- 0:09Speaker 1: a suit on, looking back to back down, giving them
- 0:13Speaker 1: more like American buck things. And it's not me true
- 0:20Speaker 1: good at Steve Hard listening to move together for ste
- 0:30Speaker 1: Please by, I don't join join me. You're doing me.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta gotta turning. You gotta turn to turn them out, turning,
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn them out. Then turn the water the water.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your fad uh huh, I show with
- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come
- 2:07Speaker 1: on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:12Speaker 1: a radio show, yoh man. God is in the blessing
- 2:16Speaker 1: business all day every day. God got hundreds of millions
- 2:21Speaker 1: of blessings that he passes out every day. All I
- 2:25Speaker 1: want to do is be the recipient that I'm the
- 2:30Speaker 1: recipient of what he has for me. That's all I want.
- 2:35Speaker 1: I just want God's favor, and I go. I want
- 2:38Speaker 1: God's blessings. You know, of course I need his mercy
- 2:43Speaker 1: and his grace, but I just want his blessings and
- 2:48Speaker 1: his favor. I want. I want that in my life
- 2:51Speaker 1: because it does things for me that I'm absolutely incapable
- 2:55Speaker 1: of doing for myself. And I've been a recipient of
- 2:58Speaker 1: many of those, and you can be the recipient of
- 3:01Speaker 1: them too. You already are, really, really, you already are.
- 3:06Speaker 1: If you're getting up every morning, that's a blessed. If
- 3:10Speaker 1: you're getting one day closer to anything you're trying to accomplish,
- 3:14Speaker 1: that's a blessing. But now let me talk to you
- 3:17Speaker 1: about this part right here, folks, because this is the
- 3:19Speaker 1: part that messes people up a great deal. What happens
- 3:23Speaker 1: when you get off track? What is that? What does
- 3:27Speaker 1: that mean? When you get off track? See, I've been
- 3:33Speaker 1: off track. I can't tell you how many times, and
- 3:36Speaker 1: it happens in so many aspects of your life. But
- 3:40Speaker 1: what is it that makes getting off track so debilitating
- 3:44Speaker 1: to some people? You know, there are some people who
- 3:47Speaker 1: want stay off track. They off course, they off the dream,
- 3:51Speaker 1: they own to something else. And you cannot allow the
- 3:54Speaker 1: fact that you've gotten off track to stop. You can't
- 4:01Speaker 1: tell you something. Everybody gets off tracked. That are people
- 4:07Speaker 1: who are living their life's dreams in spite of getting
- 4:12Speaker 1: off track. See what happens when you get off track?
- 4:16Speaker 1: Here's the simple thing to do. The simple thing is
- 4:19Speaker 1: just to get back on track. Now that's that's But
- 4:21Speaker 1: that's easier said than done, ain't it, Steve. Yeah, Because, see, people,
- 4:26Speaker 1: when you get off track, here's some of the things
- 4:28Speaker 1: that happen. See you get the Here come tony sayers,
- 4:33Speaker 1: some of them from the outside, some of them internally.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Here's what gets said when you get off track. See,
- 4:40Speaker 1: I told you, I told you. You know you. You
- 4:46Speaker 1: start hearing that it's not for you. Okay, this is
- 4:53Speaker 1: all just because you got off track. It's not for you. Okay,
- 4:58Speaker 1: here's another one. It ain't and to be you can
- 5:02Speaker 1: hear it all you can said. Well, I guess it's
- 5:05Speaker 1: just not meant to be. But let me ask you
- 5:09Speaker 1: a question, though, who made the rule that when you
- 5:14Speaker 1: get off track you can't get back on? Who made
- 5:18Speaker 1: that rule? Where has that written that once you get
- 5:22Speaker 1: off track you can't get back on? See, because I'm
- 5:26Speaker 1: gonna tell you something, folks, there's no such rule. As
- 5:30Speaker 1: a matter of fact, it's quite the opposite. See, everybody,
- 5:36Speaker 1: in pursuit of a dream, a goal and aspiration or
- 5:40Speaker 1: a mission, it's going to get off track. Sometimes you're
- 5:45Speaker 1: going to get derailed. They are going to be days
- 5:48Speaker 1: where you're not going to get it right. That are
- 5:50Speaker 1: going to be days where you feel like giving up.
- 5:53Speaker 1: There's going to be days when you're just gonna flat
- 5:55Speaker 1: out get it wrong. That's the journey. But let me
- 5:59Speaker 1: tell you something. Every successful person that I know, ever met,
- 6:02Speaker 1: talked to, set out, and chopped it up with, have
- 6:05Speaker 1: shared one thing in common. We all get off track.
- 6:10Speaker 1: We all get it wrong along the way. I don't
- 6:13Speaker 1: care who the person is. The president got it wrong
- 6:16Speaker 1: along the way. Your pastor got it wrong along the way. Qui, director,
- 6:23Speaker 1: QUI got it wrong along the way. The principle at
- 6:26Speaker 1: your school got it wrong. Along the way. The valor
- 6:29Speaker 1: victoria of your class got it wrong. Along the way.
- 6:34Speaker 1: The star of the team got it wrong. Along the way.
- 6:39Speaker 1: They've all been off track. Your boss down at your job,
- 6:44Speaker 1: he got it wrong along the way. Your immediate supervisor
- 6:48Speaker 1: got it wrong along the way. Everybody I know that
- 6:53Speaker 1: has any measure of success in every in every level
- 6:56Speaker 1: that you call success, however you want to label it,
- 7:00Speaker 1: has gotten off track. As a matter of fact, it's impossible.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Listen to me, it is impossible not to get off
- 7:11Speaker 1: track in pursuit of your dreams, goals, visions, aspirations. It
- 7:17Speaker 1: is impossible. Don't you let nobody tell you that they
- 7:22Speaker 1: got through life unscathed, that they made it because they
- 7:26Speaker 1: was just so determined. And I would let nothing turn
- 7:29Speaker 1: me back. Yeah, you might not have let nothing turn
- 7:32Speaker 1: you back because you hear all but you thought about it. Oh,
- 7:37Speaker 1: you thought about it on days when you was off track.
- 7:39Speaker 1: But see, people don't like to tell the whole story.
- 7:42Speaker 1: They just want you to think as much as you
- 7:44Speaker 1: can about them. So when they tell you that story,
- 7:47Speaker 1: they leave out the stuff alone, the way it was
- 7:51Speaker 1: just hard work and determination that got me here. No
- 7:54Speaker 1: it wasn't, No, it wasn't. It was the fact that
- 7:57Speaker 1: you got off track and the grace and mercy of
- 8:00Speaker 1: God allowed you to get back on. His forgiveness allowed
- 8:04Speaker 1: you to get back on because you would not believe
- 8:06Speaker 1: what some of the people have done. So when you
- 8:09Speaker 1: get off track, don't allow the naysayers outside and the
- 8:14Speaker 1: big naysayer inside, because let me tell you something, the
- 8:17Speaker 1: biggest naysayer of them all comes from inside. See, it
- 8:22Speaker 1: don't matter what other people say out there. It takes
- 8:24Speaker 1: some time for you to learn this. And I understand
- 8:26Speaker 1: because it took me some time to learn it. See,
- 8:28Speaker 1: I have a lot of naysayers out there, but I
- 8:32Speaker 1: ain't operating for them, operating function for the ones that
- 8:36Speaker 1: love me, for the ones that get me, for the
- 8:38Speaker 1: ones that understand what I'm really trying to do. And
- 8:42Speaker 1: so don't you be the one that doesn't allow yourself
- 8:48Speaker 1: to get back on track when you get off track, because,
- 8:51Speaker 1: like I said, who made the rule up that you
- 8:53Speaker 1: can't get back on track? There's no such rule out there.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Stop stopping yourself from getting it right. So what you
- 9:04Speaker 1: started to diet at the beginning of the year, and
- 9:06Speaker 1: you already off, start another one, start over, try it again,
- 9:13Speaker 1: don't ever stop trying. If you stop trying, you can't
- 9:16Speaker 1: make it. But if you never give up the effort,
- 9:19Speaker 1: if you never give up and say it's over, it
- 9:22Speaker 1: ain't over. You heard just saying it ain't over to
- 9:24Speaker 1: the fat ladies, saying I never invite her, she's not invited.
- 9:32Speaker 1: It ain't over to the fat ladies, saying I don't
- 9:34Speaker 1: know where the fat ladies stay. I am not sent
- 9:37Speaker 1: her an invitation to none of my events. She's not
- 9:40Speaker 1: welcome here. She didn't ask me a couple of times.
- 9:44Speaker 1: How come I never get invited because you're gonna start
- 9:47Speaker 1: saying it and I ain't got time for that. All right,
- 9:52Speaker 1: stop inviting the fat lady to all your events. Thank you,
- 9:56Speaker 1: you're listening. Ladies and gentlemen, man, have your undivided attention again.
- 10:08Speaker 1: We are still here in can cool men hicot because
- 10:14Speaker 1: we can't get out. Yeah we can't. They got our passport.
- 10:19Speaker 1: You can't get out. And I'll tell you some stories
- 10:21Speaker 1: that happened to meet us. Ladies and gentlemen. We are
- 10:24Speaker 1: here off the heels of a fabulous event salmon soul
- 10:29Speaker 1: and oh my goodness, what a good time it was.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen. Steve Harvey Morning Show man, have your
- 10:34Speaker 1: undivided attention please. I'm planning on being completely ignorant today.
- 10:38Speaker 1: I have taken off the thinking cap, I have removed
- 10:41Speaker 1: the filter, and I have decided that I'm gonna say
- 10:44Speaker 1: several ignant as statements today that if you want to
- 10:49Speaker 1: hear one before you get to your little funky job
- 10:51Speaker 1: that you don't care for and your co workers that
- 10:54Speaker 1: you really really got this thing for, stay tuned, because
- 10:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna say a couple of ignorant things for you
- 10:59Speaker 1: going in this morning Steve Harvey Morning to show Charlet Strawberry. Hey,
- 11:03Speaker 1: good morning. I didn't know we were stuck here, but
- 11:05Speaker 1: it's okay, So good junior, y'all. I don't give a da.
- 11:08Speaker 1: We never leave. Yeah, that's all we got here. Tommy
- 11:13Speaker 1: ain't here. Is call us birthday? So call us off
- 11:15Speaker 1: today celebrating her birthday, Happy birthday, to call it for real.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Tommy's not here. Just came up a little short, and
- 11:24Speaker 1: you're gonna make that stay like that? What does that mean?
- 11:29Speaker 1: I don't know you. It just came up a blue show,
- 11:32Speaker 1: you know, shout people always got an excuse. Yeah, by
- 11:36Speaker 1: why they couldn't. I couldn't catch the flight. They didn't
- 11:41Speaker 1: have enough steps. You know. I was at the counter.
- 11:45Speaker 1: They ain't see me. You know all this stuff that
- 11:49Speaker 1: shot people use with name somewhere. They told me I
- 11:54Speaker 1: ain't looked like my past. Poor okay, you know how
- 11:59Speaker 1: you the same side as is your passpole pictures. Yeah,
- 12:04Speaker 1: so Tommy couldn't make it the day, y'all, So we
- 12:07Speaker 1: are here. Jay's off, jas thank you? Can we just
- 12:13Speaker 1: say seriously thank you? A man saying? Is so so
- 12:18Speaker 1: good this year? Yeah? It was so good. I really
- 12:21Speaker 1: hate that those of you who counsel counsel understood though
- 12:26Speaker 1: under a man understood. You know. The incident at the
- 12:29Speaker 1: dr was beyond anybody's control, you know. But what you
- 12:32Speaker 1: cannot do is tell black people, come on, they dining
- 12:35Speaker 1: over there, let's go see see if you survive. Okay,
- 12:40Speaker 1: they're not fitting to do that. No, not our people.
- 12:44Speaker 1: But this experience right here has been phenomenal. People. People
- 12:49Speaker 1: that listen to our show, Steve are some amazing people
- 12:53Speaker 1: and some of the coolest. I mean, these are well
- 12:55Speaker 1: off people. Yeah, man, nobody was drunk. Nobody was on.
- 13:00Speaker 1: It's all you can eat, all you can drink. But
- 13:01Speaker 1: people don't come go out the country get drunk or
- 13:03Speaker 1: we grown. We know. Ye. Mexican prison different. I've never
- 13:11Speaker 1: been there, but all I know is it's different because
- 13:13Speaker 1: you can't be in the prison and you can't talk spending.
- 13:16Speaker 1: That's right, it's a whole he all right, listen, I
- 13:24Speaker 1: did want to say something and we can talk about
- 13:25Speaker 1: this later as well. The Mexican people here, man, they
- 13:30Speaker 1: are some of the most kind many yore so cool.
- 13:35Speaker 1: All right, coming up at thirty two after the hour
- 13:37Speaker 1: weekend review, we're gonna say what a weekend and we'll
- 13:40Speaker 1: continue this right after this. You're listening to show all
- 13:46Speaker 1: right time Now for weekend review, we got to talk
- 13:48Speaker 1: about our sand and Cel experience sand and Cel Festival. Steve,
- 13:52Speaker 1: you have a story, but let's let Junior go first,
- 13:54Speaker 1: because just like we said, Junior, that's the date. Every
- 13:58Speaker 1: night I have every Neil had chair. But I will
- 14:02Speaker 1: say this that I did not know un that I
- 14:04Speaker 1: was disattracted to the retired community. Boy, I mean something
- 14:10Speaker 1: to them. I've never had this minute. Old women stroke
- 14:14Speaker 1: my choulder, Yeah, stroke my chick. Seventy two. I mean
- 14:19Speaker 1: like a lot of numbers, like picks seventy two. Now,
- 14:22Speaker 1: wait a minute. The seventy two year old woman, she
- 14:24Speaker 1: was at a meet and greed yesterday. She was gorgeous, gorgeous. No,
- 14:28Speaker 1: this chick was bad, Yes she was. This chick was bad.
- 14:32Speaker 1: If she would have told you she was seventy, you
- 14:34Speaker 1: would have better you. This woman was amazingly fit, in shape. Yes,
- 14:41Speaker 1: a little white. But I went to huh I didn't.
- 14:49Speaker 1: I came in, asked great grandpapa. That's what I started.
- 14:54Speaker 1: I started building no family. No, you ain't got no kids.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Now you have grandkids. Grandkids. Boy, but she was great. Man,
- 15:08Speaker 1: she was wonderful. Man. I mean, but you know what
- 15:10Speaker 1: the entire weekend the people, man, I hate they missed this. Yeah, man,
- 15:14Speaker 1: I really do. I understand the cancelations. Uh it was
- 15:18Speaker 1: and it was quite a few. But man, uh it
- 15:21Speaker 1: also was a blessing because so many people cancel that
- 15:26Speaker 1: have allowed me to do something for people who never
- 15:30Speaker 1: get anything done. We opened up. I had I invited
- 15:35Speaker 1: free since we had so many rooms available. I had
- 15:38Speaker 1: people who work for nonprofit foundation who helped children, orphanages,
- 15:43Speaker 1: the homeless, they feed the hungry. I invited all of
- 15:47Speaker 1: them down and gave them a free weekend. We invited
- 15:50Speaker 1: for people who were terminally ill, who just wanted a vacation,
- 15:55Speaker 1: and we invited them. We had breast cancer survivors that
- 15:59Speaker 1: we invited. We had all five mothers of the movement.
- 16:03Speaker 1: We had treyvon Martin's mother, Michael Brown's mother, Eric Gardiner's mother.
- 16:10Speaker 1: We had the twin sister to Tiffany, Tiffany cru Crutcher,
- 16:15Speaker 1: doctor Tiffany. You know, you know, we had other women
- 16:19Speaker 1: down here who've lost children in the movement to police violence.
- 16:23Speaker 1: We was here Benjamin Crumb We invited a lot of
- 16:28Speaker 1: people from our community who have done stuff. So I
- 16:30Speaker 1: was able to turn the lemons into lemonade. And that
- 16:34Speaker 1: was really a blessing. Man. And so it turned out
- 16:36Speaker 1: all those cancelations, as horrific as it was financially, it
- 16:41Speaker 1: turned out to be a wonderful blessing. And man, we
- 16:43Speaker 1: filled up all those cancel rooms, and man, we had
- 16:47Speaker 1: bomb time, we had a bomb. You wasn't even man,
- 16:49Speaker 1: He wasn't even you wasn't even man. You were smiling
- 16:53Speaker 1: the whole time because you know why, Junior I was.
- 16:55Speaker 1: I was because Gog gonna give me some more money. Yeah,
- 17:00Speaker 1: because I asked for in his name and I honor him.
- 17:03Speaker 1: He gonna give me more money. You can't lose nothing
- 17:06Speaker 1: with God. When you do the right thing, you can't lose. Now.
- 17:09Speaker 1: I was told this week at the golf course, all right,
- 17:13Speaker 1: let's hear this. Okay, you know this now, what I
- 17:16Speaker 1: will not do is play golf down here again. That
- 17:19Speaker 1: I won't because it's just too hard of a check
- 17:22Speaker 1: in process. I checked in at the golf what happened.
- 17:26Speaker 1: I've went to see people in prison and got in dog.
- 17:30Speaker 1: I've been on visitation the list, I mean strip search,
- 17:34Speaker 1: takedown being spread cough. I've done all this to go
- 17:42Speaker 1: see certain friends of mine, you know. But man, check
- 17:46Speaker 1: it in to play golf. The first day took us
- 17:47Speaker 1: thirty minutes. The second day we cut it down to
- 17:50Speaker 1: twenty minutes. Okay, we'll stop right there. Do they know
- 17:52Speaker 1: who you were because your pictures everywhere? Well, but this
- 17:54Speaker 1: one dude, Man, the last day where we had a
- 17:57Speaker 1: little tournament, I went to check in minutes and I
- 18:00Speaker 1: was said, this time, I'm gonna have credit card, I'm
- 18:02Speaker 1: gonna have money. I'm gonna have everything. So you can't
- 18:04Speaker 1: say nothing to me. I ain't can't about the room credits.
- 18:07Speaker 1: So I get up there. Yeah, he told me. He
- 18:10Speaker 1: looked at me and says, you don't got no money.
- 18:14Speaker 1: I say, Pardner, excuse me. I don't have no what. No,
- 18:19Speaker 1: I don't have no passport. I don't have a handle
- 18:22Speaker 1: on my Spanish. I don't know my way back to
- 18:25Speaker 1: the resort. You don't have your room. Yeah, I don't
- 18:28Speaker 1: have no car. Yeah, but what did you say? I
- 18:31Speaker 1: don't have none else? He said, you don't got no money.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Let me walk away from the death for a minute,
- 18:37Speaker 1: because there's a lot of things I ain't got. I
- 18:39Speaker 1: ain't got no more. Hell, I got a lot of
- 18:41Speaker 1: stuff right here. Yeah, I ain't got no more patience.
- 18:44Speaker 1: I'm out a lot of stuff, partner, But you can't
- 18:47Speaker 1: tell me I ain't got no money. Play no damn golf.
- 18:51Speaker 1: I was some managers, dude, And then he looked at
- 18:54Speaker 1: my room. Charge I said, hey, man, I tell you what,
- 18:55Speaker 1: just charge it to my room. You don't got no money,
- 19:00Speaker 1: I said, bought this dude right here. Don't understand who
- 19:02Speaker 1: were investing with. Man, You're not gonna have no money.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Now we're still here and someone is having something and
- 19:11Speaker 1: where we're broadcasting from and the upstairs from the auto
- 19:14Speaker 1: tourn obviously somebody's getting ready for a beach party or
- 19:17Speaker 1: something later on. Done. Yeah, we're done, but we're still
- 19:20Speaker 1: here doing the race. So if you hear some noise
- 19:22Speaker 1: in the background, it's somebody downstairs. And then nothing we
- 19:25Speaker 1: can do about this. Spare with us. Yeah, finish the story.
- 19:30Speaker 1: You don't got no money? Part story broke Steve. So
- 19:36Speaker 1: I walk away and my boy said, hey, man, just
- 19:39Speaker 1: let me talk to him. So I come back over
- 19:42Speaker 1: that and I said, sir, just we need to go
- 19:46Speaker 1: and play golf. He said. He said, who are you, sir?
- 19:50Speaker 1: I said, I turned around. Look at that sign, Look
- 19:55Speaker 1: at your monitors. This is Steve Harvey golf tournament. I'm
- 19:59Speaker 1: Steve of it. Oh okay, let me see. And then
- 20:04Speaker 1: he looked right back at me and said, you don't
- 20:07Speaker 1: got no money. He was taunting you at that right here.
- 20:12Speaker 1: I just walked off. I said, I'm going to the
- 20:14Speaker 1: golf course. Y'all figured out where it was. Boom Boom
- 20:17Speaker 1: was over there talking, calling him different types of names.
- 20:22Speaker 1: The blink of the blank. You talking about dog got
- 20:27Speaker 1: morning though. That's the one thing he does. But sometime
- 20:31Speaker 1: this moment, you've got to tell the people about the
- 20:33Speaker 1: queueing a session. Man, We'll do it. Coming up. Also
- 20:36Speaker 1: coming up, Reverend Motown in the building. Also guests Deacon

- 21:52Speaker 1: some way as short. We have a guest deacon which
- 21:55Speaker 1: is against my will, young deacon Jews with church complaint.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Come on, junior, thank you pastor. Uh listen. We are
- 22:05Speaker 1: on the jp jj U and church with cheap weekend
- 22:10Speaker 1: hen cam Koon. A lot of things went wrong this
- 22:13Speaker 1: weekenning members are high up, said Brother Levins. One of
- 22:17Speaker 1: our darker members is threatened to suit the church because
- 22:21Speaker 1: the locals harpooned him, mistook him for a killer whale
- 22:25Speaker 1: close to shore. And he says it's your fault, pastor,
- 22:29Speaker 1: because you told him to get in. Now he's saying
- 22:33Speaker 1: that the church should pay for his medical expenses now
- 22:35Speaker 1: that what they harpooned him for killer wales. I remember
- 22:42Speaker 1: Brother Levins coming to me at the resort and I
- 22:47Speaker 1: did tell him to get in the water. What got
- 22:51Speaker 1: him harpoon was the fact that he was wet. That shiny,
- 22:58Speaker 1: dark skid scared everybody and they thought it was Awka.
- 23:03Speaker 1: He'll kill a will because he had a white, white
- 23:06Speaker 1: piece bathing ship and he flipped over on his back
- 23:12Speaker 1: and they thought it was movie dick man. And so
- 23:16Speaker 1: he was Awka on one side and movie dick on
- 23:20Speaker 1: the other side, and that what got him harpoon. We
- 23:23Speaker 1: will not be covering medical exp so we will pray
- 23:26Speaker 1: for him though, right, yeah, we you know what he
- 23:30Speaker 1: should have woke color were all white one piece as
- 23:35Speaker 1: dark as he was here, I thought he was shammoom
- 23:41Speaker 1: damn all right, past we are not covering medical expenses.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Also that we hen did not go well in the past.
- 23:52Speaker 1: We don't know why you did this, but this is
- 23:54Speaker 1: what you did. The jp JJ swimsuit competition ended with
- 23:59Speaker 1: no winners. The contestants wanted to know why Pastor did
- 24:04Speaker 1: not pick a winner because they all showed up past them.
- 24:08Speaker 1: But the women that we wanted to have in the
- 24:11Speaker 1: swimsuit contest cancel due to several threats from the ones
- 24:19Speaker 1: that did enter. But this shiel it wasn't the full
- 24:24Speaker 1: figure system. It was the fullest figure sisters in it,
- 24:29Speaker 1: the fullest and right fold of swimsuit competition. It was
- 24:34Speaker 1: delayed so they all went to the buffet. By the
- 24:39Speaker 1: time they got them swimsuits, only y that was couple
- 24:43Speaker 1: level would look nicked. So did you just wouldn't go
- 24:48Speaker 1: pick no winner? After that couple of them standing in
- 24:51Speaker 1: front of look naked all I'm saying, I'm pretty sure
- 24:55Speaker 1: that was a bottom somewhere under that, but we didn't
- 24:58Speaker 1: see it and do the nudity the it was down
- 25:01Speaker 1: and we decided to not the pickle with them. So
- 25:06Speaker 1: the next year the full figure sisters are welcome, but
- 25:10Speaker 1: the fullest all of them. They was all sister to
- 25:13Speaker 1: Jamison sisters, all eight them, the only one in the competition.
- 25:18Speaker 1: The next complaint I sure will Uh. This is one
- 25:26Speaker 1: of the biggest disassles we've had over the weekend up
- 25:28Speaker 1: the J p j J Morning Breakfast boat wide capsized. Uh.
- 25:35Speaker 1: There are are members that we can't find. We don't
- 25:37Speaker 1: know if they made it back or not. But the
- 25:39Speaker 1: problem everybody had, well, they saw pass to leave on
- 25:42Speaker 1: the speed boat. Yet he looked him in the eye
- 25:45Speaker 1: and passed by everybody, and he just saved himself. As
- 25:48Speaker 1: it seened. We just wanted no passing. Did you know
- 25:51Speaker 1: you left everybody owned that boat right when you are
- 25:55Speaker 1: the shepherd of the flock. Huh, why would you die
- 26:01Speaker 1: with flock who's gonna be shipped wherever whist foth their goal?
- 26:15Speaker 1: There I go. Also, I took that to me, time
- 26:20Speaker 1: for me to go. But you looked them in their
- 26:23Speaker 1: eyes as you're sending a sincere prayer. I looked dead,
- 26:33Speaker 1: and God bless you and may he keep you. Now.
- 26:39Speaker 1: If God didn't want you here no more, you ain't
- 26:41Speaker 1: on me. That's that's all. To let die will be done,
- 26:48Speaker 1: said amen. His another complaint path. The members of the
- 26:56Speaker 1: j p JJ have concluded him that's the go for
- 26:59Speaker 1: Mexican cod baptismal. It was a complete disaster. A few
- 27:03Speaker 1: members felt as if you held them under longer than
- 27:07Speaker 1: you did other and they won't refunds. Oh, it wasn't
- 27:11Speaker 1: that I held them under. A few of them slipped
- 27:15Speaker 1: on my hands. I went back and they slipped out
- 27:18Speaker 1: of my hands and they fell to the bottom when
- 27:21Speaker 1: you got ready to When I tried to raise them
- 27:24Speaker 1: back up, I didn't had a stripp Oh okay, some
- 27:28Speaker 1: of them was brick. Did you find that? Have we
- 27:30Speaker 1: found them? We haven't found them. I stepped on one
- 27:33Speaker 1: of them to grab my legs, but I didn't know
- 27:36Speaker 1: what it was. I thought it was a shock or something.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Believing the church. I stepped on one of them. I
- 27:42Speaker 1: think that only stomach that pushed out and they took
- 27:45Speaker 1: a deep breath of the Gulf of Mexico baptisms. Interesting
- 27:53Speaker 1: it was for the interest. Okay, pass, I think we
- 27:56Speaker 1: got time with one more complaint. This is gonna be
- 27:58Speaker 1: a real problem. I don't know why we would deal
- 27:59Speaker 1: with it. But Brother Cornell told Brother Wright that he
- 28:02Speaker 1: would not be going to Kim Koo. But however, Brother
- 28:05Speaker 1: Rice saw Brother Cornell on Instagram with Brother Cornell's wife.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Now what we're gonna do by this? Oh? Now this
- 28:13Speaker 1: is serious? Yeah, very serious? Pastor Uh about time, Brother Rice.
- 28:22Speaker 1: Now we're gonna have to let Chip fall with it. Mate,
- 28:25Speaker 1: do unto others? Is you would have had him doing
- 28:28Speaker 1: to you? Now? I'm assuming brother Brother Cornell and Gus
- 28:33Speaker 1: must have been what he wanted. That's all you could say. Really,
- 28:37Speaker 1: But I saw him together down at the pool party
- 28:40Speaker 1: in the phone. What it was in the phone pool,
- 28:44Speaker 1: Pater trying to hide him. Everybody to see y'all all right,
- 28:49Speaker 1: and I think that will conclude. Church complaints coming up
- 28:52Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. Entertainment and national news
- 28:55Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to Steve Morning Show, all right.
- 29:02Speaker 1: So in today's trending entertainment news from our homestation w
- 29:05Speaker 1: h U r F M N DC. Kanye took his
- 29:09Speaker 1: Sunday service on the road again. This time he landed
- 29:12Speaker 1: at Howard University in Washington, DC. Kanye was there. That
- 29:17Speaker 1: was nice. Kim Kardashian along with the kids North and Saint,
- 29:21Speaker 1: two of the four kids. They showed up at the
- 29:24Speaker 1: historically African American college that was on Saturday for an
- 29:27Speaker 1: eight am show, and it did not disappoint. Kanye never
- 29:31Speaker 1: does a show that disappoints. The university did not announce
- 29:36Speaker 1: Kanye's appearance until hours before the event, but that was
- 29:39Speaker 1: enough time for students and others to swarm. I mean
- 29:42Speaker 1: they packed the house to see Kanye. I saw Terence
- 29:45Speaker 1: Jay on the Graham rocking out on stage to it.
- 29:48Speaker 1: There was criticism of Kanye's appearance at Howard, presumably for
- 29:52Speaker 1: Kanye's support of President Trump. Greg Carr, the chairman of
- 29:56Speaker 1: Howard's Department of Afro American Studies, wrote, if Kanye West
- 30:01Speaker 1: is indeed at Howard you this morning, send him to
- 30:04Speaker 1: the third floor of the Founder's library. After he's done,
- 30:07Speaker 1: I have some books for him. What you think about that, Steve,
- 30:11Speaker 1: I mean, I can understand what they're saying, but let's
- 30:15Speaker 1: not miss the point that he bought church service. Um.
- 30:20Speaker 1: You know you you have every right to disagree with
- 30:22Speaker 1: his political views, you really do. But his love of
- 30:26Speaker 1: God for everybody, and it's he's and he's trying to
- 30:31Speaker 1: do some things right. You know, people, people don't have
- 30:34Speaker 1: to agree with you politically to still have the ability
- 30:37Speaker 1: to do something right. I'm not gonna dog out Kanye
- 30:41Speaker 1: because he's trying to do the church services nationwide and
- 30:45Speaker 1: bring awareness to God's presence. That's the part I look at. No,
- 30:49Speaker 1: I have no problem with what the man said. I mean,
- 30:54Speaker 1: it might not hurt to read, that might not, but
- 30:58Speaker 1: I don't want that to get in the way of
- 31:00Speaker 1: the message he tries to say to the masters of people.
- 31:03Speaker 1: You know, because I disagree with what he said about Trump,
- 31:07Speaker 1: which I do too, but I think what he's doing
- 31:09Speaker 1: at Howard bringing church service down as far bigger than
- 31:12Speaker 1: He's only one vote. Let's let's just be real. Kanye
- 31:15Speaker 1: West gets one vote, just like you get you get
- 31:18Speaker 1: one vote. All these people are supporting Trump. Yea day,
- 31:22Speaker 1: one vote if we get out, do I. One vote
- 31:24Speaker 1: is more of us than them, right and you you're right,
- 31:27Speaker 1: you can have a different political view. There are husbands
- 31:29Speaker 1: and wives for a Republican and yah, I mean that's
- 31:40Speaker 1: gonna break I Madge, me, no, no, Now, I'm telling no. Now,
- 31:52Speaker 1: me and Marge can't have that. One of us gonna
- 31:55Speaker 1: get on the other one side. Yeah, I mean, but
- 31:58Speaker 1: plenty of households have that though, you know. I mean
- 32:00Speaker 1: it's a pre country. Meanwhile, back here in Cancoon, Mexico,
- 32:04Speaker 1: there's so many trending viral videos of us partying all around.
- 32:08Speaker 1: I mean, we've been having some fun. The Splash Foam
- 32:11Speaker 1: party was so good. That was good. Last night, Casino
- 32:15Speaker 1: night was so good, or the night before, I should say,
- 32:17Speaker 1: Anthony Hamilton, unbelievable, genuine, we've been having some wonderful time
- 32:21Speaker 1: in your golf situation. Well, other than check in, it's great.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Other than check in, was great, But I mean I've
- 32:27Speaker 1: had a ball in everything. The one thing I haven't
- 32:30Speaker 1: done though, I'm kind of disappointed. I have not seen
- 32:33Speaker 1: one crocodile. You know what. We went out looking for
- 32:36Speaker 1: him today. I want a crocodile. Is wanting people go
- 32:40Speaker 1: back today room at two three in the morning and
- 32:42Speaker 1: they think of Juana is crocodile. They try to carry
- 32:45Speaker 1: the wife. They running into trees, and I've been getting
- 32:48Speaker 1: myself black night in wildlife. Oh no, I wish I
- 32:53Speaker 1: had the camel. But it happened so quick though, yes, yes,
- 33:00Speaker 1: what happened. That's not all right. We'll get back to
- 33:06Speaker 1: some more highlights of sand and Soul fund right now.
- 33:10Speaker 1: It it's time Steve for today's news headlines, and it's
- 33:13Speaker 1: Columbus Day, ladies and gentlemen. Miss Anne Trup, thank you
- 33:17Speaker 1: very much, guys. Also Indigenous People's Day. President Trump is
- 33:20Speaker 1: ordering US troops to withdraw from northern Syria to avoid
- 33:23Speaker 1: getting caught on the fighting between the Turks and the
- 33:26Speaker 1: Syrian Courage. Critical people, the politicians, many of them critical
- 33:30Speaker 1: of that move on both sides of the all say
- 33:32Speaker 1: things are just getting worse and worse for the Courage,
- 33:34Speaker 1: who were our allies. It's happened again, and in Texas again.
- 33:39Speaker 1: This time a white cop in Fort Worth did an
- 33:41Speaker 1: Amber guy go on a young black woman, killing her
- 33:43Speaker 1: in her own house. Twenty eight year old college student
- 33:46Speaker 1: named Alta Tiana Jefferson shot and killed after a neighbor
- 33:49Speaker 1: called a non emergency number to ask for a wellness
- 33:52Speaker 1: check for her elderly aunt, just a wellness check. Alta
- 33:55Speaker 1: Tiana Jefferson was a biology major Xavier University. Body camp
- 34:00Speaker 1: shows who killed her walking around the homes permitted of perimeter,
- 34:04Speaker 1: peering through a window, raising a gun flashlight, saying put
- 34:06Speaker 1: your hands up, showing me your hands, and shooting into
- 34:09Speaker 1: the bedroom, all in less than four seconds. Now, the
- 34:12Speaker 1: neighbor who made the non emergency call feels really bad guilty,
- 34:15Speaker 1: saying quote, if I had never died the police department,
- 34:17Speaker 1: she'd still be alive. The officer who killed her has
- 34:20Speaker 1: been placed on administrative leave pending results of investigation. Meanwhile,
- 34:24Speaker 1: the NAACP's Legal Defense and Educational Fund has joined the
- 34:27Speaker 1: community leaders and calling for an independent investigation into the
- 34:30Speaker 1: brutal murder of Amber Geiger. Trial witness Joshua Brown and
- 34:35Speaker 1: the Dallas Police Department. The attorney representing Joshua Brown says
- 34:39Speaker 1: that he had Brown his client had expressed his concern
- 34:42Speaker 1: to prosecutors about testifying in the Amber case in the
- 34:46Speaker 1: first place, that he had moved to California and only
- 34:49Speaker 1: returned to testify after prosecutors threatened to issue a warrant
- 34:53Speaker 1: for his arrest. Pressure's mounting in Florida to get the
- 34:56Speaker 1: white judge off the bench who sends the young black
- 34:59Speaker 1: man to jail for over sleeping his first day on
- 35:01Speaker 1: a jury instead of giving him the more usual sentence
- 35:03Speaker 1: of a fine. Circa Judge John Kastrnakis is under fired
- 35:07Speaker 1: by community activists as well as some local politicals like
- 35:10Speaker 1: Democratic State Senator Bobby Powell, who want to see Kastrunakis
- 35:13Speaker 1: off the sentencing court, along with some new state legislation
- 35:17Speaker 1: penalizing judges for handing down overly punitive and perhaps racist sentencing.
- 35:21Speaker 1: The twenty one year old man, a question gainfully employee,
- 35:24Speaker 1: takes care of his sickly grandfather, has no criminal record.
- 35:28Speaker 1: Congs from Lauis Frankel says she's known him since he
- 35:30Speaker 1: was three years old. She shares a view of the
- 35:32Speaker 1: community that the sentence was cruel and unjust signed the Times.
- 35:36Speaker 1: I guess BuzzFeed, says a white student on a middle
- 35:38Speaker 1: school trip to Washington, DC spat on a black visitor
- 35:41Speaker 1: at the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture. Yeah,
- 35:46Speaker 1: condoless are coming in all over Hollywood to character actor
- 35:49Speaker 1: Robert Forster. You best remember him as Baale Bondsman mac Cherry,
- 35:52Speaker 1: opposite to Pam Green and Jackie Brown. Well, let's say
- 35:57Speaker 1: I got one now, kick, It's like, here's some music, sure,
- 36:02Speaker 1: and she plays the Delphonics. Come back to the Steve
- 36:05Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You're listening show, all right, Junior. You
- 36:11Speaker 1: talked about this earlier in the show when we first
- 36:13Speaker 1: opened up. But in case you missed it, Junior is
- 36:15Speaker 1: having He's balling out here at Steve. I mean, these
- 36:18Speaker 1: women are on him like we knew they would be.
- 36:20Speaker 1: I just want to thank saying so. And he don't
- 36:23Speaker 1: never have to ask me if I'm coming back. I
- 36:26Speaker 1: don't have to even check with me. He just signed
- 36:29Speaker 1: me up. I'll be here. I'll do two comedy shows.
- 36:32Speaker 1: He won't be too. I work all week. Oh yeah,
- 36:34Speaker 1: the comedy show was great. Less women though, see I
- 36:39Speaker 1: came down here for the women. But I didn't know.
- 36:40Speaker 1: I wouldn't go hit my age group. No, I'm a
- 36:43Speaker 1: generation that he Okay, you know, and I'm really loving
- 36:47Speaker 1: it though, but tell you ain't as saying so you
- 36:50Speaker 1: are saying it old just down here with whoever won't me?
- 36:54Speaker 1: And I didn't even know I got feeds the ages.
- 36:57Speaker 1: I didn't hit show. Okay, Uh, there's the lady I
- 37:00Speaker 1: already knows. Miss sent me to Miss Pritchard. She's sixty sixty. Yeah,
- 37:05Speaker 1: there's uh Miss Irene, she's fifty nine. Oh wow. I've
- 37:09Speaker 1: been on dates with all of them and shat down
- 37:11Speaker 1: and had candlelight dinners. But well and you're forty one. Yeah,
- 37:15Speaker 1: but that that don't matter. Though I felt something and
- 37:17Speaker 1: I don't know what is happening though, and uh gonna
- 37:21Speaker 1: to help me? What was they doing to me? But
- 37:24Speaker 1: it was it was not like it was regularly people
- 37:27Speaker 1: have whoa Joe? Is that? What is that? That thing? Yeah?
- 37:32Speaker 1: You know, old people know chance and you know you
- 37:37Speaker 1: mess around, look around and you you ain't gonna be
- 37:39Speaker 1: able to see good you want gonna mess around? Did
- 37:42Speaker 1: you did you notice a chicken foot or anything like that? Yeah,
- 37:46Speaker 1: all of a sudden, you just had some powder in
- 37:48Speaker 1: your hand. Yeah, there was a lot of stuff happening.
- 37:52Speaker 1: But Junior so social. But this is a story. I
- 37:55Speaker 1: love Steve because you know it's all inclusive. So come
- 38:00Speaker 1: on you because this is how you have to do
- 38:03Speaker 1: when you come out here the sands, because it's all inclusive.
- 38:06Speaker 1: You know. They asked me, Junior, do you mind taking
- 38:08Speaker 1: me dinner? No, I don't mind at all. We sit
- 38:13Speaker 1: down at this table. I would like a glass of wine.
- 38:15Speaker 1: Girl got that. Hey, hey, get song, get song, get
- 38:18Speaker 1: over here, get her any glass of wine? And she
- 38:20Speaker 1: walked drink Is that what it is? Yeah, we're in Mexico. However,
- 38:26Speaker 1: he was there because I saw it in the movie.
- 38:28Speaker 1: But yeah, everything else. Whatever she wanted movie, I give
- 38:32Speaker 1: it a menu, and whatever she wanted on the menu,
- 38:35Speaker 1: I let her get it. Wild all I did would
- 38:38Speaker 1: leader tip and she kissed me on my cheek for
- 38:40Speaker 1: that wish. No, no, no, we didn't. Don't. I didn't.
- 38:46Speaker 1: I didn't. I don't know. Old people can't eat they can't.
- 38:50Speaker 1: They lacked hop. No, you know old people would you
- 38:54Speaker 1: can eat ice cream all your life? Then, so after
- 38:56Speaker 1: fifty five something down you can't held the light scream
- 38:59Speaker 1: no more. It's no my wife's cream fad l I
- 39:02Speaker 1: had I creamn my stummacht. No go next year. I
- 39:11Speaker 1: don't even know what we're gonna have already, you have
- 39:14Speaker 1: a plan already. Okay, all right, okay, well, thank you Junior.
- 39:18Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty four after the hour. Steve Harvey
- 39:21Speaker 1: has a really, really, really big heart. He's He's mentioned
- 39:24Speaker 1: it to us already, some of the big things that
- 39:26Speaker 1: he's done. But we're going to tell you more about
- 39:28Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening to all right, So
- 39:34Speaker 1: today Steve, as we had home reluctantly from the Sand
- 39:38Speaker 1: and Soul Festival. Uh, we are at the morning show.
- 39:42Speaker 1: Want to take time. We want to thank you. We
- 39:44Speaker 1: did this earlier, but really, thank you Steve for such
- 39:46Speaker 1: a grand trip. It's such a wonderful trip. Thank you
- 39:50Speaker 1: for that you have such a giving heart, such a
- 39:52Speaker 1: big heart, even though you have no money. But thank you. Uh,
- 39:57Speaker 1: demand told you to go up. You had no money.
- 40:00Speaker 1: Do you have enough money? Steve? One thing I have
- 40:02Speaker 1: to say about you and Marjorie especially, I saw it
- 40:05Speaker 1: all weekend with Marjorie. She lives her best life. She
- 40:08Speaker 1: celebrated her birthday with the people down here stand and soul.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Two ladies stop me early this morning on the Wildhood Steve.
- 40:17Speaker 1: Marjorie was down at the pool yesterday with us and
- 40:22Speaker 1: she was doing it. I mean, just having fun, knowing
- 40:28Speaker 1: how to enjoy your life. Just enjoying your life. And
- 40:31Speaker 1: you know you guys do that. But you also of
- 40:34Speaker 1: course give back to the community in major, major ways.
- 40:37Speaker 1: And this trip, because of what happened in the DR
- 40:40Speaker 1: you talked about, it afforded you to do some other things,
- 40:43Speaker 1: you know, open up some more doors for people. Here's
- 40:46Speaker 1: what I wanted to share with you. When we had
- 40:49Speaker 1: to move to DR, we had hundreds of cancelation. When
- 40:55Speaker 1: we lost to DR, we lost six hundred rooms and
- 40:59Speaker 1: you still got to play for it. And so I
- 41:01Speaker 1: had to pay for the six hundred rumors. It ain't
- 41:07Speaker 1: just the room, that's the all inclusive. It's like a package.
- 41:11Speaker 1: Because they were unable if they if we take the hotel,
- 41:14Speaker 1: they can't sell the room. So I had to take
- 41:16Speaker 1: that loss, and it was a big loss. But I
- 41:19Speaker 1: was sitting there and I was saying, Okay, God, what
- 41:21Speaker 1: is this about. Why did you let this happen? And
- 41:22Speaker 1: he said, so I want you to do something else,
- 41:25Speaker 1: and he just I got up one morning about three
- 41:27Speaker 1: thirty am. I couldn't sleep. I was tossing and turning.
- 41:30Speaker 1: I said, Okay, what is it. He just says, just
- 41:32Speaker 1: what I want you to do. So I said, man,
- 41:34Speaker 1: let's turn these limbs into lemonade. So what I decided
- 41:36Speaker 1: to do was we invited a lot of breast cancel
- 41:39Speaker 1: women who were struggling. We invited a lot of them down.
- 41:45Speaker 1: We also said that even though it was a late notice,
- 41:47Speaker 1: we sent out to a lot of affiliates, radio affiliates.
- 41:51Speaker 1: I met a few affiliates down here, people who are
- 41:53Speaker 1: on our radio business, so they could come down. They
- 41:56Speaker 1: have been riding with the Steve Harvey Morning Show for years.
- 41:59Speaker 1: You know, it was noticed, but some of them came.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Then we opened it up to terminally ill people who
- 42:05Speaker 1: were terminally ill, and we invite a lot of them down.
- 42:08Speaker 1: We didn't make a big stink about it. We just
- 42:11Speaker 1: let them come down. You know, they're terminally ill people.
- 42:13Speaker 1: And they came down for the Vagant vacation. And then
- 42:16Speaker 1: we reached out to so many a hundred some people
- 42:22Speaker 1: who run foundations for the homeless for the hungry, who
- 42:27Speaker 1: run shelters orphanages. Last night on stage, we bought the
- 42:33Speaker 1: woman up whose orphanage was destroyed in the Bahamas, but
- 42:37Speaker 1: the Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation stepped in and we
- 42:42Speaker 1: supplied all of the water and the money to get
- 42:45Speaker 1: the orphanage built back. And then we invited a lot
- 42:49Speaker 1: of philanthropic people who do work that never get anythings.
- 42:53Speaker 1: They just served people, served people, so we invited them
- 42:56Speaker 1: down free. And then last, or not least, we invited
- 42:59Speaker 1: the mother this from the Mother's Movement, women who have
- 43:04Speaker 1: lost their sons to police. Violet Michael Brown's mother was here,
- 43:08Speaker 1: treyvon Martin's mother was here. Um Eric Gard and this
- 43:12Speaker 1: mother was here. Man I talked to that woman man,
- 43:15Speaker 1: you know, and and and the twin sister. And then
- 43:20Speaker 1: we had several other people came down. Benjamin Crump came down.
- 43:24Speaker 1: We bought the Mother's own stage at the and we
- 43:30Speaker 1: just did a lot of things for a lot of people,
- 43:32Speaker 1: and we were able to feel the rooms up. Even
- 43:36Speaker 1: though it still was a financial loss. What happened was
- 43:40Speaker 1: was way bigger than money, you know, and it turned
- 43:43Speaker 1: out to be a blessing. And what God to do
- 43:45Speaker 1: in return in exchange for that? Who knows you was crazy?
- 43:50Speaker 1: You so big, I didn't even you know, I know
- 43:52Speaker 1: you big. But when I found the mothers of the
- 43:55Speaker 1: movement was fans of the show. Yeah, absolutely, I know
- 44:01Speaker 1: it was. You're right. It was such a blessing to
- 44:04Speaker 1: see all of that and be in the midst of
- 44:05Speaker 1: all of that looking Trayvon Martin, I know right. If
- 44:09Speaker 1: you want to see all of the pictures, all of
- 44:11Speaker 1: the people, so many of the people that have been
- 44:13Speaker 1: a part of the Sand and Soul Festival, just go
- 44:16Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook. Now, coming
- 44:19Speaker 1: up next, Junior is in for the nephew with today's
- 44:23Speaker 1: prank phone call. That's coming up right after this you're

- 53:53Speaker 1: here today. All right, Junior, take it away. All right,
- 53:55Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, here we go. It's time for the
- 53:57Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter with my good friends. Sure stroke Bery, all right,
- 54:01Speaker 1: here we go. Subject he dropped a bomb on me.
- 54:05Speaker 1: Here's Stephen Shirley. For the past five years, I've been
- 54:07Speaker 1: dating a man that is nine years older than me,
- 54:10Speaker 1: and I really love a relationship and how well he
- 54:13Speaker 1: treats me. I recently started living with him, and I
- 54:16Speaker 1: have a problem that I need your help with. My
- 54:19Speaker 1: boyfriend loves to get a big bowl of ice cream
- 54:22Speaker 1: most evenings as a treat after dinner. I try not
- 54:27Speaker 1: to be overbearing because he could be drinking alcohol or
- 54:30Speaker 1: have another bad habit. But his ice cream addiction is
- 54:33Speaker 1: killing me slowly. You see, my boyfriend is lactose intolerant.
- 54:39Speaker 1: Therefore I cannot sleep peacefully in the bed with him
- 54:42Speaker 1: at night. He drops some major stink bombs all over
- 54:46Speaker 1: the house at night. He tries to be considerate and
- 54:49Speaker 1: gets them all out before bedtime, but there's always more.
- 54:52Speaker 1: Guess when he lies down next to me. Good Lord,
- 54:56Speaker 1: I have a keen sense of smell, and I try
- 54:58Speaker 1: not to embarrass him, but he has got to be
- 55:01Speaker 1: about He's got to be about to pass out from
- 55:04Speaker 1: the awful smell too. If he lets the gas go
- 55:06Speaker 1: into another room, you can literally smell it throughout the house.
- 55:10Speaker 1: I have asked him if he could eat ice cream
- 55:12Speaker 1: in the middle of the day, or if he could
- 55:14Speaker 1: eat it just a couple of times a week instead
- 55:17Speaker 1: of every night. I even threw his ice cream away
- 55:20Speaker 1: and he went and bought more. I have moved to
- 55:23Speaker 1: the guest room as a final attempt to get him
- 55:26Speaker 1: to see how it's affecting me. He seems to not care.
- 55:29Speaker 1: I honestly don't want to keep making it an issue.
- 55:33Speaker 1: I don't want to lose a good man over a
- 55:35Speaker 1: gassy situation. Shouldn't he want to compromise, please help? Well, absolutely,
- 55:41Speaker 1: he should want to compromise, But in this situation, it
- 55:44Speaker 1: doesn't look like he is wanting to compromise. And you're
- 55:47Speaker 1: saying he's a good man. You don't want to lose
- 55:48Speaker 1: him over a gassy situation. Completely understandable, completely, but this
- 55:54Speaker 1: is an easy fix to me, This is an easy fix.
- 55:57Speaker 1: All you have to do is get him some lactose
- 55:59Speaker 1: free ice cream. They sell it at your local supermarket,
- 56:02Speaker 1: your local grocery stores. All of that. I mean, you
- 56:05Speaker 1: know you might have to sneak it in on him,
- 56:09Speaker 1: though you know at first, because here's the deal. Just
- 56:14Speaker 1: switch it out. Switch it out, don't say anything, don't
- 56:17Speaker 1: warn him, don't give him prior knowledge, none of that.
- 56:21Speaker 1: Switch out the regular lactose ice cream or the lactose
- 56:24Speaker 1: free ice cream. Don't tell him you know, so he
- 56:28Speaker 1: won't fix his mind not to like it before he
- 56:30Speaker 1: even tastes it, because that can happen a lot of times.
- 56:33Speaker 1: Try different stores, different flavors, all of that, Okay, see
- 56:37Speaker 1: which one he likes better. I'm excited. I'm excited about this.
- 56:40Speaker 1: I think this can work out for you guys, this relationship.
- 56:43Speaker 1: And definitely he should want to compromise. Okay if he
- 56:46Speaker 1: gives you any problem, which he might. Now he's stuck
- 56:50Speaker 1: to his ice cream, like you say he is. I
- 56:54Speaker 1: don't know what you're gonna do. Then, I don't know,
- 56:57Speaker 1: get him some dairy free ice cream, okay, Steve, Well
- 57:03Speaker 1: that's nice. Steam started living with this dude that's nine
- 57:08Speaker 1: years older than me, you know, and got this big problem.
- 57:13Speaker 1: Every night he has a big bowl of ice cream
- 57:15Speaker 1: every evening as a treat after dinner, and not to
- 57:19Speaker 1: be overbearing because he could be drinking alcohol. Now, I
- 57:24Speaker 1: used to eat ice cream every night when I lived
- 57:26Speaker 1: in New York because I was miserable. Ice cream and
- 57:29Speaker 1: a peanut butter sandwich every single night. Whoa and big
- 57:33Speaker 1: yeah and swollen. So now I know big boy, and
- 57:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna say big boy, because if you eat ice
- 57:39Speaker 1: cream every night and then lay your ass down, you
- 57:42Speaker 1: spreading homie. Yeah yeah, if you're just laying down and
- 57:46Speaker 1: then when you lack toast and your body starts, won't
- 57:49Speaker 1: sit out, so that sport's happening. You you're dealing with
- 57:53Speaker 1: the body or excreting, trying to get rid of red
- 58:00Speaker 1: itself of the toxic dairy product that is milk. So
- 58:06Speaker 1: now he lacked tos intller. Oh, he dropping bombs major
- 58:13Speaker 1: all through the night. You know, you know he tried
- 58:20Speaker 1: to be considered and get him all out full bed time.
- 58:22Speaker 1: How he'd do that, But they have always more gas
- 58:27Speaker 1: when he lay down next to me, because the big
- 58:29Speaker 1: ass can't get it all out because it ain't all
- 58:32Speaker 1: in the system right away. It gets in the stomach
- 58:34Speaker 1: and it starts turning and all this hill. And I
- 58:37Speaker 1: got a keen sense of smell. You ain't gotta have
- 58:39Speaker 1: a keen sense of smell to smell that. You ain't
- 58:43Speaker 1: gotta have a good smell at all when it's somebody else.
- 58:46Speaker 1: And then you'll be thinking about yeah, and then you
- 58:49Speaker 1: think you know he but he ought to pass out
- 58:52Speaker 1: because he ought to be passing up. Let me tell
- 58:55Speaker 1: you something. Most people that stak don't know. They they
- 59:00Speaker 1: have no clue. They they it's regular, it's normal, it's
- 59:06Speaker 1: normal to them. Funky people don't know they funky. That's
- 59:11Speaker 1: why they funking. Okay, so now you see them there.
- 59:15Speaker 1: Now listen to me. Now you're gonna have to buy
- 59:18Speaker 1: lactose and colored ice cream, but now surely say switch
- 59:22Speaker 1: it out. But you've got to be slicking in that
- 59:25Speaker 1: because what he can't see it that black and white
- 59:27Speaker 1: cow that ice cream. Yeah, that's gonna with his mind. Right,
- 59:31Speaker 1: you can't see that black but he already knows that.
- 59:34Speaker 1: Mean what you got to do is you got to
- 59:39Speaker 1: take the ice cream out the carton and put the
- 59:42Speaker 1: lactose ice cream in the car. It ain't switched to
- 59:47Speaker 1: ice cream. You got to change cartons. You cannot let
- 59:52Speaker 1: him see that blue and white label with that damn
- 59:56Speaker 1: cow on that. You got to throw that away. You're right,
- 59:59Speaker 1: you got to put it in the car and get
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: get a good flavor too. That the hell you can
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: disguise chunking monkey better than vanilla is obvious. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: all right, hang on, Steve, I know you have more
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: on this. I know you do. All right, we'll have
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: part two of Steve's response coming up at twenty three
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: after the hour, subject he dropped a bomb on me
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: like the Gap band. We'll be back right after this.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: You're listening all right, Steve, come on, let's recap the
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: Strawberry letters subject. He dropped a bomb on me. Baby.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: She married to this dude is nine years older than him,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: and he eats ice cream every day as a treat
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: after dinner, a big bowl of ice cream and then
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: he go to bed. But he lactose in taller. So
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: this boy dropping bombs on this woman and she can't
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: taking no more. And to see, what I want you
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: to understand about these bombs that he come on is
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: he's nine years old, and so what does that mean
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: that it's some stuff in his ship that's had nine
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: Is it didn't busted? See, when you lactose intolerant, ain't
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: just the ice cream you ate, it's the stuff that's
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: caught up in your line. All that's coming up. That's bacteria.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: Because it's when you lactose intolerant, your system is saying
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: to you that, to me, dairy is toxic. Yeah, because
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: you shouldn't be drinking the milk from another animal anyway,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: we really aren't. It was meant for the animal, not
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: for us, you know, So technically they are correct, But
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: when you lactose intolerant and then your body can't it
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: wants to throw it out as toxic, but you insist
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: on eating it now. And also let me explain something
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: to you. If a little pain coming lactose, Oh, it
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: ain't free. It ain't just gas. Oh, it's cutting. It's cutting.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: What part of the stomach that's under the coding that's
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: in your Bowers colding is different from Bowers. This is
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: after then going to the cold and it's a little
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: storage area right there. Ride for storage area. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: you got the cooling and then you got the storage
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: area where it has fermented and turned into something that's
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: gonna land in the toilet. That storage areas where that
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: laptosa what's coming out as the storage the storage compartment
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: is rebuking the ice cream. Jesus Smack got rebuke in
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: the rain and sorry boy, And I know he got
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: some weight on him because he did this every night.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: The fat answer is in there, just funking up the house. Now,
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: what you didn't did was you asked him if he
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: could eat the ice cream in the middle of the
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: day or he could just break it down and drake
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: a couple of times a week. He ain't trying to
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: hit that you. She even threw the ice cream away,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: and he went and bought moldow. So now what she
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: says he did was she to move to the guest
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: room as a final attempt to get him to see
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: how's affected me. And he seems to not care love that.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: Let me help him. He don't just love ice cream.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: He loves ice cream, mold he love you. Oh, I
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: mean ice cream is delicious. It ain't better than sex,
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: but and I've had some bad sex. But Steve, don't
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: you think she may have left this out? Don't you
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: think they know about La toast free ice cream? You
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: doesn't know about that? Odd him? Yeah, he doesn't want you,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: don't like the flavor. So now what I think is
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: you ought to get n she here's what you're going ahead,
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: just an ultimato. Okay, mold ice cream, no sex. You
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: got to tie to something. So now what we gotta
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: do is we gotta start thinking of alternative alternatives. So
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: a band, Yeah, how about cake? Let's just try some
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: How about cobbler? Most black people to trade in a
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: bowl ice cream for a big old hunker cobbler, Peach cobbler,
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: most people will dobler. You just eat this peach ice cream?
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: Care your fat but see, you lacked toasts intolerant. Now
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: what you're gonna have to do is, now this is
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: messed up, But you got to get him to break this. Heaven,
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: you got to put something on this ice cream, Like
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: I'm about to say so the next time when you
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: try to just get rid of it before he come
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: to bed, he gonna try to get rid of it.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: And god, see once you start doing that on yourself,
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: once you sugar honey, yeah, your ass stops. Really you're
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: sitting up in the here and messed up your good pagamas. Yeah,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: the ones you got for Christmas? Now you old fiber. Yeah,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: she's such a good man. Though he is a good man.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: But but but he lactose intolerance. He's got to get
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: rid of it. So, sister, you got two ups ice cream?
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: No set, we got to introduce something else to it.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: I don't know the difference between ice cream and gelato. Okay,
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: well we gotta try. So we got to trick his
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: very free so something. Don't eat soy ice cream. Black
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: men shouldn't eat soy. It raises your estrogen. Uber black men.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: African American men should not know. I got a lot
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: of for real, No, this is for real. You should
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: not be eating soy products. African American man converts soy
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: into estrogen. Estrogen reduces your libido, estrom does a lot
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: of things, makes you fatigue everything. So you can't do that.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: Don't do that. Okay. You can post your comments on
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letter and Steve Harvey FM or Instagram and Facebook,
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: and please don't forget to check out the Strawberry Letter
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: podcast on demand now coming up at forty six after
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: the hour. A Sand and Soul Strawberry Letter. That's gonna
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: be a little quickie though. You don't know the people
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: that have been coming up to me giving me strawberry
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: letters throughout this into Oh yes, you should hear the
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: one we heard coming over. All right, we'll be back
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show, all right, Steve,
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: here's like a quickie sand and Soul Festival Strawberry Letter. Okay,
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: So this guy at the pool party stopped me and
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: said his girlfriend only likes drunk sects. All right, she
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: has to drink before she goes to bed with him.
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: So I wanted to ask you, junior, you can get
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: down on this too. How would that make you feel
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: if You're significant other only wanted to have sex with
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: you when she was drunk. I'm buying a little stone,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: What Junior, I'm buying? I would do what's on it?
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: Every week I'm coming out. We ain't no money, Oh go,
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: that's it. I specs. I don't care where we have
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: little stone for show. She's on that whatever, whatever it is,
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: that would hurt me because I've never seen Marjorie drunk,
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: so it would just completely just owe me off, would it?
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Would it hurt your ego? I guess that's where things too. Well,
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: get the drinking. What's your favorite cheers? Top? Shit, I'm
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: gonna have some nice stuff in there, at least a
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: bog on Luke, right, you know some Louis Foteen. I
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: know what to put up in there, you know. Yeah? Yeah,
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: he was feeling some kind of way. Yeah, he was
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: feeling some kind of ways his girl and his girlfriend
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: just wanted to hanswer the only one. She was drunk.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: Then this other girl we were writing over here when
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: we first got here, got off the plane. This other
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: girl rode with us, and she was saying that she
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: had been in a relationship for about six months. Was
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: it with this guy? Nice? Guy. You know, they wanted
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: to have a committed relationship. But then like after the
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: six months, he told her that he had someone, he
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: had another woman, and the other woman called the girl
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: and said, look, he loves me and he loves you,
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: so why don't you come on over here? You know,
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: one of you. We've had letters about this, Steve. Those
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: polyamorous relationships, that's big right now. Yeah, when you have
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: more than one person that you're in love with or
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: in a relationship with, like it's usually one man. And
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: I've been in love with two words. Yeah, but you've
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: only been with one woman at a time. I didn't tell. Oh,
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: you didn't tell. Oh, you weren't honest. But now people
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: are being open and honest. I was in love. Why
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: would I tell you that I'm in love with her too?
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: Because you can apparently now and women don't care anymore.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: Not a yeah, no, you can do it now. Though,
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: if you ain't committed to that person what you want
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: that person to be to you, How does this work?
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: It doesn't work? Pardner? Yeah, all right, coming up at
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: the top of the hour. I don't know if you
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: guys knew this or not, Steve, but today is national
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: bald Day and we'll talk about that right after this.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: What anybody look here? You're listening to all right, Steve?
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: So today is National bald Day? Uh? No guy likes
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: seeing their hair receding? Is that a true statement? Guys? Hello?
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: Well at one one, at one point, you can't even
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: see it going back no more. If you're starting to
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: brush your hair at your heel, that's where the first
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: stroke is that brush. You can you start combing and
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: brushing at your ear? You got to let goldpod. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: you're right, Steve. No, no guy, No guy loves to
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: see their hairline receding. But it turns out that there's
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: no need for men to losing to fear losing their
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: hair because, according to a new study, women actually find
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: baldman sexy. I know, gonna hear, well, I'm sorrying you
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: sounded a little bit like Tommy right there. No, no, no,
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: I don't care if you think I'm saying okay, I've
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: claimed it. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know if
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: you think I'm saying okay, I've claimed that's how you
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: feel about Yeah, I feel about me like I'm okay
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: with me. Every day that I walked out the house,
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: confident in my baldness. I dressed up and appreciate my ball.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: And it's because now I ain't got to comb my hand, okay,
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: and then boom, I'm good. That to me is sexy. Now,
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: whether you think I'm sexy or not, it has nothing
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: to do with it. But you know what, Steve. From
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: the very first time you shaved your hair, you owned it.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: After it was gone, you owned it. You called all
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: of us, sent us a picture. We said, it looks good.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: You got a great shaped head. I put a three
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: ft three inch part in my head. There was no
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: going back. You actually, this is how I started shaving.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: And once you put the part here, yeah, it ain't
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: over here, No, No, I ran it at an angle
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: across my head. There's no going back. You did love that,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: But it's been like one of the coolest things I've done.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: You know, he himself, I should be a barber bootleg,
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: got hand on license, but I couldn't. All my boys
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: is down here, and now I don't get him all
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: dug all them boys from my fraternity. I've given all
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: them haircuts. Man Love gave me the que lot back
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: in the day. All the queues I used to put
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: the shag on the back, but I bumped it boom,
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: so the half of their head looked like a cue.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: We should call it que lot. I cut all my boys, had,
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: every last one of them. My boys. Spade was mad
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: at me the other night too, because I didn't cut
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: his hand when he was pledged and I was tired
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: with night. He wanted the haircut. He did in itself
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: and ran a two inch part in his head, and
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: then he had a big fro, so he was trying
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: to comb it all over. As soon as we go
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: to a set, the brothers would move it would move it.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: I want to see this part and make him talk
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: with his hand. Oh wow, Well anyway, Happy National Ball Day?
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: What's up, Junior? How are you feeling about National Ball Day? Asking?
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: In a couple of years? Quiet? Say it? You say it?
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: You would come on now you're gonna cut his hair
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: for him, like you're gonna get tired. You're gonna get
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: tired on this little jail all this stuff. But you know,
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: Junior used to have curls. So when you have curls,
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: it's kind of hard to let those curls go. When
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: girls love curl to see, it's gone his head just
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: just early, right, stay with a little jail on sick
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: little head and make it look fool. Don't be in
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: over picking number. Like I told the other day, Margine
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: just got tired all that black stuff on pillow case.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: I was spraying a little black in my hotel. Right,
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: she said, hey, you know were spending on these pills.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: I said, get my pillowcas from talking because you know
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: she was sleeping on satin pillowcakes. Don't pull a head
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: out and all like that. That's rights, run it. She
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: was sleeping. I pulled it pill out and laid on it,
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: got that black stuff on it. Boy, that was it.
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: Oh my fitness Steve. All right, listen, coming up, more music,
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: more fun on this National Ball Day. We'll be back
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: at twenty minutes after the hour right after this you're
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: listening show. All right, guys, we've talked about this. October
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: is a busy month for birthdays. Of course. Marjorie celebrated
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: her big birthday down here at Sandon Soul Festival in Cancun, Mexico.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: That was fun. She had so much fun. I just
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: enjoyed watching her dance and enjoy it. Of course, genuine
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: sang happy birthday to her from the stage age. Uh,
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: Dougie Fresh had the whole go ahead. Fresh, Dougie Fresh
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: is really one of the greatest living entertaining man. And
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: I mean because he does it. No, he entertained, but
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: he does it like nobody else. I mean he's a specialist, right,
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: don't kire who you are? And he had him jumping
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: the whole time. No, he's he's a really I wanted
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: this whole short. He was so talented, but he took
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: me one thing and made it the biggest thing. Beat boxing.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: It's all you. You go around the world beat boxing.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: But dog, he never stopped doing it. He never you
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: know what he danced with who brung it? He didn't
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: go you know what, I'm tired of doing. I'm gonna
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: do something else. That's what happened. Man, you're an R
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: and B saying what do you mean you tired of
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: doing on me? I'm gonna wrap spose. Michael Jackson got
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: tired of saving. Yeah, I want to beat the one
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: to stuff. Everybody knows it's gonna go crazy. All right,
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: We'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: Show coming up in thirty three minutes after the hour
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening to morning show. All right.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: So in today's trending entertainment news from our homestation w
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: h U r F M N DC, Kanye took his
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: Sunday service on the road again. This time he landed
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: at Howard University in Washington, d C. Kanye was there.
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: That was nice. Hung Kim Kardashian along with the kids,
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: North and Saint two of the four kids. They showed
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: up at the historically African American college that was on
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: Saturday for an eight am show, and it did not disappoint.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: Kanye never does a show that disappoints. The university didn't
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: not to announced Kanye's appearance until hours before the event,
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: but that was enough time for students and others to swarm.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: I mean they packed the house to see Kanye. I
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: saw Terence Jay on the Graham rocking out on stage
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: to it. There was criticism of Kanye's appearance at Howard,
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: presumably for Kanye's support of President Trump. Greg Carr, the
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: chairman of Howard's Department of Afro American Studies, wrote, if
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: Kanye West is indeed at Howard you this morning, send
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: him to the third floor of the Founder's library after
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: he's done, I have some books for him. What's you
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: think about that, Steve? I mean, I can understand what
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: they're saying, but let's not miss the point that he
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: bought church service. Um. You know, you have every right
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: to disagree with his political views, you really do. But
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: his love of God for everybody and it's he's and
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: he's trying to do some things right. You know, people,
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: people don't have to agree with you politically to still
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: have the ability to do something right. I'm not gonna
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: dog out Kanye because he's trying to do the church
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: services nationwide and bring awareness to God's presence. That's the
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: part I look at. No, I have no problem with
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: what the man said. I mean, it might not hurt
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: to read, that might not, but I don't want that
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: to get in the way of the message he tries
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: to say to the masses of people, you know, because
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: I disagree with what he said about Trump, which I
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: do too, but I think what he's doing and Howard
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: bringing church service down as far bigger than He's only
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: one vote. Let's let's just be real. Kanye West gets
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: one vote. All these people are supporting Trump. YEA to day.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: One vote, if we get out and do I one
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: vote is more of us than the right. They are
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: husbands and wives. That's gonna break our marriage. Yeah, no, no, no,
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: Me and marger k had at one of us gonna
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: get on the other one side. Yeah, I mean, but
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: plenty of households have that though, you know. I mean,
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: it's a free country. Meanwhile, back here in Cancoon, Mexico,
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: there's so many trending viral videos of us partying all around.
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: I mean, we've been having some fun. The Splash Foam
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: party was so good, Casino night was so good, or
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: the high before, I should say, Anthony Hamilton, unbelievable, genuine,
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: we've been having some wonderful time. Your golf situation, well,
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: other than check in, it's great. Other than check in
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: was great. All right, coming up our very last break
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: of the day, and then some closing remarks from the
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: one in only Steve Harvey at forty nine minutes after.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening to show. All right, Steve,
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: here we are, last break of the day. It's been
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: a good morning. Carl was out, of course, celebrating her birthday.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: The nephews out, Jay is out. It's been the three amigos.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: And I do mean that literally since we just left
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: standing Soul Tray amigos. So now it's time. Now, how
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: do you know that? How do you say closing remarks
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: and Espanol close. I'll tell you one thing, man, thank
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: you unc man. I really I really do, man. I
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: mean I really learned so much over the weekend, just
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: not even just at the shows, just your masterclass, your
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: Q and A man that was pretty good. Man, they
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: were great. Man. You know, let's talk about that my
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: closing remarks, because you know I discovered that in um
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: Q and a's and stuff. The thing that I've learned
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: the most as older, I've gotten is that you can
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: be different from somebody else and still be okay with
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: them being different from you. And I think we've got
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: to be getting better at this. You know, everybody jumped
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: on Kanye because Kanye made his statement supporting Donald Trump.
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: But then when Kanye comes to give a religious concert
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: at Howard, some people don't want to attend because of
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: what he said about Trump. Well, what does that have
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: to do with his religious views? I think we're gonna
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: have to start understanding that we are all different. I
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: can be different from you and still love you. I
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: can be different from you and get along with you.
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: I can actually be different from you, have a different
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: view from you, and actually enjoy you. You know. Ellen
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: DeGeneres got beat up by the gay community recently because
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: she was sitting at a baseball game with George Bush
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: and some of the people. Some of the comments that
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: I read were and what Ellen was dressing on her
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: show was they we're talking about how can you sit
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: with someone who doesn't agree with who we are? Wait
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: a minute, could it be that being gay is not
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: for George Bush? But does that mean he doesn't like
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: gay people. I'm not a gay person, but I have
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: gay friends, I have gay relatives, I have gay employees.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: I think man. I found them to be some of
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: the most hard working, smartest, gracious, happy, kindest people I've
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: ever met. I met some straight people ain't worthing for
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: damn funky trying to do me wrong. A person don't
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: have to be like you for you to understand them,
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: or how about just accept them because it ain't your life,
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: it ain't your world, and it looks as long as
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: a person ain't trying to bring their world on you
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: and make you be who they are, what's your problem
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: with it? And that's I had to grow as a person.
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: You know, man, I'm from the hood. Man, I'm an
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: old school ket I was born in nineteen fifty seven.
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: Do you understand, man, how taboo it was back in
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: the day for a person to be different like that? Oh? No, man,
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: And then you had to play the manto room. Better
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: get away from me. What you over here talking to me?
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: For talking to you? Because they're communicating. Yeah, but it
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: don't mean nothing. So what I had to grow and
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: learn as a person is because of the person it's
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: different from me, I have to learn how to accept
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: their differences. Hell, I'm crazy to somebody, I'm off beat
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: to somebody. I'm see right there. See So now why
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: would I have a problem. Y'all We're gonna have to
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: start being a little bit more accepting of other people's
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: differences so that we can all get through this world.
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: God didn't create us to be the same. You ain't
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: got the same fingerprints. It's seven billion people in the
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: world to day, some number like that. You know that
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: of the seven billion people, none of us have the
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: same fingerprints. So now you're not gonna have the same prefaces.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: You don't like the same food, you don't want, the
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: same car, you don't like to say outfits, you don't like,
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: say style. I like skinny jeans, but my ass can't
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: win up because guess what, I ain't skinny, but I
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: like to see people with skinny jeans on, but they're
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: not for me. You, So, now what, I ain't gonna
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: like you because you got on skinny jeans. I don't
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: care who you love, don't and what they got to
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: do with who I I love, who I'm gonna love.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna be in love with my wife because that's
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: for me. Because somebody else loves somebody else that ain't
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: got nothing to do with me. That's they life, that's
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: their business. We got to start man allowing people to
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: freedom to be fled because guess what, you you can't
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: judge people like like like see sin. Let's just let's
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: let's we're not talking about anything right now except sin.
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: You are not allowed to waste sins. That's God's job.
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: The human being is not allowed to waste sin. It's
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: not for you to say this sin is heavier than that.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: Seeing that ain't your job. It's not your job to judge.
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: That's not your job. Heaven is created for people. Now,
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: if there are no perfect people, who is going to heaven?
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: That's my question for you. That are no perfect people,
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: So who going to heaven? So who are you to
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: decide who that person is? Because if you really want
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: to know the truth about it, we all come short
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: in some way, form or another. But it's not your
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: call or the Bible say a man should marry man.
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: All of the Bible also say that I should not judge,
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: that should not steal, that should not kill, that should
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: not bear for witness. You ain't supposed to sleep with
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: somebody you ain't married too. You ain't supposed to commit adultree.
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: You ain't puped to do that. Ho Ho Are you're
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: trying to tell me you clean on all that? If
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: you want to go by that. But God is a
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: fair and a just god, and he will rule out
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: in the end. I think that He has prepared a
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: place for good people. That's what I think. And all
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: I'm trying to do is just be one of them
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: good people. Stop judge and everybody. It ain't your business.
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: You try to get yourself through them gates. Don't wear
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: about nobody else. Those are my closing remarks. Okay, y'all
