• 2:09
Speaker 1: Steve Harley got a radio show. Okay, here we go today, folks.
• 2:14
Speaker 1: This is a good one because today I want to
• 2:18
Speaker 1: share with you something that affects every living soul, and
• 2:24
Speaker 1: that one thing is your attitude. This affects everyone. It
• 2:31
Speaker 1: is your attitude. You know. I don't know if anyone's
• 2:37
Speaker 1: ever told you, but I mean many of you who
• 2:40
Speaker 1: listen know this. But there are a lot of people
• 2:43
Speaker 1: who don't understand a positive attitude can bring about a change.
• 2:51
Speaker 1: A positive attitude can bring about a change. Well, now
• 2:55
Speaker 1: here we go with the nay says well, Steve, what
• 2:57
Speaker 1: you mean if I'm just positive being changed? My mama gone,
• 3:00
Speaker 1: what me being positive got to do with that? Okay,
• 3:03
Speaker 1: Now listen to me carefully. A positive attitude can bring
• 3:07
Speaker 1: about change. Well, okay, Steve, I hear you saying that,
• 3:11
Speaker 1: But they didn't fired me. So now, what does my
• 3:14
Speaker 1: having a positive attitude have to do with the fact
• 3:17
Speaker 1: that they fired me? Well, one more time, A positive
• 3:23
Speaker 1: attitude can bring about change. What, Steve, I set up
• 3:29
Speaker 1: in here and gave eight nine, twelve years of my
• 3:33
Speaker 1: life to this man and he just he cheated on
• 3:35
Speaker 1: me and walked out. Now what does me being positive
• 3:38
Speaker 1: have to do with him cheating on me? How that's
• 3:42
Speaker 1: gonna change that? Okay, here we go again. A positive
• 3:46
Speaker 1: attitude can bring about change. Now listen to the whole thing. Now,
• 3:52
Speaker 1: the positive attitude and the change that can happen starts.
• 3:59
Speaker 1: This is the start. It starts within you. See, life
• 4:06
Speaker 1: is ten percent. What happens is what you do about
• 4:09
Speaker 1: what happens. Okay, you gave twelve years of your life
• 4:12
Speaker 1: to this man. He cheated and left you hold in
• 4:15
Speaker 1: the bag, the kids and everything. Now, what does being
• 4:18
Speaker 1: positive have to do with changing that? Or they came
• 4:21
Speaker 1: in and they fired you. You lost your job that
• 4:24
Speaker 1: you was a stellar performer at but now, how does
• 4:27
Speaker 1: you having a positive attitude, How does that change things
• 4:31
Speaker 1: for you? So far, you can use any example. Here's
• 4:35
Speaker 1: what happens when you have a positive attitude. What it
• 4:40
Speaker 1: produces within you is a positive approach to life. And
• 4:45
Speaker 1: when you have a positive attitude and a positive approach
• 4:48
Speaker 1: to life, it causes you to be optimistic, to have
• 4:54
Speaker 1: a positive out look, to expect things to eventually turn around,
• 5:00
Speaker 1: and and and and turn into a positive That's very
• 5:04
Speaker 1: important because as the law of attraction comes into play,
• 5:08
Speaker 1: if you think positive thoughts, you attract positive things. If
• 5:14
Speaker 1: you think evil thoughts, you attract evil to you. You know,
• 5:19
Speaker 1: if you want for nothing, then nothing comes your way.
• 5:23
Speaker 1: If you want for a positive attitude, if you want
• 5:26
Speaker 1: for positive results, if you want for a great outcome,
• 5:29
Speaker 1: that's what you attract to you. The change will begin
• 5:32
Speaker 1: within you. So let's take the man that walked out
• 5:35
Speaker 1: your life and left you hold in the bag. Here's
• 5:39
Speaker 1: a positive attitude. Okay, two things have happened as positive here.
• 5:44
Speaker 1: Number one, you've ridded yourself of someone who is obviously
• 5:48
Speaker 1: going to be, if not already been, toxic in your life,
• 5:52
Speaker 1: cause you many restless nights, a lot of uncomfortable feelings,
• 5:57
Speaker 1: an uneasiness, not sure, insecure purity. You've been going through
• 6:01
Speaker 1: it with this person, whoever they are. Number One, that
• 6:04
Speaker 1: person has been released from your life. Number two. It
• 6:08
Speaker 1: allows you now to have the someone who will treat
• 6:12
Speaker 1: you just the way you want to be treated. That's
• 6:14
Speaker 1: the positive outlook, that's the optimistic way. That's when you're
• 6:19
Speaker 1: a positive person. You see the positive in things that
• 6:22
Speaker 1: happened to you instead of burying yourself under the what's
• 6:25
Speaker 1: wrong with it? A old woe is me? Now? Concept
• 6:29
Speaker 1: see a positive attitude. When they came in there and
• 6:32
Speaker 1: they fired you and let you go, Could this not
• 6:35
Speaker 1: have been just the opening you needed to finally start
• 6:40
Speaker 1: on a new career path that you've been talking about
• 6:43
Speaker 1: doing anyway? Could it possibly be a brand new chance
• 6:47
Speaker 1: for you to get the dream job or dream career
• 6:51
Speaker 1: of your choice. Could it not possibly be the perfect
• 6:55
Speaker 1: opportunity now for you to finally finally do something about
• 7:00
Speaker 1: that gift, about that talent that God gave you, that
• 7:03
Speaker 1: thing that you love to do. Could it not be
• 7:06
Speaker 1: the perfect time for you to pursue that? But if
• 7:08
Speaker 1: you don't have a positive attitude, then you lay there, Oh,
• 7:13
Speaker 1: they finned come getting my house. Oh what I'm gonna
• 7:16
Speaker 1: do now? All this unemployment ain't enough. Oh Lord, when
• 7:20
Speaker 1: this unemployment run out, what am I gonna do? Then
• 7:22
Speaker 1: I won't have nothing? And you old woe is me
• 7:26
Speaker 1: until you become old woe is me. But if you
• 7:29
Speaker 1: take it from the positive approach, some amazing things can
• 7:33
Speaker 1: happen in your life. I will tell you on a
• 7:35
Speaker 1: personal note, that's some of the most some of the
• 7:39
Speaker 1: best changes. Some of the biggest moments in my life
• 7:43
Speaker 1: came after a loss. So I don't want to go
• 7:46
Speaker 1: down on the list, but boy, I could tell you.
• 7:47
Speaker 1: Let me let me tell you something. When they didn't
• 7:49
Speaker 1: want me on the radio anymore in La, when they
• 7:53
Speaker 1: didn't know when they were it was sick of the
• 7:54
Speaker 1: way I did radio out there, and they wanted me gone.
• 7:58
Speaker 1: And on May twenty, two thousand and five, when my
• 8:04
Speaker 1: when when when my deal was done? With the beat
• 8:09
Speaker 1: out in La? Okay, look what happened though, y'all? I
• 8:14
Speaker 1: was gone in May. But in September nineteenth I started
• 8:17
Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Radio Network with four cities. You see.
• 8:22
Speaker 1: But I didn't go old woe is me? I said, Oh, Okay,
• 8:27
Speaker 1: God must have something else from it, then, because if
• 8:30
Speaker 1: He didn't remove me from this, that must be something else.
• 8:33
Speaker 1: Same thing can happened when you lose and you and
• 8:35
Speaker 1: you and you break up in a relationship. Same thing
• 8:38
Speaker 1: can happen to you. You never know the one God
• 8:40
Speaker 1: God for you. Now Here you go, Here you go again.
• 8:43
Speaker 1: Now you get put into a situation with somebody, treat
• 8:46
Speaker 1: you just to where you want to be treated, provide
• 8:48
Speaker 1: you the whole lot of aspects of your life you
• 8:50
Speaker 1: knew nothing about prior to that. But you gotta stay positive.
• 8:54
Speaker 1: If you stay positive, that positive attitude, that optimistic outlook,
• 8:59
Speaker 1: that that that always thinking God got me no matter
• 9:03
Speaker 1: what happened to me, some amazing things that's going can
• 9:06
  Speaker 1: will happen in your life. It's a fact. I don't
• 9:09
Speaker 1: know how it works that way. I just know that's
• 9:12
Speaker 1: what it is. Positive attitude is everything, y'all. So get
• 9:15
Speaker 1: off the old woe is Me negativity train because it
• 9:18
Speaker 1: ain't gonna take you nowhere but down and get get
• 9:20
Speaker 1: your outlook up. If you change your attitude, you change
• 9:24
Speaker 1: your altitude. Altitude is determined by your attitude, how high
• 9:29
Speaker 1: you go, how big you become, how far you go.
• 9:33
Speaker 1: It all depends on how you think. It all depends
• 9:36
Speaker 1: on what type of attitude you got. Ain't no, ain't
• 9:40
Speaker 1: no very very successful, super negative people. It just doesn't
• 9:44
Speaker 1: coincide that way. If you see that something that happened
• 9:47
Speaker 1: to them along the way, and don't weary. You ain't
• 9:49
Speaker 1: gonna weary about it because you ain't gonna see them
• 9:50
Speaker 1: long because you can't stay up there like that. It's
• 9:53
Speaker 1: just too hard, all right. That's the conversation you're listening to, ladies, gentlemen,
• 10:06
Speaker 1: and all circus participants. This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
• 10:14
Speaker 1: And our reason I say ladies and gentlemen, all circus participants,
• 10:19
Speaker 1: is because we are all a part of this circus
• 10:22
Speaker 1: called life, and we are participating in some way or another.
• 10:27
Speaker 1: I just happen to want to be one of the
• 10:30
Speaker 1: stars of the circus. That's what I claim. Now, you
• 10:35
Speaker 1: pick whatever role you want to be at the child.
• 10:38
Speaker 1: You want to be the bearded lady, go ahead. You
• 10:41
Speaker 1: want to be one of the clowns jumping out of
• 10:43
Speaker 1: both wagon, go ahead. You want to be one of
• 10:46
Speaker 1: the big fat ass elephants chained up and just getting
• 10:49
Speaker 1: drug around, go ahead. If you want to be the ringmaster.
• 10:55
Speaker 1: Come on, pick the position you want in the circus.
• 11:00
Speaker 1: If you want to be the person setting up the
• 11:02
Speaker 1: tents for the circles, if you want to be outside
• 11:04
Speaker 1: selling tickets, you want to be making cock candy. Pick
• 11:07
Speaker 1: your roll in the circus and come on to the
• 11:09
Speaker 1: Steve Hawan Morning Show. Shirley straw Bear, Hey, good morning, Shorty.
• 11:14

• 11:17
Speaker 1: be the bearded lady. Oh I know, I'll be the
• 11:18
Speaker 1: type rope walker I like. Okay, cool, sure, Carlin Farrell,
• 11:23

• 11:29
Speaker 1: you'll be the clown, okay, Junior pring up, I will
• 11:33
Speaker 1: be the little person in the audience. Make it a lot.
• 11:37
Speaker 1: That's where I'm man like Dy Brown, step right up
• 11:43
Speaker 1: and see the black man with the white woman inside
• 11:47

• 14:53
Speaker 1: what I really hate. People who sing. People who sing
• 14:57
Speaker 1: when the radio and I'm in the card d it,
• 15:00

• 15:17
  Speaker 1: I don't you know what else people I don't like
• 15:19
Speaker 1: people who don't know when the conversation is over with
• 15:22
Speaker 1: on the phone. You ever talk somebody? Okay, all right,
• 15:31
Speaker 1: all right now? Yeah and then this, Yeah, I haven't

Speaker 1: People people will see it, see you with earbud zone.
• 15:54
Speaker 1: You got both of them in your ear. They see
• 15:56
Speaker 1: these white things in your ear, and they're trying to
• 15:59
Speaker 1: talk to you. You hate people who do that, don't
• 16:01
Speaker 1: you see I'm listening to something, damn it? Right? Yeah, yeah,
• 16:05
Speaker 1: I got it. I got him in here to talk. Yeah, yeah, no,

• 16:26
Speaker 1: You show? Yeah, all right on all in here, you know,
• 16:31
Speaker 1: complaining about the height of the curb, and you know
• 16:34
Speaker 1: they all they are to lower this down. Why the
• 16:38
Speaker 1: seal up on the top shelf? Hey dog, No, the
• 16:42
Speaker 1: seal is up down. You have a little get together
• 16:46
Speaker 1: at your house, which ain't regular. I ain't gonna have
• 16:48
Speaker 1: them all the time. I probably ain't had one in
• 16:50
Speaker 1: like eight years. But people who don't know when the
• 16:53
Speaker 1: party is over. Boy, once light start coming on, it's
• 16:58
Speaker 1: it's time to go home. Okay, time to take it.

• 17:27
Speaker 1: in the spirit running too that wall? Everything God got?
• 17:30
Speaker 1: That's not how that works. Yeah, you so into it?

• 18:17
Speaker 1: I hear? Go Ward? I don't like sitting in the

• 18:46
Speaker 1: But older people they do this a lot. They have
• 18:49
Speaker 1: the phone in their hands and the other person. You
• 18:52
Speaker 1: could hear the other person talking because they're holding the phone,
• 18:56
Speaker 1: so you hear two damned conversations. So what you gonna
• 19:00
Speaker 1: get off? I'm gonna be over there by four o'clock. Well,
• 19:03

• 21:18
Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. But right now, the
• 21:20
Speaker 1: nephew in the building would run that prank back. What
• 21:23
Speaker 1: you got for us? Now? Well, Charlotte, they are up
• 21:25
Speaker 1: this morning. They're getting ready to go get it done.
• 21:27
Speaker 1: I want to give a big shout out to all
• 21:29
Speaker 1: the shoplift is out there, all the shop, all you
• 21:32
Speaker 1: shoplift is out there. If we know you're getting dressed,
• 21:34
Speaker 1: you got work to do today. The nephew gotta you've
• 21:39
Speaker 1: got I gotta frank for you, baby. This right here
• 21:42
Speaker 1: is the shoplifted. Hello. Yes, I'm trying to reach a Tanya. Please,
• 21:52
Speaker 1: Hi Tanya. My name is Daniel, from the head of
• 21:55
Speaker 1: store security. Here at your job. Yeah, listen, I'm trying
• 22:00
Speaker 1: to see um. I'm gonna have to I know to
• 22:02
Speaker 1: day's your day off. I'm looking at the schedule here.
• 22:05
Speaker 1: It seems that you don't come back in until Saturday.
• 22:08
Speaker 1: I'm trying to see if it's possible I can get
• 22:10
Speaker 1: you to come to the store. There's a bit of
• 22:11
Speaker 1: a situation I want to discuss with you. There's about
• 22:14
Speaker 1: eighteen hundred dollars worth of merchandise missing from the store.
• 22:18
Speaker 1: But yeah, it's about eighteen hundred dollars worth of merchandise.
• 22:23
Speaker 1: And we definitely know that this is a in house situation.
• 22:26
Speaker 1: This is not someone walking in shoplifting. This is definitely
• 22:30
Speaker 1: an in house situation with employees who have evidently been
• 22:35
Speaker 1: shoplifting from the store, taking things, and we want to
• 22:37
Speaker 1: get down to the to the roots of the problem. Well, ma'am,
• 22:43
Speaker 1: it's uh, it's been brought to my attention that there's
• 22:46
Speaker 1: a possibility that you may be part of this situation.
• 22:51
Speaker 1: And I don't steal, you don't call my house accusing me.
• 22:58
Speaker 1: Is still I still listening from nobody? Okay, Well, my
• 23:02
Speaker 1: hangar man, what I'm trying to do is just trying
• 23:04
Speaker 1: to you, trying to say out and hold something and
• 23:08
Speaker 1: I stole them. Okay, wait just a second. Now, do
• 23:11
Speaker 1: you have a sister named Cynthia? Yeah, what about it? Well,
• 23:15
Speaker 1: now it seems that here on some of the footage
• 23:18
Speaker 1: that we have on camera that it's a possibility that
• 23:22
Speaker 1: it seems like your sister's actually wearing some of the
• 23:25
Speaker 1: merchandise that we sell here in the store. Okay, just
• 23:29
Speaker 1: because she wears something that we sell in the store,
• 23:32
Speaker 1: don't mean that I stole it. Well, we don't see
• 23:35
Speaker 1: where she's at. I've backed the footage up as far
• 23:38
Speaker 1: as I could. I don't see any footage of where
• 23:41
Speaker 1: she purchased this particular merchandise. And my assumption is maybe
• 23:45
Speaker 1: you gave it to her. I gave her And just
• 23:48
Speaker 1: because you don't see what somebody purchased it, don't mean
• 23:51
  Speaker 1: that it's been stolen. Okay, here's what I'm gonna I'm
• 23:54
Speaker 1: gonna just get to the chase of this, Tanya. What
• 23:56
Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to do is this if I can't
• 23:59
Speaker 1: get you to come to the store man. And matter
• 24:02
Speaker 1: of fact, here's another question for you before I go
• 24:04
Speaker 1: any further. You have children at all, Tanya? Yeah, I
• 24:07
Speaker 1: got children? Why do you? Is it possible? Because I'm
• 24:11
Speaker 1: missing a lot of baby merchandise as well? And you
• 24:15
Speaker 1: know what, you know what you really cruising for this morning? Okay,
• 24:21
Speaker 1: because you're gonna call somebody on the off day accusing
• 24:24
Speaker 1: them of stealing. Okay, here's what I gotta do. Are
• 24:27
Speaker 1: you coming into the office so I can talk with you.
• 24:30
Speaker 1: I'm not coming know where on my off day well,
• 24:34
Speaker 1: then what's gonna happen, Miss Tanya, is I'm gonna have
• 24:37
Speaker 1: to actually come to your home, check your closet. I'm
• 24:40
Speaker 1: gonna have to check your kids and see if they're
• 24:43
Speaker 1: check and see if they're wearing merchandise that big that
• 24:45
Speaker 1: comes from this. Come to my house if you want to,
• 24:48
Speaker 1: and they're gonna take your somebody here in the body back.
• 24:51
Speaker 1: Excuse me. You heard what I said. You heard what
• 24:54
Speaker 1: I said. You don't call nobody. I bust my death store.
• 24:58
Speaker 1: I bust my death store. You understand me. I work
• 25:01
  Speaker 1: hard for y'all. Okay, you're you've been busting you You've
• 25:04
Speaker 1: been busting your car here accusing me of stealing. I
• 25:08
  Speaker 1: ain't so from nobody. I don't have to steal. That's
• 25:11
Speaker 1: why I work all that. You understand. I think you've
• 25:14
Speaker 1: been busting your butt. Taking stuff is what you've been doing.
• 25:17
Speaker 1: You've been from nobody. You understand me. I do not steal.
• 25:22
Speaker 1: I'm gonna come over there. I'm checking your closet things,
• 25:25
Speaker 1: but it ain't no sea, if you understand. And I'm
• 25:27
Speaker 1: checking your babies as well, and I'm making check my
• 25:30
Speaker 1: babies to see what happens. You put your hands on
• 25:33
Speaker 1: any damn thing in here and see what happens. Okay,
• 25:36
Speaker 1: I don't want to have to drag your butt here.
• 25:39
Speaker 1: Oh you're gonna drag somebody? Oh? Now you threatening me?
• 25:42
Speaker 1: I don't want to drag by of your house security guy.
• 25:45
Speaker 1: You tough security guy. You like your job that much
• 25:47
Speaker 1: you're willing to die for that? Huh? Who said anything
• 25:50
Speaker 1: about me? Die? I did come over here, and that's
• 25:53
Speaker 1: what's gonna happen. That's what happens when you put people
• 25:56
Speaker 1: on the off days, you get hurt. Okay, I get
• 25:59
Speaker 1: a couple of damn days off, and y'all gonna call
• 26:02
Speaker 1: me with this boy? So are you threatening me? Now?
• 26:05
Speaker 1: I'm threatening you. Didn't you just call and say you
• 26:07
Speaker 1: was coming over here? Yes? I did bring you. I'm
• 26:12
Speaker 1: don't bring your security. I'm all. Don't let me tell
• 26:16
Speaker 1: you something. Okay, I can you. I can have you
• 26:19
Speaker 1: brought up on charges. You know that, Bring me up
• 26:21
Speaker 1: on charges and see what happens. You see if you

• 26:39
Speaker 1: tell me. You ain't got something. Why don't you go
• 26:42
Speaker 1: ahead and tell me what you took? Maybe I'll go
• 26:44
Speaker 1: light on you. I'll go like I'm stupid or something.
• 26:47
Speaker 1: You don't sound like a damn food. Why don't you

Speaker 1: table with nothing but women sat around all day. Every
• 32:44
Speaker 1: time I wouldn't leave, they wanted to leave, holding court,
• 32:50
Speaker 1: Holding Court, asked me anything we wanted buy the town.
• 32:54
  Speaker 1: I hate Junior Junior. I didn't even know Sheril. Y'all
• 32:59
Speaker 1: trying to give him something? All right, I understand. And
• 33:05
Speaker 1: so eight hundred and six eight four twenty eight, twenty
• 33:07
Speaker 1: five is the number to call. Come on, Steve, it's
• 33:10
Speaker 1: time for today's headlines. Ladies and gentlemen, Miss Anne Trip,
• 33:14
Speaker 1: thank you very much, everybody. The top ten Democratic presidential
• 33:18
Speaker 1: hopefuls took to the stage in Houston last night and
• 33:21
Speaker 1: This is the first time that some of the front
• 33:22
Speaker 1: runners actually shared the stage. They were generally courteous to
• 33:26
Speaker 1: each other, but they all going after, of course, the
• 33:28
Speaker 1: front run of Joe Biden. On most things they pretty
• 33:31
Speaker 1: much agreed. But with slight difference is there's a lot
• 33:33
Speaker 1: of discussion about guns. In any case, they all had
• 33:37
Speaker 1: something different to say on guns. They talked about to
• 33:41
Speaker 1: get background checks. I mean, some people just thought some
• 33:44
Speaker 1: candidates just thought that we just shouldn't have guns in
• 33:46
Speaker 1: the country at all, and others, you know, had other
• 33:49
Speaker 1: things to say. Oh, there are fewer than five months
• 33:51
Speaker 1: until the first votes are cast in Iowa. Top executives
• 33:55
Speaker 1: from some one hundred and fifty US companies, including Twitter
• 33:58
Speaker 1: and Dick Sporting Goods, by the way, falling on the
• 34:00
Speaker 1: Congress to make it harder to get a gun in
• 34:02
Speaker 1: this country. Their official plea comes in the wake of
• 34:05
Speaker 1: the most recent mask killings in Dayton, Ohio and l Pasto, Texas.
• 34:09
Speaker 1: Let's get back to the Democratic presidential debate. Well, do
• 34:12
Speaker 1: you think Trump is responsible for what happened? And I
• 34:14
Speaker 1: said he didn't pull the trigger, but he's certainly been
• 34:17
Speaker 1: tweeting out the ammunition. Hell yes, we're gonna take your
• 34:20
Speaker 1: aar fifteen. Well, let's bring everyone in America into the conversation. Republicans, Democrats,
• 34:25
Speaker 1: gun owners and non gun owners alive. Right now on
• 34:28
Speaker 1: Mitch McConnell's desk are three bills if you want action now.
• 34:32
Speaker 1: We got to send the message to miss McConnell. We
• 34:34
Speaker 1: can't wait until one of us gets in the White House.
• 34:37
Speaker 1: We have to pass those bills right now. These mass
• 34:40
Speaker 1: shootings are tragedies, but the majority of the homicide victims
• 34:44
Speaker 1: come from neighborhoods like mine. I will fight this and
• 34:47
Speaker 1: bring a fight to the NRA and the corporate gun
• 34:50
Speaker 1: lobby like they have never seen. We have a Congress
• 34:53
Speaker 1: that is beholden to the gun industry. As President, I
• 34:58
Speaker 1: will not be intimidated. And that's how it went in Chicago.
• 35:03
Speaker 1: Jury selection begins today in the murder trial for two
• 35:05
Speaker 1: of the three men charged with the deliberate murder of
• 35:08
Speaker 1: a nine year old little boy a Purport, the son
• 35:10
Speaker 1: of a reported gang member, that took place in twenty
• 35:12
Speaker 1: fifteen minutes, an attack that prosecutor say was meant to
• 35:15
Speaker 1: send a message to the father. The killing of Tyshawn
• 35:18
Speaker 1: Lee again, he was nine years old that killing shocked
• 35:21
Speaker 1: and disgusted the community. Authorities say the fourth grade was
• 35:24
Speaker 1: lured away from a playground into an alley where he
• 35:26
Speaker 1: was shot and killed. In Texas, twenty one year old
• 35:29
Speaker 1: white man accused of gunning down twenty two people at
• 35:31
Speaker 1: an El Paso walmart has been formally and died this
• 35:34
Speaker 1: week for capital murder and a restaurant issued yesterday for
• 35:37
Speaker 1: r Kelly and Minnesota after he failed to appear for
• 35:39
Speaker 1: a hearing. He faces a couple accounts of engaging a
• 35:42
Speaker 1: prostitution in person in Minnesota's currently though being held at
• 35:45
Speaker 1: the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Chicago, where he's held on
• 35:49
Speaker 1: federal sex crime chargers. Finally, though, today is Friday the thirteenth,
• 35:53
Speaker 1: which for sums an unlucky day. I totally hear you
• 35:57
Speaker 1: on that one. Now back to the Steve Rvey Morning Show.
• 36:00
Speaker 1: You're listening to this day Morning Show. Well, guys, last
• 36:04
Speaker 1: night in Houston on the campus of Texas Southern University,
• 36:08
Speaker 1: it was the third national debate for the Democratic presidential candidates.
• 36:13
Speaker 1: Minnesota Senator Amy Klobachar, New Jersey Senator Corey Booker, South Bend,
• 36:18
Speaker 1: Indiana Mayor Pete Budajug Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, former VP
• 36:22
Speaker 1: Joe Biden, Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, California Senator Kamala Harris,
• 36:27
Speaker 1: businessman Andrew Yang, former Texas Congressman Beto O'Rourke, former Housing
• 36:33
Speaker 1: and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro. So what do you
• 36:37
Speaker 1: guys think? I mean, you know, yeah, all right, Steve,
• 36:40
Speaker 1: I gotta ask you this. Who's your top five out
• 36:43
Speaker 1: of those ten? I just named you think top five candidates?
• 36:48
Speaker 1: Who who do you like best out of the ten?
• 36:52
Speaker 1: And I just named Huh, Well, here's who I think
• 36:56
Speaker 1: it is. The top five is Uh, Kamela is in
• 37:05
Speaker 1: the top five, Biden is in the top five, Bernie
• 37:12
Speaker 1: is in the top five. Uh. Somebody's calling me. It
• 37:17
Speaker 1: might be Corey Booker. He's not in the top five. No,
• 37:24
Speaker 1: I mean, man, I just talk. I just think about reality. Man.
• 37:28
Speaker 1: I'm just being real. Listen, man, listen you. I'm trying
• 37:32
Speaker 1: to pick the people that I think have a chance
• 37:35
Speaker 1: of beating Donald Trump. Yes, that's the only thing that
• 37:42
Speaker 1: can that can help us, man. I mean, he's he's
• 37:46
Speaker 1: now voted to repeal the Obama Clean Water Act. Did
• 37:55
Speaker 1: you hear that the other day. Yeah, I mean yeah,
• 37:59
Speaker 1: I'm just like craziness. Yeah, why would you repeal the
• 38:04
Speaker 1: Clean Water ECC which stops plants and chemical companies from
• 38:11
Speaker 1: dumping into our lakes and rivers? He's repealing that? So no, man,
• 38:19
Speaker 1: I'm as serious now, folks, it's really serious. We gotta
• 38:22
Speaker 1: get the top five. I think our best chance of
• 38:25
Speaker 1: beating him is Biden. Oh yeah, he's still the front
• 38:30
Speaker 1: runner too. Second place that we could we could whip
• 38:33
Speaker 1: him is Camela. That's number two, Camella. This is your
• 38:38
Speaker 1: top five. Oh, Bernie, I ain't never you know, I
• 38:44
Speaker 1: just ain't crazy about him President. You a sound like
• 38:50
Speaker 1: he ain't gonna make it, all right? Hang on, Steve
• 38:52
Speaker 1: coming up at thirty four after the hour, nephew, tell me,
• 38:56
Speaker 1: is gonna give us a few reasons to let you
• 38:58
Speaker 1: know that you're not ready to love right after this,
• 39:01
Speaker 1: and Steve, you can finish your top five right after this.
• 39:05
Speaker 1: You're listening show, all right. The nephew, of course, we
• 39:10
Speaker 1: know is the host for Ready to Love. You're gonna
• 39:12
Speaker 1: tell us about that. And just a minute, nephew, but
• 39:14
Speaker 1: we wanted to get back to your your top five
• 39:17
Speaker 1: Democratic candidates Steve, who did I pick in the top?
• 39:20
Speaker 1: You pick Miss Kamala, Harron, Joe Biden, Biden and Senator
• 39:25
Speaker 1: Bernie saying, yeah, you were talking about Bernie when we
• 39:27
Speaker 1: went to break. That's that's all I think. Kind of chance, man, Oh,
• 39:34
Speaker 1: that can actually beat President Trump right there because she's
• 39:40
Speaker 1: she's Jesus right behind Biden leading. Yeah, I'm starting to
• 39:48
Speaker 1: listen to what she has to say. Yeah, you know what,
• 39:51
Speaker 1: listen to me. I'm not talking about policy. I'm talking
• 39:56
Speaker 1: about the reality of who can beat Donald Trump. Because
• 39:59
Speaker 1: guess what, ain't None of Donald Trump's policy is good
• 40:03
Speaker 1: for us, none of them. So guess what. I just
• 40:08
Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out how you get him out.
• 40:11
Speaker 1: And these are the only three people that have a
• 40:13
Speaker 1: chance of getting him out. These and you know why
• 40:18
Speaker 1: I think they. Let me tell you something, man, Women
• 40:23
Speaker 1: voters stunned me last election. Female voters stunned me last
• 40:30
Speaker 1: election because candidate right and and the and the Trump
• 40:37
Speaker 1: supported the Trump's. The female Trump supporter base is stunning
• 40:43
Speaker 1: to me, man, because it's when you hear women talk
• 40:47
Speaker 1: like that, it's disheartening. I understand men talking like that.
• 40:53
Speaker 1: I'm around them at golf courses and in rooms, and
• 40:57
Speaker 1: I got them talking like that. Man, when you hear
• 41:01
Speaker 1: women talking about right, hey, man, when women don't care
• 41:05
Speaker 1: about babies getting separated at the border, when they don't
• 41:09
Speaker 1: care about families, when they don't care about the little man.
• 41:13
Speaker 1: When once women start talking like that, we have a problem, partner,
• 41:17
Speaker 1: we have a problem. We have a real problem. And
• 41:21
Speaker 1: that that's what a norss me about the Trump base.
• 41:27
Speaker 1: And it's a lot of women in that base, man.
• 41:31
Speaker 1: All right, so the three yeah, and they're married to
• 41:37
Speaker 1: those types of men. Yeah, so okay, all right, okay,
• 41:45
Speaker 1: well we're gonna move on. Switch three. I'm sorry, Yeah,
• 41:52

• 42:31
Speaker 1: you show up at the audition, but you got your
• 42:34
Speaker 1: girlfriend on hole and lied about where you're going. Yeah,
• 42:39

• 42:45
Speaker 1: If you show up at the audition but your mama
• 42:48
Speaker 1: waiting on you to bring her car back. You know
• 42:52
Speaker 1: you live with her. You live with her. You're not ready, Temmy,
• 42:57
Speaker 1: you're talking about the fellas. I'm talking about straight Melace.
• 43:00
Speaker 1: That's what I'm talking about. Okay. If your credit score
• 43:04
Speaker 1: is a seventh, come on, come on, man, what is
• 43:08
Speaker 1: that to love? You ain't got time? Okay. If this
• 43:17
Speaker 1: is your tenth audition for a dating show, come on, man,
• 43:22

Speaker 1: that I'm a little puzzled on. How long have you
• 47:03
Speaker 1: guys actually been married. Well, we've been together about three
• 47:06
Speaker 1: two years okay, now, prior to being married three years.

• 47:17
Speaker 1: You guys have been knowing each other pretty couch nine
• 47:19
Speaker 1: years now all together. Yeah, okay. Are you actually from
• 47:23
Speaker 1: the same hometowns? You grew up in the same hometown? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
• 47:28
Speaker 1: we grew up. I mean if I'm I'm sorry, is
• 47:30
Speaker 1: this question? I mean, is this about the insurance or well,
• 47:33
Speaker 1: I mean there's a few things that's that actually uh puzzling,
• 47:38
Speaker 1: Carmen that we need to this is this is some
• 47:42
Speaker 1: news I actually didn't want to bring you, guys. I
• 47:44
Speaker 1: mean we have to. I have to actually give you
• 47:47
Speaker 1: this news. Looking at our records, looking at all the
• 47:49
Speaker 1: test results, and let me be the person to tell
• 47:51
Speaker 1: you that we run these results over and over and over,
• 47:55
Speaker 1: trying to make sure we are completely one hundred and
• 47:57
Speaker 1: fifteen twenty percent right, okay, wrong with the test? Well,
• 48:01
Speaker 1: looking at our test, guys, Harvey a garment, it's indicating
• 48:06
Speaker 1: that you guys are related. And nine times I'd attend
• 48:10
Speaker 1: you are you guys are siblings? Man? What? Ok? And
• 48:19
Speaker 1: I understand the shot. It took me. It took everything
• 48:21
Speaker 1: I had to make this phone call. I did not
• 48:23
Speaker 1: want to make it. But looking at our records, and
• 48:25
Speaker 1: we went over these records over and over and and
• 48:29
Speaker 1: and the blow works told us that you guys are
• 48:31
Speaker 1: actually siblings. Oh man, are you serious? Man? I'm actually
• 48:43
Speaker 1: this is not that. This is not a laughing matter,
• 48:44
Speaker 1: not a joking matter. You know, Like I said, I
• 48:47
Speaker 1: did not want to call with this information. What you
• 48:50
Speaker 1: did make the call? Man? Look, I don't know what
• 48:55
Speaker 1: You need to go back and and and double check
• 48:57
Speaker 1: your records or something. Because you've been married three brief
• 49:02
Speaker 1: check with the lab man, can't you check with the
• 49:04
Speaker 1: laugh and like Paula's back, Harvey and I knew those
• 49:09
Speaker 1: questions would have come up, and we we went over it.
• 49:11
Speaker 1: We went over it and over and over it. Y'all
• 49:15
Speaker 1: need to go over it again because I don't Oh babe,
• 49:19
Speaker 1: I got this. You make the call and this gotta
• 49:23
Speaker 1: be wrong. So what you need to do is make
• 49:24
Speaker 1: another call it called a lab and call us back
• 49:28
Speaker 1: and let us know that you either you know they
• 49:30
Speaker 1: made a mistake or you're talking about me and my wife.
• 49:34
Speaker 1: And I understand that, Hardy, Harry, let me ask you
• 49:36
Speaker 1: this is it possible, you know, and this is just
• 49:39
Speaker 1: a question. Is it possible that your dad and maybe
• 49:41
Speaker 1: her mom maybe knew each other at some point? And
• 49:44
Speaker 1: what you're saying for my mom and dad, that's some
• 49:49
Speaker 1: straight look at You need to haven go back and
• 49:51
Speaker 1: do whatever you need to do. But I tell you
• 49:53
Speaker 1: what you say something like that again, I tell you,
• 49:56
Speaker 1: my bad's gonna be coming down that beach like that
• 50:00
Speaker 1: old baby, old baby, baby baby. I don't know, baby,
• 50:02
Speaker 1: I got it. He hold on, I got a baby.

Speaker 1: is bringing you the result or I don't you bring
• 50:16
Speaker 1: me results in person? And I bet I whomp y'all.
• 50:19
Speaker 1: That's what I'm talking about. Hey, sir, even if you
• 50:22
Speaker 1: beat the messenger at the end of the day, that's
• 50:24
Speaker 1: still your sister. At the end of the day. I'm
• 50:26
  Speaker 1: gonna whop y'all. But I don't care what you're talking

Speaker 1: about nothing. He ain't my damn brother. I got it.
• 50:32
Speaker 1: I'm gonna find out you off whatever jupericle you in.
• 50:35
Speaker 1: You're gonna call me telling about brother. It's my wife.
• 50:39
Speaker 1: I am calling that, sir. Somewhere down the line, somebody
• 50:41
Speaker 1: made a mistake, and you guys, my brother and sister
• 50:44
Speaker 1: got married. I'm not at fart for that. Let me

• 53:17
Speaker 1: on tight. We got it for you here. It is
• 53:19
Speaker 1: Strawberry letter, subject show business isn't for everyone. There, Stephen Shirley,
• 53:24
Speaker 1: I'm a fifty year old, devoted wife with a big problem.
• 53:28
Speaker 1: I've been married to a great man for twenty three
• 53:31
Speaker 1: years and we have two kids in college. He's a
• 53:33
Speaker 1: great provider and we both have solid careers, but he
• 53:37
Speaker 1: has always had a big dream. He wants to be
• 53:40
Speaker 1: a big Broadway actor. My husband wants badly to be
• 53:44
Speaker 1: an actor, but he's never been able to make it work.
• 53:47
Speaker 1: He's auditioned for a lot of commercials, he's taking act
• 53:50
Speaker 1: he's take in acting classes, and he has wasted our
• 53:54
Speaker 1: money on hustling his way into some big auditions, but
• 53:57
Speaker 1: each time he was rejected. The most he's achieved is
• 54:01
Speaker 1: some unpaid adult roles in the local children's theater. To
• 54:05
Speaker 1: put it plainly, he can't act worth a darn and
• 54:08
Speaker 1: he can't sing to save his life. I love him,
• 54:12
Speaker 1: but it's the truth. Our friends and family have sat
• 54:15
Speaker 1: through too many bad productions and local plays, and I
• 54:18
Speaker 1: simply can't do it anymore. We constantly have to lie
• 54:22
Speaker 1: and tell him. He's good, and we know that we
• 54:24
Speaker 1: are giving him false encouragement. My biggest problem is now
• 54:27
Speaker 1: that our kids are in college, he has come up
• 54:29
Speaker 1: with a crazy idea of moving to New York so
• 54:32
Speaker 1: he can finally make it big as an actor. He
• 54:36
Speaker 1: has no professional experience, but he thinks he just needs
• 54:40
Speaker 1: to be discovered to get his first big break. I
• 54:43
Speaker 1: don't know how to tell him it's not going to
• 54:44
Speaker 1: happen without crushing his spirit. What has a wife to
• 54:47
Speaker 1: do when you know your man's hopes most likely will
• 54:51
Speaker 1: never be a reality. Steve, you're a superstar, So what
• 54:54
Speaker 1: advice do you have for someone who has to tell
• 54:57
Speaker 1: their spouse there definitely not going to make it. You
• 55:00
Speaker 1: can't upgroup my life with a delusion. Please help Well,
• 55:04
Speaker 1: does he have any talent at all? Nothing? Nothing? Because
• 55:11
Speaker 1: on one hand, you definitely need to stop lying to him,
• 55:14
Speaker 1: you and all your friends, and you all have to
• 55:16
Speaker 1: tell him the truth. If you really love him like
• 55:19
Speaker 1: you say you do, and those are really his friends,
• 55:22
Speaker 1: you guys have to sit him down and tell him
• 55:24
Speaker 1: the truth. Maybe he didn't take enough acting classes sometimes,
• 55:29
Speaker 1: you know, maybe he needs more. You know, sometimes you
• 55:32
Speaker 1: can you know, maybe on the other hand, you don't
• 55:36
Speaker 1: want to be the one to just kill his dream.
• 55:38
Speaker 1: This is a dream of his, so you know, you
• 55:41
Speaker 1: gotta you have to support him as a wife because
• 55:45
Speaker 1: you know he's going to be crushed to know that
• 55:47
Speaker 1: you really don't believe in him, all right, But obviously
• 55:50
Speaker 1: he believes in himself, which is a good thing, no
• 55:53
Speaker 1: matter how many rejections he's gotten. Because I mean, actors
• 55:58
Speaker 1: say this all the time about the rejections they have
• 56:01
Speaker 1: to deal with, and they do have to deal with
• 56:03
Speaker 1: a lot of rejections. And no, I don't think that
• 56:06
Speaker 1: you should uproot your life, but I do think, you know,
• 56:10
Speaker 1: maybe you should have one more good chance for him,
• 56:13
Speaker 1: you know, give him a chance to pursue his dream.
• 56:16
Speaker 1: You know, pick a date, uh, set up some auditions,
• 56:20
Speaker 1: send out some videotapes, video auditions, video auditions, and if
• 56:24
Speaker 1: he gets a bite, if he gets you know, a
• 56:26
Speaker 1: callback or something, maybe then he can go to New York.
• 56:30
Speaker 1: If it's something something permanent. Okay, But I would encourage
• 56:34
Speaker 1: him to keep taking those classes because I don't think
• 56:36
Speaker 1: he should kill his dream. I don't he has it,
• 56:40
Speaker 1: he has I don't want her to crush this time.
• 56:46
Speaker 1: This time out for this. Too old for this, fifty
• 56:50
Speaker 1: years old. You've been with this man twenty three years.
• 56:53
Speaker 1: He ain't made it hit Damn kids is gonna have degrees,
• 56:57
  Speaker 1: so he'd make it. He's a great provider, that's what
• 57:02
Speaker 1: he is. Got a solid career, that's what That's what
• 57:08
Speaker 1: he is. He's always had a big dream. He wants
• 57:12
Speaker 1: to be a big Broadway actor. My husband wants badly
• 57:17
Speaker 1: be an actor, but he ain't never been able to
• 57:19
Speaker 1: make it work. He'd an audition for commercials. He taking
• 57:24
Speaker 1: acting classes. He didn't wasted money hustling his way into
• 57:29
Speaker 1: some big auditions, and every time he rejected because he
• 57:34
Speaker 1: can't act. Your damn husband can't act. But whatever, that's
• 57:42
Speaker 1: why he always getting That's why he got to hustle
• 57:44
Speaker 1: his way into these auditions. Ain't nobody asked him to
• 57:47
Speaker 1: come down now they had him at the other auditions.
• 57:52
Speaker 1: He can't act. The most he's achieving some unpaid adult
• 57:59
Speaker 1: roles the local children's theater. Now, old fat ass, and
• 58:04
Speaker 1: somewhere he did treat the tree. You're in the children's theater,
• 58:11
Speaker 1: Your big ass is the treat. To put it plainly,
• 58:18
Speaker 1: he can't act worth for damn. I said this two letters,
• 58:22
Speaker 1: two sentences in. He can't act word for damn and
• 58:28
Speaker 1: can't sing to save his life. So if somebody had
• 58:33
Speaker 1: a gun on him and said, if you can sound
• 58:36
Speaker 1: like any record out today, I won't shoot you. His
• 58:39
Speaker 1: ass to be shot. I love him, but it's the truth,
• 58:44
Speaker 1: and the truth will set you free, friends and family
• 58:48
Speaker 1: to set through too many bad productions and local plays,
• 58:52
Speaker 1: and I can't do it, no damn more just sending
• 58:56
Speaker 1: up lying to his old ass, telling him he good,
• 58:59
Speaker 1: and we know we giving him false encouragement. Your ass
• 59:02
Speaker 1: ain't nothing but a tree. Now, he didn't came up
• 59:11
Speaker 1: with some crazy idea of moving in New York. You
• 59:13
Speaker 1: know how much it costs live in New York. You
• 59:18
Speaker 1: don't fit to high his old ass, and he ain't
• 59:21
Speaker 1: been nothing but a tree. We come back. I'm gonna
• 59:27
Speaker 1: tell you the rest of it. How about you don't
• 59:30
Speaker 1: want to kill his dream? Ain't no damn dream? All right,
• 59:34
Speaker 1: we'll have part two of Steve's very sweet response coming
• 59:37
Speaker 1: up at twenty three after the hour. Today's subject is
• 59:41
Speaker 1: show business isn't for everyone. It isn't for everyone, and
• 59:45
Speaker 1: it may not be for your husband. We'll be back
• 59:47
Speaker 1: with part two at twenty three after right after this,
• 59:50
Speaker 1: you're listening to show, all right, Steve, Come on, let's
• 59:55
Speaker 1: recap today's Strawberry Letters. Subject show business isn't for everyone.
• 1:00:00
Speaker 1: Fifty old man been married to this fifty year old dude.
• 1:00:02
Speaker 1: Fifty year old woman. She'd been married to this man
• 1:00:05
Speaker 1: twenty three years. The kids and went off to college.
• 1:00:08
Speaker 1: He'd been trying to make it as an actor all
• 1:00:09
Speaker 1: this time. He can't. He hadn't been auditions. He always
• 1:00:13
Speaker 1: get rejected, and he'd hustle his way into big auditions,
• 1:00:17
Speaker 1: he always get rejected. He just he can't act. You know.
• 1:00:23
Speaker 1: He hadn't been in some unpaid adult roles in a
• 1:00:26
Speaker 1: local children's theater. We all know what that means. He
• 1:00:29
Speaker 1: can't act with for damn. He can't saying word for damn.
• 1:00:33
Speaker 1: He's a good provider, but other than that, he's not
• 1:00:37
Speaker 1: worth for damn. Now, let's just speak clear. Wow, friends
• 1:00:44
Speaker 1: and families and sect do too many bad productions and
• 1:00:47
Speaker 1: local plays, and you can't do it no more. Where
• 1:00:50
Speaker 1: you think you can't do it your friends, is damn
• 1:00:52
Speaker 1: show time. Ah Here he can, he probably won't in
• 1:00:57
Speaker 1: plays where he's selling tickets to it. Everybody in the
• 1:01:01
Speaker 1: plane got to sell fifteen tickets. Yeah, that's probably what
• 1:01:04
Speaker 1: he doing. He can't act. I was scared when I
• 1:01:10
Speaker 1: first saw this letter that but but because I thought
• 1:01:15
Speaker 1: it was about somebody I knew. But then it turned
• 1:01:21
Speaker 1: on because oh, he do want to be a big
• 1:01:24
Speaker 1: Broadway actor. Now I was just saying it was somebody
• 1:01:32
Speaker 1: I know. He auditioned for a lot of commercial he
• 1:01:35
Speaker 1: took acting classes, but then it started going bad because
• 1:01:39
Speaker 1: he said, but he can't act one for damn. So
• 1:01:41
Speaker 1: then I knew it wasn't Tim because Tommy asked can act.
• 1:01:45
Speaker 1: But at first I was very I was gonna do it,
• 1:01:51
Speaker 1: but then you know, it said he can't act, and
• 1:01:55
Speaker 1: that's Tommy can really act though, so I had I
• 1:01:59
Speaker 1: had to bang up off. So he's not nobody. I know.
• 1:02:02
Speaker 1: He has no professoral experience. He just thinks he needs
• 1:02:06
Speaker 1: to be discovered to get his first big break. I
• 1:02:08
Speaker 1: don't know how to tell him it's not gonna happen
• 1:02:10
Speaker 1: without crushing his spirit. We got to get this spirit crushing.
• 1:02:16
Speaker 1: We have gotten soon for y'all mess around and he
• 1:02:20
Speaker 1: find a place in Manhattan. Y'all ass gonna starve to
• 1:02:24
Speaker 1: death going up there trying to be a starving actor.
• 1:02:31
Speaker 1: Now listen to me. First of all, here's the truth.
• 1:02:33
Speaker 1: This is not a dream that you're crushing. This is
• 1:02:36
Speaker 1: his delusion. He's delusion. He's not dreaming. This is a delusion.
• 1:02:46
Speaker 1: And if you go to night if you go to
• 1:02:48
Speaker 1: New York, this's gonna become a night man. Here's something
• 1:02:53
Speaker 1: else we need to come to the realization. All dreams
• 1:02:58
Speaker 1: don't come true. They don't. Sixteen years old, I dreamed
• 1:03:09
Speaker 1: of Michelle Piers. It's always because then people can respect
• 1:03:16
Speaker 1: your transparency and maybe he can see some of him
• 1:03:19
Speaker 1: in me. Now I dreamed of Michelle Pierce at sixteen.
• 1:03:26
Speaker 1: What happened? Michelle Pierce been married twice to everybody, but
• 1:03:37
Speaker 1: Michelle Pierce came to one of my shows in Columbus,
• 1:03:40
Speaker 1: Ohio with her husband. Oh my god, Handsome, I can't
• 1:03:47
Speaker 1: believe you've made it. She called me handsome, she got you.
• 1:03:53
Speaker 1: I knew she was lying. I like somebody else, never
• 1:04:00
Speaker 1: really heard that before any through me. What do you
• 1:04:03
Speaker 1: mean like someone else? What? He back over here? No,
• 1:04:08
Speaker 1: if you throw a rock in a pack of dogs,
• 1:04:14
Speaker 1: the one that holler is the one you hit Junior. No,
• 1:04:19
Speaker 1: he's not attractive. Jay knows he's not attractive. See that,
• 1:04:29
Speaker 1: I'm not I'm not getting this last this show that
• 1:04:34
Speaker 1: got a problem with it is the one that's I'm
• 1:04:38
Speaker 1: not getting in this. So now, y'all, I'm with you,
• 1:04:42
Speaker 1: agree with you. Yeah, all dreams don't come true. Now,
• 1:04:47
Speaker 1: if y'all, if you don't put this out of his head,
• 1:04:49
  Speaker 1: y'all ass gonna be in New y'all. And I can't
• 1:04:54
Speaker 1: tell you how much that's gonna cost. And these great
• 1:04:57
Speaker 1: careers y'all got gonna be over because his job don't
• 1:04:59
Speaker 1: transfer to New York. Nick, are you gonna be up
• 1:05:03
Speaker 1: there in the back of something Broadway theater swipping, sweeping,
• 1:05:06
Speaker 1: trying to be evidence Champagne King that he just gonna
• 1:05:09
Speaker 1: bust out singing movies all roll then he gonna get
• 1:05:19
Speaker 1: fired from the mopping jo. We need to stop this
• 1:05:24
Speaker 1: before it gets started. You and your friends need to
• 1:05:27
Speaker 1: sit down. It's really not your friends. Don't include your friends.
• 1:05:31
Speaker 1: You have to sit down as the wife and go, honey, listen,
• 1:05:36
Speaker 1: Harry step You can't you can't act by saying all right,
• 1:05:41

Speaker 1: no end to this? I love your attitude. You have
• 1:19:31
Speaker 1: the best attitude. You absolutely do. Yeah, you are j Yeah,
• 1:19:37
Speaker 1: you're a great example. All right, Steve, it's time for
• 1:19:40
Speaker 1: you to take us through the weekend with your closing remarks. Hey,
• 1:19:45
Speaker 1: you know, I've been sharing lately about the revelations that
• 1:19:53
Speaker 1: oh I came to on my vacation this summer. It's
• 1:19:57
Speaker 1: probably the best one I've ever done, because I got,
• 1:20:02
Speaker 1: I got spiritually, I just became a better person. And uh,
• 1:20:07
Speaker 1: you know, the old meat crops up every now and then. Uh,
• 1:20:12
  Speaker 1: I don't I don't know that he leaves permanently. Uh.
• 1:20:17
Speaker 1: I'm in a battle with him from time to time
• 1:20:20
Speaker 1: because he certainly wants to do some talking sometimes when
• 1:20:23
  Speaker 1: he shouldn't. But that's just I guess that's something to
• 1:20:27
Speaker 1: be ongoing. I guess we all are working progress process progress, right.
• 1:20:31
Speaker 1: But one of the things, man, I had come to
• 1:20:33
Speaker 1: the conclusion I wanted to share with y'all. You know,
• 1:20:37
Speaker 1: I really, uh came into a new light of understanding
• 1:20:42
Speaker 1: what the Lord's prayers. And one of the lines in
• 1:20:44
Speaker 1: the Lord's prayers says, uh, that will be done on
• 1:20:48
Speaker 1: earth as it is in heaven. And I never really
• 1:20:52
Speaker 1: thought about that much. And then it started dawning on
• 1:20:56
Speaker 1: me that when you say thy will be done on
• 1:21:03
Speaker 1: earth as it is in heaven, you're really just trying
• 1:21:05
Speaker 1: to really align yourself up with the will of God.
• 1:21:11
Speaker 1: And what that what that meant for me was, in
• 1:21:13
Speaker 1: the simple layman terms, was you know, you've often heard
• 1:21:19
Speaker 1: people say, whatever your plan is, God's plan is way
• 1:21:22
Speaker 1: better than your plan. So for me, in a simple
• 1:21:26
Speaker 1: way to put it, it was just thy will be
• 1:21:29
Speaker 1: done on earth as it is in heaven. So whatever
• 1:21:32
Speaker 1: whatever it is you got for me down here on earth,
• 1:21:35
Speaker 1: you know, you know, let's uh, you know, let's make
• 1:21:39
Speaker 1: that happen and line me up into that way of thinking.
• 1:21:44
Speaker 1: So your will be done on earth as it is
• 1:21:47
Speaker 1: in heaven. So you can't do that, But can I
• 1:21:50
Speaker 1: be truthful what your hears? What's happening for years? Man?
• 1:21:54
Speaker 1: And I don't know if a lot of people like this,
• 1:21:56
Speaker 1: but I really think it is. Most of us don't
• 1:22:02
Speaker 1: want to ask God to let his will be done
• 1:22:05
Speaker 1: in our life for a simple fact that we think
• 1:22:10
Speaker 1: that He's gonna have us doing something that we don't
• 1:22:13
Speaker 1: want to do. I mean, let's be honest with it.
• 1:22:17
Speaker 1: Most of us running too the conflict of having God's
• 1:22:22
Speaker 1: will be done because we think that he's gonna have
• 1:22:27
Speaker 1: us out there knocking on doors, you know, thumping a Bible,
• 1:22:31
Speaker 1: and and and getting all up in people every where
• 1:22:34
Speaker 1: you go to witnessing and trying to tell him about something,
• 1:22:38
Speaker 1: and losing your friends and all this here. You really
• 1:22:42
Speaker 1: didn't want and I didn't want to ask God to
• 1:22:46
Speaker 1: let his will be done in my life because I
• 1:22:47
Speaker 1: thought he was gonna have me. He was gonna make
• 1:22:51
Speaker 1: me do somebody want to do. But do you know
• 1:22:54
Speaker 1: what the truth of the matter was, what I was
• 1:22:56
Speaker 1: really afraid of was I was afraid that I was
• 1:23:00
Speaker 1: gonna have to stop doing what I wanted to do.
• 1:23:04
Speaker 1: It wasn't that I was so afraid of what he
• 1:23:08
Speaker 1: wanted me to do, but I was more concerned with
• 1:23:12
Speaker 1: what I was gonna have to stop doing what I
• 1:23:15
Speaker 1: wanted to do because I was young. I'm having fun,
• 1:23:21
Speaker 1: I'm doing me, I'm living my best life. No, man,
• 1:23:29
  Speaker 1: I wasn't. I wasn't living my best life. It wasn't
• 1:23:35
Speaker 1: going that good for me, or I was doing like
• 1:23:39
Speaker 1: I wanted to. But that was unchecked and it wasn't
• 1:23:43
Speaker 1: a good way to be, man. It just wasn't. And
• 1:23:47
Speaker 1: if you're in that space right now, let me just
• 1:23:50
Speaker 1: be a little bit encouraging to you that what God
• 1:23:54
Speaker 1: has for you. Man, it's so much greater than what
• 1:23:57
Speaker 1: you could possibly won't for yourself. You can't even really
• 1:24:01
Speaker 1: imagine how cool God is. You know, y'all think, man,
• 1:24:06
Speaker 1: that God makes you stuck stuck up in all this,
• 1:24:09
Speaker 1: you know, mant God actually wants you to have a
• 1:24:11
Speaker 1: good time. God wants you to enjoy yourself. He wants
• 1:24:14
Speaker 1: you to enjoy life. He wants you to stop worrying.
• 1:24:17
Speaker 1: He wants you to stop being overburdened. He wants you
• 1:24:20
Speaker 1: to stop taking everything on your own and tripping. He
• 1:24:23
Speaker 1: wants you to hand it to him. God really wants
• 1:24:25
Speaker 1: you to relax and chill. He's really really a cool God.
• 1:24:29
Speaker 1: That relationship that you fam with God, it's really a
• 1:24:31
Speaker 1: cool relationship. It really is. Man. But you got so
• 1:24:36
Speaker 1: many church folks got you thinking that this relationship with
• 1:24:39
Speaker 1: God is sitting up with your nose in the air,
• 1:24:41
Speaker 1: dressed up on Sundays, you know, looking down on people
• 1:24:45
Speaker 1: in pass and judgment. That's them, that ain't God. That's them,
• 1:24:51
Speaker 1: that is not God. God. That's not a requirement. I
• 1:24:56
Speaker 1: wish I had known this a long time ago, because
• 1:24:59
Speaker 1: out of straightened up a long time ago. But man
• 1:25:03
Speaker 1: formal relationship with God. Ask God for his will to
• 1:25:07
Speaker 1: be done in your life, because what you don't understand
• 1:25:10
Speaker 1: is He got a great plan for you. He wants
• 1:25:12
Speaker 1: you to prosper. He wants you to benefit from all
• 1:25:15
Speaker 1: the things he has. He wants you to enjoy it
• 1:25:18
Speaker 1: and be a recipient of His blessings and grace, and
• 1:25:20
Speaker 1: he wants you to enjoy your life. He really does.
• 1:25:24
Speaker 1: I know a lot of people that's enjoying their life
• 1:25:26
Speaker 1: and they got relationship with God. Don't let the devil
• 1:25:29
Speaker 1: fool you, man and make you think he gonna turn
• 1:25:31
Speaker 1: you into something you don't want to be. He might
• 1:25:33
Speaker 1: mess around and turn you into something y'all always wanted
• 1:25:36
Speaker 1: to be, in a better version of the one you
• 1:25:38
Speaker 1: thought of. Those are my closing remarks today. Y'all have
