- 0:13Speaker 3: black a million bush.
- 0:23Speaker 4: Yeah, listening to to.
- 0:38Speaker 5: I don't joy yeah, joy, you love.
- 1:06Speaker 6: You gotta turn I can't.
- 1:40Speaker 1: I got to turn the mouse.
- 1:42Speaker 7: Turn.
- 1:43Speaker 5: You probably got to turn the mouth, turn a word
- 1:47Speaker 5: of the money up.
- 1:49Speaker 8: Look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Come out.
- 1:59Speaker 9: You think that, Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 9: You're listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now
- 2:08Speaker 9: one it only Steve Harvey got a radio show. I
- 2:12Speaker 9: got a tweet the other day. When Steve Harvey used
- 2:16Speaker 9: to get the preaching, I used to just turn the
- 2:18Speaker 9: radio off. But nah, it's different. Old dude be bringing it.
- 2:25Speaker 9: He'd be bringing the truth. I appreciate that, you know, Man,
- 2:30Speaker 9: When I was younger, Man, when when I wanted to
- 2:32Speaker 9: do what I wanted to do, Man, I just man,
- 2:35Speaker 9: I ain't want to hear nothing else. I didn't want
- 2:37Speaker 9: to hear nothing that contradicted what I wanted to do,
- 2:40Speaker 9: you know. So it's a funny thing man about me. Man,
- 2:43Speaker 9: I was I would hear the truth, I would know
- 2:46Speaker 9: it to be the truth. But because I had another plan,
- 2:49Speaker 9: another mission, another goal, another set of dudes. I wanted
- 2:52Speaker 9: to get done. I didn't want to hear that you
- 2:56Speaker 9: as a funny thing.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Man.
- 2:57Speaker 9: It's like it's like when I was a little boy
- 3:00Speaker 9: and I used to get scared sometime at night, you know,
- 3:02Speaker 9: the boogerman. So I thought that if I just pulled
- 3:05Speaker 9: the blanket up over my head, that that meant that
- 3:09Speaker 9: if I can't see the Boogerman, he can't see me.
- 3:12Speaker 2: That's the theory.
- 3:14Speaker 9: That's an ostrich, you know, sticking his head in the sand,
- 3:18Speaker 9: thinking wow, if I don't see this dude, he can't
- 3:20Speaker 9: see me. A lot of Ostriches done died with their
- 3:23Speaker 9: heads stuck in the sand. I just didn't want to
- 3:26Speaker 9: be one of the people that left this world with
- 3:28Speaker 9: my head in the sand. But I just wanted to say, man,
- 3:33Speaker 9: this morning that quit talking about change. Y'all listening, because
- 3:42Speaker 9: because because this is real right here, quit talking about change.
- 3:49Speaker 9: Unlet's make a change, you know, man, I don't I
- 3:52Speaker 9: don't mind giving people advice. I really, I really really don't,
- 3:55Speaker 9: because so many people along the way have handed it
- 3:59Speaker 9: to me freely.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Man.
- 4:01Speaker 9: Some people just saw me doing wrong and say, young man,
- 4:03Speaker 9: come in, let me talk to you for a minute.
- 4:05Speaker 9: Some people say, hey, brother, look man, I know what
- 4:07Speaker 9: you're trying to do. Man, it have you thought about
- 4:11Speaker 9: it this way? So I've had a lot of favor
- 4:14Speaker 9: in my life, a lot of grace been shown on me,
- 4:17Speaker 9: a lot of mercy, A lot of people that came
- 4:19Speaker 9: to me helped me a long way. So I don't
- 4:21Speaker 9: have no problem with this part of what I'm what
- 4:23Speaker 9: I'm obligated to do in the mornings. But let's quit
- 4:25Speaker 9: talking about change, y'all, and let's make a change. She
- 4:29Speaker 9: Change is growth, and ain't no growth without change. You
- 4:35Speaker 9: got people, Man, You ever met a person that's just
- 4:37Speaker 9: insistent on doing it?
- 4:39Speaker 2: They wait?
- 4:40Speaker 9: I mean nobody in the building think they should go
- 4:43Speaker 9: that way, but they so bone headed. Oh this is
- 4:48Speaker 9: how I'm gonna do it. But bro, listen to me, Man,
- 4:51Speaker 9: that ain't high. It's done. You gonna run into this distance.
- 4:54Speaker 2: I'll show you Ait a minute. Man, you can't do
- 4:58Speaker 2: it that way.
- 4:59Speaker 9: Man, if you are sick and tired of where you are,
- 5:02Speaker 9: then you have to change. Change can only come from within.
- 5:07Speaker 9: Can nobody make you change?
- 5:09Speaker 2: Now?
- 5:09Speaker 9: We got a penal system in place that can make
- 5:12Speaker 9: you sit down if you don't want to change.
- 5:15Speaker 2: We'll sit you down.
- 5:17Speaker 9: And we'll restrict your movement and your communication to the
- 5:20Speaker 9: point where if you want to continue this foolishness, we're
- 5:23Speaker 9: going to put you in this building with a whole
- 5:25Speaker 9: lot of people. That's foolishness, and y'all just trick each
- 5:28Speaker 9: other all day long. But if you are sick and
- 5:31Speaker 9: tired of your situation, pray for it. Pray for change,
- 5:36Speaker 9: Ask God to help you change. Ask God what he
- 5:40Speaker 9: want for you instead of always telling God what you want.
- 5:43Speaker 9: It's an interesting prayer to have with God. When you
- 5:48Speaker 9: quit going to God with your list and check in
- 5:51Speaker 9: with God and see what his list is. That's a
- 5:54Speaker 9: very interesting prayer. If you're a praying person, I suggest
- 5:58Speaker 9: you try that sometime. It's so oh interesting.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Man.
- 6:01Speaker 9: Do you know what it did for me when I
- 6:03Speaker 9: started asking God what he wanted for me? Instead of
- 6:06Speaker 9: telling God all the time. I still tell him what
- 6:08Speaker 9: I want, but instead of all the time going to
- 6:11Speaker 9: Him with what I want. You know what it did
- 6:13Speaker 9: for me? It freed me up. It took a lot
- 6:16Speaker 9: of pressure off. I no longer had to think of everything,
- 6:20Speaker 9: and what I was thinking of a lot of times
- 6:21Speaker 9: wasn't working.
- 6:22Speaker 2: No way.
- 6:23Speaker 9: And when I opened myself up to what he wanted,
- 6:26Speaker 9: to what his will was, Man, do you know how
- 6:29Speaker 9: much simpler my life got? And do you know how
- 6:31Speaker 9: much bigger it got? I'm trying to tell you, man,
- 6:34Speaker 9: if you pray for change and you allow God to
- 6:37Speaker 9: help you with the change, or if you let God
- 6:39Speaker 9: just produce the change, the change in you would be amazing.
- 6:43Speaker 9: If you've been listening to me, especially out in La
- 6:46Speaker 9: since I was on the radio since two thousand, can't
- 6:49Speaker 9: you hear the change? I'm flat out telling you that
- 6:54Speaker 9: a change has come. But I had to pray for
- 6:57Speaker 9: the change because I couldn't make the change on my own.
- 7:01Speaker 9: And then after you pray for the change, you gotta
- 7:03Speaker 9: work towards your trade change. You know, there's faith without
- 7:06Speaker 9: works is dead. Everybody wants something from God. Always want
- 7:10Speaker 9: to talk to God about something, But then man, ain't
- 7:13Speaker 9: ain't don't, don't want to do nothing about it. Faith
- 7:17Speaker 9: without works is dead. You can't do it that way, man,
- 7:20Speaker 9: It just does not happen. So after you then prayed
- 7:24Speaker 9: to God about it, what you got to do then
- 7:27Speaker 9: is you got to turn around and go, hey, man,
- 7:29Speaker 9: all right, now, what is it? I got to do.
- 7:32Speaker 9: You know, you got to do something to bring it about.
- 7:36Speaker 9: So after you pray for it, work for it, and
- 7:39Speaker 9: do something today about it. Stop procrastinating. Don't procrastinate, folks.
- 7:45Speaker 9: The change can start today. Man, I want to change?
- 7:48Speaker 9: How about today?
- 7:51Speaker 2: You know?
- 7:51Speaker 9: Then you see them saying people, Man, I want to change,
- 7:54Speaker 9: that's next week. How about today? I see people years later? Man,
- 7:58Speaker 9: I steal in this situation. Man, I'm gonna do something.
- 8:02Speaker 9: How about today? Today is a good day. There's nothing
- 8:06Speaker 9: stopping you from changing today, nothing except you. You can
- 8:12Speaker 9: begin the process of change immediately. And change is growth, y'all.
- 8:16Speaker 9: And ain't no growth without changing. It's a simple thing.
- 8:20Speaker 9: And I'm talking to you in broad strokes because everybody
- 8:23Speaker 9: got something about them they need to change. That's why
- 8:25Speaker 9: I'm not specifically talking about anything. I got some things
- 8:30Speaker 9: in meediate need to change so I can grow further.
- 8:34Speaker 9: Everybody has something about them that they need to change
- 8:38Speaker 9: in order to grow further and then go further. Now,
- 8:42Speaker 9: what's stopping you is you won't start to change today.
- 8:45Speaker 9: Don't hesitate. Make that change. And then I want you
- 8:49Speaker 9: to watch something. When you change, Watch the difference in you.
- 8:53Speaker 9: Notice the difference in you. Feel the difference in you,
- 8:57Speaker 9: and guess what you gonna be different? If you watching
- 9:01Speaker 9: for the change. If you feeling the change, then guess
- 9:04Speaker 9: what you gonna be different? Man, Watch for the difference,
- 9:07Speaker 9: feel the difference, you will be different. If you sick
- 9:10Speaker 9: and tired of your situation, folks, you can change that.
- 9:14Speaker 9: But the change is in you. It's a simple decision
- 9:17Speaker 9: you had to make. I'm gonna change. The change is
- 9:19Speaker 9: up to you. You can decide today if you want
- 9:23Speaker 9: to change, you want to be different. If you're sitting
- 9:25Speaker 9: behind the wall, I love speaking to the brothers and
- 9:28Speaker 9: sisters behind the wall. If you behind the wall, man,
- 9:30Speaker 9: and you sick and tired of being behind the wall, man, why.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Don't you change? You have thought about that change? Man?
- 9:36Speaker 9: If I get back out there, I'm gonna just do
- 9:38Speaker 9: the same thing. Stop saying that. Stop breathing that negativity
- 9:41Speaker 9: into your life. Decide today that you want to change.
- 9:44Speaker 9: You can do it. Everybody can change. If you don't
- 9:47Speaker 9: know how to change, pray for it, man, ask God
- 9:50Speaker 9: to help you with the change. Or you get some movement,
- 9:52Speaker 9: then partner, you get a whole lot of movement, Then
- 9:55Speaker 9: all right, that's right.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 9:59Speaker 7: Morning show.
- 10:01Speaker 9: Ladies are just let me have your attention please. We
- 10:05Speaker 9: are starting this in the tone of the quiet storm,

- 10:37Speaker 9: a couple of minutes. That's all just to be a
- 10:40Speaker 9: difference maker. But can I say this in my quiet
- 10:43Speaker 9: stone voice, as we go through this quiet storm, we
- 10:48Speaker 9: are settled and easy. We are taken care of. We
- 10:51Speaker 9: are tucked under the wings. All is good Isaaiah fifty

- 12:42Speaker 10: take all your problem make him joke because you said
- 12:45Speaker 10: something yesterday. It really made me start thinking about it
- 12:48Speaker 10: all day yesterday. But you said, we always doing better
- 12:50Speaker 10: than all I hated and you hate hated doing better
- 12:53Speaker 10: than you. And that's that's that's where you come up
- 12:56Speaker 10: with that concept because it's true.
- 12:58Speaker 9: I just learned it, because I just learned. Man, I
- 13:01Speaker 9: don't know where I got it from. I don't know
- 13:03Speaker 9: if I read I heard somebody saying. I don't know,
- 13:05Speaker 9: but I just I take stuff to make sense to
- 13:07Speaker 9: me and put it in my repertoire. That's how you learn.
- 13:09Speaker 9: You learn from other people. Sometimes you can learn from
- 13:12Speaker 9: other people's mistakes. You ain't got to make all of

- 13:15Speaker 2: Learn from other people. Sit back and watch. Yeah, you ain't.

- 21:33Speaker 4: have three more months of pay on my separation deal
- 21:37Speaker 4: at work, and I'm hoping to find a new job
- 21:40Speaker 4: before then. So my question is should I tell my
- 21:42Speaker 4: wife I got fired now or wait to see if
- 21:45Speaker 4: I can get a new job.
- 21:48Speaker 9: Well, ain't no need to stress in her how you know,

- 21:56Speaker 9: if I was what's his name, Lou Lou, if I
- 21:58Speaker 9: were you, I would take the old woe's me approach
- 22:02Speaker 9: away from this. You got you got three months, seventh
- 22:07Speaker 9: page salary that's gonna last you for ninety days. Okay,
- 22:11Speaker 9: So you covered that part. Ain't no need distressing your girl, Like,

- 22:22Speaker 2: some modos man.
- 22:23Speaker 9: You just got to walk up the hall, Louke, go

- 22:38Speaker 9: to quit smoking weed because you got.
- 22:41Speaker 2: To pass these drug tests.
- 22:43Speaker 9: Now, lou If you like taking stuff from the job

- 22:49Speaker 9: the cameras.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Was posted, lou you gonna have to stop stealing.
- 22:55Speaker 9: Look, these are all the reasons you can't get along
- 22:59Speaker 9: with coworkers down on your job. You're gonna have to
- 23:01Speaker 9: stop slapping the taste out of people's mouth just because you.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Like to say I slap taste out your mouth and
- 23:07Speaker 2: then do it.
- 23:08Speaker 9: So Louke, these are three major reasons that can get
- 23:11Speaker 9: you fired and prevent you from getting high. Ain't nobody
- 23:14Speaker 9: hind nobody to whooping other employees asss. Ain't nobody hind

- 24:49Speaker 2: What? Help?
- 24:50Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 24:51Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 24:53Speaker 2: What? Yeah, she's married.
- 24:57Speaker 9: If you saw him concert somewhere outside and you think
- 25:02Speaker 9: he's with another one, but you lost him in the crowd.
- 25:04Speaker 9: He say he don't owe you nothing. He just told
- 25:08Speaker 9: you judge then told her told me best. Don't let
- 25:11Speaker 9: a man have to tell you twice.

- 29:30Speaker 1: OJ isn't afraid to speak his mind on social media.
- 29:33Speaker 4: We all know that he recently posted a message saying, quote,
- 29:37Speaker 4: this morning, I got up and I found myself watching
- 29:39Speaker 4: Meet the Press. They had Vivika Ramaswami on. And now,
- 29:45Speaker 4: just like the debates, the Republican debates, I said, hey,
- 29:48Speaker 4: this guy's onto something. OJ has a VP suggestion too,
- 29:54Speaker 4: So you ready for this one? He says, if he
- 29:57Speaker 4: got himself an experienced person to run with him. Experienced
- 30:00Speaker 4: person I would say, like Nikki Haley, somebody that knows
- 30:04Speaker 4: foreign affairs this guy would have a chance.
- 30:07Speaker 1: I bet so. There you go.
- 30:09Speaker 4: He's he's liking right now, Vivid Rama Swamiday.
- 30:18Speaker 2: What ho he is? He's he's actually worse than Donald Trump.

- 30:31Speaker 9: watched the debate after this. I watched the Republican debate.
- 30:35Speaker 9: He actually stood up and said, if I become president,
- 30:40Speaker 9: the first thing I'm going to do is pardon Donald Trump.
- 30:44Speaker 9: Right man, this is a dangerous just do right here, man?
- 30:51Speaker 1: Can I ask you why?
- 30:52Speaker 2: Why do we care what OJ think? Though?
- 30:55Speaker 9: I just I'm kind of wrapped my mind around here
- 30:57Speaker 9: is the bigger question. I have a bigger question. I
- 31:00Speaker 9: do OJ think we care? When he posted that he
- 31:08Speaker 9: didn't hear in the back of his mind, he didn't
- 31:11Speaker 9: hear do anybody give a damn?
- 31:15Speaker 1: Didn't he here?
- 31:16Speaker 9: Who gives a flying He didn't hear none of that.
- 31:21Speaker 2: He didn't hear. Please please, But.

- 31:43Speaker 9: no voice in his head. He just uped at by hisself.
- 31:48Speaker 9: OJ is one of them people, like somebody told this
- 31:50Speaker 9: stupid dude, I know, she said Lisa Nicholson, the motivational speaker,
- 31:55Speaker 9: She got to talking to a friend of mine and
- 31:57Speaker 9: was just looking at him just as confused. And when
- 31:59Speaker 9: he got through talking, she said, you know what, you
- 32:02Speaker 9: don't need to go up in your mind no more
- 32:04Speaker 9: by yourself.
- 32:05Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 32:09Speaker 9: Which you should just take somebody with you so when
- 32:12Speaker 9: you come back out your mind. Somebody then told you
- 32:15Speaker 9: don't bring that out of that, right And that's that's
- 32:19Speaker 9: OJ man OJ. It's like he got mad at this
- 32:22Speaker 9: football player who received a lighter sentence than he did
- 32:26Speaker 9: for the same crime he committed when he stole. He said,
- 32:30Speaker 9: I don't understand the fairness of the justice system. I
- 32:33Speaker 9: got all these years and we did the same thing.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Well, o J.
- 32:38Speaker 2: A lot of people still mad. But you killing them people?
- 32:43Speaker 1: Yeah, you got away with the omahamicide. You don't need
- 32:45Speaker 1: to question the justice system.
- 32:47Speaker 9: There's a lot of people still a little upset about
- 32:51Speaker 9: this right here. And I just I don't know if
- 32:55Speaker 9: you notice that or not. You know, your inability to
- 32:57Speaker 9: get on golf courses and stuff, like that. I don't
- 32:59Speaker 9: know if you've been paying attention to it.
- 33:01Speaker 1: But nobody likes.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Matter of fact, right, that dog?
- 33:09Speaker 1: If I vote.
- 33:10Speaker 10: If I vote and I find out, oh J didn't
- 33:13Speaker 10: voted the way I voted, give my ballet back.
- 33:15Speaker 2: I'm changing bad.
- 33:16Speaker 10: You're my ballot back, I mean my ballot. Oh J
- 33:20Speaker 10: voted the same way. So I did something stupid.
- 33:23Speaker 2: What's his name though, again, Shirley Vivid.
- 33:26Speaker 1: His name is Vivid Ramaswami.
- 33:29Speaker 2: He is the worst man. That candidate. That dude is
- 33:33Speaker 2: dangerous man.
- 33:35Speaker 9: He is very, very dangerous.
- 33:39Speaker 7: He's not gonna get the number.

- 34:10Speaker 1: Well, some media users don't believe that that.
- 34:13Speaker 4: Trump is an inch taller and weighs the same as
- 34:15Speaker 4: Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, who is six two and
- 34:19Speaker 4: weighs two hundred and fifteen pounds.
- 34:22Speaker 1: So, Steve, you're into fitness.
- 34:23Speaker 4: You're sixty three or something, right, six ' two six two?
- 34:28Speaker 1: What do you think you're sixteen?
- 34:31Speaker 2: Donald Trump is sixty three. He is two fifteen though. Huh.
- 34:34Speaker 9: But if you think his fat asses two fifty, you
- 34:38Speaker 9: think that big loose, slatchy ass dude is two fifteen heavy?
- 34:44Speaker 2: What do you know about fitness?
- 34:49Speaker 9: Donald Trump weighed the same thing as Lamar Jackson?
- 34:53Speaker 1: What the same? The same? Seven an inch taller?
- 35:00Speaker 2: How old is Trump? And you.
- 35:09Speaker 13: Know what?
- 35:10Speaker 11: He's no fat on Lamar jack Yeah.

- 35:25Speaker 9: He got more fast, he got more face fat on him.
- 35:29Speaker 9: Then Lamar got on his body.
- 35:31Speaker 1: His entire body.
- 35:32Speaker 7: Wow, don't forget.
- 35:33Speaker 2: He loved McDonald's.

- 51:58Speaker 1: It's not a game with him about Sylvia going to
- 52:01Speaker 1: this what you said?
- 52:02Speaker 2: No, no, not that part the other party. No, no,
- 52:04Speaker 2: after that though, yeah, after that.
- 52:08Speaker 4: It was.

- 52:15Speaker 12: No games.

- 53:42Speaker 4: read this one right here, right now, and you never know,
- 53:45Speaker 4: it could be yours.
- 53:46Speaker 2: It could be yours.
- 53:47Speaker 11: Buckle up and hold on tight, beguide it for it
- 53:49Speaker 11: you here it is Strawberry Letter.
- 53:51Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew. Subject he prefers teasing over pleasing.
- 53:56Speaker 4: Dear Stephen Shirley, I have a husband and a boyfriend
- 54:00Speaker 4: that is there for me in ways that my husband
- 54:03Speaker 4: is not. My husband is a lot bigger than he
- 54:05Speaker 4: was when we got married eight years ago, so he's
- 54:08Speaker 4: not able to perform in the bedroom. I asked him
- 54:12Speaker 4: for a hall pass a year ago, and I've been
- 54:14Speaker 4: messing with the man on the side since then. I've
- 54:17Speaker 4: run into an issue with my boyfriend, though. It seems
- 54:21Speaker 4: that he has caught feelings for me, so I'm going
- 54:23Speaker 4: to have to cut him loose. Our setup was simple.
- 54:26Speaker 4: We don't talk about personal stuff when we link up
- 54:29Speaker 4: in hotel rooms. He gets a party started and we
- 54:31Speaker 4: leave as soon as the party is over. We don't
- 54:34Speaker 4: talk unless we're texting to set up a time to
- 54:36Speaker 4: meet up. So he called me at work last week
- 54:40Speaker 4: and said he likes me a lot and wants to
- 54:42Speaker 4: slow things down because he can sense that I'm very
- 54:45Speaker 4: tense when we're intimate. I told him it's my conscience
- 54:49Speaker 4: because I'm cheating on my husband. He got a room
- 54:52Speaker 4: for us later that day, and he brought hot wings
- 54:55Speaker 4: and Hennessy and expected me to sit on the hotel
- 54:58Speaker 4: balcony and talk to him. I got mad and left
- 55:01Speaker 4: a few days later, we met up again and he
- 55:04Speaker 4: was all about the pregame and teasing me and said
- 55:07Speaker 4: that he was devoting that day to sensual touch. That
- 55:11Speaker 4: was a final straw for me, so I told him
- 55:13Speaker 4: I was going to the bar and I left. I
- 55:16Speaker 4: texted him and told him I've got a husband for
- 55:18Speaker 4: all of the mushy stuff, so he needs to be
- 55:21Speaker 4: ready for action when we link up. When he and
- 55:25Speaker 4: I link up, I don't feel bad that he's falling
- 55:27Speaker 4: for me because he knew what was up when we
- 55:31Speaker 4: started this fling. Our setup worked for months, The sex
- 55:34Speaker 4: was great and he was cool. It's hard to find
- 55:36Speaker 4: a good side dude.
- 55:38Speaker 2: What should I do?
- 55:39Speaker 1: Keep him or not? You're kidding right.
- 55:42Speaker 8: With this letter.
- 55:45Speaker 4: You do know this letter is crazy and this whole
- 55:50Speaker 4: situation which your side piece is dangerous if nothing else.
- 55:53Speaker 4: Although you didn't say it directly, I am assuming your
- 55:56Speaker 4: husband said yes when.
- 55:58Speaker 1: You asked him for a hall pass. I can't believe
- 56:01Speaker 1: he said that.
- 56:02Speaker 4: No matter how big you say he's gotten and how
- 56:06Speaker 4: you know, terrible or whatever, how much he can't perform
- 56:08Speaker 4: in the bedroom. How would you like it if your
- 56:10Speaker 4: husband had a side piece? Because you seem like I
- 56:14Speaker 4: don't know, you don't care what he does. You have
- 56:17Speaker 4: to leave your side, dude, and stay gone. That's the
- 56:20Speaker 4: only solution here. I mean, well, you know, if you
- 56:23Speaker 4: still want your marriage, this man has caught feelings for
- 56:27Speaker 4: you and he's coming for you. I know you told
- 56:30Speaker 4: him what it is in the beginning, but he's not
- 56:32Speaker 4: trying to hear you. He wants what he wants. Calling
- 56:34Speaker 4: you at work. That's really bold, that is a really
- 56:37Speaker 4: bold move. But at least he didn't go up to
- 56:40Speaker 4: your job in person, which would have been worse. You
- 56:43Speaker 4: just got to break it up with this guy. I mean,
- 56:45Speaker 4: change your number, don't answer your phone calls from him,
- 56:48Speaker 4: anything like that.
- 56:49Speaker 1: Have you tried working on your marriage? How about that?
- 56:52Speaker 4: How about that helping your husband, like helping him lose weight,
- 56:55Speaker 4: eat better, perform better. You sound like you've given up
- 56:58Speaker 4: in every way. And if that's the case, why stay
- 57:01Speaker 4: married and continue to cheat? I don't get this, Steve, Surely.
- 57:10Speaker 2: I must admit I admire your attempts to help people.
- 57:17Speaker 2: I'm here to let you know.
- 57:19Speaker 9: It's not my job. You can't help everybody. Everybody don't
- 57:24Speaker 9: need help. Some people just need to be told.
- 57:26Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, I mean, you can't listen to this,
- 57:33Speaker 2: damn letter. I'm not out. I'm not finna play with you. Okay,
- 57:37Speaker 2: here we go. I have a husband and a boyfriend
- 57:43Speaker 2: right here, right here, right off the dribble. This will
- 57:48Speaker 2: bs right here.
- 57:50Speaker 8: Right here.
- 57:50Speaker 9: This is finn be garbage all the way down, because
- 57:53Speaker 9: now it's no redeeming. There's nothing in this letter can
- 57:57Speaker 9: get fixed now because you have a husband and a boyfriend.
- 58:04Speaker 2: So now what you want us to do?
- 58:06Speaker 9: Because your solution has been to add to your husband
- 58:11Speaker 9: a boyfriend.
- 58:12Speaker 2: So you've made this decision. What you're writing us for?
- 58:17Speaker 2: All right?
- 58:18Speaker 9: That is there for me in ways that my husband
- 58:20Speaker 9: is not. My husband is a lot bigger than he
- 58:22Speaker 9: was when we got married eight years ago. He's not
- 58:24Speaker 9: able to perform in the bedroom.
- 58:26Speaker 2: All right. Let's stop right here, ladies. If this letter was.
- 58:31Speaker 9: Written the other way around, if some man was writing
- 58:36Speaker 9: in talking about he got a chick on his side
- 58:39Speaker 9: because his wife is bigger.
- 58:41Speaker 2: Than she was when they got married right there.
- 58:46Speaker 9: Do you know the venom y'all would be spitting on
- 58:49Speaker 9: this man right now, So let's spit the same venom
- 58:53Speaker 9: on her. A big boy that got big now he
- 58:57Speaker 9: can't do what he used to do, no more so
- 59:00Speaker 9: now you've got somebody that did. But hehit the crazy
- 59:02Speaker 9: part though, so he's not able to perform in the bedroom.
- 59:05Speaker 9: I asked him for a hall pass a year ago,
- 59:08Speaker 9: and I've been messing with the man on the side
- 59:11Speaker 9: since then. Excuse me, I don't care how fat my
- 59:16Speaker 9: ass getting. Come in, come in and ask for a
- 59:22Speaker 9: hall pass.
- 59:23Speaker 2: Right You're how.
- 59:26Speaker 9: Crowded it hall gonna be? You know how crowded this
- 59:33Speaker 9: damn hall gonna be. If you come in here and
- 59:35Speaker 9: ask me for a hall pass. You know how many
- 59:39Speaker 9: hell's gonna be out here in this hall with me.
- 59:42Speaker 9: Don't come in here starting this right here anyway, man,
- 59:48Speaker 9: this is this letter, go is go to hell right
- 59:50Speaker 9: out of there because now you know you done ran
- 59:52Speaker 9: into an issue with your side piece. We're gonna talk
- 59:54Speaker 9: about it when I come back. But there's no I
- 59:57Speaker 9: have no help for her, but I've got something.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: What this I ask were doing?
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: All right, Steve, we'll have part two of your response
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: Strawberry letter subject is he prefers teasing over pleasing, and
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: we'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 1:00:19Speaker 7: Morning show all right, Steve.
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: Come on, let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: I know it's a mess. He prefers teasing over pleasing.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: All right, we're back to this little, ridiculous little letter
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: we got here.
- 1:00:32Speaker 9: Some little lady that wrote in us talking about she
- 1:00:35Speaker 9: got a husband and a boyfriend, and he's there for her. Hunways,
- 1:00:39Speaker 9: her husband can't be because her husband is a lot
- 1:00:42Speaker 9: bigger than he was when we got married eight years ago.
- 1:00:45Speaker 9: So he's not able to perform in the bedroom both.
- 1:00:49Speaker 9: Like I said before, if you reverse this right here,
- 1:00:52Speaker 9: do you know how you all would be hating this
- 1:00:53Speaker 9: man right now? If a man rode in and said
- 1:00:56Speaker 9: his wife is bigger than she was when they got married,
- 1:00:59Speaker 9: that's why he got a eye piece.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: You know the hatred y'all would have for him.
- 1:01:02Speaker 9: Let's develop the same hatred for her, because big boy
- 1:01:06Speaker 9: went up there and got on swollen, got up in there,
- 1:01:08Speaker 9: and you know, you know he'd be down at Walmart
- 1:01:11Speaker 9: the little debbie's gone special, you know where you get
- 1:01:14Speaker 9: the two boxes for four dollars, Them little debbies.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: Boy, whoo, the look that old meal them.
- 1:01:21Speaker 9: O'mill debbies, little debbies tell you yeah, they better than
- 1:01:26Speaker 9: moon piles. Boy them damn little Debbie's delicious, And that's
- 1:01:31Speaker 9: what the big boy got his hands on, all them
- 1:01:33Speaker 9: damn little debbiees and swollen his ass up. So you
- 1:01:37Speaker 9: asked him for a hall pass a year ago, and
- 1:01:39Speaker 9: you've been messing with the man on the side since then.
- 1:01:43Speaker 9: You asked your husband for a hall pass? How fat
- 1:01:46Speaker 9: he done got?
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: Then?
- 1:01:48Speaker 9: He didn't get up and do nothing about this here?
- 1:01:51Speaker 9: Because is he bed Brandon? Is he on six hundred
- 1:01:55Speaker 9: pounds my six hundred pound life. He must be on
- 1:01:58Speaker 9: that because it's no wait, you coming in here ask
- 1:02:01Speaker 9: me because by the time I mashed my ass up
- 1:02:03Speaker 9: out there recliner that I'm sitting here, you and whoever
- 1:02:07Speaker 9: little hall past dude is. And like I said before,
- 1:02:10Speaker 9: oh we're doing hall passes now, you know how crowded
- 1:02:12Speaker 9: this hall. Anyway, she got an issue now because the
- 1:02:19Speaker 9: has run into an issue with my boyfriend though it
- 1:02:21Speaker 9: seems like he don't call feelings for me, so I'm
- 1:02:24Speaker 9: gonna have to cut him loose. I set up with
- 1:02:26Speaker 9: simple we don't talk about personal stuff when we link
- 1:02:29Speaker 9: up in the hotel rooms. He gets the party started
- 1:02:32Speaker 9: and leave as soon as the party is over. We
- 1:02:35Speaker 9: don't talk unless we're texting to set up a time
- 1:02:38Speaker 9: to meet. So he called me at work last week
- 1:02:41Speaker 9: and said he likes me a lot and he wants
- 1:02:43Speaker 9: to slow things down because he can sense that I'm
- 1:02:46Speaker 9: very tense when we are intimate.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: Okay, now, listen to this line.
- 1:02:51Speaker 9: I told him it's my conscious because I'm cheating on
- 1:02:54Speaker 9: my husband for a year. You member what this dude
- 1:02:59Speaker 9: for a year, and now you want to talk about
- 1:03:01Speaker 9: your damn conscious. You showed me overcoming your conscious a lot.
- 1:03:05Speaker 9: If you've been cheating for a year and you're trying
- 1:03:08Speaker 9: to tell us that because you thinking about you cheating
- 1:03:11Speaker 9: on your husband. But you asked your husband could you cheat?
- 1:03:18Speaker 9: You asked for a hall past.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: He gave it to you.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the crazy part too.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: He had to have given it to you.
- 1:03:27Speaker 9: Yeah, you're not coming to me and ask me for
- 1:03:29Speaker 9: no damn hall pass. See people that know me, you
- 1:03:32Speaker 9: got to listen to my radio show. Then you know
- 1:03:34Speaker 9: half this stuff you hear about me can't be true.
- 1:03:37Speaker 9: Let me tell you something. If you just know me,
- 1:03:41Speaker 9: I'm I'm telling you right now, man, it's no way
- 1:03:45Speaker 9: you know me and know that I'm lying for this here,
- 1:03:48Speaker 9: and this ain't no other story.
- 1:03:50Speaker 15: So now.
- 1:03:52Speaker 9: And you told him he was a little conscious because
- 1:03:54Speaker 9: you cheating on your husband. He got a room for us.
- 1:03:57Speaker 9: Later that day, he bought hot winds in Hennessy. Lord, God,
- 1:04:05Speaker 9: come on in Hennison. That ain't no damn combination. Hot
- 1:04:11Speaker 9: wings in Hennessy. When you drink the hot wings, you
- 1:04:14Speaker 9: don't wash hot wings down with Hennyson.
- 1:04:20Speaker 13: What is it?
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: What is y'all's breath made out of?
- 1:04:24Speaker 9: If you're washing down your hot wings with Hennessy hauling vegetable?
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: Because that is not the coming.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: That's just burn on bird right there.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: You can't, It's no way.
- 1:04:38Speaker 9: So he bought hot wings in Hennessy and expected me
- 1:04:41Speaker 9: to sit on the hotel balcony and talk to him.
- 1:04:44Speaker 9: I got mad and left a few days later we
- 1:04:47Speaker 9: met up again. You know, for you to get mad,
- 1:04:49Speaker 9: it show don't take you long to get back. And
- 1:04:52Speaker 9: you built this man for a whole year. And we
- 1:04:56Speaker 9: met up again, and he was all about the pregame
- 1:04:58Speaker 9: and teasing me and say he was devoting that day
- 1:05:01Speaker 9: to sensual touch.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: That was the final straw for me. So I told
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: him I was going to the bar and I left.
- 1:05:09Speaker 9: I text him and told him I got a husband
- 1:05:11Speaker 9: for all that mushy stuff, so he needs to be
- 1:05:14Speaker 9: ready for action when he and I link up.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: See that's a key word. I got a husband for
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: all that mushy stuff. I mustn't wait for your husband.
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: She didn't say.
- 1:05:28Speaker 9: Well, she just said she got a husband for all
- 1:05:30Speaker 9: that mushy stuff. Y'O asked him, gained.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: So much weight? Your ass is mushy?
- 1:05:37Speaker 9: She said, yeah, he might be on that TV show
- 1:05:40Speaker 9: My six hundred pound Life, see mushy.
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: Though, all she said was my husband is a lot
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: bigger than he was when we got married eight years ago.
- 1:05:48Speaker 9: That's all she Yeah, but she said a lot bigger.
- 1:05:51Speaker 9: And then she said, I got a husband for all
- 1:05:53Speaker 9: that mushy stuff. How big this boy than got? That
- 1:05:57Speaker 9: boy is just over there now, he just loose. I
- 1:05:59Speaker 9: don't feel bad that he's falling from me because he
- 1:06:02Speaker 9: knew what was up when we started our flee. I
- 1:06:05Speaker 9: set up work for months of work for months. The
- 1:06:07Speaker 9: sex was great and he was cool. It's hard to
- 1:06:10Speaker 9: find a good side, dude.
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: What should I do? Keep him orknot? Lady, We don't
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: give a damn what.
- 1:06:17Speaker 7: Because she is.
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: I don't give a damn what you do.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: All right, you post your comments.

- 1:07:40Speaker 10: Eastern Michigan Norfolk State versus Virginia State.
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: Rambling in Hampton. That's a game I want to see. Now.
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: I don't know about this one. This is Tennessee State
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: taking on Notre Dame for your first game. That is
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: gonna be a.
- 1:07:58Speaker 13: I don't know.
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: That can't be our first. We can't do that one. First.
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: We got Southern taking on Alabama State. Might as well
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: go and get it out the way.
- 1:08:10Speaker 9: I mean, you know, it's good for HBCUs to play
- 1:08:13Speaker 9: these Division one schools because first of all the revenue
- 1:08:16Speaker 9: that it generates, but also it also exposes some of
- 1:08:20Speaker 9: the real talent that these hbc used because there's sports
- 1:08:23Speaker 9: over there that can play. Now we know that the
- 1:08:26Speaker 9: big schools got the money and the image and likeness
- 1:08:29Speaker 9: deals and all this. Now they can attract the best
- 1:08:33Speaker 9: of the best. And you can't get mad at these
- 1:08:36Speaker 9: young cats for going to these schools because now they
- 1:08:39Speaker 9: offer them all, you know, big opportunities, more visual, especially
- 1:08:42Speaker 9: if they're trying to play on Sundays. You know, you
- 1:08:45Speaker 9: want to go where you can get some playing time
- 1:08:47Speaker 9: but also get some notoriety, and you want different facilities.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: So I understand them going to play with the Division
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: one's going to be, like you said, an athlete and.
- 1:08:58Speaker 9: Division one school. Yeah, there's some Division one school with
- 1:09:01Speaker 9: some bad boys in it. Now, m some great deal
- 1:09:04Speaker 9: has come out in hbc school.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: They get paid for college endorsements.
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: Now, yeah, they get these nil deals, which is really great.
- 1:09:11Speaker 10: I mean for you to be out in your city,
- 1:09:14Speaker 10: in your town and you get a contract to represent
- 1:09:16Speaker 10: a dealership in your company. They wasn't doing that for
- 1:09:19Speaker 10: HBCU players players, but prayer of you didn't have scholarships
- 1:09:22Speaker 10: for football team. At one point in time when I
- 1:09:24Speaker 10: was there, they didn't even have scholarships for football players.
- 1:09:27Speaker 10: So now they getting them scholarships. I mean, I'm just
- 1:09:29Speaker 10: proud to see some HBCU football. Though their game be intense,
- 1:09:32Speaker 10: this is gonna be a good weekend for football. Off
- 1:09:34Speaker 10: we're back we ain't.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: We ain't got to worry about coin hole no more.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: We ain't got to do none of this no more.
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: We got we got games on hitting the content.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: All right, Junior, thank you well?
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:09:46Speaker 4: Coming up next, Steve, a husband needs some advice from
- 1:09:50Speaker 4: you because his wife wants him to She's suggesting that
- 1:09:54Speaker 4: he take his father in law to football games.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: So we'll talk about that right after this.
- 1:09:59Speaker 7: You're listening Morning show.
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: All right, So this is from Paul on Steve Harvey FM. Steve.
- 1:10:08Speaker 4: He says, Uh, this season, I've got tickets to the
- 1:10:11Speaker 4: football games. I've got season tickets. As a matter of fact,
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: my wife has no interest in going this season to
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: take the extra seat. She strongly suggested that I bring
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: along her dad. I'm not feeling it. My father in
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: law and I don't get along. He's never treated me
- 1:10:30Speaker 4: with any kind of respect and is always going in
- 1:10:32Speaker 4: on me about my job rather than learning how to
- 1:10:35Speaker 4: fix a car. Yet I'm the one who can afford
- 1:10:38Speaker 4: season tickets. I get the feeling that this is something
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: she's already promised her dad, and I'm not a fan.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: Morning Crew. What's the best way to handle this?
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: Hey, I ain't taking your daddy to the damn game.
- 1:10:51Speaker 9: You know your daddy don't really care for me, and
- 1:10:53Speaker 9: I'm not suit to spend my five hours on Sunday
- 1:10:56Speaker 9: down there with his head. I ain't taking your daddy
- 1:10:58Speaker 9: to the game. Be real hard to get his ass
- 1:11:01Speaker 9: in my car. I'm gonna tell you that right now.
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: That's the best way to handle it.
- 1:11:06Speaker 9: I'm gonna just tell you right now, I'm not taking
- 1:11:08Speaker 9: your daddy down to the game. I'm gonna take one
- 1:11:11Speaker 9: of my partners. You don't want to go, I'm gonna
- 1:11:13Speaker 9: take one of my partners with me so I can
- 1:11:14Speaker 9: have a good time. This is my Sunday, these my
- 1:11:18Speaker 9: season tickets.
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: I work.
- 1:11:19Speaker 9: Your father don't really care for me, and I understand that,
- 1:11:22Speaker 9: but I'm not gonna suck up to him on game day.
- 1:11:25Speaker 9: We can barbecue in the backyard, you know, but we're not.
- 1:11:28Speaker 9: We're not going to the game.
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: But we can't. And that's unfair of you to ask
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: me to the game. Really, you can get some fair.
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: It's unfair.
- 1:11:37Speaker 9: You know your daddy don't care for me, and I'm not.
- 1:11:40Speaker 9: I'm not finna drive down here and spend all this.
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: Time with him.
- 1:11:43Speaker 11: But he's the other way like full time, every thirty minute,
- 1:11:46Speaker 11: and now I've got to make sure he gets to
- 1:11:48Speaker 11: the bathroom.
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: It's a lot going on with you day, and we.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: Ain't got seats on the ground a bonding situation.
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: We don't need that men. Listen to me, lady, stop
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: trying to get your men in the bond with your daddy.
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: We don't ask get tat. Listen to me. We know
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: what we like each other. Damn there right away. We
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: ain't got to sit around to figure it out. Okay,
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: that's one thing about me and man. Once we cool,
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: we cool. But once we ain't cool, let's just stay
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: right here. Dog, it's all good. What about he respects
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: your father?
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: What about Tom? Just to one game?
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: No, we ain't gonna know where a game that's a
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: whole damn Sunday afternoon.
- 1:12:31Speaker 9: We got to drive, sit in traffic, get through the
- 1:12:34Speaker 9: parking lot, find our way to our seats.
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: Sit there. Then we got to lead a game. You know,
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: at a certain time.
- 1:12:43Speaker 9: He gotta go early, but we gotta leave early so
- 1:12:46Speaker 9: we so he don't get to stampede trample with his
- 1:12:49Speaker 9: old ass. No day, we got to walk to the
- 1:12:53Speaker 9: parking lot. Now by the time I get your daddy home.
- 1:12:56Speaker 9: I done thought about killing him full.
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: Time in the car.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: Be like if you if I did? Take not want
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: father in law?
- 1:13:05Speaker 9: Now you know to see your daddy don't like it?
- 1:13:07Speaker 9: You know you know you have a give him car
- 1:13:10Speaker 9: head you had you've done something better?
- 1:13:11Speaker 12: What you like?
- 1:13:12Speaker 4: What?
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: That's how he talks.
- 1:13:15Speaker 13: On?
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: What kind of job you has gotten?
- 1:13:19Speaker 4: Now?
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: What if my baby wanna go some go some more places?
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: What you're gonna do for? What's man? Get your ass out?
- 1:13:30Speaker 6: Father in law the car.
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: Ain't nobody doing that? Ain't nobody doing that? He can
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: have the tickets the weekends, I don't go. How about that?
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: I'm sorry?
- 1:13:41Speaker 4: I think we might have time for one more Steve.
- 1:13:44Speaker 4: This is from Sherry on Facebook. Sherry says, my birthday
- 1:13:47Speaker 4: is coming up in a few weeks, and typically my
- 1:13:49Speaker 4: sweet husband does his best to get a thoughtful gift
- 1:13:52Speaker 4: for me, but it's rarely what I really want or
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: would buy for myself. Should I just be proactive and
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: tell him exactly what to get me? Or do you
- 1:13:59Speaker 4: think gets better to let him do his best on
- 1:14:02Speaker 4: his own?
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: Yes?
- 1:14:04Speaker 9: Absolutely, y'all been married too long. Tell your man what

- 1:20:23Speaker 9: But I'm clear about that. And on judgment day when
- 1:20:26Speaker 9: I get up there, I am going to remind him.
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: Oh he knows.
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: You do know you made me?

- 1:23:35Speaker 4: the world or would you rather your credit card statements
- 1:23:38Speaker 4: be released to the world?
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: Which one?
- 1:23:43Speaker 9: Credit card statements? You're hating on me anyway so much? Yeah,
