- 0:58Speaker 2: You know you.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 3: I got to turn about turn. You probably got to
- 1:44Speaker 3: turn mouth water the water up looking at me? Come
- 1:58Speaker 3: come on, you'll think that.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 2: You all listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 2: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. I
- 2:11Speaker 2: thank God for it every day. I try to remember
- 2:14Speaker 2: that too, you know. I try to remember to be grateful.
- 2:18Speaker 2: I think gratitude is one of the things that helps
- 2:21Speaker 2: keep me grounded. You can go as far as you
- 2:24Speaker 2: want in life. If you don't mind who gets the credit.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Well that applies to God too, don't it. I mean,
- 2:30Speaker 2: you know, really, if you don't mind who gets the credit.
- 2:34Speaker 2: I'm surrounded by very competent people. I'm surrounded by a
- 2:39Speaker 2: lot of people who work hard on their jobs on
- 2:42Speaker 2: their career, who are dedicated employees and also just dedicated
- 2:49Speaker 2: to their families and you know, dedicated to their own
- 2:52Speaker 2: set of aspirations. I don't expect anybody to work for
- 2:56Speaker 2: me forever. I always look at my job opportunities as
- 3:00Speaker 2: stepping stones because I want everyone around me really to
- 3:05Speaker 2: aspire to be more. I mean, that's really the way
- 3:08Speaker 2: I am. I'm not any other way. I'm not trying
- 3:11Speaker 2: to hold you to this position. You know, tell you
- 3:14Speaker 2: there's no room for growth, any of that. But even
- 3:19Speaker 2: though I'm surrounded by these people, I'm grateful that God
- 3:23Speaker 2: placed them in my path in my life. But in
- 3:31Speaker 2: my mind, in my spirit, in everything in me, the
- 3:37Speaker 2: credit still belongs to God. I'm sorry, the credit still
- 3:42Speaker 2: belongs to God. See if you would, just for a moment,
- 3:49Speaker 2: stop thinking about yourself, just for a moment. I know
- 3:53Speaker 2: that's hard, but just for a moment, stop thinking about
- 3:56Speaker 2: yourself and realize that maybe you are who you are
- 4:01Speaker 2: because God is who he is.
- 4:03Speaker 5: Maybe that's the case. Have you ever considered that?
- 4:07Speaker 2: That's the strongest possibility I can give to you?
- 4:11Speaker 1: You know, how do.
- 4:12Speaker 2: You think you the one that made it through? How
- 4:16Speaker 2: you think you the one after all of the ignorant
- 4:20Speaker 2: decisions we have made? And oh my goodness, let's all
- 4:23Speaker 2: be honest. Ain't we made some crazy decisions? I'm talking
- 4:28Speaker 2: about man, I have made decisions so adverse to my
- 4:32Speaker 2: destiny and career, my promises. I've made some decisions man
- 4:38Speaker 2: knowingly you hear me knowingly do something wrong, and in
- 4:43Speaker 2: spite of all that, I'm still here standing. Okay, come
- 4:47Speaker 2: on now, really, really, all the dirt you'd bene done,
- 4:52Speaker 2: everybody done dirt, all the mistakes you've made, you in
- 4:57Speaker 2: the position you in today because of what? Because you
- 5:01Speaker 2: all that? Because you work harder than anybody else. Look,
- 5:06Speaker 2: I work hard, I'll be I'll tell you in a minute.
- 5:09Speaker 2: I work hard. But I don't think I'm the hardest
- 5:11Speaker 2: working person out there. I'm pretty sure somebody done work
- 5:15Speaker 2: way harder than I have. So okay, so you work hard? Okay, cool,
- 5:20Speaker 2: I got all that. But man, what about his grace
- 5:25Speaker 2: and his mercy? What about his favor? How many times,
- 5:31Speaker 2: man you done relied on that, even when you ain't
- 5:34Speaker 2: know you was relying on it? How many times man
- 5:37Speaker 2: God done shown you mercy? You ain't even deserve it?
- 5:40Speaker 2: Do you know how many things I've done wrong? I
- 5:43Speaker 2: just ain't get caught at it?
- 5:46Speaker 6: You know.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Let me see how simple I can be here? You speed,
- 5:51Speaker 2: you jwall, You lie to police when you get pulled
- 5:56Speaker 2: over that you wasn't speeding, You go to court and
- 5:58Speaker 2: argue you wasn't speed when you was, You make U turns.
- 6:04Speaker 2: I'm just doing traffic violations. Now, let's get off traffic
- 6:09Speaker 2: for a second. Let's get on human violations. You talk
- 6:13Speaker 2: about people when you're not supposed to. You indulge yourself
- 6:18Speaker 2: in gossip even when you don't really have all the facts.
- 6:22Speaker 2: You pass judgment, You lust for people that don't belong
- 6:28Speaker 2: to you. You say things to people that you're not
- 6:32Speaker 2: supposed to say. So look, all of us, we all,
- 6:40Speaker 2: we're all guilty. Now. See I'm not saying you do
- 6:43Speaker 2: all of that, but I'm saying I'm pretty sure I
- 6:46Speaker 2: hit you somewhere in there, just somewhere in there. You
- 6:49Speaker 2: donet lied before, you know you lied recently. I mean,
- 6:53Speaker 2: come on, And I'm just saying so with all that
- 6:56Speaker 2: in mind, See, I'm just looking at the little things
- 6:58Speaker 2: that we do that we don't get busted for. Not
- 7:00Speaker 2: to mention the chips you stole when you was a
- 7:02Speaker 2: kid and nobody caught you.
- 7:04Speaker 5: Well, that elevated, didn't it.
- 7:06Speaker 2: And some of y'all just didn't stop stealing, and next
- 7:09Speaker 2: thing you know, you was in a car. Now you're
- 7:10Speaker 2: sitting somewhere you don't want to be sitting because of
- 7:13Speaker 2: a decision you made. But through his grace and mercy,
- 7:16Speaker 2: couldn't it have been worse? Though? Without his grace and mercy,
- 7:19Speaker 2: could not it have been worse. I know two dudes
- 7:23Speaker 2: that got caught in the garage one time, trying to
- 7:25Speaker 2: break in somebody's house, and the person in the house
- 7:27Speaker 2: they broke into just happened to have a gun and
- 7:31Speaker 2: held them in the garage, caught them and held them
- 7:34Speaker 2: to the garage to the police car. That's Grace and
- 7:37Speaker 2: Mercy right there, because they had all full right to
- 7:40Speaker 2: shoot these two people, but they didn't. They're Grace and Mercy. See,
- 7:44Speaker 2: all of us have benefited from his grace and mercy.
- 7:48Speaker 2: All of us have done a wrong, committed a sin,
- 7:50Speaker 2: broken the law, and somehow, through his grace and mercy,
- 7:54Speaker 2: got by, doing drugs, buying drugs, slanging drugs, doing something,
- 7:58Speaker 2: got by, jumped on somebody for no reason, got by,
- 8:02Speaker 2: you know. So see how you figure with all that
- 8:07Speaker 2: that can go on in your life? And then hold on,
- 8:10Speaker 2: let me throw a couple more at you. You can't
- 8:12Speaker 2: wake yourself up in the morning, mister big shot, you
- 8:17Speaker 2: don't have the ability to control the breaths that you take. Really,
- 8:22Speaker 2: mister big shot, really, let's get real basic with it now.
- 8:27Speaker 5: You can't wake yourself up in the morning.
- 8:30Speaker 2: That's favor, that's grace, that's mercy, that's Him allowing you
- 8:38Speaker 2: to wake up just hoping we get it right. You know,
- 8:43Speaker 2: God spared me through all the dirt I was doing
- 8:46Speaker 2: just hoping. One day, man, can you just straighten up
- 8:48Speaker 2: a little bit? When I finally straightened up? And I'm
- 8:52Speaker 2: gonna just say it, straightened up a little bit. See,
- 8:54Speaker 2: I ain't straightened up all the way. Say I ain't
- 8:56Speaker 2: gonna sit here and tell you that I just straightened
- 8:58Speaker 2: up a little bit. God blessing me. So the more
- 9:01Speaker 2: blessings I got start going. Man, maybe I'll try straighten
- 9:04Speaker 2: up a little bit more. So I straightened up a
- 9:05Speaker 2: little bit more. I still got a long way to go,
- 9:08Speaker 2: but I'm straighter than I was now. When people judging me,
- 9:11Speaker 2: and as they will, and they do because that ain't right,
- 9:14Speaker 2: but they do, and I ain't walking just the way
- 9:16Speaker 2: they walk, then here come to criticism.
- 9:18Speaker 5: I get it all the time.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Stop wanting credit all the time and give out some
- 9:23Speaker 2: credit where credit is due, instead of having somebody.
- 9:26Speaker 5: Patting you on your back all the time.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Why don't you tell God, tell people it was really
- 9:30Speaker 2: was God, man, that you don't really know how you
- 9:33Speaker 2: made it that really, man, you have no explanation for
- 9:36Speaker 2: your success or you have no explanation why you still
- 9:38Speaker 2: exist in today. Why don't you tell somebody it was
- 9:41Speaker 2: God today? Don't be ashamed. It's the truth, ain't it.
- 9:45Speaker 2: I mean, really, man, Let's give God some credit here.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Give God the credit and the glory and the honor.
- 9:51Speaker 2: And like that plaque said, you can go as far
- 9:53Speaker 2: as you want in life if you don't mind who
- 9:55Speaker 2: gets the credit.
- 9:56Speaker 7: All right, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, you know what, today has arrived. You
- 10:07Speaker 2: are still here. That's a blessing, a gift from God.
- 10:11Speaker 2: I'm so grateful for it. Please tell God before you
- 10:14Speaker 2: get your day rolling too good? What all you are
- 10:19Speaker 2: grateful for? Start your day with gratitude, y'all. I'm telling
- 10:22Speaker 2: you it's a very very effective way. It kind of
- 10:25Speaker 2: takes you off to doulgence too. If you wake up
- 10:26Speaker 2: on the wrong side of the bed. If you go
- 10:29Speaker 2: down your gratitude this you'll find out, Hey, it ain't
- 10:32Speaker 2: that bad after all, is it?
- 10:33Speaker 6: No?
- 10:33Speaker 2: Because God is good, Ladies and gentlemen. Steve Harblet Morning Show,
- 10:36Speaker 2: She on the Strawberry calling for real Mississippi Monica Jr.
- 10:39Speaker 5: And nephew legend is nephew Tommy Jr.
- 10:42Speaker 2: What's on your mind?
- 10:43Speaker 3: Man?
- 10:43Speaker 2: Hey?
- 10:43Speaker 8: Un, let's talk about this man character, man character and
- 10:48Speaker 8: what does character mean to you? And how important it
- 10:50Speaker 8: is daily no matter what level you want. Because some
- 10:53Speaker 8: people look at other people like I can't believe they
- 10:55Speaker 8: got this, so they did that, and you know they
- 10:56Speaker 8: type of character, how they keep getting blessed like this
- 10:59Speaker 8: and that?
- 11:00Speaker 1: What does character mean for you?
- 11:02Speaker 2: Character? For me are the values and principles that a
- 11:09Speaker 2: person represents of himself. Then that to me determines your character.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Like if you try to be an honorable person, a
- 11:17Speaker 2: righteous person, if you're trying to do the right thing,
- 11:20Speaker 2: you know, those are morals and values are determined the
- 11:25Speaker 2: character of the person that you are. You know, if
- 11:28Speaker 2: you see a person who's unscrupulous, always up to no good,
- 11:33Speaker 2: always talking about somebody, that to me is just a
- 11:37Speaker 2: person not of quality character so you can be You
- 11:41Speaker 2: get to determine the type of character you have because
- 11:44Speaker 2: you get to pick the principles and you get to
- 11:47Speaker 2: pick the morals that you live by. You know, uh
- 11:51Speaker 2: and and and the policies and theories and things that
- 11:55Speaker 2: you apply to your life. That's what determines your character,
- 11:59Speaker 2: and each person can pick whatever it is. It's just
- 12:02Speaker 2: a sad state that because of the Internet, we see
- 12:06Speaker 2: so many people choose to go the other way, and
- 12:10Speaker 2: it's you know, but like I always say, look, man,
- 12:15Speaker 2: I'll tell you like I've started to really examine myself
- 12:19Speaker 2: and then be more okay with who I am because
- 12:23Speaker 2: of the people who do love me. Now the people
- 12:25Speaker 2: that hate me, I'm assuming they've made that their job.
- 12:31Speaker 2: And I have gotten to the point of caring less
- 12:35Speaker 2: than because if you don't have my cell number, you
- 12:41Speaker 2: don't know me, so why should I care what you
- 12:45Speaker 2: think of me. The other thing you got to be
- 12:48Speaker 2: careful of is people who have opinion of you that
- 12:51Speaker 2: you take a criticism from a person that you wouldn't
- 12:55Speaker 2: take advice from, So you know, there are a lot
- 12:58Speaker 2: of low character people out passing out advice. You gotta
- 13:01Speaker 2: go wait a minute man hold up. So that's how
- 13:04Speaker 2: I do it, and that's how I set my parameters
- 13:08Speaker 2: for myself. Yeah, I've just decided to be a better
- 13:11Speaker 2: person above it all, you know. I'm I'm gonna try
- 13:14Speaker 2: not to respond to anybody that's throwing shade and hate
- 13:18Speaker 2: my way and just keep on going on about my business.
- 13:21Speaker 5: I'm gonna try.
- 13:22Speaker 2: That's what that's I can. But if I see you though,
- 13:28Speaker 2: I'm just trying what I'm trying, just just.
- 13:31Speaker 5: Noting my trying that that day it might not it might.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Be up.
- 13:38Speaker 9: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll
- 13:41Speaker 9: hear from the nephew as he runs that brank back
- 13:44Speaker 9: right after this. You're listening Hardy Morning Show.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Hey, look, you can't let the urge to sing your
- 13:55Speaker 2: favorite songs while you're driving distract you from that truck
- 13:58Speaker 2: drifting toward your lane or that lane splitting biker creeping
- 14:03Speaker 2: up besides you. Fortunately, every Honday offers advanced safety features
- 14:07Speaker 2: that can alert you to potential dangers around you.
- 14:10Speaker 10: That's right, because Hendi is always working to ensure the
- 14:13Speaker 10: road doesn't get you. Hondai vehicles have won over one
- 14:15Speaker 10: hundred and twenty iihs Top Safety Awards from two thousand
- 14:19Speaker 10: and six to twenty twenty four.
- 14:21Speaker 2: As of December twenty twenty.
- 14:23Speaker 7: Four, it is time now for the nephew to run
- 14:26Speaker 7: that frank back. What you got for us?
- 14:28Speaker 2: Nest side job clean?
- 14:30Speaker 6: Let's go Tomers. Jervis is Robbie.
- 14:32Speaker 11: How can I help you?
- 14:34Speaker 6: Robbie, I'm trying to get a order in for some
- 14:36Speaker 6: construction supplies I need to pick up.
- 14:39Speaker 11: That's fine. What's your company?
- 14:43Speaker 6: Roof and Company, Ruth and Company.
- 14:44Speaker 11: Okay, we have we done listening to you this form.
- 14:47Speaker 6: No, no, you have and this is my first time called.
- 14:49Speaker 6: I heard you guys were pretty good.
- 14:50Speaker 11: I appreciate the compliment.
- 14:51Speaker 6: Okay, I know. Listen, I need to get this as
- 14:54Speaker 6: soon as possible. Man, can I possibly pick up these
- 14:56Speaker 6: supplies like in the next couple of hours?
- 14:59Speaker 11: Well, you know, no, they don't work. That fact kind
- 15:01Speaker 11: of a quick turnaround. We got a little bit of
- 15:02Speaker 11: a backup. But I can. I can do my bask
- 15:05Speaker 11: depends on what you need.
- 15:06Speaker 6: Okay, here's here's what I need. Man. I need five
- 15:09Speaker 6: rolls of duct takes.
- 15:10Speaker 11: Okay, that's no problem, that's quick.
- 15:12Speaker 6: Okay, I need plastic. Man, Listen, if you was gonna
- 15:16Speaker 6: wrap up something in plastic that's like about six foot
- 15:20Speaker 6: two in height and two hundred pounds. How much plastic
- 15:23Speaker 6: you think I would need to wrap to wrap that up?
- 15:25Speaker 11: In this is acondre. You're asking for plastic like a
- 15:28Speaker 11: roller plastics.
- 15:29Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm talking. I need to wrap up something that's
- 15:31Speaker 6: six foot two and like two hundred and ten pounds.
- 15:34Speaker 11: I probably would get about three yards four yards of plastic.
- 15:37Speaker 6: Okay, okay, I need to get that. Then let me
- 15:40Speaker 6: ask you this here. If you was gonna try to
- 15:42Speaker 6: put some cement on that to hold it down, how
- 15:45Speaker 6: much seamen you think of hold that down?
- 15:47Speaker 11: I'm more confused. You're running a roofing company.
- 15:49Speaker 6: Right, Yeah, I'm a roofer company, but I'm doing a
- 15:51Speaker 6: little side work for some friends of mine.
- 15:54Speaker 11: Oh okay, okay, I just got a little confused cause
- 15:56Speaker 11: you told me this is Talish and Company. No problem,
- 15:57Speaker 11: no problem, Want some man waiting. You're you're trying to
- 16:01Speaker 11: hold something down.
- 16:01Speaker 6: I'm trying to I'm trying to hold something down. So
- 16:04Speaker 6: how many bags of cement do you think I need
- 16:06Speaker 6: to hold out something that's two hundred and twenty pounds? Wow?
- 16:11Speaker 11: I don't know, eight.
- 16:12Speaker 6: Bags, eight bags, eight bag.
- 16:14Speaker 11: Eight bags, I would recommend at least.
- 16:15Speaker 6: Okay, okay, give me eight bags the cement. Now just
- 16:18Speaker 6: something else. I want to ask you. Do you have
- 16:20Speaker 6: anything any type of cleaner, man, that can get uh,
- 16:23Speaker 6: that can get blood I mean paint off the floor.
- 16:25Speaker 11: Yeah, we got industrial cleaners, some of all kinds of
- 16:27Speaker 11: industrial clean said. Well, when you said paint the paint or.
- 16:30Speaker 6: Blood, uh, paint paint prank. Okay, yeah, I.
- 16:34Speaker 11: Mean I've got industrial cleans a lot of times. And
- 16:36Speaker 11: then you have the preference.
- 16:37Speaker 6: No, just whatever you could throw in there. I need that. Now,
- 16:40Speaker 6: let me ask you this here. Do you have anything
- 16:42Speaker 6: that can like just kill a smell? You know what
- 16:44Speaker 6: I'm saying that if you know, if you don't want
- 16:46Speaker 6: something to smell, you got anything for that? Wait?
- 16:48Speaker 11: Mane something if something something die in your place?
- 16:51Speaker 6: Is this place?
- 16:51Speaker 2: Is something something?
- 16:52Speaker 6: Did you like there?
- 16:53Speaker 11: An animal or something you found? I mean, I mean
- 16:55Speaker 11: I'm kind of confused. You're talking about smell and clean
- 16:57Speaker 11: up to animal.
- 16:59Speaker 6: On a a Robbert. Listen, man, just take the order.
- 17:02Speaker 6: That's all I need you to do.
- 17:03Speaker 11: Okay, Okay, No, I'm sorry, I wasn't asking your business
- 17:07Speaker 11: I just was a little concern.
- 17:08Speaker 6: What are we getting? What are we cleaning up?
- 17:09Speaker 11: And what do we I mean, I guess the are
- 17:11Speaker 11: we clean up a tile? Fold to clean up carpet?
- 17:14Speaker 11: I mean, what's the what's the cleaner for?
- 17:15Speaker 6: What's the what?
- 17:16Speaker 11: Where's the odor?
- 17:17Speaker 6: Oh? Sure, all I'm asking you? Do you have something
- 17:19Speaker 6: strong enough? Like do you take ammonia? Can can keep
- 17:23Speaker 6: the smell down? What do I need to keep the
- 17:24Speaker 6: smell down?
- 17:25Speaker 11: You're definitely gonna need ammonia. I mean, you gotta get
- 17:27Speaker 11: something to just scrub that right down, because I mean,
- 17:29Speaker 11: wherever that scent is, if it's in your if it's
- 17:32Speaker 11: in the walls, if you got fabrics in that place,
- 17:34Speaker 11: I mean whatever, wherever you got it, you probably gonna
- 17:36Speaker 11: have to have a different type of deodorized or something
- 17:38Speaker 11: for the carpet.
- 17:38Speaker 6: Something for the walls.
- 17:39Speaker 11: I mean, I don't I guess. I guess it's kind
- 17:42Speaker 11: of confused just to as to where the sense coming from.
- 17:45Speaker 6: And I don't worry about all that. Man, Hey man, listen,
- 17:48Speaker 6: just just right down what the order is, Okay.
- 17:51Speaker 11: I got it? You I got the five rolls of
- 17:53Speaker 11: duct tap, I got to that's the four yards of
- 17:55Speaker 11: plast I got to hate back of cement, I got
- 17:56Speaker 11: the industrial clean, I got the ammonia. I'm I'm I'm
- 17:59Speaker 11: typing it all in. I got I've got your order.
- 18:00Speaker 6: Okay, let me man, Do y'all have any type of machete?
- 18:04Speaker 6: Anything that's real? Shop that can?
- 18:06Speaker 12: But what?
- 18:08Speaker 6: Oh?
- 18:08Speaker 11: Okay, hold on second, and now now you're completely off face.

- 23:00Speaker 7: How important is communication?
- 23:04Speaker 2: Wow, here's a person who is clearly finn to go
- 23:09Speaker 2: back and do this again. Yeah, because her question was
- 23:14Speaker 2: after the first date of barely understanding this man important
- 23:19Speaker 2: this communication? But all I've ever heard a woman say
- 23:22Speaker 2: one of the most important things in the relationship is communication.
- 23:26Speaker 2: You've obviously put that aside. Polyvo sa weed jenif vic

- 24:02Speaker 9: Joe Lee writes that the married couple next to me
- 24:05Speaker 9: fight all the time, and I mind my business. My

- 24:12Speaker 9: try to calm her husband down if they're fussing outside.
- 24:15Speaker 7: I barely know them, so am I supposed to step
- 24:18Speaker 7: in there?
- 24:19Speaker 2: No? Now, if he hitting her, you gotta do your handle,
- 24:23Speaker 2: you bid. But if they are in talking loud, it
- 24:26Speaker 2: ain't your business. Though, That ain't your business.
- 24:31Speaker 7: Is that satisfactory to his wife? Though she's gonna be
- 24:35Speaker 7: satisfied with that?
- 24:36Speaker 2: Well, what you want your husband to do? Ladies, you
- 24:38Speaker 2: got to be careful putting your husband in these crazy
- 24:41Speaker 2: situations now, because that happens all the time. I was
- 24:45Speaker 2: just watching a crime show.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Here we go, I'm doing it.
- 24:48Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm telling you what.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Guy pulled out in front of this guy and kind

- 24:56Speaker 2: man out, flipping the bird set up here and grabbed
- 24:59Speaker 2: a hand full of quarters and threw them up against
- 25:01Speaker 2: the dude's window. Then they got in the traffic light,

- 25:41Speaker 2: your jobs as a woman, to protect your king, because
- 25:45Speaker 2: you know if you get in some man's face, he's
- 25:47Speaker 2: gonna have to do something. And you don't know who
- 25:48Speaker 2: this man. Yeah, little extreme example.
- 25:53Speaker 6: Yes, it was.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Mind your business, go across the fence and the man

- 26:16Speaker 7: He's upset, but.
- 26:17Speaker 9: I feel like if he can hate on me, then

- 26:41Speaker 2: these these slim fit suits because they're in shape.
- 26:45Speaker 5: They look good on some guy.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Now it's some guys that's wearing this slim fit suit wrong.
- 26:51Speaker 2: If you button your coat, fellas and it's tight, crossed
- 26:55Speaker 2: it back, it looked like you got on the home
- 26:58Speaker 2: depot work vest. Then that ain't how to back of
- 27:02Speaker 2: your suit post to look. You can't look like you
- 27:06Speaker 2: got on a copper fit back brace when you button
- 27:10Speaker 2: your jack out. Other than that, gone and rocket.
- 27:17Speaker 7: Fellas, all right, all right, last one, last one?
- 27:22Speaker 2: Feel Oh.
- 27:23Speaker 9: This is from Carmela in Saint Petersburg. Carmela writes, my

- 27:30Speaker 9: the Bahamas. Since I'm working from home, he thought it
- 27:34Speaker 9: would be cool. I'm not spontaneous like that, and I
- 27:37Speaker 9: really don't know him well enough yet.
- 27:40Speaker 7: Should I ask him to postpone it?
- 27:43Speaker 2: Absolutely? If you're uncomfortable going, don't go. Yeah, I don't understand.
- 27:48Speaker 2: You know, you're not spontaneous like that for you. That's
- 27:52Speaker 2: moving a little bit too fast.
- 27:53Speaker 7: A week.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Oh, I don't know.
- 27:56Speaker 2: If he's spent a night or a week in at

- 28:25Speaker 5: I set up all night.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Looking at him.

- 28:30Speaker 2: Dog, This dude was snoring, scratching, blowing wind, talking, getting up,
- 28:37Speaker 2: going to the bathroom, moaning, kicking covers on the floor. Dog,
- 28:42Speaker 2: this dude was over there in a full blown wrestling
- 28:45Speaker 2: match with itself.
- 28:46Speaker 7: I couldn't even go to sleep.

- 29:17Speaker 7: You determine you will never share a room again.
- 29:20Speaker 2: I ain't never been in a room with a person never
- 29:25Speaker 2: but but you got to learn them lessen, and that's

- 29:39Speaker 2: on these islands.
- 29:40Speaker 7: This way it really is.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Knowing them island police, they ain't the same. They ain't

- 31:56Speaker 2: And you see a whole group of men on TV
- 32:00Speaker 2: crying over something that happened holding each other. You know, man,
- 32:05Speaker 2: I just look, man, look, something happened. I've heard conflicting
- 32:12Speaker 2: things about there's a strong possibility he could get out
- 32:16Speaker 2: and all of this here. I don't know. I don't know.

- 34:21Speaker 14: those around them and spreading.
- 34:24Speaker 7: And we are witnessing that no doubt. But I say this.

- 41:11Speaker 9: Was National lie Day, l Ie, National lie Day. We'll
- 41:15Speaker 9: give you some tips on how to be a good liar.
- 41:17Speaker 9: Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 41:23Speaker 9: Case you missed it. This past Friday was National Lie Day. Guys,
- 41:27Speaker 9: and we all know the consequences of lying and getting
- 41:30Speaker 9: caught can be huge. So Steve, Tommy Junior, here's some
- 41:34Speaker 9: suggested tips from wikiHow dot com on how to be
- 41:39Speaker 9: a good liar. Please feel free to add to this list. Okay,
- 41:43Speaker 9: First of all, Steve, it says to be a good liar,
- 41:47Speaker 9: you have to tell a believable lie. You got to
- 41:50Speaker 9: ask yourself if you would believe the lie that you're telling.
- 41:54Speaker 9: Think of questions the other person may ask.
- 41:57Speaker 5: And all lie must believed.
- 42:01Speaker 1: So you agreed, agreed?
- 42:03Speaker 2: The ain't No. First of all, tell a believable lie.
- 42:05Speaker 2: All your lives must.
- 42:07Speaker 7: Be believable, but some of yours.
- 42:09Speaker 2: See No, all your lives have to be grounded in truth,
- 42:14Speaker 2: in truth.
- 42:15Speaker 7: Okay, all right, you want to add Tommy or junr No.
- 42:19Speaker 1: No, that's that's the first rule.
- 42:20Speaker 2: You should. You should You should lie practice though you
- 42:23Speaker 2: know what I mean.
- 42:24Speaker 9: That's what says practice saying the lit It says it's
- 42:29Speaker 9: stand in front of the mirror and practice what you're
- 42:32Speaker 9: going to say.
- 42:32Speaker 2: So you're commit to.
- 42:36Speaker 1: Well you don't agree, no.
- 42:37Speaker 2: No, call your boy run it by him. You need
- 42:40Speaker 2: to hear another voice you in the mirror. You ain't
- 42:42Speaker 2: talking to nobody but yourself. You hear you think you right?
- 42:45Speaker 2: You got to run this by somebody else.
- 42:47Speaker 7: Okay.
- 42:48Speaker 9: Now they seem to disagree with that one, Steve. They say,
- 42:51Speaker 9: if possible, try not to involve other people.
- 42:55Speaker 5: You don't involve them in the lie.
- 42:57Speaker 7: Uh huh.
- 42:58Speaker 5: But but like Tommy said, you got to practice.
- 43:00Speaker 2: You gotta practice with your boy.
- 43:03Speaker 1: So you're saying you need to have a dress rehearsal.
- 43:06Speaker 7: Okay, so you can.
- 43:08Speaker 2: On the magnitude of the line.
- 43:09Speaker 7: Can you and Tommy do a quick dress rehearsal line.
- 43:12Speaker 2: I'll give you an example. If you go into court,
- 43:14Speaker 2: you need you need to press court.
- 43:17Speaker 9: Yeah, this is a place where you put your hand
- 43:20Speaker 9: on the Bible.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth,
- 43:24Speaker 1: and nothing but your Bible.
- 43:26Speaker 7: You don't make it that like with your partner. Don't
- 43:31Speaker 7: make it that like with your partner.
- 43:32Speaker 2: If you tell her, skip all that and can we
- 43:34Speaker 2: back to court? But your head, that is not your Bible.
- 43:37Speaker 7: Yeah, Bible period.
- 43:40Speaker 5: No, that's not the Bible. That's that you don't know
- 43:43Speaker 5: who had that boy.
- 43:48Speaker 7: You're going to jail, all right.
- 43:51Speaker 9: And here's one It says, keep the life short, Keep
- 43:54Speaker 9: it short, don't add any extra information or anything like that.
- 43:59Speaker 9: Keep shut what you got, what you got to say
- 44:02Speaker 9: to that?
- 44:05Speaker 2: That depends.
- 44:05Speaker 10: I mean, you can try to keep it short, but
- 44:07Speaker 10: sometimes a lie gotta have some detail to it. So
- 44:10Speaker 10: you got to got to have a story with your line.
- 44:12Speaker 10: Your life has to have a story to it has
- 44:15Speaker 10: to have a beginning, middle, and.
- 44:17Speaker 7: Its Yes, that's what makes it a lie.
- 44:20Speaker 9: Yeah, you know what I like to do.
- 44:25Speaker 8: What I have an activity? As soon as I finished
- 44:27Speaker 8: tell the line, I have something to go do. Right
- 44:29Speaker 8: when I finish line, I can't stand there that you think.
- 44:31Speaker 8: I got to get out of it.
- 44:34Speaker 9: Also, leaving after you tell, I tell you escape, that's
- 44:38Speaker 9: I'm going.
- 44:39Speaker 1: That's another come on.
- 44:41Speaker 5: Lying in paragraphs.
- 44:44Speaker 2: That's like what like see, because you when you lie,
- 44:49Speaker 2: you gotta have it's got to be based on truth.
- 44:51Speaker 2: So you got to start with some truth. Every lie
- 44:55Speaker 2: must be laced with some form of truth.
- 45:00Speaker 9: All right, Okay, now here's one. If you stand completely
- 45:05Speaker 9: still saying that's not a good idea while you're telling
- 45:09Speaker 9: you lie, that person will know you're lying.
- 45:11Speaker 7: You need to move around naturally. Absolutely, are you standing.
- 45:20Speaker 2: Clean?
- 45:21Speaker 5: My glasses. I do a whole lot of.
- 45:22Speaker 7: Stuff when I'm lying, while you're lying.
- 45:24Speaker 2: When you're lying, what is it? What do you do?
- 45:27Speaker 5: I joink coffee, clean my glasses?
- 45:30Speaker 2: You know? Text?
- 45:32Speaker 7: So are you avoiding icon?
- 45:34Speaker 2: Look? You dead in you? Yeah?
- 45:39Speaker 7: Well tell me you were an actor.
- 45:44Speaker 2: So I'm gonna look, bit, I'm gonna cry if I got.
- 45:47Speaker 9: You, all right? The last one is cover your tracks.
- 45:54Speaker 9: Cover your tracks. Don't leave any evidence behind like social media,
- 45:59Speaker 9: don't post any thing and lie about you can't do
- 46:01Speaker 9: any of that, So cover your tracks.
- 46:04Speaker 2: You got a good enough lie, you ain't got to
- 46:05Speaker 2: cover your tracks.
- 46:09Speaker 9: Coming over next, and it's a prank phone call from
- 46:12Speaker 9: the nephew.
- 46:13Speaker 1: You guys, right, what's a liar?
- 46:16Speaker 9: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 46:23Speaker 9: at the top of the hour. Right about four minutes
- 46:26Speaker 9: after this is one of my favorite Strawberry letters. The
- 46:29Speaker 9: subject is I slipped up and went back for more. Okay,
- 46:35Speaker 9: we'll find out what that's all about just a few
- 46:38Speaker 9: but right now the nephew you hear me, he's here

- 46:45Speaker 10: It's called love, deposit, love, deposit.
- 46:53Speaker 7: What's with the voice.
- 46:55Speaker 10: That's when you're trying to be sexy because you worked
- 46:57Speaker 10: all week. That's what that is. Yeah, but you're always
- 47:03Speaker 10: trying to be sexy.
- 47:07Speaker 2: Well, I mean I am.
- 47:08Speaker 10: I am sexy even when my voice shot, I'm still
- 47:10Speaker 10: sex I am.
- 47:13Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 47:14Speaker 7: I know you ain't correct, but I love it.
- 47:17Speaker 2: Well I am. He's gonna say, is, I'm is.
- 47:24Speaker 1: Oh, you corrected him to be to worse to worse.
- 47:31Speaker 2: You know, we got callers that listen to your English.
- 47:33Speaker 2: You know that. Yeah, that's why I'm saying that to
- 47:37Speaker 2: that caller that told me I got to do better,
- 47:40Speaker 2: and he was really no, I'm not.
- 47:43Speaker 6: No.
- 47:43Speaker 2: I'm a role model for inspiration and uplift of young people.

- 56:53Speaker 9: I slipped up and went back for more.
- 56:56Speaker 2: Stephen Shirley, excuse me, shey is slipped up. I slipped
- 56:59Speaker 2: up and went for seconds.
- 57:07Speaker 9: I have asked you, sir, to change it to more.
- 57:11Speaker 9: All right, dear Stephen Shirley. I'm married to a great
- 57:15Speaker 9: man that looked good and had everything going for him
- 57:18Speaker 9: except in the bedroom. I told myself that sex wasn't everything,
- 57:21Speaker 9: and I managed to make it for three years without cheating.
- 57:25Speaker 9: Up until our wedding. I was sleeping with my daughter's
- 57:29Speaker 9: father because we already had history. I was comfortable with him.
- 57:33Speaker 9: Some would say too comfortable because we were not using protection.
- 57:38Speaker 9: My husband and I had sex maybe once a week,
- 57:40Speaker 9: and that was all for him because he's on the
- 57:42Speaker 9: smaller side. I was sleeping with my ex at least
- 57:45Speaker 9: three times a week, and then we had a pregnancy
- 57:48Speaker 9: scare and it scared me half to death. I was
- 57:51Speaker 9: not going to risk the good life over great sex.
- 57:54Speaker 9: My ex got married last year, so we'd see each
- 57:58Speaker 9: other to pick up to pick up our and drop
- 58:01Speaker 9: off our daughter.
- 58:02Speaker 7: That all changed two days ago.
- 58:04Speaker 9: I went to pick up my daughter and my ex
- 58:06Speaker 9: set his wife is out of town and he wanted
- 58:08Speaker 9: to show me how they painted my daughter's room. My
- 58:11Speaker 9: daughter was watching TV in the family room. That man
- 58:14Speaker 9: did not take me to our daughter's bedroom. He took
- 58:17Speaker 9: me to this huge storage area by his bedroom and
- 58:20Speaker 9: he locked the door. My husband called at the very moment,
- 58:23Speaker 9: and I told him I had something to do first
- 58:26Speaker 9: and i'd be home soon. I had to have sex
- 58:29Speaker 9: real quick. That's what I had to do. It was
- 58:32Speaker 9: so so, so so good. I got myself together and
- 58:35Speaker 9: my daughter and I left. All the way home, my
- 58:38Speaker 9: daughter asked why we were locked in the closet. I
- 58:41Speaker 9: tried to convince her that she was mistaken. She is
- 58:43Speaker 9: a very outspoken eight year old, so I'm sure she'll
- 58:47Speaker 9: ask again. What do I tell my child? And what
- 58:50Speaker 9: if she asked me in front of in front of
- 58:52Speaker 9: my husband? Wow, what a conundrum you're in. I'm sorry
- 58:57Speaker 9: you didn't ask us before you went over to your
- 59:00Speaker 9: ex's house and had sex and got locked in a
- 59:02Speaker 9: storage room with him. You were really gambling with what
- 59:05Speaker 9: you've described as your good life for sex first and
- 59:11Speaker 9: no protection, sex which led to a pregnancy scare. And
- 59:14Speaker 9: then your eight year old daughter asking questions as kids
- 59:17Speaker 9: do when they see things or hear things. So as
- 59:20Speaker 9: I see the problem is you. You're reckless, you're selfish.
- 59:24Speaker 9: You didn't care about your husband. What he was going
- 59:27Speaker 9: to say. What you want from him is a lifestyle
- 59:31Speaker 9: he provides for you, as you call it, the good life.
- 59:33Speaker 9: You said your husband is a good man, so why
- 59:35Speaker 9: would you risk it over someone who clearly only wants
- 59:38Speaker 9: you for sex.
- 59:39Speaker 7: Now, your daughter is not mentioning it is a chance.
- 59:43Speaker 9: That's a chance you're going to have to take, and
- 59:46Speaker 9: that might work for you since you're a gambler anyway,
- 59:48Speaker 9: or you're going to have to sit her down and
- 59:50Speaker 9: ask her not to say anything.
- 59:52Speaker 7: Those are your choices.
- 59:53Speaker 9: Either you take a chance on her not saying anything,
- 59:56Speaker 9: or you sit her down and ask her not to
- 59:58Speaker 9: say anything to a step down period. I hope you've
- 1:00:02Speaker 9: learned something from this experience and you're gonna stop doing
- 1:00:05Speaker 9: stupid stuff. That's all I have to say to you, Steve.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: I don't think she's learned anything, and I'm a little
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: bit confused by the letter. Actually, she says she's married
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: to a great man that looked good and had everything
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: going for him except in the bedroom. I told myself
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: sex wasn't everything, and I managed to make it for
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: three years without cheating. So now is she saying that
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: she started the cheating after she got married.
- 1:00:35Speaker 7: Being married to her husband. Yeah, for three years she
- 1:00:40Speaker 7: was good for her.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: Because what it sounds like, she says, up until our wedding,
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: this is what she says, Up until our wedding, I
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: was sleeping with my daughter's.
- 1:00:50Speaker 9: Father, and then they got married, and then for three
- 1:00:54Speaker 9: years she was all good.
- 1:00:56Speaker 7: Then she started again.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: All up until our wedding, I was sleeping with my
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: daughter's father because we already had history.
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: I was comfortable with him.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: Some would say too comfortable because we were not using protection.
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: My husband and I had sex maybe once a week,
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: and that was all for him because he's on the
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: smaller side. Yeah. I was sleeping with my ex three
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: times a week, and then we had a little pregnancy.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: Scared That scared her, and I wasn't gonna risk a
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: good life over great sex. Then her ex got married
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: last year, so I only saw each other for pickup
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: and drop off of our daughter. That all changed two
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: days ago. She went over to the exit and said
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: his wife was out of town and he wanted to
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: show me how they painted my daughter's room. My daughter
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: was watching TV in the family room room, and that
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: man didn't take me to the daughter's bedroom. He took
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: me to a huge storage area by his bedroom. Not
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: where is that at it? I don't know, a huge
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: storage room.
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: Down there by the bedroom? What?
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: What they haven't had a few houses?
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: What?
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: Lady, lady, stop trying to make this like it was
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: some big, huge storage area.
- 1:02:21Speaker 7: Exactly if you.
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: Got another huge room in your house, why ain't that
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: your master yeah? Or why ain't that the junior sweep?
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: Ain't nobody got no huge extra room in the house.
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: You was in a closet. Let's make this thing as
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: gritty and dirty as it really is. Yeah, huge storage area?
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: What was in the mops buckets? That's a closet, storage stage.
- 1:02:51Speaker 7: Gowns to make I would hang on, Steve, We'll have
- 1:02:57Speaker 7: part two of your response coming up at twenty three
- 1:02:59Speaker 7: minutes after today's title is I slipped up and went
- 1:03:04Speaker 7: back for more? Right after this, you're listening to the
- 1:03:08Speaker 7: Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: Hey, look, you can't let the urge to sing your
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: favorite songs while you're driving distract you from that truck
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: drifting toward your lane or that lane splitting biker creeping
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: up beside you. Fortunately, every Honday offers advanced safety features
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: that can alert you to potential dangers around you.
- 1:03:32Speaker 10: That's right, because Hondai is always working to ensure the
- 1:03:35Speaker 10: road doesn't get you. Hondai vehicles have won over one
- 1:03:38Speaker 10: hundred and twenty IIHS Top Safety awards from two thousand
- 1:03:42Speaker 10: and six to twenty twenty four as of December twenty
- 1:03:45Speaker 10: twenty four.
- 1:03:46Speaker 9: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:03:49Speaker 9: The subject I slipped up and went back for more.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you did. You got this great guy, good
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: at everything except in the bedroom, budd he's a great guy.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: Other than that, you was trying to act like sex
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: wasn't that important, and you was doing all. You slept
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: with him up until you got married. But then after
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: you got married, three years went by and you was okay,
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: and you were sleeping with this dude three times a
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: week and your husband once because he's on the smaller side,
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: so that was it for him. And then you said,
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: I'm not gonna risk a good life over great sex.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: Now your ex got married, so that ended that whole thing.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: Until recently all you all saw each other was doing
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: pick up and drop off of y'all's daughter. You went
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: over to the house to pick up the daughter one time.
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: He told you that his wife was out of town
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: and wanted to show you how they painted.
- 1:04:50Speaker 5: The baby bedroom. That's when he said, he took you back.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: To this huge storage area by his bedroom and locked
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: the door. That's a lie. Let's cheaping this thing right
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: on up. You know, got a house, got a large
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: storage air next to their bedroom. That's a hall closet.
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: That's what that is. It wasn't no huge room and
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: all that. Then he locked the door behind you. But
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: then your husband called it that very moment. Hell right,
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: I'm be right home quick. Wait, I'll be home, but
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: I don't know what these people doing out here in
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: this traffic. I'll be home and I'll call you. Let
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: me call you back. I got to just be buy.
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: So.
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: I don't know how you played that off, but that
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: sounded like it. I had to have sex real quick.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: That's what I had to do, and it was so
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: so so good. I got myself together and my daughter
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: and I left. On the way home, my daughter asked
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: me why we were locked in the closet. That's because
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: your daughter knew what it was. Yeah, she heard this
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: huge story room. The daughter said, it's a closet. What
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: room down the hallway next to the bedroom. That's a
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: huge extra lady bye. I tried to convince her. My
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: daughter asked why we were locked in the closet. I
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: tried to convince her that she was mistaken. She's a
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: very outspoken eight year old, so I'm sure she'll ask again.
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: What do I tell my child? And what if she
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: ask in front of my husband? Well, this is how
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: you had an eight year old.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: You use something that's important to an eight year old
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: and you hang it over the head in the form
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: of a threat.
- 1:06:58Speaker 7: Okay, like you.
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: Oh so I see you don't want nothing for Christmas.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: You're not gonna get no birthday gift this year. Now
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: you go in this house running your mouth and asking
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: about it. Because I was not in that room. I
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: was in there looking at your bedroom, and we came
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: right out. You was watching TV. That's why I got
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: you and we came home.
- 1:07:24Speaker 7: Well where were those noises?
- 1:07:26Speaker 12: I heard?
- 1:07:26Speaker 7: Mommy?
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: You keep on home, do listen to me. You keep
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: on and you finish find out that it ain't either
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: one of them your reds, dady. She's only eight st Well,
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: you're gonna need therapy playing with me. What you're gonna need?
- 1:07:46Speaker 7: I heard so much noise and you were hollering Mommy.
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: Stop calling me that, because I ain't you real mama.
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: Now get in the car. See, I'm gonna put something
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: else on that eight year old head. I'm gonna twist
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: their little brain up so bad. We'll be talking about
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: the closet.
- 1:08:01Speaker 5: Mama. What you mean You ain't my mama.
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: I ain't your mama.
- 1:08:04Speaker 5: And that made your daddies. Now let's get in the.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: Car and go to school.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: Baby.
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: You have a quandary, lady, because you did something in
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: front of the child.
- 1:08:18Speaker 5: Kids nowadays are not stupid.
- 1:08:20Speaker 7: They are not.
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: They are over exposed to everything. Everything that's right.
- 1:08:27Speaker 5: Every single thing.
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: So know that, be aware, make the adjustments and now
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: all you can do. And you raised this little girl,
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: so you know she's outspoken, and you know she gonna
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: ask again one more question, because mammy, you never cleared
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: this up.
- 1:08:43Speaker 7: Yeah, one more question. Why were your clothes all wrinkled
- 1:08:46Speaker 7: and stuff?
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: Why was my clothes rinking?
- 1:08:51Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: Because I went to the bathroom and David didn't have
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: no toilet, titian. I was thinking about using my blog,
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: but I found a toilet. Really really, don't ask me nothing.
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: I say stuff like.
- 1:09:05Speaker 7: Mommy, what about your hair? It was messed up?
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: My hair was You weren't looking at me when we
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: came in here because you're so busy watching that TV.
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: My hair was messed up when we came in here
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: having a baddy.
- 1:09:17Speaker 9: It was it was no, it was straight on that side.

- 1:13:41Speaker 9: on social media needs some advice. She says, great guy,

- 1:13:48Speaker 2: Look like you got your hair on baccles. What are
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: you doing?
- 1:13:52Speaker 7: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:13:59Speaker 9: I Steve here. This is from Jaquela on Steve Harvey FM.
- 1:14:03Speaker 9: Jaquyla says, I've been with my boyfriend for almost four years,
- 1:14:07Speaker 9: and emotionally he's everything I've ever hoped for. He's kind, loyal,
- 1:14:12Speaker 9: and thoughtful. But the sex has never been that good.
- 1:14:15Speaker 9: It's not for lack of communication. He just doesn't seem
- 1:14:19Speaker 9: to care or want to get better. I hate that
- 1:14:22Speaker 9: this matters so much to me, but it does. Can
- 1:14:25Speaker 9: I really commit to a lifelong relationship with someone who
- 1:14:28Speaker 9: is bad in bed?
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: Yeah, that's all he bad, you know, all his bad
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: sex and this come that's just no practice.
- 1:14:38Speaker 7: But he doesn't seem to care, she says, or.
- 1:14:40Speaker 5: His call of me is he's having it for himself
- 1:14:44Speaker 5: and not for her.
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: If a man could understand, yeah that if you put
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: the focus on her, your return is even.
- 1:14:54Speaker 7: Greater in every aspect of life.
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: You just got to put the focus on her her first.
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: Take your time. Full play is critical. What full play
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: is critical? You need that because it extends the time spent. Okay,
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: and you're gonna have to learn some things. The precession
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: is just as important and can be critical to the
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: outcome of the main event.
- 1:15:29Speaker 7: Yeah, because a woman has to get her in the
- 1:15:32Speaker 7: right head space.
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, here's a deal. I think that's the best
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: way to put it. For fellas, It's like when you
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: go to the fight. You got the pre liums, you
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: got the bouts that start before before the main call
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: on the car.
- 1:15:45Speaker 7: Now they can understand it.
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: You've got to have an outstanding under card. The pre
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: limns have got to be outstanding. You better preach because
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: the main card is everything.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: Your work, yes, work, yeah, that's.
- 1:16:06Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying.
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: And then word get out. Well watch see see see
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: see here the part that you don't know this why
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: this young boy struggling over here and she won't know
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: word get out about your fight car.
- 1:16:25Speaker 7: Okay, okay, uh.
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: Next thing you know, word is out talking about man.
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: You got to get a ticket to see this.
- 1:16:34Speaker 7: Hill the main event.
- 1:16:38Speaker 15: Yeah okay, all right, all right, you ap preached that thing,
- 1:16:45Speaker 15: so we have time.
- 1:16:46Speaker 9: Yeah, all right, we have time for another one.
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: Steve.
- 1:16:55Speaker 7: This is from Layla on Steve Harvey f M.
- 1:16:58Speaker 9: Layla says, so I had a bad relationship with this
- 1:17:01Speaker 9: guy and we broke up. However, I just found out
- 1:17:05Speaker 9: that my friend who was cool with me and my ex,
- 1:17:08Speaker 9: knew what my ex was was up to, and he
- 1:17:10Speaker 9: was up to no good and he didn't tell me,
- 1:17:13Speaker 9: which is okay, his choice. However, now my friend just
- 1:17:17Speaker 9: got hired at my job and he's just chopping it
- 1:17:20Speaker 9: up with me like we're cool.
- 1:17:22Speaker 7: We're not.
- 1:17:23Speaker 9: Is there a way I can tell him don't talk
- 1:17:25Speaker 9: to me without making myself look like I'm mean at work?
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: She's done?
- 1:17:31Speaker 7: Yeah, she's done with him.
- 1:17:33Speaker 5: And her friend was a guy.
- 1:17:36Speaker 7: Yeah, uh huh tell you all this.
- 1:17:41Speaker 9: She and the guy that's her friend was also friend
- 1:17:44Speaker 9: with her ex boyfriend.
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: And his loyalty. His loyalty is to.
- 1:17:49Speaker 7: His boy Yep.
- 1:17:51Speaker 5: First, that's manhood cold.
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: Okay. I know I know a lot of couples that
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: I'm cool with, but it we probably cool cause of
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: that due I ain't never been cool with a woman.
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: And then she introduced me to a boyfriend.
- 1:18:08Speaker 5: What is that.
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: I ain't never had that? I'm cool with the doe
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: because I told you already. If you find me and
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: you not really Finn to be cool, I'm just gonna
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: let you know that, right, were not really finn to
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: be cool. Okay, it might look like.
- 1:18:25Speaker 10: It, but I'm working on something looking upside your head though,
- 1:18:32Speaker 10: don't slip.
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: I'm a hall all right.
- 1:18:36Speaker 9: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming

- 1:18:54Speaker 9: a trend growing in popularity with gen zers.
- 1:18:57Speaker 7: It's all about.

- 1:23:38Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, no, I've lived in a mansion with drama.
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: The Bible says it is better for a man to
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: live on the rooftop on the corner of a house
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: than inside of it with a quelsome woman. You don't know.

- 1:24:26Speaker 9: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: Hey, look, you can't let the urge to sing your
- 1:24:35Speaker 2: favorite songs while you're driving distract you from that truck
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: drifting toward your lane or that lane splitting vikar creeping
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: up beside you. Fortunately, every Hunday offers advanced safety features
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: that can alert you to potential dangers around you.
- 1:24:51Speaker 10: That's right, because Hondai is always working to ensure the
- 1:24:53Speaker 10: road doesn't get you. Hondai vehicles have one over one
- 1:24:56Speaker 10: hundred and twenty IIHS Top Safety awards from two thous
- 1:25:00Speaker 10: I was six to twenty twenty four as of December
- 1:25:03Speaker 10: twenty four.

- 1:25:07Speaker 9: day and Steve you ready to close out the show.
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what, man, it's something personal. I'm really
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: really learning more and more and more about forgiveness. I'm
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: just learning more and more and more about it. You know,
- 1:25:23Speaker 2: I've always known that forgiveness is for you, not so
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: much the other person. Bishop Jake said it best one time.
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: He say not forgiving a person. It's like you drinking
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: a poison hoping that they die. And that's really what
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: it is when you forgive somebody. Well, first of all,
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: let me start with when you don't forgive somebody. Let
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: me tell you what happens when you don't forgive a person.
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: Every time they name come up, it stirs up something
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: in you, don't it. Every time you hear they name mention,
- 1:26:03Speaker 2: it does something to you. Every time you run across
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: a picture, it brings up something, don't it. Every time
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: you hear another story about this person, blah blah blah,
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: every time you hear some news about them, every time
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: you hear they said something else about you. It just
- 1:26:20Speaker 2: keeps on bringing stuff up, even when you sitting around
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: on your own. You imagine what you gonna say to
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: them when you see them. Oh, I know you do,
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: because I've been through it the exact same way. Oh man,
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: Especially man, when somebody somebody do something to you that
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: ain't right and you know it ain't right. That's hard, man.
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: When somebody's sitting around lying on you and you know
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: the truth, but you, for whatever the reason, can't defend yourself.
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: There wasn't available or nobody asked you about it. Hey, man,
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: that's tough. And you sit up and you're talking about
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: man when I see so and so, this is what
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: I'm gonna say.
- 1:27:12Speaker 5: I can't tell you.
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: The hours I've wasted wishing I could run up into somebody,
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: hoping I see them somewhere. I mean, and I'm miles
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: and miles and miles away from this person I'm talking about. Man,
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: really got no chance of running up into him at all.
- 1:27:36Speaker 10: All.
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: Then they pop up again and they do it to you.
- 1:27:40Speaker 2: Here's the one that really hurts your feelings. Have you
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: ever had somebody do something to you publicly, then see
- 1:27:48Speaker 2: you privately, you know, do something to you down on
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: your job or something like that, or at your little
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: club or your bowling night, And then privately they apologize
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: to you and you say okay, And then a little
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: while later they do the exact same thing again. They
- 1:28:05Speaker 2: back out in public running their mouth. You gonna wait
- 1:28:07Speaker 2: a minute, man, I know the truth about you. I
- 1:28:12Speaker 2: really know. When you see me face to face, you
- 1:28:14Speaker 2: a coward. I know that about you. But soon as
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: you get in front of somebody, soon as the spotlight
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: on you, here you come with a brand new has
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: that ever happened to you? Yes, it has. Somebody says
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: something to you down at the church, talked about you.
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: Then you confronted them, forgive me, sister, forgive me brother,
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: and you do it, and then a little later on
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: they do it again. Okay, cool, I got all that.
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: You gotta forgive them? Oh no, no, Steve, I'm gonna
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: tighten them up. No, man, let me tell you what
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: you're doing. You're doing the same thing I was doing
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: to myself. You wasting energy because guess what, what did
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: it really change? The stuff they said about you? What
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: did it really change? You've been moving on and rolling
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: on and just going on about your day. You really
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: man ain't lost a step because of that lie, that rumor,
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: that untruth, that falsehood. You really didn't lose a step
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: at all. But you keep prohibiting the next step because
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: you won't let go of something somebody did to you.
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: The Lord's prayer says, forgive us our trust passes, as
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: we forgive those who truspass against us, because we gonna
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: make a mistake too. Now it may not be that one,
- 1:29:36Speaker 2: but we're gonna have to go to God for something. Now,
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: God gonna reward us and give us something the same
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: way we give it out to other people.
- 1:29:43Speaker 5: Plus, let me tell you what I really had to
- 1:29:45Speaker 5: learn about it. When you don't.
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: Forgive a person, you're blocking your blessings. You blocking your blessings.
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: A woman, an old woman that I know who I
- 1:30:01Speaker 2: just happened to be talking to a relative, as she says, Steve,
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: I'm so proud of you. I have watched you. I
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: have watched God bless you. I have watched God change
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: your life. I have watched you develop into a better person.
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: I'm so happy you met Marjorie. I can see so
- 1:30:23Speaker 2: many things in your life. She said. But let me
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: tell you something, young man. If you're holding on to
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: anything that anybody has done to you, let it go,
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: because you're blocking your blessings. As blessed as you are,
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: she said, I bet you there's something you can't figure
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: out why you just can't get this next one to
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: go through. And I said, you know what, You're right.
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: I've been wondering why something taking so long, she said,
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: Because God ain't gonna give it to you and to
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: you forgive that person, he said, because he don't want
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: you to carry that with you into the new level.
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: He gonna take you too. In order to get to
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: the next level, you gotta let some stuff go. In
- 1:31:08Speaker 2: order to reach your full orbit in life, you can't
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: carry all the gas tanks. Some of them gas tanks
- 1:31:13Speaker 2: is empty and out of gas. They got to fall
- 1:31:15Speaker 2: off so the ship can get into full orbit. Let
- 1:31:19Speaker 2: it go so God can move you forward. That's the
- 1:31:23Speaker 2: best thing I've learned about forgiveness, And it's really for
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: you because that person right there really ain't about lotted now.
- 1:31:33Speaker 2: They really ain't, So why would you allow them to
- 1:31:36Speaker 2: affect you that way? Just think about it, y'all.
- 1:31:39Speaker 6: I have.
- 1:31:41Speaker 5: For myself, y'all, have a great day. Talk to God today.
- 1:31:44Speaker 5: He would absolutely love to hear from me, all right.
