- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn them out. Then turn the water the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water go. Come come on your tha, aha, I said, aha,
- 2:04Speaker 1: I show will, Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:09Speaker 1: come on dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey
- 2:12Speaker 1: got the radio show. I feel it's necessary to explain
- 2:15Speaker 1: what I say in the morning because somebody asked me,
- 2:18Speaker 1: what do you mean by that when you say that
- 2:20Speaker 1: in the morning. When I say huh, it's in response
- 2:25Speaker 1: to David Hollister opening the song by saying, go ahead,
- 2:28Speaker 1: big Daddy, go ahead, I said, uh huh. I show will.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Then I say good morning everybody. Because I was raised
- 2:36Speaker 1: at Ray, You're supposed to speak when you come in
- 2:38Speaker 1: the room. I'm coming in y'all's room, whether it's your
- 2:41Speaker 1: bad room, the room in your house, your car, your office,
- 2:46Speaker 1: you know, wherever you at, I come in the room
- 2:48Speaker 1: or God speaks, I say good morning, everybody. You are
- 2:52Speaker 1: listening to the voice, and then I got to introduce
- 2:54Speaker 1: myself because as a performer, I always felt my best
- 2:59Speaker 1: when I was introduced. It's knowing. Why would you walk
- 3:01Speaker 1: out on stage anybody introduce you? You know you can't
- 3:04Speaker 1: get the round of applause. It's just it's horrible. So
- 3:07Speaker 1: I say, you are listening to the voice wanting only
- 3:10Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. Come on, dig me now. Now that's old school.
- 3:15Speaker 1: I got that, but that's I was once again. Dig me, Now,
- 3:19Speaker 1: is I want you to feel what I'm about to say.
- 3:22Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying. That's not a bragging thing. You know,
- 3:27Speaker 1: you are listening to the voice wanting only Steve Harvey.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Come on, dig me now, I'm just asking you to
- 3:33Speaker 1: feel what I'm saying in the morning because it's part
- 3:35Speaker 1: of a promise that I made to God. See a
- 3:38Speaker 1: long time ago, I told God, if he allowed me
- 3:41Speaker 1: to make it, that when I got there, I would
- 3:44Speaker 1: tell everybody I know how I did it, and I
- 3:48Speaker 1: wasn't gonna shortcut it or shade him on it. I said,
- 3:51Speaker 1: if you allow me to make it, if you give
- 3:53Speaker 1: me the strength, the courage, the wisdom, you gave me
- 3:57Speaker 1: a gift if you let me apply it, don't destroy
- 4:01Speaker 1: myself in the process. Forgive me for my sins along
- 4:05Speaker 1: the way, continue to hold and rock me when I
- 4:08Speaker 1: need it. When I make it, I promise you Lord,
- 4:12Speaker 1: when I get there, I will tell everybody how I
- 4:15Speaker 1: made it. Well. This started back in LA when I
- 4:21Speaker 1: got on the radio and I was making it okay.
- 4:25Speaker 1: I was doing okay, but I had to keep my
- 4:28Speaker 1: promise to God. My promise was, if you allow me
- 4:31Speaker 1: to make it, I'll tell everybody how God there. I
- 4:36Speaker 1: have to tell you that every day because if it
- 4:40Speaker 1: was not for that grace and mercy, I wouldn't even
- 4:43Speaker 1: be here able to fulfill my promise. Because I've done
- 4:47Speaker 1: enough dirt in my life. Man to not be worthy.
- 4:51Speaker 1: He could have easily walked away from me a long
- 4:53Speaker 1: time ago because I had show walked away from him. See,
- 4:58Speaker 1: and I didn't walk away from from him once. I
- 5:01Speaker 1: walked away from him a bunch of times. But guess
- 5:04Speaker 1: what He forgave me a bunch of times. I'm a
- 5:08Speaker 1: living example of hundreds of chances. His forgiveness and his
- 5:15Speaker 1: mercy is available for everybody. It's the only reason I
- 5:20Speaker 1: get on this show every days. The only reason I
- 5:22Speaker 1: have the blessings that's coming my way. It's the only
- 5:25Speaker 1: way that the things that keep happening in my life, man,
- 5:28Speaker 1: that I have no explanation for, it is because of
- 5:33Speaker 1: His grace and mercy. See, anytime something good happens in
- 5:37Speaker 1: my life and I can't explain it, that's usually him,
- 5:41Speaker 1: he exhibits to me. Remember, I'm a forgiving god. Man. Remember,
- 5:47Speaker 1: So when you fall, Steve, don't lay down now, don't
- 5:50Speaker 1: you lay down there. Don't you let the devil fool
- 5:52Speaker 1: you that because you'd have made some mistakes that you
- 5:55Speaker 1: ain't that you can't do it because everybody gonna make them.
- 5:59Speaker 1: There's no unperfect, no, not once. So get up, keep moving,
- 6:03Speaker 1: keep pushing, step on what you're laying there for. Your
- 6:09Speaker 1: daddy didn't raise you that way. Look, man, my father
- 6:12Speaker 1: was just about manhood. I'm gonna just tell you. My
- 6:14Speaker 1: daddy never had a conversation with me about church. He
- 6:18Speaker 1: beat me for not going, but you know a couple
- 6:21Speaker 1: of times, but he wasn't about that wasn't his message.
- 6:24Speaker 1: That was my mama's job. My mama taught me about
- 6:27Speaker 1: being saved, about loving the Lord, about giving your life,
- 6:30Speaker 1: about the teachings of Jesus Christ. My mama was a
- 6:33Speaker 1: Sunday school teacher, so I got all of that from her.
- 6:36Speaker 1: My old man ain't had none of that for me.
- 6:38Speaker 1: My old man talked to me about one thing all
- 6:41Speaker 1: day long, hard working manhood. And when you're gonna get
- 6:44Speaker 1: that if you don't get anyhing else from me, he
- 6:46Speaker 1: gave that to me, so I got it. See, so,
- 6:49Speaker 1: my father, you say, excuse my language, but you ain't
- 6:52Speaker 1: gonna sit there like a little punk up in here.
- 6:54Speaker 1: You ain't an what you're finn to do. You fin
- 6:56Speaker 1: to get up and go do what you're posted to do. Now,
- 6:58Speaker 1: stop all that wine and like some little punking gonna
- 7:00Speaker 1: get the movie. That's how my father talked to me.
- 7:02Speaker 1: And now I'm just telling you real. It worked for me, though,
- 7:05Speaker 1: And before you start emailing me, they had nothing to
- 7:08Speaker 1: do with homosexuality at all. It's just that was his
- 7:12Speaker 1: term for a man not acting like a man. That's
- 7:15Speaker 1: all it was. It had. It was not a gay
- 7:17Speaker 1: reference at all. I want you to understand that before
- 7:19Speaker 1: you start emailing me. So my daddy wasn't calling that
- 7:22Speaker 1: was not a sexual reference for him. My father talked
- 7:25Speaker 1: to us that's what he meant. I knew exactly what
- 7:27Speaker 1: it meant. He couldn't admit that he didn't even know
- 7:29Speaker 1: nothing about that. My man clueless when it comes to that,
- 7:31Speaker 1: right there. So when I was getting down and feeling
- 7:36Speaker 1: bad about myself, my old man, he taught me this toughness. Man,
- 7:39Speaker 1: he gave me this grit, this doggedness, this go to
- 7:43Speaker 1: work and work hard. That's why today, when God does
- 7:46Speaker 1: bless me with something, he ain't got to weary about
- 7:49Speaker 1: me not working hard because that's in me. And when
- 7:54Speaker 1: I get tired, I asked that same God for strength
- 7:57Speaker 1: to keep on doing so I can do the blessings
- 8:00Speaker 1: he got for me. So when you ask me how
- 8:03Speaker 1: you gonna do all this, Steve Harvey, I don't know.
- 8:06Speaker 1: I ain't got to figure that out. All I got
- 8:09Speaker 1: to do is show up with the same amount of
- 8:11Speaker 1: faith for being showing up with God handle the rest
- 8:13Speaker 1: of it. See y'all, Hey man, let me tell yourself.
- 8:16Speaker 1: I don't see how you do it. I don't either,
- 8:19Speaker 1: can I can? I get hey man, news flash, Let
- 8:22Speaker 1: me hear. I don't see how you doing all that, Steve.
- 8:24Speaker 1: You're doing this? You doing that? You can I tell
- 8:27Speaker 1: you something. I don't either. I just wake up with
- 8:29Speaker 1: the faith man and trusting that if He gonna bless
- 8:32Speaker 1: me with it, he must be gonna show me a
- 8:34Speaker 1: way how to get it done. See I ain't tripping
- 8:36Speaker 1: on that part. See I. Once you take yourself out
- 8:40Speaker 1: to how to business, you can go on and get
- 8:42Speaker 1: with it. But see if you're gonna trip yourself out
- 8:45Speaker 1: with the how to, you can't think like God can think.
- 8:48Speaker 1: You can't figure like God can figure. So now you're
- 8:50Speaker 1: sitting up in here gonna Lord, I want this to
- 8:52Speaker 1: have him for me? Then I don't know how I'm
- 8:55Speaker 1: or do all that. Well, guess what? You in the way? Now,
- 8:58Speaker 1: see you? Now you in the way because see God
- 9:01Speaker 1: ain't ask you to figure out how to? He said,
- 9:04Speaker 1: ask and believe. Then he said faith without works is dead.
- 9:10Speaker 1: That's my solution. That's the concoction that I'm functioning on.
- 9:14Speaker 1: All I got to do is accept the blessing, keep
- 9:18Speaker 1: the faith, be willing to work and believe God can
- 9:22Speaker 1: do anything but fail. Why would God bring me this
- 9:26Speaker 1: far to leave me? Why would he bring you this
- 9:31Speaker 1: far to leave you? So why I get up every morning?
- 9:36Speaker 1: I have no choice? I got to get up in
- 9:40Speaker 1: here the red. When I'm running late, man, I try
- 9:42Speaker 1: to ply through here. Sometimes I don't make it, Man,
- 9:44Speaker 1: I gotta do a rerun. But I ply through here
- 9:46Speaker 1: because man, Steve, you're gonna run out of something to say. No,
- 9:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna just keep thanking him now. You can't run
- 9:51Speaker 1: out of that, can you, because you owe him that.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Matter of fact? When I get through talking, I really
- 9:56Speaker 1: ain't thanked him enough. Show ladies and gentlemen, you know what.
- 10:07Speaker 1: It's a new day, blessed, highly favorite all that. Man,
- 10:11Speaker 1: you need it, Come on with it now. It's a
- 10:13Speaker 1: good day. Listen. I know sometimes people say they wake
- 10:16Speaker 1: up on the wrong side of the bed, but the
- 10:19Speaker 1: blessing is you got up now, whatever side you got
- 10:22Speaker 1: up on, y'all to thank you for it, because there's
- 10:25Speaker 1: some people that didn't get up today. I wasn't one
- 10:28Speaker 1: of them, and you wasn't one of them. So let's
- 10:29Speaker 1: be grateful for that. All right, Let's go Steve Harpan
- 10:32Speaker 1: Martin Show with Shirley Strawberry calling for real Mouth to
- 10:35Speaker 1: the South and Junior. Ain't nobody left the safeer than me? Junior,
- 10:39Speaker 1: what's on your mind today? Man, let's talk about it up.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Getting in position? Man? You know you I look at
- 10:46Speaker 1: your career and I look at it. How many times
- 10:48Speaker 1: you've been in position to elevate your whole entire career? What? What? Where?
- 10:53Speaker 1: Did you get the thought process to do that? Because
- 10:55Speaker 1: you had a goal in mind? You sip it? Goal?
- 10:58Speaker 1: You mean, or how did I get the thought process
- 11:00Speaker 1: to get into position? Yes? Well, see, I gotta be
- 11:06Speaker 1: honest with you. All the positions I found myself in
- 11:10Speaker 1: was not a part of the plan. It wasn't planned.
- 11:15Speaker 1: You know. It amazes me when people say I had
- 11:18Speaker 1: it all mapped out? Really did you? Did you? Did
- 11:22Speaker 1: you map out all of the failures? Did you map
- 11:24Speaker 1: out all of the missteps? Did you map out all
- 11:27Speaker 1: the bad decisions? Did you map out all of the
- 11:31Speaker 1: people who came along you thought was cool turned out
- 11:33Speaker 1: not to be cool? Did you map out all that?
- 11:36Speaker 1: And the answer is no. So your best plans are
- 11:42Speaker 1: gonna be froth with bad decisions, wrong decisions, missteps, trials, tribulations, hardships, heartbreak.
- 11:54Speaker 1: So it's not mapping it out. What happens is you
- 11:59Speaker 1: find your self in position when you are continually putting
- 12:05Speaker 1: in the work, You have got to be tireless with
- 12:09Speaker 1: your work ethic because people all people have said to me, man,
- 12:14Speaker 1: you just lucky. Man, seem like you always be in
- 12:17Speaker 1: the right place at the right time. I've actually heard
- 12:19Speaker 1: people say that, man, you lucky. Man, you get all
- 12:22Speaker 1: these shows. Why don't you say something for somebody else?
- 12:24Speaker 1: Hold on, man, do you know what luck is? Luck
- 12:28Speaker 1: is when hard work bumps up into opportunity. But you
- 12:34Speaker 1: can't be in the right place at the right time.
- 12:38Speaker 1: You can't be in position if you're not working here
- 12:44Speaker 1: it is. Oh, you've heard old people say, just like
- 12:48Speaker 1: a ship passing in the night. On your journey out
- 12:52Speaker 1: on this water, there will be several keyships that will
- 12:56Speaker 1: be passing, and you can wave at the cap. You know,
- 13:00Speaker 1: you can get on board, or you can join forces.
- 13:04Speaker 1: But if you ain't out there rowing your boat, if
- 13:09Speaker 1: you ain't out there in the water, there's no chance
- 13:15Speaker 1: of this ship passing you. So you know, man, you
- 13:19Speaker 1: ain't gonna be in the right place at the right
- 13:21Speaker 1: time if you're not out there working. You've got to
- 13:24Speaker 1: get yourself in position by working, because you don't know
- 13:27Speaker 1: what the position actually is going to be. You just don't, man,
- 13:30Speaker 1: I hope that sounds like it makes sense to you.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Thank you? All right, all right, coming up with thirty
- 13:38Speaker 1: two minutes after the hour, Junior is in for the
- 13:41Speaker 1: nephew to run that prank back right after this you're
- 13:44Speaker 1: listening to show it is time now to run that
- 13:50Speaker 1: prank back with Junior in for the nephew, which you
- 13:52Speaker 1: got Junior, Well, it is morning, sirlettan iphe you left
- 13:55Speaker 1: us with this my dad's boat. Find out what this
- 13:59Speaker 1: is about my daddy's boat. Come on, kay, hello, hello,
- 14:04Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a mister Wilson place. Mister Wilson,
- 14:08Speaker 1: how are you today? Who is it? My name is Williams. Well, listen,
- 14:15Speaker 1: we've been getting a few complaints, sir about some things
- 14:19Speaker 1: on your property there. All right, Well, who are you with? Uh?
- 14:23Speaker 1: Actually I'm with the homeowners Association. Wanted to reach out
- 14:26Speaker 1: and give you a call to day. Oh well, how
- 14:28Speaker 1: are you doing? Pretty good? Listen, Um, got a few
- 14:31Speaker 1: things I kind of want to discuss with you here
- 14:33Speaker 1: that seemed to be a problem that's taken place in
- 14:37Speaker 1: the neighborhood there. Um, it's been brought to our attention
- 14:40Speaker 1: down here at headquarters that you have a few things
- 14:43Speaker 1: on your property that are are not functioning that really
- 14:47Speaker 1: shouldn't be on the property. Uh. You have two cars
- 14:50Speaker 1: supposedly in your driveway that are not being used, been
- 14:52Speaker 1: sitting there for quite some time. Yeah. Well, one of
- 14:55Speaker 1: them I'm currently working on. I'm almost I should have
- 14:58Speaker 1: it repaired. I'm just waiting on get wait wait and
- 15:00Speaker 1: get a little extra money to get to take care
- 15:02Speaker 1: of the other car is just function it. I just
- 15:03Speaker 1: don't drive, and I have more than one car. Okay.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Now you you also have a camper that seems to
- 15:12Speaker 1: be has been there for at least eight months now,
- 15:15Speaker 1: that's that's sitting there. Is that correct as well? Yeah? Yeah,
- 15:18Speaker 1: I'm I'm working on getting some storage for that, but
- 15:22Speaker 1: it ain't really been there eight months, just maybe around
- 15:24Speaker 1: about six seven eight months. And uh, you know, I'm
- 15:28Speaker 1: looking at our past records and stuff. It seems like
- 15:31Speaker 1: there was a complaint before about the you know, keeping
- 15:36Speaker 1: the yard, uh, pretty cutting all of that kind of stuff.
- 15:39Speaker 1: And I'm just looking at past complaints that I have here.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Now the biggest one that I have that that's concerning
- 15:44Speaker 1: your property, sir, is uh, supposedly in your backyard. Now
- 15:50Speaker 1: there's a you have an old boat that's in your backyard. Yeah, yeah,
- 15:55Speaker 1: but I don't see that both bathers or nobody. I mean,
- 15:59Speaker 1: it's it's it's kind of sare eye for the people.
- 16:01Speaker 1: I think. I think you guys backyards actually bump up
- 16:04Speaker 1: against each other, and you guys have a chain link
- 16:07Speaker 1: fence between the two of you all, and I think
- 16:09Speaker 1: the boat is must be just a sore eye for
- 16:11Speaker 1: the family that's behind you. All. Well, you know, I
- 16:14Speaker 1: don't see myself getting rid of that boat. So I
- 16:18Speaker 1: got a cover on it. Everybody else got a boat.
- 16:20Speaker 1: I don't see. What's the problem is. Well, okay, here's
- 16:23Speaker 1: here's what's actually happening, mister Wilson. What's gonna take place
- 16:27Speaker 1: is this. Now, we're gonna give you a fourteen day extension,
- 16:32Speaker 1: fourteen days actually to move the car that is not functioning,
- 16:37Speaker 1: the camper as well, and definitely the boat. We need.
- 16:40Speaker 1: We're gonna need those three items. We'll get search search.
- 16:43Speaker 1: I ain't got no we moved boat. I just told
- 16:46Speaker 1: you I was working on so well for storage. Do
- 16:48Speaker 1: you hear my storage called? Now the boat? Now the cab,
- 16:51Speaker 1: I'll get that, take care. But the boat, the boat
- 16:53Speaker 1: the boat my daddy gave me, and my daddy gave
- 16:55Speaker 1: me that that that's the only thing my daddy gave
- 16:57Speaker 1: me before he died. Now, now I'm not moving that
- 17:00Speaker 1: boat nowhere. The boat won't just fun. If I take
- 17:02Speaker 1: you down into the water, it works, sir, And I
- 17:05Speaker 1: understand it wholeheartedly. You know, I'm basically I'm just a
- 17:09Speaker 1: messenger I have. I'm gonna have to get the non
- 17:12Speaker 1: functioning car that's not working properly. I'm gonna have to
- 17:15Speaker 1: get that out within the two week notice, as well
- 17:17Speaker 1: as the camper, and definitely the boat. Now, I gotta
- 17:20Speaker 1: get that out. That's gotta be gone. I'll tell you
- 17:23Speaker 1: what I ain't moving. I'll tell you that plan. What
- 17:26Speaker 1: you're gonna do, sir. You gotta either move the boat.
- 17:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna have somebody come over and haul all of
- 17:31Speaker 1: these things away. Well, i'll tell you what. I got
- 17:34Speaker 1: thirteen reasons why you won't go over and touch that boat.
- 17:37Speaker 1: And I got two moon or two to thirteen twenty six.
- 17:41Speaker 1: I got thirteen and then I got another twenty six
- 17:44Speaker 1: added on to that why you won't bring now want
- 17:47Speaker 1: me to touch my daddy boat because my daddy gave
- 17:49Speaker 1: me that bowl. I'll be dad any of you. You
- 17:51Speaker 1: know I'm tired of you with me. It's that Cross
- 17:54Speaker 1: Street report because I'm not at liberty to give you
- 17:58Speaker 1: the name who's reported my phone, so you haven't live
- 18:01Speaker 1: to give me something because I know you know eight
- 18:05Speaker 1: months and it ain't. Nobody said, ain't to it to
- 18:08Speaker 1: way to hell. Y'all me about how to vote in
- 18:10Speaker 1: the backyard of my static gave me, sir. The language
- 18:12Speaker 1: is not necessary. The bottom line is I want to
- 18:17Speaker 1: camper out. I want to vote out, and I want
- 18:20Speaker 1: the car that's not functioning moved with them two weeks
- 18:23Speaker 1: or I'm towing it out. I tell you, when I
- 18:25Speaker 1: give you a personal invitation to come over him, put
- 18:28Speaker 1: the boat, the campus and the car, and I will
- 18:33Speaker 1: beat you like that's what beat you, sir. H Wow,
- 18:38Speaker 1: I'm gonna allow one car to stay. I just want
- 18:40Speaker 1: to make sure that you know that I've given you
- 18:42Speaker 1: the statement over the phone, letting you know that what
- 18:44Speaker 1: what has taken place here is will take it. But
- 18:48Speaker 1: I ain't move my daddy boat. You're gonna move your
- 18:51Speaker 1: dad's stinking boat if I don't bring the loan, but
- 18:57Speaker 1: you bring somebody, Sir, trust me, Trust me. If we
- 19:00Speaker 1: come there, we're definitely gonna be bringing authorities with us.
- 19:03Speaker 1: My mind would go to jail because I love my daddy.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Ain't now I want you. I'm gonna touch my daddy's boath.

- 21:22Speaker 1: is time for ask the clo, all right. Beginning with
- 21:26Speaker 1: Sasha and Baton Rouge. Sasha says, I'm in a relationship
- 21:30Speaker 1: with an older man in age but not in maturity.
- 21:34Speaker 1: He's so self centered and if we don't do what
- 21:36Speaker 1: he wants to do, he starts to pout. He calls
- 21:39Speaker 1: his mama and his sister and I can't win. When
- 21:42Speaker 1: they team up on me if I marry this old baby, well,
- 21:46Speaker 1: my life continued to be this complicated? Should I run? Yeah? Yeah,
- 21:53Speaker 1: that's as your feet will take you. Have you heard
- 21:55Speaker 1: of saying that ain't no fool? Like old fool? He
- 21:59Speaker 1: called his mama. That's why he's single and available now
- 22:03Speaker 1: because he ain't been that good a catch to nobody.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Now you didn't call him, and you think you've got
- 22:09Speaker 1: something you know? Can I give you a suggestion, lady,
- 22:12Speaker 1: when you make a bad catch, drop the ball back. No,
- 22:18Speaker 1: don't throw it back, drop the ball, just drop it. Okay, yeah,
- 22:22Speaker 1: just drop it, walk off. Leave. It's happened to him before.
- 22:29Speaker 1: He's very familiar with it. It ain't gonna hurt him
- 22:33Speaker 1: with nothing. Huh, this has happened before. Just go ahead,
- 22:37Speaker 1: don't even weary about it, all right, Sasha, leave it
- 22:41Speaker 1: all right, man, Deesa and Phoenix says, my thirty year
- 22:43Speaker 1: old sister has asked a borrow my spare car, and
- 22:46Speaker 1: my husband says I can't let her use it because
- 22:49Speaker 1: he bought it and he doesn't like my sister. The
- 22:51Speaker 1: car is just sitting in our driveway, so I don't
- 22:54Speaker 1: see the harm in it, But there's no reasoning with him.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Would it be wrong to go against my husband's wishes?
- 23:02Speaker 1: He bought it, Yeah, he bought it, and he doesn't
- 23:06Speaker 1: like the sister. Well, look like your sister gonna be
- 23:10Speaker 1: over That's what it looked like. Uh, he bought the
- 23:15Speaker 1: car and he don't like your sister. How old is
- 23:21Speaker 1: your sister? Why she she's thirty? Stick as she born?
- 23:27Speaker 1: Car fell on the luck, maybe fell on her luck. Well,
- 23:35Speaker 1: fall on the man and get lucky, you know, But
- 23:42Speaker 1: you over here the barn. See, here's what the deal is.
- 23:46Speaker 1: People always look around in somebody else's life and expect them.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Because this man had worked hard and got another car,
- 23:54Speaker 1: and the car ain't just sitting there because you drive
- 23:57Speaker 1: in your husband drive and I'm really sure somebody go
- 24:02Speaker 1: to work at a different time, so it ain't just
- 24:05Speaker 1: sitting there. I think she over exaggerated that who you
- 24:10Speaker 1: know got two cars and the other car just sit there?
- 24:14Speaker 1: Who who you know? Got that life? You don't? Do?
- 24:23Speaker 1: You do you think that's so unusual just to have
- 24:26Speaker 1: an ex car sitting in the driveway? And that's what
- 24:32Speaker 1: a couple with any extra car that neither one of
- 24:36Speaker 1: them drive. What m hm, Well, anyway. The point is mr, Okay,
- 24:47Speaker 1: The point is she's not gonna do it. The wife
- 24:50Speaker 1: wants to know should she go against her husband's wishes.
- 24:52Speaker 1: I'd never loaned a car, m You've never letting someone
- 24:58Speaker 1: borrow your car? No? Not not now? Well come on, yeah,
- 25:04Speaker 1: when I had a seventy two. Yeah, you want to
- 25:06Speaker 1: drive this hill? But now when you warn you you
- 25:09Speaker 1: gotta keep your foot on the gas at the light
- 25:13Speaker 1: or else it's gonna cut off. And then you have
- 25:15Speaker 1: to wait twenty minutes. You know, you have to throw
- 25:19Speaker 1: it in new trul keep your foot on the gas
- 25:21Speaker 1: because you don't keep that idol rammed up and at
- 25:24Speaker 1: least uh fifty RPMs it's gonna cut off. And then
- 25:28Speaker 1: you got to wait fifteen minutes. And I never found
- 25:32Speaker 1: out why you had to wait. But it's fifteen minutes.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Why can't he let because he don't like her? Yeah,
- 25:41Speaker 1: that's it. He doesn't like her, and maybe she's irresponsible.
- 25:45Speaker 1: Maybe that's why she doesn't have a car at thirty
- 25:48Speaker 1: exactly why And he doesn't want her to you know,
- 25:51Speaker 1: maybe we're looking over him. Yeah, yeah, yeah it is. Well,
- 25:58Speaker 1: if you go against your husband, you're gonna have a problem.
- 26:01Speaker 1: The best wish, the best thing you could do is
- 26:03Speaker 1: try to talk to your husband or try to help
- 26:06Speaker 1: her get a call. Yeah, you and your husband need
- 26:09Speaker 1: to be on the same page. I let her drive
- 26:12Speaker 1: it anyway. You shut up. Here we go, all right, Taysha.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Moving on to Tysha in Greensborough. Tysha says, my boyfriend
- 26:22Speaker 1: called me by mistake, and I heard him talking to
- 26:26Speaker 1: another woman. He was in a restaurant or a bar
- 26:28Speaker 1: and it was loud. After that, his phone was off.
- 26:32Speaker 1: He said. He butt dialed me when he was picking
- 26:34Speaker 1: up his dinner, and he ate and then fell asleep
- 26:37Speaker 1: without charging his phone. Why lie? Why do men lie? Why? Aisha?
- 26:45Speaker 1: What do you want him to do? He called somebody
- 26:50Speaker 1: else by accident, thought it was you, But when the
- 26:56Speaker 1: actuality he butt died when he that phone up, the
- 27:03Speaker 1: good wrenching scream that was in that car, when he
- 27:08Speaker 1: pressed that phone on and saw your name, he hit
- 27:12Speaker 1: it off, cut that phone off, eight went to sleep
- 27:17Speaker 1: and his phone died. That's what we have to tell you.
- 27:22Speaker 1: He can't tell you the truth. What was the truth exactly?
- 27:27Speaker 1: The truth of the matter is he swam by the girl,
- 27:33Speaker 1: got in the car. They was talking. Yeah, he looked
- 27:38Speaker 1: down at his phone and realized it had been opened
- 27:42Speaker 1: for the past eleven minutes. Yeah, but it was in
- 27:46Speaker 1: a restaurant, she said, a bar or a restaurant. He
- 27:51Speaker 1: was in that eating with the girl. Exactly not what
- 27:55Speaker 1: you want him to say. I was eating with a girl.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Ain't nobody stupid? Though he ain't stupid. Ain't stupid, but
- 28:03Speaker 1: he ain't either though, yes he is the black was
- 28:10Speaker 1: he supposed to say the truth? So she just wants
- 28:15Speaker 1: to know why, man, lie, Why would he tell the
- 28:20Speaker 1: truth in? Just give us that. I want to know why?
- 28:26Speaker 1: All right, let's try to get to the last No, no, no, no, no,
- 28:30Speaker 1: let's stay with this. If he tells y'all the truth
- 28:35Speaker 1: that he was eating dinner with the restaurant with a girl,
- 28:38Speaker 1: what would y'all do? Ask him why? And then you know,
- 28:42Speaker 1: get to the bottom of No, no, what would y'all do? Yeah,
- 28:47Speaker 1: we'd give him the third degrade, try to kill him, snap,
- 28:51Speaker 1: making a tempt on his life, and break up. We
- 28:55Speaker 1: ain't gonna go through all that. We gotta go to cheating. Okay,
- 29:02Speaker 1: all right, coming up at the top of the hour,
- 29:06Speaker 1: entertainment news for you, right, after this. You're listening to
- 29:09Speaker 1: this show. The Mattel Corporation, which is best known for
- 29:16Speaker 1: its Barbie dolls, is honoring Madam C. Jay Walker with
- 29:21Speaker 1: a Barbie doll in her likeness. Madame C. J. Walker,
- 29:24Speaker 1: of course, was the first document itself made female millionaire,
- 29:28Speaker 1: and she is best known for creating a successful line
- 29:31Speaker 1: of hair care products and cosmetics for black women. The
- 29:35Speaker 1: Madame C. J. Walker Barbie doll is part of Mattel's
- 29:38Speaker 1: Inspiring Women series, which includes other iconic black women in
- 29:43Speaker 1: history like Rosa Parks, like doctor Maya Angelou and Ella Fitzgerald.
- 29:48Speaker 1: So congratulations for that. That's wonderful that. So, yeah, our
- 29:53Speaker 1: young girl, we'll have something to look up to, some
- 29:57Speaker 1: history right there. You have to get that for your yeah, absolutely, yeah, yeah,
- 30:03Speaker 1: I would love to get dollars. That's nice. You ain't
- 30:07Speaker 1: played with that cabbage patch dolls since we got Now
- 30:14Speaker 1: we got to get another. Yeah, sister Early perkis major
- 30:18Speaker 1: at baby doll and it's still in the clock. Yeah
- 30:26Speaker 1: right here, all right, this is a crazy story right here.
- 30:31Speaker 1: This um about boxing legend George Foreman. George Foreman is
- 30:36Speaker 1: being sued by two women who claimed that he raped
- 30:38Speaker 1: them when they were just teenagers back in the nineteen seventies.
- 30:42Speaker 1: The two women in filed lawsuits. They filed him in
- 30:45Speaker 1: La Superior Court, and they are suing Foreman for twenty
- 30:48Speaker 1: five million dollars. George Foreman has denied the allocations, saying,
- 30:54Speaker 1: over the past six months, two women have been trying
- 30:57Speaker 1: to extort millions of dollars each from me and my family.
- 31:01Speaker 1: They falsely claimed that I sexually abused them over forty
- 31:04Speaker 1: five years ago in the nineteen seventies. I adamantly and
- 31:08Speaker 1: categorically deny these allegations and will work with my lawyers
- 31:12Speaker 1: to expose my future schemes and defend myself. I don't
- 31:17Speaker 1: pick fights, but I don't run away from them either.
- 31:20Speaker 1: That's what George Foreman said. So now let me ask
- 31:23Speaker 1: you this, because political correctness says you have to go,
- 31:27Speaker 1: oh my god, they're victims. But let me ask you
- 31:30Speaker 1: a question. Suppose I'm just is just hypothetical. I'm asking
- 31:34Speaker 1: this of the ladies. Suppose these women have gotten together
- 31:39Speaker 1: and concocted this story to try to get some money,
- 31:44Speaker 1: an easy way to get some money. What happens to them, Well,
- 31:51Speaker 1: I mean they found innocent, and there's no way to
- 31:55Speaker 1: charge him or verify anything, you know, just because you
- 31:58Speaker 1: say he did it. What happened? Yeah, well, well usually
- 32:01Speaker 1: what happens to them is it goes away and it's
- 32:04Speaker 1: never heard from, you know before. And because George is famous,
- 32:08Speaker 1: you know, people will always associate this story with him
- 32:11Speaker 1: and nothing happens to the accusers. That's usually how it goes,
- 32:15Speaker 1: and you know that, and that's my problem, Yeah, because
- 32:20Speaker 1: if these allegations are false, it's extortion. That's what he thinks.
- 32:26Speaker 1: That's what you're saying. You don't get There are no
- 32:30Speaker 1: charges for falsely accusing. But if you're trying to extort someone,
- 32:35Speaker 1: or if you're accused or if you're you're found guilty
- 32:38Speaker 1: of extortion, I'm sure there's a charge for that. But
- 32:42Speaker 1: usually how it goes Steve is what I said. The
- 32:45Speaker 1: accusers go away. If it's false, they go away. But
- 32:49Speaker 1: George Foreman is you know that story is always going
- 32:52Speaker 1: to be associated because he's famous. Yeah, I think what
- 32:58Speaker 1: happens there are people in this world who are looking
- 33:02Speaker 1: for get rich quick schemes, ways to make money, and
- 33:06Speaker 1: I think there are people who will take advantage of
- 33:08Speaker 1: the me too movement. I think there are people who
- 33:11Speaker 1: will take advantage of these stories going around. What people
- 33:16Speaker 1: are getting checks, you know, off of sexual accusations and stuff,
- 33:22Speaker 1: and you never know, you never know. I just find
- 33:26Speaker 1: it curious that later these two girls come together and
- 33:32Speaker 1: it's George Foreman when you've actually heard nothing. He don't
- 33:36Speaker 1: even have a reputation or be old you know anybody.
- 33:39Speaker 1: I don't womanize her, you know. Yeah, Well, we'll see
- 33:43Speaker 1: what happens. But like he says, he's going to work
- 33:45Speaker 1: with his lawyers to expose his accuser schemes to defend himself.
- 33:49Speaker 1: He said he doesn't pick fights, but he won't run
- 33:51Speaker 1: away from them either. So and on the other hand,
- 33:54Speaker 1: the law does say that people have a right to
- 33:59Speaker 1: sue from childhood sexual assaults if this didn't happen from
- 34:03Speaker 1: the victim's perspective. So yeah, we'll have to wait and see. See. Yeah,
- 34:07Speaker 1: we'll have to wait and see for sure, all right,
- 34:12Speaker 1: And moving on to this last one. The winner of
- 34:15Speaker 1: last months one point thirty four billion dollars billion megamillions,
- 34:20Speaker 1: Jackpott still has not claimed this money. This is a
- 34:24Speaker 1: lot of money just to leave sitting the winning Yeah,
- 34:27Speaker 1: the winning ticket was sold and displays. Illinois Lottery winners
- 34:31Speaker 1: that win over two hundred and fifty thousand have the
- 34:34Speaker 1: option to remain anonymous, but the Illinois Lottery director stated
- 34:38Speaker 1: that it's not unusual for winners to take a while
- 34:41Speaker 1: to claim and amount this large. They have a full
- 34:44Speaker 1: year to claim the money. They have a whole year
- 34:47Speaker 1: to claim this money, and the winner, of course, will
- 34:50Speaker 1: get an option. They'll get an option of one hundred
- 34:52Speaker 1: point thirty four million over twenty nine years, or they'll
- 34:55Speaker 1: get a lump sum of seven hundred eighty million dollars
- 34:58Speaker 1: in cash. What Yeah, wow? Yeah, which one? What? Steve?
- 35:03Speaker 1: Which one? Come on, we'll say it. I'm yeah. It's
- 35:08Speaker 1: one hundred and thirty four million a year? Is nice?
- 35:12Speaker 1: Uh huh? That lump though? Yeah, one point thirty four
- 35:17Speaker 1: billion twenty nine years. Yeah, you're gonna act the fool.
- 35:23Speaker 1: You're gonna be Oh cool. I already feel different just
- 35:26Speaker 1: by saying it. I'm just excuse me, stop. A lot
- 35:32Speaker 1: of people say that to me. What I'm talking? Excuse
- 35:34Speaker 1: excuse me? Wait a minute? What did he say? I know? Ye? No,
- 35:46Speaker 1: coming up in twenty minutes after What it's like to
- 35:48Speaker 1: be a celebrity every day of your life. We'll talk
- 35:51Speaker 1: about it right after this. You're listening show well. Social
- 35:57Speaker 1: media trolls are slamming Calliglie jen for allegedly having a
- 36:01Speaker 1: bad attitude after a video went viral of Kylie looking
- 36:06Speaker 1: less than thrilled to take a picture with a journalist.
- 36:09Speaker 1: This happened at the launch of Kylie's Lip Kids collection
- 36:12Speaker 1: in Los Angeles last week. The comments mostly stated that
- 36:15Speaker 1: Kylie didn't make eye contact and barely acknowledge the journalist's existence.
- 36:21Speaker 1: And as a worldwide superstar, Steve, we got to ask
- 36:23Speaker 1: you this, how do you handle always being on as
- 36:27Speaker 1: a star and not offending your very loyal fans? And
- 36:30Speaker 1: is it possible to please everyone so that no one's
- 36:33Speaker 1: feelings hurt. Everybody's not a very loyal fan. That's for starters,
- 36:38Speaker 1: and you don't know who they are. And even though
- 36:41Speaker 1: you try to keep up the facade that hey, I'm
- 36:44Speaker 1: happy to be here, it's people get on your nerves, man,
- 36:48Speaker 1: It's people do stuff to get on your last damn nerves.
- 36:52Speaker 1: I used to bother you, Steve, Steve, Steve, Stave. You
- 36:58Speaker 1: you see me ignoring your aunt, But you think if
- 37:02Speaker 1: you just keep on calling me as man. I heard you.
- 37:06Speaker 1: I know my name. Don't you stop calling me man?
- 37:10Speaker 1: You're aggravating me. And they continue to aggravate you. Now
- 37:14Speaker 1: put ten people in a row like that, and you
- 37:16Speaker 1: here come to journalists to take Collie Jenner's picture. No,
- 37:21Speaker 1: she don't look through you. And people don't know what
- 37:22Speaker 1: the journalist has said or done, how he approached her.
- 37:27Speaker 1: And people jump on the celeb. But you know, people
- 37:31Speaker 1: jump on you and want you to be happy dappy
- 37:34Speaker 1: all day long. And you're human and you're not that,
- 37:38Speaker 1: and you have feelings, man, and you get tired and
- 37:42Speaker 1: enough is enough. And when you're that big of a star,
- 37:46Speaker 1: the enough is enough. Don't work until you go home.
- 37:50Speaker 1: And Marjorie has told me many times, Steve, when you
- 37:53Speaker 1: don't feel like this, let's just go home. You're listening,
- 38:00Speaker 1: all right. So, ladies and gentlemen, we have a special
- 38:03Speaker 1: guest family member. She is here, the one and only
- 38:06Speaker 1: Sister Odell. Lord, my lord, yay, good morning's eyone, good morning,

- 39:45Speaker 1: you know, cister Odella, I know you wear a lot
- 39:48Speaker 1: of white, but there is a rule that after Labor
- 39:50Speaker 1: Day you don't wear white. Not if you was on
- 39:53Speaker 1: the missionary committee. I think it applies across the board
- 39:58Speaker 1: Cist missionaries. Whe right, shit, I know. But after later
- 40:06Speaker 1: we pray, you're pure? Are you trying to say pure?
- 40:09Speaker 1: That's what I said. We prayed and we're not seeing
- 40:12Speaker 1: the white nothing else. I've been wearing white, folks, girl,
- 40:16Speaker 1: going on seventy six years. Now, wow, that's a long
- 40:19Speaker 1: time since white all the time. I'm I'm the old
- 40:23Speaker 1: as Lisa, right, okay, but but I'm just letting you
- 40:32Speaker 1: know the fashion rules. You know, they state that, you know,
- 40:36Speaker 1: no white before memorials don't apply to church folks. Church
- 40:41Speaker 1: folks don't had them money to bath and ruth. You
- 40:44Speaker 1: ever seen a boy come into Thanksgiving with a white

- 47:10Speaker 1: up to seventy five eighty percent healthy again, you know
- 47:13Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So you know, it's just a rare
- 47:18Speaker 1: type of thing that I need to try and get
- 47:20Speaker 1: and I think that you might be I think you
- 47:24Speaker 1: can't help me. We will be strong, man, be strong,
- 47:27Speaker 1: just man, see down man, be strong, Bright it's gonna
- 47:31Speaker 1: be all right. But I think it's gonna be all right.
- 47:33Speaker 1: God is with you. I pray for you. I do
- 47:36Speaker 1: all I can. You know, I don't know well actually actually,
- 47:40Speaker 1: uh the doctor told me, man that for six months,
- 47:45Speaker 1: if I drunk breast milk, it would it would it
- 47:49Speaker 1: would put enough calcium and stuff back into my bones
- 47:52Speaker 1: that would get me back up to seventy to eighty

- 52:43Speaker 1: just tell me the truth. Just tell me the truth.
- 52:45Speaker 1: Dear Stephen, Shirley, I've been dating a forty two year
- 52:48Speaker 1: old man for a while and his sister is one
- 52:51Speaker 1: of my old acquaintances from college. I don't use the
- 52:54Speaker 1: word friend to describe her because she's done a lot
- 52:57Speaker 1: of shady stuff lately. She introduced me to her brother,
- 53:01Speaker 1: and he initiated our relationship. At first, he was dating
- 53:05Speaker 1: someone else and his sister mate. Sure, I knew it.
- 53:08Speaker 1: She said she loves his ex girlfriend but didn't want
- 53:11Speaker 1: her dating her brother. I advised her to stay out
- 53:14Speaker 1: of her brother's affairs. I had to reiterate this to
- 53:17Speaker 1: her after her brother and I started dating. She used
- 53:20Speaker 1: to call me with all kinds of rumors and bs
- 53:23Speaker 1: about his ex girlfriend, and then would be all up
- 53:27Speaker 1: in her face on pictures and videos. I started calling
- 53:31Speaker 1: her a little liar, and her brother agreed with me.
- 53:35Speaker 1: A few nights ago, I ran into a little liar
- 53:37Speaker 1: at a hookah lounge and she was with my man's
- 53:40Speaker 1: ex girlfriend. I spoke and picked up my food. Then
- 53:44Speaker 1: I went over to my boyfriend's house. While we were eating,
- 53:48Speaker 1: a picture of his sister and his ex popped up
- 53:50Speaker 1: on his phone, and his sister tected, we miss you.
- 53:54Speaker 1: So I called his sister the next day and I
- 53:57Speaker 1: asked why she's taunting my boyfriends with thick pictures of
- 54:01Speaker 1: his ex. She said that my man would not. My
- 54:04Speaker 1: man not only responded with heart emojis, he came to
- 54:07Speaker 1: have a drink with them. After I left his house,
- 54:10Speaker 1: she sent me a picture of the three of them.
- 54:12Speaker 1: I called him and went off, and he said, it's
- 54:14Speaker 1: all a lie. And it didn't go down like that.
- 54:17Speaker 1: He told me he was going to watch a preseason
- 54:19Speaker 1: game at a sports bar, not to hang out with
- 54:22Speaker 1: his ex girlfriend. I wish he told me first, because
- 54:26Speaker 1: his sister is such a liar. She claimed she deleted
- 54:30Speaker 1: the texas that my man sent her before he came
- 54:32Speaker 1: to meet them at the lounge. What's going on here?
- 54:36Speaker 1: Can somebody just tell me the truth? Just tell me
- 54:40Speaker 1: the truth. Well, they both sound suspect to me. I'm
- 54:43Speaker 1: just gonna tell you. You said his sister is a
- 54:47Speaker 1: known liar, so much so that you gave her the
- 54:49Speaker 1: name Little Liar. Now, this story about your boyfriend's chance
- 54:53Speaker 1: meeting with his sister and her ex at the bar,
- 54:56Speaker 1: that sounds ridiculous to me. It sounds crazy. Yes, his
- 54:59Speaker 1: sister is really messy. She even hangs out with his ex,
- 55:04Speaker 1: which is definitely not a good look. But I believe
- 55:07Speaker 1: her on this one. I believe the sister. You have
- 55:10Speaker 1: proof with the pictures she sent you. It was of her,
- 55:13Speaker 1: her brother, and the ex. That's why I don't believe
- 55:16Speaker 1: the brother because what he told you sounds like a lie.
- 55:19Speaker 1: It sounds like a lie. He was just going to
- 55:22Speaker 1: watch a football game. At a sports bar. Did he
- 55:24Speaker 1: even mention to you, you know, mention that to you
- 55:28Speaker 1: while you guys were eating at his house or afterwards
- 55:31Speaker 1: you said No, this all happened after his messy butt
- 55:36Speaker 1: sister sent him the picture of her and the X
- 55:38Speaker 1: at the hookah lounge. Right, So what does your gut
- 55:41Speaker 1: tell you? Why did you write this letter? What is
- 55:44Speaker 1: your gut telling you? Your instincts? So this is all
- 55:47Speaker 1: I have to say to you. Please do not focus
- 55:49Speaker 1: so much on your dislike for his sister that it
- 55:52Speaker 1: clouds your judgment and you don't hold your man accountable
- 55:55Speaker 1: for his lies. That's all I gotta say. Steve, Wow,
- 56:03Speaker 1: there's a lot of holes in this letter, this story,
- 56:07Speaker 1: and everything. I think the woman who wrote this letter
- 56:11Speaker 1: should slap this woman. Let's just go to slap moments. Yeah,
- 56:17Speaker 1: I'm dating a forty two year old man and his
- 56:19Speaker 1: sister one of my older acquaints from college. I don't
- 56:22Speaker 1: use the word friend to describe her because she's done
- 56:25Speaker 1: a lot of shady stuff lately. Okay, let's go read her.
- 56:29Speaker 1: She introduced me to a brother, and she he initiated
- 56:31Speaker 1: our relationship. First, he was dating someone else and his
- 56:35Speaker 1: sister made sure I knew it. She said she loves
- 56:37Speaker 1: his girlfriend, but I didn't, but didn't want her dating
- 56:41Speaker 1: her brother. Okay, I advised her to stay out the
- 56:45Speaker 1: brothers affairs. I had to reiterate this to her after
- 56:47Speaker 1: her brother and I started dating. Now we already but okay,
- 56:57Speaker 1: ain't nothing wrong. But you know you anyway, you didn't
- 57:02Speaker 1: fail for the guy. Now y'all dating, and she's still
- 57:06Speaker 1: in it. Now, you just told her she used to
- 57:10Speaker 1: stay out of her brother's affairs with her ex. What
- 57:13Speaker 1: makes you think she gonna stay out of her brother's
- 57:17Speaker 1: affairs with his current Which is why? O you you?
- 57:24Speaker 1: She used to call me with all kinds of rumors
- 57:26Speaker 1: and beings Abouty's ex girlfriend and then would be all
- 57:29Speaker 1: up in her face home pictures and videos. I started
- 57:31Speaker 1: calling her a little liar, and she is, but she's
- 57:34Speaker 1: a big liar, and her brother agreed with me. A
- 57:37Speaker 1: few nights ago, I ran into a little liar at
- 57:39Speaker 1: a hookah lounge and she was with my man's ex girlfriend.
- 57:44Speaker 1: I spoke, picked up my food, went over to my
- 57:46Speaker 1: boyfriend's house. Y'all was eating. Picture of his sister and
- 57:50Speaker 1: his ex popped up on my phone. His sister text
- 57:54Speaker 1: we miss you. I called his sister next day and
- 58:00Speaker 1: asked why she's telling my boyfriend. She said that my
- 58:04Speaker 1: man not only responded with heart emojis, he came to
- 58:07Speaker 1: have a drink with them after I left his house.
- 58:11Speaker 1: Then she sent me a picture of the three of them.
- 58:14Speaker 1: God messy. But I called him and went off and
- 58:21Speaker 1: he said, it's all a lie, and it didn't go
- 58:23Speaker 1: down like that. Now my man is jumping through a
- 58:28Speaker 1: loophole that was presented by the letter writer he called.
- 58:33Speaker 1: She called her his little sister, a little liar. He agreed.
- 58:38Speaker 1: So now when she calls you and shows you the
- 58:42Speaker 1: picture them, he jumps back into the loophole that you created.
- 58:47Speaker 1: That's a lie. That ain't how that went down. That
- 58:51Speaker 1: was a beautiful moment for him. That when we come back,
- 58:54Speaker 1: I'll show you how. Hold on, hold on see well
- 59:00Speaker 1: have berth two of your response coming up at twenty
- 59:02Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour Strawberry Letters. Subject for today,
- 59:05Speaker 1: Just tell me the truth. We'll get back into it
- 59:07Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening show, from cringing at the
- 59:14Speaker 1: pump to getting an eyepop and check at your favorite restaurant.

- 59:45Speaker 1: promo code Harvey Radio. All right, come on, Steve, let's
- 59:49Speaker 1: recap today's strawberry letter and finish up your response too.
- 59:53Speaker 1: Just tell me the truth. Well, there's ladies dating this man,
- 59:57Speaker 1: and the man is the brother of one of her
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: old college mates that she shouldn't be calling a friend.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: And she said that because she's done a lot of
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: shady stuff. She introduced her college friend introduced her to
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: her brother. Her brother was dating somebody else at the time.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Her sister claimed the brothers her college roommate claimed that
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: she didn't like him, she didn't want him dating him,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: blah blah blah blah blah. Y'all started dating. So they
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: started dating. And now the little sister's telling her rumors
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: and stuff about the X. And then one day you
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: go to the hookah lounge and you see her and
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: your brother's ex at the hookah lounge. You spoke, got
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: your food, went out, she laid on you went over
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: to your boyfriend house. She sends to her boyfriend her brother,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: which is your boyfriend, a picture of her and the
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: ex at the house and say we miss you. You
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: leave the house. You call her the next day to
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: tell her not to do that to your brother. She says,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: wait a minute, I'll do you one better than this.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: She sent a picture of the three of them, her brother,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: her and his ex and said that he'd sent heart
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: emojis and came to have a drink. After I left
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: his house, she said, a picture of them three. I
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: called him went off. He said, it's all a lie
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: and it ain't go down like that. That was a
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: beautiful moment for him to jump into the loophole that
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: was created by your girlfriend who said your sister's a
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: little liar. He agreed. Now he didn't jumped into it.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: Beautiful moment. Let's take a moment to enjoy, man, John
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: take a moment. And he said it was a lie
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: and it didn't go down like that. Now here's a lie.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: He told me he was going to watch a preseason
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: game at a sports bar, not to hang out with
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: his girlfrid, right. I wish he told me be first,
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: because his sister is such a liar. No, no, no, Shirley,
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: he is the second loophole. Okay, she asked. The sister
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: showed me the text that he sent the heart emojis,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: and all is here. She claims she deleted the text
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: that my man said, why why you got to delete
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: your brother's text? Why do you have to delete your
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: brother's texts? Because he was probably saying something like, oh
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: the extra is fine, you girl, you know all of that.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: So she deleted that. Oh no, no, no, okay. So
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: the sister wanted her to see the pictures, but don't
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: don't want her to see them texts? Are you kidding me?
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: She didn't delete the picture. She didn't delete the picture.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: I think the sister is lying. What's going on here?
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: Because somebody just tell me the truth. Well let's go
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: over there for a second. Okay, what's going on here?
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Come on? Your relationship within the man that has a
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: really messy sister that you've known this for quite some time.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Right now, Shirley says that your man is lying that
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: he did go down and then to meet them, because
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: he got the picture to prove it. That is a picture.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: And he he's not saying he wasn't there. M. He
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: is saying, it didn't go down like that. I was
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: just going to the sports whatever to watch a preseason game. M.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: What he should have said was, okay, come on, come on,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: Me and my friends were scheduled to meet there, and
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: we all met at the preseason game, and I'll be
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: damned she was there. But now you don't bring your
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: boys into it, because don't nobody get out their house
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: and go to no sports bar by theirself to watch
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: preseason football game. So giving him a better lie, a
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: better way, Yeah, a better lie wasn't good enough. No, no, yeah,
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: that's what it sounds like. Wasn't thorough what his explanation
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: wasn't there wasn't see, he didn't include enough facts. See
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: here's a problem with y'all women. Let me just take
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: about the Yeah, all that's true, he said, But she's
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: a lie. It didn't go down like that. I just
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: went down there to watch a preseason football game. That's stupid, dog.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: You should have said when you left. Me and my
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: boys decided to go watch a game with to the
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: sports ball and my sister was down there. Okay, that's
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: the better lie I got you. Yeah, then you then
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: you got some pace, because don't nobody go to a
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: preseason football game and a sports ball by their self
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: unless they're going to meet someone. The guys, Uh just
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: down now? She can somebody just tell me the truth? Now?
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: I can't. Can't you get truth? Because here y'all gonna
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: break up. Believe what you see. You saw the picture,
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: believe that you saw that. But you said you want
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: the truth. The little sister was a lie. I have
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: to agree with you. Yeah, yes, she's Yeah. Time and
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: time I can't. I can't. You know. I don't really
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: know how to answer this letter cause I want to
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: be on this dude's side, because you can't. It could
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: have went down like that, all right, listen while Steve
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: works it out in his own head. Please hit us

- 1:06:05Speaker 1: You're listening. All right, guys, you know what time it is.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: It's time for Junior and sports talk. Junior. What you got? Okay, Shirley.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: But first I must remind you Huntsville, Alabama. I'm on
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: my way Thursday. Get your tickets. Stand up, laugh, labor
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: they weekend. We gonna have a ball man, love y'all.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: All right, I'm let's talk about this man. Doctor Jay
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: is in the news from sports. Doctor Jay believes that
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Kobe Bryant's number should not be retired league wide. Now,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: the NBA just retired Bill Russell's number league way, But
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: Doctor Jay said, there's two totally different situations. First of all,
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: Bill was eighty six years old. He's a champion owning
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: off the court, he was an activist, And Kobe situation
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: is totally different. It should be up to the franchise
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: just to retires kobe number, not league Why does he
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: have a point? I mean, yeah, it's a point. I
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: mean not guess, but you know, if the Lakers retire
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: his number, I think that's enough. Yeah, you know, not
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: league wide though. You know, the franchise retires your number,
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: that's big league wide. I don't. I don't know, you know, Yeah,
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: he just said, it's just two different situations. Kobe was
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: one of the greatest basketball players. E was tid Sneakers,
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: that's for sure, ain't no doubt about it. Does he
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: need his number required league wide? I don't know. But
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: I've never had that as a conversation because this is
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: the first time I've ever heard this conversation in my
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: life about a number. I'm trying to figure out what's
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: the problem either way. Well, you know, Bill Russell was
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: an activist, and you know, he was the first black
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: coach in the NBA. You know, is he broke a
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: lot of barriers down. Yeah, that's that's a totally different thing.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: And I think that that on. I think what Doctor
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: Jay has said, if you're gonna do something that special,
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: it has to be for a person that has earned
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: that right to carry that banner like that for the league. Yeah,
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: you know, and Kobe was that for the Lakers, you
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: know what I mean. He affected so many of these
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: young basketball players careers. But when you talk about the
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: really all the stuff Bill Russell did, it dawns in comparison.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: Anybody does. He's got eleven championship. Bring Jordan don't have eleven,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: right right? George's number not retired league wide either, so
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: you know, so you can't. But it's not an argument
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: I care to get into, because no, I just thought,
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: do you have another sports story? Yeah? The Texans detected
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: three and old in preseason and the Browns lost again
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: of this week. Just want to let you know. I
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: don't know what you was doing if you caught the game.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: You mean in the preseason, yes, sir, just want to
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: let you know that they failed twenty one to twenty
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: to the payer. But the Texans are three and old
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: in preseason, in the preseason, yeah that count. Yeah, well,
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: these are wins we might not get doing the season.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna talk about it. We enjoy yourself. Yeah, I'm
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: enjoying it because the Browns lost in the Texas one
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: because you talk about we was trash anyway, Hey, little man,
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: all right, he got another sports Okay, Yeah, that's say
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: Bravado after season stars want to have another story? You know,
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: we'll hear all that coming up at the top of
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: the hour. Question for you, Steve Harvey. We'll be back
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening show, all right, Steve, this
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: is for you. Millicent in Pine Bluff, Arkansas says this
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: is not a relationship question. She wrote in she says,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: this is a business question, since you figured out how
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: to blend your family after your marriage. Uh, Miss Millicent said,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: I am seventy nine and my boyfriend is eighty six
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: years old. Neither one of us wants to get married again.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: But we do everything that married couples do, and we
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: even share bank accounts. This caused a big problem with
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: his children because I'm on his accounts. They are not.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: I want his children to stop harassing me, but he
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: won't intervene. What should I do? That's what Miss Millitan
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: wants to know. Millicent wants to know from you, Steve,
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: what should she do about? Well, Miss Millicent, this is
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: you know, a real mess right here now, Miss Millicent. Mh,
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: y'all be honest with you now, y'all too old for this.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: And it's really she's just and he eighty six. It's
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: just eighty six. You know, you can't just say that.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: That's not a number where you could just I'm just
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: sev me nine. That's a pretty that's you. You you
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: up there, you getting cold? That milestone is eighty. That
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: seventy fifth birthday is big. They get all big after sixty. Yeah,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: so miss Millicent, it's really nothing I could tell you.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: It's look, they're looking at one day something gonna happen
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: to their father and they don't see why you control
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: it and they ain't. That's all this is. And neither
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: one of y'all want to get married. That's the thing.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: Why you don't. I don't understand. Y'all share everything together,
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: including the bank account. I don't know what the problem is.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: If you're just going to make it legal, you can
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: solve all your problems. Nobody say nothing. They got to
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: get out your face and all of that. But you
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: know that's your advice to miss Millicent. I mean, if
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: you get married, you shut out all these problems. It's
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: legally and everything and is binding. So that solves your problem.
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: Why y'all don't want to get married? Calls or what?
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: See that? What I want to know why y'all don't
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: want to get married? Do they get more money if
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: they stay single? Is that? It? Is it financial? Get
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: more money from social Security? Social I don't know. I
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: don't know how they work, man, I ain't getting a
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: qual I just got a letter from aa 'all p
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: and I was so offended. Why the hell y'all talking
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: to man? I don't send me no damn, I don't
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: even no blueberry special, don't you know? Damn you're offended?
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: Discount on the peels and all this here game? Man,
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: I don't hear this. I actually gotten mad. Yeah, Oh
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: I understand. I think it's a great program. I wasn't absolute. Yeah,
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: so that's your advice to Miss Millicent and her man
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: just getting married? Yeah, getting married? And you shut out
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: all that conversation. Why not y'all doing everything else together
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: and neither one of us wants to get married? Well, okay,
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: well you do know y'all close to the tape though,
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: you do know that. But decision. But what are you saying?
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: You know any day? Now? The clock is kicking? Are
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: you looking for you? Man? This is my favorite line, though.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: I'm the one thing when you called, when you send
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: me nine and eighty six, when somebody calling you don't answer,
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: the first thing they thank you. My boyfriend is eighty six.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: My first of all, you sent me nine, you too,
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: damn my old hair boyfriends. That's a man. Huh. You
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: need to have her husband's widows, you know, stuff like that.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: You got him a young woman. She needs some different titles.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: All right, So there you go, miss Millicent. All right. Wow,
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: that's the advice Steve Harvey is giving you. But he
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: just made one valid point. Better answer that phone when
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: it rings coming up at twenty minutes after the hour.
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: We'll have more the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: this you're listening show. A thirty four year old businessman
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: from Fort Myers, Florida, was arrested on his wedding night.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: On his wedding night now for soliciting a prostitute. He
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: and his wife honeymooned in Tampa, Florida, and just six
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: hours six hours after his wedding, while his wife was asleep,
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: he looked online for sex and he arranged to meet
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: a prostitute at a Tampa hotel. When he got to
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: the hotel, he was arrested by an undercover detective who
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: would post as a prostitute online. A groom. Yes, the
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: groom was one of one hundred and seventy six men
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: arrested that night in the sting. Is that crazy? He
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: spent his wedding night in jail because he tried to
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: because here were having a lot of wedding nights. The
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: woman be so tired and exhausted from the events. Yeah,
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: and the planning, and it don't be the night that
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: everybody think it's gonna be. And so he got up
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: and went on down there and try to get himself
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: tightened up. And then now when he got caught, what
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: he tried to say was he was a part of
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: the sting and went down there to show him how
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: how people do you know? I'm just down here trying
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: to show him. Look, y'all to start looking out for
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: this stuff. But this how easy it can happen. Yeah,
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: here I am, and you trying to handcut me. Pick
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: your hands off for me. I was just down he
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: knew who this was, just trying to help, y'all. But
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: do you think he's still married, Steve, He's in trouble
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: because he can't get out of this. We'll have more
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at thirty
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: three minutes after we'll play a round of would you rather?
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening time now for would you rather? Guys?
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: Would you rather eat frozen dinners for a month? Frozen
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: ners for a month, or eat nothing but raw food. Oh,
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: raw food, raw food, not frozen, because at least it
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: could be hot. Just give me raw food. They don't
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: see none of the potatoes. I know that cares. All
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: they do is running under the water. Squeeze it all right?
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: Would you rather direct, ever the same? Would you rather
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: direct traffic at a busy intersection? Or would you rather
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: work Chick fil A's drive through? Direct traffic? Drive through? Yeah,
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: I'm gonna work the chicks. Yeah, talking about my plus
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: your nerves, Yeah, I've actually I've actually worked a Chick
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: fil a drive through once. Oh really yeah yeah yeah.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: I was with Dan Cathy. We went to the one
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: and I was in the draft the window. You know,
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: your nerves get bad though. Oh I wasn't helpful at all.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: It's just when they got up there to the window
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: where the money at. That's why I was at. I said,
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: uh at a B eight dollars sir. They could believe
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: using the window, I said, it's eight dollars sir. Hey man, Hey,
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: wait a minute, a man, eight dollars Chick fil a
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: way kind But I had a lot of fun, but
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: I did. I did about six customers, okay, and then
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: they said, okay, thank you, thank you, mister Harvey. Come on,
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: mister Harvey, come on out the window. Did people ask
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: you lord, No, we don't all a man. Just eat
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: your chicken sandwich. Don't worry about that. Let's go without
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: all that. Try it without it? Oh man? Would you
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: rather go all winter without lotion or go all winter
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: without chapstick? M m, I'm gonna. I'm gonna put that
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: lotion down. I can't have the cracking, bleeding lips. Now,
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: let's go to this without because I used baby all
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: but I had got to have chap Yeah, resident these

- 1:18:42Speaker 1: glazed doughnuts. All right, thank you, guys. That's today's round
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: of would you rather? Coming up in forty nine minutes
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: after the hour close out of the show with our
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: last break and of course, some closing remarks from the
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey right after this you're listening show?
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: the day on this Monday. This is our Labor Day
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: week heading into a fall summer. Yeah, last big holiday
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: of the summer everything. Yeah, yeah, and I'll be having
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: a golf tournament and uh in the Bahamas, right, the Bahamas? Yeah,
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: okay not mad An. Does that explain the flowery shirt
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: you have on because you're looking No, I'm a real
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: flowery this morning. Nice shirt today, that's a golf shirt. Sure,
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: it's nice golf shirts. I like the colors. So cats
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: this out here trying to find a golf swing before
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: the tournament, they made some Yeah. Man, do you do
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: you earn your clothes when you're on the road or
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: do somebody? Yeah? I did. I did them last night.
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: You are Are you shocked, Junior? Yeah, I am too.
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: I mean I just ow my golf trip because I
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: didn't bring anybody. Oh no, my other trips. No, I'm
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: not on it nothing. You have people for that. I
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: got people, and the hotel got people. Oh yeah, that's right.
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: It won't be you. Okay. But but see I used
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: to do it all myself, so you know, yeah, and
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: I just learned that. Yeah yeah, all right. So what
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: do you get out of playing golf? Step? I mean
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: what relaxation? I mean, it's worked relaxation, But like right now,
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: I'm revamping my golf swing. So the one I had,
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: I decided not to use it anymore because it wasn't
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: getting the desired results. And so I'm actually revamping my
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: entire golf swing, which is now I'm learning to proper
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: way to swing the club. And it's hard. It's hard
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: because I've been doing it wrong for twenty five years.
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: But it's just the enjoyment. Uh. It's driving in the
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: grass in a car I love. I hate when this
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: card path only when they say you can only got
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: to keep your card on the cart path because it
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: maybe rained a lot that day or something. But I
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: enjoy driving in the grass. I enjoy hitting a good shot.
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: I'm okay when I hit a bad shot. I have
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: to be because it's a lot of them, and you know,
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: I go get it and I try to hit out
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: and stuff like that, and you know, it's just it's challenging,
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: but it's it's relaxing and it's you know, it's a
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: lot of rewards kind of like life. Man. They say,
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: if you really want to find out about a person,
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: play around the golf with them. Really, yeah, because it
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: golf covers everything in one round of golf. You know
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: how a person reacts when it's going well. You know
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: how a person reacts when it's going bad. You find
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: out if they lie or cheat, find out how they
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: handle being in the hazard, find out how they how
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: they their attitude with dealing with situations, because the golf
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: course is always a situation. So what do people find
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: out about you when, oh, that that I'm I'm fine,
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: I'm good to play with, that I handle setbacks and
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: extremely well that my problem solving ability is is max.
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: You know that I know how to deal with setbacks.
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: And they go, man, this is a cool guy. I'm honest,
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: you know, Yeah, I'm honest. Yeah. Well, I tell you
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: right now, if the ball is behind the tree and
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: like the ball laying on roots and stuff, I'm not
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: fit to play this ball. I'm not going to mess
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: my teeth up. I got a TV career and I'm
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: not trying to hit this ball tooth between them two
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: little trees at six I'm not fit to do that.
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: I moved my ball. Ye, Also, you cheat, I tell
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: you I'm moving my ball. Damn how you feel. But
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: say we're not in a tournament and my golf tournament.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: You know, we're in the golf tournament. We got played
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: by the rules. But I'm out here with my buddies
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: playing man. Is it true, though, you cut a lot
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: of business deals on the golf course, because that's one
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: of the first things I ever learned about golf. I
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: have had a lot of transactions happened on the golf course,
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: so it is possible. But if you ain't got no business,
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: you just out there playing golf though. Well, let me
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: ask you a question, though, Steve, because you know you're
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: doing your golf tournament coming up Labor Day weekend and
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: it's for your foundation, right so what are you most
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: grateful for that you're able to do this and give
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: back to well kids from fatherless homes, your mentoring program.
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: I mean, you know it's for boys anchors. It's just
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: my light's work right now. It's the thing that I
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: put the most premium on. It's the thing that's that
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: will I will leave my mark when I'm gone, that
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: these young people's lives that we've affected will make changes
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: in society. You know, what I'm doing now is for
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: the future of a lot of young people. One of
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: my favorite quotes is a Greek a Greek quote from
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: Greek anthology Nobody knows who wrote it, but it says
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: a society becomes great when old men plant trees under
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: which the shade they know they'll never sit. Okay, all right,
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: good men do things for other people. And that's what
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: I try to be. I try to be a person
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: that does good things for other people. And so that's
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: the light's work we're in. That's what we're doing, and
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: so that's what's gonna happen to make it pop. You
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: know what the legacy behind, that's what the legacy ranches about.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: It's the legacy, man. Yeah, God's word. It happen for all.
