  Thinking today of 1 Samuel 10, 10.

  When they came to the hill there, behold, a group of prophets met him.

  The hymn is Saul.

  And the Spirit of the Lord came upon him mightily, so that he, Saul, prophesied among them.

  Here, Saul's with a group of prophets and begins a prophecy.

  He was speaking on behalf of God.

  He was telling it like it is.

  He was doing what they do.
• 0:28
  This was surely a great day for him.

  It did make him a prophet.

  He wasn't a priest.
• 0:34
  He was going to be king.
• 0:35
  In the verses following, they'll be asking if he is among the prophets.

  But doing what someone else can do doesn't make you one of them.

  It really seems to show that God was with him at this time.

  And the same kind of thing happens for us.

  We get out there in the world, doing what the world does,
• 0:51
  and we start to think that we're part of the world.

  But you're not.
• 0:54
  If you're a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, this is not your home.

  You're not part of the world.
• 0:59
  You're always going to feel a little uncomfortable,

  even if you do all the things that the world does.

  Now, if you feel perfectly comfortable in the world doing the things that the world does,

  maybe you are part of the world.

  But that's not good.

  Jesus came, died on the cross, and rose again on the third day

  to demonstrate to us that he had paid for sins and bought for us new life.

  Accept new life in Jesus today.

  Then be a little uncomfortable in the world.

  Even if you can do the things that they can do, it doesn't mean that you should.

  Your personal relationship with Jesus is the most important thing.

  Be encouraged today.

  God loves you.

  Send his son Jesus to pay for your sins and to be your Lord and to remain with you.
