World Water Prayer in Schoharie County
On August 8, 2026, the Waterfall Unity Alliance in Schoharie County held an interfaith Water Prayer that brought water protectors from numerous First Nations together. Here, the Panther Creek - a tributary of the Schoharie Creek and Mohawk River - is threatened by a proposed fracked gas pipeline, as is the Upper Susquehanna watershed.
