Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is his verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson
- 0:04Speaker 2: with you. Nice to have you with us today. We've
- 0:06Speaker 2: got a lot to talk about, including some breaking news
- 0:09Speaker 2: with Joe Biden and Hunter Biden, plus an update on
- 0:13Speaker 2: one of our shows that went viral, dealing with Clarence
- 0:15Speaker 2: Thomas and what's happening on Capitol Hill, and finally the
- 0:18Speaker 2: end of Title forty two and what's happening at the border. Senator,
- 0:21Speaker 2: I want to get your initial response to the ex
- 0:24Speaker 2: spy and this is really big news behind the discredit
- 0:28Speaker 2: Hunter Biden letter claiming that that laptop was Russian disinformation
- 0:35Speaker 2: said he wanted to provide the Biden campaign with a
- 0:39Speaker 2: debate talking point quote unquote your reaction to that.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Well.
- 0:45Speaker 3: We now have an email on October nineteenth, twenty twenty,
- 0:49Speaker 3: where Michael Morrell, former senior official in the FBI, is
- 0:55Speaker 3: emailing to John Brennan, who was Obama's head of the FBI.
- 1:00Speaker 3: The email says, John, can I add your name to
- 1:02Speaker 3: this list? We'll be adding Leon Sue Gordon, Jay Johnson,
- 1:07Speaker 3: George Lisimonico, and Mike Rogers today and working on adding
- 1:13Speaker 3: Dan Coates. Mike Rogers and Tom Bossert, and lists of
- 1:17Speaker 3: other ic career folks trying to give the campaign, particularly
- 1:22Speaker 3: during the debate on Thursday, a talking point to push
- 1:26Speaker 3: back on Trump on this issue. Thanks Michael, And here's
- 1:30Speaker 3: Brennan's entire response. Okay, Michael, add my name to the list.
- 1:35Speaker 3: Good initiative, Thanks for asking me to sign on. This
- 1:40Speaker 3: was politics, This was senior officials of the intelligence community
- 1:46Speaker 3: lying for politics. Give Biden a debate talking point. Never
- 1:50Speaker 3: mind that it's a lie. Falsely claim the true information
- 1:54Speaker 3: in Hunter Biden's laptop is actually Russian disinformation because they
- 1:58Speaker 3: know Biden will be all all the happy to lie
- 2:00Speaker 3: about it. And by the way, who is John Brennan.
- 2:03Speaker 3: John Brennan was Obama's CIA director. Who is such a
- 2:08Speaker 3: radical that when he was a young man, nineteen eighty
- 2:15Speaker 3: election between Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan, do you know
- 2:20Speaker 3: who John Brennan voted for.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna guess not Ronald Reagan.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Not Ronald Reagan, but not Jimmy Carter. He voted for
- 2:30Speaker 3: the communist on the ballot.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Wow.
- 2:33Speaker 3: He said, Jimmy Carter is not liberal enough, and so
- 2:37Speaker 3: he voted for the communist nominee. To be president of
- 2:41Speaker 3: the United States. That's who Obama put put in place.
- 2:47Speaker 3: It was Gus Hall was his name, and he was
- 2:50Speaker 3: the nominee of the Communist Party of the United States.
- 2:53Speaker 3: He was the nominee in nineteen seventy two, nineteen seventy six,
- 2:55Speaker 3: nineteen eighty and nineteen eighty four. And John Brennan said,
- 2:59Speaker 3: now that Jimmy Carter guy too much of a right winger.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Give me the full fledged communist. And you know, one
- 3:05Speaker 3: of the things communists are happy to do lie, lie
- 3:09Speaker 3: when it helps them politically. Actually, communists embrace lying as
- 3:13Speaker 3: one of the tools they engage in. That is who
- 3:17Speaker 3: Tony Blinken, who got rewarded with Secretary of State. That's
- 3:21Speaker 3: who Tony Blinken was rounding up. Give me the communist
- 3:25Speaker 3: wh run the CIA. You know, it's sort of like,
- 3:28Speaker 3: let's call Mikey, he'll eat anything. Let's call John He'll
- 3:31Speaker 3: say anything. And they got their talking point at the debate,
- 3:34Speaker 3: and Biden was more than happy to repeat it, even
- 3:36Speaker 3: though it was an utter and complete lie.
- 3:39Speaker 2: This is you and I have had this discussion behind
- 3:42Speaker 2: the scenes, and I'm excited to tell the audience we've
- 3:46Speaker 2: decided on Wednesday to do a special show really recapping
- 3:50Speaker 2: where we are with Joe Biden, the Biden Krame family,
- 3:54Speaker 2: the nine family members that we know of taking money,
- 3:56Speaker 2: and we're gonna have a very twelve Now that's a
- 3:59Speaker 2: twelve after twelve excuse me twelve people.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Now.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Tell everybody who we're going to be having on the
- 4:04Speaker 2: show on Wednesday and why they don't want to miss
- 4:06Speaker 2: that one.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Well, we'll be having my longtime friend Jim Jordan. He's
- 4:09Speaker 3: going to join us on the pod and we're going
- 4:11Speaker 3: to do a deep dive into the investigations that Jim
- 4:14Speaker 3: is leading in the House of Representatives. We're going to
- 4:16Speaker 3: talk about where they stand, We're going to talk about
- 4:18Speaker 3: the details, and the nice thing about it is we're
- 4:21Speaker 3: going to go through it at a level of specificity
- 4:24Speaker 3: that you don't get into watching a TV show. Look,
- 4:28Speaker 3: you know, I go on Fox News, I go on Newsmax,
- 4:30Speaker 3: I do TV hits. You do also, you're doing a
- 4:34Speaker 3: six minute hit, an eight minute hit. You can get
- 4:36Speaker 3: a little talking point in, you can say something, a
- 4:39Speaker 3: brief little a line that's catchy, maybe a tiny little vignette.
- 4:43Speaker 3: But that's it. A big part of the reason I
- 4:47Speaker 3: like the podcast format is, you actually have the ability
- 4:51Speaker 3: to discuss something of substance. So we're going to sit
- 4:53Speaker 3: down with Jim Jordan and say, let's talk about this.
- 4:55Speaker 3: What's this about? What are the issues, what are the facts,
- 4:58Speaker 3: what do we know? What do we need to and
- 5:01Speaker 3: so if you really want to understand all of the
- 5:04Speaker 3: evidence of corruption surrounding Joe Biden, both in his time
- 5:09Speaker 3: as vice president and his time as president, Wednesday's podcast
- 5:13Speaker 3: is going to be one you won't want to miss
- 5:15Speaker 3: because we're going to walk through the details carefully, in clear,
- 5:18Speaker 3: understandable ways.
- 5:20Speaker 2: One last question on this one. There does seem to
- 5:23Speaker 2: be a narrative change recently on this There does seem
- 5:28Speaker 2: to be now a White House that's willing to speak
- 5:30Speaker 2: out and not just dodge sayings being forced, I would
- 5:34Speaker 2: argue to speak out on this. Do you feel that
- 5:37Speaker 2: even in Washington, d C. Where there's so much numbness
- 5:40Speaker 2: to scandals and even jadedness, that this does seem to
- 5:44Speaker 2: be changing a little bit?
- 5:46Speaker 3: It does, and look to show you how bad it is,
- 5:49Speaker 3: let me just read you three headlines from the past week.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Headline number one from CBS News Grassley Comer alleged bribery
- 5:59Speaker 3: scheme in involving Biden and demand documents from FBI. That's
- 6:04Speaker 3: one headline. Here's a second headline. This one is from Politico,
- 6:10Speaker 3: Bracing for impact Biden World preps for Hunter Biden fallout.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Biden aids are more worried about the personal toll it
- 6:20Speaker 3: will take on the president as a father. So that's
- 6:23Speaker 3: headline number two. All right, let me just give you
- 6:25Speaker 3: one more headline number three, Biden's setting stage for pardoning
- 6:30Speaker 3: Hunter as he frames potential DOJ charges as political witch hunt.
- 6:37Speaker 3: Biden denied that a potential Hunter indictment would have any
- 6:40Speaker 3: impact on his presidency. That's from Fox News. Again, just
- 6:46Speaker 3: in the past couple of days. This is getting worse
- 6:50Speaker 3: and worse and worse. And the amazing thing is this
- 6:54Speaker 3: is all why while DOJ is desperately trying to cover
- 6:57Speaker 3: up the connection to the big guy to they're trying
- 7:01Speaker 3: to put it all on Hunter, the poor troubled soul,
- 7:04Speaker 3: and protect against any investigation into the real corruption that
- 7:09Speaker 3: is the matter of public concern.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Yeah, the Wednesday show is going to be one for
- 7:12Speaker 2: the books. Make sure you hit that subscribe, that auto
- 7:15Speaker 2: download button wherever you're listening to this podcast and tell
- 7:18Speaker 2: your family and friends about it, especially on Wednesday. It's
- 7:20Speaker 2: going to be a really fun, in depth, deep look
- 7:23Speaker 2: at this story and where it stands now with this
- 7:26Speaker 2: actual investigation on the house side with Jim Jordan. He
- 7:29Speaker 2: will join us on Wednesday show, so make sure for that, Senator.
- 7:32Speaker 2: I want to also move to another update. And this
- 7:36Speaker 2: was dealt with Clarence Thomas. We talked about it, had
- 7:39Speaker 2: a special guest talking about Clarence Thomas. The attack on
- 7:42Speaker 2: Clarence Thomas was going to happen. We knew that next
- 7:44Speaker 2: day by Democrats. They're trying to undermine him, really undermine
- 7:48Speaker 2: the Supreme Court. And you had a very interesting conversation
- 7:53Speaker 2: that I want to play for people so that they
- 7:55Speaker 2: can hear this. And before I play that, I do
- 7:57Speaker 2: want to tell you about our friends at Chalk. If
- 7:59Speaker 2: you're a guy and you feel like you've lost some
- 8:02Speaker 2: of that strength and vitality and now you feel like

- 9:11Speaker 2: exposing the baseless smears that were directed to Justice Thomas
- 9:16Speaker 2: by Democrats and the media who has been doing this
- 9:19Speaker 2: as well. They have been all in on trying to
- 9:21Speaker 2: take down Clarence Thomas. I want to play for everybody
- 9:25Speaker 2: because it was just so brilliant you exposing just some
- 9:30Speaker 2: of these lies before Congress as Democrats were gearing up
- 9:33Speaker 2: and they want to get rid of Clarence Thomas.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Make no mistake about it. Take a listen to this.
- 9:37Speaker 3: In nineteen ninety one, Justice Clarence Thomas appeared before this
- 9:41Speaker 3: committee in one of the most disgraceful performances by the
- 9:45Speaker 3: Senate Judiciary Committee in our nation's history. Justice Thomas rightly
- 9:49Speaker 3: described the treatment he got from then Chairman Joe Biden
- 9:53Speaker 3: and Senate Democrats is a quote high tech lynching. It
- 9:57Speaker 3: is sad to see thirty years later, this media is
- 10:00Speaker 3: again engaged in the same despicable tactics. Senate Democrats and
- 10:06Speaker 3: their lapdogs in the media are engaged in a twofold
- 10:09Speaker 3: political campaign. Number one, to delegitimize the Supreme Court of
- 10:13Speaker 3: the United States because they are angry that they're a
- 10:15Speaker 3: majority of constitutionalists on the Court. But number two, very directly,
- 10:20Speaker 3: this is a political campaign designed to smear Justice Clarence Thomas.
- 10:26Speaker 3: And the reason is simple. The Left despises Clarence Thomas.
- 10:32Speaker 3: And they do not despise him because he's a conservative.
- 10:35Speaker 3: The left despises Clarence Thomas because he is a conservative
- 10:39Speaker 3: African American. Here's what Clarence Thomas said at that confirmation hearing,
- 10:43Speaker 3: he said, if you are a free thinking African American, quote,
- 10:47Speaker 3: you will be lynched, destroyed, and caricatured by a committee
- 10:50Speaker 3: of the US Senate. Well, in three decades, that hasn't changed,
- 10:54Speaker 3: and it's gotten worse. And to be clear, here's the
- 10:57Speaker 3: left's view. I point to one article just three weeks ago.
- 11:02Speaker 3: The Democrats need to destroy Clarence Thomas's reputation. They'll never
- 11:07Speaker 3: successfully impeach him. But so what make him a metaphor
- 11:11Speaker 3: for every insidious thing the far right has done to
- 11:14Speaker 3: this country. That's what the left is trying to do.
- 11:17Speaker 3: And I will tell you if you look at the
- 11:20Speaker 3: next poster board. The left has repeatedly attacked Clarence Thomas
- 11:25Speaker 3: with a racism. This is a magazine cover that showed
- 11:29Speaker 3: Justice Scalia every bit as conservative as Clarence Thomas, but
- 11:33Speaker 3: he's portrayed as the master, and Clarence Thomas, in a
- 11:36Speaker 3: bigoted attack, is portrayed as shining his shoes. I'll show
- 11:41Speaker 3: you another one to give you a sense of the
- 11:43Speaker 3: racist vitriol from the left. Here's a racist caricature of
- 11:47Speaker 3: Clarence Thomas. Lon jockey for the far right. This is
- 11:51Speaker 3: the bigoted contempt the left has. I'll show you another
- 11:55Speaker 3: another magazine cover offensively. This is how the left views
- 12:02Speaker 3: Clarence Thomas. Now, it's important for people at home to
- 12:05Speaker 3: understand this is not about judicial ethics. You can take
- 12:07Speaker 3: those down. This is not about judicial ethics. This is
- 12:10Speaker 3: not about rules that should apply to judges across the board.
- 12:13Speaker 3: We could have a reasonable discussion about that. This is
- 12:16Speaker 3: about applying a double standard to Clarence Thomas and only
- 12:20Speaker 3: Clarence Thomas. The attack that my Democrat colleagues breathlessly repeat
- 12:25Speaker 3: is that Clarence Thomas stayed at the vacation home of
- 12:28Speaker 3: a very close friend of his, a successful Texas businessman,
- 12:31Speaker 3: flew on his plane and went on his yacht. Well,
- 12:35Speaker 3: if that's the standard going and traveling and being paid
- 12:39Speaker 3: for by others, then guess what. Just about every Supreme
- 12:42Speaker 3: Court justice has done so, and done so in much
- 12:45Speaker 3: greater numbers. Justice Thomas was appointed in nineteen ninety one.
- 12:49Speaker 3: In the time since then, he's taken one hundred and
- 12:51Speaker 3: nine reported trips, five international trips. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg
- 12:56Speaker 3: was appointed in nineteen ninety three, two years later. In
- 12:58Speaker 3: the time she was on the court, she took one
- 13:01Speaker 3: hundred and fifty seven trips, including twenty eight international trips.
- 13:07Speaker 3: Mister Payne, Yes or no. Do you think Ruth bader
- 13:09Speaker 3: Ginsburg was corrupt? No, nor do I. Ruth bader Ginsburg
- 13:15Speaker 3: was not alone. Justice Stephen Bryer, appointed the year later
- 13:18Speaker 3: in nineteen ninety four, took two hundred and thirty three
- 13:20Speaker 3: reported trips, including sixty three international trips. Again, yes or no,
- 13:25Speaker 3: mister Payne, do you think Stephen Bryer was corrupt? No,
- 13:29Speaker 3: nor do I. I would point out Justice Kagan has done
- 13:32Speaker 3: the same thing. Justice so too, my ore has done
- 13:34Speaker 3: the same thing. And yet none of my Democrat colleagues care,
- 13:38Speaker 3: because this is a political attack directed at a justice
- 13:42Speaker 3: they hate. And by the way, let's spend a moment
- 13:45Speaker 3: focusing on Justice Stephen Brier, a delightful human being, someone
- 13:49Speaker 3: I know personally, someone who served decades on the Court.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Justice Stephen Bryer repeatedly traveled on the penny of a
- 13:58Speaker 3: prominent Democratic billionaire, the Pritzker family. Now JB. Pritzner is
- 14:05Speaker 3: the Democrat governor of the state of Illinois, from which
- 14:08Speaker 3: our chairman hails I would be shocked if the chairman
- 14:12Speaker 3: of this committee has not had multiple meals with the
- 14:15Speaker 3: Pritzker family. Justice Bryer was a longtime member of the
- 14:19Speaker 3: board that awarded the Pritzker Architecture Prize. Now what did
- 14:22Speaker 3: that mean? That meant Justice Bryar traveled on the dime
- 14:26Speaker 3: of these Democrat billionaires. In twenty nineteen, Justice Briar traveled
- 14:30Speaker 3: to New York City, to Vancouver and Paris. In twenty eighteen,
- 14:34Speaker 3: Justice Bryar traveled to Ireland and Spain. In twenty sixteen,
- 14:38Speaker 3: he traveled to New York, Spain and France. In twenty thirteen,
- 14:41Speaker 3: he traveled to Norway, Sweden, Denmark. In twenty twelve, he
- 14:45Speaker 3: traveled to Beijing and to London. All of this paid
- 14:48Speaker 3: for by the Pritzker Foundation. Now, none of my Democrat
- 14:51Speaker 3: colleagues are mad about this, And let me be clear,
- 14:53Speaker 3: I'm not suggesting Justice Bryer is corrupt. What I'm suggesting
- 14:58Speaker 3: is this committee is corrupt because this is a kangaroo
- 15:01Speaker 3: circuit circus. And I will note we had fifteen Senate Democrats,
- 15:05Speaker 3: including six members of this committee, send a letter to
- 15:08Speaker 3: the Appropriations Committee threatening to cut off the funding for
- 15:12Speaker 3: security at the Supreme Court. The left is willing to
- 15:16Speaker 3: threaten the lives of the justices. Justice Samuel Alito this weekend,
- 15:21Speaker 3: and the Wall Street Journal said that the attacks directed
- 15:24Speaker 3: at the justices are making them targets of assassination. This
- 15:29Speaker 3: is disgraceful. Every Senator who signed this letter should be embarrassed.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Mister Chairman, I ask unanimous consent to this letter be
- 15:38Speaker 3: admitted into the record, and also that the interview with
- 15:41Speaker 3: Justice Alito from this weekend being entered into the record.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Democrats can have disagreements based on law, but this attempt
- 15:49Speaker 3: to delegitimize the court, this attempt to personally smear Clarence Thomas,
- 15:53Speaker 3: is dishonest. And everyone in the media echoing it is
- 15:57Speaker 3: participating in a shameful report. Prize of nineteen ninety one
- 16:02Speaker 3: high Tech.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Lynching Center unbelievable by the way, the way that you
- 16:07Speaker 2: laid it out for everybody, and I'm glad that you
- 16:09Speaker 2: were able to do that, But the media hasn't stopped
- 16:12Speaker 2: since then. They're still coming after Clarence Thomas and his
- 16:15Speaker 2: family members.
- 16:17Speaker 3: Well, that's exactly right. So what you just played was
- 16:19Speaker 3: from the Judiciary Committee hearing last week. It was the
- 16:23Speaker 3: hearing un quote judicial ethics, and it was the reason
- 16:26Speaker 3: we released the pod a day early last week. We
- 16:29Speaker 3: normally do Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Last week we did Monday, Tuesday,
- 16:33Speaker 3: and Friday because we wanted last Tuesday's pod to be
- 16:37Speaker 3: out before the hearing and judiciary. That pod provided in
- 16:42Speaker 3: great detail some of the background on Clarence Thomas as
- 16:45Speaker 3: to why the charges weren't accurate, and I got to say,
- 16:48Speaker 3: it really was striking because the hearing did not go
- 16:52Speaker 3: the way the Democrats wanted, and by the end of it,
- 16:54Speaker 3: the Democrat senators had fled the room. They realized their
- 16:58Speaker 3: hypocrisy had come out, and they wanted it to be
- 17:01Speaker 3: just a slugfest beating up on Justice Thomas.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Uh.
- 17:05Speaker 3: And it didn't play out that way because they have
- 17:07Speaker 3: no defense. They have no response. It's not like they
- 17:09Speaker 3: can say, oh, well, Justice Briar flying on lavish trips
- 17:15Speaker 3: to Europe paid for by Democrat billionaires, that that's very different.
- 17:18Speaker 3: They have no They literally just ignore the point. What's
- 17:23Speaker 3: happened since then, Well, what's happened since then is the
- 17:26Speaker 3: drip drip drip of attacks. And we talked about this
- 17:30Speaker 3: before in last Tuesday's pod. This is an organized political attack.
- 17:35Speaker 3: This is just like if you're running a campaign for
- 17:39Speaker 3: governor or senator or president. The other side has an
- 17:41Speaker 3: OPA research department. They're putting out a daily attack and
- 17:44Speaker 3: they are running a campaign against Clarence Thomas. And to
- 17:48Speaker 3: be clear, let's be very clear what their objective is.
- 17:53Speaker 3: Their objective is to destroy Justice Thomas. Let me read
- 17:57Speaker 3: you a little bit from an opinion column than the
- 18:00Speaker 3: Washington Post by Ruth Marcus, the associate editor. The title
- 18:05Speaker 3: is Clarence Thomas should get out his checkbook and reimburse
- 18:09Speaker 3: Harlan Crow. The opening line of it is the Clarence
- 18:13Speaker 3: Thomas story has now entered the Abe Fortis danger zone. Now,
- 18:17Speaker 3: who is abe Fortis? Abe Fortis is a Supreme Court
- 18:19Speaker 3: justice who resigned in disgrace because of corruption. That's what
- 18:24Speaker 3: the left wants, and that's the analogy we're hearing lots
- 18:28Speaker 3: and lots of people tell the story of abe Fortis.
- 18:30Speaker 3: Why the left is convinced themselves if they can relentlessly
- 18:34Speaker 3: drag Justice Thomas through the mud, at some point he'll
- 18:38Speaker 3: surrender and go away, and they can replace one of
- 18:42Speaker 3: the greatest constitutionalists ever with a left wing activist who
- 18:46Speaker 3: will undermine the Constitution and implement and force the left's
- 18:53Speaker 3: radical agenda on the American people. That's what they're trying
- 18:56Speaker 3: to do. By the way, you know, it's very interesting
- 18:59Speaker 3: the post says Clarence Thomas should reimburse Harlan Crowe. You
- 19:02Speaker 3: know what they didn't say. They didn't say Stephen Brier
- 19:05Speaker 3: should reimburse the Pritzkers. They didn't say Ruth Bader Ginsburg
- 19:09Speaker 3: should reimburse everyone who paid for her trips. They didn't
- 19:12Speaker 3: say Sonya Sotomayor should reimburse everyone who paid for her trips.
- 19:15Speaker 3: They didn't say Elena Kagan should reimburse everyone who paid
- 19:18Speaker 3: for her trips. This is designed to be a very
- 19:21Speaker 3: deliberate attack going directly at at Clarence Thomas. And so
- 19:32Speaker 3: now they've launched yet another attack. And the latest attack,
- 19:35Speaker 3: which they saved until after the hearing so that there
- 19:38Speaker 3: would not be a forum to provide the response to it,
- 19:42Speaker 3: is that this same Texan Harlan Crowe, also paid thousands
- 19:49Speaker 3: of dollars of tuition payments. And then this is now
- 19:52Speaker 3: what has the left clutching their pearls. Now, let's talk
- 19:56Speaker 3: about the facts. So Clarence Thomas and his wife Jenny
- 20:02Speaker 3: spent twelve years helping not their son, not their brother,
- 20:09Speaker 3: but rather their great nephew, an individual named Mark Martin
- 20:16Speaker 3: who was in trouble. He was in real need, and
- 20:19Speaker 3: Clarence Thomas and Jenny Thomas stepped forward heroically to raise
- 20:24Speaker 3: their great nephew and to raise him and to take
- 20:26Speaker 3: care of him. And this is what the Left is targeting,
- 20:31Speaker 3: is that for a period of time, Harlan Crowe paid
- 20:34Speaker 3: tuition payments to the schools where the Thomas's great nephew
- 20:39Speaker 3: was attending. Now, I want to go back Tuesday's podcast.
- 20:44Speaker 3: We interviewed Mark Paoletta, who has been doing just such
- 20:48Speaker 3: an incredible job defending Justice Thomas and putting the facts out.
- 20:52Speaker 3: And I want to do a little bit of an
- 20:54Speaker 3: in depth examination of the statement Mark Paoletta put out
- 20:58Speaker 3: on this attack on the toy payments, because it's important
- 21:01Speaker 3: to understand. So I'm reading from the statement of Mark Palett,
- 21:04Speaker 3: a friend of Justice Thomas quote. The Thomases have rarely
- 21:08Speaker 3: spoken publicly about the remarkably generous efforts to help a
- 21:13Speaker 3: child in need. They've always respected the privacy of this
- 21:16Speaker 3: young man and his family. It is disappointing and painful,
- 21:20Speaker 3: but unsurprising that some journalists and critics cannot do the same.
- 21:25Speaker 3: The Thomases quietly and honorably devoted twelve years of their
- 21:31Speaker 3: lives to helping a beloved child in desperate need of love, support,
- 21:35Speaker 3: and guidance. In nineteen ninety seven, Justice Thomas and his
- 21:40Speaker 3: wife brought their great nephew to live with them. They
- 21:44Speaker 3: agreed to take in this young child much as Justice
- 21:47Speaker 3: Thomas's grandparents had done for him and his brother in
- 21:50Speaker 3: nineteen fifty five. Justice Thomas's grandparents changed the trajectory of
- 21:55Speaker 3: his life, and the Thomass hoped to do the same
- 21:59Speaker 3: for a child in need. Justice Thomas and his wife
- 22:03Speaker 3: made immeasurable personal and financial sacrifices and poured every ounce
- 22:08Speaker 3: of their lives and hearts into giving their great nephew
- 22:10Speaker 3: a chance to succeed. In the summer of two thousand
- 22:14Speaker 3: and six, the Thomases were struggling to find a school
- 22:17Speaker 3: where they could send their great nephew. In discussing these
- 22:21Speaker 3: challenges with their dear friends Harlan and Kathy grow, Harlan
- 22:25Speaker 3: recommended that the Thomases consider one more option. Sending their
- 22:29Speaker 3: great nephew to Randolph Macon Academy. Harlan had attended Randolph
- 22:34Speaker 3: Macon and he thought the school would be a good fit.
- 22:38Speaker 3: Harlan had financially supported Randolph Macon since the nineteen eighties
- 22:42Speaker 3: and had funded scholarships for students from disadvantage ban backgrounds.
- 22:48Speaker 3: Harland offered to pay the first year of Justice Thomas's
- 22:51Speaker 3: great nephew's tuition in two thousand and six, and that
- 22:55Speaker 3: payment went directly to the school. Harlan Crowe's office confirmed
- 23:00Speaker 3: that he did not pay the great nephew's tuition for
- 23:02Speaker 3: any other year at Randolph Macon. After some time, Randolph
- 23:07Speaker 3: Macon recommended the great nephew attend a boarding school in
- 23:10Speaker 3: Georgia for one year. Harland offered to pay the first
- 23:14Speaker 3: year of tuition for their great nephew at the Georgia school,
- 23:17Speaker 3: and again those tuition payments went directly to the school
- 23:22Speaker 3: by the next year. By the next school year, two
- 23:24Speaker 3: thousand and nine, the Thomas's great nephew returned to Randolph Macon.
- 23:29Speaker 3: He moved back to Savannah and December two thousand and nine,
- 23:32Speaker 3: after he turned eighteen. The Thomases love their great nephew.
- 23:38Speaker 3: It is despicable that the presses dragged him into their
- 23:40Speaker 3: effort to smear Justice Thomas. This story is another attempt
- 23:45Speaker 3: to manufacture a scandal about Justice Thomas. But let's be
- 23:48Speaker 3: clear about what is supposedly scandalous. Now, Justice Thomas and
- 23:53Speaker 3: his wife devoted twelve years of their life to taking
- 23:56Speaker 3: in and caring for a beloved child who was not
- 23:59Speaker 3: there own Justice Justice Thomas's grandparents had done for him.
- 24:04Speaker 3: They made many personal and financial sacrifices to do this,
- 24:08Speaker 3: and along the way, their friends joined them in doing
- 24:11Speaker 3: everything possible to give this child a future. Harlan Crow's
- 24:15Speaker 3: tuition payments made directly to these schools on behalf of
- 24:19Speaker 3: Justice Thomas's great nephew did not constitute a reportable gift. Now,
- 24:24Speaker 3: this is where it's getting into the specific legal charge,
- 24:26Speaker 3: because the Left is claiming, aha, you did not report this,
- 24:31Speaker 3: So listen to the clear legal analysis. Justice Thomas was
- 24:36Speaker 3: not required to disclose the tuition payments made directly to
- 24:39Speaker 3: Randolph Macon and the Georgia School on behalf of his
- 24:43Speaker 3: great nephew because the definition of a quote dependent child
- 24:50Speaker 3: under the Ethics and Government Act, which is five USC.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Thirteen one oh one. Section two does not include a
- 24:58Speaker 3: great nephew. It is limited to a quote son, daughter, stepson,
- 25:07Speaker 3: or stepdaughter. Justice Thomas never asked Harlan Crow to pay
- 25:11Speaker 3: for his great nephew's tuition, and neither Harlan Crowe nor
- 25:15Speaker 3: his company had any business before the Supreme Court. This
- 25:19Speaker 3: malicious story shows nothing except for the fact that the
- 25:22Speaker 3: Thomases and the Crows are kind, generous and loving people
- 25:26Speaker 3: who tried to help this young man. Now there are
- 25:29Speaker 3: two really important things in there. Ben One is the
- 25:32Speaker 3: personal story. He had a story of generosity, a story
- 25:36Speaker 3: of caring for a child in need, a child who
- 25:39Speaker 3: was not their responsibility, was not their child, but they
- 25:41Speaker 3: stepped forward for a dozen years to help their great nephew.
- 25:45Speaker 3: But secondly, the whole legal hook, as they say, well, gosh,
- 25:50Speaker 3: Justice Thomas should have reported this on his financial disclosure.
- 25:54Speaker 3: The law is clear you have to disclose a payment
- 26:00Speaker 3: for a dependent child. And the statute I want to
- 26:04Speaker 3: read read this again. The statute defines a dependent child
- 26:08Speaker 3: as quote. The term dependent child means, when used with
- 26:12Speaker 3: respect to any reporting individual, any individual who is a son, daughter,
- 26:18Speaker 3: step son, or stepdaughter. By the way, that same definition
- 26:23Speaker 3: doesn't just apply to judges. That applies a lot of
- 26:26Speaker 3: other places, including to Congress. Do you know right now
- 26:31Speaker 3: that if you Ben Ferguson decided you wanted to give
- 26:33Speaker 3: a million dollars to the great nephew of Chuck Schumer,
- 26:39Speaker 3: Chuck Schumer would not have to report that because the
- 26:42Speaker 3: reporting requirements do not extend to great nephews. Now, I
- 26:45Speaker 3: don't know if Schumer has a great nephew, and I
- 26:48Speaker 3: wouldn't advise giving you a million bucks if he does.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Yeah, but the principle is very queer, and the rule
- 26:53Speaker 2: is very queer.
- 26:55Speaker 3: The rule it is defined by statute. And in this instance,
- 27:00Speaker 3: you've got Harlan Crowe has with Randolph Macon, a support
- 27:03Speaker 3: of the school for years, has paid for scholarships for years,
- 27:06Speaker 3: he knew of a child in need who could benefit
- 27:10Speaker 3: from the school, and he's being painted as a villain
- 27:15Speaker 3: for caring for a child in need.
- 27:21Speaker 2: And this was obviously a pre planned orchestrated smear campaign. Yes,
- 27:26Speaker 2: and they're going after Clarence Thomas. I also think there
- 27:30Speaker 2: are significant racial undertones here. They've been doing this. You
- 27:34Speaker 2: mentioned this and what you said and what we played earlier,
- 27:37Speaker 2: but the racial side of this. They hate Clarence Thomas,
- 27:42Speaker 2: I think honestly because he's an African American man yep,
- 27:46Speaker 2: who has not gone to the little wolk left, and
- 27:49Speaker 2: therefore he's such a big threat they want to be
- 27:52Speaker 2: done with him for that reason as well.
- 27:55Speaker 3: It is a qualitatively different and double standard. And Scalia
- 28:01Speaker 3: was incredibly conservative and yet the left didn't loathe him.
- 28:05Speaker 3: William Rehnquist, my former boss, was incredibly conservative, and yet
- 28:09Speaker 3: the left didn't loathe him the same way that. There
- 28:13Speaker 3: is a unique vitriol that gets piled on Clarence Thomas.
- 28:18Speaker 3: In the left's view, he is not a black man.
- 28:22Speaker 3: He doesn't qualify as a black man. By the way,
- 28:24Speaker 3: in the left's view, I'm not hispanic. If you're not
- 28:27Speaker 3: a leftist, you don't get to be hispanic. Look, we
- 28:30Speaker 3: did an earlier podcast where Don Lemon, before he got
- 28:33Speaker 3: fired for saying idiotic things like this, described how Nicki
- 28:38Speaker 3: Haley was past her prime and he gave nasty, misogynistic
- 28:42Speaker 3: statements about a woman as in her prime in her
- 28:45Speaker 3: twenties or thirties, which is idiotic, but in a certain
- 28:51Speaker 3: leftist logic it made sense because to the hard left
- 28:56Speaker 3: Nicki Haley is not a woman. You don't count in
- 29:00Speaker 3: whatever category you are, whether it's African American or Hispanic
- 29:03Speaker 3: or woman. The left's view is they own you if
- 29:07Speaker 3: you're in any one of those categories, and if you
- 29:10Speaker 3: dare disagree from their ideology, you have lost any right
- 29:16Speaker 3: to fall within that category. And so you know, my
- 29:20Speaker 3: dad who came as a penniless immigrant from Cuba, not
- 29:23Speaker 3: speaking English, Nope, not Hispanic doesn't count. That's their view.
- 29:29Speaker 3: And Clarence Thomas, I don't know that there is an
- 29:33Speaker 3: individual more despised by the left than Clarence Thomas. Donald
- 29:37Speaker 3: Trump is close, and it's a different sort of hatred,
- 29:41Speaker 3: but they might well be running neck and neck.
- 29:44Speaker 2: Yeah, lastly, on this, do you believe they're gonna finally
- 29:48Speaker 2: at least hit the pause button and put this to bed,
- 29:50Speaker 2: or do you expect there to be more attacks in
- 29:52Speaker 2: the coming weeks?
- 29:54Speaker 3: More more more, It is drip, drip, drip. It is funded.
- 29:57Speaker 3: I don't know who's funding it, but someone is putting
- 30:00Speaker 3: serious dollars behind this attack. This is a political campaign.
- 30:04Speaker 3: It's listen. You got to stand up and defend Justice
- 30:07Speaker 3: Thomas because he can't. Justices have no ability that they
- 30:12Speaker 3: don't know how to fight pr fights. They don't have
- 30:15Speaker 3: a press secretary, they don't have staff to do it.
- 30:17Speaker 3: They're literally just sitting there like a pinata getting whacked.
- 30:21Speaker 3: And the people whacking the pinata are are the Democrats,
- 30:25Speaker 3: are the media and all of their cheerleaders. And so
- 30:29Speaker 3: it's got to be the rest of us providing the
- 30:31Speaker 3: truth and the facts to counterbalance this very coordinated and
- 30:36Speaker 3: very well funded attack.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Yeah, no doubt about that, Senata. I want to also
- 30:40Speaker 2: talk about what's happening title. An important statue is going
- 30:45Speaker 2: to expire at the border. We're now hearing that we're
- 30:49Speaker 2: going to have an incredible on sought of illegal immigrants
- 30:52Speaker 2: coming across the border. The National Guard, which is something
- 30:54Speaker 2: that the Democrats said they didn't want to happen and
- 30:56Speaker 2: said it was inhumane and race is to send National
- 31:00Speaker 2: guardsmen now to the border. That's exactly what this White
- 31:02Speaker 2: House is doing. Before we get an update on where
- 31:05Speaker 2: we are there, I want to tell you about our
- 31:06Speaker 2: friends at Patriot Mobile. If you're like me and you're
- 31:09Speaker 2: just sick and tired of giving your money to companies
- 31:11Speaker 2: woke companies that frankly are obsessed with going against your values.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Then take a bill that you have every month and
- 31:21Speaker 2: give it and stand with a conservative Christian company that
- 31:24Speaker 2: actually stands up for what you believe in. For years,
- 31:28Speaker 2: big mobile companies have been dumping millions into leftist causes,
- 31:32Speaker 2: and we didn't have an option. It just didn't exist. Well,
- 31:36Speaker 2: now it does. Patriot Mobile is America's only Christian, conservative

- 31:53Speaker 2: to destroy our country. Now, when you switch to Patriot Mobile,
- 31:57Speaker 2: your dollars every month when you pay your bill will
- 31:59Speaker 2: be used for free speech and religious freedom, the sanctity

- 32:39Speaker 1: Senator.
- 32:40Speaker 2: Let's transition quickly to the border. This has become a
- 32:45Speaker 2: big issue with Title forty two. Some of the latest
- 32:48Speaker 2: statistics that have come out have been brutal for this administration.
- 32:53Speaker 2: When it comes to Title forty two, almost fifty five
- 32:56Speaker 2: thousand border patrol apprehensions, eighteen thousand, six hundred plus that
- 33:00Speaker 2: known got aways in a single week at the border.
- 33:03Speaker 2: There are some of the highest weekly totals that we've
- 33:06Speaker 2: ever seen in Title forty two hasn't even dropped yet.
- 33:09Speaker 2: These are stunning numbers, especially that how many got aways
- 33:14Speaker 2: there were in just a single week. You had agents
- 33:17Speaker 2: that were assaulted, You had fifty four nine U and
- 33:20Speaker 2: fifty one apprehensions, twenty thousand basically got aways, seven hundred
- 33:25Speaker 2: and fourteen thousand dollars, sees one hundred and one pounds
- 33:28Speaker 2: of cocaine, a thousand fifty pounds of marijuana, two thousand
- 33:33Speaker 2: and seven hundred and twenty one pounds of meth one
- 33:36Speaker 2: hundred and thirty eight pounds of fetinyls, sixteen firearms, six
- 33:40Speaker 2: sex offenders in the group that we did catch in
- 33:43Speaker 2: one week, seven gang members. And that's what happened to
- 33:47Speaker 2: the border in one week. And yet this administration continues
- 33:51Speaker 2: to tell the lie that the border is secure.
- 33:54Speaker 1: It's not.
- 33:56Speaker 3: You're exactly right, And the stunning thing is it's fixing
- 34:00Speaker 3: to get worse. We have the worst illegal immigration in
- 34:03Speaker 3: the history of our nation, six and a half million
- 34:06Speaker 3: people across illegally under Joe Biden. All of that is
- 34:09Speaker 3: a direct political decision Joe Biden and Kamala Harris made
- 34:13Speaker 3: and it is about to get worse. On Thursday of
- 34:15Speaker 3: this week, May eleventh, the administration is going to lose
- 34:20Speaker 3: the authority to deport people under Title forty two. Title
- 34:23Speaker 3: forty two was essentially the only legal basis under which
- 34:26Speaker 3: they were deporting anyone. So now it is truly going
- 34:30Speaker 3: to be Katie bar the door anyone who crosses. Guess what,
- 34:32Speaker 3: Joe Biden is your travel agent. Pick a city and
- 34:36Speaker 3: come on in. And you know what. It is so
- 34:39Speaker 3: bad that even the corrupt corporate media is forced to
- 34:44Speaker 3: acknowledge it. Listen to face the nation, describing the crisis
- 34:50Speaker 3: that Joe Biden has created and what's going to happen
- 34:53Speaker 3: when when Title forty two is lifted.
- 34:55Speaker 4: Listen, Margaret, the clock is ticking down on an to
- 35:00Speaker 4: Title forty two, another flashpoint in the immigration debate. But
- 35:04Speaker 4: here on the US Mexico border, it's not just a
- 35:06Speaker 4: policy change. It's the frontlines of a humanitarian crisis. In
- 35:11Speaker 4: South Texas, the Department of Homeland Security says they've encountered
- 35:15Speaker 4: an influx of migrants ahead of Title forty two's and
- 35:19Speaker 4: driven by an uptick in Venezuelan nationals. Still others wade
- 35:23Speaker 4: in Mexico, camped along the Rio Grande River. New Biden
- 35:27Speaker 4: administration guidelines that kick in after May eleventh promised more consequences,
- 35:32Speaker 4: like a one way ticket on ice Air. We watched
- 35:36Speaker 4: as one hundred and thirty three migrants, hands and feet shackled,
- 35:39Speaker 4: boarded a plane back to Guatemala Friday, does said Minnesuela
- 35:46Speaker 4: in Laredo, Texas. This emergency shelter is a welcome reprieve
- 35:50Speaker 4: for many, like twenty nine year old Margerita Habry, who
- 35:53Speaker 4: crossed the US Mexico border pregnant with her five and
- 35:57Speaker 4: three year old daughters back at home in Venezuela. She says,
- 36:01Speaker 4: there is nothing. The mayor of Laredo has declared a
- 36:05Speaker 4: citywide emergency.
- 36:07Speaker 3: The disaster is an eminent disaster. It may not be
- 36:10Speaker 3: here right now, but it's like a hurricane that's coming.
- 36:13Speaker 3: You bored up before the hurricane.
- 36:15Speaker 4: With this week's policy change, US officials expect as many
- 36:18Speaker 4: as ten thousand migrants a day to traverse the US
- 36:22Speaker 4: Mexico border at crossings like the one behind.
- 36:25Speaker 2: Me, Margaret, I mean, Senaer. You listen to this and
- 36:29Speaker 2: they're all saying it. They're all calling it a pandemic
- 36:33Speaker 2: air legislation that is going to expire and then explode
- 36:37Speaker 2: into another type of pandemic.
- 36:39Speaker 3: In essence, it is when even CBS calls it a
- 36:45Speaker 3: humanitarian disaster. That tells you something. When even CBS is
- 36:50Speaker 3: saying what the Biden administration is doing is going to
- 36:54Speaker 3: produce ten thousand people a day. And I got to say, look,
- 36:58Speaker 3: they aired that on the Sunday show on Face the Nation.
- 37:01Speaker 3: The images you see people just homeless, just gathered in
- 37:06Speaker 3: the streets. It is a crisis in South Texas. It
- 37:10Speaker 3: is a crisis that is overwhelming. It's overwhelming the hospitals,
- 37:16Speaker 3: it's overwhelming, the jails, it's overwhelming, the schools, it's overwhelming
- 37:19Speaker 3: the communities center.
- 37:21Speaker 1: Emergency has been to clarnel Passo. I mean that's not normal.
- 37:26Speaker 3: There's a state of emergency in El Paso, there's a
- 37:28Speaker 3: state of emergency in Laredo. There are states of emergencies
- 37:34Speaker 3: up and down our southern border. And the cause of
- 37:37Speaker 3: the emergency is Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and congressional Democrats.
- 37:44Speaker 3: And not only do they affirmatively want this emergencies to exist,
- 37:48Speaker 3: they want it to be worse, and they're deliberately making
- 37:52Speaker 3: decisions to make it worse.
- 37:54Speaker 2: One other question on this is there going to be
- 37:57Speaker 2: hell to pay at some point for this deliberate decision
- 38:01Speaker 2: to have an open border senator. And before I get
- 38:04Speaker 2: you to answer that, let me tell you about my
- 38:05Speaker 2: friends that gusta precious medals. If you have been saving

- 39:32Speaker 2: any accountability? How many illegal immigrants are going to take?
- 39:35Speaker 2: How many criminals is it going to take coming across
- 39:37Speaker 2: the border for my orcis, And he's still out there
- 39:41Speaker 2: lying to the American people. Myorcists is that the border
- 39:45Speaker 2: not long ago or you know his definition of the
- 39:47Speaker 2: border saying this.
- 39:49Speaker 4: The border is not open, it has not been open,
- 39:52Speaker 4: and it will not be open subsequent to May eleventh.
- 39:56Speaker 2: That's just not true. We know that he was lying then,
- 39:59Speaker 2: We always lying. Now more than six point three now
- 40:02Speaker 2: probably six point four million illegal immigrants acrossed the border
- 40:04Speaker 2: since Biden took office.
- 40:06Speaker 1: We gave those stats a moment ago. What happened in
- 40:08Speaker 1: just one week.
- 40:10Speaker 3: Well, within the Biden administration, there are zero consequences for lying.
- 40:14Speaker 3: Mayorcis lies on a daily basis. Kareem Jean Pierre said
- 40:18Speaker 3: that that illegal immigrant illegal immigration had dropped ninety percent
- 40:23Speaker 3: under Joe Biden. That's such a wild, bald faced lie.
- 40:27Speaker 3: I actually wonder if the reporters sitting in the press
- 40:29Speaker 3: briefing room moved because they were afraid lightning was going
- 40:32Speaker 3: to strike her as she was talking and she does
- 40:35Speaker 3: that on a daily basis. And here's what we've learned.
- 40:39Speaker 3: Number One, there are no penalties for lying in the
- 40:41Speaker 3: Biden administration, but number two, you get rewarded. The only
- 40:45Speaker 3: reasonable inference is idi is their job to lie. Like Baghdad,
- 40:50Speaker 3: Bob Sadam Hussein's lying press spokesperson, Mayorcis and Karine Jean
- 40:57Speaker 3: Pierre are sent out every day with the instruction, go
- 41:01Speaker 3: lie because Joe Biden wants you to lie, because the
- 41:04Speaker 3: Democrats in Congress want you to lie, and they're counting
- 41:07Speaker 3: on the dishonest corporate media not to call them on
- 41:12Speaker 3: their lies. Now, there are moments where there're cracks in
- 41:15Speaker 3: the facade and you get things like face the nation
- 41:17Speaker 3: actually admitting there's a humanitarian crisis these guys have caused. Now,
- 41:21Speaker 3: mind you, although CBS acknowledged that they didn't point out
- 41:26Speaker 3: that every word that comes out of the White House
- 41:28Speaker 3: spokespeople's mouths is a lie, there's still no consequences you ask,
- 41:34Speaker 3: will be the consequences to pay. Two groups will determine that.
- 41:38Speaker 3: Number one the House of Representatives. As you know, I
- 41:41Speaker 3: believe we should impeach Alejandro Majorcis. I hope they do
- 41:45Speaker 3: exactly that. Number two, the American people. I think the
- 41:49Speaker 3: real accountability is going to be in November of next year.
- 41:52Speaker 3: And I hope the American people say enough is enough
- 41:54Speaker 3: and throw the bums out, throw Joe Biden out of
- 41:57Speaker 3: the White House, and throw Democrats out of the Senate
- 42:00Speaker 3: in the House, and give us Republican majorities in both.
- 42:03Speaker 3: If we have a Republican president and a Republican Senate,
- 42:06Speaker 3: a Republican House, we can solve this problem. We can
- 42:09Speaker 3: do it fast. And we know we can do that
- 42:12Speaker 3: because we did it before. In twenty twenty, the last
- 42:15Speaker 3: year of the Trump presidency, we have the lowest rate
- 42:18Speaker 3: of illegal immigration in forty five years. We can do
- 42:22Speaker 3: it again. And if the American people want this insanity stopped,
- 42:28Speaker 3: the way to get there is a big, big win
- 42:31Speaker 3: next November.
- 42:32Speaker 1: Yeah, great point. Don't forget.
- 42:33Speaker 2: On Wednesday, everybody, we were going to have Jim Jordan's
- 42:36Speaker 2: our special guests doing a very deep dive into the
- 42:39Speaker 2: Biden crime family and what all they are investigating on
- 42:42Speaker 2: the House side. Hit that subscriber auto dowload button. As
- 42:45Speaker 2: you know, we do the show Monday, Wednesday and Fridays.
- 42:47Speaker 2: Please write a five star review as well. It helps
- 42:49Speaker 2: us reach more people and share this episode anywhere you
- 42:53Speaker 2: are on social media. Senator Cruz and I will see
