- 2:17Speaker 9: successful on any level, in any arena, any genre. I
- 2:23Speaker 9: don't care what it is. If you're trying to be successful,
- 2:27Speaker 9: this message is for you. Let me help you understand
- 2:30Speaker 9: something real clear. You ain't gonna make it the way
- 2:34Speaker 9: you want to, and you're not going to make it
- 2:37Speaker 9: to the heights that's fully out there and available for
- 2:41Speaker 9: you without God. And I'm just keep it real simple
- 2:44Speaker 9: and clean for you today. You're not going to make
- 2:47Speaker 9: it the way you want to, and you're not going
- 2:51Speaker 9: to get to the heights that's available to you without God.
- 2:56Speaker 9: You have to get this through your head. You can
- 3:00Speaker 9: try it if you want to, because I did. I'm
- 3:02Speaker 9: here to tell you I am talking purely from experience.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Here you can.
- 3:07Speaker 9: Try it without God, and you can see how far
- 3:10Speaker 9: you can get. Will you have some measures of success?
- 3:14Speaker 9: Of course you will. Will it feel like days like
- 3:17Speaker 9: you might make it? Of course you will. But let
- 3:20Speaker 9: me ask you a question, though. What you're gonna do
- 3:22Speaker 9: about them days when you feel like you ain't gonna
- 3:24Speaker 9: make it. When you're gonna do about them days where
- 3:26Speaker 9: it feel like there are no answers to your questions.
- 3:29Speaker 9: What you're gonna do about them days? What you're gonna
- 3:30Speaker 9: do about them days when everybody laughing that you turn
- 3:33Speaker 9: it against you. What you're gonna do about them days
- 3:36Speaker 9: when you just don't see no way through it? What
- 3:39Speaker 9: you're gonna do about them days? I got the sunshine,
- 3:42Speaker 9: you know, sunshine cool? Everybody got friends? When it's sunny outside.
- 3:45Speaker 9: You want some friends, hit the lotto, you want to
- 3:48Speaker 9: get rid of them friends, go ask for some help.
- 3:50Speaker 10: Man.
- 3:50Speaker 9: I'm talking about man. They scattered like roaches when lights
- 3:53Speaker 9: come on. I'm trying to tell you. So, now here
- 3:56Speaker 9: we go again, and you can do this without God
- 3:59Speaker 9: now because I've done, and you can have yourself some
- 4:02Speaker 9: measure success. Let me even hip you to a little
- 4:04Speaker 9: bit closer, though, let me tell you why you are
- 4:07Speaker 9: doing it without God and having some measure of success.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Can I tell you why?
- 4:12Speaker 9: Because of God's grace and mercy to us, because of
- 4:15Speaker 9: his grace and mercy trying to keep us in spite
- 4:19Speaker 9: of ourself, for the real mission that He really got
- 4:22Speaker 9: for us. See that's the truth of the matter now,
- 4:24Speaker 9: now what we're talking about nasty See. So yeah, yeah,
- 4:28Speaker 9: you can do it without God, and you can have
- 4:29Speaker 9: some measure of success without God. And yeah, you know,
- 4:32Speaker 9: yeah you got your little degree and everything, or yeah
- 4:34Speaker 9: you completed the program God, all that, YadA, YadA, YadA.
- 4:38Speaker 9: But don't you know something. It's because of God's grace
- 4:41Speaker 9: and mercy that he helps us anyway, well even when
- 4:44Speaker 9: we ain't asking for help, when he bails us out anyway,
- 4:47Speaker 9: when wein't even ask him to be bailed out. You
- 4:49Speaker 9: know why, because He love us that much that he
- 4:52Speaker 9: would allow us to exist until we get our mind
- 4:55Speaker 9: together where he could take us away, really trying to
- 4:57Speaker 9: take us.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Let's get this real straight clear today.
- 5:01Speaker 9: You can do this without God if you want to,
- 5:04Speaker 9: But I'm telling you to get to where you really
- 5:07Speaker 9: want to be and to be all that God has
- 5:10Speaker 9: for you. You got to have God. That is no
- 5:14Speaker 9: ifs ads, but about it. And let me tell you
- 5:16Speaker 9: this here. I don't really care what nobody then told you.
- 5:20Speaker 9: Are you listening to me? I don't care what they say.
- 5:25Speaker 9: Don't get this thing twisted. They got these people out
- 5:27Speaker 9: here talking about they illuminaties and all. Listen, man, don't
- 5:31Speaker 9: listen to me. Don't get caught in this mess. Don't
- 5:34Speaker 9: get caught in no foolishness. You were created by God.
- 5:39Speaker 9: God created you and your soul. We were all created
- 5:42Speaker 9: in His image, all of us. Don't get to talking
- 5:46Speaker 9: about you.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Finish. Cut a deal with the devil and all you
- 5:48Speaker 2: ain't cutting no deal with nobody.
- 5:50Speaker 10: Man.
- 5:50Speaker 9: The devil don't do deals. He one sided. I'm taking
- 5:54Speaker 9: you to hell. You going to hell. You're burning here.
- 5:57Speaker 9: That's his deal. I want your soul. I want you
- 6:00Speaker 9: to lose hope. I want you to take your life.
- 6:02Speaker 9: I want you to take some other people's lives. I
- 6:05Speaker 9: want you to feel hopeless. I want you to realize
- 6:07Speaker 9: that it ain't no God. That's his whole deal. His
- 6:10Speaker 9: whole deal is negative. Oh he can talk you in
- 6:13Speaker 9: the deal in drugs if you want to. But let
- 6:14Speaker 9: me tell you something about this. I watched these shows
- 6:16Speaker 9: all the time, drug inc And all this here cocaine mafia.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Everybody on now go to jail or get killed.
- 6:24Speaker 9: Our prisons is filled today with our young boys because
- 6:27Speaker 9: they thought they can outslick the system. They thought they
- 6:30Speaker 9: had away, they thought they sitting and been here and
- 6:33Speaker 9: they failed. For the old cliche, man, I gotta do
- 6:35Speaker 9: what I gotta do, I gotta get this money. Well,
- 6:38Speaker 9: the only reason you gotta do what you gotta do
- 6:39Speaker 9: is because, like I say all the time, you didn't
- 6:41Speaker 9: do what you were supposed to do. It is but
- 6:44Speaker 9: because of His grace and mercy that we exist, and
- 6:47Speaker 9: God is just taking care of you, looking out for you.
- 6:50Speaker 9: Got some angels and camped around you until you get
- 6:53Speaker 9: your mind right so he can get you where you're going.
- 6:55Speaker 9: But now I want you to understand something. There's a
- 6:58Speaker 9: cost and a consequence and a pace for everything we do.
- 7:01Speaker 9: This outside the will of God. That's for all of us.
- 7:05Speaker 9: All of us have consequences, penalties and everything that we
- 7:08Speaker 9: got to deal with. Outside of the will of God.
- 7:13Speaker 9: Understand that clearly, don't get this thing twisted sideways.
- 7:17Speaker 2: You understand me. You know. I heard a young man
- 7:20Speaker 2: tell me one day.
- 7:21Speaker 9: He said, uh, Steve, you know, man, I just don't
- 7:24Speaker 9: see how God looking out for me, if he would
- 7:25Speaker 9: allow all these things to happen to me. I'm having
- 7:28Speaker 9: such a hard time in my life. I really don't
- 7:30Speaker 9: see how there's a God looking out for me. I
- 7:34Speaker 9: looked at a young man. I said, in the man's you something? Man,
- 7:37Speaker 9: you're still breathing. He said, yeah, I'm standing here talking
- 7:39Speaker 9: to you. I said, you're still free. He said what
- 7:42Speaker 9: you mean. I said, you ain't locked up, are you?
- 7:44Speaker 9: He said no, I'm standing here talking to you. I said,
- 7:46Speaker 9: where you get them clothes from?
- 7:47Speaker 2: I bought him.
- 7:48Speaker 9: I said, well, you bought them with what I bought
- 7:50Speaker 9: them with money. I said where you get the money from?
- 7:52Speaker 2: Young Joe?
- 7:52Speaker 9: So I got job, mister Huh, I got job. I said, well,
- 7:56Speaker 9: well where you live though? He said, I got apartment.
- 7:59Speaker 9: I said, well where you get the apartment from? Mister Harvy,
- 8:02Speaker 9: I'm working. I got an apartment. I got a job.
- 8:04Speaker 9: I said, okay, okay, So now this this God ain't
- 8:08Speaker 9: looking out for you, think fish, finish telling me what
- 8:10Speaker 9: you're telling me. Well, see, man, I'm having it real
- 8:13Speaker 9: hard right now. I said, hey, hey, man, are you
- 8:16Speaker 9: are you hungry? Have you had lunch yet? He's yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 8:20Speaker 9: already had lunch.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:21Speaker 9: I said, oh, okay, okay, so gone finish telling me
- 8:24Speaker 9: about this how God ain't looking out for you?
- 8:26Speaker 2: He said, oh.
- 8:27Speaker 9: And you know, man, every every time I try to
- 8:29Speaker 9: do something, it seemed like it go wrong for me.
- 8:32Speaker 9: I said, but let them let man something man, I said,
- 8:34Speaker 9: every time it go wrong for you, I say, somehow.
- 8:36Speaker 2: You survive it.
- 8:37Speaker 9: He said, yeah, yeah, I survive in some kind of way,
- 8:40Speaker 9: but it's still be all messed up on me. I said,
- 8:42Speaker 9: but but you still got through it though, he said yeah.
- 8:45Speaker 9: I said, okay, man, gone finish telling me how God
- 8:47Speaker 9: ain't looking out for you?
- 8:49Speaker 2: And he stopped. He said, hey, miss Harvey.
- 8:50Speaker 9: He said, how come every time I tell you something
- 8:53Speaker 9: that's going wrong, you keep telling me God looking out
- 8:55Speaker 9: for me? I said, Cause you're still here, man, I said,
- 8:58Speaker 9: see you on understanding, I said, you seem to think
- 9:00Speaker 9: that you're supposed to just you're supposed to skate through life.
- 9:03Speaker 9: That is all supposed to go how you want it,
- 9:05Speaker 9: any kind of way. I said, Man, Thisesu is the
- 9:07Speaker 9: test to your faith. I said, God looking out for
- 9:10Speaker 9: you the whole time. I said, every time you tell
- 9:12Speaker 9: me something going wrong, you seem to turn around and
- 9:14Speaker 9: tell me how you survived, and you keep telling me
- 9:16Speaker 9: what ain't going right, But you keep telling me all
- 9:19Speaker 9: these things you have. I said, man, so what you
- 9:21Speaker 9: got to do is you got to stop looking at
- 9:22Speaker 9: the what you ain't got column and start focusing on
- 9:25Speaker 9: what you do have column. But if you ain't happy
- 9:28Speaker 9: with nothing heating done for you, you wanted to keep
- 9:30Speaker 9: piling stuff on. I said, you fail in the test,
- 9:32Speaker 9: young man. The test is are you grateful for where
- 9:35Speaker 9: you are right now? So I could give you more
- 9:38Speaker 9: so we can move forward. He said, oh, man, I
- 9:40Speaker 9: never even looked at like that. I said, well, why
- 9:42Speaker 9: don't you take your blessed self on somewhere and sit down?
- 9:44Speaker 9: He said, I think I'm going over here and let
- 9:46Speaker 9: you finish talking. I said, thank you, son. Sometimes you
- 9:49Speaker 9: just got to look at what you do God, folks,
- 9:51Speaker 9: that's all it is. Okay, you can't make it with
- 9:53Speaker 9: our God, y'all. You got me today. All right, let's
- 9:55Speaker 9: be clear. Let's go.
- 9:57Speaker 11: You're listening morning show.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:04Speaker 9: I need to have one thing from you this morning,
- 10:07Speaker 9: your undivided attention. I want you to think about this.
- 10:11Speaker 9: No matter what has been set you, God is still
- 10:15Speaker 9: in the blessed business. I don't care what you're going through.
- 10:20Speaker 9: God is in to get you through it business. He
- 10:23Speaker 9: has done it for you time and time again, and
- 10:26Speaker 9: this too shall pass. Get your head up, talk to it,
- 10:30Speaker 9: keep believing. Do not let the devil rob you of
- 10:33Speaker 9: your destiny. Man, don't let him do it. That's his
- 10:35Speaker 9: whole mission in life is to make sure you don't
- 10:39Speaker 9: get what God got for you and you don't become
- 10:42Speaker 9: what God created you to be. That's his whole mission
- 10:45Speaker 9: in life. Your fight is against that. Let's go give
- 10:49Speaker 9: God a chance in your life. Man, stop the doubt
- 10:51Speaker 9: and get some faith on it. This is Steve Harvey
- 10:54Speaker 9: Martins Show, Shely Strawberry calling for real Mississippi Monica Junior
- 10:57Speaker 9: Boy better known to Kills Faith.
- 10:59Speaker 2: We're trying to get his whole name on kill Lewan Space.
- 11:03Speaker 9: It's the the one that's in it for me, that
- 11:05Speaker 9: magical pimp name kill Lawan. But we have no danger
- 11:09Speaker 9: of him ever becoming a pimp because he don't have
- 11:11Speaker 9: a voice for it. Ladies and gentlemen, legend, nephew, Tommy,
- 11:21Speaker 9: you can't do that journey.
- 11:22Speaker 2: It's just it ain't gonna sell. Is my voice that
- 11:25Speaker 2: irritating to you? It's not you take to be at all.
- 11:28Speaker 2: It's actually one of my favorite voices.
- 11:31Speaker 1: It's not you.
- 11:32Speaker 2: I can't be though.
- 11:35Speaker 9: All the cartoons you would have seen. Have you ever
- 11:38Speaker 9: seen a pimp in any cartoon? It's because it can't
- 11:43Speaker 9: be the closest thing to ever come out on a
- 11:48Speaker 9: cartoons that damn Peppy Lipp who had was my dude. Man,
- 11:59Speaker 9: let me tell you something. I don't care what happened
- 12:02Speaker 9: pepper Letpeugh. You can't be talking about that, oh dog,

- 12:11Speaker 9: to do with Pepperlin Pew. He didn't even understand man.
- 12:15Speaker 9: Pepperlein Peugh was actually my boy of.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Daryl Macklin.
- 12:23Speaker 9: Pepperlein peughte was Daryl Macklin from Cleveland o' hick. I'll
- 12:27Speaker 9: give you prime example how he thought we was in
- 12:29Speaker 9: the wedding. One time we was all in the web.
- 12:31Speaker 9: My boy Bush got married. We was all in the
- 12:33Speaker 9: wedding and he just he was just a pilp 'g.
- 12:36Speaker 9: So the girl he was walking down the aisle with
- 12:39Speaker 9: at rehearsal, he was just talking to it the whole time,
- 12:42Speaker 9: just macing running game. She went to the bride and
- 12:45Speaker 9: groom and said, there's no way I can walk down
- 12:49Speaker 9: with out with this boy.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Please switch me.
- 12:52Speaker 9: So somebody had to go tell macklen that she wanted
- 12:56Speaker 9: to switch. I went over to Darryl Macklin. I said, hey, man,
- 13:00Speaker 9: the girls you're been talking.
- 13:01Speaker 2: To his mother. We're gonna have to switch people.
- 13:05Speaker 9: He's saying, from what I said, you just need to

- 14:31Speaker 9: We come gathering in a most prolifious way. We vontificate,
- 14:43Speaker 9: knowing full wheel that we are climbing the stertorial stairway
- 14:52Speaker 9: on our way to glory. As we patronize, yeah yeah,
- 15:00Speaker 9: organized and fraternize. Mm hm, let us colonize as a
- 15:10Speaker 9: unit different.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Wait wait, wait say that again.
- 15:16Speaker 9: I can't say it again because it were too good.
- 15:19Speaker 9: It were too good, you know, you know sometimes you
- 15:21Speaker 9: know quen it flowing like that, you just got to
- 15:25Speaker 9: go with the floor. I couldn't repeat that for a
- 15:29Speaker 9: million dollars. I have no idea, but I said, come on,
- 15:33Speaker 9: deacon with completion.
- 15:35Speaker 13: Ah, well, we got a lot going on today, Pastor,
- 15:40Speaker 13: they want you to talk to brother Gerald Jenkins. He's
- 15:44Speaker 13: claiming that the uh, the Cowboys are going to the
- 15:48Speaker 13: super Bowl and fighting anybody that says anything different.
- 15:52Speaker 2: His gout out of here.
- 15:53Speaker 13: He didn't have three fights already about these cowboys. You're
- 15:57Speaker 13: gonna have to have a conversation here. It's just he's
- 15:59Speaker 13: out of trout.
- 16:01Speaker 9: Well, we've always known that them cowboy fans is who
- 16:05Speaker 9: they is.
- 16:06Speaker 2: They ride every year.
- 16:09Speaker 9: They're going to the super Bowl and ain't He ain't
- 16:12Speaker 9: been to the Super Bowl since uh Emmy Michael egin Troy,
- 16:23Speaker 9: they ain't been there since then. You can't say nothing
- 16:25Speaker 9: to brother Jenkins. He's just a cowboy fan and that's
- 16:29Speaker 9: how they are. Hey, look, you're gonna keep on getting here.
- 16:32Speaker 9: The ass whipped that that that isn't for show.
- 16:37Speaker 13: Interdefinitely yeah, yeah, because one of the Saints fans whipped
- 16:42Speaker 13: his ass. I'm sorry with whipped his behind, uh yesterday behind.
- 16:47Speaker 13: Let me keep going, mister. Jada Pinkett is asking to
- 16:51Speaker 13: sell her book at our Sunday service, but the members
- 16:55Speaker 13: are saying, hell now, but it's your call, past if
- 16:58Speaker 13: you allow her to sell this.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Oh no, we're gonna let it go down.
- 17:01Speaker 9: Come on, sister Jada, or bring it or I find
- 17:06Speaker 9: you gonna be most interesting myself that a person would
- 17:12Speaker 9: say the things she said. I just want to look
- 17:15Speaker 9: upside her head while she said it. I just want
- 17:20Speaker 9: to see if the woods is really coming out of
- 17:23Speaker 9: her mouth.
- 17:24Speaker 2: LA today entanglement and all.
- 17:28Speaker 9: I just had never known that's what that was. I
- 17:33Speaker 9: counseled several couples in my office and never had I
- 17:37Speaker 9: heard entanglement.
- 17:39Speaker 13: Yeah, she's the only one. Let's keep it moving. Since
- 17:43Speaker 13: the Dedra Phillips, now listen to me closely past her,
- 17:47Speaker 13: because this come throw you for a loop right here.
- 17:49Speaker 13: Since the Deedre Phillips told her husband they should do
- 17:53Speaker 13: Greece for the twenty fifth anniversary, and then he said,
- 18:00Speaker 13: let's do ba Selene. It works out better. She wants
- 18:03Speaker 13: a divorce, my lord, my lord, my lord. He wanted
- 18:15Speaker 13: to go to the country Grease, and he didn't know.
- 18:18Speaker 2: What I know. I know, I know.
- 18:20Speaker 9: To further confuse her, I thought she was talking about
- 18:23Speaker 9: the musical. Yeah, I thought that would have been a
- 18:27Speaker 9: wonderful or anniversary gift to go to to see the
- 18:30Speaker 9: musical Grease.
- 18:32Speaker 2: Belviously.
- 18:33Speaker 9: See that's why I'm telling people, let's get some things clear.
- 18:40Speaker 9: Stop texting and learn more spelling, because if you done
- 18:46Speaker 9: wrote to your husband, let's do grease g R E
- 18:50Speaker 9: A S E what you want this man to do?

- 30:43Speaker 2: It's hard.
- 30:44Speaker 15: My best friend is broken, and DJ is uh.
- 30:48Speaker 2: He was like a he was my nephew, you know.
- 30:51Speaker 15: And my husband is very close to DJ as well.
- 30:57Speaker 15: And to have received that phone call from my best
- 31:01Speaker 15: friend and to hear that my Tasha broke down. DJ
- 31:08Speaker 15: is like an uncle Tatasha, and so it was it's
- 31:12Speaker 15: a lot.
- 31:12Speaker 1: But I want to say this, thank.
- 31:14Speaker 15: You guys for prayer there are a lot of people
- 31:16Speaker 15: out there listening who lost children, and just as a
- 31:22Speaker 15: message to be there for people grief. It's a stage
- 31:26Speaker 15: and when everybody's gone, when all of this, you have
- 31:29Speaker 15: to check on people and you have to pray for
- 31:32Speaker 15: him because I don't know what it's like to lose
- 31:34Speaker 15: a child, and so it is out of order.
- 31:38Speaker 2: It seems like it's out of order.
- 31:40Speaker 15: So just anybody out there listening right now, I just
- 31:43Speaker 15: if you are going through this and you lost a child,
- 31:45Speaker 15: We're just everybody. We're just praying and just love on
- 31:48Speaker 15: each other and life is precious and life is short.
- 31:52Speaker 1: And that's shorty.
- 31:55Speaker 10: Too.
- 31:57Speaker 2: That's a tough one.
- 31:58Speaker 9: Man. We all knew the young young guy, you know,
- 32:01Speaker 9: all of us knew it in some capacity just from
- 32:04Speaker 9: college relationship with his mom, you know, that's how we
- 32:08Speaker 9: met him. Yeah, you know, communicated with him on whatever level.
- 32:12Speaker 9: But it's a sad thing.
- 32:13Speaker 15: And one person that survived that was in the car
- 32:17Speaker 15: fighting for his life. So the man that hit them, he,
- 32:25Speaker 15: like Steve said, he died. It's just it's just a tragic, horrible, unspeakable,
- 32:30Speaker 15: unthinkable thing that happened.
- 32:32Speaker 9: Well, like you said, call it the best thing we
- 32:34Speaker 9: can do from where our position is to pray for people,
- 32:37Speaker 9: because there's a lot of people out there and it's
- 32:39Speaker 9: listening to audience that's going through this very same thing,
- 32:42Speaker 9: absolutely very and on some level because like she said
- 32:46Speaker 9: in her talk, grief, it's that's a that's a bad
- 32:51Speaker 9: that that thing right there.
- 32:53Speaker 2: Boy, it's unexplainable.
- 32:55Speaker 9: It's just you just and everybody grapples with it and
- 32:57Speaker 9: deals with it in a different way.
- 32:59Speaker 2: So I appreciate that. We're gonna pray for Toy. Thank you,
- 33:03Speaker 2: Thank you, guys.
- 33:04Speaker 12: Absolutely all right, So we're gonna switch gears here now
- 33:09Speaker 12: and talk about Anthony Anderson and his mom, Miss Doris.

- 33:19Speaker 12: show called We Are Family.

- 33:23Speaker 12: Anthony and Miss Doris are replacing Jamie Fox and his
- 33:26Speaker 12: daughter Corinne as the host of We Are Family, but
- 33:29Speaker 12: Jamie is still named as an executive producer as he
- 33:33Speaker 12: reportedly continues to recover from an undisclosed medical emergency from
- 33:38Speaker 12: earlier this year.
- 33:41Speaker 13: And h Shirley, because We Are Family, knew I thought

- 54:22Speaker 2: It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 54:24Speaker 2: We got it for you.
- 54:24Speaker 10: Here.
- 54:25Speaker 2: It is Strawberry Letter.
- 54:26Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew.
- 54:27Speaker 12: Subject all of my coworkers are men and he hates that.
- 54:31Speaker 12: Dear Stephen Shirley, my boyfriend and I moved in together
- 54:35Speaker 12: two months ago, and we've been dating for two years.
- 54:39Speaker 12: I moved in with him because I was living with
- 54:41Speaker 12: one of my male coworkers and my boyfriend didn't like it.
- 54:44Speaker 12: From the time we met, he started being rude to
- 54:47Speaker 12: my roommate slash coworker, so out of respect for him,
- 54:50Speaker 12: I stopped my boyfriend for coming to my apartment. I
- 54:53Speaker 12: was right in the middle of their drama, so I
- 54:56Speaker 12: told my boyfriend if he would propose, I would move
- 54:59Speaker 12: in with him mediately. He started the process of cleaning
- 55:02Speaker 12: out his apartments so I could move in, but he
- 55:05Speaker 12: didn't mention getting me a ring for the sake of
- 55:08Speaker 12: my relationship.
- 55:09Speaker 1: I moved in with him, but my roommate was not happy.
- 55:12Speaker 12: My roommate told me that I should not move in
- 55:14Speaker 12: with a man like him, and then he went to
- 55:18Speaker 12: work and told all of our team that I was
- 55:21Speaker 12: ruining my life with a loser who was not going
- 55:24Speaker 12: to marry me. I couldn't argue with that, because that's
- 55:27Speaker 12: how I felt deep down too. I had a conversation
- 55:30Speaker 12: with my boyfriend to let him know what's being said
- 55:33Speaker 12: behind his back, and he said, I need to stop
- 55:35Speaker 12: talking to all of the guys at my job. My
- 55:38Speaker 12: boss and whole team of six people are all male,
- 55:41Speaker 12: and we're all really close. I've been on work trips
- 55:44Speaker 12: with them and we love going to brunch together. Two
- 55:47Speaker 12: of them are gay, but the other guys are straight,
- 55:49Speaker 12: and we are like one big, happy family. I can
- 55:53Speaker 12: half way understand why he didn't like me living with
- 55:56Speaker 12: a man, But why can't I have male friends.
- 55:58Speaker 1: I can confide in them like I would my girlfriends.
- 56:01Speaker 12: And I've been betrayed by so many of my female
- 56:04Speaker 12: friends that men are just safer for me. My boyfriend said,
- 56:07Speaker 12: my male friends hate on him, but he hates on
- 56:10Speaker 12: them too. Should I stick beside my man? Or quote
- 56:13Speaker 12: do better like my coworkers told me to. Well, when
- 56:17Speaker 12: you say do better, what exactly do you mean? I mean,
- 56:20Speaker 12: do the guys think he's not good enough for you?
- 56:22Speaker 12: I think that's pretty obvious because it sure sounds like it.
- 56:27Speaker 12: You know, they call him a loser and all that.
- 56:30Speaker 12: And your young man agreed to propose if you moved in,
- 56:33Speaker 12: and you did, but he didn't. So your man doesn't
- 56:36Speaker 12: keep his word, and that's definitely not a good sign.
- 56:39Speaker 12: And you know, men can see things and other men,
- 56:42Speaker 12: just like women can see things and other women. You said,
- 56:45Speaker 12: deep down, that's what you want. Well, if that's what
- 56:48Speaker 12: you want, why aren't you getting what you want? You
- 56:50Speaker 12: made all the sacrifices to please him, and what has
- 56:53Speaker 12: he done for you?
- 56:54Speaker 1: Nothing?
- 56:55Speaker 12: Your man hasn't given up anything. His life hasn't changed.
- 56:59Speaker 12: I understand just like you do, why he didn't want
- 57:01Speaker 12: you living with another man. But you shouldn't have moved
- 57:04Speaker 12: in with him until he put a ring on it.
- 57:07Speaker 12: Otherwise he was just flexing in front of your co
- 57:09Speaker 12: workers because he can. So you have to call him out,
- 57:13Speaker 12: remind him what he said. Don't just be silent about this,
- 57:17Speaker 12: because that's what you want, a proposal, and you know
- 57:21Speaker 12: at this point it has nothing to do with your coworkers,
- 57:25Speaker 12: but they do care about you. They shouldn't be in
- 57:28Speaker 12: your business like that. But like I said, men can
- 57:30Speaker 12: see things in other men, and he didn't do what
- 57:32Speaker 12: he said he was gonna do. This has to do
- 57:36Speaker 12: strictly with your man and what you want from your man,
- 57:40Speaker 12: and you want a proposal, but it doesn't sound like
- 57:43Speaker 12: that's what he wants. He just wanted to get you
- 57:45Speaker 12: away from the guys for now, to show them. It's
- 57:47Speaker 12: been two years. You guys should be working towards something.
- 57:51Speaker 13: Steve.
- 57:53Speaker 9: Yeah, this letter's titled all my coworkers are men, and
- 57:57Speaker 9: he hates that. Just an overall view of this letter.
- 58:02Speaker 9: Here is a woman here who does not understand men.
- 58:06Speaker 9: She don't she don't understand the boyfriend, she don't understand
- 58:11Speaker 9: the coworkers. She has a lot of misinformation about men
- 58:17Speaker 9: in this letter. I'm telling you, sister, you don't know
- 58:22Speaker 9: the spider web you are actually in, because to me,
- 58:26Speaker 9: she's in a web and she don't know which way
- 58:29Speaker 9: to turn, and everybody knows they got her attention, and
- 58:33Speaker 9: they just telling her.
- 58:34Speaker 2: Whatever they want. Little sister, you're in a tough spot here.
- 58:39Speaker 9: Your boyfriend and you moved in together two months ago,
- 58:42Speaker 9: and y'all been dating for two years, you said, and
- 58:45Speaker 9: you moved in with him because you were already living
- 58:49Speaker 9: with one of your male coworkers, and your boyfriend didn't like.
- 58:54Speaker 2: It from the time we met.
- 58:57Speaker 9: Then you said, he started being rude to my roommate
- 59:00Speaker 9: slash coworker, so out of respect for him, I stopped
- 59:05Speaker 9: my boyfriend from coming to my apartment.
- 59:10Speaker 2: So wait a minute.
- 59:11Speaker 9: The dude you're dating was being rude to your roommate
- 59:17Speaker 9: who is a man, and your co worker. Okay, I
- 59:24Speaker 9: don't know how long that would have lasted. You got
- 59:26Speaker 9: to one time be disrespectful to me at my house.
- 59:28Speaker 9: I mean, nobody got to ask you not to come over.
- 59:30Speaker 9: No more because you're not coming over here. I don't
- 59:33Speaker 9: care who my roommate is, but that's a little weird
- 59:36Speaker 9: right there, that your roommate would be your male coworker
- 59:41Speaker 9: that has a stench to it that don't smell good.
- 59:46Speaker 9: I was right in the middle of their drama, so
- 59:49Speaker 9: I told my boyfriend, if he would propose, I would
- 59:53Speaker 9: move him in with him immediately. Wait a minute, so
- 59:58Speaker 9: you struck a deal with him to stop the drama
- 1:00:02Speaker 9: if he would propose to you. That's how you tried
- 1:00:06Speaker 9: to wrangle yourself or a wedding ring. He started the
- 1:00:11Speaker 9: process of cleaning out his apartment so I could move in,
- 1:00:14Speaker 9: But he didn't mention getting me a.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: Ring because he never agreed to that. He never that
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: was the situation. You said.
- 1:00:22Speaker 9: He just saw an opportunity to get you to move out.
- 1:00:25Speaker 9: You put the stipulation of the ring. He didn't agree
- 1:00:27Speaker 9: to nothing. You say he ain't never mentioned the ring? Now, Yeah, no,
- 1:00:30Speaker 9: because he don't want to marry me. It's something you're
- 1:00:33Speaker 9: not understanding about me in here. But I'm gonna help you, sister.
- 1:00:36Speaker 9: He don't want to marry you. Let's start with that.
- 1:00:40Speaker 12: Hang on, Steve, we'll have part two of your response
- 1:00:43Speaker 12: coming up to today's Strawberry letters subject all of my
- 1:00:46Speaker 12: coworkers are.
- 1:00:47Speaker 11: Men and he hates that.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:51Speaker 11: You're listening hard Morning Show.
- 1:00:54Speaker 12: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:57Speaker 12: The subject is all of my coworkers are and he
- 1:01:00Speaker 12: hates that.
- 1:01:02Speaker 9: You know, like I said, this letter is about a
- 1:01:04Speaker 9: woman who does not understand men at all. And I'm
- 1:01:08Speaker 9: gonna help you, sister, but you are in a serious
- 1:01:10Speaker 9: misunderstanding of how men are, think and operate. So now
- 1:01:15Speaker 9: let me help you. First of all, you've been dating
- 1:01:19Speaker 9: this guy for two years, and y'all moved in together
- 1:01:23Speaker 9: two months ago. Well, you know how you moved in
- 1:01:25Speaker 9: together because he didn't like the fact that when he
- 1:01:27Speaker 9: met you that you had a roommate that was a
- 1:01:29Speaker 9: man and a coworker.
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: So then he began treating.
- 1:01:33Speaker 9: Your roommate slash man slash roommate slash coworker rude. Out
- 1:01:40Speaker 9: of respect to your roommate, you asked your boyfriend to
- 1:01:42Speaker 9: stop coming over, and then you said you were right
- 1:01:47Speaker 9: in the middle of their drama.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: What drama? If I'm just your.
- 1:01:51Speaker 9: Friend, why am I having drama with your boyfriend. But
- 1:01:56Speaker 9: this whole thing stinks right here already. But I old
- 1:02:00Speaker 9: my boyfriend if he would propose, I would move in
- 1:02:03Speaker 9: with him immediately. So guess what he did. He started
- 1:02:07Speaker 9: the process of cleaning out of his apartment so I
- 1:02:09Speaker 9: could move in. But he didn't mention getting me a ring.
- 1:02:15Speaker 9: That's because he don't want to marry you. He just
- 1:02:17Speaker 9: wants you to come live with him. He gonna he
- 1:02:21Speaker 9: gonna get the milk without buying the cow. You ever
- 1:02:24Speaker 9: heard that, That's what he's doing. Now, for the sake
- 1:02:29Speaker 9: of my relationship, I moved in with him. You you
- 1:02:34Speaker 9: write the you short at yourself. You said, for the
- 1:02:37Speaker 9: sake of my relationship, I moved in with him.
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: No, no, no, you said. In the beginning, the stipulation
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: was I move in with you if you propose to me.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: He ain't proposed to you all.
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: Get a ring.
- 1:02:49Speaker 9: And now you're saying, for the sake of my relationship,
- 1:02:51Speaker 9: I moved in with him. What that don't make no
- 1:02:54Speaker 9: damn sense.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: He not marrying you.
- 1:02:58Speaker 9: My roommate told me that I should not moving with
- 1:03:00Speaker 9: a man like him, And then he went to work
- 1:03:03Speaker 9: and told all our team that I was ruining my
- 1:03:05Speaker 9: life with a loser who was not going to marry you. Well,
- 1:03:08Speaker 9: guess what he is right about that? The guy is
- 1:03:11Speaker 9: not going to marry you. But why is this boy
- 1:03:15Speaker 9: taking all your business back to all the coworkers. Men
- 1:03:21Speaker 9: don't really do that unless he has a motive. Let
- 1:03:25Speaker 9: me tell you something, ladies. Men do everything. Everything we
- 1:03:29Speaker 9: do has a motive. We don't do it without a
- 1:03:34Speaker 9: reason behind it because we consider ourselves the reasonable, logical people.
- 1:03:40Speaker 9: And I'm telling you men don't do nothing with us.
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: Why you do that? I just did it. What we
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: ask a man why he did something and let him
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: say I just did it? That's just a lie. Dog.
- 1:03:53Speaker 9: So anyway, he told everybody who was ruining your life.
- 1:03:57Speaker 9: You couldn't argue with that because that's how you felt
- 1:03:59Speaker 9: deep in the side. I had a conversation with my
- 1:04:01Speaker 9: boyfriend to let him know what's being said behind his back,
- 1:04:04Speaker 9: and he said, I need to stop talking to all
- 1:04:06Speaker 9: the guys at my job, which is a true statement.
- 1:04:09Speaker 9: If you're going to have a relationship, it needs to
- 1:04:12Speaker 9: be between two people. Once you allow other people's opinion
- 1:04:15Speaker 9: in the relationship, you open it up to too much garbage,
- 1:04:18Speaker 9: and you have my boss and the whole team of
- 1:04:21Speaker 9: six people are all male, and we are all really close.
- 1:04:25Speaker 13: What that.
- 1:04:28Speaker 9: How that sound y'all to the rest of us that's
- 1:04:30Speaker 9: listening to this letter, it's six of y'all.
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: We are all really close. Who close to all they
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: damn co workers?
- 1:04:37Speaker 10: Oh?
- 1:04:37Speaker 9: What job you done had where you were close with
- 1:04:40Speaker 9: all your damn co working? We on this show every day.
- 1:04:44Speaker 9: We ain't that damn close.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: We're pretty close, but not that close.
- 1:04:50Speaker 9: Right, I'm gonna repeat what I said. We on this
- 1:04:53Speaker 9: show every day, and we ain't that damn close. People
- 1:04:58Speaker 9: got lives, got families and stuff. Ain't let everybody in
- 1:05:00Speaker 9: our family, and that ain't how this work. I have
- 1:05:04Speaker 9: been on work trips with them, and we love going
- 1:05:07Speaker 9: to brunch together. Love going to brunch together. That hell
- 1:05:13Speaker 9: that love tender ass reason you got. Two of them
- 1:05:17Speaker 9: are gay, but the other guys are straight, and we
- 1:05:20Speaker 9: are all like one big happy family.
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: That family might be a little bit happier than you
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: know about a little girl.
- 1:05:25Speaker 9: I'm just gonna tell you because you just said two
- 1:05:27Speaker 9: of the guys is gay, and then we are all
- 1:05:30Speaker 9: like one big happy family. You know about the two
- 1:05:35Speaker 9: see I'm telling you right now, man, this got a
- 1:05:38Speaker 9: whole lot of elements to it that you don't know.
- 1:05:43Speaker 9: So I'm just telling you that all six of them together,
- 1:05:47Speaker 9: all happy, we all really close. We all go on
- 1:05:50Speaker 9: bus and trips together. You donna hear about no other
- 1:05:52Speaker 9: chicks going on these trip She's the only one. So
- 1:05:57Speaker 9: you don't hear about no other chicks going on these trips.
- 1:06:00Speaker 9: Group of dudes, you know, constantly go out of town
- 1:06:02Speaker 9: on business. Don't take a chick from somewhere, don't fly
- 1:06:05Speaker 9: nobody in little girl, Little girl, you don't have all
- 1:06:12Speaker 9: the information in this little relationship you in, especially these
- 1:06:15Speaker 9: six dudes, and now they don't want you to have
- 1:06:19Speaker 9: a relationship with your boyfriend. What you don't need anyway,
- 1:06:22Speaker 9: I can I can halfway understand why he didn't like
- 1:06:27Speaker 9: me living with a man, But why can't I have
- 1:06:29Speaker 9: male friends. I have told y'all about these male friends.
- 1:06:33Speaker 9: One of them won't you. But since they can't have you,
- 1:06:36Speaker 9: they probably all having each other. Right now, I'm just
- 1:06:38Speaker 9: gonna be real with you, that's what I'm seeing in
- 1:06:40Speaker 9: this letter that you ain't saying.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: All right, well, hear no other girl in this letter
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: this whole damn letter.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: She's the only one.
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: What six dudes go to brunch together?
- 1:06:53Speaker 12: Leave your comments on today's letter on the Instagram at

- 1:10:31Speaker 12: This is from Thurmon Steven Clearwater. Thurman says, I'm a
- 1:10:35Speaker 12: line dancer, and I enter competitions and travel to nearby
- 1:10:39Speaker 12: cities to compete. It keeps me young and nimble at
- 1:10:42Speaker 12: my age. My wife never could catch on because she's
- 1:10:45Speaker 12: got two left feet. She'd rather read her Bible and
- 1:10:48Speaker 12: let her past or brainwash her into thinking that I'm
- 1:10:51Speaker 12: up to no good. In close to thirty years of marriage,
- 1:10:55Speaker 12: my wife has never accused me of cheating. I've been
- 1:10:58Speaker 12: dancing for fifteen years and never cheated on her. Is
- 1:11:02Speaker 12: it time for me to have to hang up my
- 1:11:05Speaker 12: dancing shoes for peace in my house? Or do I
- 1:11:07Speaker 12: keep doing me and let her deal with it?
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: Wow, that's a tough one because you enjoy dancing. But
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: I don't know. Nobody to go dancing without their wife.
- 1:11:19Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: You can't say that. I can't leave here talking about
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: I'm going to go dancing right well?
- 1:11:27Speaker 9: Well, well well we dancing now? Well you know, well
- 1:11:31Speaker 9: you know you ain't caught on. So I'm gonna go
- 1:11:33Speaker 9: down there by myself.
- 1:11:36Speaker 10: Okay, Damn.
- 1:11:38Speaker 9: I don't really see that working out in my life nowhere.
- 1:11:43Speaker 9: I wouldn't hang up my dancing shoes. I don't know, man,
- 1:11:48Speaker 9: I don't know. Dog, you're in a tough spot because
- 1:11:50Speaker 9: you seem like you really do love your wife and
- 1:11:52Speaker 9: you want to have peace. And if you want to
- 1:11:54Speaker 9: have peace at home, hang up your dancing shoes if
- 1:11:56Speaker 9: you want.
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: Peace, yep.
- 1:11:58Speaker 9: But then see, I hate to have to give up
- 1:12:01Speaker 9: a hobby because my wife don't like the hobby.
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: I ain't like that either.
- 1:12:08Speaker 12: But peace, it's most important, right like peace? Yeah, in
- 1:12:15Speaker 12: the house especially yet. This is from Shamika and Fairburn.
- 1:12:18Speaker 12: Jamika says, I picked up a small, balled up Walgreens
- 1:12:21Speaker 12: bag under my son's bed and it had a condom
- 1:12:24Speaker 12: wrapper in it. I believe my son entertains his girlfriend
- 1:12:27Speaker 12: and his room while we're at work. My husband told
- 1:12:30Speaker 12: me that I have a vivid imagination and he'd handled
- 1:12:33Speaker 12: this himself. Our son is only sixteen, so this needs
- 1:12:38Speaker 12: to be handled immediately.
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: Why is my husband, Oh lord.
- 1:12:42Speaker 12: Why isn't Why isn't my husband taking it more seriously?
- 1:12:47Speaker 12: Did he already know about.
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: It because he was a boy too, Yeah, he was
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: a boy before. That's really simply it. I mean, he
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: know what's up.
- 1:12:56Speaker 9: He's he's going to talk to him about it because
- 1:12:59Speaker 9: he wants to text yourself into the girls.
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: But he's proud. Oh he's proud.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: Proud.
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: Oh let me tell you some of his chest stock. No,
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: it is.
- 1:13:11Speaker 9: It is very much a double standing, and it's a
- 1:13:13Speaker 9: wrong double standing. But he's so proud of his damn boy.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: He's high right now.
- 1:13:21Speaker 9: He's doing a mental high five boy. Yeah, and so hey, man,
- 1:13:28Speaker 9: let me let me see your intent.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: Yeah, the dad said, what Steve, my boy?
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: Let me instagram. Let me let me see the picture.
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: This little good you got? Damn boy? Oh that's her mama?
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: Is that her mama? You see? That's I'm just taking. Yeah,
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: he's proud.
- 1:13:49Speaker 9: I'm just telling you, man, that that right there, you
- 1:13:52Speaker 9: can't start. And then once he go down that path,
- 1:13:55Speaker 9: there is no turning back. You can't taste you can't
- 1:13:59Speaker 9: taste that.
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: And don't want it no more? Oh no, sir, Oh no, sir.
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: It is his question now for the rest of his life.
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: Some more of that.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: But is it sixteen kinds of young? Yeah, that's John.
- 1:14:13Speaker 9: That's a good good star name got driver got But
- 1:14:19Speaker 9: then you think where you think he driving to? Why
- 1:14:24Speaker 9: you think he wanted a license? Yeah, look I don't
- 1:14:27Speaker 9: I don't recommend it. But once he does it, Yeah
- 1:14:34Speaker 9: that you can't you can't put that back in the bag.
- 1:14:38Speaker 9: Once that can't get out the bag, you you cannot
- 1:14:41Speaker 9: put There's no way you can't feel that, not want
- 1:14:44Speaker 9: it no more.
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: That don't never go out of style.
- 1:14:47Speaker 17: Right theretime, my daddy saw my girlfriend.
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: He gave me some more money. Wait on you.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: My daddy saw my girlfriend. He said, you gonna need
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: another honey.
- 1:15:01Speaker 10: That's what dad?
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: Yeah, you prep for Wow?
- 1:15:05Speaker 12: Guys, all right, coming up in twenty minutes after the hour,
- 1:15:09Speaker 12: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: Right after this.
- 1:15:13Speaker 11: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: This question was.
- 1:15:19Speaker 12: Trending on the Shade Room over the weekend. It says,
- 1:15:21Speaker 12: if you died and could come back as any celebrity,
- 1:15:24Speaker 12: just for one day, who would it be and why?
- 1:15:28Speaker 10: No?
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: Three people? Wait, hold, hold, don't worry.
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I know, I don't know. I
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: don't know where that came from. A podcast.
- 1:15:37Speaker 12: Keep that answer, though, Keep that answer because a few
- 1:15:39Speaker 12: people commented Steve that they would like to come back
- 1:15:42Speaker 12: as Will Smith and divorce Jada. So now, so now
- 1:15:55Speaker 12: you can answer the question what celebrity would you like
- 1:15:57Speaker 12: to be like for a day and why?
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: Said Drake, Well, I come back as Chris Rock to
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: host the Auscars.
- 1:16:06Speaker 9: Oh, and after will slap me and turn around and
- 1:16:10Speaker 9: button his jacket. I kicked all the vertebrae out his back.
- 1:16:17Speaker 9: His ass will be down them steps way different that
- 1:16:20Speaker 9: he won't touch that one of the steps he stepped
- 1:16:22Speaker 9: on to come up there.
- 1:16:23Speaker 13: I tell you that that that night will never disappear,
- 1:16:27Speaker 13: that night that would never go away ever.
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: Come back? Right now?
- 1:16:36Speaker 13: What about your nephew, probably like Eddie Murphy or something,
- 1:16:40Speaker 13: probably be a damn now in headwhere you will come
- 1:16:43Speaker 13: back as me gone.
- 1:16:49Speaker 7: For one.
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: All my life?
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: We'll play around him. Would you rather right after this

- 1:17:14Speaker 1: So quickie in the morning or a full hour?
- 1:17:17Speaker 13: I want whatever is possible. We can get just three
- 1:17:22Speaker 13: minutes or thirty.
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: I just don't. I don't don't give a damn three thirty.
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: I don't care less. I tell you when you want
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: to get here, I'm a cold all right?
- 1:17:39Speaker 12: Would you rather be more handsome and wealthy? Or would
- 1:17:43Speaker 12: you rather be just handsome and healthy?
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: I can't. I can't take too much more handsome.
- 1:17:48Speaker 12: I think I can't take too You're so predictable, So
- 1:17:54Speaker 12: what now, Tommy, you can't I can't.
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: I can't take too much more. It is right here,
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: is all. It's a lot.
- 1:18:00Speaker 13: I mean, I'm just heavy mirror, and I just I'd
- 1:18:03Speaker 13: be about to faint.
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: I'd be like Lord too much more?
- 1:18:08Speaker 12: So answer answer, Would you rather more handsome and wealthy
- 1:18:12Speaker 12: or handsome and healthy?
- 1:18:14Speaker 13: I'm gonna go with healthy, you know more healthy? I mean,
- 1:18:17Speaker 13: I don't need no more. I'm good at that.
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: It's too much. I just don't see what you see.
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: I mean, I'm the sugar ray of comedy though. I
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: mean no, I never can. It's no way.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: I don't see it.
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: You ain't cute, and you half rich? What the hell
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: is we doing here? But you ugly and real rich.
- 1:18:45Speaker 11: I don't want that.
- 1:18:46Speaker 10: I won't.
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: I won't, I won't. I'm gonna tell you right now,
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: that's really all the shot you've got.
- 1:18:54Speaker 10: So you.
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: If you ain't sitting to be.
- 1:19:01Speaker 9: Cute, this is your only shot, I am your only
- 1:19:06Speaker 9: ends up unless you planning on taking that homeless route.
- 1:19:13Speaker 9: Don't get your little half. You go get your little
- 1:19:16Speaker 9: half cute ass.
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: Some money and ride it out. And the more of
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: but you get, the more people that think you are cute.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: Oh, that's right, all right, would you.
- 1:19:26Speaker 9: My handsomeness is created by deception, and I'm perfectly clear
- 1:19:31Speaker 9: with that.
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: They just thank you handsome because you got some money.
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: Oh cool, Okay, that's good.
- 1:19:40Speaker 9: That's what That's what my old fat ass bodyguard Boom
- 1:19:43Speaker 9: told me one time with this jealous ass.
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: The only reason some of these women like you is
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: because you got money. I'll take that.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: Do think he's cute?
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: Does he think I don't give it? Damn?
- 1:19:55Speaker 9: Well, I don't give damn what do think he thought
- 1:19:57Speaker 9: that about me? And I told him I accept that. Willie,
- 1:20:01Speaker 9: my daddy told me that that's what I needed to do.
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: Anyway. We ain't got good looking at me in in
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: this family making as much money as you can.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: All Right, that's today's roundup. Would you rather? Thank you?
- 1:20:12Speaker 8: Guys?
- 1:20:12Speaker 12: Coming up next, it is our last break of the day,
- 1:20:15Speaker 12: and we'll close out the show with some closing remarks.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: From the one and only Steve Harvey. Right after this,
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: you're listening.
- 1:20:23Speaker 11: Morning show.
- 1:20:24Speaker 12: Here we are, guys, our last break of the day
- 1:20:26Speaker 12: on this Monday. It's been a good day. It's been
- 1:20:29Speaker 12: a good day.
- 1:20:30Speaker 9: Yeah, yea hey, I have some closing remarks, you know,
- 1:20:35Speaker 9: based on some things that have unfolded recently. In all
- 1:20:41Speaker 9: of our lives, all of us on this show have
- 1:20:44Speaker 9: had to deal with different things. Carl is dealing with
- 1:20:47Speaker 9: some new drama that came into her life, grief, her
- 1:20:51Speaker 9: best friend lost her son. You know, we've all had
- 1:20:57Speaker 9: bad news. One thing that I've learned in this thing
- 1:21:01Speaker 9: called life, and I'll tell this to anybody. You can
- 1:21:07Speaker 9: live in this world without your mother. A lot of
- 1:21:10Speaker 9: us have had to do that. You can live in
- 1:21:14Speaker 9: this world without your father. A lot of us have
- 1:21:17Speaker 9: had to do that. A lot of people never knew
- 1:21:19Speaker 9: they did. A lot of people don't have relationship with
- 1:21:23Speaker 9: their dad. You can live in this world without that.
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: You can lose.
- 1:21:30Speaker 9: Family members, you can lose your job, you can lose
- 1:21:35Speaker 9: track of time, you can lose a couple opportunities along
- 1:21:40Speaker 9: this world along this way. But the one thing that
- 1:21:44Speaker 9: you cannot live without, and I'm telling you this, you
- 1:21:50Speaker 9: cannot live in this world.
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: Without a friend. It is imperent that you have a friend.
- 1:21:58Speaker 9: The Bible says a friend is oftentimes closer than even
- 1:22:02Speaker 9: your brother. I have men in my life who are
- 1:22:08Speaker 9: closer to me than both my brothers. They are friends.
- 1:22:15Speaker 9: With the thing that Carl is going through today with
- 1:22:18Speaker 9: her girlfriend. If her girl did not have a real
- 1:22:23Speaker 9: friend like Carler, do you know the difficulty this would be?
- 1:22:27Speaker 9: Do you know what it's like not to have a friend,
- 1:22:32Speaker 9: somebody that you can confide in. I'm talking about now,
- 1:22:36Speaker 9: this is the one of the greatest relationships you can
- 1:22:40Speaker 9: have outside of your relationship with God, outside of your
- 1:22:44Speaker 9: relationship with God, and next to who you choose to
- 1:22:48Speaker 9: spend the rest of your life with. That ain't a
- 1:22:51Speaker 9: relationship nowhere more valuable than a friend nowhere? And if
- 1:22:56Speaker 9: you can find that friend inside of who you tse
- 1:23:00Speaker 9: to spend the life the rest of your life with, Jackpot, Lord,
- 1:23:04Speaker 9: have mercy, Jackpot. I thank God for that too, that
- 1:23:08Speaker 9: I have found a friend in the person that I've
- 1:23:11Speaker 9: chosen to spend the rest of my life with. But
- 1:23:14Speaker 9: other than your relationship with God, choosing who you spend
- 1:23:17Speaker 9: the rest of your life with is imperative.
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: But that friendship, Man, Lord, have mercy. You have to
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: have it. You have to have it.
- 1:23:27Speaker 9: Some of your biggest disappointments of life when life has
- 1:23:30Speaker 9: been when you found out somebody you thought was your
- 1:23:33Speaker 9: friend really wasn't.
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: Oh Man, that throw you that throw you don't it.
- 1:23:38Speaker 9: That's a hard one man, because you thought they were solid,
- 1:23:42Speaker 9: you thought they really cared. But see, you just don't
- 1:23:46Speaker 9: know how people really are until you run into some hardship.
- 1:23:49Speaker 9: You're gonna find out who your friends are when you
- 1:23:52Speaker 9: when you in some trouble, when you are in there's
- 1:23:56Speaker 9: a slogan that says something to this effect, the true
- 1:23:59Speaker 9: measure of a man cannot be judged in moments of
- 1:24:02Speaker 9: comfort and convenience, but in turmoil and strife. Then and
- 1:24:07Speaker 9: only then will you know the true measure of a man.
- 1:24:10Speaker 9: You don't know who until it gets dark for you.
- 1:24:14Speaker 9: You don't know who until you fall yourself in one
- 1:24:17Speaker 9: of these pits, out of the pit that covers me,
- 1:24:20Speaker 9: black as the pit from pole to pole, fall in
- 1:24:24Speaker 9: one of them. Whoever is there with you in that whoever.
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: Is in that situation with you, those are your friends.
- 1:24:33Speaker 9: You know. I've had to talk to my young people
- 1:24:35Speaker 9: around me about my daughters and my sons, about friends
- 1:24:39Speaker 9: that I got a lot of friends.
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: Know you don't know.
- 1:24:42Speaker 9: You don't you think you have a lot of friends.
- 1:24:46Speaker 9: But life gonna unfold this napkin for you. You're gonna
- 1:24:50Speaker 9: find out in the course of this thing called life,
- 1:24:52Speaker 9: who your friends really are? See, that's what's amazing about
- 1:24:56Speaker 9: young people. My whole team were friends. All my coworkers
- 1:24:59Speaker 9: were friends.
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: No they not, No, they not.
- 1:25:03Speaker 9: But you keep living though, you gonna find out who
- 1:25:06Speaker 9: they are. And I thank God for friendships. You know, Look,
- 1:25:12Speaker 9: you don't have to be in my fraternity to understand
- 1:25:14Speaker 9: what friendship is. You really don't know. We don't have
- 1:25:17Speaker 9: a monopoly on that. But Omega South five stands for something.
- 1:25:25Speaker 9: The translation of Omega South five is friendship is essential
- 1:25:29Speaker 9: to the soul. We got that right because it is
- 1:25:34Speaker 9: man and no matter who you are, friendship is essential.
- 1:25:39Speaker 9: You gotta have somebody man that when you tell it
- 1:25:43Speaker 9: to them, they ain't judging you. You got to have
- 1:25:46Speaker 9: somebody you can go to with tears running down your
- 1:25:49Speaker 9: face and they stand right there with you. You got
- 1:25:52Speaker 9: to have somebody man who will bump up against you
- 1:25:54Speaker 9: in the fight back to back and start swinging with
- 1:25:57Speaker 9: no questions asked. I have some of those people, and
- 1:26:00Speaker 9: I thank God for them. If I told somebody, hey man,
- 1:26:04Speaker 9: I'm in some trouble and the trouble is coming, and
- 1:26:07Speaker 9: I think they're gonna get me they'll be standing right there.
- 1:26:12Speaker 9: Friendship is essential, man. You have to have a friend.
- 1:26:16Speaker 9: If you have a friend, cherish that relationship because they
- 1:26:20Speaker 9: are hard to come by. Now, true friends are hard
- 1:26:24Speaker 9: to come by. If you get one, cherish it, and
- 1:26:29Speaker 9: if you are one, be it. Stand next to those
- 1:26:34Speaker 9: people who need you the most in their darkest moments.
- 1:26:39Speaker 9: That's what a friend does. I thank God for friendship,
- 1:26:43Speaker 9: and I thank God for those of you who know
- 1:26:45Speaker 9: how to be a friend. It's important. Those are my
- 1:26:48Speaker 9: closing remarks today. Hey listen, y'all talk to God. He
- 1:26:52Speaker 9: loved to hear from you today. He really really would.
- 1:26:55Speaker 9: All right, y'all stay in peace now.
