- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things in the stubbings not true. Good to mother,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join jo. You gotta turn you, you gotta
- 1:25Speaker 1: turn to turn them out. Turn. You got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 1: out to turn the water the water go. Come, come
- 1:58Speaker 1: on your thing. Uh huh, I shall will a good
- 2:04Speaker 1: morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come on, dig
- 2:08Speaker 1: me now? Want it only? Steve Harvey got a radio show. Um.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Five things that I know successful people have to do
- 2:16Speaker 1: to be successful. The principles are the same. You can
- 2:20Speaker 1: apply it to anything, you know, if you want to
- 2:23Speaker 1: be happily married, you know, whatever it is. The principles
- 2:26Speaker 1: of success are the same. There are a series of
- 2:29Speaker 1: things that you have to do. You cannot skip the
- 2:31Speaker 1: steps of success. If you do, you're going to have
- 2:34Speaker 1: to go back and step on them anyway. So here's
- 2:38Speaker 1: here's here's here's a part man that I want you
- 2:41Speaker 1: all to understand about me and and and and about
- 2:45Speaker 1: how to look at it. You know, you cannot underestimate
- 2:54Speaker 1: faith and prayer, You just can't. You cannot underestimate the
- 3:02Speaker 1: power of faith and the power of prayer. See for me.
- 3:09Speaker 1: This is just for me. Now, this ain't in the
- 3:11Speaker 1: scripture nowhere. This is just something I discovered. What prayer
- 3:15Speaker 1: did for me was was it tied me to my creator.
- 3:21Speaker 1: It gave me a sense and I'm describing it this way,
- 3:26Speaker 1: but I'm telling you it's deeper than this. But it
- 3:29Speaker 1: gave me a sense that I wasn't alone and an actuality.
- 3:34Speaker 1: I wasn't. But prayer helped connect me to the power
- 3:41Speaker 1: source that was available to me to get through, get around,
- 3:48Speaker 1: or get over whatever it was that was in a way,
- 3:52Speaker 1: whether it was just a period I stretched, I had
- 3:54Speaker 1: to go through hard work. It had a period I
- 3:58Speaker 1: had to go through to learn some lessons, some periods
- 4:01Speaker 1: I had to go through from having to pay for
- 4:03Speaker 1: some of the mistakes I've made. Whatever the case may be,
- 4:07Speaker 1: prayer gave me a decided advantage, especially oh, here we go,
- 4:18Speaker 1: Especially over my enemies. Now, the majority of people in
- 4:23Speaker 1: my life that were my enemies. I didn't want them
- 4:25Speaker 1: to be my enemies, make no mistake about this. But
- 4:30Speaker 1: through the thing called life, some things went down. Some
- 4:33Speaker 1: things happened from here and then went over here or
- 4:36Speaker 1: that way. And a person became my enemy. The majority
- 4:40Speaker 1: of enemies I had came out of nowhere. I have
- 4:44Speaker 1: no reason to even see why they are my enemies.
- 4:47Speaker 1: But you know, life goes on, man. It happens from
- 4:51Speaker 1: time to time. Some people just won't let it go.
- 4:54Speaker 1: See some people, in their quest to do something to
- 4:59Speaker 1: you or to make you pay, they just won't let
- 5:02Speaker 1: it go. But it may cause you some discomfort, and
- 5:06Speaker 1: some of them may be lies about you and all
- 5:08Speaker 1: of this and all of that, but you that that
- 5:11Speaker 1: that can't prohibit you from going forward. So what I'm
- 5:14Speaker 1: saying is prayer gave me the strength, wisdom understanding the
- 5:19Speaker 1: carriage to either go through it, go around it, or
- 5:24Speaker 1: go over it. But it happened. I do not know
- 5:30Speaker 1: how I could have made it without faith and without prayer.
- 5:35Speaker 1: It would have. Something would have got me. You Tube
- 5:40Speaker 1: would have got me. The bloggers would have got me.
- 5:47Speaker 1: My partners that I grew up with that used to
- 5:49Speaker 1: laugh behind my back, they would have got me. My
- 5:54Speaker 1: friend that would over my mother's house one time and
- 5:56Speaker 1: told her, you know what, Steve's problem is out to
- 6:00Speaker 1: telling them jokes. He just lazy, he don't want to work.
- 6:03Speaker 1: That would have got me. They didn't know. I ain't
- 6:08Speaker 1: really mad at him because they were just All they
- 6:11Speaker 1: was doing was based in their conversations and passing judgment
- 6:15Speaker 1: based on what they knew, based on what they believed.
- 6:19Speaker 1: They didn't believe I was gonna make it. But that's
- 6:23Speaker 1: them though. If it was not for the faith, which
- 6:27Speaker 1: is the belief in things that you cannot see, I
- 6:30Speaker 1: wouldn't have made it because I would have listened to
- 6:33Speaker 1: everybody else who didn't see me getting here and went
- 6:38Speaker 1: along with it. And then prayer. Oh my goodness, man,
- 6:43Speaker 1: how many times has prayer bailed me out? Prayer has
- 6:47Speaker 1: bailed me out? Prestiel belling me out. Tell you the truth, man,
- 6:53Speaker 1: quiet as its kelp prayer, That connection to your heavenly Father,
- 7:00Speaker 1: that connection to your creator, that connection to that source
- 7:04Speaker 1: of power and inspiration, that connection of never feeling that
- 7:08Speaker 1: you were alone. You know. I was watching a Bishop
- 7:10Speaker 1: Jakes on TV yesterday and it was a repeat and
- 7:15Speaker 1: one of the things he was talking about, well, let
- 7:19Speaker 1: me just get to the gist of it. I was
- 7:23Speaker 1: going through a portion of my life and I and
- 7:27Speaker 1: I went through it for some years, y'all. I had
- 7:29Speaker 1: gotten myself into a jam that lasted for years. I'm
- 7:34Speaker 1: telling you, for years, with some serious consequences to follow.
- 7:40Speaker 1: For years. And I was so busy looking at who
- 7:48Speaker 1: I was at. I was sulking sometimes, Man, I'd get
- 7:54Speaker 1: on the radio, Man, I'd be just done. I was sulking.
- 7:58Speaker 1: My my spirit had gotten low. I had gotten tired
- 8:04Speaker 1: of the fight, and I would I would come on
- 8:07Speaker 1: some mornings, man, and I will try try not to
- 8:10Speaker 1: let on, but I was hurting. I was because I'd
- 8:12Speaker 1: been in it for years. Man, I had been in
- 8:14Speaker 1: this thing for years, and one thing I was doing.
- 8:19Speaker 1: I was so busy looking at where I was at.
- 8:22Speaker 1: And when I was watching Bishop Jakes, he preached this sermon.
- 8:27Speaker 1: He was talking about so busy looking at where you
- 8:34Speaker 1: at that you don't even realize that God has been
- 8:42Speaker 1: with you the entire time. And you know what, Man,
- 8:48Speaker 1: just yesterday, just yesterday, I heard this and I text
- 8:53Speaker 1: him a text, Bishop Jakes, and I thanked him because
- 8:56Speaker 1: it was an old message I could tell. And I
- 8:59Speaker 1: called a text up and I said, Man, thank you
- 9:01Speaker 1: so much. I was just watching you on TV and
- 9:04Speaker 1: you told me, Man, something that I that I'll always
- 9:07Speaker 1: remember that whatever you're going through, that he's there with
- 9:11Speaker 1: you the whole time. But see when sometimes when you're
- 9:15Speaker 1: so busy looking at where you at, you don't even
- 9:17Speaker 1: notice where he is. And see sometimes, man, that that
- 9:21Speaker 1: helped me, and that's going to help me in the
- 9:23Speaker 1: future to realize that what I'm going through, that he's there.
- 9:27Speaker 1: He's there with me, and he gonna protect me, and
- 9:30Speaker 1: he's gonna let my enemies overcome me, and he ain't
- 9:32Speaker 1: gonna let nobody overtake me, and he ain't gonna let
- 9:35Speaker 1: me go under because he's there. It's just you can't
- 9:38Speaker 1: be so busy looking at where you at that you
- 9:40Speaker 1: don't take notice or where he at. God is always there,
- 9:44Speaker 1: He's always available, And the best way to tap into
- 9:46Speaker 1: that and know it is you got to pray. Prayer
- 9:49Speaker 1: has changed my life. Prayer can change your life. You
- 9:54Speaker 1: can become something if you just pray. You're listening, tow
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, man, have your undivided attention. Please thank
- 10:07Speaker 1: you now, put that down, now, stop stop all that
- 10:11Speaker 1: thank you now that I haven't, it's time for the

- 13:47Speaker 1: house is my house? Got one for you right here,
- 13:52Speaker 1: let's go cat down. Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach Russell. Yeah,
- 13:58Speaker 1: this is Russell. However, Russell, I'm Isaiah. I'm a a
- 14:02Speaker 1: realator real estate and I'm trying to do some schematics.
- 14:06Speaker 1: I'm thinking, I'm I'm calling the right house. I'm not
- 14:09Speaker 1: quite sure. Are you West Dixie Road? Uh? Yeah, that's
- 14:16Speaker 1: how many square feetures your house? If you don't mind
- 14:17Speaker 1: me asking. Uh, it's about thirty five square feet. I
- 14:22Speaker 1: don't know this is the right house or not. Is
- 14:24Speaker 1: this you have a deck out in the back of
- 14:26Speaker 1: all weather type of deck out in the back? Yeah?
- 14:28Speaker 1: I do what do you? What do you? What do you?
- 14:31Speaker 1: What's this about? Okay, if you don't mind me, Russell,
- 14:34Speaker 1: how long have you lived there? Yeah? Man, I've already
- 14:37Speaker 1: asked you twice, and you're asking me for like pers
- 14:40Speaker 1: information on my credit. But what's this a reference to? Okay? Well,
- 14:44Speaker 1: like I said, I'm a realator and I'm trying to
- 14:45Speaker 1: get ahead of some things that's going on, and you're well,
- 14:51Speaker 1: it's been brought to my attention that your house is
- 14:53Speaker 1: going to be it's going into foreclosure. It's gonna be
- 14:57Speaker 1: on the on the market in the next two two
- 14:59Speaker 1: to three weeks. So I wanted to make sure I
- 15:01Speaker 1: was getting the right house, and I wanted to make
- 15:03Speaker 1: sure you got the wrong house. My my, my, my
- 15:07Speaker 1: house is not going and foreclosure. I'm up to date.
- 15:09Speaker 1: I'm good. So you got you definitely got the wrong house. Okay,
- 15:13Speaker 1: hang on so West Dixie Road, and like you said,
- 15:19Speaker 1: square feet this is a two car garage, right. I
- 15:22Speaker 1: don't know. I don't know what information you're getting. But
- 15:25Speaker 1: when it comes to my name in my crib and
- 15:28Speaker 1: what's going on with my bills and all that, I'm
- 15:30Speaker 1: up to date and I'm fine. So you got the
- 15:32Speaker 1: wrong information, you got the wrong the wrong person or
- 15:35Speaker 1: the wrong information on the right house, whatever it is.
- 15:38Speaker 1: But this is not My house is definitely not going
- 15:40Speaker 1: in the foreclosure. My bills, like it's my woman, you
- 15:43Speaker 1: get me, so I so my whole thing is is
- 15:46Speaker 1: I don't even know why you're calling. My house is
- 15:49Speaker 1: definitely not for sale. It's now or not on for
- 15:51Speaker 1: going to foreclosure. I'm not behind all my bills, Sir,
- 15:55Speaker 1: I'm telling you what my books say, and this is
- 15:57Speaker 1: all I'm looking at, legitimate legal paper money. Yo, what
- 16:00Speaker 1: I'm trying to tell you is this, I don't care
- 16:02Speaker 1: about your bucks. Read what I'm read. Read what I'm
- 16:06Speaker 1: writing to you. I'm up to date on my mortgage.
- 16:09Speaker 1: You're just a realtor, soul. My whole thing is, you're not.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Nobody's selling my house. My house is now okay, no, no no,
- 16:14Speaker 1: let's let's back up. Let's go back to you, just
- 16:16Speaker 1: the real You're not gonna talk to me like that. Now.
- 16:18Speaker 1: I'm a realtor and I'm a person. That's that's that's
- 16:21Speaker 1: on top of my game. Your house is going into foreclosure. Now.
- 16:24Speaker 1: You can be a denial if you want to be.
- 16:26Speaker 1: But I'm just trying to get on top of everything
- 16:28Speaker 1: and get you know, try to sell the house as
- 16:30Speaker 1: soon as it hits the market. So I know what
- 16:32Speaker 1: I'm not. You don't know sell my man. Look, it's
- 16:36Speaker 1: not thinking the foreclosure, dude. So so so if I'm
- 16:40Speaker 1: looking at paperwork here, why am I looking at paperwork
- 16:43Speaker 1: that has your address on it? Sir? That that sound
- 16:45Speaker 1: like a personal problem. I would see you now top
- 16:47Speaker 1: of your well, you know. The personal problem is gonna
- 16:50Speaker 1: be yours when they when they come put you out
- 16:51Speaker 1: your house. This is foreclosure. That's your address. Man, Yo, Look,
- 16:56Speaker 1: I try to tell you, man, don't knock on my door,
- 16:59Speaker 1: don't call my call, none of that. Nobody's coming to
- 17:02Speaker 1: my house knocking on the door, trying to put me
- 17:03Speaker 1: out of my house. And on top of that, a
- 17:06Speaker 1: foreclosure takes a long time. Well, that's what I mean.
- 17:09Speaker 1: This is this is, this is, this has been in
- 17:12Speaker 1: there a long time. It's coming up in the next
- 17:14Speaker 1: couple of weeks. That's what I'm telling you. What paperwork
- 17:18Speaker 1: do you have? I am looking at perk, what bank?
- 17:21Speaker 1: What do you even even know what bank did? Is
- 17:23Speaker 1: it selling the house or trying to put me in foreclosures?
- 17:27Speaker 1: Are you with do you? Are you with first fidality?
- 17:31Speaker 1: That's not a concern. Okay, will you just asked me, sir,
- 17:34Speaker 1: you just asked me. That's what's on this paperwork and
- 17:37Speaker 1: the foreclosure. You got the wrong paperwork when you have
- 17:40Speaker 1: the wrong hand dress and tap to somebody else's Shoot, Okay,
- 17:43Speaker 1: this is your address. It is the right square footage,
- 17:46Speaker 1: It is the right hand set entertaining right now on man,
- 17:50Speaker 1: I'm telling you, I'm not isn't going in foreclosure? Okay,
- 17:54Speaker 1: you know what. You're getting angry with me, but really,
- 17:56Speaker 1: if you have paid your bills, you wouldn't be in
- 17:57Speaker 1: this situation. You know what I mean, And that's bill.
- 18:01Speaker 1: I'm paying my bills, but if literally you're not paying
- 18:03Speaker 1: yours because you're on your way in the foreclosure. And
- 18:05Speaker 1: now you're getting upset with me when I'm just a
- 18:07Speaker 1: realtor calling trying to trying to catch funny to me
- 18:10Speaker 1: this funny, I handle my business barbecule right now, Dude,
- 18:15Speaker 1: I'm not this zero. Let's just general fear of me
- 18:20Speaker 1: going in the foreclosure. The attitude is not necessary. Matter
- 18:23Speaker 1: of fact, this is probably did this bull. This is
- 18:27Speaker 1: probably your last barbecue on the deck, So enjoy that.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Look you come over here and you call me again,
- 18:33Speaker 1: you'll be on the brol You got me. All I'm
- 18:35Speaker 1: telling you is this right here, bro, they come in
- 18:37Speaker 1: to close your house out in two weeks. All I
- 18:40Speaker 1: wanted was the schematics on your house. That's all I wanted. Well,
- 18:43Speaker 1: obviously you have all information you need. You already know
- 18:46Speaker 1: more about what's going on with my personal fans than
- 18:48Speaker 1: I do. But I'm gonna tell you it's gonna be
- 18:50Speaker 1: a problem to come out nas to my fucking door. Okay, Well,
- 18:53Speaker 1: I need to come up and take a look at

- 21:47Speaker 1: he told me his sexual needs aren't being met. I
- 21:51Speaker 1: want to tell him that he has to put a
- 21:52Speaker 1: ring on it if he wants unlimited sex from me,
- 21:55Speaker 1: but I have not said it because I never want
- 21:57Speaker 1: him to think I'm pressuring him to propose to me.
- 22:00Speaker 1: I also don't want to run him away by withholding
- 22:03Speaker 1: sex any longer. What's the best way to handle this issue?
- 22:07Speaker 1: I love this perfect for you to see a lot. Well,
- 22:10Speaker 1: I think you've kind of already ran him away. See
- 22:14Speaker 1: once a man come to you and decides to mention
- 22:17Speaker 1: it to you. M I want you to understand something
- 22:19Speaker 1: about this. We just mentioning it to you now, or
- 22:23Speaker 1: we've been feeling it by the time a man bring
- 22:26Speaker 1: it up. Oh, that's on our mind alone long time
- 22:32Speaker 1: before we bring it up. When we bring it up,
- 22:34Speaker 1: it's aggravating us. Now it ain't bothering us no more.
- 22:37Speaker 1: It's aggravating us. So when he made the announcement to you,
- 22:40Speaker 1: your sexual needs ain't being met, and then you didn't
- 22:44Speaker 1: do nothing to meet him because you only have sex
- 22:47Speaker 1: on special occasions when y'all travel. Okay, that's the only
- 22:56Speaker 1: time you have it sex. I don't see there. I
- 23:02Speaker 1: was wondering if you were going to say that, that's
- 23:04Speaker 1: the only time you haven't said you waiting on fourth
- 23:07Speaker 1: July and Labor Day and you know, and then you
- 23:12Speaker 1: might might give him some It's not wrong for her
- 23:14Speaker 1: to want him to put a ring on it though.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Ain't nothing wrong with that, Yeah, not at all, right,
- 23:19Speaker 1: But you're passing out tail, you know, special occasions, on
- 23:24Speaker 1: special occasions, on just Christmas? Here you go. I needed
- 23:29Speaker 1: when you're even mad at me? I know, Wait a minute,
- 23:34Speaker 1: what are you doing? It's the eighteen Thanksgiving us next turn?
- 23:44Speaker 1: Wait a minute, what you mean the time guy went back?
- 23:46Speaker 1: That's special. Yeah, because dude's gonna come back. It's sadday. No,
- 23:56Speaker 1: we met on a Saturday. She said. She never wants
- 24:00Speaker 1: him to think she's pressuring him to propose to her.
- 24:03Speaker 1: They've been together four years. But listen, it's not pressuring.
- 24:07Speaker 1: You have every right. I've said it a million times.
- 24:10Speaker 1: You have every right to be a part of where
- 24:12Speaker 1: your life goes. And it's not pressuring. It's what you want.
- 24:17Speaker 1: So I don't know how you're gonna get what you
- 24:19Speaker 1: want without asking for That's right. Men don't read mind's
- 24:24Speaker 1: real good. I can tell you that right now. We're
- 24:25Speaker 1: kind of stupid when it comes to that. Yeah, I
- 24:30Speaker 1: probably Well if they don't, he show ain't having sex
- 24:34Speaker 1: just on special occasions. All right, we're moving on. Jeane
- 24:41Speaker 1: in South Lake City says, I've been married for twelve
- 24:44Speaker 1: years and I have a sister. It's fifty five years
- 24:46Speaker 1: old and has never been married because she's waiting for
- 24:50Speaker 1: her friends with benefits relationship to get serious. The guy
- 24:54Speaker 1: has been stringing her along for almost five years, and
- 24:56Speaker 1: he's sixty three and will never he leave his wife.
- 25:01Speaker 1: He has been sneaking around and telling his wife that
- 25:04Speaker 1: my sister is an old friend from his hotel. How
- 25:07Speaker 1: can I get her to see this man ain't going anywhere.
- 25:12Speaker 1: It's hard to convince a person like that who hasn't
- 25:17Speaker 1: set in his mind that he is going somewhere. Your
- 25:21Speaker 1: problem ain't the fact that you want to tell her
- 25:24Speaker 1: he ain't going nowhere. The problem is she believes he
- 25:29Speaker 1: will go somewhere. See that's a little distinct difference. Take
- 25:34Speaker 1: out of it what you think, and I want you
- 25:37Speaker 1: to consider what she thinks. She thinks it's a possibility.
- 25:40Speaker 1: Now you know it's not. It's been twelve years, she said.
- 25:45Speaker 1: Or she been married twelve years and he's sixty three
- 25:53Speaker 1: five years. It's not going nowhere. Waiting on these friends
- 25:57Speaker 1: with benefits to change your relationship is what it is.
- 26:01Speaker 1: You're the friend would have benefit, he'd have told his
- 26:04Speaker 1: wife you his friend. You've accepted the title of friend.
- 26:09Speaker 1: You ain't even to be no more you number two.
- 26:12Speaker 1: I keep telling y'all, we don't promote. We don't do
- 26:18Speaker 1: in house promotions. Dan tell me that quite clear while
- 26:22Speaker 1: you were out here. You don't get to be number
- 26:24Speaker 1: two for a longs period of time known as a
- 26:27Speaker 1: number one, and then get moved up to number one.
- 26:31Speaker 1: That ain't what we do, all right? Moving on, Deschondelin
- 26:35Speaker 1: out of Tennessee says, I'm in my mid forties and
- 26:37Speaker 1: I've dated some werewolves lately. I am always well groomed
- 26:42Speaker 1: from head to toe, meaning I wax and remove all
- 26:45Speaker 1: body hair regularly. The last two men I dated, we're
- 26:49Speaker 1: fine with being ungroomed, and said it's too girly for
- 26:53Speaker 1: a man to be clean shaven or neatly groomed down there.
- 26:56Speaker 1: My last boyfriend would leave his stubbly hair in my
- 26:59Speaker 1: sheets and in my shower when he stayed at my place.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Why is it that men consider it as being too
- 27:05Speaker 1: feminine if their hair is neatly groomed all over the
- 27:10Speaker 1: l oh if you're talking about oh, yes she is,
- 27:14Speaker 1: thank you shave in that area all you must have
- 27:19Speaker 1: beaten lost your damn mother. You that's exactly what How
- 27:24Speaker 1: do you go? She said? We have what? Oh, we
- 27:32Speaker 1: have extremities. We have parts that's connected and hanged. Yeah,
- 27:41Speaker 1: they can't run into stubble. Yeah, it's too shocking. He's
- 27:49Speaker 1: never been stabbed before. He can't do this all day.
- 27:55Speaker 1: So she should get used to being with werewolves, is
- 27:57Speaker 1: what you're saying. I'm not saying they werewolves, but nobody
- 28:00Speaker 1: fitting clean up, not not not not shade girl, wax
- 28:07Speaker 1: na see ladies, ladies, ladies wax and do all some
- 28:14Speaker 1: things and it's appreciated. And you know, so you wouldn't
- 28:20Speaker 1: consider laser hair removal. You're listening, breaking out some tears
- 28:37Speaker 1: may help you land your next job. During a job interview,
- 28:41Speaker 1: you definitely want them to remember you. And it turns
- 28:44Speaker 1: out a few tears just might do the trick. While
- 28:47Speaker 1: you may think that crying during the interview process would
- 28:50Speaker 1: blow your chances of getting a job, there are some
- 28:53Speaker 1: people who say it actually works. Wonders. Okay, well let's
- 28:58Speaker 1: go there. Okay, we're in a job interview you and
- 29:02Speaker 1: call our interviewing me. Okay, and so let's go and
- 29:09Speaker 1: let's start the interview. Let's start the interview again. Well,
- 29:13Speaker 1: good morning, mister Harvey. How are you today? Fine? How
- 29:15Speaker 1: are you Harvey? You mister Strawberry, mister Miles, thank you
- 29:19Speaker 1: for having me such an opportunity. All right, So, mister Harvy,
- 29:23Speaker 1: let's get start. I wanted to ask you what exactly, um,
- 29:25Speaker 1: what makes you qualify for this job? Well, having had
- 29:29Speaker 1: several jobs before that gave me the experience of the
- 29:33Speaker 1: exact thing that you folks are looking for just pretty
- 29:36Speaker 1: much made me qualified. And you know, everybody that I've
- 29:42Speaker 1: ever worked with have always said I was really just
- 29:44Speaker 1: over qualified. Here, Um, let me ask you something, mister Harvey.
- 29:53Speaker 1: Why did you leave your last job? Oh? God, huh
- 30:03Speaker 1: just so difficult that you bought this up? Yeah? Oh god,
- 30:11Speaker 1: do you need a mom? I was I was there
- 30:16Speaker 1: for sixteen years and no really. Uh, you know, they
- 30:23Speaker 1: just came in and they just closed it. I mean
- 30:28Speaker 1: they just shut it, shut the doors. Well, let me
- 30:34Speaker 1: I was in the parking lot when it had happened.
- 30:39Speaker 1: I was standing there, Jane, Jane the joint crying, mister Harvey. No, no, no,
- 30:53Speaker 1: I'm not. It was just so traumatic. Jane doing interview.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Let me jump in here, Okay. Just before they were
- 31:04Speaker 1: all in there, I wanted to ask you, mister Harvey. Uh,
- 31:13Speaker 1: you know, a job like this, you're gonna be working
- 31:15Speaker 1: with a lot of people. You're gonna be doing a
- 31:16Speaker 1: lot of interacting. Uh, you know, how do you do
- 31:19Speaker 1: you have the skill set to actually interact with other people? Yeah,
- 31:23Speaker 1: excuse me, Yeah, I'm interacted quick. Damn, I'm sorry. Doesn't
- 31:29Speaker 1: take much. We see. Oh yeah, I interact with people
- 31:35Speaker 1: from time to time. You's just talking about it sort
- 31:40Speaker 1: of gets me. No, no, no, I'm fun, fun with
- 31:43Speaker 1: other people. Well, um, mister Harvey, this is a sales
- 31:48Speaker 1: position we're um looking to hire you for and we
- 31:52Speaker 1: just want to make sure that you're the right person.
- 31:55Speaker 1: As Thomas mentioned earlier, you have the right qualifications for
- 31:59Speaker 1: this position. You have to interact with people, you have
- 32:03Speaker 1: to sell our product. And you know, people buy you
- 32:08Speaker 1: first before they even buy the product. So I just
- 32:12Speaker 1: want to make sure that that, um, you know, this
- 32:15Speaker 1: little crying thing I hear, um, it's it's not really
- 32:22Speaker 1: I just I don't cry. I got a question for you.
- 32:26Speaker 1: I don't just cry. You know all this time sounds
- 32:31Speaker 1: like you do. I'm out of work. I'm crying because yeah,
- 32:37Speaker 1: there's no crying at work. I don't want I'm not
- 32:40Speaker 1: hear yet. Can stop you cry? Two of you? One?
- 32:58Speaker 1: What are your strengths? Let's talk about something positive. One
- 33:02Speaker 1: of my strengths is I can absolutlutely pull it together.
- 33:10Speaker 1: That's one of my stroke. I promise you I care
- 33:13Speaker 1: if you just hiring me, you just give me a job.
- 33:17Speaker 1: See it, It's like instant if one of just say
- 33:20Speaker 1: you're hired, begin to show you the city. The eighteenth interviews,
- 33:30Speaker 1: this is the third level. This is supposed to be it.
- 33:33Speaker 1: I was told by your supervisor that it wouldn't we
- 33:37Speaker 1: wouldn't even be here to here I am, and we're
- 33:41Speaker 1: still talking a job. Well, this is that's why it's
- 33:48Speaker 1: called a process. Mister Harvey O. Pross. Yeah, oh, the
- 33:54Speaker 1: interview process suffer Jesus, Um, he'll stop. Please. Well, let's
- 34:09Speaker 1: let's evaluate Miss Shirley Strawberry and Colin. Do you think
- 34:12Speaker 1: we have the right person for the job. Well, how
- 34:15Speaker 1: about we let this person sell themselves in thirty seconds
- 34:19Speaker 1: to us. Okay, yeah, sounds good. Mister Harvey, could you
- 34:22Speaker 1: sell yourself for thirty seconds to us? Please? Okay, you
- 34:28Speaker 1: need a moment you want to go out, let me know. Okay, okay,
- 34:33Speaker 1: and you can start now and now. And I believe
- 34:37Speaker 1: that I'm extremely qualified for this position due to the
- 34:41Speaker 1: fact that I'm probably the most experienced candidate that you'll
- 34:44Speaker 1: meet from time to time. I've also discovered that I
- 34:48Speaker 1: have several traits that this company's lacking, and I can
- 34:50Speaker 1: be a most fulfilling factor in developing the app loot
- 34:57Speaker 1: direction of your firm and your company. I will be
- 35:00Speaker 1: nothing but an asset, and that is why I think
- 35:03Speaker 1: I should have the job. Okay, all right, he said
- 35:08Speaker 1: a mouth right there, no tears. Okay. If you're asking me,
- 35:13Speaker 1: I would say he's hired. Oh god, you're listening to
- 35:20Speaker 1: show all right? Time now for would you rather would
- 35:25Speaker 1: you rather take care of your friend's baby or your
- 35:30Speaker 1: friend's dog. Give me that dog. Give me that dog. Man, Yeah,
- 35:36Speaker 1: I got that dog. I ain't got that. I ain't
- 35:37Speaker 1: got the rock that. I ain't got the burpad dog,
- 35:42Speaker 1: and your dog can't tell on me. So give me
- 35:44Speaker 1: the dog. The dog, because I'm studying your damn dog.
- 35:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna let his ass go. Literally, little baby, I
- 35:54Speaker 1: forgot your baby. You'll be looking for your dog. At
- 35:57Speaker 1: least I can feed the dog, and dog will do
- 35:59Speaker 1: what he got to do. Well, I'm gonna tell you
- 36:01Speaker 1: right now, I'm not gonna I'm going to forget your dog. Yeah,
- 36:08Speaker 1: but were you were you? Were you at least will
- 36:11Speaker 1: you at least feed the dog? Will you at least
- 36:13Speaker 1: do that? Oh? Yeah, yeah, I don't abuse animals, you
- 36:16Speaker 1: know exactly at all. I'm gonna get to feed that base.
- 36:20Speaker 1: I don't know I am though. Okay, the dog and
- 36:26Speaker 1: you fall in the swimming pool. You need to get
- 36:27Speaker 1: dog petty. They don't know they can pedal. Did they
- 36:32Speaker 1: get in there? They don't know they can know what
- 36:34Speaker 1: they get in there. We're moving on. Would you rather
- 36:38Speaker 1: the painful truth? The painful truth? Or would you rather
- 36:42Speaker 1: a comforting lie? God? Yeah, I'm gonna take that lie.
- 36:46Speaker 1: But I'm always for the comforting line. You need it, right,
- 36:52Speaker 1: You don't want to know the truth? Man? Yeah, a
- 36:57Speaker 1: good comforting lie. I appreciate the effort. What do you
- 37:00Speaker 1: want to know? All three comedians on this show, We're
- 37:04Speaker 1: cool with lie, We're cool with much Rather another truth? Wow,
- 37:10Speaker 1: the truth? If you can really lie to me and
- 37:14Speaker 1: make me feel good about it. I oh, I'm gonna
- 37:17Speaker 1: figure something out. Don't worry about that. Wow. But the
- 37:23Speaker 1: fact that you tried, see lie, lets me know you tried.
- 37:26Speaker 1: You know the pain for truth. Let's let's delay that
- 37:32Speaker 1: pain as long as Pump can't hear it and get
- 37:36Speaker 1: it over with, all right, all right? Would you rather
- 37:40Speaker 1: a dirty kitchen or a dirty bathroom? Oh? God, now,
- 37:48Speaker 1: I'll take a dirty, dirty kitchen for dirty bathroom because
- 37:54Speaker 1: the kitchen, let me know, you put your effort in.
- 37:57Speaker 1: But that bathroom, your ass is ast you is nasty.
- 38:02Speaker 1: I'm so funny about bathrooms. Yes, Junior from you? Yeah, yeah,
- 38:15Speaker 1: all right? Would you rather have massive success by accident
- 38:20Speaker 1: or a modest success on purpose? A massive accidental success,
- 38:28Speaker 1: massive massive lucky? We want to I want abundance. You're
- 38:37Speaker 1: listening to show? All right, Jay, it is time for
- 38:43Speaker 1: comedy roulette. It's just the insults. Every week you test
- 38:49Speaker 1: out comedy ability. Tell you what to do? Take five, sup,
- 38:52Speaker 1: put them on a wheel, spinning a wheel. Whit stop,
- 38:56Speaker 1: We'll do the damn thing. What you got? All right,
- 38:58Speaker 1: here we go. I have the kind of stories. Let's
- 39:02Speaker 1: spend I mean, let's get ready. All right? She she
- 39:05Speaker 1: hasn't she has an invisible boyfriend. Oh everybody knows somebody

- 41:46Speaker 1: at your mama's house. You always smell damn the smell

- 43:43Speaker 1: or leave him? Is the subject? Okay, right now, nephew
- 43:47Speaker 1: in the building with today's prank phone call. What you
- 43:50Speaker 1: got for us? After this? Right here, y'all, this is
- 43:52Speaker 1: called Jezebel spirit. Uh huh Jezebel Spirit, take your time. Hello. Hello,
- 44:05Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a sister Alicia. Alright, alright, alright,
- 44:12Speaker 1: you may not know my voice, but I'm sure you
- 44:13Speaker 1: probably know me if you saw me. But I'm brother
- 44:15Speaker 1: Greg at the church. Okay, all right, how are you doing.
- 44:19Speaker 1: I'm good, I'm good. I'm sorry to disturb your evening.
- 44:22Speaker 1: I wanted to reach out to you the uh, you know,
- 44:26Speaker 1: the workers at the church. We we had a meeting.
- 44:30Speaker 1: Uh a lot of the deacons and the sisters at

- 44:50Speaker 1: all right, well now we got a bit of a problem,
- 44:54Speaker 1: but uh uh uh. They felt that it would be
- 44:58Speaker 1: best for me to call you and discussion with you
- 45:02Speaker 1: and and let you know what the uh you know
- 45:05Speaker 1: what they have agreed upon. I'm just basically the messenger
- 45:08Speaker 1: and I'm just calling you to give you the word
- 45:10Speaker 1: of what's going on. Okay, um right, yeah, brother Gregg.
- 45:18Speaker 1: H your wife is an a choir, right, uh yeah, yeah, life, yeah, okay, okay,
- 45:24Speaker 1: I know I think I know, yeah, okay, okay, all right, Um, well,
- 45:31Speaker 1: like I said, Sister Alicia, what the officials of the
- 45:34Speaker 1: church are saying is that they they're saying that they
- 45:39Speaker 1: have reason to believe that your sister has been having
- 45:43Speaker 1: an affair with with pastors and uh, my sister, your
- 45:51Speaker 1: sister Melanie. They saying she's having it and having a
- 45:54Speaker 1: fair with having an affair with pastor. Now and I'm,
- 45:59Speaker 1: like I said, I'm just the messenger. Okay, So why
- 46:03Speaker 1: are y'all calling me about something Melany doing well to
- 46:08Speaker 1: do with me? Like I say, the officials had a meeting,
- 46:12Speaker 1: and what they're saying is this is nothing but a
- 46:16Speaker 1: jezzer bear spirit. And what they are not wait, wait,
- 46:21Speaker 1: wait a minute now, now you being rude. Now come on,
- 46:23Speaker 1: and oh okay, I'm gonna hear yet now you're just
- 46:28Speaker 1: hear me out. Now. They're saying that this is a
- 46:31Speaker 1: jezzer bear spirit and they would rather all of the
- 46:37Speaker 1: family not be welcome at the church anymore. Okay, First
- 46:45Speaker 1: of all, why are you delivering a message to me
- 46:48Speaker 1: about my sister. If you have a problem with my sister,
- 46:52Speaker 1: seems like you would be calling my sister. Now we
- 46:55Speaker 1: shot step for people. So why are you calling me
- 46:58Speaker 1: about my sister of out of rumor? And now you
- 47:02Speaker 1: say y'all don't want me in the church? Is that?
- 47:05Speaker 1: Is that what you're saying? Brother? Some family? So if
- 47:12Speaker 1: you got some brothers sisters on team, they want because
- 47:16Speaker 1: they ever deadly. All of the ladies in the comfort
- 47:19Speaker 1: fact must have some type of Jezebell's spirit of no
- 47:22Speaker 1: nobody and they don't want to Wait wait, wait, wait
- 47:25Speaker 1: a minute, now you just like I said, now, be
- 47:28Speaker 1: be mindful who you're speaking to, calling somebody or Jezebel.
- 47:34Speaker 1: I know what you can't do is called somebody and
- 47:37Speaker 1: accuse somebody and then call them a derogatory word. Come on,
- 47:40Speaker 1: somebody a Jezebel and a Jezebel. Now you being rude, sir.
- 47:46Speaker 1: It's a Jezebel's spirit, is what they were saying. Okay,
- 47:50Speaker 1: they's got to be the most asternine, foolish and that
- 47:53Speaker 1: has ever heard of my life? Who done that? Who
- 47:56Speaker 1: are you to call me? Don't ask me no that
- 48:00Speaker 1: you're calling me all like some hoosh like, who who
- 48:03Speaker 1: the hell cost my day? I got a Jezebel? Sis,
- 48:05Speaker 1: that's gonna calling somebody? Kids? I'm like, you got a
- 48:07Speaker 1: bad ass kid? Does your mama have a Jezebel spid? Wait,
- 48:10Speaker 1: wait a minute, I'm just did your mama? Does your
- 48:13Speaker 1: red little sit wearing wife out of Jezebel's spirit? So
- 48:17Speaker 1: I'm asking you and the whoop your ass. That's what's
- 48:20Speaker 1: gonna happen. You're gonna mess around and get your ass
- 48:22Speaker 1: up and get drawn through the damn pool, pitch around
- 48:25Speaker 1: with the top well as a right now, the family
- 48:29Speaker 1: can't come to the church. You think we want to
- 48:31Speaker 1: be around a church that got people call asking me,
- 48:34Speaker 1: I sholl damn I do I have a Jezebel? Still
- 48:39Speaker 1: you never answered the question do you have one? I
- 48:43Speaker 1: might have a rain had spirit? Now you know she
- 48:46Speaker 1: was a good man of Bible. Now I've been amember
- 48:48Speaker 1: this damn church for the last eight year, and I
- 48:50Speaker 1: don't say plenty of tides to this damned church and
- 48:52Speaker 1: its attack the fable with me? You help that have
- 48:56Speaker 1: a problem with me? Just Alicia? Yeah, let me say
- 49:02Speaker 1: this and I'm gonna be go ahead. First of all,
- 49:04Speaker 1: before you see another damn work, you need to apologize

- 49:41Speaker 1: for that. I don't know who the lady is in
- 49:45Speaker 1: the quired with the realist sticker one day. I have
- 49:48Speaker 1: no idea, all right, no je a bell spirits, none
- 49:54Speaker 1: of that. We all right, maybe maybe your ray half,
- 49:57Speaker 1: like I said, baby, your gray half, because even more
- 50:00Speaker 1: than one Bible, she did good work for the kingdom,
- 50:03Speaker 1: because you know I was working for the kingdom. Now,
- 50:06Speaker 1: I said, I have been. I've been a long time.
- 50:10Speaker 1: Now wait you know what, Oh church people. I love

- 51:29Speaker 1: is the Strawberry Letter. Thank you nephew. Subject Should I
- 51:33Speaker 1: love him or leave him? Dear Stephen Shirley. I met
- 51:36Speaker 1: an older guy and I was attracted to him, but
- 51:39Speaker 1: played hard to get. He begged me for a first
- 51:42Speaker 1: date and I eventually agreed to go out with him.
- 51:45Speaker 1: He asked me to pick him up, and I didn't
- 51:47Speaker 1: think much about it since his house was on the
- 51:49Speaker 1: way to the restaurant. When I got to the house,
- 51:52Speaker 1: he came out, and so did a much older lady.
- 51:56Speaker 1: He got in my car and told me that was
- 51:58Speaker 1: his mother. That was his mom, and that he lived
- 52:01Speaker 1: with her. At this point I had an opportunity to
- 52:03Speaker 1: tell him that I was not interested, but I went
- 52:06Speaker 1: out to dinner with him. Anyway, at dinner, he told
- 52:09Speaker 1: me that he's a convicted felon, but that was years
- 52:12Speaker 1: ago and he's got a great job and a new
- 52:14Speaker 1: life now. I kept seeing this man and eventually went
- 52:18Speaker 1: to his home, well his mom's house, and saw how
- 52:22Speaker 1: filthy his room was. And I also noticed that his
- 52:25Speaker 1: mom's yard was unkept and there was trash lying around
- 52:29Speaker 1: the driveway and porch. There. These were red flags, and
- 52:32Speaker 1: I told him he should do better at helping his
- 52:36Speaker 1: mom out around the house. Then I invited him to
- 52:39Speaker 1: my house to meet my two children. I know he
- 52:42Speaker 1: talks really hood and street, but I thought he would
- 52:45Speaker 1: do better when he met my children. He did not,
- 52:48Speaker 1: and my kids asked him why he was talking like
- 52:51Speaker 1: a rapper. He kept commenting on how nice I kept
- 52:55Speaker 1: my house, and after the visit, his conversations turned to
- 52:59Speaker 1: us making a commitment. He suggested moving in with me
- 53:02Speaker 1: so we could be closer and he could help me
- 53:05Speaker 1: out around the house. I was excited at first because
- 53:08Speaker 1: I really like this man, but then I thought I
- 53:12Speaker 1: was being naive and he could just be using me.
- 53:15Speaker 1: Although he has some character flaws. Could I work on
- 53:18Speaker 1: this fixer upper and be happy, or should I leave
- 53:21Speaker 1: this man at his mama's house. Please advise, run, run,
- 53:27Speaker 1: run as far away from this man as you possibly can.
- 53:30Speaker 1: I mean, you got to leave this man alone. Please.
- 53:33Speaker 1: I mean, when you see red flags, don't ignore them.
- 53:36Speaker 1: That's what red flags are. Four. Okay, let's go through him.
- 53:40Speaker 1: He lives with his mom, all right. The yard is nasty,
- 53:47Speaker 1: his room is nasty, He has no car, He doesn't
- 53:50Speaker 1: know how to be a good role model in front
- 53:52Speaker 1: of your children. And if he's got such a nice job,
- 53:56Speaker 1: in a great job and all this stuff like you
- 53:58Speaker 1: see in the letter, why doesn't he save his money
- 54:00Speaker 1: and get an apartment. There was no discussion about that
- 54:03Speaker 1: in this letter. And you know it wasn't until after
- 54:07Speaker 1: he saw your place, after he came over there, that
- 54:10Speaker 1: he started, you know, like kind of pressuring you to
- 54:13Speaker 1: move in and to be committed. He said he would
- 54:16Speaker 1: help you around the house. Oh really, you would help her,
- 54:20Speaker 1: but you're not. He'll help you, but he's not going
- 54:22Speaker 1: to help his own mom around the house. He could
- 54:24Speaker 1: at least clean up the yard, and what about his room?
- 54:27Speaker 1: Come on, I don't get this. I say, don't let
- 54:30Speaker 1: him in your house in this kind of a way.
- 54:34Speaker 1: Don't let him move in. Please, this is not how
- 54:37Speaker 1: you want to live. You have two kids to think about.
- 54:40Speaker 1: I think if he was and you didn't mention you know,
- 54:42Speaker 1: what he was incarcerated for or anything like that, you
- 54:45Speaker 1: just said he's out. That was years ago, and he
- 54:47Speaker 1: has a great job in a new life now. But
- 54:50Speaker 1: it just doesn't look like it or seem like it.
- 54:53Speaker 1: You know. Yeah, he could be using you, but I
- 54:55Speaker 1: say no, it's too soon to move in. Don't let
- 54:58Speaker 1: him do it. Steve, I'm I'm confused. I really am
- 55:06Speaker 1: uh huh about Why? Why is she writing us? Yeah?
- 55:11Speaker 1: What what is the purpose of this letter? I don't
- 55:14Speaker 1: even know why? Why are we? Why are we talking
- 55:17Speaker 1: to her about? Who? Who are we talking about? That?
- 55:23Speaker 1: Everything in this letter screams what? Yeah, I mean, the
- 55:30Speaker 1: whole damn letter. Let's start. I met an older guy
- 55:39Speaker 1: right down and use attracted to him, but you played
- 55:44Speaker 1: hard to get Okay, you know, older guy. He begged
- 55:49Speaker 1: me for a first date. I agree with brother. He
- 55:51Speaker 1: asked me to pick him up. Right now, let's stop,
- 55:54Speaker 1: let's let's go. Let's listen. Just listen. You met her
- 55:59Speaker 1: older guy, he asked me to pick him up. I
- 56:04Speaker 1: ain't think nothing about it, since his house was on
- 56:07Speaker 1: the way to the restaurant. When I got to the house,
- 56:10Speaker 1: he came out, and so did a much older lady.
- 56:16Speaker 1: Let's circle this. Let's just go for what we got
- 56:19Speaker 1: so far. Matter older guy, he asked you to pick
- 56:22Speaker 1: him up. He come out of the house with an
- 56:23Speaker 1: old ass lady. He got in my car and told
- 56:27Speaker 1: me this was his mom and he lived with her.
- 56:34Speaker 1: Let's circle that. At this point I had the opportunity
- 56:37Speaker 1: to tell him I was not interested. But I went
- 56:39Speaker 1: out to dinner with him anyway for what why? Let
- 56:47Speaker 1: me circle that. I went out to dinner with him anyway.
- 56:53Speaker 1: Then at dinner, he told me he's a convicted feeling.
- 56:58Speaker 1: Let's circle that twice. But that was years ago, and
- 57:03Speaker 1: he got a good job and got a new life.
- 57:06Speaker 1: Now I kept seeing this man and eventually went to
- 57:10Speaker 1: his house, well, his mama's house. Okay, let's cuckle that,
- 57:14Speaker 1: because now were you why are you still talking to
- 57:16Speaker 1: his answer? After this? I don't know, but you went
- 57:19Speaker 1: back to his mama's house. And then this older man
- 57:23Speaker 1: you met. You saw how filthy his room was. You know,
- 57:28Speaker 1: the last time I had a room, I was seventeen. Yeah,
- 57:37Speaker 1: and last time I took somebody to my room other
- 57:40Speaker 1: than a dormitory in college. Yeah, all right, how filthy
- 57:47Speaker 1: his room was. Let's stop down or to be right
- 57:51Speaker 1: at twenty three after the hour, A subject of Today's
- 57:54Speaker 1: Strawberry Letters, Should I Love him or leave him? We'll
- 57:57Speaker 1: be back right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve,
- 58:03Speaker 1: Come on, let's recap Today's My recap can just be
- 58:09Speaker 1: a continuation because as I continue, I'll explain it. I'm
- 58:14Speaker 1: gonna show you everything that's wrong with this letter. This
- 58:16Speaker 1: letter is should I Love him? Or leave him? Stephen Shirley.
- 58:20Speaker 1: I met an older guy. I circled that I was
- 58:25Speaker 1: attracting him, but I played hard to get. He begged
- 58:28Speaker 1: me for a first date. I eventually agreed to go
- 58:30Speaker 1: out with him. He asked me to pick him up.
- 58:33Speaker 1: I circled that everything I circled is screaming what. I
- 58:40Speaker 1: ain't think much about it, since his house was on
- 58:42Speaker 1: the way to the restaurant. When I got to the
- 58:43Speaker 1: house and he came out, and so did a much
- 58:47Speaker 1: older lady, I circled that, who is this old ass lady?
- 58:54Speaker 1: He got in my car and told me that this
- 58:57Speaker 1: was his mom and he lived with her. I circled that,
- 59:02Speaker 1: let's go back, older guy, you had to pick him up.
- 59:06Speaker 1: He's this old lady stay there and you found out
- 59:09Speaker 1: his mama. At this point, I had an opportunity to
- 59:12Speaker 1: tell him I was not interested, but I went out
- 59:15Speaker 1: to dinner with him. Anyway. I circled that. The question
- 59:19Speaker 1: I'm begging everybody to ask yourself is why is you
- 59:22Speaker 1: at dinner with this old ass man to stay at
- 59:25Speaker 1: the house with his mama that you had to pick up.
- 59:27Speaker 1: That's all I'm ask At dinner, he told me he
- 59:31Speaker 1: was a convicted fellon. This whole letter is going to hell.
- 59:37Speaker 1: But I kept seeing the man. Why Eventually I went
- 59:43Speaker 1: to his house where his mom's house. So I circle
- 59:46Speaker 1: that because it took you two visits to get it.
- 59:49Speaker 1: The first time you pulled up. Next time you went
- 59:52Speaker 1: to the damn house and found out it was a
- 59:53Speaker 1: mama's house. Yet all in blue plates leaning up against
- 59:56Speaker 1: the wall on the fireplaces, and had that big wooden
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: and spoon and fox set hanging on the damn wall,
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: that picture the white Jesus, mar Luther King and John F. Kennedy.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: And I noticed that his mom's yard was unkept, and
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: it was trash laying around. I circled that he don't
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: give a damn bout his mama. Trash laying around the
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: driveway and the porch that's where he eats. These were
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: all red flags, and I told him he should do
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: better helping out his mom around out. You know what
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: Judge Lynn told her told me one time on the show,
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: she said women should stop collecting red flags. Yep, women
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: should stop collecting red flags time. I'm gonna let you
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: use that already for love this year, women should stop
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: collecting red flags. I told him he should do better
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: helping his mom out around the house. Then I invite
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: to him to my house to meet my two children.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: I circled this, Why is he meeting your damn kids?
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: What redeeming quality has he exhibited? Where you think it's
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: time for him to meet your damn kids? Now he
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: talks real hood in street. I circled that he stayed
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: at home with his mama. Is mama old? You had
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: to pick him up? He lived with his mama. You
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: went out to dinner anyway, he a convicted felling. You
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: went to his mama's house. His room is filtered. It's
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: translating around the driveway in the porch. I invited him
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: to your house to meet the two kids, and he
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: talked real hood in street. This whole letter is just
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: going to hell. But I thought he would do better
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: when he met my children. He did not, And your
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: kids asked him why was he talking like a rapper?
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: You know why, because your kids know his whole ass
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: should be talking better than one of their damn piers.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: Your kids know that, but you don't. So I circled that.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: He kept commenting on how nice I kept my house.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: Hell yeah, questions wople to break the laws just described
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: in Mama's house. And after the visit, his conversations turned
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: to us making a commitment, a commitment to what he suggested,
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: moving in with me so he could be closer and
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: he could help out round the house. He don't help
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: out round the house. He don't help out round the house.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: He don't help out in his filth ass room. He
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: don't help out with nothing on the poach, He don't
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: help out with nothing with the driveway. Where do he
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: clean up at? So he fitn't help you. Well. I
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: was excited at first because I really liked this man.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: What is it you like? You ain't saying nothing in
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: the letter you like your your whole letter is you
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: just disappointed? You on this man? Then you sound really
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: like him. You like what you must not. You ain't
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: never handled man before, you never had a good man before.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Because if this is what you like, I show what
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: hate to see the one you got rid of, the
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: one you had them two kids. By lady, you need
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: to up your up your game. I really like this man,
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: But then I have thought I was being you naive
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: and he could be using me. Although he had some
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: character flawed character flaw. He old his hell. That ain't
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: a cafter flaw. He ain't got a car. That ain't
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: a cafter flaw. He stayed with his mama. That ain't
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: a character flaw. He's a convicted felon. That ain't a
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: character flaw. His room is filtered, That ain't a character flaw.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: It's chanced on the driveway in the ports. That ain't
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: a charthter flaw. He wants to move in with you
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: so he can help out round the house here. Damn
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: run all right, Steve, run post you're coming on today.

- 1:05:34Speaker 1: all my job laughing, all the laughing I get to
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: do all day long, man telling Joe laughing, that's what
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: keep me young. Good answer, good answer. Stupidity, being able
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: to just be stupid, just just you know, just letting
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: it go. Oh yes, you're strong with that, with that,
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: because you you would think you would want to mature.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: But don't be silly, Carlo. I want this stupid right here.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: I won't when you got it. You got all of that, anybody,
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: that's all you boo? All right, Steve, what keeps you going?
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: Fine off and ignorance in order? Fine off and ignorance.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: When I first met you used to say that I
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: love it. I let it out. I don't have high
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: blood pressure, I don't have stress, dog to do all that.
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: I ain't had no ulcers and all that. Oh we cussing, okay, cool.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: I agree with Junior though, the laughter of it all,
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: I mean, laughter is it? Yeah? You know? But I
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: mean you know, we gotta give different answers, Sirley, we
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: can't all say laughter. So what you're not do is
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: make us think that Junior is the most brilliant three
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: of us. That's not what you well with that question.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: I know he tried. I saw him because he didn't
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: have that answer. First day he won. He was on
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: that round Junior one, that round Steve. Okay, we had it.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: That keeps We'll keep yalling. Yeah. Yeah, and he is
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: the king of that the ladies. Yeah. I mean, like
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: I said, I agree with you. Laughter, playing music, just
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: keeping up with what's going on. That keeps you young. Yeah,
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: being able to being able to wear whatever you want
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: to wear to work and stuff. It's cool. You know
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: you could dress anywhere you want to dress. Fly. You
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: know you don't have to Sure what Tommy you heard,
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: let's say a quarterba six sex don't keeping you Okay,
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: we gotta job. Yeah, we'll do it at the job.
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: I'm just saying, you're listening. It's coffing season, guys. So
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: the question is are you trying to find someone to
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: spend the upcoming cold weather months with? Well, if you
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: don't know what coffing season is, let's explained. See, during
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: the fall and winter months, people who would normally rather
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: be single or promiscuous find themselves desiring to be cuffed
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: or tied down in a serious relationship. Get it. The
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: cold weather and prolonged indoor activities. Uh, they caused singles
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: to become lonely and desperate to be cuffed. So when
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: you guys were single, gotta ask the guys this was
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: this the case for you? And of course, Junior, you
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: are single, so do you will? We'll start with you. Uh.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Do you find you're trying to find love in the
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: fall in winter months? No? No, I ain't coffing. No,
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: if I'm coming out for the relationship, right, we're gonna
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: covering to be together because it's cold. Oh yeah, well
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: then she can't eat racket? What? Yeah? All my women
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: got to eat meat? Why? Why? Oh? Okay, yeah, I
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: mean it might be that app no vegans. What did
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: you say, Steve Junior need heat? So he don't have
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: a Christian Yeah? Mess around you? You too thin? I
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: might ask in the hospital. I need to wrap a
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: fire around me. So okay, So that's what you're going
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: to be looking for a dream. All right, all right,
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: see its to toss up. I don't know who to go.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with you, Steve to me safe. Come on,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: see all right, let's go, nephew. What's the question? The
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: question is? I mean, you're you're when you were single.
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: You're married now. But when you were single, are you
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: looking for someone to cuff up with during the cold
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: winter months? And what about the holidays? Yeah? Well air night,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: air holiday. What Yeah, somebody will keep you warm then
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: from person? Oh not the same person. That ain't no
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: good coffing. When you say we cuff last night, that
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: ain't good. Gotta have somebody you want a different cuff
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: the next night. You know what I'm saying. You don't
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: see that, No, I mean once you cuddle up with
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: one on Monday Tuesday. I want to cuff up with
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: huggy and windy. I you know, wow, I want to
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: feel something different. You know what I'm saying. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: see I was thinking take him last, Steve, so we
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: could go out after him, so wouldn't have to linger.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: Now you probably gonna want to get it, okay when
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: you were single, get ready everyone. When you were single, Steve,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: were you looking for someone to cuff up with? No?
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: I didn't date for coffing. I dated for holly. I
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: wanted somebody to do something to me to make me holly.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: I didn't give a damn about coffin. I won't go
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: home anyway. You just wanted to holler and get out
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: like what like that? You know he liked you know? No, no,
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: not do it again? Sure like like that. No hollering,
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: that's hollering. No no that girl, girl, girl, get cat girl.
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: You I like the girl. You're gonna get a call
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: a car car. That's that's what I dated for. I
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: dated for holland. I didn't kid about no damn coffee.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: I won't stay with you none of that. Single. Yeah,
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: and to be single wise, we staying together. So Junior
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: is the only one that's true when he's single, because
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: Tommy had a different one every other day, and you, Steve,
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: I didn't have a different the day. But I didn't
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: want to stay with you though, Oh you wanted to
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: go to your own house. Well, I'm through, I'm hot,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: so what Okay, I'm hot. See, women like to cuddle,
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: got all that, but yeah, but can we cuddle after
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: I cool down? We got a hot flask. I ain't
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: gonna hot flask. I didn't got all the furnaces and
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: pistons is pumping and never thing. I gotta shut this down.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: Furnace all holler, all right, coming out. More music more
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: trending news on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. We'll be

- 1:14:22Speaker 1: listening to the morning show all right time now? For
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: would you rather? Would you rather take care of your
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: friend's baby or your friend's dog? Give me that dog?
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: Give me that dog? Man, Yeah, I got that dog.
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: I ain't got that. I ain't got the rock that dog.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: I ain't got the burp that dog. Ye and your
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: dog can't tell on me, So give me the dog, dog,
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: because I'm studying your damn dog. I'm gonna let his
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: ass go. Literally, little baby, I beat him, beat it.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: Forgot your baby. You'll be looking for your We both dog.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: At least I can feed the dog, and the dog
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: will do what he got to do. Well, I'm gonna
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: tell you right now, I'm not I'm going to forget
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: your dog. Yeah, but will you will you? Will you
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: at least will you at least feed the dog? Will
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: you at least do that? Oh? Yeah, yeah, I don't
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: abuse animals at all. I'm gonna get to feed that base.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: I don't know. I am okay, dog and you fall
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: in the swimming pool. You need to get dog pedaling.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: They don't know they can pedal. Did they get in there?
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: They don't know they can know it? Did they get
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: in there? We're moving on. Would you rather the painful truth?
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: The painful truth? Or would you rather a comforting lie? God, Yeah,
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna take that, lie be. I'm always for the
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: comforting line. You need. You don't want to know the truth,
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: lie me man, Yeah, a good comforting lie. I appreciate
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: the effort. What do you want to know? All three
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: comedians on this show. We're cool with lying. We're cool
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: with much rather than the truth. Wow, the truth if
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: you can really lie to me and make me feel
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: good about it. Oh, I'm gonna figure something out. Don't
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: worry about that. Wow. But the fact that you tried,
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: see lied, lets me know you tried. You know what?
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: The pain for truth. Let's let's delay that pain as
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: long as post hear it and get it over with.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: All right? All right? Would you rather a dirty kitchen
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: or a dirty bathroom? Oh? God, girl, Now I'll take
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: a dirty kitchen, dirty kitchen, Ye for dirty bathroom because
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: the kitchen, let me know you put your effort in.
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: But that bathroom your ass is nashed, you is nest
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: I'm so funny about bathrooms. Yes, Junior from yeah, all right?
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: Would you rather have massive success by accident or a
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: modest success on purpose? A massive accidental success, massive, massive, lucky? Want?
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: I want abundance? All right? Coming up at forty nine
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we'll have some closing remarks from
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, and it's our last break of the day.
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to show. All right, here
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: we are, last break of the day. It's been a
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: good day as usual. You're alright, Steve, did you because
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: we started the show off talking about attention. Well, you know,
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: it's been one of those days me. I will admit
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: that so far, but it's gonna get better. I always
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: keep my head up, you know, which could lead into
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: these closing remark because I might as well talk about
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: something that I was dealing with. You know, I was
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: in a Jamaica over the weekend, and every morning I
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: have a little meditation that I do with daily inspiration
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: that I read my Bible and a journal that I
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: take notes in. And I started it doing this taking
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: these notes. The first July seventh was my first day
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: doing it, and I have notes for practically every single day.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: I've only missed like three days from taking notes, just three.
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: And so it's something I've learned to do and it
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: starts my day off a really, really well because it
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: gives me a weaponry till god, it gives the evil
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: principalities of the world. You know, there's so much stimulation
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: out here with social media and technology and cyberspace and
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: phone calls and messages and texts that you know, even
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: if you're having a great day of so much stuff
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: out there that can throw you off if you're not
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: if you haven't stabilized yourself spiritually. And Sunday, when I
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: woke up, I was in Jamaica. I was just about
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: to open up my journal and my daily inspiration. But
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: I had left the TV on the night four in
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: the living room. And so I went into the living
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: room and I was about to sit out with my books,
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: and I said, man, let me, let me cut this
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: TV off. And I went over there and I hit it.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: It didn't go off for some reason, and I said, man,
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: what's the deal. And I tried to hit it and
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: didn't go off, and I just hit the channel and
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: I hit the channel one time. Now I'm in Jamaica. Now,
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: I hit the channel one time and up pops Joel Oldstein.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: And so I was instead of me opening up my
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: journal in my daily inspiration, I sat down and cut
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: the volume up. I went, Okay, this must be for me.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: Maybe he wants me to get this. And oh my god,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: oh my goodness, was he correct. Now I can't tell
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: you exactly what he said, so I'm a paraphrase it
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: a bit. He was talking about people who have given
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: up on their dreams. Now that didn't apply to me,
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: but he said, this is for people who've given up
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: on your dreams. This is for people who've been waiting
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: on something for God for a while and it hasn't
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: gotten there yet, and you're starting to feel like maybe
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: it ain't for you all you're thinking about giving up
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: on it. I wasn't quite in that part of it,
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: but I've been a little discouraged about the fact that
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: something I had been wanting for a while had happened.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: A lot of people fall into that bracket. But a
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: lot of people have fallen into the they waited so
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: long they just decided it wasn't for them and they stopped,
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: or they gave up on their dreams and their visions.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: And he was talking about he said, what you don't
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: realize is that when you ask God for something, that
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: God is working on it behind the scenes. He's doing
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: some stuff and orchestrating some stuff, and putting some stuff
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: into play for you that you may very well not
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: even be aware of. But if you give up hope,
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: if you stop looking for it, if you lose the faith,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: you then stop the process. Because God don't give you
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: what you want all the time. He gives you what
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: you believe all the time. See, you don't always get
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: what you want because what you want may not be
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: best for you or something like that. But if you
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: believe God to give you something and he has it
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: for you, he's going to give it to you. But
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: some people just give up hoping for it looking for it.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: He said. If you've gotten at the point in your
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: life where you've given up on your dreams, or you
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: think it ain't coming and you're starting to fade, he said,
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: I want you to do something. He said, I want
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: you to look again. And that caught my attention. He said,
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: I want you to look again. He said, if you
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: look again and you don't see the blessing coming, or
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: you don't see the blessing right there, he said, I
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: want you to look again, he said in it. If
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: you still don't see it, he said, listen to me
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: real close. I want you to look again. And that
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: was the thing that I needed to hear yesterday, because sometimes, y'all,
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: when you ask God for something that it don't come
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: in the time frame that you want it to come,
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: you got to stay patient, you got to stay watchful,
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: and you got to do like Joel Olstein, said, you
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: got to look again. And if you look over there
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: and you still don't see it, stay patient, but look again,
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: and man on, man on, man, I can't tell you
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: how I needed that yesterday. I can't tell you how
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: I need it today. I can't tell you how often
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: I need that because so many times, man, so many
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: things go counter to the way you wanted to go
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: or what you thought it was gonna be, that you
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: end up and you start feeling just a little bit discourage.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: Sometimes you just flat out I can't take it no more,
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: and I quit. But I very rarely get that way,
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: but I do get I'm human, you know, so I
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: get moments when I'm man, this is exhausting because what
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: I'm attempting to do is exhausting. What you're attempting to
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: do or become, or to point you're trying to get to,
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: it's exhausting. But if you exhausted and you don't feel
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: like it's happening fast enough, do like Joel Oldstein said,
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: y'all look again, just look again. He's probably doing something
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: on your behalf that you're not aware of. Those are
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: my closing remarks that really helped me. So you know
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: what I'm doing right now. I'm looking at it. I'm
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: looking again. Y'all have a great weekend. For all Steve
