Immediately following the vision of the kings and the Antichrist (the Little Horn), Daniel sees God the Father on His Throne. He is seen judging, and the book containing information concerning the judgment is opened. He is surrounded by myriads of celestial beings who are prepared to carry out these judgments. The last empire which is the Fourth Gentile Empire is being judged (vv. 11–12).
