- 1:58Speaker 2: Come on, you'll think that, uhhah, I sure will. Good
- 2:02Speaker 2: morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on, dig
- 2:06Speaker 2: me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Well,
- 2:12Speaker 2: I got to tell you something everybody, and this is
- 2:15Speaker 2: great news for everybody that I'm going to share something
- 2:20Speaker 2: with your principal of becoming successful at whatever level you choose.
- 2:27Speaker 2: It can be successful in the relationship, successful in the family.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Successes may be considered to you becoming a homeowner. It
- 2:37Speaker 2: could be being debt free. Your ideal success could be
- 2:42Speaker 2: sixty thousand a year, fifty thousand a year, one hundred
- 2:46Speaker 2: thousand dollars a year. Doesn't matter if you're considering it,
- 2:51Speaker 2: if you're wanting it, if you have a desire to
- 2:54Speaker 2: become successful. I want to share with you the very
- 2:58Speaker 2: beginning of that. If no one's ever done it. I'm
- 3:01Speaker 2: going to say the beginning of it today. See scripture
- 3:08Speaker 2: makes it very clear for us, you don't The only
- 3:13Speaker 2: thing you need to become successful is already inside of you.
- 3:17Speaker 2: It's not an external need. God wouldn't do that to you.
- 3:23Speaker 2: He puts the core basis of everything you need inside
- 3:27Speaker 2: of you. So if you discover it, if you tend
- 3:32Speaker 2: to it, nurture it, fertilize it, and water it, it grows,
- 3:38Speaker 2: it branches out. Then it reaches out externally and it
- 3:41Speaker 2: starts grabbing things outside of there to make it even bigger, stronger, better,
- 3:46Speaker 2: last longer. But in the very beginning, you don't need anything.
- 3:51Speaker 2: It's all within you. And if you cultivate your relationship
- 3:55Speaker 2: with God, it comes out, it flourishes. Now, let me
- 4:00Speaker 2: tell you that thing that I'm talking about is a
- 4:03Speaker 2: God given gift that He has given to all of us.
- 4:07Speaker 2: We all possess it. It is all within us.
- 4:11Speaker 8: Everybody has a gift.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Had somebody told me what I know now back then,
- 4:17Speaker 2: I would have saved myself tons of mistakes. I just
- 4:19Speaker 2: didn't know the principles. I had to learn them all well.
- 4:22Speaker 2: One of the principles are becoming successful is your mindset.
- 4:27Speaker 2: You got to get your mind right now. This mindset
- 4:33Speaker 2: is simply a decision that you can make. I can't
- 4:37Speaker 2: get it for you. I can tell you what to do,
- 4:40Speaker 2: but you got to make the decision. You that's listening,
- 4:43Speaker 2: have to decide. You know what, I'm gonna go on
- 4:46Speaker 2: and get at it. I'm gonna stop wrinting. I'm gonna
- 4:47Speaker 2: become a homeowner. You know what. I'm gonna do it.
- 4:49Speaker 2: I'm gonna stop living check to check. I'm I'm I'm
- 4:53Speaker 2: gonna put a budget together. I'm gonna stop stepping out
- 4:58Speaker 2: on my family. I'm gonna go home. I'm gonna get
- 5:01Speaker 2: it together. I'm gonna stop using when you make these decisions.
- 5:06Speaker 2: That's correcting your mindset. Now, the closer connection you have
- 5:10Speaker 2: with God, the more help you get sustaining the mindset.
- 5:14Speaker 2: How many times have you started to do something and
- 5:17Speaker 2: you stopped? How many resolutions have you made at the
- 5:19Speaker 2: New Year and stopped by February over with by me?
- 5:24Speaker 2: And January done in March? Because if you don't have
- 5:29Speaker 2: a clear connection with your creator to help you carry
- 5:32Speaker 2: out the other force out there, that evil force is
- 5:36Speaker 2: designed to get you not to reach your goals get
- 5:39Speaker 2: you not to come to resolution with whatever the resolutions
- 5:43Speaker 2: are you made, so he can so you can consider
- 5:45Speaker 2: yourself not worthy or failure or unable to do something.
- 5:50Speaker 2: But the more things you are able to accomplish, the
- 5:53Speaker 2: greater your confidence goals grows. So we got to get
- 5:56Speaker 2: your mindset together. Your mindset is a decision that you
- 5:59Speaker 2: have to make. When you make the decision, you can
- 6:01Speaker 2: begin in the process. Your mindset is also a will
- 6:06Speaker 2: of yours, a will along with the decision, A will,
- 6:11Speaker 2: a willingness to do right, a willingness to change, a
- 6:16Speaker 2: willingness to be better. Is going to then cause you
- 6:22Speaker 2: to have to make a decision to make a change
- 6:24Speaker 2: of direction. Don't go where everybody else going. You got
- 6:28Speaker 2: to go your way now. You can't follow the crowd.
- 6:31Speaker 2: You got to take a less travel path. You cannot
- 6:35Speaker 2: do this without changing your direction. You can't keep hanging
- 6:39Speaker 2: with the people you've been hanging with if you want
- 6:40Speaker 2: to be different, because they not. Then you have to
- 6:44Speaker 2: develop an obligation to yourself. You've got to say, you
- 6:49Speaker 2: know what for me and my family, or if you
- 6:52Speaker 2: don't have a family for me, I owe it to myself.
- 6:56Speaker 2: I have an obligation to myself to be the best
- 6:59Speaker 2: meed that I can pay possibly be, To be the
- 7:02Speaker 2: best self that I can possibly be, to be the
- 7:06Speaker 2: best father, the best man, the best husband, the best wife,
- 7:10Speaker 2: the best mother, the best daughter, the best son, the
- 7:14Speaker 2: best student, the best employee, the best owner. You have
- 7:19Speaker 2: an obligation to yourself to give yourself a shot at
- 7:23Speaker 2: the best life you can. That's an obligation. You owe
- 7:27Speaker 2: that to yourself. Why would you not live the best
- 7:30Speaker 2: life that you possibly could? You have an obligation to yourself.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Why would you cheat yourself like that? Why would you
- 7:37Speaker 2: take yourself and never allow yourself to see the goodness
- 7:41Speaker 2: that's already in you, to have the abundance that's been
- 7:45Speaker 2: promised to you, to go and explore all the riches
- 7:51Speaker 2: out there that's available to you. But one of the
- 7:57Speaker 2: worst ways that you can rob yourself of the joy
- 8:00Speaker 2: of your obligation is to keep comparing yourself to somebody else.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Because guess what, Man, that ain't your life. You ain't
- 8:08Speaker 2: jay Z and Beyonce, You're not Oprah. Instead, man, that's
- 8:13Speaker 2: not who you are. Quit looking around at everybody else.
- 8:17Speaker 2: That comparison of everybody else will keep you broken, It'll
- 8:20Speaker 2: keep you unhappy. You won't even be able to be
- 8:23Speaker 2: grateful for what you have because you steady talking about
- 8:26Speaker 2: what you don't have. That's not the way, man. You
- 8:29Speaker 2: have an obligation to yourself to be the best you
- 8:32Speaker 2: you can be, not the best them. You're not them.
- 8:36Speaker 8: Stop trying to be them. Be the best you.
- 8:39Speaker 2: It's cool. You got a nice little house. That's cool.
- 8:42Speaker 2: You know how many big houses is empty and feel
- 8:45Speaker 2: with hate and resentment. I'd rather have a smaller house
- 8:49Speaker 2: fill with joy in it than to go to a
- 8:52Speaker 2: big house. Man. Prince got a line in the song
- 8:54Speaker 2: that says, I realized, in its best disguised, a pretty
- 8:59Speaker 2: house don't make a home. Man. Don't you know I
- 9:04Speaker 2: know how true that is? So I'm just trying to
- 9:08Speaker 2: tell you now. Another part of the mindset is taking
- 9:13Speaker 2: dead aim at your life's goals and ambitions. What are they?
- 9:19Speaker 2: What are your goals and your visions?
- 9:22Speaker 9: What do you see for yourself? What do you dream about?
- 9:25Speaker 2: If you knew you couldn't fail at whatever it is
- 9:27Speaker 2: you were attempting, what would you go attempt? See? That's
- 9:30Speaker 2: what we need to be after. It's a mindset y'all.
- 9:34Speaker 2: It's a decision. It's a will, it's a change of direction.
- 9:39Speaker 2: It's an obligation to yourself. It's taking dead aim at
- 9:42Speaker 2: your life's visions and goals. Come on, man, you got
- 9:46Speaker 2: to get your mind wrapped around this thing. You owe
- 9:48Speaker 2: it to yourself to live the best life you can be.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Come on, man, talk to God. God got something for you.
- 9:54Speaker 2: You just got to check in with him.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Your listenings to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to the riot Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Fill with nothing but gratitude this morning, letting you all
- 10:09Speaker 2: know and reminding you of the fact that God is
- 10:12Speaker 2: in the blessed business.
- 10:13Speaker 8: Put your faith in God, y'all.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Don't let this administration and all these politics and all
- 10:18Speaker 2: this that they got going on man, mess your day
- 10:21Speaker 2: up because it has a tendency to do that. Trust
- 10:25Speaker 2: in God. He is the Way, the Truth, and the light. Yeah,
- 10:29Speaker 2: He's got answers to all your problems. Talk to yourself,
- 10:32Speaker 2: Steve Harvey, talk to yourself.
- 10:34Speaker 8: This is how we do it, visus, how we do it.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Just do that in there for something anyway, Shirley Strawberry
- 10:45Speaker 2: call it for real Mississippi Monica Junior to come back

- 11:07Speaker 2: No, no, he said that. Soon you're asking the Lord lot. Yeah,

- 11:20Speaker 2: He just made you. He made a lot of people. Ah, looking,
- 11:24Speaker 2: don't worry about it, stayed a lot of people.
- 11:29Speaker 9: God, God know I'm not cute.

- 11:35Speaker 2: Ain't.
- 11:35Speaker 8: Nobody never told you you one of them?

- 12:04Speaker 9: I'm talking about that one day?
- 12:06Speaker 8: Have I ever told you that I heard anybody say

- 22:05Speaker 1: Try and leave. Use as directed for minor aches and pains.
- 22:09Speaker 13: Coming up at the top of the hour in Entertainment
- 22:12Speaker 13: News will recap the weekend and cover the headline stories,
- 22:15Speaker 13: of course and trending topics. That is all coming up
- 22:17Speaker 13: at the top of the hour, But right now it
- 22:20Speaker 13: is time to ask the clo our chief Love Officer,
- 22:24Speaker 13: Steve Harvey.
- 22:25Speaker 1: This is from Scharis and Pensacola.
- 22:27Speaker 13: Charis says, I fired one of my stylists, one of
- 22:30Speaker 13: the stylists at my salon, after she posted a picture
- 22:33Speaker 13: with my husband. My other two stylists think I should
- 22:36Speaker 13: check my husband instead of firing my best hairstylist. My
- 22:40Speaker 13: husband said he saw my stylist at a lounge and
- 22:43Speaker 13: took a picture to be nice. It's messy, so I
- 22:46Speaker 13: eliminated the problem. Did I overreact?
- 22:50Speaker 2: Fired up?
- 22:52Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 22:55Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 22:55Speaker 8: What Now, let me ask you something.
- 22:56Speaker 2: When she says she fired the stylist, that means the
- 22:59Speaker 2: stylist work that her salon.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah yeah, she's the owner, her best stylist.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Yeah yeah. I think you definitely overreacted because your husband
- 23:10Speaker 2: took the picture.
- 23:13Speaker 13: And that's what her stylists are saying. Why didn't she
- 23:15Speaker 13: go after her husband instead of the style.
- 23:18Speaker 2: I don't see how you think you've eliminated the problem.
- 23:21Speaker 1: I think she has.
- 23:22Speaker 10: I wonder where her hands was on that picture when
- 23:25Speaker 10: they were taking that picture. Her hands tailed loud.
- 23:28Speaker 2: They was out a lounge and they saw each other
- 23:30Speaker 2: and they took a picture, and then she posted it.
- 23:34Speaker 2: That's kind of crazy. If you know that's your boss's husband.
- 23:37Speaker 2: I wouldn't have posted that picture. Y'all post too much.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Well that's what you get for posting it. Thanks by
- 23:43Speaker 2: now you ain't got no job now, yeah.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Yeah, told yo? All right?
- 23:49Speaker 13: Moving on to Jerome and Trenton, Jerome writs, my girlfriend's
- 23:53Speaker 13: twenty six year old son lives with her. I stayed
- 23:56Speaker 13: with her last night and her son put my car
- 23:58Speaker 13: on the street. He didn't ask me first, He got
- 24:01Speaker 13: my keys and moved it. My girl said, it's not
- 24:04Speaker 13: a big deal. How do I set boundaries with this
- 24:07Speaker 13: grown man?
- 24:09Speaker 2: Wait a minute, man, the boy lived at you left
- 24:14Speaker 2: your car in the driveway. Could it have been blocking
- 24:18Speaker 2: him from doing something? He put your car on the street.
- 24:21Speaker 2: But he ain't say so, who is she asking for?
- 24:24Speaker 1: He didn't ask.
- 24:25Speaker 8: Okay, he ain't got the ass.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Let's take your Rose Roy that's sitting in the driveway
- 24:31Speaker 2: and somebody.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Moved put it on the street.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Well, first of all, I ain't gonna be over nobody
- 24:40Speaker 2: at mama house in the back sleeping wid her while
- 24:44Speaker 2: it's a twenty six year old.
- 24:45Speaker 8: Another man in the.
- 24:46Speaker 1: House a whole lot, ain't that's her son? And I'm not.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Driving the rose Roys over where it's got a driveway
- 24:55Speaker 2: that ain't.
- 24:56Speaker 8: Ain't none of this making no sense?
- 24:58Speaker 5: Right?
- 25:00Speaker 1: Yeah? I don't.
- 25:03Speaker 2: If you don't block.
- 25:04Speaker 8: Somebody in uh, you know driveway? Got that one in,
- 25:09Speaker 8: one out?
- 25:10Speaker 2: This is a one car driveway. Sound like, oh yeah,
- 25:15Speaker 2: ain't nothing wrong with the driveway. You can't pull up
- 25:18Speaker 2: and be the last car in it. You see them
- 25:23Speaker 2: cars up there, you get out and take your keys.
- 25:26Speaker 1: But Jeroma is mad because the young man just took
- 25:30Speaker 1: his car, moved it and didn't ask him any questions, didn't,
- 25:33Speaker 1: you know, just took the keys.
- 25:35Speaker 2: That's why he's so who is the lady wanting to
- 25:38Speaker 2: check her son or the boyfriend?
- 25:40Speaker 13: But the A man wrote this? A man wants to check.
- 25:46Speaker 13: He wants to know should he set boundaries with the
- 25:49Speaker 13: grown man.
- 25:53Speaker 1: What to do his house? Yeah?
- 25:55Speaker 2: Are you crazy?
- 26:00Speaker 1: So he wants to set boundaries and tell the sun? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 26:05Speaker 5: No.
- 26:06Speaker 2: You can't say this man drying way huh, I can't
- 26:12Speaker 2: mess around. Okay, all right, moving the relationship is over.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Catherine and Frisco.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Uh right.
- 26:24Speaker 13: The next one, she says, my husband overheard me telling
- 26:27Speaker 13: my sister that I'm never in the mood for sex anymore.
- 26:30Speaker 13: He asked if I've been faking it, and I admitted
- 26:33Speaker 13: this sometimes I do. He has been pouting for days,
- 26:36Speaker 13: even after I told him it's a female thing.
- 26:39Speaker 1: How do I fix this?
- 26:41Speaker 2: Oh, you can't unless you gonna just unless you gonna
- 26:46Speaker 2: start just you know, doing some real tricky stuff. High heels,
- 26:51Speaker 2: trench coat and nothing on. And then when you come
- 26:53Speaker 2: through the door hard that's you know, heels, you know,
- 26:59Speaker 2: acting like cleaning under the bed, all this shit there.
- 27:02Speaker 1: You gotta do all your buts out.
- 27:05Speaker 2: She's faking it though, bough, Well, you gotta do something
- 27:09Speaker 2: that don't ain't fake it. Try to get him back,
- 27:12Speaker 2: she said.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Sometimes she does fake it. Yeah, and he's been mad
- 27:17Speaker 1: about it for days.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Yeah, he should have known.
- 27:21Speaker 8: I told y'all about this truth. I'm told y'all.
- 27:26Speaker 1: So what are you saying? She she should have lied
- 27:28Speaker 1: to her wanna have.
- 27:30Speaker 2: A happy bag? You have gosh to lie.
- 27:35Speaker 8: I don't know how many times I got to tell
- 27:36Speaker 8: you all that, but he would go with this whole
- 27:38Speaker 8: truth again.
- 27:39Speaker 1: I'm just tell you how.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Yeah, fake it.
- 27:45Speaker 8: You're not already faked it, so just go on and
- 27:47Speaker 8: finish it up.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Lie. It's always the faking is a lie, you're saying,
- 27:52Speaker 1: So finish the lie on out write it? Uh huh.
- 27:56Speaker 2: Writing's good.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, right, last one. So that's how she
- 28:02Speaker 1: can fix it, you're saying, with the high heels and
- 28:06Speaker 1: all that.
- 28:06Speaker 13: Oh yeah, all less, Oh all all right, Catherine, you
- 28:11Speaker 13: have your marching orders.
- 28:13Speaker 1: All right, Last one, Steve, last one.
- 28:15Speaker 13: Donald in Lexington writes, I let my wife have an
- 28:20Speaker 13: edible for the first time, and an hour later she
- 28:23Speaker 13: started talking about her first love in front of our first.
- 28:27Speaker 2: It can happen, It can happen.
- 28:29Speaker 1: What I thought I was. I thought I was her
- 28:34Speaker 1: first love.
- 28:35Speaker 2: So I was done.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Oh we have been married for fourteen years. So why
- 28:40Speaker 1: am I just finding this out?
- 28:43Speaker 2: She gave her edible? Yeah that's a truth teller.
- 28:52Speaker 8: Is why am I just finding this out? Because you
- 28:56Speaker 8: just not gave her to weed?
- 29:01Speaker 1: Wow? So you can't.
- 29:03Speaker 14: So so she lied to him because he thought it
- 29:06Speaker 14: was he thought he was her first love. When she
- 29:10Speaker 14: came back down, she didn't know nothing about what she said.
- 29:13Speaker 14: I'm just telling yep.
- 29:15Speaker 1: So how are they didn't work? Did not?
- 29:18Speaker 2: Did not?
- 29:20Speaker 1: And lie?
- 29:23Speaker 2: Blame it on the high.
- 29:24Speaker 1: So he's gonna ask her about this. He gave her
- 29:26Speaker 1: the edible.
- 29:28Speaker 8: Edibles make me lie?
- 29:30Speaker 2: Yeah, that ain't all they make you do.
- 29:34Speaker 1: But she said it in front of their friends. He
- 29:38Speaker 1: was embarrassed.
- 29:40Speaker 8: Why did you give me this?
- 29:43Speaker 1: Right? And he said, I let my wife have an edible?
- 29:47Speaker 8: Well did she let you have it?
- 29:52Speaker 1: She did?
- 29:54Speaker 8: Are we letting today?
- 29:56Speaker 1: Oh that's what we're doing.
- 29:57Speaker 8: That's what we let the cut out?
- 30:01Speaker 2: Wow?
- 30:02Speaker 13: But you would you be mad about that? Something that
- 30:05Speaker 13: happened fourteen over fourteen years ago.
- 30:09Speaker 2: No, if that was at first, they was just dating
- 30:11Speaker 2: back then, you know. Now if you tell me I
- 30:14Speaker 2: was the first and then to find out I was
- 30:16Speaker 2: number thirty six and stuff like that.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Right, thank you, Colo.
- 30:23Speaker 13: Coming up at the top of the hour, we will
- 30:24Speaker 13: have some entertainment news for you right after this.
- 30:29Speaker 1: You're listening Dave Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:36Speaker 13: TSA officers are set to receive paychecks by today or tomorrow,
- 30:40Speaker 13: following an emergency executive action by President Donald Trump to
- 30:45Speaker 13: fund the agency during the ongoing ongoing Department of Homeland
- 30:49Speaker 13: Security shutdown. DHS was instructed to use pre existing funds
- 30:55Speaker 13: to pay close to fifty thousand TSA employees who have
- 30:59Speaker 13: been working without pay since February fourteenth.
- 31:03Speaker 1: It's a long time. While the pay is expected to
- 31:06Speaker 1: start flowing again, long lines and staffing shortages are expected
- 31:09Speaker 1: to continue.
- 31:10Speaker 13: For about another week or two. They say, give it
- 31:12Speaker 13: about another week or two. ICE agents deployed to assisted
- 31:16Speaker 13: airport checkpoints may remain at airports until staffing stabilizes.
- 31:21Speaker 1: So it's about time. It's been a minute, like six
- 31:23Speaker 1: weeks or so. Valentine, Yeah, it's been a long time.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, my thought on that is this. If
- 31:30Speaker 2: you had the power to sign an eat pen and
- 31:32Speaker 2: just pay the people, you should have did it in
- 31:34Speaker 2: the beginning. But let's just tell the truth of the matter.
- 31:39Speaker 2: All of this was tied together to make sure that
- 31:43Speaker 2: the funding for homeland security. It included a budget that
- 31:47Speaker 2: covered ice, you know, immigration laws and stuff like that.
- 31:51Speaker 2: All of that stuff was rolled in it. That's why
- 31:53Speaker 2: the Republicans were fighting so hard about it.
- 31:56Speaker 5: Now.
- 31:56Speaker 2: They had a joint proposal, a bipartisan proposal presented about
- 32:01Speaker 2: a week ago almost, and when it got to Mike Johnson,
- 32:05Speaker 2: he shot it down because it didn't include what the
- 32:09Speaker 2: President wanted, because he want the America Act. You know,
- 32:12Speaker 2: it was tied up to that you have to be
- 32:14Speaker 2: a US citizen to vote that Act, but it had
- 32:16Speaker 2: of course you do, but that had a lot of
- 32:18Speaker 2: stuff in it too, about ID checks and confirmation at
- 32:22Speaker 2: the polls and all like that. So they turned it down.
- 32:25Speaker 2: If President Trump had the ability to do this, he
- 32:29Speaker 2: could have did this a long time ago.
- 32:31Speaker 1: Well yeah, I mean, you know, thank god, they're going
- 32:34Speaker 1: to get paid. I guess that's the bottom line. Yeah,
- 32:37Speaker 1: and he should have your absolutely right, Steve. But I'm
- 32:39Speaker 1: just happy that they're going to get paid and all
- 32:42Speaker 1: these lines and everything and this travel headache.
- 32:44Speaker 2: Yeah, but you know what, y'all we can't ignore. Okay, wow,
- 32:49Speaker 2: they finally got paid. Good. No, the root and cause
- 32:52Speaker 2: of the problem is the politics that we keep playing
- 32:55Speaker 2: with these people's lives in this country. When Doge was
- 32:58Speaker 2: created and he created his boy Elon Musk, and he
- 33:01Speaker 2: came in there, we're trying to pay fifty thousand tsa people.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Don't you know that they cut way more when Elon
- 33:08Speaker 2: Musk was in office. So if you made all those cuts, where's.
- 33:12Speaker 9: All that money money at?
- 33:14Speaker 1: Did you line your own pockets with it?
- 33:16Speaker 2: Where is it?
- 33:17Speaker 1: Course?
- 33:17Speaker 7: Yes?
- 33:18Speaker 2: Crazy man, it's crazy what we're sitting here and allowing
- 33:22Speaker 2: to be done.
- 33:23Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 33:23Speaker 2: And we're allowing it because well, first of all, seventy
- 33:26Speaker 2: million people voted for this man. Okay, cool, he the president.
- 33:30Speaker 2: But man, do you see now how they do there's
- 33:34Speaker 2: no more democracy?
- 33:38Speaker 13: You're right, And the bottom line is, don't let this
- 33:42Speaker 13: frustrate you and get you in a mode of I
- 33:45Speaker 13: don't care. They're going to do what they want to
- 33:46Speaker 13: do anything anyway, And all of that apathy you have
- 33:50Speaker 13: to vote this should make you want to vote even more,
- 33:54Speaker 13: and these elections are coming up this year, so let's
- 33:57Speaker 13: do what we got to do. Let's register, let's get
- 33:59Speaker 13: to the polls. People, please, all right, We're going to
- 34:03Speaker 13: move on and talk about Saturday's No King's protest. It
- 34:06Speaker 13: was the largest nationwide day of action, with an estimated
- 34:11Speaker 13: eight to nine million people participating in over thirty three
- 34:16Speaker 13: hundred events across all fifty states. No King's protests were
- 34:20Speaker 13: aimed at protesting President Trump's policies, perceived authoritarianism and king
- 34:26Speaker 13: like misuse of his executive power.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Okay, you were elected by the people. You are not
- 34:32Speaker 1: the King of the United States.
- 34:34Speaker 2: Okay.
- 34:35Speaker 13: Protesters rallied against the war in Iran, rising living costs,
- 34:40Speaker 13: and ice operations. The White House dismissed the No King's
- 34:43Speaker 13: protest as quote leftist initiatives. But it was more than that.
- 34:49Speaker 13: At the protests.
- 34:50Speaker 1: It's Republicans, it's the Democrats, it's everybody at these protests,
- 34:54Speaker 1: you know.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, I mean again, it's what we're being allowed.
- 35:00Speaker 2: We're being fed what to think because we want to
- 35:04Speaker 2: continue the democracy that this country is supposedly have had
- 35:09Speaker 2: this whole time. And I do say supposedly, you won't
- 35:12Speaker 2: to even throw that out the window. So we're gonna
- 35:15Speaker 2: stop pretending like you have rights anymore. We're just gonna
- 35:18Speaker 2: cut all that out. We're gonna stop making your vote matter.
- 35:22Speaker 2: We're gonna stop who you put in Congress and Senate,
- 35:25Speaker 2: and we're gonna do just what this one man wants
- 35:28Speaker 2: to be done. The problem that the one man is
- 35:32Speaker 2: having is you still become the president for the people
- 35:36Speaker 2: who didn't vote for you. That's the people, and it's

- 36:25Speaker 13: for accidentally reposting a compiracy theory about the former First
- 36:30Speaker 13: Lady Chile faced backlash for allegedly re sharing a post
- 36:35Speaker 13: on her Instagram story that featured an untrue, transphobic conspiracy
- 36:39Speaker 13: theory claiming Michelle Obama was not born a female and
- 36:42Speaker 13: had registered to vote as a man.
- 36:44Speaker 1: I mean this is crazy. Chile apologized. She said she
- 36:47Speaker 1: would never want to hurt any woman, especially Michelle Obama.
- 36:52Speaker 1: Come on, wow, coming up a twenty minutes step out, well,
- 36:59Speaker 1: she said, her fingers slipped on the computer. She's not

- 37:57Speaker 13: On a recent episode of his podcast, Nick Cannon stated
- 38:01Speaker 13: that quote, he f's with Trump.
- 38:02Speaker 1: That's what he said.
- 38:03Speaker 13: Nick was talking with Amber Rose, who also f's with Trump.
- 38:08Speaker 13: She's a huge Trump supporter, and he noted that he
- 38:11Speaker 13: and amber Rose share the same conservative views. Nick praised
- 38:15Speaker 13: Trump by saying, mother effort is cleaning house, and he's.
- 38:19Speaker 1: Doing what he said he was going to do.
- 38:22Speaker 13: Nick slammed the Democratic Party, calling them the party of
- 38:25Speaker 13: the KKK, and he agreed with the sentiment that Democrats
- 38:29Speaker 13: do not care about people of color, while arguing that
- 38:32Speaker 13: Republicans do. Despite his praise for Trump, Nick clarified that
- 38:36Speaker 13: he does not subscribe to either party. He's neither a
- 38:41Speaker 13: Democrat or Republican. So here's a question. Do you think
- 38:44Speaker 13: anyone takes Nick Cannon seriously about this? Is he fluential,
- 38:48Speaker 13: influential to anyone in any way?
- 38:50Speaker 1: Well, I didn't know. He felt like that, I.
- 38:53Speaker 8: Don't care who you are. When you go online, you're
- 38:56Speaker 8: going to find somebody.
- 38:57Speaker 2: To agree with you.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't care who you are.
- 39:00Speaker 2: I don't really what you say. If you go online
- 39:02Speaker 2: hate Trump, you're gonna find support. If you go on
- 39:05Speaker 2: there and love him and support him and say he's
- 39:07Speaker 2: the greatest president ever, you're gonna find support. I'm I'm
- 39:10Speaker 2: a little surprised at him a little bit, but you know, Nick,
- 39:17Speaker 2: Nick's kind of done this before. You know, he's He's
- 39:20Speaker 2: made some comments on these podcasts at him, really gotten
- 39:25Speaker 2: him in a in a little bit of bad shape.
- 39:29Speaker 10: You know, But show me something. Where where do the
- 39:32Speaker 10: Republicans support black people? So maybe he right, I don't
- 39:35Speaker 10: know what I'm talking about. Where this to do with that?
- 39:40Speaker 1: Now?
- 39:42Speaker 9: All this about child's port, Trump trial support, that's it.
- 39:49Speaker 1: This is all Nick Folk.
- 39:50Speaker 16: I understand we got a lot of children I support
- 39:56Speaker 16: Trump with Trump making them payments down?
- 40:01Speaker 2: Is that really a child support bill?
- 40:04Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 40:05Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, huh yeah.
- 40:07Speaker 16: He's there to pass the child's Port bill to where
- 40:10Speaker 16: me and that pay child's port claim all the kids.
- 40:12Speaker 9: That's what Nick is at.
- 40:16Speaker 1: Well, then it makes sense now what he's saying. It
- 40:18Speaker 1: makes sense, although he says he's an either Republican nor Democrat.
- 40:22Speaker 1: But yeah, if the Republicans passed the bill, then I guess.
- 40:25Speaker 9: He will be You got forty kids. You need this bill.
- 40:29Speaker 10: So held with truck because he elked with Trump because
- 40:33Speaker 10: of all his effort.
- 40:34Speaker 17: Is that where basically, if you want to break it
- 40:40Speaker 17: all the way down, there was a lot of that
- 40:44Speaker 17: going on.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Yeah, a lot of that going on. Yeah, I'm taking
- 40:48Speaker 1: it down to thirty dollars a month.
- 40:52Speaker 2: Well, all of the black of all the black celebrities
- 40:56Speaker 2: that you see supporting Trump, they're all in in that
- 41:00Speaker 2: same level, that same group. What do you mean, amber Rose?
- 41:08Speaker 2: Nick nick all.
- 41:10Speaker 1: Kind of all right, coming up, we'll have more of
- 41:13Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.

- 47:54Speaker 4: Thank you?
- 47:54Speaker 12: I'm getting married in September.
- 47:56Speaker 5: Well, congratulations to thank you. Listen. I don't know how
- 47:59Speaker 5: to tell you this now. As towards the appraisal, this concern.
- 48:02Speaker 5: I've looked at your ring over and over and this
- 48:07Speaker 5: ring is probably worth maybe fifty dollars.
- 48:10Speaker 3: Excuse me.
- 48:13Speaker 5: I've been in this business for over twenty years, but.
- 48:15Speaker 2: You know what.
- 48:16Speaker 12: I'm confused on what you just said.
- 48:18Speaker 5: And I understand that. What I'm trying to explain to
- 48:19Speaker 5: you is that I've been in this business for over
- 48:21Speaker 5: twenty years. I've seen so many different pieces of jewelry
- 48:24Speaker 5: and this is something that that you buy late night
- 48:28Speaker 5: on an infomercial for nineteen ninety nine. This is a
- 48:31Speaker 5: Cubic Zconian stone and the gold is not real at all.
- 48:36Speaker 12: It's like cool, wait, wait, you lost me. You lost
- 48:39Speaker 12: me as much money as my fandmake, and as much
- 48:42Speaker 12: money as my father is putting down on his wedding
- 48:45Speaker 12: or has put down and you.
- 48:47Speaker 5: I understand everything you're saying, but Denise, honestly.
- 48:50Speaker 4: What I need you to do is hold on.
- 48:51Speaker 12: Wait wait, I need you to hold on because we
- 48:55Speaker 12: need to call victims.
- 48:56Speaker 5: Wait wait man. First of all, I can't well wait
- 48:59Speaker 5: wait wait, hold on wait wait wait what are you
- 49:07Speaker 5: trying to what you trying to.
- 49:08Speaker 12: Do, sir? I need I need you to repeat what
- 49:12Speaker 12: you just said to me.
- 49:13Speaker 5: Okay, that's personal stuff, man, you oh you're in it.
- 49:18Speaker 12: It's personal now.
- 49:19Speaker 3: Why need you to hold on?
- 49:20Speaker 12: Okay?
- 49:22Speaker 5: Oh she called her man? Okay, thanks, thank.
- 49:26Speaker 3: Thank hello victim.
- 49:29Speaker 12: We listen to this zilla that's on the phone.
- 49:31Speaker 6: I want you to hear it that he just told me,
- 49:33Speaker 6: what's what's the problem?
- 49:34Speaker 12: What you mean, what's the problem. He's gonna tell you
- 49:35Speaker 12: what the problem is, gonna hit on, sir, gon hit on?
- 49:38Speaker 10: Who?
- 49:39Speaker 3: Hello, Yeah, who is this?
- 49:41Speaker 5: My name is Gavin. I'm from Diamonds. And actually your wife,
- 49:45Speaker 5: I mean where your fiance. Rather, she brought her ring
- 49:47Speaker 5: in to actually be resized, and we we also did
- 49:51Speaker 5: an appraisal on the ring for her, and actually the
- 49:55Speaker 5: ring is estimated to be only in the work of
- 49:58Speaker 5: around fifty dollars.
- 50:00Speaker 3: See dollars, see dollars fifty that's what the man said,
- 50:03Speaker 3: Hey dollars, sir. Obviously there's some sort of mistake, sir.
- 50:08Speaker 12: Now what you got to say about that big hold
- 50:10Speaker 12: on fifty dollars?
- 50:11Speaker 3: That's that's got to be some kind of mistake. So
- 50:13Speaker 3: what'd you say your name was, sir?
- 50:15Speaker 5: My name is Gavin. I work here at Diamonds. I'm
- 50:17Speaker 5: the here jeweler here. I've been here for twenty years.
- 50:19Speaker 3: And there's no way that that ring is worth fifty dollars.
- 50:23Speaker 3: I know what I paid for it. So obviously there's
- 50:25Speaker 3: some sort of mistake. There's not a mistake. I've been
- 50:29Speaker 3: dealing with jewelry.
- 50:29Speaker 5: I've seen it. I can pretty much look at a ring,
- 50:32Speaker 5: but I actually went into detail on this one, as
- 50:35Speaker 5: I do all of them. And Sir, I promise you
- 50:37Speaker 5: this is probably maybe between forty and fifty dollars before
- 50:41Speaker 5: as workers got.
- 50:42Speaker 3: No, absolutely not. That's that's impossible.
- 50:44Speaker 12: How is that impossible? He's a jeweler. You heard him say,
- 50:47Speaker 12: You've been doing it for twenty years. Is that impossible.
- 50:50Speaker 12: I don't want to man all the money that my
- 50:52Speaker 12: daddy putting down on this wedding. And you don't pay
- 50:54Speaker 12: fifty dollars.
- 50:55Speaker 3: So you bought a cheap ring, sir, Oh no, no, no,
- 50:58Speaker 3: I did not buy a TV. This is this is
- 51:01Speaker 3: this is obviously some kind of mistake. You didn't got it.
- 51:03Speaker 12: You got that right, you show got that right. So
- 51:06Speaker 12: what you got to say for yourself this dollard?
- 51:09Speaker 3: You can't I believe that that's right, that this is obviously.
- 51:12Speaker 12: Some kind of Oh, it is a mistake, a mistake.
- 51:15Speaker 12: And thinking I'm gonna get married to the man of
- 51:17Speaker 12: my dream.
- 51:18Speaker 5: I do have the engagement ring that was purchased and
- 51:20Speaker 5: bought for your wife.
- 51:22Speaker 3: No, I don't think you I don't think you do.
- 51:23Speaker 3: I don't think you have my rings, because if you
- 51:25Speaker 3: have my ring, you wouldn't be telling me this worth
- 51:26Speaker 3: fifty dollars. I have the ring that your wife that
- 51:30Speaker 3: your brought his wife. Yet, held on, hold on the
- 51:33Speaker 3: man trying to explain, I'm trying to get you about it.
- 51:37Speaker 3: Thank you, So you have I don't think he has
- 51:39Speaker 3: the right ring.
- 51:40Speaker 5: I have the right ring. And what I'm letting you know, sir,
- 51:43Speaker 5: is that this is something you buy on an infomercial
- 51:45Speaker 5: in two o'clock.
- 51:47Speaker 3: Dude, you don't.
- 51:49Speaker 1: Like that.
- 51:50Speaker 3: I ain't bout a ring on infomercial. I bought the
- 51:52Speaker 3: ring from a reputable establishment. I have the receipt, I
- 51:56Speaker 3: have the certificate. So obviously the mistake is on your
- 52:00Speaker 3: Where are you the mistakers out here say you bought
- 52:02Speaker 3: a piece of jump?
- 52:03Speaker 12: Mister he's been doing it all these years. Hoigh, Hell,
- 52:05Speaker 12: he's gonna make it.
- 52:06Speaker 3: Say you come off telling me I bought a piece
- 52:09Speaker 3: of jump. I know what I bought. If there's any
- 52:11Speaker 3: mistakes that's been made, it's on your end, where it's
- 52:13Speaker 3: not on my end. Here, Hold, don't we don't words,
- 52:17Speaker 3: don't raise.
- 52:19Speaker 12: If you want to think that my dad has paid
- 52:21Speaker 12: too much money for this wedding, but you don't, I'll
- 52:23Speaker 12: take six dollar on dollars, but dollar'll wing you wait
- 52:25Speaker 12: till I tell him this.
- 52:27Speaker 3: Chill hold on. First of all, I don't appreciate you.
- 52:29Speaker 3: I want to tell you this. This is a typical
- 52:31Speaker 3: case of you're trying to pawn it off on us
- 52:33Speaker 3: because for fifty bucks.
- 52:36Speaker 12: The money to two dollars on make and I get
- 52:38Speaker 12: fifty dollars worth of a.
- 52:39Speaker 3: Ring, Denise, hold on, let me talk to this. Where
- 52:41Speaker 3: are you calling me?
- 52:42Speaker 12: Get talking?
- 52:42Speaker 3: Get I ain't never heard of it? Where is so?
- 52:47Speaker 3: Your wife knows exactly way and she's the one that
- 52:49Speaker 3: brought the ring here. I'll tell you what. I'm gonna
- 52:51Speaker 3: come down there to see the ring that you're talking about.
- 52:54Speaker 3: If it's not the ring that I gave my girl,
- 52:56Speaker 3: I'm gonna take seventy six hundred dollars out of your

- 56:44Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew.
- 56:45Speaker 13: Subject my mama hooked me up with her friend. Dear
- 56:48Speaker 13: Stephen Shirley. I'm a forty year old black female and
- 56:52Speaker 13: I'm an office manager at a small business. The owner
- 56:55Speaker 13: of the business is an old family friend of my parents.
- 56:58Speaker 13: He's getting pretty old and has had some health issues,
- 57:01Speaker 13: so his twin brother is helping out with the day
- 57:04Speaker 13: to day operations. This older gentleman is in his seventies
- 57:07Speaker 13: and he's very sweet and pleasant. He comes to work
- 57:11Speaker 13: overdressed daily in his suit and tie in cologne. He
- 57:15Speaker 13: started bringing me lunch from home, and he's a great cook.
- 57:19Speaker 13: He told me that he did most of the cooking
- 57:21Speaker 13: for his wife, and since she's passed away, he doesn't
- 57:25Speaker 13: have anyone to cook for. The longer he stays and
- 57:28Speaker 13: helps out, the more he talks about missing his wife.
- 57:31Speaker 13: He's been inappropriate a couple of times, telling me he
- 57:34Speaker 13: misses holding a woman, and another time he told me
- 57:37Speaker 13: he loves big breasths on a woman. I have big breasts,
- 57:41Speaker 13: so I've started dressing more conservatively. On my birthday last week,
- 57:46Speaker 13: he insisted on taking me to lunch and I went.
- 57:50Speaker 13: I was a little uncomfortable because it seemed like we
- 57:52Speaker 13: were on a real date. I told my parents about lunch,
- 57:56Speaker 13: and my dad told me to be aware of him
- 57:59Speaker 13: because my mom was trying to hook us up.
- 58:01Speaker 1: My mom was.
- 58:02Speaker 13: Smirking and said he's a great man and always has been.
- 58:05Speaker 13: She said he's kind and wealthy, and he's crazy about me.
- 58:10Speaker 13: My dad rolled his eyes and walked away. My mom
- 58:13Speaker 13: went on to say that the old man told them
- 58:16Speaker 13: I was just his type, and my dad didn't like it,
- 58:19Speaker 13: but agreed that I am old enough to decide what
- 58:21Speaker 13: I want to do. I told my mom there's no
- 58:24Speaker 13: way I'm dating their friend, and I'm not physically attracted
- 58:28Speaker 13: to him at all. I told my mom to tell
- 58:30Speaker 13: him I'm not interested. She told me to tell him myself.
- 58:35Speaker 13: How can I politely tell this old man that I
- 58:39Speaker 13: don't want him?
- 58:41Speaker 1: Well, I think your mom's right. You should tell him yourself.
- 58:44Speaker 13: That way, there could be no reason for any misinterpretation
- 58:48Speaker 13: or any mistakes or any of that.
- 58:50Speaker 1: He will get it. He will understand.
- 58:52Speaker 13: And I got to ask you, has this ever come
- 58:55Speaker 13: up between the two of you in conversation, because so
- 58:58Speaker 13: far I don't.
- 59:00Speaker 1: Think it has.
- 59:00Speaker 13: You didn't mention in the letter that he wants to,
- 59:03Speaker 13: you know, take it any further than this or anything.
- 59:07Speaker 13: But we all, including your parents, we all know that
- 59:12Speaker 13: he is very much interested in you, and at seventy
- 59:16Speaker 13: probably does want to take it to the next level.
- 59:18Speaker 13: Since he said you're you're his kind of woman. He
- 59:21Speaker 13: wants to marry you, he wants to get more serious
- 59:23Speaker 13: with you. So to politely let him know. And I
- 59:27Speaker 13: appreciate you said politely. You know, you don't want to
- 59:30Speaker 13: crush the guy, so you know, to tell him you're
- 59:33Speaker 13: not interested. The way to do it is just tell him,
- 59:37Speaker 13: you know, tell him nicely and clearly, make it clean.
- 59:41Speaker 13: You know, I don't want to lead you on.
- 59:44Speaker 1: I like you, you're a nice guy, but I'm you know,
- 59:47Speaker 1: I'm not interested.
- 59:49Speaker 13: You cannot keep going out with him and keep you know,
- 59:52Speaker 13: coming in close contact with him without him thinking that,
- 59:56Speaker 13: you know, something else might have a chance of going on.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: You know, he might already be thinking that because.
- 1:00:04Speaker 13: There's no telling what your mom has told him anyway,
- 1:00:07Speaker 13: because she's the one that's secretly trying to hook you
- 1:00:10Speaker 13: guys up, according to your dad. So I think you know,
- 1:00:14Speaker 13: and it's okay. If you're not interested, you don't have
- 1:00:17Speaker 13: to settle. You do not have to settle, especially if
- 1:00:19Speaker 13: you're not physically attracted to him. And that's my answer,
- 1:00:23Speaker 13: So just tell him nicely, tell him nicely.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: You can get out of it. He'll understand. Steve hopefully well,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: you don't want to crush him.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: He's seventy, he'd be He's had way more crushing news
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: in his life. Stop thinking, ye'ah, I need to stop
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: thinking that old people of these fragile individuals.
- 1:00:45Speaker 8: Old people know how to suffer old people. Man, they
- 1:00:51Speaker 8: good at it.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: He's seventy colored, only water found all types of stuff
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: you tell about. I don't want to date you hand.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: He'll be fine, But let me tell you a couple
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: of things. Now you forty, You the office manager of
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: small business that's owned by older friend of your parents
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: right now. He's getting old, got some health issues. So
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: he got a twin brother well, which means his can't
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: be that far behind. You know the is twins. Now
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: you know how much long you think he gonna be hellified?
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: But in the words of all my daddy any day
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: now oh wow uh. You know the older gentleman's in
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: his seventies. He's very sweet and pleasant. He comes to
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: work overdressed daily in his suiting time cologne. He ain't
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: over dressed here, old player. Why is he overdressed? He
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: the head of the company. He ain't over dressed. He
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: I'm in for you.
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: All this.
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: He started bringing me lunch from home. And he's a
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: great cook. He told me he did most of the
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: cooking for his wife. Since she passed, he doesn't have
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: anybody to cook.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: For, so you in.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: So now he coming to work dressed up and he
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: bringing you lunch. The more he talks about missing his wife,
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: the longer he stayed. He's been appropriate a couple of times,
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: telling me he missholding a woman. And then other time
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: he told me he loves big breaths on the woman. Yeah, inappropriate,
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: and he says he loves he loves he misholding the woman.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: He loves big breaths on the woman. Then the right
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: of the letter says, I have big breath.
- 1:02:41Speaker 10: He know that.
- 1:02:42Speaker 8: That's why he said it. Why do you think you're getting.
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: That food to keep them?
- 1:02:50Speaker 8: You think he's bringing it food down here so he
- 1:02:53Speaker 8: can watch you lean over and dipping it.
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: Now, what.
- 1:02:58Speaker 8: I'll tell you impossible re enactment when we come back.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: Yeah we have.

- 1:03:48Speaker 1: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: The subject my mama hooked me up with her friend.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: Well, your mama and then hooked you up with this
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: older gentleman that's a friend of theirs, that has a
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: come because you office manager down there, but he didn't
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: got some health issues and sick, and his twin brothers
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: helping out for the day they of their operation. Like
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: I said earlier, we don't know how much longer that's
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: gonna last day are twins now, you know? Same DNA,
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: so he's probably gonna have some health issue coming up shortly.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: He's in his seventies. He's very sweet and pleasant. He
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: comes in to work over dress. That's because he hitting
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: on you. He brings lunch because he miscooking for his wife.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: He could cook. He's been inappropriate a couple of times,
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: saying that he missed his holding a woman, and he
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: likes women with big breas. You have big breas, so
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: you just started dressing more conservatively. On your birthday last week,
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: he insisted on taking me to lunch, and I went
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: I was a little uncomfortable because it seemed like we
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: were on a real date. Well, what you thought it was?
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: Let me take you out for my birthday? Come on, now,
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: he'd have told you he liked big breas. Ain't you
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: got him? He cook it for you. Ain't you eating it?
- 1:05:06Speaker 8: He dressing up?
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: Ain't you noticed it? My mama was smirking. I was
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: a little uncomfortable. It seemed like we were on a
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: real day. I told my parents about lunch, and my
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: dad told me to beware of him because my mom
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: been trying to hook us up. My mom was smirking,
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: and she said he's a great man and he always
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: has been. Says he's kind of wealthy and he's crazy
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: about me. My dad rolled his eyes and walked away.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: My mom went on say that the old man told
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: them I was just his type, and my dad didn't
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: like it, but agreed that I'm old enough to decide
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: what I want to do. I told my mom that's
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: no way I'm dating their friend, and I'm not physically
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: attracted to him at all. I told my mom to
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: tell him I'm not interesting, She told me, telling yourself,
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: how can I politely tell this old man that I
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: don't want him? Well, let's talk about a couple seconds.
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: First of all, why does your mama think that you
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: should date this seventy some year old man? See, I
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: know why, cause you ain't got nobody, ain't had nobody
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: in a while, and it ain't got nobody on the
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: hook or strength.
- 1:06:08Speaker 8: So now your mama saying, I got to help her,
- 1:06:12Speaker 8: So she done went and got one of her old friend.
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: Now he's a great man for your mama's married to
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: her dad.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: But not for you.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: Well, I'm just telling you now. To daddy, he really
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: can't say nothing because she farted. But she ain't attracted
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: to the dude.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: Even with all his wealth, She's not attracted to him.
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: Now, yeah, so that's it. So, Shirley, we're gonna do
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: a reenactment well out on the date, and I want
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: you to just have a conversation with me. I'm the
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: old seventy year old dude on the date and you're
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: just trying to make general conversations. You're trying to keep
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: it as bland as possible because you don't want me
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: to go nowhere with it. But when the old man
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: is locked in, this.
- 1:06:58Speaker 15: Is what you get.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: So thank you for bringing me to lunch. How is
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: your day?
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: My day?
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: Good?
- 1:07:05Speaker 5: Now?
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: I baby, good her.
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: Let's see what's your favorite color.
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: That you got home? Right there?
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: What kind of car do you drive? By the way,
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: I wanted to tell you that, what.
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: Kind of car you want? Cause, girl, whatever it is
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: you want, I finish start driving it tomorrow. You a
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: set of keys, your sir.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: No, thank you? I have my own car. How did
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: you learn how to cook?
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: I was sitting around one day trying to figure out
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: what's the best way to get to a woman's heart.
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: I do all the time.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: Oh that's good. What's your pastor's name.
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: I don't know. I go in there and pray for you.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: What do you know the name of the church.
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: No, it helped me Jesus, the name of it, because
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: that's all I say from time I walk in the door.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: So do you serve on any boards or anything in church?
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: I save you lunch every time I bring it in here. Donna,
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: how long have you?
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: How long have you been friends with my mom and dad?
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: Long enough to get to know you. I don't really
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: like it, Daddy.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I was gonna say, he doesn't particularly care for you.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: Is there a reason for that?
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: Because my well, well whyn't we just go on really
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: pissing walking?
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: Well, my mom likes you. My mom thinks you're great.
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I thank you. Mother's nice too, She's a fine
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: young lady. I think she raised a real princis, which
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: is what I'm after right now.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: So let's see. So you said you're seventy.
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: Age ain't nothing but a number.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: But yeah, yeah, that's what some people say. I know
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: because I'm forty.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: Live seventy long years.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: If you know what I'm saying, Well, you know what.

- 1:11:34Speaker 16: half court, drilled this thing and that just broke Duke card.
- 1:11:37Speaker 16: They had a fifteen point lead at halftime. How we
- 1:11:41Speaker 16: go from fifteen to losing by one? Man gives the
- 1:11:46Speaker 16: credit to you.
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: Come out now.
- 1:11:47Speaker 9: I know we don't know nobody any Connecticut, n but
- 1:11:49Speaker 9: we better start learning.
- 1:11:52Speaker 5: Now.
- 1:11:52Speaker 8: I got cousins in Connecticut.
- 1:11:54Speaker 9: Oh but what did you think about the game when
- 1:11:57Speaker 9: you saw it?
- 1:11:58Speaker 8: Did you see he didn't see it at all?
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: Are you doing?
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: You didn't have time.
- 1:12:02Speaker 8: I was sitting on boat yesterday.
- 1:12:06Speaker 9: Well man, Caden boozing. Man with the turnover.
- 1:12:09Speaker 16: Man, he was heard. He was heartbroken after that game. Man,
- 1:12:12Speaker 16: that turnover in the last few seconds that caused the shot. Man,
- 1:12:15Speaker 16: he was heartbroken.
- 1:12:16Speaker 3: Man.
- 1:12:16Speaker 9: He said, wish would have did it better.
- 1:12:18Speaker 16: You know, he other ways he thought he could have
- 1:12:20Speaker 16: did it, could have dribbled, I could have did all that.
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: Hindsight, I felt the same thing yesterday because I didn't
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: catch a fish.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: Me and that boos.
- 1:12:31Speaker 8: You boy had that same feeling.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: You were heartbroken.
- 1:12:34Speaker 16: See So so now up we got Kon and Illinois,
- 1:12:43Speaker 16: Arizona and Michigan as the final four.
- 1:12:46Speaker 9: And Illinois ILLINOI ain't no joke.
- 1:12:52Speaker 16: Man, and so you know who and who the other
- 1:12:56Speaker 16: team Arizona and Michigan. So Arizona and Mission getting the
- 1:13:00Speaker 16: two number ones. That's left. Yukon is a two seed
- 1:13:03Speaker 16: and Illinois the three seeds.
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: The only thing you remember? I picked Arizona. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: that's the only thing I remember.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: Yeah, man, randomly or I mean, I know.
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: They got a great squad, you know what. I I
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: just haven't been in it this year, man, I just
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: haven't been in it this.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: Year because of fishing or just because ah the.
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: War, you know, my family and a lot going on. Man,
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: I just ain't really I just ain't.
- 1:13:33Speaker 10: Really thought about it. You know who else ain't been
- 1:13:36Speaker 10: in it? Who whoever dressed in Charles Barker, they ain't
- 1:13:40Speaker 10: been in it either. They ain't been in it the
- 1:13:41Speaker 10: whole march.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: Man. All right, Junior, thank you. You're coming up at
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: the top of the hour.
- 1:13:50Speaker 13: When dating, should you have a key to your partner's house.
- 1:13:53Speaker 13: A couple is struggling with this and they need some advice.
- 1:13:56Speaker 13: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to
- 1:13:59Speaker 13: the Harvey Morning Show. This is from Anisha in Cincinnati.
- 1:14:07Speaker 13: Anisha says, I gave my boyfriend a key to my
- 1:14:09Speaker 13: house months ago, expecting him to give me his key.
- 1:14:13Speaker 13: I pressed the issue, so he finally gave me the key,
- 1:14:16Speaker 13: but he didn't give me his gate code or remote
- 1:14:18Speaker 13: to get in the gate. I have to call him
- 1:14:21Speaker 13: to get into the gate. I feel like he only
- 1:14:23Speaker 13: gave me the key so I would stop nagging him.
- 1:14:26Speaker 13: So I secretly took my key off his key ring.
- 1:14:28Speaker 13: The other day, he tried to get in and realized
- 1:14:31Speaker 13: he did not have his key. He said, I'm passive aggressive.
- 1:14:35Speaker 13: I told him I was matching his energy. Does he
- 1:14:39Speaker 13: deserve to have his key back or not?
- 1:14:41Speaker 5: What?
- 1:14:42Speaker 8: Well, are y'all in a relationship? Are y'all in all?
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: They're in a relationship?
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: All, yeah, Well, you're being passive aggressive and you're matching
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: his energy. Well, y'all in a relationship, or y'all in
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: a psychology course? What's y'all doing? Because all they're doing
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: is just come. You're playing aggressive, playing with each other,
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: matching your energy.
- 1:15:08Speaker 13: Well, he didn't ask her for her key, She just
- 1:15:13Speaker 13: gave it to him, and she expected him to give
- 1:15:16Speaker 13: him hers just because she gave her his key, him
- 1:15:20Speaker 13: her key.
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: So now he gave you a key.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: Yeah, but he didn't give her the code or the
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: remote to get in.
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: You ain't got no gait and you ain't got no remote,
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: And now you get a gate and remote we can
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: change that.
- 1:15:33Speaker 9: But instead of remote exchange.
- 1:15:36Speaker 8: Right, he just got a key to the apartment.
- 1:15:39Speaker 13: Right, but instead of asking for her key back, she
- 1:15:43Speaker 13: just secretly took it off the key ring, you know.
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: So that's why he said she's passive aggressive.
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: Why y'all together?
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: Exactly?
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: No truth, none, break up?
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: Bye? You got on your nerves? Yeah, okay, Well they're young.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: I mean, you know, they're young. They kind of need
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: some guidance, I would think, and how to handle this situation.
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: They're young, They're gonna get married in two months.
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: So we oh no, and see there was going to
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: be a problem. Yeah, because they don't communicate.
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: Well, well they don't do that anymore. They just move in.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: Oh okay, uh huh m hmm. Okay, all right, we
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: have time for another one. This is from Mohammed and Huntsville.
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: Mohammed says, my girlfriend of six years doesn't want to
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: marry me. She said things are going fine and she
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: feels like marriage would confuse what we've built.
- 1:16:43Speaker 13: She loves living apart and dating. She has her kids
- 1:16:46Speaker 13: and I'm co parenting with my ex wife. I want
- 1:16:49Speaker 13: to wake up with her daily and be a bigger
- 1:16:51Speaker 13: part of her life. I would give her an ultimatum,
- 1:16:54Speaker 13: but I'm scared that it might run her off. How
- 1:16:56Speaker 13: do I handle this situation?
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: She don't want to be married. Why do you want
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: to ask somebody that don't want to marry you? You
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: don't want to wake up with her?
- 1:17:08Speaker 10: Dog? I'm telling you no, I'm telling him he don't.
- 1:17:11Speaker 10: He thinks you do. Okay, you don't. You think you
- 1:17:15Speaker 10: want to wake up with it?
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: You don't.

- 1:17:38Speaker 1: the real question. Yes, yes, no, mag that same that
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: you guys. She got it too.
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: If you've asked a woman who you been dating for
