- 2:05Speaker 1: to the voice, Come on dig me now. One and
- 2:08Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey got a radio show man, o man
- 2:12Speaker 1: o man? How many times I got to say that
- 2:16Speaker 1: before I get tired of it. I think it's gonna
- 2:20Speaker 1: be a minute, folks. I gotta be real with you, because, boy,
- 2:23Speaker 1: that Steve Harvey got a radio show man. Clear indication
- 2:29Speaker 1: of how God can do some unexpected, wonderful things for you,
- 2:35Speaker 1: how he leads your life in directions that you never
- 2:37Speaker 1: ever saw coming. You know, I was talking with somebody
- 2:40Speaker 1: the other day and they were talking about how man,
- 2:43Speaker 1: they were young and they were doing things and they
- 2:46Speaker 1: never knew that the things that they were doing as
- 2:48Speaker 1: a youngster would come and helped form who they were
- 2:54Speaker 1: today as an adult. This guy's fifty years old, and
- 2:58Speaker 1: you know the same thing. You If you look back
- 3:01Speaker 1: on your life and all of the things that you've done,
- 3:05Speaker 1: it helps shape you into who you are now. This
- 3:09Speaker 1: is provided now that you take the positive approach. Now
- 3:13Speaker 1: when I say look back at your life and see
- 3:15Speaker 1: what you've done, that doesn't mean dwell on the misfortunate moments,
- 3:19Speaker 1: because the misfortunate moments were necessary. I know it. It's
- 3:23Speaker 1: hard to see that when it's happening to you, But
- 3:26Speaker 1: the unfortunate moments are necessary. You know, what really makes
- 3:31Speaker 1: you appreciate summer vacation is winter work. What really makes
- 3:36Speaker 1: you appreciate a walk on the beach, it's when it's cold,
- 3:39Speaker 1: it is raining outside. What really makes you appreciate when
- 3:44Speaker 1: you're up, it's because you've been down. See if you
- 3:48Speaker 1: are up all the time. Just the nature of us
- 3:52Speaker 1: as human beings, we would lose our appreciation for because
- 3:55Speaker 1: it becomes case Sarah, whatever it is, well, it is,
- 3:58Speaker 1: what it is is? What what what you take it for? Granted,
- 4:02Speaker 1: it becomes expected. But what happens in life, say, is
- 4:05Speaker 1: it has so many twisting turns, and then you learn
- 4:09Speaker 1: how to deal with those twisting turns, which makes you
- 4:12Speaker 1: now a more experienced person. And then when the sunny
- 4:15Speaker 1: days come, man, you go wild. It's really nice outside.
- 4:18Speaker 1: You really want to appreciate how warm weather. Just stay
- 4:21Speaker 1: in a bunch of cold weather all the time. I'm
- 4:23Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. I'm just this is really
- 4:25Speaker 1: really simple and now analogies, but it helps you along
- 4:29Speaker 1: the way. Now here's what I came to say today
- 4:33Speaker 1: to everybody out there. And this has helped me in
- 4:36Speaker 1: my life. I can't tell you what it's done for me,
- 4:40Speaker 1: But a lot of people are struggling with moving forward
- 4:44Speaker 1: with their future, their future plans, their future goals, their
- 4:49Speaker 1: future aspirations, their future hopes, their future dreams, just simply
- 4:56Speaker 1: your future wants. A lot of people trying to have
- 4:59Speaker 1: a hard time mapping out their future. Even what I'm
- 5:03Speaker 1: gonna do, what I'm gonna be, what I'm gonna make
- 5:07Speaker 1: ham or go about it? What do I do next?
- 5:10Speaker 1: I want to share something with you that I had
- 5:12Speaker 1: to come to terms with the quickest way to lose
- 5:16Speaker 1: focus on your future is to keep focusing on your past.
- 5:21Speaker 1: You know, It's like I said at the beginning. You
- 5:23Speaker 1: know when I say it's wonderful to look at your
- 5:26Speaker 1: life and review it, because if you look at it,
- 5:29Speaker 1: it'll tell you it really helps shape inform you today
- 5:34Speaker 1: as the person you are now. If you look at
- 5:37Speaker 1: it in a positive sense. But if you dwell in
- 5:40Speaker 1: harp on the negative that's happened to you, then that
- 5:44Speaker 1: keeps you from seeing the good in the incident, every
- 5:47Speaker 1: bad thing has happened to you, that was a silver
- 5:50Speaker 1: lining behind it. I know people who were on drugs
- 5:54Speaker 1: who finally, man just got sent to prison for stealing
- 5:57Speaker 1: because of a habit. I know cat that's sold dope. Well,
- 6:01Speaker 1: he went to prison. He told me one time. He said, Steve,
- 6:04Speaker 1: it's man, this is the best thing ever happened to
- 6:07Speaker 1: me to save my life. Now, most people would think,
- 6:10Speaker 1: how in the world is going to prison helpful for you?
- 6:13Speaker 1: The brother said, it saved my life. First of all,
- 6:17Speaker 1: it got me clean. He said, I've been cleaned for
- 6:20Speaker 1: five years from sitting in him. That's for starters. I'm cleaned.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I ain't still in no more. I ain't putting myself
- 6:27Speaker 1: in jeopard and I ain't jeopardizing nobody else. He said, now, man,
- 6:31Speaker 1: I don't went to college. I didn't got a college
- 6:34Speaker 1: degree while I met him. Then he was released from prison,
- 6:38Speaker 1: and the brother's life was completely turned around. He married,
- 6:42Speaker 1: he got a family, he got a great job. He'd
- 6:45Speaker 1: go to work every day. He's a productive citizen. I mean.
- 6:49Speaker 1: So he looks back on his incarceration, even his drug abuse,
- 6:55Speaker 1: and it taught him how to appreciate the things in
- 6:58Speaker 1: life that he had taken for it and was missing
- 7:01Speaker 1: because he said, man, my life was just in a blur.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I didn't even know what was going on. He said,
- 7:06Speaker 1: Now I appreciate every day I wake up. That's what
- 7:09Speaker 1: I mean. Even in your missteps in life, there is
- 7:13Speaker 1: a purpose for the missteps. Every time you fail, there
- 7:17Speaker 1: was a reason for the failure. See what I had
- 7:21Speaker 1: to do was I had to learn that all of
- 7:23Speaker 1: my failures taught me how to get back up. So
- 7:26Speaker 1: I became a very strong and tough person in getting
- 7:30Speaker 1: back up. And then I was down and out so
- 7:33Speaker 1: long that it taught me how to really appreciate the up.
- 7:37Speaker 1: And so I've taken all of that and used it
- 7:40Speaker 1: those experiences that happened to me, and I became a
- 7:44Speaker 1: more experienced person. So next time when people talk about
- 7:48Speaker 1: me who don't know me, it don't shake me because
- 7:52Speaker 1: everybody's not gonna like you. Man, you might as well
- 7:54Speaker 1: gonna get on this train right now. And so what
- 7:57Speaker 1: I'm saying to you out there is the quickest way
- 8:00Speaker 1: to lose focus on your future is to keep focusing
- 8:03Speaker 1: on your path. Let it go. Yeah yeah, yeah, he left.
- 8:07Speaker 1: But like I told us lady on my TV show
- 8:09Speaker 1: the other day, sometimes the breakup is the blessing. I
- 8:12Speaker 1: know it's hard to break up because now you're loaning
- 8:15Speaker 1: you by yourself. But man, but when you're in misery,
- 8:17Speaker 1: when you was in that, weren't you in complete misery
- 8:22Speaker 1: in that? Now you kept asking God to fix it.
- 8:25Speaker 1: But it takes two people to fix a relationship. It
- 8:27Speaker 1: don't just take one. It takes two to make a
- 8:31Speaker 1: thing go right. It takes two to make it out
- 8:34Speaker 1: of sight. You really do have to have two people
- 8:37Speaker 1: wanting a relationship to work. It can't just be one
- 8:40Speaker 1: person want a relationship, so you can pray about the
- 8:42Speaker 1: relationship all you want. If the other person don't want
- 8:46Speaker 1: you no more and ain't gonna act right, you can't
- 8:48Speaker 1: make him do that, or you can't make her do that.
- 8:51Speaker 1: But you steady asking God for a new relationship. But
- 8:56Speaker 1: you are yet to be grateful that you are in
- 9:00Speaker 1: a position to have a relationship, and you keep harping
- 9:03Speaker 1: on the pass. You don't think he hear that. I'm
- 9:05Speaker 1: just a dude with a show, and I hear it
- 9:07Speaker 1: all the time. Let it go, go forward. It's over.
- 9:12Speaker 1: You made it, He bought you through it. You survived it.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Why are you dwelling on it and making it the
- 9:20Speaker 1: cross around your neck when clearly He had removed it
- 9:24Speaker 1: for you. Now, all you got to do is come on.
- 9:27Speaker 1: So if you're sitting behind them walls, brothers and sisters,
- 9:30Speaker 1: I'm talking directly to you sometimes. Man, you just got
- 9:33Speaker 1: to get it right. All this repeat offender business, that's for?
- 9:37Speaker 1: Who is that for? How ignorant can you be to
- 9:40Speaker 1: keep giving your life back to the penal system? Be free, man,
- 9:45Speaker 1: walk the streets, do the right thing. Ask God to
- 9:47Speaker 1: help connect you. He could do anything. You think he
- 9:50Speaker 1: can't give you a job? Are you serious? Man, put
- 9:53Speaker 1: some faith on it. Let's move forward, y'all. Let it go.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Let's move Ladies and gentlemen, man have your attention, please,
- 10:04Speaker 1: this is the Steve Harvey Morning Showing for us you're
- 10:06Speaker 1: listening to is none other thing. Tight. Love the show,
- 10:10Speaker 1: but this show would be nothing if it was just me.
- 10:12Speaker 1: I can't do this by myself. Well I could pull
- 10:14Speaker 1: it off maybe one for two days, but that's it.

- 11:04Speaker 1: talks to her, no shit, right for real, dog, I

- 17:10Speaker 1: jacket jacket jack Well. I met Jacket. I met Jacket.
- 17:20Speaker 1: We was down at the soft pole. Jacket had got

- 17:28Speaker 1: didn't want to pay child port. So he left and
- 17:31Speaker 1: went all the way to the north pole. That's how
- 17:34Speaker 1: you get away from child. He didn't want to pay
- 17:36Speaker 1: in soft pole, so we went all the way enough
- 17:38Speaker 1: pole and then he met him. He met the woman
- 17:42Speaker 1: up there and it had a little baby, and he said, well,
- 17:45Speaker 1: I don't know what the name, and he said, I'm
- 17:47Speaker 1: the name Santo, and he named the little baby sat
- 17:52Speaker 1: in the clause and then you know that one I
- 17:56Speaker 1: started writing criminals home. You went to sounds. You wrote
- 18:04Speaker 1: some of the other songs. You wrote dashing through the
- 18:06Speaker 1: snow one horse over slate, Hell, yeah, that came from
- 18:11Speaker 1: the black man right there. You wrote that she through
- 18:14Speaker 1: the snow. You know, one horse open sleve right there.
- 18:19Speaker 1: What a white man would write that line right there
- 18:22Speaker 1: because they got mold in one hall. Took a black man,
- 18:26Speaker 1: black man, they have a one hall. That's how you
- 18:29Speaker 1: know black man wrote that song in a one horse
- 18:32Speaker 1: open slate because all we had with one hole. You
- 18:34Speaker 1: also route route off the red note rain there? Didn't
- 18:37Speaker 1: you write that? I heard that you wrote that man?
- 18:39Speaker 1: What about you? Thank you? They wrote that I got
- 18:44Speaker 1: to come about? How did that come about? Santa Claus
- 18:49Speaker 1: ver Limited though Jacket told me to come over to
- 18:52Speaker 1: the north Pole. I haven't seen you the low down, Jackie.

- 19:22Speaker 1: So he put me on a slate and wherever I be, damn.
- 19:25Speaker 1: He had the rainiers out there. He said, on donal
- 19:27Speaker 1: won't blissing on't comment, And I said, a man who
- 19:31Speaker 1: who the little skin the rainiouver the red no, and
- 19:36Speaker 1: he said that's rude off. And we were riding on
- 19:39Speaker 1: the slate and then I it. Jack came to me.
- 19:42Speaker 1: I said, rude off the red nod rain due a
- 19:49Speaker 1: very shine. Then no, thein't never let whole rude gold

- 20:06Speaker 1: Dude hated hill because he had a nose dead glow.
- 20:13Speaker 1: We stuck his the last in the front. He could
- 20:18Speaker 1: show the way to go, and that's how I wrote
- 20:22Speaker 1: the soul. They had to take the cussin nowt for
- 20:25Speaker 1: white kids, but that's originally what the original soul was
- 20:28Speaker 1: because his little last knew which way to go. Black
- 20:34Speaker 1: head cool with it, but the white kid. Cedric's album
- 20:38Speaker 1: is called a power Based Christmas and he didn't sing

- 22:21Speaker 1: what's up? We were actually, uh given a phone call
- 22:26Speaker 1: by your wife, your wife is is that correct? Yeah? Okay, Well, um,
- 22:31Speaker 1: you know your wife's um, your wife's birthday is coming
- 22:34Speaker 1: up pretty soon? Is that right? Yeah? Yeah, so a
- 22:37Speaker 1: couple of weeks. Yeah, it's coming up. Okay. Have you
- 22:40Speaker 1: have you decided on getting or anything or have you
- 22:43Speaker 1: purchased anything yet? No? No, I got a couple of
- 22:46Speaker 1: days in mind. Um. Well, actually, uh, we got a
- 22:49Speaker 1: call from from I think We've got something that's gonna
- 22:54Speaker 1: that's gonna really help you guys. And and something I
- 22:58Speaker 1: think that she wanted to command. That's something that you
- 23:01Speaker 1: probably wouldn't wouldn't think about getting. I'm only is okay
- 23:06Speaker 1: and racking my brain, So I'm on is actually gave
- 23:09Speaker 1: us the call. She's actually had an idea, you know,
- 23:12Speaker 1: what she would really really like for her birthday present?
- 23:15Speaker 1: So what's her name? You're coming Bigger and Better? Um,
- 23:19Speaker 1: Like I said, she called you. I'm sorry, she called
- 23:23Speaker 1: you to give me ideal on what I should get
- 23:26Speaker 1: her for her birthday. Uh yeah, well this is this
- 23:28Speaker 1: is something that's a little a little different than something
- 23:32Speaker 1: that you probably would never in a million years think of.
- 23:34Speaker 1: But here at Bigger and Better, where we make you
- 23:37Speaker 1: large and in charge, we actually do some things that
- 23:40Speaker 1: we definitely know you wouldn't have thought of. So I
- 23:43Speaker 1: definitely understand her giving what's your name against Sam Scott?
- 23:48Speaker 1: Scott Scott, get to the point what you're selling. Actually
- 23:53Speaker 1: let us know that there's some things that are really
- 23:56Speaker 1: really lacking between you guys, and she would very much
- 24:00Speaker 1: like for her birthday where you can be a lot
- 24:03Speaker 1: more well endowed. So you know that's what we do
- 24:07Speaker 1: here at Bigger and Bad. We actually hello, what I
- 24:10Speaker 1: could be more what more well endowed? Sure? So I
- 24:13Speaker 1: think really what's going on is Beyonca is really not
- 24:16Speaker 1: satisfied right now. She called you to tell you that
- 24:20Speaker 1: I'm not what do you meet willing doubt my junk?
- 24:22Speaker 1: So you're you're, you're, you're, you're you're inadequate. You know
- 24:25Speaker 1: what I mean? You're you're. Uh. I guess maybe maybe
- 24:29Speaker 1: very impotent. I'm not sure, but are you kidding me?
- 24:32Speaker 1: What's the name of this company? In Bigger and Better
- 24:36Speaker 1: where we make you larger in charge? And right now
- 24:40Speaker 1: you know you're not. You're not larger in charge, and
- 24:42Speaker 1: we want to get you to that. You have to
- 24:43Speaker 1: come in for a consultation, your consultation. I'll tell you what.

- 25:09Speaker 1: whatever service the first for me, that's gonna increase me

- 28:04Speaker 1: I can figure out why she calls you bluna adequate man, Sir.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Here's the problem. You're tiny and you don't want to

- 28:39Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. More than it show. Your wife just prayed

- 29:09Speaker 1: of the hour, Entertainment and national news. Right after this,
- 29:13Speaker 1: you're listening to morning show. In today's entertainment news, Cardi
- 29:20Speaker 1: b is making money moves for the holidays. She's got
- 29:23Speaker 1: a new ad for Pepsi that features her favorite things.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Missus Offset is on board to promote Pepsi's holiday campaign.
- 29:30Speaker 1: It involves newly designed twelve packs equipped with QR codes that,
- 29:35Speaker 1: when scanned, give Pepsi drinkers a chance to win and
- 29:38Speaker 1: then give some money to their friends and family. Cardi
- 29:41Speaker 1: was excited to do it. I always see like big
- 29:45Speaker 1: stars working with Pepsi, so for them to pick me,
- 29:47Speaker 1: she says, it just makes me feel like, oh I'm
- 29:50Speaker 1: up there. I love that. Yeah, you didn't want last year?
- 29:56Speaker 1: Yeah all right, Tommy, oh yeah, yeah, nephew, brace yourself, Okay,
- 30:02Speaker 1: take a deep breath. And other entertainment news. Halle Berry.
- 30:08Speaker 1: Now this is during a fight scene of the movie Bruised.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Who was she find she she sustained some injuries. In
- 30:17Speaker 1: the movie Bruise, she plays the role of Jackie Justice,
- 30:20Speaker 1: a disgraced MMA fighter looking for what some justice. Hallie
- 30:24Speaker 1: took to the Graham to update us on her condition.
- 30:27Speaker 1: After thanking everyone for their concern, she said, it's part
- 30:30Speaker 1: for the course when you do your own stunts, and
- 30:32Speaker 1: I wouldn't have it any other way, all right, But
- 30:34Speaker 1: don't think she's down, she added, just know that I'm
- 30:38Speaker 1: far from tired. I'm wide awake and I'm just getting started.
- 30:41Speaker 1: My baby, don't, my baby, don't tap out. Okay, my
- 30:45Speaker 1: baby don't never tap out. Well, that's good as she
- 30:48Speaker 1: don't tap out, because after surgery, you ain't been worth
- 30:51Speaker 1: a damn. I resent that, I that I resented. I'm
- 31:00Speaker 1: with you. That's double resentment. We have three arms up
- 31:05Speaker 1: in the air that that was disgusting about it? Wow,
- 31:15Speaker 1: all right, Yeah, she's she's all right. She's all right,
- 31:20Speaker 1: and she's letting you know she's all right, and I
- 31:22Speaker 1: think that's amazing, you know what stunts. Brad Pitt is
- 31:27Speaker 1: one of the producers of the movie. He was the
- 31:29Speaker 1: one that said, maybe she's tired, and that's why she said,
- 31:32Speaker 1: I'm not tired. You know, it's just par for the course.
- 31:36Speaker 1: That's what happened. So she's trying to squash what he
- 31:39Speaker 1: was saying that she's been doing a lot with the movie. Yeah,
- 31:42Speaker 1: did she get hurt? Yeah, the movie John, Yeah, she
- 31:46Speaker 1: heard herself in that movie. Yeah, yeah she said that
- 31:48Speaker 1: one too. Yeah. Let's quit doing all these damn stunts. Yeah,
- 31:52Speaker 1: let's stunts? Yeah yeah, Well who doing your time? She's
- 31:58Speaker 1: just getting started up, Junior. Repeat that, Junior for those
- 32:08Speaker 1: of us who didn't hear it, Stephen down all. That's
- 32:14Speaker 1: Steve on the floe. You can get about the flow
- 32:18Speaker 1: in Ghana. Mister laughing your ass out, Get up out.
- 32:23Speaker 1: He's laughing like he asked me, who do who do
- 32:30Speaker 1: your stunts? When you jump off to Curt that's risky, Judie.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Oh boy, else, I'm funny to me at all. Not
- 32:40Speaker 1: funny to me. You are two times that last friend, though, Jay,
- 32:45Speaker 1: because you'd be talking about time when he around you live. No,
- 32:48Speaker 1: I don't, Steve, if you're talking about me when I
- 32:55Speaker 1: very loyal, I don't recall that you didn't really Rudy Giuliana.
- 33:06Speaker 1: All right, come on, Steve, time to get to those headlines, please,
- 33:09Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. Miss Anne Shrimp, thank you very much,
- 33:13Speaker 1: and good morning everybody hears the news. A federal judge
- 33:16Speaker 1: has ordered that former White House counsel Domigan must comply
- 33:20Speaker 1: with a congressional subpoena to testify before the House impeachment investigators.
- 33:24Speaker 1: So the Decision and Effects says that the President Trump
- 33:26Speaker 1: cannot block witnesses who have been subpoenaed by congressional investigators
- 33:30Speaker 1: from testifying. That's a real setback for the Trump White House,
- 33:33Speaker 1: since its lawyers have used the same argument of presidential
- 33:36Speaker 1: privilege to keep several high profile witnesses from cooperating with
- 33:40Speaker 1: impeachment investigators. Nevertheless, Trump's counsel is expected to appeal. Also,
- 33:45Speaker 1: the House Intelligence Committee, by the way, is expected to
- 33:47Speaker 1: release a report on the impeachment investigation after Thanksgiving. That's
- 33:51Speaker 1: what they're saying. Committee chairman Adam Shipp says his panel
- 33:54Speaker 1: is summarizing all the evidence accumulated so far looking into
- 33:57Speaker 1: where the President Trump leveraged military aid to get the
- 34:00Speaker 1: president of Ukraine to investigate his potential reelection rival, Joe Biden. However,
- 34:05Speaker 1: Shift doesn't rule out future hearings or depositions. He says
- 34:09Speaker 1: that legislators he feels have enough to make a decision
- 34:13Speaker 1: a lot of evidence. The Secretary of Defense is defending
- 34:17Speaker 1: his and the President's actions in the case of Navy
- 34:20Speaker 1: seal Edward Gallagher, who was accused of war crimes interact.
- 34:23Speaker 1: The Secretary of the Navy was ordered to allow Petty
- 34:26Speaker 1: Chief Officer Gallagher to retain his potential retirement status as
- 34:29Speaker 1: a seal a Navy seal, despite his conviction for posing
- 34:32Speaker 1: for pictures with the dead body of the teenaged Isis prisoner.
- 34:36Speaker 1: He was acquitted of stabbing to death. Navy Secretary Richard Spencer, however,
- 34:40Speaker 1: still sought to punish Gallagher in some way over his behavior.
- 34:43Speaker 1: So Defense Secretary Mark Esper says he was told by
- 34:46Speaker 1: the President to step in and fire the Secretary of
- 34:48Speaker 1: the Navy, and he did. I'm the Secretary of Defense,
- 34:51Speaker 1: I'm responsible department. My view is we will follow our processes,
- 34:55Speaker 1: and that is what we agreed to as leadership, to
- 34:57Speaker 1: follow the processes. That is a position to the White House.
- 35:00Speaker 1: The President is the commander in chief. He has every
- 35:03Speaker 1: right and authority in privilege to do what he wants
- 35:05Speaker 1: to do, and that's what happened. There was supposed to
- 35:07Speaker 1: be a review by the way or Viewboard of Navy
- 35:10Speaker 1: Seals next week to determine whether Eddie Gallagher met the
- 35:13Speaker 1: standards of seal behavior but now that's like a departmental
- 35:16Speaker 1: trial with the police. But now that will not happen.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Voting rights advocates are pretty wary over the State of
- 35:22Speaker 1: George's decision to purge more than three hundred thousand names
- 35:27Speaker 1: off that state's voter rolls in advance of next year's
- 35:29Speaker 1: presidential election. Advocates are worried that the plan purging may
- 35:33Speaker 1: purposefully target and intimidate minardies and young people. These three
- 35:37Speaker 1: hundred thousand amounts to roughly four percent of the George's
- 35:39Speaker 1: registered voters, and officials say those identify for removal will
- 35:42Speaker 1: receive letters at their last known addresses, and they must
- 35:46Speaker 1: respond using one of several forms of communications in order
- 35:49Speaker 1: for them to remain on the bout. So if you
- 35:50Speaker 1: get a letter or something like that, please answer it.
- 35:53Speaker 1: The legendary American jewelry company Tiffany and Company is about
- 35:56Speaker 1: to be sold to a Parisian company LVMH LVMH like
- 36:00Speaker 1: Rihanna's fenty Bulgari. So for all that good stuff. Finally,
- 36:03Speaker 1: today's National Good Grief Day. Back stew, you're listening to
- 36:11Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show all right time. Now for

- 37:29Speaker 1: so fast. I mean, well, the reason your year is
- 37:32Speaker 1: going by fast is because you enjoy what you do.
- 37:36Speaker 1: You had a job which I have set before. Man,
- 37:41Speaker 1: I had a job that I hated that year was
- 37:44Speaker 1: dragon Man. So when you enjoy what you do, that happened,
- 37:48Speaker 1: and then it seems like when you get older, they
- 37:49Speaker 1: go by fast. Yeah that's what I heard. Yeah, like
- 37:53Speaker 1: R Kelly ya is real slogans. And the next year

- 38:09Speaker 1: gonna be wow, don't don't y'all have an R. Kelly
- 38:16Speaker 1: story later on? Yeah, we do have something about it.
- 38:20Speaker 1: We'll tell you about it. We'll tell you yep. One
- 38:23Speaker 1: of his girls is speaking out, one of his exes

- 38:29Speaker 1: four minutes after the hour since you mentioned that, Steve,
- 38:31Speaker 1: we do have an R. Kelly story, um, and we'll
- 38:33Speaker 1: tell you about it right after this. You're listening to
- 38:37Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, So this is
- 38:41Speaker 1: some trending news that's going around, Steve. One of our
- 38:45Speaker 1: Kelly's alleged sex slaves his living girlfriends. Her name is
- 38:49Speaker 1: Jocelyn Savage. Well, she's been silent for quite some time,
- 38:53Speaker 1: never speaking, you know, a harsh word against our Kelly
- 38:56Speaker 1: always appearing, you know, somewhere in the scene when he's around,
- 39:00Speaker 1: like for instance, when he was doing the Gail King interview. Well,
- 39:03Speaker 1: now she's breaking her silence on the nature of her
- 39:06Speaker 1: relationship with R Kelly, who courses in jail. Yeah, it
- 39:11Speaker 1: seems she's turning on him too. Yeah. Jocelyn Savage, who
- 39:16Speaker 1: her family believes has been under R Kelly's control for
- 39:19Speaker 1: about four years now, posted on Instagram over the weekend.
- 39:22Speaker 1: I believe it was Saturday that she met R Kelly
- 39:25Speaker 1: at a concert when she was nineteen. She went on
- 39:27Speaker 1: to say that it was a fun experience that left
- 39:29Speaker 1: her with mixed emotions. Jocelyn also reportedly added that R
- 39:33Speaker 1: Kelly promised her a music career, allegedly saying he'd make
- 39:37Speaker 1: her the next Aliah. Jocelyn then goes on to say
- 39:41Speaker 1: that she dropped out of college and moved in with him,
- 39:43Speaker 1: but says things turned ugly fairly quickly, as she claims
- 39:47Speaker 1: he became incredibly controlling, she wrote, giving me commands and
- 39:52Speaker 1: making sure I call him by certain names like master
- 39:55Speaker 1: or Daddy. Jocelyn also claims that R Kelly threatened to
- 39:59Speaker 1: torpedo her career if she ever left him or tried
- 40:02Speaker 1: talking to her parents in private. Our Kelly, we all
- 40:06Speaker 1: know it's currently incarcerated and facing several sex abuse charges
- 40:10Speaker 1: from different states. Are Kelly's lawyer, Steve Greenberg said it's
- 40:13Speaker 1: unfortunate that Jocelyn chose to exploit her loving relationship with
- 40:18Speaker 1: our Kelly to make money. Wait, let me, I'm gonna
- 40:21Speaker 1: read that again, because I think I said loving relationship?
- 40:25Speaker 1: Did I say loving relationship? Our Kelly's lawyer, Steve Greenberg
- 40:29Speaker 1: said it's unfortunate that Jocelyn Savage I chose to exploit
- 40:33Speaker 1: her loving relationship with our Kelly to make money. There's
- 40:36Speaker 1: that word again, loving, master and daddy. I just believe
- 40:40Speaker 1: she's at a point now where she can finally tell
- 40:42Speaker 1: the truth and talk. That's just what I believe. Yeah,
- 40:44Speaker 1: because I think he doesn't have any control over her.
- 40:49Speaker 1: He doesn't have control over her anymore. Yeah, Yeah, don't
- 40:52Speaker 1: you know? People are all, well, you know, I can't
- 40:57Speaker 1: see that. You know, I think a lot of people
- 40:59Speaker 1: are mad at these women, because especially the adult women,
- 41:05Speaker 1: you know, where you should have known better than all
- 41:07Speaker 1: this here. But let's let's not overlook the part that
- 41:12Speaker 1: angers most people, the part that people are really upset
- 41:17Speaker 1: about is if the accusations are true about the underage girls,
- 41:26Speaker 1: they are so easily influenced. You can use your age
- 41:30Speaker 1: experience and gain to get them into a position. And
- 41:35Speaker 1: then once you start the brainwashing process, you can control
- 41:40Speaker 1: a person. For persons fearful in it, I'll do this,
- 41:44Speaker 1: and I'll do that, you can start believing that you know.
- 41:47Speaker 1: And so that's the part that I think the majority
- 41:50Speaker 1: of people are upset with the young accusations of the
- 41:54Speaker 1: young girls. And I keep saying accusations because I guess,
- 41:57Speaker 1: But I mean, look, it's just too an. It's too many.
- 42:02Speaker 1: It's it's too many. And the emo is always the same,
- 42:06Speaker 1: the same, you know, they have come on man and everything.
- 42:11Speaker 1: Like my mother used to always say, everybody ain't gonna
- 42:14Speaker 1: tell the same lit. We're not talking about gossip now.
- 42:17Speaker 1: We're talking about people coming out saying something that gossip
- 42:22Speaker 1: is different. What's social media? Yeah, right there you go,
- 42:27Speaker 1: thank you. Social media is different. You know, people get
- 42:29Speaker 1: on the bandwagon, the trolls get to comment about stuff
- 42:32Speaker 1: that ain't true. I ain't talking about that. When victims
- 42:35Speaker 1: come out and say the exact same thing, the and
- 42:40Speaker 1: have different circumstances, and they go the same way. You
- 42:43Speaker 1: have to start listening to somebody. You can't write all
- 42:46Speaker 1: of these girls off, right. Bet you calling somebody daddy, Donna?
- 42:51Speaker 1: I bet you cool? Cool? Are Calley? Yeah? Oh it's
- 42:57Speaker 1: some daddy is in there now? Oh yeah, you're calling
- 42:59Speaker 1: from call me daddy when I did? All right, that's
- 43:05Speaker 1: gonna be in prison for Oh my god, I can't believe.
- 43:10Speaker 1: But he knew it in the Gail Keene interview. How
- 43:14Speaker 1: about you fighting for my life? Oh yeah you did that? Yeah, yeah,
- 43:17Speaker 1: y'all mess who my life? Man? He knew it. He
- 43:19Speaker 1: knew it in Gil right, He just didn't he didn't
- 43:23Speaker 1: know how true it was. Yeah, all right, we're gonna
- 43:25Speaker 1: move on here. Um coming up next the nephew in
- 43:29Speaker 1: the building with today's prank phone call. Right after this,
- 43:32Speaker 1: you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the
- 43:37Speaker 1: top of the hour. Right about four minutes after, it's
- 43:40Speaker 1: my strawberry letter for today's subject, will my man choose
- 43:43Speaker 1: me for the holidays? Right now, we'll get into that.
- 43:52Speaker 1: Neew is here with today's prank phone call? What you
- 43:55Speaker 1: got for his net? Do anything with me? Before? All
- 44:03Speaker 1: right to prank. It's too much chicken. Too much chicken,

- 44:49Speaker 1: eat too much chicken and what we're trying to do
- 44:51Speaker 1: is cut back much chicken. What the hell is this?
- 44:57Speaker 1: My name, my name is Remy, Sir. Okay, what you
- 44:59Speaker 1: mean by if you eat too much chicken? We've we've
- 45:03Speaker 1: done a we've we've done a test study and we realized, sir,
- 45:07Speaker 1: the black people are the ones that are eating too
- 45:08Speaker 1: much chicken. And what we want to do is try
- 45:10Speaker 1: to cut back because right now there's time. He's and
- 45:13Speaker 1: ask them they eat all tam a chicken, chicken food,
- 45:15Speaker 1: young all this, yeah, chicken and white to eat chicken,
- 45:18Speaker 1: caligate all the chicken chicken, stir fire rice with chicken,
- 45:22Speaker 1: and always say you want to come to me talking
- 45:23Speaker 1: about a black person eat too much damn chickens? Did
- 45:26Speaker 1: you ask some white people? I bet you didn't know.
- 45:28Speaker 1: We're no white folks. I bet you don't go to
- 45:30Speaker 1: them y'all out of them. Well, so we're gonna we're
- 45:33Speaker 1: gonna get to that. We're starting in the black community.
- 45:35Speaker 1: You black people are the ones that seemed to buy
- 45:37Speaker 1: the most chicken. Man, you know chicken. Guess what, how
- 45:40Speaker 1: don't we eat chicken? And if I did, he's some
- 45:44Speaker 1: chicken i' because he man, we go. Are you thinking
- 45:47Speaker 1: of something? You? Hey, hi, y'all got my number in it? Yeah,
- 45:53Speaker 1: well you get sir. Actually we're getting numbers from the supermarket. Uh,
- 45:57Speaker 1: and we're getting a listing of people who buy the
- 45:59Speaker 1: most super muney you get come in in supermarket, sir.
- 46:03Speaker 1: The main thing we're trying to get you to do
- 46:05Speaker 1: is cutback on eating chicken. Now what we want. I
- 46:07Speaker 1: don't eat no chicken. And you know what I'm gonna do.
- 46:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna go and eat chicken and don't call him
- 46:13Speaker 1: about eating too much. I don't even a calmer moone,
- 46:18Speaker 1: So you got that? Hello? Hello, I'm trying to reach callaway?
- 46:25Speaker 1: Is this callaway? Yeah? Who's this? How you doing? My
- 46:29Speaker 1: name is Remy. I'm with bp E t MC and
- 46:33Speaker 1: uh who who? My name is Remy, sir, I'm with
- 46:37Speaker 1: bp E t MC. What we're doing is we have
- 46:40Speaker 1: a petition we're trying to get signed throughout the black community,
- 46:44Speaker 1: uh of some things that we're trying to actually help
- 46:46Speaker 1: out in the black community. Huh. So BP E t
- 46:49Speaker 1: MC is actually an organization and we're trying to actually
- 46:53Speaker 1: uh save some things in the black community. Where's the
- 46:56Speaker 1: what's B what is that? What's that stand for? What's here?
- 46:58Speaker 1: Is that BT? What is that for? Uh? Bp he
- 47:01Speaker 1: TMC is is uh, black people eat too much chicken?
- 47:06Speaker 1: And what we're trying to do is just man, you
- 47:08Speaker 1: gotta be kidding me. Man, man, this is this is
- 47:11Speaker 1: Remy sir. We're trying to get you all to actually
- 47:13Speaker 1: sign a petition. What's going on is black people are
- 47:16Speaker 1: buying too much chicken. You gotta be kidding me with
- 47:18Speaker 1: this man? This is a right man? Who is this man?
- 47:23Speaker 1: I am Caucasian, sir, Yes, Now, why are you calling
- 47:25Speaker 1: me with this? Well, what we're trying to do is
- 47:28Speaker 1: we're trying to get how do you get my number?
- 47:30Speaker 1: First of all, Actually we're getting we're getting numbers from
- 47:33Speaker 1: supermarkets that are letting us know the people. Let's look
- 47:38Speaker 1: at my phone with this man calling about some beat chicken. Man,
- 47:41Speaker 1: you no, man, me get smack one of y'all. Okay, sir.
- 47:46Speaker 1: What we're trying to do is get you guys to
- 47:47Speaker 1: cut back on buying chicken. Who as you're talking about
- 47:51Speaker 1: you guys? Well, the black community is the black community.
- 47:54Speaker 1: Hey man, you've got going on with it. We can't
- 47:57Speaker 1: get tab of it. Then they'll be calling my phone
- 47:59Speaker 1: with that man. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach Valerie
- 48:05Speaker 1: a valve. That's a shame. How can I help you?
- 48:08Speaker 1: All right? My name is Remy. I'm with BPE TMC.
- 48:12Speaker 1: How you doing. I'm doing fine and you I'm very well. Man. Listen,
- 48:16Speaker 1: what we're trying to do is, uh, if I take
- 48:18Speaker 1: a little bit of your time. We're trying to actually
- 48:20Speaker 1: get a survey signed by people in the black community.
- 48:24Speaker 1: We're actually trying to help out in the black community.
- 48:26Speaker 1: But the organization is BPE TMC. And what this is
- 48:30Speaker 1: is black What is that? Uh, that's that's Black people
- 48:33Speaker 1: eat too much chicken. So what we're doing is we're
- 48:36Speaker 1: trying to get what black say that woman time for me.
- 48:41Speaker 1: Black people eat too much chicken. You see, there's been
- 48:44Speaker 1: a shortage in chicken. So what we're trying to do
- 48:46Speaker 1: is get black people in chicken. And you want to
- 48:50Speaker 1: do a survey, well we want what we want you
- 48:52Speaker 1: guys to do with sign a petition that you're not
- 48:54Speaker 1: going to eat anymore chicken this year. Why do we
- 48:57Speaker 1: name make sense? We just start eat chicken. You know,
- 49:00Speaker 1: we eat beef, we eat steal meat, fish. I don't
- 49:03Speaker 1: see you trying to part that off the market. Now,
- 49:05Speaker 1: why would you want to telling us not to eat
- 49:08Speaker 1: chicken and we eat other stuff too? Why are you
- 49:10Speaker 1: getting your d D and from? Because this doesn't make
- 49:13Speaker 1: any sense. The test study, man was over chicken, and
- 49:16Speaker 1: it just seems like that this study. Who did this
- 49:19Speaker 1: test study? Well, we did, man, We're BPE TMC and
- 49:22Speaker 1: what we're after doing the test study, we did realize
- 49:25Speaker 1: that the black people are the ones that chest. I
- 49:28Speaker 1: don'ty just do it after two black people, I mean,
- 49:31Speaker 1: just use white people. But white people eat chicken too.
- 49:33Speaker 1: And she says that was a diets and stuff. Okay man,
- 49:36Speaker 1: well Asian? What about the Hispanics? Did you use them?
- 49:41Speaker 1: Okay man, listen. What the bottom line is. Our first
- 49:44Speaker 1: study is black people, and what we're trying to do
- 49:46Speaker 1: is get you guys to cut back on eating. Yes,
- 49:48Speaker 1: study should be everybody. This is some would get my
- 49:51Speaker 1: number from man? We got we got numbers from the
- 49:53Speaker 1: supermarkets that people that number from No supermarkets. I don't
- 49:57Speaker 1: give my number to no supermarket. This is on the
- 50:00Speaker 1: Kenny Damn saying you calling me, interrupting me about something
- 50:03Speaker 1: like this. This is this one bottom line, ma'am. You
- 50:06Speaker 1: don't you don't tell me, not telling me what the
- 50:10Speaker 1: hair I can't. You don't mind, you're not nice. Them
- 50:13Speaker 1: pushed this survey, Yes, you do push this, calling somebody
- 50:17Speaker 1: telling them that black people eat too much chicken? You
- 50:21Speaker 1: and your partition, would you like to hear what the
- 50:23Speaker 1: survey is actually saying? No, I don't want to hear
- 50:25Speaker 1: that the survey is actually saying, because what you're saying
- 50:28Speaker 1: about a whole bunch, But the survey is saying that
- 50:31Speaker 1: this is Nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 50:35Speaker 1: What Valerie, This is Nephew Tommy baby from the Steak

- 53:25Speaker 1: on tight. We got it for you. Here It is
- 53:26Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter. Thanks neph subject, will my man choose
- 53:31Speaker 1: me for the holidays? Dear Stephen Shirley. I am a
- 53:35Speaker 1: thirty year old, beautiful and successful woman, and I'm in
- 53:39Speaker 1: love with a forty four year old, well educated hunk
- 53:43Speaker 1: that swept me off my feet when I met him.
- 53:46Speaker 1: He told me that he was seeing someone in a
- 53:48Speaker 1: long distance relationship, but I still started dating this man
- 53:52Speaker 1: despite the news. After six months of dating, I did
- 53:56Speaker 1: some research and found out that he proposed to this
- 53:58Speaker 1: woman and she has set a wedding date. I never
- 54:02Speaker 1: confronted him about it, but it tore me apart emotionally.
- 54:06Speaker 1: I figured if I started an argument about it, I
- 54:08Speaker 1: would push him away and his fiance would win. So
- 54:12Speaker 1: I have kept the news to myself. I'm trying my
- 54:15Speaker 1: best to make him fall in love with me and
- 54:17Speaker 1: leave her. I know the old saying if he cheats
- 54:20Speaker 1: on her, he'll cheat on you, But I believe in
- 54:23Speaker 1: love and I know we have something special. The loving
- 54:27Speaker 1: is so good, and he takes me on some amazing
- 54:30Speaker 1: trips all across the world. We are always together when
- 54:35Speaker 1: he's not out of town visiting the other woman. I
- 54:38Speaker 1: am overly jealous, so I just need to know how
- 54:41Speaker 1: I can win him over before his fiance orders the
- 54:44Speaker 1: wedding invitations. The holidays are coming up and I don't
- 54:48Speaker 1: want to spend them without him, so time is of
- 54:50Speaker 1: the essence. How do I tell this man that I
- 54:53Speaker 1: am in love with him and will take any and
- 54:57Speaker 1: every risk when it comes to getting him to myself,
- 55:00Speaker 1: It's totally possible to be in love with two people
- 55:04Speaker 1: at the same time, so he's probably struggling internally with
- 55:08Speaker 1: who he should be with. Maybe if I tell his
- 55:11Speaker 1: fiance about our relationship, she will just break up with
- 55:15Speaker 1: him and go away. It may make him mad, but
- 55:20Speaker 1: in the end he will still have me, and I
- 55:22Speaker 1: know we can be happy together. I'm head over heels
- 55:26Speaker 1: for this man, and I'm planning to invite him to
- 55:28Speaker 1: Thanksgiving dinner so my family can meet him. How shall
- 55:32Speaker 1: I handle How should I handle this love triangle? Do
- 55:36Speaker 1: you hear yourself? Do you hear yourself? Because listen closely.
- 55:43Speaker 1: This is this is the sound of desperation, all right,
- 55:47Speaker 1: this is the sound of delusion in this letter. So
- 55:51Speaker 1: I want you to hear yourself. You are so short
- 55:55Speaker 1: changing yourself in this relationship. You are number two. That's it,
- 55:59Speaker 1: that's all. You are the side piece, and you're okay
- 56:03Speaker 1: with that. I think you're really okay with it because
- 56:07Speaker 1: he told you his status. When you guys, you know
- 56:09Speaker 1: first got together. He told you he was in a
- 56:11Speaker 1: long distance relationship. You even researched it, you did your
- 56:14Speaker 1: research and your words. You still dated him despite the news.
- 56:20Speaker 1: You started dating him. And that's the problem. I mean, really,
- 56:25Speaker 1: what is his incentive to leave his fiance and get
- 56:28Speaker 1: with you? Number two? What is it He's getting everything
- 56:32Speaker 1: from you without having to change a thing he's doing
- 56:38Speaker 1: when when for him he's got the best of both
- 56:41Speaker 1: worlds here. I mean, the question then becomes, when are
- 56:45Speaker 1: you going to wake up and realize that if he
- 56:48Speaker 1: was going to leave her for you, don't you think
- 56:50Speaker 1: he would have waited to propose to her. I mean,
- 56:54Speaker 1: you know, you did all the research. You know, maybe
- 56:57Speaker 1: he would kind of see where the relationship would could
- 56:59Speaker 1: go with you and him, or maybe that you would
- 57:02Speaker 1: have won him over by now you think it's a
- 57:05Speaker 1: competition between the fiance and you because you're you're willing
- 57:08Speaker 1: to take any and every risk to get him. You know,
- 57:11Speaker 1: I gotta tell you, please, don't bother inviting him to
- 57:15Speaker 1: dinner because you know where he's gonna be. He's gonna
- 57:17Speaker 1: be with his fiance and her family kicking it over
- 57:21Speaker 1: there for Thanksgiving because they're planning a wedding. They're getting married.
- 57:24Speaker 1: You are the side piece, all right, Steve, Well, I
- 57:29Speaker 1: don't know what Shirley's done a really excellent job with this.
- 57:33Speaker 1: All you can do is just get it worded in
- 57:35Speaker 1: a different way. So here we go. Well, my man,
- 57:39Speaker 1: choose me for the holidays. The answer to that question
- 57:43Speaker 1: is noe. And the answer to that question no is
- 57:46Speaker 1: simply because number twos don't get holidays. You don't get Christmas,
- 57:53Speaker 1: don't get Thanksgiving, you don't get forth of July barbeques,
- 57:57Speaker 1: those out of holidays. You don't get the old Valentine's date,
- 58:01Speaker 1: you can't get them days right there. You don't get anniversaries.
- 58:06Speaker 1: You don't get none of that, Coach, you will never
- 58:08Speaker 1: had an anniversary. Number two don't get anniversary dates. Number
- 58:11Speaker 1: ones get anniversary dates. And you don't even have to
- 58:14Speaker 1: be married to your number one half an anniversity just
- 58:16Speaker 1: the third year we've been knowing each other. You don't
- 58:18Speaker 1: do that to number twos. You don't go we've been
- 58:21Speaker 1: seeing each other for three years. Now, let's go out
- 58:23Speaker 1: and celebrate. No, there's no celebration. You don't celebrate number twos.
- 58:30Speaker 1: When I met him, he told me he was seeing
- 58:32Speaker 1: someone in a long distance relationship. Then you know what
- 58:36Speaker 1: you said right after that, But I still dated this
- 58:39Speaker 1: man despite the news. Okay, so you stupid, all you
- 58:44Speaker 1: just did what you wanted to do. You dated Demand anywhere.
- 58:48Speaker 1: Demand told you I got somebody. It's a long relationship.
- 58:52Speaker 1: I got somebody. You started dating Demand anyway. Then after
- 58:58Speaker 1: some six months of dating, you did some research and
- 59:01Speaker 1: found out that he proposed to this woman as she
- 59:04Speaker 1: has set a waiting date. Okay, what's the surprise. I
- 59:11Speaker 1: never confronted him about it, but it told me a party. Mostly.
- 59:15Speaker 1: I figured if I started an argument about it, I
- 59:17Speaker 1: pushed him away and this fiance will win. The fiance
- 59:20Speaker 1: is already winning. She the fiance. Six months in, you
- 59:27Speaker 1: found out they set a date for a when he
- 59:30Speaker 1: asked her, she just put this date on Facebook. He
- 59:35Speaker 1: asked the woman to marry him. Has he asked you?
- 59:40Speaker 1: Has he mentioned marriage to you? He said nothing? By no,
- 59:45Speaker 1: damn family with you, stupid. Let him make me sick
- 59:51Speaker 1: and to tell the rest of him right after shut up?
- 59:54Speaker 1: Coming you're listening, hey, Steve, come on, let's capt today's
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: strawberry letters. Subject, Well, my man choose me? For the holidays.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: This woman to met, she thirty, She met just for
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: the year old, well for the four year old, well
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: educated hunks swept you off your feet when you met him,
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: he told me he was seeing somebody. You still dated
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: the man. Bam. Six months later you did some research,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: that's social media, found out that he proposed to this woman.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: She even said a wedding day. You ain't never said
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: nothing to him about the man. You figure if you
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: start the argument and push him away. Now you want
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: to know in the letter where my man choose me
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: for the holidays? I'm telling you know because number twos
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: don't get holidays. Holidays a reserved for number ones. Uk'
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: be number two and get a holiday. You get some fridays,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: get sandy here and now wait, what is that? What
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: do they get? Steve? You can get some Fridays and
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: occasional Saturday, but that's it. Usually it's the same day
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: of the week that he then told his wife or
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: number one that he does a certain thing on a
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: certain night, and that turns that night into YO night.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: I play poker with the boys on Tuesday nights and
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: I be home late, then that night is YO night.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: You don't get any night you want. Now here's a
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: delusional part, like Shirley say, I'm trying my best to
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: make him fall in love with me and leave her.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: What Let me ask something, how do you do that?
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: How as the number two do you make the man
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: fall in love with you and leave the number one?
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: I know the old thing. If he cheats on her head,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: cheat on you, that ain't got nothing to do with this. No,
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: he's cheating on her with you. You the you tell
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: my head, cheat on you? No, you to you? But
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: I believe in love. Stop it. You just say you
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: believe in love. He's marrying a woman, and I know
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: we have something special. You all this is in your mind?
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: You have nothing special. Your number two two's ain't special?
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Ain't you? A? And all is here? They ain't no
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: two A two plus. This ain't a seat an economy
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: that's ain't in economy super with extra leg room. You're
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: still in the back Economy plus. You're still in the back.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: But this room is still good. But you in the
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: back door. He's got the first class seat and you
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: can't come up here with the Economy plus ticket. I
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: can sit on the exit row and get you a
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: little bit of Astra if that's what you want. But
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: look at that as a lot of people on the
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: exit row. The loving is so good, and he takes
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: me on amazing trips all across the world. You'dn't been
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: to the bug who ain't been there. She's making it
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: down bigger than it is yours across the world? Stop
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: San Diego. Ain't all across the world. Then here's another line.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: We are always together when he's not out of town. Hello,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: do you understand this? You're always together when he's not
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: out of town. You just said he take you all
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: around the world. Girl, when you're out of town, he
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: would hull you ain't been nowhere, fly to Atlanta and
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: across the world when he's not out of town visiting
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: the other woman. I'm overly jealous, So I just need
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: to know how can I wear him over before his
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: fiance orders to wear an invitation? Way too late for that.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: They the sect the date they wanted, putting money down
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: on places she brent dress shopping. Damn these invitations. The
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: holidays are coming up and I don't want to spend
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: them without him. You are this is your first holiday,
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: it's only been six months. You've never been to the
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: holidays before. You're spending those holidays alone. You're number two.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: It's only been six months. Hell, it's November, so you
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: met him prior to the summer. You're not. They don't
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: get holidays, Sweetie. I'm sorry, and I don't want to
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: spend them without him. So time is of the essence, girl, Thanksgiving,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: Dawn Giving, after tomorrow. Yeah, but if he said nothing
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: to you about Thanksgiving, Yeah, because he ain't gonna be Hell,
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: he got he gotta go out of town. He gonna
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: tell his fiance I ain't coming to wonder what is
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: your fin to do? Then? How do I tell this
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: man that I'm in love with him and will take
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: every risk he can to getting him to myself? You've
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: already taken the risk. The man told you was in
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: a relationship, and you dated him in away. You took
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: the risk. You've taken all the risks. Now, then you
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: go right here. It's possible to be in love with
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: two people at the same time. So I know he's
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: probably struggling internally with who he should be with, little girl.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: The struggle isn't with who she should be with. The
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: struggle is how to tell you he's with her and
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: Finn to getting married. Remember that he has not told
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: you this for a reason, because the only struggle is
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: when and how to tell you this is over. Because
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: I'm Finn to move this woman in my house. That's
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: the struggle to struggle. Ain't with your little system. You
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: pack your bags up, He ain't coming over for Thankgiving,
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: And do not call that woman because you could get shot.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: All right, those are my closing remarks today, y'all have
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: a great weekend. All right. You can post your comments
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: on today's Struwberry Letter as Steve Harvey FM on Instagram
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: and book and please don't forget to check out the
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter podcast on demand now coming up at forty
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: six after the hour. I think Steve had more to
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: add to this Strawberry Letter, write Steve, We're gonna do
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: a little bit more. Let's let this you're listening to,
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: all right, Steve, you said you had some more to
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: add to the Strawberry Letter subject why my will my
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: man choose me for the holidays? For those of you
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: that don't know, this girl is thirty years old dating
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: this forty four year old man. She swept off his
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: feet day he told her on day one, he's in
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: seeing someone in a long distant relationship. But you dated
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: this man anyway despite the news six months of dating.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: Did some research found out the woman has setting wedding
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: date with He proposed to this woman. Now, this girl
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: who wrote the letter hasn't said anything to him about it,
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: but she's torn up. She's scared to start our argument
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: because it to push him away and his fiance will win.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: So she's kept the news to the saying to kept
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: it all to himself. He's trying to figure out the
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: best way to make this man fall in love with
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: her and leave her. I know the old saying. If
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: he cheats on her, here cheat on you. But I
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: believe in love. Now that she's talking about the man
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: take on some amazing trips all across the world. The
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: girl had been in San Diego, and now she been
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: all around the world. San Diego, it's just close to Mexico.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: You did you saw the sign, see, but you didn't
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: actually go to Tiawan And he don't want to go there,
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: No damn way, because it's crazy. Now anyway, how do
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: I wear him over before the fiance orders to wed
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: an invitation? Holidays is coming up I don't want to
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: spend him with him, so times of the elsenes. How
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: do I tell this man I'm in love with him
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: and would take every risk into getting him to myself
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: totally possible. Well, now he's probably struggling with who he
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: should be with. Then here was the line the girl said,
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: maybe if I tell his fiance about our relationship, she
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: would just break up with him and go away. It
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: may make him mad, but in the end he would
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: still have me, and I know we can be happy together.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: Pump your brakes, little girl. You've obviously never gone to
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: a woman to tell her that you are the other woman.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: They do get mad, and it dud messed the dude
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: up with his girl for a while, but they usually recover.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: Now he is going to hate you for the rest
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: of your life and you will have no relationship with him,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: none whatsoever. And it is due. So long as you
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: know that, good luck. I'm planning on inviting him to Thanksgiving.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: Don't do that, that man. Don't do that. When I
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: damn turkey over there by yourself, they're gonna have a
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: place sitting with somebody ass ain't gonna be there. And baby,
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: and when thanks Giving up Thanksgiving after the moment, Thanksgiving
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: the day after the moment. They can't have Thanksgiving to me.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: Ain't saying nothing to you about I like my Thanksgiving
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: on thanksgive you if you do, Westy, you don't have
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: no turkey though. All right, listen, coming up, we're gonna
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: talk about breaking up. It's all ties in together. We'll
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: do that right after this. You're listening show, all right,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: last day to break up. Some say if you do
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: not break up with your significant other today, you are
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: stuck with that significant other until around Martin. Okay, can
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: get out right now? You need to get today. Well,
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: you should have been out. You should have been out,

- 1:10:45Speaker 1: and stuff. Yeah, it's really hard to be at somebody's
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: house that you want to break up with and they family. Yeah,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: it's so good and they like you and like you. Right,
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: you want some power. I don't even I don't want
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: to say bye bye. That's what I want to say. Not.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: I want to say bye bye and pick ups, pick
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: ups to all the marriage dudes that still go by
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: the girl house and visit with the yeah up to them. Wait, wait,
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: why are you crazy? For real? I mean they need tips, Timmy,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: What they need is tips. I got a tip. I
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: got one tip. Year's a tip. You gonna go over
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: there and she gonna have a plate for you on
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: tilate all everything. You Soon as you get in the
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: car and you drive pass out, you throw that damn
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: plate out the window. Okay, right on the highway. That
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: on the freeway. Gotta be on the freeway, gotta be.
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: I have a question I have If you're going over
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: to the Number two's house thanks Giving, what time do
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: you go over there? Oh? Nine thirty. But Steve, when
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: you run to the stove, that's part of your run
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: to the stove. Yeah, and you gotta come over there
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: like you in a hurry to lead ze. He's going
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: on there. But how y'all doing? What's happening with ye?
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: Ain't nothing done, ain't nothing done yet, ain't nothing ready.
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: It's nine thirty in the morning. We just yeah, but look,
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna be right back. I just can't. I just
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: can't want to stick my head and do say hate
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: everybody back. I think you some more optimal. I think
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: another option too. I grie fellas here. Okay, here's another thought.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: Halftime or the football. That's a good time too. Yeah. Yes,
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: that's about thirty minute because you can get out your
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: house clean. Yeah. And how is that? How's that? I'm
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: trying to figure this out. Yeah, we'll see the dealers
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: go to the stove to get some liquor, and liquor
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: stole is open, is deep in the hood. Yeah, but
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: she can't stay that far. You know, your two got
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: to be two miles away. Though you got to do.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: You can't put you are got take ten minutes to
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: get that. See what you ladies don't understand, twos are
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: not always women. Sometimes the two is a man and
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: it's dealt with different. She just call you on the phone.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: I don't need you to bring ass over here today. Okay,
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: you mean her approach with it because women are such
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: better cheaters, Yeah, because she got something else going on her.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: Straight up, I want to give women some advice on cheating.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: They need to do that I got when we got
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: some profound I want to say, well, you know this
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: that that ain't gonna happen. Say it ain't gonna be profound.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: All right, coming up Nephew's break Up Tips for the
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: Holidays at twenty minutes after the hour. We'll be back
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: right after the O God You're listening show. Before we
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: left off, we were talking about, you know, when the
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: best time to break up with someone is during this
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: holiday season? You guys said it was definitely, and even
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: Steve agreed after Thanksgiving? What did you say how to
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: do it? Steve? I think you should break up. You
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: know at Halloween it's the best time to break up,
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: and we missed that window, and you break up on
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: Halloween called that's the way, Hey, I'm leaving Boot and
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: then do it like that? You scared me. Yeah, get
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: on out. I thought you was playing. And then if
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: you if you're gonna see your number two on Thanksgiving,
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: then you got to go early in the morning. Nine thirty.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: Just stuck my head in check on, y'all. I'm gonna
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: come back and get a plate and don't ever come
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: back or go over there at halftime. Halftime you're making
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: a liquor stoe run that deep in the hood. Craigs
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: is open selling, all right, and then Tommy had some
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: tips as well. What do you have Tommy? This is
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: for women. If you catch your man cheating, don't leave him,
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: keep back, show him you support what he does. You
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: see what I'm saying, Show him you support what he does.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: That's that's new. I hate that. I love the stupidity
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: that comes out of the show. That's why Dallas brought
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: us back. I hate that about myself. Yeah, all right, Look,
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: we got more of the shenanigans and stupidity coming up
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: on the Steve Harvey Morning Show and some trending news

- 1:17:23Speaker 1: I mean, well, the reason your year is going by
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: fast is because you enjoy what you do. You had
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: a job which I have set before. Man, I had
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: a job that I hated. That year was a drag man.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: So when you enjoy what you do, that happened. And
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: then it seems like when you get older, they go
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: by fast. Yeah that's what I heard. Yeah, like Carl,

- 1:18:20Speaker 1: we are, guys, last break of the day on this Tuesday. Steve,
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: you have some closing remarks for us. I know you do.
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: I was talking about the goodness of God and all
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: the opportunities that he'll create for you if you just
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: walk up the hallway. Don't get frustrated when doors close
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: in your life. Just walk up the hallway. And I
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: was mentioning that I thought that Muslims always they make
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: going to the Holy the pilgrimage to the Great mecca
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: one of their life's ambitions, and they all try to go.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: I've seen a Netflix special own. It's really really amazing, man,
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: very very respectful. Religion is not what people think it is.
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: Islam is about love and peace, it really is. It's
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: not the propaganda. Islam is not isis. That's not what
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: that is. That's some people who have taken it and
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: been it the other way, just like there's some forms
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: of Christianity that really ain't Christian at all. And so
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: in my travels and coming to Africa and the reason
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: I'm saying to African Americans who are listening to my voice,
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: it's an expensive flight. I got it. I know it is.
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: It costs more than going to Atlanta or something like that.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: But let me tell you something, it is so worth
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: it for your soul. You will be forever changed if
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: you go to Africa. It has been the most eye
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: opening experience I've ever had. Other than allowing God to
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: come into my life and be a major interest part
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: of it, going to Africa has been the most significant
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: thing I've ever done in all of my years. Let
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: me say something to African Americans. You know what makes
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: this play so special? It's when you get off the plane.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: There's an adjustment you have to make. It's adjustment you
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: have to make because people who look like you are everywhere.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: And after you make the adjustment of wow, these people
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: are everywhere. I'm talking about everywhere you go, every restaurant,
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: every hotel, at the airport, positions of power, the supervisors,
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: the people who run the hotels that they're not the maids,
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: they're the managers, are general of every hotel, everywhere you go,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: every restaurant, they own things. And for the first time
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: in my life, I walk around and I cannot tell
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: you what it feels like. For the first time in
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: my life, I've discovered what it feels like to be
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: the majority and not the minority. The feeling of being
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: the majority has encompassed me for the past few weeks,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: and it is an incredible feeling because in America, and
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: God knows, I love America. Man, My opportunities have been there,
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: my family's there, my grandkids are there, my friends are there,
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: my homes are there. I love it. But man, let
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: me tell you something. It is a different feeling you
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: have when you come to a place and you are
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: suddenly not the minority. To be able to walk around
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: for the first time in your life for an extended
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: period of time and not be the minority. It's hard
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: to explain how it feels, but it's such a feeling. Man.
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: It's such a feeling that when you walk in a
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: place that they don't stare at you because you're the
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: only one in there. And every African American knows what
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: I'm talking about. And this is not a knock on
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: anybody else. I'm just talking to mine right now. I'm
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: just talking to the people who can relate to exactly
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: what I'm talking about, because I have friends in all
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: racist walks of life, so this is not about that,
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: but this is just directed to people who are just
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: like me. It is an amazing thing to feel what
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: it feels like to be a majority, not in your neighborhood,
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: but everywhere you go on the streets, in the offices,
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: in the restaurants, at the hospital, at the bus station,
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: at the whole tell, in the neighborhood, at the store,
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: at the gas station, you are the majority. It's an
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: awesome feelings. It's like it's it's such a weight that
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: comes off of you when you're here because you don't
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: have to be a certain kind of way. And if
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: you after an American and you hear me, you know
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: what I'm talking about. If you're real or now now,
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: if you're faking the game and you're trying to fit
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: in to the point where you didn't gave up yourself
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: for that, that's another thing. But I'm talking about those
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: of us who have maintained who we are in spite
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: of it all. And this is a very very positive
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: closing remark, but I want you all to understand that
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: when you come here and you feel what it feels
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: like to be a majority, finally, it's gonna be eye popping,
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: it's gonna be soul quenching, it's gonna be heart rendering.
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: You are going to feel like you've never felt before.
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: You should come to Africa to see what it feels
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: like to be the majority. It's off the chain. I
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: want this for everybody. Not only do I want you
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: to come to see your motherland, I want you to
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: come to see where we're from. This weekend in Ghana,
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: I met the first king I've ever met. I met
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: the king of the Ashantis, which is the biggest tribe
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: in Africa. The majority of Africa is Ashanti. From what
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: I understand, it's the largest. Let me tell you something,
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: I met a king for the first time. I have
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: an even richer understanding of who we really are. Every
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: African American should find it and make it a mission
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: to come to Africa. Those are my closing remarks. Wow,
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: that's it. Y'all. Have a great weekend. Everybody good. I
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: am talk goody. Love to hear from y'all. Y'all have
