- 2:15Speaker 8: to me. Man, I can't really count at all. You
- 2:19Speaker 8: can't either, you know, it's all in perspective. You really
- 2:22Speaker 8: can't count all that God has done for you if
- 2:25Speaker 8: you look at every little thing. It's unbelievable the things
- 2:29Speaker 8: He's done for us. How many times, you know, we
- 2:33Speaker 8: got through something without even talking to him about it.
- 2:35Speaker 7: He just he just blessed us with it. How many
- 2:38Speaker 7: you know?
- 2:38Speaker 8: It's just it's so much that the fact that you
- 2:41Speaker 8: wake up in the morning, the fact that you still
- 2:44Speaker 8: have a place to stay, the fact that you know
- 2:47Speaker 8: may be struggling out here, but guess what, you still
- 2:49Speaker 8: going to work. You know, you live in check to check,
- 2:52Speaker 8: but you're making it all. You got all the plates spinning.
- 2:55Speaker 8: You know, it's hard. You got a lot of plate spinning,
- 2:57Speaker 8: but you keep them up there somemmer every now and there,
- 2:59Speaker 8: one break, put two more back up there to look
- 3:01Speaker 8: a little bit better. And you got to get to
- 3:03Speaker 8: spending them so it all works. And then you got
- 3:07Speaker 8: a lot of people who just can't seem to mentally
- 3:11Speaker 8: put it together as to you know, why their life
- 3:15Speaker 8: isn't in a position that they.
- 3:17Speaker 7: Wanted to be.
- 3:18Speaker 8: We talk about this oftentimes, but I don't want to
- 3:20Speaker 8: try another angle with you today.
- 3:22Speaker 7: You know, maybe it's you. Have you ever thought about that?
- 3:28Speaker 7: Maybe it's you.
- 3:31Speaker 8: Maybe it's no external force that's at fault, like you
- 3:34Speaker 8: keep making the excuse to be You know, so many
- 3:38Speaker 8: people out here, Well, if this hadn't have done this,
- 3:40Speaker 8: if he hadn't have done that, if she hadn't have
- 3:43Speaker 8: done that, I would have been further along.
- 3:45Speaker 7: I wasted all my time, my.
- 3:47Speaker 8: Years with this man, and he did this, and I
- 3:50Speaker 8: could have been here, and I could have been there,
- 3:53Speaker 8: and this woman she did this to me, And if
- 3:55Speaker 8: she hadn't have done that, I could have been here
- 3:57Speaker 8: and I could have been there.
- 4:00Speaker 7: Maybe it's you.
- 4:02Speaker 8: Maybe it's not really that external force that you keep
- 4:06Speaker 8: making it out to be. See, I've done this to
- 4:09Speaker 8: myself before. Once again, I'm talking to you about something
- 4:14Speaker 8: I know about. I've done this to myself before. I've
- 4:19Speaker 8: had the reason I wasn't where I wanted to be.
- 4:22Speaker 8: I had it figured out as some external force. I
- 4:27Speaker 8: had worked it out.
- 4:28Speaker 7: In my mind.
- 4:29Speaker 8: Clearly it wasn't me because of so and so, or
- 4:34Speaker 8: if this hadn't happened, and if they hadn't have done this,
- 4:37Speaker 8: I would have been further along up the road. That's
- 4:40Speaker 8: what I was saying. But hold on, man, boy learned
- 4:43Speaker 8: a valuable lesson.
- 4:44Speaker 7: Man.
- 4:45Speaker 8: See, if you don't ever let it go, it's gonna
- 4:52Speaker 8: be hard for you to go. If you don't ever
- 4:57Speaker 8: let it go, it's gonna be hard for you to go.
- 5:02Speaker 7: I was listening to.
- 5:02Speaker 8: Bishop td Jake's one day and I heard him say,
- 5:08Speaker 8: you can't drive your car if you gonna keep looking
- 5:12Speaker 8: in the rear view mirror. You go outside and try that.
- 5:16Speaker 8: Try to drive your car, but keep your eye in
- 5:19Speaker 8: the rearview mirror. All you looking at is where you're being.
- 5:23Speaker 8: All you're looking at in that rear view mirror is
- 5:26Speaker 8: where you passed or should have passed, something you should
- 5:29Speaker 8: have moved on from. All you're doing is looking in
- 5:32Speaker 8: that real view mirror at what happened back now. If
- 5:37Speaker 8: you don't stop looking in the rearview mirror, you're gonna
- 5:40Speaker 8: crash your car over and over and over again. All
- 5:46Speaker 8: you got to slow it down so bad in order
- 5:50Speaker 8: for you to keep looking in that rear view mirror.
- 5:54Speaker 8: If you don't learn to let it go, it's gonna
- 5:58Speaker 8: be hard for you to go forward because you keep
- 6:03Speaker 8: reviewing the past. The past is the past, and I
- 6:08Speaker 8: know it's hard.
- 6:08Speaker 9: Man.
- 6:09Speaker 8: I watched a show and this lady said, well, I
- 6:11Speaker 8: just can't ever forgive them for that, or guess what.
- 6:16Speaker 7: Guess what God may have already forgiven that person.
- 6:21Speaker 8: That person may be extremely remorseful, could have gone to
- 6:24Speaker 8: God and got in forgiveness for it years ago. But
- 6:29Speaker 8: you you sit here and you keep hanging on to
- 6:33Speaker 8: the back. I can't ever forgive that. Then I heard
- 6:37Speaker 8: Bishop Jakes come on the show one time and say
- 6:39Speaker 8: something that really really struck home. You keep drinking the poison,
- 6:45Speaker 8: waiting on your enemy to die. He said that I
- 6:50Speaker 8: just shook my head and went, wow, you drinking the poison,
- 6:55Speaker 8: waiting on your enemy to die.
- 6:58Speaker 7: Revenge is.
- 7:01Speaker 8: To you, You know, if hatred is poison to you. Unforgivingness,
- 7:09Speaker 8: when you won't forgive a person, that person could be
- 7:12Speaker 8: going on with they life made the right with God.
- 7:16Speaker 8: Don't know how you feeling. They skipping through life. Now
- 7:19Speaker 8: you make adjustments every time you see them. And it
- 7:21Speaker 8: takes energy. Man, it takes so much energy to hate.
- 7:26Speaker 8: It takes so much energy not to forgive to Now
- 7:29Speaker 8: they come in the room. You got to avoid them.
- 7:31Speaker 8: Stay over here, Oh here they come. Now you got
- 7:34Speaker 8: to make a situation over here. They come into the house,
- 7:38Speaker 8: this family reunion. Oh oh, here they come. Or where
- 7:40Speaker 8: they gonna be in the basement. I'm going to be
- 7:42Speaker 8: on the third floor. I want to go out here
- 7:43Speaker 8: and get some barbecue. She out there at the barbecue staying,
- 7:46Speaker 8: Oh lord, I don't want a barbecue. I just eat
- 7:47Speaker 8: to takete a salad. People man take themselves all out
- 7:50Speaker 8: of position, trying to make adjustments, when if you it
- 7:54Speaker 8: would simplify your life, if you would let just let
- 7:59Speaker 8: it go. Maybe you ain't where you need to be
- 8:02Speaker 8: because of them, external forces altogether. Maybe you not where
- 8:06Speaker 8: you need to be because of you, because you won't
- 8:10Speaker 8: let it go, you won't move forward. Look at this, ladies.
- 8:14Speaker 8: Let's say you've been in a situation with a man
- 8:17Speaker 8: for years. It didn't work out. For whatever the reason,
- 8:21Speaker 8: it just didn't work out.
- 8:23Speaker 7: I got what you say he did.
- 8:25Speaker 8: I got what he did, I got he all of that, YadA,
- 8:28Speaker 8: YadA YadA. When you get through, did not God get
- 8:33Speaker 8: you through it? Did not he allow you to survive it.
- 8:39Speaker 8: I got you, got some cuts on you, I got
- 8:42Speaker 8: you been a little bit bruised. But did he not
- 8:45Speaker 8: get you through it? So, now that he's freed you
- 8:49Speaker 8: from it, now he done went on. He got a
- 8:51Speaker 8: whole nother family over there somewhere. Now, he trying to
- 8:54Speaker 8: make it right because maybe he learned the mistake he
- 8:57Speaker 8: made and now he trying to be a better man.
- 8:59Speaker 7: He just trying to get it right right now.
- 9:01Speaker 8: But you sitting there holding on to it, you drinking
- 9:04Speaker 8: the poison, waiting on your enemy to die. So now,
- 9:07Speaker 8: instead of you enjoying the blessing of finally being free
- 9:10Speaker 8: from a situation that was not healthy for you, you
- 9:13Speaker 8: create an even more unhealthy situation in your mind, by hating,
- 9:18Speaker 8: by having revengeful thoughts, by hoping he fall on his face.
- 9:23Speaker 8: Maybe you even doing something to the other situation to
- 9:26Speaker 8: make sure they struggle. Oh man, you drinking the poison,
- 9:30Speaker 8: waiting on your enemy to die. Maybe you ain't where
- 9:33Speaker 8: you ought to be in life, not because of your
- 9:35Speaker 8: external forces, but maybe it's you. If you don't let
- 9:40Speaker 8: it go, it's gonna be hard for you to go.
- 9:44Speaker 8: You can't keep driving your car looking in the rear
- 9:47Speaker 8: view mirror. Come on, man, Forgiveness is not for the
- 9:53Speaker 8: other person. Forgiveness is for you.

- 10:18Speaker 9: All of that.
- 10:20Speaker 8: There's really not a superlative that I could put on
- 10:23Speaker 8: his name that would suffice, awesome, amazing.

- 22:50Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. But right now it
- 22:52Speaker 1: is time to ask the CLO our chief Love Officer,
- 22:56Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. This is from Dennis in Atlanta. Dennis writes,
- 23:00Speaker 1: I have a twin brother that's married to a twin Uh.
- 23:03Speaker 1: They expect me to want her sister, but I don't.
- 23:07Speaker 1: I'm dating someone that doesn't feel welcome in our group
- 23:11Speaker 1: because she can tell they don't like her. How do
- 23:14Speaker 1: how do I get them to accept the lady that
- 23:16Speaker 1: I love?
- 23:18Speaker 8: Hey, Dog, quit Dayton in your group? Why don't you
- 23:20Speaker 8: get a new group? Listen, that's that's simple. Dog, get
- 23:28Speaker 8: you a new group. You ain't gotta have that same group.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Boy, he's around his twin brother, So.
- 23:36Speaker 7: Well, my twin brother need to be on my side?
- 23:39Speaker 7: What is we? Twins?
- 23:40Speaker 9: Folk? That's why I don't have nobody look like me.
- 23:44Speaker 9: You sure don't say that right now?
- 23:54Speaker 8: Ain't nobody can run it down there trying to be
- 23:56Speaker 8: you either, So go ahead, go ahead?
- 23:59Speaker 1: S all right, Connie and Brooklyn right to. My husband
- 24:05Speaker 1: and I had an argument after he liked one of
- 24:08Speaker 1: my coworker's pictures on Facebook. He said he did it
- 24:11Speaker 1: because she was at one of our favorite lounges. Does
- 24:14Speaker 1: he think I'm stupid? How do I ensure that this
- 24:17Speaker 1: won't ever happen again?
- 24:20Speaker 7: What? What? What?
- 24:21Speaker 10: Well?
- 24:21Speaker 7: I don't understand why y'all do that?
- 24:24Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 24:24Speaker 1: Like pictures?
- 24:26Speaker 9: Dog?
- 24:27Speaker 7: You can't just like it yourself.
- 24:28Speaker 8: Why you gotta press the buttons?
- 24:32Speaker 7: Oh, keep it to yourself.
- 24:36Speaker 8: I like a lot of stuff I don't say nothing about.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Uh huh, but you don't. Yeah, yeah, none of that. Yeah,
- 24:45Speaker 1: I can't tell you.
- 24:46Speaker 7: Not on purpose. I've done it by accident.
- 24:49Speaker 8: My son and told me, Dad, when you're trying to
- 24:51Speaker 8: move the screen, don't just keep touching it, because I
- 24:58Speaker 8: made a lot of accidents on some stuff, all right.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Uh. Moving on to Arthur and Dothan, Arthur writes, for years,
- 25:08Speaker 1: I had sex with one of my wife's cousins. She
- 25:12Speaker 1: died recently. We missed the funeral, but I'm listed on
- 25:17Speaker 1: the obituary as a quote special friend. My wife thought
- 25:21Speaker 1: it was sweet, but her sisters are making it a
- 25:24Speaker 1: big deal. How do I get them to chill?
- 25:28Speaker 7: You can't crazy, Hey, dog, she didn't what you're worried
- 25:31Speaker 7: about for she did? Yep, dog, you won't even see
- 25:37Speaker 7: the gift.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Yeah, the gift of the gift of death.
- 25:44Speaker 9: What you know?
- 25:46Speaker 1: A real No.
- 25:48Speaker 13: When they say special friend, everybody knows what that means.
- 25:52Speaker 7: Well, let him go ahead, but y'all you got the doll.
- 25:56Speaker 7: Just deny it.
- 25:59Speaker 1: She did?
- 26:01Speaker 7: She gone do you go?
- 26:04Speaker 1: So what does that mean? You're her special friend?
- 26:06Speaker 6: Oh?
- 26:06Speaker 1: So you're her special friend.
- 26:08Speaker 8: I used to give her a lot of advice and stuff.
- 26:10Speaker 8: I used to help her with the relationship problems and stuff.
- 26:14Speaker 8: I helped her. She needed some money one time I
- 26:17Speaker 8: gave it to her.
- 26:17Speaker 13: Yeah, and you got the little shout out.
- 26:22Speaker 9: Why is you a beer? Why is that too?
- 26:25Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 26:25Speaker 7: But who who shouted him out in the obituary though?
- 26:28Speaker 1: Because it wasn't that woman his wife, wasn't her his
- 26:34Speaker 1: wife's cousin that he used to have sex with for years.
- 26:38Speaker 7: She wrote her own habituary.
- 26:39Speaker 1: She wrote, No, well you're.
- 26:43Speaker 13: Saying is see somebody else?
- 26:46Speaker 7: Yeah, somebody wrote that. What is they talking about?
- 26:48Speaker 3: Oh?
- 26:49Speaker 7: Dog, that's that's easy. Once you die, it's no way
- 26:53Speaker 7: you can out.
- 26:56Speaker 8: It's no way I'm gonna say stuff that you have
- 26:58Speaker 8: to you have to talk to them about. Yeah, yeah,
- 27:03Speaker 8: all my points is gonna be gotta talk to them.
- 27:06Speaker 8: I'm gonna win this argument. Somebody dead.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Yeah, he's trying to see how does he get the
- 27:13Speaker 1: sisters to chill? But he doesn't have to be bothered with.
- 27:16Speaker 8: See, that's like testifying against a mob member. Sometimes you
- 27:20Speaker 8: just don't make it. Sometimes you just don't make it
- 27:23Speaker 8: to court. You see that what happened. Yeah, she dead,
- 27:32Speaker 8: she ain't gonna be She's not gonna make it to court.
- 27:35Speaker 8: So therefore what I'm testifying on is good because she's
- 27:40Speaker 8: not gonna be in court today or tomorrow.
- 27:43Speaker 7: Wow, you can subpoena her, but she's not gonna be
- 27:46Speaker 7: able to make it. It's here.
- 27:51Speaker 8: Sometimes you gotta look at death as what it is.
- 27:53Speaker 8: Sometimes it's a gift, Sometimes it's a blessing. Sometimes it's
- 28:01Speaker 8: a blessing, said the Lord works in mysterious.
- 28:08Speaker 7: Yeah, hey, I was.
- 28:10Speaker 9: I was behind it.
- 28:11Speaker 7: Hey hey, let me tell you something.
- 28:13Speaker 8: When I first got an apartment, I was two months
- 28:15Speaker 8: behind on my rent.
- 28:18Speaker 7: My landlord died.
- 28:23Speaker 1: I mean, that's not funny.
- 28:24Speaker 9: Didn't nobody know about him and what happened.
- 28:29Speaker 7: The first thing I said was, look.
- 28:33Speaker 1: At God, won't do it.
- 28:37Speaker 6: You know.
- 28:37Speaker 8: I had time to get my wrint together. Then Lord
- 28:40Speaker 8: her mercy because the family was grieving. They didn't have time.
- 28:44Speaker 8: By the time they looked at the records, I had
- 28:45Speaker 8: the money.
- 28:47Speaker 1: Oh okay, so you did pay Oh yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 28:52Speaker 1: all right people.
- 28:54Speaker 6: And.
- 28:56Speaker 8: I just picked up with the fresh month. I was
- 28:58Speaker 8: two months behind by the time his family took over.
- 29:02Speaker 8: I was just paying red like record. I ain't even
- 29:04Speaker 8: paying the other two.
- 29:05Speaker 15: The current, the gift, and and and and then when
- 29:13Speaker 15: they looked it up, they said, we don't have no
- 29:14Speaker 15: record of you paying.
- 29:15Speaker 7: I said, he, well, you got to talk to him.
- 29:19Speaker 1: He's dad crazy man.
- 29:22Speaker 7: I gave him the money.
- 29:25Speaker 9: What he did with it?
- 29:29Speaker 3: Yeah, all right.
- 29:30Speaker 7: What a blessing. Look at God, Look at God.
- 29:35Speaker 1: So crazy saying thank you, Celo.
- 29:37Speaker 7: But that's You're welcome.
- 29:41Speaker 9: Coming.
- 29:43Speaker 1: We'll have some entertainment news for you right after this
- 29:46Speaker 1: ignorant show.
- 29:50Speaker 7: Mister Steve Martin Marty show man.
- 29:53Speaker 8: You only get hated on by people who are less
- 29:56Speaker 8: than you. Nobody doing better than you hate some you.
- 29:59Speaker 8: It's always the lesser they hate. Always come from the bottom.
- 30:04Speaker 8: That's why they call them bottom feet. God has positioned you,
- 30:08Speaker 8: as well as myself, up on the wall. We're climbing
- 30:11Speaker 8: to a destiny that's so great. When they start throwing
- 30:16Speaker 8: rocks and they pull from the bottom, you cannot get
- 30:20Speaker 8: down off the wall. You cannot stop your forward progress
- 30:24Speaker 8: to climb down and address them because you're stopping your
- 30:27Speaker 8: progress and they don't have power unless you give it
- 30:30Speaker 8: to them.
- 30:31Speaker 7: Show coming up right after.
- 30:33Speaker 11: You're listening, Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Well guys. According to The New York Times, online retailer
- 30:46Speaker 1: Amazon has plans to replace over five hundred thousand warehouse
- 30:51Speaker 1: jobs in the US with robots. This is going to
- 30:55Speaker 1: happen over the next ten years. Amazon's robotics team said,
- 30:59Speaker 1: with this major milestone now in sight, we are confident
- 31:02Speaker 1: in our ability to flatten Amazon's hiring curve. The Shreveport,
- 31:07Speaker 1: Louisiana warehouse already has whereby robots managing most of the
- 31:12Speaker 1: operations after packaging, enabling the company to employ fewer workers
- 31:17Speaker 1: than ever before. Upgrades are planned for forty more warehouses
- 31:21Speaker 1: by twenty twenty seven. So here's a question. Yeah, yes, Steve,
- 31:26Speaker 1: go ahead, go ahead. What's your Oh, here's a question.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Are we ready for robots to serve us instead of humans?
- 31:32Speaker 1: I mean, the Jetsons is here.
- 31:34Speaker 8: Well, this is what I'm thinking it's gonna happen. It's
- 31:36Speaker 8: gonna be a what a lot of robots missing?
- 31:43Speaker 1: Why a lot of robots?
- 31:45Speaker 7: This is what I think.
- 31:46Speaker 8: And I don't know the law, but killing a robot
- 31:49Speaker 8: has got to be different from killing a person.
- 31:52Speaker 7: It has got to be. It cannot be the same,
- 31:55Speaker 7: not taking a life. Really heeah right, and it ain't
- 31:58Speaker 7: no life saying.
- 32:00Speaker 8: I'm just saying we ain't got you, ain't got worried
- 32:02Speaker 8: about to work, but you're not gonna take my job?
- 32:06Speaker 1: Killers you a black killer?
- 32:09Speaker 8: Yeah, he won't be at work tomorrow. I can promise you.
- 32:12Speaker 9: That as soon as I take the chip up.
- 32:19Speaker 6: Water. Bruh.
- 32:21Speaker 7: There's so many ways get rid of a robot?
- 32:23Speaker 10: Are what?
- 32:26Speaker 1: This is crazy though? I mean we grew up with
- 32:29Speaker 1: the Jetsons, yeah, with robots and all that, but all the.
- 32:33Speaker 7: Black tape over his eyes.
- 32:36Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, so he can't transmit no signal. No, you're
- 32:41Speaker 8: not taking my job, not no robot.
- 32:44Speaker 10: No, I'm.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Gy moving on unless you have more. If you're a
- 32:53Speaker 1: true R and B fan, there is a tour just
- 32:57Speaker 1: for you, and it will start in February of next year.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Iconic performers Tony Braxton, Boys to Men and New Addition
- 33:05Speaker 1: are coming together New Addition Way Tour. The tour promises
- 33:11Speaker 1: for fans a triple dose of nostalgia and great performances.
- 33:14Speaker 7: Tony, New Edition and Who and.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Boys to Men. Yes Nice good, great show. Yeah, they're
- 33:22Speaker 1: going to be in a three hundred and sixty degree
- 33:25Speaker 1: stage so the fans can get a more intimate experience.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Kicks off in Chicago in February twenty twenty six. Who's
- 33:31Speaker 1: going to be cold there, and it's gonna hit Boston, La, Atlanta,
- 33:36Speaker 1: New York and other major cities. So there you're starting
- 33:40Speaker 1: kicking out February of next year.
- 33:42Speaker 8: They don't break it up. They gonna put Boys to
- 33:45Speaker 8: Me in first. Yeah, that's the Boys and Men first,
- 33:48Speaker 8: Dan Tona to the new edition.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Yeah, close it out. Yeah, so you need to be
- 33:55Speaker 1: on time so you can see you.
- 33:57Speaker 9: Yeah, it'll be everyone.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Finally, a Missouri father was arrested in charged with assault
- 34:02Speaker 1: and harassment after a video surface of him directing his
- 34:06Speaker 1: six year old daughter to repeatedly attack a seven year
- 34:09Speaker 1: old girl. This was on the school bus. The bus
- 34:12Speaker 1: surveillance video confirmed that the dad, whose name is Maurice Fox,
- 34:18Speaker 1: board at the bus with his daughter, told her he
- 34:23Speaker 1: told her do what I told you to do, and
- 34:26Speaker 1: the six year old started punching a seven year old
- 34:29Speaker 1: girl in the head. Fox allegedly encouraged his daughter to
- 34:33Speaker 1: keep hitting the girl by saying I want her crying again.
- 34:37Speaker 1: In a now deleted post, Maurice Fox wrote that the
- 34:40Speaker 1: incident happened because his daughter was being bullied and he
- 34:44Speaker 1: had no choice.
- 34:45Speaker 8: Oh that's ignorant. Yes, that's ignorant. I'm not teaching my
- 34:52Speaker 8: daughters to fight. I'm not going to do that. I'm
- 34:55Speaker 8: not going to teach my daughters about physical violence. My
- 34:59Speaker 8: son's that's a whole nother story. I've done that guilty,
- 35:02Speaker 8: but not my daughters. And I'm not taking her on
- 35:04Speaker 8: the school bus to jump on the little girl. That's
- 35:07Speaker 8: ignorance at the highest level as an adult. For you
- 35:12Speaker 8: to do that as an adult, that's ignorance at its
- 35:16Speaker 8: highest Level's six. Come on, yeah, do what I told
- 35:21Speaker 8: you to do, Maurice, Come on, man.
- 35:24Speaker 1: I want her crying again.
- 35:28Speaker 9: That's too much.
- 35:29Speaker 1: He had no choice. She's being bullied.
- 35:33Speaker 8: You had a choice, brother, You go to the school,
- 35:36Speaker 8: you address it with the other parents.
- 35:38Speaker 7: You have choices.
- 35:39Speaker 8: Yeah, that's you took your last resort and made it first.
- 35:45Speaker 10: Ten to twelve years from now your daughter. Why have
- 35:47Speaker 10: ben jail in the penitentiary. This is your fall.
- 35:50Speaker 9: You started.
- 35:51Speaker 7: You're stupid.
- 35:53Speaker 1: This kind of behavior, yeah, those of it all Yeah.
- 35:58Speaker 13: Yeah, like you said, you have a choice, since you
- 36:00Speaker 13: have options, yeah.
- 36:07Speaker 8: To remove your daughter from the situation. Bruh, it's a
- 36:10Speaker 8: whole lot of things you can do.
- 36:13Speaker 9: You on the bus, egg and his home.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Yeah, And like you said, Steve, this is his last resort.
- 36:19Speaker 1: He made it first. Come on.
- 36:21Speaker 8: Winton was getting bullied up at the school once and
- 36:23Speaker 8: I went up to the school and I put a
- 36:24Speaker 8: stop to it. Yeah, because I just said, Hey, bring
- 36:29Speaker 8: the other dad up here. And then I explained to
- 36:31Speaker 8: the dad this what's gonna happen next time your son
- 36:35Speaker 8: called my boy the end word. I'm gonna bring in
- 36:39Speaker 8: a van full of black people with white T shirts
- 36:42Speaker 8: on with black ends on them. And when we get
- 36:45Speaker 8: out the van, that'll be the last we're gonna I'm
- 36:48Speaker 8: gonna show you something.
- 36:50Speaker 7: Well, no more trouble, No more trouble. Right, wasn't no
- 36:54Speaker 7: violence or nothing. He was just the promise.
- 36:58Speaker 1: Coming up at after the hour, we'll hear from the
- 37:01Speaker 1: nephew because there is a brand new season of Ready
- 37:04Speaker 1: to Love starting this week. We got to hear about
- 37:08Speaker 1: this right after this. Hey, this is John Legend, Hi,
- 37:12Speaker 1: this is Felicius Shot. Hey, this is Motown recording artist kemp.

- 37:37Speaker 1: better time. I'm with some furniture around last weekend in
- 37:40Speaker 1: my new place. It turns out that was a really
- 37:42Speaker 1: bad idea because all that bending and lifting and pretending
- 37:46Speaker 1: I'm still twenty five didn't agree with my knees. So
- 37:49Speaker 1: I grabbed a leave because when my body pain shows up,
- 37:52Speaker 1: I need something that lasts. With just one pill. A
- 37:55Speaker 1: lead lasts up to twelve hours. Don't let those aches
- 37:58Speaker 1: and pains hold you back from doing what's important to you.

- 50:02Speaker 6: How do you even have my number I've got. I
- 50:04Speaker 6: got your number from a reliable sort. What did the
- 50:06Speaker 6: payers gave me your number?
- 50:07Speaker 14: But what's like? What kind of mental problems you got
- 50:10Speaker 14: calling my house telling me about how your son is?
- 50:13Speaker 14: So your son is like not barely even on the team,
- 50:15Speaker 14: he's not even starting.
- 50:16Speaker 6: Okay, No, my son ain't start. Okay, Well he gonna
- 50:20Speaker 6: be starting next year. Okay, But I know what you

- 50:45Speaker 14: to play a game. It's like, I haven't seen you
- 50:47Speaker 14: at a game. I don't know. I don't know what
- 50:51Speaker 14: you think. You are stepping up being like my son
- 50:54Speaker 14: is gonna take your son's position. Like what kind of
- 50:57Speaker 14: crazy are you? You're calling me out of nowhere, out
- 50:59Speaker 14: of that You're calling me where I'm clear blue. I'm

- 51:27Speaker 14: he's the best on the team.
- 51:28Speaker 6: Her you're staying in that, Cannis, But are you sure
- 51:34Speaker 6: your son ain't starting because maybe you maybe you slept,
- 51:36Speaker 6: maybe you slept with coach Brian.
- 51:38Speaker 14: What wait, excuse you?
- 51:40Speaker 6: Like, did you did you? Did you sleep with coach
- 51:43Speaker 6: Brian so your son could get that position? Did you
- 51:45Speaker 6: do that?
- 51:46Speaker 14: Your mama slept with coach for coach Brian with her
- 51:49Speaker 14: dry that's why your son ain't playing. Who do you
- 51:52Speaker 14: think you are accusing me of sleeping with a coach?

- 52:10Speaker 6: just picked him the start.
- 52:11Speaker 14: You are crazy. First of all, you're gonna have to
- 52:14Speaker 14: talk to my husband because these accusations are ridiculous and
- 52:19Speaker 14: out of control. But I don't know who the do
- 52:21Speaker 14: you think you are in the house excusing me to
- 52:23Speaker 14: sleeping with the coach my son earned his positions on
- 52:26Speaker 14: the team.
- 52:27Speaker 1: He's like, what the who do you think you are.

- 57:28Speaker 1: kids open present. It's not until recently that I'm seeing
- 57:32Speaker 1: my wife in a different light. We got married when
- 57:35Speaker 1: we were twenty four, and I was still immature and selfish.
- 57:40Speaker 1: Now that I'm older, I see my wife in a
- 57:42Speaker 1: position of authority, leading a household without me, and it
- 57:47Speaker 1: kills me inside. I want so badly to just apologize
- 57:51Speaker 1: and go back home, but my pride gets in the way.
- 57:55Speaker 1: I fear rejection too, because the children told me she's dating.
- 58:00Speaker 1: She's got her hair cut short, and she's still got
- 58:03Speaker 1: her twenty four year old figure, and she dresses very nicely.
- 58:07Speaker 1: I don't want her to forget about me and move on,
- 58:10Speaker 1: so I made up reasons to see her without the children.
- 58:14Speaker 1: I asked her to come to my office to discuss
- 58:16Speaker 1: our oldest child's college tuition, and she came in, smelling
- 58:20Speaker 1: good and looking like a movie star. All eyes were
- 58:24Speaker 1: on her, and for a second I was proud to
- 58:27Speaker 1: call her my wife. She quickly reminded me that we
- 58:31Speaker 1: are estranged and I no longer have any privileges. The
- 58:36Speaker 1: day after, I went to our middle school's band competition
- 58:40Speaker 1: and my wife's new boyfriend was with her. I said,
- 58:43Speaker 1: far away from them, because this cut like a knife. Recently,
- 58:48Speaker 1: I got enough courage to tell her to call her
- 58:52Speaker 1: to see if if she'd be interested in patching things up,
- 58:56Speaker 1: and she let me know she has moved on and
- 58:58Speaker 1: we need to file for divorce for real. This time
- 59:02Speaker 1: I cried, but she was cold as I I can't
- 59:06Speaker 1: lose her.
- 59:07Speaker 3: What do I do now?
- 59:09Speaker 1: Well, it looks like you already lost her, and she
- 59:12Speaker 1: so much as told you that, And you don't say
- 59:16Speaker 1: what causes separation. Four years ago you just talked about
- 59:20Speaker 1: there was a talk about divorce, but never filed. And
- 59:23Speaker 1: for four years you both have been just dealing with
- 59:26Speaker 1: this situation for the sake of a kid. So you say,
- 59:30Speaker 1: until now, you never mentioned, like I said, what causes separation?
- 59:36Speaker 1: But I'm thinking you cheated because you say you have
- 59:38Speaker 1: something to apologize for, but your pride won't let you. Now,
- 59:42Speaker 1: all of a sudden, your wife is looking like a
- 59:44Speaker 1: movie star. She's a boss, smelling good, she has her
- 59:48Speaker 1: twenty four year old figureback. She's got her short haircut.
- 59:52Speaker 1: You also said you were selfish and immature when you
- 59:56Speaker 1: were married at twenty four, and that's another reason I
- 59:58Speaker 1: think you cheated. But now that you're older, you see
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: your wife in a different life. Well, I mean that's
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: understandable because people do change and people do grow, and
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: your wife is aging like fine wine. Apparently, it sounds
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: like you're stuck and can't move forward because you say
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: you're afraid of rejection and just too prideful to do
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: what you need to do. I think it's because the
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: kids told you your wife is dating. Okay, your wife
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: is dating, So now you're getting all these feelings about
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: you don't want to lose her. You feel like another
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: man is taking your place, so of course that makes
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: you want her more. You realize what you lost now.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: But unfortunately, your wife told you she's moved on. She
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: wants to file for divorce. Sounds like you need to
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: move on too. I mean, you could give it another shot,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: no risk, no reward, But sounds like she's made up
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: her mind. And that's about the end of that.
- 1:00:54Speaker 8: Steve well don came to the right place. The only
- 1:01:03Speaker 8: thing about coming to me with the letter like this
- 1:01:05Speaker 8: is being a man. I know exactly what he's really saying.
- 1:01:11Speaker 8: Now what you typed, it's all cute, but bruh, that
- 1:01:16Speaker 8: ain't really. That ain't really what's happening. And we're just
- 1:01:20Speaker 8: gonna have to be honest with you. If you want
- 1:01:23Speaker 8: Uncle Steve's help.
- 1:01:26Speaker 7: I don't know that I can, because you've ignored something
- 1:01:30Speaker 7: for a while.
- 1:01:32Speaker 8: You've been married twenty two years, but the last four
- 1:01:36Speaker 8: y'all been living apart. Y'all talked about divorce, but you
- 1:01:39Speaker 8: never did. But every holiday she invites you over so
- 1:01:43Speaker 8: the family can be together, and every Christmas you sleep
- 1:01:45Speaker 8: in the guest room and wake up, cook breakfast and
- 1:01:48Speaker 8: watch your kids open presence. And then you say, not
- 1:01:52Speaker 8: until recently that I started seeing my wife in a
- 1:01:55Speaker 8: different light. We got married when we were twenty four,
- 1:01:58Speaker 8: So you've been married twenty two years. That means you're
- 1:02:00Speaker 8: forty six now and I'm still and you were twenty
- 1:02:04Speaker 8: four and I was still immature and selfish. Now that
- 1:02:09Speaker 8: I'm older, I see my wife in a position of authority,
- 1:02:13Speaker 8: leading a household without me, and it kills me inside.
- 1:02:19Speaker 8: Oh okay, so now you realize as a lot of
- 1:02:24Speaker 8: men do families everywhere.
- 1:02:27Speaker 7: I got your dog.
- 1:02:29Speaker 8: I want so badly to just apologize and go back home.
- 1:02:33Speaker 8: And here's the reason we have this whole letter. I
- 1:02:37Speaker 8: want to so badly to apologize and go back home,
- 1:02:41Speaker 8: but my pride gets in the way. The Bible says
- 1:02:48Speaker 8: pride cometh before fall.
- 1:02:52Speaker 7: You will see the fall in this letter, and you
- 1:02:55Speaker 7: will understand it was caused by pride.
- 1:02:57Speaker 8: When we come back, I show you what he considers
- 1:03:01Speaker 8: to be pride, and I'm going to tell you that
- 1:03:04Speaker 8: it's something else.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: All right, all right, Steve, hang on to that thought.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: We'll have part two of your response at twenty three
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: minutes after the hour Today's Strawberry Letters subject I.
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: Want that old thing back.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:03:58Speaker 1: All right, come on, Steve, Let's recap today's Stuwberry letter,
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: the subject I want that old thing back.
- 1:04:06Speaker 8: Well, yeah you do, dog, but you didn't appreciate it
- 1:04:09Speaker 8: when it was a new thing, and you didn't do
- 1:04:11Speaker 8: it right when it was your thing. Now it's becoming
- 1:04:15Speaker 8: old thing, and we have a situation now you want
- 1:04:17Speaker 8: it back, right, Married twenty two years past four, they
- 1:04:21Speaker 8: lived apart. They celebrate holidays together. She calls him over
- 1:04:24Speaker 8: to the house. He sleeps in the guest room. On Christmas,
- 1:04:27Speaker 8: they wake up and they watch the kids open up
- 1:04:29Speaker 8: the presents together, and then all of that right there,
- 1:04:33Speaker 8: and then he says, not toil. Recently, I'm seeing my
- 1:04:36Speaker 8: wife in a different light. We got married when we
- 1:04:39Speaker 8: were twenty four. I was still immature and selfish, So
- 1:04:42Speaker 8: now I'm older. He's forty six now. By the way, folks,
- 1:04:45Speaker 8: because he's been married twenty two years, I got married
- 1:04:47Speaker 8: in twenty four. I see my wife leading a household
- 1:04:50Speaker 8: without me. And it kills me inside. Here's the reason
- 1:04:53Speaker 8: we have this letter. I want so badly to just
- 1:04:56Speaker 8: apologize and go back home, but my pride gets in
- 1:05:00Speaker 8: the way. I said, there's a scripture that said pride
- 1:05:06Speaker 8: cometh before a fall. Now, the four years of not
- 1:05:10Speaker 8: filing for divorce and this pride you have, you want
- 1:05:14Speaker 8: so badly to go back and apologize, but you just your.
- 1:05:18Speaker 7: Pride get in a way. Well, now the fall is occurring, sir,
- 1:05:22Speaker 7: And exactly what is pride? Everybody? What is this thing
- 1:05:25Speaker 7: about men?
- 1:05:26Speaker 8: Sometimes that prohibits us from doing what's the right thing
- 1:05:32Speaker 8: and watching something occur, knowing what would fix it. But
- 1:05:37Speaker 8: your pride gets in the way. Well, let me tell
- 1:05:39Speaker 8: you what pride is. And then he says, I fear
- 1:05:43Speaker 8: rejection too, that he's trying to be honest, But this
- 1:05:47Speaker 8: pride is a part of that. See the reason he
- 1:05:51Speaker 8: don't want to be rejected is could it be because
- 1:05:55Speaker 8: he does the rejected and now he don't want the
- 1:05:59Speaker 8: roles with.
- 1:06:02Speaker 7: You know, you do what you want to do, but
- 1:06:03Speaker 7: then when it's time for you to do what you
- 1:06:05Speaker 7: have to do. Oh my god, you call that pride. Okay, bro,
- 1:06:10Speaker 7: I go with you.
- 1:06:12Speaker 8: And then he says, I fear rejection too, because the
- 1:06:15Speaker 8: children told me she's been dating. She got a new
- 1:06:19Speaker 8: haircut short, and she still got her twenty four year
- 1:06:22Speaker 8: old figure, and she dresses very nicely. Okay, dog, when
- 1:06:26Speaker 8: she got the new haircut, you ain't see this coming.
- 1:06:30Speaker 8: Let me tell you some fellas. When you see your
- 1:06:34Speaker 8: woman in the gym, when you see your woman with
- 1:06:37Speaker 8: a new haircut, when you see your woman going on
- 1:06:41Speaker 8: about her business, you better sit up and take notice.
- 1:06:47Speaker 7: If she don't ask you how you like my hair,
- 1:06:51Speaker 7: if she don't never mention to you why she working out,
- 1:06:56Speaker 7: it ain't for you. Play, it ain't for you.
- 1:07:01Speaker 8: And I want so badly to go back home, but
- 1:07:04Speaker 8: I don't want to apologize because my pride gets in
- 1:07:07Speaker 8: the way. So now here's what happened. I don't want
- 1:07:11Speaker 8: her to forget about me and move on. So I
- 1:07:13Speaker 8: made up reasons to see her without the children. So yeah,
- 1:07:16Speaker 8: I said, to come down to the office, just because
- 1:07:17Speaker 8: your oldest child's children college tuition. She'd show up, half
- 1:07:22Speaker 8: cut shorts, smelling good, body, banging like a twenty four
- 1:07:25Speaker 8: year old, come in to office. Everybody notices her. He
- 1:07:28Speaker 8: proud to call her my wife. But then she told
- 1:07:31Speaker 8: you we are strange. You ain't got no privilege.
- 1:07:35Speaker 7: Stop telling you wife?
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: How did she say it?
- 1:07:41Speaker 9: We are strange?
- 1:07:41Speaker 8: You ain't got no privilege. Stop telling people I'm your wife.
- 1:07:44Speaker 8: Now you look the stupid down at your little office.
- 1:07:48Speaker 8: See this that pride or dumb pride? The finest woman
- 1:07:52Speaker 8: in the world is your ex on the arms of
- 1:07:54Speaker 8: another man.
- 1:07:55Speaker 7: See he blew a pimp. And now you're watching it.
- 1:07:58Speaker 7: But oh, we ain't got that yet, but we do.
- 1:08:01Speaker 8: Right after this though, the day after our the day
- 1:08:04Speaker 8: after I went to our middle child's band competition, and
- 1:08:07Speaker 8: my wife's new boyfriend was with her.
- 1:08:12Speaker 7: I sat far away from them because this cut like
- 1:08:15Speaker 7: a knight.
- 1:08:17Speaker 9: It's a.
- 1:08:20Speaker 7: I got enough courage to call her to see it.
- 1:08:23Speaker 7: Now here we go.
- 1:08:24Speaker 8: Now he got courage. Now see a minute ago it
- 1:08:28Speaker 8: was pride. Right, Pride is ignorance, man, And so now
- 1:08:34Speaker 8: you got enough courage to call her to see if
- 1:08:36Speaker 8: she'd be interested in patching things up. And just like
- 1:08:40Speaker 8: she did when she came up to the office, let
- 1:08:42Speaker 8: you know you don't have no more privileges, and stop
- 1:08:45Speaker 8: calling you me your wife.
- 1:08:47Speaker 7: She told you she had moved on and we need
- 1:08:51Speaker 7: to file for divorce for real this.
- 1:08:53Speaker 8: Time, because the boyfriend was saying, well, if y'all ain't
- 1:08:56Speaker 8: gonna divorce, why don't y'all just get divorced?
- 1:08:59Speaker 7: Because I will?
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: Hm.
- 1:09:03Speaker 8: I cried, but she was cold as ice. A little
- 1:09:06Speaker 8: bit too late for the tears. Dogs, Hold up, excuse me?
- 1:09:09Speaker 8: Didn't you say your pride got it?
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: So?
- 1:09:11Speaker 7: What is your crime for?
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: What happened to all that pride?
- 1:09:16Speaker 7: See what else that.
- 1:09:20Speaker 8: I can't lose her? Shirley said that you already can't
- 1:09:24Speaker 8: lose her. Who did you see at the band competition?
- 1:09:28Speaker 8: You think he ain't said nothing about the haircut and
- 1:09:34Speaker 8: the little banging body?
- 1:09:37Speaker 6: What do I do now? Or?
- 1:09:39Speaker 10: Dog?
- 1:09:39Speaker 8: I think you've done what you're gonna do. You waited
- 1:09:42Speaker 8: four years. You took too long.
- 1:09:43Speaker 7: You thought she was just gonna sit over that hold
- 1:09:45Speaker 7: of fine self and wasn't nobody else gonna want him proud?
- 1:09:51Speaker 8: You may be too late, homie, all right, and you
- 1:09:54Speaker 8: let your pride get in the way.
- 1:09:57Speaker 7: We gotta go.

- 1:11:19Speaker 8: I wanted, I wanted, I was ready to go to
- 1:11:21Speaker 8: the next episode. Then it didn't say nothing on the screen.
- 1:11:25Speaker 8: I was mad as hell.
- 1:11:26Speaker 9: How did you feel about the ending of the last episode?
- 1:11:30Speaker 7: See now that what I don't understand, Well.
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: It's a spoiler alert for people that haven't seen it.

- 1:11:53Speaker 8: and I walk in and I see you cutting up
- 1:11:55Speaker 8: a body, I'm gonna disassociate myself with you immediately.
- 1:12:00Speaker 7: Yes, he looked in there and saw him.
- 1:12:05Speaker 8: He left the bathroom, closed the door, ran cross the
- 1:12:10Speaker 8: dining room, ran across the foyer, ran cross the living room,
- 1:12:16Speaker 8: went in through the kitchen to throw up in that sink.
- 1:12:21Speaker 8: As soon as I see you cutting up somebody, I'm
- 1:12:25Speaker 8: throwing up right.
- 1:12:26Speaker 7: Down on you and the body who is he? He
- 1:12:31Speaker 7: is Vonnie.
- 1:12:31Speaker 8: Vonnie is the UH attorney attorney big boy who I
- 1:12:38Speaker 8: was surprised, who has been with Charles, which in the
- 1:12:41Speaker 8: whole other store.
- 1:12:42Speaker 7: I don't even know why we're going down that road.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: That where or not you are?
- 1:12:48Speaker 7: If I look like Vonnie, I got malody, that's what
- 1:12:51Speaker 7: I'm if.
- 1:12:55Speaker 9: She asked proposition.
- 1:12:57Speaker 7: Yeah, he turned it down, which I knew. Then I said,
- 1:12:59Speaker 7: what is wrong with him?
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: Okay, so back to the story.
- 1:13:06Speaker 7: What you need, asked me.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: So I wanted to know how you felt about Mallory's
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: husband Roy.
- 1:13:14Speaker 8: Roy ain't raped right rooy, he all over the place.
- 1:13:17Speaker 8: He need to get in there and take care of
- 1:13:18Speaker 8: his shares and run his company. He might be a
- 1:13:21Speaker 8: good actor, but.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: He as a human, he's just as a man.
- 1:13:26Speaker 7: He ain't worth for all the mistakes he making.
- 1:13:29Speaker 8: And that little raggedy hooker he done found Felicia down
- 1:13:33Speaker 8: there at the strip club.
- 1:13:35Speaker 7: I wish I would. I got Mallory back at the house,
- 1:13:39Speaker 7: and I got this chick with his red hair. You
- 1:13:42Speaker 7: must be out your rabbit mind.
- 1:13:46Speaker 8: I don't even know what he's doing, and little Charles
- 1:13:49Speaker 8: doing everybody Charles needs.
- 1:13:50Speaker 7: Charles need to take a break. He needs to stay
- 1:13:52Speaker 7: out strip club and quit taking people to the house.
- 1:13:57Speaker 8: Yes he is, Yes he is, But I tell you
- 1:13:59Speaker 8: what you know, chalk and fight though when you jump
- 1:14:02Speaker 8: on Charles, he got your hand full.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the My wife is
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: mad because her husband chose his job over her. We'll
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: talk about that right after this. You're listening to the
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, this is from
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: Stacy and Lexington. Stacy says, I'm having a hard time
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: for giving my husband for not picking me up from work.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: I had to get an uber because he wouldn't tell
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: his boss that he had to go. He said his
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: company's president was in town and he could not leave.
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: He has put his job before me for the last time.
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: He said, I don't understand because I'm not in a
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: leadership role. How is that any different? Am I supposed
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: to overlook how he neglected me?
- 1:14:47Speaker 8: Well, I think you could be overreacting a little bit here.
- 1:14:51Speaker 8: That could be just a slight overreaction. Your husband's first
- 1:14:55Speaker 8: obligation is to take care of his family, to provide
- 1:15:01Speaker 8: and protect.
- 1:15:02Speaker 7: Provision is a huge thing for a man.
- 1:15:05Speaker 8: If the president is in town, it ain't a good
- 1:15:09Speaker 8: look if he puts a personal matter in the front
- 1:15:12Speaker 8: of taking care of the company business. How else does
- 1:15:15Speaker 8: he be up for promotion unless he shows dedication. Now
- 1:15:19Speaker 8: you had to get a ride home. I understand you mad,
- 1:15:22Speaker 8: But it's not him putting the company in front of you.
- 1:15:25Speaker 8: And if you don't look at it that way, it's
- 1:15:29Speaker 8: your husband putting his family first in terms of making
- 1:15:35Speaker 8: sure he's in a provision capacity.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: He will, Yeah, he got it.
- 1:15:42Speaker 7: Look, he trying to climb the corporate let it. Try
- 1:15:45Speaker 7: to be the best he can be.
- 1:15:47Speaker 9: You know.
- 1:15:48Speaker 8: Now, he probably called you and told you he can
- 1:15:50Speaker 8: just leave you out on the curve. He probably told you, hey, look,
- 1:15:53Speaker 8: my boss is in town. I can't leave right now.
- 1:15:56Speaker 8: Can you get a uber to the house or can
- 1:15:59Speaker 8: you make another rangers. I'm almost certain that's what he did.
- 1:16:03Speaker 6: He did.
- 1:16:03Speaker 8: You wasn't just because she would have said in her
- 1:16:05Speaker 8: letter he left me standing on a curve and I
- 1:16:08Speaker 8: ended up going home and then he told me later
- 1:16:10Speaker 8: he couldn't leave. So that's not the case. I think
- 1:16:13Speaker 8: it could be a little bit overreaction. Give your husband
- 1:16:15Speaker 8: a break. He wasn't nowhere playing paddle ball or shooting pools,
- 1:16:19Speaker 8: or he was at work taking care of business.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: That's right.
- 1:16:25Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: And she was like, She's like, how am I supposed
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: to overlook? How he neglected me?
- 1:16:30Speaker 7: No, he didn't neglect you.
- 1:16:32Speaker 8: Yeah, come on how you look the fact that this
- 1:16:36Speaker 8: man ain't taking care of business for real.
- 1:16:39Speaker 9: Yeah, the people ain't got jobs, man.
- 1:16:44Speaker 8: Please, He had work trying to be a better get
- 1:16:47Speaker 8: a better position, up his money. He didn't do that
- 1:16:50Speaker 8: to neglect you, not at all.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, we have time for another one, Steve.
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: This is from Miracle in Nashville. Miracle says, I muss
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: with an older man and he's too large for me,
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: but I like him. I can't be intimate with him
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: as often as he likes. I don't want to mess
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: this up because he's an excellent partner.
- 1:17:10Speaker 6: What do I do?
- 1:17:12Speaker 7: I don't know what you why? You can ask me that.
- 1:17:16Speaker 8: Finally, talk to some other women that know some exercises
- 1:17:19Speaker 8: or something you could do exercise.
- 1:17:22Speaker 7: I don't know what it is.
- 1:17:23Speaker 8: You gotta get out, get in there. You gotta get
- 1:17:25Speaker 8: in shape. See, you can't be all out here in
- 1:17:28Speaker 8: the major League.
- 1:17:29Speaker 10: You can't.
- 1:17:29Speaker 8: Hey, Hey, in the majors, we throw ninety mile part
- 1:17:33Speaker 8: hour fastballs. We ain't got no setting to that little lead.
- 1:17:36Speaker 8: Maybe you need to get in the little lead leaders.
- 1:17:39Speaker 8: Old man, lord, he ain't finna be small. He in
- 1:17:44Speaker 8: here bring it only way he know all of it.
- 1:17:49Speaker 8: Sure ain't no little bit. Now you're gonna have to
- 1:17:52Speaker 8: go somewhere and find yourself something else to do. All
- 1:17:55Speaker 8: you're gonna get hit better at what you do now.
- 1:17:58Speaker 8: I don't need what you need to go down to
- 1:18:00Speaker 8: the store and buy something store. Have talked to your friends.
- 1:18:06Speaker 8: M hmm, because I have seen some stuff in some stores.
- 1:18:09Speaker 8: I don't know how they're using this hell you know,
- 1:18:12Speaker 8: but they got them, they got them. I'll still behind
- 1:18:15Speaker 8: the lady. One time she had something in her card,
- 1:18:18Speaker 8: I would whoa got doggy?
- 1:18:23Speaker 6: What it was?
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: I won't, No, you cannot, I won't. I mean she
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: can be intimate with him, but she says not as
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: often as he likes.
- 1:18:33Speaker 8: Well, but see, you ain't gonna be able to keep
- 1:18:34Speaker 8: him in. Yeah, move on, Like I said, call one
- 1:18:38Speaker 8: of your girls and find out what she did. Because
- 1:18:42Speaker 8: one of your girls has had.
- 1:18:45Speaker 7: See I don't know that.
- 1:18:47Speaker 8: Maybe if nothing you do, then you got to go
- 1:18:49Speaker 8: back and play in the little league can come up
- 1:18:53Speaker 8: here and the majors with the Big.
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: Boy coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. A New
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: Jersey woman is facing charges after a date stood her
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: up and guess what she did? She said, his apartment
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: on fire. Her name is Taji Russell. She was going
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: to see Curtis Stokes for what she referred to as
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: a booty call, but after getting to his place, he
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: wouldn't answer her calls or text messages. She then drove
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: to a Conico gas station and bought lighter, fluid matches
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: and lighter and the lighter and went back to the
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: man's apartment and set it on fire.
- 1:19:44Speaker 6: Wow.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: The man said he fell as He admitted that he
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: invited the woman over for sex and she signed there.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: It was no big deal. Luckily, according to this story,
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: he wasn't injured in the fire.
- 1:19:57Speaker 7: Who walk and talk.
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: Fire?
- 1:20:04Speaker 8: The way your walk and talk really sets me off
- 1:20:10Speaker 8: to a five alarm child?
- 1:20:12Speaker 7: Yes it does.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: This is crazy way squeeze and.
- 1:20:17Speaker 8: Tease knocks me to my knees. Come out smoking, baby,
- 1:20:24Speaker 8: she had set on it. I get it to swim
- 1:20:28Speaker 8: and apartment.
- 1:20:30Speaker 7: And that racks my nerve. When I was young, I
- 1:20:33Speaker 7: did that too, girl one time, to.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: Set her place on fire.
- 1:20:36Speaker 6: No, you did not.
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: Don't believe that.
- 1:20:38Speaker 7: I put it on her so good she wanted to
- 1:20:40Speaker 7: set me on.
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: Whatever.
- 1:20:50Speaker 7: Steve, That's where the song came from.

- 1:25:57Speaker 1: All Right, guys, here we are the last break of
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: the day on this Monday, and it's been.
- 1:26:05Speaker 17: A pretty good day, I think. So every day is
- 1:26:08Speaker 17: a good day. Every day is a great day. As
- 1:26:13Speaker 17: a matter of fact, let me speak to that. You know, Look,
- 1:26:20Speaker 17: I'm not an expert on politics. I never have claim
- 1:26:23Speaker 17: to be. I've had my views and my statements.
- 1:26:27Speaker 8: We have used our platform as a doormat for voting rights,
- 1:26:34Speaker 8: for the vaccine. We've pushed for all types of stuff.
- 1:26:37Speaker 8: Let me say this right here. I don't know if
- 1:26:40Speaker 8: I'm really keeping up and staying abreast to everything that's
- 1:26:43Speaker 8: going on in the world today, but I'm watching this
- 1:26:46Speaker 8: administration come with all types of cutbacks. Let me say
- 1:26:50Speaker 8: this to my listeners. We've been the subject of cutbacks
- 1:26:57Speaker 8: our entire life. We have all always been on the
- 1:27:01Speaker 8: bottom of the totem pole when it comes to receiving
- 1:27:04Speaker 8: benefits and rights.
- 1:27:06Speaker 7: This is not going to be new to us.
- 1:27:08Speaker 8: We've always learned and managed how somehow to survive all
- 1:27:13Speaker 8: the cuts, all the programs, and we will continue to
- 1:27:17Speaker 8: do so because I don't know of a stronger group
- 1:27:20Speaker 8: of people. We have withstood at all the segregation, the rulings,
- 1:27:28Speaker 8: the laws. Now they're getting rid of the nineteen sixty
- 1:27:31Speaker 8: four Voting Rights Act, Civil Rights Act. They want to
- 1:27:34Speaker 8: remove black history from schools. They want to take away
- 1:27:38Speaker 8: affirmative action. They're killing DEEI. They doing everything now, the
- 1:27:43Speaker 8: food stamp program. The amazing thing for this, and what's
- 1:27:47Speaker 8: crazy to me is somehow they convinced the Trump supporter
- 1:27:52Speaker 8: that they was talking about us. They just didn't know
- 1:27:57Speaker 8: they was talking about them too. It is amazing to me, man,
- 1:28:03Speaker 8: how they have managed in such a masterful way to
- 1:28:08Speaker 8: mask the agenda by using these peoples on bigotry and
- 1:28:14Speaker 8: hatred of others to get these things done to themselves.
- 1:28:19Speaker 8: And it is exactly what you're supposed to get. So
- 1:28:23Speaker 8: buckle up, hold on tight, because we already know how.
- 1:28:28Speaker 8: We are masters at buckling up and hold it on
- 1:28:31Speaker 8: tight and getting it right. We survived it all, but
- 1:28:35Speaker 8: now you about to see what it's like to have
- 1:28:37Speaker 8: to survive because this administrating is cutting everything. It is
- 1:28:43Speaker 8: amazing the way they have gone about the business of
- 1:28:46Speaker 8: doing this, and they used people's hatred, hidden racism and
- 1:28:51Speaker 8: bigotry of others to mask. The whole agenda Project twenty
- 1:28:57Speaker 8: twenty five had enough stuff in their can make you
- 1:29:00Speaker 8: think they was talking about just us getting rid of DEEI.
- 1:29:05Speaker 8: They didn't tell you that the biggest beneficiaries of DEI
- 1:29:08Speaker 8: were white women. They didn't tell you that that you
- 1:29:11Speaker 8: thought diversity, equity and inclusion. You thought it was just
- 1:29:16Speaker 8: black people of brown people. That's that's what they're talking.
- 1:29:19Speaker 7: Okay. Cool.
- 1:29:20Speaker 8: Then you thought if they was gonna get rid of
- 1:29:22Speaker 8: all this waste in the government, you thought that we
- 1:29:25Speaker 8: were the waste. Oh so then they started taking your
- 1:29:29Speaker 8: jobs too, Oh okay. But that didn't convince you, right,
- 1:29:35Speaker 8: So then they said, we're gonna get these tariffs and
- 1:29:38Speaker 8: make America great again. Oh they didn't tell you that
- 1:29:41Speaker 8: the terroriffts was going to affect the prices of everything,
- 1:29:44Speaker 8: that it was gonna destroy the farmers. They didn't tell
- 1:29:48Speaker 8: you that, and that they don't have a real support
- 1:29:50Speaker 8: plan for the farmers. Oh okay. And the same farmers
- 1:29:55Speaker 8: that have been denying black farmers the same benefits and rights.
- 1:29:59Speaker 8: So now all farmers are suffering. Oh okay, they didn't
- 1:30:02Speaker 8: tell y'all that. Okay, I got it. And so now
- 1:30:06Speaker 8: with the new threat of getting rid of welfare and
- 1:30:09Speaker 8: food stamp system, food assistance. They didn't tell you that
- 1:30:13Speaker 8: it's more of y'all on welfare than us. They didn't
- 1:30:16Speaker 8: tell you that it was more of you all benefiting
- 1:30:18Speaker 8: in school programs than us. They didn't tell y'all that
- 1:30:21Speaker 8: it was more of y'all that were going to suffer
- 1:30:24Speaker 8: in these cutbacks than us. Oh, they didn't tell you
- 1:30:27Speaker 8: that the waste they was talking about getting run was
- 1:30:29Speaker 8: Medicare and Medicaid, and that that's y'all too. They didn't
- 1:30:34Speaker 8: tell y'all that they really had no replacement for the
- 1:30:37Speaker 8: Affordable Care Act, which they so eloquently tried to put
- 1:30:40Speaker 8: off as Obamacare to make it sound rough. But you know,
- 1:30:43Speaker 8: Obamacare has been the one thing that's kept most of
- 1:30:45Speaker 8: you all healthy for all these years, and they want
- 1:30:48Speaker 8: to take that, but they don't have an alternative plan.
- 1:30:50Speaker 7: They didn't tell you that. Well, they told it to you,
- 1:30:54Speaker 7: but they made you think it was just us. They
- 1:30:58Speaker 7: told it to you.
- 1:31:00Speaker 8: Oh, you would think, because of your own unwillingness to
- 1:31:04Speaker 8: pay attention to the real issues, you thought that the
- 1:31:07Speaker 8: real issue was us. You thought that the real issue
- 1:31:10Speaker 8: was letting all them people in at the border. Oh
- 1:31:13Speaker 8: they didn't tell you that. Now the crops are dying
- 1:31:17Speaker 8: over there because there's nobody picking them. And now the
- 1:31:19Speaker 8: price of beef is at an all time high. That
- 1:31:22Speaker 8: grocery prices have still not dropped because now you got
- 1:31:25Speaker 8: people scared to do the work because they're scared of ice.
- 1:31:28Speaker 8: They didn't tell you that. Oh okay, well, sorry about that.
- 1:31:33Speaker 8: But they did tell you. You just couldn't hear it
- 1:31:37Speaker 8: because you was blinded. You was blinded because you didn't
