- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things and abstrue good of the listening to other.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Please I don't join joining me. You gotta use that
- 1:01Speaker 1: turn you go. You gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn you haven't got to turn them out? Then turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water go. Come come on your fad,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I sure will. Good morning everybody. You are listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, Come on dig me now? Want and only
- 2:08Speaker 1: Steve harber Man got a radio show? Yeah I do. Man.
- 2:16Speaker 1: God been so good to me over the years, in
- 2:18Speaker 1: spite of all the mistakes I've made, in spite of
- 2:22Speaker 1: all the dirt I've done to myself. I'm talking about
- 2:27Speaker 1: when in no one I was wrong, His grace and
- 2:31Speaker 1: mercy has forgiven me for all of my sins. God
- 2:36Speaker 1: can forgive you of all of your sins. Everything you've done,
- 2:42Speaker 1: God can forgive you. He can wipe your slate clean. Now.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Might you might have some you know, things you got
- 2:49Speaker 1: to deal with because of some of your actions. Understand that.
- 2:53Speaker 1: But you can wipe your slates. You can wipe your
- 2:56Speaker 1: slate clean with God and start again. You can repent.
- 3:00Speaker 1: God has mercy and grace. You could be forgiven by God.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Now people answer another story. Some people may never forgive you,
- 3:07Speaker 1: for you've heard them all, or maybe they're accusing you
- 3:10Speaker 1: of doing something else. But you know they may never
- 3:13Speaker 1: forgive you. But God, God is in the redemption business man.
- 3:18Speaker 1: God will forgive you for every sin you've ever committed.
- 3:22Speaker 1: But you gotta want forgiveness now. And then you got
- 3:25Speaker 1: to come correct because what you can't do is you
- 3:28Speaker 1: can't shoot him the crap. Now you can say that
- 3:31Speaker 1: conversation with him. You know, whatever you told your lawyer,
- 3:35Speaker 1: whatever you told the victims, whatever you told, whatever the
- 3:40Speaker 1: story is you got going if it ain't the truth,
- 3:43Speaker 1: you could say that with God, because please know, he know,
- 3:47Speaker 1: and he know your heart. He know if you're trying
- 3:49Speaker 1: to manipulate somebody just for the system, if you're trying
- 3:53Speaker 1: to say this just so you can get out, you
- 3:55Speaker 1: know all of that. So if you're planning on shucking
- 3:58Speaker 1: him and jiving him, save your breather before you wind
- 4:01Speaker 1: up digging yourself in a deeper hole. Just let me
- 4:04Speaker 1: give you that piece of advice. Because he ain't nothing
- 4:06Speaker 1: to play with. He's too great to be played with.
- 4:09Speaker 1: And so with that in mind, I want to share
- 4:12Speaker 1: some positive stuff with you to smartn man. I want
- 4:14Speaker 1: to say this now. I want to remind you not
- 4:17Speaker 1: to let your circumstance and your situations dictate your future
- 4:23Speaker 1: or your results. I'm gonna say this again. This is
- 4:27Speaker 1: important information. Man. Don't let your circumstance and situations dictate
- 4:33Speaker 1: your future or your results. Do you know that in
- 4:38Speaker 1: order to get a different future or some different results,
- 4:43Speaker 1: you control that entire situation. It is you. It is
- 4:47Speaker 1: your thoughts that control the entire situation. It is how
- 4:51Speaker 1: you look at the situation that will determine how the
- 4:54Speaker 1: situation is for you. See, the same situation can be
- 4:59Speaker 1: totally different for two different people, because you can say
- 5:02Speaker 1: you look at the examples of history, just just look
- 5:05Speaker 1: look in your neighborhood. How can that? Was a book
- 5:08Speaker 1: that a guy wrote one time who had the name.
- 5:10Speaker 1: He had a name, and he did some research and
- 5:13Speaker 1: he found a guy that grew up at the same age,
- 5:17Speaker 1: in the same neighborhood as him, with the exact same name.
- 5:22Speaker 1: He went on to become a corporate CEO. The other
- 5:25Speaker 1: man was an inmate, and they had the same name,
- 5:31Speaker 1: grew up in the same neighborhood. They were both brothers,
- 5:36Speaker 1: you know not I'm just saying brothers men, and they
- 5:40Speaker 1: grew and they went to them. Because how can two
- 5:42Speaker 1: different two people the same situation and the results turn
- 5:46Speaker 1: out so different. It is because of the thought process
- 5:49Speaker 1: of one was completely different from the thought process of
- 5:52Speaker 1: the other. You control it. You don't have to let
- 5:55Speaker 1: your circumstances and your situations dictate your future or your results.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Here's the way it works. This is so you can
- 6:04Speaker 1: understand this. Your mind. It's the controlling factor of your thoughts.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Your thoughts are the controlling factor of your outcome. The
- 6:15Speaker 1: Bible says a man is as he thinketh. Please don't
- 6:19Speaker 1: short play this scripture here, because this one is the
- 6:23Speaker 1: real deal. This is the basis of every self improvement
- 6:28Speaker 1: book you'll ever read. It's already written in the Bible.
- 6:31Speaker 1: The Bible has all the information you need. But in
- 6:34Speaker 1: case you need a little bit of clarity in some
- 6:36Speaker 1: simple modern day language, then they have self improvement books.
- 6:40Speaker 1: They are all based on Biblical scripture. A man is
- 6:43Speaker 1: as he thinketh. That's why Norman Vincent Peale wrote the
- 6:47Speaker 1: book The Power of Positive thinking. That's why a book
- 6:51Speaker 1: came out called The Magic of Thinking Big. That's why
- 6:54Speaker 1: a book came out called Think and Grow Rich by
- 6:57Speaker 1: Napoleon Hell that all of you, all these titles that
- 7:01Speaker 1: I've read that have mattered in my life the most,
- 7:03Speaker 1: These three major books that I've read, they all say
- 7:06Speaker 1: one thing. Think, thinking thoughts, because that's what controls the outcome.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Your brain works one of two ways. It works positive
- 7:20Speaker 1: or negative. It works good, which is under the column
- 7:25Speaker 1: of positive, or to work evil, which is under the
- 7:28Speaker 1: column of negative. It will have faith, which is under
- 7:32Speaker 1: the column of positive, or you will operate in fear,
- 7:37Speaker 1: which is in the column of negative. That is the
- 7:39Speaker 1: only way your mind works. Your mind is a factory
- 7:44Speaker 1: that's comprised of workers. Those workers are controlled by two formings,
- 7:50Speaker 1: forming positive and forming negative. But guess what the CEO
- 7:55Speaker 1: of the company, the head, man, the boss is you.
- 8:00Speaker 1: You come to work in the morning and you say, man,
- 8:04Speaker 1: today is a great day. I'm going to take steps
- 8:07Speaker 1: towards brightening my future. I'm going to take another step
- 8:11Speaker 1: into making that dream come true that I've been thinking about.
- 8:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna take another step forward in the development and
- 8:18Speaker 1: the changing of my life in a positive, good direction.
- 8:22Speaker 1: If you come to work and say that every day
- 8:24Speaker 1: as the CEO, the boss, the formans can only obey you,
- 8:29Speaker 1: so that what you just said was a series of
- 8:31Speaker 1: positive statements, then forming positive steps to the forefront. He said,
- 8:36Speaker 1: I got your boss right away. He turns around, He
- 8:39Speaker 1: blows the whistle. He alerts all the workers in the
- 8:43Speaker 1: factory today as a good day. Today, we will take
- 8:46Speaker 1: steps towards our future. Today we are putting ourselves on
- 8:50Speaker 1: track to get a little bit closer to making our
- 8:52Speaker 1: dreams come true. Today we will be assembling all the
- 8:56Speaker 1: things we need to make our dreams come true in
- 8:59Speaker 1: our life better in the right direction. Everybody break. The
- 9:03Speaker 1: workers in the factory turn around and manufacture thoughts to
- 9:08Speaker 1: justify the orders given by the boss, which is you.
- 9:14Speaker 1: You are the CEO of your corporation. If you don't
- 9:17Speaker 1: own nothing else, you own everything that's going on between
- 9:21Speaker 1: your two ears. You are the CEO of that corporation.
- 9:25Speaker 1: If that corporation is a good one, it's because you
- 9:28Speaker 1: set it up that way. If your corporation is a
- 9:30Speaker 1: bad one, it's because you set it up that day.
- 9:33Speaker 1: If you trying, if you pushing towards your dreams and
- 9:36Speaker 1: you see the possibility of things happening in your life
- 9:39Speaker 1: is because you, as the CEO, set it up that way.
- 9:42Speaker 1: If you ain't got nothing popping, if you just want
- 9:44Speaker 1: to be a criminal taking stuff from people, throwing your
- 9:47Speaker 1: life out the window, you're gonna be an inmate. You're
- 9:49Speaker 1: gonna be sitting there there and you're gonna be mad
- 9:50Speaker 1: at everybody. You got nobody be mad at. But shoot,
- 9:53Speaker 1: you understand what I'm telling you this morning? Huh, you're
- 9:57Speaker 1: listening show. I've got sunshine on a cloudy day when
- 10:05Speaker 1: it's cold outside. I got the month of mate. Well,
- 10:08Speaker 1: I guess you say, what can make me feel this way?
- 10:11Speaker 1: My girl, my girl? I'm talking about my girl, my girl. Huh.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Those were lyrics everybody to the way they used to

- 18:14Speaker 1: are unable to deliver this pizza to you. Okay, Why
- 18:18Speaker 1: because you are in the penitentiary, sir. No one delivers

- 19:27Speaker 1: pizzas more? We don't discriminator, but we ain't located in
- 19:30Speaker 1: that goal unless you go give me some petrol from
- 19:33Speaker 1: my Metro, I ain't coming. Let me tell you something.
- 19:35Speaker 1: I want you to remember the number three fold two
- 19:37Speaker 1: dads six eight nine. If you see that gray painted
- 19:40Speaker 1: on your house or that damn pizza place, then you
- 19:43Speaker 1: know my thing got out and I'm looking for your

- 26:44Speaker 1: you don't approve of a younger woman dating an older

- 27:50Speaker 1: but it's real, real close to raw sewage, to what
- 27:57Speaker 1: raw sewage. Because I'm telling you, man, when you're a
- 28:03Speaker 1: young girl and the man is older, you're fit to
- 28:07Speaker 1: uncover someome things that Jess, it's no way you you
- 28:12Speaker 1: have the bandwidth to even wrap your mind around. So
- 28:16Speaker 1: get ready to be taken on a really dark ride.
- 28:21Speaker 1: And it ain't it's a small world after him, and
- 28:25Speaker 1: give the car back and all that. I don't know
- 28:27Speaker 1: what you're gonna do, but when you're taking in out
- 28:29Speaker 1: of your daddy. Your daddy gonna know because he's gonna

- 28:39Speaker 1: saying what it is for him. She's fit to be
- 28:49Speaker 1: taking care of his own ass. In a minute, y'all.
- 28:53Speaker 1: Hope you don't mind wiping people? All right, we gotta go,
- 28:57Speaker 1: thank you. Still, let me keep the car. Yeah, I'm
- 29:01Speaker 1: saying all right. At the top of the hour, coming

- 29:15Speaker 1: Everybody hates Chris? Everybody remember that show? Yeah, great show,
- 29:20Speaker 1: start to Sheena Arnold and Terry Cruise. While it was
- 29:23Speaker 1: an autobiographical comedy inspired by Chris Rock's teenage years, and
- 29:28Speaker 1: it has been reimagined into an animated series now and
- 29:32Speaker 1: guess what the title is, Everybody still Hates Chris? I
- 29:37Speaker 1: mean the news show will air on Comedy Central and
- 29:43Speaker 1: streamed on Paramount Plus. Chris Rock will return as the
- 29:47Speaker 1: narrator and EP of the show. So congratulations to you
- 29:51Speaker 1: Chris Rock again. And I'm moving on to Yeah, that
- 29:55Speaker 1: really is cool. It's animated. I'd like to see that. Yeah. Yeah,
- 29:59Speaker 1: And a recent AARP article, Tyler Perry opened up about
- 30:03Speaker 1: paying the late great icon Cicily Tyson one million dollars
- 30:10Speaker 1: one million dollars for one day's work back in two
- 30:15Speaker 1: thousand and seven for her role and why did I
- 30:17Speaker 1: get married? Tyler said, this woman has done so many
- 30:22Speaker 1: amazing things, but she wasn't well compensated for it. She
- 30:26Speaker 1: made six thousand dollars, just six thousand dollars for Sounder
- 30:32Speaker 1: And yeah, who knew that, right? Who knew? Yeah? Six
- 30:35Speaker 1: thousand dollars. That's embarrassing for Sicily Tyson. Come on now,
- 30:40Speaker 1: I wanted to make sure the show knew that there
- 30:43Speaker 1: were people who valued her. Miss Sicily Tyson passed away
- 30:47Speaker 1: in twenty twenty one at the age of ninety six,
- 30:50Speaker 1: and her acting career spanned seven decades. So thank you,
- 30:54Speaker 1: Tyler Perry for you know, giving her the respect that
- 30:59Speaker 1: she's so Tubman duly deserved. Yeah, Miss Jane Pittman, Yeah, yes,
- 31:10Speaker 1: Green Tomatoes and greatness, greatness. Yeah. So I'm Steve the
- 31:20Speaker 1: invest Fest You've been talking about it for a while.

- 31:38Speaker 1: featured speaker. You're gonna be the featured speaker tomorrow night.
- 31:47Speaker 1: And Terry Tyler Perry has been added to the roster
- 31:50Speaker 1: for Sunday Night. So tell us about invest Fest and
- 31:54Speaker 1: why is this so important for people of all ages? Well,
- 31:57Speaker 1: I can tell you about it, but you know, anytime
- 32:00Speaker 1: I get involved with the project and my name is
- 32:02Speaker 1: on it, it's sold out. So uh, you know you
- 32:15Speaker 1: loood to see you, but wouldn't want to be you. Yeah,
- 32:21Speaker 1: you know the words. So anyway, but it's it's gonna
- 32:24Speaker 1: be great, man, it's uh seeing it will be there Sunday.
- 32:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna come Saturday and Sunday I'll be there. I
- 32:30Speaker 1: speak Saturday at three pm. Um, I'm gonna do more
- 32:36Speaker 1: of a motivational mindset. What's important for me is there's
- 32:40Speaker 1: gonna be a lot of technical conversations and how to
- 32:44Speaker 1: But for me, as the most critical part of my
- 32:47Speaker 1: success has been developing the right mindset. And so what
- 32:51Speaker 1: I'm gonna share with people's Saturday is how to how
- 32:56Speaker 1: to process, how to put your mind in the right space,
- 33:00Speaker 1: because success begins in the mind. Success it all begins
- 33:07Speaker 1: in the mind. But it's a way you have to think,
- 33:10Speaker 1: even not only at the beginning of the journey, but
- 33:13Speaker 1: how to think and process it throughout the journey. And
- 33:17Speaker 1: a lot of people never learn this, I found and
- 33:20Speaker 1: sometimes you just need very You need a lot of
- 33:23Speaker 1: pearls and a lot of jewels of wisdom along the way.
- 33:26Speaker 1: And so that's primarily what I'm going to focus on tomorrow,
- 33:30Speaker 1: to talk to people about how to handle it all
- 33:34Speaker 1: when it starts coming your way, and it is going
- 33:37Speaker 1: to come your way because success is hard. But there
- 33:40Speaker 1: was the first year they did this, they did a
- 33:45Speaker 1: little over three thousand tickets, which was big, and then
- 33:50Speaker 1: we got involved in meet. Well let's just say, I
- 33:56Speaker 1: brain God in the meet with me on all my projects.
- 34:01Speaker 1: And once I got him involved, we're now a thousand
- 34:05Speaker 1: tickets over. Amen, look at God. I mean, you know
- 34:12Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I'm just saying I ain't gonna lie,
- 34:14Speaker 1: I ain't gonna try to take the credit for it.
- 34:16Speaker 1: I just know the one I get in something take
- 34:18Speaker 1: God with me. I let him do what he do.
- 34:21Speaker 1: He be clowning. Amen, Amen, I don't even ask him
- 34:26Speaker 1: to quit showing out because you can't tell him that
- 34:29Speaker 1: because he do what he do. Yeah, that's right, and
- 34:32Speaker 1: he gets the facts. Would be really great this weekend, man,
- 34:35Speaker 1: Yeah you, Steve Harvey, Tyler, Perry, Rick Ross, Charlamagne and
- 34:39Speaker 1: a host of others. Um, the hosts of the Earnier
- 34:43Speaker 1: Leisure podcast will be there as well. Well, I certainly
- 34:46Speaker 1: hope they'll be there their thing, but it's sold out.
- 34:51Speaker 1: I hope you got your tickets already because it's sold
- 34:53Speaker 1: out and it's something you don't want to miss. And

- 43:23Speaker 1: folks that the White County Fair. My red, white and blue.
- 43:28Speaker 1: Took it out soon as I got out, dude, because
- 43:30Speaker 1: the next night I was at the Black Nationalist Convention,

- 45:36Speaker 1: are you talking about? Being there? Where? Here? At the
- 45:41Speaker 1: adult daycare? Adult daycare? Where where's that? What are you talking? Okay?
- 45:48Speaker 1: Is Evan? My name? My name is Evan, Yes, ma'am.

- 45:56Speaker 1: my daughters. Yes, well she's the one that has you
- 45:59Speaker 1: signed up. You're gonna be at the adult daycare, so

- 46:04Speaker 1: and I tell you talking about Evan, Evan, hang on
- 46:07Speaker 1: a second. All right, First of all, I don't know

- 46:29Speaker 1: not at I'm a share. Your daughter has signed you
- 46:33Speaker 1: up to be here at the adult daycare during the day,
- 46:37Speaker 1: so I'm going to I don't know what you're talking about.
- 46:40Speaker 1: There's no way she would do that adult day care.
- 46:43Speaker 1: What do I need to? Don't think care for so what? Well,
- 46:46Speaker 1: evidently are you home alone most of the time during
- 46:49Speaker 1: the day. Who cares if I'm home alone? Why are
- 46:52Speaker 1: you asking me that you're trying to break into my house? No?
- 46:57Speaker 1: You are, man, I don't know who share. Okay, Look,
- 47:02Speaker 1: I'm hooked up to that uh nine one month stuff.
- 47:05Speaker 1: Thanks like I could just do a panicle right now
- 47:09Speaker 1: and don't trace this call and they will come to
- 47:12Speaker 1: you and arrest you because you're harassing me. No, no, no, okay,
- 47:17Speaker 1: miss Sharon, I'm not harassing you. Your daughter, Diane came
- 47:22Speaker 1: in and up. Yes, she signed you up for you
- 47:25Speaker 1: to go to this daycare Monday to Friday. Why, she's
- 47:29Speaker 1: at work, so she's going to be dropping you off
- 47:31Speaker 1: and then she'll pick you up in the evenings on
- 47:33Speaker 1: her way home from work. I don't know where you
- 47:36Speaker 1: got that from I don't know who told you that. Yeah,
- 47:38Speaker 1: you got my daughter's name. And this is really freaking
- 47:41Speaker 1: me out, you know, a little bit over here, Ivan,
- 47:44Speaker 1: because I don't know why you know my name. He's
- 47:46Speaker 1: know my daughter's name. Ah, this is like the only
- 47:49Speaker 1: reason I know a name, miss miss Sharon, is because
- 47:52Speaker 1: she came in and gave all the information and she
- 47:55Speaker 1: has paid for you to come to the adult daycare
- 47:59Speaker 1: on a daily bay. Yeah, yeah, here, yeah, I hear. Hey,
- 48:01Speaker 1: even you know what, you sound like a nice guy,
- 48:03Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Like you're smooth, you got
- 48:05Speaker 1: a nice voice, You're you're you know, like you know
- 48:08Speaker 1: what to say. I don't know who the hell you are, though,
- 48:10Speaker 1: I don't know what you're talking about. You know what
- 48:12Speaker 1: I mean, Like, I'm not going to no daycare center.
- 48:15Speaker 1: I'm not going with daycare centers or date because I'm fine.
- 48:20Speaker 1: Just get that through your head. There's nothing wrong with me.
- 48:23Speaker 1: I stay home, I got a dog, I walk the dog,
- 48:27Speaker 1: I go street shopping, my daughter comes over. Everything's fine.
- 48:31Speaker 1: I don't get no daycare center. Okay, I understand what
- 48:34Speaker 1: I'm saying that there is there is there a reason
- 48:37Speaker 1: why she would sign you up, ma'am. She must do.
- 48:40Speaker 1: She must be looking out for you the best you
- 48:42Speaker 1: know your hell, let me ask you, let me ask you.
- 48:45Speaker 1: Are you single? What are you single? Are you married?
- 48:49Speaker 1: What does that have to do to anybody? I'm not
- 48:51Speaker 1: coming to no datehare center, all right, Evan. Like, if
- 48:54Speaker 1: you want to come to my house and you want
- 48:56Speaker 1: to see how I live, you can. I don't know
- 48:59Speaker 1: what I'm switching. I'm switching it up, Okay, I don't
- 49:04Speaker 1: need to come to your home. I'm more concerned about
- 49:07Speaker 1: making sure you're comfortable here at the adult day when
- 49:10Speaker 1: you get here on Monday. Yeah, I'm not coming there.
- 49:13Speaker 1: That's it. I'm not coming there because there's nothing wrong
- 49:15Speaker 1: with me. I'm not coming out of my house. But
- 49:17Speaker 1: I'll pay what even you? I don't know. Like I
- 49:22Speaker 1: like your voice. I just like your voice. And miss
- 49:25Speaker 1: way minute, mister? How old? How old you? M I'm
- 49:32Speaker 1: fifty fifty. Have you ever been with an eighty nine
- 49:36Speaker 1: year old lady? Wow? Why? Nine? And you sound really nice?
- 49:43Speaker 1: That's all? Like at first I was scared of you.
- 49:46Speaker 1: At first, I want to be honest, I was scared
- 49:48Speaker 1: of you. And now I'm not Like I don't know why.
- 49:52Speaker 1: I'm just not you know what I mean? Like you
- 49:54Speaker 1: just sound that. Yeah, I don't know who you are.
- 49:58Speaker 1: But okay, so wow, will you be here? Will you
- 50:04Speaker 1: be a day like you? Because I like to meet you.
- 50:09Speaker 1: I'll be at the daycare when you arrive on Monday.
- 50:12Speaker 1: But I mean, I'm not, um, miss Sharon, I won't
- 50:18Speaker 1: be able to I like that, Miss Sharon. That's nice.
- 50:22Speaker 1: Oh ahead, ahead, Okay, So should I should I reach

- 50:44Speaker 1: not about me. It's about you coming in and you're
- 50:48Speaker 1: gonna this is where you're gonna be, uh, Monday through
- 50:51Speaker 1: Friday from all right. You know, there's there's there's there's
- 50:55Speaker 1: other people your age here. There's there's a lot of ladies.
- 50:58Speaker 1: You're aging a lot of men. You're here ladies. I'm
- 51:01Speaker 1: not in the ladies. I'm not in late. I didn't
- 51:03Speaker 1: I'm not turning, yeah, not into it. I'm I'm into you. Oh,
- 51:08Speaker 1: te um. I think it's a situation like your your
- 51:13Speaker 1: daughter doesn't want you to be by yourself. Yeah, would
- 51:16Speaker 1: you could I call you back? Did I call you back? Yeah,
- 51:21Speaker 1: let me call you back. Let me call you back.
- 51:23Speaker 1: In a couple of minutes. I'm on the shore and
- 51:26Speaker 1: I got pulled my off of the thing. This is
- 51:30Speaker 1: the first this is ever happened to me. Okay, uh,
- 51:34Speaker 1: miss Shearon, Can I tell you who I am? I
- 51:38Speaker 1: am Matthew telling me from the Steve Arvey Morning Show.
- 51:41Speaker 1: Your daughter Diane got me the prank. Call you, but
- 51:45Speaker 1: I promise you you're different. You're I promise you I'm different.
- 51:51Speaker 1: I promise you I'm different. Here it relates to Steve Harvey,
- 51:56Speaker 1: like the guy on TV that's got it here. He
- 52:01Speaker 1: is gorgeous, right all right, Okay, I love you. Oh
- 52:10Speaker 1: my god, I swear I felt like I just got
- 52:13Speaker 1: prank right there though. Right now? Yeah, yeah, you're gonna
- 52:19Speaker 1: le stop playing. She started flirting with me. Yeah, the lady,
- 52:26Speaker 1: the lady on the prank. Did us watch this? Yeah
- 52:31Speaker 1: she turned it around, Yeah she did. Speaking of speaking

- 53:26Speaker 1: right here, right now, and you never know it could
- 53:29Speaker 1: be yours. That's right yours, yours. Buckle up and hold
- 53:34Speaker 1: on tight. We got it for you here. It is
- 53:36Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter. Thank you. Few subjects. I know what
- 53:39Speaker 1: I heard. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a thirty nine year
- 53:43Speaker 1: old woman married to a fifty two year old man.
- 53:47Speaker 1: We've been married twelve years and we have four kids.
- 53:49Speaker 1: I have one child from a previous relationship, and he
- 53:52Speaker 1: has three kids from three different women. We had to
- 53:56Speaker 1: blend our family and we've struggled through baby mama drama
- 53:59Speaker 1: for years. Now that that's all under control, I feel
- 54:02Speaker 1: like he's cheating on me, and I'm pretty sure I
- 54:05Speaker 1: heard him having sex with another woman. He picked me
- 54:08Speaker 1: up from work on Tuesday and we stopped to have
- 54:11Speaker 1: a glass of wine before we got home with the kids.
- 54:14Speaker 1: He ignored me the entire time and kept on watching
- 54:18Speaker 1: something on his phone. We got back in his car
- 54:21Speaker 1: and he plugged his phone up to change it to
- 54:24Speaker 1: charge it. Whatever he'd been watching at the bar was
- 54:27Speaker 1: now playing in the car, and it was definitely a
- 54:30Speaker 1: sex video, and I most definitely heard his voice and
- 54:34Speaker 1: a woman definitely called his name. He started sweating bullets
- 54:39Speaker 1: and fumbling with his phone. I calmed him down by
- 54:43Speaker 1: lapping it off, but I was not going to let
- 54:45Speaker 1: it go. He was quiet as a church mouse all evening,
- 54:49Speaker 1: and after I'd had my shower, I went to talk
- 54:52Speaker 1: to him. He swears it wasn't him on that video,
- 54:55Speaker 1: and whatever that was that I heard, whatever that was
- 54:59Speaker 1: that I heard. He handed over his phone and I
- 55:02Speaker 1: went through the photos, the videos, and I checked his
- 55:04Speaker 1: Internet search history, which had already he had already deleted.
- 55:09Speaker 1: I should have confronted him sooner, because he had time
- 55:12Speaker 1: to get his blank together, his sugar honey iced tea together.
- 55:16Speaker 1: I told him to let me keep his phone for
- 55:17Speaker 1: twenty four hours, and he said, there's no way that
- 55:20Speaker 1: will ever happen. I know I heard his voice and
- 55:23Speaker 1: a female calling his name. If he's innocent, then why
- 55:27Speaker 1: can't he give me his phone for a day and
- 55:29Speaker 1: get this? He put a passcode on his phone? Am
- 55:32Speaker 1: I crazy? Or is he up to something? Please advise? Oh,
- 55:37Speaker 1: come come on now, Bally, you already know what this is.
- 55:41Speaker 1: You already know what it is. You heard it with
- 55:44Speaker 1: your own ears. You dropped the ball because you didn't
- 55:47Speaker 1: address it immediately, and you gave him time to delete
- 55:50Speaker 1: his search history and everything. So if it was proof
- 55:54Speaker 1: that you needed, well that's over. That's gone. And yes,
- 55:58Speaker 1: you are crazy if you think he or any man,
- 56:03Speaker 1: any man is going to allow you to keep their
- 56:06Speaker 1: phone for a day, no matter what you're accusing him of.
- 56:09Speaker 1: And he certainly won't give it to you if he's
- 56:12Speaker 1: guilty of cheating. Come on, so you gotta let that go.
- 56:16Speaker 1: It's not gonna happen. It's not about him giving you
- 56:19Speaker 1: his phone now. The damage has been done anyway. I
- 56:22Speaker 1: just can't believe that he was stupid enough to actually
- 56:24Speaker 1: watch the video while he was out with you or whatever.
- 56:28Speaker 1: He was watching and ignoring you at the club. No
- 56:31Speaker 1: wonder he was ignoring you though, No wonder he was.
- 56:35Speaker 1: It was some action going down on his phone. You
- 56:38Speaker 1: heard it, You heard it, You had him red handed,
- 56:41Speaker 1: you let it slip out of your hands. You knew
- 56:45Speaker 1: that was him on the tape, and like you said,
- 56:48Speaker 1: you know what you heard. He can't explain or lie
- 56:52Speaker 1: his way out of this one because you heard him
- 56:54Speaker 1: having sex with another woman and her calling his name.
- 56:57Speaker 1: So what are you gonna do? Trust is broken? I mean,
- 57:02Speaker 1: can you forgive him? Is this a deal breaker for him?
- 57:05Speaker 1: Can you continue to be married to him? Knowing what
- 57:08Speaker 1: you heard? Knowing what you know? How do you plan
- 57:10Speaker 1: to move on from this? I mean, I'm not gonna
- 57:13Speaker 1: tell you to leave him. This decision is clearly yours
- 57:16Speaker 1: because you heard what you heard, You have the facts.
- 57:19Speaker 1: Now do what you're gonna do. Steve I Neville being
- 57:27Speaker 1: more disappointed in a man being proud and being disappointed
- 57:35Speaker 1: again in a dude ripped up listening to this foolishness.
- 57:44Speaker 1: Now they've been married all that, y'all had a blended family,
- 57:48Speaker 1: baby mama drama, and that's under control. I feel like
- 57:53Speaker 1: he's cheating on me. And here's the line that really
- 57:59Speaker 1: makes this a difference. I feel like he's cheating on me.
- 58:03Speaker 1: And I'm pretty sure I heard him having sex with
- 58:10Speaker 1: another woman. God, dog, now, dog, that's Rale right there,
- 58:18Speaker 1: that's Rale when they I'm pretty sure I heard him
- 58:24Speaker 1: having sex. So that means there's some evidence. Not I
- 58:28Speaker 1: think he's having another fan. I think he's seeing someone.
- 58:33Speaker 1: She says specifically, I think I heard him having sex. Boy,
- 58:39Speaker 1: This is just getting scary right here. So he picked
- 58:43Speaker 1: you up from work on Tuesday. Then y'all stopped to
- 58:46Speaker 1: have a glass of wine for y'all got home. He
- 58:49Speaker 1: ignored you the whole time and kept watching something on
- 58:53Speaker 1: his phone. We got back in the car, he plugged
- 59:00Speaker 1: his phone up to charge it. Now, this is how
- 59:03Speaker 1: I know how dangerous this is, because I was riding
- 59:06Speaker 1: with my guide the other day in my truck that
- 59:09Speaker 1: I just got I gotta pick up, and I plugged
- 59:13Speaker 1: my phone in as loon. As I plugged my phone in,
- 59:16Speaker 1: everything was on the screen. Oh who I was talking to?
- 59:21Speaker 1: And everything now wasn't up to nothing. I'm in my
- 59:23Speaker 1: car with my drival and my stuff is on the screen.
- 59:26Speaker 1: And I said, ain't clip. Why is my stuff on
- 59:29Speaker 1: the screen? I said, Man, take that blue too far? Na, Boston,
- 59:34Speaker 1: ain't the blue too? But the hell you talking about?
- 59:36Speaker 1: He said, no, you got to cut your phone? He said, nah, man,
- 59:39Speaker 1: you got Then it's a switch on your phone that
- 59:43Speaker 1: that when it's plugged in, it allows your phone to
- 59:46Speaker 1: get ran into whatever system is plugged in. All right,
- 59:50Speaker 1: Coming up in twenty three minutes after, we'll have part
- 59:52Speaker 1: two of Steve's response coming up to the Strawberry letter.
- 59:56Speaker 1: The subject is I know what I heard. Okay, Hey,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: we'll get back into it right after this. You're listening,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: all right? Come on, Steve, Let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: The subject, I know what I heard. Now, let me
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: tell you about this letter. I've never been more disappointed,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: then proud, then disappointed again in a man as this
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: fool Hill. Let me just say this is dumb at
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: a whole new level. They have kids, they've been married,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: a while, she thanks to her husband's cheating because and
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: this is the fact she had. I'm pretty sure I
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: heard him having said, God, dog that that's some type
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: of direct ever this dog, So now we got some problem.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: Pick up to have some wine on Tuesday before they
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: got home, but he was ignoring her watching something on
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: his phone. We got back in the car, he plugged
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: his phone up to charge you, fellas. I want you
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: to understand that's new technology in these cars. When you
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: plug it up your car, your phone is now integrated
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: in the system that it is something on your phone
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: that you can go through to that you can disable
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: that feature on your phone, So it just doesn't automatically
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: adapt when it's plugged into whatever device. I just learned
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: this the other day by accident. I'm just sharing this information.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: But old dumbass didn't know that whatever he had been
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: watching at the ball was now playing in the car
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: and it was definitely a sex video and I and
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: I definitely heard his voice and a woman calling his name.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: He started sweating bullets, fumbling with his phone. I calmed
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: him down by laughing it off, but I was not
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: going to let him. So stupid ass was watching the
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: video so hard while his wife was there, your dumbass
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: that you ran your battery down, got in the car
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: to plug it up, busting. But now she played it
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: all and laughed it off. But she wasn't gonna let
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: it go now he knew that. So after she had
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: a shower, he was church quiet as church mouse all either.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: That's because he was busy doing what I needed him
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: to doted. He swears. I went to talk to him,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: he sweared, wasn't him on that video or whatever that
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: was that I heard? He handed over his phone. This
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: is why I got proud of this. Yes, I went
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: through the photos, the videos. I checked this internet such
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: hit streak, which she had already deleted, my dog. That's
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: why he was quiet as a church mount. That ain't quiet,
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: that's focused. That's concentration. Y Oh, that's commitment. I'm proud
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: of this boy. And I confront and I should have
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: confronted him sooner, because he had time to get his
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: sugar honey iced tea together, and he did just that.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: I was so proud of this man. I told him,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: let me keep his phone for twenty hours, twenty four hours.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: He said, there's no way that will ever happened. Nobody
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: is giving you their phone. No, not even the best
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: of me, not even the best of us, can't because
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: we have too much business. We have an empire that
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: could crumble. I'm while you play, you know, Detective Gadget
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: trying to hold on the research and all this here,
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: and they ain't no telling what You're gonna try to
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: plant in my phone to further blost to your argument,
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: and you're gonna create criminating evidence again. And I don't
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: know who you know? You could take my phone down
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: on your job and hell, your friends looking at the
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: phone all the sudden. I got emails discussing all this
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: money and all these deals, and you send upon going
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: through it, deleting and messing up information. There's no way
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: I can give you my phone. I know I heard
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: his voice and a freemail calling his name. If he
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: is in it, then why can't he give me the
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: phone for the day because of the bove reasons I
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: told him? And get this, he's put a pass code
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: on his phone. How to hell your stupid ass ain't
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: see that code. You're taking phones and going through stuff
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: and looking through history and all like this. Am I crazy?
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: Or is he up to something. Please advise advised. You
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: know what these ladies, I don't understand how you know
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: what's going on, but you want us to advise. Advise
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: you on what you heard him? You know it's voice. Yeah,
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: I'm not telling her to leave them. That's you and
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: that's something. I don't care what you do. Let you
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: know what the hell you heard? That's him. You got
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: the facts, that's right. And who ain't got no damn
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: history on their phone? It's just joone. Yeah. Now, could
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: I give you my phone? Yes? I could, but I'm
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: gonna need to take that SIM card, all the SIM
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: card because I don't even know how to raise nothing. Yeah,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: next question, Can I give you my phone? No? I can't,
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: but I am willing to buy you a brand new phone.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: What's wrong with you? Oh, I'm gonna turn around into
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: some good will baby. I know you really wanted the phone,
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: and I know how you in my mind, so I
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: bought you a newer gratulation. It's all paid for. I'll
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: put the Verizon on there in everything. Thank you, baby, No,
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: thank you Steve and the baby. You're welcome. Time for
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: you to leave your comments on Today's Strawberry letter on
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: Instagram and Steve Harvey FM. Please check out the Strawberry
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: Letter podcast on demand as well. Coming up next, it
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: is Junior and Sports Talk. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: to Morning show. All right, it is time now for
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: Junior and Sports Talk. What you got Junior? WHOA to
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Shaun Watson? Okay man? All right? Early this week, Shaun
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: Watson had received his suspension from the judge for six games. Well,
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: the NFL is appealing that ruling for the Shawn Watson
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: and he's saying that, hey, we're gonna find another suspension.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: Now they had the judge now here. Roger Goodell now
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: has the power to either send out a new suspension
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: or he can pick somebody else to give a new suspension.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: So we have to see what's gonna happen. Now. I
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: have several questions about this, and these are questions that
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: I would like to pose to the general public. I
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: feel as though the NFL is doing this out of
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: pure hypocrisy because they asked this judge to rule, and
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: everybody said they ruled. Now, that Collective Players Association Agreement
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: in NFL also says that Roger Goodell can have the
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: final say of any ruling from outside independent sources because
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: he's a commissioner of the NFL. Here's a problem with
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: this story that's starting to smell a little bit fishy.
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: First of all, I'm all for women who are victims.
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: I'm all for that. I've always been a proponent for women,
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: and I have daughters and I would never feel any
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: other way. The thing about this that's starting to smell
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: a little bit fishy is, first of all, Deshaun Washington
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: was found of no criminal wrongdoing by two grand juries,
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: so therefore you can't bring charges on him, and nobody
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: presented any evidence of any criminal activity. Were some people offended,
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: probably so? Or some people appalled with his actions and behavior, probably,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: but none of it was proven or suggested to be criminal.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: So now when you come down with a six game
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: suspension with no pay, and other players have done far worse,
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: the Ray Rice is than Antonio Brown's, the being Roslingburgers
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: and you know and so and being Rothslingburger did way
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: worse and got a two game suspension, So now what
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: else do they want from this guy? Also, these victims
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: have taken settlement checks from the Texas and taken settlement
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: checks from Deshaun vas so two settlement checks. Well, absolutely,
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: let me explain something to you. If you rape a woman,
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: I know you can't give me nothing except your ass.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: I'm coming for you. I want your time, i want
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: your money, I want to peace of you. I'm not
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: taking no check for mine. So now we all know
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: that was no rate committed, but that was inappropriate right
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: behavior behavior. I think this is adequate for inappropriate behavior.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: A young man should learn his lesson. But you can't
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: take a man's life from me from a mistake. Now,
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: all right, we gotta go. Thanks Junior. All right, coming
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, we'll have more
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this. You're
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show. A man in
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: Maryland who wants to remain anonymous, discovered a forgotten lottery
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: ticket that was tucked away in his car's glove compartment,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: and it ended up being worth thirty thousand dollars. What
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: tell do you lose? That? The man works as a
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: dump truck driver and said that he has a habit
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: of buying lottery tickets and stashing them in his glove compartment.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: He cashed in the ticket and he plans to put
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: money towards his retirement, and it's always nice to find
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: a little extra money, don't you think, But thirty k
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: that's a lot. So my question is, have any of
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: you ever found a large sum of money that you
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: forgot all about? A Yeah? Anyone? Two hundred dollars in
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: my cleaners? Oh okay, that was nice. Yeah, yeah it is. Yeah,
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: not as big as I hadn't left. Yeah, twenty eight
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: hundred three thousand I ran across the oh nice, hey,
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: yeah hundred. I never forget that cash. Cash, oh cash,
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: twenty eight hundred dollars where you find in your pants?
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: Actually in my closet, But I think I think I
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: hid it from Jackie. Got that you did? All right?
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: Come on, big dog? What you got you find? Yeah?
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: I ain't never found no money before. I've learned not
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: to say this around y'all before Rick me, I don't
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: try to. I don't try to al fuzzy. Uh. This
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: is a segment on the r for us when well,
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: you know, I found fifty dollars one time, yeah, something
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: way more than fift it up. I ain't never seen
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: you carry a fifty junior found, so you'll get it back.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: I found a check in my suit pocket. Yeah, and
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: it was months after I had received the check money. Yeah,
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: and it was it was a seven figure checks and work. Yeah,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: you're right, seven checks have a time like a hundred
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: day to days. You got a cash because I know
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: I got to cash. They do. So you made it
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: in time. You found it in time the deadline. I wouldn't.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: I wouldn't. I wasn't even looking for So let's back
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: up because we kind of seven figures. We won't let
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: that marinade, not six figures. You found figure check in
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: your pants pocket? No, in the soup pocket, tops poet. Yeah,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: I don't put money in my pants and come through
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: that and get all your suits and I'm at the cleaner.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: You're cleaner stuff from now. I have like an old
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: tux sedo when I was going to Vegas I had
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: worn in a while. Yeah, And I keep my money
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: in my top pocket on both sides so I could
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: just reach in when I'm gambling without making a big
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: deal out of it. I keep half my money on
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: each side of my chest pocket. I found about fifteen
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: out in my breast pockets. How rich issue because I
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: keep thinking the dog, because I know I put my
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: if I take my clothes off, all my money is
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: where I can see it. I got to see all
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: my money. I'm talking about the cards and the can
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: It may not be some money and the little money
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: I'm making. I needs to see it now. You leave
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: it in your jacket. What but a seven figure check
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: figure chest like winning the lottery? Seven figures at your
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: own house? Yeah? So do you even we need to
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: go get his suits. I'm telling you what else you're
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: gonna find it. I hadn't locked up two hundred dollars
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: in my room, and that's safe. I didn't put the
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: two hundreds in there and put my car and not
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: mad I'm not telling he got fifteen junior, all right? Seven?
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: All right? Well, congratulations. I don't know what to say
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: to that. Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour,
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, nephew.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: The new season Are Ready to Love kicked off last Friday,
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: followed by The Bell Collective on own Well tonight. They
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: are all new episodes starting at eight pm Eastern and Tommy,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: one of the guys, was sent home last week, but
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: the two females that were up for elimination were spared.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: So what can we expect tonight? Oh oh oh oh,
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: you only get spared for a short period of time.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: Oh time, it's coming. It's only for a short period
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: of time, trust me. When we pop on a night,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: somebody going home? So look, okay, yes, you know, I
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: just I just feel so sorry for the person that
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: that the first person to go. Yeah, yeah, did you
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: feel you didn't really get that that good shot? Good chance?
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: But they say first impression everything, and if you if
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: you clammed up and not being open, not talking hey,
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: or talking too much and doing you know, hello. Yeah.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: But but this is what what I want to ask you,
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: because this is what we love Carlo. We love the crazy. Hey.
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: But can I ask a question though about ready to
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: love though? Yeah, let's honestly speaking. Is that anybody been
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: on that that you thought was really really top notch
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: and he was really pulling form? Yeah, it ain't no lot, now, y'all,
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: let's stop this lot ain't no lot, but it's gotta
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: be because a couple of times I have tuned in,
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: a couple of them been just straight crazy, and that's
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: what we like yeah, and we're ready for it. All
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: that love and all that crazy all right, it's some
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: love there too. We'll be watching tonight, Tommy. We'll have
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: thirty three minutes after we'll play a round of would
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: you rather? Right after this you're listening Morning show, it
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: is time now for a round of would you rather?
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: Let's just get it cracking? Would you rather add five
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: inches below? Or would you rather add an extra two
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: million dollars to your bank account? You give me that
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: two million five You made it really ten inches, to
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: be honest, if you do the right kind of math.
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: I need money, all right. Would you rather get a
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: prostate exam? Or would you rather attend a spoken word
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: poetry show? Say what I'm in here snapping poetry? Would
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: you rather? Would you rather go to a spoken word?
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: You know whether it do the poetry spoken word? Or
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: would you rather get a prostate exam? Spoken word? I'm
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: not put a p again. So here we are asking
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: a country plate whether to be here or go take
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: a prostate. I decided to come and do my pawns
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: because I don't really like what the hell be going
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: on I've had prostates done to me over and over again,
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: and I'm here to tell you I ain't got no
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: problem standing up here saying what I'm saying. You know,
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: there are days when I wish I didn't have to go,
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: but at my age, it's best that I go because
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: I need to know. Prostate exams may not be fun,
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: they are necessary and they get the job done. But
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: or if you ask me, if I had a choice,
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: I'd rather be standing up here. Let it all, y'all
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: hear my voice now that I railed it. Would you
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: rather run one mile in a thunderstorm or swim naked
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: in a public pool? We know what Tommy's answer is,
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: Oh I'm in that pool. Yeah, I'm not running in
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: no thunderstorm. Oh yeah, just one mile in a thunderstorm?
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: What do you mean just one mile that somebody ain't
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: naked in a public pool. They're both very high risk.
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: Just one man, I'm nacking in that pool. I'm talking
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: about doing the back stroke, run all right in everything
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: as their feet down, last alight, dancing, last one. Would
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: you rather take your mate fishing or take your mate
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: golfing fishing? Now the golf fishing I taught Marjie how
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: to fish. She's actually pretty good fisherman, as she's self
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: sufficient most of the time. All right, coming up, it
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: is the last break of the day, and of course
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: we'll have some closing remarks from the one and only
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: Steve Harvey at forty nine minutes after the hour right
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: after this you're listening show. All right, guys, here we are,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: last break of the day on this Friday. It's been
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: a good Friday. It's gonna be great well, and thank
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: everybody for buying the invest Fest tickets. Earn your Leisure
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: invest Fest this weekend at the George World Congress Center.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: It's sold out. Um, maybe next time and you'll be
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: on time and it's gonna be a great event. Look
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: forward to seeing y'all out that Saturday. Tyler, what is
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: it again? It's on Sunday. Earn Your Leisure's invest Fest.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: Confidence teaches you all about investing and earning your leisure,
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: how to make enough that you can earn your lea wow.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: And you'll be speaking on Thursday at three pm. I mean,
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: excuse me, Saturday at three pm. Tyler Perry speaks on Sunday. Charlemagne,
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: the god is that every cross is that it's gonna
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: be dope. Man, I'm gonna go in early, walk around,
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: speak to people. Let's close out, y'all, let's do some
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: questions for junior. Okay, yeah, you still do. You still
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: get nervous the same way when you motivational speaking then
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: you do when you do a comedy. Oh no, oh,
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: oh god. No, it's nowhere near the same nervousness. No, no,
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: nothing compared to that. No. The pressure to be funny,
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: pressure to be funny is way more relented. You know,
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: I'm having a conversation, I have five side chest. People
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: ask me questions. You know, I'm pretty well versed at
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: what I think, so you know, I don't sign them
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: for none. They're not asking me equations and nothing. So
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: but you know what, Steve that I remember asking you
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: that a long time ago, and you me that you've
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: got nervous. And that was a big shocker to me.
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: It really was, and it helped me because it was like,
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: if someone like you gets nervous, it's okay that I
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: get nervous. You just have to know how to use
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: that nervous in you know what, I know people who
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: don't get nervous and it shows and it reflects in
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: their performance, and it reflects in their career. All the
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: great I know before they go out, because it's anxiety
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: because you don't know, especially if you've been in this
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: long enough, you've had it not go well. If you've
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: been in this business, you've had it not go well. Yeah,
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: and that fear never leaves you, that memory never goes away,
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: and so the anxiety of it could happen because when
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: they don't go well, it's a shocker because you out
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: that trying for it to go well and it just don't,
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: and you make a couple of bad moves out that
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: a couple of wrong turns. The next thing, you know, man,
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: you said it's going the other way. And then I
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: didn't have the skill, setting, the wherewithal, the knowledge to
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: turn it around, and it just went to a dark place.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: And then sometimes I would do measures out there that
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: I thought would turn it around and it backfire. So
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: you learned comedy is a series of don't. It's about
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: two hundred and fifty don't you have to learn. Once
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: you learned that don't, you could pretty much do anything,
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: but you got to learn them don't. Like what's a
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: don't for a comedian, don't ever on the front row
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: assume that a woman is pregnant and mentioned it. Oh,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: don't ever do that? Why was that A don't? Because
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: because I'm telling I've done it. I assumed the woman
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: was pregnant. I commented on her. I told her she
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: was glowing, she looked beautiful. She said, I'm not pregnant,
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: and I'm junior. Have you done it? Yes, sir, I'm
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: telling you, you just don't do it. Don't mention pregnancy.
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: If they don't bring it up on family feud, I
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: don't bring it up. I don't give a damn if
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: you got a name tag on your stomach, I don't
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: mention it. I don't mention it, man, because this women
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: that come on family few that are pregnant, and they don't.
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: You know, most of them put their little baby name
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: on their stomach too, right, But sometimes they don't. And
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: when they don't, I don't mention it. I sit there
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: and act like your stomach ain't on top of that
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: or desk. I swear to God, I'm not gonna say nothing.
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: And the lady just just this Seesar said, Steve, you're
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: not gonna ask me how many months I am I said,
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: how many months? You is? What? He said, pregnant? I said,
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: what are you saying? She said, I know, you see
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: my stomach. I'm expecting this is my first child. I said, oh, congratulations,
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: I had noticed that. She said, I know, well you
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: saw my stomach big as it is. Yes, I did,
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: but I'm trained. Not no way what I think that
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: would ever be a dun't for all the all the
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: sign ankles falling out, the shoes, everything. H she could
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: have the baby on stage? Yeah, what's another dun't, Steve,
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: These are good, that's good. What's another one? Good? Uh?
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: The C word? You cannot use the C word in comedy.
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: The C word, you cannot use that word ever in comedy.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: It's death. It is death. I've seen it repeated, death,
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: over and over and over. I've never used that. That
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: was never my problem. But I've seen a lot of
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: white acts do it, and yeah, that's not where you go.
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: What about the N word? Then? What about the N word?
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: I mean, I know you can say it because people
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: say it, but because it's yeah, well me, I've never
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: used the N word or stage in my entire career,
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: not in real life, I use it. I can't thank
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: on the day you call me on this morning for
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: we started. You didn't hear that talk to myself when
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: I'm in the mirror. I said it in the mirror.
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: I'm just being real with you. You know, when they
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: had that movement where we're not saying the inn word anymore,
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: I never signed up for that because it's a term
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: of endearment for me on the leg. I know a
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: lot of black people disagree with that. I'm just being honest. Now,
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: I've never said it on stage. You can't get a
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: tape of me anywhere on stage sing in a talk
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: a comedy routine. I accidentally said it one night in
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: a comedy club and then on pastle Texas, and I
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: was sick. I was, But I've never said it on
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: stage in a come you can go to all my specials.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: It ain't in now, not nowhere. Hey, y'all, y'all have
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: a great weekend. Talk to God. He loved to hear
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: from you. Man. We out of here. Fried to y'all
