- 2:09Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show? Uh huh,
- 2:13Speaker 1: one more time, man, Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man,
- 2:18Speaker 1: Ain't God been good to me? Wow? But then again,
- 2:24Speaker 1: ain't He been good to you? Too? Though? I mean really, man,
- 2:27Speaker 1: think of all the blessings God has given you. Think
- 2:30Speaker 1: of all the things He's done for you, things that
- 2:32Speaker 1: you ask for, things that you didn't ask for, things
- 2:35Speaker 1: that you were expecting. Being all about all of the
- 2:38Speaker 1: unexpected blessings. Man, he just keeps coming with it, don't it.
- 2:42Speaker 1: You know what? That's some good news today, though, y'all.
- 2:45Speaker 1: You know in the in the in the face of
- 2:47Speaker 1: all the world being the way it is, the the
- 2:51Speaker 1: the evilness that's out there, it just it just seems
- 2:53Speaker 1: like that's all that's on the news sometimes. You know,
- 2:56Speaker 1: we got we got news of parents not really standing
- 2:59Speaker 1: up and parents, we got news stories of children turning
- 3:02Speaker 1: on their parents. You got, you got everything, the economy,
- 3:06Speaker 1: You've got places you thought you should be beautiful places
- 3:09Speaker 1: to go. Now they've got travel allerged. It's it's just
- 3:12Speaker 1: it's all little. It's it's all over. But the good
- 3:16Speaker 1: news is there's something that you can have in this
- 3:21Speaker 1: relationship with God that gives you a way to deal
- 3:27Speaker 1: with it all. And I'm not saying that it will
- 3:30Speaker 1: it will protect you from every single thing out that
- 3:32Speaker 1: is happening, because some things are going to happen to you.
- 3:36Speaker 1: You're going to be in an accident from time to time.
- 3:39Speaker 1: You're going to make a mistake and fall down from
- 3:42Speaker 1: time to time. But man, wouldn't it be incredible to
- 3:45Speaker 1: you for you if you understood that you had some
- 3:49Speaker 1: insurance in all of this that no matter what happened
- 3:53Speaker 1: to you, you know you will cover it. You know, look,
- 3:55Speaker 1: insurance companies as good as they are, you know, like
- 3:58Speaker 1: our friends and stay fall them all. Any other insurance company,
- 4:02Speaker 1: you know they do, they do some amazing things. Insurance
- 4:05Speaker 1: is a really really good thing to happen in the
- 4:07Speaker 1: event that something happens to you. You know, you may
- 4:10Speaker 1: not want to pay the premium, but guess what in
- 4:13Speaker 1: the event that something happens to you that insurance is
- 4:16Speaker 1: absolutely critical. Well, but guess what they cover certain things.
- 4:21Speaker 1: You could get life insurance, you can get auto insurance,
- 4:24Speaker 1: you can get accident insurance, you can get health insurance.
- 4:30Speaker 1: There is nothing that you can buy to safeguard you
- 4:35Speaker 1: against life's decisions. You know, if you make a mistake,
- 4:41Speaker 1: if you cheat, if you lie, if you if you
- 4:46Speaker 1: fall down and you can't seem to get it together
- 4:49Speaker 1: and you make a crazy decision about how you're gonna
- 4:52Speaker 1: go about securing an income that there are there are
- 4:56Speaker 1: no policies you can buy for that. You can't buy
- 4:59Speaker 1: a policy. See if you stop being the man you're
- 5:03Speaker 1: supposed to be, and and and and give up on
- 5:06Speaker 1: your children, you can't buy a policy. If something happens
- 5:10Speaker 1: as a mother and all of a sudden you're not
- 5:12Speaker 1: the mother you're supposed to be. But there is some
- 5:15Speaker 1: insurance coverage out there for you and that relationship that
- 5:20Speaker 1: you form with God, that friendship that you form with him,
- 5:24Speaker 1: that that alliance that you that that partnership, that that
- 5:29Speaker 1: prayer that you put in all the time. There is
- 5:32Speaker 1: an insurance policy that you have taken out when you
- 5:37Speaker 1: form a relationship with your heavenly Father, when you form
- 5:40Speaker 1: a friendship, when you form a bond that protects you,
- 5:46Speaker 1: that protects you when these things happen in the event
- 5:49Speaker 1: that they happen. Now here's a great thing about prayer.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Prayer can head off some stuff from happen. It really
- 5:57Speaker 1: really can. Prayer can prevent some things from happen. You know,
- 6:01Speaker 1: I'll give you an example in my life. Okay, here
- 6:04Speaker 1: we go, because sec is the best way for me
- 6:06Speaker 1: to do it. Because see, what I don't like to
- 6:08Speaker 1: do is is talk to people without letting them know, Hey,
- 6:10Speaker 1: look I'm in this hole with you. I feel where yet? Okay,
- 6:14Speaker 1: here we go. I was making some decisions a few
- 6:19Speaker 1: years ago because what I thought I was doing was
- 6:23Speaker 1: counterbalancing something that was happening in my life. You know,
- 6:27Speaker 1: I thought that since I wasn't happy or well for
- 6:32Speaker 1: whatever the reason, I thought I wasn't happy. If if I,
- 6:35Speaker 1: as wrong as I am, wanted to blame somebody else
- 6:38Speaker 1: from my unhappiness, that that's that's really if if I
- 6:42Speaker 1: make a bad decision because I'm thinking I'm unhappy with somebody,
- 6:46Speaker 1: hold a part. Two wrongs don't make it right. And
- 6:49Speaker 1: I make a decision to do something wrong, and now
- 6:52Speaker 1: the consequences come when I do something wrong. See then
- 6:57Speaker 1: that I already know as an intelligent thing thinking man,
- 7:00Speaker 1: as most of you are, that when you do something wrong,
- 7:04Speaker 1: that you know there is a consequence for that. I
- 7:07Speaker 1: teach that to my sons. When you do something wrong,
- 7:10Speaker 1: there as a consequence. So as an adult, I fully
- 7:12Speaker 1: understood the consequence. And so what I was doing was
- 7:16Speaker 1: I was making some decisions that was causing some consequences
- 7:20Speaker 1: in my life, that was delaying my happiness, delaying my progress,
- 7:25Speaker 1: causing my business not to go the way it could go,
- 7:28Speaker 1: so forth and so on. Well, what I started doing
- 7:32Speaker 1: was I took out this insurance policy called Prayer, and
- 7:35Speaker 1: I started putting it in my mix on a daily basis.
- 7:38Speaker 1: And then I started putting it in my mix, you know,
- 7:40Speaker 1: two three times a day. And then I found myself
- 7:43Speaker 1: using it all the time, and then I really started
- 7:47Speaker 1: putting it in when when I didn't need any help,
- 7:49Speaker 1: when I wasn't in trouble, I started putting insurance and
- 7:52Speaker 1: I started making deposits into the bank. I started paying
- 7:56Speaker 1: my premiums down. And prayer is like a premium, you
- 7:59Speaker 1: just pay into it. Then when situation started coming up,
- 8:04Speaker 1: now it's that prayer that I had put in that
- 8:07Speaker 1: in those premiums I had paid, it started preventing me
- 8:11Speaker 1: from making the decisions I was making in the past.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Thus I didn't have to the suffer the consequences. Thus
- 8:18Speaker 1: my businesses didn't have to be delayed in this progress.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Because I had put some payments on some premiums, I
- 8:25Speaker 1: had taken out an insurance policy. With my life, my
- 8:29Speaker 1: real life. I'm talking about your life where you make
- 8:32Speaker 1: your day to day decisions in I'm not talking about
- 8:35Speaker 1: see life insurance is only good if you die. God
- 8:39Speaker 1: has a policy that's avasable, that's available for you. Why
- 8:43Speaker 1: are you living? See in order foreign insurance policy to pay,
- 8:48Speaker 1: something bad got to happen. Now that may be some
- 8:51Speaker 1: others out there I don't know nothing about, but all
- 8:53Speaker 1: the ones I got my cor insurance. They only come
- 8:57Speaker 1: into play if I have an accident. I have an
- 9:00Speaker 1: accident insurance policy. Where something happens to me. I got accident,
- 9:04Speaker 1: I got I got my voices covered in case something
- 9:08Speaker 1: happened to that. I got that, but but I got
- 9:10Speaker 1: to not be able to talk to cash that one.
- 9:13Speaker 1: You understand everything. I got homeowners insurance. Don't nothing show
- 9:18Speaker 1: up on my homeowners insurance unless it's a flood or
- 9:22Speaker 1: fire of thel. Something bad got to happen for my
- 9:26Speaker 1: insurance to even make sense. When you take out the
- 9:30Speaker 1: policy with your with your heavenly father, when you pay
- 9:34Speaker 1: the premiums of prayer, and that's all it costs. Man,
- 9:37Speaker 1: it ain't you. Ain't gotta have no money for this policy.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I put into the policy. It pays me dividends and
- 9:46Speaker 1: benefits for living. Ain't nothing got to go wrong for
- 9:51Speaker 1: me to cash in on this policy. I use this
- 9:55Speaker 1: policy for good things. I give you an example. I
- 10:00Speaker 1: use this policy to ask God to watch over my
- 10:03Speaker 1: family when I travel. I use this policy to ask
- 10:07Speaker 1: God to bless my sons on their journey into manhood.
- 10:11Speaker 1: He covers me. I asked God to help make my
- 10:14Speaker 1: dreams come true. With this policy. He covers me. I
- 10:19Speaker 1: asked God for the desires of my heart. He give
- 10:22Speaker 1: them to me. I asked God to leading God and
- 10:25Speaker 1: protect me and keep me from making stupid decisions like
- 10:28Speaker 1: I used to make. He's all right, partner, Stop doing this,
- 10:33Speaker 1: stop doing that now. Guess what. I'm not perfect, Steve
- 10:36Speaker 1: Harvey long away from being perfect. I never claimed perfection. Man,
- 10:40Speaker 1: Listen to me, y'all, make the decisions to pay your
- 10:44Speaker 1: premiums in prayer, talk to your heavenly father, get you
- 10:47Speaker 1: some insurance in your life. And when you have little
- 10:50Speaker 1: things like that, keep on stepping. Man. God loves you. Man, Man,
- 10:54Speaker 1: I shall hope you talk to God to day because
- 10:56Speaker 1: guess what he show would like to hear from you.
- 10:58Speaker 1: That's for show. Here. Lets seen Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 17:48Speaker 1: have a good with the game. So glady over there,
- 17:51Speaker 1: because breath, he killed my flowers. You spoke to me

- 21:30Speaker 1: you ran out a room O home. All right, guys,
- 21:42Speaker 1: thank you, that was good, Thank you. Coming up next
- 21:45Speaker 1: is the nephew and run that prank back. You're listening
- 21:49Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the top
- 21:53Speaker 1: of the hour, We're gonna talk about Vince Carter and
- 21:55Speaker 1: the Sacramento Kings. They are working with Black Lives Matter
- 21:59Speaker 1: Now less ms Anne will be here with our national news.
- 22:02Speaker 1: But right now it is time for the nephew to
- 22:05Speaker 1: run that brank back. What you got? Your wife is
- 22:08Speaker 1: having a black baby lord this one again? Yeah, this
- 22:14Speaker 1: one is crazy. Right when you when you call wife,
- 22:16Speaker 1: you gotta call him with something that right there, your
- 22:20Speaker 1: wife is having a black running catch. Hello. Hello, I'm
- 22:25Speaker 1: looking for a William. How you doing. Listen? My name
- 22:30Speaker 1: is Simmons. I was I don't know how to uh
- 22:35Speaker 1: oh man. My wife and I evidently go to the
- 22:38Speaker 1: same um fertility specialist that you and your wife go to.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Dr Doctor. You are you familiar with doctor. I'm familiar
- 22:47Speaker 1: with doctor. But that's supposed to be confidential. Yeah, I'm
- 22:49Speaker 1: aware of that as well, sir. My wife is out
- 22:52Speaker 1: on business right now. She's she's gone for I won't
- 22:54Speaker 1: be back until Tuesday. But I got a call today,
- 22:58Speaker 1: very disturbing phone call, and wanted to you know, I
- 23:01Speaker 1: looked your number up. They did tell me what was
- 23:03Speaker 1: going on and kind of somebody told you my number,
- 23:07Speaker 1: you got you got my number from somebody. No, I
- 23:09Speaker 1: looked up your number. Here here, here, it is the
- 23:14Speaker 1: nutshell my wife and I evidently you and you and
- 23:17Speaker 1: your wife have been going through the same type of
- 23:18Speaker 1: problems of trying to get pregnant and so forth and
- 23:21Speaker 1: so on, and uh, for my understanding, your wife is
- 23:24Speaker 1: what four or five months pregnant. I'm not sure. Wait
- 23:29Speaker 1: a minute, my wife is exactly five months pregnant. But
- 23:31Speaker 1: I'm still confused on how you're getting in touch with
- 23:33Speaker 1: me and what this has to do with me. Well,
- 23:35Speaker 1: I mean, all this stuff that we've gone through is
- 23:37Speaker 1: totally confidential, and I'm kind of offended that you're calling me.
- 23:40Speaker 1: I understand that. Well, what's what's happening is, um, I
- 23:43Speaker 1: got a phone call from the doctor's office to day.
- 23:45Speaker 1: It seems like there's been a huge mistake by the
- 23:48Speaker 1: doctor's office. Evidently your wife has been artificially inseminated with
- 23:55Speaker 1: my seed. And I was what I mean, I'm just
- 24:01Speaker 1: as disturbed as you are. You know what I mean,
- 24:02Speaker 1: because I mean me and my wife. You know, my
- 24:04Speaker 1: wife is two months pregnant, and finally, how can they
- 24:08Speaker 1: do something like that. I mean that that doesn't make
- 24:10Speaker 1: any sense. So I have no idea. All I know
- 24:13Speaker 1: is is that you know. I hate to use the expression,
- 24:17Speaker 1: but I'm I'm I'm your wife's baby's daddy, and and no, okay,
- 24:24Speaker 1: wait a minute, no, no, no, make up that that
- 24:30Speaker 1: didn't happen. That doesn't happen, no way. So I'm trying
- 24:33Speaker 1: to make sure I bring the news to you and
- 24:34Speaker 1: see if there's anything that we can do to I mean,
- 24:36Speaker 1: I mean, after being five months pregnant, kind of hard
- 24:38Speaker 1: to rectify the problem. So I don't want this to
- 24:41Speaker 1: sound rude, and I don't want to sound wrong. You said,
- 24:44Speaker 1: baby daddy, are you black? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah black?
- 24:50Speaker 1: And my wife is gonna have a black baby. Well yeah,
- 24:52Speaker 1: your wife, he is gonna have a black baby. But
- 24:54Speaker 1: what I want you to know is I'm not paying.
- 24:56Speaker 1: No that I'll support, that's what support. And my wife
- 25:01Speaker 1: is having some of the black dude's kid. Are you crazy? No,
- 25:05Speaker 1: I'm not out of your No, I'm not out of
- 25:07Speaker 1: my mind. I'm just saying I didn't lay down and
- 25:10Speaker 1: conceive a child with your with your wife. So I'm
- 25:13Speaker 1: making sure I'm not going to be paying enough child support.
- 25:17Speaker 1: But I'm not even worried about the child support. I'll
- 25:19Speaker 1: pay the doll support. I'm worried about some doctor making
- 25:23Speaker 1: a huge mistake. And and and oh my god, your
- 25:27Speaker 1: wife is happy gonna have a black baby. I can't
- 25:29Speaker 1: believe that. This is unbelievable, unbelievable, and I can't believe
- 25:33Speaker 1: you to call wi the doctor should give me this?
- 25:38Speaker 1: What don't you want it? It doesn't matter who gives
- 25:40Speaker 1: you the news, as long as you get the news.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Now what I want you to do with this? Please
- 25:44Speaker 1: don't be giving the baby no white names and stuff white.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Just I can't believe that you're so this is incredible, incredible.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, call me. I'm trying to give me that.
- 25:59Speaker 1: I'm ready to go crazy. This is crazy, Okay, this,
- 26:02Speaker 1: this is this is no reason to be violent, sir.
- 26:05Speaker 1: You see what I'm saying. This already mad to be violent.
- 26:07Speaker 1: You're worried about me about paying child support and talking
- 26:11Speaker 1: about your seed and your baby's daddy, and oh man,
- 26:15Speaker 1: this is this is bringing the best out of me,
- 26:16Speaker 1: I can promise you. Unbelievable. Man. Let me let me
- 26:21Speaker 1: ask you something, sir, do you think you may need
- 26:23Speaker 1: anger management. I mean, you're not gonna are you gonna?
- 26:27Speaker 1: You're not gonna. You're not gonna beat my child, are you? Oh? Man,
- 26:35Speaker 1: you know how to push man's buttons. I can promise you. Man,
- 26:37Speaker 1: that's crazy. No, I ain't gonna beat nobody's baby. I
- 26:41Speaker 1: don't want you being violent to me and your wife's baby.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Spend this thing around. Huh man, what do you live? Man?
- 26:52Speaker 1: This is this? Because? Oh man, this is well, here's
- 26:57Speaker 1: what I'm gonna ask you. Do you think you might
- 26:59Speaker 1: want to be god father to the child to my
- 27:04Speaker 1: own kid? No? I guess it wouldn't be my kid
- 27:06Speaker 1: because it's me and your wife's child. Don't you say that,
- 27:10Speaker 1: you crazy? Don't you say that even thinking about something
- 27:16Speaker 1: like that. It's me talk about something like that, but
- 27:19Speaker 1: it's me and your wife's child. Thank so, don't you
- 27:23Speaker 1: even talk like that, You're crazy. Tear a hole in
- 27:27Speaker 1: your head. Don't you talk like that? Okay, okay, you're
- 27:29Speaker 1: gonna tell a hold and who hey it in your head?
- 27:31Speaker 1: You crazy? See that? This is this is the kind
- 27:36Speaker 1: of thing I don't want my child around this time,
- 27:39Speaker 1: this type of talk, this type of violence to your
- 27:41Speaker 1: wife folks gett mad and want to kill everybody in
- 27:43Speaker 1: the room. What' you kill? Who you mad at? Why
- 27:46Speaker 1: do y'all do that? This? Man? Can I can? I
- 27:50Speaker 1: can I say one more thing to you? Can I
- 27:52Speaker 1: do that? I don't know if I can take any
- 27:55Speaker 1: more news to me? Man jumped to the phone. I
- 27:58Speaker 1: got one more thing to say to you. This is
- 28:00Speaker 1: Nephew timing from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just
- 28:04Speaker 1: got pranked by your wife. Oh, I'm gonna I'm gonna
- 28:13Speaker 1: kill that man. Oh, it took a so long and
- 28:18Speaker 1: try to gonna play game like this. That's wrong. Got me? Man,
- 28:23Speaker 1: You's freaking got me? Man. Yeah, we listen to Steve
- 28:25Speaker 1: Harvey radio show all the time. Man, that's awesome. Guys
- 28:28Speaker 1: are great. Oh Man, I'm gonna go find her and
- 28:31Speaker 1: give her a big kiss. I'm gonna do that for god. Man,
- 28:35Speaker 1: I got one. I got one more question for you, baby.
- 28:40Speaker 1: What is the baddest radio show in the land, The
- 28:44Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Radio Show in the morning. How y'all feel
- 28:51Speaker 1: about me today? You got his attention? All right? That's
- 28:54Speaker 1: what you don't say that no more? You said you
- 29:01Speaker 1: said baby's mom? Are you black? It's going down April five,
- 29:08Speaker 1: six and seventh, and the nephew was coming to Lexington, Kentucky,
- 29:12Speaker 1: Comedy Off Broadway. Comedy Off Broadway, five six, seventh of April.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Pig It's on sale, and now can I asked one question?
- 29:23Speaker 1: Of course, is this a mintoring question? Now this ain't.
- 29:27Speaker 1: This is just something that bothered me. If you're in
- 29:29Speaker 1: the checkout lining there's only fifteen items and somebody in
- 29:33Speaker 1: front of you got twenty, then I had the right
- 29:36Speaker 1: to slap the hell out of them on each am.
- 29:39Speaker 1: But I do it all the time. When I used
- 29:40Speaker 1: to go in there, I have a cart full of though,
- 29:45Speaker 1: I go right over to the fifteen and I tell
- 29:48Speaker 1: a lady, okay, just rang them off. She counted fifteen,
- 29:53Speaker 1: and I said, okay, now, rang of fifteam off. You
- 29:58Speaker 1: separate at a time you put the divided dout. I
- 30:05Speaker 1: love those. Yeah, we're just gonna I promise you. I go.
- 30:14Speaker 1: I go to the express line every time I go
- 30:17Speaker 1: to Whole Food. Wow, right over there to it. I
- 30:20Speaker 1: don't give a damn what I gut. Oh my god. Alright,
- 30:29Speaker 1: coming up, coming up at the top of the hour,
- 30:33Speaker 1: miss Anne is going to be here with our national
- 30:35Speaker 1: news and the Sacramento Kings will not shut up and dribble.
- 30:39Speaker 1: We'll tell you what they're doing right after this. You're
- 30:41Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Yesterday was a
- 30:47Speaker 1: memorial service slash funeral of the two year old Stefan
- 30:51Speaker 1: Clark out of Sacramento, the unarmed black man who was
- 30:54Speaker 1: fatally shot by the Sacramento police on March eighteen. His
- 30:58Speaker 1: death has sparked out age from residents in the Sacramento community,
- 31:02Speaker 1: while the Sacramento Kings have announced their partnering with the
- 31:06Speaker 1: Build Black Coalition and Black Lives Matter Sacramento. The partnership
- 31:11Speaker 1: yes the partnership is to help fundamentally transform black communities
- 31:16Speaker 1: through deep investment in black youth in Sacramento. This is
- 31:20Speaker 1: according to the King's press release. One part of this
- 31:23Speaker 1: partnership involves the King's creating an education fund for Stefan
- 31:27Speaker 1: Clark's children, which is fantastic because he left behind two
- 31:31Speaker 1: young sons. Uh This fund cannot fix the issue that
- 31:34Speaker 1: led to the death of their father, but it will
- 31:36Speaker 1: secure opportunities for their futures while the family and the
- 31:40Speaker 1: city grapples with healing, said the King's Also later on today, uh,
- 31:44Speaker 1: there will be a forum sponsored by Vince Carter, Garrett Temple,
- 31:48Speaker 1: and Doug Christie and city leaders to create conversation about
- 31:52Speaker 1: Sacramento's black community, police violence, and people dealing with grief
- 31:56Speaker 1: over Stefan Clark's killing. Wow, yeah, yeah, we have involved
- 32:03Speaker 1: police trained to apprehend suspects that are non white. Apprehending
- 32:13Speaker 1: a suspect who is non white should be a specific
- 32:18Speaker 1: type of training because it doesn't occur regular enough. If
- 32:26Speaker 1: you assume he has a gun, you immediately go to
- 32:29Speaker 1: killing and shooting. It's just what happened to shoot him
- 32:33Speaker 1: in the legs, slow him down, what happened to let
- 32:35Speaker 1: me see your hands, what happened to get on your knees,
- 32:39Speaker 1: put your hands behind your head. I'm sure the guy
- 32:41Speaker 1: would have complied. But if you just walk in shooting,
- 32:47Speaker 1: because you've been shooting at these black targets on this
- 32:50Speaker 1: white piece of paper and all you got is killed shots,
- 32:55Speaker 1: you don't know how to shoot to wound. It's two
- 32:58Speaker 1: of y'all. I mean, come on, man, it was four
- 33:02Speaker 1: for this one. Was like, it doesn't matter how many
- 33:05Speaker 1: they're gonna shoot, the kill all the time. It does
- 33:08Speaker 1: not Man, that appears to be the case. Jack. Every
- 33:11Speaker 1: time they we always end up dead. Yeah, yep. Unbelievable yep.
- 33:17Speaker 1: And they always say, like you said yesterday, Steve, they
- 33:20Speaker 1: always say, we feared for our lives. The cops scared. Yeah,
- 33:26Speaker 1: who was the approach a black person? Immediately they scared.
- 33:29Speaker 1: But you know what when they stop you, man, everybody's scared.
- 33:34Speaker 1: But you don't know what. Carla, you brought up a
- 33:36Speaker 1: good point a couple of days ago. I think about
- 33:39Speaker 1: you know, we forget about Colin Kaepernick. This is why
- 33:43Speaker 1: you see why Colin Kaepernick, this is why this constantly
- 33:47Speaker 1: happens over and over and over. And they tried to
- 33:49Speaker 1: spend it what Colin was doing. But this is why
- 33:52Speaker 1: here we are again, same sar. Never nothing, nothing ever happened.
- 34:00Speaker 1: He did not take a knee, uh, to protest, you know,
- 34:03Speaker 1: to to against the flag or against our military. That's
- 34:07Speaker 1: not what it was about. This is what it was
- 34:09Speaker 1: about police brutality and killing. Yeah, these senseless shootings and
- 34:16Speaker 1: killing and shout out to the Sacramento Yeah, Garrett Temple. Yeah,
- 34:24Speaker 1: we'll not shut up. Endurable. I love it. Yeah, all right, Steve,
- 34:30Speaker 1: let's move on to h to our news. Please, ladies
- 34:34Speaker 1: and gentlemen, without further ado, Miss and shipp, thank you
- 34:39Speaker 1: very much. This is and for the news. Let's talk
- 34:41Speaker 1: about Sacramento and Sacramento, California. Yesterday a funeral service was
- 34:45Speaker 1: held for the young man they were just talking about
- 34:47Speaker 1: seconds ago. The young man shot to death in his
- 34:49Speaker 1: own backyard last week, holding merely a cell phone. His
- 34:53Speaker 1: name was Stefan Clark, and the Reverend Al Sharpton told
- 34:55Speaker 1: a pact. Church and people all over the country want justice.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Sacramento fight. This is a national fight. Stefan has woke
- 35:05Speaker 1: up the nation. Muslim, Christian, Baptist, Methodist, Church, an christ
- 35:12Speaker 1: we all stand with Stefan Club. We're gonna make Donald
- 35:17Speaker 1: Trump and the whole world deal with the issue of
- 35:21Speaker 1: police misconduct. We must stand for justice. Prosecutors want the
- 35:27Speaker 1: two cops protesters rather. One of the two cops involved
- 35:29Speaker 1: in Stefan's killing officially charged with murder, and Sacramento Police
- 35:33Speaker 1: Chief Daniel Hans says he's asked the California Department of
- 35:36Speaker 1: Justice to conduct an independent probe of the incident. Now.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Han is the first African American to hold a position
- 35:41Speaker 1: of chief. He says it was the best way to
- 35:43Speaker 1: go at this point, due to the nature of this investigation,
- 35:47Speaker 1: the extremely high emotions, anger and hurt in our city,
- 35:51Speaker 1: I felt it was the best interest of our entire community,
- 35:55Speaker 1: including the members of our police department. Meanwhile, the Sacramento
- 35:58Speaker 1: Kings have announced that the team's stat wishing a fund
- 36:00Speaker 1: for Stefan Clark's two children, and we're cospiring spunk Cokes
- 36:03Speaker 1: sponsoring a form and Sacramento later today to kind of
- 36:06Speaker 1: talk it out with a lot of folks. Looks like
- 36:08Speaker 1: a case of political tit for tat. Last week, the
- 36:10Speaker 1: tr administration expels sixty Russian diplomats, and now the Kremlin
- 36:13Speaker 1: says is pushing sixty American diplomats out and closing up
- 36:17Speaker 1: the U. S consulate in St. Petersburg. Diplomats reportedly have
- 36:20Speaker 1: to leave by the by the end the by the
- 36:22Speaker 1: end of the week, and the consult has to be
- 36:23Speaker 1: vacated by Saturday tomorrow. The Russians say they're doing the
- 36:27Speaker 1: same thing to every other country they recently expelled their diplomats.
- 36:29Speaker 1: So was suspicions that Moscow was behind a nerve gas
- 36:33Speaker 1: attack on a retired spy and his daughter in England
- 36:35Speaker 1: earlier this month, The State Department spokes spokesperson Heather now
- 36:39Speaker 1: Or says Moscow's acting like the victim when is not.
- 36:41Speaker 1: There is no justification for the Russian response. Our actions
- 36:46Speaker 1: were motivated purely by the attack on the United Kingdom,
- 36:49Speaker 1: the attack on a British citizen and his daughter both
- 36:52Speaker 1: remain hospitalized. By the way, now says that the US
- 36:55Speaker 1: quote reserves the right to take further action now against Russia.
- 36:59Speaker 1: A form FBI asian in Minneapolis charge you're leaking classified
- 37:02Speaker 1: information to a news website. Uh. The person who you're
- 37:06Speaker 1: talking about, Terry Albury, is charged with one kind of
- 37:09Speaker 1: knowingly transmitting documents and information. Aubrey is the only black
- 37:12Speaker 1: FBI feel agent in Minnesota. His lawyer says his actions
- 37:16Speaker 1: were driven by a quote conscientious commitment to long term
- 37:19Speaker 1: national security in addressing the well documented systematic biases and
- 37:24Speaker 1: the FBI. Today, By the way, is I'm in control day?
- 37:27Speaker 1: Tell about a Janet more entertainment cooking up today's trending
- 37:33Speaker 1: topics as well. Twenty minutes after the hour on the
- 37:35Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve Harvey

- 38:13Speaker 1: long way. Yeah, just a little bit. You got that
- 38:19Speaker 1: little baby, beautiful black baby walking around with that day

- 57:07Speaker 1: Depends on what kind of If you in California, if
- 57:11Speaker 1: you in Texas, you have to be married ten years
- 57:15Speaker 1: to get it. If you marry nine years, you only
- 57:19Speaker 1: had to pay three years. So you get married, you
- 57:22Speaker 1: be getting out at eight hunt, Well, thank god, I
- 57:26Speaker 1: didn't make teens. Let's just say amazing, it's amazing the
- 57:39Speaker 1: stuff I know that I don't really want to know.
- 57:44Speaker 1: I don't really want to know that from going through it.
- 57:46Speaker 1: You know it now, don't save yourself some time and pain.

- 58:16Speaker 1: California ademony? Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's where you'd be out
- 58:20Speaker 1: of Mona that it's I'm seriously, California is the worst state.
- 58:27Speaker 1: It is the worst state for marriage and divorce for men.
- 58:32Speaker 1: For women, it's pretty good, right because you're the recipients
- 58:35Speaker 1: of like like like if you if you're the successful
- 58:40Speaker 1: woman in California and your husband's not, he's jackpot. Yeah,
- 58:44Speaker 1: you'll have to pay. Yeah. Probably that's just sad. Yeah,
- 58:50Speaker 1: I probably got Okay, all right, let's go bucking up
- 58:56Speaker 1: and hold on tight. We got it for you. If
- 58:58Speaker 1: it is the Strawberry letter subject sick of my husband,
- 59:05Speaker 1: you do no longer married Stephen Shirley, I met my
- 59:08Speaker 1: husband on a blind date and eventually we got married. Now,
- 59:13Speaker 1: by no means am I perfect, and I don't make
- 59:15Speaker 1: myself out to be perfect. We've been married for six
- 59:17Speaker 1: years and we have two children together, a son who's five,
- 59:21Speaker 1: a daughter who's one, and I have a son, my oldest,
- 59:23Speaker 1: who is thirteen, from a previous relationship. Now, I have
- 59:26Speaker 1: been over backwards for this man and he has just
- 59:29Speaker 1: been a jerk the whole time we've been married. He
- 59:31Speaker 1: talks to me like I'm a child. He tells me
- 59:34Speaker 1: what I can and can't wear. He says that my
- 59:37Speaker 1: breasts are hanging out always, and he is tired of
- 59:40Speaker 1: talking to me about my clothes. He says that I
- 59:43Speaker 1: don't know how to talk to him. He says I
- 59:45Speaker 1: should not be raising my voice at him and that
- 59:48Speaker 1: I need to respect him. He yells at me all
- 59:50Speaker 1: the time. My wedding ring was taken by a maintenance
- 59:53Speaker 1: worker that came into our apartment to do some work,
- 59:55Speaker 1: and that was over four years ago and he has
- 59:58Speaker 1: not replaced it. Said that he didn't not lose it,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: so why should he replace it. But he gets piste
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: off when I don't wear anything on my finger. He
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: says that I only do that when I get angry
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: at him. We have been separated, I am sure five
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: or six times into the course of our marriage. The
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: second time before the last, he took me to court
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: so he could get custody of our son. Stood there
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: and told the judge that he did not think that
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: his son was safe with me, and that I was
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: not taking any medication, my medication which I was not on,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: and did not feel that my oldest was safe either.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: The sheriff came to my house took my son from me,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: and the last time it lasted for about six months.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: And those six months I was not getting any help
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: from him financially, and I had to give my only
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: means of transportation back to the finance company because I
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: could not afford the note on my own. I was
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: really trying to make this work, but I am not
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: sure that I want to be in this marriage anymore.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: But I stay for the kids. My husband always would
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: say that I would never meet anyone or be with
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: anyone because I have kids. What do you think I
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: should do? I wanted to make my marriage work, but
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: I am not sure if this is just one of
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: those marriages that will never work. Sign what should I do? Dear?
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: What should I do? I know? This letter to me
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: begs a question where is the love? This is a
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: mess love? I mean, really, you guys don't even like
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: each other. You know. You say you've been over backwards
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: for him, and he's been a jerk the whole time
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: of your marriage. My question to you is why have
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: you allowed him to treat you this way for six years?
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: You raise your voice at him, he yells at you
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: and says you need to respect him. How come you know?
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: You guys don't respect each other and yourselves enough not
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: to treat each other this way. You met him on
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: a blind date and eventually you guys got married. I
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: don't know what that means. You know, I gotta ask
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: you did you know him at all when you got married?
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: And then why did you get married to him? Why
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: did he marry you? I mean for this? This really
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: isn't what marriage is about. He's lying to the courts.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: You know, they're taking the kids away. This is a
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: real mess. What what are you guys doing? You've been
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: separated five or six times. You could be right, You
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: could be right. This marriage may never work. You stand
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: for the kids? Um, you know if you guys are
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: gonna go at it like this. Nobody is gonna win
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: in this situation, especially the kids. I suggest you guys
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: see counseling, you know or something. Do you have a job.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: I don't know what's going on here, but you're gonna
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: have to get yourself together and move on. If you
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: don't think this is right, If you guys can't get
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: along and respect and love each other, because and it
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: doesn't sound like you can. Hey, we can agree to disagree.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: twenty three after the hour you're listening to the Steve

- 1:03:32Speaker 1: He's going to tell us about this brand new movie
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: Acrimony in theaters right now. Please go check it out,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: but right now to come on, Steve with part two
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: of your response to today's Strawberry letter, Sick of my
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: husband Stephen Sherley. I met my husband on a blind
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: dad and eventually we got married. Now, by no means
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: that my perfect and I don't make myself out to
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: be perfect. We've been married for six years. We have
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: two children together, a son who is five and a
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: daughter who was one. And I have a son, my oldest,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: who is thirteen, from a previous relationship. Now, I've been
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: over backwards for this man and he has just been
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: a jerk the whole time that we have been married.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: He talks to me like I'm a child. He tells
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: me what I can and can't wear. He says that
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: my breasts are always out and he's tired of talking
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: to me about my clothes. He said that I don't
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: know how to talk to him. He says that I
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: should not be raising my voice in him, and when
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: I need to respect him. He yells at me all
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: the time. My wedding ring was taken by maintenance worker
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: that came into our apartment to do some work, and
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: that was over four years ago, and he has not
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: replaced it. Said that he ain't lose it, so why
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: should he replace it. But he gets piste off when
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: I don't wear anything on my finger. He says that
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: I only do that when I get angry with him.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: We've been separated, I'm sure five or six times in
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: the course of our marriage. The second time before the last,
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: he took me to court so he could get custod
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: of our son. Stood there and told the George and
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: he didn't think that his son was safe with me,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: and I was not taking my medication, which I was
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: not on. And then I feel that my oldest son
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: was safe either. Sheriff came to my house took my
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: son from me. And the last time it lasts about
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: six months, you know, six months. I've not been getting
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: any help from him. Financially. I've had to given only
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: means of transfer tation back to the finance company because
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: I cannot afford note on my own. I was really trying,
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: I was really trying to work that I want to
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: be in this marriage anymore, but I stayed for my kids.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: My husband always says that I would never meet anyone
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: or be with anyone because I have kids. What do
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: you think I should do? I want to make my
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: marriage work, but I'm not sure if this is just
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: one of those marriages that will never work. Sign what
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: should I do? This is a crazy person writing a
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: letter about a crazy person, which can only lead to
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: a crazy response from a crazy person. Subjects sick of
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: my husband sound to me like he's sick of your
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: ass tree. So now we just got a letter full
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: of sick as people. You're sick of him, He's sick
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: of you. You're talking to him loud, he talking back live.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: You disrespected him when you talk. He disrespecting you when
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: you talk. He said, you got your breasts hanging out,
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: and I canna assure you your breast is hanging out.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: He tired of talking to you about your clothes you're
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: wearing with the hell you want to with? You got kids.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: He got you to the maintenance man, stole your ring.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: You want him to replace? He said, what hell I
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: got replaced? I ain't lose, idn't lose that y'all been
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: separated five or six times. You don't even show what
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: number it is. You only been married five years, been
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: separated six times. That's every six months. Y'all asked go somewhere.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: Your husband went to court. I told him you wasn't
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: taking your medication, you said, which I was not on.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: You should have said at the time, do you go down?
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: You go because I can assure you you takeing some medicine.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: And he know you taking some medicine. You know I
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: know you're taking medicine because at the top of the
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: letter you said, by no means that my perfect, gonna
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: make myself out to be perfect. Anybody they put up,
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: anybody put a disclaimer at the top of the letter.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: There's something wrong at the bottom of the left. Now, lady,
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: Then after all this craziness, they didn't took your sons.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: All this, you didn't have to take your car back.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: That's another crazy person moved the repo man got to
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: find my car. I ain't can't it back down to
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: the finance cup I got. I ain't paid you, but
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: I you can't find my seventies six tempo all over
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: the city I parked in in so many places. I
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: wake up and forgot where to everybody bus all around
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: the city trying to remember where the hell I parked
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: that car. Keep it from the Repo man. You crazy
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: taking your car back down there? Here's another crazy? After all,
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: you're not sure you won't it is marriage anymore? Oh
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: you ain't? Huh? Well, let me ask you a question,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: crazy lady? What else can go wrong in the relationship?
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: Come on, lady, you don't know if you want this
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: manage to work anymore. The marriage ain't working. Your husband
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: told you that you will never be able to meet
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: anybody because you got kids, But you staying in the
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: relationship causing the keys. Hello are you listening to any
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: of the letter you type? I'm not sure if this

- 1:10:42Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Everybody, as promised, our special
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: guest is more. He's family member. He sits in on
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: the show. That's all it is. He He needs no introduction.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: He is a mogul, movie producing, realist, state jagernaut, studio owner.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: You can't say that about a lot of studio owner everything, daddy, director, writer, producing,
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: single on that singer dancing Scot Diver. Actually you've seen, Yeah, gentlemen,
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: what you think the put your together for Tyler? Man,
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: I'm sitting in the window cell and that's on the
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: sixtieth floor of the hotel right now. Don't say that.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: Don't say that. Wow, hey, Tyler, welcome back. We love you,
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: Thank you. I love y'all too, man, And I do
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: feel like family every time, every time I call it,
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: every time i'm there, every time i'm with y'all. Man,
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: it's really awesome. So thank you man. Well, let's get
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: to it. Man, you got a new movie, sus thrill
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: up star Roger p heres In. The movie is called Acrimony.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: It's in theaters now, y'all, and the theme of the
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: movie is let Me Pull Myself. The theme of the
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: movie is hell on half, No, fey, come on like
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: a woman's school'll give it up the time. I appreciate it.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: But I appreciate it. I can tell you. I can
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: tell you right now, y'all. Y'all. If people think, oh,
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: I know what this is about, I promise you. I
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: promised to God. You don't know what this is about.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: You go on there thinking it's one thing, and then
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: all of a sudden they turned into a whole another thing.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: I wrote it. I wrote it because in the top
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: of it, the therapists talking to her, and so the
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: audience is really the therapist. Uh so they get a
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: chance to make up their mind on what's really going
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: on between the two of them because she has her story,
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: he has her his story, and then the audience gets
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: to see what the truth is. Yeah, not the therapy. Yeah,
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: but it is about an angry black woman getting revenge,
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: though it's not really. If that's what you're that's what
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: that's what you're thinking about, but it's not. It's about
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: this woman. I can't give if I say too much
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: and not give it away. But it's about this woman
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: who they were married, they had a relationship, it didn't
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: work out, and and and in the end, everything's changed
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: and he moved on, but she couldn't. She was holding
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: onto it, and it didn't know how to let go.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: And the more successful, the more successful he got, the
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: more angry. And it won't. Yeah, I'm talking about saying
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: too much. We've seen it movie. I'm sitting next to it.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna go to the movie just to verify. I'm
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: not gonna have to go there. I already know the end.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: I think you should have a residual check coming out
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: of here. You don't want this ending. You don't want
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: this ending. I can't wait to see it. Tyler, Oh
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: my god, we're gonna make the girls night. Yeah, I'm
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: telling you. I'm telling you. Just go see it. Go
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: out to the movies and see what I'm telling you.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: It's really, really good. It's so different from me. People
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: don't know what to expect. I keep getting every interview
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: I do, they're like, Tyler, why were you thinking when
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: you're this is so different for you. I've been here,
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: I've been hearing that a lot. But after Gone Girl,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: I wanted to I wanted to really do something in
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: this in this genre, in this pain. So it's to Roger, right,
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: now one of the baddest chicks out there. Oh yeah,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: she's got it mad, hands down, she's got it. And
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: I love working with her because she's so cool, she's
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: so professional. You know, we chopped this movie in eight days.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: We didn't have a lot of time. She was shooting
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: Empire and I only had her for five days. So
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: she she came in there and killed it, man, and
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: I just I love working with it. She's so real.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: She'll kill the scene and start screaming for crab legs
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: and wine. You know, how do you shoot a major
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: feature film days? Well, that's one of the advantages of
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: having the studio. And that's another advantage of not having
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: a bunch of producers in your year of studio giving
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: you notes. When you when it's your project, you can
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: do whatever you want to do. And so I don't
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: have a lot of people slowing me down, and and
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: and I could I could just roll with it. And
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: nobody's calling me up saying we'll change this, so we
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: didn't like this, or redo that. I get there all
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: out of here with all that. So so it's just
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: it's just it makes it work, to makes it work
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: really easy. That's what that's what I think you've done
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: to this industry to kind of flip it up and down.
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: First of all, to make a long story short, the
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: whole concept of medal was just under the radar. It
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: was and if you if, if I didn't have the
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: right word for it, it was what would have been
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: called years and years ago, a chittening circuit item. That's right.
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: There was no there was no press, there was no
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: social media, that's right. It was just man. The ado
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: was packed. And when he went in there and trying
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: to tell him this is what I got, they went,
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: that's not we don't know her, We've never seen her, right,
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: what is this? Yeah, That's why I'm so excited about
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: what's going on right now, man, because I've been in
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: those rooms having those conversations, yelling about our stories for
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: a long time. So and you know, for about ten
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: year period, I was the only person out there. There
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: was no black people on television, there was nobody making films.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: All that that whole thing that happened in the nineties
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: had dried up. So to see what's happening now at
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: your He's to raise and Daniel that Glover, Donald Glover
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: and uh, you know Ryan Coogler, Abra DuVernay, all of
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: these people getting Jordan Peele, all of them getting a
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: chance to seek to tell their stories. Man, it's it's exciting. Yeah.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: Do you go to the theater to watch the reaction
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: of the audience when when one of your movies comes out.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: I do try to stink in something. So I'm definitely
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: gonna try to stink in with this one because I'm
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: telling you right now, you ain't ready for this one.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: Any guy out there with a dream and she gave
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: you hell take to see the dream snatch, I'm telling you.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: I'm telling you, Hey, y'all stick around, hold on, we'll
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: be right back with more with Tyler Perry right after this.
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Morning Show. Back more with this food Tyler.
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: Oh man, y'all think y'all gotta figure out you'll be
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: talking about Monday morning. Think you've got to figure it out, Like, oh, yeah,
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: I know what this is. They did that, Tyler, I
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: know what this is. I know he ain't gonna do
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: nothing I'm doing. You're gonna be happy you win. Take
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: her right out. Any guy out there with a dream
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: and she gave you hell take to see I'm telling you.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: I'm telling you, I'm telling you, so, Tyler, we know
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: Taraji is the star of the movie. We know that,
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: so tell us about the rest of the cast. It
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: looks like we're seeing some new new faces in this movie. Yeah, Lyric,
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: totallyding man. This guy reminds me so much Sitney Party.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: I was so happy to find him to do this thing.
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: And they worked really really close together, uh in this
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: and and and the rest of the cast kind of
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: just round them out and support them. Um that we
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: go from her being very very young to to her
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: being the older um older as Taraji, but with young
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: Asiana is playing her younger and and the thing about
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: her to think about it also about this movie is
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: that the family is in her ear. She tells the
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: family everything, so they're in her ear, and they tell
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: they're in her years the chilling, So they helped her
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: to paint this narrative of what's not really the truth. So,
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: so you didn't need to go on the sound familiar.
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: I want to pay you something right now. Quiet on
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: the phone. The Lord has spoken, shut your mouth. Yes,
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: you really really wanted to make this real. You should
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: have just cashed me in, gave you some stuff. Don't nobody, No,
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: you don't need no action. I could have shot that
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: movie for you in about seventeen. How don't don't even
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: write a script, just no just action. Steve, come in
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: here here she is got it, give me gram legs
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: and wine. I love it, I love it. I love it.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: Hey man, this weekend, everybody acrimonies and there Tyler man,
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: what I ought to do because I can't go no
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: movie nowhere you can go step you can sneak in with.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: You have to go early or if you want to
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: go later with is you go? You go? What they
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: do for me is uh, once the movie starts, I
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: just coming through the back and go up to the
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: top and to the top and just really I have
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: a good time back there. Yeah, go to the movie.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: Yeah we have We've seen you in movies. Now. I
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: saw Tyler think like a man. He was sitting behind
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: me hardest. Heir kept going, who is this? Laugh? Man?
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: It's good, that's right, that's right, that's right. Well hey,
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: listen to everybody. Let's get out and support this movie.

- 1:21:08Speaker 1: don't thank he in that? Just male bash that. This

- 1:21:25Speaker 1: movie if you want to know more about me, get
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: a deeper understanding what I've been through? What the hell
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: have been happening here? Lord, let's get to acrimony, man, Well,
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: thank you Tyler for another what we know is going
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: to be a hit. Acrimony. Acrimony in theaters right now.
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: I didn't know that movie. No, no, Tyler, thank you, no,
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: thank you. Find somebody that we love Tyler, don't we?
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: All right? Yes, you can't wait to see the movie
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: as well. Well, we have a big weekend to do it.
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: Today is Good Friday and then it's yeah, resurrection weekend. Yeah.
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: How long is church gonna be? So it's gonna be
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: real long. Well I'm telling you why it be long though,
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: because this is the service that the path to get
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: the show out, because it's Pat. Yeah, it's Pat trying
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: to win the members. But the march round for offering
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: this long everybody walking. You got a major production to
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: for east of you, that flying angels and tambourine thing. Man,
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: can I just can I say this? What's that? I
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: don't like praise dances. I'm with you. I can't get
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: the movie. I know they bring in you know they
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: do good work for the church, but it ain't it.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: You can praise the Lord and dance it is, yes,
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: but the word the movements don't match the song, and
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: they need to start having people in there all the
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: same side because when everybody do the movements, they don't
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: look the same. Well, I'm just tellings that church. I
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: don't really think we should have praise and I'm not
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: up with the white face. That's just me. I'm just
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: don't that's scary? Are good? I don't like scary scary
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: because you're sitting there, they come out that back, don't
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: you sing? Very scary. They've always been scary, Like the
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: Lord never said I was talking to man. Yeah, I
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: come in here to hear the word. The word. I
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: didn't want to come in here and have description of
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: the word. Yeah. I'm already struggling trying to stay on
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: track listening to the word now I've been here trying
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: to analyze what you're saying with your fingers. Yeah, put
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: your hands down and the poplocking. Why as you pop?
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: I know it's part of the church, but hey, I'm
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: just I can't believe they judged. Can I just say
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: one more thing? You cannot know? Let me say this.
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: Can I say this? Give me one tambourine one? That's
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: all I need? Whatever shot up with the tamarine first,
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: others got to be put away. Yeah, when we come back,
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: you're listening stry Morning show. Well, it's time for something
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: funny and Jay. This is about stuff you say to
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: your neighbors under your breath. Please explain. This has to
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: do what we see our neighbors all the time. We're
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: not that fond of them sometimes so we speak. But
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: under our breath was saying little things, little little insulting
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: things like, hey, hi, do you can't have done keeping
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: keeping keeping it one? You got one? Jack? Jay? Oh,
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: how are you doing? My man? You need some curtains?
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: How are you doing? Franklin's good to see it. I
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: hope they boy stay home this time. It takes vacations.
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: Let's see us, Perkins, how are you good? Good? I
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: should do something with that damn boat. I don't know's Kennedy. Hey,
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: I don't cross your street that smelling den down kill?
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: How you guys doing the jake with too stupid ass kick?
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: Yeah stuff we say to our neighbors unders gotta be sing.
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: Come on, it's good to see it right now. I
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: wouldn't be pushing my mama dead long. She got to
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: do something three wheels. Hey, how are you good? Good?
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: You can stop your fat's wife from swimming naked on
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: probably the hell out my dog money and night going. Yeah,
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: how you got phone claws on block and don't know?
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: Nothing is a meth stuff We say to our neighbors
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: under our breath, Come on us, boy, I see you
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: have a good with the game show glady over there.
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: That breath he cut my grass, heeled my flower, spoke
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: to me and cut my grass. Wow, that's bad stuff.
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: We say to our neighbors under our breath. Elot herman,
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: how y'all doing? Tell y'all put your mom in a
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: hole that? Yeah, like people don't do that. Hey, Mr Mitchell,
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: what's going on? Yeah? I'm good. You don't see that
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: when your y'all, you just don't see it's just coming up.
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: The Sacramento Kings will not shut up and dribble. We'll
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: tell you about that when we come back. You're listening
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Show. Yesterday was a memorial service
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: slash funeral of the twenty two year old Stefan Clark
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: out of Sacramento, the unarmed black man who was fatally
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: shot by the Sacramento police on March eighteen. His death
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: has sparked outrage from residents in the Sacramento community. While
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: the Sacramento Kings have announced their partnering with the Build
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: Black Coalition and Black Lives Matter Sacramento. The partnership yes
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: the partnership is to help fundamentally transform black communities through
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: deep investment in black youth in Sacramento. This is according
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: to the King's press release. One part of this partnership
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: involves the King's creating an education fund for Stefan Clark's children,
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: which is fantastic because he left behind two young sons.
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: Uh This fund cannot fix the issue that led to
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: the death of their father, but it will secure opportunities
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: for their futures while the family and the city grapples
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: with healing. Said the Kings. Also later on today, uh,
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: there will be a forum sponsored by Vince Carter, Garrett Temple,
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: and Doug Christie and city leaders to create conversation about
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: Sacramento's black community, police violence, and people dealing with grief
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: over Stefan Clark's killing. Wow. Yeah, yeah, we have getting
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: involved police train to apprehend suspects that are non white.
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: Apprehending a suspect who is non white should be a
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: specific type of training because it doesn't occur regular enough.
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: If you assume he has a gun, you immediately go
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: to killing issue. It's just what happened to shoot him
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: in the legs, slow him down, what happened to let
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: me see your hands, what happened to get on your knees,
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: put your hands behind your head. I'm sure the guy
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: would have complied. But if you just walk in shooting,
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: because you've been shooting at these black targets on this
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: white piece of paper and all you've got is killed shots,
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: you don't know how to shoot to wound. It's two
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: of y'all. I mean, come on, man, there was four
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: for this one. It was like, it doesn't matter how
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: many they're gonna shoot to kill all the time. It
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: does not. That appears to be the case, Jane. Every
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: time they we always end up dead. Yeah, yep. Unbelievable yep.
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: And they always say, like you said yesterday, Steve, they
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: always say, we feared for our lives. The cops they scared. Yeah,
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: who was the approach a black person? They immediately they scared.
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: But you know what, you're scared too when they stop you. Man,
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: everybody's scared. But you know what, Carla, you brought up
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: a good point a couple of days ago. I think
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: about you know, we forget about Colin Kaepernick. This is
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: why you see why Colin Kaepernick. This is why this
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: constantly happens over and over and over. And they tried
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: to spin it what Colin was doing. But this is
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: why here we are again. Same. He took the knee. Nothing,
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: nothing ever happened. He did not take a knee, uh,
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: to protest, you know, to against the flag or against
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: our military. That's not what it was about. This is
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: what it was about police brutality and killing, these senseless
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: shootings and killings. And shout out to the Sacramento l Yeah,
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: Garrett Temple, Yeah, we'll not shut up and dribble. I
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: love it. Yeah, Steve will be up next with his
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: closing remarks. You're listening to the Steve Show. Here we
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: are last break of the day on this Friday, this
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: Good Friday, the Friday before Sunday, Easter, Sunday Resurrection Day. Steve,
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: what do you have for us closing remarks wise today? Yeah,
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: here's something that I think is very helpful to people,
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: and it would to help you open yourself up to
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: really what God truly can have for you. And the
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: reason I'm saying that is because oftentimes we limit what
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: God can do in our lives simply by the way
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: we we think and simply by expectations. God has no
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: He's limitless. You can't put him in a box. You
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: can't put what God can do for you in the
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: parameters of your thinking. What you've got to do is
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: you've got to open up your mind so you can
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: be open to all of His goodness and what He
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: can do for you. And I'm saying that to say
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: this because a lot of times people ask God and
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: only think about stuff that they can see themselves attaining. Basically,
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: with your check, there's a scripture that says you have
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: not cause you asked not Well, then most people go, Lord,
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: help me make my rent, and then I have to
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: ask you, Well, don't he always? Why would you not
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: ask God for a mortgage? Well, don't become a homeowner.
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: Then here comes the thinking of man when you start
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: putting in stuff like well, I don't make enough money,
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: my credit score, I haven't been on my job long enough.
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: I can't afford that. Therefore, why would I sit up
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: and ask for that? See, you're you're you're knocking yourself
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: out of so many blessings that God can have for
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: you by your limited thinking. Because God has no limits,
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: so you have to open up your mind, so you
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: have to start thinking of things that is in your imagination.
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: Why would you not ask God for a big house?
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: You don't think that God got enough sense based on
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: this scripture you have not called? You ask not Most
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: people don't ask because they don't see no way. They
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: can't get it. You don't think that if you ask
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: God for a big house, you don't think he got
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: enough sense to make a way for you to get
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: the house. You don't think that he knows that you
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: need more money and then he knows how to make
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: a way for you to make more money. You don't
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: think he got that part figured out. You think he
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: needs your help figuring that out. You don't think that
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: he know that if you got X amount of dollars,
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: your credits going really don't matter. You don't think he
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: know that He know all of that, but you've limited
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: to see what he can do and how you can
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: move in your life because you won't think big enough.
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: That is a book that changed my life. The name
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: of the book is called The Magic of Thinking Big,
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: and it's by David Schwartz. It's the Magic of Thinking Big,
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: and I didn't understand this until I was selling am Way.
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: Am Way was one of the greatest periods of my
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: life because it introduced me to all positive books. It
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: introduced me to self motivation and self help books. And
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: those are really the only books I read outside of
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: the Bible. I don't read anything. I don't read novels,
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: love stories. I ain't got no time for that. But
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: The Power of Positive Thinking about Norman Vincent Peale, Thinking
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, The Magic of Thinking Big
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: by David Schwartz. I have time to read that because
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: the Magic of Thinking Big taught me something. It taught
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: me that It does not require any more brain power
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: to think big than it does to think small. It
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: doesn't require anymore. You ain't got the grunt look. You
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: can say votes Wagon, or you can say Rose Royce.
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: It doesn't Your brain don't have to shift and burn
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: most sales, and you gotta throw yourself into something to
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: say Rose Royce versus Voteswagon. It doesn't hurt more to
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: say rent or mortgage. It doesn't hurt no more to
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: say new car than use car. It doesn't hurt more
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: to say hand me down. Then it cast us. Then
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: it called you to say brand new. If you buy
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: this book, The Magic of Thinking Big by David Schwartz,
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: it's an amazing way. It changed my thinking in my twenties,
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: and so I started thinking big. Once I started thinking big,
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: I started opening up to the possibilities of God. Because
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: God is big? Am I not right? God is big?
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: So why would you get in the way of his
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: bigness with your small mindedness. See you're getting in the
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: way of your blessings by the way you think. You
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: keep thinking in terms of your paycheck. Get God ain't
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: in your paycheck. Get out of your paycheck, man, Get
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: out of your current situations where you are. It's just temporary.
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: God has another place for you. God got a great
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: life for you, but you got to invite him in
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: and let him show it to you. Quit wasting his
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: time with this little bit. Get out of your own way.
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: You are in your way with your limited thinking. People
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: ask me all the time, man, why are you always
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: at the meetings? Why are you Why don't you just
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: sit out and take your day off? Because I can't
- 1:38:32Speaker 1: get where I'm going sitting down taking my days off.
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: I'm about the business of becoming successful and happy. Now.
- 1:38:40Speaker 1: Am I successful? Yeah? Am I happy? Yeah? Happier than
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: I ever been. But and I have everything I need.
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: Can I tell you all that I don't need nothing else?
- 1:38:50Speaker 1: But I'm in the wrong side of life. I just won't.
- 1:38:55Speaker 1: I'm not greedy. I'm not asking you to give me nothing.
- 1:38:58Speaker 1: I'm willing to work for other things. I want. I
- 1:39:01Speaker 1: want to see how the other class of people live.
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: I want to see what that's like. I want to
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: see what it's like when my grandchildren's children will remember
- 1:39:11Speaker 1: my name because I left them something, because I created
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: a legacy that I put money away from my grandchildren
- 1:39:18Speaker 1: and my children's children that's what I'm working on. You
- 1:39:21Speaker 1: can do that. God is capable. Get out your way.
- 1:39:26Speaker 1: This is the book again, y'all, The Magic of Thinking
- 1:39:28Speaker 1: being about David Schord. Go By, go by, just go by,
