- 2:06Speaker 2: dig me now one it only Steve Harvey. Uh huh
- 2:09Speaker 2: got a radio show? Yeah, man, what a blessing it is.
- 2:13Speaker 2: I can't even explain my whole life. My whole life
- 2:15Speaker 2: is a blessing. It really is. In spite of all
- 2:18Speaker 2: the things that's happened, contraa to having the appearances of
- 2:21Speaker 2: a blessing. As I look back on my life today,
- 2:24Speaker 2: it all happened for a reason. It all came together,
- 2:27Speaker 2: it tied together, and you know it's important.
- 2:31Speaker 8: Man.
- 2:31Speaker 2: I think a lot of people that asked me about
- 2:33Speaker 2: my success and how I got here and how do
- 2:36Speaker 2: I attribute and what was the steps?
- 2:38Speaker 9: I want to tell you what it is. Now.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Listen to me before I get started. Please understand that
- 2:42Speaker 2: everything that I tell you is faith based. Everything that
- 2:45Speaker 2: I tell you is faith based. You can double check it.
- 2:47Speaker 2: You can go behind me. Whatever your faith is, if
- 2:50Speaker 2: you go back into the writings and your faith, it's
- 2:53Speaker 2: in there.
- 2:53Speaker 9: It's in there. Now.
- 2:55Speaker 2: I'm not telling you anything new. I'm not giving you
- 2:57Speaker 2: a new angle. I may give you a different way
- 2:59Speaker 2: of its saying it, you know, maybe hearing it back
- 3:01Speaker 2: to yourself. But in essence, man, I really do know
- 3:04Speaker 2: that I'm not going to say anything that you may
- 3:06Speaker 2: not have heard, but I phrased it in a different
- 3:09Speaker 2: kind of way. And so this series this week, I
- 3:11Speaker 2: want to talk to you about how to make it
- 3:14Speaker 2: kind of a motivational series. And the first part, the
- 3:17Speaker 2: most important component of it in accomplishing what you want
- 3:22Speaker 2: in your life is you have to identify the dream.
- 3:26Speaker 9: This is the critical step.
- 3:28Speaker 2: A lot of people spend their life squandering and wandering
- 3:31Speaker 2: around because they never identify the dream. You have to
- 3:35Speaker 2: identify the dream. You have to identify what it is
- 3:39Speaker 2: that you want, what it is that you hope for.
- 3:42Speaker 2: You have to have a goal in mind. You have
- 3:45Speaker 2: to have a destination. You know, when you go outside
- 3:48Speaker 2: and put the key in your car, you never go
- 3:50Speaker 2: and put your key in the car and just get
- 3:52Speaker 2: in in and just drive, you know, unless you're trying
- 3:54Speaker 2: to clear your head or something. But if you talk
- 3:56Speaker 2: about going somewhere, you got to have a destination. You
- 4:00Speaker 2: gotta have somewhere you want to go, or else you're
- 4:02Speaker 2: just running around you burning gas. Where you're going now?
- 4:05Speaker 2: I don't know? Left here? Right here? Go here, go there?
- 4:08Speaker 2: You know, you must identify the dream. The dream is
- 4:12Speaker 2: the single most important part of the component to making
- 4:15Speaker 2: the success out yourself. God can't bless what you don't have.
- 4:19Speaker 2: You can't get what you never give. Identify the dream.
- 4:22Speaker 2: What is it that burns inside you so it keeps
- 4:25Speaker 2: you awake at night? What is it, man, that makes
- 4:27Speaker 2: you smile when you think about it?
- 4:30Speaker 9: What is it, man that you can't seem to quite shape?
- 4:33Speaker 2: Okay, so you go to college, right, you make a decision,
- 4:36Speaker 2: which I disagree with you asking eighteen to a twenty
- 4:39Speaker 2: one year old to make a decision or what he
- 4:40Speaker 2: wants to do and what he wants to be with
- 4:42Speaker 2: the rest of his life.
- 4:43Speaker 9: That's tough because guess what.
- 4:45Speaker 2: This young person doesn't really know himself or herself yet,
- 4:48Speaker 2: So you're asking them to identify what it is at
- 4:51Speaker 2: an early age. What consequentially happens is that people get
- 4:55Speaker 2: older and they wind up doing something else, and you
- 4:58Speaker 2: get a degree and you find out what you're passing
- 5:00Speaker 2: is with something else. See, identifying that dream as early
- 5:03Speaker 2: as you can is important.
- 5:05Speaker 9: Now, whether you're younger.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Whether you're or whatever, your whatever, your identity of the
- 5:09Speaker 2: dream is.
- 5:10Speaker 9: That's first.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Now. What you have to do then is if I
- 5:15Speaker 2: were you. Here is the part that people never seem
- 5:18Speaker 2: to weld together with that dream that I want to
- 5:21Speaker 2: be an astronaut, I want to be a doctor, I
- 5:22Speaker 2: want to be a club on it. I want to
- 5:24Speaker 2: be the DJ, I want to be the ball player,
- 5:28Speaker 2: I want to be a writer, I want to be
- 5:30Speaker 2: a whatever it is.
- 5:31Speaker 9: It doesn't matter.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Somebody is that already, and somebody had it as a dream,
- 5:35Speaker 2: So it's no dream too big. Okay, Once you identify
- 5:38Speaker 2: the dream, here's the thing. The best way for that
- 5:41Speaker 2: to happen is that dream should be tied directly to
- 5:46Speaker 2: your God given gift or talent. See that's the part
- 5:50Speaker 2: that people miss. You see halle Berry on TV and
- 5:53Speaker 2: you want you want to have on one of the
- 5:55Speaker 2: dresses on the red carpet, and you want to stand
- 5:56Speaker 2: there and get the award, and you want to have
- 5:58Speaker 2: the same people. Do your had to do? Halle and
- 6:01Speaker 2: who do Beyonce? All that's good, All that's good, man,
- 6:04Speaker 2: But do you have the talent or the gift to
- 6:07Speaker 2: accomplish that. See, don't get outside your scope. I wanted
- 6:11Speaker 2: to play in the NBA when I was eight years old,
- 6:13Speaker 2: but something happened along the way.
- 6:16Speaker 9: I didn't have skill set.
- 6:17Speaker 2: I discovered that when I ran as fast as I could,
- 6:20Speaker 2: the basketball was never with me.
- 6:22Speaker 9: Man, that's an important part of all.
- 6:24Speaker 2: You know.
- 6:24Speaker 9: I could jump, but I normally didn't have a basketball.
- 6:29Speaker 2: So now see that that passion and that dream of
- 6:32Speaker 2: being in the NBA was not tied to my gift.
- 6:35Speaker 2: My gift was when I was sitting there watching them
- 6:38Speaker 2: play basketball. I was the little dude leaning against the
- 6:42Speaker 2: fence that had a comment about everything everybody did.
- 6:48Speaker 9: That was it.
- 6:49Speaker 2: I was the commentator, the color commentator, and lord I
- 6:53Speaker 2: was funny. It was one of the few times I
- 6:56Speaker 2: didn't stutter when I was leaning against the fish, talking trash.
- 6:59Speaker 2: But if you took me to school, you took me
- 7:01Speaker 2: to church, you took me in front of somebody. You
- 7:03Speaker 2: sent me to the store man. That stuttering just came
- 7:05Speaker 2: over the top of me. I couldn't do it. Remember
- 7:07Speaker 2: the first time I told somebody my dream is to
- 7:09Speaker 2: be on TV man, they laughed at me so hard
- 7:12Speaker 2: that they laughed me out the gym because I had
- 7:15Speaker 2: a stuttering problem.
- 7:16Speaker 9: So that caused me never to tell it again.
- 7:18Speaker 2: The best way to accomplish your dream is you got
- 7:21Speaker 2: to tie it to your gift, to the talent that
- 7:23Speaker 2: God has given you. You can't overlook that. See God
- 7:26Speaker 2: never created a person without giving them a talent or
- 7:28Speaker 2: a gift. You have something that you do, and the
- 7:31Speaker 2: way to identify that is very simple. It is the
- 7:33Speaker 2: thing that you do the absolute best with the least
- 7:35Speaker 2: amount of effort. What is that that you do that's
- 7:38Speaker 2: better than you do anything else with the least amount
- 7:41Speaker 2: of effort. You do this, it's almost You can draw
- 7:44Speaker 2: without you can write, you can sing. You know how
- 7:47Speaker 2: to pull stuff apart and put it back together. You
- 7:50Speaker 2: know how to connect the dots and cross t's, and
- 7:53Speaker 2: you know how to organize things and put people together.
- 7:57Speaker 2: You know how to network, you know how to shoot video.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Old is better than anybody. You know how to calm
- 8:02Speaker 2: people down when they when it's a conflict that your
- 8:04Speaker 2: school is something.
- 8:05Speaker 9: They come to you, all your friends come to you.
- 8:07Speaker 9: They problem.
- 8:07Speaker 2: There's a gift and the talent. You have to identify
- 8:10Speaker 2: what that is. Now, if you take that gift and
- 8:12Speaker 2: talent that you are born with and you marry it
- 8:15Speaker 2: into your dream, you put those two in the dream,
- 8:19Speaker 2: that's the number one thing. And here's a deal. You
- 8:22Speaker 2: can never give up on the dream. I don't care
- 8:28Speaker 2: how old you are. There's a scripture that says a
- 8:33Speaker 2: man without a dream or vision shall perish. Think about this.
- 8:37Speaker 2: If you've given up on your dream, don't it feel
- 8:40Speaker 2: like you're going nowhere? You have a wake up in
- 8:42Speaker 2: the morning and just go, man, this can't be all
- 8:45Speaker 2: to it. It's gotta be more to it than this.
- 8:47Speaker 2: That's that seed, that dream, that talent, that gift that's
- 8:52Speaker 2: in you that needs watering and nurturing and fertilize it
- 8:55Speaker 2: to come out and grow. But you got to identify.
- 8:58Speaker 9: Man.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Come on, and you can't give up on your dream
- 9:00Speaker 2: because now you got just the job that's helping you
- 9:03Speaker 2: pay these bills, and now you locked into the system
- 9:06Speaker 2: where paying the bills is so critical and living expenses
- 9:09Speaker 2: on top of you that you got to keep going
- 9:10Speaker 2: to this job.
- 9:11Speaker 9: So now you give up on your dreams. That ain't
- 9:13Speaker 9: how this thing work. Man.
- 9:15Speaker 2: You can't ever give up on the dream. It's gonna
- 9:18Speaker 2: be a sacrifice to do that. To follow your dream,
- 9:21Speaker 2: You're gonna have to let something go. That's the scary part.
- 9:24Speaker 2: That's the part where people don't want to let go
- 9:26Speaker 2: of the peanut to get the fruit. So you hang
- 9:29Speaker 2: on to your peanut. Now, the fruit out there, it's melons, grapes, bananas, pineapples,
- 9:34Speaker 2: it's out fruit is out there, But you're so busy
- 9:37Speaker 2: hanging on to this peanut, that job that has got
- 9:40Speaker 2: you locked in, and you can't go out there and
- 9:42Speaker 2: enjoy the fruits of your life. You have to make
- 9:44Speaker 2: a decision. A decision is based on your dream and
- 9:46Speaker 2: your gift. If you tie those two together, why not
- 9:49Speaker 2: take a shot at it. I mean, what you're waiting on.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Everything I tell you is faith based, so remember that too.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Now you got to take your faith along. But it
- 9:56Speaker 2: starts with the dream.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Here listenings to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, let me have you undivided assentire for
- 10:06Speaker 2: a second. Please have you taken a moment chat to
- 10:08Speaker 2: say thank you? You should? It's another day, another chance,
- 10:11Speaker 2: another opportunity, another blessing, another moment of favor. He didn't
- 10:16Speaker 2: have to do it, but he did, and I'm so
- 10:19Speaker 2: glad he did. I'm still counted among the living. I'm
- 10:23Speaker 2: still have a measure of health, and so do you.
- 10:27Speaker 2: So let's get it on. Steve Harvey Morney Show, Shelon
- 10:30Speaker 2: Strawberry calling for Real Mississippi Monica Junior and the Legend
- 10:34Speaker 2: of Nephew Tommy Junior.
- 10:38Speaker 10: We're going on, Man, no uncle, great question. Have I
- 10:41Speaker 10: told him thank you?
- 10:42Speaker 2: Have I have? I said thank you?
- 10:45Speaker 1: What first thing I said was thank you this morning?
- 10:48Speaker 8: You know?
- 10:48Speaker 9: Okay?
- 10:49Speaker 10: Yeah, you little crazy paper unci is man, what happens
- 10:52Speaker 10: to us when we start to believe in what God
- 10:55Speaker 10: has promises.
- 10:56Speaker 1: It's a dangerous thing.
- 10:57Speaker 10: Well, you get to believe in when you get believe
- 11:00Speaker 10: in what God has said he could do for you.
- 11:03Speaker 1: I found out of that. Now I got to start
- 11:05Speaker 1: doing that more that.
- 11:06Speaker 10: I gotta start just taking him at his word, just
- 11:08Speaker 10: at his word, is what he said. I'll never believe
- 11:11Speaker 10: you not forsake you. I'm a believe him in that
- 11:14Speaker 10: because I've been through enough trials and tribulation. I realized
- 11:16Speaker 10: that all I got is just his word. I'm not
- 11:18Speaker 10: worried about what I've been through anymore. I'm just gonna
- 11:20Speaker 10: focus on what's coming. That's to just start believing in
- 11:24Speaker 10: what's coming.
- 11:26Speaker 7: For a junior.
- 11:27Speaker 2: No am I here, Yeah, I don't understand.
- 11:32Speaker 7: Do you agree?
- 11:33Speaker 1: Uncle?
- 11:33Speaker 7: Do you have you experienced this part?
- 11:35Speaker 2: I'll just ask him because I have to.
- 11:36Speaker 3: Now.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Well, you know, uh, that's the hard part for most people.
- 11:42Speaker 2: You know, so many people go to church and memorize scriptures,
- 11:45Speaker 2: but they don't apply none. I try to be in
- 11:49Speaker 2: the application business. Now. I don't know as many scriptures
- 11:53Speaker 2: as a lot of people do. I really really don't.
- 11:56Speaker 2: But the ones I do really really understand. I have
- 11:59Speaker 2: tried to apply them, and sometimes you have to be
- 12:03Speaker 2: reminded to reply to apply them. Sometimes you got to
- 12:07Speaker 2: be reminded because we're human and we get a little
- 12:10Speaker 2: weak sometime and we get off course and get the
- 12:13Speaker 2: focusing on the problem instead of the God. And you know,
- 12:17Speaker 2: we get to worrying about stuff longer when we know
- 12:19Speaker 2: that this too shall pass.
- 12:21Speaker 9: So all of it.
- 12:22Speaker 2: His word is very true, and the more you count
- 12:24Speaker 2: on it, the more beneficial it plays out in your life.
- 12:28Speaker 2: It just really does. So I found that to be true.
- 12:31Speaker 2: It's a good thing that you come into that and everything.
- 12:34Speaker 2: But you got to remember that at all times. That's
- 12:37Speaker 2: the hard part, Junior.
- 12:39Speaker 9: I'll beat.
- 12:40Speaker 2: It's the hard part for us to stay steady. God's
- 12:44Speaker 2: word never changes. It's our application of it that moves around.
- 12:50Speaker 2: You know, we were good on Fridays with it sad something,
- 12:54Speaker 2: then something happened. Then he comes out, and then we
- 12:58Speaker 2: were off Tuesday Wednesday.
- 13:00Speaker 7: Yeah, you know.
- 13:02Speaker 2: And then if you ain't smart, the devil's mission is
- 13:05Speaker 2: to rob you of your destiny, so he'll have you off.
- 13:07Speaker 2: You'll hustle more than two three days. Next thing, you know,
- 13:10Speaker 2: he got you for two three weeks. Now you're in
- 13:12Speaker 2: a funk. Now you'd have forgot, and if you ain't,
- 13:15Speaker 2: got nobody room around you to remind you whoa see.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Once you focusing on the problem and you allow the
- 13:25Speaker 2: problem to become bigger than your God, then you got
- 13:28Speaker 2: a real problem because now you ain't focusing on the solution.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Let's church say amen, amen, man, all.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Right, coming up with thirty two minutes to after the hour,
- 13:39Speaker 3: we'll hear from a nephew as he runs that prank
- 13:42Speaker 3: back right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 13:49Speaker 3: This message is brought to you by Pfizer. Let's talk help.
- 13:52Speaker 3: You may not know about new macccle disease, but if
- 13:55Speaker 3: you're fifty or older, or nineteen or older with certain
- 13:58Speaker 3: medical conditions like diades, you're at risk and it could
- 14:02Speaker 3: turn your plans big or small, into a hospital visit
- 14:05Speaker 3: to get vaccinated. It's one action you can take to
- 14:08Speaker 3: help protect against new micaccle pneumonia and invasive new micacle disease.
- 14:13Speaker 3: Keep enjoying everything you're looking forward to, even if it's
- 14:16Speaker 3: just a podcast, schedule a shot at vacsassist dot com.
- 14:21Speaker 3: It is time now for the nephew to run that
- 14:23Speaker 3: brank back.
- 14:23Speaker 11: What you got for is new it called LYNT. I
- 14:26Speaker 11: am giving your wife up for NINT. Let's go catch up.
- 14:32Speaker 12: Hello, Hey, I'm trying to reach Dorsey. Yeah he was
- 14:35Speaker 12: this this cliff Man. I work at the post office
- 14:38Speaker 12: with your wife. How you doing, brother, I'm doing all right?
- 14:42Speaker 8: Everything cool?
- 14:43Speaker 12: Yeah, everything good man? Everything good? Like I say my
- 14:47Speaker 12: name is Cliff Man. I wanted to reach out and
- 14:48Speaker 12: holler at you about a couple of things. If you
- 14:50Speaker 12: if you got a minute, you got a minute.
- 14:51Speaker 8: He is everything all right with my wife? It is
- 14:53Speaker 8: something wrong with some.
- 14:54Speaker 12: No no, no, no, no your wife good Man, your
- 14:56Speaker 12: wife good.
- 14:57Speaker 8: I wanted to hit you up.
- 14:57Speaker 12: Man. We've been working the post office quite a while,
- 14:59Speaker 12: prob been in the same room a few times. Man.
- 15:02Speaker 12: I don't know if you remember meeting me or not,
- 15:04Speaker 12: but okay, okay, But what I wanted to say, man,
- 15:07Speaker 12: is trying to do better with my life dog and
- 15:10Speaker 12: you know, just just trying to do better, you know
- 15:12Speaker 12: what I'm saying. So you know, for Lentt, Man, I
- 15:15Speaker 12: gave up a few things. You know what I'm saying.
- 15:18Speaker 12: I just thought that would be a good thing, man,
- 15:20Speaker 12: to try the things that matter the most, or that
- 15:23Speaker 12: you're addicted to, you know, you want to get rid of,
- 15:25Speaker 12: you know what I'm saying, at least for Lentt is
- 15:27Speaker 12: what I'm trying to do. You feel me.
- 15:29Speaker 8: Okay, I'm kind of confused. But what they what they
- 15:33Speaker 8: got to do with me?
- 15:34Speaker 12: Well, basically, man, I'm giving up for Lint. You know,
- 15:38Speaker 12: I decided to give up messing around with your wife,
- 15:43Speaker 12: you know, because because.
- 15:46Speaker 8: Hold on, man, hold on, man, I'm at work. I
- 15:49Speaker 8: don't know what you come about. But mack up and
- 15:52Speaker 8: rephrase everything you just said.
- 15:55Speaker 12: Well, like I say, Man, for LNT, I'm trying to
- 15:58Speaker 12: I'm trying to give up stuff that I'm that I'm
- 16:00Speaker 12: addicted to, you know, And I decided.
- 16:02Speaker 8: That what they got to do with me and my
- 16:03Speaker 8: wife though and you.
- 16:05Speaker 12: But that's what I'm trying to tell you, Man, I'm
- 16:06Speaker 12: trying to give up messing around with your wife for LNT.
- 16:10Speaker 12: I mean, that's what I have given up. I've given
- 16:12Speaker 12: up messing around with your wife for LNT.
- 16:14Speaker 8: Man. What's talking about? Man? Messing around with my wife? Man?
- 16:17Speaker 8: Got no time for no games? Right now? Who is
- 16:20Speaker 8: this man?
- 16:21Speaker 12: What's your name again? This is cliff Man. I actually
- 16:24Speaker 12: work with her for the last ten twelve years. But
- 16:27Speaker 12: but what I wanted to really let you know is,
- 16:29Speaker 12: you know, her schedule probably gonna change because what we
- 16:31Speaker 12: used to be doing we ain't doing. So she's probably
- 16:34Speaker 12: gonna be coming home a little bit earlier or things
- 16:36Speaker 12: like that. But I don't I don't want you getting
- 16:38Speaker 12: addicted to it because you know, after lent is over,

- 35:14Speaker 2: try to gain money through you know, bribery or whatever
- 35:17Speaker 2: extortion and it don't work and we find out that

- 37:31Speaker 11: The podcast schedule a shot at vaxsassists dot com.
- 37:34Speaker 1: That's vasassists dot com. Have you guys heard about this?
- 37:38Speaker 3: Elon musk Is, who really has a president's here, is
- 37:42Speaker 3: now urging President Trump to think about partning Derek Chauvin.
- 37:46Speaker 3: Now you remember Derek Chauvin. He's a police officer who
- 37:49Speaker 3: killed George Floyd. According to US News, Elon reposted a
- 37:53Speaker 3: tweet rant from conservative pundit Ben Shapiro Shapiro tweeted, quote,
- 37:58Speaker 3: but when it came to Black Lives Matter, the inciting
- 38:01Speaker 3: event for the BLM riots that caused two billion dollars
- 38:05Speaker 3: in property damage in the United States, and said America's
- 38:08Speaker 3: race relations on their worst footing in my lifetime was
- 38:12Speaker 3: in fact the railroading of Derek Chauvin in the death
- 38:16Speaker 3: of George Floyd end quote. Shapiro also claimed that Chauvin
- 38:20Speaker 3: was innocent despite being found guilty of murder and violating
- 38:24Speaker 3: George Floyd's civil rights. Chauvin is concurrently serving a federal
- 38:28Speaker 3: sentence of twenty one years and twenty two and a
- 38:30Speaker 3: half years on state charges after pleading guilty to depriving
- 38:35Speaker 3: Floyd of his civil rights and being convicted by a
- 38:38Speaker 3: jury of murder and manslaughter in twenty twenty one.
- 38:43Speaker 1: So Elon Musk wants him parton Elon Musk.
- 38:47Speaker 2: Yeah you racist yeties, Yes, you out of touch, non
- 38:54Speaker 2: caring about what it was. This was murder we saw
- 38:59Speaker 2: on TV. Happy you saw it. This wasn't speculation. We
- 39:05Speaker 2: have everything that can result in a murder conviction. We
- 39:09Speaker 2: have motive, we have footage, we have a body. All
- 39:14Speaker 2: that's right there, and you saw it. For eight minutes
- 39:17Speaker 2: and forty six seconds until you kill this man. You
- 39:22Speaker 2: killed a man. Pardon him for what?
- 39:26Speaker 12: For what?
- 39:28Speaker 2: Because you all are saying that this set race relations
- 39:32Speaker 2: on a course that you had never seen prior to
- 39:36Speaker 2: your life.
- 39:36Speaker 9: No, no, no, no, no, no, no no no.
- 39:38Speaker 2: This set race relationships on a course that you paid
- 39:43Speaker 2: attention to. Y'all set race relationships on a course four
- 39:48Speaker 2: hundred years ago when you illegally bought the human beings
- 39:54Speaker 2: on those slave ships. That started it. Your continuation of
- 39:59Speaker 2: slavery for four hundred years started it. Your refusal to
- 40:04Speaker 2: allow people to be free started it. All of this started.
- 40:09Speaker 2: Y'all got a lot of nerves. Man, We wanna dump
- 40:12Speaker 2: something on one incident from some white racist ass cop
- 40:17Speaker 2: kills a black man on video, and now you wanna
- 40:19Speaker 2: make that's the thing that set rags relationships in this country. No,
- 40:23Speaker 2: when you murdered Emmett till when you refuse to let
- 40:26Speaker 2: us ride on the bus, when you when you when
- 40:28Speaker 2: you fire hoses, when you put dogs on us, all
- 40:32Speaker 2: that started it. When you burn down Oklahoma, when we
- 40:35Speaker 2: had our own black wall Street, that started it. Ain't
- 40:38Speaker 2: enough that you got everything you don't want us to
- 40:41Speaker 2: have a damn thing. That's what started because America wasn't
- 40:45Speaker 2: built on DEEI your damn right. It wasn't built on diversity, equality, inclusion.
- 40:50Speaker 2: It was built on the backs of slaves.
- 40:53Speaker 1: All right, we'll be back with more of the Steve
- 40:55Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening Hardy Morning Show.

- 41:30Speaker 8: You don't know what you're talking about. You need to
- 41:32Speaker 8: stop line for the people, stop dance lighting.
- 41:35Speaker 1: And just stick to entertaining us what you do best.
- 41:38Speaker 6: Just entertain us.
- 41:39Speaker 1: That's all we need from you.
- 41:40Speaker 8: Because more than half of the country voted for Trump,
- 41:44Speaker 8: so they don't believe you.
- 41:45Speaker 1: We don't believe you.
- 41:47Speaker 8: We don't line every.
- 41:49Speaker 2: Day well, Tyree, you picked the right day because I

- 42:16Speaker 2: in the middle of darkness. So I'm gonna keep saying
- 42:19Speaker 2: what I got to say, and if you don't like it,
- 42:22Speaker 2: you ain't got to listen. You know that's the same
- 42:24Speaker 2: white people are always telling Black people shut up and dribble.
- 42:28Speaker 2: What makes you an authority? And what make them other
- 42:31Speaker 2: people the authority that's.
- 42:33Speaker 1: On Fox talking?
- 42:34Speaker 2: Because they lie all the time. Did you see the
- 42:37Speaker 2: Did you see the Congressional address last night? Did you
- 42:40Speaker 2: hear any lies? You probably didn't. You thought that whole
- 42:44Speaker 2: thing was the truth through So, Tyray, I don't know
- 42:48Speaker 2: where they found your black ass hat, cause I know
- 42:51Speaker 2: you black because.
- 42:51Speaker 9: Your name Tyray.
- 42:53Speaker 2: So I don't know where they found your black ass

- 43:00Speaker 2: can kiss the crack on my behind? You are you
- 43:03Speaker 2: in the you in the you and you in the
- 43:05Speaker 2: behind crack business? Because you got your head jammed so
- 43:08Speaker 2: far up Trump's so now since you like, that's my
- 43:11Speaker 2: putting mine on that list too, since that's the business
- 43:14Speaker 2: you in. You picked the right day to call me,

- 44:34Speaker 15: wine and he's the legend. Well, I wouldn't say he's
- 44:38Speaker 15: the legend of comedy because that's the late Red Fox
- 44:43Speaker 15: and others.
- 44:44Speaker 8: But he's kidding there.
- 44:47Speaker 15: He's the legend in his own way of comedy. Flexy

- 56:17Speaker 1: We got it for you.
- 56:17Speaker 3: Here it is strawberry letter Thank you nephew's subject. Why
- 56:22Speaker 3: is my husband so darn nice? Here, Stephen Shirley, My
- 56:26Speaker 3: husband has become less of a pain in the butt
- 56:28Speaker 3: over the past year. He's going to church with me
- 56:31Speaker 3: and he's cooking again. I'm not sure what came over him,
- 56:34Speaker 3: but it was great until I realized he's even nicer
- 56:37Speaker 3: to people outside of our home. We were getting groceries
- 56:41Speaker 3: a while ago and he actually carried a lady's groceries
- 56:45Speaker 3: to the counter because her hands were full. I would
- 56:48Speaker 3: not have been side eyeing him if he went and
- 56:50Speaker 3: got her a basket, but he actually left me to
- 56:54Speaker 3: go help her to get to the register. That was
- 56:57Speaker 3: one of the many strikes he's had lately. He overtipped
- 57:01Speaker 3: our cute young server and winked at her. He looked
- 57:04Speaker 3: at me, she looked at me in disgust when he winked.
- 57:07Speaker 3: I asked him why he gave her a fifty dollars bill,
- 57:11Speaker 3: and he said she might need the extra money. He
- 57:14Speaker 3: has volunteered himself to do things around the neighborhood, and
- 57:18Speaker 3: he actually does the stuff. I asked him if the
- 57:21Speaker 3: Lord himself spoke to him and He said that he's
- 57:24Speaker 3: just blessed and he finally found his purpose. I just
- 57:28Speaker 3: hope his purpose is not with another woman, because he's
- 57:31Speaker 3: been visiting a lot of single moms in our neighborhood
- 57:34Speaker 3: to do odd jobs. I say that because he's nicer
- 57:38Speaker 3: to be around, and he's still not a big fan
- 57:40Speaker 3: of having sex. He still rations out the intimacy. I'm
- 57:45Speaker 3: not stupid, So I started following him around. On the weekend,
- 57:49Speaker 3: he spent time at his office and there were a
- 57:51Speaker 3: few cars in the parking lots. I drove by a
- 57:54Speaker 3: few times, and each time there was one car that
- 57:57Speaker 3: was there the whole time. His car was there, and
- 58:00Speaker 3: it was gone when his car left. My old school
- 58:03Speaker 3: daddy said to beware if that's the case, because another
- 58:07Speaker 3: woman has put that spring back into my husband's step.
- 58:11Speaker 1: Is that true? Why is he so darn nice? Now?
- 58:15Speaker 3: Well, listen to your daddy, your old school daddy. That's
- 58:20Speaker 3: the best advice I can give you straight out. You know,
- 58:23Speaker 3: first off, he said, beware. In other words, believe what
- 58:26Speaker 3: you see and feel. I mean, yes, it's nice to
- 58:29Speaker 3: be nice and to help people, and all that kindness
- 58:33Speaker 3: from others is a lot of what the world is
- 58:35Speaker 3: missing today, society is missing right now, and here your
- 58:39Speaker 3: husband is going out of his way to be kind,
- 58:42Speaker 3: winking at waitresses, giving them large tips, helping single women
- 58:47Speaker 3: in the neighborhood do odd jobs for it. He's doing
- 58:49Speaker 3: odd jobs for them and leaving your side at the
- 58:53Speaker 3: grocery store to carry a woman's groceries to the counter. Boy,
- 58:57Speaker 3: that's nice, really really nice. That in and of itself
- 59:01Speaker 3: doesn't make him a cheater or anything like that. But
- 59:04Speaker 3: his behavior does raise a red flag if your wife,
- 59:07Speaker 3: if you're a woman and all that, it's suspect. I mean,
- 59:10Speaker 3: we gotta admit that. So you need to decide, I mean,
- 59:13Speaker 3: keep following him so you can if you need some
- 59:15Speaker 3: real hard evidence to decide of his so called purpose.
- 59:19Speaker 3: It's truly him being nice to these women or having
- 59:22Speaker 3: relations with them, and cheating on you. You know, because
- 59:26Speaker 3: as a wife, him doing all these things for other
- 59:29Speaker 3: women is not gonna sit well, it doesn't. That's the
- 59:32Speaker 3: first thing you'll think of, is cheating Steve.
- 59:34Speaker 2: Well, well, well, surely, and delle what she usually do.
- 59:39Speaker 2: So let me go and try and keep this little
- 59:42Speaker 2: family together.
- 59:43Speaker 3: Home.
- 59:43Speaker 2: Record came through with that cannonball to shot everybody the
- 59:46Speaker 2: hell after that response, good luck family, y'all do when
- 59:51Speaker 2: y'all gonna get this paperwork started? But Sureley has obviously
- 59:55Speaker 2: put it into motion. So why is my husband so
- 59:59Speaker 2: darn nice? I could truly say, after listening to this letter,
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: I really don't know. I kept looking for some telltale
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: signs in here, and I just don't know. Now Sureley said,
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: keep following me. Whoo, that's busy man. If I got
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: to follow you, I don't need to be with you.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: If I got to follow you, I ain't no man.
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: So why is my husband so darn nice? I don't know.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: He's become less of a pain in the butt. Okay,
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: that's odd way to start the letter. He's going to
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: church with me and he's cooking again. Okay, all this
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: is with you. I'm not sure what came over him,
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: but it was great until you realize he's even nicer
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: to people outside your home.
- 1:00:48Speaker 9: Y'all.
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: Was in the grocery store getting groceries. He saw a
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: woman trying to get to the counter. She had her
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: hands full. He helped her take all that stuff up
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: to the register. I don't see nothing wrong with that.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: Now you say you don't mind him helping him. But
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: then you decided the best way he could have helped
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: her was to go get her basket.
- 1:01:11Speaker 9: He shouldn't have carried that stuff up to the counter
- 1:01:13Speaker 9: in his hand.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: Boy, that's a little petty on your partner, you telling
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: him maybe he didn't think to go get to Maybe
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: she looked like she needed to help now, so he
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: just carried up to the register.
- 1:01:24Speaker 9: I don't really see nothing wrong with that one. But
- 1:01:27Speaker 9: he don't stop that at home.
- 1:01:28Speaker 6: Now.
- 1:01:29Speaker 9: This is why I'm questioning the guy, because he's just
- 1:01:31Speaker 9: a little bit stupid.
- 1:01:35Speaker 13: Uh.
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: He overtipped This way it get done. He overtipped the
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: cute young server and winked at her. She looked at
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: me in disgust when he winked. I asked him why
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: he gave her a fifty dollar bill, and he said
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: she might need the extra money. God, no, that is
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: the beginning of a benefit package. Oh, I know how
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: to start. You've got the Bronze package, the Gold package,
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: and the Platinum package. This fifty dollars bill is how
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: you enter into the negotiations for the bronze package. But
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: the young girl looked disgusted. Why is his old ass
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: giving me fifty dollars in front of you. He's stupid.
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: He's so damn stupid.
- 1:02:27Speaker 9: I don't think I'm being fixed this, but we will
- 1:02:30Speaker 9: come back, I try.
- 1:02:33Speaker 8: Hang on.
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: We'll have heart two of Steam's response coming up at
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter subject
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: why is my husband so darn nice? We'll get back
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: into it right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: Hey, look, you can't let the urge to sing your
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: favorite songs while you're driving distract you from that truck
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: drifting toward your lane, or that lane split.
- 1:03:00Speaker 9: Biker creeping up beside you.
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: Fortunately, every Honday offers advanced safety features that can alert
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: you to potential dangers around you.
- 1:03:08Speaker 11: That's right, because Hondai is always working to ensure the
- 1:03:11Speaker 11: road doesn't get you. Hondai vehicles have won over one
- 1:03:13Speaker 11: hundred and twenty IIHS Top Safety awards from two thousand
- 1:03:17Speaker 11: and six to twenty twenty four as of December twenty
- 1:03:20Speaker 11: twenty four.
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter,
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: the subject why is my husband so darn nice?
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: I really don't know. I'm lady I can tell you
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: right now, I don't know what's going on. Some stupid
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: messes going on.
- 1:03:35Speaker 8: Now.
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: You helped the lady at the grocery store, carried her
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: groceries up to the counter, all the way to the register,
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: and left you. You said you wouldn't have looked at
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: him side eye. If he went and got the woman
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: in a basket. She was obviously struggling with the stuff
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: right then and now, and going to get a basket,
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: she probably would have dropped the stuff.
- 1:03:51Speaker 9: So I didn't see nothing wrong with him taking it
- 1:03:52Speaker 9: up to the count.
- 1:03:53Speaker 8: You did.
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: But here what it got, stupid y'all. At a restaurant,
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: little fine little waitress come over. He give her a
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: fifty dollar bill and then wink at her. Okay, now,
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: you stupid. You turned around and ask him why did
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: you give him a fifty dollar bill? He said she
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: might need the extra money. Well, that's a pretty broad
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: who don't need no extra money. That's the beginning of
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: the packages. That's how you start offering a woman package.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: But she don't want the old man because she looked
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: at him. Well, look, you got three packages. You got
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: a bronze package, you got a gold package, you got
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: a platinum package. It's when you're dating a woman and
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: you see it a woman what she qualifies for the package.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: The opening is the fifty dollar bill to see if
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: you needed any extra money. She would say, if if
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: the wife wasn't there, thank you so much. You don't
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: know how much this has helped me. I really need that.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: Oh well, it's more where that comes from. And so
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: when you go back in the restaurant again, next thing,
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: you know, you know, we take a hundred, you know,
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: then she might be really appreciative of that hundred. And
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: then that's the bronze package. I'll give you some financial
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: assistance every now and then. Now I'm gonna come over
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: and make sure that you're all right, check on to
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: make sure you locks and stuff.
- 1:05:16Speaker 9: It's on your dose.
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: So anyway, well that's done nothing. Yeah, he got busted
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: because he did in front of him. Now he's volunteered
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: himself to do things all around the neighborhood and he
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: actually do the stuff the lady asked him. Has the
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: Lord himself spoke to him and he said, he's just
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: blessed and found his purpose. So now he's telling you
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: his purpose is to help people. So now he going
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: around the neighborhood helping out all of the single women.
- 1:05:47Speaker 9: You better help somebody boy. And he's been.
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: Visiting a lot of single moms to do.
- 1:05:56Speaker 7: Odd job?
- 1:05:57Speaker 9: What you mean odd job?
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: If you're over there visiting a single woman, anything you
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: do gonna be odd.
- 1:06:04Speaker 9: What's you changing her light bulb for?
- 1:06:07Speaker 7: That's odd?
- 1:06:08Speaker 9: What is you helping set the temperature on her refrigerator for?
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: That's odd?
- 1:06:14Speaker 9: What did you in there washing out her bath to
- 1:06:16Speaker 9: her fall? She needed help? Yo here washing her car?
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: That's odd. So now he's still rashing our intimacy too,
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: And I'm not stupid.
- 1:06:31Speaker 9: So I started following him around for the weekends. And
- 1:06:33Speaker 9: now Sureley said you should keep following it.
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: And then he spent some time at his office. There
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: was a few cars in the parking lot. I drove
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: out a few times, and each time there was one
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: car that was there the whole time his car was there,
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: and it was gone when his car left.
- 1:06:51Speaker 9: Damn, how many times did you circle?
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: You got a lot of time, My old school daddy
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: said to be waff that's the case because another woman
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: has put that spring back into my husband's step. Is
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: that true? Why is he so darn nice man. Well,
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: I could go with the Lord has changed and the
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: Lord has spoke to him and he has found his purpose.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: I would like to go with that one. The problem,
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: the problem I'm having it what is the purpose? See
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: if the Lord just showed you your purpose, show it.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: What is the purpose.
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: That ain't no damn purpose?
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: To help them to be nice?
- 1:07:42Speaker 6: To be.
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: There, lady, I'm gonna teach you one thing about me.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: We don't do anything for nothing. Whenever we do something,
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: it has to have an end and the end goal
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: because other than that, it don't make no sense.
- 1:08:01Speaker 9: Men are not that way, and we're not that clever.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: You're not nice by nature. You're saying will help you
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: for one? You want something if you're going to be
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: nice to us.
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: That's what.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: I'm over your washing, your car washing because you want
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: that big payoff at the end. Who I watched? Yeah,
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: it ain't because.
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: I like shiny cars.

- 1:10:09Speaker 16: sports to my ugly self and everything else here it is.
- 1:10:13Speaker 16: I'm just don't have nobody call him breathing hard for
- 1:10:16Speaker 16: me so he would go.
- 1:10:17Speaker 7: Uh.
- 1:10:19Speaker 10: The Dallas Mavericks have enough problems as it is. Uh,
- 1:10:22Speaker 10: Kyrie Irvin has torn his a c L.
- 1:10:24Speaker 9: He's out for the.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: Season, you know, And man, did you see it?
- 1:10:30Speaker 11: Man?
- 1:10:30Speaker 10: He but he did finish shooting his free throw. He
- 1:10:32Speaker 10: got fired toys a tail, but he did finish his
- 1:10:34Speaker 10: free throw before he left the game. And Anthony Davis
- 1:10:36Speaker 10: helped him up, which is ironic street clothes.
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: He did something. He came and picked him up. Yeah,
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: he closed, came and gout Anthony Day.
- 1:10:46Speaker 10: Uh, but he's out for the season, man, And uh,
- 1:10:49Speaker 10: let's give a shout out to Lebron James.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Can we just go ahead? And just this boy just keeps,
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: He just keeps setting records.
- 1:10:57Speaker 10: He is the all time LEADI scorer with regular season
- 1:11:00Speaker 10: in playoff with fifty thousand points.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: He just keeps going.
- 1:11:05Speaker 10: He's not stopping the closest player active that's playing as
- 1:11:09Speaker 10: close to him as Kevin Durant's Lebron James, then Kevin
- 1:11:12Speaker 10: Durant and Ken Durant way back there. He like in
- 1:11:14Speaker 10: thirty five th seven hundred, he's not even close to
- 1:11:17Speaker 10: fifty yeight. So Lebron James at forty is now the
- 1:11:20Speaker 10: all time leading scorer in points in.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: Regular season and playoffs.
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: And that's a feat.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: Now you know what you're gonna say. He's still not
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: the greatest basketball player. Still, he listened to me. Let me,
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: let me say something.
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: I've never seen a Lebron James before in my life,
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: and I have seen everybody. I had Wilt Chamberlain's name
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: on my sneakers when I was a little boy. I
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: had lou Al Sender and Kareem My Dude Jabbar name
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: on my sneakers. When I was a little boy.
- 1:11:57Speaker 9: I saw Lgin Baylor, I saw Jered Way, I saw
- 1:12:01Speaker 9: Oscar Robertson.
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: I watched Kareem Abdude Jabbar change the game of basketball.
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: I watched Magic Johnson change the way the point guard
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: position was played. I watched Isaiah's Thomas have handles and
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: a toughness and the skill set that's hard to find
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: in a guard I've watched. I watched Connie Hawkins' faner
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: role he when he made it famous.
- 1:12:25Speaker 9: I saw doctor j.
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: Connie hawkins fangle role from the Phoenix Suns, see y'aller.
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: I watched the game he. I watched all the game changes.
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: Play basketball. I know this sport man Jordan was born
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: and made the game an international game.
- 1:12:43Speaker 9: He is to this day that guy. But I've never
- 1:12:46Speaker 9: seen Lebron James.
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: I've never seen anybody play this game at this level
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: for as long as he had. Lebron James is a
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: one of a kind. The greatest basketball player ever played
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: this game of basketball was that, damn Michael Jeffrey Jordan.
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: All right, thank you, Junior, thank you. Leeve.
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: Coming up at the top of the hour, a man
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: on social media needs some advice, Steve. We'll talk about
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: it right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:13:18Speaker 3: Morning Show. kJ on Reddit rights for over a year,
- 1:13:25Speaker 3: my neighbor's dog kept getting into my yard, digging up
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: my plans and making a mess. I tried talking to
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: my neighbor reinforcing my fence, even offering to help with training,
- 1:13:36Speaker 3: but nothing worked. Finally, I installed an electric fence along
- 1:13:41Speaker 3: my side of the property line, and just like that,
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: the problem stopped. Now my neighbor is furious, saying his
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: dog Nino won't even go into his own backyard anymore
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: because it got shocked once.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: And is scared.
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: He claims I overreacted and I should have warned him.
- 1:13:59Speaker 3: But your a year of dealing with it.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: How is this my fault?
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: It ain't your fault. You put up electric fist to
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: protect your prae. Now what they need to do? What's
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: the dog's named Nino? You gotta get not Nino scared
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: to go in the yard. Just now, all we got
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: the dog Nino need to go into therapy.
- 1:14:23Speaker 9: That's all. Just couldn't work through and just work through
- 1:14:28Speaker 9: his issues.
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: He was shocked, digging up his plans and all that
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: making a mess in the regards.
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: Now Nino, don't come in the back yard no more.
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: That ain't got nothing to do with me. Put him
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: on a leash and walk him out there and walk
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: him around that yard and train him how to walk
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: around the yard. Show him there's nothing to be afraid of.
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: But now you know ain't going out there by himself.
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: Put that least some dragon his ads out there. When
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: he sits in the glass down, keep pulling. Walk him
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: over there by the fence. Why watch him go through it.
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: But you know, it's like it's like it's like invisive fence,
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: you know, which is great to have where you can
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: let your dog out and don't have to worry about
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: it running off. You get invisit fence. They put this
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: invisible force field around. They put all these white flags
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: around your yard. Then they put a dog, a collar
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: on your dog with a shock device. Every time he
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: goes by the white flags too close, he gets shot.
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: So a dog learns where the areas are, he can
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: run without getting shot, and he stays with him. And
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: it's an invisible fence. Yeah, and Junior, you really need
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: it because you already have invisible. You just need to
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: hook a collar on the dog. You can let his
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: ask go right on that there. Inst that's the way
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: you do it.
- 1:16:06Speaker 9: And they come over and they work with your dog
- 1:16:08Speaker 9: and they train and everything.
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: See they're true. Your problem solved all right. Moving on
- 1:16:14Speaker 3: to Veronica at Steve BARBFM. Veronica says, my in laws
- 1:16:17Speaker 3: constantly have something to say about my parenting. They say,
- 1:16:21Speaker 3: quote this gentle parenting isn't working, whip his behind? Or
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: ain't nobody cooking to dinners? These kids eat what we eat.
- 1:16:30Speaker 3: I know they probably mean well, but it feels like
- 1:16:33Speaker 3: they don't respect my choices as a parent. To make
- 1:16:36Speaker 3: things worse, my husband doesn't see the problem and thinks
- 1:16:39Speaker 3: I'm overreacting. I don't want to start a family feud,
- 1:16:42Speaker 3: but I also don't want to keep feeling like I
- 1:16:44Speaker 3: have to defend my parenting every time we're around them.
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: How should I handle this?
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: Well, you know, lady, let's let's look at maybe everybody
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: can't be wrong just because you want to be right.
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: The baby out of control? Oh, can't nobody do nothing
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: with it? They suggest, asked, didn't let your baby grow
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: up and do like you want to do? Win't cooking
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: two meals?
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: Spaghetti you and the green beans?
- 1:17:16Speaker 9: That's what you said.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: I don't want that.
- 1:17:20Speaker 9: We never had two meals at our house ever.
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: Oh never growing up? Never you ate whatever your parents are.
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: They didn't ask me what I wanted. I had a
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: whole lot of play the pinto beans and corn bread.
- 1:17:37Speaker 8: That's it.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: You didn't say nothing, Yeah, and you just ate it
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: and shut up.
- 1:17:51Speaker 9: Or starved.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: Right, those were your choices, all.
- 1:17:55Speaker 9: Right, It's gonna be hard to play them all when
- 1:17:57Speaker 9: you're weak.
- 1:18:00Speaker 3: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have
- 1:18:02Speaker 3: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: Right after this.
- 1:18:05Speaker 3: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Here's a question, guys.
- 1:18:11Speaker 3: Do you ever feel like your brain is turning to
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: mush after spending hours scrolling on social media? Well, if
- 1:18:19Speaker 3: you do, you're not alone. The phenomenon is called brain rot.
- 1:18:24Speaker 3: They dubbed it brain rot, and it's a real thing.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: It's a thing.
- 1:18:27Speaker 3: In fact, it was Oxford's twenty twenty four word of
- 1:18:30Speaker 3: the Year, and the term has seen a two hundred
- 1:18:33Speaker 3: and thirty percent increase in usage over the last year.
- 1:18:37Speaker 3: While it's not an actual medical condition, experts say that
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: spending too much time online can mess with your memory,
- 1:18:44Speaker 3: decision making, and overall mental health. Their advice pretty simple.
- 1:18:49Speaker 3: You got to take breaks from social media instead, get
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: some exercise, do a hobby you love, spend time in nature,
- 1:18:56Speaker 3: et cetera.
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: So the question is, what do you go do when
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: you take a break from social media, because I know
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: we do. What do you guys do?
- 1:19:04Speaker 9: I don't really need a break from social media.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: You know it that much. You don't have brain rock.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: I'm not having a brain rot.
- 1:19:13Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm not having that.
- 1:19:15Speaker 3: You don't forget things. You still have a great memory.
- 1:19:18Speaker 3: Yet you make great decisions, and your overall lotle health
- 1:19:22Speaker 3: is good.
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: Get a lot on social media, a lot of information.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: This information a lot of anxiety.
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: I'll tell you this because I work with young people
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: on the set. My makeup artists and my stylists are young,
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: and to listen to them talk. My stylist gets all
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: of his information off TikTok.
- 1:19:45Speaker 3: Coming up, coming up at thirty three minutes after the hour,
- 1:19:50Speaker 3: we'll play around him. Would you rather? Right after this
- 1:19:53Speaker 3: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hey, this
- 1:19:57Speaker 3: is Shirley Strawberry. And you know what it's like around
- 1:20:00Speaker 3: all over town and your schedule is packed all day long.
- 1:20:03Speaker 3: I mean you're booked and busy. That's when your me
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: time becomes even more important. Well, what if your me
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: time and you're driving around time were the same. In
- 1:20:12Speaker 3: the All New twenty twenty five Nissan Morano, they can be.
- 1:20:15Speaker 3: I mean, the Morano was literally designed to help you relax.
- 1:20:18Speaker 3: We're talking about ambient mood lighting and over sixty four
- 1:20:21Speaker 3: different colors and a Bose Premium sound system playing all
- 1:20:25Speaker 3: your favorite music, so you can just dial up the
- 1:20:27Speaker 3: music and the lighting to set whatever vibe you want.
- 1:20:30Speaker 3: And just like that, you created your own personal oasis
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: and you're still getting everything done.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: That's your crazy day dictates.
- 1:20:37Speaker 3: It's not often that productivity and relaxation intersect, right, but
- 1:20:41Speaker 3: they certainly do. And the all new Morano because no
- 1:20:44Speaker 3: amount of rushing around is going to get you down
- 1:20:46Speaker 3: when you're chilling in a Morano. Check it out for yourself.
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: Drive the all new twenty twenty five Nissan Morano today.
- 1:20:53Speaker 3: Ambient lighting and bows are optional features. And it's time
- 1:20:57Speaker 3: now for a round of would you rather rather never
- 1:21:01Speaker 3: know where you're going?
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: Or would you rather never know what time you're leaving?
- 1:21:05Speaker 9: So I have to go with bee.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: I don't even knowing where I'm going. Yeah, I got
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: to know where I'm going.
- 1:21:10Speaker 9: There's no way I'm going somewhere. I know where I'm going.
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: That's exactually yeah, yeah, I got nowhere. So you got
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: to know where you're going.
- 1:21:17Speaker 9: Now, I ain't got to.
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: Worry about what time we leaving, because once I figured
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: I ain't got no beers over here I'm going, I
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: don't get a damn.
- 1:21:25Speaker 9: Who up that talking?
- 1:21:29Speaker 8: All right?
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: Pretend you're single.
- 1:21:31Speaker 3: If you were single, would you rather date someone younger
- 1:21:33Speaker 3: or would you rather date someone older? If you're single,
- 1:21:36Speaker 3: someone I.
- 1:21:36Speaker 11: Can't get nobody older than that now younger now is
- 1:21:40Speaker 11: sixty eight older than me.
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: For everybody don't take care of theirself, should.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: It's just a win you rather?
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: I mean, if I was single, I could date a
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: woman in the sixties. That wouldn't bother me. Okay, because
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: because my wife is sixty beautiful and take care of herself.
- 1:22:04Speaker 9: So I'm not we were not. We we have to
- 1:22:06Speaker 9: trade this.
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: No, no, okay, all right, all right? Would you rather
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: you're just you know, you just can't get off because.
- 1:22:19Speaker 2: Lady is sick, I ain't gonna be you.
- 1:22:23Speaker 3: Would you rather your spouse become best friends with your
- 1:22:25Speaker 3: ex or would you rather become best friends friends with
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: her ex?
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: I'm not.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: So you want her to become best friends with your ex?
- 1:22:38Speaker 9: I don't want her, but I'll be able to do
- 1:22:40Speaker 9: that better.
- 1:22:40Speaker 11: But yeah, yeah, y'all going to lunch today? Huh if
- 1:22:50Speaker 11: I go somewhere with Robins.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: As girls night out? Okay, all right?
- 1:22:57Speaker 3: Would you rather have a high paying job that you
- 1:22:59Speaker 3: don't like or would you rather have a low paying
- 1:23:02Speaker 3: job that you love?
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: All that high paying job that you dislike?
- 1:23:08Speaker 9: We've been doing stuff we ain't want to do. Yes,
- 1:23:10Speaker 9: let's get the money.
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: I love selling.
- 1:23:13Speaker 11: He ain't window washing though, now I ain't window washing.
- 1:23:16Speaker 11: That's what I came out.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: Hey, you can't do it.
- 1:23:21Speaker 2: You gotta worry about doing it because they don't have
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: that yet. That job ain't nowhere, thank you.
- 1:23:33Speaker 3: That's today's rounded. Would you rather coming up at forty
- 1:23:35Speaker 3: nine minutes after the hour, we'll close out the show
- 1:23:38Speaker 3: with the one and only Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: Yo, this is Jamie Fox, this is Kim Whitley.
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: You already know what it is, measurement chieko bean, and
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: you are now listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: Hey, look, you can't let the urge to sing your
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: favorite songs while you're driving this tract you from that
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: truck drifting toward your lane or that lane splitting.
- 1:24:04Speaker 9: Biker creeping up beside you.
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: Fortunately, every Hyundai offers advanced safety features that can alert
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: you to potential dangers around.
- 1:24:13Speaker 11: That's right, because Hendai is always working to ensure the
- 1:24:15Speaker 11: road doesn't get you. Hondai vehicles have won over one
- 1:24:18Speaker 11: hundred and twenty IIHS Top Safety awards from two thousand
- 1:24:22Speaker 11: and six to twenty twenty four as of December twenty
- 1:24:25Speaker 11: twenty four.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: All right, Steve, here we are our last break of
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: the day and the time for you to close out
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: the show.
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: You know what, y'all, here's my closing remarks. And I
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: just thought of this one too. I haven't worked it
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: out in my head, but I got it worked out.
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: I got it worked out enough. God is everything. God
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: is everything. God is a very present help in the
- 1:24:53Speaker 2: time of trouble. God is everything. God can come get you, y'all.
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: I don't care what you've done. I don't care how
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: far you've fallen. I don't care how bad you feel.
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: I don't care. Whatever the circumstance you in. God can
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: make it better. Try God. If you haven't tried God,
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: please try God. If you've tried God, and you've forgotten
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: how good God is.
- 1:25:21Speaker 9: Remind yourself. Take an inventory.
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: Go over all the things you've gotten over in your
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: life that you didn't think was doable. Think of every
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: time God rescued you when you had nobody else. Think
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: of every prayer God as an ever answered of yours
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: when you didn't have no answer. Do you remember the
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: time you were completely confusing? Somehow, by the grace of God,
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: it got straightened out. I'm just trying to tell you now,
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: God is everything. I'm just saying to you, y'all, listen
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: to me. If you find yourself in a set of
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: circumstances right now and you're having trouble dealing with it,
- 1:26:03Speaker 2: God is everything. Do you know that you can actually
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: go to God right now? He will hear you and
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: provide you with the things you need. Now understand something now,
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: when you ask God for strength, you know what he
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: may do. He may put you under pressure that causes
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: you to become stronger, and at the end of it,
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: you wind up developing a strength.
- 1:26:30Speaker 12: You know what.
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: You may be asking God to bring a certain person
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: into your life, and you know what God may do.
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: God may make you spend some time by yourself, so
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: you can get a better chance to know you, so
- 1:26:42Speaker 2: when the right person come along, you'll already have a
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: sense of who you are. You may already be happy,
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: and you may not require that that person make you happy.
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: God got an answer for you, man, but he gonna
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: do it in a way that you ain't figured out.
- 1:26:57Speaker 9: That's the thing I've had to learn about God, God,
- 1:27:01Speaker 9: because you know what I do.
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: A lot of times I pray for something and then
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: I tell God how I want it to happen. In
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: the words of old people. God don't need your help.
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: What you got to do is ask God for what
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: you want and then see how He work it out.
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: Because I can almost assure you it ain't gonna be
- 1:27:16Speaker 2: the way you want to. Sometimes when you ask God
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: for something, God sends it and he delivers it to
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: you in a different way, because don't you know that
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: your life is connected to so many other lives?
- 1:27:32Speaker 8: Do you know?
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: Sometimes God delays the blessing you're asking for because He
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: trying to remove some people from your life so they
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: don't benefit from it too, so that they don't take
- 1:27:43Speaker 2: false credit for him, so that they learn a lesson
- 1:27:46Speaker 2: that it ain't about them at all. That is always
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: about him. Have you ever thought about that? That sometimes
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: God don't give it to you the way you want it,
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: because God already know the way you want it ain't
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: gonna be in the best entry you. God is everything man,
- 1:28:05Speaker 2: he is, And the most important thing I want you
- 1:28:08Speaker 2: to understand is God is available. He's available for all
- 1:28:12Speaker 2: of us. He's on call twenty four to seven. He
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: ain't ever busy. He don't have a waiting room, he
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: don't have an assistant. He everything. You can go directly
- 1:28:29Speaker 2: to him in prayer. You can start having a relationship
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: with Him right now, right now.
- 1:28:37Speaker 9: Now, listen to me. There are people who can hear
- 1:28:40Speaker 9: me say this. Who are these you know, level.
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: Ten Christians who practice Christianity on the scale of one
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: to ten and they claim to be a ten And
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: they can tell you some loops, holes and what I'm
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: telling you, But I'm telling you simply don't worry about
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: what people say. You got to get a relationship with God.
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: You don't have to be perfect to have a relationship
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: with God. God will have relationship with you just the
- 1:29:07Speaker 2: way you are. God is for broken people. God is
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: for troubled people. God is for people that's looking for answers.
- 1:29:22Speaker 2: Quitn't listen to people that act like they always got
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: it together because they don't. Quit listen to people that
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: I try to make it look like they ain't ever
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: got no problems because they do. Stop going on ig
- 1:29:39Speaker 2: got people making you think they got all this money,
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: all this lavish lifestyle, all this because they don't.
- 1:29:47Speaker 9: I'm telling you, man, they don't.
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: Get you a real relationship with God. Talk to God
- 1:29:54Speaker 2: every day about everything. If you trouble, just take it
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: to God and give it to it. Say God, this
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: is what's troubling me, and it is worrying me sick,
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: and I'm sick of this. Take exactly what's wearing you
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: to God, give it to it, and ask him for
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: some relief. He will immediately take all your burdens and
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: bath them for you so you can live your life freely,
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: so you can focus on Him. It's because what the
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: devil do. The devil makes you focus on the problem
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: so much that your problem becomes bigger in your relationship
- 1:30:37Speaker 2: with God.
- 1:30:38Speaker 9: Don't allow that to happen.
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: Keep God at the forefront, keep God in your mind,
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: as God is bigger than all my problems. So when
- 1:30:46Speaker 2: I come up with a big problem. I take it
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: to my God because my God is bigger than any problem.
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: I God and he will strengthen you and give you
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: the peace you need to.
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: Get through it.
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: Those are my clothes and remarks today. But you got something, hey,
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: y'all talk to God.
- 1:31:01Speaker 12: Stay at.
