- 0:09Speaker 1: a suit all looking back to back down, giving them
- 0:13Speaker 1: more like American buck things. And it's not me true
- 0:20Speaker 1: good at Steve har listening to move together for Steve. Please, Bobby,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join join me to be doing me. You
- 0:58Speaker 1: gotta use turning. You gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn you haven't got to turn them out. Then the water,
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water. Come come on your baby at it Aha,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I said, ah, I show will, Good morning everybody. You're
- 2:07Speaker 1: listening to the voice, come on dig me now, one
- 2:10Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got the radio show. I feel
- 2:14Speaker 1: it's necessary to explain what I say in the morning
- 2:16Speaker 1: because somebody asked me, what do you mean by that
- 2:19Speaker 1: when you say that in the morning. When I say huh,
- 2:24Speaker 1: it's in response to David Hollister opening the song by saying,
- 2:28Speaker 1: go ahead, big Daddy, go ahead. I said, uh, huh.
- 2:32Speaker 1: I show will. Then I say good morning everybody, because
- 2:36Speaker 1: I was raised at Ray, You're supposed to speak when
- 2:38Speaker 1: you come in the room. I'm coming in y'all's room,
- 2:41Speaker 1: whether it's your bad room, the room in your house,
- 2:44Speaker 1: your car, your office. You know, wherever you had I
- 2:47Speaker 1: come in the room or God speaks, I say, good morning, everybody.
- 2:51Speaker 1: You are listening to the voice. And then I got
- 2:54Speaker 1: to introduce myself because as a performer, I always felt
- 2:58Speaker 1: my best when I was introduced. It's knowing. Why would
- 3:01Speaker 1: you walk out on stage anybody introduce you? You know
- 3:04Speaker 1: you can't get the round of applause. It's just it's horrible.
- 3:07Speaker 1: So I say, you are listening to the voice one
- 3:10Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey. Come on, dig me now. Now
- 3:14Speaker 1: that's old school. I got that, but that's I was
- 3:16Speaker 1: once again, dig me now? Is I want you to
- 3:20Speaker 1: feel what I'm about to say. That's all I'm saying.
- 3:24Speaker 1: That's not a bragging thing. You know, you're listening to
- 3:27Speaker 1: the voice wanting only Steve Harvey. Come on, dig me now.
- 3:31Speaker 1: I'm just asking you to feel what I'm saying in
- 3:34Speaker 1: the morning, because it's part of a promise that I
- 3:36Speaker 1: made to God. See a long time ago, I told
- 3:40Speaker 1: God if he allowed me to make it, that when
- 3:43Speaker 1: I got there, I would tell everybody I know how
- 3:46Speaker 1: I did it, and I wasn't gonna shortcut it or
- 3:49Speaker 1: shade him on it. I said, if you allow me
- 3:52Speaker 1: to make it if you give me the strength, the courage,
- 3:55Speaker 1: the wisdom. You gave me a gift if you let
- 3:59Speaker 1: me apply it. Don't destroy myself in the process. Forgive
- 4:03Speaker 1: me for my sins along the way. Continue to hold
- 4:07Speaker 1: and rock me when I need it. When I make it,
- 4:11Speaker 1: I promise you Lord, when I get there, I will
- 4:14Speaker 1: tell everybody how I made it. Well. This started back
- 4:19Speaker 1: in LA when I got on the radio and I
- 4:24Speaker 1: was making it okay. I was doing okay, but I
- 4:27Speaker 1: had to keep my promise to God. My promise was,
- 4:30Speaker 1: if you allow me to make it, I'll tell everybody
- 4:34Speaker 1: how I got there. I have to tell you that
- 4:38Speaker 1: every day because if it was not for that grace
- 4:41Speaker 1: and mercy, I wouldn't even be here able to fulfill
- 4:45Speaker 1: my promise. Because I've done enough dirt in my life.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Man to not be worthy. He could have easily walked
- 4:52Speaker 1: away from me a long time ago because I had
- 4:55Speaker 1: show walked away from him. See, and I didn't walk
- 4:59Speaker 1: away from him once. I walked away from him a
- 5:02Speaker 1: bunch of times. But guess what He forgave me a
- 5:06Speaker 1: bunch of times. He let me back a bunch of times.
- 5:12Speaker 1: He gave me a second chance. A bunch of times.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I'm a living example of hundreds of chances. I'm telling you, man,
- 5:23Speaker 1: hundreds of chances He's given me to get it right.
- 5:29Speaker 1: His forgiveness and his mercy is available for everybody. It's
- 5:34Speaker 1: the only reason I get on this show every days,
- 5:37Speaker 1: the only reason I have the blessings that's coming my way.
- 5:39Speaker 1: It's the only way that the things that keep happening
- 5:42Speaker 1: in my life, Man, that I have no explanation for,
- 5:47Speaker 1: it's because of his grace and mercy. See, anytime something
- 5:51Speaker 1: good happens in my life and I can't explain it,
- 5:54Speaker 1: that's usually him. He's exhibiting to me. I love you, man,
- 6:02Speaker 1: he exhibits to me. Remember, I'm a forgiving god. Man. Remember,
- 6:07Speaker 1: So when you fall, Steve, don't lay down now, don't
- 6:11Speaker 1: you lay down there. Don't you let the devil fool
- 6:13Speaker 1: you that because you'd have made some mistakes that you
- 6:16Speaker 1: ain't that you can't do it because everybody gonna make them.
- 6:20Speaker 1: There's none perfect, no, not one. So get up, keep moving,
- 6:24Speaker 1: keep pushing, step on what you're laying there for. Your
- 6:29Speaker 1: daddy didn't raise you that way. Look, man, my father
- 6:33Speaker 1: was just about manhood. I'm gonna just tell you my
- 6:35Speaker 1: daddy never had a conversation with me about church. He
- 6:38Speaker 1: beat me for not going, but you know a couple
- 6:41Speaker 1: of times, but he wasn't about that wasn't his message.
- 6:44Speaker 1: That was my mama's job. My mama taught me about
- 6:47Speaker 1: being saved, about loving the Lord, about giving your life,
- 6:51Speaker 1: about the teachings of Jesus Christ. My mama was a
- 6:54Speaker 1: Sunday school teacher, so I got all of that from her.
- 6:57Speaker 1: My own man ain't had none of that for me.
- 6:59Speaker 1: My old man talked to me about one thing all
- 7:01Speaker 1: day long, hard working manhood. And when you're gonna get
- 7:04Speaker 1: that if you don't get a nothing else from me,
- 7:07Speaker 1: he gave that to me, so I got it. See,
- 7:09Speaker 1: So who my father? You say, excuse my language, but
- 7:12Speaker 1: you ain't gonna sit there like a little punk up
- 7:14Speaker 1: in here. You ain't dyn what you're fit to do.
- 7:16Speaker 1: You fit to get up and go do what you're
- 7:18Speaker 1: posted to do. Now, stop all that wine and like
- 7:20Speaker 1: some little punk and gonna get to moving. That's how
- 7:22Speaker 1: my father talked to me. Now, I'm just telling you real.
- 7:24Speaker 1: It worked for me, though, And before you start emailing me,
- 7:28Speaker 1: they had nothing to do with homosexuality at all. It's
- 7:31Speaker 1: just that was his turn for a man not acting
- 7:34Speaker 1: like a man. That's all it was. It had It
- 7:37Speaker 1: was not a gay reference at all. I want you
- 7:39Speaker 1: to understand that before you start emailing me. So my
- 7:41Speaker 1: daddy wasn't calling. That wasn't not a sexual reference for him.
- 7:45Speaker 1: My father talked to us. That's what he meant. I
- 7:47Speaker 1: knew exactly what it meant. He couldn't admit that he
- 7:49Speaker 1: didn't even know nothing about that. My man clueless when
- 7:51Speaker 1: it comes to that, right there. So when I was
- 7:55Speaker 1: getting down and feeling bad about myself, my old man,
- 7:58Speaker 1: he taught me this tough man. He gave me this grit,
- 8:02Speaker 1: this doggedness, this go to work and work hard. That's
- 8:05Speaker 1: why today when God does bless me with something, he
- 8:08Speaker 1: ain't got to wear about me not working hard because
- 8:12Speaker 1: that's in me. And when I get tired, I asked
- 8:16Speaker 1: that same God for strength to keep on doing so
- 8:19Speaker 1: I can do the blessings he got for me. So
- 8:22Speaker 1: when you ask me how you gonna do all this,
- 8:24Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, I don't know. I ain't got to figure
- 8:28Speaker 1: that out. All I got to do is show up
- 8:30Speaker 1: with the same amount of faith for being showing up
- 8:32Speaker 1: with God handle the rest of it. See y'all, hey man,
- 8:36Speaker 1: let me tell you so, I don't see how you
- 8:38Speaker 1: do it. I don't either, can I can? I get?
- 8:41Speaker 1: Hey man, news flash, let me hear. I don't see
- 8:44Speaker 1: how you doing all that, Steve, you're doing this? You
- 8:46Speaker 1: doing that? You can I tell you something? I don't either.
- 8:49Speaker 1: I just wake up with the faith man and trusting
- 8:52Speaker 1: that if He gonna bless me with it, he must
- 8:54Speaker 1: be gonna show me a way how to get it done. See,
- 8:56Speaker 1: I ain't tripping on that part. See I. Once you
- 8:59Speaker 1: take yourself out the how to business, you can go
- 9:02Speaker 1: on and get with it. But see if you're gonna
- 9:05Speaker 1: trip yourself out with the how to, you can't think
- 9:07Speaker 1: like God can think. You can't figure like God can figure.
- 9:10Speaker 1: So now you're sitting up in here gonna Lord, I
- 9:12Speaker 1: want this to have him for me? Then I don't
- 9:15Speaker 1: know how I'm will do all that? Well, guess what
- 9:18Speaker 1: you in the way? Now? See you? Now you in
- 9:20Speaker 1: the way, because see, God ain't ask you to figure
- 9:23Speaker 1: out how to. He said, ask and believe. Then he
- 9:28Speaker 1: said faith without works is dead. That's my solution. That's
- 9:32Speaker 1: the concoction that I'm functioning on. See I ask, then
- 9:37Speaker 1: I just believe that he gonna give it to me.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Then I know once I believe that faith without works
- 9:45Speaker 1: is dead. That's the concoction. Naw. I put all that
- 9:50Speaker 1: into play. So when God starts dumping these blessings on me,
- 9:53Speaker 1: and I don't see how I got him, and you
- 9:55Speaker 1: don't see how you got him, and you you write
- 9:57Speaker 1: about me, you don't know how I'm gonna do all this.
- 9:59Speaker 1: I don't jake something I don't know either. I ain't
- 10:01Speaker 1: got too though. All I got to do is accept
- 10:05Speaker 1: the blessing, keep the faith, be willing to work, and
- 10:08Speaker 1: believe God can do anything but fail. Why would God
- 10:13Speaker 1: bring me this far to leave me? Why would he
- 10:17Speaker 1: bring you this far to leave you? Quit tripping yourself
- 10:24Speaker 1: out trying to think of the way you can make
- 10:27Speaker 1: it happen. Get out the way and let God show
- 10:30Speaker 1: you high can happen, and you can have something. So
- 10:34Speaker 1: why I get up every morning? I have no choice.
- 10:38Speaker 1: I gotta get up in here the rap when I'm
- 10:40Speaker 1: running late, man, I try to ply through here. Sometimes
- 10:43Speaker 1: I don't make it, Man, I gotta do a rerun.
- 10:45Speaker 1: But I apply through here, because man, Steve, you're gonna
- 10:47Speaker 1: run out of something to say. No, I'm gonna just
- 10:49Speaker 1: keep thanking him. Now. You can't run out of that
- 10:51Speaker 1: canyon because you owe him that. Matter of fact, when
- 10:53Speaker 1: I get through talking, I really ain't thanked him enough.
- 10:57Speaker 1: You're show all right, everybody? It is Monday, Monday, Monday
- 11:05Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey, Morning Show is about a blast doll. Baby,
- 11:11Speaker 1: this your boy, James and Ron, we ain't blasting off alone, Shelley,
- 11:15Speaker 1: are you blasting off? I got my moon suit right here, Jake,
- 11:19Speaker 1: what's happening? And matching heels? Thank you very much? How
- 11:23Speaker 1: about you calor for what's up? What was happening? Jay?
- 11:26Speaker 1: Let's go take off fun boy the King of all Franks.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Of course he's blasting off money all up in the building.
- 11:36Speaker 1: But I'm that dad devil. What's that man back in
- 11:38Speaker 1: the day up? But the other one that wasn't good?
- 11:42Speaker 1: It was funny to Dave something super Dan Spera, Yeah,
- 11:48Speaker 1: super Dan from Letterman, Right, yeah, I'm in the cannon.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Just shoot me straight out. What's happening everybody? It's Monday, baby, man?
- 11:59Speaker 1: Monty okay something? You got him so sick? Of these
- 12:02Speaker 1: twenty minute weekends. You know what I'm talking twenty minutes.
- 12:07Speaker 1: We were just right here, right, just right day. Yeah,
- 12:11Speaker 1: all right, let me tell you what today is, guys.
- 12:13Speaker 1: You guys can have some fun with this or maybe not. Uh.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Today is National Funeral Funeral Director Day, and today is
- 12:21Speaker 1: National Mortician Recognition Day. They have a big do they
- 12:30Speaker 1: have a huge convention and all like in different places.
- 12:34Speaker 1: And I was asking that I'm in performing. I'm like, nah,
- 12:36Speaker 1: I'm I'm gonna skip that one. Now what this is?
- 12:40Speaker 1: They don't have a sense of humor like the but
- 12:43Speaker 1: it's but it's dead something. I don't know what we
- 12:48Speaker 1: talk about this. And I went to school with the
- 12:52Speaker 1: girl who her family long tradition they were morticians. I
- 12:56Speaker 1: have a friend of mine, but she owns like two
- 12:58Speaker 1: of them in Florida, like and you know, and but
- 13:02Speaker 1: just I can't. I just always wrong, you don't always
- 13:06Speaker 1: look yet she has two funeral homes. Many the whole family. Well,
- 13:10Speaker 1: I live down the street from I grew up down
- 13:12Speaker 1: the street from a whole family. That's what they did.
- 13:14Speaker 1: They were, so I know the whole thing. Yeah, because
- 13:18Speaker 1: I mean it was the Leadies. Leadies had all the
- 13:19Speaker 1: funeral homes and then they have a sense of human
- 13:22Speaker 1: because they send you a birthday cards. I'm not man,
- 13:24Speaker 1: stop sending me birthday cards. Okay, just stop it. What
- 13:28Speaker 1: do you mean? We could be having we could be
- 13:30Speaker 1: having a cook out, everybody having a good time, and
- 13:33Speaker 1: then you know, this guy's page will go off and
- 13:37Speaker 1: he got to go pick up a body. I was like, wow,
- 13:39Speaker 1: you're gonna get a body right now. Yeah, they gotta
- 13:42Speaker 1: go get it. I mean when they I mean they
- 13:43Speaker 1: gotta go, they gotta go immediately. Wow. But they got
- 13:46Speaker 1: the best rule little time, and the rule is whoever
- 13:49Speaker 1: give us the money? That's who he listened to. What
- 13:55Speaker 1: is it about older people who like who loved looking
- 13:58Speaker 1: at the going to wakes and you get that stuff
- 14:01Speaker 1: like my aunt. My aunt, she she didn't even have
- 14:04Speaker 1: to know the person, but she was going to the
- 14:07Speaker 1: funeral and she had to see the body. And they
- 14:10Speaker 1: all say the same thing. They have a closed casket.
- 14:12Speaker 1: She was not interested. They all get there, staying right
- 14:15Speaker 1: there and look look just like he looks so rested
- 14:24Speaker 1: because he oh god, Danny looking good. I don't know
- 14:32Speaker 1: what that is, but we want to stay happy. Funeral
- 14:34Speaker 1: director and Mortician Recognition day today. All right, we'll be
- 14:38Speaker 1: back right after. Ye you're listening, all right, Happy Monday. Uh,
- 14:49Speaker 1: we gotta find out from the crew. How was everybody's weekend? Uh? Here, well,
- 14:54Speaker 1: here in La. It was a little cool this weekend.
- 14:56Speaker 1: It's period. Yeah, it's for La. Yeah, you don't think
- 15:00Speaker 1: living in La, you don't. I love this weather though,
- 15:03Speaker 1: I gotta tell you, because it's not like cold, like
- 15:05Speaker 1: say a Chicago or something like that. No, it's not
- 15:09Speaker 1: like that. It's like take your buck back in the
- 15:11Speaker 1: house and get a jacket exactly. Yeah. Sweater weather. Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
- 15:20Speaker 1: I stayed at the house. I stayed at my apartment
- 15:21Speaker 1: all weekend. You stayed inside. Yeah, because I'm Derby, I'm
- 15:29Speaker 1: on the clean so we're cleansing, you know, so ad Dolphin,
- 15:34Speaker 1: if you're listening, I'm getting clean, baby, I'm getting clear.
- 15:38Speaker 1: How you feel? Well? You know, my uh my girlfriend Tracy,
- 15:43Speaker 1: her mom, we honored her. Was her seventy fifth birthday,
- 15:47Speaker 1: And I told you. The theme was pretty as a Peacock.
- 15:50Speaker 1: So everybody had these beautiful blue colors and turquoises, and yeah,
- 15:54Speaker 1: it was really pretty. It was really a nice affair
- 15:56Speaker 1: and everybody just said such glowing things about her. I mean,
- 15:59Speaker 1: seventy five, that's a milestone. She's like everybody's mom. Everybody
- 16:04Speaker 1: loves miss Brenda. All right, I went to see the
- 16:09Speaker 1: number one white woman in America, Captain Marvel? What What's that?
- 16:17Speaker 1: Was it? It was great? I have one complaint I do,
- 16:21Speaker 1: and don't take it the wrong way, Captain Marlin. Ain't
- 16:24Speaker 1: got no but I just I don't know, well what
- 16:28Speaker 1: you want? I won't. I want but when when? When?
- 16:32Speaker 1: When iron Man has more butts? There's a problem, you
- 16:35Speaker 1: know what I mean? Carlin? What what did you do?
- 16:39Speaker 1: I know you did something because that's what It was
- 16:45Speaker 1: a good movie. I oh, good, Okay, that means I
- 16:48Speaker 1: won't be going to see it. Whatever I said, I
- 16:51Speaker 1: like it. You don't go. What did you do? Carla?
- 16:55Speaker 1: All right? Girls? Saturday, Well, my daughter's on spring break.
- 16:58Speaker 1: But over the weekend my best friend her granddaughter's birthday
- 17:02Speaker 1: party four years old. We all played spades, barbecue. We
- 17:05Speaker 1: had a good time and it was some trash talking
- 17:08Speaker 1: going on Tommy with us playing spades. Yeah, I don't
- 17:13Speaker 1: know how to play that again, you don't know how
- 17:15Speaker 1: to play no black hard, But I'm the same way, Jay.
- 17:20Speaker 1: I know how to play, but I have such a
- 17:23Speaker 1: short attention span, and my partner would be mad at me.
- 17:31Speaker 1: I love it. I just like to sit near someone
- 17:33Speaker 1: who's going to be doing the trash talking yea, and
- 17:37Speaker 1: I love it. I love that. But yeah, I have
- 17:39Speaker 1: a short attention span. I'll forget what I put down
- 17:41Speaker 1: and forget what's it like. I don't care that much.
- 17:44Speaker 1: I'm not not at all. My attention span is short. Like, yeah,
- 17:50Speaker 1: we had a good time. I love spades and been
- 17:54Speaker 1: whist and then we went to the carnival. Hung out.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Let's see Houston livestock showing, rodeo, big, big carnival. I'm exhausted.
- 18:03Speaker 1: This is just day two spring break. Yeah, smoke, turkey
- 18:08Speaker 1: leg and a funnel cake. Let me say this, I
- 18:12Speaker 1: would naked out of my weekend. Back up, I'm just
- 18:18Speaker 1: saying I would naked, you know, by myself. You know,
- 18:21Speaker 1: I just want to throw that out there. I would Nike.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Why does everything that comes out of his mouth have
- 18:27Speaker 1: to do with being naked? Why is that it's it's
- 18:31Speaker 1: called freedom, Tommy. I mean, I really, I really would.
- 18:36Speaker 1: I think we should have like a naked holiday where everybody. Now, Tommy,
- 18:39Speaker 1: are you naked with all your windows open and blinds open?
- 18:42Speaker 1: So I'm with you? Yes, excuse me, I'm not hiding me. No,
- 18:48Speaker 1: if you walk by my house, you see a large
- 18:51Speaker 1: naked black man, so don't look this way. Just don't.
- 18:55Speaker 1: And it's okay with you, because it's your house, in
- 18:58Speaker 1: my house, and it's not against long. If you don't
- 19:01Speaker 1: want to see it, just don't look looking at my windows.
- 19:05Speaker 1: If you you hug by my house, just don't look
- 19:08Speaker 1: that way. He says, I'm gonna be naked. Okay, I
- 19:12Speaker 1: don't know what to say after that? Fast? How about that?
- 19:18Speaker 1: They fast? Ya have y'all windows? No, no, I do
- 19:27Speaker 1: y'all leave? I mean my windows ropen, but I'm fully closed,
- 19:31Speaker 1: Thank you very much, thank you. Okay, I'll tell you
- 19:34Speaker 1: this story. Thought checked U out. So the yard man
- 19:38Speaker 1: was in the backyard, okay, mowing the grass or whatever,
- 19:45Speaker 1: and so you know how you take a shower or whatever,
- 19:49Speaker 1: and I forgot my undergarments, was naked, so wait, I
- 19:54Speaker 1: grabbed the tip and then I ran and the man
- 19:56Speaker 1: it was just the man just stopped mowing the cross.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Oh that's crazy, right, I was like, oh, my goodness,
- 20:07Speaker 1: the yarn, missy, miss it. You don't have to pay
- 20:12Speaker 1: me today. That reminds me Carla of the time. This
- 20:19Speaker 1: is crazy. My mom was still alive during this time,

- 24:34Speaker 1: are saying they won't revers clean it last one in
- 24:40Speaker 1: that it needs bleached. Now it's bad that out. So
- 24:48Speaker 1: we were we were, would uh start this in April.
- 24:51Speaker 1: I'm getting people back Baptist, so if you on the list,

- 25:38Speaker 1: the front door doing their routine they are wanting to
- 25:42Speaker 1: put speed bumps in the middle. Slow your rule, go
- 25:52Speaker 1: right ahead, that now right. The people who think all

- 26:35Speaker 1: an issue here at now they are really really holding strong.
- 26:38Speaker 1: I'm trying to get some challenges here that hemrod members
- 26:41Speaker 1: are asking that they have their own cue with thicker

- 27:30Speaker 1: hit on six this south, so we're gonna have to
- 27:32Speaker 1: decide how we're gonna do this. But the older people
- 27:35Speaker 1: romon it on eight eight. Yeah, so you don't have
- 27:38Speaker 1: to make a decision. That's that's great. I like that

- 30:26Speaker 1: of a rod holding her hand while showing off I

- 30:41Speaker 1: excuse me, excuse me, yeah somebody. But yeah, happy for
- 30:51Speaker 1: them though. They seem so equally matched and they I
- 30:55Speaker 1: love them. Uh, Jennifer captioned hers with heart emojus. Wow,
- 31:02Speaker 1: I'm looking at this. Yeah, it's beautiful. Yeah it doesn't

- 31:32Speaker 1: and they look so happy. They look genuinely happy. And
- 31:38Speaker 1: you know, hey, they say you have to kiss a
- 31:40Speaker 1: lot of frogs to find your prints. So there you go.
- 31:42Speaker 1: There you yeah, okay, all right, moving on if you're
- 31:47Speaker 1: happy for that? Yeah, before bitter man, I can't do it.
- 31:52Speaker 1: I'm trying to. Hey day do you know do you
- 31:55Speaker 1: know if this happened to you? To you, do you
- 31:57Speaker 1: know how happy we would be for you? Did you
- 31:59Speaker 1: make out? No? It's you heard what I said? Hello, Shirley.
- 32:06Speaker 1: All right. In other entertainment news, whatever, jay Uh, Jesse
- 32:10Speaker 1: Smallett has been indicted. He was indicted this past Friday
- 32:14Speaker 1: by a grand jury sixteen felony counts of filing a
- 32:19Speaker 1: false police report after reportedly faking a hate crime in January.
- 32:24Speaker 1: This is crazy right here. The indictment means that the
- 32:27Speaker 1: Chicago Police presented enough evidence to the grand jury to
- 32:31Speaker 1: send Jesse Smallett to trial for the sixteen charges. Jusse
- 32:35Speaker 1: will be arraigned this Friday, March fourteen, to formally hear
- 32:39Speaker 1: his charges and to enter his plea of guilty or
- 32:42Speaker 1: not guilty. Wow, the ochargege for those sixteen counts. You think, yeah,
- 32:48Speaker 1: that way he'll he'll plead out and then it's yeah, yeah,
- 32:54Speaker 1: probably that's what I'm saying. Yeah, that's overcharged. He wrote
- 32:57Speaker 1: the laws. Yeah, I'm not against allegedly yeah, allegedly. Yeah,
- 33:02Speaker 1: So that's what the whole trial is for. Well, I
- 33:06Speaker 1: don't think they formally fired him. Yeah, and I think
- 33:10Speaker 1: they wrote his character out for the last remaining up
- 33:13Speaker 1: the season. That's all the show. Yeah, well he's still
- 33:16Speaker 1: on the show. Yeah, but for the season he's still on.
- 33:19Speaker 1: It's such a dumb thing to do. I mean, for
- 33:22Speaker 1: this season. I don't think he's on. I think he's
- 33:24Speaker 1: still on the show. I think they off for the
- 33:26Speaker 1: remaining for the remaining two episodes. Yeah, but yeah, we
- 33:30Speaker 1: haven't heard anything about him being fired officially off of
- 33:34Speaker 1: Empire show. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, he's still Jamal Lyons right now.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Well he's lying, all right. Yeah, And this is really
- 33:44Speaker 1: sad news, guys, This is really really sad news. George Foreman,
- 33:48Speaker 1: his daughter Frieda, who followed in her dad's footsteps, if
- 33:52Speaker 1: you recall, and became a professional boxer in her own right.
- 33:56Speaker 1: She passed away. Her body was found in her home
- 33:58Speaker 1: near Houston by a family member. Cops are awaiting a
- 34:01Speaker 1: report from a corner's office on the cause of death. Yeah,
- 34:04Speaker 1: she was forty two. And our thoughts and prayers are
- 34:07Speaker 1: worth George Foreman and his family. Yeah, and coming up now,
- 34:11Speaker 1: miss Anne, all right, everybody in his time and is antrip.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Thank you very much everybody, and good morning. This is
- 34:19Speaker 1: a trip with the news on this Monday morning. The
- 34:21Speaker 1: US State Departments working with the Ethiopian government to identify
- 34:24Speaker 1: the eight Americans killed in a plane crash yesterday morning,
- 34:27Speaker 1: only moments after taking off from Addis Ottaba. All one
- 34:30Speaker 1: hundred and fifty seven people aboard were killed and the
- 34:33Speaker 1: Boeing seven thirty seven Max eight aircraft was brand new
- 34:37Speaker 1: and it was the same model of the jet that
- 34:39Speaker 1: crashed off the coast of Indonesia back in October. So
- 34:42Speaker 1: now Ethiopia and Indonesia have grounded all of their seven
- 34:46Speaker 1: thirty seven Max eights. Senate Minority Leader Charles Schuma says
- 34:49Speaker 1: somebody here needs to look into something. I think there
- 34:51Speaker 1: has to be a thorough investigation by the FAA and
- 34:55Speaker 1: the NTSB as to whether these planes are safe because
- 34:58Speaker 1: there are just too many incis. The passengers aboard the
- 35:01Speaker 1: doomed Nairobi Brown flight included people from thirty five different nations.
- 35:06Speaker 1: A woman was injured at Arizona's World Worldwidlife Zoo over
- 35:10Speaker 1: the weekend when she stepped over a barrier to take
- 35:13Speaker 1: a selfie with a jaguar. The woman suffered lacerations when
- 35:16Speaker 1: the big cat reached through a fence. To grab her.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Zoo says the jaguar was never outside its pen, and
- 35:20Speaker 1: the woman is now apologizing for what she did. She
- 35:23Speaker 1: says she knows that what she did was kind of
- 35:25Speaker 1: stupid and dumb. R Kelly is free again. The scandalized
- 35:28Speaker 1: singer and composer was sprung on Saturday by a mystery donor.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Cook County Sheriffs were keeping R. Kelly locked up until
- 35:35Speaker 1: he came up with over one hundred and sixty thousand
- 35:38Speaker 1: dollars in back child support. This was the second time
- 35:41Speaker 1: that Kelly was jailed. He didn't have the cash. The
- 35:44Speaker 1: first time he was bailed up by somebody else, and
- 35:46Speaker 1: then of course this time, yes, he is bailed out
- 35:49Speaker 1: by a mystery donor. This time, this second bailed donor
- 35:51Speaker 1: wishes to remain anonymous, as I said. Meanwhile, the a
- 35:54Speaker 1: Pennsylvania man Get This, says he found a tape showing R.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Kelly sexually abusing some girls. Gary Dennis claims he was
- 36:02Speaker 1: going through a box of his VHS sports tapes when
- 36:04Speaker 1: he saw one marked R. Kelly and looked at it.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Dennis says he believes it shows the singer abusing two
- 36:10Speaker 1: young African American girls. Says he has no idea how
- 36:13Speaker 1: he got the tape. The taps been turned over to
- 36:15Speaker 1: federal prosecutors in Brooklyn. R Kelly's attorney says Kelly denies
- 36:20Speaker 1: it as him, but that the larger question is what
- 36:22Speaker 1: are these people doing with the possession of what they
- 36:25Speaker 1: obviously believe is child porn? And what a thought he's
- 36:28Speaker 1: gonna do about that? Empire star Jesse Smallett Yes, has
- 36:32Speaker 1: been indicted on sixteen fellon accounts by a grand jury
- 36:35Speaker 1: in Chicago for allegedly staging a phony, racist and homophobic
- 36:38Speaker 1: attack against himself. According to Cook County State Attorney General's Office,
- 36:42Speaker 1: the thirty six year old Act to charge with a
- 36:44Speaker 1: legly filing false police reports and lying to the cops
- 36:47Speaker 1: at the box office this weekend. It was Captain Marble.
- 36:49Speaker 1: So you're not from around here. It's hard to explain
- 36:55Speaker 1: Captain Marble did one hundred and fifty three million dollars.
- 36:58Speaker 1: Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 37:00Speaker 1: to show. Okay, So, three days after he was jailed
- 37:05Speaker 1: for failing to pay child support, r kelly has been
- 37:09Speaker 1: released from a Chicago jail that happened on Saturday, Cook
- 37:12Speaker 1: County Sheriff's official set of person who has asked to
- 37:16Speaker 1: remain anonymous pay the one hundred and sixty one thousand
- 37:20Speaker 1: dollars to secure Kelly's release. So he may not have
- 37:25Speaker 1: the money, but he has friends. Nice friend, Yeah, yes
- 37:29Speaker 1: he does. Still been sitting. I couldn't call up friend,
- 37:34Speaker 1: and you couldn't. You had to pay the entire amount, right,
- 37:37Speaker 1: ten percent, like if it was you know, on bail
- 37:40Speaker 1: or something upon. Yeah, this, they had to pay the
- 37:43Speaker 1: entire one hundred and sixty one thousand dollars. Yeah, back
- 37:47Speaker 1: child sup unback child support. Yeah, this is really something. Yeah.
- 37:52Speaker 1: And R Kelly's explosive interview with uh Gail King of
- 37:57Speaker 1: CBS this morning, he said he only had three hundred
- 38:00Speaker 1: fifty thousand dollars left in his bank account and people
- 38:02Speaker 1: had been stealing his money. If you recall, there's more
- 38:05Speaker 1: trouble for R. Kelly and yesterday, a high profile attorney
- 38:10Speaker 1: you know her, She she stands up for women everywhere.
- 38:12Speaker 1: Gloria Allread has given authorities a video that allegedly shows R.
- 38:17Speaker 1: Kelly quote sexually abusing children. Really yeah, already it's not
- 38:24Speaker 1: the same video that led to the indictment of Kelly
- 38:28Speaker 1: for allegedly abusing four miners between nineteen ninety eight and
- 38:31Speaker 1: twenty and ten. According to attorney all Read, her client
- 38:35Speaker 1: Gary Dennis, discovered the video in a box of old
- 38:39Speaker 1: VHS tape and was horrified by what was on the tape.
- 38:45Speaker 1: Kelly's attorney, Steve Greenberg quote denies that he is on
- 38:49Speaker 1: any tape with underage girls. We're going to see another tape. Yeah,
- 38:58Speaker 1: but how about Gail. How cool she was doing the
- 39:00Speaker 1: whole thing. Yeah, I mean she really was, man, Yeah
- 39:03Speaker 1: it was yeah, yeah, yeah, she was a professor, she
- 39:07Speaker 1: was I mean, yeah, she was my shiro during this,
- 39:10Speaker 1: even when he popped up and aggressive. But she she
- 39:16Speaker 1: said that after the fact, she said that she never
- 39:18Speaker 1: felt fear, she was never afraid, and she just wanted
- 39:21Speaker 1: him to com back down. And but in her mind,
- 39:24Speaker 1: she's gonna if you don't shit you yeah. Yeah. Robert,
- 39:29Speaker 1: Robert Yeah. And Michael Avanati Avanati, he's just saying there's more,
- 39:35Speaker 1: there's more, and you're right. I think the response was
- 39:40Speaker 1: that he liked to watch them after the fact, that
- 39:43Speaker 1: was like porn for him. Yeah, it really really is,
- 39:47Speaker 1: it really really is. So he not owning up to
- 39:49Speaker 1: any of this stuff. Oh he's everybody's lying on him.
- 39:53Speaker 1: That's what he said. Everyone is lying up. You're killing me.
- 39:57Speaker 1: You're trying to kill me. Yeah he said that. Uh yeah,
- 40:02Speaker 1: oh boy. Hopefully this is the end of the tapes. Anyway,
- 40:06Speaker 1: coming up at thirty four after the hour, Jay is here.
- 40:10Speaker 1: He's gonna murder another hit. I've got a fresh one
- 40:15Speaker 1: here you Jay, These are always well worth waiting for.

- 40:24Speaker 1: to the Steve Morning Show. All right, Jay is here

- 41:45Speaker 1: you don't give it no no not truth. Lie. Yes,
- 41:54Speaker 1: I can do this stuff, never learning, never learning. I'm
- 42:00Speaker 1: gonna be shining a national times before it's been shined. Yes,
- 42:28Speaker 1: I love that was good. You do it might hit
- 42:41Speaker 1: the way home. Just watch television. But you know the
- 42:48Speaker 1: President doesn't even care. He just bits him out there. Man,
- 42:52Speaker 1: he could care less. He just do it. Yeah, yeah,
- 42:55Speaker 1: he do it. He just wants to win, that's all
- 42:58Speaker 1: he cares. Yeah. Yeah, he's inspiration to all liars. Man.
- 43:01Speaker 1: That's how you do it. Just lie. Just don't even
- 43:04Speaker 1: worry about it. And if you get caught, if somebody questions,
- 43:06Speaker 1: just lie, double down. They call it doubling down on
- 43:10Speaker 1: that lie. Yeah, make your small. Sometimes I feel funny when,
- 43:15Speaker 1: even as an adult, when I say the word lie,
- 43:17Speaker 1: but go ahead, that's you don't like to say. That's
- 43:19Speaker 1: the way? Was rain issue? Yeah, that's my issue because
- 43:22Speaker 1: we have a story. Well, when I was a kid. Yeah,
- 43:25Speaker 1: now we can say lie, but it's still Yeah, when
- 43:27Speaker 1: you were small, you couldn't say lying up. You couldn't
- 43:30Speaker 1: call nobody a lie. No, no, you couldn't you couldn't
- 43:32Speaker 1: say stupid. You couldn't say no, you could not. I
- 43:36Speaker 1: don't know why. The word monk was upset my mom.
- 43:39Speaker 1: But we couldn't say like monking with I don't know
- 43:41Speaker 1: what that meant to her. But oh if we said
- 43:43Speaker 1: all shoot, yeah, if you say if you say shoot
- 43:47Speaker 1: too hard? What that was too close? You almost cast
- 43:50Speaker 1: to watch yourself. Then you watch how you let the
- 43:54Speaker 1: word what come out your mouth. You're gonna wire yourself
- 43:58Speaker 1: getting up off the ground. That's what. Yeah. So to
- 44:01Speaker 1: my night JA Comedy Club Taco Tuesday. My guest this
- 44:05Speaker 1: week will be Michael Kay and next week pe all right.

- 44:22Speaker 1: all right? Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 44:24Speaker 1: right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today.

- 44:33Speaker 1: Right now, it is a nephew here with today's prank
- 44:35Speaker 1: phone call. What you got next? But cheeks? What crazy?
- 44:41Speaker 1: That's the name of the prank butt Cheeks. Hey, let's
- 44:44Speaker 1: do it. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach Carmen miss
- 44:48Speaker 1: miss Carmen. Uh, this is a made uh my ass's call.
- 44:53Speaker 1: I'm the principal at the high school where your daughter goes.
- 44:56Speaker 1: This is mister Porter. Porter. How are you doing today?
- 44:59Speaker 1: I'm final? Is everything good? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah, every
- 45:02Speaker 1: every everything is everything is fine? Now your daughter is
- 45:05Speaker 1: tenth grade? Crystal? Right? Correct? Okay, okay. I want to
- 45:10Speaker 1: make sure i'm you know, we got so many kids
- 45:12Speaker 1: with the same names. I wanted to make sure I
- 45:13Speaker 1: had the right person. Um, So here's the issue. You
- 45:16Speaker 1: say your name was Nate, Yeah, okay, Nate. What were
- 45:20Speaker 1: the problem we're having here at the school is. I
- 45:22Speaker 1: don't know if you are aware of it, but when
- 45:24Speaker 1: your your wife drops Crystal off at school, we've got
- 45:28Speaker 1: the parents as well as some of the teachers. They're
- 45:32Speaker 1: they're complaining about what she's uh, what she's wearing. What
- 45:36Speaker 1: your wife is wearing, Yeah, what she's wearing when she
- 45:39Speaker 1: drops the kids off. Evidently her clothes are very skimpy
- 45:43Speaker 1: and her butt cheeks, her butt cheeks are out. You know,
- 45:46Speaker 1: I don't know if she's I haven't actually seen her,
- 45:50Speaker 1: but I've been getting these reports from We've been getting
- 45:53Speaker 1: that's a little strange to me, I'm typically at work. Uh,
- 45:57Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know what she's wearing. I'm I'm
- 46:00Speaker 1: to talk to her later on today. Okay, Well, what
- 46:03Speaker 1: I was gonna suggest is uh, you know, I actually
- 46:07Speaker 1: I thought I was calling her phone. I didn't know
- 46:10Speaker 1: I was. I was gonna get you. But what I
- 46:12Speaker 1: wanted to do is get her to come up here
- 46:15Speaker 1: so I can see what she wearing, you know. But no, no, no,
- 46:19Speaker 1: I think I got this handle due I can take
- 46:21Speaker 1: care of it. Well, well, well, I think it's gonna
- 46:24Speaker 1: be better for both of us, Like if I was
- 46:25Speaker 1: able to see her uh in the and let her
- 46:29Speaker 1: look look playing, look, look I got it. My daughter
- 46:33Speaker 1: is this is not even really concerning my daughter. This
- 46:36Speaker 1: is uh you know, this is this is above that
- 46:38Speaker 1: pag grade. Let let me handling. So um you know,
- 46:42Speaker 1: you know my daughter going to principal's office is one thing.
- 46:44Speaker 1: I'll be on top of that, but I'm definitely gonna
- 46:46Speaker 1: be on top of this. So so, like I said,
- 46:48Speaker 1: I think I got this handle right now. What now,
- 46:50Speaker 1: your wife, Carmen, is she there? Uh? Yeah, okay, I mean,
- 46:56Speaker 1: is there anyway I can talk to her? No? Like
- 46:58Speaker 1: I told you, I think I think I got this one.
- 47:01Speaker 1: I can take care of this. Um. And you know
- 47:05Speaker 1: my thing is, I've already told you that three times.
- 47:08Speaker 1: I don't know where you're really going with this. You
- 47:10Speaker 1: know I'm gonna I'm gonna talk to her and get
- 47:12Speaker 1: the situation situation rectified soon as I can. Okay, but
- 47:16Speaker 1: we don't. You know, you don't need to you don't
- 47:17Speaker 1: need to see her, you know, talk to her or not.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Like being the principle here at the school, sir. Uh
- 47:24Speaker 1: Like I said, UM, you know, I'm just trying to
- 47:27Speaker 1: you know, handle the school and orderly fashion and make
- 47:29Speaker 1: sure that all things are taking care of around here
- 47:31Speaker 1: and we have no issues and no problems. So what
- 47:34Speaker 1: I play. You're not talking to my daughter, You're talking
- 47:36Speaker 1: to me. I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm a husband, I'm
- 47:39Speaker 1: a father. I'm telling me when I tell you I
- 47:40Speaker 1: gotta handle, I got a handle. I understand it. When
- 47:44Speaker 1: I have to handle my school. Though, you understand that
- 47:47Speaker 1: I have to hand my school, I would drop my
- 47:49Speaker 1: door off myself. Okay, I understand that. What No, I mean,
- 47:52Speaker 1: do I need to come up there and talk to you? No?
- 47:54Speaker 1: I need your wife to come talk to me. I
- 47:55Speaker 1: need to see what she'd be wearing. You don't need
- 47:57Speaker 1: to talk to my wife. Player, Do you have a wife? Yeah,
- 48:01Speaker 1: I have a wife. Became of my office. But what
- 48:03Speaker 1: what what what do you? What are you? What are you?
- 48:04Speaker 1: What are you talking about? No? What are you talking
- 48:06Speaker 1: about that? My wife needs to come and and and
- 48:08Speaker 1: so you can inspect her outfit. I'm not playing that game, player,
- 48:11Speaker 1: I'm not We're not doing that. Okay. I need to
- 48:14Speaker 1: see what your wife be wearing when she's dropping these kids.
- 48:17Speaker 1: I send your pictures. Hey, man, I mean I think
- 48:20Speaker 1: we must have gone down the wrong street. Yeah, no,
- 48:23Speaker 1: we doubt definitely down the wrong boulevard on this one. Player. Okay,
- 48:25Speaker 1: let me let me just make it very clear to you.
- 48:28Speaker 1: My wife you're seeing in the office and all that.
- 48:31Speaker 1: Maybe we can come up to you to morrow. Is
- 48:32Speaker 1: gonna be me and her. No, he's not coming up
- 48:34Speaker 1: to the principal's office. We don't need to do it.
- 48:36Speaker 1: But we don't have a problem with you. We just
- 48:38Speaker 1: need her. I just need to see you. You're gonna
- 48:41Speaker 1: have a problem with me if we keep going down
- 48:43Speaker 1: this role right now? Okay, so so bro so, it's
- 48:46Speaker 1: okay for her to have her butt cheeks out when
- 48:48Speaker 1: she dropped the kids off. But as soon as I
- 48:50Speaker 1: want to have her come out of office for a
- 48:52Speaker 1: meeting about this situation right now, right now, you her,
- 48:56Speaker 1: you claiming her b cheasons out like seas out right
- 48:59Speaker 1: now you out? Okay, No, it was out of pocket
- 49:02Speaker 1: when she pulled up and got out the car and
- 49:04Speaker 1: her butt was out of pocket. That's when it was
- 49:06Speaker 1: out of pocket. So so what you can't do, Nate's
- 49:08Speaker 1: be mad at me by what your wife then put
- 49:10Speaker 1: on and wall up into the school. Look, man, like
- 49:13Speaker 1: I said, I'm I'm gonna do what I gotta do
- 49:15Speaker 1: on this on this end, your end is to handle
- 49:18Speaker 1: what's going on in your school. Wellever Denny, you're not
- 49:20Speaker 1: handling that end over there. So that's why I'm stepping
- 49:23Speaker 1: up as the principal of the school saying I need
- 49:25Speaker 1: to have a meeting, a private meeting with your wife
- 49:28Speaker 1: so when her and I can talk about what she's wearing. Look, man,
- 49:31Speaker 1: I don't told you several times her coming up there
- 49:35Speaker 1: on her own, it's not gonna happen. So this is
- 49:37Speaker 1: where we at right now. You know what you're not
- 49:40Speaker 1: gonna happen. Say what say what you're saying? You what's
- 49:44Speaker 1: gonna happen tomorrow? I'm gonna come up there and drop
- 49:46Speaker 1: my daughter off and come see you. So you're coming
- 49:48Speaker 1: here tomorrow? Absolutely? Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. So are
- 49:53Speaker 1: you bringing miss Carmen, Which, don't worry about who's writ me.
- 49:57Speaker 1: I'm not a telephone touchcot money. I'm coming up. They
- 50:00Speaker 1: to handle this right now because you out of But
- 50:03Speaker 1: this is how it's going down. There will be no
- 50:04Speaker 1: butt cheeks coming out out tomorrow. It's just gonna be
- 50:08Speaker 1: coming out the car or some real You gotta stand
- 50:10Speaker 1: what's your name again? My name? I'm ported the principal here.
- 50:15Speaker 1: All right, There'll be no butt cheeks tomorrow. You will
- 50:17Speaker 1: see me coming out the car. Okay, okay, okay, um,
- 50:23Speaker 1: Well there is there is another issue we got here
- 50:25Speaker 1: on the table, and what is that? So so miss
- 50:29Speaker 1: krmen as she told you about, uh, the conversation she's
- 50:33Speaker 1: been having with Tommy. Who is Tommy? So that once again,
- 50:38Speaker 1: so your wife ain't telling you nothing? So she she
- 50:40Speaker 1: hadn't told you nothing about her talking to Tommy. No, dude,
- 50:44Speaker 1: I don't want to play games. Man. Who's Tommy? Okay?
- 50:46Speaker 1: So so okay, okay, do you know? Okay? Okay cool?
- 50:50Speaker 1: Do you know who nephew Tommy is from the Steve
- 50:53Speaker 1: Harvey more on this show? Do you know him? Yeah?
- 50:58Speaker 1: I know, Nate. You just got pranked by your wife calming. Baby. Hey,
- 51:12Speaker 1: at least he knows the Oh my god, wow, oh man.
- 51:25Speaker 1: I gotta ask you something before we go, Baby, what
- 51:27Speaker 1: is the baddest and I mean the baddest radio showing
- 51:30Speaker 1: the land? Steve Harvey born his show and that is
- 51:43Speaker 1: and that is straightened down. There's a problem and he
- 51:50Speaker 1: worked on it. I got kissed that you understand. But
- 51:54Speaker 1: it's okay, as you should have part of the job.
- 51:57Speaker 1: That was the problems. Yea went pretty much left off
- 52:02Speaker 1: and as he should have. It's okay, It's okay here

- 52:20Speaker 1: And I will be I will be telling jokes there.
- 52:23Speaker 1: Thank you. You know we were gonna ask you if
- 52:26Speaker 1: it was sold out for blues and okay, I'm gonna
- 52:29Speaker 1: tell you, Tim, but that is an interesting question. I'm
- 52:34Speaker 1: gonna take you feel me. I'm gonna take a picture

- 54:00Speaker 1: could be reading your letter live on the air, just
- 54:03Speaker 1: like we're gonna read this one right here, right now.
- 54:07Speaker 1: Let's go buckle up and hold on tight. We got
- 54:09Speaker 1: it for you here. It is the straw Berry Letter.
- 54:13Speaker 1: All right, subjects, It's my house and I'll smoke if
- 54:17Speaker 1: I want to. Oh oh, did that perk you up?
- 54:21Speaker 1: Jay for some reason? All right, here we go. Dear
- 54:26Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley, My wife and I have been married for
- 54:29Speaker 1: five years and we live in a five bedroom home.
- 54:32Speaker 1: My parents recently moved to the city we live in
- 54:35Speaker 1: to be closer to their grandchildren are kids. My wife
- 54:40Speaker 1: and I have allowed my parents to stay with us
- 54:42Speaker 1: temporarily while they moved into their new home. Everything was
- 54:46Speaker 1: going great until my mother started having an issue with
- 54:50Speaker 1: my wife. My wife smokes weed often, and I don't
- 54:54Speaker 1: have an issue with it, but I have asked her
- 54:58Speaker 1: nicely not to in front of my parents out of respect.
- 55:02Speaker 1: I smoke weed occasionally with her, but I was raised
- 55:06Speaker 1: to respect my elders, so I will go in the
- 55:08Speaker 1: backyard or do it in the garage out of respect
- 55:12Speaker 1: for my parents. My wife was raised differently, and she
- 55:15Speaker 1: says that it's her house and she shouldn't have to
- 55:18Speaker 1: hide anything just because we have guests. So now my
- 55:21Speaker 1: mom is complaining daily, and I'm not sure how to
- 55:24Speaker 1: handle this. What do I do when my wife smokes
- 55:27Speaker 1: weed with her mom when we go visit her parents.
- 55:30Speaker 1: This is impacting our marriage, but my wife doesn't get it.
- 55:36Speaker 1: My parents are beginning to look uncomfortable in our house,
- 55:39Speaker 1: and I hate that they don't feel like they can
- 55:41Speaker 1: sit and watch TV with us because of the weed
- 55:43Speaker 1: smell and smoke. I can't believe my wife is this
- 55:46Speaker 1: disrespectful and would choose being high over being a decent
- 55:51Speaker 1: daughter in law. Please help? All right, Well, first of all,
- 55:54Speaker 1: I'm on your side. I get that at your house,
- 55:57Speaker 1: I understand that completely. And yes, as we were raised,
- 56:02Speaker 1: it's your house and you should be able to do
- 56:04Speaker 1: whatever you want to do in your own home. You
- 56:06Speaker 1: pay the mortgage. I get all of that. But on
- 56:09Speaker 1: the other hand, there is such a thing as respect.
- 56:12Speaker 1: We were raised to respect our elders and all of that,
- 56:16Speaker 1: and if and if your parents are feeling disrespectful and uncomfortable,
- 56:21Speaker 1: hopefully they will hurry up and get out of there.
- 56:23Speaker 1: At number one, if they're feeling uncomfortable, they're they're not
- 56:26Speaker 1: going to want to stay much longer. But yeah, I
- 56:29Speaker 1: think your wife is wrong in this instance, choosing being
- 56:32Speaker 1: high and smoking in front of them over being a
- 56:36Speaker 1: respectful daughter in law. You know, a lot of people
- 56:38Speaker 1: I'm sure will probably disagree with me because it is
- 56:41Speaker 1: your house. But in this instance, I just think respect
- 56:44Speaker 1: above all, uh, you know, should be the way to
- 56:48Speaker 1: go here. I mean, what is it going to hurt
- 56:51Speaker 1: for her to go out in the backyard with you
- 56:55Speaker 1: to smoke a joint or something like that, or in
- 56:58Speaker 1: the garage? What is that going to hurt? I mean, Okay,
- 57:01Speaker 1: now everybody knows you smoke weed and you can do it,
- 57:03Speaker 1: and it's legal and all of that in so many
- 57:06Speaker 1: states and things. But come on, show a little decorum,
- 57:09Speaker 1: show a little respect here. Especially you have guests, and
- 57:13Speaker 1: if your guests are uncomfortable, the whole thing about having
- 57:15Speaker 1: guests is to make them feel comfortable being hospitable. They
- 57:20Speaker 1: don't you haven't said one time in the letter that
- 57:22Speaker 1: they're putting you out, or they're taking over your home,
- 57:25Speaker 1: or they're being disrespectful to you in your home. So
- 57:30Speaker 1: I think that your wife should take um, you know,
- 57:34Speaker 1: should should take your side on this and be show
- 57:36Speaker 1: a little more respect to her elders. Definitely, Tommy, I
- 57:43Speaker 1: have high hopes on this one. I really do. I
- 57:47Speaker 1: have high hopes. The problem is, I'm worried about your
- 57:51Speaker 1: mom and your dad, all right, because your mom and
- 57:54Speaker 1: your dad is sitting there watching TV. And trust me,
- 57:57Speaker 1: they didn't get high. Now with your content, you got,
- 58:00Speaker 1: your mom and dad is high. So when they go
- 58:02Speaker 1: over to the house that they're getting ready to move into,
- 58:04Speaker 1: it the real to looking at them because she they
- 58:06Speaker 1: smell high. The eyes real, your mama num is high. Okay.
- 58:11Speaker 1: When they get the church on Sunday, they high. You
- 58:14Speaker 1: wonder why your mama keep going to the refrigerators because
- 58:16Speaker 1: they high. They're eating up everything around. They got the
- 58:20Speaker 1: munches off through the house. Your mama num is high okay,
- 58:24Speaker 1: And they know they high and they're trying to come down,
- 58:26Speaker 1: but your wife won't let them come down because she
- 58:29Speaker 1: keep getting them hi. It does I have a high hole,
- 58:33Speaker 1: But you got a weed white, and that's a tick
- 58:37Speaker 1: out a weed white. You need to do something with
- 58:41Speaker 1: your weed white. Y'all need to take off a weed
- 58:44Speaker 1: break sometimes. Okay, So y'all look, you're for real because
- 58:47Speaker 1: you yea, your mama just she just tell up. Your
- 58:50Speaker 1: mamma is walking around like snoop dog right now. She
- 58:52Speaker 1: doesn't high shout out all right, can't care. I understand
- 59:02Speaker 1: what's going on. I understand you want to respect your
- 59:04Speaker 1: mama and them. Yeah, I really don't know nobody to
- 59:07Speaker 1: get out with their mama. That's what your wife do.
- 59:09Speaker 1: That's the craziest thing I ever heard. All right, And
- 59:11Speaker 1: then and now you gotta and now you want to
- 59:14Speaker 1: go outside. And I'm sure when y'all go outside, the
- 59:16Speaker 1: weed come back in there. You know, anybody have I'm
- 59:20Speaker 1: assuming y'all don't have no kids, and you ain't doing
- 59:22Speaker 1: this around your kids. I'm hoping that's not happening, all right,
- 59:26Speaker 1: But but I do have high hopes that y'all will
- 59:28Speaker 1: finish this right here. But I think everywhere your mom
- 59:30Speaker 1: and them going, your mama closed and everything all that
- 59:33Speaker 1: they smell it like weed. That kidding together they do,
- 59:36Speaker 1: and they got cheering yea. So now in the cheering,
- 59:39Speaker 1: get what Hi? Hi? Yeah, they on their way to school.
- 59:43Speaker 1: High good luck, good luck, Yeah, talk to you. That's
- 59:46Speaker 1: all I got. High hope may go? All right? What
- 59:52Speaker 1: is his wife again? Tell me Queen White? I mean
- 59:57Speaker 1: you knew that five years ago. Don't nobody killing them?
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: I mean the bedrooms. Y'all got all your bedrooms. They're like, yeah, yeah,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: I feel badly for the parents. I really do in
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: this situation. Jay Um, And which brings me to you Jesus. Okay,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: I'm a connoisseur, and I am gonna answer this question.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: And you know what, I'm gonna be blunt because this
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: letter right here is a smoker. Yeah, and what you
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: have in the house is everybody's rolled up tight. People
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: need to loosen up. I'm not gonna have to get
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: put a shotgun on me to answer this question. I'm
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: not gonna just pass it on to somebody else. You
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: know what I mean. I think we're following Jack. You're
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: gonna you're gonna twist it just twisted just right. In
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: other words, I'm gonna hit this for your shot. You
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: ain't got that to word, but I think it's legal.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: What you're doing. Yeah, but the problem room is this,
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: you want people to come to your house. You want
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: to open up so you can have people to come
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: to your house. Yeah. What you don't want is for
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: him to state when we come back, I'll do all right. Well, listen,
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: we'll come back with part two of our response and
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: today's response to today's strawberry letter, It's my house and
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: I'll smoke if I want to. We'll be back at
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: twenty three after the hour. Choke on net till we
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: get back. Jack, you're listening to the String Show. All right,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter. Uh, it's my house and
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: I'll smoke if I want to. Man wrote in he
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: and his wife have been married for five years. They
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: live in a five bedroom home. His parents recently moved
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: to the city so they could be closer to their grandkids.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: And uh, he and his wife have allowed their parents
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: to stay with them. That's very very nice, saying the
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: parents are staying with them temporarily until they move into
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: their new home. All right, everything's going great until the
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: mother started. Until the man's mom started having an issue
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: with her daughter in law because she smokes weed in
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: the house. Now, this is offensive to the man's mother
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: in law, the house guests. Yeah, I'm sorry to his mom,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: to his house guests, because his wife's attitude is that
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: it's my house and I'll smoke wherever I want to
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: and if I want to. So the mom is feeling uncomfortable. Now.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: You know, as Tommy brought out, they probably are getting
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: contacts in the house. Yeah, that's that much weed in.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: You will get it right. And the son, at least
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: the son is being respectful because that's why he was
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: raised to respect his elders. He's going outside in the
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: backyard or in the garage because he does smoke occasionally
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: with his wife. His wife doesn't get it. His wife
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: grew up smoking weed with her mom, so she doesn't
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: see anything wrong with it. She doesn't see the respect
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: and quite frankly, she doesn't care because again she's saying,
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: it's her house. Yeah, it's her house. So we're gonna
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: let you take it from here, Jay, and uh, Well,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: on the back end, on the back end of why,
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: first of all, we need to look into why this
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: lady is smoking weed in front of the mom. We
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: need to we need to delve into that. We need
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: to answer that question. We need to be blunt with that.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: And the reason she's doing it is because she can't
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: stand this lady. And when you high, don't nothing bother you.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: So she definitely wants getting high just to stay mellow,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: so she won't cuss out, so she won't get in
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: the fifth fight. You know, none of that. As long
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: as I'm high. Whatever the lady doing this house, I
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: can live with it. But I and she says to herself,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: I'll be damned if I'm gonna walk outside in the
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: rain and smoke a joint when I want to have
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: a joint, that's my house. To quick quick, she says,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: it's weird herself. I'm with her on that. You got
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: to walk all the way outside to have some enjoyment.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: But wait a minute, Jay, you're a person that doesn't
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: like company, period or anybody else. Yeah, you don't like company.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: So even up they're there for five minutes, you want
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: them out. I want them out. Yeah. Well, first of all,
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: five minutes is way too long, okay, But I'm an
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: agreement with you. You got to be doing over him
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: for five minutes. She does want to driving something off.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: It don't take you that long. Okay, this wife is
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: the female you definitely, Yeah, I understand that. I understand
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: that everything about her is Jake. She's a female Jay.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: But you know what She's looking at it like this,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: Why should I have to make myself uncomfortable for you
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: to be comfortable? That's what she's saying. Why should I
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: have to walk way outside enjoy uh smoking what I
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: like to smoke. When you want to sit back in
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: your own house and listen to some mut you can't
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: do that outside. But Jane, you don't see this as disrespect.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: You do not see this as disrespect. We got to
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: her house, but if it makes your house guests uncomfortable
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: and they're there for a minute, she wants them out. Basically,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: That's what it sometimes in order to get a house
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: guests to leave. A little uncomfort will make them lead.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: So she's trying to smoke them out. Just yeah, she
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: wants them out, But Jay, we really want them. But
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: we were all raised to respect our elders. We really were,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: and that's where we try to teach our kids. We
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: do well. She's probably saying this, excuse me, but I'm
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: fitling light up. I'm pretty sure she's saying that she's
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: being polite, yelled, I'm about to roll one. Okay, that's
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: called manners. No, no disrespect, I'm for the fire one
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: up and Okay, she's herself and not saying anything, but
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: but she's just respecting her husband who has asked her
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: not to do it as well. Look, if he want
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: to go outside smoke, I'm not going out there. You can't.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: Have you ever tried to enjoy weed out in the cold.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: It's not fun. Good with you? You got the elements
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: is raining and dogs barking. That's not that's not comfortable.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: But go in the garage sometimes you ain't going to
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: I'm well, I'm gonna be how about we do this.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: Here's what we do when I smoke? You go outside?
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: How about that? Kay, there's older come on. Next thing.
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: You know, she's gonna be clamping down and everything. Y'all
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: can't make noise when you make love if you don't
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: stop it, if you don't nip this in the book up,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: what are you gonna say? Carlin? I was just saying
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: that she's just gonna put on her snoop dog gets
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: in their baby. Yeah, I mean don't get me wrong.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: I get that it's her house. I understand that. And
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: how many times have we think it's disrespectful, Shirley, I
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: really do think it's disrespectful because her husband's asked her there,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: they've invited. This is one two. It's time, Wow, another body,
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: she think, Baby, it's time to sign your look corner
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: with a wonder lady. Because wow, I mean while his wife,
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: he and his wife were raised very differently. Because I mean,
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: you were you allowed. I know you're gonna tell me no, Jay,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: you could. Yes, No, I didn't smoke. I don't even
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: I never cursed in family, absolutely not. Why because that's
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: how you were raised. Now to no, no, if my
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: mom was hid right now? Yeah, yes, no, I don't
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: believe that, Jay, I don't believe it. All right, we
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: gotta get out of here. I know now he's just
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: out now lying. Okay, listen, guys, email us your Instagram.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: That's your thoughts on today Strawberry letter at Steve Harvey
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: f M. Coming up in about ten minutes. We'll tell
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: you about rapper twenty one savage. He's doing big things
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: for young people. I love this story. We'll also do
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: some ass Jay, today. Uh, we'll do it. We'll give
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: you a question when all right, we're coming back right
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. According
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: to Double XL twenty one, Savage is planning on giving
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: one hundred and fifty jobs get this guys through at
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: Risk Youth. He's hoping to reach his goal by June.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: The jobs will reportedly consist of working on concessions at
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: sports events and concerts across the United States. I love
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: this candidates, Yeah, this is huge. Candidates will receive training
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: and experience, plus assistance and finding career opportunities for the future.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: Twenty one. Savage previously issued statement on the launch of
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: the bank Account campaign. Savage wrote on social media, while
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: my number one song was called bank Account growing up,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: I knew almost nothing about bank accounts. As I've gotten
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: smarter about financial management, realize how empowering it is to
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: control your money rather than be controlled by it, I
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: want to help kids with a background similar to mine
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: to get smart about their money. I freaking love this.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: I love this. It's great because yeah, I mean, in
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: all honesty, we weren't taught about money growing up, and
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: they don't teach you this in school. They don't teach
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: kids who come out of school how to balance a
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: check book. I mean, once you graduate, it just hits
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: you on the one. Yes, you gotta pay bills. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: you gotta make money. You gotta be honna manage that money.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: I like saving. You gotta learn how to save. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: you gotta learn how to save, man, you gotta. I
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: learned the hard way. I went on on tour in
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: a stage play back in the day and had blown
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: all my money. When I got home for the summer,
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: and I had to work a whole summer because I've
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: blown all the money from that day on. Let me
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: let bore what. I make some money, nine percent of it,
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: nine percent of the back. Yeah, you're I just save
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: it before I even look at it. That way you
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: know it's in the bank, and live up the other part. Right,
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: I think you're right. I learned that lesson too, to spend.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: Don't spend money that you you don't have. No, do
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: not spend my if you if you promised it, and
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: so you go out, Okay, I'm gonna get this money
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: so I can spend this this No, because then something
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: will come up and you won't get that money and
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: then you're out of money. So yeah, you got a
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: stuff that don't spend money that you don't have. But
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: that's what they don't teach kids that they don't teach
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: teach them that. The only thing we learned was, hey,
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: money doesn't grow on trees. I love this. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: he's yeah, you know, especially after the trouble that he
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: was in and everything, for him to still have a
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: positive attitude and want to kid him and help these youths. Yeah,
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: I love it. I absolutely love it to get smart
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: about their money too. Wow. All right, well, um, we're
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: gonna switch gears here. It's time now for ask Jay.
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: We're all right, Jake, we're gonna start it off this way. Uh,
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: what clues do you give to a house guest when
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: it's time to leave? I think that was sparked by
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: the struggling letter we had earlier. Okay, yeah, goes into
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: that though, can I can I ask you to, Jake,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: go ahead and listen to this. So I gotta text
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: her one of my girlfriends, and so she said that
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: her son had a playdate, right, and it went way
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: too long because the mom just wouldn't leave. So after
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: four hours she kept trying to hit to the other mom, okay,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: trying to wrap this up, and then she stayed. The
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: other mom just stayed there the whole time, Like, what
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: kind of hitts can you get to somebody like that
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: in that situation? Oh that's easy. Time you got it.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: Start getting I love That's exactly where I was going that.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: It's the reason I'm on team timey. We make a light,
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: that's not good, that's not you. I'm gonna get completely
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: naked right away. You walk down first without your shirt on.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: Let's drop it. Yeah, just drop in the end. Okay,
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: then you come back. You got your pants open, They
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: now off, they just open right. Scratching, scratching really gets
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: rid of people. Yea, y'allbody ready wrapped this up. So
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: you say that though y'all ready to wrap say that, man,
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: I would uh if you really want to get rid
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: of somebody, put some paper in the living room, float newspaper.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: Just spread that out and just let them know. That's
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: you know, this week, I'm not using the bathroom in
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: the bathroom this week, I'm not I'm not using it
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: in now. I'm open with it. This week, I got
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: another I got this. This is my paper. That could
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: very well be the most ignorant things. But I bet
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: you could so freaking out there, I like it. You
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: want to wait, Tilly sitting down in the living room
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: there watching television, and you want to get all up
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: in your feet, I mean all up in that jam
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: that jam like you haven't heard anything like a man?
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: You hut that jammed jamnut that jam to hit him
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: jam jam. Don't just gross them out of the house. Yeah, yeah, okay,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: I hope she's listening. Yes, but by you gotta say this.
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: You gotta be polite. You gotta say, am I bothering you?
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: You gotta say that we don't because you're throwing them off? Yeah?
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: Am I bothering? Psychology? There? Yeah, all right, here's the question.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: One of my girlfriends asked me this just the other day.
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: She wants to know what where the best place is is?
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: Uh and tell me, I guess you can jump in
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: on this too, this one too. Where is the best
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: place to meet guys? She's not one to go on
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: like tender and stuff like that. She doesn't do that.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: She just wants, you know, where's the best place to
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: meet guys? If you don't do the social media yeah
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: you got that one. Yeah, well, produce sex, yes, right there,
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: produce sex, grocer story, produce oh, the grocery. So you don't.
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: That's why I see. We're so glad you man. I'm
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: so glad you made it. Watch him. Yeah, have never
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: but I probably you know a lot of people say
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: you can meet a woman at u huh, you can
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: meet a man at the grocer right there. Produce section Okay, okay,
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: they did ask me that. Okay, and they cook my girl.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: All my girlfriends cook or they wouldn't be my friends.
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: All right, coming up, coming up next, We're gonna get
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: serious here. This is a crazy, crazy story right here.
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: An officer using standard ground defense in a trial for
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: killing a black motorists found guilty. We'll talk about that
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: All right, So a jury isn't buying a former Florida
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: police officer standard ground defense in his trial for killing
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: a black motorist while on duty. Officer Numann Rajah has
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: been found guilty of manslaughter and attempted murder in the
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: fatal shooting of a stranded black motorist. The case stemmed
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: from the twenty fifteen from year two fifteen when African
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: American Corey Jones got out of his broken down SUV
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: when he was confronted by Raja, a police officer in
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: an unmarked car who was dressed in playing clothes. Now
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: while Raja claimed that he identified himself as a police
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: officer and that Jones pulled his weapon first, prosecutors say
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: that was alive. They say the Jones, who had concealed weapons,
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: had a concealed weapon permit, pulled his handgun because he
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: feared he was being robbed. Rajah then shot him repeatedly. Okay,
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: so here's the thing. Had it not been for the
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: fact that Corey Jones had called for roadside assistance, Rajah
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: may have gotten away with this all right, Here's and
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: here's why Jay his exchange with Corey Jones can be heard.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: And nowhere, nowhere does he identify himself himself as a
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: police officer. No Roger will be sentence April twenty six.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: He faces a mandatory sentence of at least twenty five
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: years to life in prison, as great some of the
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: members of the family personally, and that this trial went
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: on for three years and as he was being charged
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: he was allowed to be out of jail and and
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: and just going about his grief. Yeah, he was out free,
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: right wow? Yeah, wow, some part of justice for the family. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: They were told that when when the verdict came in
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: that they couldn't you know that yell and you know,
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: disrupt the court as the verdict came in as guilty.
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: So when they got outside and then a lot of
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: people who were connected to with the family, they're gonna
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: get involved in victims right too with because this has
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: happened all over the country man, all over Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: The Florida Standard Ground Statute allows anyone with a legitimate
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: fear of imminent danger to use lethal change that law.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Yeah they really Yeah, anyone you lie about saying you
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: said you were a police officer, you didn't even say that, right, right,
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: And and like he would have gotten away with it,
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: you know, had he not had Corey Jones not called
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: for m rod side assistance. You know that because they
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: were recording, they heard it. They heard the shots being fired.
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: Another life gone for no reason, no reason. Wow, gods. Yeah,
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: how's the family holding up? Jay? They he's kind of
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: holding up because they still waiting unsitencing and that's the
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: big thing, you know, because after you have found guilty,
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: you know, you got a lot of these judges that
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: are sometimes throw things out to look at Manaford as
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: a perfect example, you know, and then you know there's
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: black time and then there's white time. It just happened,
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: all Yeah. So you're saying that even with the prosecution
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: just going to the Maniford case, when Mulla representeth the
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: time that he should serve, the jug doesn't have to
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: like four years, he doesn't have to. Yeah, okay, And
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: it seems like sometimes with these kind of cases, the
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: judge sometimes sides yeah, yeah, Yeah. It goes by the
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: color of his skin a lot, it really does, unfortunately unfortunately.
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: Tray right, Yeah, you know, talking about this case, I'm
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: so glad to hear the guilty burden compared to last
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: week when we were talking about Stefan Clark Sacramento, where
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: the officers we're not right, and so many cases that's
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: the case they are not they get off the cops. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: And speaking of that, in case you didn't hear, um,
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: there's more trouble for r Kelly. You know, he got
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: out of jail on Saturday in Chicago. And an unknown
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: person or an anonymous person paid one hundred and sixty
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: one thousand dollars to secure his release. So he's out
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: of jail now. He paid the child support money and everything. Yeah,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: but there, yeah, he does. And this time they wanted
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: to remain anonymous. We don't know if it's the same
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: woman who paid the one hundreds. Yeah, one hundred and
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: sixty and he had to pay all of this money,
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: one hundred and sixty one thousand, because the phone call
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: will go like this, Hey, I'm in jail. I need
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: one hundred and sixty to get out, not dollars one
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: hundred and sixty thousand. Hello, yeah, hello, are right? All right,
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: But but there's even more trouble for Kelly, for R. Kelly.
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: On yesterday, you all know who Gloria Allread is, right, Yes, well,
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: she gave authorities a video that allegedly shows R. Kelly
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: quote sexually abusing children. This is brand new, this just
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: happened yesterday. Yep. Gloria all Read claims this is not
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: the same video that led to the indictment of Kelly
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: for allegedly abusing four miners between the years of nineteen
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: ninety eight and twenty ten Now. According to All Read,
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: her client Gary Davis, discovered the video and a box
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: of old v h S tapes and he was horrified
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: by what was on the tape. Kelly's attorney, Steve Greenberg
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: quote denies that Kelly is on any tape with underage girls.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: But I mean these tapes and everything, these allegations just
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: keep mounting up for R. Kelly. This is crazy. Another tape. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: this is really real. And they say they're more tapes
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: out there, and they're more tapes. Oh yeah, because aspect Instagram.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: But you know, is the commitment in these interviews, the
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: commitment of how you you've really seen you telling the
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: truth and none of this ever happened, all these women
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: lying on you. Yeah, and you are just committed to
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: what you're saying. That he believes he didn't do anything.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: There's the there, Yeah, that is. There is a sickness. Right.
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: But can we just say send a shout out to
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: Keenan and Leslie Jones with Saturday Live. Oh my god,
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: I saw it, man? Did you see it? Is so good?
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: He's really really good. We have to give him his
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: prop because yeah, he did the dog on thing. He
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: was I'm not being funny. Is he losing weight because
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: he looks he definitely looked stand yah. Yeah, and he
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: looked stander on the Mass Singer. Yeah, she's gonna say
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: that because he nick Cannon are best friends. Good. Oh.
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: I love the Mass Singer. I love the Mass Singer.
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: But yeah, they do their thing on Saturday Night Live.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: The opening and the reason why I bought it up
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: was because how ridiculous r Kelly, you know, inview with
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: gays and then when you see it on Saturday Night Live,
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: it's like exactly, yeah, you know what I mean, Like,
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: are you insane? Sick? Yeah, it's it's a sickness. I
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: do believe that. Yeah, yeah wow. But anyway, um, yeah,
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know how he's gonna get out
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: of this. When he got out of the other before
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: he gonna fly. It's one thing, but you know, it's
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: one thing to talk about it in an interview. It's
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: another thing when you in the courtroom and they got evidence.
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: That's a whole different ball game right there, tap you know,
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: when they have the and the evidence that they have, Yeah,
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: it's mounting. All right, coming up more of the Steve
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show right after this you're listening to show
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: woman was hospitalized this weekend when she entered a restricted
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: area in an Arizona zoo. And this is sad. She
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: was attacked by a jaguar. Guess why she entered the
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: restricted area in the zoo in the first place. She
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: was trying to get close so she could take a selfie.
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: What she was at the Wildlife Worlds do aquarium. Yeah,
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: in Arizona. The jaguar reached out and clawed her arm.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: Oh yeah, but it caused non threatening life injuries. But
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: zoo officials say the jaguar did nothing wrong. Yeah, he
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: was in his hand, jaguar. Yeah, nothing's going to happen
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: to the jaguar. Yeah. What color was this jaguar? Back?
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: I'll see what's gonna happen. I see it now, black black? Oh,
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: jaguar black. No, that's a panther. Yeah, I got this
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: black cat in my head. I'm spotted. Jags are spied, spider.
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: This is a special So he's not even went the
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: rest of the jaguar. He's just sitting up the mine
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: in his own business, right and in the zoo okay,
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: where they feed him and take care of him. And
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: here she comes trying to take a selfie. I can't
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: believe this lady's coming up him. Oh my god, she's
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: getting closer. No, she ain't bringing her ass to get
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: a selfie. I know she ain't trying to take a picture.
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: Cameras please me. Oh no, I'm gonna put my hands somewhere.
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: Thank god. There were no life threatening injuries. She is
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: in the hospital. She was hospitalized this weekend. But come on, now,
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: it's one of them things that you're going to the hospital.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: They keep asking you what what you're in for so
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: they can laugh at you. He should have went to
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: the Jaguar dealership and took about if you just got
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: the hat and it's pronounced that's right. Wow. I can't.
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: I just can't. I cannot see this. I can't. How
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: stupid people. Didn't you hear something? It's like that lady
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: a long time ago. Remember years ago, that lady had
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: that pet um chimpanzee, the monkey. Yeah, she had that
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: pet and he, yeah, tore her face. Friends, you can't, yeah,
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: come on, have some comments. And the other couple in
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: New York, didn't they have a tiger in their apartment
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: or something? Oh yeah, in New York. But it was,
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: but it was a retirement home across the street from
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: that apartment, and those um elderly people in the retirement
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: home kept saying, we we the tiger, and they was
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: not believable thought that the smoking is real. Yeah, see,
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: this is craziness. You can't do this. These are not
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: domesticated animals locked up in a zoo for a reason.
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: For a reason, yeah, not for you to get yourself
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: your baby girl, Oh my goodness, no goodness. And she's
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: still to get a good picture because she dropped that
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: damn kill me after she got scratched in the face.
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: You got a picture of the concrete. That's it. I
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: don't know what a jaguar sounds like, but I'm assuming
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: it sounds something you just wanted to make. She did
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: not nail it. You guys hate so much of my
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: animal sounds anyway. All right, weird news, right, Yeah, that's
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: so strange. Love it strange? Yeah, it is all right.
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: We'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: Show coming up right after this. You're listening to Steve
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys in entertainment news, J

- 1:28:01Speaker 1: because they're so happy. They've dated a little more than
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: two years now. They announced it on Instagram with simultaniel
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: posts simultaneous post Saturday night, they each shared a picture
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: of a Rod holding her hand while showing off I
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: mean the size of the biggest rock. Yeah, it's huge.
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: It's beautiful. Yeah, and yes, oh excuse me, yeah it's
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: somebody else. Bitter, but I'm yeah happy for them though.
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: They seem so equally matched and they I love them, uh,
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: Jennifer captioned hers with heart emojis, and yeah it's beautiful. Yeah,
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: isn't that bring beautiful? It was a million dollars with
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: a million dollars. Yeah, you're gonna love Yeah, you're gonna
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: love me. I mean yeah, we're a ring like this.
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: You're right. They do seem like they support each other,
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: Like you said, Shirley, he's always there for her. Yeah,
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: he's she's there for them. They have a blooded family. Yeah,
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: and they look so happy. They look genuinely happy. And
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: you know, hey, they say you have to kiss a
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: lot of frogs to find your prints, so there you go. Yeah, okay,
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: all right, it's moving on. Happy for that. Yeah, bitter man,
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: I can't do it. I'm trying to Hey day, do
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: you know do you know if this happened to you
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: to you, do you know how happy we would be
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: for you? No, you heard what I said? Hello, Shirley.
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: All right. In other entertainment news, whatever, jay uh, Jesse
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: Smallllett has been indicted. He was indicted this past Friday
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: by a grand jury sixteen felony counts of filing a
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: false police report after reportedly faking a hate crime in January.
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: This is crazy right here. The indictment means that the
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: Chicago Police presented enough evidence to the grand jury to
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: send Jesse Smollett to trial for the sixteen charges. Jesse
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: will be arraigned this Friday, March fourteen, to formally hear
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: his charges and to enter his plea of guilty or
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: not guilty. Wowcharge, Yeah, surely they overcharged for those sixteen countship. Yeah,
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: that way he'll he'll plead out and then it's just yeah, yeah,
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: Well I don't think they formally fired them. Yeah, and
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: I think they wrote his character out for the last
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: remaining the season. That's all the show. Yeah, well he's
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: still on the show, but for the season he's still on.
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: It's such a dumb thing to do. I mean for
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: this season. I don't think he's on. I think he's
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: still on the show. I think they come for the
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: remaining for the remaining two episodes. Yeah, but yeah, we
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: haven't heard anything about him being fired officially off of
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: Empire show. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, he's still Jamal Lyons right now.
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: Oh he's lying, all right? Yeah, And this is really
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: sad news, guys, This is really really sad news. George
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: Foreman his daughter Frieda, who followed in her dad's footsteps,
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: if you recall, and became a professional boxer in her
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: own right. She passed away. Her body was found in
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: her home near Houston by a family member. Cops her
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: awaiting a report from a coroner's office on the cause
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: of death. Yeah, she was forty two. And our thoughts
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: and prayers are with George Foreman and his family. All right,
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: we'll be back with the last break of the day.
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: We'll come back and close everything out at forty nine
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: after the hour right after this you're listening to all right,
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: here we are with the last break of the day.
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: Usually Steve of course does his closing remarks. Well, guess
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: what he's going to do them again today. Everybody texted us,
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: they emailed us social media DM. Does they love Steve's
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: closing remarks? So um, this one in particular, Jil, can
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: you imagine young kids have no idea? I know. All right, listen,
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: this one's for you, guys. This is Steve a special
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: repeat of his closing remarks right now. So my closing
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: remarks today, as I try to spur people on to
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: whatever greatness is for you, I want everybody to experience
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: whatever greatness is for you. I don't expect yours to
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: be the same as mine. Mine ain't gonna be the
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: same as yours. He ain't gonna be the same as her,
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: so forth and so on. But let me tell you
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: one thing that you have to do. You have to
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: start with action. Action is beginning of success. See action.
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: You've got to do something. See here's a deal. You
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: don't have to know how to finish something. You do
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: have to know how to start. Though. See, if you
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: don't know how you gonna make it from New York
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: to LA. The one way not to make it from
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: New York to LA is to never strike out. But
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: one thing for sure, one thing for sure, if you
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: start the action of making it from New York to
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: la You now have a chance. You have got to
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: take action, and I mean immediately. Stop procrastinating, y'all. Stop
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: waiting till everything looks right, feels right, till it gets right,
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: till this result come in, this bit of research come in.
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: You can't research success. You have to start. Suc Cess
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: begins with an action. It requires you to make a move,
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: please man in two nineteen, stop procrastinating, stop putting stuff
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: off to tomorrow. As soon as I get this, you
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: know what, you can start getting rid of those unwanted
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: pounds today. You can start with a simple decision. You
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: know what you could do. If let's say, let's say
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: you want to lose some pounds, you can say, you
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: know what, I'm gonna replace some of the food on
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: my plate with some vegetables. I ain't saying you gotta
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: quit eating meat, but just hold on, man, Instead of
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: all that pasta and all that bread and all that rice,
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: just put some vegetables on your plate. You can start somewhere, man,
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: replace something with a vegeta if you just start. If
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: if your goal is to make more money this year,
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: you got to take action. See, you may not be
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: able to go out and make a million dollars right away?
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: But what can you do to go make ten dollars?
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: Do something? Produce action. See, if you produce action, it
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: spurs you to the next point of action because you
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: start creating a habit within yourself. Man, I'm gonna do
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: something towards my goal today. I may not get to
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: my goal, but I'm gonna do something that moves me
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: closer to the goal. Inch by inch. Anything's a cinch.
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: You can do it by breaking everything down into increments.
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: Break it down into increments where you can handle it.
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: So what you can't run five miles today, can you
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: walk around the block? Then maybe tomorrow walk around the
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: block and go back the other way halfway, then walk
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: back home. How about that? But you've got to take action. Man,
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: you have to stop procrastinating if you want your life
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: to move forward. I've said this how many times on
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: this show. If you keep doing what you've been doing,
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: you're gonna keep getting what you've been getting. If you
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: want a different result this year, you got to perform differently,
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: and the different starts in your mind. You have total
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: control of your mind. Your mind belongs to nobody else.
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: I hate to break that to you. The Bible is
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: true when it says that a man is as he thinking.
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: So you know what that means. Excuse my grandma, but
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: that means because of how you think, that's how you is. Period.
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: I'm sorry, that's that's the way it is. If a
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: man is as he thinking, then how you think it's
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: how you is? How you don't see that. That's improper grammar,
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: But that's plain Jane for me. You can't get no
