• 0:15
Speaker 1: million bus things. And it's good Steve listening together for Steve.
• 0:38
Speaker 1: I don't joy. You gotta turn you, you gotta turn
• 1:41
Speaker 1: to turnout, turn got to turn out to turn the
• 1:47
Speaker 1: water to the water. Got me come come on your baby,
• 2:01
Speaker 1: Uh huh, I shall well, good morning everybody. You're listening
• 2:06
Speaker 1: to the voice, Come on dig me now, one and
• 2:08
Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey Man got a radio show. Wow man,
• 2:12
Speaker 1: how good has God been to me? You know? Today?
• 2:15
Speaker 1: Let me get right to it because I'm I'm kind
• 2:18
Speaker 1: of feeling this today, and I'm pretty sure that's just
• 2:21
Speaker 1: quite a few of you who go through the same
• 2:23
Speaker 1: things today. Today was just a little tough morning from
• 2:28
Speaker 1: me because I didn't want to leave home yesterday. You know,
• 2:32
Speaker 1: I wanted to stay home a little. I just gotten home,
• 2:35
Speaker 1: you know, I gotta go again. And sometimes, you know,
• 2:38
Speaker 1: just the weight of all that you have to do
• 2:41
Speaker 1: just gets on you sometimes and sometimes you don't feel
• 2:44
Speaker 1: like doing it today. Huh. You know, I'm just talking
• 2:50
Speaker 1: to those who feel this way every now and then,
• 2:52
Speaker 1: and I'm assuming that would be everybody, because I don't
• 2:55
Speaker 1: know nobody who can just ply through this thing without
• 2:58
Speaker 1: having those days. Well, what do you do when it
• 3:03
Speaker 1: gets hard to stay up? What do you do when
• 3:06
Speaker 1: it gets hard to be positive? What do you do
• 3:10
Speaker 1: when it seems like things aren't happening for you fast
• 3:14
Speaker 1: enough or in the time frame that you thought it
• 3:17
Speaker 1: was going. What do you do? And the reason that
• 3:20
Speaker 1: I guess I chose to speak about this this morning
• 3:23
Speaker 1: is because I'm having one of those days. Because I
• 3:26
Speaker 1: had one of those days yesterday. It's just a tough day.
• 3:29
Speaker 1: I really can't explain. It's nothing really in particular bad happened.
• 3:35
Speaker 1: It's just I think the weight of all that's going
• 3:41
Speaker 1: on started to feel heavy to me. And so what
• 3:47
Speaker 1: do you do when when you have days like that,
• 3:50
Speaker 1: when it's hard to be positive, when it's hard to
• 3:52
Speaker 1: stay up? Okay, here's what I had to start doing
• 3:55
Speaker 1: this morning. Now I haven't completed it. Can I just
• 3:59
Speaker 1: be real with you. I haven't completed it, but I
• 4:03
Speaker 1: am processing it out because I know what to do.
• 4:07
Speaker 1: You know, been there, done that. I didn't had that
• 4:09
Speaker 1: pain before. I know what to do. You know, if
• 4:10
Speaker 1: I sprain my finger, I know what to do now.
• 4:13
Speaker 1: You know the first sprain I had, O Lord, I
• 4:15
Speaker 1: thought it was broke. I thought I got me handac half.
• 4:18
Speaker 1: But now if I spray my finger, I know what
• 4:19
Speaker 1: to do. So since I've been in this position, in
• 4:22
Speaker 1: this hole so many times before and God has always
• 4:25
Speaker 1: gotten me through it, I decided I've got to start
• 4:28
Speaker 1: the process today. Want to hear are some things Now,
• 4:33
Speaker 1: I'm gonna get to the big one last. And one
• 4:36
Speaker 1: of the things I do is I remember the plan,
• 4:41
Speaker 1: sit down, and I consciously think about the goals I've set.
• 4:46
Speaker 1: I go over them. See, I've gotten mine down on
• 4:48
Speaker 1: an iPad so I can pull them out anywhere I
• 4:51
Speaker 1: am and pull them up. And I've got two lists
• 4:54
Speaker 1: that I've made. I've got a list of things that
• 4:56
Speaker 1: I know I can accomplish if I just keep working
• 5:00
Speaker 1: hard and if some couple of things just fall into
• 5:03
Speaker 1: place that I can see. Then I got a list
• 5:06
Speaker 1: of things that I'm planning on accomplishing. And then I
• 5:09
Speaker 1: have a second list. And the heading of this list
• 5:13
Speaker 1: is called only God can help me now. And on
• 5:16
Speaker 1: this list it's things that I'm aspiring for or things
• 5:21
Speaker 1: that I'm hoping to that in order for them to happen,
• 5:24
Speaker 1: I absolutely have to have God's help. That's my favorite list.
• 5:32
Speaker 1: It's the list that I have of the things that
• 5:35
Speaker 1: I don't see no way it can happen. I'm just
• 5:39
Speaker 1: operating on faith and the hope that God hear me,
• 5:43
Speaker 1: and so sometimes, man, when you gotta when I have
• 5:47
Speaker 1: this list of who only God can help me, now
• 5:51
Speaker 1: that list is stuff that I cannot see. I'm just
• 5:55
Speaker 1: operating on faith that God is so much bigger than me,
• 5:59
Speaker 1: that he's so much more capable than I am, that
• 6:02
Speaker 1: I can actually acquire some things in my life, as
• 6:05
Speaker 1: he's proven to me time and time again up to
• 6:07
Speaker 1: this point, that He's willing to do for me if
• 6:10
Speaker 1: I'm willing to just give him some of my life.
• 6:13
Speaker 1: That's the only why I can't explain my existence today.
• 6:17
Speaker 1: You know, I began the conversation with my wife, how
• 6:20
Speaker 1: do I write a book that becomes so wildly successful?
• 6:24
Speaker 1: That would be God. That's only God, Because if you
• 6:28
Speaker 1: can plan to sit down and write a wildly successful book,
• 6:31
Speaker 1: I'd have Benden sat down and did it, and so
• 6:34
Speaker 1: would you, so that would be God. How it got
• 6:38
Speaker 1: purchased to become a movie when that was not my
• 6:41
Speaker 1: intent when I wrote the book at all. Again, that
• 6:45
Speaker 1: would be God, right, there has to be, because if
• 6:49
Speaker 1: I can't explain it and it is by no doing
• 6:52
Speaker 1: of my own, then who did it? So when I
• 6:55
Speaker 1: get down in days like this, I remember the goal.
• 6:58
Speaker 1: I remember the plan. I remember the journey. I think
• 7:02
Speaker 1: about of all the things God has bought me through,
• 7:04
Speaker 1: how did I even get to this point? Yeah, I
• 7:06
Speaker 1: might be having a little bummer over day. Yeah I
• 7:09
Speaker 1: was a little down yesterday. Yeah, my bio rhythms is off,
• 7:12
Speaker 1: whatever they want to call it. Yeah, I'm just having
• 7:15
Speaker 1: one of those days. I feel a little bit heavy.
• 7:17
Speaker 1: I need a vacation real bad. I need some time
• 7:20
Speaker 1: off to just go and regenerate. But right now, man,
• 7:23
  Speaker 1: I ain't got that. So guess what I do. I
• 7:25
Speaker 1: gotta start remembering the plan. I gotta start remembering the goals.
• 7:29
Speaker 1: I gotta start thinking about all the things that God
• 7:32
Speaker 1: has done for me and how He has bought me
• 7:34
Speaker 1: this far, and the blessings that I have instead of
• 7:37
  Speaker 1: what I don't have. And that's what I'm in the
• 7:39
Speaker 1: process of doing this morning, And on the commercial breaks,
• 7:42
Speaker 1: I'm gonna pull out my iPad and I'm gonna go
• 7:44
Speaker 1: over my two lists, and I'm gonna read my little
• 7:46
Speaker 1: list of what I think I can accomplish, and I'm
• 7:49
Speaker 1: gonna really read that only God can Help Me Now list,
• 7:52
Speaker 1: because that's the list that's big. That's the part where
• 7:54
Speaker 1: I've been telling y'all. I said, quit telling God how
• 7:58
Speaker 1: big your problems are. Start telling your problems how big
• 8:02
Speaker 1: your God is. See And that's why I got to
• 8:04
Speaker 1: sit down and do this morning. And then sometimes, man,
• 8:07
Speaker 1: you got to stay still. That's the other part. You
• 8:11
Speaker 1: got to stay still. You gotta quit moving for a second,
• 8:16
Speaker 1: because sometimes it feel like you're running on a treadmill
• 8:20
Speaker 1: and you really ain't you going somewhere, but it feel
• 8:22
Speaker 1: like you're running on a treadmill. Well, when when you
• 8:25
Speaker 1: get that feeling, sometimes you got to stay still. And
• 8:29
Speaker 1: then when you stay still, sometimes you gotta fight to
• 8:31
Speaker 1: stay positive. Sometimes you gotta fight not to let the
• 8:34
Speaker 1: devil win. You're in a fight, mam. I told you this.
• 8:37
Speaker 1: Now you're in a fight now. So trying to get
• 8:39
Speaker 1: you to get on that positive train so he can
• 8:41
Speaker 1: get you off the faith train. So God's delivery package
• 8:45
Speaker 1: that's coming to you built on your faith that you can.
• 8:47
Speaker 1: He can shake your faith and get you to thinking
• 8:49
Speaker 1: negative and then he wins. See. So when you start
• 8:52
Speaker 1: feeling negative, just know that that's the other force trying
• 8:55
Speaker 1: to throw your off track. And when you get through
• 8:57
Speaker 1: it all that he is the key, the big one.
• 8:59
Speaker 1: You want me to tell it to you. You gots
• 9:01
Speaker 1: to pray, man, You got to pray. You gotta take
• 9:04
Speaker 1: it to God. You gotta say, hey, God, look I'm
• 9:06
Speaker 1: having one of these days. I need your help. I
• 9:09
Speaker 1: got business to take care of. You got blessings in
• 9:11
Speaker 1: front of me. You got stuff you to ship to me.
• 9:14
Speaker 1: You got blessings and packages that's on the way. I
• 9:16
Speaker 1: need to be sitting on Faith streets so I can
• 9:18
Speaker 1: receive the delivery when you get there. What I don't
• 9:21
Speaker 1: want to do is be it on be on doubted
• 9:23
Speaker 1: Way or or lack of Understanding Parkway, or Pity Parkway
• 9:29
Speaker 1: or some street like that, and the package keep going by.
• 9:33
Speaker 1: I need to be standing and sitting on Faith Street,
• 9:36
Speaker 1: so when you drop that package down to me, I
• 9:38
Speaker 1: can go on and get it. You feel me. You
• 9:41
Speaker 1: got to pray. You got to stay still, you gotta
• 9:44
Speaker 1: fight to stay positive. You gotta remember the plan you
• 9:47
Speaker 1: gotta go over the goals. Come on, man, God and
• 9:49
Speaker 1: brought you too far. Come on, pick yourself up today.
• 9:52
Speaker 1: I'm talking to Steve Harvey this morning. Hope y'all didn't
• 9:55
Speaker 1: mind you're listening to ladies and gentlemen. Let's get this
• 10:04
Speaker 1: understood before I say anything today that I am about
• 10:09
Speaker 1: to reach a level of ignorance today that is really see.
• 10:17
Speaker 1: You gotta understand what's happening on this show. We know
• 10:20
Speaker 1: who's stupid. That ain't what we're doing today. This is
• 10:29
Speaker 1: a level of ignorance that I proclaim in the realm
• 10:34
Speaker 1: of professionalism that is very rarely overseated. M huh, all right,
• 10:45
Speaker 1: here is an example. Yeah right. Trump is in violation
• 10:54
Speaker 1: of damn near every human right that's ever been righted
• 11:00
Speaker 1: for human Can I get amen? Hey man, surely, Starberry
• 11:08
Speaker 1: say you're welcome, Steve, Good morning, Thank you, Carlin Pharrell, Amen,

• 11:41
Speaker 1: allow me to introduce my sin. Bring yourself, Lord and
• 11:56

• 12:05
Speaker 1: It's black Zavier black Zand Okay, yeah, created, how y'all

• 12:34
Speaker 1: It was fraggy, yes, right, I gotta work anyways, the Lord, Yeah,
• 12:46
Speaker 1: I ain't mad man, I'm so happy to be back

• 13:23
Speaker 1: We know, no, no, unless it's masterpiece, we can wait. Yeah,
• 13:33
Speaker 1: all right, coming up with thirty two minutes after the hour,
• 13:35
Speaker 1: asked the CLO. The clothe chief office in the building.
• 13:41
Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to all right, time now
• 13:47
Speaker 1: for ask the CLO Ready close right here, here we go.
• 13:53
Speaker 1: Anonymous in Ohio says, you've been discussing wives that have
• 13:57
Speaker 1: problems with the ex husbands with their husband's ex and
• 14:01
Speaker 1: I need advice to I attend the same church as
• 14:04
Speaker 1: my husband's ex wife, and I returned to church on
• 14:07
Speaker 1: Sunday for the first time since March. I saw his
• 14:10
Speaker 1: ex wife and gave her half a smile as we
• 14:13
Speaker 1: walked out of church. Wow, I know that she was
• 14:16
Speaker 1: in my husband's old car that he gave to his
• 14:20
Speaker 1: mother a year ago. I was livid, and I called
• 14:24
Speaker 1: my husband from the parking lot. He told me his
• 14:27
Speaker 1: mom let his ex wife drive a car till hers
• 14:30
Speaker 1: gets fixed. I'm shocked to learn that my mother in
• 14:32
Speaker 1: law still talks to this woman and that my husband
• 14:36
Speaker 1: is okay with all of this. Shouldn't he have asked
• 14:39
Speaker 1: me first? What, No, he gave his mama a car.
• 14:46
Speaker 1: You know you knew he gave the mama the car.
• 14:50
Speaker 1: Now his mom wants this her car. She can't do
• 14:52
Speaker 1: what she want to do with it. He can't tell
• 14:55
Speaker 1: his mother you can't let her use the car I
• 14:58
Speaker 1: gave you. She's quite the mother in law's loyalty too.
• 15:03
Speaker 1: Ain't skip all that. First of all, you need to
• 15:06
Speaker 1: quit passing out these half ass smiles at search search
• 15:11
Speaker 1: because you don't mean it. Now, since God don't like ugly,
• 15:17
Speaker 1: he lets you see her in your man's old car.
• 15:21
Speaker 1: Still on the holy ground. Now, it ain't nothing wrong
• 15:25
Speaker 1: with that lady driving her mama's car. You were surprised
• 15:27
Speaker 1: to see the the hair relationship. That ain't got nothing
• 15:31
Speaker 1: to do with your husband. And you can't get mad
• 15:32
Speaker 1: at your husband because he okay with it. He gave
• 15:35
Speaker 1: his mama the car. Your mama led his ex wife
• 15:40
Speaker 1: you out of car. Ain't a damn thing he could
• 15:42
Speaker 1: do about it. Mamma, don't let her drive a car. No,
• 15:44
Speaker 1: how ain't gonna do that's his mama. Yeah, you're going
• 15:47
Speaker 1: too far with this right. If he had asked her first,
• 15:49
Speaker 1: she would have said, now, all right, dumb and Charlotte, Okay,
• 15:55
Speaker 1: I'm thirty one years old. You know this is a
• 15:56
Speaker 1: man right there. I'm thirty one years old and I've
• 16:01
Speaker 1: been married four years, four years one to three. Four.
• 16:04
Speaker 1: Two weeks ago, I went out with a couple of
• 16:06
Speaker 1: friends and my son's babysitter was in the spot. She's
• 16:09
Speaker 1: twenty six and very attractive, but nerdy. I sent drinks
• 16:14
Speaker 1: to her and her friend. She came over, thanked me,
• 16:17
Speaker 1: and then her song came on and she got excited.
• 16:21
Speaker 1: She backed up on me and started slow grinding on me.
• 16:24
Speaker 1: I couldn't help myself, and I grabbed her hips and
• 16:27
Speaker 1: moved with her. We kept drinking and dancing till we
• 16:31
Speaker 1: ended up in the bathroom, up against the wall of
• 16:33
Speaker 1: a stall. Her friend left, so I took her home.
• 16:37
Speaker 1: On the way to her place, she hooked me up
• 16:40
Speaker 1: while I was driving. Yeah, boy, let's go, let's drop.
• 16:44
Speaker 1: Did you're not here? The part where he said he's
• 16:46
Speaker 1: been married four years? This was the best night of
• 16:49
Speaker 1: my life. I can't get her off of my mind.
• 16:53
Speaker 1: What am I supposed to do? Nice? Thirty one? Yeah
• 16:59
Speaker 1: he's thirty one, she's hold he's been married four years?
• 17:05
Speaker 1: Yeah that's all. This ain't good. You don't see the
• 17:09
Speaker 1: goodness in this? You don't shut He know he done right,
• 17:18
Speaker 1: He wrote the letter. Now suppose this girl? Okay? Now?
• 17:22
Speaker 1: What was the last line of his question ship? He says,
• 17:26
Speaker 1: I can't get her off in my mind? What am
• 17:28
Speaker 1: I supposed to do? It was the best night of
• 17:30
Speaker 1: his life, he sanks. Steve Oh what see, you're not
• 17:34
Speaker 1: asking for help, right, You're making a proclamation that you
• 17:40
Speaker 1: just had the best night of your life. How that's
• 17:44
Speaker 1: the best night of your life is beyond me. You
• 17:47
Speaker 1: ain't had much of a life if your best night
• 17:51
Speaker 1: of your life was at a club, in a bad room,
• 17:53
Speaker 1: against the wall and on your way home. Hey, that's
• 17:57
Speaker 1: my son. Probably the most tripped out thing that's ever
• 18:02
Speaker 1: happened to you at a club. But obviously she's been
• 18:07
Speaker 1: feeling you for quite some time. This is not an accident.
• 18:11
Speaker 1: This ain't cause y'all was drinking, because you remember everything
• 18:15
Speaker 1: that happened. His son's babysitter, Steve Boyd. Let me explain
• 18:20
Speaker 1: something to you. If if you continue this is this
• 18:26
Speaker 1: is gonna get bad for you. That's all I say,
• 18:30
Speaker 1: because because because you can quite saying it's your son's babysitter,
• 18:33
Speaker 1: you can stop saying that. And how y'all got a
• 18:35
Speaker 1: twenty six year old babysitter and you ain't but thirty one.
• 18:39
Speaker 1: I don't know how your wife signed up for that.
• 18:41
Speaker 1: An ass mess right there? How much your babysitting supposed
• 18:46
Speaker 1: to be fifteen years old? And it's your niece exactly
• 18:51
Speaker 1: that's who supposed to be your babysitter. She's not allowed
• 18:54
Speaker 1: in the club. So right there, you're good. So to
• 18:59
Speaker 1: do what he's gonna do. He gonna go out with
• 19:01
Speaker 1: it again. He just had the best night in his life.
• 19:03
  Speaker 1: He ain't looking for a solution. Uh, he's not. That's
• 19:07
Speaker 1: why he signed the letter dumb in Charlotte. Well, I'm
• 19:11
Speaker 1: just gonna tell you, bro, either you stop now or
• 19:13
Speaker 1: it's gonna go bad. Yeah, I'm gonna lose everything. Either way,
• 19:17
Speaker 1: it's gonna be good, though. I'm just trying to tell you.
• 19:19
Speaker 1: Either way, not if he loses it, but if that
• 19:25
Speaker 1: means that means it was really good, but he lost something.
• 19:29

Speaker 1: associated pastor of her church for eleven years. He's been
• 20:06
Speaker 1: making excuses for years whenever I start talking about us
• 20:10
Speaker 1: getting married. He's a pastor and we're living in sin.
• 20:13
Speaker 1: But my issue is a younger woman in the church
• 20:15
Speaker 1: that I think he's been sneaking around with. He says
• 20:18
Speaker 1: she's not as type and she's too young, but I
• 20:20
Speaker 1: see how he watches her walk around the church. I
• 20:23
Speaker 1: don't want to be a fool for him, but I'm
• 20:25
Speaker 1: ready to fight for what's mine. I'm thinking about stepping
• 20:28
Speaker 1: to the young woman. How should I handle this? Why
• 20:31
Speaker 1: are you crazy for a step over there and get
• 20:34
Speaker 1: your ass will but leave a young girl alone? Run
• 20:38

Speaker 1: My name is Shae Leon and I was calling you
• 21:55
Speaker 1: to see if you had any boof rental in the
• 21:57
Speaker 1: salon at you work here. I'm sorry your name sha
• 22:00
Speaker 1: Shay Leon. I mean my real name is Leon, but
• 22:03
Speaker 1: my artistic name is Shy Leon. Shay Leon is what
• 22:05
Speaker 1: they call me Leon. Okay, Um, Actually I do have
• 22:10
Speaker 1: faith for another person to come in at work. Um.
• 22:13
Speaker 1: I am in a sweet Um. It's rather small in here,
• 22:16
Speaker 1: but if you are interested in coming in working, I
• 22:19
Speaker 1: would really like to have someone come in and work
• 22:21
Speaker 1: with me. That would be nice. Can I ask you
• 22:23
Speaker 1: a questions? I'm good, what's your background? What do you
• 22:26
Speaker 1: do atually? Well? Actually, I've just moved here to DC.
• 22:29
Speaker 1: I was actually living in the Los Angeles area, and
• 22:34
Speaker 1: you know, I've been doing hair there for the last
• 22:36
Speaker 1: probably fifteen twenty years. I've been doing hair. Uh, definitely licensed.
• 22:40
Speaker 1: You know, I just moved here, but I've been doing
• 22:44
Speaker 1: here for quite a long time. I specialized and only
• 22:46
Speaker 1: doing females hair. And you know, just looking to get
• 22:50
Speaker 1: into DC and get back to work, and Okay, I
• 22:52
Speaker 1: really want to find a place where I can do
• 22:54
Speaker 1: some hair and and you know it's going to take
• 22:56
Speaker 1: me a minute to get some clientele built up, but
• 22:58
Speaker 1: you know, I know my work. It's good. Okay. Well, um,
• 23:02
Speaker 1: I am in a high traffic area, and I think
• 23:04
Speaker 1: this would be a great area for you just coming
• 23:06
Speaker 1: in from another state, especially because California, right, Um, is
• 23:11
Speaker 1: it possible you can come in and take a look
• 23:14
Speaker 1: and see what you can you know, I'd love I'd
• 23:16
Speaker 1: love to come in and take a look and see
• 23:17
Speaker 1: what I want in the type of work environment you have.
• 23:19
Speaker 1: And so I'm understanding that a lot of people that
• 23:23
Speaker 1: do had and have different rooms. Is that how this
• 23:25
Speaker 1: setup is, Yes, that's how it's set up. However, I
• 23:28
Speaker 1: did you actually have you actually have a sweet I
• 23:30
  Speaker 1: do have a suite M it's a double sweet, so
• 23:32
Speaker 1: there is room for another technician. But you know, with
• 23:36
Speaker 1: it being such close quarters, you know, you gotta got
• 23:38
Speaker 1: to kind of get a feel for the person that's
• 23:39
Speaker 1: going to come in and work for you. So yeah,
• 23:41
Speaker 1: right right, because it's gonna be working real close to
• 23:43
Speaker 1: each other. I understand. You know, if we kind of
• 23:45
Speaker 1: meet each other, you know, we can get a feel
• 23:46
Speaker 1: for each other and see if each working. Let me
• 23:48
Speaker 1: ask you something. Have you have you had a PHS?
• 23:52
Speaker 1: Have you worked around a PHS person before? I'm sorry?
• 23:55
Speaker 1: Who a PHS? Have you worked around? I mean that's
• 23:57
Speaker 1: that's pretty much what I do. Have you worked around
• 24:00
Speaker 1: the PHS? I'm not I'm not familiar with that term.
• 24:04
Speaker 1: Is that a California term? I don't. PHS is? Uh?
• 24:09
Speaker 1: Private hair specialists? Have you worked with a private hair
• 24:11
Speaker 1: specialist before? Um? Well, I would consider myself private being
• 24:16
Speaker 1: so I'm in a suite, but where you would be
• 24:19
Speaker 1: working out and open with myself, So I don't know
• 24:21
Speaker 1: how private you would be. Oh no, no, no, no, no no,
• 24:23
  Speaker 1: you're not. You don't understand where it's coming from. I'm
• 24:26
Speaker 1: a PHS. Okay, private hair specialists? And what that is
• 24:30
Speaker 1: is I do women's private hair, like if they want
• 24:35
Speaker 1: removal from under their arm or their chin or you know,
• 24:40
Speaker 1: but most of my work actually resides in the bikini line. Uh.
• 24:44
Speaker 1: You know, I'm an artist, so I've known to put
• 24:45
Speaker 1: your name there. I can die of different color, a
• 24:49
Speaker 1: mohawk landing strip, you know. Let me let me, let
• 24:53
Speaker 1: me let me stop you right there. Um, you did
• 24:56
Speaker 1: call and say you were hairstylest, and the last time
• 24:58
Speaker 1: I check a hairstyles, they would be style here to
• 24:59
Speaker 1: hear on top of the head. Leon does hair, It
• 25:02
Speaker 1: doesn't doesn't necessarily have to be the hair on the head.
• 25:05
Speaker 1: I'm just saying, I still here, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka.
• 25:09
Speaker 1: What's what's your name again? I'm sorry, Leon, you cannot
• 25:11
Speaker 1: continue to get this wrong. Shay Leon Okay, I'm sorry.
• 25:15
Speaker 1: What was the name your mom gave you? Because my
• 25:18
Speaker 1: government name is Leon? But Leon, okay, Leon, Leon, Leon. Again,
• 25:23
Speaker 1: this is a suite and you will be working in
• 25:25
Speaker 1: the open with myself and my clients who are a
• 25:28
Speaker 1: customed to having a professional setting. Um, and I don't
• 25:31
Speaker 1: think it would be appropriate for you to have someone
• 25:34
Speaker 1: come in and have a landing strip an airport, a
• 25:37
  Speaker 1: plane their baby daddy's name put it, I don't, I
• 25:40
Speaker 1: don't out or whatever you do. That's not what we're
• 25:43
Speaker 1: about here, because so are you trying to say that
• 25:45
Speaker 1: you're not open for new ideas. I'm sorry. If you
• 25:48
Speaker 1: consider that a new idea, then I'm giving you phone
• 25:50
Speaker 1: number to someone else because this we're not going to

Speaker 1: excuse me, excuse me. You called my salon. Where did
• 26:01
Speaker 1: you even get my number from? Why? What made you
• 26:03
Speaker 1: think that you could call my shop and then this
• 26:05
Speaker 1: is what we do and you could come here and
• 26:07
Speaker 1: you could do that. Well, I'm thinking that you would
• 26:09
Speaker 1: be open for something new. Why would you think that
• 26:11
Speaker 1: I'd be open for that? Who told you that? I mean,
• 26:17
Speaker 1: you came all the way from California and you called me.
• 26:21
Speaker 1: You're not coming to my salon to call your name
• 26:24
Speaker 1: anybody else's name, and you have a landing strips any
• 26:27
Speaker 1: type of initials. Okay, this is a professional salon. And
• 26:31
Speaker 1: we found hair. The hair on the head is what
• 26:34
Speaker 1: I'm doing of the headman. That's what does look you.
• 26:47
Speaker 1: I'm sick of you. I'm sick of you already, So

Speaker 1: here in my shop. I'm sorry. I hope you can
• 26:55
Speaker 1: call someone else and maybe they'll accept your crab. That
• 26:59
Speaker 1: your career would not to be successful as you would

• 33:22
Speaker 1: if I you it was on me, miss and Tripp. Okay, Oh,
• 33:26
Speaker 1: here we go, everybody. Good morning. This is and trip
• 33:28
Speaker 1: with the news. Well. The Democratic National Convention ended last night.
• 33:32
Speaker 1: It was the very first virtual gathering, and when it
• 33:35
Speaker 1: was all over, former Vice President Joseph Biden was the
• 33:38
Speaker 1: official candidate for president and Kamala Harris, the first woman
• 33:41
Speaker 1: who colored to ever run on a major party ticket
• 33:44
Speaker 1: for vice President. Biden reminded his fellow Democrats about who
• 33:47
Speaker 1: he is, who he'll be, and how they can make
• 33:50
Speaker 1: it all happen or take very personally the profound responsibility
• 33:55
Speaker 1: of serving as commander in chief. I'll be a president,
• 33:58
Speaker 1: will stand with our allies and friends and make it
• 34:00
Speaker 1: clear to our adversaries. The days of cozying up to
• 34:04
Speaker 1: dictators is over. Under President Biden, Americle will not turn
• 34:09
Speaker 1: a blind eye to Russian bounties on the heads of
• 34:12
Speaker 1: American soldiers, nor I had put up with foreign interference
• 34:16
Speaker 1: on our most sacred democratic exercise, voting. And the former
• 34:21
Speaker 1: VP blasted Donald Trump as a president who has quote
• 34:23
Speaker 1: sold the seas of chaos and division, especially when it
• 34:26
Speaker 1: comes to race. But he says he sees America that
• 34:29
Speaker 1: is bigger than that, Greater than that. Will we be
• 34:34
Speaker 1: the generation that finally wipes out the stand of racism
• 34:38
Speaker 1: from our national character. I believe her up to it.
• 34:42
Speaker 1: I believe we're ready. Maybe George Floyd murder was a
• 34:46
Speaker 1: breaking point. Maybe John Lewis is passing the inspiration. But however,
• 34:52
Speaker 1: has come to be America is ready, in John's words,
• 34:56
Speaker 1: to lay down quote the heavy burden of state at last.
• 35:00
Speaker 1: In times as challenging as these, I believe there's only
• 35:04
Speaker 1: one way forward. Are you Unite in America. Unite in
• 35:08
Speaker 1: in our pursuit of a more perfect union, Unite in
• 35:12
Speaker 1: in our dreams of a better future for us and
• 35:15
Speaker 1: for our children. United in our determination to make the
• 35:20
Speaker 1: coming years bright for Lord's sake. This is the United
• 35:24
Speaker 1: States of America. This is our moment, This is our mission,
• 35:30
Speaker 1: as love and hope and light join in the battle
• 35:33
Speaker 1: for the soul of the nation. This is a battle
• 35:35
Speaker 1: we will win, and we'll do it together, I promise
• 35:39
Speaker 1: you well. Now in the heels of the Democratic Convention,
• 35:42
Speaker 1: the Republican National Convention begins next week in Charlotte, North Carolina.
• 35:46
Speaker 1: It'll be virtual too, of course. The R and C
• 35:48
Speaker 1: expected to feature right wing internet celebrities and Donald Trump
• 35:51
Speaker 1: every night. Organizers say they're going to be speeches from
• 35:54
Speaker 1: members of the Congress, regular Americans who feel they've benefited
• 35:57
Speaker 1: from Trump's policies, Internet famous concerts, and other people. The
• 36:01
Speaker 1: theme is honoring the great American story. Now back to
• 36:05
Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening show, all right, Steve,
• 36:10
Speaker 1: come on and turn its oide to mount to Jeffrey Brown. Okay,
• 36:15
Speaker 1: today today I decided to go very serious, very very serious,
• 36:20
Speaker 1: very serious. I am so sick of these people talking
• 36:24
Speaker 1: about Kamala ain't black enough. Okay, she's black enough. It
• 36:28
Speaker 1: all right. Not only that I wrote a song. Here
• 36:32
Speaker 1: go hit it. She's back, She's got, and that's that.
• 36:41
Speaker 1: Alduhas are there. You need to take it back. She's back,
• 36:44
Speaker 1: She's got and that's that. All hits are there. You
• 36:48
Speaker 1: need to take it back. Her mom and dad in
• 36:50
Speaker 1: education the bomb, they got enough degrees to get on
• 36:53
Speaker 1: the both. She put the hard university in DC. I
• 36:57

Speaker 1: just like we're gonna read this one right here, right now.
• 53:50
Speaker 1: Buckle up and hold on tight. We got it for you.
• 53:52
Speaker 1: Here It is by letter, Thank you nephew. Subject does
• 53:56
Speaker 1: he have a problem or am I the problem? Even Shirley,
• 54:00
Speaker 1: I'm married to a wonderful man that is thirteen years
• 54:04
Speaker 1: older than I am. He is my everything, and in
• 54:08
Speaker 1: the beginning of our marriage, we were very active and
• 54:11
Speaker 1: traveled a lot. Now it's like he's settled into being
• 54:14
Speaker 1: old and boring, and I can barely get him to
• 54:17
Speaker 1: take a walk with me. I asked him if he
• 54:20
Speaker 1: was depressed and advised him to see a doctor. He
• 54:23
Speaker 1: went to the doctor and got a clean bill of health.
• 54:26
Speaker 1: We used to enjoy a martini in the evening too
• 54:28
Speaker 1: unwind and reconnect, but lately he's turned to drinking brown liquor,
• 54:33
Speaker 1: and I've noticed to change in him. He is grumpier now,
• 54:37
Speaker 1: and he snores like a wild man in the bed.
• 54:40
Speaker 1: I have to admit that his sex game is better
• 54:43
Speaker 1: if he's had the brown liquor, but right afterwards he
• 54:46
Speaker 1: passes out. My biggest problem with him is kind of embarrassing,
• 54:51
Speaker 1: and I don't know how to handle it. He's been
• 54:54
Speaker 1: urinating in his sleep and the smell of the brown
• 54:59
Speaker 1: liquor has saturated our mattress and reeks throughout our bedroom.
• 55:04
Speaker 1: At first, it would be just a few drops, and
• 55:06
Speaker 1: the more he drank in the evening, the more he'd
• 55:09
Speaker 1: urinate in his sleep. He would get up like nothing
• 55:14
Speaker 1: was wrong and the next morning and I wouldn't say
• 55:17
Speaker 1: a word in case he was already ashamed. By the
• 55:20
Speaker 1: fifth time he did it, I brought it to his
• 55:22
Speaker 1: attention and he downplated by saying he was too comfortable
• 55:26
Speaker 1: to get up to use the toilet. I suggested that
• 55:29
Speaker 1: he go back to the doctor, and he refused. He
• 55:32
Speaker 1: told me I could sleep in the other bedroom. Since
• 55:34
Speaker 1: it was such a big deal to me, Why would
• 55:38
Speaker 1: he ask me to leave our bedroom. It makes me
• 55:41
Speaker 1: wonder if he's doing this on purpose because he's lost
• 55:44
Speaker 1: interest in me. Please advise, well, he definitely has lost
• 55:50
Speaker 1: interest in the bathroom for some reason, and we don't
• 55:54
Speaker 1: know why yet. This is a great testimonial for depend
• 55:57
Speaker 1: though I think I don't understand anything about this letter.
• 56:01
Speaker 1: I really don't. I think you should definitely invest in
• 56:04
Speaker 1: some depend I didn't know brown liquor made you urinate
• 56:08
Speaker 1: on yourself. I've never heard this before, and in your sleep.
• 56:11
Speaker 1: I just I have never ever heard anybody talking about this.
• 56:15
Speaker 1: I think we're all, you know, we're all people that
• 56:18
Speaker 1: have had that dream, you know, the one where we
• 56:21
Speaker 1: almost go on ourselves in the bed, but we wake
• 56:24
Speaker 1: up just in time before we went to bed. Some
• 56:29
Speaker 1: don't make it, but most do. We weren't even drinking
• 56:33
Speaker 1: brown liquor. It was just dreaming that you were going
• 56:36
Speaker 1: to the bathroom. And I think your husband is just lazy.
• 56:39
Speaker 1: I'm gonna say it. I think he's lazy and he
• 56:41
Speaker 1: just doesn't want to get up. He said it's comfortable
• 56:43
Speaker 1: in the bedroom. He told you that. But I do
• 56:45
Speaker 1: agree with you that he wants you out of there.
• 56:49
Speaker 1: I agree with that he wants the freedom to pee
• 56:52
Speaker 1: in peace. Yes, so if you're in the other bedroom,
• 56:55
Speaker 1: he could do it by himself. I mean, I don't
• 56:59
Speaker 1: know how you could stand this for five times before
• 57:02
Speaker 1: you said something, But um, you know, I'll give you credit.
• 57:06
Speaker 1: What a woman, what a wife? I mean not saying
• 57:08
Speaker 1: anything the next morning, you say because you you don't
• 57:11
Speaker 1: want him to feel what he already might be. And
• 57:14
Speaker 1: that's ashamed. But he didn't sound like he was. He
• 57:17
Speaker 1: wasn't ashamed. This is not normal, though, it really isn't.
• 57:21
Speaker 1: I think he needs to leave the brown liquor alone.
• 57:24
Speaker 1: And I think he definitely should get back to the doctor.
• 57:27
Speaker 1: Take your advice on that. Get back to that doctor immediately,
• 57:31
Speaker 1: because it sounds like something is wrong medically, and that's
• 57:36
Speaker 1: all I have for you, Steve. Now, now that ain't
• 57:40
Speaker 1: it all. It's all this is wrong, All this is wrong.
• 57:46
Speaker 1: What is it, Steve? What is it? It's a two
• 57:49
Speaker 1: part series. Before we go to break, I'm gonna give
• 57:52
Speaker 1: you the first part. Okay, this is what my initial
• 57:56
Speaker 1: reaction to this letter was. He taught h m hm,
• 58:01
Speaker 1: he's tired of her. He thirteen years old in you.
• 58:04
Speaker 1: He's everything in the beginning, very active travel. Now it's
• 58:10
Speaker 1: like he's suddenly into being old. He's thirteen years older
• 58:13
Speaker 1: than you. He is probably settling into being old, but
• 58:18
Speaker 1: just born and barely taking a walk with you and stuff.
• 58:22
Speaker 1: That's something else. Then you thought he was depressed. He
• 58:25
Speaker 1: went to the hospital, got a clean Billy Hill. He's
• 58:27
Speaker 1: not depressed. He wasn't depressed at the doctor's office. He
• 58:32
Speaker 1: depressed what he at the house? Remember y'all used to
• 58:37
Speaker 1: drink a martini. They're unwinding and reconnecting the evening. See
• 58:42
Speaker 1: that that that that clear? Look ain't getting it no more.
• 58:47
Speaker 1: He didn't have to resort to brown licor something harder
• 58:51
Speaker 1: than a martini. What does this mean? He didn't he
• 58:56
Speaker 1: tired of her. Oh wow, No, I'm telling you this
• 59:01
Speaker 1: woman is not discussing a problem that they have. That's
• 59:07
Speaker 1: a major information missing out of this. I can tell
• 59:12
Speaker 1: by the letter. He didn't just stop drinking Martinez and
• 59:18
Speaker 1: all of a sudden just started drinking Ian Jay, y'all
• 59:24
Speaker 1: u with Hitnessy and Crown. He'll be there trying to
• 59:29
Speaker 1: trying to wash it down with some markers y'all up
• 59:36
Speaker 1: in the bourbon and everything. He trying to forget something.
• 59:45
Speaker 1: And he's grumpier now and he snores like a wild man.
• 59:52
Speaker 1: He is drowning you out. He don't want to hear
• 59:58
Speaker 1: nothing you got to say at night or in the daytime.
• 1:00:02
Speaker 1: Hang on, Steve, now come back. I'm gonna tell you
• 1:00:06
Speaker 1: the other thing that's happening in the Okay, that was
• 1:00:09
Speaker 1: part one, coming up, you heard it. Part two of
• 1:00:12
Speaker 1: Steve's responds to twenty three minutes after the hour, today's
• 1:00:16
Speaker 1: subject Does he have a problem or am I the problem?
• 1:00:20
Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening,
• 1:00:25
Speaker 1: all right, Steve, Come on, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
• 1:00:29
Speaker 1: Does he have a problem or am I the problem?
• 1:00:32
Speaker 1: Does he have a problem or am either problem. Whenever
• 1:00:35
  Speaker 1: there's a problem, there's two reasons it's a problem. It's
• 1:00:39
Speaker 1: your side of the story, and he's this side of
• 1:00:41
Speaker 1: the story. Now you're saying he was finding the beginning.
• 1:00:44
Speaker 1: He's thirteen years old and now he just acting, Oh,
• 1:00:46
Speaker 1: he don't even want to take a walk with you normal,
• 1:00:49
Speaker 1: And y'all switched drinking from Martinis and he just switched
• 1:00:53
Speaker 1: over to brown nickel. And you told him he ought
• 1:00:56
Speaker 1: to go to the doctor because he seemed depressed. Doctor
• 1:00:58
Speaker 1: saying nothing wrong with him. He's I know, it's just
• 1:01:00
Speaker 1: what I'm He only depressed when he's at the house
• 1:01:04
Speaker 1: with Hush Shirley. But I'm gonna tell you about that.
• 1:01:09
Speaker 1: Listen to me now. The second part it is, she say,
• 1:01:15
Speaker 1: it's the most embarrassing. I don't know how to handle it.
• 1:01:19
Speaker 1: He been year nating in his sleep, and the smell
• 1:01:22
Speaker 1: of brown liquor has saturated our man brown looking strong.
• 1:01:29
Speaker 1: You put brown, look Penicilla, h Holly greened you what
• 1:01:36
Speaker 1: ox oxtail, gravy and cabbage and you got a funking
• 1:01:43
Speaker 1: mass on your hands. So when he year natan, that's
• 1:01:48
Speaker 1: another sign that he's sick of you. Any time you
• 1:01:51
Speaker 1: roll over and touching, he pee a little, just the
• 1:01:56
Speaker 1: touch of your hand on his back. Now you've even
• 1:01:59
Speaker 1: said the brown liquor made him better in bed. But
• 1:02:02
Speaker 1: as soon as he gets through, he falled right asleep.
• 1:02:06
Speaker 1: Fellas sound familiar, sound familiar, fellas. As soon as it's over,
• 1:02:16
Speaker 1: it's over. Boom. Now. Then you said he would get
• 1:02:24
Speaker 1: up like nothing, nothing was wrong, But then it got
• 1:02:27
Speaker 1: worse and he started peeing a lot. And then then
• 1:02:31
Speaker 1: when you approached him about it, you brought it to
• 1:02:33
Speaker 1: his attention. He is the key to the whole letter,
• 1:02:36
Speaker 1: Let's hear it. He downplayed it by saying he was
• 1:02:40
Speaker 1: too comfortable to get up to use the tardy girl.
• 1:02:47
Speaker 1: Let me explain something to you. You ain't ever too
• 1:02:54
Speaker 1: comfortable to pee on yourself. Excuse me, You ain't ever
• 1:03:01
Speaker 1: too comfortable to lay up there and just pee on
• 1:03:04
Speaker 1: your slf. What are you talking about? Grown ass man
• 1:03:08
Speaker 1: told you he just comfortable. What you ain't that comfortable?
• 1:03:14
Speaker 1: You think brown? Look a smell it burned too. He
• 1:03:18
Speaker 1: ain't set up there comfortable, laying in that squishy ass
• 1:03:23
Speaker 1: mattress talking about it. He was just too comfortable to
• 1:03:26
Speaker 1: get off. He is trying to accomplish something. Y'all. Y'all
• 1:03:30
Speaker 1: ain't listening to me. He's trying to accomplish something, ain't
• 1:03:34
Speaker 1: no grown man laid up in that bed pete On himself,
• 1:03:37
Speaker 1: stayed in it all night and got up in the morning,
• 1:03:39
Speaker 1: act like, ain't nothing wrong to guess what, to guess what,
• 1:03:45
Speaker 1: to guess what? She'll five times to she saying something
• 1:03:49
Speaker 1: to it, and he said it ain't no big deal.
• 1:03:52
Speaker 1: And then he said, if you don't like it, go
• 1:03:54
Speaker 1: sleep in the other room. That was the objective the
• 1:03:57
Speaker 1: whole damn time. He sick. Hut he just started peeing
• 1:04:02
Speaker 1: in the bed. No, it's making her mad. He'd have
• 1:04:05
Speaker 1: told her, you don't like it, go sleeping on the bed.
• 1:04:08
Speaker 1: Do that sound like somebody that loves somebody? Or do
• 1:04:11
Speaker 1: that sound like somebody that's sick or somebody? It sounds
• 1:04:14
Speaker 1: like somebody is here. He sure ain't nothing wrong with this, dude.
• 1:04:21
Speaker 1: But I mean, there are many other ways to get
• 1:04:24
Speaker 1: her out of the bedroom. Yeah, I mean, come on,
• 1:04:31
Speaker 1: five Yeah, this is disgusting. It is all of that.
• 1:04:38
Speaker 1: All you gotta do is just give me another reason.
• 1:04:43
Speaker 1: I think he has a medical condition. He got a
• 1:04:46
Speaker 1: damn medical condition. Depends is for people who can't make
• 1:04:50
Speaker 1: it to the bathroom, not lay up there and just
• 1:04:53
Speaker 1: urinate on your damn self. He's lazy and that lazy.
• 1:04:58
Speaker 1: Ain't nobody that A'm lazy to put brown liquor p
• 1:05:03
Speaker 1: on your fat? He wanted dice? U bro, bro, Why
• 1:05:10
Speaker 1: don't you just ask for a divorce? Do you have
• 1:05:13
Speaker 1: to pee on me to? I don't understand this? What
• 1:05:16
Speaker 1: is going on here? Yeah? I'm sorry. I don't follow
• 1:05:20
Speaker 1: your logic. You don't have to follow my logic. It's
• 1:05:24
Speaker 1: no logic to follow. How did this sound logical to you? No?
• 1:05:28
Speaker 1: This is craziness. Why y'all pick this letter? Grown ass
• 1:05:35
Speaker 1: man sitting up and hit p and on himself. We
• 1:05:38
Speaker 1: can't help him. We no damn doctor. I think he
• 1:05:42
Speaker 1: needs to get back to the doctor. Sir Lee, if
• 1:05:46
Speaker 1: your wife asked you to go see about yourself, he said,
• 1:05:49
Speaker 1: he ain't going back down to no doctor. And if
• 1:05:52
Speaker 1: you don't like it, go sleep in the other bedroom.
• 1:05:55
  Speaker 1: That's not a medical condition. He's sick of I keep
• 1:05:59
  Speaker 1: telling y'all, I don't know why she's on thick of
• 1:06:02
Speaker 1: him with all you in the other room and he coming,
• 1:06:05
Speaker 1: and that he really do it? He walking to be
• 1:06:15
Speaker 1: on the other baby, he really that is ridiculous. All right, look,
• 1:06:22
Speaker 1: post your comments on today's Strawberry Letter. I'm fricking yeah
• 1:06:27

• 1:06:31

• 1:06:35

• 1:06:46

• 1:06:57
Speaker 1: Junior is here to grace us what with a poem
• 1:07:01
Speaker 1: about getting old? Surely by the poem by getting old?
• 1:07:07
Speaker 1: This poem is called National Senior Poetry Day, but it's
• 1:07:11
Speaker 1: dedicated to the oldest person on this show. We all
• 1:07:15
Speaker 1: know who that would be and his goal if the
• 1:07:19
Speaker 1: title of it is the oldest person on this show.
• 1:07:24
Speaker 1: Here we go, the oldest member on the show. You
• 1:07:27
Speaker 1: used to move fast, Now you move slow. Yeah, the
• 1:07:31
Speaker 1: oldest member on the show would like to see your grandkids,
• 1:07:35
Speaker 1: but you can't go. The oldest member oldest show. Believe me,
• 1:07:39
  Speaker 1: he's singing in me. I know. So I raised a
• 1:07:43
Speaker 1: glass of apple sauce and salute this old fart because
• 1:07:46
Speaker 1: he cannot eat nothing hard. He got to eat everything
• 1:07:49
Speaker 1: that's soft. The endow my love. Yeah, yeah, Jake, that's
• 1:07:57
Speaker 1: for you man. I just put senior and want you together.
• 1:08:00
Speaker 1: And I said, what apple, Yeah, I'm real. Salt, that's real.
• 1:08:08
Speaker 1: It's salute all part. Because he can't eat nothing hard.
• 1:08:12
Speaker 1: Everything he eats got to be salt. That's part today. Boy,
• 1:08:18
Speaker 1: I'm good. I get killing the boy. I don't hurt him.
• 1:08:22
Speaker 1: Get out of COVID. You're gonna be writing a song,
• 1:08:27
Speaker 1: you know what, Carlor, that might not be a bad
• 1:08:29
Speaker 1: I'm gonna start making an album. Get back together. I'm
• 1:08:33
Speaker 1: telling they better not. We're gonna be on the road
• 1:08:36
Speaker 1: after this COVID because just part I mastered this, I
• 1:08:39
Speaker 1: just a gonna ask people, are we gonna go around
• 1:08:41
Speaker 1: the room? Go ahead, like back, go ahead. I don't care. Carl,
• 1:08:45
Speaker 1: come on already. He was gonna boot. It didn't matter
• 1:08:50
Speaker 1: what I said. You was gonna boom home. You know what,
• 1:08:54
Speaker 1: This one was actually better than because you know, we
• 1:08:58
Speaker 1: know why you didn't like the last one, because you
• 1:08:59
Speaker 1: didn't like me. Do when Jesse Jackson, we know why anyway,
• 1:09:04
Speaker 1: always hate I give this one a nice six point five.
• 1:09:10
Speaker 1: I'll never get a ten from you. Ain't worried about that.
• 1:09:13
Speaker 1: Six point five is really good. Go ahead, Jake, fairly even, yeah, even,
• 1:09:21
Speaker 1: I love Yeah. Out of one from one to ten,
• 1:09:26
Speaker 1: I'll give him an eighth. Thank you. That's that's a portrait. Fann,
• 1:09:33
Speaker 1: though you would be a Paul. Give him an age.
• 1:09:40
Speaker 1: Come on, sweet, are really really strong too? All right?
• 1:09:49
Speaker 1: Thank you? Jed coming under y'allill never get into heaven. Well,
• 1:09:54
Speaker 1: I've more having Steve Harvey Morning Show. We're gonna talk
• 1:09:57
Speaker 1: about Sharon Stone. Have you seen her post on the Gram.
• 1:09:59
Speaker 1: We'll get into it right after this. You're listening, boy,
• 1:10:08
Speaker 1: have you guys been seeing uh, Sharon Stone's actress, Sharon
• 1:10:11
Speaker 1: Stone's posts on the Graham about her family? Yeah, her
• 1:10:16
Speaker 1: sister is has COVID nineteen and she's really suffering. And
• 1:10:22
Speaker 1: Sharon Stone just couldn't take it anymore, and she got
• 1:10:25
Speaker 1: on the Graham and was talking about, you know, some
• 1:10:28
Speaker 1: of the laws and things that are going on in
• 1:10:30
Speaker 1: Montana and how her family, yeah, is suffering. They're really
• 1:10:34
Speaker 1: suffering up there. We need to send prayers out to
• 1:10:37
Speaker 1: Sharon Stone's family and she's telling you know, like I said,
• 1:10:42
  Speaker 1: what's happening in Montana, And um, I don't think it's
• 1:10:46
Speaker 1: mandatory there to wear maths. Uh, they're not really taking
• 1:10:49
Speaker 1: COVID nineteen seriously and testing is backlog and they don't
• 1:10:54
Speaker 1: get the results system. Yeah, other places, I mean everywhere
• 1:10:58
Speaker 1: it's having testing problems. But right, and you really feel her.
• 1:11:03
Speaker 1: I mean she's raw. She's not the glammed up Hollywood
• 1:11:07
Speaker 1: version of Sharon Stone. She's the real, no makeup, you know,
• 1:11:11
Speaker 1: hair bag's yeah, yea yeah, yeah, and not just true.
• 1:11:18
Speaker 1: There are more members of her family, and she goes
• 1:11:21
Speaker 1: on to talk about what's going on in Montana and
• 1:11:23
Speaker 1: her family, and in the end, she's telling everyone to
• 1:11:26
Speaker 1: vote for Joe Biden and Kamala take a lesson. Yeah,
• 1:11:29
Speaker 1: this is the state that we're in. The only thing
• 1:11:32
Speaker 1: that's going to change this is if you vote, and
• 1:11:36
Speaker 1: if you vote for Biden and if you vote for
• 1:11:38
Speaker 1: Kamala Harris. And the reason that's going to happen is
• 1:11:42
Speaker 1: because with women in power, we will fight for our families,
• 1:11:46
Speaker 1: we will fight for people to live, and we will
• 1:11:48
Speaker 1: fight for people to get tested. Because the only countries
• 1:11:52
Speaker 1: that are doing well with COVID are the ones that
• 1:11:54
Speaker 1: have women in leadership. Please vote, and please, whatever you do,
• 1:12:00
Speaker 1: vote for a killer. Thank you. Wow yeah, wow, booms
• 1:12:06
Speaker 1: shock a locker locker who Yeah, that's that's coming from.
• 1:12:11
Speaker 1: But you know what, I wish the Republicans would have
• 1:12:13
Speaker 1: had their convention first, because it's gonna get rid. They're
• 1:12:16
Speaker 1: gonna be really really ugly. Yeah yeah, and then we
• 1:12:20
Speaker 1: can't cancer to redirect. Yeah, we won't have our chance. Yeah.
• 1:12:25
Speaker 1: I always say that though, Jay whoever, yeah, whoever in power.
• 1:12:29
Speaker 1: So we gotta vote, y'all. We gotta vote. We got
• 1:12:32
Speaker 1: We really do, because you know how I feel when
• 1:12:34
Speaker 1: they go low, Let's go lower, you know, let's get
• 1:12:37
Speaker 1: way up under that. Like when they go low, the
• 1:12:40
Speaker 1: right by your foot so you can whip their hands.
• 1:12:42
Speaker 1: If they go they gonna kick them. But but you
• 1:12:55
Speaker 1: know what Stevens, you know, with cheering Stone, with her
• 1:12:58
Speaker 1: talking so raw and talking about what she's going through
• 1:13:02
Speaker 1: with her family, like so many other Americans around the country,
• 1:13:07
Speaker 1: one hundred and seventy thousand people have died from COVID.
• 1:13:11
Speaker 1: And listen to me, that's one hundred and seventy thousand
• 1:13:14
Speaker 1: deaths when you have one hundred and seventy thousand deaths.
• 1:13:18
Speaker 1: The people that are affected by that are their relatives,
• 1:13:22
Speaker 1: their friends, their neighbors, their coworkers. That number expands into
• 1:13:28
Speaker 1: the millions quickly. Not a million deaths, but a millions
• 1:13:34
Speaker 1: affected by the hundred and seventy thousand deaths. That's the
• 1:13:39
Speaker 1: problem that Donald Trump has because this did not have
• 1:13:44
Speaker 1: to be as bad as it is if we had
• 1:13:47
Speaker 1: leadership who understood that testing, that thought it was essential,
• 1:13:52
Speaker 1: that thought that this COVID disease was real and not
• 1:13:55
Speaker 1: a hoax. Not so busy trying to blame China instead
• 1:13:59
Speaker 1: of finding a cure and a way to secure the
• 1:14:03
Speaker 1: safety of his constituents and the American lives. We wouldn't
• 1:14:08
Speaker 1: be in the shape we're in. But he only cares
• 1:14:12
Speaker 1: about himself and his friends. That's been arrested. That's it.
• 1:14:16
Speaker 1: He'd been cleared his hands of the COVID. He used
• 1:14:19
Speaker 1: to give a daily press conference, but then he found
• 1:14:24
Speaker 1: out he was losing that war. He ain't mentioned it. No, No, Joe,
• 1:14:31
Speaker 1: Beggy Paul have a plan. You think Joe Biden will
• 1:14:33

• 1:16:37
Speaker 1: you're listening show, all right, Steve, come on in sidebout
• 1:16:43

• 1:16:49
Speaker 1: very very serious, very serious. I am so sick of
• 1:16:53
Speaker 1: these people talking about Kamala ain't black enough. Okay, she's
• 1:16:58
Speaker 1: black enough, all right? Not only that, I wrote a song.
• 1:17:03
Speaker 1: Here go hit it. She's back, She's got in. That's
• 1:17:11
Speaker 1: that all you hitters out there, but you need to
• 1:17:13
Speaker 1: take it back. She's back, She's got in. That's that
• 1:17:17
Speaker 1: all you hitters out there, you need to take it back.
• 1:17:20
Speaker 1: Her mom and dad education the bomb. They got enough
• 1:17:23
Speaker 1: degrees to get under both. She went to hard University
• 1:17:27
Speaker 1: in DC. I don't care how you talk of dash
• 1:17:29
Speaker 1: black to me, steady Hindu would do a Baptist church.
• 1:17:33
Speaker 1: That's true defamation. For what it's worth, they say the
• 1:17:36
Speaker 1: black of the barrier to sweet to you, but the
• 1:17:39
Speaker 1: light's getting buried. Got to show you proof got more
• 1:17:42
Speaker 1: education than Trump and pins and the top of all
• 1:17:45
Speaker 1: off black common says. So you say you don't like
• 1:17:48
Speaker 1: it because she's all you're tough, but we all know
• 1:17:50
Speaker 1: someone who needs to be locked up and ain't a
• 1:17:53
Speaker 1: member part of the band. Nine Sister BP don't that
• 1:17:56
Speaker 1: blow your man. I ain't talking no more and I
• 1:17:58
Speaker 1: ain't telling no job. You want your life better get
• 1:18:01
Speaker 1: out of their end boat. She's that, she's stopping that slack.
• 1:18:05
Speaker 1: He is not that you need to tell my shame
• 1:18:08
Speaker 1: last black, she's abody. Couple you with some stuff that
• 1:18:11
Speaker 1: doesn't walk away and take it down. Hang up the phone,
• 1:18:14
Speaker 1: and that's slack. I wouldn't have had this trouble. You
• 1:18:17
Speaker 1: can't hit it. Hang back mane staying like I asked
• 1:18:20
Speaker 1: him to do that. The woman is black back, but
• 1:18:24
Speaker 1: I want to get in that slack, but she note
• 1:18:28
Speaker 1: that's fire black man to say that at the year like,
• 1:18:42
Speaker 1: I love it. Yeah, she's black woman with nobody and
• 1:18:51
Speaker 1: where is the black board that? Yeah, then you got
• 1:18:53
Speaker 1: to go improve your blackness? Where is this lookout? I
• 1:18:57
  Speaker 1: don't know. I mean really, I don't make celebrate her
• 1:19:02
Speaker 1: and it's nowhere going. But it be us though, yes, yes, yes, yeah,
• 1:19:08
Speaker 1: yeah be us every time we're the only ones be
• 1:19:11
Speaker 1: talking about levels of blackness. Yes, yeah, you get your
• 1:19:15
Speaker 1: ass pulled over by the police. All the levels is
• 1:19:18
Speaker 1: the same. Yeah, GIRLO, how black you want somebody to be?
• 1:19:23
Speaker 1: She educated? She went to a Howard a k a man.
• 1:19:29
Speaker 1: And like Jay said, if you're having that conversation with somebody,
• 1:19:31
Speaker 1: just walk away from because it's an ignorant conversation. Got
• 1:19:35
Speaker 1: enough things to do, all right, Jay, thank you? Coming up,
• 1:19:39
Speaker 1: it's our last break of the day. Crazy man, Jay,
• 1:19:44
Speaker 1: there's another day that used to work with Trump coming in. Okay,
• 1:19:47
Speaker 1: makes the room all right. And of course the one
• 1:19:55
Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey will have some closing remarks coming
• 1:19:58
Speaker 1: up at forty nine minutes after the hour. Right after this.
• 1:20:01
Speaker 1: You're listening to Steven Show. All right, here we are,
• 1:20:05
Speaker 1: last break of the day and of the week. Whoa
• 1:20:10
Speaker 1: what a week? In a week? Yes, it has thank
• 1:20:15
Speaker 1: you Lord, we made through another one. Yeah, yeah it was.
• 1:20:22
Speaker 1: It was classic respect of the office. You felt real
• 1:20:27
Speaker 1: leadership going on. Um gave us killed it? Doesn't Obama
• 1:20:33
Speaker 1: killed it? Yes he did, Yes, he did so. Proud
• 1:20:35
Speaker 1: of Kamala. Harry thought he was gonna cry. Did anybody
• 1:20:38
Speaker 1: else think he was gonna Yeah? I did too, Jay,
• 1:20:40
Speaker 1: I did. He got the most impeccable timing, Jay, Amy, Yeah, man, Yeah,
• 1:20:46
Speaker 1: I think he really feels it. Man. I thought that Biden.
• 1:20:50
Speaker 1: You are you talking about Biden? Obama? You know, I
• 1:20:55
Speaker 1: really thought that Joe Biden delivered a great speech. I
• 1:21:03
Speaker 1: think he touched off a lot of stuff that I
• 1:21:07
Speaker 1: needed to hear. He has a plan, but also he
• 1:21:10
Speaker 1: showed the stark difference between him and Trump. That's all
• 1:21:16
Speaker 1: this is about. It's about do we want a stark
• 1:21:22
Speaker 1: difference from what we've had the past four years. The answer,
• 1:21:27
Speaker 1: if you are a level headed, honest thinking person is yes,
• 1:21:33
Speaker 1: You've got to want something different. This guy cannot be
• 1:21:38
Speaker 1: the guy you would want your children to be like.
• 1:21:41
Speaker 1: This guy cannot be the guy that you want your
• 1:21:46
Speaker 1: family to look up to do and say that's our president.
• 1:21:49
Speaker 1: I'm sorry, man, now listen to me. I know there
• 1:21:51
Speaker 1: are people that's going yes it is. He's the type
• 1:21:55
Speaker 1: of man. Well, if he is, you're corrupt to Sorry,
• 1:22:03
Speaker 1: you can't applaud and approve of his behavior when you
• 1:22:08
Speaker 1: know it has been corrupt, when you know he lies repeatedly,
• 1:22:15
Speaker 1: when you know he's immature, when you know he sends
• 1:22:19
Speaker 1: the wrong message out constantly, when you know he's divisive.
• 1:22:25
Speaker 1: They're fine people on both sides. You can't be in
• 1:22:28
Speaker 1: a hate group and be a fine person. Sorry, I
• 1:22:33
Speaker 1: don't care what you're trying to accomplish. The part that's
• 1:22:38
Speaker 1: sickening me is that he does have an unmovable following.
• 1:22:45
Speaker 1: The ones that's gonna follow Trump is gonna follow him
• 1:22:48
Speaker 1: off the edge. That's sad. That's really really sad. That's
• 1:22:54
Speaker 1: about ah thirty five million people. The other millions that
• 1:23:05
Speaker 1: vote for him are voting for him simply because it's
• 1:23:08
Speaker 1: the party they're in. But it's about thirty million of
• 1:23:11
Speaker 1: them to think he's just the greatest thing since slice bread,
• 1:23:14
Speaker 1: and he's not. He's really really awful for this country. Listen,
• 1:23:21
Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, Morning Show, Shirley Carlin, Junior, Jay, Tommy. We
• 1:23:30
Speaker 1: are all asking you to do your part, and that
• 1:23:36
Speaker 1: is to vote. Listen to me, Black people, stop thinking
• 1:23:42
Speaker 1: that your vote doesn't matter, because your vote is everything.
• 1:23:46
Speaker 1: If we go to the polls and vote, we determine
• 1:23:51
Speaker 1: who sits in the White House. If you don't go
• 1:23:53
Speaker 1: to the polls and vote, you will determine who sits
• 1:23:57
Speaker 1: in the White House. Now, you can make the decision
• 1:24:01
Speaker 1: by voting, or you can allow a decision to be
• 1:24:04
Speaker 1: made by you, by made for you by not voting.
• 1:24:09
Speaker 1: And I'm telling you right now, if you are working
• 1:24:12
Speaker 1: class person you ain't gonna be able to do for
• 1:24:15
Speaker 1: more years like this. He doesn't have a plan to
• 1:24:19
Speaker 1: help this country get back on his feet in terms
• 1:24:21
Speaker 1: of health with the COVID. He has a plan for
• 1:24:25
Speaker 1: reopening and you saw what's happening here. He demands that
• 1:24:30
Speaker 1: schools are reopen or they won't get funded. Have you
• 1:24:33
Speaker 1: been have you been listening of the number of COVID
• 1:24:35
Speaker 1: cases with our children now? And see it's easy for
• 1:24:39
Speaker 1: him to say, you send your kids to school, or
• 1:24:41
Speaker 1: I'm gonna defend fund your school. His children don't have
• 1:24:44
Speaker 1: to go to these schools. I don't know how old
• 1:24:48
Speaker 1: his son is the youngest one, but I'm pretty sure
• 1:24:52
Speaker 1: he doesn't have to go to the school let your
• 1:24:54
Speaker 1: children go to I'm about pretty sure that you know
• 1:24:58
Speaker 1: his ready compadres to people on Fox who turned a
• 1:25:05
Speaker 1: blind eye to all of the wrong that he does.
• 1:25:09
Speaker 1: Only points out things on the Democratic side. Won't show
• 1:25:13
Speaker 1: you one lie he's told, won't show you one falsehood,
• 1:25:17
Speaker 1: one bad piece of information. They won't show you anything
• 1:25:22
Speaker 1: except to make you think this guy is right for
• 1:25:25
Speaker 1: this country. And how can you say that? Listen, we
• 1:25:30
Speaker 1: got to get out to vote. Now, let me take
• 1:25:32
Speaker 1: a second to talk directly to black people as only
• 1:25:35
Speaker 1: I will talk to you this just like this. We
• 1:25:39
Speaker 1: got to stop, man, We got to stop being complacent
• 1:25:43
Speaker 1: and sitting around and acting like what our forefathers went
• 1:25:46
Speaker 1: through it. All these lunch counters on the backs of
• 1:25:49
Speaker 1: these buses and all this here was for no reason
• 1:25:52
Speaker 1: at all. It was so you could have the right
• 1:25:54
Speaker 1: to vote. It ain't right for us not to exercise
• 1:25:58
Speaker 1: that right. We got to turn out to vote, y'all.
• 1:26:03
Speaker 1: This is our responsibility. This is our country. We built
• 1:26:07
Speaker 1: this country. When I say this is our country, I'm
• 1:26:10
Speaker 1: meaning it's ours, just like as anybody else's. We built America.
• 1:26:15
Speaker 1: We made a miracle what it is. If it wasn't
• 1:26:19
Speaker 1: for our labor force, this country could have never accomplished
• 1:26:23
Speaker 1: what they accomplished. We built this country. We should have
• 1:26:28
Speaker 1: a say so it who runs the country. Vote four
• 1:26:33
Speaker 1: one one dot org, Go and register. I want everybody
• 1:26:38
Speaker 1: to malely and vote. Get your ballots down to the
