Transcript
- 0:03[SPEAKER_00]: Now, dedication has an image of visual.
- 0:07[SPEAKER_00]: I think the notorious Mass Effect will pop up in the reason why I'm saying that is because not only did we, of course, break down the entire Drake ice map at so one, but more specifically, we got into the Supermax preview.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_00]: We got into the what did I miss preview?
- 0:23[SPEAKER_00]: We got into the phase first one dance type of track that was previewed, which a lot of people glossed over.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_00]: And my opinion that has the highest probability of going viral as far as when he puts it out as far as the high is probability to go viral on billboard more specifically.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_00]: But not only that, but we're about to get into the smiley freestyle.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_00]: But then you know what I'm saying?
- 0:46[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, do you want to look at the state of hip-hop?
- 0:47[SPEAKER_00]: Like, what's going on?
- 0:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yes ladies and gentlemen.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_00]: Smiley had his own preview on Iceman episode one and I ain't gonna cap to you It was nobody who could care less But to be fair to smiley to be fair to smiley because I want to sound like I'm just dunking on him I like to track I like the way he was rapping I like the overall Delivery I like to beat the beat was really hard.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_00]: I drank was gonna come over it at some point and just go crazy right pulse
- 1:20[SPEAKER_00]: But in general you get on saying like smiley the beat was so infectious and it was like a dark it was like a
- 1:28[SPEAKER_00]: a gritty type of beat, which is, you know, it's hard to really describe beats in a way if you haven't heard it.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_00]: But in general, it was very dark.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_00]: And the overall delivery by Smiley really showcases his uniqueness and the way that he uses vocal inflection.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not even trying to be funny.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_00]: Smiley uses vocal inflection in a very unique way.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_00]: Some would say that maybe he was in Atlanta looking for a torque out, but my father, you know what I'm saying?
- 1:56[SPEAKER_00]: So with that being said, Drake is ultimately putting his man on an OVO and I can't be mad at somebody's under your label.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_00]: I'll be doing any and everything to promote that person to become maybe even bigger than you or maybe that's the same level.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_00]: Cause you know, Drake gets a lot of flag for not putting people on, but everybody knows the weekend.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody knows part of next door.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody knows
- 2:20[SPEAKER_00]: Who else?
- 2:21[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that's two right there.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_00]: That's enough.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_00]: But let me keep going.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_00]: So you have the weekend.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, party next door.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_00]: Roy, Roy Woods.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_00]: Who else?
- 2:31[SPEAKER_00]: Smiley, this is just off the top.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_00]: Like obviously, I could look up the list.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_00]: But when it comes to OVO, I've always said, you know, a good amount of times, that Drake is collabing with you.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's to take your producer.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_00]: And on that may not be fair.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_00]: To the OVO camp, you know, I got to keep it eight more than ninety two of Drake is collabing with you.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_00]: Sort of like he did, Blackboard JB.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_00]: Now, take heed, this is producing all the Drake and little baby collapse.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: So Drake actually knows what he's doing when he's like clapping with certain people.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_00]: But at this point in time, you should already know that.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_00]: Get back in the smiley.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_00]: His freestyle is phenomenal, which is why I talk about
- 3:04[SPEAKER_00]: how Drake is like harbent on showcasing how lyrical smiley is because he's getting awesome bars.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_00]: I think the thing with smiley is his vocal inflection really throws people off.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_00]: People who swing the way they want to swing.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_00]: To me people do what you want to do.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_00]: I'm saying it's a free world.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_00]: But as far as what I prefer to listen to, I don't know if the vocal inflection that smiley has is really for me.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_00]: And I think a lot of people feel like that.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_00]: So now listen to the track.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_00]: In a hear smiley having certain tonality that feels like he's engaging in certain activities, then it's almost as if it throws us all the way off.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_00]: And now we don't want to listen to the track no more.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_00]: Call us ignorant, but that's exactly how people feel about smiley's music.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_00]: His bars are hard.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_00]: The hard hitting bars is unquestionable in my opinion.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: The delivery, the vocal inflection, is the biggest problem.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_00]: But that is what makes it most unique.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's more of a serious note.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if I want to go there though.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I'm not going to put a name on it.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: There's certain rappers who claim the fame that makes them unique is the same thing.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_00]: They ended up causing their demise.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_00]: Whether it's drugs,
- 4:20[SPEAKER_00]: but there's other things now, you can kind of see where I'm going with this.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_00]: I think for Smiley, his vocal inflection makes him so unique, but it's also detrimental to the people outside who aren't aware of his music in a hear it, and it's completely turn off because they can tell themselves, why would I want to hear this?
- 4:36[SPEAKER_00]: When I call this a to somebody else, a regular voice, delivering these bars, right?
- 4:46[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, that's basically it.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_00]: I think Somali is definitely getting the most alley use from the OVO camp.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'll take that back.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: Prior next door is living lavishly, but that's because
- 4:58[SPEAKER_00]: I don't really want to discredit smiley.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's a good artist.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_00]: But probably next door is another level because of his pinmanship and, you know, he wrote work for Rihanna, I believe.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_00]: He wrote a lot of other things, you know, for Drake.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: So, um, probably next door is definitely in most valuable member in OVO.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_00]: It used to be the weekend, but, you know, then the weekend didn't want to sign, and then now they have a forever beef.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_00]: So, uh, as far as a smiley, um, I think his bars are fire.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_00]: But he may just have to be a writer for Drake.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: I ain't going to cap to you because the delivery decided I don't want to keep being a dead horse.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_00]: I get the point, right?
- 5:33[SPEAKER_00]: So, Smiley is getting a lot of aloeops.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_00]: He's not getting as much as part of the next door, but, you know, part of this door, I think his pen may be even better than a lot of people in the music game.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_00]: Smiley.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_00]: Hopefully at some point he capitalizes off of one of these alley use for Drake because I think the biggest alley you peep capitalize off of was when him and Drake may over the top and then of course you heard all of the
- 6:00[SPEAKER_00]: comments on smiley's verse on over the top.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, one person say he was rapping like he was taken and that's all I'm going to say.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_00]: That's all I'm saying.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not trying to cancel.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_00]: So that being said, that's my official coverage of smiley's freestyle.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_00]: I do believe that he's one of the unique, sonic, sonnically infused rappers out here.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_00]: And at the end of the day, his rapping ability, I think is unquestionable.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: I think he really cares about the lyrics.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_00]: He's putting together, and that's the main thing.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_00]: But there's a lot of things to work on with him.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_00]: But shout out to Drake for giving him a shout out, once again, on the iceman episode one, which included his super max track, included what did I miss?
- 6:38[SPEAKER_00]: The anthem that's going to be released soon, included the face first track, which is a dance hall type of track, a one dance type of track of my opinion, that a lot of people just skipped over, right?
- 6:47[SPEAKER_00]: And then, of course, you had to freestyle by Smiley.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_00]: So with that being said, click my links here in my bio.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_00]: Let me know one of my social medias.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_00]: What do you think about my ice man coverage of my ice man episode one coverage in totality?
- 6:59[SPEAKER_00]: Not as concluded and the end of the day was your favorite part of the livestream.
