- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all have a giving them like the million
- 0:16Speaker 1: buck things in it to me true goods to the
- 0:26Speaker 1: other for I don't join Jo. You gotta use that
- 1:01Speaker 1: turning you are you gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn you love, got to turn them out, then turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water go. Come, come on your thing.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I so well a good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, Come on dig me now, one and only,
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, I got a radio show. Somebody sent me
- 2:14Speaker 1: an email one day that, you know, kind of a
- 2:17Speaker 1: nasty little email, you know, I think I said it
- 2:20Speaker 1: wants to before Steve Harvey trying to be a preacher. Man,
- 2:23Speaker 1: I'm so far from being a preacher. Man, I can't
- 2:25Speaker 1: even tell you. But what I am trying to do
- 2:29Speaker 1: is share information. I understand how haters work, and I
- 2:32Speaker 1: understand how the devil works. Believe me, I do you know?
- 2:38Speaker 1: Sometimes even heat the devil surprises me at the level
- 2:45Speaker 1: and the angles of attack they use, you know which,
- 2:48Speaker 1: I go, wow, man, I didn't I didn't see that one.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Oh that was pretty slick. I gotta get credit on
- 2:53Speaker 1: that we try to get me, but every time you
- 2:55Speaker 1: try to get me, I get saved. I get saved
- 2:59Speaker 1: every time, man, because because God got me, God got
- 3:05Speaker 1: some angels camped around me. That's what my mom used
- 3:09Speaker 1: to always say as Sunday school teacher. Never really understood it,
- 3:11Speaker 1: but you know when I was growing up as a kid,
- 3:14Speaker 1: but I got it. Now, he got some angels around me.
- 3:17Speaker 1: And angels come into form sometimes with people, people who
- 3:21Speaker 1: pull your coat to this, or introduce you to that,
- 3:24Speaker 1: or reveal some information to you like this. He got
- 3:27Speaker 1: them all around me. So see, having a relationship with
- 3:32Speaker 1: God has been beneficial to me, y'all. It's not just
- 3:36Speaker 1: that what he gives to me, but what he protects
- 3:42Speaker 1: me from. And you know, some some people wonder, well,
- 3:47Speaker 1: if you were God, why he letting people do that
- 3:49Speaker 1: to you. Now, that's not how it works. See, there's
- 3:52Speaker 1: two forces in this world, as good and as evil.
- 3:56Speaker 1: And if you succumb to good, that's what you become,
- 3:58Speaker 1: that's what you do. But everybody don't succumb to good.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Some people succumb to evil. Some people's mission is to hate,
- 4:05Speaker 1: to destroy, to tear down, and so that forces at
- 4:10Speaker 1: work in this world too, and when that force comes
- 4:12Speaker 1: up against me. What God never promised me that I
- 4:16Speaker 1: wouldn't see none of that, that I wouldn't see the attacks,
- 4:21Speaker 1: that I would not come under fire, that I would
- 4:23Speaker 1: not be falsely accused. He didn't say that. A matter
- 4:25Speaker 1: of fact, he for warned me that it would happen.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Or what he does give me in those moments on
- 4:32Speaker 1: moments of comfort in peace, knowing that He's with me,
- 4:36Speaker 1: and no, no matter what my enemy does to bring
- 4:39Speaker 1: me down, it ain't gonna work. It ain't gonna work.
- 4:42Speaker 1: So come if you want to fight, if you will,
- 4:45Speaker 1: I have a man that has been attacking me since
- 4:51Speaker 1: I owned the comedy club in Dallas. He has been
- 4:55Speaker 1: on a mission and that if I don't give him
- 5:00Speaker 1: five million dollars, he gonna do it. He didn't done everything, man,
- 5:04Speaker 1: he has done everything. Now he've messed around and got
- 5:08Speaker 1: itself now claiming in his letters physically ill and his
- 5:13Speaker 1: illnesses and what's befalling his family. He's blaming that on
- 5:18Speaker 1: me too. As Steve Harvey not stressed me out and
- 5:22Speaker 1: paid me this money he owed me, we were you
- 5:25Speaker 1: coming with this, He just has kept on it on,
- 5:28Speaker 1: it on, and you know what. He the messed around,
- 5:31Speaker 1: got itself sick. He'n messed around, man, got himself in
- 5:35Speaker 1: some situation. And can I tell you something. It's been
- 5:38Speaker 1: going on since nine teen, maybe ninety seven. He started
- 5:48Speaker 1: the attack when I first went on, No before that,
- 5:53Speaker 1: probably ninety five. He started the attacks in ninety five,
- 5:58Speaker 1: every nine and he even got six lawyers. All the
- 6:02Speaker 1: lawyers didn't drop the case. After they come in and
- 6:05Speaker 1: they discover the fact. But he steady trying. But it's
- 6:09Speaker 1: too angels that's around. And I forewarned him several times. Man,
- 6:14Speaker 1: and man, if I was you, I go head on
- 6:15Speaker 1: because what I'm not gonna do is being because see,
- 6:18Speaker 1: you cannot break me because I happened to be a
- 6:22Speaker 1: soldier for Christ. I happened to be an imperfect soldier
- 6:27Speaker 1: or Christ as nothing, Man as nothing. And oh it
- 6:32Speaker 1: ain't like a bunch of people and tried. Now, Oh
- 6:34Speaker 1: y'all all been on YouTube, y'all been on the internet.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Oh they didn't try. Oh they didn't put some dirt
- 6:40Speaker 1: on me. Man, that ain't true. But if you keep
- 6:43Speaker 1: looking at me though, and I'm not the prize, but
- 6:47Speaker 1: if you put your eyes on God, it's where you go,
- 6:49Speaker 1: but if you look at me, He's covered me through
- 6:51Speaker 1: it all. And that's been the importance of the relationship
- 6:54Speaker 1: I formed with God, is that I know that I'm
- 6:58Speaker 1: under his wings, that I'm ever under his ever loving protection,
- 7:03Speaker 1: that he got me. And I just wanted to share
- 7:06Speaker 1: that with you that if you got If you're looking
- 7:09Speaker 1: for some protection, if you're looking for a way to
- 7:13Speaker 1: have the strength to get through what you're going through,
- 7:16Speaker 1: get some God man. If if you want to weigh out,
- 7:21Speaker 1: get some god man. If you've been gangbanging and you're
- 7:24Speaker 1: sick of gangbanging, get you some god man. If you're
- 7:27Speaker 1: tired of being on drugs and you're tied to drinking,
- 7:30Speaker 1: get you some god man. If you're tied to being
- 7:33Speaker 1: If you're sick and tired of being sick and tired,
- 7:36Speaker 1: get you some god man. I'm just telling you now.
- 7:39Speaker 1: If you're trying to make your dreams come true and
- 7:42Speaker 1: it looked like you ain't gonna make it, and you
- 7:44Speaker 1: still believe that that's for you, get you some god man.
- 7:47Speaker 1: If you're setting a new gold dream of aspiration and
- 7:50Speaker 1: you're trying to get that and you're gonna start out today,
- 7:53Speaker 1: get you some God. Man. I'm just telling you. I'm
- 7:56Speaker 1: just telling you. See it's real what I'm saying. Man,
- 7:59Speaker 1: I ain't on faith. Dude, with it. You understand. I'm
- 8:01Speaker 1: just telling you real. Get you some God, man, and
- 8:05Speaker 1: be patient, have faith, believe, don't doubt, but Lord have mercy.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Get ready to work your tail off. Did you hear me?
- 8:16Speaker 1: Get you some faith, Believe, don't doubt, and get ready
- 8:21Speaker 1: to work your tail off. God can't blessing you. See
- 8:26Speaker 1: a lot of times we go to God asking for
- 8:28Speaker 1: prayers and stuff, but we go to him and we
- 8:31Speaker 1: don't give nothing. God nothing to bless We won't blessings,
- 8:34Speaker 1: but we don't give him nothing to bless. You make
- 8:36Speaker 1: one step, he'll make two. You start, he'll finish you come,
- 8:45Speaker 1: He'll go you dream it, He'll build you started, He'll finish.
- 8:56Speaker 1: See you see you trying everything your way. I'm gonna

- 9:21Speaker 1: you have spent trying to get to twenty three hundred?

- 22:23Speaker 1: to do. Okay, I can be there around nine, but
- 22:26Speaker 1: then we have to leave about four. Well, I'll tell
- 22:28Speaker 1: you what. We'll see what we can how we can
- 22:30Speaker 1: work it out, but we definitely want you to come
- 22:32Speaker 1: and be a part of what we're doing. So what
- 22:34Speaker 1: is it that you really need be to do? Well? Actually,
- 22:36Speaker 1: you know, we we we got a lot of people
- 22:38Speaker 1: doing different things at the you know, at the auction,
- 22:41Speaker 1: you know, so we just want you to come out
- 22:42Speaker 1: and be of some help with everything that's going on. Okay, Well,
- 22:45Speaker 1: I want to be prepared. So what exactly do I
- 22:48Speaker 1: need to do? Work the concessions stand something like that. No, really,
- 22:51Speaker 1: what we had is actually you being a part of
- 22:54Speaker 1: the auction of being a part of the auction such as, well,
- 22:59Speaker 1: what we're doing tomorrow is we have already we already
- 23:02Speaker 1: have fifty people who are signed up and you would
- 23:04Speaker 1: be you know, one of those people that are that
- 23:07Speaker 1: are that are signed up to do the actual What
- 23:09Speaker 1: is is we're having slaves for a day and what
- 23:13Speaker 1: we're gonna be doing is auctioning you off and somebody's
- 23:15Speaker 1: gonna buy you tomorrow and you will be the for
- 23:18Speaker 1: the day slaves. Yeah, you will be the slave for
- 23:22Speaker 1: the day. That's what That's what we've decided to do
- 23:24Speaker 1: with the Black history. We decided I didn't mean I
- 23:27Speaker 1: don't I want to participate, but being a slave no, okay,
- 23:32Speaker 1: But see what you what I want you to understand
- 23:35Speaker 1: that this is a word that calls though you know,
- 23:37Speaker 1: we want were the call, but I'm not gonna be
- 23:39Speaker 1: no play. Well well you I mean you don't have
- 23:42Speaker 1: to call it a slave. I mean as a servant,
- 23:44Speaker 1: you know, a butler. You know what I mean when
- 23:46Speaker 1: you want to call it, I'm no slave. Okay, Okay,
- 23:52Speaker 1: man man, Miss miss Glenna. What I'm trying to explain
- 23:54Speaker 1: to you this is a word to call for the
- 23:56Speaker 1: Black history and we're trying to get you to be there.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Somebody may buy you for five hundred dollars tomorrow. No,
- 24:02Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do it, okay, are you? Are you?
- 24:05Speaker 1: Are you turning us down for a word and calls
- 24:08Speaker 1: mister Glynn, Yes, I am turning your down. Don't call
- 24:11Speaker 1: me with that kind of no more. I mean, I
- 24:13Speaker 1: don't understand what what the problem is. You know, sometimes
- 24:16Speaker 1: we got to repeat history, so we don't go back
- 24:18Speaker 1: to the history. Sometimes we got to do it again
- 24:20Speaker 1: so we don't go back to what you understand. But
- 24:23Speaker 1: it isn't seem like you you acting like a housene
- 24:26Speaker 1: grow or something like you two up at your housene
- 24:28Speaker 1: grow housene grow. Who's the chairman of this? Excuse me
- 24:33Speaker 1: the chairman? Last time I spoke with mister Wilson, and
- 24:37Speaker 1: we didn't have no like this, okay, and I understand that.
- 24:40Speaker 1: But what I'm trying to explain to you is this
- 24:41Speaker 1: is something that I don't want you to explain a
- 24:43Speaker 1: thing to me. Do not call me with this kind
- 24:46Speaker 1: of again. Are you gonna show up tomorrow so we
- 24:48Speaker 1: can sell you? Do you understand me? Are you gonna
- 24:51Speaker 1: show up tomorrow so we can sell you. We already have.
- 24:54Speaker 1: You're gonna say it. I mean we aren't all listed
- 24:56Speaker 1: to be sold tomorrow. Sayo, we've got you listed to
- 25:00Speaker 1: to be sold tomorrow, ma'am. Can we please make shoot
- 25:02Speaker 1: on be sold and you not call here again? Hey, listen,
- 25:06Speaker 1: if you don't show up tomorrow, then we will come
- 25:08Speaker 1: to your house and sell you there. Come too, if
- 25:13Speaker 1: I got to come out, you will come to my
- 25:15Speaker 1: house over here. If you want to listen, I will
- 25:18Speaker 1: come there to sell you. If you're not gonna come
- 25:20Speaker 1: out to the auction, come on to my house. You're bad.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Come on to my mouse. Okay, I'll tell you, and
- 25:25Speaker 1: you know what I need you to do this. You
- 25:27Speaker 1: need to start saying yes sir and no sir to
- 25:28Speaker 1: me right now. Okay, I need to get you in
- 25:31Speaker 1: the in the frame of mind just being a crave
- 25:33Speaker 1: for to day. Okay, I didn't hear what you said.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Kiss my black I'm coming to your house tomorrow and
- 25:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna sell you in front of your house. If
- 25:43Speaker 1: you want to come down to the auction tomorrow morning
- 25:45Speaker 1: nine o'clock, you better not bring you my house. Do
- 25:49Speaker 1: you better not? Do you understand me? I had a
- 25:52Speaker 1: March for civil Rights. I don't have time for no
- 25:55Speaker 1: like that. And we got a black man for president.
- 25:59Speaker 1: You I understand, we got a black man for president,
- 26:02Speaker 1: but right now we're trying to raise some money for
- 26:04Speaker 1: black history and we need to sell you tomorrow morning.
- 26:07Speaker 1: You're not gonna sell me. You're not gonna sell me.
- 26:10Speaker 1: You don't call my host no more? Do you understand?
- 26:12Speaker 1: Do not call? I understand exactly what you're saying. Can
- 26:16Speaker 1: I tell you something else? Who else gonna be sold tomorrow?
- 26:18Speaker 1: Tell now? Don't tell me. I got one more thing
- 26:22Speaker 1: I do need to tell you. What is it? That
- 26:25Speaker 1: is nephew Timmy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You
- 26:28Speaker 1: just got pranked by your sisters. My sister, my sister.
- 26:36Speaker 1: I can't believe that I'm gonna get Huh. I can't
- 26:41Speaker 1: believe you to did clemda? You all right? Oh all right?
- 26:47Speaker 1: This is so crazy. I can't believe it. I'm gonna
- 26:53Speaker 1: I'm for this. It doesn't sound like you're gonna get stold.
- 26:58Speaker 1: No way. Hey, no, you wouldn't getting on this auction block. Huh, No,
- 27:04Speaker 1: no way, because Misslenders have been there. I've been at
- 27:08Speaker 1: the city end the marches. I've done some of everything. Man. Well,
- 27:12Speaker 1: I tell you what, Missus Glendon, if it wasn't for
- 27:14Speaker 1: people like you, we probably wouldn't be where we are today.
- 27:16Speaker 1: That's right. We showed. Thank you, We showed thinking. I
- 27:19Speaker 1: just wanted to play a joke. And did I get you? Yes?
- 27:22Speaker 1: You did you? Sure? Indeed I got one more. I
- 27:27Speaker 1: got one more thing to ask you. What is what
- 27:29Speaker 1: is the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show
- 27:32Speaker 1: in the land, The Steve Harvey Morning showed that the
- 27:36Speaker 1: nephew Tommy. We love you, missus Glendon, Okay, love you too.
- 27:42Speaker 1: That is, we need you to be a slave. You
- 27:45Speaker 1: know something, man, that's like I wish, I really do
- 27:51Speaker 1: wish somebody would call me with something like that. That's
- 27:54Speaker 1: the same thing LI said in the prank. I wish
- 27:58Speaker 1: I would somebody would call me with with with that
- 28:04Speaker 1: and and and y'all just catch it on tape. Now
- 28:06Speaker 1: we're probably gonna be able to add but I wish. Well,
- 28:12Speaker 1: let's try. Let's see here, try what Let's just try. Hey,
- 28:15Speaker 1: it was mister Harvey. Hello, mister mister Harvey. Hello, Hey,
- 28:20Speaker 1: how are you doing. My name is Todd. It's Black
- 28:22Speaker 1: History Month, we like to understand. Excuse me, excuse you
- 28:24Speaker 1: want to second Todd? Yes you you sound white? Yeah, yeah,
- 28:30Speaker 1: I just want to ask you a question. Um, it's
- 28:32Speaker 1: Black History Month. We just want to miss Harve. We
- 28:34Speaker 1: can just pay you a little bit of money for
- 28:36Speaker 1: you to be a slave for day. Hey, Tom, let
- 28:40Speaker 1: me ask you a couple of course. First of all,
- 28:42Speaker 1: where do you live, Todd? In your neighborhood? A little
- 28:44Speaker 1: around the corner and a problem. Just give me an
- 28:47Speaker 1: address so I can come around there and something for
- 28:50Speaker 1: you go coming up entertainment and national news right after this.
- 29:01Speaker 1: You're listening In today's entertainment news, hip hop artist Applies
- 29:09Speaker 1: says he's ready to give the COVID vaccine. He's ready
- 29:12Speaker 1: to get it a sap. His logic is pretty simple,
- 29:16Speaker 1: and he tweeted, I put things in my body every day.
- 29:18Speaker 1: I don't know where it came from. If I trusted
- 29:21Speaker 1: the weed man who I didn't know, ate food from
- 29:23Speaker 1: the truck outside the club and drank Hennessee and red
- 29:26Speaker 1: Bull and survived, I should be straight. Yeah, you know, yes,
- 29:36Speaker 1: just attitude sometimes hood logic, It just works, man. I
- 29:42Speaker 1: mean I'm really technically I'm winning because Kate, hear you
- 29:48Speaker 1: the stuff I've ingested, yea on purpose or it just
- 29:55Speaker 1: meds from the doctor. Here, we are some of the
- 29:59Speaker 1: food hitless. If you eat chitness, you out of line.
- 30:04Speaker 1: I'm just gonna tell you, I don't even know what
- 30:08Speaker 1: the nutritional value is for chitness. It then it's not lean.
- 30:14Speaker 1: It don't look like proteins. It don't strike me as
- 30:18Speaker 1: a veggie. It doesn't come across that star. But chi man,
- 30:25Speaker 1: I don't even know what food group. It ain't meat,
- 30:29Speaker 1: So I don't even know what food group it is.
- 30:32Speaker 1: So you're with clies, all right, all right, yeah with
- 30:37Speaker 1: his new teeth, new attitude, right, yeah, all right, another entertainment.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Knew Steve Rihanna send a message that pretty much said
- 30:45Speaker 1: Happy Black History Month to everyone but Kentucky Attorney General
- 30:49Speaker 1: Daniel Cameron. Rihanna called out cameeron in his response to
- 30:53Speaker 1: his video tweets celebrating Black History Month. He said, today
- 30:57Speaker 1: marks the first day of Black History Month. This month,
- 31:00Speaker 1: let's take time to remember and celebrate the contributions of
- 31:03Speaker 1: black men and women have made to our commonwealth and
- 31:07Speaker 1: to our nation. Well, Rihanna replied to the Kentucky Attorney
- 31:12Speaker 1: General tweet to remind him how he failed Brianna Taylor
- 31:17Speaker 1: by simply retweeting with the message the caption sup in word,
- 31:23Speaker 1: sup in word, hashtag justice for Brianna Taylor and what's
- 31:32Speaker 1: this guy's name? Daniel Cameron? I want to ask Daniel
- 31:36Speaker 1: Cameron a direct question. Did you get permission from white
- 31:41Speaker 1: folks to do your tweet? Did you get permission from
- 31:46Speaker 1: the Republican Party to say this? Did you get permission
- 31:51Speaker 1: from who supports him? Is it Lindsey Graham or Mitch
- 31:54Speaker 1: McCom McConnell. Didn't Mitch McConnell tell you you could say
- 32:00Speaker 1: something about black history more? Your ass best to get
- 32:04Speaker 1: in line, man, Now you be down there. You was
- 32:08Speaker 1: in line with what they wanted by acquitting all those
- 32:11Speaker 1: police officers, because you could not possibly have heard the
- 32:17Speaker 1: story and knew the facts as we all heard and
- 32:19Speaker 1: knew it as a black person, and come to the
- 32:22Speaker 1: conclusion you came to, well, he did. He knew everything
- 32:26Speaker 1: without following the guidelines of your party and your mentor.
- 32:33Speaker 1: And you know what they're starting to kill me with.
- 32:35Speaker 1: There's a step stet out that more white people are
- 32:38Speaker 1: killed by police than black people. True statement. Do you
- 32:41Speaker 1: know what you don't know about that statement is we're
- 32:44Speaker 1: talking about killed, unjustifiably choked, shot in the back, shot
- 32:49Speaker 1: for no reason. That talking on the phone, paying live music,
- 32:55Speaker 1: walking your dog, knocking on the door and answering your
- 32:58Speaker 1: damn dog. That's how we your couch, Yeah, ice cream,
- 33:02Speaker 1: playing in a park. Yeah, yeah, ladies in general, miss true,
- 33:07Speaker 1: Thank you very much, everybody in good morning. The US
- 33:09Speaker 1: Senate voted fifty six to forty three yesterday to confirm
- 33:12Speaker 1: Alejandro Mayorkas to be the new head of Homeland Security.
- 33:16Speaker 1: In light of what happened January sixth, He made a promise,
- 33:19Speaker 1: I will do everything I can to ensure that the
- 33:22Speaker 1: tragic loss of life, the assault on law enforcement, the
- 33:26Speaker 1: desecration of the building that stands as one of the
- 33:29Speaker 1: three pillars of our democracy, the terror that you felt,
- 33:33Speaker 1: your colleagues, staff, and everyone present, will not happen again.
- 33:38Speaker 1: Majorcas is a former federal prosecutor, and he becomes the
- 33:41Speaker 1: first Latino and also the first immigrant, to lead that department. Meanwhile,
- 33:46Speaker 1: President Biden signed a series of executive orders yesterday aimed
- 33:48Speaker 1: at reversing some of the hardline immigration measures. Put in
- 33:51Speaker 1: place by the last administration. That includes putting a task
- 33:54Speaker 1: force together whose job it is going to reunite children
- 33:58Speaker 1: separated from their parents after the border. That seems like
- 34:01Speaker 1: that will be really a herculean tax to find the
- 34:03Speaker 1: parents and the children together. But they're going to have
- 34:06Speaker 1: put on something together to try to do that and
- 34:08Speaker 1: reunite these families. Donald Trump's brand new impeachment legal team
- 34:12Speaker 1: is now denying that the ex president, by the way,
- 34:14Speaker 1: had anything to do with last month's riot. In their
- 34:17Speaker 1: papers followed by yesterday's Noonday deadline, the attorneys argue that
- 34:20Speaker 1: the whole idea of an impeachment trial for a former
- 34:23Speaker 1: president is unconstitutional. Houses impeachment managers though their argument is
- 34:27Speaker 1: that they say that Trump, excuse me, bears unmistakable responsibility
- 34:32Speaker 1: for inciting the attack against the Congress, which left five
- 34:36Speaker 1: people dead, including a DC police officer named Brian Signek,
- 34:39Speaker 1: and their brief goes on to say that it is
- 34:41Speaker 1: impossible to imagine the events of January sixth occurring without
- 34:45Speaker 1: President Trump creating a powder keg, striking a match, and
- 34:48Speaker 1: seeking personal advantage from the ensuing habit. House managers say
- 34:52Speaker 1: that Trump should be convicted and barred from holding any
- 34:55Speaker 1: future federal office. By the way, Supreme Court Justice Clarence
- 34:58Speaker 1: Thomas's wife, Jinny just wanted to put this in went
- 35:00Speaker 1: on social media January six, expressing her love for the
- 35:03Speaker 1: rowdy pro Trump crowd just to that police officer signic
- 35:07Speaker 1: his body. By the way, he has been lying in
- 35:09Speaker 1: honor beneath the Capitol Building's historical tuna since last night.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Members of the Congress are to officially pay their respects
- 35:15Speaker 1: later today. The President, Biden and his wife went last
- 35:19Speaker 1: night to pay their personal respects. The website set up
- 35:21Speaker 1: in Brian's sis memory includes memorises from friends and colleagues,
- 35:26Speaker 1: like former officer Jason social Mill, who trained with him.
- 35:29Speaker 1: He's been one of those people in law enforcement who
- 35:33Speaker 1: are not in there for power, and they're not in
- 35:36Speaker 1: there for any other ulterior motive. He never wanted to
- 35:39Speaker 1: hurt anyone and wasn't very careful about that in training
- 35:42Speaker 1: as well. That he wasn't overly aggressive, but very much
- 35:46Speaker 1: the kind of police officer that every officer should aspire
- 35:50Speaker 1: to be. Sicknicalize in honorable day to day. He used
- 35:52Speaker 1: to be buried at Arlington National Cemetery now back to
- 35:55Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Mourning Show. You're listening Harvey Mourning Show
- 36:00Speaker 1: trending animal news to people for the Ethical Treatment of
- 36:03Speaker 1: Animals are at it again. Peter is asking people to
- 36:06Speaker 1: stop using language that denigrates or insults animals like filthy
- 36:12Speaker 1: pig or dirty rat, or using derogatory definitions of snakes
- 36:16Speaker 1: and dogs. Another example of this is when someone calls
- 36:19Speaker 1: you a chicken for being a coward. Are you freaking
- 36:21Speaker 1: kidding you right now? What is your punk ass gonna
- 36:24Speaker 1: be there? Let me tell you something, Peter, We're not
- 36:29Speaker 1: removing animal names to describe nothing. You stink like a skunk,
- 36:37Speaker 1: that's how you stink. Your ass is big as a cow.
- 36:42Speaker 1: That's what you are. The cows of beet, you know.
- 36:48Speaker 1: So we're not We're not changing that now. We're not
- 36:51Speaker 1: get you know, Peter always got it. We're gonna stop
- 36:54Speaker 1: using this. So I'm not gonna stop a damn thing,
- 36:57Speaker 1: matter fact, matter of fact, I just bought brand new
- 37:02Speaker 1: pair alligators shoes. Oh they're gonna get matching. Don't give
- 37:06Speaker 1: a damn what they're gonna do. Alligators killed kids. I
- 37:09Speaker 1: killed alligators where we at Saban didn't kill the alligators.
- 37:14Speaker 1: But yeah, you have I support the killing of alligators.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Peter got a problem with that. Yeah, Now what y'all
- 37:22Speaker 1: want to do? Peter need to go on and stop
- 37:24Speaker 1: all this here? Hey man, where is Peter when it
- 37:27Speaker 1: comes to black lives matter? Yeah, I don't want you
- 37:30Speaker 1: don't You don't hear them? But no, see that ain't
- 37:33Speaker 1: your call? Your calls animal lives matter? Well, damn it.
- 37:38Speaker 1: I eat animals and we love animals too. It's not
- 37:41Speaker 1: that we don't love. Yeah, I ain't crazy about animals.
- 37:44Speaker 1: I love chickens when they fry. Yeah, but I just
- 37:49Speaker 1: careful chickens walking around. I love my dog, my dogs. Family.
- 37:54Speaker 1: We don't need dogs, no, But everything else that's animal
- 37:57Speaker 1: you can't be. You can't be a family pet. Good
- 38:00Speaker 1: as steak is good. All right, Cows, you guys to go,
- 38:06Speaker 1: they're saying, instead of using the word rat, Peter suggests
- 38:10Speaker 1: you use the word uh snitch. I was saying, saying,
- 38:14Speaker 1: somebody's a rat. Yeah it's a rat. I got one
- 38:17Speaker 1: for you, Peter. Instead of using the word rat, how
- 38:21Speaker 1: about like four fathers instead of using the word thief.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Let's go with four fathers. Happy Black history. Yeah, understand
- 38:33Speaker 1: you know you don't want to use animal names no more.
- 38:36Speaker 1: If you if you want to use words like, oh,
- 38:39Speaker 1: what do they call somebody else? Yeah? You were Dolly.
- 38:44Speaker 1: What's the dude in a Kentucky sactly? What's his name?
- 38:50Speaker 1: Daniel Cameron? You are Daniel Camera? You are dirty, Daniel Camera.
- 38:57Speaker 1: Well let's go with that, all right, Hey, with Peter,
- 38:59Speaker 1: if you let us call it what it is, let's
- 39:02Speaker 1: call a spade a spade. WHOA We see your point
- 39:06Speaker 1: coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour, asked
- 39:08Speaker 1: the CLO. Right after this, you're listening to the Steve
- 39:12Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Time now for a quick round of
- 39:15Speaker 1: asked the CLO. Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in the building,
- 39:20Speaker 1: Are you ready, sir? Here we go? I know you are.
- 39:24Speaker 1: This is from Honey in Chicago. Hey, Honey in Chicago.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Honey says, I finally met a very handsome man that
- 39:31Speaker 1: is my age, and he has great conversation. The only
- 39:34Speaker 1: problem I have with him is that he curses in
- 39:37Speaker 1: every sentence. He's called me bro a few times and
- 39:43Speaker 1: I reminded him what my name is. I've been to
- 39:45Speaker 1: his house and met his eight year old son, and
- 39:48Speaker 1: he curses around him too, and affectionately calls him a
- 39:51Speaker 1: little in word. I know you brag about being a
- 39:54Speaker 1: good cusser, but I also know you don't do it
- 39:57Speaker 1: all of the time. How can I get him to
- 39:59Speaker 1: be more respectful in my presence? Well, it's a good one.
- 40:03Speaker 1: I like that one. Excuse me, I'm gonna have to
- 40:07Speaker 1: be a little bit honest. Hell yeah, come on. I well,
- 40:12Speaker 1: I do cuss most of the times, and I have
- 40:16Speaker 1: referred to my grandchildren that way too, and I have
- 40:19Speaker 1: been reprimanded by my wife. She told me, you can't
- 40:23Speaker 1: call him that. Well, you know, I try to just
- 40:25Speaker 1: bring him, you know, on into where I am. You know,
- 40:28Speaker 1: But I don't think that's good for the kids at
- 40:31Speaker 1: that age. I don't think you should do it at
- 40:33Speaker 1: the four, But when they are about ten, I think
- 40:35Speaker 1: it's okay. Oh, I don't really have a good answer
- 40:38Speaker 1: for her about this custom. Don't if you got a
- 40:40Speaker 1: good man, just going with a good man, ask him
- 40:43Speaker 1: to just be a little bit more respectful with you
- 40:45Speaker 1: around the language and just remind him of it. But
- 40:47Speaker 1: that's all. But don't throw him out the window, because
- 40:49Speaker 1: a lot of good people. Because she didn't say it
- 40:52Speaker 1: was good. She said it was very handsome. That is
- 40:55Speaker 1: her age. And he is a great conversation, well, any conversation,
- 40:58Speaker 1: any cussing, so obviously the message is coming through the custom.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Great conversation, I'll be dam yeah, yeah, all right. I
- 41:10Speaker 1: don't know what the answer to that one is, no answer,
- 41:13Speaker 1: just he's a very handsome man, your age, great conversation.
- 41:15Speaker 1: But he cuts a lot. He cuts, so what but
- 41:17Speaker 1: she doesn't like it? Okay, you know what. Ain't nobody
- 41:20Speaker 1: fin to check off all the blocks? Okay what? No
- 41:25Speaker 1: one's perfect. No, nobody checks off all the blocks. If
- 41:28Speaker 1: custom is all he doing, that's all it is. You
- 41:30Speaker 1: can fix that, work with him with it. Okay, all right,
- 41:33Speaker 1: all right, Well, don't get all Why are you all
- 41:35Speaker 1: tim calling yourself down, sugar honey? I Monique and for
- 41:45Speaker 1: ford Hood, Clo says, I'm a thirty year old single
- 41:48Speaker 1: mother and my my son thinks he's the man of
- 41:51Speaker 1: the house since his dad left us a year ago,
- 41:54Speaker 1: I've started dating again and hanging with my girls. Recently,
- 41:57Speaker 1: my girls and I did the bust of Challenge and
- 41:59Speaker 1: the Silhouett Challenge on TikTok and I posted my videos
- 42:02Speaker 1: on Instagram. My son is twelve and I don't allow
- 42:05Speaker 1: him to be on social media yet. But his dad
- 42:08Speaker 1: showed him my IG page and said terrible things about me.
- 42:11Speaker 1: Now my son thinks I'm a thought. His dad has
- 42:14Speaker 1: a big influence on him. How can I fix this? Okay,
- 42:18Speaker 1: hold on, what? Let me back up? She said she's thirty.
- 42:21Speaker 1: She's Thirty's son is twelve, so she had him at eighteen, right, Okay,
- 42:26Speaker 1: you do have to watch what you do as a mother. Yes,
- 42:31Speaker 1: I mean you're somebody's mother. I mean, at one point
- 42:34Speaker 1: in time, dad has to filter in. I think everybody
- 42:37Speaker 1: who's ever had a child will admit to you that
- 42:39Speaker 1: the moment they had the child, it changed everything in
- 42:42Speaker 1: their life. Yeah, and Monica, I'm the bust of challenge.
- 42:45Speaker 1: Her son tells her, you ain't busting nothing. You somebody's mother,
- 42:48Speaker 1: somebody a singer, Monica. Yeah, yeah, but you know, I mean,
- 42:51Speaker 1: come on, how can you not expect this boy to
- 42:55Speaker 1: feel it? He twelve? He going to school his mom
- 42:57Speaker 1: online doing the busted challenge. You ain't. You ain't in
- 43:01Speaker 1: the bust of challenge? Right? You somebody's mama, that's right?
- 43:06Speaker 1: And if it's embarrassing, I mean, I know the challenges
- 43:09Speaker 1: are fun, and you know you want to be young
- 43:11Speaker 1: and fresh. You're not old. But if the challenges are
- 43:14Speaker 1: going to embarrass you or your child, try it. All
- 43:19Speaker 1: the challenges ain't for you, right dad, And his dad
- 43:24Speaker 1: is the one that showed it to him and now
- 43:27Speaker 1: his son because of what is well, his dad is
- 43:29Speaker 1: wrong for that, very wrong, very wrong, out of order.
- 43:33Speaker 1: But but but but your dad can't show him nothing
- 43:36Speaker 1: that ain't there, right, So both of y'all wrong on
- 43:40Speaker 1: so many levels. Yeah, they need to fix their relationship
- 43:44Speaker 1: and how they're raising their son. You're absolutely right. And dad,
- 43:48Speaker 1: let me saying terrible things about your son's mother, all right, Steve, Wow,
- 43:55Speaker 1: Tasha told me I couldn't do none of them. Challenges
- 43:57Speaker 1: to sit down without hood. Coming up next, Junior is

- 47:06Speaker 1: like to cancel it at this planting time. Okay, but
- 47:09Speaker 1: I'm not. I'm not. I'm not allowed to cancel. Only
- 47:12Speaker 1: the person that has made the reservation can cancel. I
- 47:17Speaker 1: just can't. I don't if you don't mind me. I
- 47:21Speaker 1: don't normally get personal. How long have you guys been married? Man,
- 47:25Speaker 1: we have been married for eleven years and we have
- 47:28Speaker 1: two children together. So what is this the day before Valentine?
- 47:34Speaker 1: Does this jump off day or something like that. Oh
- 47:36Speaker 1: my god, Oh my god, thank you for this call.
- 47:39Speaker 1: I can't even oh, oh my god. He told me
- 47:43Speaker 1: he had to go out of town for work Thursday morning.
- 47:46Speaker 1: He wouldn't be back to Friday afternoon. Okay, Well, let
- 47:49Speaker 1: me ask you something. Let me let me ask you something,
- 47:51Speaker 1: Miss Destiny. I mean, you're gonna see him on the fourteenth,
- 47:54Speaker 1: ain't you seriously? Are you? Are you kidding me right now?
- 47:58Speaker 1: I mean I was just trying to look at are
- 48:00Speaker 1: you cladding me right now? You're talking about my husband

- 48:37Speaker 1: right now. Okay, I understand, I understand. I'm just playing.
- 48:42Speaker 1: I guess Devil's advocate here. Don't number twos need love
- 48:45Speaker 1: to goodbye? Back? Did she? She didn't hung them? Callback? Callback?
- 48:53Speaker 1: What did you hang up on? One? Didn't? Did you
- 48:56Speaker 1: hang up you damn white? I hug up on you,
- 48:59Speaker 1: you little on professional. I can't believe it. You call here,
- 49:03Speaker 1: get me on the phone telling me some out wage
- 49:06Speaker 1: about my husband cheating on me, putting something to the
- 49:10Speaker 1: policieson's and alish. You know I'm not to go whoop
- 49:13Speaker 1: his I want to come down there and whoop yo,
- 49:17Speaker 1: and you're gonna turn around and ask me like, don't
- 49:20Speaker 1: don't number two me out? You better hope I don't
- 49:23Speaker 1: run into you. Okay, if you see an angry black
- 49:26Speaker 1: woman coming your way, no that it is me. I'm
- 49:28Speaker 1: coming for your wo dude, don't ask me no stupid
- 49:31Speaker 1: like asking my husband out here cheating on me. We
- 49:34Speaker 1: got kids and shot. Okay, okay, let me ask you something.
- 49:37Speaker 1: Ain't your sister Latricia? Ain't that your sister? Wait? What
- 49:41Speaker 1: you're saying that looking down there with my husband? No? No, no,
- 49:47Speaker 1: I'm not saying that at all. But I'm Atricia. True.
- 49:53Speaker 1: Do you know my sister? Actually? Who is it? Who
- 49:56Speaker 1: do call you? Do you have to know who I am? Hell? Yes,
- 50:01Speaker 1: because I want to make when I come down there
- 50:03Speaker 1: to whoop y'allshop out. Well, when you come down here,
- 50:08Speaker 1: look for me, look for Tommy nephew Tommy from the
- 50:12Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Your sister Latrecia got me the
- 50:15Speaker 1: prank phone call you. Oh, you dirty mussel. Oh you're
- 50:25Speaker 1: putting my boots all right to go and act follow us? Okay, Okay,
- 50:36Speaker 1: that's how we go play today, okay, nephew Tommy, Yes, yes, okay,
- 50:47Speaker 1: get hurt though I'm gonna go get hurt though that
- 50:49Speaker 1: was you should feel my heart. It's just a minute
- 50:54Speaker 1: I was. I was fired up. Restico man, whoop, somebody's dog.
- 50:59Speaker 1: You know what you up? You know why is gonna
- 51:08Speaker 1: be a woman? You gotta let me know what is
- 51:15Speaker 1: the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in
- 51:18Speaker 1: the land, That Steves Harvey Morty Show. And it's crazy Tommy. Whoa,
- 51:28Speaker 1: here's what, Here's what I think it's gonna happened. I
- 51:30Speaker 1: really like Tommy. Tommy gonna take it off. You know,
- 51:35Speaker 1: he gonna take it off the hook, right, he gonna
- 51:37Speaker 1: let the people off the hook. But somebody man gonna
- 51:40Speaker 1: see Tommy somewhere and they're gonna just conjure up the
- 51:44Speaker 1: feeling they had during the prank and they're gonna forget
- 51:48Speaker 1: about the prank part. They're gonna they're gonna Timmy he
- 51:52Speaker 1: didn't want to call me and told me, oh he
- 51:54Speaker 1: thought it was funny. Well how high he he held?
- 51:59Speaker 1: And I think I really do think man, Tommy gonna
- 52:01Speaker 1: get jumped on one time. Yeah, I can see it. Come,
- 52:05Speaker 1: I don't want him too. I kind of do, though, sure,
- 52:08Speaker 1: because I knew you well, See, I told him when
- 52:16Speaker 1: he was young. I told him, I said, Tommy, somebody
- 52:18Speaker 1: gonna beat your ass one day. I was right. I
- 52:20Speaker 1: was like, yeah, I was like I had to go
- 52:22Speaker 1: down there the same Timmy a whole lot of time.
- 52:24Speaker 1: But you know, but you know, when you're playing basketball
- 52:27Speaker 1: and football and baseball and stuff with other dudes, we
- 52:30Speaker 1: don't care about you being lived. That ain't our fault,
- 52:33Speaker 1: you know, because you know, well, he's so little, he's
- 52:36Speaker 1: so cute. Dudes don't feel that way. So tom would
- 52:39Speaker 1: take advantage of that, and he would get up in
- 52:42Speaker 1: people's face sometime, you know, because he would love he thought,
- 52:44Speaker 1: wasn't that gonna happen. I can't tell you how many
- 52:46Speaker 1: times I had to go pull somebody off Tommy and
- 52:48Speaker 1: get in the fight for him, what, especially after he
- 52:52Speaker 1: found out how old he was, because you ain't thought
- 52:56Speaker 1: it was a little cute. Yeah that' oh man, Hey, y'all,
- 53:02Speaker 1: y'all tripping eighteen? Wow? All right, Steve, thank you guys.
- 53:16Speaker 1: Coming up next, Strawberry Letter. Somebody's got to break the
- 53:19Speaker 1: news to her. We'll get into it right after this

- 53:29Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter, and listen if you need advice on relationships, dating, work, sex,
- 53:33Speaker 1: parenting and more. Please, baby, please submit your Strawberry Letter
- 53:37Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey FM dot com and click submit Strawberry Letter.
- 53:41Speaker 1: We could be reading your letter live on the air,
- 53:44Speaker 1: just like we're gonna read this one right here, right now.
- 53:47Speaker 1: All right, ladies and gentlemen, it's time for the Strawberry Letter.
- 53:49Speaker 1: My good friends, Shirley straw Berry. Okay, we might be
- 53:53Speaker 1: good friends, but you don't tell me everything alright yesterday.
- 54:01Speaker 1: You know it, you know it, all right, Love you, kier,
- 54:06Speaker 1: Love you, junior. Subject. Somebody's got to break the news
- 54:10Speaker 1: to her. Dear Stephen, Shirley, I'm a forty one year
- 54:12Speaker 1: old woman needing advice on how to deal with my
- 54:16Speaker 1: thirty nine year old friend. As you all know very well,
- 54:20Speaker 1: we've all been dealing with and being isolated in quarantine.
- 54:25Speaker 1: And while my friend was in lockdown, she decided she
- 54:28Speaker 1: wants to be a pop star. She's got laid off
- 54:31Speaker 1: from work, so she's got a lot of free time,
- 54:34Speaker 1: and she says it's time to pursue her dreams. She's
- 54:38Speaker 1: a bit too old to be just starting out, but
- 54:41Speaker 1: no one can tell her anything. She said she saw Shier, Madonna,
- 54:46Speaker 1: and Tina Turner performing into their sixties and seventies, so
- 54:51Speaker 1: there's hope for her. At age thirty eight, she hasn't
- 54:56Speaker 1: well is she thirty eight or thirty nine? Okay, I'll
- 54:59Speaker 1: say there, yeah, yeah, she's thirty nine. She hasn't had
- 55:04Speaker 1: voice lessons and doesn't plan to take any because she
- 55:07Speaker 1: and because she can use auto tune and creative editing
- 55:12Speaker 1: to sound like a superstar. I don't want to be
- 55:14Speaker 1: a dream killer, but she sounds terrible and she's not
- 55:17Speaker 1: a great dancer. I held my tongue at the idea
- 55:19Speaker 1: of her realistically thinking she'll be making videos. But I
- 55:23Speaker 1: feel like I shouldn't give her false hope either. She
- 55:26Speaker 1: is so sweet and a good mother of her two girls,
- 55:29Speaker 1: but she will never be a performer, let alone a
- 55:33Speaker 1: famous one. At age thirty eight or thirty nine. She's
- 55:38Speaker 1: been posting videos of her self singing and dancing on Instagram,
- 55:41Speaker 1: reels and YouTube. She writes her own songs and the
- 55:44Speaker 1: lyrics are nasty, because she says that's what sells now.
- 55:51Speaker 1: Most of the comments are terrible and hurtful, but she
- 55:55Speaker 1: just wants But she just says they're haters and can't
- 55:59Speaker 1: steal her joy. Her husband wants to do a virtual
- 56:02Speaker 1: intervention with her, but I don't think teaming up on
- 56:05Speaker 1: her is the way to go. Her daughter's a very embarrassed,
- 56:08Speaker 1: but they support her. Do you think she has a chance.
- 56:11Speaker 1: I need your honest opinions. I mean, who knows. Okay,
- 56:16Speaker 1: whether she has a chance or not, it's highly unlikely.
- 56:19Speaker 1: I'll be truthful with you, but I do believe that
- 56:21Speaker 1: anything is possible. But anything is possible if you have,
- 56:25Speaker 1: you know, some sort of talent. You gotta have a
- 56:28Speaker 1: little bit of talent, and good talent at that. If
- 56:32Speaker 1: you want to stay her friend, though, I say, tell
- 56:36Speaker 1: her the truth like you've been doing. Don't hold your tongue.
- 56:39Speaker 1: If she asks you, tell her the truth. If she doesn't,
- 56:42Speaker 1: just let her be her. I mean, you're right about
- 56:45Speaker 1: everything you've said. She's older, just starting out at thirty eight.
- 56:49Speaker 1: I mean Tina Turner, Sharon Madonna. Yeah, they've performed in
- 56:53Speaker 1: their sixties, but they were famous in their twenties. Okayy,
- 56:57Speaker 1: so they've just had a long career. They didn't just
- 57:00Speaker 1: jump in at sixty. So auto tune, you know that
- 57:04Speaker 1: it's not for everyone. You gotta have something to give
- 57:08Speaker 1: auto tunes to play with and make better. And you know,
- 57:13Speaker 1: singing and dancing lessons that would be good. Why don't
- 57:15Speaker 1: you encourage her to do some singing and dancing lessons.
- 57:18Speaker 1: She doesn't want to do that, but you're right. You
- 57:20Speaker 1: just can't, you know, kill her dreams. She'll be mad
- 57:23Speaker 1: at you. She'll be mad at you. Her husband doesn't
- 57:26Speaker 1: like it, her daughters are embarrassed. Maybe that's what you're
- 57:30Speaker 1: going to have to do. As a team, get together
- 57:33Speaker 1: and tell her, because if you tell her, she'll be mad.
- 57:35Speaker 1: If her husband tells her, oh lord, they might get
- 57:37Speaker 1: a divorce. But as a team daughter's husbands, you sit
- 57:41Speaker 1: her down and tell her, you know, maybe let her
- 57:43Speaker 1: just do it for fun karaoke, Steve, somebody's got to
- 57:49Speaker 1: break the news to her. I'm assuming that's why you
- 57:52Speaker 1: wrote me. I am here to break the news to her.
- 57:59Speaker 1: Let's start I usually never do. Let's start with the
- 58:02Speaker 1: last line of the letter. Do you think she has
- 58:06Speaker 1: a chance? I need your honest opinion on cool? Do
- 58:14Speaker 1: I think she has a chance. Hell now I knew it.
- 58:19Speaker 1: Hell now, she ain't got a shot in hand. She
- 58:24Speaker 1: ain't got a snowball chance in Arizona in the afternoon
- 58:28Speaker 1: on one hundred and twelve degree weather. How how first
- 58:34Speaker 1: of all she want to be a pop star? Look?
- 58:37Speaker 1: But see, how does she come to this? You got
- 58:41Speaker 1: a thirty nine year old friend and everybody been in quarantine.
- 58:46Speaker 1: You know, quarantine was rough, we all got it. But
- 58:50Speaker 1: while she was in lockdown, she decided she wanted to
- 58:52Speaker 1: be a pop star. We ain't made a pop star
- 58:58Speaker 1: in how many years? I don't remember the last pop
- 59:02Speaker 1: star we've made. That name is outdated. Her dream is outdated.
- 59:10Speaker 1: Pop star lady? When I come back? Okay, here we go.
- 59:17Speaker 1: All right. See, once you got laid off from work
- 59:21Speaker 1: and you had free time to pursue your dreams. When
- 59:25Speaker 1: did you start having this dream? You already thirty eight?
- 59:29Speaker 1: Don't nobody to hide, no old ass pop star, And
- 59:33Speaker 1: thirty eight is old for a pop star. Shelly said
- 59:36Speaker 1: it right. You're talking about Sharon and Donna, Tina Turner.
- 59:39Speaker 1: They were performing early in life. This a new this
- 59:43Speaker 1: a new day. Now we got Instagram. Everything about hind
- 59:46Speaker 1: your old ass, and then you sit up here talk Mark.
- 59:51Speaker 1: You don't wanna, you don't want to take no singing
- 59:54Speaker 1: and dance lessons? What the hell do pop stars do? Sing?
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: They sang and they dance. You can't do either one
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: of them. All right, we'll come back at training, all right, Steve.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: We'll have heart two of your response to your lovely
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: response at twenty three minutes after the hour. Subject Somebody's
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: got to break the news to her, And we'll be
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: back right after this. You're listening Morning show. All right,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: somebody has got to break the news to her. Yeah, well, lady,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: it's gotta be you. Lady. You know, she forty one,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: she got this girlfriend. As thirty nine, she hadn't been
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: in quarantine. So while she was in quarantine, she decided
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: she want to be a pop star. And she got
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: laid off from work, so she got a lot of
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: free time, and she finally say this time to pursue
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: her dream. And so well, I guess one of her dreams,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: you know, was be a pop star. Now the lady
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: thinks she's a bit too old to just start out
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: but can't nobody telling nothing. She said she saw Sham
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: Donna Tea turn to performing in the sixties and seventies,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: so that's hope for her. They performing in the sixties
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: and seventies. They didn't start in the sixties and seventies.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: And I'm just gonna tell you something. You know, somebody
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: got to break it to her. That's what Onca Steve
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: is here for. Yeah, the question is do you think
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: she has a chance. That was the last line in
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: the answer. My answer, hell noll when you seeing them
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: higher old ass pop stars can't be thirty eight and
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: come out with nothing. First of all, party year old
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: people ben quit going to the stove buying stuff. Let's
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: just go in your age group, we stay out to
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: sixty club because I don't even. I don't even. I
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: just found out record stores was closed, so I know
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: you're in the hell. Well, I ain't been in the
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: damn record store and it really don't know how to
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: download much and nothing. No how so you in an
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: age group and then you say, you know she she
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: hasn't had voice lessons and don't plan the making it
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: because she said she can use auto tuning, creative editing
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: to sound like a superstar? Are you familiar with Milli Vanilli?
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: Just trying to throw some stuff out there. You know
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: you're gonna auto tune so you can sound like a superstar.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Can I tell you something that I've learned about being
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: what people think of as a star. Stars are not
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: made in recordings. Stars is made on stage. You will
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: not be a star until people are repeatedly willing to
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: pay to see you live. Because once they see you
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: live and find out you ain't what you was on
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: that record, your stardom is over. Now you can't sing
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: a dance and you don't want to take no lessons
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: because you can use auto tunes and creative editing to
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: sound like a superstar superstar sing and dance. Yea, Now
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: I ask you, did you know Milli Vanilli? Are you
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: familiar with this woman? I don't know if you've heard
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: her or not. Beyonce, I'm sure she is, who is
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: like the biggest star in the world today. Yeah, there's
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: not a bigger star in music today than Beyonce. To me,
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: I don't know a biggert star than her in music, right,
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: I really don't. I know some legends it's still like
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: they're doing it ron as brother. You know, I more
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: joy from their music. But but Beyonce is a star.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: Is anything abount you? Anything about you? Beyonce is no
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: just I'm at talking to the lady now, not her
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: friend that wrote the letter ass cur is she familiar
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: with Beyonce? And then ass cut is anything about her?
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: Beyonce is? Okay? Steve, let me ask you this. You
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: used to host the Apollo for many many years. She
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: will be naked. What does that mean? They booed, They booed,
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: people clothes off. Ask k Auto to the damn thing
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: at the Apolo? Oh no, no, no, no, no no.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: And one thing about the Apollo. We didn't have no
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: money for those two. They didn't say nothing. You came
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: to rehearsal. We told you what your minute forty five
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: two minutes was gonna be like. We got you to
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: the hook in the song real quick. We did the thing.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: We had the coldest band. Frank was the band leader,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: then Rachel was the band leader. They had two cold bands.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: Your ass come out there. You have eight seconds to
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: convince these people that your ass need to be standing.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: And they hear real good too. Oh, they here real
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: good and they've they've seen the best of the best
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: and have them out there. Got talent. The audience is
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: made up of people with talent who just couldn't get
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: on that night. Now hear your ass, Yeah, they already upset. Yeah,
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: eight seconds of when your voice opens, not to intro
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: to the song. They listen to your voice for eight
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: seconds and they pass judgment right around nine, So they
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: start booing at nine. You're saying, it don't take long.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: Now they might hang in out a little bit with you,
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: because like, here's the most famous Whitney song. Fine, I
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: could have sanen that like shoo, but everybody can sing
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: that part, oh yeah, and wads love you and here's
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: on our part. And surely the look on your face,
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: the shock that people have when the booing starts alarm me.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: Tell this old ass lady, go sit down somewhere at
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: nobody fits. They no ticket to see her old lass
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: being No damn stop, She's gonna lose her family and
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: her husband. Yeah, man, all right, thank you. Steve coming
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: up Junior in Sports Talk right after this. You're listening
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: Steve Harpy Morning Show. All right, come on, junior, he
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: is here with Sports Talk. What you got junior. Hey,
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: let me I just want to say hey first from you,

- 1:07:01Speaker 1: it told on me. So I just what, Oh you've
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: been the only one in it. Yeah. Mentally it's just
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: a lot on me. Okay, we don't want to hear that.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: It's a lot on you mentally, well okay, and so
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: what does that mean? So you can't come to work?
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: I mean short, people have mold pressure only doing the hell? Yeah,
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: what is it? Is it? Gravity? Is it mold pressure? Down?
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: Now for you? I mean, y'all don't go through a
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: few withdrawals doing that. I mean we've been we're going
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: through this since March. What's this one day? And I
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: ain't and I have I haven't missed the day all year.

- 1:08:49Speaker 1: you stay. I just I mean, it has really set
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: me back three day. So so why you just got
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: needing today to find out that the Sean Washington. It
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: turns out, Junior, this see a sports relations nor stupid ass.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: Thanks Sean Wasson. Deshan Wasson don't even know you. I
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: know you don't understand what it's doing to me that
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: he probably gonna leave the text you don't understand what No, no,
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: if you're crying all you don't understand what that's gonna
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: do tod this city? Are you? I don't see Harvey
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: Morning Show coming up at the top of the hour.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: We'll be back a lot. You're listening to show, all right, Temmy,
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: I know you just got here, but you did have
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: a question you wanted to ask your uncle. Yeah, I'm
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: reading up on this stuff, so you know, when it's
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: available for me to be able to take this I
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: read up. Sure, it's when it's available for me to have,
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: you know, take this vaccination to hear a little stuff
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: down level after So so I'm just I'm just curious.
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: Why is it that, like I'm reading up, I want
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: to take this vaccination, but I'm reading that Blacks and
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: Hispanics don't want to take it, and I can't wait
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: for them to call my name to give me the
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: opportunity to take it. But you know, I talked to
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: a doctor. He told me the whole Hispanic community and
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: the Black community or shine away from it and don't
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: want to take it at all. Well, you know something, man,
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: I've been thinking about this, and for me, it's it's
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: sort of a thing. I think blacks, a lot of
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: blacks and a lot of Latinos. I'm not speaking for
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: all of them. A lot of blacks and a lot
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: of Latinos have natural suspicions about this government because, I mean,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: let's let's admit it now, this government has played us
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: on so many things and done some horrific things for us.
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: That's well documented. So we as a people, we have
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: a natural suspicious especially for anything that comes from this government.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: This government from day one has not been kind to us. So,
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: I mean, you know, they slavery was an excellent idea
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: to them. You know, it was just an excellent idea,
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: and it was such an excellent idea that it lasted
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: for four hundred years. The idea of what they did
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: to the people in Tuskegee, the one hundred black men
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: testing for syphilis. They thought this was an excellent way
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: to find out more about this horrific disease. Let's infect
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: these black men. So, you know, we have a culture
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: at a background of this. The problem that we're facing
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: is that this thing that they're testing and looking at
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: is not just for blacks and Latinos. It's a global pandemic.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: This is something that is happening around the world that
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: is not a culture, a country, a county, addition strict
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: that ain't dealing with it. Every island, everybody's dealing with it.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: So I find it a little hard to believe that
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: they would come up within vaccine to get rid of
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: a certain group of people. Right now. So now, now
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: with that being said, because it's such a widespread problem
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: that we have, and how do you how do you
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: do that? It's just like them foods saying the election
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: was stolen, Well, how how do they do that? How
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: do they come up with seven million votes? Ain't nobody
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: find them out? How would they get certain vaccines to
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: certain areas? I don't understand how they could do it.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: But but but but the sense of it doesn't doesn't
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: make sense for me. And as a radio personality, and
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: we have a show on an obligation to give information
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: out to our listeners, you know, I've been a little
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: bit torn between it. But I'm just going to say
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: this for me, when giving opportunity to take the vaccine,
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: I will take it. And were going to take it, oh,
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: you know, don't take it? Even like has a better
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: has to do a better job we're getting the message
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: to us, Steve, because of the lack of trust that
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: we have for what's going on, they have to do
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: a better job to get us to trust them. Well,
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: that's what I'm saying too. That's what I'm saying too.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: And a lot of black doctors, the Surgeon General, a
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: lot of black nurses are coming out saying it's safe.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: They get it, get it, get it, get it, get
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: it on TV. But now listen to me. We have
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: to we have to come into twenty twenty one two. Now,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: you know, we can't keep dealing with all this what happened,
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: I got, I got, I got. History has a tendency
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: repeat yourself. You don't know history, but y'all, at one
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: point in time, you got to look at this thing.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: And I guess it's an individual decision. So I'm not
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: gonna say everybody has to take it. I'm just going
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: to say that if I get the opportunity, I'm taking
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: the vaccine. Yeah. Yeah, that's all I can say to you.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: You have to play it for yourself because too many
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: people are dying from this thing called COVID, way too
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: many people. Yeah, and we wanted over at some point,
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: all right, more of today's trending stories. Uh, and we'll
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: be back on the Steve Harvey Morning Show at twenty
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: minutes after right after this, you're listening Morning show, all right.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: When we left off, Steve, you were talking about the
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: fact that how so many black people, based on a
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: question that Tommy asked you and Hispanic people are not
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: lining up and signing up for the COVID vaccine. Listen
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: to me, what was what was you feel to say
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: about applies on? I didn't hear what plies I mean,
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: applies said that he's put stuff in his body. He
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: know what it was. He said, he buy we from
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: we man. He don't even know who the we man is.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: The red bull about food truck, food on food truck
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: after the club at night, I mean or it. You know,
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: it's a comical way to put it, but you know,
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: I mean what he's saying is almost real. You know,
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: It's It's another thing though for me, you know, because
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: I'm on the radio and I have friends who have
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: different theories. Uh, Steve, you shouldn't tell people to get
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: the vaccine or Steve, you got to do a better
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: job of telling people to get the vaccine. Now what
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: you know. I'm just gonna say, you know, this ain't
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: on me. This ain't on me. My job and our
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: job was to get everybody to the polls to vote
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: this vaccine. You have a choice in this. You don't
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: have a choice in voting when you get a choice
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: with who you vote for. But voting is an obligation
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: to So you know, Steve, you don't look for you.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: So let me just put it to you this way.
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: For everybody that's telling me you shouldn't be pushing this
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: or you should be Steve Harvey, when given the opportunity,
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: will get vaccinated. Period. But I've had a couple of
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: my kids say they don't want to take no vaccine
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: from the government. Okay, don't. We'll be back with more
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at thirty
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Time now for a
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: quick round of asked the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: Harvey in the building. Are you ready, sir? Here we go.
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: I know you are. This is from Honey in Chicago. Hey,
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: Honey in Chicago. Honey says, I finally met a very
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: handsome man that is my age, and he has great conversation.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: The only problem I have with him is that he
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: curses in every sentence. He's called me bro a few times,
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: and I reminded him what my name is. I've been
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: to his house and met his eight year old son,
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: and he curses around him too, and affectionately calls him
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: a little in word. I know you brag about being
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: a good cusser, but I also know you don't do
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: it all of the time. How can I get him
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: to be more respectful in my presence? I'm gonna have
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: to be a little bit honest. Hill. Yeah, well, I
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: do cuss most of the time, and I have referred
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: to my grandchildren that way too, and I haven't reprimanded
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: about my wife. She told me, you can't call him that. Well,
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: you know, I try to just bring them, you know,
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: on into what I am. You know, but I don't
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: think that's good for the kids at that age. I
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: don't think you should do it. I think for when
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: they about ten, I think it's okay. Oh. I don't
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: really have a good answer for her about this. Custom.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: Don't if you got a good man, just going with
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: a good man, ask him to just be a little
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: bit more respectful with you around the language and just
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: remind him of it. But that's all. But don't throw
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: him out the window because a lot of good people cuss.
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: She didn't say it was good. She said it was
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: very handsome. Well, any conversation, any custom, so obviously the

- 1:24:51Speaker 1: say one more thing about this vaccination. Come on, just
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: to be clear, I think this fascination. Vaccination is a choice,
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: and everybody it's you know, it's not a mandatory that
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: you take it. But I'm pretty sure that all of
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: us know someone who has died from COVID. And even
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: though the vaccine isn't one guarantee that you won't ever
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: catch it, it does lesson severely the symptoms becoming severe
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: and causing hospitalization and death. Yeah, I just I just
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: don't know that I'm willing to roll the dice and
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: not take the vaccination. So I'm taking it now. For
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: all of you all out there that have theories of
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: why you shouldn't take it, that's your decision. But sometimes, man, see,
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: times are changing in this world, and even though they
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: haven't changed to our liking to where we really want
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: it to be. That's change coming in this world, you know.
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: I mean, Steve, we have a black woman that helped
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: created the vaccination dot mornment. That's a change, right, Yeah,
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: Georgia turn blue changes a change. Yeah. I would. I
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: would be very careful with with allowing our natural suspicions
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: to guide us into the future. Just be conscious everybody.
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: Everybody has decide for the vaccine for themselves. Steve Harvey's
