- 0:38Speaker 1: let's get this podcast started. My guest is CEO and
- 0:41Speaker 1: co founder AI Innovations. She's a renowned AI strategist, known
- 0:46Speaker 1: as the Queen of AI, entrepreneur and ted X speaker,
- 0:49Speaker 1: with over two decades of experience at the intersection of
- 0:52Speaker 1: artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and business innovation. Please welcome to
- 0:57Speaker 1: the Money Making Conversation Master Class.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Alicia, hey do, I'm so excited to be here. Thank
- 1:02Speaker 2: you so much.
- 1:03Speaker 1: It's probably been about almost two years since I interviewed
- 1:06Speaker 1: your last time. Yes, yeah, and you impressed me so much.
- 1:10Speaker 1: I heard an interview on series XM like one one,
- 1:14Speaker 1: and I tracked you down and I was able to
- 1:15Speaker 1: get you on your show. So in that period, tell
- 1:18Speaker 1: us what's been going on with your career and how
- 1:21Speaker 1: much has AI changed since I interviewed you almost two
- 1:24Speaker 1: years ago.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Their AI has changed so much. There's so many new tools,
- 1:29Speaker 2: and then as business owners were using new strategies and
- 1:32Speaker 2: using AI differently and really leaning into it even more.
- 1:36Speaker 2: For me, I used to do summits every year, you know,
- 1:39Speaker 2: twenty twenty three, twenty twenty four, twenty twenty five, But
- 1:42Speaker 2: in twenty twenty five I started doing it every single
- 1:45Speaker 2: month because people wanted to know, like they couldn't wait
- 1:47Speaker 2: a year anymore. They needed every month and then, so
- 1:51Speaker 2: that's the biggest thing that changed for me is that
- 1:53Speaker 2: I started doing a lot more training and teaching. I
- 1:55Speaker 2: was already doing a lot of speaking and speaking at
- 1:58Speaker 2: events and corporations and that sort of thing, but I've
- 2:00Speaker 2: really gone all in and teaching the entrepreneur and the
- 2:03Speaker 2: small business owner and especially women how we can really
- 2:06Speaker 2: leverage artificial Alicia.
- 2:08Speaker 1: This was the show is my small business owners, nonprofits, entrepreneurs.
- 2:12Speaker 1: When you say training and AI, what exactly you talking about?
- 2:15Speaker 2: Sure, I show them how to use AI. So I
- 2:17Speaker 2: don't just talk about it like this is what artificial
- 2:20Speaker 2: intelligence is. Now, I'm like, open your laptops, open up chat, GBT,
- 2:24Speaker 2: and let me demonstrate to you how you can use it.
- 2:26Speaker 2: And then I want you to use the same prompt
- 2:29Speaker 2: I use. See what results that you've just got. So
- 2:32Speaker 2: what I like to do when I say training, it's
- 2:34Speaker 2: let's do some interactive hands on exercises together so that
- 2:38Speaker 2: you understand how to use AI, because I believe that
- 2:41Speaker 2: if I can show you how to do it, you
- 2:43Speaker 2: see me do it and you're like, oh, she can
- 2:44Speaker 2: do it, and you're like, wow, I can do that too,
- 2:47Speaker 2: and then I'm like, go ahead, do it, try it,
- 2:49Speaker 2: and then you try it and you like I did it.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Now people are more able to say, after I learned
- 2:56Speaker 2: from her, I can keep going, And that's what I
- 2:58Speaker 2: want them to do.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Unslowed this down a little bit for me, you know,
- 3:02Speaker 1: because my staff uses AI for editing, marketing, social media plans,
- 3:09Speaker 1: and in general rewriting. We download our shows. Now we
- 3:15Speaker 1: go to AI and use it to write our summaries
- 3:18Speaker 1: descriptions much more professional. It's turned my company and created
- 3:23Speaker 1: a much more professional output format. Now, when you said
- 3:29Speaker 1: did learning you show them? What are you showing them
- 3:32Speaker 1: that's helping them? Because that's the mental block for me,
- 3:36Speaker 1: is like when I hear professionals like you who know
- 3:39Speaker 1: it so well, but help a dummy like me.
- 3:43Speaker 2: First of all. So what I like to do is
- 3:49Speaker 2: I'll say, let's use this episode an example. So you
- 3:51Speaker 2: take the YouTube link of this episode and I'll say, okay, everybody,
- 3:55Speaker 2: open up notebook LM. It's a Google tool notebook LM
- 3:59Speaker 2: dot Google dot com. And then when you're on notebook ALM,
- 4:02Speaker 2: click on create notebook, click on that plus sign and
- 4:05Speaker 2: then that opens up and you see where that YouTube
- 4:07Speaker 2: button is. Click on that and paste the link to
- 4:10Speaker 2: this episode in there. So they follow that, they paste
- 4:12Speaker 2: the link in and then they see that, oh, now
- 4:15Speaker 2: I have a summary of the episode. And then you
- 4:18Speaker 2: can tell notebook LM create show notes from this, and
- 4:21Speaker 2: it will create the show notes. And then you say,
- 4:24Speaker 2: write seven emails to send out to my list to
- 4:26Speaker 2: tell them to watch this and why a series of
- 4:29Speaker 2: seven And then if you go on the far right
- 4:31Speaker 2: hand side, which is called studio. There's three six, maybe
- 4:36Speaker 2: nine buttons over there. Click every button. It's like, it'll
- 4:39Speaker 2: create a mind map for you. It'll create an audio
- 4:42Speaker 2: overview of the show for you. It will create a
- 4:45Speaker 2: PowerPoint presentation, it will create a video overview, it will
- 4:49Speaker 2: create flash cards, a quiz, a study guide. So you
- 4:51Speaker 2: click on all of that and you see what can
- 4:53Speaker 2: be created, and you're like, wow, you could take this
- 4:55Speaker 2: one episode and repurpose it into all these different these
- 4:59Speaker 2: content ways. So people learn differently. Some people might want
- 5:03Speaker 2: an audio from it, some people might want a summary
- 5:06Speaker 2: in a video format or a quiz, and you'll get
- 5:08Speaker 2: all of that in nopok LM. So I just tell
- 5:10Speaker 2: people step by step, here's the example. Like I said,
- 5:13Speaker 2: here the you know, put the url of this episode,
- 5:16Speaker 2: follow it all the way through, see what's created, and
- 5:19Speaker 2: now do it for whatever you need in your use
- 5:22Speaker 2: case to do it. Now that I've showed you one
- 5:23Speaker 2: way to do it, run and test different. I tell
- 5:27Speaker 2: you about the air.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Tell you was talking. It was like wow, because you
- 5:30Speaker 1: hear so many Let me reference everybody. I'm speaking of
- 5:33Speaker 1: Elasi a little She's the CEO and co found of
- 5:36Speaker 1: AI Innovations. She is known as the Queen of AI.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Before I go to for you to extend that question,
- 5:42Speaker 1: how did you you seem to be? You saw it
- 5:45Speaker 1: coming and you jumped in this lane? Wow.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Yeah. So back in twenty seventeen, I spoke at a
- 5:52Speaker 2: Walmart event. It was called Walmart Tech Live. It's an
- 5:55Speaker 2: internal Walmart event only for their employees. And the speaker
- 5:58Speaker 2: before me, he was fifteen years old at the time,
- 6:01Speaker 2: tanmy Boshki is his name, and he talked about IBM Watson,
- 6:05Speaker 2: which is an AI tool that IBM had fifteen. So
- 6:09Speaker 2: I was paying attention, first of all, because I was
- 6:11Speaker 2: not on stage at an event like that at fifteen,
- 6:14Speaker 2: So I was celebrating him and like paying attention to
- 6:17Speaker 2: every word. I need to pay attention to what this
- 6:19Speaker 2: fifteen year old is saying. And so when I learned
- 6:23Speaker 2: about IBM Watson that day, and I learned that a
- 6:27Speaker 2: computer program had beaten the nation's best jeopardy champions in
- 6:31Speaker 2: a game of Jeopardy. And I saw this computer acting
- 6:34Speaker 2: as if it was a human. I said, oh no,
- 6:36Speaker 2: come on, now, what is this about? And I really
- 6:38Speaker 2: started to get interested in AI, especially its ability to
- 6:43Speaker 2: do things that I only thought was possible for a
- 6:45Speaker 2: human to do. I don't think a computer could play
- 6:48Speaker 2: a game of Jeopardy against two humans, right.
- 6:50Speaker 1: With logic, right to pool and direct.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Answer the questions the right way, and that sort of thing.
- 6:56Speaker 2: So I became really interested, and then shortly I couldn't
- 6:59Speaker 2: use IBM Watson, and then it was too complicated for me.
- 7:02Speaker 2: I don't have a tech background, right, so I come
- 7:04Speaker 2: from the digital marketing space, but my background is environmental
- 7:08Speaker 2: science and geology, and so far away from where I
- 7:12Speaker 2: am now.
- 7:13Speaker 1: There's a lot going on now environ tho science, the geology,
- 7:17Speaker 1: you know, which means that it's a complex logical world
- 7:20Speaker 1: that you were in. You know, well you use word sciences.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Logic is tied to that. But as you build your brand,
- 7:27Speaker 1: you start opening these different layers. What were your peer
- 7:31Speaker 1: groups saying to you, all your industry people saying to you,
- 7:34Speaker 1: because they.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Were not in this lane, right, I mean my business partners,
- 7:39Speaker 2: my sister, and my team, they were very concerned when
- 7:43Speaker 2: back in twenty twenty two I said we're closing this
- 7:45Speaker 2: business completely, pivoting and going all into AI training and
- 7:50Speaker 2: consulting and they were like, what are we talking about here.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Nobody wants to work with AI right now, so why
- 7:56Speaker 2: would you do that? But I said that in the future,
- 7:58Speaker 2: in the near future, it's going to be the most
- 8:01Speaker 2: highest in demand thing, and corporations and businesses are going
- 8:04Speaker 2: to need to know how to integrate AI. So we
- 8:07Speaker 2: need to be the ones to say, hey, we can
- 8:09Speaker 2: show you, we can teach you because we know how
- 8:12Speaker 2: to use AI. And then we started. This was back
- 8:14Speaker 2: in twenty twenty two, as soon as chatchipt came out.
- 8:17Speaker 2: I'd been using tools before that called Jasper and writer,
- 8:21Speaker 2: but when Chatchept came out, it changed the game. Because
- 8:25Speaker 2: of accessibility. There was a free, free version, it was
- 8:28Speaker 2: available for everyone. Everyone could use it, and then the
- 8:31Speaker 2: rate that people started using it, it started to get
- 8:35Speaker 2: international attention. Every new station started talking about it. So
- 8:39Speaker 2: now I felt like, Okay, people are not only going
- 8:42Speaker 2: to want to use this tool, but the other AI
- 8:44Speaker 2: tools that are out there are going to start to compete,
- 8:46Speaker 2: and we're going to be in an AI race war
- 8:48Speaker 2: where all these tools will start competing. But then who's
- 8:51Speaker 2: going to be training all of these businesses on how
- 8:54Speaker 2: to use these tools?
- 8:55Speaker 1: We always hear that the African American community is at
- 8:59Speaker 1: the end of our line, especially in tech space. Now
- 9:01Speaker 1: I'm talking to an African American woman. Yeah, who Phil,
- 9:04Speaker 1: I believe is at the front of the line. How
- 9:06Speaker 1: do you feel about that?
- 9:07Speaker 2: Yeah? Thank you? First of all, thank you. And my
- 9:10Speaker 2: mission really is to make sure that not only does
- 9:12Speaker 2: our community not get left behind, but that we're ahead
- 9:15Speaker 2: of the curve right now. So I'm speaking as much
- 9:19Speaker 2: as I can at every event where black entrepreneurs are
- 9:21Speaker 2: and black business owners saying hey, pay attention and go
- 9:25Speaker 2: all in on this because it will be a game
- 9:27Speaker 2: changer for you. Never has there been a better time
- 9:30Speaker 2: in history. I've been an entrepreneur for twenty six years.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Since my twenty six year never have I seen a
- 9:35Speaker 2: better time for people to start, build or scale a
- 9:37Speaker 2: business than right now. Because if you remember back in
- 9:41Speaker 2: the day, to build a website, it takes a lot
- 9:44Speaker 2: of work to build a website.
- 9:46Speaker 1: They charge a lot of money.
- 9:47Speaker 2: And a lot of money. Now I could build a
- 9:50Speaker 2: website right here in front of you and be done
- 9:52Speaker 2: in three minutes and it would just take me typing in.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Just look at it as it does. All my website
- 10:00Speaker 1: I'll be done in three days. Can you talk about
- 10:03Speaker 1: three minutes?
- 10:05Speaker 2: And three days is still really fast when building with
- 10:08Speaker 2: traditional like that's pretty fast. But usually we have you know,
- 10:12Speaker 2: a usual website agency is going to tell you they
- 10:14Speaker 2: need a month or two to build your website. But
- 10:16Speaker 2: today we can build websites at the speed of typing
- 10:20Speaker 2: in our request to a tool. I use a tool
- 10:22Speaker 2: called Lovable Lovable dot dev to create my websites and
- 10:26Speaker 2: my software tools.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Now you know, first of all, I'm in enjoin this interview.
- 10:30Speaker 1: In some ways, I'm kind of in all of you
- 10:32Speaker 1: because you're just talking so casual about all these tech
- 10:35Speaker 1: lanes that we should all be using. And then but
- 10:39Speaker 1: how do we use them? How do we get in
- 10:41Speaker 1: touch with you? At lastia?
- 10:43Speaker 2: Sure, so I do a summit, a free summit every month.
- 10:46Speaker 2: It's the AI Business Summit, So I would invite everybody
- 10:49Speaker 2: to join that. So the last summit, on day one
- 10:52Speaker 2: when I started off, we had twenty one thousand people watching,
- 10:55Speaker 2: twenty one thousand people watching live on the summit. They
- 10:59Speaker 2: get bigger and bigger.
- 11:01Speaker 1: You need to stop. I'm like, oh, twenty one no,
- 11:05Speaker 1: twenty one thousand people listening to.
- 11:07Speaker 2: You Live Are You Live? And we had a lot
- 11:10Speaker 2: of people coming in and out on that day, but it.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Was a lot hundred lead hundred may come in.
- 11:17Speaker 2: That's incredible and it's completely free. And by doing that,
- 11:20Speaker 2: I really feel like we can empower and teach and
- 11:25Speaker 2: lead the way when it comes to teaching our families
- 11:28Speaker 2: and our communities. So I tell people be on your computer,
- 11:31Speaker 2: so they're on their computer and then they watch me
- 11:33Speaker 2: do something, and then I have them do it, and
- 11:36Speaker 2: then we're off to the races. So we always start
- 11:38Speaker 2: off with something fun. Like one session, everybody turned themselves
- 11:42Speaker 2: into a superhero, so graphic design for thumbnails to get
- 11:46Speaker 2: attention and this sort of stuff. The last one they
- 11:48Speaker 2: turn themselves into a plushy and put their brand name
- 11:51Speaker 2: on it and then they had their plushy dance on stage.
- 11:54Speaker 2: You know. So we do we do fun things to
- 11:56Speaker 2: get people to say, oh, this is cool. I see
- 11:58Speaker 2: how I can use it my business. And then we're like,
- 12:01Speaker 2: let's write emails, let's write sales copies, let's build web pages,
- 12:04Speaker 2: let's build a software to them. So it's AI Business
- 12:07Speaker 2: Summit dot com. It's completely free and I do it
- 12:09Speaker 2: all the time.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Please don't go anywhere. We'll be right back with more
- 12:12Speaker 1: money Making Conversations Masterclass. No, I need for you to
- 12:16Speaker 1: do me a favor right now to follow or subscribe
- 12:19Speaker 1: to money Making Conversation. It's free and you can find
- 12:22Speaker 1: it on the iHeartRadio app, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever
- 12:27Speaker 1: you get your podcasts. Please do me that favor, follow
- 12:31Speaker 1: a subscribe money Making Conversations. Welcome back to money Making
- 12:37Speaker 1: Conversations Masterclass hosted by me Rashaun McDonald. Money Making Conversation.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Masterclass continues online at Moneymaking Conversations dot com and follow
- 12:46Speaker 1: money Making Conversations Masterclass on Facebook, X and Instagram. How
- 12:51Speaker 1: did you get your twenty one thousand people show up
- 12:55Speaker 1: on your brand live? It has to take experience, It's
- 12:58Speaker 1: take credibility. What are do they all start? Because number
- 13:00Speaker 1: when you told your staff AI is coming, they looked
- 13:04Speaker 1: at you and going, we need to talk time.
- 13:06Speaker 2: So yeah. Now it's about scaling the business that we
- 13:10Speaker 2: have and it's about doing as much self promotion as possible.
- 13:15Speaker 2: So when I talk to business owners and entrepreneurs and
- 13:17Speaker 2: say you want a bigger audience, you've got to talk more,
- 13:19Speaker 2: You've got to show up more. I'm always showing up
- 13:23Speaker 2: at summit sessions, radios, interviews and talking about my passion.
- 13:28Speaker 2: And the more that I do that, the more people
- 13:29Speaker 2: that I can attract my summits and I talk about
- 13:32Speaker 2: my mission all the time. It's to help demystify, demystify
- 13:36Speaker 2: artificial intelligence and help people cash in on the AI revolution.
- 13:40Speaker 2: That's it. You want to cash in on the AI revolution,
- 13:42Speaker 2: you need to learn some AI, come to my summit,
- 13:44Speaker 2: and then I'm easy to reach on all social media platforms.
- 13:47Speaker 2: But since the last time we were we did the interview,
- 13:51Speaker 2: I my social media has grown by probably one hundred
- 13:54Speaker 2: thousand on Instagram, yeah, fifty thousand on YouTube. So but
- 14:00Speaker 2: it takes dedication, commitment, and no matter how much AI
- 14:05Speaker 2: I use, it still work. It still works. So it's
- 14:08Speaker 2: that as entrepreneurs and business owners, we have to say
- 14:11Speaker 2: the amount of effort that I put into my business
- 14:14Speaker 2: is a direct result. I see the results on my
- 14:17Speaker 2: bottom line.
- 14:18Speaker 1: So let's talk about it. Alicia, you know, I'm an entrepreneur.
- 14:22Speaker 1: I'm confused. I hear by AI, I hear AI. There
- 14:27Speaker 1: are formats out there, you said, chat, GPT, Yeah, I
- 14:31Speaker 1: think I used copilt a lot because it's tied to
- 14:33Speaker 1: my Microsoft platform. I hear Gemini is themoll?
- 14:37Speaker 2: It is?
- 14:39Speaker 1: How does one make a decision on which one of
- 14:41Speaker 1: these platform? And I'm sure I'm leaving something out? Sure, yeah,
- 14:45Speaker 1: how do you make recommendations? Or you allowed the client
- 14:48Speaker 1: to make the recommendation and you because you're going to
- 14:51Speaker 1: look like you're pushing somebody somewhere because you getting the
- 14:53Speaker 1: side payment or whatever. How does that work? So?
- 14:57Speaker 2: I usually the tools that I folk on, I usually
- 15:00Speaker 2: look and say, is this has this tool been around
- 15:03Speaker 2: for a while, what are the chances that it will
- 15:05Speaker 2: be around for a longer time? What are the investments
- 15:07Speaker 2: looking like into this tool? Who's running the tool? So
- 15:11Speaker 2: that gives me some sense of longevity of the tool, safety,
- 15:15Speaker 2: you know, on the tool. So for example, I love
- 15:18Speaker 2: a tool called Hagen which I use for video cloning.
- 15:22Speaker 2: They used to be called Movio back in twenty twenty
- 15:24Speaker 2: three when I first demoed them, and they've constantly improved,
- 15:28Speaker 2: like constantly improved. So if you're using a tool and
- 15:31Speaker 2: you constantly see the improvements that they're making, you know,
- 15:35Speaker 2: all right, this is someplace that I can invest my
- 15:37Speaker 2: time into learning this tool and using it for my business.
- 15:41Speaker 2: But over the years, I've just formed my toolbox. But
- 15:44Speaker 2: I have tested hundreds, if not thousands of tools AI tools,
- 15:48Speaker 2: testing them all the time and seeing can you knock
- 15:51Speaker 2: out my number one? You know, I'm always looking for
- 15:53Speaker 2: what's better, and especially what the new and upcoming tools
- 15:57Speaker 2: can do. But there are some core tools CHATCHYBT, I
- 16:01Speaker 2: love you mentioned co Pilot great for companies that have
- 16:04Speaker 2: Microsoft three sixty five already. Is not my favorite tool,
- 16:08Speaker 2: but it's great, especially the integration of it. There's Google Gemini,
- 16:12Speaker 2: which Google came out like and open their doors and
- 16:15Speaker 2: they're like, we're here and weren't taking over here? They
- 16:19Speaker 2: did so good, so they have They have amazing tools
- 16:24Speaker 2: Notebook LM that I was telling you about as a
- 16:26Speaker 2: Google tool, and they have Nano Banana that creates great graphics,
- 16:30Speaker 2: and they have vo three which creates great video. They
- 16:33Speaker 2: have study Guide Sports, so they've got a lot of
- 16:35Speaker 2: good tools. I also love Perplexity dot AI. It's a
- 16:39Speaker 2: fantastic research tool.
- 16:41Speaker 1: So it sounds like you're just giving away information.
- 16:46Speaker 2: How are you making money? Well? I also teach people
- 16:50Speaker 2: to do exactly what I do, so I have a
- 16:52Speaker 2: consultant program, and I teach people if you want to
- 16:54Speaker 2: be a consultant like me and go in businesses and
- 16:57Speaker 2: teach them which tools to use, do trainings and stuff
- 16:59Speaker 2: for them. It's a certified program, certified consultant. They can
- 17:03Speaker 2: come and take those programs and they pay me for that.
- 17:05Speaker 2: So you know, my mission is is big. And by
- 17:09Speaker 2: me really getting out my mission and saying hey, I'm
- 17:11Speaker 2: going to demystify AI for you and show you how
- 17:14Speaker 2: to cash in, I pull people in and they're like,
- 17:16Speaker 2: what else do you have to offer?
- 17:17Speaker 1: Right?
- 17:18Speaker 2: Right? And so then I can take them into different
- 17:20Speaker 2: levels where they're getting different types of support. I do
- 17:22Speaker 2: live events in Atlanta all the time, and people pay
- 17:25Speaker 2: to come to those live trainings and bring their laptops.
- 17:28Speaker 2: So I make money on entertaining.
- 17:34Speaker 1: I say it is because I'm being entertained by the
- 17:36Speaker 1: information because it's so important.
- 17:38Speaker 2: It is.
- 17:39Speaker 1: But even in this conversation, I want to go through
- 17:43Speaker 1: I want to be one of the twenty one thousand online.
- 17:45Speaker 1: I want to go see you as a as a
- 17:49Speaker 1: your part entertainer. Part.
- 17:53Speaker 2: No, no, definitely not I'm saying it. I'm not. But
- 17:57Speaker 2: when I think when you have a passion for what
- 17:58Speaker 2: you teach, it becomes fun and easy. And I also
- 18:01Speaker 2: want to make I'm not know.
- 18:03Speaker 1: She's just a passionate person what you do, which is
- 18:06Speaker 1: AI right.
- 18:08Speaker 2: I know you know the entertainment industry so well. So
- 18:10Speaker 2: that is such a compliment.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Because we know any time you go on stage, you
- 18:16Speaker 1: know there's a there's factors. I always tell people, there's
- 18:20Speaker 1: a want, and that's why people follow you. You know,
- 18:23Speaker 1: they feel you can do something that they can't do,
- 18:25Speaker 1: or you do something that makes them feel good. So
- 18:28Speaker 1: when you walk on that stage, you're giving people knowledge
- 18:31Speaker 1: which some people need and some people want to grow
- 18:33Speaker 1: on and go how can I get that that that
- 18:36Speaker 1: that knowledge or that passion or that information that she's delivering.
- 18:40Speaker 1: And when you walk out there in front of a
- 18:42Speaker 1: room full of people, because that's different than being online.
- 18:45Speaker 1: When you walk out there on that stage, what's going
- 18:47Speaker 1: through your mind? And how do you feel and react
- 18:50Speaker 1: to the love?
- 18:51Speaker 2: Yeah, the first thing that I do is like, am
- 18:54Speaker 2: I going to trip in these high heels? No, I'm not.
- 18:56Speaker 2: I'm not. That's a first, But I feel left to
- 19:01Speaker 2: be on the stage in front of all of these people.
- 19:03Speaker 2: The last event that I did in Atlanta. There were
- 19:06Speaker 2: twelve hundred people that came live and we only had
- 19:10Speaker 2: three weeks to put it together. It was a lot
- 19:12Speaker 2: of work, sleepless nights, but I was so grateful that
- 19:16Speaker 2: so many people. How did you get the word out
- 19:19Speaker 2: through the people that come to my Summit's? Hey, if
- 19:21Speaker 2: you want to come, bring your laptop and we have
- 19:22Speaker 2: an event, and so people come, they want to learn.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Here's the thing people want to learn, you know, people
- 19:28Speaker 2: want to learn. And the next thing was I had
- 19:31Speaker 2: fifteen years ago. I had gone through a very difficult divorce.
- 19:34Speaker 2: But the person I was married to at the time
- 19:36Speaker 2: did not want me to be a speaker. He was
- 19:39Speaker 2: a speaker, so he didn't want me to be a speaker.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Oh God's selfish, very very so.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Anyway, one time we were speaking on stage an event
- 19:47Speaker 2: together and the promoters like, I want both of you
- 19:50Speaker 2: to speak. So I spoke first, and I spoke about
- 19:53Speaker 2: Twitter and I was teaching it to real estate investors.
- 19:56Speaker 2: And when I was about to get off stage, when
- 19:58Speaker 2: I was done, I lifted up my husband time and
- 20:00Speaker 2: I was like, if you like me, you're gonna love
- 20:02Speaker 2: my husband. He's coming up next. Because I always believe
- 20:04Speaker 2: lift up the next person right if I shouted him out.
- 20:07Speaker 2: But people came on stage before I could get off stage,
- 20:11Speaker 2: so they came up the stage to ask me questions.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Somebody wanted a picture with me, and it kind of
- 20:16Speaker 2: caught me off guard. You know, they were playing music
- 20:18Speaker 2: during the transition, so they got all the people off
- 20:21Speaker 2: stage so I could leave.
- 20:22Speaker 1: But we dropped.
- 20:25Speaker 2: I had a fun time on stage.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Somebody's followed me.
- 20:31Speaker 2: When I was leaving the stage and my ex husband
- 20:33Speaker 2: was coming up the stage. He looked me in the
- 20:35Speaker 2: face and instead of saying congratulations, he said, there's only
- 20:39Speaker 2: one quarterback on a team, and you will never speak
- 20:41Speaker 2: again and looked me in the face and said that,
- 20:44Speaker 2: and then he kept walking. And you know, I know
- 20:47Speaker 2: the audience sees me, so I have to try to
- 20:51Speaker 2: change my face, try to change my face. And I
- 20:54Speaker 2: was like, you, she should have congratulated me, and I
- 20:57Speaker 2: lifted him up, but he couldn't take the fact to
- 21:00Speaker 2: that I had done well. So my sister was there
- 21:02Speaker 2: watching me, and I come to the back and she's like,
- 21:04Speaker 2: I saw your face. What happened? What did he say
- 21:06Speaker 2: to you? When I told her, and I said, but
- 21:09Speaker 2: any idiot knows there's more than one quarterback on the team,
- 21:12Speaker 2: you know. And then I had called my friend. I
- 21:15Speaker 2: left the room and I call one of my friends
- 21:17Speaker 2: who's a motivational speaker, and I told him about it,
- 21:20Speaker 2: and he, you know, he pulled me back and said,
- 21:23Speaker 2: forget about that. You will be speaking on the best stages.
- 21:26Speaker 2: In fact, people will come to see you speak. So
- 21:28Speaker 2: he was my first speaker at the event that I
- 21:31Speaker 2: had for myself, that friend that I had called, And
- 21:33Speaker 2: when he came out on the stage, unknown to me,
- 21:35Speaker 2: he told that story and he was like, I'm so
- 21:37Speaker 2: proud of her because the last time we talked about
- 21:40Speaker 2: her speaking on stage, this is what her ex husband
- 21:42Speaker 2: had said. And now look at this, twelve hundred people
- 21:44Speaker 2: here to see her and for her to teach them.
- 21:46Speaker 2: So I believe that, you know, the energy that we
- 21:49Speaker 2: put out and what we want to do for people
- 21:51Speaker 2: will always shine. Just we just have to remember to
- 21:54Speaker 2: get away from the people that try to pull us
- 21:56Speaker 2: down sometimes.
- 21:58Speaker 1: I this conversation could be I want to just I'm
- 22:02Speaker 1: going to keep on brand, keep on brand. I brought
- 22:04Speaker 1: you need to educate other people. Okay, now you have organization, harness,
- 22:08Speaker 1: AI powered automation drive innovation and scale impact across industries
- 22:13Speaker 1: such as finance. I want to talk about that, healthcare,
- 22:17Speaker 1: government and entrepreneurship. Let's talk about finance.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Yeah, so in every industry, AI is impacting every industry.
- 22:23Speaker 2: And when we look at the finance industry, we're looking
- 22:26Speaker 2: at how are they using AI. We have some banks
- 22:30Speaker 2: now that have really integrated artificial intelligence into a way
- 22:34Speaker 2: where they have AI agents answering the phone calls and
- 22:38Speaker 2: helping customers before it would ever get to a human. Right,
- 22:42Speaker 2: you don't like the agents.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Right, just let you know, I go zero agent, agent,
- 22:47Speaker 1: agent person.
- 22:49Speaker 2: You're you are talking to the ones that aren't good.
- 22:53Speaker 2: So there are great AI receptionists now. They haven't gone
- 22:56Speaker 2: mainstream yet. We're using them in our business. I have
- 22:59Speaker 2: one and Leslie I have another one, Monica, and Monica
- 23:02Speaker 2: makes me so much money because people call our phone
- 23:07Speaker 2: number and before I had it going to voicemail, and
- 23:10Speaker 2: the voicemail people don't leave messages. But now we have
- 23:13Speaker 2: our average is ninety two percent of people interact with
- 23:16Speaker 2: Monica till the end. Sometimes it's have our director of
- 23:19Speaker 2: business development callback or leaving a message or something for
- 23:22Speaker 2: customer service. But at least people interact with her. But
- 23:25Speaker 2: here's what we do that's different. When our AI receptionists answer,
- 23:29Speaker 2: she says, Hi, I'm Monica, an AI receptionist for at
- 23:31Speaker 2: least ye a little. And so right off the bat,
- 23:34Speaker 2: we're not we're being transparent that she's AI and that
- 23:37Speaker 2: really helps us. But back to the finance. You know,
- 23:39Speaker 2: in every industry people are using it, but also financially
- 23:43Speaker 2: when we look at small businesses and entrepreneurs, we need
- 23:46Speaker 2: to be using it in our own finances as well.
- 23:50Speaker 2: So make sure that you set the tools where you
- 23:52Speaker 2: have a level of security with them. So chat GBT,
- 23:55Speaker 2: go to your settings, click on security, turn on multi
- 23:58Speaker 2: factor authentication. Then go back to settings, click on data
- 24:02Speaker 2: controls and turn off the ability for CHATCHYBT to share
- 24:05Speaker 2: your data with their big model. And now you go
- 24:08Speaker 2: to it and you say, these are my p and
- 24:10Speaker 2: ls from last year, right, what revenue gaps was I missing?
- 24:14Speaker 2: How can I ten x my income? So I've done this,
- 24:18Speaker 2: I do this all the time and it's helped me
- 24:20Speaker 2: go from well, let's just say that I made the
- 24:23Speaker 2: income that I made and the whole year for twenty
- 24:25Speaker 2: twenty four I made in one month in twenty twenty five.
- 24:28Speaker 2: And this is by using artificial intelligence to say what
- 24:31Speaker 2: gaps are I missing? Where do I need to go
- 24:34Speaker 2: based on this information and what you know about me
- 24:36Speaker 2: and these things that I'm doing, and the plans that
- 24:39Speaker 2: it can spit out for you if you follow them.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Because that's the hardest part is then the implementation, like,
- 24:44Speaker 2: let's follow it can be a game changer for small businesses,
- 24:48Speaker 2: the biggest game changer.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Cool, Now let's talk about healthcare.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Yeah, so we're seeing AI in healthcare and all parts
- 24:55Speaker 2: of healthcare, right from the administration part to the tool
- 25:00Speaker 2: that they're using in hospitals now and in private doctor's offices.
- 25:05Speaker 1: And we're seeing so when you say that healthcare, would
- 25:07Speaker 1: you go into the mental side as well, because I
- 25:09Speaker 1: it's a lot of AI agents that are really delivering
- 25:13Speaker 1: health care advice. They mental healthcare advice?
- 25:16Speaker 2: Are they are? I will tell everybody you need to be,
- 25:18Speaker 2: you know, cautious about using AI for mental health care advice,
- 25:22Speaker 2: but go into it knowing that you're using an AI
- 25:25Speaker 2: and just make sure that the settings are you know,
- 25:28Speaker 2: favorable to you, so that you know that if you're
- 25:31Speaker 2: using an AI therapist how that therapist acts and what
- 25:35Speaker 2: data they're trained on and knowledge that they're trained on.
- 25:37Speaker 2: But let's say that somebody is going through something. Sometimes
- 25:40Speaker 2: there's not a human for you to talk to. There's
- 25:42Speaker 2: so many people who struggle and don't have a person
- 25:45Speaker 2: to talk to. But now they're opening up their phone
- 25:48Speaker 2: and they're using AI and we call this conversational AI.
- 25:52Speaker 2: But they're having a conversation with AI to help them
- 25:54Speaker 2: get through something, and so or we call these AI
- 25:58Speaker 2: companions a lot and older people are using AI companions
- 26:01Speaker 2: as well, So it makes a big difference when someone
- 26:06Speaker 2: doesn't have someone to talk to that at least they
- 26:08Speaker 2: have an AI to talk to. And we're going to
- 26:10Speaker 2: see this more and more. This is going to be
- 26:12Speaker 2: a really big.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, because of the fact that you know,
- 26:15Speaker 1: they already got a little robots bringing your stuff around
- 26:18Speaker 1: the city and you see these cars driving around mapping
- 26:22Speaker 1: out and you just hop in the back and to
- 26:23Speaker 1: take you to the airport right now. But the government,
- 26:26Speaker 1: you know, we people always that's what the big fear.
- 26:30Speaker 1: People always talking about AI is going to take my
- 26:32Speaker 1: job right, take my job right. So when I hear
- 26:34Speaker 1: the word government, what role does AI play with people
- 26:38Speaker 1: who feel is going to take their job. Really, if
- 26:40Speaker 1: they tweak their opportunities, they can benefit from AI.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Yeah, so you've packed a lot of things into that
- 26:47Speaker 2: question right there. So let's talk about the government and AI.
- 26:50Speaker 1: First.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Our government is really pushing AI. They want America to
- 26:54Speaker 2: be the number one at AI adoption and AI integration.
- 26:58Speaker 2: And then when you talk about jobs and people losing
- 27:00Speaker 2: their jobs, yes, we're seeing that people will be losing
- 27:04Speaker 2: their jobs. People have lost their jobs. Companies have come
- 27:06Speaker 2: out and said we're laying off those who are not
- 27:08Speaker 2: AI literate to hire people who are, or we've laid
- 27:11Speaker 2: off a group of people because AI can now do that.
- 27:14Speaker 2: So to the person, I say, you need to go
- 27:17Speaker 2: out there and be AI literate, you need to be
- 27:19Speaker 2: AI fluent because right now there are not enough people
- 27:23Speaker 2: that are AI literate and fluent to take all of
- 27:26Speaker 2: the jobs opportunities that are available. In fact, is AI
- 27:30Speaker 2: consultants and strategists. There is a huge crisis right now
- 27:35Speaker 2: where there are not enough AI trainers out there to
- 27:37Speaker 2: help these companies integrate and use these AI tools. So
- 27:41Speaker 2: I'm telling people like, look and see, this is your
- 27:43Speaker 2: second you know, this is your second move, think about
- 27:46Speaker 2: a new career in doing something with AI, or if
- 27:49Speaker 2: you're in a job right now, future proof yourself and
- 27:52Speaker 2: learn artificial intelligence and integrate it into the work that
- 27:55Speaker 2: you're doing and raise your hand in your jobs and
- 27:58Speaker 2: say hey, I've taken AI classes, I'm AI certified, I
- 28:01Speaker 2: know what to do. Let me help. So we've seen
- 28:04Speaker 2: a lot of people do that, who've been put on
- 28:05Speaker 2: AI committees, who are starting AI committees, and they're future
- 28:08Speaker 2: proofing themselves. They're making themselves more valuable. And in the
- 28:12Speaker 2: times that we're in today, we're in an AI revolution.
- 28:14Speaker 2: If you want to make sure that you have a
- 28:17Speaker 2: job or your business is growing, you have to There's
- 28:22Speaker 2: not should I maybe I will later know. You have
- 28:25Speaker 2: to learn how you can leverage AI because those using
- 28:29Speaker 2: AI will replace you, those using AI will as your
- 28:33Speaker 2: competitors will far surpass you. So you need to be
- 28:37Speaker 2: paying attention to things like that.
- 28:38Speaker 1: Well, we started out talking about small businesses and entrepreneurship,
- 28:42Speaker 1: so that's what this whole show is about. If you
- 28:45Speaker 1: had to give some quick steps of an entrepreneur, a
- 28:47Speaker 1: small business owner or nonprofit listeners to this interview, how
- 28:52Speaker 1: do they get in touch at you and what are
- 28:53Speaker 1: the steps to utilize these services at your company?
- 28:57Speaker 2: Yeah, thank you for asking that. The best way to
- 28:59Speaker 2: again with me you can go to my website Elisialittle
- 29:02Speaker 2: dot com and on that contact me form I answer
- 29:06Speaker 2: those that come into my contact.
- 29:07Speaker 1: As she does.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Yes, I got her a L I C I A
- 29:12Speaker 2: L Y T T l E dot com. Also on LinkedIn,
- 29:15Speaker 2: I'm very active Elisi a little and Instagram I'm pretty active.
- 29:18Speaker 2: And then of course my AI Business Summit, which which
- 29:21Speaker 2: the amount of small business owners that have had great
- 29:24Speaker 2: game changing moments from being there is great, so I
- 29:27Speaker 2: always encourage them to come there. And then the different
- 29:30Speaker 2: programs that I offer is everything from free training to certification,
- 29:35Speaker 2: and I have Mastermind groups where we really work with
- 29:38Speaker 2: business owners to teach them how to integrate it specifically
- 29:41Speaker 2: into their business. So we get more into coaching and
- 29:45Speaker 2: integration specifically for them. We also help people write books
- 29:49Speaker 2: with artificial intelligence, so we do a lot, but I'd
- 29:51Speaker 2: say a lot of people start off with joining one
- 29:54Speaker 2: of our summits or sending me a contact us message
- 29:57Speaker 2: and seeing how I can help them.
- 29:59Speaker 1: You say, and one of the questions you will sit
- 30:01Speaker 1: to me is an AI is a human first technology? Yes,
- 30:06Speaker 1: why do you say that?
- 30:07Speaker 2: Yeah, so when we're using artificial intelligence, it's AI plus
- 30:12Speaker 2: human intelligence, right, So the AI plus HI, it's the
- 30:16Speaker 2: human that's using artificial intelligence that can that knows how
- 30:21Speaker 2: to use it well, that can take things to the
- 30:23Speaker 2: next level. Okay, but AI just sitting there, sitting right here, right,
- 30:27Speaker 2: we have chatgypt right here. Let's say it's not doing
- 30:30Speaker 2: anything without me or you telling it what to do.
- 30:35Speaker 2: And the better we are at telling it what to do,
- 30:37Speaker 2: the better results that we get from it that we
- 30:39Speaker 2: can then use to grow, multiply and expand our business.
- 30:43Speaker 2: So we have to make sure that as humans, right
- 30:46Speaker 2: is that we talk now like we have to make
- 30:47Speaker 2: sure that the humans are making sure that they know
- 30:50Speaker 2: how to use the AI. And I foresee in the
- 30:52Speaker 2: near future where work changes. So where we're working, you know,
- 30:57Speaker 2: right now we're working, we're doing our work. Right in
- 31:00Speaker 2: the near future, we're going to be watching AI do
- 31:02Speaker 2: our work for us, and we're going to be managing
- 31:04Speaker 2: and monitoring the AI, and we'll all have AI doing
- 31:07Speaker 2: work for us right at the personal level in our
- 31:10Speaker 2: households and then also at the professional level in our workspaces.
- 31:16Speaker 1: The least here little experience. That's right, I had you
- 31:20Speaker 1: know you've walked me through a journey of AI. I
- 31:24Speaker 1: still don't know what I should know. I still am
- 31:28Speaker 1: in the dark of a lot of things because you
- 31:31Speaker 1: unpacked a lot on this show. But you also told
- 31:33Speaker 1: me where I can go to disseminate all this information
- 31:38Speaker 1: and they very organized and recognizable path to discovery. So
- 31:43Speaker 1: thank you for coming on my show again. Thank you
- 31:46Speaker 1: you always welcome here. You saw it first and I said,
- 31:49Speaker 1: it's so great to see somebody's black who's not at
- 31:53Speaker 1: the end of the line. It's not in the middle
- 31:54Speaker 1: of the pack, but leading the pack. You said so
- 31:57Speaker 1: many impressive things over this show. Thank you for no
- 32:00Speaker 1: Money Making Conversation Master.
- 32:01Speaker 2: Thank you make sure you're on your laptop for the
- 32:03Speaker 2: boot camp. I can't wait to teach you more. Thanks
