- 0:09Speaker 1: a suit, looking back to back down, giving them more
- 0:15Speaker 1: like the Millian buck things in its cub me true
- 0:20Speaker 1: good it. Steve listening to the move together for ste
- 0:30Speaker 1: Please don't you join me? Join you doing me? You
- 0:58Speaker 1: gotta turn you are you gotta turn to turn them
- 1:41Speaker 1: out turning, got to turn out, turn the water the water. Come,
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your fab it uh huh. I shall well
- 2:03Speaker 1: a good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice, Come
- 2:07Speaker 1: on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show. You know, I think I ought to
- 2:12Speaker 1: explain something to y'all. You know when I when I
- 2:15Speaker 1: wake up in the morning and I say, dig me now,
- 2:19Speaker 1: what I'm asking you to do is it's old school,
- 2:21Speaker 1: you know, man, And you know you say old people
- 2:24Speaker 1: say I dig You know da da da, never stop
- 2:26Speaker 1: saying it. Sorry, but dig me now. It's just I
- 2:30Speaker 1: want you to I don't you really feel me? I
- 2:33Speaker 1: wan't you to understand what I'm saying, because really, this
- 2:37Speaker 1: morning inspiration is all given in the spirit of sharing
- 2:40Speaker 1: and love. It ain't about to expose me in any way.
- 2:44Speaker 1: That's not the purpose of it. But I found that
- 2:47Speaker 1: in my morning inspiration that it's best that I use
- 2:50Speaker 1: some things about myself, because I mean, what better example
- 2:53Speaker 1: can I use? Because I know me, I know what's
- 2:55Speaker 1: happened to me, I know exactly how I felt all
- 2:59Speaker 1: along the way concerning almost everything, every aspect of my life.
- 3:04Speaker 1: I now fully do really understand why God had my
- 3:08Speaker 1: life spend the way it spun. And here's the part
- 3:11Speaker 1: that I want to give to you this morning, that
- 3:14Speaker 1: first of all, whatever position you find yourself in today,
- 3:18Speaker 1: we kind of come to one realization that we got
- 3:21Speaker 1: ourselves there. We put ourselves there by a series of
- 3:24Speaker 1: thoughts and actions. Thoughts turn into things. That's very important
- 3:31Speaker 1: to know. So let's look at both sides of it.
- 3:34Speaker 1: For people who think negative thoughts, it turns into negative things,
- 3:42Speaker 1: and the direct opposite is true. For those who think
- 3:46Speaker 1: positive thoughts, it turns into positive things. That's the deal.
- 3:52Speaker 1: It's as simple as that, folks. I cannot break it
- 3:57Speaker 1: down any cleaner, I cannot make it any clearer. Thoughts
- 4:03Speaker 1: become things. So the one glaring question for all of
- 4:08Speaker 1: us always is, on a daily basis, what are you thinking?
- 4:13Speaker 1: What are your thoughts? What are you thinking? What are
- 4:17Speaker 1: your thoughts? Because I can assure you and it's not
- 4:22Speaker 1: by or promise of mind. This is not a theory
- 4:26Speaker 1: that Steve Harvey then came up with. This is a
- 4:29Speaker 1: fact of life. This is biblical, This is spiritual, This
- 4:35Speaker 1: is written, this is philosophical. This is the law of
- 4:39Speaker 1: the universe. However, you need to drink this medicine to
- 4:43Speaker 1: take to get it down and feel what I'm saying
- 4:46Speaker 1: to you. This is just the way it is now
- 4:48Speaker 1: and here the cold part, folks. It don't matter if
- 4:52Speaker 1: you believe me or not. It does not matter if
- 4:57Speaker 1: you have never been explained this or not. And it
- 5:01Speaker 1: does not matter if you think it works in your
- 5:04Speaker 1: life or not. It don't matter. Listen to me. It
- 5:08Speaker 1: is the way it is. It is as scriptural, it
- 5:12Speaker 1: is as spiritual, it is philosophical, it's just whatever. It's
- 5:16Speaker 1: the law of the universe. You call whatever you want call. However,
- 5:19Speaker 1: you got to dress this thing up to put it
- 5:22Speaker 1: into phase that you can feel me. I want you
- 5:25Speaker 1: to feel me now because this all it is. So
- 5:28Speaker 1: when I say that you are where we are today
- 5:32Speaker 1: because we thought ourselves here or your best to believe
- 5:35Speaker 1: that's true. You thought yourself here no one else. See.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Let me explain something. I got people around me who
- 5:44Speaker 1: so badly want to take credit for it, but I
- 5:47Speaker 1: don't allow it. But because I keep pointing to the heavens,
- 5:53Speaker 1: I keep pointing and trying to say it out loud
- 5:57Speaker 1: as many times as I can without being so offensive,
- 6:01Speaker 1: that my life is by design, by grace and mercy,
- 6:06Speaker 1: by blessings from God. My life is because God has
- 6:10Speaker 1: seen it to be so. Oh, but I got plenty
- 6:13Speaker 1: of people around me want credit for it and want
- 6:15Speaker 1: you to not give credit to God and give it
- 6:18Speaker 1: to them. I got that. I got that, but I
- 6:21Speaker 1: understand that. See, I understand what that is. That's a
- 6:25Speaker 1: person whose design is to get the credit. But it's okay.
- 6:30Speaker 1: It's so clear to me what my father was saying
- 6:33Speaker 1: to me. Man, I get it. As I get older
- 6:35Speaker 1: and older, he always said to me, son, everybody come
- 6:39Speaker 1: with you can't go with you. See, you know, I
- 6:43Speaker 1: don't know how people say that in church. You know,
- 6:45Speaker 1: sometimes they go people come into your life for seasons,
- 6:48Speaker 1: and I guess the same thing. You know, they season up,
- 6:51Speaker 1: they're gone, well, you know, and then but then hither
- 6:54Speaker 1: way they try to hold you though, or you're gonna
- 6:57Speaker 1: forget where you come from, or you ain't gonna keep
- 7:00Speaker 1: it real no more. And so you find yourself trying
- 7:04Speaker 1: to not forget where you come from and keep it
- 7:07Speaker 1: real no more. But to what end is it to
- 7:10Speaker 1: the good of your end? Or is it to the
- 7:12Speaker 1: good of the end? To what end is keeping it
- 7:15Speaker 1: real and not forgetting where you come from if it
- 7:18Speaker 1: does not allow you to progress and move forward. I
- 7:22Speaker 1: got where I come from. I don't want to stay
- 7:24Speaker 1: that no more. I don't forget where I come from.
- 7:27Speaker 1: I know full well what I've been through, but that's
- 7:29Speaker 1: what drives me because I don't want to go back
- 7:32Speaker 1: to that. That's the push for me. I don't want
- 7:35Speaker 1: that no more. I don't want to go back where
- 7:38Speaker 1: I come from. I don't want to keep it that
- 7:40Speaker 1: real no more. It was real enough for me living
- 7:43Speaker 1: in a car. I had enough of that real. I'm
- 7:46Speaker 1: gonna keep it real now. I don't keep it real.
- 7:48Speaker 1: I want to go keep it dreamy. I want to
- 7:50Speaker 1: go keep it fantasize it. I want I want to
- 7:53Speaker 1: I want to keep it out of this world. I
- 7:55Speaker 1: want to keep it off the chain. I want to
- 7:57Speaker 1: keep it moving. I want to keep it ball and
- 7:59Speaker 1: I want to but that's like so naw, I ain't
- 8:02Speaker 1: gonna forget why I come from, but you ain't gonna
- 8:04Speaker 1: hold me to that though. See, thoughts become things all
- 8:10Speaker 1: day long? Where's your vision board? Where are the things
- 8:14Speaker 1: that you won't written down? What do you think about
- 8:18Speaker 1: the most? How grateful are you for what all God
- 8:22Speaker 1: has done for you? Where you at with that? See
- 8:26Speaker 1: here another law? If thoughts become things? Oh h, here
- 8:33Speaker 1: come the moment, y'all. If thoughts become things, let me
- 8:37Speaker 1: ask you this. If all you're thinking about is your debt,
- 8:42Speaker 1: If all you're thinking about is what you ain't got,
- 8:45Speaker 1: If all you thinking about or is all woe is me?
- 8:49Speaker 1: If all you thinking about is every time I turn around,
- 8:51Speaker 1: I'm sick. If all you thinking about it's the things
- 8:57Speaker 1: in life that you're lacking. If that's all you're thinking about,
- 9:05Speaker 1: and if thoughts become things, how much debt you think
- 9:10Speaker 1: you're gonna stay in? How much? How much how much
- 9:13Speaker 1: lacking you think you fin to feel your life with?
- 9:17Speaker 1: How much most stuff you fin to not have because
- 9:21Speaker 1: you keep thinking about it all the time? When you're
- 9:25Speaker 1: gonna be grateful when you're gonna say thank you when
- 9:30Speaker 1: it's gonna come out your mouth. Man, that I may
- 9:33Speaker 1: not be where I want to be, but I sho
- 9:35Speaker 1: am grateful for what you've given me so far, for
- 9:38Speaker 1: the things I have to date, because I don't have
- 9:41Speaker 1: to have these things. You know that does? That then
- 9:45Speaker 1: opens up room for more stuff to come your way.
- 9:48Speaker 1: To be grateful fall. But if you're gonna be ungrateful, man,
- 9:52Speaker 1: let me ask you something. I ain't God, I don't
- 9:54Speaker 1: claim to be, but let me ask you something. Man,
- 9:57Speaker 1: If you're ungrateful for the things we've got, if we
- 10:00Speaker 1: can't show no gratitude for what we have, why would
- 10:05Speaker 1: God give us some most stuff to be ungrateful for?
- 10:08Speaker 1: Why would he do that for? Man? I blessed you
- 10:11Speaker 1: with that. You ain't like that I gave you this.
- 10:13Speaker 1: You ain't saying nothing to me about that. You ain't
- 10:16Speaker 1: feeling me on this right here. So I'll tell you what, Man,
- 10:19Speaker 1: Let me stop giving this dude something because he just
- 10:22Speaker 1: over here he ain't glad for nothing. Because if I
- 10:24Speaker 1: give him some mold, he gonna be mad about that too, Tad.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Anybody feel me right now? So when I say, come on, y'all,
- 10:33Speaker 1: dig me. Now. Do you understand why I say dig me?
- 10:36Speaker 1: Because I want you to feel me. I want you
- 10:37Speaker 1: to understand and come to the understanding, not saying you ain't.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Because so many people got a deeper understanding than me
- 10:43Speaker 1: about this whole thing. I promise you they do, but
- 10:46Speaker 1: they listen to me. I'm just trying to get you
- 10:48Speaker 1: to walk up in this light, man, so you can
- 10:50Speaker 1: go on with your life and quit tripping yourself out
- 10:52Speaker 1: with your thoughts, because thoughts become things, all right, all
- 10:56Speaker 1: days you're listening, Ladies and gentlemen, may have your attention. Please,

- 13:33Speaker 1: Ain't that stop tweeting? What he's doing? Hold his breath
- 13:36Speaker 1: right on his MPort I want, I want. I don't
- 13:40Speaker 1: want him to release it right now. Release it closer
- 13:43Speaker 1: to the election. Yeah, yeah, because we'll forget. You know,
- 13:49Speaker 1: it's we'll forget. Uh, they're going to change the narrative regardless. Yeah,
- 13:56Speaker 1: nothing this I don't care what this Muller report says.
- 13:58Speaker 1: You know what, man, You see the problem is, here's
- 14:01Speaker 1: the deal with the Muller Report. The ag the Attorney
- 14:05Speaker 1: General is not obligated to release the report. All he
- 14:09Speaker 1: has to do is state to find he is a
- 14:13Speaker 1: Trump guy, so he You think he gonna let y'all
- 14:17Speaker 1: read what's all in this thing? This dude gonna release
- 14:21Speaker 1: he man, y'all Democrats gonna be so mad at him
- 14:24Speaker 1: for not revealing the report. I'm telling you, man, this
- 14:28Speaker 1: is going to get ugly up in him. Yes, but
- 14:30Speaker 1: somebody gonna leak it though. All right, Well, coming up
- 14:34Speaker 1: at thirty two after the hour, we're gonna talk about
- 14:37Speaker 1: Jesse Smallett again. Yeah, we're gonna talk about him, and
- 14:41Speaker 1: we'll do that right after this. You're listening to, all right.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson said that Empire actor Jesse
- 14:51Speaker 1: Smalllett initially faked a letter using racist and homophobic language.
- 14:56Speaker 1: When that didn't get attention, Johnson said, let paid two
- 15:00Speaker 1: brothers thirty five hundred dollars to stage the attack because
- 15:04Speaker 1: he was dissatisfied with his salary. Take a listen for
- 15:09Speaker 1: this morning. I come to you not only as the
- 15:12Speaker 1: superintendent of the Chicago Police Department, but also as a
- 15:15Speaker 1: black man who spent his entire life living in the
- 15:18Speaker 1: city of Chicago. I know the racial divide that exists here.
- 15:22Speaker 1: I know how hard it's been for our city and
- 15:24Speaker 1: our nation to come together, and I also know the disparities,
- 15:28Speaker 1: and I know the history. This announcement today recognizes that
- 15:33Speaker 1: Empire actor Jesse Smilett took advantage of the pain and
- 15:37Speaker 1: anger of racism to promote his career. I'm left hanging
- 15:41Speaker 1: my head and asking why why would anyone, especially an
- 15:45Speaker 1: African American man, use the symbolism of a noose to
- 15:50Speaker 1: make false accusations. How could someone look at the hatred
- 15:54Speaker 1: and suffering associated with that symbol and see an opportunity
- 15:59Speaker 1: to lpulate that symbol to further his own public profile. Wow,
- 16:05Speaker 1: wait a minute, so that's Chicago Police superintended. His name
- 16:09Speaker 1: is Eddie Johnson. Okay, let me ask you a question,
- 16:13Speaker 1: is he because I was working all day, so I
- 16:15Speaker 1: haven't seen any news stories this morning. I saw him
- 16:19Speaker 1: just new to this. This is a question. Is the
- 16:22Speaker 1: policeman saying that's his that that's his take on his reasoning,
- 16:29Speaker 1: or did Jesse say that was his reason though they
- 16:31Speaker 1: just came to that smation. Well, well, Jesse hasn't had
- 16:34Speaker 1: his day in court yet. He just turned himself in
- 16:36Speaker 1: and posted bond. You know, he was he had a
- 16:40Speaker 1: hundred thousand dollars bond, and he posted bond, and he
- 16:43Speaker 1: got out and he went back to work. I mean,
- 16:46Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, I agree with the police officer,
- 16:48Speaker 1: but I'm just saying police chief. Yeah, the police chief
- 16:52Speaker 1: was that Jesse's saying, that's why he did it. I
- 16:58Speaker 1: think it's based on the evidence. Yeah, they have presented
- 17:02Speaker 1: in front of them. Yeah, and this is what the
- 17:04Speaker 1: police chief was saying. So just sent the letter too,
- 17:08Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, wait till you see that letter. Well,
- 17:17Speaker 1: they've been showing it ever since January twenty ninth, when
- 17:21Speaker 1: when this whole thing started. They've been showing the letter.
- 17:24Speaker 1: You know, it was cut out letters cut out from
- 17:27Speaker 1: a magazine, and then the sprawl that was written in
- 17:31Speaker 1: like a child wrote that. So yeah, and he sent
- 17:34Speaker 1: up white powder was crushed U. Yeah. Profit. Yeah. I've
- 17:38Speaker 1: talked to all of the past detectives in history and
- 17:43Speaker 1: they don't know why Kojack has no reason. He don't
- 17:46Speaker 1: understand why he did this. Colombo Bonnet by Jones. Don't
- 17:51Speaker 1: nobody understand why he did this? It is really uh, well,
- 17:58Speaker 1: go ahead. The police chief said he was dissatisfied with
- 18:01Speaker 1: the salary he wanted to raise. Yeah, he wanted to
- 18:10Speaker 1: listen to me. You can't say that to regular people. No,
- 18:15Speaker 1: you can't. I mean, man, you really can't. Like you're dissatisfied,
- 18:19Speaker 1: you can't say that to regular people because regular people
- 18:21Speaker 1: are going sixty five thousand a week. Yeah, you mean
- 18:26Speaker 1: a week seat. So you can't say that to everyday
- 18:30Speaker 1: folk man. Yeah, one more time. You can't take rich
- 18:34Speaker 1: people problems to everyday people and expect sympathy. Yeah, because hey, man,
- 18:39Speaker 1: there's people out here trying to put their kids in school,
- 18:42Speaker 1: trying to make rent, try to balance they live in
- 18:45Speaker 1: check to check. They not understanding that, man. Yeah, for
- 18:49Speaker 1: the government, they didn't get a check for thirty days. Yeah. Yeah,
- 18:53Speaker 1: so so just hard man, that's true. He was charged
- 18:56Speaker 1: with disorderly conduct. Jose was for filing a false police report.
- 19:00Speaker 1: He had to give up his passport. He had to
- 19:02Speaker 1: post ten percent of one hundred thousand dollars bail. He
- 19:05Speaker 1: told the police during his arrest that he has a
- 19:08Speaker 1: drug problem. They asked him and he said, yes, one
- 19:11Speaker 1: for which he's never been treated, you know, and that
- 19:15Speaker 1: could be good. You know, listen to me the celebrities,
- 19:18Speaker 1: that's the go to thing. And he said extacy, you know,
- 19:20Speaker 1: as soon as we do exstasy. Yeah, ecstasy. That that's
- 19:24Speaker 1: a first for me. Haven't heard that one used before. Yeah,
- 19:29Speaker 1: I mean I've heard of people using exstacy, not as
- 19:31Speaker 1: one you need to go get treated for, right, Probably
- 19:34Speaker 1: as addictive as anything else. I've just never heard of
- 19:36Speaker 1: it that way. Now, if he were to be convicted, Steve,
- 19:41Speaker 1: a drug issue could be a mitigating factor that gets
- 19:45Speaker 1: his sentence reduced. You know, his attorneys will probably use that.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Jesse is due back in court on March fourteenth. He
- 19:51Speaker 1: will enter his plea then, and you know the President
- 19:55Speaker 1: had to get involved, right, President Trump tweeted at Jesse Smollett,
- 19:59Speaker 1: what about MAGA and the tens of millions of people?
- 20:02Speaker 1: You insulted with your racist and dangerous comments hashtag magaw Yeah,
- 20:08Speaker 1: I don't. I don't think that has affected to make
- 20:13Speaker 1: a make America greater gear community at all. And like
- 20:17Speaker 1: they said, those people don't even watch Empire. Come on,
- 20:22Speaker 1: Jesse did go to work after court. He went to
- 20:24Speaker 1: work after court and reportedly apologized to everyone on the set.
- 20:28Speaker 1: I'm curious what work is like. And he maintains his innocence.
- 20:31Speaker 1: He still he said he didn't do Yeah, he's still
- 20:33Speaker 1: maintaining his innocence. Yeah, but I'm still curious what work
- 20:36Speaker 1: is like. You know, he worked with black people. What
- 20:45Speaker 1: are you saying, Manu on my twist mouth? Yes, that
- 20:52Speaker 1: a lot of what there's a lot of perch come no, no, no,
- 20:59Speaker 1: he hid it there miss Look who back? Welcome, glad
- 21:10Speaker 1: you're back. You want a sandwich, it's a it's at
- 21:13Speaker 1: the crafts table. I do think he needs some sort
- 21:18Speaker 1: of treatment or something, some counsel, something, therapy, something. Yeah,
- 21:22Speaker 1: he has to get that. This is what I'm hoping
- 21:25Speaker 1: happens to the young kid. Probation therapy, community service and
- 21:32Speaker 1: a fan. I think that I think that I think
- 21:36Speaker 1: that his counsel would be happy with that jail time
- 21:40Speaker 1: does nothing for him him up, all right, we have
- 21:44Speaker 1: to go. Um, we'll revisit that. Coming up next. It
- 21:47Speaker 1: is a nephew with run that prank back right after
- 21:50Speaker 1: this you're listening to coming up at the top of
- 21:56Speaker 1: the hour more UNJUSTI small let and Kirk Franklin will
- 22:00Speaker 1: be our special guests. Having heard from him in a while, Yeah,
- 22:04Speaker 1: be nice to talk to him, but right now it
- 22:06Speaker 1: is a nephew in the building with today's run that

- 27:00Speaker 1: Maybe you are his queen and he's taking you to Jamaica,
- 27:04Speaker 1: but that's not how he said. Listen to supple. I'm
- 27:08Speaker 1: not getting married in New York. You understand me. Don't
- 27:10Speaker 1: mention New York one more time in this conversation. I
- 27:13Speaker 1: do not mention New York. Why am I not going
- 27:16Speaker 1: to mention New York when that is the actual ticket
- 27:18Speaker 1: I have you schedule for. Because you screwed that up
- 27:21Speaker 1: and you can already to correct it. Get on the
- 27:23Speaker 1: computer and correct it. Figured out. Your job is. Listen
- 27:27Speaker 1: to me. Your job it is from Ultorel to Montego Bay.

- 27:49Speaker 1: you to do is figure out how you're gonna get
- 27:51Speaker 1: me from Ultra Reals to Montego Bay. And I'm not

- 29:55Speaker 1: tonight to tomorrow and one old Sunday, West Palm Beach, Florida. Hey, listen.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour Entertainment News,
- 30:05Speaker 1: we'll have more on Jesse Smalllett and Kirk Franklin will
- 30:09Speaker 1: be our very special guest right after this you're listening to.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Kirk Franklin is standing by. He'll be our special guest
- 30:20Speaker 1: in about three minutes or show, guys, So hang on
- 30:22Speaker 1: for that. Yes, but first, Jesse Smallllett is out on bond. Now,
- 30:28Speaker 1: after he staged an attack based on his salary dissatisfaction
- 30:32Speaker 1: in document that were filed for his bond hearing, prosecutors
- 30:35Speaker 1: dropped a mountain of evidence against Jesse. Prosecutors say that
- 30:39Speaker 1: after he received that racist and homophobic letter last month,
- 30:43Speaker 1: he texted abel Asandaro saying, UH might need your help
- 30:48Speaker 1: on the low. You around to meet up and talk
- 30:50Speaker 1: face to face. Well, they met on January twenty fifth
- 30:54Speaker 1: and talk. That's one of the African guys, Olah and
- 30:58Speaker 1: Abel those are their names. Anyway, they met on January
- 31:02Speaker 1: twenty fifth, talked in Jesse's car about staging the attack.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Abel's brother Ola was then enlisted, and Jesse gave the
- 31:09Speaker 1: brothers a one hundred dollar bill to buy the needed
- 31:11Speaker 1: supplies for the fake attack. Then, on January twenty seventh,
- 31:15Speaker 1: this is according to prosecutors, now, a budget on the
- 31:19Speaker 1: trio that's Jesse and the two brothers drove around Chicago
- 31:24Speaker 1: to scout locations. Jesse then, hey, man, see when you
- 31:31Speaker 1: hire somebody you post to hire somebody that's an express
- 31:36Speaker 1: say what they do? Right, I'm not talking about for crime,
- 31:40Speaker 1: I'm just talking about overall. Yeah. Right, So when you
- 31:43Speaker 1: got to hire somebody and drive around. He pick out
- 31:48Speaker 1: the spot for get him the huntred. Yeah, he's too involved, clearly,
- 31:55Speaker 1: just say what you do. Yeah, yeah, that is a
- 32:02Speaker 1: good spot. But you know, the lesson I've learned in
- 32:05Speaker 1: all this what not to do that? Just yes from
- 32:13Speaker 1: the stage, No, damn cray. Yeah no, I haven't had
- 32:18Speaker 1: too many real ass when you know, I've had people
- 32:22Speaker 1: jump on me for real. I ain't ben to re
- 32:24Speaker 1: enact that. Yeah. But then he also handed them a
- 32:28Speaker 1: thirty five hundred dollar check as payment used to be
- 32:33Speaker 1: an evidently get it right, I hate ja. Yeah. Police
- 32:39Speaker 1: say that at twelve forty nine am on January twenty ninth,
- 32:43Speaker 1: a day of the incident, Jesse called the Brothers to
- 32:46Speaker 1: tell them the attack would happen at two am. Jesse
- 32:49Speaker 1: told the police during his arrest that he has a
- 32:51Speaker 1: drug problem, one for which he's never been treated. Uh,
- 32:55Speaker 1: and it goes on and on. Jesse, dope, this dope,
- 32:58Speaker 1: that's what this is. I mean, I'm sure they'll use that, Okay,
- 33:02Speaker 1: but he's maintaining his innocence. Yeah, yeah, I don't understand.
- 33:07Speaker 1: So you're not agreed. You're not saying he did something
- 33:09Speaker 1: wrong at all. Well, he'll have his stay in court
- 33:11Speaker 1: March fourteenth, and then he'll enter his play and we'll see. Hey, man,
- 33:15Speaker 1: let me tell you something. It is, bro listen to me.

- 33:45Speaker 1: He apologized for what. He apologized for putting them through this,

- 36:06Speaker 1: And I hope that when y'all here that I hope

- 36:10Speaker 1: y'all always tell me the truth. So it's like, I
- 36:12Speaker 1: really want to know how y'all feel about it, man,
- 36:15Speaker 1: and y'all know my you know, just my a chance
- 36:17Speaker 1: in the world is I'm trying to bring light in darkness.
- 36:19Speaker 1: That's all I'm trying to do, man, Just trying to
- 36:21Speaker 1: get people to see that something is bigger than what
- 36:23Speaker 1: they're facing right now. You dig and sow, you know,
- 36:26Speaker 1: that's my mission on the planet. Listen, everybody, y'all stay
- 36:31Speaker 1: right here. Well we come back. We playing Love Theory,
- 36:36Speaker 1: Kirk Franklin's new hit when we come back, and then no,
- 36:41Speaker 1: we were in the hit picking business over here, Kurt
- 36:45Speaker 1: me and you're in the same room. We never missed
- 36:50Speaker 1: we miss so right after this, y'all, Kirk Franklin's coming
- 36:53Speaker 1: back and we're gonna hear the new cut Love Theory
- 36:56Speaker 1: right after this. On Steve Harvard Morning Show. You're listening,
- 37:02Speaker 1: all right. Steve said, we're back with our very special
- 37:05Speaker 1: he's our family. Though it's been a manute but hurt. Yeah,
- 37:10Speaker 1: good man, Oh wow, man, this is an honor. Thank you.
- 37:14Speaker 1: All right this time, man, we're about to hear the
- 37:17Speaker 1: new one. It's called love theory. Tell us a little
- 37:19Speaker 1: bit about it, Kirk. Yeah, man, I think that the
- 37:22Speaker 1: world is deficient of the ingredient of love when you
- 37:24Speaker 1: see just the lack of love and compassion that we're
- 37:27Speaker 1: having with each other. And it's hard to have love
- 37:29Speaker 1: for people that don't know, don't like when you try
- 37:32Speaker 1: to get rid of the love giver. And so when
- 37:34Speaker 1: you see a culture that is absent of God, who
- 37:36Speaker 1: is the originate of love, it's going to be very
- 37:39Speaker 1: hard to love people that don't look like you, the
- 37:40Speaker 1: people that don't act like you, And so we will
- 37:44Speaker 1: we become limited in our capacity to love our enemies,
- 37:48Speaker 1: to love people that hurt us, to love people that
- 37:49Speaker 1: don't vote like us and think like us, and so
- 37:52Speaker 1: to be able to be the people that we were
- 37:53Speaker 1: created to be, we've got to get back to the
- 37:55Speaker 1: creator of love and to realize that we were love.
- 37:58Speaker 1: And so when you remember how much you were loved,
- 38:00Speaker 1: then it's easy to get that love to somebody else.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen love being brothers and sisters. I want
- 38:10Speaker 1: to welcome you back to life, back to the one
- 38:16Speaker 1: they can make your next chapter your best chapter. Halleluyah.
- 38:22Speaker 1: How can it be that you love the most unloveable
- 38:30Speaker 1: of me? How you see your life was staying, nagging,
- 38:37Speaker 1: funny to be free and some amazing. I wave everything
- 38:48Speaker 1: shorking for my He wasn't hoe you, no man, it's
- 39:04Speaker 1: my mine. That's why. Nobody but guilt. I don't want
- 39:15Speaker 1: to love nobody but guilt. I don't want to love
- 39:18Speaker 1: nobody love nobody with you. That's why I can't nick
- 39:22Speaker 1: me and one the mussy mans got you. You're covering me,
- 39:29Speaker 1: You covering me. I appreciate it, miss me. It's amazing.
- 39:34Speaker 1: Patience with me. I little that fey. You don't get
- 39:38Speaker 1: up with me to help me healthy, to see I
- 39:43Speaker 1: can't like you no matter what I don't do. Everything's
- 39:47Speaker 1: working for my God. Tell you what it come, he says,
- 39:52Speaker 1: the day and we come holler for your that's not
- 39:59Speaker 1: fil got to like this and the polish. That's why
- 40:12Speaker 1: nobody like you. Nobody you, yes, nobody, nobody searched one more,
- 40:22Speaker 1: nobody you nobody right, nobody, nobody and the church saying
- 40:35Speaker 1: Jesus loving you many baby, make your bark. We'll have
- 40:47Speaker 1: more with Kurk rightday, right after this. We'll be back

- 46:06Speaker 1: Quickie that will last a lifetime. It's not what you think.
- 46:12Speaker 1: What I think can't be true. It might be tru
- 46:20Speaker 1: not what I'm trying. But right now the Nephew is
- 46:23Speaker 1: here with today's prank phone call. You'll see just hang on.
- 46:28Speaker 1: Is Kurt gone? Yes? And why y'all show Kurt gone? Yes,
- 46:33Speaker 1: he's gone. We said, by cool, here go to prank
- 46:35Speaker 1: queen in the church vein church. But y'all show Kurt gone.
- 46:42Speaker 1: I'm glad you asked come on, come on, That's what
- 46:47Speaker 1: I said. Queen and the church van Hideo renting Nail.

- 47:01Speaker 1: because I'll see that I'm trying to brother Dad. Okay, yeah,
- 47:09Speaker 1: this brother Scott from the church Belt the Baptist Hello. Brother, Yeah,
- 47:14Speaker 1: I call you. I'm trying to get a little information
- 47:17Speaker 1: about the church band. What's what's your schedule? Uh? Will
- 47:20Speaker 1: you drive the church man? And what's what's your schedule?
- 47:24Speaker 1: I drive it Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays. Okay, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday,
- 47:32Speaker 1: now Sunday. What what is that schedule? Oh, Sunday. I
- 47:36Speaker 1: usually start about eight o'clock in the morning, probably a
- 47:39Speaker 1: little earlier, depending on some of the elderly people that
- 47:42Speaker 1: I had to go pick up and bring to the church.
- 47:44Speaker 1: Make sure they get there okay, and get situated and
- 47:48Speaker 1: make sure they're on time for the service and whatnot. Okay,
- 47:52Speaker 1: and then you take them back home after service is over. Yes,
- 47:56Speaker 1: I try to get all of them back home, unless
- 47:58Speaker 1: they got family members or something that come up and
- 48:00Speaker 1: meet him up there and want to take them to
- 48:01Speaker 1: Jenna or sun afterwards, but I usually get everybody back home. Okay, okay,
- 48:07Speaker 1: Now this class Sunday, which is part of the reason
- 48:11Speaker 1: why I'm calling you. Uh. They saying that some of
- 48:15Speaker 1: the church uh numbers that was on the vand this Sunday,
- 48:20Speaker 1: Uh they are complaining, saying that, um, that the church
- 48:24Speaker 1: van was spending like weed when they got on there.
- 48:27Speaker 1: Excuse me, they say the church van was spending like
- 48:33Speaker 1: weed when they got on there. And you are the
- 48:35Speaker 1: person that was driving them. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 48:39Speaker 1: not not the van that I'm driving. I'm I don't no,
- 48:42Speaker 1: I don't. I ain't smoke weed, and no van, do
- 48:46Speaker 1: you smoke weed? I don't smoke weed. I mean not Carl.
- 48:51Speaker 1: I mean I have before, but I don't smoke weed
- 48:53Speaker 1: now and I wouldn't smoke weed before. Picking some people
- 48:56Speaker 1: love to go to. Now where you from? Who told
- 49:02Speaker 1: you this? Well? All I know is what what? What's
- 49:05Speaker 1: come down? The pipeline is? They saying that a couple
- 49:08Speaker 1: of the members came complaining. See this just happened last
- 49:13Speaker 1: week about this pipeline. I want to know who the
- 49:15Speaker 1: pipeline is because just last week they came and me
- 49:18Speaker 1: talking about that I was using the van to go
- 49:21Speaker 1: places that I wanted to go to on my personal time.
- 49:23Speaker 1: Now I don't do that. I don't do stuff like that.
- 49:25Speaker 1: And now I hadn't had a path, I don't had
- 49:26Speaker 1: a history, but I don't do stuff like that, and
- 49:28Speaker 1: I wouldn't smoking, no church fan, So are you seriously talking? What? What? What? What?
- 49:34Speaker 1: We're trying to We're trying to get to the bottom
- 49:36Speaker 1: of it and see what's going on with you. Elderly
- 49:40Speaker 1: person said, do you know which one? I don't know?
- 49:44Speaker 1: They loved me? Every Sunday, didn't people tell me they
- 49:46Speaker 1: loved me? Uh? They say I'm one of the most
- 49:48Speaker 1: respectful young gentlemen they've ever met in their life. And
- 49:51Speaker 1: so I really find it hard to believe that you
- 49:53Speaker 1: you you getting these type of complaints about me. Okay,
- 49:56Speaker 1: what I'm saying sing like oh we I don't know
- 49:58Speaker 1: what that means or nothing like that. Look, brothers, now,
- 50:01Speaker 1: I don't know you too well, and I know you
- 50:04Speaker 1: don't know leave. But I've been driving this van as
- 50:07Speaker 1: as a point to try to change my life and
- 50:09Speaker 1: where I come from. So this was was something that
- 50:11Speaker 1: I wanted to volunteer even though I'm getting paid to
- 50:14Speaker 1: give my time to do this for the church. And
- 50:17Speaker 1: now this is like the second instance where y'all and
- 50:19Speaker 1: came at me on some stuff about like I'm trying
- 50:21Speaker 1: to do something with this van. Now, why I would
- 50:23Speaker 1: I disrespect the church van by smoking weed in it
- 50:26Speaker 1: and then letting the weeds stay in there so other
- 50:28Speaker 1: people could sell it. Okay, so let me tell you
- 50:30Speaker 1: what we're gonna do. We're gonna go out here to
- 50:33Speaker 1: the church, then to say, we're gonna go out here
- 50:36Speaker 1: today and open it up. Now, if we see any
- 50:38Speaker 1: seeds or anything around the driver's seat, then then then
- 50:43Speaker 1: we're gonna We're gonna definitely, uh point open the van up.
- 50:47Speaker 1: And I was raising that church. Man, My mamma, go
- 50:49Speaker 1: to that church, my grandma, see go to that church.
- 50:52Speaker 1: See the reason we even all at that church. And
- 50:54Speaker 1: you think I'm gonna mess up? They ain't by driving
- 50:57Speaker 1: around in the van full of elderly people smoking some
- 51:00Speaker 1: what didn't want to do? Then I doing like we do,
- 51:02Speaker 1: blood dad. I don't know how to band smell like weed, man,
- 51:06Speaker 1: Now I don't. I don't got the answer to these questions.
- 51:09Speaker 1: I'm just trying to tell you that it wasn't me.
- 51:11Speaker 1: Did you ask some weed in your part? I can
- 51:13Speaker 1: admit it with your smelling, I ain't had no weed
- 51:16Speaker 1: on me. Stop trying to say like I had weed
- 51:18Speaker 1: on me and you ain't gonna get me nothing that
- 51:20Speaker 1: I ain't had no and we ain't had no weed
- 51:21Speaker 1: on me. Okay, Now you ain't gonna mess up my
- 51:23Speaker 1: name or my family's name in this church and disrespect
- 51:26Speaker 1: us like this. Now We've been helping this church for
- 51:29Speaker 1: years and I'm trying to tell you that I ain't
- 51:31Speaker 1: riding around and no bands, smoking no weed with no
- 51:34Speaker 1: elderly people. Did you ask any of the elderly people
- 51:36Speaker 1: if they had any weed on them? Uh? No, we didn't. No, No,
- 51:41Speaker 1: I didn't think about it. No elderly people having no weed.
- 51:45Speaker 1: So you just assume it's me. What one of them
- 51:47Speaker 1: guys got colma or something? What? What? What you know? What?
- 51:51Speaker 1: You know? Who? I think? What? Did you know? Who
- 51:53Speaker 1: I think the weed belonged to? Oh? Oh, I think
- 51:56Speaker 1: I think the weed belong And nephew telling me from
- 51:59Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Show. What man, damn, you just got
- 52:10Speaker 1: a prank. Oh my god, you just got to put
- 52:14Speaker 1: his name his name is brother, uh brother Lawrence, Lawrence
- 52:20Speaker 1: ros Lawrence. Oh my Larry called Larry, but tell Larry,
- 52:32Speaker 1: tell Larry in trouble with me? N man, I got
- 52:41Speaker 1: one more thing that. I got one more thing to
- 52:43Speaker 1: ask you, man, what is the baddest and I mean
- 52:46Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land, Man Steve Harvey
- 52:51Speaker 1: morning man going no wrist man, going on the chill
- 52:58Speaker 1: out the rest of the day. I tried, Man, I
- 53:01Speaker 1: know I'm gonna smoke no weed. I got it. Na,
- 53:13Speaker 1: I heard it. If we did the church band, not
- 53:16Speaker 1: we in the church. I thought he said we in
- 53:19Speaker 1: the church. I got it, said weed, boy? Why not? Good?
- 53:27Speaker 1: Can I ask the question? So it seems like the
- 53:31Speaker 1: concern was the pronunciation of weed, not the subject of
- 53:35Speaker 1: the pranks I got. Nobody cared about what was in
- 53:40Speaker 1: the band. They didn't care about that. Okay, you see
- 53:44Speaker 1: my pan Definitely do hey tonight tomorrow. Ask the question
- 53:51Speaker 1: what was wrong with the pronunciation of what he said? Nothing? Nothing.
- 53:56Speaker 1: I didn't hear anything wrong with it. Thank you, Thank
- 53:58Speaker 1: you so much, Tommy. You can get that off of YouTube.

- 54:38Speaker 1: are right, you're awfully quiet right now, I'll tell you
- 54:40Speaker 1: I don't associate with him. Oh okay, because I never
- 54:46Speaker 1: know a man quiet. If you're proud, if you're mad, dog, yeah, well,

- 55:40Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letter, subject a quickie that will
- 55:45Speaker 1: last a lifetime. Here's Stephen Shirley. I am a thirty
- 55:49Speaker 1: eight year old single mom and my daughter is a
- 55:51Speaker 1: sophomore at a local college. She lives on campus, but
- 55:55Speaker 1: she comes home to wash clothes on the weekends. She
- 55:58Speaker 1: had been dating an upper class and I wanted to
- 56:00Speaker 1: meet him, so she brought him over to the house
- 56:03Speaker 1: a few weeks ago. As soon as she and the
- 56:06Speaker 1: guy walked in, I could not believe how fine this
- 56:10Speaker 1: young man was. He is a twenty two year old
- 56:13Speaker 1: senior and he's six two with creamy chocolate skin. He
- 56:18Speaker 1: has his head on straight, and he plans to go
- 56:20Speaker 1: to graduate school next summer. I could not keep my
- 56:23Speaker 1: eyes off him. The second time my daughter brought him
- 56:26Speaker 1: to the house, she had to run to the store
- 56:28Speaker 1: to get some fabric softener, and although the guy offered
- 56:31Speaker 1: to go for her, she told him that she'd go.
- 56:35Speaker 1: So then it's just me and the guy alone, and
- 56:39Speaker 1: he told me that he's been hoping my daughter would
- 56:41Speaker 1: let him come back to the house with her so
- 56:43Speaker 1: he could see me again. I told him I felt
- 56:46Speaker 1: the same way, and I could not wait to see
- 56:49Speaker 1: him again too. We ended up in each other's arms,
- 56:52Speaker 1: kissing first, and then we went all the way on
- 56:56Speaker 1: the floor of my living room. It was a quickie,
- 57:00Speaker 1: but it was amazing. My daughter returned and we all
- 57:04Speaker 1: laughed and talked while she excuse me while she washed
- 57:08Speaker 1: her clothes the guy. The guy broke up with my
- 57:11Speaker 1: daughter later that week, and my daughter took it quite well.
- 57:15Speaker 1: Now he's calling and texting me. But I have an
- 57:17Speaker 1: even bigger issue. I just found out that I'm pregnant
- 57:21Speaker 1: and I have not told anyone yet. I dread telling
- 57:25Speaker 1: my daughter and our small, judgmental family. I don't even
- 57:28Speaker 1: know how this guy would react, because he's got plans
- 57:31Speaker 1: for his life that don't include a child. How should
- 57:34Speaker 1: I tell him I'm pregnant with his baby? Please help? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 57:42Speaker 1: You Mama are just vile. I mean, this has really foul.
- 57:47Speaker 1: What you did? I mean I say that, well, you
- 57:50Speaker 1: know why I'm saying this. You know why you one,
- 57:55Speaker 1: you premeditated this whole situation. You wanted this to happen.
- 57:59Speaker 1: You couldn't wait for him to come back over. Uh.
- 58:01Speaker 1: You know in the first paragraph you're talking about how
- 58:04Speaker 1: fine he is and all that you allowed this to happen.
- 58:07Speaker 1: You welcomed it, you encouraged it. You didn't even care
- 58:11Speaker 1: enough about your daughter to I mean, you just did
- 58:14Speaker 1: it right there on the living room floor. Well what
- 58:18Speaker 1: if she had walked in on you guys, then what?
- 58:20Speaker 1: I just think this is horrible. And then three you
- 58:24Speaker 1: didn't even protect yourself, and now a baby is coming
- 58:27Speaker 1: into this mess. I just think it's selfish of you.
- 58:30Speaker 1: I think it's disgusting of you. I don't think you're
- 58:33Speaker 1: a mom. You know. I don't know a true mother
- 58:36Speaker 1: that would do this to her own daughter. I just don't.
- 58:39Speaker 1: I mean, you don't sound remorseful at all. You know,
- 58:42Speaker 1: you talk, you talk about how you guys laughed and
- 58:45Speaker 1: talked after she came in, after she came back. I mean,
- 58:49Speaker 1: you don't think you've done anything wrong here. I mean,
- 58:55Speaker 1: I don't see anything funny about this situation. So I
- 58:59Speaker 1: guess you gonna be asking for her forgiveness anytime soon?
- 59:03Speaker 1: And how should you tell him that you're pregnant with
- 59:07Speaker 1: his baby. You're gonna have to tell him. You're gonna
- 59:10Speaker 1: have to answer some of these texas and you're gonna
- 59:13Speaker 1: have to do something. I mean, you're gonna have to
- 59:15Speaker 1: at least set your daughter down and let her know.
- 59:18Speaker 1: But they a baby's coming. You can't deny this, Steve.
- 59:22Speaker 1: I'm confused. I'm so confused with this letter. I'm did
- 59:26Speaker 1: I miss something in this letter because I don't understand
- 59:30Speaker 1: the timeline at all. He comes, a guy walks in.
- 59:34Speaker 1: I couldn't believe how fine this young man was. He's
- 59:37Speaker 1: twenty two, he's a senior Creamies kid playing to graduate.
- 59:40Speaker 1: I couldn't keep my eyes off. The second time my
- 59:43Speaker 1: daughter bought him to the house. As soon as she
- 59:47Speaker 1: and the guy walked in, I couldn't believe how fine
- 59:49Speaker 1: he was. Okay, six two. I couldn't keep my eyes off.
- 59:53Speaker 1: The second time my daughter bought him to the house,
- 59:56Speaker 1: she had to run to this daughter gives in fabrics off. Yeah,
- 59:59Speaker 1: and the guy would offered to go with it. She
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: told him that she goes since it's just me and
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: him alone. He told me had been hoping my daughter
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: would let him come back to the house with her
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: so he could see me again. I told him up
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: felt the same way. We ended up in each other's arms,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: kissing first, then we went all the way on the
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: floor in my living room. It was a quickie, but
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: it was amazing. My daughter returned, we all laughed and talked.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: The guy broke up with my daughter later that week. Now,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: listen to me, they met a few weeks ago. The
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: next time they come over, they in each other's arms, kissing.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Right Later that week, the daughter broke up with the boy,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: The boy broke up with her, whatever, they broke up. Yeah,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: the guy broke up later that week, and my daughter
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: took it quite well. Now he's calling to text me.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: But I haven't even big. I just found out I'm pregnant.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: How what when I'm no, I'm missing the timeframe. She
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: writes this letter. Last week they hooked up. Later that week,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: he came over, they did it. They had sex. Now
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: she writes a letter, how she pregnant already because they
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: did it and they didn't have any part I don't
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: understand what your Yeah, okay, okay, I'm supposed to come
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: on her cycle and didn't and she no, no, no, no, no, no, guys,
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: I'm talking about the time frame. The week that she
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: came up. This just happened a couple of weeks ago.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: Then they came back the next week, two weekends. If
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: she to wash her clothes on the weekends. Okay, listen
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: to me. She came over, then they came over later
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: again that week they had sex. Right, Yes, that was it,
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: just a quickie. Yeah, when did she write this letter?
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: That is not the issue. The issue is pregnant with her.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: It was the issue with me because I'm trying to
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: figure out if you read the letter anyway, I don't
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: get it. Man, You think you think it's too soon
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: for her to know that she's pregnant for sure according
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: to this letter based on the timeline, I'm so confused. Well,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: we just have to go by what she's saying here.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: You know she's pregnant by this guy. I would have
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: to question if it's this guy. Well, okay, because it
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: seems like just to me, just to me, the timeline
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: of this letter doesn't lead to you coming up saying you,
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: I don't see a month in this letter. Okay, you
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: know it only takes a couple of seconds together. I mean,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: it doesn't know. Surely I'm not talking about that. I
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: don't know. I see two weeks in this letter. I
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: don't see no more time. Okay, that's all I see
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: in the letters. All I'm saying, all right, Well, hang on, okay,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: we're gonna come back with part two of your response
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: at twenty three after the hour. Subject of today's strawberry letter,
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: A quickie that will last a lifetime. We'll get back
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: into it right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: Let's recap today's strawberry Letters. Subject to quickie that will
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: last a lifetime. This is the worst a quickie. Just
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: thirty eight year old single mom daughters, a sophomore in college,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: brings his boy home. She finally meets the boy he's dating.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: She's dating up with Castle. He twenty two six two,
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: with creamy chocolate skin, got his head on straight, plans
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: graduate school next summer. You couldn't keep your eyes off
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: of him, so you couldn't keep your eyes off your daughter. Man.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: The second time my daughter bought into the house, she
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: had to run to the stove, get some fabrics off,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: and and and Although the guy offered to go forward.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: She told him she'd go. Then it's just me and
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: the guy learned. He told me he'd been hoping my
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: daughter will bring me back to the house with her
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: so he could see me again. I told him I
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: feel the same way and I couldn't wait to see
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: him again. They ended up on the flow screwing. That's
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: all is said in the liver room. It was a quickie,
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: but it was amazing. Your daughter came back. We all
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: laughed and talked while she washed her clothes. The guy
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: broke up with my daughter, laid up that week. That
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: same week, my daughter took it quite well. Now he's
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: calling and texting me. But you got a bigger problem.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: I just found out I'm pregnant and I haven't told
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: anyone yet. Oho, you're gonna tell. I dread telling my
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: daughter and our small judgmental judgmental lady, do you know
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: what you did? Ye? You slept with your daughter's man,
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: who ain't his man no more, her man, no more.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: But then she says, I don't even know how this
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: guy would react because he's got plans for his life
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: to don't include the child. He ain't got no money
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: for the child. You don't know his last name. And
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now, he ain't gonna be happy.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: He not fitning gonna make no life with you. You
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: thirty eight, He don't want no life with you. All
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: he wanted from you he got. They might fall through
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: a couple more times, just you know, South socialmore wild
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: Osi twenty two. How should I tell him I'm pregnant
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: with his baby? What you're fit to throw this boy?
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: This boy you've been to find out how much a
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: boy he is? I tell you, just gonna tell him
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: you're pregnant with his baby. Watch watch how he gonna
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: get to deny that. First of all, he gonna swear
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: him down in his baby. He's gonna say, we've only
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: been together once and it wasn't nothing but once, and
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: it wasn't about nothing. Then watch this. Now you got
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: to take a paternity test and drag him down there,
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: and he got to take one. Now, let's suppose it
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: is his baby. Let's suppose I think it is. Well,
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: I mean, you know, Sherlon, it's nothing to say if
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: you do it this fast for one person. This ain't
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: the first time you've done this. Now you don't you
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: don't wait to thirty eighth to get tricky. Learn him him,
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: you've done this before. Oh, this ain't the first This
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: ain't the first time you've been tricky, So I can
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: assure you I don't really think this is the first
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: time doing nothing like that. Of course, it's first time
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: she messed over on her daughter, but she'd have met
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: a guy before it had this hot, passionate moment, So
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: I'm not I'm just saying what else that could Who
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: was she seeing before the boy walked into the house
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: go to mom? Yeah, because she gotta be kind of
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: jazzy now for a twenty two year old ago, man,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: I couldn't wait to come back over here to see you. Yeah,
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: and she's only thirty eight. Let's young. I mean she's vile, man,
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: that's lowdown ladies. And then they laughed often talked what it? Yeah,
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: I mean after her daughter came back, they're laughed and
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: talked while she washed her clothes. While she washed clothe
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: that's so crazy, man, I'm gonna tell you, man, that's
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: just so crazy. That's lowdown. You know what, man, It
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: makes all of us who have had great mothers appreciate
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: them even more. Yeah, this is not a normal behavior
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: for a mom. It just isn't. That's not at all.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: You're doing stuff like this. You don't use any protection.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: This is craziness. Everything about this letter doesn't go around
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: and doesn't. And I don't know who this dude is.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: Everything about this letter is crazy. I don't understand it
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: at all. It don't make no sense. Yeah, I mean,
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: no protection. None. And then my daughter returned and we
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: all laughed and talked while she washed her clothes. That's
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: the line. And you know what, I have no advice
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: for this woman none. Oh, how do I tell your daughter?
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: Because I just I don't know how you gonna tell her.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: First of all, you having to tell her this right,
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: there is low down on every level. But your your
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: daughter is not gonna understand this at all. I promise you.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: Your daughter not gonna go Okay, mom, that's cool. I'm winning.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: Oh I'm gonna have a little brother. No, I promise
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: you she not. She gonna be tripping as she should.
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: I mean you you that's look, you're gonna mess your
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: your your your trust up with your daughter. It's gone.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: It's done, Yeah, it's gone. And probably if she listened
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: to this show or anybody around her. It ain't gonna
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: be hard to figure out. It's you. I told he
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: told me he couldn't wait to come back to the
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: house so he could see me again. I told him
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: I felt the same way, and I could not wait
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: to see him again. You know what, if you wouldn't
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: have said, Okay, okay, sure, let's act this scene now.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: I'm the guy, and I and you and you the wife. Okay,
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: thirty eight year old? Yeah, thirty, miss miss Tatum. You know,
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: you know, Roger, Hey, you know, I'm glad she bought
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: me by here because you know what, man, man, I
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: just wanted to see you. Oh my god, I'm so
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: glad you said that. I've been holding it in and
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: holding it in. I'm so glad. I feel the same way. Really.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: Oh yes, I mean you know it was like automatic, Yes,
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: surely you don't went on, I'm getting the letter. Yeah,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: but we're in the flow already with her fast. She
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: said he was fine, didn't she? Six two Amy chocolate
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: Skin were waiting for the reenactment. Was the same as
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: the damn letter. I know right. All right, listen, guys,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: we do have to get out of your Instagram us
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: or email us your thoughts onto, I want to get
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: to that part right, whole life sadum though. All right,
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: look email us our instagram as your thoughts on today's
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter and Steve Harvey FM coming in ten minutes.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: Cardie B has Chloe Kardashian's back when we come back
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: right after. Yeah, you're listening. According to a news as fans,
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: well now, Chloe Kardashian has officially called it quits with
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: basketball pro Tristan Thompson. This is amid allegations that he
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: cheated on her with Chloe's little sister, Kylie's best friend,
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: Jordan Woods. Well, Cardie B, that's our girl. She's speaking
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: out and wondering why would Jordan do such a thing.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: Cardi B has been through a lot we all know,
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: and she's having She's faced such personal strife in public
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: spotlight too, you know, with her and Offset going through
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: their thing, leaving room for critics to comment. But Cardi
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: B spoke out against those very peace people in a
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: recent Instagram live, condemning those who are finding fun and
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: Chloe's paint. Take a listen. I think everybody been in
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: those shoes like I've been through it. Friends, been through
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: it family been through it. A lot of y'all've been
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: through it. That's why y'all always comment, seeing on their
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: comments like I would never allow a man to do
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: that to me. That happened to me a lot of y'all.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: Have you seen a lot of y'all say because y'a've
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: been through some seck that. So why is it that
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: chad laugh and live? Oh? I live for another woman's pain,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. Like me, when I'm sad,
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: when I'm sad, my heart is broken, I look at
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: my baby and I gave him more sad. And it
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: could be on a day that I'm just tired and
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: I just be so sad and I look at my
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: baby and I just get more sad. So it's like
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: imagine shortly feeling looking at her baby right now, her heartbroken. Wow,
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: I know, man, It's like I can really understand this system, man,
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: because you know what y'all we just you know. I
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: was one of Kevin Hart's posts about a week ago,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: was talking about, man, why are we so hateful towards
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: one another? Why is our whole ambition and demise is
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: to bring another person down? I mean, man, we we
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: only that's social media thing. Those trolls, they only look
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: for the bad, laughing at I never let nobody do
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: me like that. Let what do you mean? Let hey, man,
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: nobody lets anything. It's called life. It's going to happen
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: to all of us. You will not escape life without
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: life happening to you. If you wake up, life is coming, setbacks, challenges, heartbreaks, hurt,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: were hurting, its death. It's in life. Man. But man,
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: if we just constantly man, we're so hateful as a people.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: And you know, man, you can always tell who it is,
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: and you know it's really hurtful. Man, when it's your
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: own Yeah, when it's your own people, man whose one
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: goal is to watch you crumble and nothing else matters.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: When we, of all people need as many to make
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: it as we possibly can so we can have stuff
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: to point our children to an example of how. But
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: you know something, man, I tell all my kids. Man,
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: y'all don't y'all don't want this fame. You do not
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: want this fame because this right here, man, this ain't
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: what you want. People think they do now, it is
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: a lot that comes with it that you don't even
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: expect to understand and public scrutiny and opinion of you
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: are from people who don't even know you. You on
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: the lips of people who have never met you, and
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: they're making disparaging marks about you. Yeah, and they don't
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: even know you. That's that's hard to take some time, man,
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: that's hard. We're all human and we have feelings. Yeah,
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: we're all human. Like you said, Shirley, what her relationship
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: with Offset and his rumors are cheating and she just
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: had a baby, and the same thing with Chloe with Tristan.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: Now she just had a baby with this man and
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: here he is accused of cheating with her little sister's
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: best friend. Right, And that's painful. And that's because you
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: know what, man, every woman wants her child to be
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: able to say, that's my dad. Yeah, boy or girl.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: They wanted to go mad, that's my mommy, and that's
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: my dad, and what card he is saying it. She
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: looks at her baby sometimes she gets sad because man,
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: and then like men, man, I think we just have
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: to come to the point where okay, man, hold up,
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: hold up, I don't want nobody else raising my kid.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: I mean, you know, you know, man, we just have
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: to come to that point. Yeah, and we get opportunities.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: A lot of women give us opportunities to get it right.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: And so if they give you the opportunity to get
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: it right, man, at one point in time, we got
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: to grow up as men and say, you know what, man,
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: I don't want nobody else raising my kids. Man, Damn man,
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: I'm mine gonna be able to look at me and
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: be proud of me. I'm not to say, man, you're
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: gonna live this in this world mistake free, because that
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: ain't nobody perfect, right, But you know, man, you're gonna
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: make mistakes. But but just just get better at it.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: If you make a mistake, recover, make good on it,
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: learn from me, and move on. Yeah. But um yeah,
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: thanks Cardie for speaking out because she knows what the
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: girl is going through and sept But all the people
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: laughing at it, I ain't letting nobody do that to me.
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: Let just dragging. You ain't even get nobody, bro, I
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: don't know what people be telling. I ain't nobody gonna
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: do me like that. You don't know. You don't know that. Yeah,
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: you've never been through it. You don't know what you're
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: gonna do. Hey, man, that's just like saying, ain't nobody
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: around me fitt the doc right. Really, I'm saying, I'll
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: never do that. I ain't gonna never do that. You
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: don't know what you're gonna do. Let me tell you something.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: When I was I was about eleven years old, I
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: was talking to my brother one tell, and they were
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: talking about doing something with women. And one of my
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: brothers said, man, I ain't this girl man, And I
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: was kissing her and he wasn't kind of deep into
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: this conversation with my older brother, and I was standing
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: there listen to him. I said, I never do that
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: to a girl. My brother's turned around and said, shut
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: your stupid ass, Just shut your stupid what you ain't
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: gonna do with no girl? You haven't that? And a
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: whole lot more. That's right. I remember the exact subject
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: they was talking about. I have done that, and a
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: whole lot of moment just like they said, Yeah, Joe,
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: stupid as tell me what you ain't gonna do that
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: to no girl? Shut up, get out. That's what the
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: kids hang m when you did. All right, listen, coming
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, guys, we're gonna
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: talk about the movies because the oscars are this Sunday night.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening to show? All right, the
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: Oscars are this Sunday night. Guys, Tommy, what you what

- 1:28:10Speaker 1: don't be surprised if Bradley Cooper splits with his long

- 1:28:18Speaker 1: when they sing and and all of that. They think

- 1:29:05Speaker 1: letter up and when it's signed a NEMO, they going
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: to invite me. They're not gonna head me do it
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: cause of the pageant. All right, listen, we'll be back
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show, all right. Chicago
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson said that Empire actor Jesse small
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: Lett initially faked a letter using racist and homophobic language.
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: When that didn't get attention, Johnson said, small Lett paid
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: two brothers thirty five hundred dollars to stage the attack
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: because he was dissatisfied with his salary. Take a listen,
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: But this morning I come to you not only as
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: the superintendent of the Chicago Police Department, but also as
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: a black man who spent his entire life living in
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: the city Chicago. I know the racial divide that exists here.
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: I know how hard it's been for our city and
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: our nation to come together, and I also know the disparities,
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: and I know the history. This announcement today recognizes that
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: Empire actor Jesse Smilett took advantage of the pain and
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: anger of racism to promote his career. I'm left hanging
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: my head and asking why why would anyone, especially an
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: African American man, use the symbolism of a noose to
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: make false accusations. How could someone look at the hatred
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: and suffering associated with that symbol and see an opportunity
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: to manipulate that symbol to further his own public profile. Wow?
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: Wait a minute, So that's what the Chicago Police superintended.
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: His name is Eddie Johnson. Okay, let me ask you
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: a question. Is he Because I was working on day
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: so I haven't seen any news stories this morning I saw.
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: I'm just new to this. This is a question. Is
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: the policeman saying that's his that that's his take on
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: his reasoning, or does Jesse say that was his reason
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: or they just came to that summation. Well, well, Jesse
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: hasn't had his day in court yet. He just turned
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: himself in and posted bond. You know, he was he
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: had one hundred thousand dollars bond and he posted bond,
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: and he got out and he went back to work.
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, I mean, I agree with the
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: police officer, but I'm just saying police chief. Yeah, the
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: police chief was that Jesse's saying that's why he did it.
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: I think it's based on the evidence. Yeah, that they
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: have presented in front of them. Yeah, and this is
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: what the police chief was saying. So Jesse sent a
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: letter too, Yeah yeah, yeah, wait till you see that letter. Well,
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: they've showing it ever since January twenty ninth, when when
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: this whole thing started. They've been showing the letter. You know,
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: it was cut out letters cut out from a magazine
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: and then the sprawl that was written and like a
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: child wrote that. So yeah, and he sent up white
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: powder was crushed. Uh yeah, profit, yeah. I've talked to
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: all of the past detectives in history, and they don't
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: know why. Kojack has no reason. He don't understand why
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: he did this. Colombo Bonnet by Jones. Don't nobody understand
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: why he did this? It is really uh well, it's
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: go ahead. The police chief said he was dissatisfied with
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: the salary. He wanted a raise. Yeah, he wanted k
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: listened to me. That's more than You can't say that
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: to regular pete. No you can't. I mean, man, you
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: really can't. Like you dissatisfied, You can't say that to
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: regular people because regular people are going sixty five thousand
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: a week. Yeah, all right, So when we come back,
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: we'll do our last break of the day, our last
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: break of the week, and then we'll get some closing
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: remarks from our fearless leader, Steve Harvey. Baby, right after
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: this you're listening to show. All right, here we go.
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: It is Friday, our last break of the day, and
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: this is our last break of the week. It's been
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: an interesting week. Wow, A lot of things going on. Yeah,
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: it has really been crazy. Don't we get the oscars
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: are this Sunday night if you choose to watch, if
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: you're planning, I'm watching. I'm sure I'll be watching some
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: of it, at least I know I will. Black Panther, Yeah,
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: Spike Lee, first time, Yeah, yeah, best picture. I saw
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: Black Panther don't win best Picture. I'm you where's the
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: Oscar building? There? And and Black and Black Clansman is
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: also up, directed by Spike Lee, and this is his
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: first time. So this is big, yeah being nominated. Yeah,
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: this is big, Steve. Yeah, I didn't know that. Ye, yes, ye,
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: Malcolm should have been Oh my god, ye should have
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: been not to mention mod Blues Girl, Bleak Blake and
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: Wesley snipe shoutout shadow Man. Yes, yes, yes, big brother,
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: my tea was in there. Okay, all right, so uh
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: all right Steve, here we are right, I was going
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: to talk. Okay, all right, Steve, take it away with
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: your closing remark. Well my remarks, uh today they've been
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: used of late in opening and closing of the shows.
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: Because I decided to try to be a bit more
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: inspirational this year. Kind of a mandate was put on
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: me by God. I was asking God for some things
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: that I wanted to happen in my life, and of course,
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: as always, he has another requirement for me. I've learned
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: that Scripture is very very true. To whom much has given,
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: much is required. And so you know, as God, as
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: I ask God for things, you know, I got to
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: be prepared to handle what comes along with it. I
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: also have learned that when God is about to do
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: something great in your life, that when you offer up
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: prayers for your own happiness or success or you are
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: you open or are you offer up thanks? You have
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: to remember that God is not the only one that
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: hears this prayer. That the evil forces that be they
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: hear your prayer too. And the devil's only job is
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: to make your life miserable. The devil has one on
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: mission in life to make you lose hope, to make
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: you think God don't love you, and for you not
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: to see the blessings or things that God is capable
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: of doing in your life. That is simple as that.
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: The devil has no other mission and he use any
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: resource he possibly can to get that done. And I've
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: learned that and one of the things I want to
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: point out to people, and I hope this helps you.
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: Don't let others opinions shape your opinion of yourself. If
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: you have a strong opinion about yourself, if you think
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: if your opinion of yourself is that you're basically a
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: good person. Now, we all make mistakes, I got that.
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: But if your basic opinion of yourself is that you
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: you're a good person, You're a caring person. You try
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: to be a righteous person, you try to do the
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: right things. Now, when you make a mistake, here's what
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: you cannot do. You cannot allow others opinions to shape
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: your opinion of yourself. It doesn't work that way because
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: you got to remember the people who are having an
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: opinion about you that don't really know you, and especially
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: when they have a negative turn or negative opinion of you,
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: you got to remember their job is to hurt, destroy, demolish, upset,
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: prevent and stop you from having the life that God
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: really has with you. It's really really just that simple.
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: So I say to all of you, sometimes when things
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: are falling apart, they may actually be falling into place.
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: I want you to think about that. Sometimes when things
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: are falling apart, they may actually be falling into place.
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: You know, You've got to understand, man, there's a scripture
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: that says something to the effect that all things work
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: to the good for those that love the Lord, something
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: to that effect. It's not verbatim that, but that's what
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: it is, and that's what I believe, and that's the
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: hope you have to hang on too, because listen to this.
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: And I said this the other day, but I'm gonna
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: say it to you, playing and simple. Every bad day
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: I've ever had, every bad day that you've ever had,
- 1:38:41Speaker 1: every day that I didn't think I was gonna make it,
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: every day that you didn't think you was gonna make it.
- 1:38:49Speaker 1: As you look back all on all of your darkest days,
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: your track record for getting through those dark days is
- 1:38:59Speaker 1: one hundred percent. And that, y'all, is good news. That
- 1:39:07Speaker 1: is not a bad or horrible situation that you've never
- 1:39:11Speaker 1: made it through, not a single one. You are batting
- 1:39:16Speaker 1: a thousand. Y'all, your dog days that you can roll through,
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: you batten one hundred percent. You got through every last
- 1:39:23Speaker 1: one of them, even when you didn't think you would.
- 1:39:27Speaker 1: That's the joy of it, man, that's the goodness. So
- 1:39:31Speaker 1: when people are attacking you, don't let others opinions shape
- 1:39:35Speaker 1: your opinions of yourself. If you know yourself to be
- 1:39:39Speaker 1: a righteous person best because somebody say it ain't so,
- 1:39:42Speaker 1: don't make it that. Don't let these people's opinions get
- 1:39:45Speaker 1: in your head about who you really are. Don't let
- 1:39:48Speaker 1: the devil get in there and block your blessings. Don't
- 1:39:50Speaker 1: let him win the battles. Don't let him win the war.
- 1:39:53Speaker 1: Don't let him get you off task thinking you ain't
- 1:39:56Speaker 1: this or you ain't that. A god don't love you
- 1:39:58Speaker 1: because he does. Every bad day you've ever had, all
