Drogheda Councillor Calls for Reversal of Reduction in Security Cover at Lourdes ED - 11/08/2025
Concern is being expressed over the reduction of full-time security cover in the Emergency Department of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.Local Sinn Féin Councillor Debbie McCole is calling for an immediate reversal of the decision to limit it to 12 hour shifts from 12 noon to midnight.She says it's imperative that the hospital has 24-hour security staff cover there.Councillor McCole spoke to us this morning on The Agenda about this.
