- 0:19Speaker 1: me through good it sting to move to other stole,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join joining me. You gotta turn hur you
- 1:22Speaker 1: are you gotta turn to turn them out? Turn you
- 1:43Speaker 1: lon't got to turn them out? Then turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water go. Come come on your fad uh huh,
- 2:01Speaker 1: I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:05Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:09Speaker 1: got a radio show man, Yeah, I do. Man. God
- 2:14Speaker 1: been good to me. Man, He's been so good to me. Wow.
- 2:22Speaker 1: You know why I say it like that. What makes
- 2:23Speaker 1: it amazing is because it's been in spite of myself.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I mean you know what I mean by that. I
- 2:30Speaker 1: mean I mean that he's been good to me in
- 2:34Speaker 1: spite of all the craziness I've done, all the foolishness
- 2:39Speaker 1: I've gotten myself involved with, and not only got but
- 2:43Speaker 1: knowingly got myself involved with, all of the stupid decisions
- 2:49Speaker 1: I've made. Put all that to the side, and he's
- 2:54Speaker 1: still been good to me. Bring it all and put
- 2:57Speaker 1: it on the plate, and he's still been good to man.
- 3:00Speaker 1: That's amazing man. And I'm sure there's a lot of
- 3:03Speaker 1: people that can say the exact same thing. I mean,
- 3:06Speaker 1: come on, man, I got you, ain't famous, I got anybody,
- 3:09Speaker 1: got no microphone in your face, I got nobody, ain't
- 3:12Speaker 1: got no spotlight on you. I got nobody, ain't got
- 3:14Speaker 1: no came in your face. I got nobody problem. Ain't
- 3:16Speaker 1: your body blogging about you. But let me tell you something.
- 3:19Speaker 1: If you break it down and be real about it, Oh,
- 3:22Speaker 1: you haven't done something outside the box. You haven't done
- 3:25Speaker 1: something ladies included. You've done something out the box. You
- 3:28Speaker 1: woke up and went what did I do that for? Oh?
- 3:32Speaker 1: We've all done it. So when all that said and done,
- 3:37Speaker 1: God still loves you, man, God still loves you, still
- 3:41Speaker 1: wants you the best for you, still considers you his child.
- 3:44Speaker 1: And and it's willing, it's willing man to show you
- 3:48Speaker 1: your future. He is willing to show you your life.
- 3:52Speaker 1: He is willing to let you take a peek at
- 3:55Speaker 1: the blueprint. Man. That's an amazing God right there. Because
- 3:59Speaker 1: I don't I know, I couldn't do it. I couldn't
- 4:02Speaker 1: do it. I'm glad it's him, you know. Today, Man,
- 4:05Speaker 1: I want to encourage brothers out there. And when I
- 4:07Speaker 1: say brothers, I'm talking to everybody that's of the male species.
- 4:11Speaker 1: I don't care about your color. I really really don't.
- 4:13Speaker 1: I don't even have time for that in my day.
- 4:15Speaker 1: A matter a matter of fact. Sometimes when you get
- 4:17Speaker 1: to discussing race, I just get tired of it. Sometimes
- 4:20Speaker 1: I just wish, you know, some days I just want
- 4:23Speaker 1: to wake up, just do me. You know, I got
- 4:26Speaker 1: what what the skin tone is. I got that. But
- 4:29Speaker 1: I just want to wake up some days and just
- 4:31Speaker 1: going buy my business and do me. I don't want
- 4:33Speaker 1: to have to deal with it. Sometimes I get tired
- 4:34Speaker 1: of talking about the issues. Ain't gonna make them go away,
- 4:37Speaker 1: But sometimes I get tired. So the damn talking to brothers,
- 4:40Speaker 1: all the brothers of the male species. I'm talking about
- 4:42Speaker 1: men today. Man, If if you ain't doing it all,
- 4:48Speaker 1: if you're feeling empty, man, start today completing your process
- 4:52Speaker 1: and your journey. And you know what I'm saying by that,
- 4:55Speaker 1: if there's a part of you just missing as a man,
- 4:59Speaker 1: and and now, man, I'm talking to you. So you know,
- 5:02Speaker 1: some ladies listening. But you know what I'm talking about.
- 5:05Speaker 1: It it's some part of you that's missing as a man,
- 5:08Speaker 1: if you ain't really been in touch with your kids
- 5:11Speaker 1: like you supposed to now for whatever the reason is.
- 5:14Speaker 1: And please no, I do understand how sometimes women can
- 5:20Speaker 1: use children as pawns. It happens all the time. I've
- 5:24Speaker 1: been through it. I've been through it, man, I know
- 5:27Speaker 1: what it feels like, man to want to do something.
- 5:30Speaker 1: But because you ain't got this, or you ain't doing this,
- 5:33Speaker 1: then I ain't gonna let you have this. You gotta
- 5:35Speaker 1: fight through, fellas, you got to fight through. You got
- 5:40Speaker 1: to fulfill your end of a deal. And I got
- 5:44Speaker 1: how difficult they're making it. I got how man, it's
- 5:47Speaker 1: gonna come with some drama, but you gotta fight through it,
- 5:51Speaker 1: because man, we need fathers to be fathers. That's really
- 5:54Speaker 1: what we need. If you're a man out there and
- 5:57Speaker 1: you are a father of a child, we need you
- 5:59Speaker 1: to do your job. We I'm talking about the our community,
- 6:04Speaker 1: our situation, us as a people, all of us. We
- 6:09Speaker 1: need you to be a father. Period. Hey man, I
- 6:14Speaker 1: ain't coming down on you. I'm just your boy. I'm
- 6:17Speaker 1: your man, and I've been in the same predicament, in
- 6:21Speaker 1: the same hole myself, where I couldn't get to them,
- 6:24Speaker 1: where they were used as pawns, where they were told
- 6:28Speaker 1: things about me that wasn't even true. I've been through it.
- 6:32Speaker 1: You can't see them, you don't come okay, okay, I
- 6:34Speaker 1: got all that. You ain't sent this. You ain't okay, Hey, hey,
- 6:37Speaker 1: got all that. If if you can call them sometimes,
- 6:42Speaker 1: tell them you're thinking about them, Tell them you love them.
- 6:46Speaker 1: If you can get a letter to them, if you
- 6:48Speaker 1: can get a message to your children through one of
- 6:51Speaker 1: your relatives, start the process today. Be a father. It's
- 6:57Speaker 1: your job now. Because you ignoring them, or you acting
- 7:01Speaker 1: like they ain't over there, or you don't back him
- 7:03Speaker 1: out of your mind because the situation got too difficult.
- 7:06Speaker 1: I got that, I got that. But you got to
- 7:09Speaker 1: step up and be fatherless. You got to write a letter.
- 7:13Speaker 1: You gotta send the money if she talking about it.
- 7:15Speaker 1: If you don't send all the money, you ain't gonna
- 7:17Speaker 1: see him. Send what you got if she if taking
- 7:19Speaker 1: it over there's too much drama, Send it through a relative,
- 7:22Speaker 1: Give it to a mama, give it to her sister,
- 7:24Speaker 1: ask her to take it over there and do something
- 7:26Speaker 1: for the baby, because okay, okay, you can't deal with
- 7:29Speaker 1: the drama. I got that, and I know it's much
- 7:32Speaker 1: to pay when you have to deal with that, because
- 7:35Speaker 1: clearly I know hell have no fury like a woman scorn.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Please know. I know that. Please know. And that's a
- 7:41Speaker 1: real statement. That ain't no saying. Steve got that, that's
- 7:45Speaker 1: the truth. But do what you gotta do. Sometimes you
- 7:50Speaker 1: have to apologize. Sometimes an apology goes a long way
- 7:54Speaker 1: to your children. Just hey, look, because I've made this
- 7:58Speaker 1: apology before. Hey man, look, I'm sorry. I wasn't there
- 8:03Speaker 1: for you. I was out grinding and hustling, and I
- 8:06Speaker 1: wasn't paying attention to you, and I should have been.
- 8:10Speaker 1: And I apologize now. I imagine, man, there's days where
- 8:13Speaker 1: you was telling people I was your father up at
- 8:15Speaker 1: the school and they wasn't believing you. I apologized for
- 8:18Speaker 1: sending you through that. But now, ma'am, I tell you what.
- 8:22Speaker 1: I made some mistakes, and I got it together. I
- 8:25Speaker 1: want me and you to move forward as father and son.
- 8:28Speaker 1: I want me and you to move forward as father
- 8:30Speaker 1: and daughter. I want to be in your life. I
- 8:33Speaker 1: ain't got a lot, but guess what I know a lot,
- 8:36Speaker 1: because if you're a man and you a father, please
- 8:38Speaker 1: know you know something that child don't know. You have information,
- 8:41Speaker 1: you have experience. That's all they need sometimes to have
- 8:45Speaker 1: somebody to talk to. That daughter yours just needs to
- 8:48Speaker 1: know from her daddy, how should a man treat me? Dad?
- 8:53Speaker 1: What should I look for in a man? See, they'll
- 8:56Speaker 1: take that information from you because they know it's coming
- 8:59Speaker 1: from the right place. And then you know that your
- 9:02Speaker 1: son needs you because you know how difficult it is
- 9:05Speaker 1: if you're trying to be a man without your daddy.
- 9:08Speaker 1: You already know how funky that is right there. So
- 9:12Speaker 1: come on, man, admit your mistakes and move forward. Call
- 9:15Speaker 1: your kids, write a letter, get a phone number on them,
- 9:19Speaker 1: send a text, drop a message, send a note up
- 9:22Speaker 1: to the school. Do something. Man. If those of us
- 9:27Speaker 1: that are fathers would just be fathers, I could shut
- 9:31Speaker 1: the mentory and camp down. Now. I will say I
- 9:36Speaker 1: apologize because I don't want you to think I'm coming
- 9:38Speaker 1: down on you. But I've been through this myself. I
- 9:41Speaker 1: ain't really coming down. I'm just reminding you this is
- 9:44Speaker 1: our job. These are our children, this is our responsibility.
- 9:48Speaker 1: We all men. There is no excuses you don't get
- 9:52Speaker 1: you don't get cut a break on that one. Sorry
- 9:55Speaker 1: you're listening. Well, well, well, well, well, good morning everybody.
- 10:05Speaker 1: This is Steve Harvey Morning Show. Uh huh. Well today
- 10:11Speaker 1: is probably like no other day in the history of
- 10:14Speaker 1: our nation, as they say, and so let us begin
- 10:20Speaker 1: this day. We got a lot to talk about today,
- 10:23Speaker 1: I mean a lot to talk about. We got a
- 10:26Speaker 1: lot to cover before we get started. Pray for me.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Why as your feel as leader. I don't say nothing crazy,
- 10:39Speaker 1: I'm doing it right now. Pray Hey man. Funniest me
- 10:43Speaker 1: my saw of the new year was Bishop Getty's my
- 10:46Speaker 1: buddy down in South Carolina. Bishop Getty sent me a
- 10:50Speaker 1: mean at the beginning of the year, and he's a pastor.
- 10:54Speaker 1: He said, for those of you that prayed in twenty
- 10:59Speaker 1: twenty last year, we're gonna need y'all to sit this
- 11:02Speaker 1: one out. Yeah, everybody that prayed twenty twenty years last year,
- 11:09Speaker 1: we need y'all to sit this one out this year.
- 11:12Speaker 1: That was your year. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Your
- 11:15Speaker 1: prayer don't work to leave. But we got a lot
- 11:17Speaker 1: of time. But what's up. Shirley Strawberry, Hey, good morning,
- 11:19Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. How are you I'm good. I'm good calling
- 11:22Speaker 1: for Rell. Good morning, Steve. What's up? One and only
- 11:26Speaker 1: one time? Kill Spage Junior? Morning? Everybody morning? Uh that
- 11:32Speaker 1: damn nephew, Tommy Top Top whoa boy? Let me tell
- 11:39Speaker 1: you Saturday yesterday, y'all time watching that off? Oh many caller.
- 11:47Speaker 1: I couldn't even go to bed. I fell asleep watching it.
- 11:52Speaker 1: I woke back up at two. I've been up since too,
- 11:54Speaker 1: Like what I miss Yeah, recap, I missed the ending
- 11:58Speaker 1: of it, them coming to the conclusion. Tell me what
- 12:03Speaker 1: you need Tommy, because I saw it. I got that
- 12:08Speaker 1: this morning. I just couldn't stay up that later. I
- 12:11Speaker 1: was like, okay, now seven of the after after the riot, Yes,
- 12:18Speaker 1: and they came back. You know, they had planned on
- 12:22Speaker 1: dealing with Georgia Arizona, Pennsylvania, and it was gonna take
- 12:26Speaker 1: break two hour break after each one injection objection, and
- 12:30Speaker 1: they had quite a few senators after the riot, and
- 12:35Speaker 1: they came back. Dy't have but seven and Ted Crews
- 12:40Speaker 1: is the ring leader. This Howard his whole speech. Do
- 12:46Speaker 1: you know what they hanging the hat on that this happened,
- 12:49Speaker 1: that they pulled this off? They done this once before
- 12:52Speaker 1: and that's what they was going on? Do you know?
- 12:54Speaker 1: Do you know it was one hundred and forty years
- 12:56Speaker 1: ago the example that they're using. I was going what
- 13:01Speaker 1: But anyway, man, we got a lot to talk about.
- 13:04Speaker 1: You know, I would prefer to take calls today if
- 13:06Speaker 1: y'all eight seven, seven twenty nine, Steve, watch all right,
- 13:27Speaker 1: We'll be back with more popcorn television in a minute.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening Steve Morning Show. All right,
- 13:38Speaker 1: here we are Steve Harvey Morning Show. Good morning to you.
- 13:42Speaker 1: The day after attacked terrorists. I'm sorry, hold on, somebody
- 13:51Speaker 1: said what I was dancing in the dustry. Somebody told
- 13:59Speaker 1: me that it mustood not being me. Foods in the street,
- 14:08Speaker 1: people climbing walls. What the hell hell's going on? A
- 14:14Speaker 1: dog sut them down? People climbing a straight up wall?
- 14:20Speaker 1: Why was I sitting there washing? One of them would
- 14:23Speaker 1: fall at now? Man, y'all, but really, don't I mean
- 14:32Speaker 1: we we as a people had to be sitting there
- 14:35Speaker 1: looking at this yesterday, first of all, in sheer dis
- 14:39Speaker 1: belief that it had been allowed to go on this
- 14:44Speaker 1: far and this long, because we listen, that wasn't a
- 14:50Speaker 1: black person watching this, That wasn't going well when when
- 14:57Speaker 1: when five? Yeah? Yeah, what a rubber bullets? What a
- 15:04Speaker 1: five gas? Yeas and tag somebody? Black people were sitting
- 15:13Speaker 1: there going and we wasn't. We wasn't hoping it would
- 15:17Speaker 1: happen to them. I don't want to say that what
- 15:19Speaker 1: we were sitting there was wondering why it wasn't happening
- 15:23Speaker 1: to him, but at the same time knowing full way
- 15:26Speaker 1: or why it wasn't happening to him. Even the white
- 15:29Speaker 1: commentators were saying that enough, this were the Black lives
- 15:32Speaker 1: movement out here, Even they were saying that and acknowledging
- 15:37Speaker 1: that yesterday. You're absolutely I've never seen it take so
- 15:40Speaker 1: long from the crowd starts pushing on police. You know,
- 15:46Speaker 1: first of all, this is the same the exactly these
- 15:49Speaker 1: are these people right here who was so adamant, these
- 15:52Speaker 1: types of people who were so adamant against the Black
- 15:55Speaker 1: Lives Matter movement. These are the same people that was
- 16:00Speaker 1: whipping the police ass whose blue lives they said mattered? More?
- 16:06Speaker 1: Come on, they just yes, And I'm just aren't these
- 16:13Speaker 1: the same people who said the black lives don't matter.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Blue lives matter? But oh but it only it only
- 16:20Speaker 1: matters what unless you mad right. And see, this was
- 16:24Speaker 1: the shock of yesterday was that it was well, Steve,
- 16:32Speaker 1: it was they were protesting because he was no longer
- 16:36Speaker 1: in office because he lost. We protest because police are
- 16:40Speaker 1: killing us, our armed black men and women in the hell.
- 16:43Speaker 1: I mean, you know what I'm saying. That's a major difference.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Our protest is because you killing us your protests and
- 16:51Speaker 1: your looting and breaking in and rioting. And let's put
- 16:54Speaker 1: it all in perspective. This was a mob who was rioting,
- 16:59Speaker 1: looting the highest building that represents our democracy. There wasn't
- 17:04Speaker 1: the wind is that got set on fire? No, no, no,
- 17:08Speaker 1: They went in there and told up the Capitol Building,
- 17:12Speaker 1: the Building of democracy because their leader told them, told
- 17:17Speaker 1: them that this was an illegal election. The sad party
- 17:21Speaker 1: is they believe him. He has really convinced all these
- 17:25Speaker 1: people that this was an illegal election. Man, This dude
- 17:28Speaker 1: right here sent those people up there. Yeah, and he
- 17:32Speaker 1: said he was going to walk with them. He said
- 17:34Speaker 1: that too. You sent some people down there who was
- 17:38Speaker 1: dressed in camouflage, had on vests and war helmets, twist ties,
- 17:44Speaker 1: they had batons on them. I'm sure a lot of
- 17:47Speaker 1: them were armed. Caused their license to carry and you
- 17:51Speaker 1: sent those people dressed in so many had on fatigues
- 17:57Speaker 1: and camouflage, and it looked like an army and military
- 18:01Speaker 1: where military gear, That's what it looked like. But when
- 18:04Speaker 1: we protested, just like Shirley said, for a police officer
- 18:07Speaker 1: putting somebody on a man's neck minutes and killing him,
- 18:12Speaker 1: you're comparing. You're comparing that. There is no So what
- 18:16Speaker 1: happened yesterday because your president is throwing a tantrum because
- 18:19Speaker 1: he's lost, because he lost lost this madman in the
- 18:23Speaker 1: White House. Yeah, that's all it is. We have real
- 18:26Speaker 1: issues here, real life and death issues. Broken phone calls
- 18:34Speaker 1: we have. Yeah, yeah, let's go because I could talk
- 18:36Speaker 1: about this almore. Yeah before you we will. All right,
- 18:40Speaker 1: Line one, let's go to Elliot out of New York City. Elliot, good,
- 18:46Speaker 1: Come on, Elliott, tell me what's on your mind. I
- 18:52Speaker 1: am to us that man coward either a joke and
- 19:00Speaker 1: I'm glad he shot it. M hmm. Yeah. You know, man,
- 19:06Speaker 1: we all know every black person watching was sitting there
- 19:10Speaker 1: going if that was us, Oh yeah, this wouldn't go
- 19:13Speaker 1: nothing like this. First of all, it wouldn't took that
- 19:15Speaker 1: loan to get no reinforcements. We wouldn't have got up
- 19:18Speaker 1: those steps. All right. First of all, dog, somebody gonna
- 19:22Speaker 1: get shot. We're gonna stop this right now. Yeah, all
- 19:25Speaker 1: this pushing back and chase, and when they chase that
- 19:27Speaker 1: brother up them steps, and he kept turning around trying
- 19:30Speaker 1: to hold them back. And the little the little uglass
- 19:33Speaker 1: heeled billy with the beard kept walking towards him. Man,
- 19:36Speaker 1: I don't know, but now I knew wasn't gonna happen.
- 19:38Speaker 1: But I kept sawing the video. I just man. Yeah,
- 19:41Speaker 1: let's line too. Joe out of Brooklyn for he started Joe,
- 19:48Speaker 1: good morning, Joe had what's up? Go ahead, Joe got
- 19:55Speaker 1: one minute. What's on your mind? Bro? Donald Trump should
- 19:58Speaker 1: be charged with treating They could charge him with treas
- 20:01Speaker 1: him because you went against this country, country, right, and
- 20:04Speaker 1: the people walk with him or more dumb and stupid? Yeah, yeah,
- 20:12Speaker 1: you really, man, because listen to me. Just because this
- 20:18Speaker 1: man said he got robbed in the election. You you
- 20:23Speaker 1: you don't have to be stupid enough to believe him.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Right now, I know why the politicians did it, because
- 20:31Speaker 1: they trying to stay on the side of them. Send
- 20:32Speaker 1: me million people that voted for exactly they got a higher,
- 20:36Speaker 1: they got a higher wrong, and they right. But the
- 20:41Speaker 1: regular people I fell sorry, I think the lord, I'm
- 20:46Speaker 1: not that ignorant. All right, the prank phone call. Run
- 20:48Speaker 1: that prank back with the nephew coming up right after this.
- 20:51Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, coming up
- 20:56Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, Congress certifies Joe Biden's victor. Actually,
- 21:00Speaker 1: don't worry about that. I got comment for you. Okay,
- 21:02Speaker 1: go ahead, y'all see the picture or the white man
- 21:06Speaker 1: that's in Nancy Pelosi's office leaning back with his foot
- 21:09Speaker 1: up on the chair and left the note that said
- 21:12Speaker 1: we will knock back down. Yes, yes, today his whole
- 21:17Speaker 1: damn family isn't battery. And I'll take something metal too.
- 21:21Speaker 1: This as going to prison. Yes, you gonna have your
- 21:27Speaker 1: foot up on the cot in about six months only,
- 21:33Speaker 1: that's right, That's right, Yeah, all right. We'll be talking
- 21:37Speaker 1: about this all morning because this was this was just
- 21:40Speaker 1: the worst anyway, I mean, you know, for lack of
- 21:45Speaker 1: a better term, right, but coming up, Uh, A lot
- 21:49Speaker 1: to talk about, like I said, but right now, the
- 21:50Speaker 1: nephew is here to make us laugh a little bit.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Would run that prank back what you got for us? Nap,
- 21:55Speaker 1: we got bad potlove, bad potlove though shout out, oh yeah, Hello, Hello,
- 22:04Speaker 1: I'm trying to fry on Heather. Excuse me what you say?
- 22:08Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a Heather Heather. How are you okay? Okay, listen,
- 22:14Speaker 1: I got your number from from Lois. Look that's my mama.
- 22:18Speaker 1: I'm my reach. I'm Lowi's oldest son. Now wait wait
- 22:22Speaker 1: excuse me, Lois. Who's Lowis okas? Yes? Yes, yes, Hi?
- 22:28Speaker 1: How are you? I'm good? You you you you? You
- 22:31Speaker 1: was at a Mama Themes house on on New Year's Day? Yes, yes,
- 22:37Speaker 1: was the okay when I got When I got there,
- 22:39Speaker 1: you was gone. But what I'm what I'm calling about
- 22:42Speaker 1: it is you don't want made the black eyed peas,
- 22:45Speaker 1: right I did you enjoy them? No? I enjoy the mother.
- 22:50Speaker 1: That's why I'm calling. Let me say this here, let
- 22:54Speaker 1: me say this. No, no, no no, come at work. You
- 22:56Speaker 1: can't talk to me like this. Don't do that, don't
- 22:58Speaker 1: do that. Say whatever you gotta say, but please don't
- 23:00Speaker 1: curse that me. Don't tell no. No, your beans got
- 23:05Speaker 1: my mom checked up and I didn't have to go
- 23:08Speaker 1: down to the doctor. You're my stomach pomp. I ain't
- 23:10Speaker 1: got no damn insurance none. This you know this, this,
- 23:13Speaker 1: this didn't have me messed up for the last week.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Number for the loans to tell you exactly you know
- 23:21Speaker 1: how your damn things is? Okay? First of all, okay,
- 23:26Speaker 1: I told you ask. I'm at work, I'm around all
- 23:29Speaker 1: these white people. I can't talk to you the way
- 23:31Speaker 1: I want to talk to you. But let me just
- 23:33Speaker 1: tell you this. Don't call me with the dumb. First
- 23:36Speaker 1: of all, it was a whole bunch of food there.
- 23:38Speaker 1: How do you know how can you single out my
- 23:40Speaker 1: damn beans that made you sit with all that got
- 23:42Speaker 1: food there. You're not gonna blame me. Get the out
- 23:45Speaker 1: of here, mama. Mama Dean says you are the one
- 23:47Speaker 1: to make the blase you. I don't give us your
- 23:49Speaker 1: mama being said. It was all this food there, and
- 23:52Speaker 1: you're gonna single out my beans. Nobody else complained, you
- 23:55Speaker 1: know what the day's date is okay, And not one
- 23:57Speaker 1: other person called me about the beans, and by the
- 24:01Speaker 1: as a matter of fact, other people were complimenting me.
- 24:03Speaker 1: So for you to call me with the dumb all
- 24:06Speaker 1: late and wrong, gonna blame me pie because you need
- 24:09Speaker 1: a doctor's appointment. You should have got Obamacare when it
- 24:11Speaker 1: was available to you. And how you want to call
- 24:13Speaker 1: me with no no, no, no, no no no, so you
- 24:16Speaker 1: could tell or whatever somebody you're trying to blame somebody
- 24:21Speaker 1: else's food. Joe beings my stomach up. And that's where
- 24:25Speaker 1: then that's where it falls down to. And at the
- 24:27Speaker 1: end of the day, your friends, you know the hell,
- 24:31Speaker 1: I ain't what doctor bill you said you wan't have insurance,
- 24:35Speaker 1: So how does the hell is you go? I had
- 24:38Speaker 1: to play out my pocket to get my stomach pumps. Okay,
- 24:41Speaker 1: well taking care of if you paid out your pocket,
- 24:44Speaker 1: that means the bill is paying so you can get
- 24:46Speaker 1: you gonna reimbse reward. No, I'm not going to reimburse
- 24:49Speaker 1: you with okay and fast. I got more beans for
- 24:52Speaker 1: you since you got a problem with them. I got
- 24:54Speaker 1: a whole bowl for you. Okay, how about because you're foolished,
- 24:58Speaker 1: so if it made you, that's good for you. Hey, look, look,
- 25:01Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you this here right now. Uh, the
- 25:03Speaker 1: bill with four hundred and seventy two dollars, I need
- 25:06Speaker 1: four hundred and sent me two yellars for your bulls
- 25:10Speaker 1: things no, no, no, no, you're not getting the money
- 25:14Speaker 1: from me. And I need to go because I got
- 25:16Speaker 1: work to do. I don't know what you got to do.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Spend it all this time on the phone talk about
- 25:19Speaker 1: something with all that food. So the rice didn't do it,
- 25:22Speaker 1: the meat didn't do it. They had some other gravy.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Gravy always people up that didn't do it. You want
- 25:28Speaker 1: to sing about my beans out of here. Don't be
- 25:31Speaker 1: calling me with this dumb you know what? Now? Company
- 25:34Speaker 1: who gave me your number? Because I don't even know you.
- 25:36Speaker 1: I do know your mom, A little mama Mama Bean
- 25:39Speaker 1: gave me your number. I called Mama Mama Dean passing
- 25:42Speaker 1: out numbers. Well, I'm gonna call Mama Dean and I'm
- 25:45Speaker 1: gonna see if anybody else got sick, which I know
- 25:47Speaker 1: they didn't because your ass is fullish. So I'm gonna
- 25:50Speaker 1: call her see if anybody got sick. How about we
- 25:52Speaker 1: do it that way. And I also I'm gonna call
- 25:54Speaker 1: your mother. Okay, I'm gonna call miss Lewis and see
- 25:57Speaker 1: why her dad son is calling me on the phone
- 26:00Speaker 1: because this is something. I'm sick inside of this phone call,
- 26:04Speaker 1: and nothing was wrong with my beans if anything something
- 26:06Speaker 1: wrong with you, and so take an accident, clear your
- 26:09Speaker 1: ass out and keep it the moving if you're gonna
- 26:12Speaker 1: get off my Okay, okay, okay, they say they say
- 26:16Speaker 1: Tommy had some problem with the bags through. First of all,
- 26:21Speaker 1: I don't even know no God, Tommy, I barely know
- 26:24Speaker 1: your mom. I just know her by face. I don't
- 26:26Speaker 1: even know her know her. So Tommy, you I'm calling
- 26:30Speaker 1: Mamma Deane. She ain't got nobodiness getting my mother number
- 26:33Speaker 1: to nobody. This is what you what you want me
- 26:37Speaker 1: to I've just told you I don't know anybody named Tommy,
- 26:41Speaker 1: So you can tell him whatever you want to tell him.
- 26:44Speaker 1: And if you trying to gain other people who want
- 26:46Speaker 1: to jump on your side, it's not going to happen
- 26:48Speaker 1: because nobody complained about the being Give me give me
- 26:51Speaker 1: another names because Tommy wasn't there. I know just about
- 26:54Speaker 1: everybody that was there. What nobody named Tommy there? Okay, okay,
- 26:58Speaker 1: so you're gonna say nephew Tommy was man. What nephew
- 27:05Speaker 1: taught me? This is Nephew from the Steve Harvey Morning
- 27:08Speaker 1: Show and hever you just are you crazy? Your cousin
- 27:18Speaker 1: got me the plank phone. Call you at what couple
- 27:22Speaker 1: walking by me? Looking at me? Because I'm about to
- 27:24Speaker 1: get enough? Tommy, are you crazy? Is a good? Oh? Man?
- 27:35Speaker 1: You got me? You got me one to take you
- 27:37Speaker 1: black eyed peed good? Nobody can play. I'm sitting here
- 27:41Speaker 1: like an You get these people fat. You aren't gonna
- 27:45Speaker 1: get no money. Tell me this, Tell me this. What
- 27:49Speaker 1: is the baddest, the baddest radio show in the land.
- 27:53Speaker 1: Oh but you know it, but you know it's Steve
- 27:55Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Oh my god, huh, this is great.
- 28:01Speaker 1: Keep are all right? Thank you? Have a new year.
- 28:06Speaker 1: All right, New Year? And next year I'll probably pop
- 28:09Speaker 1: up a Mamma Deane house here. You are welcome to come.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Ain't Tommy? You know what I love about that lady
- 28:18Speaker 1: after she cussed you, smooth out, Happy new year, Have
- 28:24Speaker 1: a good one people, black people. One thing about us, man,
- 28:30Speaker 1: we know how to come out that ain't goer quick?
- 28:32Speaker 1: Oh just a prank? Oh hey, Tommy, ain't time so crazy?
- 28:39Speaker 1: A right? Terl Shirley Newby said, I tell you, I'll
- 28:46Speaker 1: tell you what wasn't a prank, and it's the people
- 28:48Speaker 1: climbing up dawn wall yesterday. That was not a prank blessing.
- 28:55Speaker 1: All right, coming up at the top of the hour,
- 28:58Speaker 1: we're gonna go to the phones even twenty nine. Steve
- 29:01Speaker 1: call us. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 29:08Speaker 1: All right, So the US Congress certifies Joe Biden's win
- 29:11Speaker 1: after the domestic terror attack on the Capitol yesterday, as
- 29:16Speaker 1: President Obama said, yesterday's violence at the Capitol was incited
- 29:19Speaker 1: by a sitting president. As a moment of great dishonor
- 29:22Speaker 1: and shame for our nation, lawmakers are vowing an investigation
- 29:26Speaker 1: into how law enforcement handled the violent breach at the Capitol.
- 29:30Speaker 1: We all saw it on social media, videos of police
- 29:33Speaker 1: officers letting them domestic terrorists in the building and taking
- 29:38Speaker 1: selfies and talking with them. This is craziness. Take a
- 29:42Speaker 1: listen to MSNBC's anchor Joey Reid. She broke it down
- 29:46Speaker 1: and said what she had to say about white Americans.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Take a listen. White Americans are never afraid of the cops,
- 29:52Speaker 1: even when they're committing insurrection, even when they're engaged in
- 29:56Speaker 1: attempting to occupy our capitol to steal the vote of
- 30:00Speaker 1: people who look like me, because in their minds, they
- 30:03Speaker 1: own this country. They own that capitol, they owned the cops.
- 30:06Speaker 1: The cops work for them, and people like me have
- 30:08Speaker 1: no damn right to try to elect a president because
- 30:11Speaker 1: we don't get to pick the president. They get to
- 30:13Speaker 1: pick the president. They owned the president, they own the
- 30:15Speaker 1: White House, they own this country. Wow, she did break
- 30:20Speaker 1: it down that part. Yes, what she said. You know
- 30:26Speaker 1: something that was an interesting perspective. Yesterday My father in
- 30:29Speaker 1: law was sitting at the house watching it on TV.
- 30:32Speaker 1: He happens to be eighty five years old. I walked
- 30:35Speaker 1: up to him, I said, Pop, I said, how you
- 30:39Speaker 1: feel about all this? He said, well, by time and
- 30:44Speaker 1: so I said that. I said what you mean by that?
- 30:46Speaker 1: He said, well, they finally get to see what we
- 30:49Speaker 1: already been knowing. And I said, I'll be damned. See,
- 30:54Speaker 1: this is an eighty five year old black man that
- 30:58Speaker 1: has seen some stuff in his life. Man, he said,
- 31:01Speaker 1: it's about time they finally get to see what we
- 31:05Speaker 1: already been knowing. See, it wasn't a surprise to black
- 31:12Speaker 1: people what happened yesterday. A lot of people were shocked.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Black people were not, but as so many of the
- 31:21Speaker 1: politicians were trying to explain it away, this is not
- 31:25Speaker 1: our America. Yep, but it is though, Yes, it is it.
- 31:31Speaker 1: It really is the America. Yeah, it's just it's just
- 31:35Speaker 1: you just not getting a glimpse of it. Slavery, everything, everything. No,
- 31:41Speaker 1: this really is America. Yeah, take those blinders off. We've
- 31:45Speaker 1: been forever. And another thing, you know, they keep talking
- 31:48Speaker 1: about our forefathers wrote the greatest constitution, the greatest piece
- 31:54Speaker 1: of paper for democracy. In some points it is. But
- 31:59Speaker 1: I want you to zamine your Constitution because it's pretty
- 32:03Speaker 1: old and the original version was not a good version
- 32:07Speaker 1: for us. The original version was not a good version
- 32:11Speaker 1: for women. Yet it has had to evolve over the
- 32:15Speaker 1: course of time, and there are some things in it
- 32:17Speaker 1: now that has to evolve. Your right to bear arms,
- 32:23Speaker 1: it's then got out of head. See, it should be
- 32:27Speaker 1: you should have the right to bear arms if and
- 32:30Speaker 1: then a list of things have to be met. Everybody
- 32:33Speaker 1: shouldn't have a gun. Everybody can't have a gun. See,
- 32:38Speaker 1: so the second Amendment needs to be the freedom of
- 32:42Speaker 1: speech needs to be amended. We need to stop giving
- 32:47Speaker 1: permits and parades to hate groups to come down my
- 32:51Speaker 1: street that I'm a taxpayer owned and you tell me
- 32:54Speaker 1: how you hate me because my ass is black. But
- 32:58Speaker 1: we then gave you a permit for that. Wait a minute,
- 33:01Speaker 1: their taxpapers. Well, I'm a taxpayer two, and I don't
- 33:05Speaker 1: have to be subjected to your line of thinking if
- 33:08Speaker 1: it's spewing hate against another group of people, and I
- 33:11Speaker 1: don't want to hear it. Today. We gotta stop some
- 33:14Speaker 1: of the freedoms we have. See, we're so damn free,
- 33:18Speaker 1: we two free. Now, we're so free that a storm
- 33:21Speaker 1: Joe damn Capitol. Now. Yeah, and you said that, and
- 33:24Speaker 1: you were scared to do something to him. But if
- 33:26Speaker 1: black people was running up them steps, they'd have been
- 33:28Speaker 1: dropping our ass like three foot but seventy it would
- 33:35Speaker 1: have been fourteen dead, seventy five hospital hospitalized minimum. Finally,
- 33:45Speaker 1: early this morning, Steve Mike Pence declared that Joe Biden
- 33:48Speaker 1: and Kamala Harris one what we already knew. He already
- 33:55Speaker 1: knew that. But we have a president who tells the
- 33:59Speaker 1: same him lie even in his BS concession speech, that
- 34:05Speaker 1: the election was stolen. There is no evidence of any
- 34:10Speaker 1: widespread anything that would affect the results. Yeah, some dead
- 34:15Speaker 1: people voted, They do that every year. Some dad people
- 34:19Speaker 1: voted for your ass last time. Some dead people voted
- 34:22Speaker 1: for your ass this time. They always do some little
- 34:26Speaker 1: tricky stuff here and now a couple hundred times, nothing
- 34:30Speaker 1: to affect the election. But he keeps telling his base
- 34:35Speaker 1: that they stole the election, and then that punk cast
- 34:37Speaker 1: Ted cruise coming on Ted talking about it. Almost half
- 34:42Speaker 1: of Americans think this election was stolen, and we have
- 34:45Speaker 1: to address that. Ain't no half for nobody think nothing.
- 34:48Speaker 1: I don't know a single black person to think this
- 34:51Speaker 1: election was rigged or stolen, right, And he wanted to
- 34:54Speaker 1: put together a commission to look into it. And the
- 34:58Speaker 1: last time they did that one hundred and forty some
- 35:01Speaker 1: years ago. And man, if y'all know quick going back
- 35:03Speaker 1: to your fae fathers and what they did, because dum,
- 35:06Speaker 1: your faue fathers, yeah, they're not offered your fault. Your
- 35:10Speaker 1: fae fathers was owned slaves in the constitution. My fae
- 35:15Speaker 1: fathers were slaves, thank you. So now quis are talking
- 35:19Speaker 1: to me about your faue fathers like I'm post to
- 35:22Speaker 1: honor them because now you know your fae fathers owned slaves.
- 35:26Speaker 1: That's all I know, and minds was the slaves, Yes, sir,
- 35:31Speaker 1: I ain't got to honor nothing. Absolutely tide of that
- 35:35Speaker 1: your forefathers, grandkids was climbing over the walls yesterday too. Yeah,
- 35:39Speaker 1: we want to hear from you. Call us eight seven
- 35:41Speaker 1: seven twenty nine, Steve. We're gonna take your phone calls
- 35:44Speaker 1: at about twenty minutes after the hour right after this.
- 35:47Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Congress
- 35:53Speaker 1: certifies Joe Biden's win after capital attacks yesterday. Yes, thank
- 35:58Speaker 1: you can ask you question. Yeah, we'reking ready to go
- 36:01Speaker 1: to the phones. Yes, sir. They said that four people
- 36:05Speaker 1: died yesterday and one of like causes. One somebody said
- 36:11Speaker 1: somebody failed. One of the deaths was from falling. Now
- 36:17Speaker 1: I hadn't heard that. Yeah, I hadn't heard heard that.
- 36:20Speaker 1: I just know yeah about the woman who got shot
- 36:22Speaker 1: in the chest. It's possible. We had a lot of
- 36:24Speaker 1: climbers yesterday, so it's possible for somebody to fault. Yeah,
- 36:28Speaker 1: I just want to it's got to be video that
- 36:33Speaker 1: because surveillance campuses everywhere everywhere at the state Capitol. Yes,
- 36:39Speaker 1: any more questions, I think dement in dub somewhere. It's
- 36:44Speaker 1: time get to hell. Anybody went to YEA, Well, listen,
- 36:50Speaker 1: we're gonna go to the phone. If i'd have fell
- 36:53Speaker 1: off that wall. I'd have had to die because my
- 36:55Speaker 1: mama went out have got home? What was your ass up?
- 36:57Speaker 1: That fall? Scaring me today? Steve, You're gonna say I'm bad,
- 37:04Speaker 1: you know what? Something? Honestly, y'all, I'm being careful. I'm
- 37:09Speaker 1: mindful of my steps. I don't want to. I don't.
- 37:11Speaker 1: I don't want to, you know, because I am very
- 37:14Speaker 1: concerned about what has happened. But I have to be mindful.
- 37:17Speaker 1: But now the old black man in me, the old
- 37:21Speaker 1: black man in me, has some other thoughts and they
- 37:25Speaker 1: just need to stay thoughts. Let's go to the yes
- 37:28Speaker 1: keep all right. Eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve, We're
- 37:30Speaker 1: going to line for Anthony's been holding for amenities from
- 37:34Speaker 1: South Carolina. Steve Anthony, morning, sir, Hey, what's up my brother?
- 37:40Speaker 1: What's on your mind? Anthony? Yes, I just wanted to
- 37:43Speaker 1: say that I'm just really really disappointed in the elastical
- 37:46Speaker 1: tardess on yesterday. Um, we should have been totally more
- 37:49Speaker 1: prepared than that. And had it been one hundred peaceful
- 37:53Speaker 1: black protesters yesterday, they would have had snickers on the building.
- 37:58Speaker 1: The god they have had the dogs out. Yes The
- 38:04Speaker 1: one thing I'll say this time, it wasn't us. And
- 38:08Speaker 1: you know something, man, Anthony, I go back to what
- 38:10Speaker 1: my father in law said, who's eighty five years old,
- 38:15Speaker 1: and I understood where he was coming from. He say,
- 38:17Speaker 1: America needed to see this. They needed to see it,
- 38:23Speaker 1: and it wasn't our fight. They needed to see this
- 38:27Speaker 1: because the same preparations like Anthony's referring to to the
- 38:30Speaker 1: one hundred pieceful black protesters, they would have had start
- 38:34Speaker 1: making your preparation because now you see the other side
- 38:36Speaker 1: of America and our protests mean something where they're more
- 38:42Speaker 1: there for more than just a president who's upset because
- 38:45Speaker 1: he lost. And let me tell you something. Only have
- 38:47Speaker 1: a couple of people who burned up a Wendy's doing
- 38:50Speaker 1: the Black Lives Matter movement. That's just a couple of
- 38:52Speaker 1: people doing that ignort mess. Right here, I saw hundreds
- 38:57Speaker 1: of people break into the capitol of this country. That's
- 39:01Speaker 1: what I saw. Yep, you're right, Yeah, all right, we'll
- 39:07Speaker 1: take more of your phone calls. Hang on eight seven
- 39:09Speaker 1: seven twenty nine, Steve eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Sure,
- 39:18Speaker 1: all right, listen let's go to the phones. Eight seven
- 39:21Speaker 1: seven twenty nine, Steve. Yes, Steve, I need you to
- 39:24Speaker 1: pay a close attention here. Now she was getting the
- 39:27Speaker 1: phone call. Now, okay, Ronda from one five Rondo? Hello, Ronda, Hey,
- 39:37Speaker 1: how you doing? Save? Good morning? Yeah, how are you doing?
- 39:41Speaker 1: What is you doing? Rondo? Cooking? You keep doing your
- 39:44Speaker 1: making everything? I'm doing everything, okay, trying to get them
- 39:47Speaker 1: kids out of there. All right, we got your baby.
- 39:49Speaker 1: We saw Hey, Ronda, what's on your mind? Well, you
- 39:52Speaker 1: know what you had said, I'm sorry for the loss
- 39:55Speaker 1: of life. You know, they did say four people are
- 39:57Speaker 1: dead now and sorry for the loss of life. But
- 40:01Speaker 1: he did this on purpose. He lied, he did. He
- 40:05Speaker 1: caught him patriots. I mean, he was a mask cold spreader.
- 40:09Speaker 1: They got centered to saying they can't even say certified,
- 40:12Speaker 1: but they don't quit their job. And the police handle
- 40:15Speaker 1: those people like babies. And you know, there's charges it
- 40:18Speaker 1: to be pressed for everybody. And I wonder will the
- 40:21Speaker 1: police be prosecuted for her death when they ain't been
- 40:23Speaker 1: prosecuted for so many other deaths, you know, capital police. Yeah,
- 40:29Speaker 1: you know I was thinking about that too, Rhanda. We
- 40:31Speaker 1: were off the air, discussing that because Brianna Taylor and
- 40:34Speaker 1: all his hell and this being a white woman having
- 40:37Speaker 1: lost to life, which is tragic, It really is tragic.
- 40:43Speaker 1: You have the right to protest in this country, you
- 40:46Speaker 1: don't have the right to trespass. You don't have the
- 40:50Speaker 1: right to vandalize. That's what you don't have the right
- 40:53Speaker 1: to do. And once you go into that realm of it,
- 40:57Speaker 1: and and black people know this, we already know now,
- 41:03Speaker 1: all right, we're going too far. You walk, hold your
- 41:05Speaker 1: hands up, holy signs. But we know if we start
- 41:08Speaker 1: running that police and backing police down, you don't never
- 41:10Speaker 1: see a group of blacks backing the group of police down,
- 41:14Speaker 1: aggressively walking towards them, because we already know that's gonna
- 41:17Speaker 1: be taken as a sign of aggression, and then they're
- 41:20Speaker 1: gonna go to their standard line. We felt fearful of
- 41:23Speaker 1: our life. But they ran that brother up them steps

- 41:53Speaker 1: I'm gonna run a little bit, but I'm gonna draw

- 43:19Speaker 1: I know you said you said, but why I sound
- 43:21Speaker 1: like you smiling at all because you saying, you know,

- 51:47Speaker 1: can't even. I can't even because I know how I
- 51:50Speaker 1: am to this day about my mama. The majority of
- 51:54Speaker 1: fights I've been in in my lifetime, the number one
- 51:58Speaker 1: subject is you couldn't never you couldn't say nothing about
- 52:02Speaker 1: my mama. I don't care if you was playing joking,
- 52:06Speaker 1: I ain't mean it. I wasn't talking about chill mama.
- 52:10Speaker 1: If I thought you was talking about my mama, I

- 54:22Speaker 1: all right, thank you, thank you? Subject? What is he
- 54:24Speaker 1: doing in that bathroom all day? Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm
- 54:28Speaker 1: a twenty seven year old man and my best friend
- 54:30Speaker 1: is causing issues at my job. I recently got him
- 54:34Speaker 1: a job with me after he was fired from his
- 54:36Speaker 1: last job because of COVID nineteen. It was going really
- 54:39Speaker 1: good until my coworkers began asking me is something wrong
- 54:43Speaker 1: with him? Because he disappears a lot during his work shift.
- 54:48Speaker 1: I kept an eye out for him and noticed that
- 54:51Speaker 1: two times during a shift I couldn't find him for
- 54:54Speaker 1: about thirty minutes. We work in a very big retail
- 54:57Speaker 1: department store, so it's easy not to see someone for
- 55:00Speaker 1: a while, but I thought it was weird. Then one
- 55:04Speaker 1: day a guy we work with came up to me
- 55:06Speaker 1: and said, while he was in the bathroom, he heard
- 55:09Speaker 1: moaning and groaning coming from the stall next to him.
- 55:13Speaker 1: He said he could not tell if the person was
- 55:16Speaker 1: straining to use it or if someone was in there
- 55:20Speaker 1: having sex. He said, a few minutes later, my friend
- 55:23Speaker 1: walked out of the bathroom and he was sweating through
- 55:25Speaker 1: his face. Mask and his shirt. Long story, shut up, Tommy.
- 55:30Speaker 1: Long story short. My best friend has been using time
- 55:34Speaker 1: at work to take care of himself in quotes in
- 55:37Speaker 1: the men's room. And I saw it for myself one
- 55:39Speaker 1: day when I followed him into the men's room. I
- 55:42Speaker 1: sat in the stall next to him, and his headphones
- 55:45Speaker 1: were up real high, and I heard the porn sounds
- 55:48Speaker 1: and other sounds that let me know what he was doing.
- 55:51Speaker 1: He dates a lot of different women, so I'm not
- 55:53Speaker 1: sure why he's doing this at work. Our co workers
- 55:57Speaker 1: are joking about him and taking bets on how long
- 56:00Speaker 1: he will disappear each shift. I don't want him to
- 56:02Speaker 1: get fired if management finds out, and I'm afraid that
- 56:05Speaker 1: this will all fall on me. How do I talk
- 56:08Speaker 1: to him about this? Man to man, Well, you just
- 56:12Speaker 1: got to go to him and talk to him. You
- 56:14Speaker 1: gotta tell him, and you gotta tell him today. I mean,
- 56:17Speaker 1: everyone knows what he's doing. You said, they're taking bets
- 56:20Speaker 1: and all of that on how long he's going to
- 56:22Speaker 1: be out. Well, you gotta let your co workers know
- 56:25Speaker 1: that you told him and that whatever he does has
- 56:28Speaker 1: nothing to do with you. He must be a sex
- 56:31Speaker 1: addict or something. Because it sounds like he can't control himself.
- 56:34Speaker 1: I mean, you're doing this at work. I do not
- 56:37Speaker 1: like the fact that he does it at work, and
- 56:41Speaker 1: at the job you helped him get. You could be
- 56:44Speaker 1: in jeopardy of losing your job because your friends can't
- 56:48Speaker 1: keep his hands off of himself, you know, because hey,
- 56:53Speaker 1: you hired him. You hired him, you had us hire him.
- 56:57Speaker 1: What's going on anyway? You could be in j P.
- 57:00Speaker 1: They could look at you it's crazy. I mean, this
- 57:02Speaker 1: has happened. He's not bothering anyone else at the job,
- 57:05Speaker 1: just himself. He's even loud with it, so they figured
- 57:09Speaker 1: out what he's been doing. I mean, so again, I say,
- 57:12Speaker 1: please tell him a SAP as soon as possible so
- 57:16Speaker 1: you can get this off you. You don't want them
- 57:18Speaker 1: looking at you crazy. You don't want them following you
- 57:21Speaker 1: in the bathroom checking out what you're doing any of that,
- 57:23Speaker 1: you know, because right now you're guilty by association and
- 57:28Speaker 1: you don't want to lose your job. You just don't
- 57:29Speaker 1: want to do it. So now you know it wasn't
- 57:32Speaker 1: just COVID nineteen why he lost the other job. I'm
- 57:35Speaker 1: sure it was something else based on this letter, Steve Well,
- 57:42Speaker 1: I think I should start by saying, I really don't
- 57:46Speaker 1: care about this. Let him and I have no desire
- 57:51Speaker 1: to help you are him in any way? To start with,
- 57:56Speaker 1: Let's just I'm just being honest. I mean, really, this
- 57:59Speaker 1: is not I I don't even see why you wrote
- 58:01Speaker 1: us or really, dog, it ain't none our business. H
- 58:06Speaker 1: It's not that dire of a situation to me. I
- 58:10Speaker 1: just don't see it. Now, how much time do I have,
- 58:14Speaker 1: Shirley about how many minutes I got, I would say
- 58:18Speaker 1: I got about two minutes. So let me just briefly
- 58:21Speaker 1: go through this, and then when I come back, I
- 58:22Speaker 1: have a surprise for you. I'm gonna decide I'm gonna
- 58:25Speaker 1: do this letter different way. You got a best friend
- 58:29Speaker 1: that you helped him get this job because he got
- 58:33Speaker 1: fired from his last job CAUs of COVID. Just say
- 58:37Speaker 1: that sentis to yourself. I got fired from my last
- 58:41Speaker 1: job cause of COVID. What how that happened? Are you
- 58:47Speaker 1: saying to me that you had COVID and the job
- 58:50Speaker 1: fired you cause you brought COVID to the job, because
- 58:54Speaker 1: that's illegal to do. So what you're telling me is
- 59:00Speaker 1: that he didn't lie to you. About why he lost
- 59:03Speaker 1: the job exactly. You get laid off doing COVID, you
- 59:08Speaker 1: get furloughed doing COVID, your company clothes is doing COVID,
- 59:12Speaker 1: but you don't get fired doing COVID. They can't fire
- 59:17Speaker 1: you because it's a global pandemic. Okay, so we all know,
- 59:25Speaker 1: like Shirley got around to say, he got fired for
- 59:30Speaker 1: the same reason, he gonna get fired from this damn
- 59:32Speaker 1: job because he can't keep his hands off his damn self.
- 59:39Speaker 1: He's so damn sexy, he irresistible to his self. So
- 59:46Speaker 1: when I come back, this is gonna be me and
- 59:49Speaker 1: Timmy gonna do a reenactment. Tommy trying to talk to me,
- 59:57Speaker 1: okay about this problem or vice vers Tommy or Tommy
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: gonna be the man with the problem, and I'm gonna
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: be asking him some question. All right, we'll have part
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: two of Steve's response coming up in twenty three after
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: it is the other friend, what is he doing in
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: the bathroom all day? As the subject? Right after this,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: let's recap. You have a special reenactment you're going to do.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: So first of all, let me just tell you what
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: the letters about you doing in that bathroom? All? What's
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: he doing at bath this Steven Show. I got twenty
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: seven year old man, my best friend, causing issues down
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: in my job. I recently got him a job with
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: me after he was fired from his last job because
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: of COVID nineteen. It was going really good until my
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: coworkers began asking me if something is wrong with him
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: because he disappears a lot doing his work shift. I
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: kept out for him and noticed that two times doing
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: the shift, I couldn't find him for thirty minutes. Now,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: we work in a very big retail department store, so
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: it's easy to not see someone for a while, but
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: I thought it was weird. Then one day a guy
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: we worked we came up to me and said while
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: he was in the bathroom that he heard some moaning
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: and groaning coming from the stall next to him. He
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: said he could not tell if the person, why did
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: my phone do that? Here would go? He said that
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: he could not tell if the person was straining to
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: use it or if someone was in there having sex. Well,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: then he said in a few minutes later, my friend
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: walked out the bathroom and he was sweating through his
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: face mask and his shirt or a long story short.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: My best friend has been using time at work to
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: take care of himself in the mill's room, and I
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: saw it for myself one day when I followed him
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: into the mill's room. I sat in the stall next
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: to him, and his headphones was up real high, and
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: I heard the porn sounds and other sounds that let
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: me know what he was doing. He date a lot
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: of different women, so I'm not sure why he's doing
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: this at work. Our co workers are joking about him,
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: taking bets on how long he'll disappeared each shield. I
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: don't want him to get fired if management finds out.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: I'm afraid this will all fall on me. How do
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: I talk to him about this? Man to man? Well,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: like I said, Dog, I don't I can't help you.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: Man to man, I don't know how to do this,
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: and I really don't care about this letter. So what
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: I've decided to do is, let's see if we can
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: find a solution to this problem through reenacting it. Here's
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: the situation. I'm the dude at work that's in there
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: with myself. I'm in the star. Tommy and Junior are
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: the dudes that got me the job day, my friends
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: day outside the stall. I'm in there taking care of me,
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: just me, and they come up to the door to
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: try to talk to me about it. All right, here
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: we go, Yo, Barrett, Hey, this Kenny and Regie? Man,
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: what what's what's what's what's what's happening? Too much? Steve?

- 1:03:24Speaker 1: are you? Are you sweating? Dog? You know? Ain't ain't sweating? Dog?
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: You gonna see me? How are you gonna see me
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: sweating through the dope? Uh? Okay, okay. Are you breathing

- 1:04:37Speaker 1: What that's? You know? Row? That's biggie bad. You've been
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: off the floor thirty minutes. Man, we're trying to cover. Amen.

- 1:07:01Speaker 1: a few of the highlights that that some of the
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: things that went down. Here's one of them listening to
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: this comment. Later, I got nada, and what happened? You
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: were trying to go inside? I made it like a
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: foot inside and they pushed it out and they maced me.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: What's what's your name? Where you find her name is Elizabeth?
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: I'm from Knoxville, Tennessee. And why did you want to
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: go in? We're serving the capital. It's a revolution. That's
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: my favorite. One white girl could not believe she had
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: got made. She didn't compete another, so she only made
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: it a foot. End she took that mace. The revolution

- 1:07:54Speaker 1: the unedited version of Elizabeth being interviewed you after she
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: tried to break into the capitol and she got maced.

- 1:08:23Speaker 1: They based it me in it faces your name. I
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: told you that. Why are you crying? Elizabeth? They ain't
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: mace to me. They used the wrong, mate. They used
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: the mace to day spray the black people. I was white, lady.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: I've got the wrong. Why were you here in the
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: first place? Because it's a real starting the capitol. The
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: gotta funny, y'all? Did ask police just macedon me and
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: say what's your wrong? Mate? I was supposed to get
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: the lights all, just a little lights all, is all.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: I was supposed to get just a disaffected thankful yourself together,
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: listener together, your black ass. Don't tell me what I've
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: got a wrong. This is the mace for the black people.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: What's the white lady? Mate? Well, Elizabeth, gets you up
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: together and pull y'all. I got to go back in there.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: I think you need to stay out all right. We're
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: gonna go to the phones after this. Thank you. Elizabeth
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: h eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve eight seven seven
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: twenty nineteen. Call us, we're talking to you. Right after that.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: You're listening Harvey Morning Show. We are Steve Harby Morning Show.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: All right, Steve, let's go to the phones. Let's talk
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: to the people. Eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve, Let's
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: go to line one and talk to Walter out of Columbus. Hey, Walter, Hey,
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: what's up about morning show? Hey? What's up Columbus? What Columbus, Georgia, Columbus, Ohio?
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: Where you at, Columbus, Georgia, right there next to Fort Benny.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: I got you, I know where yet right on the
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: border over that right from uh sitting over that a
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: cross street from Alabama, Phoenix City, Yes, sir, across the
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: bridge just an hour earlier. Yeah, I got you. What's
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: on your mind? Man? We're really all right? Um, thank
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: y'all for real though, believe it or not. If we
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: want for the radio to get by it and in
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Harrison and y'all putting y'all word out there, that's what
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: really got it this all of the radio stations who
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: help get it out. And and I was listening to
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: what Carler said when he said Trump is like a
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: wine and child. It couldn't have his way until he
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: had to go get his friends and see if they
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: can help him. And that's all they did. Um. I
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: think he's just really a big car man to Connor's
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: way into the White House. Yeah, yesterday I saw a
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: lot of people that was you know, going up on
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: the Capitol and they called us this word all our life.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: But it was a lot of in words running all
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: up inside the White House. All it was got blood
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: on his hands. Yeah, that's it, man. Yeah, thank you Walter,
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: Thank you Walk for listening. Thank you and voting and
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: getting out. Absolutely. Let's go to line three. Talk to
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: Vale out of New Jersey A Vale. Yes, Steve, what's
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: going on man? What's on your mind? A couple of things, Steve. Okay,
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: you know, the white people are seeing what we've been
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: seeing since the end of slavery. I called you when
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: Trump was about to be what was running for office,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: and I told you at that time we have the
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: second generation of George Wallace. M right, George Wallace didn't
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: make it to the White House, but uh, Donald Trump's
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: daddy and his mama and his uncle were arrested in
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: New York City for being a part of the klu
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: Klux Klan. So what do you expect out of Donald Trump?
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: This has been his agenda, says birth M. He don't
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: like to lose. Sure, I know that's take you know
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: so many things. I think this guy, he's proven to be.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: You know, he doesn't understand it, like even his concession speech.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: So about this early transition and even though this is
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: the end of the greatest presidency in our history, No,
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: what are you talking about? Do you haven't been a
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: great president for this country in the least bit anyway? No,
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: you know, we were in trouble with make America great again.
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: We were in trouble with that statement right there. So
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: what part of history do you want to go back to?
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: And it's when you say that to black people, that
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: was a preferred time when it was greater than it
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: is now. Because I don't want to go back to
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: any parts of my life. Why I can remember having
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: it better as a black person. I'm sixty three, God willing,
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: I'll be sixty four. I've been here a long time.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: I can't think of the fifties, sixties, seventies, eighties, nineties,
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: early two thousand. I don't want none of him me personally.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: So what what period of time are you talking about?
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: And he showed us for four years what period he
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: was talking about slavery when Black's Muslims nobody could move
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: around without his say soul. This dude wanted to be king.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: He didn't really want to be president. He wanted to
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: be king. And now he's a mad king. More of

- 1:19:22Speaker 1: remarks from Steve Rovey. String you're listening to all right?
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: Here we are our last break of the day, Steve.
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: Time for some closing remarks. You know, um, these are
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: the remarks I want to make. Yesterday was another eventful day,
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: uh in this country. You know. Twenty twenty was interesting
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: because COVID bought a lot of things to our attention.
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: But it's amazing, man, when the world, when we get
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: focused on something, how things are being brought to light
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: that have normally been covered up. If it had not
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: been for COVID, the George Floyd death would not have
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: resonated the way it did because everybody was still having
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: to sit there and watch it on TV. Because nobody
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: was at happy hour, nobody was at family reunion, nobody
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: was on vacation, everybody was home, and it caused them
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: to see, well, something happened yesterday that made everybody see
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: the curtain was pulled back on another side of the
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: American culture. Now, it's been interesting because I've listened to
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: all the senators talk and they say, that's not who
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: we are as Americans, but it is. It is. See
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: that half of the voting block that you say are Trumpians.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: That's who was storming the walls of democracy. That's who
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: was hijacking the constitution that your forefathers wrote. That's who
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: was doing. And it was all at the urging of him, him,
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: his son, his lawyer. They pushed those people that he
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: even Donald Trump even said he'll he'll go down there
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: with you. Rudy Giuliano used the term combat. Donald Trump
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: Junior said, and if you don't go along with us,
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: you'll see me in your backyard and you're not going
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: to like it. You're talking to a group of people
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: dressed in fatigues with helm on body armor vests, some
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: of them had to be carrying, and they had organized
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: this on the website and you made these types of
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: inflammatory remarks and they acted on it. They planted two
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: pipe bombs. Four people died, one of them a woman.
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: Four people died as a result of injuries on yesterday.
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: This is not our America. It is it is. It's
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: just you saw it on television yesterday. You're watching it
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: on social media. It was strange, man, because my father
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: in law was watching it, and he was sitting in
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: the living room watching it. I walked up to him,
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: and he's eighty five years old. I said, Papa, how
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: you feel about all this? He said, well, seem like
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: it's about time time for me. I said what you
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: mean by that. He said, well, it's about time they
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: get to see what we've been knowing all alone. That
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: was a profound statement from a really old man. He say,
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: it's about time that they finally see what we've been
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: knowing all along. Now I'm sixty three, my father in
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: law is eighty five. Joe man, that's twenty two more
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: years of this that I got. Do you know what
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: he's seen that I ain't seen? And he just now
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: being able to say, it's about time they finally see
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: what we've been knowing all along. This is the America
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: we've been talking about. This is the America that we've
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: been protesting against. This is the america that we've been
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: trying to get you all the seed that we've been
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: dealing with since we got him. And all we've been
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: asking is one little thing. We're not asking you to
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: shoot them like you shoot us. We're asking you not
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: to shoot us like you don't shoot them. We saw
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: it yesterday. That's all we're saying to you. See, black
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: lives matter. What's not saying our lives are the only
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: one that matters. What black lives matter is saying is
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: can our lives matter just like everybody else life. We
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: don't want more, We just want the same. We ain't
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: asking for extra, We just want the minimum. We want
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: what you get. We all know, I don't care who
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: you are. You know getting well, if them was black
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: people yesterday, you know what would have happened. And I'm
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: not saying nothing profound, right, now everybody know that, but
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: we had to take a look at it yourse today
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: and this country has to change now. Is it going
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: to No? Is it going to any sooner? No? But
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: we learned a lesson and all can keep following this
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: man stronger than you follow your God if you want to,
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: and you can be hide behind your political party based
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: on Christianity. But what was Christian about yesterday? What was
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: Christian about telling them people to go down to the capitol?
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: What was Christian about mentioning combat and rhetoric like that
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: to some people that you didn't lied to and told
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: that you got an election stolen from you. And you
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: claim that half of Americans think you got the stolen
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: Where they get the notion from you? Ain't produced no evidence,
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: and so here we are. They don't storm the capitol. Really,
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: I'm not surprised. It's really sad that you are. This
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: is our America. Welcome to what we've been knowing all alone.
