- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things. And it's to be true. Good Steve
- 0:22Speaker 1: Hart to the mother for I don't join joining You
- 0:59Speaker 1: gotta use that turn you. You gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. Turn You got to turn them out to
- 1:45Speaker 1: turn turn the water the water go. Come come on
- 1:58Speaker 1: your thing, huh, I sure will. A good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, Come on, come on, y'all
- 2:09Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:12Speaker 1: radio show man. Is God good to me? Unbelievable? Yeah?
- 2:16Speaker 1: It is. And and I can only attribute it to
- 2:19Speaker 1: one thing. It's just been a turnaround in my life.
- 2:23Speaker 1: It's it's been me finally making a decision to see
- 2:27Speaker 1: what all God has from me, but at the same
- 2:30Speaker 1: time trying to be more God wants me to be
- 2:33Speaker 1: instead of more what I want to be. That's the
- 2:35Speaker 1: trade off. You know, you gotta do something now. You know,
- 2:38Speaker 1: you know you want God's blessings, you gotta be willing
- 2:40Speaker 1: to do something on his behalf. Now. I'm not saying
- 2:44Speaker 1: I got it right right now, because I'm just being
- 2:48Speaker 1: real with you. I don't. I don't have it all
- 2:50Speaker 1: together by any stretch of imagination. I'm trying to get
- 2:54Speaker 1: better in several areas. I'm praying about it, I'm working
- 2:57Speaker 1: on it, but you know, it's surprised and I've I've
- 3:01Speaker 1: grown to accept the process. But I'm improving in a
- 3:05Speaker 1: lot of areas from day to day. But I'll tell
- 3:07Speaker 1: you what, man, my success all is going on with
- 3:10Speaker 1: me I can only attribute to this turnaround. And the
- 3:14Speaker 1: turnaround was simple. I turned around and started looking at God.
- 3:19Speaker 1: That was a simple move. Man. I just turned around
- 3:22Speaker 1: and started looking at him, and I was going, Okay,
- 3:24Speaker 1: I get it. Now, you created me. You're the creator.
- 3:29Speaker 1: You have a purpose for me. I understand that. Now.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Now let me just walk in that purpose and let
- 3:36Speaker 1: me get to doing that purpose. Now, my purpose and
- 3:39Speaker 1: your purpose and their purpose and anybody's perfect purpose could
- 3:43Speaker 1: be different, and the way you go about the purpose
- 3:47Speaker 1: can be different. And that's the part that I've really
- 3:50Speaker 1: grown up to. I've opened up my mind to understanding
- 3:54Speaker 1: that everybody's different, nobody's quite the same, and that is
- 3:58Speaker 1: not my right or position to judge, but to be
- 4:02Speaker 1: of a forgiving spirit and understand and forgive those as
- 4:05Speaker 1: I ask God to forgive me. See that's the key.
- 4:10Speaker 1: That's the key, y'all. So when you out here and
- 4:12Speaker 1: you stuck on this unforgiveness, understand in the large prayer
- 4:18Speaker 1: as a segment that says, forgive us our trust passes,
- 4:22Speaker 1: as we forgive those who trust pass against us. There's
- 4:25Speaker 1: another version says forgive us our debts as we forgive
- 4:28Speaker 1: our debt us. It's two different versions, but either one
- 4:32Speaker 1: it means the exact same thing. It means simply this,
- 4:36Speaker 1: that you are asking God to forgive yours like you
- 4:42Speaker 1: forgive others. Forgive us our trust passes as we forgive
- 4:46Speaker 1: those who trust pass against us when I crossed the
- 4:49Speaker 1: line with you, God handle me the way I handle
- 4:53Speaker 1: people when they cross the line with me. You feel
- 4:56Speaker 1: what I'm saying to you, See you understand that. That's
- 4:59Speaker 1: the breakdown of it. Best way I can give it
- 5:01Speaker 1: to you. Forgive us our trust passes as we forgive
- 5:05Speaker 1: those who trust pass against us. Forgive me God for
- 5:09Speaker 1: stepping over the line, like I forgive those that step
- 5:12Speaker 1: over the line on me. That's the hard part, man,
- 5:15Speaker 1: that's the part man. I've really been working on. I've
- 5:18Speaker 1: been really trying to get that together, and so I've
- 5:21Speaker 1: learned forgiveness a lot better over the past five years
- 5:24Speaker 1: than I have before, and it's paid off. I can't
- 5:28Speaker 1: tell you how I was paid off, because now God's
- 5:33Speaker 1: mercy and grace is all over me, because I've learned
- 5:36Speaker 1: to become more graceful. Now I ain't graceful like him,
- 5:42Speaker 1: I ain't merciful like him, but I've learned to become
- 5:45Speaker 1: more more graceful, more merciful, because man, I can't live
- 5:50Speaker 1: my life like that. I just got sick of me. Man,
- 5:53Speaker 1: you're mad at me, now I'm mad at you. You
- 5:56Speaker 1: hate on me, Now I'm gonna hate on you. I
- 5:58Speaker 1: ain't got time for that. Man, I've got you. Look here,
- 6:01Speaker 1: you got somewhere to go. Hate take up time. It's
- 6:05Speaker 1: time consuming. Hating Trying to seek revenge, it's time consuming.
- 6:11Speaker 1: It take up way too much of your time to
- 6:13Speaker 1: seek revenge When vengeance ain't really yours. That's another one.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Vengeance is mine, say if the lord it ain't yours.
- 6:21Speaker 1: So now when you go to seek it to take
- 6:24Speaker 1: it out, guess what you're doing. You're doing something now, man,
- 6:28Speaker 1: Now you off into area that you got no business
- 6:31Speaker 1: being in. And instead of steady climbing your letter like
- 6:34Speaker 1: you're supposed to, you didn't take out time for vengeance
- 6:38Speaker 1: to hate. I'm a hater. I'm gonna be a blogger.
- 6:42Speaker 1: I'm a blog about so and so. When you're blogging
- 6:46Speaker 1: about somebody, and most of these people you don't even
- 6:49Speaker 1: know when you're blogging about somebody, what you're doing, what
- 6:53Speaker 1: you're hating. It takes time to hate. Man. I just decided, Man,
- 7:00Speaker 1: I gotta take all my time and instead of have
- 7:03Speaker 1: doing time and being active, I got to be proactive.
- 7:07Speaker 1: See some people get that confused, being active and being
- 7:11Speaker 1: pro active. Pro is positive. Pro means to move forward.
- 7:16Speaker 1: You know, if you put pro in front of most words,
- 7:20Speaker 1: it's a positive influence. You know, does the pros and
- 7:23Speaker 1: the cons. The pros is the good side, the cons
- 7:27Speaker 1: is what can go wrong the bad side. You know,
- 7:30Speaker 1: if you're active, that's one thing. But if you're pro active,
- 7:34Speaker 1: you're going forward in a positive direction. When you become
- 7:38Speaker 1: a pro that means you the best of the best
- 7:41Speaker 1: at whatever it is you chosen to be. I'm a
- 7:44Speaker 1: pro so somehow, and I know English teacher, grammatical God
- 7:51Speaker 1: the word pro a lot of times when you put
- 7:53Speaker 1: it in front of something, means positiveness. So now a
- 7:58Speaker 1: lot of people think that if you just active, something
- 8:00Speaker 1: are to happen. Well, I'm doing something, and that's what happens. Man.
- 8:04Speaker 1: We just find ourselves doing a lot of busy work
- 8:07Speaker 1: that really ain't bout nothing. It ain't going the way.
- 8:09Speaker 1: It ain't got no direction or no purpose because we
- 8:11Speaker 1: haven't tried to find out the direction of a purpose.
- 8:14Speaker 1: So you wake up and you and your wheels are spinning.
- 8:18Speaker 1: You a hamster on a tread meal. You're running real fast,
- 8:20Speaker 1: but you're just going in the same spot. You understand
- 8:23Speaker 1: that's because you're just out here being active instead of proactive.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Why don't you get God in your life. Why don't
- 8:29Speaker 1: you turn and face your creative and find out how
- 8:32Speaker 1: to become more proactive so you can do things to
- 8:36Speaker 1: move yourself forward. How you can get your life off
- 8:39Speaker 1: the ground and get off the tread meal and really
- 8:42Speaker 1: get it rolling in the direction that it need to
- 8:44Speaker 1: be going. Man, I'm telling you God can make that
- 8:48Speaker 1: change for you if he see you making the change
- 8:51Speaker 1: for him. See the whole key man, the whole kids.
- 8:55Speaker 1: You got to be willing to do something. You got
- 8:57Speaker 1: to give God something to bless bless me God, and
- 9:02Speaker 1: then you go sit on your couch and you ain't trying. Okay,
- 9:05Speaker 1: bless me God with what what? What? What are you
- 9:09Speaker 1: working with? He can't have the people hire you if
- 9:12Speaker 1: you ain't put the app in. Come on, man, the
- 9:15Speaker 1: blessing comes when you make a proactive step, when you
- 9:18Speaker 1: try to do something on the positive side. Look, man,
- 9:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna quit messing around with all these people. I'm
- 9:25Speaker 1: gonna start going home. I'm gonna leave these women loan
- 9:27Speaker 1: out here. You got to say, all right, man, I
- 9:30Speaker 1: ain't going over that at night. I just ain't gonna
- 9:32Speaker 1: get Then God can work with you. God help me
- 9:36Speaker 1: stop seeing all these women. But you steady going over
- 9:39Speaker 1: there calling them setting up stuff. We can't nobody help
- 9:43Speaker 1: you because once you get over there, you already know. See,
- 9:47Speaker 1: you gotta get proactive. You gotta do something yourself. You
- 9:51Speaker 1: make one step, he'll make two. That that's the key, man.
- 9:55Speaker 1: So come on, y'all you're listening show, ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:03Speaker 1: I need it undivided attention is all. It's a promise
- 10:09Speaker 1: that I make every day that this show will never
- 10:13Speaker 1: start the same way two days in a row, so
- 10:16Speaker 1: why would I change it today? Junior, Yes, sir, hit
- 10:22Speaker 1: me with one Jodice cut Ah, take my mud, same boy,
- 10:31Speaker 1: my house in my car. Come on boy, just hit
- 10:36Speaker 1: up you. You can't have it all. Let meging love.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Come on boy, every time we do good words than

- 10:59Speaker 1: leave you alone? Hey man. Them two wrote a song
- 11:09Speaker 1: and had the word drugs in it. Yeah, PHOENI wow
- 11:18Speaker 1: you No, no, thank you, Junior, I'll be judging. No,
- 11:23Speaker 1: no good see it got good to it? No. Yeah.
- 11:32Speaker 1: In the verse two, Charley Strawberry, Hey, good morning, Steve,
- 11:36Speaker 1: call for I'm a Joonasy fan too. What up, Junior, Steve,
- 11:41Speaker 1: Tommy nephew Tommy, I am in the building. He hit
- 11:46Speaker 1: it on the nose this morning. Yes, sir, Tommy, you
- 11:49Speaker 1: the only ones can't sing at all? Mm hmm No,
- 11:53Speaker 1: Hank can No. No, I never never heard say that.
- 12:01Speaker 1: You're the one thing you can say. You don't want
- 12:03Speaker 1: to try to. I know I can't. But wait a minute,
- 12:07Speaker 1: No you don't take don't run over that. No, I
- 12:10Speaker 1: know I can, but I'm saying you just you just
- 12:13Speaker 1: had a song out. Trump is gone. I'll do what
- 12:18Speaker 1: I can do. I can preach. I preach it to
- 12:20Speaker 1: be on a song I was on. I don't hate
- 12:24Speaker 1: on it. I think Tommy can mimic the song. I think, Mimi, Well,
- 12:32Speaker 1: let him sing something right now, like Junior, stop doing
- 12:37Speaker 1: one because I'm about the ruin the image of the
- 12:39Speaker 1: style that you used to I look funny, but yo,
- 12:41Speaker 1: I'm making run and see right now baby that I
- 12:45Speaker 1: ain't saying as a rap. We'll take it. We'll take
- 12:48Speaker 1: it whatever, take what you can get. College just said
- 12:56Speaker 1: you're a star on a scale of one to ten. Yeah,
- 13:02Speaker 1: what level star would you consider yourself? Oh god, I'm
- 13:05Speaker 1: so far down there. I'd say four or five. I'm
- 13:08Speaker 1: not a big star. No, come on there, I don't
- 13:12Speaker 1: think something I got. No, the average person time and
- 13:18Speaker 1: listen to him, ain't on nothing. You're on the radio
- 13:22Speaker 1: and TV. You don't understand home. You in the upper
- 13:26Speaker 1: one point one percent. Really, that's a blessing all of you.
- 13:34Speaker 1: All right, we gotta go. Wow, that's interesting though. Coming
- 13:36Speaker 1: up in thirty two minutes after the hour, asked the
- 13:39Speaker 1: CLO Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in the building right
- 13:42Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show Time
- 13:47Speaker 1: Now for ask the clo this one. Chief Love Officer
- 13:51Speaker 1: Steve Harvey is from Janessa and Chattanooga. Janessa says, I'm
- 13:55Speaker 1: fifty two and my husband is fifty seven, and he's
- 13:58Speaker 1: having trouble performing in the bedroom. The doctor told him
- 14:02Speaker 1: it's because of too much Hennessey, so he cut back
- 14:06Speaker 1: to drinking a few nights a week. That didn't work,
- 14:09Speaker 1: so now we're barely having sex at all. I asked
- 14:13Speaker 1: him to try a pill to see help, but he
- 14:16Speaker 1: refused to. He can drink all of the Hennessey in Tennessee,
- 14:21Speaker 1: but he can't take a little blue pill from me.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Should I crush the pill up in his food? Put
- 14:27Speaker 1: it in the yak, put it in the yak? I don't.
- 14:31Speaker 1: I don't understand that. That don't make no sense that
- 14:35Speaker 1: he don't want to He wouldn't do it. Well, obviously
- 14:38Speaker 1: he don't want to have sex. That's because, brother, you
- 14:43Speaker 1: go to the average man and you tell him you
- 14:45Speaker 1: can fix his sex problem. He fit about all that. Yes,
- 14:49Speaker 1: and then dog and so and then some refields. Yeah,
- 14:53Speaker 1: this dude has another issue. I ain't taking no pill.
- 14:57Speaker 1: What he must not want to house set. That's the
- 15:01Speaker 1: only thing I can do. Even if people don't like
- 15:04Speaker 1: to take pills and stuff. Maybe he's one what you
- 15:09Speaker 1: don't like take a peel or you don't like having sex,
- 15:12Speaker 1: which one in you won't do being hit shooting in
- 15:15Speaker 1: peels up. I have so much of that bitter mess
- 15:19Speaker 1: in the back of my throat. I had a raise
- 15:21Speaker 1: a blade out. You swear, I'm up in him selling dope.
- 15:23Speaker 1: I'd be cutting that peel up. So fine, Well, she
- 15:26Speaker 1: should just crush it up in this food. Yeah, be
- 15:28Speaker 1: snorting viagra. Oh all right, Florentine. We're moving on. Florentine
- 15:35Speaker 1: in New York says I just met a man that
- 15:37Speaker 1: doesn't have a car, so he uses public transportation. He
- 15:41Speaker 1: comes to my house by train and a bus. And
- 15:43Speaker 1: before he gets to my house, I put a blanket
- 15:45Speaker 1: over my sofa so he won't have his street clothes
- 15:48Speaker 1: on my furniture. I also required that he thoroughly washed
- 15:52Speaker 1: his hands and his face before he touches me. He
- 15:55Speaker 1: is irritated by my house rules, So should I be
- 15:59Speaker 1: concerned about his overall hygiene? We haven't had sex, and
- 16:02Speaker 1: I don't want any surprises down there. Wow, he don't
- 16:09Speaker 1: have a car. How old is it? And what city
- 16:13Speaker 1: do you live in? If you live in New York,
- 16:14Speaker 1: that's common. People don't have cars in New York, that's common.
- 16:19Speaker 1: A lot of people live downtown Chicago don't have cars common.
- 16:25Speaker 1: So I'm not saying that's a deal breaker. But hygiene
- 16:29Speaker 1: is a deal breaker. And if he's aggravated, I don't know.
- 16:33Speaker 1: I don't know, now, don't know, I don't know. It
- 16:35Speaker 1: depends on where you live and how older man is.
- 16:37Speaker 1: He ain't got a car. So if he ain't got
- 16:40Speaker 1: a car, what else he wash? Your face? Washing? Is
- 16:44Speaker 1: all that? Public transportation? Yeah? What's wrong with that? He's
- 16:48Speaker 1: touching things and yeah, sitting down on public transportation? Yeah,
- 16:55Speaker 1: I get it. Sound like he needs to come over
- 16:58Speaker 1: there with some more clothes. Yeah, you go to bed
- 17:03Speaker 1: bath from beyond and buy his ass a road, right,
- 17:11Speaker 1: or you could just make him put on a hazmat
- 17:13Speaker 1: suit when he come in. She's probably thought of it.
- 17:19Speaker 1: If Florentine in New York, all right, butch in Columbia,
- 17:25Speaker 1: South Carolina says, I'm a forty four year old man
- 17:28Speaker 1: and I have never been married, nor do I want to.
- 17:31Speaker 1: I have a life partner that recently moved in with
- 17:34Speaker 1: me after we dated for three years. Her parents are
- 17:37Speaker 1: not supportive of our arrangement, and they tell me whenever
- 17:40Speaker 1: they're around me. She doesn't defend us or correct her parents,
- 17:44Speaker 1: even though the life partner thing was her idea. Shouldn't
- 17:48Speaker 1: she be the one to tell her parents to let
- 17:50Speaker 1: it go? Or should I say something? This is to
- 17:54Speaker 1: butch now they still good Butcher? Butch? Yes? Wold Wait,
- 18:02Speaker 1: I did I miss something? What you meant? Forty four
- 18:07Speaker 1: year old man, never been married? It's a woman. If
- 18:09Speaker 1: that's what you're thinking, My partner threw you off. Okay,
- 18:14Speaker 1: wait a minute. So it's a forty four year old
- 18:17Speaker 1: man who is a woman. No, no, no, no, no, Steve,
- 18:23Speaker 1: he's forty four years old, he's been married, he's never
- 18:26Speaker 1: been married. He doesn't he dating a woman? Now, he's
- 18:29Speaker 1: dating a woman who moved in with him, and they
- 18:31Speaker 1: calling theirselfs like Paul call. She thought of that term,
- 18:34Speaker 1: and it's been since three years, but her parents don't
- 18:36Speaker 1: approve of it, and she doesn't check them. He wants
- 18:39Speaker 1: to know, should he, Well, yeah, you can going and
- 18:42Speaker 1: check them. But it's really y'all's business. But you know,
- 18:46Speaker 1: I guess you made a decision that you didn't want
- 18:48Speaker 1: to be married, and she didn't went along with it,
- 18:50Speaker 1: so ain't nothing nobody really can do about it. I
- 18:54Speaker 1: don't know what the discussion is. She went along with
- 18:57Speaker 1: his life part in the business. Y'all cool with it.
- 18:59Speaker 1: That's what it is. M I don't know what else
- 19:02Speaker 1: do we do? Okay, okay, Well, moving on Justice in
- 19:08Speaker 1: Baltimore says, my seventy seven year old dad recently moved
- 19:13Speaker 1: into a move to a memory care facility because of
- 19:17Speaker 1: his dementia, and my mother is acting like she's single.
- 19:21Speaker 1: She goes to every she goes to the casino every weekend,
- 19:24Speaker 1: and she sleeps over at her girlfriend's home a few
- 19:27Speaker 1: nights a week. This is all during COVID and she
- 19:30Speaker 1: doesn't believe in the vascination, in the vaccine. She's been
- 19:35Speaker 1: married for fifty years, so I'm I'm glad she's having
- 19:39Speaker 1: fun and getting out, But how do I convince her
- 19:42Speaker 1: to get the vaccine? I can't help. She's seventy seven,
- 19:48Speaker 1: she don't want a vaccine. You know, there's some people
- 19:52Speaker 1: that don't want to get it. I gave up trying
- 19:54Speaker 1: to convince people. You know your decision. I don't know
- 19:58Speaker 1: how you convince your mamma to get to vac scene.
- 20:00Speaker 1: She acting single. I don't know, man, that's a tough one.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Any suggestions, ladies. I got my second shot yesterday, and
- 20:11Speaker 1: I'll tell you after you get the vaccination. There's a
- 20:15Speaker 1: sense of relief. I feel relieved, you know. I don't know,
- 20:22Speaker 1: I just feel it like seven. Yeah, she's seventy seven
- 20:28Speaker 1: and she's doing things. She's social gathering, she's going to
- 20:31Speaker 1: the casino. She's doing things to put her health at
- 20:34Speaker 1: risk so that she really needs to consider. Maybe she
- 20:39Speaker 1: thinks seventy seven is a good enough run. Wow. Oh
- 20:44Speaker 1: he's living her best life right now. Sounds like all right,
- 20:47Speaker 1: thank you, seeing l O, thank you. Coming up next,
- 20:50Speaker 1: it is a nephew would run that prank back right

- 31:19Speaker 1: Of course anybody give a day, yes, don lovers everywhere everywhere,
- 31:28Speaker 1: all right. So you know they they had a two
- 31:30Speaker 1: week separation because there was an incident. So they had
- 31:34Speaker 1: to go back for more training. Well, President Biden's dogs, um,
- 31:39Speaker 1: you know, to have some discipline. You remember the story.
- 31:42Speaker 1: The President's dogs were sent away earlier this month for
- 31:45Speaker 1: discipline training. They needed more because the younger shepherd Major
- 31:50Speaker 1: uh misbehaven acted very aggressively toward a White House security agent.
- 31:55Speaker 1: President it was it was just he's only three years old. Major,
- 32:07Speaker 1: so um. Anyway, President Biden said in an interview that
- 32:12Speaker 1: Major did not bite someone and penetrate the skin. But
- 32:16Speaker 1: it was a biting incident. Yeah, So it was a
- 32:22Speaker 1: biting incident. He beat the same lawsuit if he bite me. Yeah,
- 32:29Speaker 1: the President, I'm suing somebody in his house because that's
- 32:34Speaker 1: the president's house. So you in. But the dog bit me.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Yeah it was guess what they said. Yeah that's true. Yeah,
- 32:48Speaker 1: Well I'm glad the first dog, the first pets are back. Well,
- 32:53Speaker 1: I mean, dog lovers everywhere are happy. They like the
- 32:58Speaker 1: white was. So what are they dog affairs throughout the country,
- 33:05Speaker 1: for the country, what are they doing? You got a
- 33:07Speaker 1: dog too, what if? But mine ain't doing a damn thing.
- 33:10Speaker 1: But just do you welcome tell me at least all right,
- 33:17Speaker 1: let's go to the news with miss Anne. Come on,
- 33:21Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, miss Anne trip, thank you very much.
- 33:24Speaker 1: And everybody out there knows I'm a dog lover, a
- 33:26Speaker 1: fierce dog lover. This is an trip with the news.
- 33:28Speaker 1: North Korea launched missiles into the sea in Japan. This week.
- 33:31Speaker 1: President Biden holds his first news conference, by the way,
- 33:33Speaker 1: as president, this afternoon, later on this well early this
- 33:36Speaker 1: afternoon or maybe as early as noonish. But he's gonna
- 33:39Speaker 1: hold his first president a news conference as president. So
- 33:42Speaker 1: a lot of folks are going to be covering that,
- 33:43Speaker 1: and so will I authority to say that migrant crossings
- 33:46Speaker 1: at the southern border are on the way to reaching
- 33:49Speaker 1: its highest level in twenty years. President Biden says it
- 33:52Speaker 1: although this news search started with the last administration, that
- 33:54Speaker 1: it's now his administration's responsibility to end it. So to
- 33:57Speaker 1: accomplish that, mister Biden has sent out a diplomatic team
- 34:01Speaker 1: headed by Vice President Harris to try and work the
- 34:03Speaker 1: problem out with the governments of Mexico, Guatemala, El Salador,
- 34:06Speaker 1: and Honduras. Virginia's Governor, Grant Northam, has signed a measure
- 34:11Speaker 1: getting rid of capital punishment in that state. Virginia has
- 34:14Speaker 1: been second only to Texas and the number of people
- 34:16Speaker 1: is put to death one hundred and thirteen since the
- 34:19Speaker 1: Supreme Court reinstated the death penalty in nineteen seventy six.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Virginia now the twenty third state to abolish the chair.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Prosecutors say that two alleged members of the racist Proud
- 34:29Speaker 1: Boys group have pled not guilty to conspiracy and other
- 34:32Speaker 1: charges in connection with the Capitola Hill right in January.
- 34:34Speaker 1: The two men, amongst several alleged members of the extremist
- 34:37Speaker 1: group charge in connection with the insurrection. Authorities accused Ethan
- 34:40Speaker 1: Ordained and Joseph Biggs are trying to disrupt Congress's certification
- 34:44Speaker 1: of Joe Biden's presidential win, coordinate with other Proud Boys
- 34:47Speaker 1: on where to meet and how to storm the capital.
- 34:50Speaker 1: According to pro Publica at the same time talking about
- 34:52Speaker 1: that day, lots of black Metro DC police officers have
- 34:56Speaker 1: long complained about their white racist colleagues, but they say
- 34:59Speaker 1: nothing's were done about. The report says since two thousand
- 35:02Speaker 1: and one, hundreds of black cops have sued the DC
- 35:04Speaker 1: Police Department for racial discrimination. They say white cops would
- 35:08Speaker 1: call black officers the N word. One officer found a
- 35:10Speaker 1: nuse on his locker, and white officers who were friendly
- 35:13Speaker 1: with their black colleagues would call fogs, which stands for
- 35:17Speaker 1: friends of gangsters. History was made in Beantown yesterday as
- 35:21Speaker 1: Boston got its first black and first female mayor. As
- 35:26Speaker 1: president of Boston's a City Council, Kim Janey automatically replaces
- 35:30Speaker 1: Marty Walsh becomes the acting mayor. Walsh has just been
- 35:33Speaker 1: confirmed as president of Blaton's new labor Secretary, and Marty
- 35:36Speaker 1: Walsh is making his own history. By the way, Marty
- 35:39Speaker 1: Walsh is the first former union leader to ever be
- 35:42Speaker 1: given the job of US Secretary of labor. A lot
- 35:45Speaker 1: of folks really happy about that. When Kim Janey, by
- 35:47Speaker 1: the way, was nearly eleven years old, she says she
- 35:49Speaker 1: was chased away from school, the one that she was integrating,
- 35:52Speaker 1: by white men and women throwing rocks and at blacks
- 35:55Speaker 1: and bricks, yelling for her and her black friends to
- 35:57Speaker 1: go back to Africa. Still, she says she loves her city. Finally,
- 36:01Speaker 1: Folsted chrisphy Creme giving folks who have vaccinate the glaze
- 36:04Speaker 1: donut sweet if you get there with the right car.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening show?
- 36:12Speaker 1: All right, Junior is here with guests. Fludd Now the poem,
- 36:15Speaker 1: but sports talk a little early. What you got going on? Sure?
- 36:19Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know what's going on here people. Okay,
- 36:21Speaker 1: yesterday I told you that the fight between Mike Tyson
- 36:24Speaker 1: Devanny holler Field was canceled. Yeah you did. You said
- 36:26Speaker 1: it was what U is back on. They were to
- 36:30Speaker 1: make the old lass minds up. I don't know what
- 36:32Speaker 1: I want to fight a knocking. I don't know what
- 36:34Speaker 1: to do. Somebody didn't have a glasses on the contract
- 36:40Speaker 1: said twenty five thousand when they saw that other Comma
- 36:46Speaker 1: and that other zero and found out that wasn't a
- 36:48Speaker 1: deathmo that it was twenty five million boys. Stop, it's
- 36:52Speaker 1: back home, man. So Mike Tyson confirmed to take a listen.
- 36:55Speaker 1: I don't want anybody to know. You know, the fight
- 36:58Speaker 1: is wrong with me and Holy Field. Holy still the
- 37:01Speaker 1: humble man. I know that needs the man to God,
- 37:04Speaker 1: and I'm God's man, and I'm listening. I'm gonna be
- 37:07Speaker 1: successful May twenty nine, come on More Day weekend. You know,
- 37:18Speaker 1: in all actuality, I'm gonna knock his ass out, all
- 37:24Speaker 1: no actuality, all actuality, I'm gonna knock his ass out.
- 37:31Speaker 1: We're friends, and we've been friends of a long time
- 37:33Speaker 1: and got past the old thing and me biting e
- 37:35Speaker 1: the year, nor that we got past that. Now we're
- 37:37Speaker 1: good friends. But still, even though we're good friends, I'm
- 37:40Speaker 1: gonna knock his dass out and ben't gonna smoke some
- 37:43Speaker 1: week because that's what I do. Now, you who's gonna win?
- 37:51Speaker 1: Who's gonna You know? I got my money, Mike, you know,
- 37:56Speaker 1: I mean, you know it's hard to vote against Mike,
- 37:58Speaker 1: but I'm tasting man. Holy feels a great shape. He's
- 38:02Speaker 1: a piece I kind of don't want nobody to get
- 38:06Speaker 1: knocked out in a fight. Like No, Steve, they both
- 38:11Speaker 1: hit hard. They're gonna have like the leve thing on
- 38:15Speaker 1: and over their heads. Well it's a real fight, huh.
- 38:20Speaker 1: If you holy feel do you go back in the
- 38:22Speaker 1: rain without g protection? Do you do that without ear protection? Yeah? Yeah,
- 38:27Speaker 1: he should tape his heel down. Just trust Mike because
- 38:33Speaker 1: he want to fight again. I mean, you gotta takes
- 38:35Speaker 1: like some jd Ill headphones in there at home. I
- 38:38Speaker 1: would take your muffs or something. We just can't trust relapsed.
- 38:46Speaker 1: You don't never know. But I like the I mean
- 38:48Speaker 1: I don't think they could do it. Steve, you tell
- 38:50Speaker 1: me or Junior? Can they go in with head gear
- 38:53Speaker 1: in a fight like this? I mean they couldn't because
- 38:56Speaker 1: if they fight, it's an exhibition. Really, but there's too
- 38:58Speaker 1: many rounds they not. I'm doing three and I think
- 39:01Speaker 1: how many rounds? Is it eight? About eight rounds? So
- 39:05Speaker 1: they could, but they not because the warriors they're not
- 39:08Speaker 1: gonna do that. I hope head here all right? Well,
- 39:12Speaker 1: thank you, Junior. Coming up at the thirty four after

- 39:32Speaker 1: you guys. YouTube relationship expert Derek Jackson, who just admitted
- 39:37Speaker 1: to cheating on his wife. Well, a lot of people,
- 39:40Speaker 1: including us, had no idea who Derek Jackson is and

- 39:48Speaker 1: released and he admitted on it that he was cheating
- 39:50Speaker 1: on his wife, Denia. So two women claimed they had
- 39:55Speaker 1: an affair with Derek, and they said he told them
- 39:58Speaker 1: at the time. He was separated from his wife for
- 40:00Speaker 1: four years now. In this viral confession video, the couple
- 40:04Speaker 1: tried to put up a united front while holding his
- 40:06Speaker 1: wife's hand. Derek confessed on cheating, to cheating and having
- 40:11Speaker 1: sex with other women. The comments about the video were crazy.
- 40:15Speaker 1: A lot of people said that Derek is full of
- 40:17Speaker 1: it because he referred to himself and the third person
- 40:21Speaker 1: saying yes, Derek Jackson cheated. His wife also addressed her
- 40:25Speaker 1: fans in the video, and she released another video. Miss
- 40:28Speaker 1: Jackson said she would not tolerate his cheating and she
- 40:32Speaker 1: did leave, but now that her husband is seeking God,
- 40:35Speaker 1: she is at peace. By his side. You know what, Yeah,
- 40:42Speaker 1: if Will and Jada going on television has sparked this
- 40:48Speaker 1: rash of let's go talk about it in front of everybody,
- 40:52Speaker 1: but the man, go sit your ass down somewhere. Man,
- 40:57Speaker 1: when you're trying to work it out with your family, manage,
- 41:00Speaker 1: just go working out. What does y'all keep going public? Fault? Yeah,
- 41:04Speaker 1: I don't understand that. It is the need for likes
- 41:07Speaker 1: and views so big now that you're willing to you
- 41:13Speaker 1: want views for everything. I mean, both of them, to
- 41:18Speaker 1: me look crazy. He looked crazy up there talking about it.
- 41:20Speaker 1: She looked crazy, responded to it, And I mean literally,
- 41:25Speaker 1: they just look crazy. Man, Just damn. I don't know,
- 41:32Speaker 1: so I guess a blogger. He got a muscle shirt on,
- 41:35Speaker 1: she got a bonnet on. What's what y'all doing? Yeah,
- 41:39Speaker 1: but people are talking about it. Maybe that's what they
- 41:41Speaker 1: wanted people, you know, but dress up, look like y'all
- 41:45Speaker 1: wanted to stay together. Y'all still look like y'all offending
- 41:48Speaker 1: the divorce. Well, they were holding hands, Steve, I hold
- 41:53Speaker 1: hands at Thanksgiving at the family reunion with people I
- 41:56Speaker 1: don't even like either. Oh no, she just I just him. Yes, Yes,
- 42:04Speaker 1: Derek I cheated. Yes, Derek Jackson, I cheating. He is
- 42:07Speaker 1: standing there holding her hand. It just didn't look like
- 42:10Speaker 1: she was just all the way cool with what he
- 42:14Speaker 1: was saying. No, she didn't look like she wanted to
- 42:18Speaker 1: be there. I don't why ain't out because he's trying
- 42:21Speaker 1: to save you know that part of what he's doing
- 42:24Speaker 1: on YouTube giving relationship advice. I'm sure he's trying to
- 42:27Speaker 1: save that, you know, come back with a testimony or whatever,
- 42:33Speaker 1: you know, the we separated thing. See, that's a lot
- 42:40Speaker 1: of comments. Yeah, man, who don't only heard that one? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 42:45Speaker 1: you're saying that. Men say that when they're cheating. But
- 42:49Speaker 1: let me ask you right, let me ask you guys,
- 42:52Speaker 1: this has anyone heard? Did you guys know who he
- 42:55Speaker 1: was before? Yeah? And it ain't even interested. Yeah, but
- 43:04Speaker 1: his name is out there now. I'm just mad at
- 43:07Speaker 1: them now for sitting up there on the edge of
- 43:09Speaker 1: that bed looking like that. Just don't look right. They
- 43:18Speaker 1: look like to you though, they just looked destitute, like
- 43:22Speaker 1: they was in the unemployment line. Someone like to just
- 43:30Speaker 1: go over there and sit down and and you're not
- 43:34Speaker 1: you're not getting any benefits. They're going through so naturally,
- 43:39Speaker 1: they're gonna look sad and you know, like they're going through,
- 43:42Speaker 1: like they have issues and problems in their marriage. Yeah
- 43:46Speaker 1: we cheated. Yeah, they're not gonna come on looking happy
- 43:51Speaker 1: and yeah, I mean, hey, you have an argument or something,
- 43:57Speaker 1: you know, I mean, how many black women are you're
- 44:00Speaker 1: sitting there? Hold his hand? Though? That don't happen at all?
- 44:03Speaker 1: Who do it? He's junior looking to God. Now, I'm
- 44:08Speaker 1: just saying that. I was looking at him, say, I
- 44:09Speaker 1: feel like I was on a zoom call with dam
- 44:12Speaker 1: I didn't even feel impressionable. Well, we hope they work
- 44:19Speaker 1: it out. Coming up next, the nephew with today's prank
- 44:22Speaker 1: phone call. Right aft, look at it. You're listening to show.

- 49:04Speaker 1: I don't know well actually actually uh, the doctor told me,

- 49:42Speaker 1: I'm just saying that chickens you know. I mean if
- 49:45Speaker 1: I had her breast milk for like six months straight, man,
- 49:49Speaker 1: I could get back hold again. Man, Oh you'll talk

- 54:04Speaker 1: Buggle up, Hold on tight. We got it for you here.
- 54:07Speaker 1: It is very letta subject he facetimed me while he
- 54:11Speaker 1: was with her. Dear Stephen Shirley. I met the love
- 54:14Speaker 1: of my life seven years ago and I was twenty
- 54:16Speaker 1: one years old at the time. He's three years older
- 54:19Speaker 1: than me and had already had a child. He was
- 54:22Speaker 1: my first everything, and he influenced everything I did. I
- 54:26Speaker 1: overlooked a lot of things he did because I was
- 54:28Speaker 1: young and crazy in love. He would be intimate with
- 54:31Speaker 1: the mother of his child, and he didn't try to
- 54:34Speaker 1: hide it. It made me feel like I wasn't good
- 54:36Speaker 1: enough or skilled enough at sex because he kept on
- 54:39Speaker 1: having sex with her. She threw it up in my
- 54:42Speaker 1: face whenever she could, so I finally broke up with him.
- 54:46Speaker 1: I was heartbroken, but managed to stay friends with him.
- 54:50Speaker 1: He ended up having another child with this lady and
- 54:52Speaker 1: told me that it was a big mistake. Then he
- 54:55Speaker 1: started dating this lady he worked with, and they had
- 54:58Speaker 1: a baby together. After his third child was born, he
- 55:02Speaker 1: came to me humbly and said he was so tired
- 55:05Speaker 1: of how he'd been doing things and he wanted me back.
- 55:08Speaker 1: He also said he was ready to get married. We
- 55:11Speaker 1: got back together eight months ago, and I'm pregnant. He
- 55:15Speaker 1: seemed to be happy when I told him, and he
- 55:18Speaker 1: said he would have my dream wedding. We would have
- 55:20Speaker 1: my dream wedding, but that's on hold for now. A
- 55:23Speaker 1: week ago, he went to visit his youngest son and
- 55:27Speaker 1: we were on FaceTime as he drove. When he got
- 55:30Speaker 1: out of the car, he thought he had hung up
- 55:33Speaker 1: and he must have thrown his phone in his pocket.
- 55:36Speaker 1: I heard a female mumbling, and then I clearly heard
- 55:40Speaker 1: her ask if he had a condom. Then I heard
- 55:43Speaker 1: a lot of moaning. I hung up and I got
- 55:46Speaker 1: physically ill. When he came back, I didn't let him
- 55:49Speaker 1: know what i'd heard. I'm about to deliver his fourth
- 55:52Speaker 1: child and he's still a liar and a cheater. I
- 55:55Speaker 1: don't want to be a single parent. What should I
- 55:58Speaker 1: do now? Well, girl, you gotta get it together, I
- 56:02Speaker 1: mean quickly. And in a hurry, you're you're about to
- 56:05Speaker 1: deliver his fourth child. You gotta just stop being stupid.
- 56:08Speaker 1: These are some stupid moves you've been making, you know,
- 56:11Speaker 1: with this man. This guy's been using you, lying to
- 56:14Speaker 1: you all along, and you keep on falling for it.
- 56:18Speaker 1: I know you're young, but I mean you could have
- 56:22Speaker 1: just asked him to use a condom. You could have
- 56:25Speaker 1: to use protection. It's okay to to say that you
- 56:30Speaker 1: know or did you want to get pregnant by him.
- 56:32Speaker 1: I'm not so sure you didn't, you know because you
- 56:35Speaker 1: were so happy to have him back. I mean, and
- 56:38Speaker 1: did you think that a baby would keep him well,
- 56:41Speaker 1: as you can clearly see, it didn't. And now although
- 56:44Speaker 1: you may not want to be a single parent, you
- 56:47Speaker 1: will be. This guy is a loser in every sense
- 56:50Speaker 1: of the word, who just keeps dropping babies wherever he goes.
- 56:54Speaker 1: I mean, he's not thinking about protection. And you know
- 56:59Speaker 1: you never once said at least he's a good father,
- 57:02Speaker 1: because he doesn't. He's not. He's not, let's face it,
- 57:05Speaker 1: he's too busy making kids and he's immature like a kid.
- 57:10Speaker 1: I'm sorry you loved him more than you loved you
- 57:13Speaker 1: and got yourself caught up in his game of lies
- 57:15Speaker 1: and deceit. But please know that it is not the
- 57:18Speaker 1: end of the world for you. First of all, please
- 57:21Speaker 1: don't even consider marrying this guy right now. I mean
- 57:25Speaker 1: you need to walk away from this toxic relationship. It
- 57:29Speaker 1: is now time to make plans for a future without him.
- 57:33Speaker 1: Use this time. I'm telling you to use this time
- 57:35Speaker 1: to figure out how are you going to take care
- 57:37Speaker 1: of your baby and taking that baby daddy to court
- 57:41Speaker 1: right now? Steve, Wow, Oh, let's love it here. Man. Listen.
- 57:50Speaker 1: I feel bad for this lady right here, this young girl.
- 57:54Speaker 1: But this started wrong, and it's wrong from the very beginning,
- 57:59Speaker 1: and there are corrections being made along the way. And
- 58:02Speaker 1: now you, faced with the ultimatum at the end of
- 58:05Speaker 1: this letter, you're simply saying, I don't want to be
- 58:07Speaker 1: a single parent. What should I do? Now? Well, let
- 58:12Speaker 1: me show you what has happened so I can paint
- 58:14Speaker 1: a clear picture. Fee you met the love of your
- 58:18Speaker 1: life seven years ago. Stop saying that, because if this
- 58:23Speaker 1: is the love of your life, your life is headed
- 58:26Speaker 1: for a loveless, remaining livelihood. This can't be the love
- 58:32Speaker 1: of your life. This was the love of your life,
- 58:35Speaker 1: so you thought up until that point, but after you
- 58:39Speaker 1: met him, he started proving to you he was not
- 58:43Speaker 1: the love of your life. You've got to get a
- 58:45Speaker 1: better definition of love of your life. You gotta learn
- 58:49Speaker 1: how to let somebody else love you that knows how
- 58:51Speaker 1: to do it. Twenty one, he's three years older, he
- 58:55Speaker 1: already had a child. He was my first everything. He
- 58:59Speaker 1: influenced everything I did. I overlooked a lot of things
- 59:03Speaker 1: he did because I was young and crazy in love.
- 59:06Speaker 1: Right there, right there, you made the statement, young lady,
- 59:12Speaker 1: that I want you to pay attention to I overlooked
- 59:15Speaker 1: a lot of things he did because I was young
- 59:17Speaker 1: and crazy in love. He would be intimate with the
- 59:21Speaker 1: mother of his child. He didn't try to hide it,
- 59:26Speaker 1: so he just throw it up in your face. It
- 59:31Speaker 1: made me feel like I wasn't good enough or skilled
- 59:33Speaker 1: enough at sex because he kept having sex with her,
- 59:37Speaker 1: and you knew he was kept having sex with her,
- 59:40Speaker 1: and you allowed him to have sex, and then he
- 59:44Speaker 1: kept having sexual and then the lady threw it up
- 59:46Speaker 1: in your face whenever she could. And now you got
- 59:49Speaker 1: other women calling you about the love of your life,
- 59:56Speaker 1: and the love of your life is screwing all these
- 59:59Speaker 1: other people. I was heart broken, but I managed to
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: stay friends with him. Why why what has he done
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: that's friendly towards you? You know, we need to do
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: two things right now. When we come back, we talk
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: about it. You need a new definition of friend and
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: you need a new definition of love. All right, Steve,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: hold onto that thought. We'll get part two of your
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour's
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: subject he facetimed me while he was with her. We'll
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: get back into it right after this. You're listening show,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: all right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: The subject he facetimed me when he was with her,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: This young lady who I have no jokes for because
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: I'm heartbroken for her because at twenty one, she claimed
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: to have met the love of her life, which was
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: just the love of her life up at that point.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: But this guy has shown her no respect or love.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: He was your first everything. He influenced everything you did,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: and a mistake you made was I overlooked a lot
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: of things he did because I was young and crazy
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: in love. So what did you do? You allowed him
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: to have sex with other women? Repeatedly that you knew
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: about it. They had other women called you to confront
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: you about them screwing that he was doing with them.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: You allowed it, and you allowed him to put it
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: in front of your face because he didn't care that
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: you knew about it. Okay, these are the stuff you did.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: You allowed to happen because he was young and crazy
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: in love. Now let's move on. So finally you broke
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: up with him. You say, but y'all remain friends. Why
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: what friendly was he towards you? He's done nothing but
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: dog you the entire time. That ain't love or friendship.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: I was heartbroken, but man of state friends with window.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: He ended up having another child with this lady. So
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: now that lady they had another baby and told me
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: that it was a big mistake. Then he started dating
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: a lady from work and they had a baby together. Now,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: after the third child was born, he came to you
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: humbly and said he was so tired of how he's
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: been doing things that he wanted you back. He also
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: said he was ready to get married. Oh, he said
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: everything you wanted to him. We got bit together eight
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: months ago, and I'm pregnant. He seemed to be so happy.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: When I told him, he said we would have my
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: dream wedding. But all that's on the whole now. You
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: know why because a week ago he went to visit
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: his youngest son and we were on FaceTime as he drove.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: When he got out the car, he thought he had
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: hung up and he must have thrown his phone in
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: his pocket. You heard a female mumling and you clearly
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: heard her ask if he had a condom. Then I
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: heard a lot of moaning. I hung up and I
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: got physically ill. When he came back, he goes to
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: other mistakes. I did not let him know what I heard.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: Now I'm about to deliver his fourth child. He's still
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: a liar and a cheetah, has been at the entire time,
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: and I don't want to be a single parent. What
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: should I do now? So, a young lady, you don't
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: want to be a single parent, So the only other
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: option is this. You can get married and ruin your
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: entire remaining life by being married to this liar and
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: this cheetah. All you could take this blessing, this baby.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: Learn from your mistakes. Never allow another person to walk
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: over you. Take your child, raise him, and then wait
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: on your real love of your life to come along.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: You still young, You're still young. This is not the
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: end of the world for you. The baby is not
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: a mistake. It's not. The baby is fine. The baby
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: will you'll You'll be fine. You will manage, just like
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: every other single parent does. Do not marry this man.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: Now he gonna have to get his But it's not
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: up you. It's not up to you to give it
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: to it. Let me tell you something, ladies, y'all waste
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: a lot of time being scorn, and I do understand it,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: and I ain't saying it shouldn't be that way. Because
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: you hurt, you hurt. He'll have no fury like a
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: woman scorn. I used to think it was a Bible verse.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: I swear to God I did. I thought it was
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: a Bible verse. It's not, but it sounds so true.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: And they use the words scorn. Scorn is a biblical turn.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: That's why I thought it was a Bible verse. But
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: it's not. So. Now you have it, you have a
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: decision to make. Cut your losses from this man. Stop
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: giving yourself to this man. Stop thinking you can change
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: this man, Stop hoping this man changes. You may have
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: been the love he may have been the love of
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: your life, but listen to me, young sister, you have
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: never been the love of his life ever and you
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: are not now. So let God handle him. Oh please
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: know he got his coming. Ladies dudes that do like this,
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: they don't get away scott for him. Just why. I
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: just need you to know that. And he'll probably have
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: more kids, you know, with other women. Yeah. I mean
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: a lot of stuffs gonna happen, But it don't need
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: to happen in your face though. No. You could take
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: your baby and get along and start over. And it
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: happens all the time. There are men who accept women
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: who have children with open arms. Become great fathers, great families,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: They adopted kids, the kids take they name. All types
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: of stuff happen. Don't think it's hopeless for you. But
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: please do not let your yearning not to be a
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: single parent, wanting not to be a single parent, be
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: in your decision in fact of whether you marry this worthless,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: no good human being. For don't compound your mistakes. Your
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: mistake was taking him back. Don't compound it by keeping him.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: Let it go, little girl, Uncle Steve telling you walk off,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: cut your losses, Tell him what you know so he
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: knows ain't going about your Thank you Post your comments

- 1:07:15Speaker 1: I say anything else, I want everybody to watch the

- 1:07:32Speaker 1: that gets the ten thousand dollars pack Rat Foundation for
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Education Scholarship. That's my foundation. We gave ten thousand dollars

- 1:07:42Speaker 1: winning fraternity and the winning sorority. And we're doing this
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: during the NAACP awards on b et this weekend. She'll
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: want to see if you will be fair about that,
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: because everything in me knows the Signals is gonna get
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: it into zut. You know why we're playing this little
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: Reagan ass game with you. Chill. But I will say this,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: thank you for the shout out to the Blue and
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: White family five Beta Sigma and Zata five beta. But now,
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: why are we talking about challenges? Okay, the best verses? Now,
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: I know they had other verses and everybody was good
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: and everything, but the best one they about to have
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: is the Osley brothers. What going up against the Elements?
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: Barked when at fire Steve, ste Girl. They don't even know,
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: they don't know, they know nobody on this versus that's
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: in the head. The hitch that these boys got, that's right, right,
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: that's right, that's right, that's right, and stuff that we recognize,
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: and catalogs that go back decades and everything. I remember
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: the first time I saw the Elements, I saw him
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: with Brothers Johnson the Emotions Omaha Nebraska Civic Auditorium in
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: the seventies, and matter of fact, it was the end
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: of the sixties in the seventies. But oh, yeah, do
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: it do it for y'all? Yes, that's all that dude
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: of noncl Yeah, and you was looking around and see
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: what was happening. Yeah, you're looking around and see what's
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: happening for y'all. Yes, Booty exploded me up out of
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: my chail. The kids don't know about the good song devotion,
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: keep your hands to the sky show. Yeah, that's what
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: I'm talking about, Steve Hobey. But wait, mans, Steve, see,
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: I gotta talk about the Osley Brothers though, because we're
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: gonna get him some love too, because Me and Junior
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: love song, Me and Junior love song is sensuality. And
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: then when he puts me out the house, he plays
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: let me down easy to put me right out the house,
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: right out the house, and it lets me down easy.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: I can drive all the way to the carib Junior
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: put me out the house. Yeah, let me down easy. Share.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: I love you, Thank yous. Right, They're all I need, Junior,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: y'all all I need? Yes. Coming up at the top
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: of the hour, Carla's reality Update. Right after this, you're
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Morning Show. All right, here we go.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: Tommy introduced a girl, Carla Ladies and gentlemen, she is here.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: She's got reality update. It's Carla Ferrell with what reality update?
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: Thank you? Coming in hot, Yeah, coming in hot. All right,
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: we're gonna flip the script this week. We're gonna talk
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: about real households of Atlanta. The ladies and attended, well,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: they were invited to a boring Halloween party, I mean,
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: so whack. And then things got bad because, yeah, the
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: newcomer LaToya, she's rude. She's very very rude. She came
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: to the party, which was at one of the new castmates.
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: She's a friend of the castmates on the show, and
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: it was her name is Paulin. And they came to
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: Falent House, I should say, and LaToya was disrespectful. She
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: was saying, what you know, you got this big old house.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: You don't have servants in here serving us. It was
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: just what kind of who are you? Why do you
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: say this kind of thing to this woman first time
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: coming to her house? Anyway, that was that get to
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: wearing sit Down's sister. Anyway, Kenya was salty with LaToya
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: because Marlow told Kenya Marlow and Kenya friends go figure.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: But Marlow told Kenya that LaToya told all of her
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: business regarding a divorce from her husband Mark, and Kenya
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: didn't want some of that information out yet. So Kenya
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: was talking to LaToya about that. So I remember now
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: this was a Halloween party, so they were dressed in costumes.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: LaToya did not take Kenya seriously because Kenya had on
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: this Native American costume and she had this Native American
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: Indi head dress as part of her costume. And she
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: and Brad vow they had to release an apology statement
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: because after this particular episode aired, members of the Native
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: American community they were offended by Kenya's costume and so Kenya, yeah,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: Kenyan brothe network they have issued apologies for filming Kenya
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: wearing that Native American head dress, and that was deemed
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: defensive and racist. So can you release a statement? She said,
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: I want to sincerely apologize for inappropriately wearing the Native
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: American head dress as a costume. I now realized that
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: this was both disrespectful and insensitive and I would have
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: never done it if I had knowledge and understanding beforehand beforehand.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: And then Kenya went on to say, when you know better,
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: you do better. And I am genuinely sorry. So that
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: was her apology. There you go. So she has apologized,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: but I still was wondering when when I saw the episode,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: I was like, Wow, why did she wear that? Why
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: didn't anybody say anything to her? Yeah about that? So anyway,
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: shout out to newcomer Drew Sidora. I like her. She
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: and her husband Ralph, they talked to her. She has
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: a nine year old son. They are married and they
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: have kids together. But she has a nine year old son,
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: and she and her husband talked to her son about
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: his biological dad and having a relationship because he's getting
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: out of prison and the dad wants to have a
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: relationship with the son, and the son is not quite
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: all the way there yet. But her husband, Ralph, he
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: is really telling his son, his stepson, you need to
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: have a relationship with your biological dad. So I thought
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: that was just a cool moment to see them talk
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: to him as a family. And you know, Ralph was
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: telling his stepson, you know my dad wasn't around. It's
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: important you got me. You got two dads. You got me,
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: and you have your dad that's about to be releasing.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: You know, you need to develop a relationship. The little
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: boy wasn't trying to hear it. He's not ready yet,
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: but they expect that and he said maybe. So they
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: were making progress. But I thought that was cool, black family,
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: black love. I thought that was a very cool, positive moment. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: and moving on, married to medicine Simon and Jackie, Doctor
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: Jackie and doctor Simone. They are still beef and I
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: want them to be girls again. I want them to
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: squash this beef. Come on, yes, yes, and Contessa, she
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: went off at a needless cultural Indian family celebration. I
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: didn't like how Contessa behaved on that particular episode. Come on,
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: not Contesta. You got some manners. You can do better
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: than that. You are a doctor after all. So anyway,
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: that is reality update. I am done. The countdown is
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: on for Ready to Love, the reality dating show hosted
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: by the Nephew And when is it coming out? Nephew?
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: That is April second, nine, eighth Central on own. We'll
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: be watching, all right, Thanks guys. More trending stories on

- 1:15:38Speaker 1: We are not finished. We cannot put a fork in it. Okay,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: midterms are next year. Get ready. They worked it so
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: hard on the stopping the vote, but they won't do
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: gun laws. I know, I know. Meanwhile, people are just
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: getting guns and you know, going crazy. They rather stop
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: your vote to stop to kill it. Isn't that something?
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: Isn't that something? I mean, no one has put it
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: that way, but that's exactly what it is. That's it's
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: very simple. The Republican Party, the senators, they are bought
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: and paid for by the n r A. It's no
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: way around that. It's you can't be a decent human
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: being and not want to have some type of gun
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: controls unless someone's paying you to not have gun controls.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: It's the only way, and you're willing to sacrifice a lot.

- 1:17:24Speaker 1: and found out that wasn't a Deacimo, that it was
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: twenty five million. Boys. Stop, it's back home, man. So
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: Mike Tyson confirmed to take a listen. I ain't want
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: to anybody to know, you know, the fight is on
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: with me and holy Field and Holy feel the humble man.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: I know that, and he's the man the guard, But
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: I'm Guard's man, and I'm listening. I'm gonna be successful.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: May twenty ninth. Come on, Tommy on the field made

- 1:18:12Speaker 1: year and order that we got past that. Now we're
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: good friends. But still even though we're good friends, I'm
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: gonna knock his ass out and didn't gonna smoke some
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: week because that's what I do. Now. If you're w
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: who's gonna win this, Steve, you know I got my
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: money off Mike, you know, I mean, you know it's
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: hard to vote against Mike. But I'm gonna tell you something, Man,
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: Holy Fields in great shape. I kind of don't want
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: nobody to get knocked out in a fight like this.
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: I don't think they no, Steve. They both hit hard.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: They're gonna have like the Leve thing on and over
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: their heads. Well, okay, it's a real fight. Huh. If
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: you holy feel do you go back in the rain
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: without protection? Do you do that without ear protection? Yeah? Yeah,
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: he should tape his eel down. You just trust Mike
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: because he want to fight again. I mean, you gotta
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: takets like some jd Iel headphones in there. Someone you
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: just don't. I would take down muffs or something stupid. Well,
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: you just change trust, you don't relapse. You don't never know.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: But I like the I mean I don't think they
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: could do it, Steve, you tell me or a junior.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: Can they go in with headgear and a fight like this?
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: I mean they could because as they fight, it's an exhibition, really,
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: but there's too many rounds. They're not doing three and
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: I think how many rounds is it eight? About eight rounds?
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: So they could, but they not because they probably the warriors,
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: They're not gonna do that. I vote for headgear. All right, Well,
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: thank you, junior. Coming up, it is our last break

- 1:21:17Speaker 1: I mean, you know, the Image Awards are more important
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: to me. And I'll tell you why. It's because I
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: started with just a black fan base, that's all I had,
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: and I've never left that fan base behind. You know,
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: I've always I've always wanted to make black people, especially
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: proud to turn on the TV. Or cut on the
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: radio and say that's how I do. Steve he with us,
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: you know, regardless as to what some people may say
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: who don't know me, my heart has been for black people.
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: Do I love all people? Yeah, But my efforts, my
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: behind the scenes work, my foundation, the things I tried
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: to be first at was for the uplifting edification of
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: black people, whether it's in Africa or here in the
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: United States. Even when I visit my dear friends in
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: the UAE, I'm always talking about how do I expose
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: black children to this? How can I help my country
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: of Africa, you know, my continent of Africa? How do
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: I I'm always thinking in terms of that. I'm always man,
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: and so the image of wars are important to me
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: because it's the image of us. It's how we see
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: each other. And if don't know, nobody else recognize me,
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: as long as mine recognized asked me, I'll be fine
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: because I get canceled by everybody else. Black people have
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: never canceled me ever, not one time ever. Love you, Steven, ever,
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: You're the man. Give you love right back because you
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: give us love. Lorn I. That's so evidently clear to me. Man,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: I mean I've tried to have a track record with
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: us with black folk. You know, I've tried to skip that.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: I haven't tried I have and women, Oh lord, we
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: know how much you love black women. I love black women.
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: I stand up for black women. I don't let nobody
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: dog them like I don't took Stacy Abrams under my wing.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: U first late, I mean first Vice president, Madam Vice President,
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: Kamala Harris. I take all these sisters, man to Mika MARII,
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: y'all not fit the dog, none of these sisters, not
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: on my watch. I'm not gonna let you do it.
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: This thing that the Republicans got to stop Stacey Abrams.
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: No you're not. No, you're not keep your hands off
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: of her now, because she got some men behind her
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: too that care about her and respect and love what
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: she hadnt done for us, you know. And so no, man,
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: I'm that way. This is I'm just so man. I'm
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: just grateful. Man. You know, one of the things I
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: always asked God for, and this is kind of personal,
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: you know, I've always got asked God to make me relevant.
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: You know. I wanted to have a relevant life. You know,
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: I wanted to have a life where it mattered that
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: it wasn't just about me and what I bought or
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: what I became, or what I had or how many shows.
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: I wanted to be relevant. And what I meant by
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: that was I wanted to mean something to people. I
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: was playing golf in Orlando last week and I had
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: on a mask and I was walking out this door
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: to meet my buddy down at the golf course. And
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: this big dude from Memphor said, Uncle, Uncle, UNC, and
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: I'm going to hold down here, called me UNC. And
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: I turned around as a black dude, and I turned
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: I said, what's up, bro? He said, Man, you don't
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: know me, but I just wanted to tell you. You
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: change my life. Man. And he got emotional, and this
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: is a big dude now, he said, Man, I used
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: to I had a trap house, he said, because of you.
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: I stopped. He said, I'm a trucker now, Man, I
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: got four trucks out on the road, he said, I
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: didn't took seven dudes out to trap house and got
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: them driving their own rigs, making a couple hundred thousand
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: dollars a year for their families. He said, this all
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: causing you. Man. He wrote me a long letter and
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: send it up to my room. And a gift. He
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: gave me some socks. He just wanted to give me something.
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: But he had nuggets round his neck and nugget rings
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: on this. You understand it's real old, but he had
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: a own. But he was serious. Man. He said, Man,
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: you don't know how many of us out here listening
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: to you, man, because you real with it. And I
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: thank God for that, because that's all I wanted. I
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: just wanted to be relevant. And God has done just
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: that in my life. Man, and I hope that I
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: got many more years. But God has made me relevant.
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: And all the praise and honor go to God because
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: I didn't even know how to make myself relevant. Everything
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: I am to day, this off any value is because
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, God Almighty is
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: everything to me. Then my clothing remarks today, see y'all tomorrow.
