- 2:05Speaker 6: You are listening to the voice, come on, dig me
- 2:07Speaker 6: now what and only Steve Harvey got a radio show?
- 2:11Speaker 6: Man or man? Almost forgot I had one this morning.
- 2:15Speaker 6: But I'm okay. I'll tell you who I am in
- 2:18Speaker 6: a little bit. You know, I get around. Man, it's
- 2:20Speaker 6: so much. But man, good morning everybody. You know today.
- 2:26Speaker 6: I was having a conversation with my wife last night,
- 2:29Speaker 6: and we were talking about our plans. You know, we
- 2:32Speaker 6: often sit down, you know, just like a married couple.
- 2:36Speaker 6: I mean, you know, you know we're married. You know
- 2:37Speaker 6: we have children, we have aspirations, we have hopes, we
- 2:41Speaker 6: will I mean know, we have things we want. You know,
- 2:43Speaker 6: when you're married, you know, I mean it's important to
- 2:47Speaker 6: sit with your partner. I'm not telling you anything you
- 2:49Speaker 6: don't know, it's common sense. Really, It's important to sit
- 2:53Speaker 6: down with the person that you've chosen and decided to
- 2:56Speaker 6: share your life with it and have multiple conversations on
- 2:59Speaker 6: a lot of things. And we try to make sure
- 3:02Speaker 6: that all of our conversations aren't always just business related
- 3:06Speaker 6: and always kid related, you know, because that that that
- 3:11Speaker 6: becomes it's a part of it. But it weighs so
- 3:15Speaker 6: much on the marriage that because that's the grunt work
- 3:19Speaker 6: of being married. You know, your children, your family, your bills,
- 3:23Speaker 6: your your mortgage, your your car notes, you know the
- 3:28Speaker 6: what's due, what's coming up, and if you're not careful,
- 3:33Speaker 6: you'll you'll start that becomes the focal point of you
- 3:36Speaker 6: all's conversation. And this woman or man or person that
- 3:41Speaker 6: you've decided to have this life with, all of a sudden,
- 3:44Speaker 6: they're an extension of your business and you guys become
- 3:49Speaker 6: business partners or whatever, and it just gets so anywhere.
- 3:54Speaker 6: I'm just saying that that is important to sit down
- 3:56Speaker 6: and have these conversations, but it's even more important to
- 4:00Speaker 6: have the other conversation. You know, it's important with the
- 4:03Speaker 6: person that you're planning on making the run with to
- 4:07Speaker 6: sit down and talk about other things, you know, on
- 4:10Speaker 6: a more upbeat note. You know, we were having a
- 4:13Speaker 6: conversation and she was reminding me of what she loved
- 4:18Speaker 6: about me, and then I, in turn, was turned around
- 4:22Speaker 6: telling her the things that I admired about her and
- 4:25Speaker 6: loved about her. And we kind of have these all
- 4:28Speaker 6: the time, you know, when we sit down and we
- 4:30Speaker 6: talk about the things that we still enjoy about one another,
- 4:35Speaker 6: or we may talk about some of the things that
- 4:37Speaker 6: we miss in one another, but we constantly have these
- 4:40Speaker 6: conversations about appreciation. You know, It's so important man, that
- 4:45Speaker 6: the other person feels appreciated.
- 4:47Speaker 2: So these things are important.
- 4:49Speaker 6: But we got into the conversation deeper last night, and
- 4:52Speaker 6: I was telling her about this idea that I had
- 4:57Speaker 6: and that I wanted her to help me with and
- 4:59Speaker 6: make a frien call for me because she knows these
- 5:02Speaker 6: people and I was going to be doing this, and
- 5:04Speaker 6: then my wife reminded me of something not once again.
- 5:09Speaker 6: You know, as always, you know, when I'm talking to you,
- 5:11Speaker 6: I just keep it as real as I can. I
- 5:13Speaker 6: don't know the Bible inside out. I can't quote to
- 5:17Speaker 6: you scriptures and tell you exactly where it is I just,
- 5:20Speaker 6: you know, I heard her say it, but it kind
- 5:22Speaker 6: of blew by me. I was I was telling her
- 5:26Speaker 6: about something I wanted to make happen, and she reminded
- 5:29Speaker 6: me that there's a scripture somewhere, and somebody emailed it
- 5:32Speaker 6: to me today.
- 5:33Speaker 2: I'm sure.
- 5:34Speaker 6: Well, the Bible reminds us not to be anxious for anything.
- 5:38Speaker 6: Don't be anxious for something. And you know, it really
- 5:43Speaker 6: mattered to me at that point yesterday that she brought
- 5:45Speaker 6: this to my attention, because how many times I've been
- 5:49Speaker 6: guilty of that in my past and I've learned better now,
- 5:53Speaker 6: but every now and then I need to be reminded,
- 5:55Speaker 6: you know. And I think that what she was saying
- 5:59Speaker 6: to me was, you know, I've gotten to a point
- 6:02Speaker 6: in my life and when we all should get to
- 6:05Speaker 6: a point where you know, you've heard old people say this,
- 6:08Speaker 6: if you're gonna pray about something, then don't worry about it.
- 6:11Speaker 6: And if you're gonna worry about it, don't pray about it.
- 6:15Speaker 6: Back to this, be anxious for nothing, don't. If you're
- 6:20Speaker 6: going to trust in God, didn't do that, And trusting
- 6:25Speaker 6: in him means sometimes you got to be patient. God
- 6:30Speaker 6: has never been too late. You don't know the plan
- 6:34Speaker 6: he has, You don't know. You don't really always know
- 6:37Speaker 6: his will. You definitely don't know his route, his way
- 6:40Speaker 6: of doing anything. So he's always on time. He's always
- 6:44Speaker 6: been there on time for me. He's always been there
- 6:48Speaker 6: on time for you. How many times have you thought
- 6:51Speaker 6: it was over only to find out it's really just begun.
- 6:56Speaker 2: How many times have people wrote you off?
- 7:00Speaker 7: There are those of you who have lost jobs, but
- 7:04Speaker 7: you are still maintaining. But man, God has already began
- 7:09Speaker 7: to turn around process for many of us. Some of
- 7:13Speaker 7: us lost jobs and now have better jobs. Some of
- 7:16Speaker 7: us lost jobs and now has forced us to rekindle
- 7:21Speaker 7: that dream and that vision for business we had. Sometimes
- 7:25Speaker 7: the mishap is the thing you need to make something
- 7:29Speaker 7: good happen. See a lot of times we get so
- 7:32Speaker 7: comfortable in our life where we just we get complacent.
- 7:38Speaker 7: We just settled in and when this is it and
- 7:41Speaker 7: this is what I'm doing. But in actuality, God has
- 7:44Speaker 7: a tremendous amount of abundance for you. He has an
- 7:48Speaker 7: amazing amount of things. He has all these boxes packaged
- 7:52Speaker 7: up with your name on him that he's willing to
- 7:54Speaker 7: ship if you would just align yourself with some of
- 7:59Speaker 7: his wills so you can get.
- 8:00Speaker 6: Some of these things. How many times have you thought
- 8:03Speaker 6: it was over and it didn't really go over. How
- 8:05Speaker 6: many times have you thought have well, this is it
- 8:09Speaker 6: and it wasn't it at all. Well, how many times
- 8:12Speaker 6: do you thought, well, it don't look like this gonna
- 8:14Speaker 6: work out, and it didn't work out, but then something
- 8:16Speaker 6: better came along? How many times has that happened? You've
- 8:21Speaker 6: got to realize this, man. I was talking to a
- 8:24Speaker 6: family who had got displaced from the Katrina thing that
- 8:28Speaker 6: happened down there in New Orleans. And man, when they said, yeah,
- 8:31Speaker 6: we got a displaced from Katrina, and I braced myself because,
- 8:35Speaker 6: oh woe is me? Here comes this story. I gotta
- 8:38Speaker 6: hear this, and I gotta be encouraged and think of something.
- 8:41Speaker 6: It was totally different. They totally totally blew me away.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Man. The brother said, Matt is actually the best thing
- 8:48Speaker 2: that ever happened to my family.
- 8:51Speaker 6: And I went whoa And he said, yeah, man, he said,
- 8:54Speaker 6: because what happened was he said, I got settled in.
- 8:57Speaker 6: He said, Plus, I was doing something outside of my
- 9:01Speaker 6: marriage down there, he said, I was doing some stuff
- 9:04Speaker 6: in the streets. I ain't need to be doing, he said, Man,
- 9:06Speaker 6: it all got washed away. We thought our life would
- 9:09Speaker 6: never be the same. But he said, man, my life
- 9:11Speaker 6: ain't need to be the same.
- 9:13Speaker 2: He said. Man. Now we live up here in Texas.
- 9:16Speaker 2: We got a house, don't know.
- 9:18Speaker 6: Nobody, he said, I ain't got nobody I know to
- 9:21Speaker 6: get into trouble with. He said, man, I done rediscovered
- 9:23Speaker 6: my wife, how beautiful she really is, how much my
- 9:26Speaker 6: family really was counting on me. And he said, man,
- 9:29Speaker 6: it straightened me up. Man, he said, so, I gotta
- 9:31Speaker 6: tell you, Steve, it was the best thing that ever
- 9:33Speaker 6: happened to me. Now that's not always the case, but
- 9:37Speaker 6: it's how you look at a situation. But just don't
- 9:40Speaker 6: be anxious for anything, because God got a fix for
- 9:43Speaker 6: you if you just let him work. So just stay
- 9:47Speaker 6: on course, stay focused, don't lose faith, don't be anxious. Man,
- 9:52Speaker 6: just stay in the wheel. Let God work with you.
- 9:55Speaker 6: He got some great stuff in the store for you.

- 12:02Speaker 3: You out.
- 12:04Speaker 6: Yeah, here's my next one. Yeah, we are not going
- 12:12Speaker 6: in the woods.

- 12:19Speaker 6: Yeah, here's my next horror movie line.

- 12:38Speaker 1: You don't want to hear it?
- 12:39Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, Yeah.

- 13:03Speaker 2: I'm gonna live through the whole movie to Yeah.
- 13:05Speaker 6: And also, just to be something clear, I personally do
- 13:10Speaker 6: not celebrate Halloween in any You know, I've never gone
- 13:13Speaker 6: to a costume party.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Really really yeah, trigger treating when you were a kid.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Well, trigger treating?
- 13:20Speaker 6: Hell yeah, candy, I said, costume party as an adult?
- 13:24Speaker 6: Yeah no, I was candy man baby.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Yeah say that all right.
- 13:33Speaker 10: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll
- 13:37Speaker 10: hear from Pastor Reverend Motown and Deacon deaf Jam as
- 13:41Speaker 10: they do church complaints right after this you're listening.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Morning show.
- 13:47Speaker 10: It is time now for church complaints with Reverend Motown
- 13:50Speaker 10: and Deacon deaf Jam.
- 13:53Speaker 6: We are here on this by cvious day to give
- 13:59Speaker 6: a pont curious look into the episodic mind over church
- 14:05Speaker 6: going derivatively bad. We are here to oustenize the critiques
- 14:13Speaker 6: of a congregation these years. It's called the church complaints.
- 14:17Speaker 6: Come on, Daja pastor. Since the Barbara Barbara Reagan, Yeah,
- 14:24Speaker 6: since the now. As you know, she's eighty two years
- 14:27Speaker 6: old and she is pregnant, and she's asking for us
- 14:31Speaker 6: to put a fund raiser together because she don't think
- 14:34Speaker 6: she'll be here when the baby get.
- 14:37Speaker 2: To high school.
- 14:37Speaker 6: But she's he's eighty two and she's pregnant, and she's
- 14:42Speaker 6: asking us he uh to put some She wants to
- 14:45Speaker 6: raise some money for the baby so the baby can
- 14:49Speaker 6: get through high school. When we can stop right there,
- 14:51Speaker 6: We're not gonna do this. We do this every time
- 14:53Speaker 6: ever since she's been seventy. This is the third pregnancy.
- 14:57Speaker 6: We've all find out. This is not a pregnancy. The
- 15:00Speaker 6: tumor is back.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Now. You got to get you down here and get this.
- 15:06Speaker 6: Tumor removed and you'll be fine, or stop asking to
- 15:10Speaker 6: raise money because you're pregnant.
- 15:12Speaker 2: That's not what that is.
- 15:14Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't know why you waited until its football
- 15:17Speaker 6: size to come in here. We could we could laser
- 15:21Speaker 6: this out. The doctor told us we could lazer it
- 15:23Speaker 6: out when it was just small enough. But you let
- 15:26Speaker 6: it sit down and let you get that big. And
- 15:29Speaker 6: now he wants to be pregnant. You're not pregnant. The
- 15:32Speaker 6: tuma has returned. We're gonna laz We're gonna cut it out.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Come on, deacon.
- 15:36Speaker 6: All right, all right, here's another situation. We we we
- 15:40Speaker 6: really got to pick the uh brother h Simon Davis.
- 15:45Speaker 6: Simon Davis. Uh, you know, we had a Halloween party
- 15:49Speaker 6: last weekend for the kids. He came to the Halloween
- 15:53Speaker 6: party with fifteen babies and he said he was Nick Cannon.
- 16:00Speaker 6: That's what he said. Yeah, he said he described himself
- 16:08Speaker 6: that he was Nick Cannon. He lost three of the
- 16:11Speaker 6: babies and now the whole church is trying to figure
- 16:15Speaker 6: out where the babies are. But it's just a mess. Uh.
- 16:19Speaker 2: That's Simon David.
- 16:20Speaker 6: He said he is Nick Cannon, but he lost three
- 16:24Speaker 6: of the children passing and we don't know where these
- 16:26Speaker 6: kids are. Well, I'm thinking, you know, we had this
- 16:32Speaker 6: situation a long time ago at the church where we
- 16:34Speaker 6: had brother Sean kimp Yah church member, and the football
- 16:42Speaker 6: player Camaradi he was another member. He had fifteen children also,
- 16:50Speaker 6: Or we're going to have a new rule at the church.
- 16:55Speaker 6: Or if you have more than ten children, you can't
- 17:00Speaker 6: ten did Jackpot joined them? We just did it, Or
- 17:06Speaker 6: we're gonna start a new rule because there's just too
- 17:08Speaker 6: many kids to keep after. Oh I'm the past and
- 17:15Speaker 6: I got seven.
- 17:16Speaker 2: I know good in here.
- 17:17Speaker 6: Well that's too many. I'm too passed. Why I should
- 17:23Speaker 6: have cut off the four?
- 17:26Speaker 1: Oh you should have just said.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Five and five was a limit.
- 17:29Speaker 6: I knew my daddy had five two boys, two girl,
- 17:32Speaker 6: three boys, two girls.
- 17:34Speaker 2: That a good number. Now it's time to get out now, So.
- 17:38Speaker 3: That suld they went over the limit.
- 17:40Speaker 2: I got over the limit. We're not gonna have that anymore,
- 17:43Speaker 2: no more.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Right past.
- 17:48Speaker 2: I don't know how to even approach this, but I do.
- 17:51Speaker 6: Jada pink smimp Jaden Pinkett SMM in August. I've seen
- 17:56Speaker 6: is asking the time and join the church. But I
- 18:03Speaker 6: don't know they want to join the church and explain
- 18:05Speaker 6: their situation.
- 18:07Speaker 2: But it's just I don't know.
- 18:08Speaker 6: It's up to you if you want to let the
- 18:10Speaker 6: deacon deacon, we're not gonna have that here to jackpot
- 18:14Speaker 6: joint Koon, there's too much confusion. Look, listen to me.
- 18:20Speaker 6: The only person that's relevant at this here church is me.
- 18:28Speaker 1: You're gonna say, will don't nobody.
- 18:30Speaker 6: Else come in here with no stories to top my story.
- 18:37Speaker 6: We're not gonna have that in here, So just go
- 18:40Speaker 6: ahead on. We're not doing that no more. Please continue on,
- 18:43Speaker 6: go somewhere with all that you know. Okay, all right,
- 18:47Speaker 6: let me move on, and and and and another thing
- 18:51Speaker 6: I want to say to miss miss h pick it down. Oh,
- 18:54Speaker 6: don't nobody care no more? They don't, nobody can no more.
- 19:00Speaker 6: But she wants to give every member of a book
- 19:03Speaker 6: of her one of her books.
- 19:05Speaker 2: What if we need the book for? She then told everything.
- 19:08Speaker 6: That I well, she had that show called the Kitchen Table.
- 19:15Speaker 2: She did all that right there and then shut down.
- 19:19Speaker 6: I'm I'm a I'm a huge fan of a husband
- 19:21Speaker 6: to a lot of HOLI movie did a good job
- 19:24Speaker 6: of that, a concussion another our standing job, and then
- 19:29Speaker 6: a slave movie or he did yeah, I.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Had all that mud on his face very clear. Yeah. Great,
- 19:38Speaker 2: you gotta be good at the doose. What about boys?
- 19:42Speaker 6: I didn't see no men as in black. I don't
- 19:44Speaker 6: watch that ain't real. No, I don't. I don't do
- 19:53Speaker 6: stuff like that. Let me get this. I passed Jamila.
- 19:57Speaker 6: This is Jamila David uh said she is uh. She
- 20:03Speaker 6: is a virgin and she wants everybody to know that
- 20:06Speaker 6: that that is the way of life. So well, first
- 20:10Speaker 6: of all, sister Jamila, gonna have to get another example
- 20:13Speaker 6: of virgin. It's not you or you are not it you.
- 20:20Speaker 6: You thought of being that example two three children too late.
- 20:26Speaker 6: I had to go get somebody else. Go get that
- 20:30Speaker 6: track star Joe Lo Golo Bolo, whatever her name, you
- 20:35Speaker 6: go get her and have her talk to him.
- 20:39Speaker 10: Stressed out though, jam Uh. That's church complaints for today.

- 21:16Speaker 10: the weekend with Usher in Vegas.

- 23:57Speaker 10: should he get to see what I'm doing? Twenty four
- 23:59Speaker 10: to seven?
- 24:00Speaker 1: Was I wrong?
- 24:01Speaker 10: No?
- 24:02Speaker 2: Hell no, hell, she.
- 24:06Speaker 1: Should have turned off the cameras.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Yeah, once it come to divorce, listen to me, anything

- 24:45Speaker 10: John John says, I met my soulmate and she said
- 24:49Speaker 10: I check off most of her boxes. But she wants
- 24:52Speaker 10: me to cut my dreadlocks. I don't want to, and
- 24:55Speaker 10: my job doesn't have a problem with my long hair.
- 24:58Speaker 10: I do see a future with her. So do I
- 25:01Speaker 10: let my dreads go or do I let the woman go?
- 25:05Speaker 2: Well? Which one is more important to you?
- 25:07Speaker 6: Yeah, that's all And all relationships require compromises, people going well,
- 25:12Speaker 6: she knew he had jedge bridge when he many. You know,
- 25:14Speaker 6: women always find something they won't change by the man usually,
- 25:18Speaker 6: so you know, it's just something dogs, what's more important
- 25:21Speaker 6: to you than dreads?
- 25:22Speaker 2: Are that girl?
- 25:23Speaker 10: What does it sound like though? Because he's having a problem.
- 25:27Speaker 10: I mean, you know, well he.
- 25:28Speaker 2: Liked the dreads.
- 25:29Speaker 6: He thinks he's better, and she thinks he would look
- 25:32Speaker 6: better without him. That's what the deal is. Yeah, she
- 25:36Speaker 6: thought she looked better without it.
- 25:38Speaker 1: You know, if it were you, what would you do?
- 25:40Speaker 2: Well? See, it's see for me, it's difficult because I
- 25:43Speaker 2: ain't got no.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Hair, so yeah, but I mean if I don't like
- 25:46Speaker 1: that heat.
- 25:46Speaker 6: On people with dreads and all that, because yeah, you know,
- 25:49Speaker 6: twists and all like that it don't. I don't think
- 25:51Speaker 6: it's nothing I do. But hell, I ain't got no hair.
- 25:53Speaker 6: I can't make that call.
- 25:56Speaker 1: But if you really like this woman, you wouldn't cut
- 25:58Speaker 1: your hair for her?
- 26:00Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, I do anything.
- 26:01Speaker 1: So yeah, okay, thank you. Well that's.
- 26:07Speaker 2: For mind blowing sex. It really pretty much ain't no limit.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Yeah, you put some hair on.
- 26:15Speaker 6: Hey, hey, listen to me, Hey, what you need? I
- 26:23Speaker 6: mean half I get more hair. Yeah yeah, but if
- 26:28Speaker 6: it's mind blowing, if it's that is that, if it's
- 26:31Speaker 6: at that level right there?
- 26:33Speaker 2: Zip zip?
- 26:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:35Speaker 10: Well this guy said he does see a future with her,
- 26:38Speaker 10: but he still, you know, has this debate about his
- 26:41Speaker 10: hair or the woman.
- 26:42Speaker 6: So you know, hair has changed, you know, so like
- 26:45Speaker 6: they putting people on TV, you know any kind of way,
- 26:48Speaker 6: everybody owes it to Whoopy Goldberg because Whoopy Goldberg made
- 26:52Speaker 6: them accept dregs. Yes, this was Whoopy Goldberg story that
- 26:57Speaker 6: nobody could be on TV. He's soap opera nothing until
- 27:01Speaker 6: Whoopy kept pushing the agenda.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Whoopy Goldberg did this for black people.
- 27:06Speaker 6: Please understand you, please understand.
- 27:10Speaker 2: She wore the ass down by her hair and she
- 27:14Speaker 2: made them.
- 27:15Speaker 10: Yeah, herself made them except her as she was Yes, cool, Well, okay,
- 27:23Speaker 10: so what's up to you, John, John.
- 27:27Speaker 6: I'd have seen some beautiful women with some twists and
- 27:30Speaker 6: raids all that.
- 27:31Speaker 1: So yeah, sexy guys all of that.
- 27:33Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, these young kids, they're really rocking.
- 27:37Speaker 2: I'm trying to picture you with dreads though, I'm trying
- 27:39Speaker 2: to now.
- 27:40Speaker 6: I wear to how suits though I went too many
- 27:42Speaker 6: suits me suits.
- 27:48Speaker 2: I don't like. I don't. I don't like it for me, Yeah,
- 27:54Speaker 2: not with my suits. I don't want that hanging down
- 28:00Speaker 2: down twist I don't want.
- 28:02Speaker 10: Yeah, but you could put it up like in a
- 28:04Speaker 10: bun or something. You could put it up in a bun.
- 28:06Speaker 2: I don't see. I don't know. They don't look.
- 28:11Speaker 6: My nose way too big for a bun. The bun
- 28:17Speaker 6: you don't have one this side. So this hi thing
- 28:22Speaker 6: come with some issues like take your selfish. I ain't
- 28:27Speaker 6: never figured out the angle to hold this.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Damn Cara.

- 31:34Speaker 10: with Hode Codby that premiered on Friday night, and the
- 31:37Speaker 10: Internet has been blazing with commentary about huh.
- 31:41Speaker 2: I didn't know that.
- 31:42Speaker 10: She was just much yeah yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah.
- 31:46Speaker 10: She talked about her new book Worthy. She's promoting that
- 31:50Speaker 10: her new book. It's on sale tomorrow. She revealed a
- 31:53Speaker 10: lot of things about her life her marriage that made
- 31:56Speaker 10: the Internet trolls call her pay attention to me to
- 31:59Speaker 10: her Wow. Jada revealed that she and her husband will
- 32:05Speaker 10: Will Smith, of course, have been separated since twenty sixteen,
- 32:09Speaker 10: and she made a promise that there will never be
- 32:11Speaker 10: a reason for them to get a divorce, and she's
- 32:13Speaker 10: been unable to break that promise, so they decided to
- 32:16Speaker 10: live apart but remain married. Jada has shared that as
- 32:21Speaker 10: a teenager she sold crack and when she was nineteen
- 32:23Speaker 10: years old, she had her door kicked in.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Jada Pink sold no damn cracked.

- 32:35Speaker 6: Said when she was a little video soul crack, way,
- 32:41Speaker 6: little video silly cracked.
- 32:43Speaker 1: It is full team.
- 32:44Speaker 2: She is paying y'all need to head on in what year?
- 32:50Speaker 2: The eighties? But when she was ninety cracked.
- 32:55Speaker 10: When she was nineteen, she also said that she had
- 32:57Speaker 10: her door kicked in and two guns were held her head.
- 33:00Speaker 10: And the final straw that got everyone's uh eye side
- 33:05Speaker 10: side eyeing Jada was when she said that Tupac asked
- 33:08Speaker 10: her to marry him when he was at Riker's Island
- 33:11Speaker 10: in prison, and she said, in her opinion, Tupac wanted
- 33:15Speaker 10: to marry her to clean up this bad boy image
- 33:19Speaker 10: came on that.
- 33:21Speaker 6: How you gonna clean up your bad boy you in prison?
- 33:25Speaker 6: What did you say she did before that? Did?
- 33:27Speaker 1: She's so crack?
- 33:28Speaker 10: And then too, she had two guns pointed at her
- 33:31Speaker 10: head when her and her door was kicked in.
- 33:33Speaker 6: Okay, Kim Kardashian got tied up in the bathtub in Paris.
- 33:37Speaker 1: In Paris, it was a robbery.

- 34:46Speaker 10: Like I said now Saturday. Also over the weekend, Will
- 34:50Speaker 10: Smith send an email to The New York Times to
- 34:53Speaker 10: address all of Jada's claims in her book. Will's email stated, quote,
- 34:57Speaker 10: when you've been with someone for more than half of
- 34:59Speaker 10: your life, if a sort of emotional blindness sets in,
- 35:02Speaker 10: and you can all too easily lose your sensitivity to
- 35:07Speaker 10: their hid nuances and subtle beauties. We'll add it that
- 35:11Speaker 10: Jada's revelations kind of woke him up. Then on Sunday,
- 35:15Speaker 10: Will posted a video of himself sleeping on a boat
- 35:17Speaker 10: while his phone continuously sounded off in the background, and
- 35:21Speaker 10: a voiceover on the video is saying fun fact about me,
- 35:24Speaker 10: I can take a nap almost anywhere, and the caption
- 35:27Speaker 10: read notifications off back.
- 35:30Speaker 3: To the talk imprison at Rikers. Wasn't he married? It's

- 41:11Speaker 6: so many changes in the world and I've been here
- 41:14Speaker 6: for all of them. I was pre cell phone, pre televisions,
- 41:19Speaker 6: pre colored TV.
- 41:21Speaker 2: I was pre I was.
- 41:22Speaker 6: I was before they start letting h black people eat
- 41:25Speaker 6: at lunch counter. As I was down there, I had

- 41:54Speaker 6: Every time they asked me to get off the bus,

- 49:15Speaker 11: My daughter does not be biting people around in the
- 49:17Speaker 11: back of the neck or anything like that. What the
- 49:19Speaker 11: hell is wrong with you'll call my house with this attitude?

- 49:29Speaker 11: But I don't think you got your facts straight. So
- 49:31Speaker 11: next time you call somebody to tell them about their child,
- 49:34Speaker 11: figure out everything about your child.
- 49:36Speaker 6: First. I'm saying is that the people at the academy, saying,
- 49:39Speaker 6: Sekira bet my son, Joshua what in the back?
- 49:42Speaker 11: Well, I can't understand what you're saying because I don't

- 53:56Speaker 2: got it for you here. It is straw Mary.
- 53:59Speaker 10: Letna think you nephew subjects he let her plan my party.
- 54:05Speaker 10: Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been married for three years and
- 54:08Speaker 10: I met my husband at my nephew's birthday party. He
- 54:11Speaker 10: had dropped off a bunch of tables and chairs in
- 54:14Speaker 10: his pickup truck, and he spoke to me in the parking.
- 54:16Speaker 1: Lot as he left. He told me that day that
- 54:19Speaker 1: he was going to marry me.
- 54:20Speaker 10: I got butterflies because he was tall and bald, and
- 54:24Speaker 10: he looked through my soul when he talked to me.
- 54:27Speaker 10: We stayed outside talking for so long that I was
- 54:30Speaker 10: late to the party. A few days after the party,
- 54:32Speaker 10: we went out on our first date and he admitted
- 54:35Speaker 10: that his ex wife is a party planner and she
- 54:38Speaker 10: owns an upscale events company, and he helps her with
- 54:41Speaker 10: the business because he owns a small percentage of it.
- 54:45Speaker 10: He says they're good friends and have a good co
- 54:48Speaker 10: parenting relationship. We got married eight months after we met,
- 54:52Speaker 10: and we have our We've had our ups and downs
- 54:55Speaker 10: with his ex wife.
- 54:56Speaker 1: She's cordial, but we've never clicked. My husband.
- 55:00Speaker 10: She's not an outgoing person and she doesn't have a
- 55:03Speaker 10: lot of girlfriends. Because of that, I have to endure
- 55:06Speaker 10: her calls to my husband whenever she wants to vent
- 55:08Speaker 10: over a business matter. I honestly think she should only
- 55:11Speaker 10: call him when there's an issue with their son, but
- 55:14Speaker 10: I try not to nag him. But where I draw
- 55:17Speaker 10: the line is having her plan my fortieth birthday party.
- 55:22Speaker 10: I turned forty on October second, and my husband had
- 55:25Speaker 10: a small dinner catered in our community clubhouse. The next night,
- 55:29Speaker 10: he threw me a surprise party at a lounge, and
- 55:32Speaker 10: I was truly surprised in more ways than one. The
- 55:36Speaker 10: party was beautifully done and everyone wore black and gold,
- 55:41Speaker 10: but the party planner wore an all gold dress to
- 55:44Speaker 10: upstage me. It was his ex wife. He allowed this
- 55:48Speaker 10: woman to plan my birthday party. This is unacceptable. He
- 55:52Speaker 10: doesn't see the harm in it. Am I being a brat?
- 55:56Speaker 2: Oh boy?
- 55:56Speaker 11: Uh?
- 55:58Speaker 7: Wrong?
- 55:58Speaker 2: Wrong?
- 55:59Speaker 1: Wrong, on just so many levels. This was just dumb.
- 56:03Speaker 1: What was your husband thinking.
- 56:05Speaker 10: You don't let your ex wife plan your current wife's
- 56:08Speaker 10: birthday party, especially if they don't get along, so you
- 56:12Speaker 10: had no idea she was going to help him, meaning
- 56:15Speaker 10: he didn't tell you because I know you would have
- 56:17Speaker 10: shut the whole thing down if he had told you
- 56:19Speaker 10: that his ex knew everything though, because well she had
- 56:24Speaker 10: to know everything so she could plan it and then through,
- 56:29Speaker 10: you know, just throw it in your face and try
- 56:31Speaker 10: to upstage you, which she did with her all gold
- 56:33Speaker 10: dress after everybody had to wear black and gold. This
- 56:37Speaker 10: is the one time he should not have let his
- 56:39Speaker 10: ex wife plan the party because it was for you.
- 56:41Speaker 10: And again, you and his ex don't get along, so
- 56:45Speaker 10: anything could have happened and your party would have been ruined.
- 56:48Speaker 1: Also, this had nothing to do with her.
- 56:51Speaker 10: This was supposed to be all about you celebrating turning forty.
- 56:55Speaker 10: The crazy thing is, though you knew what he did
- 56:58Speaker 10: and what they did together before you guys got married.
- 57:02Speaker 10: He was still in business with his ax and he
- 57:04Speaker 10: still helped her because he owns part of the business.
- 57:07Speaker 10: He said, So, I mean, you know, the only thing
- 57:11Speaker 10: I could tell you at this point is that your husband,
- 57:14Speaker 10: of course, was wrong. You know that he did a
- 57:18Speaker 10: very stupid thing. He needs to find a way to
- 57:20Speaker 10: fix this immediately. He needs to become a silent partner
- 57:24Speaker 10: with his wife from now on in this business.
- 57:27Speaker 6: Steve, I don't know. It's a couple of things in here.
- 57:32Speaker 6: You met him, he told you he was gonna marry you.
- 57:35Speaker 6: Eight months lady, y'all get married. You know.
- 57:37Speaker 2: Hell, he was tall, he was bald. I get it.
- 57:40Speaker 2: You know, I get it. I'm tall, I'm bald, bead,
- 57:44Speaker 2: I get it. I get it. You got it. You
- 57:47Speaker 2: saw what you wanted it and have it lad you
- 57:53Speaker 2: did it? Yeah, okay, cool.
- 58:00Speaker 6: I just don't know. I really don't the problem. In
- 58:03Speaker 6: his letter, his ex wife is a party planner. She
- 58:09Speaker 6: owns an upscale events company, and he helps her with
- 58:11Speaker 6: the business because he owns a small percentage of it.
- 58:15Speaker 2: But they're divorced.
- 58:16Speaker 6: He said, they're good friends and they have a good
- 58:19Speaker 6: co parenting relationship. Well, y'all got married, and y'all in
- 58:24Speaker 6: hadge ups and downs with his ex wife.
- 58:26Speaker 2: You gonna have that them ex wives is excess for
- 58:29Speaker 2: a reason.
- 58:30Speaker 6: Listen to me. She's cordial, but we've never clicked. Ain't
- 58:36Speaker 6: you ain't finna click. She don't click with nobody. Your
- 58:39Speaker 6: husband told you. She's not an outgoing person. She don't
- 58:42Speaker 6: have a lot of girlfriends. Because of that, I have
- 58:45Speaker 6: to endure her calls to my husband whenever she wants
- 58:47Speaker 6: to vent over a business matter. I honestly think she
- 58:51Speaker 6: should only call when there's an issue with their son,
- 58:53Speaker 6: but I try not to nag him. Well, if he's
- 58:56Speaker 6: part owner in the business and they own this business together,
- 59:00Speaker 6: I think you're gonna have to own up to this
- 59:04Speaker 6: little piece of baggage that he has. He's a co
- 59:08Speaker 6: business owner with his ex wife, so I think he's
- 59:10Speaker 6: gonna have to deal with that issue and then they're
- 59:13Speaker 6: gonna talk about the sun. But where you draw the
- 59:17Speaker 6: line is her fortieth birthday party. She planned your fortieth.
- 59:24Speaker 6: God said, God, yeah, boy, all of this leads down
- 59:34Speaker 6: to that fortieth party.
- 59:37Speaker 2: I guess you knew nothing about it.
- 59:40Speaker 6: But when we come back, we'll get into what happened
- 59:43Speaker 6: at that party and what made you know that she planned?
- 59:51Speaker 2: What was at that part that was so hurt but
- 59:58Speaker 2: not you? What did she do? Good Lord of mercy happiers.
- 1:00:08Speaker 10: All right, listen, we're gonna have part two of Steve's
- 1:00:12Speaker 10: response to today's Strawberry Letter coming up at twenty three
- 1:00:16Speaker 10: minutes after the hour. You don't want to miss it.
- 1:00:19Speaker 10: Today's Strawberry Letter, subject he let her plan my party.
- 1:00:22Speaker 10: We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: You're listening hard Morning show.
- 1:00:28Speaker 10: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter,
- 1:00:31Speaker 10: the subject he let her plan my party?
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: Yeah, she married this tall, handsome ball man. Such a
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: such a group of us, you know you couldn't help it.
- 1:00:46Speaker 6: All involved, yeah, and good looking. You know you couldn't
- 1:00:49Speaker 6: help it. You got sprawling, you saw it looking, Yeah,
- 1:00:52Speaker 6: eight months. All that's in a letter somewhere. And he
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: had a pickup truck too, That did it right there?
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: To pick up truck, we'll pick what you need to
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: pick me.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. You gotta pick up truck.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: You need to put something in the back.
- 1:01:04Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying, yeah, it's got all that
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: room back then, why don't you put this in the
- 1:01:10Speaker 6: back of that down here.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: Anyway, they got married.
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: Now he has an ex wife and they own part
- 1:01:16Speaker 6: of this big event playing company together and they have
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: a little child. Never really click with the wife because
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: she's just not an outgoing person. He told you his
- 1:01:27Speaker 6: wife don't have a lot of friends, So y'all ain't
- 1:01:29Speaker 6: never really clicked. Y'all done had jups and downs with
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: the ex wife because of everything. So anyway, y'all, and
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: you have to endure when she calls her husband to
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: vent over the business matter, and I honestly think she
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: should only call him when there's an issue with their son. Well,
- 1:01:47Speaker 6: you can't realistically expect that he came with the baggage.
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: He told you they had a business together, and he's
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: a small percentage on us, So I think he's gonna
- 1:01:55Speaker 6: have to bite the bullet on that one. And so
- 1:01:58Speaker 6: those are gonna be some phone calls. That's okay, I
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: got that here. Your problem. But where you draw the
- 1:02:03Speaker 6: line is having her plan my fortieth birthday party. I
- 1:02:07Speaker 6: turned fortieth on October second. My husband had a small
- 1:02:10Speaker 6: dinner catered in our community club house.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: Okay, that was good.
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: He did that.
- 1:02:15Speaker 6: They had a small dinner some friends over. It's small.
- 1:02:17Speaker 6: You ain't got no she ain't got no friends. You know, well,
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: it's not for her. But you had a dinner party
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: at the clubhouse. My bad, wrong woman. But then the
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: next night, though, he threw you a surprise party at
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: a lounge, and I was surprised in more ways than one.
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: The party was beautifully done, all right, now cool.
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: Everybody wore black and gold, but the party planner wore
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: an all gold dress to upstage me.
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: Yeah, she did that, dish came here with that all
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: gold dress on.
- 1:02:52Speaker 6: Only thing black she had on was him shoes unless
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: she found some gold shoes too, Christian Lubiton's with the
- 1:02:59Speaker 6: red bottom.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Yeah, what did you have on? Though? Let's talk about it.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: You told everybody to go black? You want, you want?
- 1:03:08Speaker 6: That little black ass dressed would do that. But you
- 1:03:11Speaker 6: wore gold jewelry. You in there looking like everybody else.
- 1:03:16Speaker 6: That's what really happened. You WoT that little tight black dress,
- 1:03:21Speaker 6: but she came in with a tight er gold dress, yeah, tighter.
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: What else was at the party that you let it know?
- 1:03:28Speaker 6: It wasn't you well, you don't really care for ham
- 1:03:33Speaker 6: and cheese, right, had a whole lot of ham and cheese. Yeah,
- 1:03:41Speaker 6: you don't like angel food cake, but your cake was
- 1:03:44Speaker 6: angel food. She just in that got cake all around
- 1:03:47Speaker 6: her mouth is so good. Yeah, you don't really like
- 1:03:52Speaker 6: orange juice, but mimosas was flowing from a fountain. Yeah,
- 1:03:57Speaker 6: she had played this party. Everybody else was loving the party.
- 1:04:01Speaker 6: But you you can't believe the dress she had on.
- 1:04:05Speaker 6: Oh lord, it's the dress she had on. She was
- 1:04:09Speaker 6: in there with it right and tight. The problem is, though, See,
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: you ain't got no babies. See she had a baby,
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: still got a little bit of baby wait on her.
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: But she had found some spanks that could help her,
- 1:04:24Speaker 6: and she had them spanks on too. But you knew
- 1:04:27Speaker 6: they were spanks, but nobody else knew. She looked real
- 1:04:30Speaker 6: put together. This party was a disaster. Your dumb ass
- 1:04:34Speaker 6: husband let her plan the party and she came to
- 1:04:40Speaker 6: the party. First of all, y'all ain't cool. Why is
- 1:04:43Speaker 6: she at the party? Is she the party planner? She
- 1:04:47Speaker 6: didn't have to go to the party. She ain't your girlfriend.
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: Y'all ain't cool. Why is the ex wife at your party?
- 1:04:58Speaker 6: Ain't no way I could pull at all. It ain't nowhere.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: Closer. That don't ever happened to me. Was my daughter
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: got married from my first marriage.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: Oh yeah, we were all there. Yeah, who you were
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: nervous that night.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: I sat between her and if you're on the front,
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: you were nervous that night, the rehearsal dinner the night before.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: I needed that to be over, Brady.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: But they were cool, though, They were.
- 1:05:29Speaker 6: Cool, super cool. First time they ever met, first time
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: they ever talked. I'm sitting there the whole time. Why
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: are y'all.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: Talking, sweating, calling please?
- 1:05:42Speaker 6: We don't need to compare nothing this food and had
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: her at the party and invited her to the party.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: He's so damn stupid.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: It was bound to happen.
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: I think that all he can do. No, you're not
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: being a brat.
- 1:05:57Speaker 6: That's a common thing for a woman to feel that way,
- 1:06:00Speaker 6: another woman playing in her party, especially his ex.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: You're not being a brat.
- 1:06:04Speaker 6: He offers you an apology, he should just say, hey, baby,
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: I didn't know it would affect you that way. I'm
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: deeply sorry. I was just trying to do the best
- 1:06:11Speaker 6: I can. I know she's really good at it. And no,
- 1:06:14Speaker 6: Matt don't don't say that dog. Don't say I know
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: she's really good. Don't say she good at anything. Say
- 1:06:20Speaker 6: I should have left that helfa at the divorce court.
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: And I'm sorry I have any you know, but she
- 1:06:26Speaker 6: has a child of ours. God, I wish she'd just
- 1:06:29Speaker 6: go away, say all right, sorry, it won't happen again.
- 1:06:32Speaker 11: It.

- 1:09:35Speaker 2: to nine.
- 1:09:37Speaker 6: Yeah, you know I just tried to do something a
- 1:09:39Speaker 6: little different, right there. I know the cardinals ain't nobody.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: All right, Thank you, Junior, Thank you, Pippin.
- 1:09:49Speaker 10: Coming up at the top of the hour, a male
- 1:09:52Speaker 10: listener wants to know if body piercings have an age limit.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. Sure, yeah, you're
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: listening morning show, all right.
- 1:10:06Speaker 10: So this Steve is from al and Tuscaloosa. Al says,
- 1:10:10Speaker 10: I'm a fifty eight year old divorced man, and I
- 1:10:12Speaker 10: would love to be remarried, but there's a shortage of
- 1:10:15Speaker 10: good women. I was dating a fifty seven year old
- 1:10:18Speaker 10: woman and she took her clothes off and she had
- 1:10:21Speaker 10: body piercings and tattoos on her breast, thighs, and lower back.
- 1:10:26Speaker 10: After a certain age, is it cool for a woman
- 1:10:29Speaker 10: to still have her nipples and her navel pierce Well.
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: See, you need.
- 1:10:33Speaker 6: That's a lot of need and stuff, and you gotta
- 1:10:37Speaker 6: be careful at that ad because where it originally got
- 1:10:41Speaker 6: pierced may not be where it end up into.
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: You.
- 1:10:46Speaker 6: See, that nipple piercing very easily could become.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: A navel piercon she does both, Yeah.
- 1:10:55Speaker 6: And then that navel pierson could be just a little
- 1:10:57Speaker 6: cover up see things, and gravity gonna come. We're getting
- 1:11:05Speaker 6: this stuff out there because all these tattoos, like I've
- 1:11:08Speaker 6: seen mouths. I've seen butterflies on young people and they
- 1:11:12Speaker 6: got older and all of a sudden it became a moth.
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: I've seen that before.
- 1:11:19Speaker 6: I've actually I've actually seen like a man getting a
- 1:11:22Speaker 6: shovel put on his chest, and then when he got old,
- 1:11:25Speaker 6: he looked like a spoon. Just got to pay attention
- 1:11:29Speaker 6: to what you're getting to put on you. I've seen
- 1:11:32Speaker 6: a man got a had an eagle put on his
- 1:11:35Speaker 6: arm one time, and not the ego. The ego look
- 1:11:38Speaker 6: a whole lot like a pigeon start to look like
- 1:11:43Speaker 6: a piget. Just you know it, just take its toll, man,
- 1:11:46Speaker 6: It's just ain't it ain't what it was, you know.
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: So so it does.
- 1:11:50Speaker 10: To answer his question, piercings, Uh, they do have an
- 1:11:54Speaker 10: age limit, that's.
- 1:11:56Speaker 6: Right, But it's not it's that I'm not It's hard,
- 1:11:58Speaker 6: not hard to find a good one man. It's hard
- 1:12:00Speaker 6: to find a good woman. For you. It's a lot
- 1:12:02Speaker 6: of good women out there. That's a failure. There's a
- 1:12:06Speaker 6: lot of good women out there. But both of you
- 1:12:09Speaker 6: have to concern yourself with the baggage that comes with them,
- 1:12:13Speaker 6: because but it's a lot of good women out there, man,
- 1:12:16Speaker 6: who haven't been in a relationship in a long time
- 1:12:18Speaker 6: and not gonna know how to be in a relationship,
- 1:12:21Speaker 6: you know, just been by theyself so long.
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: They're not gonna know how to be in a relationship.
- 1:12:25Speaker 6: Since you got to find one that's for you, okay,
- 1:12:28Speaker 6: and then practicing like you know, hermit like behavior, her behavior, okay,
- 1:12:36Speaker 6: like women saying that they love being alone. It's kind
- 1:12:40Speaker 6: of hard to make her your mate.
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: She loved being alone. Seeing is how we're gonna try
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: to stay together.
- 1:12:45Speaker 10: Okay, I think we have time for one more. This
- 1:12:49Speaker 10: one is from Mika and Little Rock. Mecca says, my
- 1:12:53Speaker 10: husband drinks a lot and he thinks he's being sociable,
- 1:12:56Speaker 10: but he rambles his words and stumbles around like an idiot.
- 1:13:00Speaker 10: A friend of mine said she was out watching the
- 1:13:02Speaker 10: game and my husband was so drunk that he flirted
- 1:13:04Speaker 10: with her and she had to remind him who she was.
- 1:13:08Speaker 10: My husband doesn't recall the incident because he was drunk.
- 1:13:10Speaker 10: Is he using alcohol as an excuse to cover up
- 1:13:14Speaker 10: what he did?
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: Was not an excuse. He really didn't know your your
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: husband is an alcoholic.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: She said, he drinks a lot.
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: That's that's what alcoholics do. They drink a lot. See
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: what you want to do.
- 1:13:29Speaker 6: He's not alcoholic. He drinks a lot. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:13:33Speaker 6: That's that's really the first symptom. Yeah, that's the that's
- 1:13:38Speaker 6: the first symptom of alcoholic drinks a lot, a lot.
- 1:13:43Speaker 6: So you see he drinks just on Saturday. Socially, then
- 1:13:46Speaker 6: he won't be an alcoholic, you know. But your your
- 1:13:50Speaker 6: man is an alcoholic.
- 1:13:53Speaker 10: Well, she said that he rambles and stumbles around. He
- 1:13:56Speaker 10: rambles his words and stumbles around like an idiot.
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: She said that, what do you say? What your name is? Carol?
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: I'm Belinda? Oh I like that? An't you girls? What's
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: what your what your name is?
- 1:14:22Speaker 8: Oh?
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: Belinda?
- 1:14:25Speaker 6: I like that?
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: So let me ask you some what your name is?
- 1:14:32Speaker 6: I ain't bronk. I just been drinking. Yeah, I don't
- 1:14:36Speaker 6: drink a lot. I just drink all the time.
- 1:14:40Speaker 10: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have
- 1:14:42Speaker 10: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Nice.
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: I'll meet you Rolando right after this.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:53Speaker 10: Well, in California, specifically the Bay Area restaurants, you know,
- 1:14:57Speaker 10: restaurants that are for brunch and then they offer bottom
- 1:14:59Speaker 10: lis mimosas with that brunch. Well, they could all soon
- 1:15:03Speaker 10: add quote vomit fees vomit fees to address their patrons
- 1:15:08Speaker 10: that drink too much and end up getting sick inside
- 1:15:12Speaker 10: the restaurant. In Oakland, California, for instance, the Kitchen Story
- 1:15:17Speaker 10: restaurant has already introduced its fifty dollars cleaning fee for
- 1:15:21Speaker 10: patrons who throw up in the restaurant. Another brunch hotspot,
- 1:15:25Speaker 10: home Plate, has informed brunchgoers that they will be charged
- 1:15:29Speaker 10: a fifty dollars fee for any incident caused by intoxication.
- 1:15:34Speaker 10: But whatever happened to just you know, stopping the customer, Okay,
- 1:15:37Speaker 10: cut them off when they've had you.
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: You don't know that. You can't watch people that close, Tom,
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: How many drinks could a person have? Not a hairline?
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: What before?
- 1:15:48Speaker 12: What?
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: Completely just lit?
- 1:15:49Speaker 6: Oh, they start throwing up like you ain't never threw up.
- 1:15:53Speaker 6: I ain't never seen you throw it, Monica.
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: Ten ten drinks.
- 1:15:57Speaker 6: That's a lot, you know, Monica. You may be saying
- 1:16:00Speaker 6: some stuff about yourself, you don't really want on the ring.
- 1:16:04Speaker 4: No one knew it was.
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: Went tea.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: Just say Monica cheers maybe half that.
- 1:16:16Speaker 10: All right, So be mindful of that if you're drinking
- 1:16:21Speaker 10: when you go to Oakland, California. Yeah, juice, don't drink
- 1:16:27Speaker 10: and drive. We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning

- 1:17:37Speaker 1: point there.

- 1:18:05Speaker 2: got to be able.
- 1:18:06Speaker 4: To grant.
- 1:18:11Speaker 7: All right?
- 1:18:11Speaker 10: Would you rather take ten toddlers trigger treating or jove
- 1:18:14Speaker 10: through the cemetery at night?
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: Straight through that cemetery. I'm in the cemetery.
- 1:18:20Speaker 3: No trick or treating with some kids.
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: I'm not doing all that call. I'm not doing what
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: I'm doing this with these kids. I'm gonna be missing
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: five taking what everybody's gonna make it. Just walk. I'd
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: like to take them kids through the cemetery.
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: That is wrong.
- 1:18:46Speaker 6: Four grandkids to the beach yesterday? Oh yeah, how extra nanny?
- 1:19:00Speaker 6: Grandchild had a person?
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: Oh, and what were you doing then.
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: Sitting on the lounge chair with that breeze off that ocean? Small?
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: Get up? One time? I let them stay out there
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: for four hours.
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: It's nice to be the king.
- 1:19:15Speaker 6: I drank thirteen ice cold lemonades and let them kids
- 1:19:20Speaker 6: got there playing.
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: All them nannies was out there happy. Can't do that? Sure?
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: All right? Last one?
- 1:19:27Speaker 10: Would you rather your wife see your last ten calls

- 1:19:32Speaker 1: Which one?
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: It's the same thing, it's the same person.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: All death, it's all death, it's all death.
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: It's all a problem.
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: So you gonna die, You gonna kill you, she said
- 1:19:47Speaker 3: my phone.
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: Two calls.
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: Easy, Thank you guys.
- 1:19:53Speaker 10: Coming up next, last break of the day, and we'll
- 1:19:55Speaker 10: have some clothing from the one and only Steve Harvey
- 1:19:57Speaker 10: right after this.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: You're listening hard morning show. Hey see.
- 1:20:03Speaker 10: Before we get to your closing remarks, we do want
- 1:20:05Speaker 10: to send some our condolences out to the family of
- 1:20:08Speaker 10: actress Suzanne Summers. Suzanne Summers lost her lengthy battle with
- 1:20:12Speaker 10: breast cancer and died at her home over the weekend.
- 1:20:16Speaker 10: She was seventy six years old and most widely known,
- 1:20:19Speaker 10: of course, for her role as Chrissy Snow on the
- 1:20:22Speaker 10: hit TV show Threes Company that was on from the
- 1:20:26Speaker 10: late nineteen seventies to the mid eighties. Summers and her
- 1:20:29Speaker 10: husband also created the popular device, the thigh Master, which
- 1:20:33Speaker 10: skyrocketed in sales and made infomercial history. She was also
- 1:20:37Speaker 10: an author of twenty five books, mostly best sellers, that
- 1:20:40Speaker 10: focused on the body and aging. So our condolences to
- 1:20:45Speaker 10: the family of Suzanne Summers. Yeah she had a long battle.
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: Yeah she did. She did.
- 1:20:51Speaker 3: She was a warrior, Yeah for sure.
- 1:20:53Speaker 6: My closing remarks today, let me just talk to you
- 1:20:57Speaker 6: all about faith because I think faith is such an
- 1:21:01Speaker 6: important component in our lives today. I think it's an
- 1:21:06Speaker 6: important component in every aspect of your life. And here's
- 1:21:11Speaker 6: a deal, man, Never be ashamed of your faith. Whatever
- 1:21:14Speaker 6: your faith is, don't be ashamed of it because faith
- 1:21:18Speaker 6: can be with you when everybody else has deserted you.
- 1:21:23Speaker 6: Faith is available to you twenty four to seven. Faith,
- 1:21:29Speaker 6: your belief in God, your belief in your faith. It's
- 1:21:34Speaker 6: just listen, man. I can't tell you how important faith
- 1:21:38Speaker 6: has been for me. And if you think about it,
- 1:21:42Speaker 6: you really have to think about it in the same
- 1:21:45Speaker 6: way as yourself. Now, if you're a person who is
- 1:21:48Speaker 6: not using faith or applying faith, I strongly suggest that
- 1:21:53Speaker 6: you develop that.
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: And it's really easy. Don't make it seem difficult.
- 1:21:59Speaker 6: Don't let the devil fool you into thinking that, Well,
- 1:22:02Speaker 6: you haven't been the right person, and you've made so
- 1:22:05Speaker 6: many mistakes, and you did this, and you did that.
- 1:22:08Speaker 6: So what and so has everybody else. All them preachers
- 1:22:12Speaker 6: you see up there, they got a history. All these
- 1:22:15Speaker 6: people on the internet that's talking about everybody else, they
- 1:22:19Speaker 6: got a history.
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: Everybody has a history.
- 1:22:23Speaker 6: The thing about faith and having a relationship with God
- 1:22:26Speaker 6: is he don't hold none of that against you. God
- 1:22:30Speaker 6: wants you to come to him just as you are.
- 1:22:34Speaker 6: You know, faith is like a hospital. This is a
- 1:22:38Speaker 6: small analogy I'm using here. Faith is like a hospital.
- 1:22:42Speaker 6: It's for people who need it.
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: It really is.
- 1:22:46Speaker 6: You don't you don't you don't. You don't go down
- 1:22:50Speaker 6: to the hospital because everything's okay. You go down to
- 1:22:53Speaker 6: the hospital when something's wrong. God is okay with you
- 1:22:56Speaker 6: coming to him because something is wrong. That's what you
- 1:23:00Speaker 6: usually pushes people to faith. Anyway. How many times have
- 1:23:04Speaker 6: you seen people go to prison to discover God? How
- 1:23:08Speaker 6: many times have you seen a person get in the
- 1:23:11Speaker 6: real situation before they finally turn to God. Don't you
- 1:23:14Speaker 6: know he used to that and it's okay, man, But
- 1:23:18Speaker 6: don't let the devil fool you into thinking that you've
- 1:23:20Speaker 6: got to fix yourself up and get yourself right before
- 1:23:24Speaker 6: you come to him. That's like getting yourself healed before
- 1:23:27Speaker 6: you go to the hospital.
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: How that sound? How that work?
- 1:23:31Speaker 6: Man? It doesn't work that way, and you need faith.
- 1:23:37Speaker 6: Faith can get you through the storm. Here's the three
- 1:23:39Speaker 6: things about a storm that everybody's dealing. Within a storm,
- 1:23:42Speaker 6: you are either going through a storm right now. You
- 1:23:45Speaker 6: either just came out of a storm or you're headed
- 1:23:48Speaker 6: to one. But the storms are in everybody's life, and
- 1:23:51Speaker 6: that's why people get throwed up. Well, if I have
- 1:23:53Speaker 6: a relationship with God, I want all this to smooth out. No, No,
- 1:23:56Speaker 6: that's not how it works. God strengthens you to it.
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: Do it the storm.
- 1:24:01Speaker 6: God gives you an abiding peace within yourself to help
- 1:24:04Speaker 6: you the next time the storm comes. I'm in a
- 1:24:06Speaker 6: storm right now, me and my family. But guess what,
- 1:24:09Speaker 6: we are in a wonderful place of peace because all
- 1:24:13Speaker 6: this world is going on around us. God protects us
- 1:24:16Speaker 6: from it. I'm gonna be honest with you, we really
- 1:24:19Speaker 6: don't even know a tenth of the stuff y'all out
- 1:24:23Speaker 6: there saying.
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: But no matter what, it is, it's not important to
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: where we're headed. See.
- 1:24:29Speaker 6: Because of faith, the belief in things that you cannot see,
- 1:24:32Speaker 6: because of Isaiah fifty four seventeen, because of Isaiah forty
- 1:24:37Speaker 6: three one and two, because of Psalms ninety one. There
- 1:24:40Speaker 6: are scriptures that we can hang on to that protect
- 1:24:44Speaker 6: us and cover us through the storm.
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: And that's what faith does.
- 1:24:49Speaker 6: It allows you to better endure the storms because faith,
- 1:24:53Speaker 6: your faith and relationship with God lets you know that
- 1:24:55Speaker 6: it's not just you.
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: God is always there for you. You have to go
- 1:25:01Speaker 2: through a loan in this world.
- 1:25:03Speaker 6: If you got a relationship with God, he's always there
- 1:25:06Speaker 6: and he can provide you with an uncommon piece a
- 1:25:12Speaker 6: peace of mind that's hard to explain.
- 1:25:14Speaker 2: Do you know how many people have called me and said, man,
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: I don't know how you do it.
- 1:25:19Speaker 11: I do.
- 1:25:21Speaker 6: I got a relationship with God. That's all I got
- 1:25:23Speaker 6: for you. That's how I do it. I know that
- 1:25:27Speaker 6: He is protecting us. I know that we are tucked
- 1:25:30Speaker 6: under his wings. So whatever the enemy tries to do,
- 1:25:35Speaker 6: it's not working. It's not working. Everything you do to
- 1:25:41Speaker 6: try to destroy me or my family, we are covered
- 1:25:44Speaker 6: by Isaiah fifty four seventeen, no weapon formed against me
- 1:25:48Speaker 6: shall prosper, and I will refute every tongue that comes
- 1:25:53Speaker 6: after me. Don't y'all know, man, that when you come
- 1:25:57Speaker 6: after somebody that's one of God's favorites, that you gonna
- 1:25:59Speaker 6: have to watch what God do for them. He gonna
- 1:26:02Speaker 6: let you see. I don't have to raise my hand
- 1:26:05Speaker 6: and go after everybody and try to run people down. No, man,
- 1:26:08Speaker 6: I sit here, be still, stay in peace because that
- 1:26:11Speaker 6: faith in God I have, that protection that He has
- 1:26:14Speaker 6: awarded me as a child of his is ever present
- 1:26:18Speaker 6: in my life and is ever present in your life.
- 1:26:21Speaker 6: All you got to do is say God, I love
- 1:26:23Speaker 6: you and I need you. That's the relationship. I believe
- 1:26:28Speaker 6: in you and I need you. Help me and watch
- 1:26:31Speaker 6: what He do that's available for everybody. I know that
- 1:26:33Speaker 6: sounds simple, but that's just how it is. Y'all have
- 1:26:36Speaker 6: a great day today. We'll talk to y'all tomorrow. Y'all
- 1:26:38Speaker 6: talk to God today, okay, because he loved to hear
- 1:26:41Speaker 6: from it.
