1:01:40Speaker 5: ain't gonna get married because you still got.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: Some more babyweight. Now you got baby weight number one
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: and two.
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: On you, and so he hasn't mentioned marriage because you
- 1:01:54Speaker 5: said you're not gonna get married until you lose the baby. Wait,
- 1:01:59Speaker 5: so now with two children, that's why he don't ask
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: you no more. Now he says money's tight, and he's
- 1:02:07Speaker 5: focused on getting inside hustle. Going told me, you want
- 1:02:10Speaker 5: to get a salon suite to do tattoos. He hasn't
- 1:02:12Speaker 5: done tattoos in years, but it feels like it would
- 1:02:15Speaker 5: bring in a lot of money. Okay, sounds like a plan.
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: So he's been going out every night of the week
- 1:02:22Speaker 5: and saying that he's going to find customers. That's when
- 1:02:28Speaker 5: a lot of people get tattoos after the club clothes
- 1:02:30Speaker 5: because they drunk.
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: Okay, so he that was his plan.
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: He'll stay out all night sometime and his excuse is
- 1:02:40Speaker 5: that he don't want to wake the children by coming
- 1:02:43Speaker 5: here late. God damn, you can say that. Hey, I
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: ain't never used that one. I love the d I
- 1:02:54Speaker 5: ain't never used that one. I ain't never used That's a.
- 1:02:57Speaker 8: Good well, But we'll have part two of Steve's response
- 1:03:00Speaker 8: coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's
- 1:03:03Speaker 8: Strawberry Letters subject something seems fishy here. We'll get back
- 1:03:07Speaker 8: into it right after that. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:16Speaker 13: Kinsley will be six in September. We are at Saint
- 1:03:20Speaker 13: Jude because she was diagnosed with leukemia. Her treatment is
- 1:03:23Speaker 13: receiving a chemotherapy and it is a two and a
- 1:03:27Speaker 13: half to three year process. Fact that Saint jud does
- 1:03:30Speaker 13: not send a bill has been a god seeing childhood
- 1:03:33Speaker 13: cancer needs to be eradicated.
- 1:03:36Speaker 7: You can help kids fight childhood cancer and diseases like
- 1:03:39Speaker 7: SIPL seal. Please become a Saint Jude Partner in Hope
- 1:03:41Speaker 7: today by texting SHMS to seven eight five eighty three three.
- 1:03:46Speaker 8: All right, come on, Steve, Let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:49Speaker 8: The subject is something seems fishy here.
- 1:03:53Speaker 5: Well, this couple met and they rushed into a relationship,
- 1:03:56Speaker 5: according to the lady who wrote the letter, and she
- 1:03:59Speaker 5: thought she was in love, so they moved in with
- 1:04:02Speaker 5: each other. After they dated for two months, and then
- 1:04:05Speaker 5: he wanted us to get married, but I couldn't do
- 1:04:07Speaker 5: that until I lost my baby weight. But then mess
- 1:04:10Speaker 5: around and had another baby. So and now she kept
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: postponing the wedding cause of the baby weight. Now the
- 1:04:17Speaker 5: boyfriend don't mention marriage no more. You know why he
- 1:04:20Speaker 5: don't mention it cause of the baby weight. You know
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: you ain't gonna get married no way. Now you got
- 1:04:25Speaker 5: double baby weight on you. You got baby one and
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: baby two. Now that's a real issue because when women
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: gave them children, they gain weight. That's real, and then
- 1:04:34Speaker 5: they got the hormone in balance.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: It is real. What they go through is real.
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: Okay, So now, yeah, but he telling you that the
- 1:04:43Speaker 5: money tight, he trying to get a side hustle going.
- 1:04:47Speaker 5: He won't open up a salon to do tattoos. But
- 1:04:50Speaker 5: you say, he ain't done tattoos in years. So he's
- 1:04:53Speaker 5: been going out every night of the week saying he's
- 1:04:56Speaker 5: going to find customers.
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: He'll stay out of all all night sometime. And it's
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: excuse he is.
- 1:05:03Speaker 5: He don't want to wake the children by coming here
- 1:05:05Speaker 5: late because their bathroom, their bedroom is right by the
- 1:05:07Speaker 5: back door. That's a very bad You know you can
- 1:05:10Speaker 5: open that door quiet. Kids don't wait coming. Kids sleep
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: hard as hell. Especially they feel safe. They ain't even
- 1:05:19Speaker 5: their problem. Who at the back door? Their mom and
- 1:05:21Speaker 5: daddy problem. I would I can't go and answer the door,
- 1:05:25Speaker 5: not way, So I got to lay here. I was
- 1:05:30Speaker 5: told you don't gonna answer that door. I got the
- 1:05:36Speaker 5: beating my life opening the door. One time on a
- 1:05:38Speaker 5: Saturday morning, open the door for the Jehovah witnesses. I
- 1:05:41Speaker 5: opened and let them in here, let them all the
- 1:05:45Speaker 5: way in that house. They was in the living little God,
- 1:05:53Speaker 5: watch your house. Yeah, I was just thinking about that time.
- 1:05:56Speaker 5: Open that door, man. They got all the way up.
- 1:05:58Speaker 5: I invited them me in as they want some water
- 1:06:01Speaker 5: and everything. Boy, my mama came around the corner. My
- 1:06:06Speaker 5: mom came around that corner boar, so they watchedowers standing there.
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: Got her.
- 1:06:13Speaker 5: Back to the letter anyway, So I couldn't have answered
- 1:06:18Speaker 5: that don't nobody anyway.
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: This weekend he stayed out again.
- 1:06:22Speaker 5: He came in at seven am on Sunday morning and
- 1:06:25Speaker 5: went straight to the shower. I asked him, please take
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: this shot his girlfriend's house before he come home. Oh
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: that started a big argument. He told me get dressed,
- 1:06:36Speaker 5: get the kids dressed.
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: He took us to the.
- 1:06:38Speaker 5: Bad part of town to show me an old gas
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: station that he had been renovating.
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: He said it was going to be his tattoo shot.
- 1:06:45Speaker 5: That was an old sofa and microwave in the back,
- 1:06:48Speaker 5: and he expected me to believe that that's where he
- 1:06:50Speaker 5: sleeps when he stays out.
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: My man, come through? Boy?
- 1:06:54Speaker 8: What e was?
- 1:06:55Speaker 5: That's some good thinking right there. And they had a
- 1:07:00Speaker 5: microwave and a couch.
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: WHOA, that was a good boy. But no pillow and
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: no blanket.
- 1:07:10Speaker 5: Hard to sleep without a blanket, It really is, man,
- 1:07:15Speaker 5: something abouty blanket that makes sleep.
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: Better, even in the summer time.
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: Anyway, that and this is where all his money has
- 1:07:26Speaker 5: been going, and he didn't even tell me about it.
- 1:07:29Speaker 5: I feel like he has plans to move on without
- 1:07:31Speaker 5: me and the kids. He still hasn't told me why
- 1:07:35Speaker 5: he doesn't come home some nights. Should I be foolish
- 1:07:38Speaker 5: to keep dating this man after all of this? Well,
- 1:07:44Speaker 5: first of all, let me clarify a couple of things
- 1:07:46Speaker 5: for y'all. Ain't dating. Y'all live together. Y'all don't just
- 1:07:53Speaker 5: live together, y'all are family. So all this would I
- 1:07:59Speaker 5: be foolish to keep dating this man. Dating is man.
- 1:08:01Speaker 5: He the father your children? What you're talking about? Do
- 1:08:06Speaker 5: you know how far up the roads y'all are right now,
- 1:08:10Speaker 5: and you're gonna break it back down to just Dayton?
- 1:08:14Speaker 5: And he still ain't told me why he don't come
- 1:08:16Speaker 5: home some night. Wait a minute, lady, you waiting on
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: a man to walk in the house and really tell
- 1:08:25Speaker 5: you why he stay out at night? You know why
- 1:08:29Speaker 5: he stay out at night cause that because ain't no consequences.
- 1:08:35Speaker 5: There's none, because he's done it more than once and
- 1:08:40Speaker 5: there are no consequences. See, I can't stay out all
- 1:08:45Speaker 5: night because I already know when I come in there's
- 1:08:47Speaker 5: gonna be some consequence. Well, I'm gonna know that loan
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: before that because that phone, that phone gonna be off
- 1:08:58Speaker 5: the hook. If I was up to sum I wouldn't
- 1:09:02Speaker 5: beaby enjoy myself. My phone be on constant rain.
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: As we lay nice Shirley Murdock. As we lay we
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: forgot about the price we had to pay.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: Oh the Gospel version.

- 1:10:56Speaker 2: Man, look at this. We got us a series.
- 1:10:58Speaker 15: This is getting interested. Indiana beats Homer City.
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: Oh you like it now?
- 1:11:04Speaker 7: Oh yeah, I like it now? Now it's one sixteen,
- 1:11:06Speaker 7: one oh seven Indiana. Indiana takes a two to one
- 1:11:09Speaker 7: lead in this series. That's why I like it now,
- 1:11:12Speaker 7: Tim and the underdogs is winning. The underdogs is winning.
- 1:11:15Speaker 7: They don't care if you got the MVP on they
- 1:11:17Speaker 7: team or not.
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: I am pulling for ok See.
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: Oh real, okay, yeah, you.
- 1:11:22Speaker 15: Pulling in the wrong direction. They lost last night.
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: I understand, I understand, but I don't leave you when
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: you lose. I'm holding tight. Not a fairweather fans, No,
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: I'm not Fairwell, we're gonna be all right.
- 1:11:33Speaker 7: Well if if Oklahoma City take the lead, I would
- 1:11:35Speaker 7: be rooting for them because this ain't my team, right,
- 1:11:37Speaker 7: neither one.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: That's what I'm talking about.
- 1:11:39Speaker 7: Yeah, neither wanted my team. I just I just go
- 1:11:41Speaker 7: on for who win. That way, I'll be right hard
- 1:11:44Speaker 7: being on team and losing. Yeah, that's all I'm doing.
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: Caller.
- 1:11:47Speaker 7: Whoever's winning as who I'm going with. And today is Indiana.
- 1:11:50Speaker 7: The Indiana looking great?
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: They did?
- 1:11:53Speaker 6: You know?
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: Uh?
- 1:11:54Speaker 7: Halliburton finished with twenty two points and nine rebounds and
- 1:11:57Speaker 7: eleven assists, almost a triple double.
- 1:11:59Speaker 15: That's what you want at your point guard.
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: That was really good.
- 1:12:01Speaker 6: Uh.
- 1:12:02Speaker 15: Shay Gilder Alexander Sga he had twenty four.
- 1:12:04Speaker 7: Jalen Williams for Okay, se had twenty six, but the

- 1:12:10Speaker 7: ain't never heard of him, Benedict mcthurn. He came off
- 1:12:13Speaker 7: the bench and put down twenty seven. His her name
- 1:12:16Speaker 7: is Benedict, Benedict. I don't know how old his parents is,

- 1:12:30Speaker 2: He could change his name.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: Maybe his names after his grandfather.
- 1:12:37Speaker 7: And I'm sure if his granddaddy was here, he would
- 1:12:39Speaker 7: say that danger's boy. They got computers. Now, the name Benedict.
- 1:12:46Speaker 7: They got computers out here.
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: Now what are we doing?
- 1:12:49Speaker 7: So, you know, Friday night we're gonna have Game four.
- 1:12:52Speaker 7: But I'm telling you right now, Indiana played a really

- 1:12:56Speaker 7: off slow. They came out and they completely and that's
- 1:12:59Speaker 7: how they got and so we're proud of them. So
- 1:13:01Speaker 7: I just want to say thank you Indiana for making
- 1:13:04Speaker 7: me look good because I've been riding with y'all since
- 1:13:06Speaker 7: serious started, you know, since they won Game one at
- 1:13:08Speaker 7: the last second that I like.
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: I like Indiana with the last second.
- 1:13:13Speaker 15: Yeah yeah, the last week when Okay was winning, but
- 1:13:16Speaker 15: then when they won the game.
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: I switched right win so Walkahoma win Game four? You
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: who you with?
- 1:13:21Speaker 15: Well, dog, I'm gonna have to be a Okay see
- 1:13:23Speaker 15: a fan. That's what I'm gonna do.
- 1:13:25Speaker 7: I'm I'm gonna be a fan, I mean with Okay
- 1:13:28Speaker 7: see right, then you got to learn how to switch time.
- 1:13:30Speaker 15: You can't stay the sund pivot. You gotta know how
- 1:13:33Speaker 15: to pivot. Yeah, thank you, sir. You gotta know how
- 1:13:35Speaker 15: to pivot.
- 1:13:36Speaker 6: Man.
- 1:13:37Speaker 15: I don't sitting here crying for these teams. This ain't
- 1:13:39Speaker 15: our Saint the Rockets.
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: All right, Junior, thank you. Coming up of the hour.
- 1:13:48Speaker 8: On social media needs some advice, Steve White, move out,
- 1:13:52Speaker 8: I'm happy, she says, Okay, we'll get into it right
- 1:13:55Speaker 8: after this. Mark Jackson, you're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:14:00Speaker 8: Morning Show. All right, Steve, this is from Brianna on
- 1:14:07Speaker 8: Steve Harvey FM. Brianna says, I'm in my late twenties.
- 1:14:10Speaker 8: I have a good job, make good money, and I
- 1:14:12Speaker 8: still live at home with my parents and honestly, I
- 1:14:15Speaker 8: love it. We get along great, split responsibilities and I
- 1:14:18Speaker 8: have my own space. But some of my friends and
- 1:14:21Speaker 8: coworkers act like it's weird and even embarrassing that I
- 1:14:25Speaker 8: haven't moved out yet. I've started looking at apartments, but
- 1:14:28Speaker 8: it feels like I'm only doing it because of pressure
- 1:14:31Speaker 8: from other people, not because I actually want to leave.
- 1:14:34Speaker 8: Is it wrong to just do what makes me happy?
- 1:14:37Speaker 8: Or are societal expectations reason enough to finally get my
- 1:14:41Speaker 8: own place?
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: No state in stay in.
- 1:14:45Speaker 5: In some cultures that's very acceptable, right. The daughter stays
- 1:14:49Speaker 5: at the house until they get married. Married, right, and
- 1:14:52Speaker 5: you ain't got nobody on the hook?
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: Yeah, and she enjoyed it. You ain't even hard date. Yeah.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: Yeah, so she has her own state. Yeah, yeah, it's
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: pretty cool, wasting.
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: I couldn't stay at my mom and daddy house in
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: my twenties.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: Boy bye, because you're a man and you should be
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: out there.
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: We had our stand in twenties. Who oh, Lord of
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: phone cameras.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: No phone cameras, no social media.
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: I wasn't famous him.
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: White things.
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: I know the things I gotta wait with, Thank you.
- 1:15:38Speaker 8: Thank you Lord, grateful no phone care, Yeah, I have
- 1:15:45Speaker 8: no record of anything. Yeah, so yeah, but she don't
- 1:15:53Speaker 8: don't buckle under the pressure of your coworkers and all
- 1:15:56Speaker 8: of that society, right.
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: Do you girl?
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: Yes?
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: I like that and do you yeah?
- 1:16:06Speaker 8: She's in late?
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: When you wear it out?
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: Do you save your money, get your stack your paper.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: Right, that's right, that's right, all right?
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: Listening to everybody else, all right, Moving.
- 1:16:21Speaker 8: On to Katina, we have time for another one. Steve
- 1:16:23Speaker 8: Katina on Steve HARBFM says, I think I've finally found
- 1:16:28Speaker 8: someone I can spend the rest of my life with.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: My boyfriend is.
- 1:16:32Speaker 8: Kind, open minded, intelligent, everything I've ever wanted. He's met
- 1:16:37Speaker 8: my family once, but it was a quick, surface level visit.
- 1:16:41Speaker 8: Why he doesn't know. What he doesn't know is that
- 1:16:43Speaker 8: they're not great people. They're crass, a little racist, and
- 1:16:48Speaker 8: say crazy things like it's no big deal. I've spent
- 1:16:51Speaker 8: most of my adult life distancing myself from them, and
- 1:16:54Speaker 8: now that this relationship is getting serious, I'm terrified he's
- 1:16:58Speaker 8: going to find out who they really are are and
- 1:17:00Speaker 8: decide he wants no part of it or me. I
- 1:17:04Speaker 8: feel like I'm going to have to choose between the
- 1:17:06Speaker 8: man I love and the family I was born into
- 1:17:09Speaker 8: what should I do?
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: It must be I would go with the man you love?
- 1:17:13Speaker 5: Yeah, and he black? Yeah, No, it ain't. This ain't
- 1:17:18Speaker 5: everything A little bit, No, this ain't everything. His white
- 1:17:24Speaker 5: girl got her a black husband, that's what.
- 1:17:29Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:17:30Speaker 5: Now here's the thing about this. And if it's not,
- 1:17:35Speaker 5: his disadvice applies black or white. It's very simple. You
- 1:17:40Speaker 5: have found the man you think it's all of this
- 1:17:43Speaker 5: and all that. You found a man you think you
- 1:17:46Speaker 5: are married with, married with yo. Go now, now let
- 1:17:49Speaker 5: me ask you a question. Has he said these words
- 1:17:52Speaker 5: to you? Has he told you this that he can't
- 1:17:56Speaker 5: live without you, that you're the woman for him, he
- 1:17:58Speaker 5: won't spend the rest of your life with him? Because
- 1:18:00Speaker 5: right now, this one side, I think I found what
- 1:18:04Speaker 5: has he found? As he told you what he found?
- 1:18:07Speaker 5: You need to find that out because you might not
- 1:18:09Speaker 5: have to introduce him to your little racing daddy, just
- 1:18:15Speaker 5: a little race. He might as well just not even
- 1:18:17Speaker 5: go over there and introduce him to your little daddy,
- 1:18:19Speaker 5: little fat archie bunker.
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: You just leave that alone.
- 1:18:24Speaker 19: Yeah, daddy, this is the chante. Her name is Deshonte.
- 1:18:34Speaker 19: What is that the shirt?
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: The Africans weren't No, that's daddy.

- 1:24:48Speaker 5: introduce it the Handai Ionic nine, a three rope electric
- 1:24:52Speaker 5: suv with over three hundred miles of range, ultra fast
- 1:24:56Speaker 5: charging capability, and lots of space.

- 1:25:01Speaker 10: Base in an evy. Visit honteusa dot com for more details.
- 1:25:04Speaker 10: EPA estimated rings for land based on fully charge batteries
- 1:25:07Speaker 10: for comparison purpose only. Actual rings will vary based on
- 1:25:10Speaker 10: several factors.
- 1:25:12Speaker 8: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:25:14Speaker 8: the day on this Thursday, and good day.
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: It has y.
- 1:25:23Speaker 5: Hey you know something, I was going over something the
- 1:25:26Speaker 5: other day. As I prepare you know, the boys uh
- 1:25:31Speaker 5: have arrived at the minering camp and it's a whole
- 1:25:36Speaker 5: new set of young minds that will try to have
- 1:25:39Speaker 5: an effective change on I always incorporate a spiritual element
- 1:25:45Speaker 5: in all of my talks with the young men.
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: I found that there are quite a few young men.
- 1:25:50Speaker 5: Who have church backgrounds, and you know, so it always
- 1:25:55Speaker 5: has an interesting twist to it. And then there are
- 1:25:59Speaker 5: some who have no idea what I'm talking about, and
- 1:26:03Speaker 5: I have to fix fix the verbiage to fit somebody
- 1:26:08Speaker 5: who doesn't understand. I'm saying that to say all this
- 1:26:11Speaker 5: that I will always always continue the spiritual component to
- 1:26:15Speaker 5: my camp because I look back over my life, I
- 1:26:18Speaker 5: don't know how I would have made it without a
- 1:26:20Speaker 5: relationship with God. I really, I really really don't. I
- 1:26:24Speaker 5: don't know how I could have overcome the things I've
- 1:26:28Speaker 5: overcome without God's presence. You know, man, I'm so grateful
- 1:26:36Speaker 5: to have come to the point to understand that it
- 1:26:39Speaker 5: ain't really me. Now, let me give myself a little
- 1:26:42Speaker 5: bit of credit. Did I work hard?
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: Yes? I did?
- 1:26:46Speaker 5: Did I never give up? I did my best? Did
- 1:26:49Speaker 5: I give it my all? I done have my foot
- 1:26:53Speaker 5: to the gas pedal to the floor. For a long
- 1:26:55Speaker 5: time now, have I been in relentless pursuit of my
- 1:26:59Speaker 5: dreams and aspirations, Yes I have. Did I grit my
- 1:27:03Speaker 5: teeth when it was necessary? Did I put the put
- 1:27:06Speaker 5: my fist in the lord back and being at the
- 1:27:08Speaker 5: knee and take the brace's position and just handle it?
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:27:12Speaker 5: Have I survived all my haters and they say us, Yes?
- 1:27:16Speaker 5: Did I stay the course when I was offered directions
- 1:27:19Speaker 5: to go on another way?
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: Yes I did. I did all of that.
- 1:27:24Speaker 5: But none of that, None of that would have been
- 1:27:27Speaker 5: possible without my relationship, without without with God, without God
- 1:27:33Speaker 5: tucking me under his wings and protecting me. Man, when
- 1:27:36Speaker 5: I needed it so bad, when I didn't have nobody
- 1:27:39Speaker 5: to call, when nobody really knew what I was going through,
- 1:27:45Speaker 5: God was there when I had turned my back on God.
- 1:27:48Speaker 5: God never turned his back on me when I walked
- 1:27:52Speaker 5: the other way. God just stayed close by because he
- 1:27:56Speaker 5: just kept trying to get my attention because he had
- 1:27:58Speaker 5: a plan and a purpose me. Have you ever felt
- 1:28:01Speaker 5: that way, y'all? Have you ever felt like, man, it's
- 1:28:03Speaker 5: got to be more to my life than this. Have
- 1:28:06Speaker 5: you ever thought for a moment, man, that there's got
- 1:28:09Speaker 5: to be more to my life than what's going on.
- 1:28:12Speaker 5: If you're having that thought, that's cost it's what it is.
- 1:28:16Speaker 5: And God is touching you. He's tapping you on your shoulder,
- 1:28:21Speaker 5: he's whispering in your ear. He's giving you a gentle nudge.
- 1:28:25Speaker 5: He's always there as a reminder. Man, I've turned my
- 1:28:30Speaker 5: back on God so many times and walked the other way.
- 1:28:33Speaker 5: He just said, all right, okay, I need your attention, though, Steve,
- 1:28:38Speaker 5: I need your undivided attention. And because he gives us
- 1:28:43Speaker 5: the power of choice, and some of the decisions I
- 1:28:45Speaker 5: was making got me in a position.
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: Or guess what, he had my undivided attention. I'll tell
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: you what.
- 1:28:52Speaker 5: Man, when I was living in a car for all
- 1:28:53Speaker 5: in years, he had my attention. Then, Oh he got
- 1:28:57Speaker 5: it full blown.
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: He got it.
- 1:28:59Speaker 5: You remember that time he stricken you and you had
- 1:29:01Speaker 5: that You remember when you had that health scare. He
- 1:29:05Speaker 5: had your attention, then, didn't he didn't He Remember when
- 1:29:10Speaker 5: you lost somebody that was real deal to you. He
- 1:29:13Speaker 5: got your attention, didn't he.
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: Didn't he?
- 1:29:18Speaker 5: You remember that time you thought you weren't gonna make it.
- 1:29:20Speaker 5: You ain't have no answers, you ain't know what to do.
- 1:29:23Speaker 5: He had your attention, didn't he didn't He Remember when
- 1:29:27Speaker 5: you made that right turn, and he told you go left,
- 1:29:30Speaker 5: and you made that right turn. Anyway, He got your attention,
- 1:29:33Speaker 5: didn't he didn't he see? You know what I'm saying.
- 1:29:37Speaker 5: In all of this, We've always had a choice. We
- 1:29:43Speaker 5: are the only creatures that God gave the power of
- 1:29:46Speaker 5: decision too. We get to decide all day long. We
- 1:29:50Speaker 5: get to decide. But by God's grace and mercy, even
- 1:29:55Speaker 5: when you make the bad decision, he always did always
- 1:30:01Speaker 5: get you, man, And you know why it gets you
- 1:30:04Speaker 5: because his love is uncompromising. His love for you don't
- 1:30:09Speaker 5: come with conditions. He loves you in spite of your mistakes.
- 1:30:14Speaker 5: He loves you because He created you, and He has
- 1:30:16Speaker 5: a plan for you, and as a plan for you
- 1:30:18Speaker 5: to prosper you, he just trying to get your attention, man,
- 1:30:21Speaker 5: so you can do some of the stuff he wants
- 1:30:23Speaker 5: you to do. I tell you something, man, I've learned
- 1:30:28Speaker 5: some major lessons in my life. And one of the reasons, man,
- 1:30:31Speaker 5: I was just running from God. I was just running
- 1:30:34Speaker 5: from God because I felt like it was so much
- 1:30:36Speaker 5: I wanted to do, so much I wanted to be
- 1:30:39Speaker 5: and if I go over there, become a Christian and
- 1:30:43Speaker 5: honor God, I'm not gonna be able to do it.
- 1:30:46Speaker 5: And I read something one day that struck me as said,
- 1:30:49Speaker 5: becoming who God created you to be will cost you
- 1:30:54Speaker 5: who you thought you were. And that's what I was
- 1:30:59Speaker 5: afraid of. Becoming who God created you to be will
- 1:31:05Speaker 5: cost you who you thought you were.
- 1:31:08Speaker 2: But it's worth it.
- 1:31:10Speaker 6: Man.
- 1:31:11Speaker 5: Everything I wanted to do and and and and and
- 1:31:15Speaker 5: and and and do and and become was nothing compared
- 1:31:20Speaker 5: to what God was working on for me. God been
- 1:31:23Speaker 5: working on us for a long time. Man, show would
- 1:31:26Speaker 5: be nice to give him your undivided attention before it's
- 1:31:29Speaker 5: too late. Give God your attention. Man, he got a
- 1:31:34Speaker 5: good plan for you, and I got news for you.
- 1:31:36Speaker 5: It's way better than the one you got. Took me
- 1:31:39Speaker 5: a long time to figure that out, but I'm sure
- 1:31:40Speaker 5: glad I did. Those are my close remarks today. Hope
- 1:31:43Speaker 5: you got something from it if you didn't try us
