- 2:16Speaker 1: O kid, You're not because this is coming purely from
- 2:19Speaker 1: self experience, purely, and it just happened to me. You know,
- 2:24Speaker 1: I was going through something that I've been going through
- 2:28Speaker 1: for a long long time and just weary of it all.
- 2:30Speaker 1: And I I've been talking to God about it, and
- 2:33Speaker 1: I mean for for years though, for years, and I've
- 2:36Speaker 1: been saying, Okay, enough is enough, you know God, I'm
- 2:40Speaker 1: really I'm really tired and so but you but you
- 2:45Speaker 1: know what, ah after it was over, you know, I
- 2:52Speaker 1: kind of laid in it for a little while. You
- 2:54Speaker 1: know how you've been going through something for so long
- 2:56Speaker 1: and then even if it's over appears to be over
- 2:59Speaker 1: you you still kind of lay in it a little bit,
- 3:02Speaker 1: and you know, you have a a while. Man, I
- 3:04Speaker 1: can't believe I've been dealing with this this long, even
- 3:07Speaker 1: though even though it's over, or you threw with it
- 3:10Speaker 1: for that particular day or what or whatever it is
- 3:14Speaker 1: you threw with it, it's over with for that day
- 3:16Speaker 1: of that period of time, you know, but it's over
- 3:19Speaker 1: for whatever. But I I found myself going you know, man,
- 3:24Speaker 1: I can't leave its lasted this long. I was just
- 3:27Speaker 1: talking to myself and I had to catch myself yesterday.
- 3:31Speaker 1: And maybe you've been doing the same thing to yourself,
- 3:33Speaker 1: But man, I had to take an inventory yesterday. I
- 3:37Speaker 1: really did, and it really tripped me out, and I said,
- 3:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna share that with everybody today. You know, have
- 3:42Speaker 1: you ever counted how many times you made it? This
- 3:51Speaker 1: is really good for me. I don't know how you
- 3:53Speaker 1: do it, but this was so good for you for me.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Have you ever counted Steve Harvey how many times you
- 4:01Speaker 1: made it? And so that's what I started doing yesterday,
- 4:05Speaker 1: And that's what I did this morning when I woke up,
- 4:08Speaker 1: was getting ready, I was actually taking an inventory account
- 4:14Speaker 1: of how many times I made it. How many times, man,
- 4:19Speaker 1: I didn't have it rent and somehow I came up
- 4:22Speaker 1: with it. How many times I didn't have my house
- 4:24Speaker 1: payment and somehow I came up with it. How many
- 4:29Speaker 1: times I was out of money, did not have enough,
- 4:31Speaker 1: didn't didn't see no way, but somehow I came up
- 4:35Speaker 1: with it. How many times I got sick? I thought, well, man,
- 4:41Speaker 1: this is right here. I don't know what I'm gonna do,
- 4:43Speaker 1: but somehow I got my health back. How many situations
- 4:51Speaker 1: I have found myself in. That was I thought at
- 4:55Speaker 1: the time, detrimental and diabolical and man so sinister at times.
- 5:02Speaker 1: But look at me, somehow I made it. I look
- 5:06Speaker 1: at all the accidents I've been in, but he kept me.
- 5:10Speaker 1: I made it. I think about even the simplest times
- 5:14Speaker 1: of like stepping off a curve and almost got hit,
- 5:17Speaker 1: but I made it. I was just tripping the other day.
- 5:20Speaker 1: I was I was thinking about the times that I've
- 5:22Speaker 1: been hit by a car, and it could have been worse,
- 5:25Speaker 1: but it wasn't. And I made it through that too.
- 5:28Speaker 1: I was thinking about, man, when they count you out?
- 5:31Speaker 1: Do you know how many times I've been counted out?
- 5:34Speaker 1: He's done? He ain't gonna be nothing, He ain't nobody
- 5:40Speaker 1: see what I told y'all, look at over that they
- 5:42Speaker 1: counsel this. He offered that he out of here. He
- 5:45Speaker 1: ain't gonna make it. He didn't got fired. Man, You
- 5:47Speaker 1: know how many times I've been counting out? You know
- 5:50Speaker 1: how many times they didn't wrote me off? How many
- 5:52Speaker 1: times have you been written off? Man? But here you
- 5:55Speaker 1: still stand? You know you have a tripped on it?
- 5:57Speaker 1: Taking inventory y'all of how many times? Count the times
- 6:02Speaker 1: you've made it? Sit down, get a pin drough like
- 6:05Speaker 1: I did. I just started jotting stuff down. What about
- 6:09Speaker 1: the times man, when nobody was there to encourage you?
- 6:12Speaker 1: But you still here though you have a tripped on that?
- 6:16Speaker 1: Ain't nobody called you and told you good day. No
- 6:18Speaker 1: nobody called you and told you recently thank you. No
- 6:21Speaker 1: one's called you and told you how much you meant
- 6:23Speaker 1: to them, how much you've done for them? A man,
- 6:25Speaker 1: that you can make it, Never give up, keep your
- 6:27Speaker 1: head up, man, keep grinding, but you still here even
- 6:31Speaker 1: when nobody have you counted the times man, that you
- 6:35Speaker 1: made it anyway? You counted the times that you felt
- 6:39Speaker 1: like quitting. How about that one you felt like giving up?
- 6:43Speaker 1: You kept going? How about the time this is a
- 6:46Speaker 1: good one right here? How about the times man, when
- 6:49Speaker 1: when when when everybody was standing around saying, ain't no way,
- 6:52Speaker 1: ain't no way. Steve, Man, I can't tell you any
- 6:55Speaker 1: times I've heard this, ain't no way. And then somehow
- 6:59Speaker 1: there is a way. You know why, because he makes
- 7:02Speaker 1: away you understand. You know how many you know how
- 7:06Speaker 1: many times I've heard this one right here? Steve, listen
- 7:09Speaker 1: to me, Man, nobody ever before has done that. You
- 7:17Speaker 1: can't do that. How many times you've heard no? You
- 7:20Speaker 1: wan when you know anybody that done that? You can't
- 7:24Speaker 1: do that. No one has ever done that. I made
- 7:27Speaker 1: it anyway? You know, they don't normally or we don't
- 7:35Speaker 1: normally allow this, But in this case, for you, we're
- 7:41Speaker 1: gonna make an exception. How many times have you heard that, Oh,
- 7:45Speaker 1: I think I'm on to something. How many times have
- 7:49Speaker 1: you heard in your lifetime? We don't normally or they
- 7:53Speaker 1: don't normally allow this, but we're gonna make this exception
- 7:58Speaker 1: in your case. How many times you'vedn't heard that? Have
- 8:04Speaker 1: you ever counted the times that you made it? You
- 8:10Speaker 1: know everybody out accept me? How how can that be?
- 8:18Speaker 1: You know you're the only one that got through this? Congratulations? Wow? Man,
- 8:24Speaker 1: I don't I don't hardly see this too many times.
- 8:26Speaker 1: But do you realize that normally this is what happened
- 8:29Speaker 1: to people? But man, y'all don't know how your name
- 8:32Speaker 1: came up, but here you are. Wow, it never happens
- 8:36Speaker 1: like that. You have accounted those times. I was doing
- 8:39Speaker 1: it yesterday, I was doing it this morning. I was
- 8:42Speaker 1: just taking an inventory of everybody of how many times
- 8:45Speaker 1: I've made it. So what I learned yesterday was when
- 8:50Speaker 1: God gets you through something, when he pulled you out
- 8:53Speaker 1: on the other side, no matter how difficult or how
- 8:57Speaker 1: long it took. When He gets you out on the
- 8:59Speaker 1: other side, why don't you get up, dust yourself off,
- 9:03Speaker 1: and start trotting what you laying there for? Man? Wallowing
- 9:08Speaker 1: in it, going over it, recycling it in your mind.
- 9:12Speaker 1: So many people can't move forward because we keep recycling
- 9:18Speaker 1: stuff in our minds when clearly it's time to move on.
- 9:25Speaker 1: It's time to let go. It's time to go and
- 9:29Speaker 1: see what God has for you. Stop looking at what
- 9:33Speaker 1: you lost. What you lost was probably not yours to
- 9:38Speaker 1: have in the first in the first place, Do you
- 9:46Speaker 1: know the things I've lost? I'm not talking about losing
- 9:50Speaker 1: the love of one or mother or father, nothing like that.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I'm talking about innate objects or situation. Do you know
- 9:57Speaker 1: the things I've lost? Man, I look back on it
- 9:59Speaker 1: I wasn't supposed to have in the first place, or
- 10:01Speaker 1: they was doing me no good all it wasn't even
- 10:03Speaker 1: what wasn't mine to lose, but I claimed I lost it.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Come on, man, take an inventory everybody. Start looking at
- 10:10Speaker 1: the things man, that God has brought you through. Start
- 10:13Speaker 1: looking at how many times He allowed you to make it.
- 10:15Speaker 1: And get glad about waking up in the morning. Man,
- 10:18Speaker 1: get glad about your life. Start feeling something positive about
- 10:21Speaker 1: your situation. You cannot expect God to continue to bless
- 10:26Speaker 1: you if you're not grateful for the things that you have.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Come on, man, have you ever counted how many times
- 10:34Speaker 1: you made it? I started yesterday ended up this morning.
- 10:39Speaker 1: When I go on break, I got some most stuff
- 10:41Speaker 1: to throw on the list. I can't count how many
- 10:44Speaker 1: times God didn't got me through something. But when He
- 10:46Speaker 1: gets you through it, and get up and get on
- 10:48Speaker 1: about your business, don't lay that in it. It's over,
- 10:51Speaker 1: it's done, you made it, you survived it. Let's go,
- 10:53Speaker 1: Let's go. You're ladies and gentlemen, boards and girls have
- 11:01Speaker 1: your attention. Please welcome to the baddest morning show the land.

- 13:16Speaker 1: he couldn't belee and kept bringing. He called me three
- 13:19Speaker 1: days later he said, Dad, I'm in, Trump said, locked up.
- 13:24Speaker 1: He said, I can't go to the day. I said,
- 13:27Speaker 1: because you you crowded your system, overload me. You don't

- 14:23Speaker 1: just think alright, coming up something funny. Last week we
- 14:31Speaker 1: talked about the fight party on a budget. Well, now
- 14:33Speaker 1: the guys are here to plan Labor Day weekend barbecue.
- 14:37Speaker 1: That's coming up next at thirty two after you're listening
- 14:41Speaker 1: to the Steve Brby Morning Show. Alright, this weekend is
- 14:45Speaker 1: Labor Day weekend, so you know what that means. That
- 14:47Speaker 1: means barbecue. Alright, fellas, come on with your must have
- 14:54Speaker 1: Yes meat, you need a couple of packs of ween.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Is funny how that worked out. Yeah, this is not
- 15:05Speaker 1: a great vegan college. No, no, you know nothing wrong
- 15:10Speaker 1: with being vegans. My daughters are vegans. My son tries it.
- 15:14Speaker 1: He needs to get it. Damn weight up anywhere, he
- 15:18Speaker 1: eating strong as he as he is a strong You
- 15:24Speaker 1: really got to really focus. This is not a vegan week.
- 15:30Speaker 1: But what did you do? You have something for the
- 15:32Speaker 1: vegan since they go no, no, no, it ain't about them.
- 15:35Speaker 1: They like that. You don't even come vegetables in barbecue.
- 15:39Speaker 1: An't come over there because we want to hear that.
- 15:42Speaker 1: We don't want to hear. But you don't eat meat? Okay?
- 15:45Speaker 1: Or are there some Is there some meat in those greens? Yeah?
- 15:50Speaker 1: Meeting every damn thing. Listen to me. It's meat in
- 15:55Speaker 1: the beans, meat in the sucker tag, its meat in
- 15:59Speaker 1: the green. If you ain't looking, I'll slip a little
- 16:02Speaker 1: meat in the potatoes. What you don't understand you have meat,
- 16:08Speaker 1: just meat chunks in the bobcat. I got punched meat.
- 16:17Speaker 1: And then what's that in the sweet teeth? That's meat
- 16:24Speaker 1: And don't drink it too fast You're gonna choke yourself
- 16:28Speaker 1: in there. What about potatoes there eating the potato selling.
- 16:35Speaker 1: You ain't looking. If you're not careful, I'll slips some
- 16:37Speaker 1: meat in the potato selling. This is the meat weekend,
- 16:42Speaker 1: you know, ain't don't need a brand in call like
- 16:45Speaker 1: coming over. We're not doing twin pop this weekend. They
- 16:50Speaker 1: got a wonderful organic popcorn that they do and delicious
- 16:54Speaker 1: flavors is my favorite food right now, but we're not
- 16:58Speaker 1: having that this weekend. Daddy doing me me, don't listen
- 17:06Speaker 1: to me, listen to me. Yeah. Keywords you need to
- 17:10Speaker 1: understand slabs Another keyword cuts cuts. It's gonna be different
- 17:20Speaker 1: cuts of me. He has another You need to know
- 17:24Speaker 1: the different shoulder, shoulder, the whole damn hunckleman ross rose
- 17:33Speaker 1: is the back end, shoulders is the front. Lon's the
- 17:39Speaker 1: terms you need to learn now. According to the lady
- 17:41Speaker 1: on from Chicago on Family Feud, the question was name
- 17:48Speaker 1: a word that starts with port. She said low I said,
- 17:53Speaker 1: excuse me, launch, Steve. So I'm thinking pork lawn you
- 17:59Speaker 1: know l a in. I can't figure out what she's
- 18:01Speaker 1: telling Lord. You know Lord like a prokelon l I
- 18:06Speaker 1: O end that's lying. And so cuts of meat. What
- 18:17Speaker 1: we're talking not what will not be at the park
- 18:22Speaker 1: A pig parts, no years feet, No, no, no, no, Steve,
- 18:29Speaker 1: don't do that. No, no pickles, pigs feet, no ChIL
- 18:36Speaker 1: no head cheese sparking at my house at all? What
- 18:45Speaker 1: was that? What was that cheese that you No, no, no,
- 18:50Speaker 1: that's not what you say. No, what does it say? Cheese? Real?
- 19:06Speaker 1: Is what? Yeah? Well, I don't do pork. But what
- 19:10Speaker 1: you have to understand is once you lay a pork
- 19:14Speaker 1: real on a grill over an open fire, it loses
- 19:22Speaker 1: all its pork properties. It becomes an entirely new meat
- 19:27Speaker 1: group called Bobby bobbe You get the high little pressure,
- 19:35Speaker 1: none of that. No, no, no, it's not that. It
- 19:39Speaker 1: is what it is barbecue, barbecue, Bobby bobecue, Bobby Bobbeque,
- 19:48Speaker 1: Bobby q b o b b y, Bobby kill you
- 19:55Speaker 1: Bobby kill Bobby. So meat hills happening get used to
- 20:01Speaker 1: the phrase yes, there's meat in there. Okay, just don't
- 20:04Speaker 1: even ask that because it's in the tea. It's in
- 20:08Speaker 1: the Jellow everything German chocolate cake with meat cooking. We
- 20:18Speaker 1: got meat in the meat. It in there, pay on
- 20:27Speaker 1: the edge crush. Yeah. Wow, Well, I can't wait to
- 20:34Speaker 1: come to this party. You don't like me, show up
- 20:41Speaker 1: This cheesecake Shirley topped off with chili, real nuts, less
- 20:47Speaker 1: salt meat. Wow, there's a meat weekend right here. Yeah,
- 20:52Speaker 1: this is it. I'm a baby back man. I like
- 20:55Speaker 1: the baby backs. I like them in the bigger reals.
- 20:58Speaker 1: What about good baby side people using like baby back reading? Yeah?
- 21:05Speaker 1: What did he just say that? Yeah? He did. He
- 21:08Speaker 1: did for you like that when you get the three,
- 21:16Speaker 1: when you get that, that's one he says. Early in
- 21:18Speaker 1: the morning. He babyside, he said, he said, baby I
- 21:22Speaker 1: love baby back read. All I said was baby size people,
- 21:26Speaker 1: you love baby pat What what did I say wrong? Also,
- 21:33Speaker 1: no one else was thinking that about you, So Labor,
- 21:36Speaker 1: there's a last weekend for white. So I gotta make
- 21:38Speaker 1: a call. I keep telling you all. That's just around
- 21:41Speaker 1: the country. L A White and from Chicago. All right,
- 21:56Speaker 1: coming up next time? He's running that frank back. Uh,
- 22:00Speaker 1: this is gonna be a good one. Nephew, you're listening
- 22:03Speaker 1: to the morning show coming up at the top of
- 22:07Speaker 1: the hour, Miss Ann will be here with today's national news.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Right now, it's nephew Tommy's turn to run that prank back.
- 22:15Speaker 1: What is it? Cake lady, the cake lady? Everybody said
- 22:21Speaker 1: with me, the cake lady, Lady cake lady. That is
- 22:27Speaker 1: watch me work st cake? Did this is Barbara? Yeah?
- 22:33Speaker 1: I need to ask you what kind of cakes do
- 22:35Speaker 1: y'all make at this place? Well, so we make all
- 22:38Speaker 1: occasion cakes, birthday cakes, anniversity cakes, winding cakes, pretty much
- 22:42Speaker 1: whatever you need, what you're looking for? Did y'all be
- 22:44Speaker 1: making adult cake? Guess so a few adult cakes, you know,

- 22:55Speaker 1: this right here. I ordered a cake from you all

- 23:01Speaker 1: my daughter's school on Tuesday, and you know she and
- 23:05Speaker 1: junior high school thirteen years old. The cake was supposed
- 23:07Speaker 1: to have hand him on towna on it, and it
- 23:10Speaker 1: was supposed to say happy Birthday. Now the cake get
- 23:13Speaker 1: delivered over there today and I can't, for the life
- 23:16Speaker 1: of make believe that this is happen. Were in her classroom,
- 23:19Speaker 1: all the classmates in there, some teachers in there. The
- 23:21Speaker 1: principle that came down. We've been to have cake and
- 23:23Speaker 1: ice cream for the kids, but when they owen up
- 23:26Speaker 1: the cake, it's a man's private part on the cake.
- 23:29Speaker 1: What oh, No, sir, No, sir, no, sir, no something No.
- 23:33Speaker 1: We have never made a mistake like that. You made
- 23:37Speaker 1: that mistake that I've been calling this place all damn day.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Y'all haven't made this damn mistake. And somebody gonna pay
- 23:42Speaker 1: for this. I got you know, I got. No. You're
- 23:46Speaker 1: gonna have to low it down now, okay, because we
- 23:48Speaker 1: can't get nothing settled if you're yelling and I can't
- 23:50Speaker 1: hear you. Okay, I need the Lord that you should
- 23:52Speaker 1: have Lord that private part off that cake. That's where
- 23:55Speaker 1: I should s What is your name? My name is Trevor.
- 23:59Speaker 1: And now where was the cakes supposed to be going?

- 24:15Speaker 1: what is the owner there? Excuse me? I am the owner.
- 24:18Speaker 1: My name is Boba. Now if you give me the information,

- 30:55Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay, gracious, We want
- 31:03Speaker 1: to say gracious and thank you very much to the
- 31:05Speaker 1: people of Mexico. Mexico's Red Cross sent an envoy of
- 31:09Speaker 1: volunteers to storm devastated Houston on Wednesday, hours after Texas governor. Yeah, hours,
- 31:16Speaker 1: that really is right. Uh. This was hours after Texas
- 31:19Speaker 1: Governor Greg Abbott said the state accepted an offer of
- 31:22Speaker 1: aid from the Mexican government, including vehicles, including boats, supplies,
- 31:27Speaker 1: and food. The convoy of thirty three English speaking volunteers
- 31:32Speaker 1: left from Mexico City for Texas, where they plan to
- 31:35Speaker 1: work in Houston shelters for twenty days before being replaced
- 31:38Speaker 1: by a fresh crop of volunteers. Yeah, that's great, isn't
- 31:42Speaker 1: it that way? Absolutely? Absolutely, you know, it's it's just amazing, man,
- 31:49Speaker 1: how people can see through, you know, the foolishness that
- 31:56Speaker 1: we sometimes provide one another when it's Jeff comes down
- 32:00Speaker 1: to basic. Hey man, there's some human beings that needs
- 32:04Speaker 1: some help. So here they're coming from across the border
- 32:10Speaker 1: and unwelcome most of the time, but they still coming. Man.
- 32:15Speaker 1: That that's that's the dog on shame man. But now
- 32:18Speaker 1: we want to close the borders so you can't come
- 32:22Speaker 1: over here. Well, I'm just gonna tell you, man, if
- 32:27Speaker 1: this this whole talk about removing illegals and not allowing
- 32:32Speaker 1: people to come in, what watch? Watch what happens? You
- 32:37Speaker 1: have no idea? Are you? Are? You just ignoring the
- 32:40Speaker 1: contribution to these people actually make to the fire of
- 32:44Speaker 1: this country. You're actually ignoring it because majority people over
- 32:46Speaker 1: here not committing crime. Yes, all right, Well, last night's
- 32:56Speaker 1: NFL preseason games schedule between the how Boys and the
- 33:00Speaker 1: Texans was canceled. The Texans Football Organization released a statement
- 33:06Speaker 1: UH saying at this time, the priority of our organization
- 33:09Speaker 1: is getting our players, coaches, and staff back home to
- 33:12Speaker 1: be reninded, reunited with their families, many of whom have
- 33:15Speaker 1: been evacuated from their homes and are currently sheltered. So
- 33:19Speaker 1: we want to shout out through Houston, Texas star JJ
- 33:22Speaker 1: Wyatt to we talked about j. J. Watt excuse me,
- 33:25Speaker 1: j J. Watt. Um, he raised over six million dollars
- 33:28Speaker 1: UH donations. Yeah, that's awesome. That's awesome, awesome, awesome, So
- 33:33Speaker 1: thank you for getting involved in Congratulations to you, and
- 33:36Speaker 1: thanks to everyone who's contributed, no matter how big or
- 33:40Speaker 1: how small, you know the message that you care, you know,
- 33:43Speaker 1: and that you have compassion for your fellow man and
- 33:46Speaker 1: you're doing what you can. Thank you guys so much. Yeah,
- 33:51Speaker 1: I mean really, Um. Harvey has been downgraded to a
- 33:55Speaker 1: tropical depressure. Yeah. Not Steve me you because I get
- 34:04Speaker 1: offended because when I hear when I hear it, I'm like,
- 34:10Speaker 1: what do you do? Not? I know? And that's why
- 34:16Speaker 1: what do you do? Now? What did the guy save
- 34:18Speaker 1: to you at the fight scene last weekend? Yeah? You know,
- 34:23Speaker 1: hey man, hey Steve, won't you let up off? Texas
- 34:28Speaker 1: were like what you your ain't you you don't need? Yeah,
- 34:40Speaker 1: and they still have to get to the ess is
- 34:42Speaker 1: right but in alphabe serious though, Yeah, God was serious
- 34:48Speaker 1: because I turned you know, you know, you know, waiting
- 34:52Speaker 1: on how I'll just playing with your man turned and
- 34:55Speaker 1: in that you're probably spun on him. All right. Introduces
- 35:01Speaker 1: an ladies and gentlemen, She's here the lovely miss Anne trip.
- 35:06Speaker 1: Thank you everybody. This is a trip of the news. Okay,
- 35:08Speaker 1: starting out with this bit of news. The entire city
- 35:11Speaker 1: of Beaumont, Texas is without water today after flooding from
- 35:15Speaker 1: Harvey knocked out its water supply was knocked out yesterday.
- 35:18Speaker 1: The entire city of Beaumont, Texas no water. Hospital patients
- 35:22Speaker 1: are being airlifted out to other cities. Author he's trying
- 35:25Speaker 1: to get bottled water in the problem is Beaumont at
- 35:27Speaker 1: this point is like an island with flooded roads all
- 35:30Speaker 1: around it and leading to it, so it's difficult to
- 35:33Speaker 1: get in there with any water. But again I do
- 35:35Speaker 1: have to repeat Beaumont, Texas out of water. Meanwhile, what's
- 35:38Speaker 1: left the tropical storm Harvey, yes, has been downgraded to
- 35:41Speaker 1: tropical depression, swirling over northern Louisiana, where it's been raining heavily. Houston, however,
- 35:46Speaker 1: has seen the sun now for a day and a half.
- 35:48Speaker 1: It's drying out, but even so remains in danger of
- 35:50Speaker 1: a different kind now because there have been two explosions
- 35:53Speaker 1: at a local chemical plant. The Archema plant, located just
- 35:56Speaker 1: northeast of the city, lost power during the storm. Now
- 35:59Speaker 1: it couldn't had to refrigerate the organic pesticides that it manufactures,
- 36:03Speaker 1: otherwise they become combustible, and they haven't done that, so
- 36:06Speaker 1: there were two explosions already there. Meanwhile, Vice President Pence
- 36:10Speaker 1: is doing Texas later today. Yes, believe it or not.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Our neighbor to the south, Mexico, it has sent help
- 36:16Speaker 1: in for rescue and clean up in the wake of
- 36:18Speaker 1: Harvey's visit. President Trump says he's giving a million dollars
- 36:21Speaker 1: of his own money for relief efforts has to be said.
- 36:24Speaker 1: Officials in Harris County, Texas, which contains all of Houston,
- 36:27Speaker 1: reportedly planning to consolidate all of the Red Cross shelters
- 36:32Speaker 1: and create one big mass shelter at the n RG
- 36:34Speaker 1: Center of Silly that can house up to ten thousand people. Now,
- 36:37Speaker 1: I'll already say that things at this new mass shelter
- 36:39Speaker 1: should remain manageable, because they say the building contains a
- 36:42Speaker 1: grocery store, childcare, medical station, and some other services, so
- 36:46Speaker 1: they think could be manageable and and pretty hospitable for
- 36:50Speaker 1: people who have to stay there. Flooding, by the way,
- 36:52Speaker 1: now predicted in Kentucky and Tennessee again courtesy of tropical
- 36:56Speaker 1: depression Harvey. By the way, a lot of Americans are
- 37:00Speaker 1: set by this week's cover page of frances controversial political
- 37:03Speaker 1: magazine Charlie Epto. It reads, God exists. He drowned all
- 37:07Speaker 1: the Neo Nazis in Texas. Now. Critics point out, of course,
- 37:10Speaker 1: that while he may look like that from across the pond,
- 37:12Speaker 1: that there are hundreds of blacks, whites and Latinos who
- 37:15Speaker 1: are stranded, hungry, and shelters, and that the death toll
- 37:18Speaker 1: now stands at forty seven expected to rise in that
- 37:20Speaker 1: none of those people are members of the Nazis. Los
- 37:23Speaker 1: Angeles City Council is voted to replace the Columbus Day
- 37:26Speaker 1: holiday with quote Indigenous People's Day every second Monday in October. However,
- 37:31Speaker 1: Columbus Day will remain a federal holiday. They say supporters
- 37:34Speaker 1: felt that Columbus shouldn't be celebrated because of the brutal
- 37:37Speaker 1: way they say he treated a Native people's And finally,
- 37:40Speaker 1: today is National American Chess Day and Better Breakfast Day.
- 37:45Speaker 1: Have a better breakfast, A couple eggs on me. Eugene
- 37:48Speaker 1: the Butterfly coming back twenty minutes after the hour's day.

- 51:22Speaker 1: home to day and show my man your your wife
- 51:28Speaker 1: has been a s You're gotta quit calling me the doorman. Okay,

- 53:16Speaker 1: who know about to run your ankles. I was just
- 53:20Speaker 1: in the rush to get him on, trying to get
- 53:22Speaker 1: back to the house. Next thing you know, I just
- 53:26Speaker 1: had him in one leg, standing in the kitchen, trying
- 53:29Speaker 1: to look innocent and look down, and it was sticking
- 53:32Speaker 1: out under my pants. You should have seen me putting
- 53:36Speaker 1: that league. Okay, so I get the visual. Your draws
- 53:42Speaker 1: are down, but your pants is up. Yeah, like you
- 53:49Speaker 1: got it together and shoes on, yeah, tied off, but
- 53:58Speaker 1: all just sticking out from around you feel that big

- 54:07Speaker 1: Were they real obvious? Yeah? You know I had these
- 54:10Speaker 1: gray and yellow ones. Yeah, they were very noticeable, real obvious. Yeah,
- 54:24Speaker 1: you know my socks? Hear the funny thing the leg
- 54:32Speaker 1: that the draws were sticking out of. I didn't have
- 54:35Speaker 1: a sock on that foote How do you rein it?
- 54:40Speaker 1: How did you get out of it? That's what I wanted. Now.
- 54:43Speaker 1: I stuck my leg behind the stove. I'm telling you,
- 54:46Speaker 1: I just stuck it on the side of stove, just
- 54:49Speaker 1: stood there because I couldn't walk because they would have
- 54:51Speaker 1: seen it. Yeah, because usually there's no room behind I
- 54:55Speaker 1: just do it in the kitchen, talking like I was concerned. Uh,
- 55:00Speaker 1: just when fruit lum stopped making sucks leopard le right,

- 56:29Speaker 1: team behind Ariana Grande's One Love Manchester concert are reportedly
- 56:33Speaker 1: organizing the Star Studied event, which will take place in
- 56:36Speaker 1: l A, New York, and Nashville. You don't have to
- 56:39Speaker 1: be a celebrity to help people, though, I mean we've

- 57:17Speaker 1: you're absolutely right. President, Thank you? How that is? You know?
- 57:22Speaker 1: I mean that speaks volume as a people, you know. Yeah,
- 57:27Speaker 1: to put a wall up. Yeah, and didn't till my
- 57:30Speaker 1: win't gonna pass to budget if he don't get the
- 57:32Speaker 1: budgeting for the wall. Wall. I even saw some I
- 57:36Speaker 1: ain't got a dollar for no damn wall, but I
- 57:40Speaker 1: even saw some Musks opening their churches, you know, for
- 57:43Speaker 1: people to come through. You know, that's big as well,
- 57:47Speaker 1: you know, considers considering you know what the things that
- 57:51Speaker 1: the President said about, you know, the Muslims, the Mexicans,
- 57:55Speaker 1: all the wall, all of that. You know, thanks everyone.
- 57:58Speaker 1: The mayor in Houston, to Vesta Turner, has done an
- 58:01Speaker 1: incredible job. Yes, yes he had. That's a job from
- 58:07Speaker 1: the beginning. I mean even before the storm hit. He
- 58:09Speaker 1: was preparing you forward and getting you ready and letting
- 58:12Speaker 1: you know, if you're thinking about doing some foolishness with
- 58:14Speaker 1: Looten and all of that, I'm gonna be ready for it.
- 58:16Speaker 1: He's been on he's been on point before the storm. King.
- 58:19Speaker 1: You just see all the police officers that are coming
- 58:21Speaker 1: in from all over to give the Houston police a
- 58:24Speaker 1: break because they've been working non stop. That's the silver lining,
- 58:27Speaker 1: everybody coming together. Absolutely absolutely alright, nephew, let's do it.
- 58:32Speaker 1: Let's do it. Let's do it up and hold on time.
- 58:36Speaker 1: We got it. Starwberry letter, Okay, subject he wanted it before,
- 58:41Speaker 1: but he doesn't want it now. I surely and Steve,
- 58:47Speaker 1: I am not one to have let a man walk
- 58:50Speaker 1: over me. However, a few months back I met someone
- 58:53Speaker 1: who made me let go of the guard I had
- 58:56Speaker 1: held up in protection of my heart. In November, I
- 58:59Speaker 1: met a guy eleven years my senior, and he seemed ideal.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Despite my self professed problem with being hyper sexual. He
- 59:07Speaker 1: saw me as the intellectual female that I am, and
- 59:11Speaker 1: he treated me spectacularly. My safety mattered to him, and
- 59:15Speaker 1: he didn't mind letting me know. Fast forward six months
- 59:18Speaker 1: and I lay here crying because he claims he doesn't
- 59:21Speaker 1: want a relationship. He knows that I'm in love with him,
- 59:24Speaker 1: and he uses this because he knows that is my weakness.
- 59:27Speaker 1: He'll call upon me for sexual encounters and then makes
- 59:32Speaker 1: me tell him I love him during sex. I fell
- 59:34Speaker 1: in love with the man who was my protector many
- 59:37Speaker 1: months back, who told me things that I had never
- 59:39Speaker 1: heard before. Where did that person go? I keep trying
- 59:42Speaker 1: to break away and the cycle continues because I am
- 59:45Speaker 1: weak for this man. What am I to do? Wow? Okay,
- 59:51Speaker 1: first of all, go back to the beginning of your
- 59:53Speaker 1: letter where you say I am not the one to
- 59:55Speaker 1: have let a man walk over me? Well, where is she?
- 59:58Speaker 1: Where is that woman? What happened her? You know, I'm
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: just gonna need you to bring her back first of all,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: and I need you to wake up. Stop professing that
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: you are hyper sexual. I mean, what does that mean anyway?
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: Stuff that you know he'll use against you, he'll use
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: to manipulate you to do what he wants you to do.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: And he has you right now just where he wants you.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: I mean, you know, did he hypnotize you or something?
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: You know, he can call you on the phone, come
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: to me, and you'll just calm because he says it
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: because you're weak for him. I mean, he can't do
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: anything to you that you don't allow him to do.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: As we have said a hundred and one million times
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: on this show. You know, I just need you to
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: wake up and and be that other woman, the one
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: who doesn't let people walk over them, because clearly this
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: man is just doing what having his way with you.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: But he can't do that again unless you say it's okay,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: and you've apparently given him the okay. You know, this
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: is just crazy. He's just eleven years older than you,
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: he has more were game than you, and you know
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: in this instance he's winning. So you gotta wake up
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: and just stop letting him do this to you. Steve,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: say no, sometimes you don't have to go every time
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: he calls. Steve. First of all, Sherle, I agree with
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: everything you said. Great response. Great as Here's the way
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: I see it. Shirley's right. What happened to the woman
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: who opened up the door gate when I'm not want
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: to let him man walk all over me? You met
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: a guy eleven years, you've seen it, and he seemed ideal.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: Now here's the problem with your letter, though, despite myself
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: professed problem with being hyper sexual, see that this is
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: yourself professed problem. Why you shared that with him? I
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: do not know. Maybe it was to let him know
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: you're gonna really want it all the time, or whatever
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: whatever that means. I guess that's it. And e eleven
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: years you're seeing you Maybe you fail. It was I
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: got to tell him this how I really am not
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: it's a problem of mine, Okay, But then he saw
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: you as the intellectual female that I am, and he
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: treated me spectacling. My safety matter to him, and he
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: didn't mind letting me know. Fast forward, your crying because
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: he doesn't want a relationship. I did not hear anywhere
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: in your letter where he said he wanted a relationship.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: I didn't hear any of that. All of this is you.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: You got this figured out. You let you met someone
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: who made me let go of my god, who let
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: my guard down. You let your guard down without putting
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: your problem down. Now in this letter, I have to
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: ask you this question. Is your problem him or is
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: your problem your hyper sexual problem? Because you know if
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: it's him, then we can fix that. If hyper sexual
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: is your problem, then this is gonna occur again and
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: again and again because you're hyper sexual. But it didn't
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: say you were promiscuous. So if you love having sex
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: with these guys you meet, and that becomes the pre
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: eminent thing in the relationship. He saw your intellectual side.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: You told him just the real meat on. This is
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: my professed problem up front. So you told a guy
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: that's what you had to have, not guess what now
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: to hang on to it. All he got to do
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: is play on that. And that's what you're creating. When
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: I come back, I have a solution for you. I'm
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: actually gonna show you a way out of this. You're
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Hardy Morning. Coming up in about
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: twenty minutes another episode of bad Acting Theater starring the Chapman's.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: But come on, Steve code Cracker right now with part
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: two of Today's Strawberry Letter. Uh. He wanted it before,
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: but he doesn't want it now, how Sherle and Steve.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: I'm not wanting to let him man walk over me.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: How A few months back I met someone who made
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: me let go of the god I had held up
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: in protection of my heart. And November one, I met
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: a guy eleven years my senior, and he seemed ideal
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: despite my self professed problem with being hyper sexual. He
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: saw me as an intellectual female that I am, and
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: he treated me spectacling. My safety matter to him, and
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: he didn't mind letting me know that. Fast forward six
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: months later, I lay here crying because he claims he
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: doesn't want a relationship. He knows I'm in love with him,
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: and because of this, he uh, he knows that I'm
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: in love with him and uses this because he knows
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: that is my weakness. He'll call upon me for sexual
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: encounters and then makes me tell him I love him
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: doing sex. I fell in love with the man who
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: was my protector many months back. He told me things
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: I've never heard before. Where did that person go? I
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: keep trying to break away and the cycle continues because
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: I am weak for this man. What am I to do?
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: It's not that you're really weak for this man, It's
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: just that you have a problem. And see, once you
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: let your guard down without putting your problem down. As
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: I stated earlier, they allize your real problem. The problem
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: is you your hyper sexual. Now I looked up hyper
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: sexual because this woman obviously has diagnosed herself with the
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: real problem of being hyper sexual. Okay, here's the definition
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: of hyper sexual. It is the inability to control thoughts, feelings,
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: or sexual behavior. Your thoughts of sex, your feelings about sex,
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: and your behavior about saying your inability to control that.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: That's the definition according to the dictionary for hyper sexual. Okay,
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: once you told the man this, guess what he had
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: a new toy. Oh, I'm gonna play with the hyper
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: sexual girl. Now you didn't fell in love with a
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: problem him and you hyper sexual? Now you're the told
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: is to the guy without establishing up front what you wanted. See,
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: once again, ladies, I didn't hear and hear what a
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: man said. He wanted a relationship. He was just providing
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: protection for you. He said something as you had never
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: heard before. So damn what, I got a bunch of
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: first timelines for you, if that's the only they take.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: He eleven years older than you. He didn't done some
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: things you ain't done eleven years. Come on, man, it's
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: got being around the block. Here's here's your here's your deal.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: See you're saying here. He knows that I'm in love
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: with He knows that I'm in love with him, and
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: he uses this because he knows this is my weakness.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: Love is not your weakness. Love is a strength. Let
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: me help you understand something your weakness. Love is not
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: a weakness. Love is a strength. Ain't nothing wrong with love.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: Love overcomes, love winds. Love causes you to do right
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: when you want to do wrong. Love make you go
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: home and night. Love make you show up when you
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: feel like laying down. Love is a strength. Your weakness
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: is your problem. You need to go get some help
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: with being sexually a hyper. You need to solve that
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: problem because this is just gonna happen again and again
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: and again. But let me tell you something about me
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: and in case you're got money for a therapist. See
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: you say he uses this against me because he knows
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: I love them. Let me tell you somethbody, man, here's
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: a simple therapeutic moment you can add with any man.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: If you take away the known to a man and
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: create the unknown for a man, you're either gonna do
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: one or two things. You're gonna reignite his interests. He's
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: gonna have to work harder to keep it, or you're
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: gonna give him the out that he's looking for. Quit
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: creating the known for him, create the unknown. Quit answering
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: your phone, quit being with he wanted to, he wanna
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: hear I love you. Didn't do something to show you
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: love me just cause he's sex and you you got
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: to tell him you love it. Come on, lady, I'm
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: just giving you a cheap way out. And now you've
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: got money for therapy. You really need to go get
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: yourself looked into and get yourselves some help. But a
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: man responds to what he don't know. Please know that,
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: all right, Steve, You know we have to go email

- 1:08:59Speaker 1: I knew. Studies found the smoking weed slashes your risk
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: of having to deal with blood clots, which can lead
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: to a longer life, because you will also reduce your
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: chance of suffering a stroke. It seems that the chemical THHC,
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: which is what actually gets you high, also relaxes the
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: walls of your artery um once a week day, resulting
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: in lower blood pressure and increased blood flow to all
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: the tissues of your body. Don't do a damn thing
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: for diabetes. Don't do making you eat right? Well, yeah
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: you do, get so there you go. You don't say
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: how often though it's there supposed to be once a day. No,
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: I didn't say how often. Uh. It's just found that
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: when you smoke weed, it slashes your risk of having
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: to deal with blood clots. I think it's got to
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: be all day because when I see my sister like
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: she's been doing, you don't get upset about nothing else.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: We smokers calls you to have a stroke. They stress free. Yeah,
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: the stresses down, stress and the walls of the arter. Yeah,

- 1:17:50Speaker 1: acting theater. That god the best death ever. We gotta
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: go to break. We'll be right back. You're listening to
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: the Steven Show. Okay, we have two segments in one
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: of this break. First of all, we're gonna have more
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: Labor Day barbecue tips more. And then Tommy I hate
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: saying this, Carl, I know you will hate hearing this
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: as well, But Tommy is gonna have more etiquette on
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: side piece of Labor Day weekend. I can't yeah with that, Yeah,
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: you don't understand something wrong. But first come on with
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: grilling tips, guys. And we know it's a meat a
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: big meat day that you don't want to waste it. Now,
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: you don't want to waste it. So do you put
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: your meat on and then put your your sauce on?
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: Or you put your grill your meat and then put
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: your sauce cook. I think you let that question. You don't.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: I think it was a little backwards. That's gonna happen, y'all.
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: The other thing that's gonna happen somebody, it's gonna set
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: theirselves on fire. You know what I'm talking about? Blade
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: a blade, a blade. All the front is gonna be
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: boint up shirt. And why is that? Because they don't
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: know how much fluid you're supposed to use. That there's
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: a way to deal without all that fluid. That fluid it.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: It takes too long to cook that fluid. If you're
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: using half a can of fluid, you got a problem.
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well they're out there. You mean personally, I
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: think if you're using fluid at all, you're you're running
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: your meat. Yeah, you know they have five starters out there.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: You know, a little squares exactly just wooden paper, just
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: wood that you see start and then it helped start
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: your fire. When you use time is right. When you
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: use that all like that fluid, it takes too long
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: to burn off. It be in your meat. But you
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: know that people that's not listening, I said, they're putting
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: gas on the flames man, because the man started. Yeah,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: have the electric starters. That's just like a it's shaped
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: like a circle with two yeah coming off. You just
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: plug it up and sticking under your cold and then
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: it started to pull it off. You gotta put it
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: somewhere working. Nobody touch it for an hour. You pull
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: that thing out, man, and you ain't paying attention. You
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: touch it again, you gotta be a big problem. Yeah,
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: you're gonna have to go in the house and get
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: some butter, right, Yeah, but when your whole handed, but
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: you take some bo and wrap it and it works.
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: You're going to go to the hospital and you touch
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: your things right there by ain't gonna help because just
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: going right to the white man, Yeah, a lot of
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: you gotta be careful. Yeah, I think that's the message.
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: Just with the amount of fluid that year. I don't
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: even eat a people house if if the cook is
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: skinny at meat, you got to have somebody in that.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: Y'all got to be fat a vegan bar alright, Um,
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: so we slide into part two of this segment, uh
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: side piece of labor Day weekend things they need to
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: know right all right, let's do this because you know

- 1:25:31Speaker 1: Uh huh And what did he say? What did he say?
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: Personalist Cleveland? Okay, Well, this is something you'll be interested
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: in talking about Cleveland business. Isaiah Thomas is now a
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: Cleveland Cavalier. Alright, alright, so but you know there was
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: some concern. There was some concern after why did he leave?
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: I don't he was upstause you don't want to play
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: under the out of Lebron. He want to go somewhere
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: and be the man. Yeah, oh yeah, he gonna be
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: the man. But his damn problem now is he's on
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: a team where they're gonna double him. See, they couldn't
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: double him on the calves because they had to worry
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: about Lebron. But now he goes to Boston, they're gonna
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: lock him down, you know, get his fishing equipment together.
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: On the top score, they're gonna shift over there. When
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: they wanted Isaia to stop being the top top score,
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: they double him up in the playoffs Isaiah. Well, now
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: they can't do that Isaiah over here because they got
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: to worry about Lebron and they've traded a guy who
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: played even after his sister passed. Yes, Boston, then they're
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: gonna turn around and change trading. You got angry person
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: coming back to Boston board Yeah, yeah, yeah, k I
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: think he just really messed up on this. I don't
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: know why he lead because he didn't want to play second.
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: Because it's hard to be a championship team when your
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: point guard the leader. I don't like what you said,
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: championship team. It would be a championship TEAMD is the
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: lead score and the best player. Yeah, that's it's hard
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: to win that way. All right, Well, we'll be watching
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: this for sure. For sure, first game of the season,
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: Cleveland against Boston. Game to go to the game, Steve,
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: you don't like saying sporting event. He'd be in it. Boy,
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: did you see him at the looking up at the
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: You know, somebody sit down Steve. Anyway, I don't think
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: he didn't have a rebuttal, Steve, where are you yelling
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: when you stood up at the fight? He can't say
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: on the radio when you get paraphrase, he'll say it
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: when he's on your show. When he came over that
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: of my side, one of the things I said, knock
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: his ass out right here, Florida Rock and see your
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: people in front of me was harming. They said this
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: dude right here just said I came out right here.
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: Gram see yeah, I love that was the CEO and
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: chairman of CBS, and that's who took me to my
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: very first Super Bowl, hanging with the big dogs. So
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: what was you saying that I took a picture of
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: you on my TV on the screen posted it. Somebody
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: coming And why Steve looking like he looking at Floyd like,
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: if you don't beat his behind, I'm gonna beat your behind, Floyd, Daddy.
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: But I love how every time when I was at
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: a party, every time everybody stood up at the party,
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: Steve was up there ending up in the same time
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: have a small TV s every time you stood up,
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: he was out of frame. Do not when I'm a
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: little nine. Alright, congratulations to Isaiah Thomas. I'm sure he'll
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: bring some love to the Cavaliers. And we'll be right
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: back right after this. You're listening to the Steven Show.
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: All right, Uh, we're back. We want to say again
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: to thank you to all the volunteers, all the people
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: who are working in Texas, uh, in the recovery efforts,
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: you know, for Hurricane Harvey. How strong, how how courageous,
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: how benevolent and giving of their time. You know, these
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: people have been working NonStop for hours, some without sleep,
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: some you know, just everything. So we want to say
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: thank you to them. You guys have been down there
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: all week, Tommy and Carla because that that's your home.
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: And thank god you guys weren't affected, but man, you
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: know people that were, and you've seen the devastations that
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: when Carla, I've been trying to help people. We donate
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: it to the Red Cross because COPA churches were affiliated with.
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: We're trying to get them things that they need. So
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: you know, everybody pitching in just helps. It does just
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: That's one thing I can say about Houston is Houston
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: just dove in saying we were not going out like this,
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: that's right, and everybody just pitching in. Man, everybody's helping everybody.
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: And and that's why storm didn't break our spirit, you
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: know what I mean, we all came together as one,
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: you know, like you said, Shirtly, I was down volunteering
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: and went to the shelters uh at George R. Brown,
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: Uh Tommy and down there volunteering and we have to
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: give a shout out to you could just see how
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: exhausted they are, just the first responders and the medical staff.
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: To see doctors and nurses coming in the convention center
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: relieving the each other, making sure that people are okay,
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: and the police from all over it seems like the
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: governor and surrounding states have helped and chipped in and
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: asked for help to relieve the police officers. They have
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: been working NonStop by rescuing people and trying to protect
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: the citizens, to keep the business and the elderly. And
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: and that's why, you know, I do the um We
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: just started doing the after show Strawberry Letter Live, and
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: and I do um my fresh Strawberry Pick of the Week.
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: And this week it was Houston. It was the State
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: of Texas because I think, you know what we've talked
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: about a week, they've shown this country what it means
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: to come together and help your fellow man. You know,
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: the country, the eye was on them, and they did
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: not let us down in terms of compassion for their neighbors.
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: It didn't matter, white, Black, Latino, Asian, it did not matter.
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: You know. That's the message. After you know all the
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: horrific things that have happened, you know, in the few
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: weeks and stuff, it lets you see love. That's what
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: I saw. I mean, you saw the devastation, but you know,
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: the flip side of that was the love and the
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: caring for your fellow man, and that's what life is
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: all about. The city officials made sure that stores, hotels
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: didn't start checking up their prices on everything, price gouging
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: and just making stuff just crazy expensive, especially at a
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: time like this. So it was good they were on
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: top of it as as much as they could be. Man,
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: And you didn't see any incidences of looting and things
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: like that that you see sometimes, you know, when devastation
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: like this occurs. You didn't see any of that. So
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: my hat comes off to Houston, I should say, for
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: showing just love and I'm just so you know, I
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: was so moved and touched by that. And the Texans
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: football team they stepped up. Big Watt has raised over
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: six million dollars now has a new goal of ten
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: million dollars. He'll get it. Shout out to athletes that
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: are making the difference. They care about their hometown, their
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: families live. Yeah, yeah in this city. So one more time, Shirley,
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: please give about the Red Cross donation information. It's red
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: Cross dot org. If you want to donate, if you
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: want to help, it's one red Cross, and it's texting
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: the word Harvey to nine zero nine nine nine we'll
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: be right back. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: All right, here we go. Just one more thing, last
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: break of the day. Good day, uh Steve. Yesterday we
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: played comedian Michael Blackson's Instagram message to Z List celebrities
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: who want to donate. Yeah, not a list like Kevin
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: Hart asked for. We loved his message and we just
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: wanted to play it again. Uh. Here it is. Take
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: a listen. Shout out to Kevin Hard and the rock
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: Autumn A list celebrities for sending dollars to Houston. But
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: just because you don't have dollars doesn't mean you have
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: to send nothing at all. Today, I'm challenging these zealous
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: celebrities that look rich but I'm broke, people like myself.
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: J to Z A challenge all of you right now.
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: This is your fly fifty dollars. Send it right now.

- 1:34:40Speaker 1: Stop overs seven five dollars. Bobby. We don't want your money,
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: but don't want your money. You don't have to you broke.

- 1:35:09Speaker 1: showing the previews of it now. Yeah, I look forward
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: to listen. Who knew there was? I know you have
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: a random that was the one they didn't want the
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: money is just somebody I don't Yeah, gotta bat he
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: gotta take care anyway, God, God, don't I got your shoes,
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: I got your keys, your voice on this? Oh man,
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: come on, dog man. They did that to me one
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: time I was in I think it was Orto or Houston.
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: That was a club across the street where a lot
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: of guys went, and you know, you know, man, they
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: crossed dressed, they dressed in dragged they they really dressed
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: up and there was an eye hop across the street,
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: and so I was in the eye hop with Boomerang
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: and one and we was eating one night after a
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: show that I just did, either Earthquakes Club or something
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: down there a long time ago. And the club let
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: out and they was coming across the street and someone
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: was like like dazzling, like really had the hair, the
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: gowns all stuff. I don't know what was going on,
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: and so I spoke to a cop. Hey, Steve Harvey,
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: and I spoke, you know, I'm cool, And so I
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: get up. We finished eating and this big dude comes up,
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: but he got on this girl clothes and everything, but
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: he was a dude, you know. And he said, Steve, look,
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: I just need an autograph man for my mom and
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: she's a big fan of yours. I said, all right, man,
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: no problem, So I'm giving them the autograph. He said not,
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: you know, you know many this was before phone cameras.
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: He said, no, I want you to turn around and
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: look in the window, and all his friends was in
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: the window wavering. He said, I told him I was
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: coming to get your phone number. Man, He said, just
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: signed autograph. I'm just messing with you. But I told him.
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: I man, I said, man, he said, stud, we just
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: big fans of yours, that's all. Were just tripped and
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: having a good time. Man, I appreciate it, y'all. Go ahead,
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: that's just give me the autograph. Hey, we were talking
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: about Floyd Mayweather just a couple of minutes ago. This
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: thirty one year old man. I don't know if you
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: guys heard about this. He was an m M A fan.
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: He was so sure that Connor McGregor would win the
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: fight on Saturday against Floyd that he made a bet
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: with his business partner, uh, with the loser agreeing to
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: get a tattoo of the winning fighter's face. So he
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: had to follow through, and now he has a big
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: tattoo of Mayweather's face on his leg. He said he
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: doesn't regret making the bet, and he has no plans
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: to hide the ink. Instead, he'll gladly tell the story
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: of the tattoo to anyone who asked for the rest
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: of his life, because it's gonna be on there for
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: the rest of his life. What a bet, that's what
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: the bet? She said. I know what I say it,
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: but I'm not doing Yeah, I know what I said.
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: He think of something else? I'll pay you, but think
- 1:38:37Speaker 1: of something else. But I'm not doing that. That's not happening. Yeah,
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: I heard that, you know what I said, But I'm
- 1:38:46Speaker 1: not doing what. Man ain't hurt bet what I know
- 1:39:05Speaker 1: what I said. I'm away what I said what I
- 1:39:08Speaker 1: ain't doing it. But again, our prayers and and everything
- 1:39:15Speaker 1: go out to the people in the Texas area that
- 1:39:17Speaker 1: we're affected from Hurricane Harvey. I know you don't like
- 1:39:21Speaker 1: to to hear that name, Steve, but that is the name.
- 1:39:26Speaker 1: What do you do now? It's you again. If you
- 1:39:35Speaker 1: want to donate, call one red Cross, or you can
- 1:39:39Speaker 1: go online to red Cross dot org. Or you can
- 1:39:41Speaker 1: text the word Harvey to nine zero nine nine nine
- 1:39:46Speaker 1: and make a donation. And please help if you can.
- 1:39:49Speaker 1: And thanks to all the people who are down there
- 1:39:51Speaker 1: volunteering and helping. Yeah, bringing the country together. Thank you guys,
- 1:39:56Speaker 1: so very very much. All right, Steve, take us home.
