Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: The stay of the Union.
- 0:02Speaker 2: It was clear when it happened that Joe Biden was
- 0:06Speaker 2: changing his narrative on Israel. It was obvious that the
- 0:11Speaker 2: president that was standing by Israel was learning that he
- 0:15Speaker 2: needed to change his stance because many voters thirty five
- 0:19Speaker 2: and under who are Democrats, are furious with the President
- 0:24Speaker 2: for standing semi close to Israel. Democrats are also polling
- 0:30Speaker 2: on this issue and realizing that it is unpopular with
- 0:33Speaker 2: the radical Marxist left of their party to stand with Israel.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Many young people in this country who do not understand
- 0:41Speaker 2: the history of Israel because we don't teach it in
- 0:44Speaker 2: our schools anymore, who don't understand World War Two, don't
- 0:47Speaker 2: understand the Holocaust, don't understand Adolf Hitler was even a
- 0:50Speaker 2: bad guy, are sitting there now believing that somehow the
- 0:55Speaker 2: aggressors here Hamas and the Palestinians who butcher killed countless
- 1:01Speaker 2: Jews solely because they were Jews, and are still holding
- 1:05Speaker 2: them hostage, or somehow the bad guys.

- 3:05Speaker 2: Now you look at this on college campuses, you look
- 3:08Speaker 2: at this among young people.
- 3:10Speaker 1: They truly believe that.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Hamas is justified in their actions to kill Jews. They're
- 3:18Speaker 2: the same people in this country that are actually chanting
- 3:22Speaker 2: from the river to the sea. And it's not just
- 3:25Speaker 2: young ignorant people in this country. And yes they are
- 3:28Speaker 2: ignorant for standing with actual terrorists, but it is the
- 3:32Speaker 2: Democratic Party leadership. Now they are looking at an election
- 3:37Speaker 2: where President Joe Biden didn't get the bump that they
- 3:40Speaker 2: wanted after the State of the Union, and so now
- 3:43Speaker 2: they're having to pivot and pander to the Marxists and
- 3:47Speaker 2: the socialists and the communists within their party. Now, I
- 3:51Speaker 2: have said countless times on this show, and I will
- 3:54Speaker 2: continue to say it. I believe the Democratic Party is dead.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Democrats don't exist anymore in the Democratic Party. It is Marxist,
- 4:03Speaker 2: socialists and communists who are masquerading as Democrats, plain and simple.
- 4:09Speaker 2: And what we now have is an older Democratic Party
- 4:13Speaker 2: that is understanding that they believe, or at least they
- 4:16Speaker 2: have an understanding they think that is we must take
- 4:19Speaker 2: our hand off of Israel, and it's time for us
- 4:22Speaker 2: to turn on Israel to placate the younger, woke extremists
- 4:27Speaker 2: in the Democratic Party. You could see this happening, and
- 4:32Speaker 2: I was warning you. I thought this was going to happen,
- 4:35Speaker 2: that this White House was going to be forced by
- 4:38Speaker 2: their own extremists to take their hand off of Israel. Well,
- 4:42Speaker 2: now it has actually happened. NBC News reporting it this
- 4:47Speaker 2: way about the Democratic leadership and the Democrat Senate majority
- 4:51Speaker 2: leaner Chuck Schumer now saying it's time for Israel's Prime
- 4:57Speaker 2: Minister at Yahoo to go. He's not saying them about
- 5:00Speaker 2: the Hamas leadership. He's not saying that about the Palestinians. No,
- 5:05Speaker 2: he's saying it about Israel. And why is he saying
- 5:08Speaker 2: this One simple reason. He believes that he must say
- 5:12Speaker 2: it to make sure that Democrats stay in office and
- 5:18Speaker 2: Joe Biden has a chance of being re elected. Listen
- 5:22Speaker 2: carefully to how NBC News is reporting on this story. Now,
- 5:26Speaker 2: if they were real journalists and being honest, they would
- 5:28Speaker 2: come out and say this, the Democratic Party is now
- 5:32Speaker 2: standing with the terrorist Hamas and the Palestinian radicals. But
- 5:36Speaker 2: that's not how they're going to report this story at all,
- 5:39Speaker 2: because the media is dead and we have government propaganda
- 5:43Speaker 2: now here.
- 5:43Speaker 1: It is.
- 5:46Speaker 3: As Israel targets Hamas in Gaza and the humanitarian crisis grows.
- 5:50Speaker 3: The top Senate Democrat delivering a scathing rebuke of Israeli
- 5:53Speaker 3: Prime Minister Benjamin Nettan Yahoo, saying he needs to be
- 5:57Speaker 3: replaced in new elections.
- 5:59Speaker 4: Prime ministudents Yahoo has lost his way by allowing his
- 6:03Speaker 4: political survival to take the precedence over the best interests
- 6:08Speaker 4: of Israel.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Schumer, the highest ranking Jewish elected official in American history,
- 6:13Speaker 3: laying blame for the war at the feet of Hamas,
- 6:16Speaker 3: but saying that Yahoo is an obstacle to peace.
- 6:19Speaker 4: He has been too willing to tolerate the civilian toll
- 6:22Speaker 4: in Gaza, which is pushing support for Israel worldwide to
- 6:26Speaker 4: historic lows. Israel cannot survive if it becomes a pariah.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Republican leaders slamming the criticism of net Yahoo, who is
- 6:35Speaker 3: also known as Bibe, the democratically elected leader of a
- 6:39Speaker 3: close US ally.
- 6:40Speaker 5: The Democratic Party, doesn't have an anti Bib problem. It
- 6:45Speaker 5: is an anti Israel problem.
- 6:48Speaker 6: It's just plain wrong for an American leader to play
- 6:51Speaker 6: such a divisive role in Israeli politics while our closest
- 6:55Speaker 6: ally in the region is in an existential battle for
- 6:58Speaker 6: its very survival.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Net Yahoo has not responded to Schumer's comments. Meanwhile, President
- 7:04Speaker 3: Biden has criticized Israel's military operations as over the top
- 7:08Speaker 3: and privately complain of Net Yahoo quote giving him hell,
- 7:11Speaker 3: sources told NBC News last month.
- 7:13Speaker 2: He was also caught on that hot mic after the
- 7:16Speaker 2: State of the Union referring to Joe Biden talking about
- 7:19Speaker 2: how he was going to give a talking to two
- 7:22Speaker 2: Net and Yahoo. Now, I want you to understand, and
- 7:26Speaker 2: I still am in shock by this. You noticed in
- 7:30Speaker 2: that report they said that this is the highest ranking
- 7:33Speaker 2: Jewish official in our government.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Schumer's Jewish, but.
- 7:38Speaker 2: He cares more about power than he does apparently about
- 7:42Speaker 2: Jewish people. We wouldn't be having the conversation we're having
- 7:45Speaker 2: right now if it wasn't for Hamas, who's backed by
- 7:48Speaker 2: Iran and the Palestinian leadership, who had no problem helping
- 7:53Speaker 2: support and aid the terrorist attack on innocent men, women,
- 7:58Speaker 2: and children. We wouldn't be having this converse if it
- 8:01Speaker 2: wasn't for a massive nine to eleven style attack on Israel.
- 8:04Speaker 2: We wouldn't be having this conversation. If it wasn't for
- 8:06Speaker 2: the fact that they had taken hostages from infant children
- 8:10Speaker 2: up to elderly individuals in their nineties. We wouldn't be
- 8:14Speaker 2: having this conversation right now if it wasn't for terrorism.
- 8:21Speaker 2: But the Democratic Party is so obsessed with power, and
- 8:25Speaker 2: it shouldn't surprise you look at what they're doing to
- 8:27Speaker 2: Donald Trump to try to keep power. They're willing to
- 8:30Speaker 2: lock up anybody that gets in their way, and even
- 8:33Speaker 2: Chuck Schumer is willing to sell out to keep the
- 8:36Speaker 2: power because they must have. These Marxists and socialists and
- 8:40Speaker 2: communists that are masquerading as Democrats that are their voters
- 8:44Speaker 2: stand beside them on election day and they're looking at
- 8:48Speaker 2: the election and they're looking at the map, and they're
- 8:51Speaker 2: looking at the numbers, and they're saying, Okay, we've got
- 8:53Speaker 2: to shore up our base. And one of the problems
- 8:55Speaker 2: is if we look like we're with Israel, apparently we
- 8:57Speaker 2: lose a bunch of these eighteen to thirty four years voters.
- 9:02Speaker 2: So how do we make sure they're with us? All right,
- 9:04Speaker 2: let's stand with a terrorists, let's stand with ams, and
- 9:06Speaker 2: let's announce that Yahoo who was democratically elected. No one's
- 9:10Speaker 2: saying that the election over there wasn't real or authentic
- 9:13Speaker 2: or free. Benjaminette now, who is clearly the leader of
- 9:16Speaker 2: the people at Israel. Now we'll see what happens after
- 9:20Speaker 2: this ground war and what happens with his future. But honestly,
- 9:24Speaker 2: it's none of our business. They are ally and he
- 9:27Speaker 2: is the leader of that country. They are on They
- 9:30Speaker 2: went on defense right after they were attacked. And when
- 9:35Speaker 2: you were attacked, that way you must take out your enemy.
- 9:37Speaker 2: There's no way to stand there and say, okay, let's
- 9:40Speaker 2: have a truce. It is to beat them into submission.
- 9:44Speaker 2: No different, by the way, than what we did to
- 9:45Speaker 2: al Qaeda, no different than what we did to Isis
- 9:48Speaker 2: or al Shabab or anybody else that's ever challenged us.
- 9:52Speaker 1: It's the same thing.
- 9:54Speaker 2: But who the hell are these Democrats? And I will
- 9:56Speaker 2: say it even in a broader sense, who the hell
- 9:58Speaker 2: are we as a country to tell the people of
- 10:00Speaker 2: Israel they must get rid of their leader who was
- 10:03Speaker 2: duly elected in a free and fair election. You have
- 10:06Speaker 2: to understand, though, this is not really about any of that.
- 10:10Speaker 2: And I agree with what was said by the Senate
- 10:13Speaker 2: Minority Leader, Mitch McConnell. The Democratic Party didn't have a
- 10:16Speaker 2: BB problem. The Democratic Party has an anti Jewish problem,
- 10:21Speaker 2: an anti Israel problem, and that is real in the
- 10:24Speaker 2: Democratic Party. Look at how many Congressmen and how many
- 10:28Speaker 2: Senators have not stood by Israel and have denounced Israel
- 10:32Speaker 2: even after they were attacked, saying they basically deserved it.
- 10:37Speaker 2: I want you to hear what Schumer said, and I
- 10:39Speaker 2: played you a little bit of it a moment ago,
- 10:41Speaker 2: but it was a very short SoundBite, and I think
- 10:43Speaker 2: it's important that you hear Schumer in his own words
- 10:46Speaker 2: from the four of the Senate. This is what he said,
- 10:49Speaker 2: and it was a longer speech. It was about ten
- 10:51Speaker 2: minutes long. But here are three minutes of this speech
- 10:54Speaker 2: that are really core, so that you understand the mentality
- 10:57Speaker 2: of Chuck Schumer, who is Jewish, he is from New York,
- 11:01Speaker 2: He's a Democrat, he is the majority leader.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Listen.
- 11:05Speaker 4: On the Israeli side, the US government should demand that
- 11:10Speaker 4: Israel conduct itself with a future two state solution in mind.
- 11:15Speaker 4: We should not be forced into a position of unequivocally
- 11:18Speaker 4: supporting the actions of an Israeli government that include biggots
- 11:23Speaker 4: who reject the idea of the Palestinian state. Israel is
- 11:28Speaker 4: a democracy. Five months into this conflict, it is clear
- 11:33Speaker 4: that Israelis need to take stock of the situation and
- 11:37Speaker 4: ask must we change course at this critical juncture. I
- 11:44Speaker 4: believe a new election is the only way to allow
- 11:48Speaker 4: for a healthy and open decision making process about the
- 11:52Speaker 4: future of Israel at a time when so many Israelis
- 11:56Speaker 4: have lost their confidence in the vision and direction of
- 12:00Speaker 4: their government. I also believe a majority of the Israeli
- 12:04Speaker 4: public will recognize the need for change, and I believe
- 12:07Speaker 4: that holding a new election once the war starts to
- 12:10Speaker 4: wind down would give Israelis an opportunity to express their
- 12:15Speaker 4: vision for the post war future. Of course, the United
- 12:20Speaker 4: States cannot dictate the outcome of an election, nor should
- 12:25Speaker 4: we try. That is for the Israeli public to decide.
- 12:30Speaker 4: A public that I believe understands better than anybody that
- 12:34Speaker 4: Israel cannot hope to succeed as a pariah opposed by
- 12:38Speaker 4: the rest of the world as a democracy. Israel has
- 12:43Speaker 4: the right to choose its own leaders, and we should
- 12:45Speaker 4: let the chips fall where they may. But the important
- 12:49Speaker 4: thing is that Israelis are given a choice. There needs
- 12:52Speaker 4: to be a fresh debate about the future of Israel
- 12:55Speaker 4: after October seventh. In my opinion, that is best accomplished
- 13:01Speaker 4: by holding an election now. If President net To Prime
- 13:07Speaker 4: Minister Netanyahu's current coalition remains in power after the war
- 13:11Speaker 4: begins to wind down and continues to pursue dangerous and
- 13:15Speaker 4: inflammatory policies that test existing US standards for assistance, then
- 13:20Speaker 4: the United States will have no choice but to play
- 13:23Speaker 4: a more active role in shaping Israeli policy by using
- 13:26Speaker 4: our leverage to change the present course. The United States
- 13:32Speaker 4: bond with Israel is unbreakable. But if extremists continue to
- 13:36Speaker 4: unduly influence Israeli policy. Then the administration should use the
- 13:40Speaker 4: tools at its disposal to make sure our support for
- 13:44Speaker 4: Israel is aligned with our broader goal of achieving long
- 13:47Speaker 4: term peace and stability in the region. I believe this
- 13:51Speaker 4: would make a lasting two two states solution more likely.
- 13:58Speaker 1: I listen to that.
- 13:59Speaker 2: And two things. One I can't believe actually Chuck Schumer
- 14:03Speaker 2: is saying this. It's like he's being held hostage. I'm
- 14:07Speaker 2: not sure I actually believe that he believes any of
- 14:09Speaker 2: what he just said, as a Jewish individual who's been
- 14:13Speaker 2: so pro Israel over his decades of service in the Senate.
- 14:16Speaker 2: And I'm not trying to defend Chuck Schumer. I'm just
- 14:19Speaker 2: pointing out the obvious here. It's like, who the hell
- 14:21Speaker 2: is this guy and where did Chuck Schumer go. I
- 14:25Speaker 2: don't believe that Chuck Schumer actually believes this. I think
- 14:28Speaker 2: this is a man that is being held hostage by
- 14:31Speaker 2: the extremists in the Democratic Party, the Socialist, the Marxist
- 14:35Speaker 2: and the Communists, and he understands that he desperately needs
- 14:39Speaker 2: them to win the next election, so therefore he's willing
- 14:41Speaker 2: to sell out his own people who were butchered and massacred,
- 14:46Speaker 2: children that were stabbed to death in their cribs and
- 14:49Speaker 2: let to bleed out, children who were beheaded, children who
- 14:55Speaker 2: were cooked in ovens for sport, Seniors that were killed
- 15:01Speaker 2: in front, and parents that were killed in front of
- 15:03Speaker 2: their children, and then their children were taking hostage and
- 15:05Speaker 2: then gang raped.
- 15:08Speaker 1: That is who you're siding with here.
- 15:11Speaker 2: And you come out and you say, quote on the
- 15:13Speaker 2: Israel side, the US government should demand the Israel conduct
- 15:16Speaker 2: itself with a future two state solution, and mind, who
- 15:20Speaker 2: the hell are we to sell Israel what to do
- 15:22Speaker 2: right now, especially after what they just went through. And
- 15:26Speaker 2: then you demand, you say, we should not be forced
- 15:30Speaker 2: into a position of unequivocally supporting the actions of an
- 15:34Speaker 2: Israeli government that include biggots who reject the idea of
- 15:37Speaker 2: a Palestinian state. So you're now siding with the terrorists openly. Now,
- 15:45Speaker 2: I do believe there's a lot of people in the
- 15:46Speaker 2: Democratic Party that actually believe this. I have a hard
- 15:50Speaker 2: time buying that Chuck Schumer actually believes this. And I think,
- 15:54Speaker 2: Chuck Schumer, this is a sellout of the most horrific
- 15:58Speaker 2: form I've ever seen in the Democratic Party.
- 15:59Speaker 1: And you know, a lot of sellouts from them.
- 16:02Speaker 2: But even Mitch McConnell came out and said this in
- 16:09Speaker 2: response to what Schumer said, and listened to him because
- 16:13Speaker 2: they know each other well. I think he was even
- 16:16Speaker 2: in shock that Chuck Schumer would would at this point
- 16:19Speaker 2: just sell out and support basically terrorists.
- 16:23Speaker 5: The state of Israel deserves an ally it acts like one.
- 16:30Speaker 5: People of Israel at home and in captivity deserve America's support,
- 16:39Speaker 5: and Israel's unity government and security cabinet deserve the difference
- 16:45Speaker 5: befitting a sovereign, democratic country. The primary obstacles the peace
- 16:53Speaker 5: in Israel's region are genocidal terrorists like i'm As and
- 17:01Speaker 5: Palestinian Islamic jihad whose slaughter innocent people, and corrupt leaders
- 17:10Speaker 5: of the Palestinian authority who have repeatedly, repeatedly rejected peace
- 17:16Speaker 5: deals from multiple Israeli governments. And foreign observers who cannot
- 17:24Speaker 5: keep these clear distinctions ought to refrain from weighing in.
- 17:35Speaker 5: It is grotesque and hypocritical for Americans, who hyperventilate about
- 17:42Speaker 5: foreign interference in our own democracy to call for the
- 17:46Speaker 5: removal of the democratically elected leader of Israel. This is unprecedented.
- 17:54Speaker 5: We should not treat fellow democracies this way at all.
- 18:00Speaker 5: Things that upset left wing activists are not of Prime
- 18:03Speaker 5: Minister's policies. There is Israel's policies. Make no mistake. The
- 18:12Speaker 5: Democratic Party doesn't have an anti BV problem. It has
- 18:16Speaker 5: an anti Israel problem. Israel is not a colony of
- 18:22Speaker 5: America whose leaders serve at the pleasure of the party
- 18:27Speaker 5: in power in Washington. Only Israel's citizens should have a
- 18:33Speaker 5: say and who runs their government. This is the very
- 18:38Speaker 5: definition of democracy and sovereignty. Either we respect their decisions
- 18:45Speaker 5: or we disrespect their democracy.
- 18:52Speaker 2: I am not a big fan of midst McConnell. I
- 18:55Speaker 2: want to make that pretty clear. I criticize him a
- 18:57Speaker 2: lot when he deserves to be criticized. I'm glad that
- 19:00Speaker 2: he's stepping down from leadership. I've said that before, but
- 19:04Speaker 2: I have to tell you that may be one of
- 19:06Speaker 2: the best speeches I've ever heard Mitch McConnell give. It
- 19:10Speaker 2: is one that every one of us should be applauding
- 19:12Speaker 2: and standing behind. He also understands that this is a
- 19:16Speaker 2: moment where you don't screw this one up, and you
- 19:18Speaker 2: make sure you're very clear about what we say as conservatives.
- 19:25Speaker 2: But also I think what we should be saying as Americans,
- 19:30Speaker 2: that's really important that we say the right thing is Americans.
- 19:35Speaker 1: And he's right.
- 19:35Speaker 2: He says Israel deserves a better ally, an all that
- 19:39Speaker 2: acts better than this.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I couldn't agree more.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Israel does deserve an ally, an ally that agrees that
- 19:49Speaker 2: expects more. And I am glad now that the American
- 19:55Speaker 2: people are seeing just how radical the Democratic Party is.
- 19:58Speaker 2: It's why I say they're dead. The Democratic Party has died.
- 20:02Speaker 2: They are being controlled and operated by Marxists and socialists
- 20:07Speaker 2: and radicals who do not believe in democracy, who do
- 20:11Speaker 2: not believe in free speech, who do not believe in
- 20:15Speaker 2: the sanctity of life, who do not believe in right
- 20:18Speaker 2: and wrong. They believe in none of that. Never ever
- 20:22Speaker 2: forget that. I also want you to hear my conversation
- 20:27Speaker 2: that I had with my co host senter Ted Cruse.
- 20:30Speaker 2: I get to host a show with him, Vertic with
- 20:32Speaker 2: Tech Cruse. We had a long conversation about Israel and
- 20:35Speaker 2: about the Senate and about what's happening in Washington, d C.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Not only by Mitch McConnell, but also what was said
- 20:43Speaker 2: by Chuck Schumer. And I want you to hear part
- 20:46Speaker 2: of what he had to say to me when we
- 20:49Speaker 2: were talking about this. If you want to hear the
- 20:50Speaker 2: entire thing, download vertic with Ted Cruz and you can
- 20:53Speaker 2: hear it in its entirety. But this is a couple
- 20:55Speaker 2: of points that he made that I thought were really important.
- 20:58Speaker 1: I want to play for you. Take a look, Senator.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Let's talk about the backdrop for what Schumer said and
- 21:05Speaker 2: why this timing is so significant. I think it has
- 21:09Speaker 2: a lot to do with the state of the Union.
- 21:10Speaker 2: I really want your opinion on that. It was pretty
- 21:13Speaker 2: clear that the President was kind of changing a little
- 21:16Speaker 2: bit his perspective and his words on Israel. He was
- 21:20Speaker 2: also caught on a hot mic that we talked about
- 21:22Speaker 2: here on Verdict as well. And as I watched Chuck
- 21:26Speaker 2: Schumer say these words on the flour of the Senate yesterday,
- 21:31Speaker 2: there was honestly a part of me that I'm like,
- 21:33Speaker 2: I'm not even sure Chuck Schumer believes this, and I
- 21:35Speaker 2: want your take on that. Maybe he really does, but
- 21:38Speaker 2: it was almost like it was a decision made within
- 21:41Speaker 2: the Democratic Party. Okay, we got to get people younger,
- 21:44Speaker 2: and a lot of the radicals of the Democratic Party.
- 21:47Speaker 2: The Socialists and the Marxists and the Communists. They hate Israel.
- 21:51Speaker 2: They support Hamas and the Palestinians. They believe that Israel
- 21:56Speaker 2: is evil. So let's placate to them. I'll go give
- 21:59Speaker 2: this speed that I would have never given before, and
- 22:02Speaker 2: maybe that'll get them back in an excitement to vote
- 22:06Speaker 2: for us. Is there a possibility that could have been
- 22:09Speaker 2: part of what this is about just straight up selling out?
- 22:11Speaker 2: Or do you believe he actually believes what he's saying
- 22:13Speaker 2: about getting rid of net Yahoo?
- 22:14Speaker 7: Well, I think there's several things that are going on. Yes,
- 22:17Speaker 7: I believe what I believe he believes what he's saying.
- 22:20Speaker 7: The Democrats have hated net Yahoo from the beginning. They
- 22:24Speaker 7: despise him, they view him. Democrats view Netan Yahoo as
- 22:28Speaker 7: the Israeli equivalent of Donald Trump, and they hate him
- 22:32Speaker 7: with a comparable fury. And much of that stems back
- 22:36Speaker 7: to when Barack Obama was president and Obama pushed forward
- 22:41Speaker 7: the catastrophic Iran nuclear deal, and they tried to muscle
- 22:47Speaker 7: all of our allies into accepting it, and the Obama
- 22:50Speaker 7: white House tried to muscle Congressional Democrats into accepting it.
- 22:55Speaker 7: Virtually every single congressional Democrat meekly knuckled under to the
- 23:00Speaker 7: Obama White House's pressure, and Benjamin netanya who heroically stood
- 23:05Speaker 7: up and said, this is an existential threat to Israel,
- 23:08Speaker 7: that when the iatola says death to Israel, a nuclear
- 23:12Speaker 7: Iran poses a very real threat of a mushroom cloud
- 23:17Speaker 7: over Tehran or Jerusalem. And it is the one threat
- 23:21Speaker 7: on the face of the planet capable of once again
- 23:24Speaker 7: murdering six million Jews if never again is to mean anything.
- 23:28Speaker 7: Netnya who argued rightly, we cannot allow Iran to have
- 23:32Speaker 7: a nuclear weapon. And I'll tell you Democrats have never
- 23:36Speaker 7: forgiven him for daring to stand up to the Obama
- 23:40Speaker 7: White House. And I remember at the time there was
- 23:44Speaker 7: a Republican House Representatives that invited Benjamin Netanyah who to
- 23:49Speaker 7: speak to address a joint session of Congress. I was there.
- 23:52Speaker 7: I heard that speech. It was an historic speech. It
- 23:56Speaker 7: was a speech that I described then and I still
- 23:58Speaker 7: consider to be Churchileian in terms of its clarity, in
- 24:02Speaker 7: terms of its strength, in terms of its unwillingness to
- 24:05Speaker 7: knuckle under. And yet even back then, multiple Democrats boycotted
- 24:10Speaker 7: the speech, refused even to listen to the elected Prime
- 24:15Speaker 7: Minister of Israel. Well, that hatred is real. That's one
- 24:19Speaker 7: thing that's going on. But then a second thing that's
- 24:21Speaker 7: going on that is in many ways even more concerning,
- 24:25Speaker 7: is the Democrat Party, day by day by day, is
- 24:29Speaker 7: turning against Israel. If you look at polling numbers now
- 24:32Speaker 7: among Democrats, if you ask Democrats whom do you support,
- 24:35Speaker 7: Israel or the Palestinians, The numbers are growing every single
- 24:40Speaker 7: day of Democrats who say, we're with the Palestinians. And
- 24:45Speaker 7: here's the dirty little secret. Some people are saying, well,
- 24:48Speaker 7: it's just the squad, it's just the radical anti Semites
- 24:52Speaker 7: on the far left of the Democrat Party. They're the
- 24:54Speaker 7: ones doing it. And the crazies on college campuses. I'll
- 24:58Speaker 7: tell you, Bennett's a lot more concerning than that. It
- 25:00Speaker 7: is the Biden Whitehouse. It is Chuck Schumer, the self
- 25:05Speaker 7: declared guardian of Israel, who is the median of the
- 25:10Speaker 7: Democratic Party, is steadily turning against Israel. Here just play
- 25:14Speaker 7: Schumer's comments on the floor yesterday.
- 25:18Speaker 4: Israeli side, the US government should demand that Israel conduct
- 25:24Speaker 4: itself with a future two state solution in mind. We
- 25:27Speaker 4: should not be forced into a position of unequivocally supporting
- 25:31Speaker 4: the actions of an Israeli government that include biggots who
- 25:35Speaker 4: reject the idea of a Palestinian state. Israel is a democracy.
- 25:42Speaker 4: Five months into this conflict, it is clear that Israelis
- 25:46Speaker 4: need to take stock of the situation and ask must
- 25:50Speaker 4: we change course at this critical juncture. I believe a
- 25:56Speaker 4: new election is the only way to allow for a
- 26:00Speaker 4: healthy and open decision making process about the future of
- 26:04Speaker 4: Israel at a time when so many Israelis have lost
- 26:08Speaker 4: their confidence in the vision and direction of their government.
- 26:13Speaker 4: I also believe a majority of the Israeli public will
- 26:16Speaker 4: recognize the need for change, and I believe that holding
- 26:19Speaker 4: a new election once the war starts to wind down
- 26:23Speaker 4: would give Israelis an opportunity to express their vision for
- 26:28Speaker 4: the post war future.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Of course, the.
- 26:32Speaker 4: United States cannot dictate the outcome of an election, nor
- 26:36Speaker 4: should we try. That is for the Israeli public to decide.
- 26:42Speaker 4: A public that I believe understands better than anybody that
- 26:46Speaker 4: Israel cannot hope to succeed as a pariah opposed by
- 26:50Speaker 4: the rest of the world. As a democracy, Israel has
- 26:55Speaker 4: the right to choose its own leaders, and we should
- 26:58Speaker 4: let the chips fall where they may. But the important
- 27:01Speaker 4: thing is that Israelis are given a choice. There needs
- 27:05Speaker 4: to be a fresh debate about the future of Israel
- 27:08Speaker 4: after October seventh. In my opinion, that is best accomplished
- 27:14Speaker 4: by holding an election. If President Prime Minister Netanyahu's current
- 27:20Speaker 4: coalition remains in power after the war begins to wind
- 27:23Speaker 4: down and continues to pursue dangerous and inflammatory policies that
- 27:28Speaker 4: tests existing US standards for assistance, then the United States
- 27:32Speaker 4: will have no choice but to play a more active
- 27:35Speaker 4: role in shaping Israeli policy by using our leverage to
- 27:39Speaker 4: change the present course. The United States bond with Israel
- 27:44Speaker 4: as unbreakable. But if extremists continue to unduly influence Israeli policy,
- 27:50Speaker 4: then the administration should use the tools at its disposal
- 27:54Speaker 4: to make sure our support for Israel is aligned with
- 27:56Speaker 4: our broader goal of achieving long term peace instead ability
- 28:00Speaker 4: in the region. I believe this would make a lasting
- 28:04Speaker 4: two saints, two state solution more likely.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Senator, you hear that.
- 28:09Speaker 2: I mean he's basically giving the talking points for the
- 28:12Speaker 2: Palestinian in hamas.
- 28:14Speaker 7: Well, he's giving the talking points for the left wing
- 28:18Speaker 7: of the Democrat party, and all, let's stop for a
- 28:22Speaker 7: second once one line that Schumer says there. He says,
- 28:27Speaker 7: Israel is a democracy, and that's true, and he says
- 28:31Speaker 7: they need to have an election. Well, they did have
- 28:33Speaker 7: an election. They had an election and Benjamin Netanyahu was elected.
- 28:38Speaker 7: He's the elected leader. How would Schumer feel if net
- 28:45Speaker 7: Yahoo gave a speech and said America is a democracy
- 28:50Speaker 7: and they should call an election today to determine if
- 28:52Speaker 7: Joe Biden should still be president. That's what Schumer just said,
- 28:57Speaker 7: that he doesn't give a damn who the people of
- 29:00Speaker 7: Israel elected. Net Yaho was elected in a far and
- 29:03Speaker 7: square election. Nobody disputes that. It's just Chuck Schumer and
- 29:08Speaker 7: the rest of the Democrat Party doesn't like the choice
- 29:13Speaker 7: that the people of Israel made. And there is an
- 29:17Speaker 7: arrogance to if you listen to what he says. He
- 29:20Speaker 7: says there should be an immediate election. And then he says,
- 29:24Speaker 7: if they elect net Yahoo again after we, the Democrats,
- 29:28Speaker 7: have told them not to, well then we should use
- 29:32Speaker 7: us power to force them to change their policy. The
- 29:37Speaker 7: absolute arrogance of that is stunning. And by the way,
- 29:42Speaker 7: you know, some people pretend, well Democrats, they just dislike
- 29:50Speaker 7: Netan Yahoo, this is not directed at Israel. Well, Benny Gantz,
- 29:56Speaker 7: from the opposing party in Israel, he put out a
- 29:58Speaker 7: statement yesterday. Here was Benny Gantz's statement quote, the United
- 30:03Speaker 7: States and Israel share common values and interests, and the
- 30:05Speaker 7: citizens of Israel profoundly cherish the clear stance of the
- 30:09Speaker 7: United States and support of Israel throughout these trying times.
- 30:13Speaker 7: The Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is a friend of Israel,
- 30:17Speaker 7: and though he aired in his remarks, plays an important
- 30:20Speaker 7: role in assisting the state of Israel, including during these
- 30:24Speaker 7: difficult times. Israel is a robust democracy and only its
- 30:29Speaker 7: citizens will decide its future and leadership. Any external interference
- 30:34Speaker 7: on the matter is counterproductive and unacceptable. Well what do
- 30:39Speaker 7: you think Schumer was doing right there? That's counterproductive and unacceptable.
- 30:43Speaker 7: And so I mean that demonstrates Look across the leadership
- 30:46Speaker 7: in Israel, there is consensus that Israel must defeat hamas
- 30:53Speaker 7: you know, where there isn't consensus in the Democrat Party.
- 30:57Speaker 7: In the Democrat Party, and I got to say, look,
- 30:59Speaker 7: I serve with these guys. I'm on the Senate Foreign
- 31:01Speaker 7: Relations Committee. When we have a hearing, almost every Democrat
- 31:05Speaker 7: all they go on and on about is Gaza. We've
- 31:09Speaker 7: got to save Gaza. We've got to give relief to Gaza.
- 31:12Speaker 7: It's as if October seventh didn't happen. Understand where these
- 31:16Speaker 7: Democrats are. October seventh was a grotesque act of terrorism
- 31:21Speaker 7: where Hamas terrorists murdered over twelve hundred people. They raped
- 31:25Speaker 7: and murdered children, They took over two hundred hostages. It
- 31:30Speaker 7: was the single worst mass murder of Jews since the Holocaust,
- 31:34Speaker 7: and the reaction of the American Democrat Party is to
- 31:37Speaker 7: pivot hard against Israel and want to reward Hamas and
- 31:44Speaker 7: their sponsored the nation of Iran for committing that grotesque
- 31:48Speaker 7: act of terror.
