- 1:46Speaker 9: the water of the mony.
- 1:48Speaker 10: Job look me, come.
- 1:58Speaker 8: Come out you think that, Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 8: Good morning everybody you are listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 8: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:11Speaker 8: radio show. Man o, man o, man, I just I
- 2:17Speaker 8: have to tell you this. How good is the God
- 2:23Speaker 8: I serve? How amazing is he? That's that's all I
- 2:29Speaker 8: you know. And you know what, really, man, when I
- 2:31Speaker 8: try to explain how I feel about what he does
- 2:35Speaker 8: for me, really, the words that I come up with,
- 2:38Speaker 8: that they just they they inadequate. Man, They don't they
- 2:41Speaker 8: don't cut it. They really don't. You know, I could
- 2:43Speaker 8: say amazing. At one time. I even just got that.
- 2:47Speaker 8: I tried something real ignorant. One time, I just said,
- 2:50Speaker 8: you know, God is just super captual, fragilistic as be
- 2:53Speaker 8: all adocious. I just tried that. See how that felt.
- 2:55Speaker 8: That's that's all to change is with me. I just
- 2:58Speaker 8: try to because see how that felt. But then I
- 3:00Speaker 8: ain't feel right saying that. The fact that he's amazing
- 3:03Speaker 8: and awesome and he's an awesome god. You hear people
- 3:06Speaker 8: say that is It's bigger than that too, man. So
- 3:10Speaker 8: you know, as hard as I try, no matter what
- 3:13Speaker 8: I do every day, I'm gonna come up short with
- 3:15Speaker 8: trying to explain to you exactly how he works and
- 3:18Speaker 8: how he is for me. So I just thank him
- 3:21Speaker 8: that every day, every chance I get here. It is
- 3:27Speaker 8: it is your determination and your effort. Listen to me carefully.
- 3:34Speaker 8: It is your determination and your effort. I think that
- 3:40Speaker 8: the average person, and I'm not knocking you, I just
- 3:43Speaker 8: want you to hear me out. I think what stops
- 3:46Speaker 8: the average person from becoming successful is that we don't
- 3:50Speaker 8: realize the effort that it takes. And that's just truth.
- 3:55Speaker 8: I found that to be so true in my life,
- 3:58Speaker 8: in my talking to people and meeting people, and people
- 4:02Speaker 8: are asking me questions about it and me trying to
- 4:04Speaker 8: figure out the way myself. I don't think that you
- 4:09Speaker 8: really can comprehend the effort that it takes to become successful.
- 4:15Speaker 8: This is the thing that you have to wrap your
- 4:17Speaker 8: mind around very quickly. If you want to be successful
- 4:21Speaker 8: on any level in any area. The dream is the beginning.
- 4:26Speaker 8: Good Lord, let me tell you something. The determination and
- 4:29Speaker 8: effort is massive. You cannot be overly concerned with sleep.
- 4:38Speaker 8: If you are a person who is always concerned about
- 4:41Speaker 8: sleep gets success out your mind. Ain't finna have a partner.
- 4:45Speaker 8: It's not finn happen. You cannot be that concerned about sleep. Now,
- 4:51Speaker 8: listen to me. You have to get your rest. But
- 4:55Speaker 8: this was my philosophy. I'm just sharing you with what
- 4:58Speaker 8: how I did it. My philosophy was I stopped being
- 5:03Speaker 8: concerned about sleep. I got my rest, but I got
- 5:08Speaker 8: just enough to get back to it, and I got
- 5:13Speaker 8: back on the grind to hop in the hustle. I
- 5:16Speaker 8: got just enough rest so I could go and put
- 5:20Speaker 8: forth some more effort. But listen to me. You cannot
- 5:25Speaker 8: sleep a third of your life away and expect to
- 5:28Speaker 8: become successful. If you're not already successful. If you are
- 5:32Speaker 8: asleep for eight hours, that is a third of your day.
- 5:35Speaker 8: You cannot be asleep a third of your life and
- 5:39Speaker 8: expect to get successful. Now, after you get successful, you
- 5:43Speaker 8: know you learn as you go to work smarter, not harder.
- 5:48Speaker 8: So as you get successful, you may have eight hours
- 5:52Speaker 8: available to you. But on the way up there, I
- 5:54Speaker 8: don't see how you can do it, I promise you.
- 5:56Speaker 8: I don't. Now, maybe somebody can come for it. I
- 5:58Speaker 8: did it. Yah, yeah, yeah, probably lying. But okay, tell
- 6:02Speaker 8: your story, because everybody I know that's successful that I've
- 6:07Speaker 8: sat down and had real talks with, they wasn't concerned
- 6:11Speaker 8: with sleeping. You cannot be concerned with sleeping. If you
- 6:16Speaker 8: want to be successful. How can this happen for you?
- 6:21Speaker 8: Listen to me. The effort that it requires is massive.
- 6:24Speaker 8: It's an all out of salt on your dream. Now
- 6:27Speaker 8: you got to making assault. It requires an all out
- 6:31Speaker 8: of salt on it. And you can't be sleeping fight
- 6:34Speaker 8: at the same time. You can't fight when you sleep. Man.
- 6:37Speaker 8: I wish I could get y'all understand this right here.
- 6:41Speaker 8: Understand that the effort that is required to be successful
- 6:44Speaker 8: will take everything you have, and when you think you've
- 6:48Speaker 8: given your all, it's gonna require some more. The quality
- 6:53Speaker 8: of your child is amazing. See Okay, listen to what
- 6:58Speaker 8: is sitting around having a bill every day? Fau what
- 7:02Speaker 8: what they're sitting around smoking weed for every day, Pa,
- 7:05Speaker 8: Come on, man, for real, But if you took that
- 7:10Speaker 8: beer drinking, weeds smoking chill time and applied it to
- 7:13Speaker 8: progressing yourself towards your dream. When you do carve out
- 7:18Speaker 8: a vacation, guess where you be able to go. Guess
- 7:22Speaker 8: what part of the world you can go see. Guess
- 7:24Speaker 8: how you can cheer up now instead of you just
- 7:27Speaker 8: driving Every year your family to the family union, sit
- 7:30Speaker 8: at the same picnic table. Everybody pull they money in
- 7:33Speaker 8: two ten families don't never pool they money in. They
- 7:36Speaker 8: down there eating like y'all eating. You got attitude cause
- 7:40Speaker 8: cause the day or day side don't have a chip
- 7:42Speaker 8: in or not. They down there eating extra potatoes at
- 7:44Speaker 8: and making place. You're not arguing about this every year?
- 7:47Speaker 8: For real, man, They ain't got the T shirt money,
- 7:51Speaker 8: you know, they got the same T shirt on. They
- 7:53Speaker 8: ain't put in that really, man, so so so so
- 7:56Speaker 8: so you want that to be it every year? Or
- 7:59Speaker 8: do you want this year I'm taking my family to
- 8:03Speaker 8: New Orleans, or I'm taking my family see the Grand Canyon.
- 8:06Speaker 8: I'm taking my family down to the beach. This year. Me,
- 8:09Speaker 8: me and my family gonna go sight see. We're gonna
- 8:12Speaker 8: go ride a couple of river on Chicago. Me and
- 8:14Speaker 8: my family gonna go skiing this year. Me and me
- 8:16Speaker 8: and my family going out to La Man. We we're
- 8:19Speaker 8: gonna go out there for the weekend. You know, you
- 8:21Speaker 8: know it can happen like that. But if you ain't working,
- 8:27Speaker 8: listen to me. Average effort gets average results. That's that's
- 8:34Speaker 8: all it is to it. See, ordinary effort gets ordinary results.
- 8:44Speaker 8: But if you put forth an extra effort. See, the
- 8:48Speaker 8: only difference between extraordinary and ordinary is one word, that's extra.
- 8:53Speaker 8: If you do extra, you can take ordinary right on
- 8:57Speaker 8: over to extraordinary. Do you understand you have to have
- 9:00Speaker 8: a massive assault on your dreams? Quit sitting up in here, man,
- 9:04Speaker 8: trying to chill all the time. I'm sorry, man, I
- 9:06Speaker 8: wish I could tell you another way, but it ain't one.
- 9:09Speaker 8: Here's what I did. I wasn't concerned about how much
- 9:13Speaker 8: sleep I got. I just had to get my rest.
- 9:17Speaker 8: And once I got enough rest to get up and
- 9:20Speaker 8: get the task done, I got up. Somebody sent me
- 9:24Speaker 8: a tweet the other day, a partner of mine. He said,
- 9:30Speaker 8: to see if I can pull it up while I'm
- 9:31Speaker 8: talking to you. But he just sent me a little sign,
- 9:34Speaker 8: just what nothing, just a little something to say. Hey man,
- 9:37Speaker 8: I ran across this, I thought about you, and I
- 9:39Speaker 8: sent it to you. It said no alarm clock needed.
- 9:44Speaker 8: My passion wakes me. It's in block print. He said,
- 9:50Speaker 8: no alarm clock needed, My passion wakes me. That's what
- 9:57Speaker 8: you got to be about listening.
- 10:00Speaker 11: Morning show.
- 10:03Speaker 8: Ladies and gentlemen, get your mind right. It's that time.

- 20:46Speaker 13: Okay, all right, well, thank you, Junior, And for Tommy.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Coming up next, it is ask the clo.
- 20:53Speaker 13: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the
- 20:58Speaker 13: top of the hour. In entertainment news, some sad news
- 21:01Speaker 13: from the hip hop world. Beloved H Town rapper Big
- 21:04Speaker 13: Pokey has died. Pokey Yeah, Big Pokey died after collapsing
- 21:09Speaker 13: on stage. And we'll talk about it, of course, at
- 21:12Speaker 13: the top of the hour. And as we switch gears here.
- 21:16Speaker 13: In celebrity baby news, Courtney Kardashian is pregnant and Stephen A.
- 21:21Speaker 13: Smith says he's interested in the will of fortune hosting gig.
- 21:26Speaker 13: We'll talk about him all all of these stories at
- 21:29Speaker 13: the top of the hour, but right now it's time
- 21:34Speaker 13: to ask the clo. Okay, jessin Detroit says, I waited
- 21:41Speaker 13: to until I was fifty four years old to marry
- 21:44Speaker 13: mister wrong.
- 21:46Speaker 1: It's only been eight months.
- 21:47Speaker 13: And my husband is so insecure that I have to
- 21:49Speaker 13: reassure him that he did everything right during sex every
- 21:53Speaker 13: time we finish. Isn't it best to leave before it
- 21:56Speaker 13: gets worse?
- 22:00Speaker 8: You're asking me if you should leave your husband. Yeah,
- 22:03Speaker 8: of eight months. No, I'm not gonna tell you to
- 22:07Speaker 8: do that because he want to have this conversation about
- 22:10Speaker 8: how he was last night. You won't leave your husband
- 22:13Speaker 8: because he won't have a conversation about how he was
- 22:16Speaker 8: last night. At least he was there, at least he
- 22:20Speaker 8: was with you. Yes, I was saying that you want
- 22:25Speaker 8: to leave your husband because he wants to discuss what
- 22:29Speaker 8: happened last night? How was he last night? And I
- 22:33Speaker 8: don't think we can leave a man because of that,
- 22:37Speaker 8: because at least he would a baby when I was
- 22:41Speaker 8: when I when I was bringing it, was I really
- 22:43Speaker 8: bringing it, the whole up thing, the holocaus, I frying
- 22:50Speaker 8: that bacon, just the way you like it. Now, some
- 22:55Speaker 8: nights you ain't gonna be what you was, dogg and
- 22:58Speaker 8: you need to understand that. But you got to be
- 22:59Speaker 8: if you want to ask a question, gotta be ready
- 23:01Speaker 8: for that answer. So like if uh like, like, if
- 23:06Speaker 8: you said, baby, how was our last night, then she
- 23:10Speaker 8: could honestly say, well it's been better. Yes, ain't no question.
- 23:20Speaker 8: But if you keep on asking them every time, one
- 23:25Speaker 8: of these answers is gonna be true? Baby, because you
- 23:28Speaker 8: like it last night, well, two fridays ago it was better.
- 23:38Speaker 8: What really mess him up? If she opened up a
- 23:40Speaker 8: journal and got all of it calculated? No, baby, baby, baby, baby?
- 23:46Speaker 8: When I when I put that new move on you
- 23:48Speaker 8: last night, how you like it? Well it might have
- 23:52Speaker 8: been new to you, you know, stuff like that. So
- 23:59Speaker 8: I don't think you to leave a man just because
- 24:01Speaker 8: he want to know. Just find a way to let
- 24:03Speaker 8: him know. We're not gonna answer this every time.
- 24:05Speaker 13: Right, That's exactly right, all right, Diana, and Baton Rouge says,
- 24:10Speaker 13: my husband and I are going to Essence Best and
- 24:13Speaker 13: he invited his frat brother and his new wife to come.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Stay with us.
- 24:16Speaker 13: I have my clique of girls that I party with
- 24:19Speaker 13: every year, and I told my husband that he needs
- 24:21Speaker 13: to be more considerate.
- 24:22Speaker 11: Am I wrong?
- 24:24Speaker 6: No?
- 24:24Speaker 8: That's true. I mean, you know, if you invite somebody,
- 24:26Speaker 8: it's got to be as a couple. It's got to
- 24:28Speaker 8: be both agreed upon. You know, Marjorie got girlfriends. I
- 24:33Speaker 8: don't like the husband when I ain't coming over here.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Everyone.
- 24:40Speaker 8: No, I'm just saying. I'm just saying. That's all I
- 24:43Speaker 8: can do is give you my life. Excuse. I know
- 24:45Speaker 8: you have to collaborate, you know. And Marjorie, no, I
- 24:48Speaker 8: don't care for him. She can come on, she won't.
- 24:51Speaker 8: But when you bring him, you know, you know, surprising.
- 24:54Speaker 8: I am not taking him to the cigar lounge and
- 24:57Speaker 8: to pain him. I don't like it. Okay, So I
- 25:01Speaker 8: don't have nobody at my house, you know.
- 25:04Speaker 1: So she's not wrong.
- 25:05Speaker 8: No, no, she's not wrong at all. And you got
- 25:08Speaker 8: a group of girls. Y'all should have went down there.
- 25:10Speaker 8: All y'all had went down there at essay together. They
- 25:13Speaker 8: got a little frat brother and the wife. It's hard
- 25:15Speaker 8: for a woman to entertain another woman. She don't know.
- 25:18Speaker 8: Women don't like to do that, and they don't like
- 25:22Speaker 8: to be put in that spot. Because while you and
- 25:23Speaker 8: your boy have the high high he heat good time,
- 25:26Speaker 8: she's sitting up there looking upside this girl's head. She
- 25:28Speaker 8: don't even care for her.
- 25:30Speaker 13: I like your shoes, okay, all right, moving on to
- 25:35Speaker 13: your shoes. Moving on to Sonya and Columbia, Sonya writes,
- 25:41Speaker 13: my husband, my ex husband is dating a woman I
- 25:43Speaker 13: went to college with. She approached me and my new
- 25:46Speaker 13: husband at home depot and went on and on about
- 25:48Speaker 13: happy she is with my ex. I walked away to
- 25:53Speaker 13: keep from saying anything, and my husband took it as
- 25:55Speaker 13: me being jealous.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Why should I hold a conversation with that girl.
- 26:00Speaker 8: You should have took a sheet of pli wood and
- 26:02Speaker 8: dropped it off. Oh yeah, right there. You know you're
- 26:11Speaker 8: over here talking to me about him. I ain't got
- 26:13Speaker 8: to hear this here from you.
- 26:16Speaker 1: But her husband took it as she being jealous.
- 26:20Speaker 8: No, you don't want to hear that, you know. But
- 26:22Speaker 8: what she come over there with that ball? Yeah, that's
- 26:25Speaker 8: that old rubbing in your face tied. Can you know?
- 26:28Speaker 8: Ain't nobody finl to do that? Women? One thing about women?
- 26:31Speaker 8: Women are not stupid. Everything y'all do. When you see
- 26:35Speaker 8: the girl that you went to college with and you
- 26:38Speaker 8: now have her ex to even bring the ex up,
- 26:41Speaker 8: you know what you do? Yeah, y'all some messy.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Ass peace men are messy too.
- 26:48Speaker 8: No no, no, no, no, no no no, But that
- 26:50Speaker 8: ain't what this one is about that. It's not this one.
- 26:54Speaker 8: You are, y'all, y'all asked this messy next question, don't
- 26:59Speaker 8: need I'm on coming, you know. I would like to
- 27:02Speaker 8: say something about Colo today. It's going so wonderfully well
- 27:06Speaker 8: because Tommy's not interjecting his opinion in my segment. Thank
- 27:10Speaker 8: you very much.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Go ahead, and the next one.
- 27:13Speaker 8: With his face right up against the damn zoom, always
- 27:16Speaker 8: ready to pounce and give his answer. No ass out
- 27:22Speaker 8: the damn zoom so close, and get in your own
- 27:25Speaker 8: damn segments. Do your damn pranks, man and all that.
- 27:29Speaker 8: Get on out of here. He got that little, one
- 27:33Speaker 8: little show ready for love now he thinks he knows.
- 27:35Speaker 8: So anybody asks you nothing on that.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Show Ready to love? First of all? Get it right,
- 27:43Speaker 1: all right? Moving on, last one, Steve, Last one.
- 27:46Speaker 13: This is from Taylor and Louisville, who says, I'm twenty
- 27:49Speaker 13: one years old and I'm getting married to a man.
- 27:51Speaker 1: That's six years older.
- 27:53Speaker 13: When my mother found out we've been dating for four years,
- 27:55Speaker 13: she told me that my fiance is a predator. She's
- 27:59Speaker 13: not coming to my wedding. Is this a sign I
- 28:01Speaker 13: should marry him?
- 28:03Speaker 8: Y'all been dating for four years, y'all getting married.
- 28:09Speaker 9: Twenty one when she's twenty one. So they've been dating
- 28:11Speaker 9: since she was sixteen, right, No, seventy one, four seventeen,
- 28:17Speaker 9: and he's.
- 28:17Speaker 13: Six years older than he's twenty seven right now she's
- 28:21Speaker 13: twenty one.
- 28:22Speaker 8: Yeah, so he was twenty three, he was twenty three,
- 28:25Speaker 8: she was seventeen. He might you might be it for him,
- 28:32Speaker 8: So your mama talking about what he was. But that's
- 28:34Speaker 8: how people do. People always want to hold you to
- 28:36Speaker 8: your prior mistake and never never allow you to be
- 28:40Speaker 8: who you've become. This could be a great guy, you know.
- 28:44Speaker 8: He mighta shouldn't have been dipping that lower in the
- 28:46Speaker 8: whale early on, but he shade in the whale though. Yeah,
- 28:50Speaker 8: he stayed in the whale, you know. Yeah, I'm not
- 28:56Speaker 8: saying he's a predator. But you're twenty one now. All
- 29:00Speaker 8: you got to do is based on how you feel.
- 29:02Speaker 8: If you don't feel uncomfortable about it.

- 35:18Speaker 8: What do you look at budgets seeing you gotta find
- 35:21Speaker 8: out if you really pregnant or just a surrogate. You
- 35:25Speaker 8: got somebody else caring, but you don't never know you
- 35:28Speaker 8: got They got a whole lot of stuff going on.
- 35:30Speaker 8: They be doing it. So I find out, are you pregnant?
- 35:33Speaker 8: You pregnant? Or have y'all assimilated?
- 35:37Speaker 6: Oh?
- 35:38Speaker 4: Okay, if they have still there? Baby, well, I just
- 35:43Speaker 4: want to know what that is.
- 35:45Speaker 8: That's all right. I ain't got no problem with it,
- 35:47Speaker 8: do you. I'm fining all know the fact.
- 35:51Speaker 13: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour and Steam
- 35:53Speaker 13: will give a three cap from his annual Harvey Foundation
- 35:56Speaker 13: Mentoring Camp.
- 35:57Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this.
- 36:00Speaker 11: You're listening morning show, all.
- 36:04Speaker 13: Right, So Steve, this past Father's Day weekend, you do
- 36:08Speaker 13: what you always do. You hold your annual Harvey Foundation
- 36:12Speaker 13: Mentoring Camp. So Steve, give us the recap.
- 36:14Speaker 1: How was it? Looked like a lot of fun.
- 36:17Speaker 8: How Ever, I mean, you know, we're in a life
- 36:19Speaker 8: changing business. We bring young boys, teach them the principles
- 36:23Speaker 8: of manhood and how to dream, and we are we
- 36:26Speaker 8: have a very very effective program. Some kids go on
- 36:30Speaker 8: to college, some kids get in the internship programs, some
- 36:34Speaker 8: kids join the military. Some kids gone and be as
- 36:37Speaker 8: long as you go somewhere and become a productive citizen
- 36:41Speaker 8: and a productive man. Real men go to church. Real
- 36:45Speaker 8: men respect women. Real men obey the law. Real men
- 36:49Speaker 8: take care of their children. Real men love God. Real
- 36:53Speaker 8: men do what they say they're gonna do. We just
- 36:55Speaker 8: pour this into their head. Real men are disciplined, real
- 36:59Speaker 8: men organized, Real men are order. We teach that for
- 37:03Speaker 8: four days and then we teach them how to make
- 37:06Speaker 8: their dreams come true. Those are the two components, and
- 37:09Speaker 8: we've had a very very successful program. This was a
- 37:12Speaker 8: great group of kids. This is the first time we
- 37:15Speaker 8: had this many straight A students at our camp. We
- 37:17Speaker 8: had about between thirty and forty straight A students out
- 37:21Speaker 8: of the two hundred and fifty boys. I mean straight a's,
- 37:25Speaker 8: and there's some really very bright kids. But then we
- 37:28Speaker 8: have just the regular students who are going to be great.
- 37:31Speaker 8: I wasn't a straight A student, and so you know,
- 37:33Speaker 8: I wanted to thank personally Lows for coming down. The
- 37:37Speaker 8: CEO of Lows, Marvin Ellison, came down two with the ranch.
- 37:42Speaker 8: Lows is helping us stay, helped with the tent, the
- 37:45Speaker 8: flooring in the tent. This year, they offered to do more.
- 37:49Speaker 8: They were great. I wanted to thank the hydration people
- 37:54Speaker 8: Energy Hydration people for supplying so many drinks. Coca Cola
- 37:58Speaker 8: came through and provided all all of the liquids for
- 38:02Speaker 8: the entire everybody all four days. That's a lot. And
- 38:07Speaker 8: then a special thanks and I mean this man from
- 38:10Speaker 8: the US Army, because if it wasn't for them, it's
- 38:14Speaker 8: no way I can. They know how to move people
- 38:17Speaker 8: better than anybody, and they know how to keep these
- 38:21Speaker 8: two hundred boys moving in order in a timely fashion.
- 38:25Speaker 8: I learned a lot about the United States Army too.
- 38:28Speaker 8: I didn't know that you could join the army, but
- 38:32Speaker 8: as a civilian, I didn't know that you can get
- 38:35Speaker 8: in the army. You can become a member of the
- 38:37Speaker 8: United States Army without wearing the uniform, without going to
- 38:41Speaker 8: basic training to be a soldier. You can also join
- 38:46Speaker 8: the military as a civilian and as over four hundred
- 38:50Speaker 8: occupations that they have for civilians to join the military.
- 38:55Speaker 8: So I'm gonna find out more about that program so
- 38:58Speaker 8: I could introduce it to our community, because our community
- 39:01Speaker 8: really really learned this information. Because everybody don't want to
- 39:04Speaker 8: be a soul, right, you know what I mean? But
- 39:07Speaker 8: I know everybody needs an education and opportunities and they
- 39:11Speaker 8: will train you. And the United States Army and a
- 39:13Speaker 8: huge component. I want to thank him for that.
- 39:16Speaker 13: Okay, coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour,
- 39:19Speaker 13: we'll check your voicemail right after this.
- 39:21Speaker 11: You're listening Hard Morning Show.
- 39:25Speaker 13: It's time now to check your voicemail, Steve. If you
- 39:28Speaker 13: would like to leave a message for Steve, all you
- 39:30Speaker 13: have to do is call eight seven seven twenty nine
- 39:32Speaker 13: Steve eight seven seven twenty nine Steve, and you might
- 39:36Speaker 13: just hear your call on the air.

- 39:45Speaker 1: Take a listen, Hey, Steve.
- 39:47Speaker 10: This is Ron from Harlem. I was shocked when.
- 39:49Speaker 2: I heard that Teddy Rally is a pump supporter.
- 39:52Speaker 10: He forgot where smee from. I'm from the same privacy
- 39:56Speaker 10: as he and if you want a quick reminder of
- 39:58Speaker 10: where he came from and he's such a crump supporter.
- 40:01Speaker 10: Come to put on that Megga hat and walk down
- 40:03Speaker 10: one twenty fifth.
- 40:04Speaker 1: Street, that would remind him where he came.
- 40:06Speaker 14: Frump, thank you.
- 40:10Speaker 8: I can say to you what I found out. The
- 40:12Speaker 8: reason he's a Trump supporter because Trump pardoned his brother.
- 40:16Speaker 1: His brother exactly from serving a double life center.
- 40:19Speaker 8: A double life sis, and he pardoned his brother. So
- 40:22Speaker 8: that was his reason he supports Trump. I want to
- 40:26Speaker 8: say something to everybody, Hey, man, stop letting these people
- 40:29Speaker 8: throw you off. We live in a different world. Now,
- 40:31Speaker 8: stop letting these people who do stuff just a guess
- 40:34Speaker 8: what you believe and think they ought to be. Don't
- 40:36Speaker 8: even worry about them. Don't even more. Don't worry about
- 40:38Speaker 8: when Kanye say what he say. You know, when Kanye
- 40:42Speaker 8: put on a mega hat, y'all can quick trip about that,
- 40:44Speaker 8: because y'all know, right, y'all, y'all now know he's not
- 40:47Speaker 8: a genius. Everybody clear clear anyway? No, no, no, he's
- 40:56Speaker 8: not a genius. No no, no, he's not a genia.
- 40:59Speaker 8: He started by saying he was a genius. Everybody went
- 41:02Speaker 8: along with it. Now, are we clear?
- 41:04Speaker 10: Now?
- 41:06Speaker 1: I think I think we're clear.
- 41:09Speaker 8: We got it. You know when he up there with
- 41:11Speaker 8: his phone showing Trump the plane, he should be on
- 41:14Speaker 8: the Apple plane instead of Air Force one. You think
- 41:17Speaker 8: Apple got a better plane than Air Force one? Dog?
- 41:21Speaker 8: You think Apple boy?
- 41:28Speaker 2: This is what the Jesus said.
- 41:30Speaker 8: Come on, man, come on, come on now. So don't
- 41:34Speaker 8: worry about Teddy Riley one. Don't anybody following Teddy nowhere?
- 41:37Speaker 8: Jam well that's all.
- 41:43Speaker 2: Jam oh jam jam.
- 41:50Speaker 8: Here that jam for me?
- 41:55Speaker 3: All right?
- 41:56Speaker 1: I think Ron is even clearer now, Thank you Ron
- 41:59Speaker 1: for your call.

- 42:47Speaker 8: I don't always do exactly what he's saying. I'm a human,
- 42:52Speaker 8: I'm flawed. But for the most part, I wake up

- 50:19Speaker 10: Where I'm wrong?
- 50:20Speaker 15: At man, where I'm wrong.
- 50:22Speaker 16: I'm gonna ask you straight up, did you know she
- 50:24Speaker 16: had a man?
- 50:25Speaker 15: Say?
- 50:25Speaker 16: What did you know she had a man? But I
- 50:29Speaker 16: mean kind of kind of sort of but not really
- 50:30Speaker 16: though he no kind of sort of man even you
- 50:33Speaker 16: know she got a name or she don't got a man?
- 50:35Speaker 16: You knew she had a man? Right? And you still
- 50:37Speaker 16: win Dannie?
- 50:38Speaker 15: Right? Hey, dog, I ain't got nothing to do with y'all. Man,
- 50:40Speaker 15: I'm dealing with these bed bugs June.
- 50:43Speaker 16: Stand I'm saying, dude, do you understand you messing up
- 50:45Speaker 16: a four year relationship? You know how much time I
- 50:48Speaker 16: put in with this woman four y four years, were
- 50:50Speaker 16: about to get we was about to get married, and
- 50:52Speaker 16: you call in here with this.
- 50:54Speaker 15: What are y'all supposed to get married?
- 50:55Speaker 16: Don't worry about when we supposed to get married. Man,
- 50:57Speaker 16: you messed that all up. When I'm trying to explain
- 50:59Speaker 16: to you, is dud you calling here on some big
- 51:02Speaker 16: bugger which I know she ain't got nothing to do with.
- 51:04Speaker 16: But the fact that you told me that she was
- 51:06Speaker 16: over your house, in your dad, that's over. It's over now,
- 51:10Speaker 16: you understand what I'm saying. Now, when she get home,
- 51:12Speaker 16: I'm gonna deal with that. You understand what I'm saying.
- 51:14Speaker 16: That's gonna get dot with walking up out of here.
- 51:16Speaker 16: But when I leave here, please believe my next doctor
- 51:19Speaker 16: is to come find your First of all, how do
- 51:21Speaker 16: you get the number to this apartment?
- 51:23Speaker 10: That's what I want to know. They do.
- 51:24Speaker 15: She gave me both numbers, the cell phone number in
- 51:26Speaker 15: the house number told me, you know, if it's an emergency,
- 51:29Speaker 15: called the house.
- 51:30Speaker 16: Okay, and this is an emergency.
- 51:31Speaker 15: Yeah, that's an emergency.
- 51:35Speaker 16: Learn another emergency number, learning nine one one. Because when
- 51:37Speaker 16: I come knocking on your dog, either you come out
- 51:40Speaker 16: on your head of it or you better call the cops.
- 51:41Speaker 16: You understand what I'm trying.
- 51:42Speaker 8: To tell you.
- 51:44Speaker 15: Hey, man, do you think Tommy will pay for the
- 51:47Speaker 15: bed bugs?
- 51:48Speaker 10: Who is Tommy?
- 51:49Speaker 15: I'm just saying, do you think Tommy will pay for
- 51:51Speaker 15: the bed bud?
- 51:51Speaker 16: Who is Tommy?
- 51:53Speaker 15: Tommy dog nephew Tommy from the Steve Hallby Morning Show. Ernest,
- 51:57Speaker 15: you just got pranked by your girl shot niece.
- 52:03Speaker 3: Man.
- 52:04Speaker 16: Y'all, y'all, it was over.
- 52:08Speaker 14: It was over.
- 52:09Speaker 16: You understand what I'm telling you?
- 52:13Speaker 6: All?
- 52:14Speaker 12: That is bad bugs, bad bugs, you know, and can
- 52:18Speaker 12: we can we just address this? Is this standard protocol
- 52:23Speaker 12: for for the nephew?
- 52:24Speaker 8: Just did you work?
- 52:24Speaker 2: He's just not coming, he's just not gonna.
- 52:27Speaker 4: I just want to make sure time.
- 52:30Speaker 11: Yes, No, it's just stand upon.
- 52:31Speaker 2: Are you new to the shot? No, No, I ain't new.
- 52:35Speaker 2: I just wanted to understand the protocol because you know,
- 52:37Speaker 2: I don't see it in the handbook that I was
- 52:39Speaker 2: looking at. I didn't see Yeah, yeah, yeah, I didn't see.
- 52:45Speaker 2: I'm off mondays. I didn't see that, and that I didn't.
- 52:47Speaker 2: I didn't know. That's why I was asking him stand up?
- 52:50Speaker 15: Is this?
- 52:50Speaker 2: Did you write this in there that he could just
- 52:52Speaker 2: be off?
- 52:53Speaker 8: It's just a built in fact that we have with him.
- 52:56Speaker 8: It's never we can do about. It's a damn shade
- 52:59Speaker 8: with it. But in fact, I'm putting the claws in
- 53:02Speaker 8: the new employee you hand book in the back call
- 53:05Speaker 8: called it damn shame claws and right on it. I'm
- 53:09Speaker 8: just gonna have a picture to you. Ain't gonna have
- 53:11Speaker 8: a word.
- 53:16Speaker 1: You been doing this since he was, since you're hired him.
- 53:18Speaker 8: Back of the loved it is outfits the last handy.
- 53:29Speaker 1: Coming up next. Thank you, Junior.

- 54:11Speaker 13: Subject pack a bag and a snack because you ain't
- 54:14Speaker 13: coming back.
- 54:16Speaker 1: Dear Stephen, Shirley, I'm dating a going back because you
- 54:19Speaker 1: ain't going back?
- 54:20Speaker 6: Right?
- 54:21Speaker 11: You do that again?
- 54:22Speaker 1: Subjects pack a bag and a snipe.
- 54:24Speaker 8: That, ain't you know?
- 54:25Speaker 13: Kind of threw me. Pack a bag and a snack
- 54:27Speaker 13: because you ain't going back. Okay, I do like that, Junior.
- 54:31Speaker 8: I love it a little bit more better for you.
- 54:36Speaker 8: Pack a beer uh huh and a snack uh huh
- 54:40Speaker 8: cause you ahead all right?
- 54:50Speaker 1: Thank you, Steve Dude. Stephen Shirley.
- 54:52Speaker 13: I'm dating a new guy that is either really crazy
- 54:56Speaker 13: about me or he's Craig Cray in real life.
- 54:58Speaker 1: He can't seem to get an enough of me and
- 55:00Speaker 1: wants to be in my face. Twenty four to seven.
- 55:03Speaker 13: He was married eight years and said he can't live
- 55:06Speaker 13: without companionship. His house is forty five minutes from mine,
- 55:10Speaker 13: so when we go on dates, he either sleeps in
- 55:14Speaker 13: my guest room or I sleep in his, depending on
- 55:16Speaker 13: whose area we spend time. Then I work from home,
- 55:20Speaker 13: so I'm always able to work from his home. Two
- 55:23Speaker 13: weeks ago, he invited me to a white party and
- 55:25Speaker 13: he said to quote pack a bag and a snack
- 55:28Speaker 13: because you ain't going back. He wasn't joking, and I've
- 55:32Speaker 13: been at his house for two weeks. He drove me
- 55:34Speaker 13: home to pick up some clothes and water my plants,
- 55:37Speaker 13: and I had to get my mail stopped in everything.
- 55:40Speaker 13: He has fixed the guest room up for me, and
- 55:42Speaker 13: he brought all of my favorite snacks. I think he
- 55:45Speaker 13: might really like me because he doesn't pressure me for
- 55:47Speaker 13: sex and he lets me sleep peacefully in my own room.
- 55:52Speaker 13: He cooks breakfast most of the time, and we have
- 55:55Speaker 13: been cooking dinner together. The question I've been asking him
- 55:58Speaker 13: is where is this going. He can't give me a
- 56:01Speaker 13: straight answer. He just says, this is a trial period
- 56:04Speaker 13: to see if we are compatible. I'm thirty four and
- 56:07Speaker 13: he's thirty nine, and both of us are still in
- 56:10Speaker 13: our prime. So that fact that he is locked in
- 56:15Speaker 13: on me so quickly it's interesting. I don't doubt that
- 56:18Speaker 13: he could be the one, but he's treating me more
- 56:21Speaker 13: like a roommate. I sometimes lie in the guest room
- 56:24Speaker 13: and wonder why he's not trying to sneak in and
- 56:26Speaker 13: make love to me. We have done it a few
- 56:30Speaker 13: times and it's really good, but it's like he's rationing
- 56:33Speaker 13: it out.
- 56:34Speaker 1: Is this a good thing? Or is this weird to you?
- 56:37Speaker 13: I want to know what he's doing in the other
- 56:39Speaker 13: bedroom at night. How do I get him to open
- 56:42Speaker 13: up to me? Okay, I think this is a little weird.
- 56:46Speaker 8: I really do?
- 56:47Speaker 1: You don't think so?
- 56:48Speaker 13: I mean, who basically orders someone to pack snacks because
- 56:51Speaker 13: they're not going back to their own home?
- 56:54Speaker 11: Is that what you want?
- 56:56Speaker 13: It just doesn't sound like that's what you want to me.
- 56:59Speaker 13: I think he is pretty much kidnapped you. That's what
- 57:01Speaker 13: it sounds like. For lack of a better term, I
- 57:04Speaker 13: think it's all because he's uncomfortable, very uncomfortable being by himself,
- 57:09Speaker 13: and that's why he's not bothering you at night or
- 57:11Speaker 13: any time, because he just needs a body in the
- 57:14Speaker 13: house with him.
- 57:16Speaker 1: But you do know that you can go home at
- 57:18Speaker 1: any time, right, you do know this.
- 57:22Speaker 13: He says it's a trial period to see if you
- 57:24Speaker 13: guys are compatible. When you ask, but what is this
- 57:27Speaker 13: trial period for? I mean, is it for marriage? Are
- 57:30Speaker 13: you trying to be in a serious relationship? It sounds
- 57:36Speaker 13: like he just wants you as a roommate. You said
- 57:38Speaker 13: that yourself, But again, what do you want? And you
- 57:43Speaker 13: should have a say in how long you want this
- 57:45Speaker 13: trial to go on. You don't just have to ask
- 57:47Speaker 13: him and get his answer. And if you want to
- 57:50Speaker 13: continue to participate in this so called trial period, you
- 57:54Speaker 13: should have an opinion on that.
- 57:57Speaker 1: In other words, this.
- 57:58Speaker 13: Should have been a joint decision and tell him you're
- 58:01Speaker 13: going home and that you want to go home and
- 58:04Speaker 13: see what he says and how he acts if he
- 58:06Speaker 13: throws a fit or doesn't want to take you, Yeah,
- 58:08Speaker 13: he's crazy and you need to leave asap. I just
- 58:13Speaker 13: think you need to think about what you want and
- 58:15Speaker 13: only you can determine that if you want to leave,
- 58:18Speaker 13: leave Steve.
- 58:19Speaker 8: I want to say something about people. People ask me
- 58:21Speaker 8: all the time, Steve, y'all be writing thee Strawberry letters. Y'allself?
- 58:25Speaker 8: Who you all can do this right here?
- 58:27Speaker 16: Ooh?
- 58:28Speaker 8: Who you know can think of this right here? These
- 58:31Speaker 8: people with real life, real situation. I'll be just as
- 58:34Speaker 8: stunned as y'all. Are me sure that you and these
- 58:36Speaker 8: others and we'll be going, what the hell? No, I'm done,
- 58:39Speaker 8: tack a bag and a snack because you ain't going
- 58:41Speaker 8: to done, okay. Now, come to find out later in
- 58:46Speaker 8: the letter that this woman is thirty four to dude
- 58:48Speaker 8: thirty five. Now you're dating this new guy that's really
- 58:52Speaker 8: crazy about you or he's creat crazy in real life.
- 58:56Speaker 8: He can't get enough time with me. He wants to
- 58:58Speaker 8: be in your face. Twenty four secns. He was married
- 59:00Speaker 8: eight years, said he can't live without companionship. Now this
- 59:04Speaker 8: is a fact. He cannot live with our companionship. Now
- 59:09Speaker 8: listen to me. Now, I think he's going to prove
- 59:12Speaker 8: to you that he is needy. This man is needy. Now,
- 59:18Speaker 8: when a man tell you he can't live with our companion,
- 59:20Speaker 8: he can't be alone. I can't stand to be by myself.
- 59:25Speaker 8: That's one red flag. Red flag stuck in the ground. Now,
- 59:28Speaker 8: what you're doing with these red flag is you're collecting them.
- 59:31Speaker 8: You're picking them up, putting them in the back seat
- 59:33Speaker 8: of your car. Steady riding with him. But that was
- 59:36Speaker 8: the first red flag. His house forty five minutes from mine.
- 59:40Speaker 8: So when we go on dates, he's just sleeps in
- 59:42Speaker 8: my guest room. I sleep in here, depending on who
- 59:45Speaker 8: there we spend time. I work from house, so I'm
- 59:47Speaker 8: always able to work from home. Two weeks ago, y'all
- 59:50Speaker 8: got invited to a white party. He said, pack a
- 59:52Speaker 8: bag and a snack, because you ain't going back. Really,
- 59:57Speaker 8: what the hell you mean now? Ask no questions right there,
- 1:00:02Speaker 8: right down. You ain't say, waitman, well, what you mean
- 1:00:05Speaker 8: now you're going back? I got a house, I got plants,
- 1:00:07Speaker 8: and I got a life. I'm paying rental. Whatever you're doing,
- 1:00:10Speaker 8: I need to know you didn't get nothing. Your dumb
- 1:00:14Speaker 8: man packed a bag and got some snacking and went
- 1:00:18Speaker 8: on over there.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: She's a hostage.
- 1:00:20Speaker 13: All right, hang on, we'll have part two of Steve's
- 1:00:24Speaker 13: response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:26Speaker 13: Today's strawberry letter subject, pack a bag and a snack
- 1:00:30Speaker 13: because you ain't going back.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:34Speaker 11: You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:00:37Speaker 13: All right, Steve, come on, let's up recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:00:41Speaker 13: The subject is pack a bag and a snack because
- 1:00:44Speaker 13: you ain't going back.
- 1:00:45Speaker 8: Thirty four year old woman dating this guy that's thirty nine.
- 1:00:48Speaker 8: She thinks he's you really eat a great guy in
- 1:00:50Speaker 8: trade and quiet because he wants to be in her face.
- 1:00:53Speaker 8: Twenty one. They have us married for eight years and
- 1:00:57Speaker 8: told her I couldnot live without the companionship. We remember
- 1:01:02Speaker 8: now he told that to somebody else to because he's
- 1:01:06Speaker 8: ring for eight years now, he might not be able
- 1:01:09Speaker 8: to live with companionship. But somebody show decided he wasn't
- 1:01:13Speaker 8: a companion that she wanted to continue to ship with.
- 1:01:19Speaker 8: So now obviously this ship don't sail on the right
- 1:01:23Speaker 8: way now. He told you he can't live without companionship.
- 1:01:28Speaker 8: That's a red flag, ladies. Instead of of collecting red
- 1:01:32Speaker 8: flag and drive over you to put this red flag
- 1:01:36Speaker 8: in your back seat, and you kept riding. See, forty
- 1:01:40Speaker 8: five minutes from your house, you forty five minutes from his.
- 1:01:43Speaker 8: So when y'all go out on dates, you spend the
- 1:01:45Speaker 8: night in his guest room, and he stayed in your
- 1:01:47Speaker 8: guest depending on where y'all spent the time at. You
- 1:01:51Speaker 8: work from home, so you can work from his house.
- 1:01:54Speaker 8: Two weeks ago, he invited you to a white party,
- 1:01:57Speaker 8: and then he told you. He says, pack a bag,
- 1:02:00Speaker 8: had a snack, because you ain't going back.
- 1:02:03Speaker 16: You are.
- 1:02:05Speaker 8: And voluntary experimental roommate. You are a voluntary experimental roommate.
- 1:02:19Speaker 8: He was joking. He wasn't joking. And I've been in
- 1:02:22Speaker 8: this house for two weeks. He drove you home, picked
- 1:02:25Speaker 8: up some clothes and water. You playing had to get
- 1:02:28Speaker 8: my mail stopped, and everything you had to or you
- 1:02:32Speaker 8: want it. See, ain't nobody got a gun to your head.
- 1:02:36Speaker 8: So what you're not gonna do is blame this. Let
- 1:02:38Speaker 8: on him be because right now he'd have told you
- 1:02:42Speaker 8: what to do, and your dumb man is doing at all.
- 1:02:47Speaker 8: You stopped your mail, He fixed up his guest room
- 1:02:51Speaker 8: for me. He bought all your favorite snacks. I think
- 1:02:55Speaker 8: he might really like me because he don't pressure me
- 1:02:57Speaker 8: for sex, and he lets me sleep. He's filling my
- 1:03:00Speaker 8: own room. He cooks breakfast most of the time, and
- 1:03:03Speaker 8: we've been cooking dinner together. The question I've been asking
- 1:03:07Speaker 8: him is where is this going? And he can't give
- 1:03:09Speaker 8: me a straight as right that. You should have took
- 1:03:12Speaker 8: your ass back home. I asked him, where's he going?
- 1:03:17Speaker 8: And he can't give you a straight ass right there.
- 1:03:21Speaker 8: You should have took your ass on. Personally, you shouldn't
- 1:03:24Speaker 8: have went over there the first day because that packed
- 1:03:28Speaker 8: your bag and a snack, because you ain't going back now.
- 1:03:31Speaker 8: You gonna stop your mail. You over that water and
- 1:03:33Speaker 8: your plans, trying to make sure they still living, and
- 1:03:36Speaker 8: you over there working from his house. Y'all playing my
- 1:03:39Speaker 8: husband and white, but you ain't hugging. Y'all playing house,
- 1:03:44Speaker 8: but y'all don't really live together because you got another house.
- 1:03:48Speaker 8: Where is this going? Everybody listening to this woman. He says,
- 1:03:54Speaker 8: this is a trial here to see if we are compatible.
- 1:03:58Speaker 8: I'm thirty four, he's thirty, and we're still in that prime.
- 1:04:01Speaker 8: So the fact that he's locked in on me so quickly,
- 1:04:03Speaker 8: it's interesting to see lady, this dude, he the one
- 1:04:08Speaker 8: in your mind. He is the one, because you're doing
- 1:04:12Speaker 8: all the things he asked you to do, so you
- 1:04:14Speaker 8: can lock him in and he be locked in on you,
- 1:04:18Speaker 8: and you like him. You ain't never been treated this way,
- 1:04:20Speaker 8: so you like Now. I've been asking him where this
- 1:04:25Speaker 8: is going, and he can't give me a straight out.
- 1:04:28Speaker 8: So now you're involved in an experiment that you don't
- 1:04:32Speaker 8: know what the experiment is hoping to a come. You
- 1:04:37Speaker 8: don't know what he's trying to accompan. So you got
- 1:04:40Speaker 8: an experiment and you don't know what he's trying what,
- 1:04:45Speaker 8: what conclusion are we trying to reach. That's what an
- 1:04:48Speaker 8: experiment is meant. Somebody's trying to cure something. Somebody's trying
- 1:04:52Speaker 8: to find an answer, Somebody trying to find a shorter
- 1:04:56Speaker 8: way like what I'm out of durand I might cut
- 1:04:59Speaker 8: through another trail to see where it goes. Okay, well
- 1:05:02Speaker 8: that's an experience, but he's treated me more like a roommate.
- 1:05:08Speaker 8: I sometimes lie in the guest room in wonder why
- 1:05:11Speaker 8: he's not trying to sneak in and make love to Well,
- 1:05:15Speaker 8: I said, I'm curious about this, My damn I'm taking
- 1:05:22Speaker 8: right now. I'll be wearing you. Yeah, I would be
- 1:05:26Speaker 8: wearing you.
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: Have it.
- 1:05:28Speaker 8: I'll be army crawling. Yeah. I open your doorknob from
- 1:05:33Speaker 8: the stomach position as army crawls to the bag. You
- 1:05:37Speaker 8: look up at this with the bed, all you see
- 1:05:39Speaker 8: is eye and the ball head. I'll be down there
- 1:05:43Speaker 8: and wait, I'll be wearing your ass half the death.
- 1:05:47Speaker 8: I sometimes lie the guest room and wonder why he
- 1:05:49Speaker 8: ain't trying to sneak in and make love to me.
- 1:05:52Speaker 8: We've done it a few times and it's really good,
- 1:05:54Speaker 8: but it's like he rashing it out. Is it a
- 1:05:56Speaker 8: good thing? Or is it weird to you? How the
- 1:05:58Speaker 8: hell is a good thing? You weird ass man? All
- 1:06:01Speaker 8: this nutty mess is doing. I want to know what
- 1:06:05Speaker 8: he's doing in the other room, at mother bedroom at night?
- 1:06:08Speaker 10: Go in now, right, go hey, hey, what's all that
- 1:06:17Speaker 10: out here?
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: Open this doe?
- 1:06:21Speaker 8: How do I get him to open up to you?
- 1:06:23Speaker 8: If you want a man to open up to you,
- 1:06:25Speaker 8: close yourself off to him me and to really, how
- 1:06:30Speaker 8: do I get him to open up to you?

- 1:06:32Speaker 8: Are you doing everything? Tell you to do?
- 1:06:34Speaker 5: All?
- 1:06:35Speaker 16: Right?
- 1:06:35Speaker 8: See, you never thought about being in Lucid Neville.
- 1:06:38Speaker 13: Post your comments on today's Strawberry Letter at Steve BARBFM

- 1:06:44Speaker 13: podcast on the very free iHeartRadio app. You can download
- 1:06:49Speaker 13: it today and listen. Coming up at forty six minutes
- 1:06:52Speaker 13: after the hour, we got Sports Talk with Junior right
- 1:06:55Speaker 13: after this.
- 1:06:56Speaker 11: You're listening hard morning show.
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: All right, guys, Junior is here with Sports Talk.
- 1:07:02Speaker 13: Junior.
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: What you got for us today surely didn't came down.
- 1:07:05Speaker 12: So now John Moran has been suspended twenty five games
- 1:07:08Speaker 12: for showing a gun on Instagram for the second time.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: Commissioner Adam Silver said, you know Johnny to.
- 1:07:14Speaker 12: Say, put basketball in the back seat. Don't even worry
- 1:07:16Speaker 12: about basketball right now. You need to get some help,
- 1:07:18Speaker 12: you know, for get to figure out what's going on
- 1:07:19Speaker 12: with you. But y'all had he did apologize. He said
- 1:07:22Speaker 12: he's sorry to all the kids that look up to him.
- 1:07:24Speaker 12: The thing everybody wants to know, is twenty five games
- 1:07:26Speaker 12: too much?
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: Or is it too less? It's twenty five games for
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: the second suspension?
- 1:07:31Speaker 8: Is this too much? Was it wasn't enough?
- 1:07:34Speaker 15: You know?
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: So eight wasn't enough?
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: What you want to try to.
- 1:07:41Speaker 8: I can't believe some of the comments I'd have read
- 1:07:43Speaker 8: about this man. This is they doing this cause he black?
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: What?
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: Sorry, that's a comment.
- 1:07:51Speaker 8: I'm telling all the man that wasn't a white man's car,
- 1:07:54Speaker 8: that was right, that wasn't a white man's gun they
- 1:07:56Speaker 8: was holding, and that wasn't a white man filmed a
- 1:08:00Speaker 8: white person did this? Yeah, this is because your ass
- 1:08:05Speaker 8: is stupid and there are consequences for being stupid. I
- 1:08:09Speaker 8: thought they was gonna ban him for the whole season.
- 1:08:14Speaker 9: To make that example too, that John Morant needs to
- 1:08:16Speaker 9: realize that, like he apologized to the children, there's a
- 1:08:20Speaker 9: problem in the black community, and you have a responsibility
- 1:08:25Speaker 9: not to show guns.
- 1:08:26Speaker 8: Not to do that.
- 1:08:27Speaker 9: You you have to take the lead. You have to
- 1:08:30Speaker 9: lead by example, whether you want to or not. You
- 1:08:33Speaker 9: have to understand what's going on in your race, in
- 1:08:36Speaker 9: your community with these kids, these kids look up to.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: You got to take that. So being suspended twenty five games.
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: I thought it was gonna be more too.
- 1:08:46Speaker 8: I thought it was so.
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: Let's try twenty five.
- 1:08:50Speaker 8: Who much is given? Much is required? Matter fact that
- 1:08:54Speaker 8: you're twenty three years old and you got two hundred
- 1:08:57Speaker 8: million right now, Hey man, it's something. Then come with that,
- 1:09:01Speaker 8: no huge responsibility to come and come to who much
- 1:09:05Speaker 8: is given, much is required. See, if you don't want
- 1:09:08Speaker 8: a lot of responsibility, then you ain't got to do
- 1:09:10Speaker 8: a lot. But they want you to practice every day.
- 1:09:13Speaker 8: They want you to face a the NBA. They want
- 1:09:15Speaker 8: you to win the scoring title. They want you to
- 1:09:17Speaker 8: get the Memphis Grizzlies to the playoffs. They want you
- 1:09:20Speaker 8: to be the face of the team. And now they
- 1:09:23Speaker 8: want you to be a roll made all that coming
- 1:09:25Speaker 8: to two hundred million. See, you know how many people
- 1:09:28Speaker 8: out here in this world would sign up for that
- 1:09:30Speaker 8: two hundred million to be just what the league want
- 1:09:34Speaker 8: them to be. But they give your ass an opportunity
- 1:09:37Speaker 8: and it's what you do. So now you got to
- 1:09:39Speaker 8: pay the consequence. And it's twenty five games without pay.
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: I'll tell you what I'll tell you.
- 1:09:45Speaker 12: I'll tell you who needs to be down at the
- 1:09:47Speaker 12: minory camp. John Morena should have been down there with
- 1:09:50Speaker 12: the rest of them kids. That's what he could have
- 1:09:51Speaker 12: been down there hunting. Yeah, you need some mention, Rent.
- 1:09:54Speaker 12: You should have brought your ass down to the ranch.
- 1:09:56Speaker 12: That's what you did down man.
- 1:10:00Speaker 13: Thank you coming up at the top of the hour
- 1:10:02Speaker 13: of social media advice from a woman Steve who says
- 1:10:05Speaker 13: my ex is making me into a bad parent.
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:10:10Speaker 11: You're listening hard Morning Show.
- 1:10:15Speaker 13: Lillian on STEVEHARBFM dot com writes, my ex husband and
- 1:10:19Speaker 13: I agreed that our fifteen year old son would have
- 1:10:22Speaker 13: to save up to buy a new game system, but
- 1:10:25Speaker 13: over the weekend he bought it for him. When our
- 1:10:28Speaker 13: son came home with it, I told him he wouldn't
- 1:10:31Speaker 13: be allowed to use it at my house until he
- 1:10:34Speaker 13: could prove to me that he saved an amount equal
- 1:10:36Speaker 13: to the cost of the console. Now he's mad at
- 1:10:39Speaker 13: me and wants to move to his dad's, which, of
- 1:10:42Speaker 13: course my ex is happy about. I feel like I'm
- 1:10:45Speaker 13: being made into the enemy here, but it's my ex
- 1:10:48Speaker 13: who went against our agreement.
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: Back me up here. Did I do the right thing
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: insisting that our team puts in the work.
- 1:10:55Speaker 8: Yeah, you did the right thing. Your husband played you
- 1:10:59Speaker 8: was excuse me, dad. Thing that they do. That's what
- 1:11:03Speaker 8: whoever doesn't have general custody of the kid, every time
- 1:11:06Speaker 8: they see the kid, they become the Disney parent like
- 1:11:09Speaker 8: everything is who wall. He ain't over here during the
- 1:11:12Speaker 8: day that they grind and get any money to school
- 1:11:14Speaker 8: and everything. So now he took his son out here
- 1:11:17Speaker 8: and bought in this thing so he can be the
- 1:11:18Speaker 8: Disney daddy. He wrote. Now your son wants to move
- 1:11:21Speaker 8: in with the daddy because it's all you hear, the
- 1:11:24Speaker 8: right thing, right, right right, But he don't know that
- 1:11:27Speaker 8: when he gets over there, it's gonna get it's gonna
- 1:11:30Speaker 8: turn into real life. Okay too, So your son, of
- 1:11:33Speaker 8: course he wants to go with it. It looks like
- 1:11:35Speaker 8: the road of least Resistance and obstructed fun and all
- 1:11:40Speaker 8: of hit. But that ain't gonna be like that because
- 1:11:42Speaker 8: he gonna get over there and realize, Daddy don't do
- 1:11:44Speaker 8: everything Mama like, he ain't gonna be eating record those
- 1:11:48Speaker 8: ain't gonna be clean, or your room ain't gonna look
- 1:11:53Speaker 8: like it looks. You know, it's gonna be a little
- 1:11:54Speaker 8: different you get over there with daddy.
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: Man, he think he just gonna get over there and
- 1:11:59Speaker 4: get PlayStation Yeah, and.
- 1:12:02Speaker 12: If you try, that would be too. I need to
- 1:12:04Speaker 12: PlayStation Faveti. But your grade said Atari. That's what your
- 1:12:10Speaker 12: grades tended to me. I don't know what you think
- 1:12:12Speaker 12: PlayStation five is, but your grades truly say pac Man, that's.
- 1:12:16Speaker 8: What I hear.
- 1:12:18Speaker 4: That's what I'm seeing the eighties.
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what he give it. D's what you're gonna
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: do with four D PlayStation fat four D.
- 1:12:27Speaker 8: He don't even need no autar, he just need a
- 1:12:29Speaker 8: deck A gold fish call.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: I was a good dad, wisdom Junior.

- 1:12:55Speaker 13: I was able to find a job pretty quickly in
- 1:12:58Speaker 13: my field, but my husband's work required him to travel
- 1:13:02Speaker 13: back to their office across the country once a week
- 1:13:04Speaker 13: for the foreseeable future. Now, he's decided to get a
- 1:13:07Speaker 13: small apartment in the town where we were living and
- 1:13:11Speaker 13: is only flying home every other weekend. Then last week
- 1:13:15Speaker 13: he said he had some work to take care of
- 1:13:17Speaker 13: and that he couldn't come that weekend, which means we'll
- 1:13:20Speaker 13: be apart for a month. I'm super insecure about our
- 1:13:23Speaker 13: relationship now and don't understand why he moved us here.
- 1:13:27Speaker 13: Am I missing something? Should I be concerned about the
- 1:13:30Speaker 13: future of our marriage.
- 1:13:33Speaker 8: First of all, I don't know nobody and moved to
- 1:13:38Speaker 8: be closer to your parents just because they moved. So

- 1:13:44Speaker 8: over there and take care of him. I got you.
- 1:13:46Speaker 8: You just moved over there because your mom and daddy moved.
- 1:13:50Speaker 8: But now the trick move is he got you over there.
