- 0:01Speaker 1: If you voted for Donald Trump, just know that you
- 0:07Speaker 1: are now going to be targeted by the FBI as
- 0:11Speaker 1: the twenty twenty four election nears.
- 0:15Speaker 2: That's right.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Newsweek has broken the story that the federal government believes
- 0:20Speaker 1: that the threat of violence and major civil disturbances around
- 0:25Speaker 1: the twenty twenty for US presidential election is so great
- 0:30Speaker 1: that it has quietly created a new category of extremists
- 0:35Speaker 1: that it seeks to.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Quote, track and counter. How are you? How do you
- 0:41Speaker 2: get on this list? If you voted for Donald J. Trump.
- 0:46Speaker 1: That's right, Donald Trump and his quote army of MAGA
- 0:50Speaker 1: followers are now going to be tracked by the FBI
- 0:55Speaker 1: from now through the twenty twenty four US presidential election cycle.
- 1:00Speaker 1: The challenge, Newsweek reports, for the FBI, the primary federal
- 1:05Speaker 1: agency charged with law enforcement, is to pursue and prevent
- 1:09Speaker 1: what it calls domestic terrorism without direct reference to political
- 1:15Speaker 1: parties or affiliations. So you can't say, hey, we're gonna
- 1:19Speaker 1: monitor Republicans, right, So what can you say? You can
- 1:22Speaker 1: say you're investigating and going after Trump supporters. Yes, even
- 1:28Speaker 1: though the vast majority of its current anti government investigations,
- 1:32Speaker 1: we also now know anti government investigations are of quote
- 1:37Speaker 1: Trump supporters. That according to classified data that was obtained
- 1:41Speaker 1: by Newsweek. So this is classified information that was given
- 1:45Speaker 1: to Newsweek, and it says, all right, look, we can't
- 1:48Speaker 1: categorize the Republican Party as domestic terrorists. But what we
- 1:51Speaker 1: can do is we can say the vast majority of
- 1:55Speaker 1: Trump supporters are quote anti government, and the majority of
- 1:59Speaker 1: our current anti government investigations are of Trump supporters. That
- 2:05Speaker 1: is their words, according to classified data.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Quote.
- 2:09Speaker 1: The FBI is in an almost impossible position, says a
- 2:14Speaker 1: current FBI official who requested aminity to discuss highly sensitive
- 2:18Speaker 1: internal matters. The official said that the FBI is intent
- 2:23Speaker 1: on stopping domestic terrorism and any repeat of the January sixth,
- 2:28Speaker 1: twenty twenty one attack on the Capitol, but the bureau
- 2:32Speaker 1: must also preserve the constitutional rights of all Americans to
- 2:36Speaker 1: quote campaign speak freely and promote protest the government.
- 2:40Speaker 2: They now say, how are they going to get around
- 2:42Speaker 2: all that?
- 2:43Speaker 1: By focusing on former President Trump and his MAGA make
- 2:47Speaker 1: America Great against supporters, The official says, the bureau runs
- 2:51Speaker 1: the risk of provoking the very anti government activities that
- 2:56Speaker 1: the terrorism agencies claim their hoping to calm down and
- 3:01Speaker 1: or counter, the officials said to Newsweek, quote, especially at
- 3:06Speaker 1: a time when the White House is facing Congressional Republican
- 3:10Speaker 1: opposition claiming that the Biden administration has quote weaponized the
- 3:15Speaker 1: Bureau against the right wing, it has to tread very carefully.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Well.
- 3:20Speaker 1: There is no accusation of them coming after and weaponizing
- 3:25Speaker 1: the DOJ and the FBI to come against conservatives, folks.
- 3:30Speaker 1: That's exactly what they're doing. They're doing it in broad daylight.
- 3:34Speaker 1: They're doing against the President of the United States of America.
- 3:36Speaker 1: They're trying to put Donald Trump in prison right now
- 3:40Speaker 1: for crimes that he did not commit, knowing that he
- 3:43Speaker 1: didn't commit the crimes, because they want to silence the
- 3:47Speaker 1: president of the United States of America. They want to
- 3:50Speaker 1: make sure you don't have the chance to actually vote
- 3:53Speaker 1: for him, and now if you support him, they now
- 3:57Speaker 1: say that this is what's going to happen now. Also
- 4:01Speaker 1: has also reviewed secret FBI and Department of Homeland Security
- 4:06Speaker 1: data that tracks incidents, threats, investigations, and cases to try
- 4:12Speaker 1: to build a better picture. While experts agree that the
- 4:16Speaker 1: current partisan environment is charged and uniquely dangerous, with a
- 4:22Speaker 1: threat not only of violence but in the most extreme scenarios,
- 4:26Speaker 1: possibly civil war. They now claim. Many also question whether quote,
- 4:32Speaker 1: terrorism is the most effective way to describe the problem.
- 4:37Speaker 1: So we're all terrorists, it's terrorism, and they describe us
- 4:41Speaker 1: in the internal documents as a problem. So more than
- 4:43Speaker 1: half of America is now a problem in the eyes
- 4:46Speaker 1: of the FBI. They also say that the methods of
- 4:50Speaker 1: counter terrorism developed over the past decade in response to
- 4:55Speaker 1: you ready for this, al Qaeda and other Islamic groups,
- 5:00Speaker 1: constitutes the most fruitful way to craft domestic solutions. So
- 5:05Speaker 1: to be clear, in this actual document that is classified,
- 5:11Speaker 1: it's been leaked to Newsweek, they are describing the problem
- 5:15Speaker 1: of Magas supporters Trump voters as the same as al Qaeda.
- 5:21Speaker 1: And then they said they're going to use the same
- 5:24Speaker 1: methods of counter terrorism developed over the past decade in
- 5:27Speaker 1: response to al Qaeda and other Islamic groups to then
- 5:32Speaker 1: monitor you. Now, my question is this, if I go
- 5:37Speaker 1: to a conservative rally, am I now domestic terrorists like
- 5:40Speaker 1: al Qaeda? Am I going to be treated the same
- 5:43Speaker 1: as al Qaeda?
- 5:45Speaker 2: Quote?
- 5:45Speaker 1: The current political environment is not something that the FBI
- 5:48Speaker 1: is necessarily responsible for, nor should it be. That's what
- 5:52Speaker 1: Brian Michael Jenkins, one of the world's leading terrorism experts
- 5:55Speaker 1: and senior advisors the president of the RAND Corporations, so
- 6:00Speaker 1: he's justifying this. In a statement to Newsweek, the FBI said, quote,
- 6:05Speaker 1: the threat posed by domestic violence extremists is persistent, evolving,
- 6:11Speaker 1: and deadly. Okay, let's go back January six. They say
- 6:15Speaker 1: they're trying to prevent January six from happening again. They're saying,
- 6:17Speaker 1: it's it's just like al Qaida. How many people died
- 6:20Speaker 1: on January sixth one? And how did that woman die?
- 6:23Speaker 1: She was shot by Capitol police officer. She didn't have
- 6:27Speaker 1: a weapon and they shot her, and he wasn't charged
- 6:29Speaker 1: of any crimes and they shot her.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Let's be clear about that.
- 6:35Speaker 1: But what the FBI is saying now publicly after they've
- 6:38Speaker 1: been busted with this memo is quote the threat posed
- 6:41Speaker 1: by domestic violent extremism is extremists is persistent, evolving, and deadly.
- 6:46Speaker 1: So even though no one killed anybody on January six,
- 6:49Speaker 1: except for Capitol police shooting a woman who didn't have
- 6:51Speaker 1: a gun or did not and did not have a weapon,
- 6:55Speaker 1: the FBI is now saying we have to now go
- 6:57Speaker 1: out and treat MAGA supporters like this. They are domestic terrorists,
- 7:01Speaker 1: and we're going to use the same tools we use
- 7:02Speaker 1: against al Qaeda. After nine to eleven, the FBI's goal
- 7:06Speaker 1: quote is to detect and stop terrorists attacks, and our
- 7:09Speaker 1: focus is on potential criminal violations, violence and threats to
- 7:13Speaker 1: violence quote. Anti government, anti authority, violent extremists is one
- 7:17Speaker 1: category of domestic terrorism as well as one of the
- 7:20Speaker 1: FBI's top threat priorities. The FBI further said, quote, we
- 7:26Speaker 1: are committed to protecting the safety and constitutional rights of
- 7:31Speaker 1: all Americans.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Well that's bs.
- 7:33Speaker 1: No, they're not and will never open an investigation based
- 7:36Speaker 1: solely on First Amendment protected activity, including a person's political
- 7:40Speaker 1: beliefs or affiliation. Well that's a lie, because you guys
- 7:43Speaker 1: actually went after parents and declared they were domestic terrorists
- 7:46Speaker 1: for showing up and expressing their First Amendment protected rights
- 7:54Speaker 1: at school board meetings. We have the memo. The FBI
- 7:58Speaker 1: is lying to you. This is what they do in
- 8:00Speaker 1: third world countries and communists and socialist countries. Now you
- 8:04Speaker 1: want to know what the White House has to say
- 8:05Speaker 1: about this. The White House declined to commant on any
- 8:09Speaker 1: of this. Wow, there's also something else that's happened that
- 8:15Speaker 1: has come out of Newsweek, by the way, calling everyone
- 8:19Speaker 1: that's a Trump supporter or a domestic terrorists and well,
- 8:22Speaker 1: they're not calling us that. Let me rephrase that the
- 8:24Speaker 1: Biden administration, the FBI is not going to be monitoring
- 8:27Speaker 1: people that identify as Trump's supporters. The part that's interesting
- 8:31Speaker 1: about this is there's also another headline, and that is
- 8:36Speaker 1: Donald Trump is going to be going apparently to Capitol
- 8:38Speaker 1: Hill next week to talk to people on Capitol Hill,
- 8:42Speaker 1: or at least going to Washington to meet with people
- 8:44Speaker 1: on Capitol Hill about him possibly becoming the Speaker.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Of the House.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Now, this is pretty interesting, okay, because if he became
- 8:56Speaker 1: the speaker, and let's entertain this idea for a second,
- 8:58Speaker 1: because it's Jim Jordan's running that is, you know, there's
- 9:02Speaker 1: Steve Scalise that apparently is trying to run. But if
- 9:06Speaker 1: Donald Trump came in and Donald Trump decided, all right,
- 9:10Speaker 1: I want to be the speaker, I'll be the speaker,
- 9:12Speaker 1: right and.
- 9:14Speaker 2: I'm going to come in here.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Imagine what he could do as speaker on the issue
- 9:19Speaker 1: of protecting our First Amendment right to free speech against
- 9:25Speaker 1: the FBI coming after us and deciding that anyone that
- 9:28Speaker 1: likes or supports Donald Trump is a terrorist on a
- 9:32Speaker 1: watch list that should be monitored, because that's what they
- 9:36Speaker 1: said they are going to do.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Now.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Donald Trump made it clear, all right. He made it
- 9:41Speaker 1: very clear when he came out when he was asked
- 9:44Speaker 1: about this. Hey, I will do whatever I need to
- 9:46Speaker 1: do to serve this country. And if that is something
- 9:49Speaker 1: that I do temporarily to serve this country, then then
- 9:51Speaker 1: is he put it?
- 9:52Speaker 2: So be it?
- 9:55Speaker 1: That is a line that is one that people are
- 9:59Speaker 1: going to keep talking about. Should Donald Trump become the
- 10:04Speaker 1: Speaker of the House, What does that look like and
- 10:07Speaker 1: what does that mean? I gotta go back to Trump
- 10:14Speaker 1: and this idea of Okay, would he be an effective speaker?
- 10:18Speaker 1: He'd be a hell of a lot better I think
- 10:19Speaker 1: than Kevin McCarthy. Would he be an effective speaker while
- 10:23Speaker 1: running for president and also while being in court.
- 10:26Speaker 2: I think it gives.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Him a platform at would make it very interesting. Do
- 10:31Speaker 1: I think he'd do worse than Kevin McCarthy. No, But
- 10:35Speaker 1: Donald Trump has said over and over again, I want
- 10:38Speaker 1: to serve this country. There are people that believe him
- 10:41Speaker 1: when he says that. There's others that do. I tend
- 10:44Speaker 1: to believe him. You look at this fraud trial against him,
- 10:49Speaker 1: and he says, look, they're weaponizing the justice to they're
- 10:52Speaker 1: weaponizing it against me. As he walked to that courtroom
- 10:55Speaker 1: in New York, he's reminding us that, hey, this is
- 10:58Speaker 1: what they will do to you.
- 11:00Speaker 3: This switch up that's going on using statues see well,
- 11:05Speaker 3: which you take consumer prot statue which maybe a constitution, Does.
- 11:09Speaker 2: It allow me a jury?
- 11:11Speaker 3: Does it allow me anything? We have an agent prosecutor
- 11:15Speaker 3: or teach your change who's in college, which he's doing
- 11:18Speaker 3: through our state, or seeing companies out by the thousands
- 11:23Speaker 3: or ten people out but bodies out by the thousands,
- 11:26Speaker 3: while crime and violence driving in particular runs Granted, this
- 11:32Speaker 3: switch hunt does not allow me the juris a lot
- 11:35Speaker 3: of people saying, oh, that can't be possible. Somebody didn't
- 11:37Speaker 3: check about to do with it. Hundred sixty three twelve.
- 11:41Speaker 3: You will not entitled to a jury the first time.
- 11:44Speaker 3: It's never been used for purpose, like it's never been
- 11:47Speaker 3: used the US. It of me, the form of presidents,
- 11:51Speaker 3: the leading candidate and leading Joe Biden by a lot,
- 11:54Speaker 3: which is probably why this is all happening, not probably
- 11:57Speaker 3: what can definitely they could work be watching again money
- 12:00Speaker 3: you were said, but without that, none of these cases
- 12:04Speaker 3: would be going along feminize justice in our guy, this
- 12:08Speaker 3: trial is a disgrace.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Never happened.
- 12:11Speaker 3: The thing like this happens more simply and put it
- 12:15Speaker 3: in for that act of stays with a dislay another word,
- 12:18Speaker 3: fading to the bat. I borrowed money, Arnora, very others
- 12:26Speaker 3: borrowed money, arm ability or something. It's making different things.
- 12:32Speaker 2: You go back to what you're saying about this case.
- 12:34Speaker 1: They devalued his pretty like mar a Lago, for example,
- 12:38Speaker 1: said it's worth what I think they said eighteen million.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Everybody knows if you've been to mar Lago that you
- 12:42Speaker 1: can look it up on the internet. You know that's
- 12:44Speaker 1: not worth and anybody would buy it for that amount
- 12:46Speaker 1: of money.
- 12:46Speaker 2: How I'd buy it for that amount of money.
- 12:48Speaker 1: They're coming after this guy because they're afraid they can't
- 12:51Speaker 1: beat him. They're coming after this guy because they want
- 12:53Speaker 1: to teach a lesson to anybody in the that thinks
- 12:55Speaker 1: they might be like a Trump Republican and not a
- 12:57Speaker 1: Kevin McCarthy Republican right that plays the game within the
- 13:01Speaker 1: rules of the city and gets along with the Democrats,
- 13:04Speaker 1: and and you know, if you come to Washington and
- 13:06Speaker 1: you don't take on the FBI, take on the deep state,
- 13:10Speaker 1: then find they'll let you do your job right as
- 13:12Speaker 1: long as you leave them alone. But if you do,
- 13:14Speaker 1: they'll turn on you. And the Democratic Party has now
- 13:17Speaker 1: said they will turn on you. Now they've turned on Trump.
- 13:20Speaker 1: He's going to be in court. I don't even know
- 13:22Speaker 1: years over all of this. But they're also coming after you,
- 13:26Speaker 1: which is exactly what says when the FBIS comes out
- 13:31Speaker 1: and says that MAGA Republicans are a top threat, and
- 13:34Speaker 1: the FBI then says, well, we're committed to protecting the
- 13:37Speaker 1: safety and the constitutional rights of all Americans.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Know you're not.
- 13:40Speaker 1: They said, we'll never open investigation based only on first
- 13:43Speaker 1: men of protect activity.
- 13:44Speaker 2: That's a lie.
- 13:45Speaker 1: They open investigations into people church because they were traditional Catholics.
- 13:50Speaker 1: They categorize parents who to their school boards and spoke
- 13:55Speaker 1: about their kids and about their curriculum, about their schools, which,
- 13:57Speaker 1: by the way, the parents with their tax dollars, and
- 14:00Speaker 1: they said that they were domestic terrorists.
- 14:02Speaker 2: They said they were domestic terrorists. That is opening an.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Investigation labelling people solely based on First Amendment issue. But hey,
- 14:10Speaker 1: the FBI says, we never open we will never open
- 14:14Speaker 1: an investigation based protective activity, including a person's political beliefs
- 14:17Speaker 1: or affiliations.
- 14:18Speaker 2: That is a lie.
- 14:20Speaker 1: They're coming after Trump, and they're coming after you if
- 14:22Speaker 1: you voted for Trump, and they have the memos that
- 14:24Speaker 1: we now have to prove it words, Donald Trump and
- 14:27Speaker 1: magg Republicans are a threat to the very soul of
- 14:29Speaker 1: this country. Donald Trump and magg Republicans so and he
- 14:33Speaker 1: won that voted for him, to the very soul of
- 14:35Speaker 1: this country. That is President Biden's own words in his
- 14:38Speaker 1: own tweet last September, I'm tweeting, let's be honest, it's
- 14:41Speaker 1: his administration. It's his administration. That's the first time that
- 14:46Speaker 1: he explicitly referring to Biden singled out and his supporters
- 14:50Speaker 1: as a threat to this country. You are a terrorist
- 14:53Speaker 1: threat because you support Trump or voted for Trump, and
- 14:57Speaker 1: they will come after you, just like they're coming after
- 14:59Speaker 1: Donald Trump if you get too big. The idea of
- 15:02Speaker 1: Donald Trump possibly becoming the speaker in the midst of
- 15:07Speaker 1: all this, I don't have a problem with it. In fact,
- 15:11Speaker 1: I think it would be very interesting to see what
- 15:14Speaker 1: he could do and how he would lead the Republicans
- 15:17Speaker 1: very differently than Kevin McCarthy and go to war with
- 15:21Speaker 1: the Democrats and the deep state. As a speaker, now
- 15:26Speaker 1: to hear what Senator Ted Cruz had to say about
- 15:30Speaker 1: you being targeted by the FB if you voted for
- 15:33Speaker 1: Donald Trump, obviously Ted Cruz would be on the list.
- 15:36Speaker 2: I'm on the list.
- 15:37Speaker 1: And if you voted in the last election on Trump
- 15:39Speaker 1: or the one before, you're on the list, and the
- 15:41Speaker 1: FBI is going to monitor and come after you and
- 15:45Speaker 1: treat you like terrorists. They are targeting Trump followers for
- 15:49Speaker 1: the twenty twenty four election.
- 15:52Speaker 2: It's their memo. Listen to what Senata Cruz had about this.
- 15:56Speaker 1: I also want to get your take on a headline
- 15:59Speaker 1: that's really floaded while we've been taping this right now,
- 16:03Speaker 1: and that deals with there is now intel that shows
- 16:08Speaker 1: that Maga Republicans, Donald Trump's supporters, will be targeted by
- 16:15Speaker 1: the FBI as the twenty twenty four election nears. Newsweek
- 16:19Speaker 1: is now reporting on this and Biden to go back
- 16:23Speaker 1: tweeted in September of last year, quote Donald Trump and
- 16:27Speaker 1: Maga Republicans are a threat to the very soul of
- 16:30Speaker 1: this country, the very soul of this country.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Chris.
- 16:34Speaker 1: FBI director chrispher Ray and sworn testimony, said it's not
- 16:39Speaker 1: just Trump supporters. Early this year, he said, House Republicans say,
- 16:41Speaker 1: the FBI document that they've obtained proved that several field
- 16:45Speaker 1: offices contributed to a memo that targeted traditional Catholics. We
- 16:49Speaker 1: talked about this extensively on this show as potential tarrists
- 16:53Speaker 1: and tried to turn parishioners on their fellow church goers.
- 16:58Speaker 1: So if you just look at the last year, parents
- 17:02Speaker 1: who show up at school board meetings are to be
- 17:04Speaker 1: labeled domestic terrorists. The FBI was spending time recruiting people
- 17:10Speaker 1: in the Catholic church to spy on their friends and family.
- 17:14Speaker 1: And now we are being told that heading into the
- 17:17Speaker 1: twenty twenty four election, that if you are a Donald
- 17:20Speaker 1: Trump follower supporter, that you may be now monitored or
- 17:26Speaker 1: targeted by the FBI.
- 17:30Speaker 4: Well, that's exactly right, and part of the challenge heare, like,
- 17:34Speaker 4: for example, you focused on the FBI's targeting of traditional Catholics,
- 17:39Speaker 4: which they rightly got enormous grief because they were talking
- 17:42Speaker 4: about infiltrating Catholic churches and trying to get priests to
- 17:47Speaker 4: spy on their parishioners and become FBI informants to inform
- 17:52Speaker 4: on the members of their church. So initially the FBI said, oh,
- 17:56Speaker 4: that was a rogue office down in Richmond, Virginia, it's
- 18:00Speaker 4: not a broader problem. Now that they've admitted that it
- 18:03Speaker 4: was multiple offices that participated in that this was a
- 18:06Speaker 4: much broader effort to target traditional Catholics. And the same
- 18:13Speaker 4: is true with the targeting of Donald Trump's supporters. You know,
- 18:18Speaker 4: even this language, so you can tell someone did a
- 18:20Speaker 4: focus group on the Democrat side and they discovered the
- 18:24Speaker 4: phrase maga Republican. They're going to brand that that like
- 18:28Speaker 4: magi by the way, maga Republican, and their definition they
- 18:31Speaker 4: mean everybody. They literally mean every Republican is a maga Republican.
- 18:36Speaker 4: And then they just think the word maga is really scary,
- 18:39Speaker 4: and they claim that if you are a maga Republican
- 18:44Speaker 4: is defined as a Republican who voted for Donald Trump.
- 18:46Speaker 4: So you know, seventy five to eighty million Americans are defined,
- 18:51Speaker 4: according to this White House as potential terrorists, as threats
- 18:57Speaker 4: to democracy, and this is this, this is how Democrats
- 19:00Speaker 4: have become radicalized. They now say, if you dare vote
- 19:05Speaker 4: against Democrats, you are a threat to democracy. Just understand,
- 19:10Speaker 4: every time Democrats use the word democracy, what they mean
- 19:14Speaker 4: is me, I'm a Democrat. I want to get elected,
- 19:19Speaker 4: and anything that stands in my way is a quote
- 19:22Speaker 4: threat to democracy. They don't actually want that. They don't
- 19:29Speaker 4: actually want real democracy if it elects Republicans. What they
- 19:33Speaker 4: want is Democrats to be in power forever. And by
- 19:36Speaker 4: the way, this is intimately connected to their lawlessness on
- 19:40Speaker 4: the southern border, because the reason they've allowed seven point
- 19:43Speaker 4: six million illegal immigrants into the country is because they
- 19:46Speaker 4: want to subvert democracy by getting them to vote for
- 19:50Speaker 4: Democrats and keep Democrats in power.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Sinri I also think we should bring up in the
- 19:55Speaker 1: Newsweek article, it says that if you voted for Donald Trump,
- 19:58Speaker 1: the government will try.
- 20:02Speaker 4: Well, that's right. And in June of this year, the
- 20:06Speaker 4: FBI and the Department of Homeland Security filed a joint
- 20:11Speaker 4: report with Congress. And what they say in that joint
- 20:15Speaker 4: report is they say, quote, threats from domestic violent extremists
- 20:21Speaker 4: have increased in the last two years, and any further
- 20:25Speaker 4: increases in threats likely will correspond to potential flash points
- 20:30Speaker 4: such as high profile elections and campaigns or contentious current events.
- 20:37Speaker 4: So they're saying terrorists are associated with high profile elections.
- 20:43Speaker 4: And just to make sure there's no ambiguity that they're
- 20:46Speaker 4: not talking about Antifa, they're not talking about left wing terrorists.
- 20:49Speaker 4: They are focused on Republicans. Here's what the report concludes.
- 20:55Speaker 4: Quote socio political developments such as narratives of fraud in
- 21:02Speaker 4: the recent general election, conditions related to the COVID nineteen pandemic,
- 21:09Speaker 4: and conspiracy theories promoting violence will almost certainly spur some
- 21:15Speaker 4: domestic terrorists to try to engage in violence. Now, everything
- 21:20Speaker 4: they list there they associate with Republicans. And notice they
- 21:25Speaker 4: say COVID. So if you don't like lockdowns, you're a terrorist.
- 21:29Speaker 4: If you don't like forced maskings, you're a terrorist. If
- 21:32Speaker 4: you don't like vaccine mandates, you're a terrorist. If you're
- 21:35Speaker 4: concerned about the potential health negative effects of forced vaccines,
- 21:40Speaker 4: of the COVID vaccines, you're a terrorist. That is the narrative.
- 21:44Speaker 4: Anyone that disagrees with the regime they now define as
- 21:49Speaker 4: a violent extremist, and amazingly enough, left wing violence in
- 21:54Speaker 4: their narrative doesn't exist. So Black Lives Matter, not a
- 21:57Speaker 4: word about them, Antifa, not a word about them. The
- 22:03Speaker 4: efforts targeting. Look, we've got now violent riots that are
- 22:08Speaker 4: playing out right now in cities like Philadelphia, where they're
- 22:12Speaker 4: ransacking and looting stores, where they're attacking police officers. That
- 22:16Speaker 4: is not violent extremism. If you're a leftist, that's okay,
- 22:21Speaker 4: that's wonderful, that is beautiful social protest to burn American cities.
- 22:27Speaker 4: But yet, if if you're if you don't want to
- 22:30Speaker 4: see America lockdown again on COVID, clearly you're a terrorist.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Final question to you. I think we should give it.
- 22:37Speaker 1: A quick update on that speakership and the House vote
- 22:42Speaker 1: kind of risen to the top at this point. He
- 22:44Speaker 1: said he's willing to be the speaker that would be
- 22:48Speaker 1: And if you missed our interview with him, a two
- 22:50Speaker 1: part series on the Hunter Byden Investigation, go back and
- 22:53Speaker 1: listen to it.
- 22:54Speaker 2: He's phenomenal on this issue.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Talk about the timeline now of when we expect the
- 23:00Speaker 1: House side to take this up of deciding again who's
- 23:03Speaker 1: going to be the speaker.
- 23:04Speaker 4: Well, my understanding is the House is going to vote
- 23:07Speaker 4: on speaker next week and then I expect it to
- 23:10Speaker 4: be a roller coaster ride. I mean, you remember, back
- 23:13Speaker 4: in January, we had a roller coaster ride of over
- 23:16Speaker 4: a dozen different ballots before Kevin McCarthy was elected Speaker,
- 23:21Speaker 4: and it was very narrow. It may well be a
- 23:24Speaker 4: similar battle at this point. There are several contenders that
- 23:27Speaker 4: are talking about running. Two have announced publicly. One is
- 23:32Speaker 4: Steve Scalise. Steve Scalise is the Majority Leader was Kevin
- 23:37Speaker 4: McCarthy's number two. Steve is generally perceived to be more
- 23:42Speaker 4: conservative than McCarthy, and so Steve is running as the
- 23:48Speaker 4: candidate that can unify both the moderates in the Republican
- 23:53Speaker 4: Conference and also some of the conservatives. A second candidate
- 23:58Speaker 4: who's running, as you noted as Jim Jordan. Jim Jordan
- 24:01Speaker 4: was one of the original founders of the Freedom Caucus.
- 24:04Speaker 4: He is a prominent and well known conservative. The media
- 24:09Speaker 4: is deeply skeptical of Jim Jordan, and they say he's
- 24:11Speaker 4: too conservative to get elected and the moderates will never
- 24:14Speaker 4: support him. I don't know if that's true or not.
- 24:17Speaker 4: There is also discussion that Kevin Hearn, who is a
- 24:22Speaker 4: Republican from Oklahoma, that he may run Kevin is a
- 24:25Speaker 4: good man. It's not clear if he will, although there
- 24:28Speaker 4: have been reports that he's telling other Republicans he's looking
- 24:32Speaker 4: at the race seriously. And then there's been some chatter
- 24:35Speaker 4: that Chip Roy might run. I don't know if Chip
- 24:38Speaker 4: will run or not. At this point, neither Kevin nor
- 24:41Speaker 4: Chip are in the race, But next week they might
- 24:44Speaker 4: both be in the race. And I don't know if
- 24:47Speaker 4: yet another Republican might jump in. So I think it
- 24:50Speaker 4: will be vigorously contested. I'm sure there is a lot
- 24:55Speaker 4: of horse trading going on right now. There's a lot
- 24:57Speaker 4: of negotiations going on right now. Now. What's striking is
- 25:02Speaker 4: that each of the potential candidates went and met with
- 25:04Speaker 4: the Texas delegation. The reason they met with the Texas
- 25:07Speaker 4: delegation is Texas is the largest contingent of House Republicans,
- 25:12Speaker 4: and so you've got the biggest block of votes, particularly
- 25:15Speaker 4: if the Texas Delegation votes together. It's not clear that
- 25:18Speaker 4: they will, but they might, and so at this point
- 25:21Speaker 4: I don't know what will happen. My intention is to
- 25:24Speaker 4: stay out of it and to leave leadership elections to
- 25:28Speaker 4: House Republicans. But the answer as to who comes out
- 25:32Speaker 4: of it is going to matter quite a bit, and
- 25:34Speaker 4: so we will certainly watch with interest and continue to
- 25:39Speaker 4: provide the best analysis we can.
- 25:41Speaker 1: One of the things I've heard over the last twenty
- 25:43Speaker 1: four to forty eight hours center is there are people
- 25:45Speaker 1: that love Jim Jordan, but they don't want to lose
- 25:48Speaker 1: him on this investigation of Hunter Biden, and they're afraid
- 25:51Speaker 1: that if he became the speak expertise, is that something
- 25:55Speaker 1: that should be a concern or could he still continue
- 25:58Speaker 1: to do both or have more powers of speak.
- 26:00Speaker 4: Well, look, there's no doubt that the Speaker is by
- 26:03Speaker 4: far the most powerful player in the House, and the
- 26:07Speaker 4: Speaker of the House has enormous institutional authority. The questions
- 26:12Speaker 4: of what is the best role for each of the
- 26:15Speaker 4: Republicans in the House are going to be questions that
- 26:17Speaker 4: that the House members are going to have to decide.
- 26:19Speaker 4: And I'm sure if if that's a question being asked
- 26:21Speaker 4: about Jim Jordan, I imagine Jim will be answering that
- 26:24Speaker 4: question to his colleagues. And I expect a whole lot
- 26:27Speaker 4: of conversations on between all the House Republicans throughout this
- 26:33Speaker 4: weekend and throughout next week, and and my guess is
- 26:37Speaker 4: we'll see multiple ballots uh and, and we'll see what
- 26:40Speaker 4: ultimately comes up.
