- 0:15Speaker 1: million things in the cove me true good guy listening
- 0:24Speaker 1: to other stole, I don't join join me. You gotta

- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn You haven't got to turn them out to turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: turn the water the water go. Come come on your
- 1:59Speaker 1: bad I shall will I good morning everybody. You are
- 2:05Speaker 1: listening to the voice, come on dig me now one
- 2:08Speaker 1: it only Steve Harvey got a radio show? Man. I
- 2:14Speaker 1: love it when I run up into people and they
- 2:16Speaker 1: say that to me. They say, hey, Steve Harvey got
- 2:18Speaker 1: a radio show. Then they wink at man, I know
- 2:21Speaker 1: they're listening. You know. I got a lot off my
- 2:23Speaker 1: chest yesterday. I wanted to clear some things up. And
- 2:25Speaker 1: I appreciate y'all giving me a minute, because sometimes you know,
- 2:29Speaker 1: you just gotta say some things out loud. Not complaining,
- 2:32Speaker 1: but hey, just verbalizing, but realizing that I gotta keep
- 2:36Speaker 1: going anyway. And that's my words this morning to you,
- 2:42Speaker 1: that I want you to keep pushing no matter what happens.
- 2:48Speaker 1: I want to share something with you that's important. That's very,
- 2:52Speaker 1: very important. See, you have to give God something too,
- 2:57Speaker 1: bless you know, if your prayer is asking for God's blessings,
- 3:04Speaker 1: you got to give him something to work with. Now,
- 3:09Speaker 1: you know, you gotta show the spirit of appreciation or gratitude.
- 3:15Speaker 1: You gotta let him know that you're in it for
- 3:17Speaker 1: the long haul. No matter what happens. Don't turn around.
- 3:25Speaker 1: You will never ever see what the end could be.
- 3:30Speaker 1: If you turn around and go back, You'll never know
- 3:34Speaker 1: what the end could have been had you stuck it out.
- 3:38Speaker 1: You'll never know how good it could have gotten had
- 3:44Speaker 1: you not just weathered the storm. That's the thing that
- 3:49Speaker 1: gets most people. They get tough for them, It get
- 3:55Speaker 1: hard for them, and then they let doubts set in,
- 3:57Speaker 1: and then those doubts become fat and the next thing
- 4:01Speaker 1: you know, they give up. Had you not given up,
- 4:06Speaker 1: or had you given your best, what the results or
- 4:08Speaker 1: outcome could have been. I look back on my life
- 4:12Speaker 1: on so many occasions where in college I wasn't giving
- 4:17Speaker 1: my best. Now I flunked out. Now it's easy to
- 4:23Speaker 1: look at my life nine go yeah, but look at
- 4:25Speaker 1: you now. But back then, man, it cost me for
- 4:30Speaker 1: so many years that failing to finish that not giving
- 4:36Speaker 1: my all. It cost me a number of years. I
- 4:42Speaker 1: wish I could say that it didn't mean nothing, that
- 4:45Speaker 1: it was just a blimp on the radar screen screen,
- 4:47Speaker 1: but at the time it was major. And so you
- 4:50Speaker 1: have a lot of decisions in your life that are
- 4:53Speaker 1: happening now. You may be in your twenties, your late teens,
- 4:57Speaker 1: you could be in your early thirties, and it's happening.
- 5:00Speaker 1: But guess what you'll eventually get through it provided one
- 5:05Speaker 1: thing you never give up. You never turn around and
- 5:09Speaker 1: go back. Had I written myself off because of one failure, see,
- 5:15Speaker 1: and this is where so many people go but go
- 5:17Speaker 1: wrong at two. You write yourself off after you failed
- 5:20Speaker 1: at something, the one thing you thought you wanted to accomplish,
- 5:25Speaker 1: and you failed at it. Now you write yourself as
- 5:28Speaker 1: a failure. Now you go settle on end to life
- 5:31Speaker 1: and just see what See what hand you get had
- 5:35Speaker 1: when I flunked out of college, had I written myself
- 5:38Speaker 1: off as a failure, I wouldn't be here today. When
- 5:41Speaker 1: I lost my carpet cleaning company, I would have written
- 5:45Speaker 1: myself as a failure. And I wouldn't be here today
- 5:48Speaker 1: when I didn't become a diamond distributed in Amway or
- 5:52Speaker 1: a direct distributor in am Way, even I would have
- 5:55Speaker 1: written myself as a failure and I wouldn't be here today.
- 6:01Speaker 1: When I bought a distribution kit to become a distributor
- 6:04Speaker 1: of the Bohemian Diet and I didn't make it, I
- 6:10Speaker 1: would have written myself as a failure. When I became
- 6:12Speaker 1: an Al Williams distributor and I didn't make it, I
- 6:15Speaker 1: would have written myself as a failure, and I wouldn't
- 6:18Speaker 1: be here today. Oh, I gotta list for you. When
- 6:22Speaker 1: I got laid off it for a motor company, had
- 6:25Speaker 1: I written myself as a failure, I wouldn't have made it.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Do you need some more? Because I have a story
- 6:35Speaker 1: filled with mishaps. I have a story filled with failures.
- 6:41Speaker 1: A couple of things now, the grace of God and
- 6:45Speaker 1: his mercy which is available to us all. See that's
- 6:48Speaker 1: the key, y'all, Because of his mercy, because of his
- 6:53Speaker 1: willingness to forgive and to even understand why we do
- 7:00Speaker 1: the things we do. In all of my shortcomings, failed
- 7:06Speaker 1: marriages I'm talking about, man got it all wrong. Can't
- 7:11Speaker 1: blame nobody else, It's just me. Steve ain't have it
- 7:15Speaker 1: together at that point in life. I could have ridden
- 7:19Speaker 1: myself as a failure the first time I could. I
- 7:23Speaker 1: just could have gave up on it after the second one.
- 7:27Speaker 1: And please know that this is an admission. This ain't bragging.
- 7:30Speaker 1: So before you start in with me, understand what I'm saying.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I'm pointing out in my life a series of missteps
- 7:39Speaker 1: and failures. But how I still get here today A
- 7:45Speaker 1: couple of things. God's grace and mercy is first. But
- 7:52Speaker 1: that's the key that's for everybody see if it's God's
- 7:56Speaker 1: willingness to forgive you and God's understanding of why we
- 8:01Speaker 1: do what we do because He's said we wasn't gonna
- 8:04Speaker 1: be perfect. So in all of your imperfections, your creator
- 8:09Speaker 1: told you you would not be perfect. He's sad it
- 8:12Speaker 1: to you. It's out there. I don't care which one
- 8:15Speaker 1: of the books you read, it tells you that. So
- 8:20Speaker 1: guess what With that in mind, he has a grace
- 8:24Speaker 1: that he has. It's like a grace period. It's like
- 8:27Speaker 1: when you don't pay your insurance premium on the day
- 8:31Speaker 1: that is due. The next day, they don't just cancel
- 8:33Speaker 1: your insurance premium. They have a grace period because they
- 8:38Speaker 1: ain't trying to stop this money from coming in. But
- 8:42Speaker 1: when it comes to God, there's no money required. He
- 8:45Speaker 1: just gives you the grace freely. It don't cost you nothing. See,
- 8:49Speaker 1: you got to tap into that, y'all. You gotta get
- 8:52Speaker 1: in touch with that, because that's an important part to
- 8:54Speaker 1: making it understanding that His grace is available. So when
- 8:58Speaker 1: you make a mistake, So when you fail at it,
- 9:03Speaker 1: he has a loophole in the contract with him that
- 9:06Speaker 1: allows you to make mistakes, that allows you to get
- 9:10Speaker 1: it wrong, that allows you to fail time and time
- 9:13Speaker 1: and time again. But if you never give up, if
- 9:16Speaker 1: you keep getting up, if you keep trying, if you
- 9:19Speaker 1: keep striving, if you keep making the effort to go
- 9:23Speaker 1: forward and not go back, God has a blessing for you,
- 9:28Speaker 1: and He has it in abundance for you, and God
- 9:31Speaker 1: will give it to you at the right time. But
- 9:34Speaker 1: you got to be ready. Oh, I want it to
- 9:38Speaker 1: be successful. But if he had given it to me
- 9:41Speaker 1: back then, I wouldn't have handled it correctly because I
- 9:44Speaker 1: would have made some more mistakes along the way. So
- 9:49Speaker 1: you make the mistakes to learn the lessons. Lord. They
- 9:53Speaker 1: ain't God been good to me, I ain't gonna lie
- 9:55Speaker 1: to you. Cool. You're listening show. Ladies and gentlemen, we
- 10:03Speaker 1: are here. It is the Steve Harvey Morning Show, US
- 10:05Speaker 1: morning Time. It's a Monday morning. I got fun. I'm

- 10:16Speaker 1: lot off my mind. I'm settled, I'm upset, I'm restless,

- 11:02Speaker 1: ain't here today. Shout out to Dallas. Yeah he can
- 11:11Speaker 1: run a sprint, but five k though, took his little
- 11:15Speaker 1: young ass out. Yeah. We're he ain't here though, so
- 11:26Speaker 1: I'm just saying he ain't here. He might be fine, well,
- 11:31Speaker 1: you know, okay, just just just so happens. That is,
- 11:35Speaker 1: he didn't say he wasn't coming today. He did not
- 11:39Speaker 1: say that, and so I'm just to run. See. You know,
- 11:44Speaker 1: it's like, you know, I have a Steve Harvey, you know,
- 11:49Speaker 1: golf tournament, but I ain't the best golfer out there.
- 11:51Speaker 1: So I just played the game I can play. See.
- 11:54Speaker 1: You know, So when you do the five K run,
- 11:56Speaker 1: you know, out there trying to beat the African, you know,
- 12:03Speaker 1: you know, sit your little half sicker hands down somewhere. Yeah,
- 12:06Speaker 1: you know, y'all like that, trying to trying to be
- 12:08Speaker 1: a front run all out on your toes on the
- 12:10Speaker 1: first half k. Well it's four to half lord e.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Now you know that got your little heart busted open.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Now you know, threw yourself into I don't know what

- 12:33Speaker 1: got we're gonna call all the hospitals and see anyway,
- 12:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna just gonna get I'm gonna prepare myself for
- 12:44Speaker 1: that call. It's good here in Dallas. You want to
- 12:46Speaker 1: hear that it's hot. We're good. Yeah, yeah, you know,
- 12:50Speaker 1: too much of anything. Though, I was gonna ask you
- 12:57Speaker 1: about your weekend. How was it? You're all these things
- 13:00Speaker 1: as you talked about where I'm on weekend? Was gotta
- 13:03Speaker 1: go backstart taping off few today so you know it's
- 13:08Speaker 1: over with. Got to go to work now. Yeah, we
- 13:12Speaker 1: watched Celebrity Family Few last night. Per me cheese blue cheese.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Though for those people who might be just joining us,
- 13:28Speaker 1: why do they call you blue cheese? Because I'd be
- 13:31Speaker 1: dressing coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour.
- 13:37Speaker 1: We'll do as the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey
- 13:41Speaker 1: in the building right after this. You're listening to the
- 13:44Speaker 1: Steven Show. All right now, guys, it is time for
- 13:48Speaker 1: asked the CLO with our Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey,
- 13:53Speaker 1: who is ready for Salim in New York. Salim writes,
- 13:58Speaker 1: I am a forty nine year old married man and
- 14:00Speaker 1: I've had a side chick for a few years and
- 14:02Speaker 1: she lives next door. My girlfriend and my wife are
- 14:06Speaker 1: close and take turns picking our children up from school.
- 14:11Speaker 1: I sneak over to help my girlfriend do things around
- 14:13Speaker 1: the house, and I make sure she's pleased in every
- 14:16Speaker 1: way possible. The problem is her six year old son
- 14:21Speaker 1: saw us kissing and then told my son that I'm
- 14:25Speaker 1: kind of like his daddy now too. How should we
- 14:28Speaker 1: handle this? Wait a minute, what do you mean? How
- 14:32Speaker 1: should we heady? Who? Who is we? Him? And in
- 14:37Speaker 1: the side chick and the next hold of dog, hold
- 14:41Speaker 1: of dog? Dog. Listen to me, This ain't help problem.
- 14:45Speaker 1: This your problem. See you to want this man? See
- 14:51Speaker 1: this is this? You have a You have a set
- 14:53Speaker 1: of circumstances that's uniquely to you. She the side chick
- 14:59Speaker 1: and nowhere she the other woman. She ain't married. All
- 15:04Speaker 1: this could be gravy to her. She could just be thinking,
- 15:08Speaker 1: well you find to just come stay next dough now.
- 15:11Speaker 1: See she don't have a problem. You have. You had
- 15:14Speaker 1: a problem. But the next time you shut your eyes
- 15:16Speaker 1: could be the last time you shut your eye. See
- 15:19Speaker 1: this is the problem you got, partner, So John, how
- 15:22Speaker 1: should we handled it? Now? For two years you've been
- 15:27Speaker 1: over there kissing on this woman in the six year
- 15:29Speaker 1: old and seen it that he'd told your boy, your
- 15:32Speaker 1: daddy kind of like my daddy too. Now hopefully he
- 15:35Speaker 1: don't go into why he thank you his daddy, And
- 15:39Speaker 1: maybe it's just because y'all picking him up and you
- 15:41Speaker 1: help out round the house. Maybe that's how you're gonna
- 15:44Speaker 1: do it. I don't know what to tell you. What's
- 15:46Speaker 1: his name? New York Selim. I don't know what to
- 15:50Speaker 1: tell you. Man that damn yeah, hell no, that ain't
- 15:58Speaker 1: ain't no man names Lean and hit late farty, right fellow.
- 16:07Speaker 1: We're moving on to Terry and Phoenix, who says, I'm
- 16:10Speaker 1: a fifty one year old single female and I'm having
- 16:12Speaker 1: an affair with a married man that I met at
- 16:15Speaker 1: a jazz festival in Kosamel. I have always dated and
- 16:19Speaker 1: attracted married men because I offer the great sex they
- 16:22Speaker 1: need without the nagging and NonStop talking and negativity. I
- 16:28Speaker 1: am their peace. I want to start a counseling business
- 16:31Speaker 1: to nurture married couples, mainly the wives, to help tell
- 16:36Speaker 1: them how to keep their husbands from women like me.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Is there any advice you can offer on how I
- 16:41Speaker 1: should market my business and get it started? Really though,
- 16:47Speaker 1: I ain't know Riddy to live experts. She wants to
- 16:53Speaker 1: capitalize of her strength. Well, you could open up a
- 16:58Speaker 1: company call old co Ho c O, Stan Dash Ho
- 17:07Speaker 1: c O and you can open that up and just
- 17:10Speaker 1: say it just like it is itself, explain it to
- 17:13Speaker 1: her and our whole COO is a company that teaches
- 17:17Speaker 1: women how to watch out for women like me and
- 17:22Speaker 1: keep your man happy. And if you don't the CO
- 17:26Speaker 1: stands for company company. In the first I whole the
- 17:30Speaker 1: whole co company. And then if you don't listen to
- 17:34Speaker 1: what you got to say that I whole co stunt
- 17:37Speaker 1: and the CO stands for come c O m E.
- 17:40Speaker 1: That means I, I whole company me that means here
- 17:43Speaker 1: I come. And then so if you don't, you know,
- 17:47Speaker 1: take your business at the house, then here I come, here, here,
- 17:53Speaker 1: I whole come, I whole come. And then if you're
- 17:56Speaker 1: listening to me, then it's the I whole company. But
- 17:59Speaker 1: if you don't listen to me and what I'm trying
- 18:01Speaker 1: to tell you about people like me, and if you
- 18:03Speaker 1: don't listen to me, then here I whole come. And
- 18:08Speaker 1: then and then this said self explanatory. You know, I
- 18:11Speaker 1: don't know why you thank you. All that fabulous, But
- 18:14Speaker 1: you know, at the end of the day, you have
- 18:16Speaker 1: nothing to really tell you truth about you ain't peace.
- 18:19Speaker 1: That's all it is a peace. They ain't peace. And
- 18:22Speaker 1: all you get is a peace, and all you will
- 18:23Speaker 1: level be as a peace. So congratulations on being a peace.
- 18:27Speaker 1: But in a minute, your old ass gonna want to
- 18:29Speaker 1: be something else. But ain't nobody gonna want an old
- 18:31Speaker 1: ass peace? Well, here I come home, but I say
- 18:37Speaker 1: it right around. I'm sorry, No, it's I whole come Oh,
- 18:40Speaker 1: you said it all right. DM in Hampton, Virginia says,
- 18:44Speaker 1: I'm a twenty four year old recent graduate and my
- 18:47Speaker 1: boyfriend as a senior in college and just became a
- 18:49Speaker 1: member of one of the biggest fraternities on campus. Before
- 18:53Speaker 1: I met him in college, I was one of the
- 18:55Speaker 1: sweethearts to his fraternity and I slept with two the
- 19:00Speaker 1: guys that pledged him, and they have a nickname for me.
- 19:03Speaker 1: I haven't seen them since I graduated, so I don't
- 19:07Speaker 1: think they know my boyfriend and I are dating. Should
- 19:10Speaker 1: I tell him about my nickname? She didn't put her
- 19:13Speaker 1: name in there. It's bunny. I know, it's funny. What
- 19:19Speaker 1: is it this nickname you got him till let's come
- 19:22Speaker 1: soon as you hear the self explanatory. See, so you know,
- 19:27Speaker 1: I don't know what to tell your young sister. All
- 19:31Speaker 1: of our passes have a tendency to surface from time
- 19:34Speaker 1: to time. If I were you, I would just stay quiet.
- 19:38Speaker 1: I think when the brothers find out that he's dating you,
- 19:42Speaker 1: and they find out your close brothers might just keep
- 19:45Speaker 1: it to their self. They might if they cap us
- 19:49Speaker 1: they not up. But what do the the Sigmas do? Jake, See,
- 19:59Speaker 1: you won't be two of us. There just won't be
- 20:02Speaker 1: but two of us, so spread that far. So yeah,
- 20:08Speaker 1: and I know getting here well that Kappas ain't gonna
- 20:10Speaker 1: keep it, and I'm just gonna go out on the limb.
- 20:13Speaker 1: Just the brus accused it once. If they start drinking,
- 20:17Speaker 1: they're gonna tell it too, so they're gonna see it. Yeah,
- 20:20Speaker 1: you're pretty much done. Oh day. I think she should
- 20:26Speaker 1: tell him about the nickname, no, because then he gonna
- 20:29Speaker 1: feel some kind of way. I would say, leave it
- 20:31Speaker 1: alone and let your bygones be got bygones until somebody
- 20:35Speaker 1: bring it up. And then and then when they bring
- 20:38Speaker 1: it up, didn't I yeh didn I deny it, deny it,
- 20:45Speaker 1: all right, Uh, thank you? Coming up now this church
- 20:49Speaker 1: complaints with Rebend Motown and digging depth Jam. Right after
- 20:52Speaker 1: this You're listening show coming up at the top of
- 20:57Speaker 1: the hour. Miss Hannah's standing by with her national news
- 21:00Speaker 1: and we'll have today's entertainment news as well. But right
- 21:03Speaker 1: now it is Monday, so you know what that means.
- 21:05Speaker 1: It is time for church complaints with Reverend Motown and
- 21:08Speaker 1: Deacon death Jam. We we go farward, we pupetitate as
- 21:22Speaker 1: we come to be immolations of a great of our
- 21:28Speaker 1: carrion of the situation. We pop postumously, Wait a minute,
- 21:37Speaker 1: pop postumously, go gatheration over Hamilton's of Hamilton's illusions. Let
- 21:54Speaker 1: us begin with complaints. Oh lord, I'm preaching to day deacon.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Go ahead, all right, pastor when first of all, we
- 22:04Speaker 1: are back, the church is officially reopened, and there's a
- 22:08Speaker 1: lot of things happening at one time. Now, do you
- 22:10Speaker 1: want to quiet a scene with the mask on at
- 22:13Speaker 1: a mask out that they're asking this question because you
- 22:17Speaker 1: are you were? You were? You referring to the senior choir.
- 22:23Speaker 1: I haven't talked to the senior This is mostly the
- 22:25Speaker 1: mass quids mostly every mask quod. Well, no, we want
- 22:28Speaker 1: to take a mad hole because well we got too
- 22:31Speaker 1: many voices in that mask quard. We need to hear,
- 22:33Speaker 1: we need to sound mass sieves that it was a
- 22:39Speaker 1: senior citizens chood. I would recommend mask from now on,
- 22:44Speaker 1: all right, senior citizens mass mask and head coverage covering.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Now when the senior citizens I won't mask and face shields.
- 23:08Speaker 1: We got to do that. I'm trying to protect them
- 23:11Speaker 1: at US. Okay, them from the COVID and US from
- 23:17Speaker 1: the sound. Go ahead, and oh yeah, uh, pastor. They
- 23:26Speaker 1: also asking if it's a possible that we get rid
- 23:29Speaker 1: of the US your board because they was mean before
- 23:32Speaker 1: U before we stopped coming to church and what since
- 23:35Speaker 1: were coming back. They just want to get rid of
- 23:36Speaker 1: us your board completely. No, well that's not gonna happen.
- 23:39Speaker 1: You have to have an USHA board, soone too take
- 23:42Speaker 1: care of the seating arrangements. So that's off the table.
- 23:46Speaker 1: And I know they mean, but you know it is
- 23:48Speaker 1: what it is. Well, can't you talk to him? Oh?
- 23:52Speaker 1: I tried, but they cussed me last time. All right,
- 23:55Speaker 1: is it possible that we can maybe send them to
- 23:57Speaker 1: the U Chick fil a rands because they are very polite.
- 24:01Speaker 1: They teach you politeness that chicken later. We we did
- 24:05Speaker 1: that last time and need it went on there, need
- 24:07Speaker 1: all the chicken sandwich all right. The fat baby weightlifting
- 24:13Speaker 1: contest is coming Saturday for you. For year old l

- 24:20Speaker 1: mothers want him disqualify. They say that he owns some
- 24:23Speaker 1: baby rods. Sou's it's yo, Kyle pass. But I know
- 24:33Speaker 1: we had to leave him long because the little fat

- 25:01Speaker 1: watched him at the last or brunch eat or a
- 25:04Speaker 1: dozen eggs by herself fried to a lord. But I
- 25:12Speaker 1: ain't pastor. Let's see her sister, Joyce Artiberry wants permission
- 25:17Speaker 1: since we're back in church, wants permission to sell her
- 25:21Speaker 1: soul food pizza after church. It has greens, fried chicken, chitlings,
- 25:26Speaker 1: and government cheese on it. I told her I would
- 25:29Speaker 1: get your approval on this. We that's not been a
- 25:32Speaker 1: big seller. We wish it up. That's not been a
- 25:36Speaker 1: big seller at all. Were very disappointed. Seals nobody wants
- 25:40Speaker 1: peacha with chitlings on it, exactly, call it greens and dope.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Just don't it don't work off chicken. She was doing
- 25:51Speaker 1: all right with the chicken. Put the damn or chidlings
- 25:55Speaker 1: on it, with the baked beans. That throwed it way off,
- 25:59Speaker 1: and it just took a whole turn. It wasn't even
- 26:01Speaker 1: pizza no more. All right, I rolled up and had
- 26:07Speaker 1: a soul food sandwich and just quit calling it pizza.
- 26:10Speaker 1: You might be on the so now call it a
- 26:13Speaker 1: soul rap. Roll your pizza as a soul rap rap man.
- 26:20Speaker 1: The Housewives of Galilee are casting their first season. They
- 26:26Speaker 1: want enough if you can approve sister calling Sister Sherley
- 26:29Speaker 1: being on this show, the Housewives of Galilee. I don't
- 26:34Speaker 1: think they're gonna be willing to share enough information to
- 26:38Speaker 1: make the shore exciting. You think they'll be holding back
- 26:44Speaker 1: of fighting. I don't, you know. You know, you gotta
- 26:47Speaker 1: look at what they do. You know, she ain't doing
- 26:49Speaker 1: nothing but going down to him, get her nails and
- 26:52Speaker 1: her hair done. And you know everybody gonna be real
- 26:56Speaker 1: excited watching Tasha get took down. There a cheerleading practice
- 26:59Speaker 1: with the white kids. That's just our lives. That's it.
- 27:03Speaker 1: You don't want so boris. I mean, you know it
- 27:08Speaker 1: just ain't. The sisters of Galilee ain't gonna work out there,
- 27:11Speaker 1: don't cussing, ain't no drinking anymore. They don't do enough
- 27:14Speaker 1: for the things. That's gonna keep it so interested. And
- 27:17Speaker 1: then plus you know all of blacks are want to
- 27:19Speaker 1: fight it for one of the new white kids make
- 27:22Speaker 1: the team and toss You don't all right? You know
- 27:29Speaker 1: that ain't fit to happen. Not tall not rolled it
- 27:34Speaker 1: fifth Walt style, We roll all right, listen not I
- 27:41Speaker 1: haven't met it, but I think you have. But he's
- 27:44Speaker 1: he's one of our deacons virtually. Deacon Nate Robinson wants
- 27:47Speaker 1: to do an expedition fight. He had to checks to
- 27:50Speaker 1: raise money. Yo, Kyle, how much can we make off
- 27:54Speaker 1: this fight? Deacon Ny has told me that we can
- 28:01Speaker 1: probably raise about sixteen hundred dollars sixteen hundred, sixteen hundred
- 28:09Speaker 1: after I think I think little Davis, the four year
- 28:13Speaker 1: old might be able to kick his head. They bought
- 28:19Speaker 1: the same height, so let's go on and sign him up.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Nate Robinson against a four year old weightlifting champ, lit
- 28:26Speaker 1: David And if Davis don't fight him, I got all
- 28:29Speaker 1: of my bet sixteen hundred Bud Davis can beat his ass.
- 28:35Speaker 1: You're gonna have to talk to sister Rachel nine. She
- 28:38Speaker 1: made some sanitizers, he says, she made sanitizer for the church.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Now she didn't mix Chloe Rocks and Jurgen's lotion together.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Now everybody's skin has turned his white. And you're gonna
- 28:47Speaker 1: have to talk to Hunt. Yeah, but they but they
- 28:50Speaker 1: is disaffected. Though that's a fact that that way we
- 28:56Speaker 1: know you to sanitize your head. If they white ass
- 28:59Speaker 1: you white here, we knew what sanitash you don't. I
- 29:02Speaker 1: ask your white hands. You can you can quit all
- 29:04Speaker 1: this clapping in here. All right, thank you guys. Coming
- 29:07Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, entertainment and national news.

- 30:24Speaker 1: Duchess welcome their daughter, Lilli Bit. Uh. They call her
- 30:28Speaker 1: Lily Diana Mountbatten Windsor she came into the world. Yeah,
- 30:33Speaker 1: Lilli Bit Lily like a little bit. But that's what
- 30:37Speaker 1: it sounds like, right, It really does sound named after
- 30:40Speaker 1: her grandmother, Lil Bit. And they also named her Diana
- 30:48Speaker 1: after Prince Harry's mom, Princess Diana, and she came into
- 30:52Speaker 1: the world on Friday. Well, did they see what color
- 30:55Speaker 1: she walked or they were worried about that? Just fine? Off,

- 31:59Speaker 1: what call the baby? The baby the same color the
- 32:02Speaker 1: other one archie, little baby Archie. We're just down creating
- 32:09Speaker 1: quite a clamor. And then you came with the racist
- 32:12Speaker 1: sums up, we do they all out just like America.
- 32:21Speaker 1: That's no different. Tell us like you really feel, dude,
- 32:26Speaker 1: you low down random right out of Buckingham Palace, you
- 32:31Speaker 1: low down sons of briches. Riches are pants. I decided
- 32:39Speaker 1: to say that talking say it over and over your
- 32:42Speaker 1: lazy sons of riches here. I just wanted to say
- 32:49Speaker 1: congratulations to her. I can't wait to see him in America,
- 32:52Speaker 1: Marcole again. I'm gonna have to fly over to America
- 32:55Speaker 1: to see them. I'm scared to leave the palace. Why why,
- 33:00Speaker 1: I know what's my black? Quietly being black and hard time.
- 33:07Speaker 1: I'm the Earl of Uttingham. Ladies and gentlemen, back you
- 33:12Speaker 1: having me. I want to have to make that nay,
- 33:15Speaker 1: I have to go. I have to get back and
- 33:16Speaker 1: be black, all right, come on back in Steve time
- 33:21Speaker 1: now for today's headlines, Ladies and gentlemen. Miss Anne Tripp, Okay,
- 33:26Speaker 1: good morning everybody. This is a trip with the news,
- 33:28Speaker 1: and here we go. President Biden leaves this week on
- 33:31Speaker 1: his inaugural foreign trip. He scheduled to make three stops.
- 33:33Speaker 1: One in Great Britain for a Group of Seven conference
- 33:37Speaker 1: and meeting with the Queen by the way, Belgium for
- 33:39Speaker 1: a NATO summit, and Switzerland for EU meetings, and one
- 33:42Speaker 1: with Russia's Vladimir Putin. No down, he's gonna talk about
- 33:45Speaker 1: some of that hacking that's been going on. A lot
- 33:46Speaker 1: of it, they say, almost all of it coming out
- 33:48Speaker 1: of Russia. West Virginia's Democratic Santa Joe Mansion has announced
- 33:52Speaker 1: that he will not support his party in voting for
- 33:55Speaker 1: the election overhaul bill Caldy for the People Act. It
- 33:58Speaker 1: would restrict partisan jerry manding, it would bring more transparency
- 34:02Speaker 1: to the campaign finance system, make a voting more excuse me,
- 34:08Speaker 1: more available for most people. But Mansion tells Fox News
- 34:11Speaker 1: that according to him, it's two partisans. I think it's
- 34:13Speaker 1: a wrong piece of legislation to bring our country together
- 34:15Speaker 1: in unite our country, and I'm not supporting that because
- 34:18Speaker 1: I think it would divide us further. The bill passed
- 34:20Speaker 1: the House on a basically party line vote. Mansion says
- 34:23Speaker 1: the Congress should concentrate instead on revamping the Landmark Voting
- 34:26Speaker 1: Rights Act, which he thinks could get some bipartisan support
- 34:29Speaker 1: and I guess his also. Despite that he's off Twitter
- 34:32Speaker 1: and suspended from Facebook for the next two years. Looks
- 34:35Speaker 1: like Donald Trump returned to the stump over the weekend.
- 34:38Speaker 1: While appearing at the North Carolina GOP's annual convention in Greenville,
- 34:42Speaker 1: he spat out some of the familiar themes he's always
- 34:44Speaker 1: done in the past. We know the radical left will
- 34:46Speaker 1: stop at nothing in their efforts to destroy the America
- 34:50Speaker 1: we love. But with the help of righteous American patriots
- 34:53Speaker 1: like all of you in this room, they will fail.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Our movement is far from over. In fact, it is
- 35:01Speaker 1: just getting started. Trump star called the last presidential election
- 35:05Speaker 1: a third world election, claiming that it was the crime
- 35:08Speaker 1: of the century. Last week, the former commander in chief
- 35:10Speaker 1: was reporters telling his friends that he would quote be
- 35:12Speaker 1: reinstated as president in August, even though that's not how
- 35:15Speaker 1: our government works. In Saint Paul, Minnesota, case of mistaken
- 35:18Speaker 1: identity turned a police dog on a totally innocent black man,
- 35:21Speaker 1: fifty seven year old Frank Baker, while responding to a
- 35:24Speaker 1: report of a possible fight, and a cop named Brett Palkovich,
- 35:27Speaker 1: who was white, repeatedly kicked mister Baker, breaking seven ribs
- 35:31Speaker 1: and collapsing his lungs. Palkovich has been since the six
- 35:34Speaker 1: years in prison for that over the top use of force,
- 35:37Speaker 1: and mister Baker, who was lucky to be alive, received
- 35:39Speaker 1: a two million dollars settlement from the city and Sad
- 35:42Speaker 1: News where you heard it just a few moments ago.
- 35:44Speaker 1: Clarence Williams the Third died at age eighty one. He
- 35:47Speaker 1: was in several movies, including he was the Undertaker from
- 35:49Speaker 1: Tales from the Hood. What How Back to the Steve
- 36:06Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You're listening show? All right, come on, Steve,
- 36:12Speaker 1: introduce your boy so we can look into his mind.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen. It's dark in here, and it's about
- 36:19Speaker 1: to get dark. Jay Anthony Brown, it's not too dark today. Really,
- 36:24Speaker 1: it's not too dark today. First of all, belated birthday
- 36:27Speaker 1: to my one and only son that I know of.
- 36:30Speaker 1: Happy birthday, Happy birthday from your father, your father. And
- 36:38Speaker 1: Friday and Saturday, Myrtle Beach, I'll be at the Astre Theater.
- 36:42Speaker 1: One show at nine o'clock, one show at eleven o'clock.
- 36:46Speaker 1: That's this weekend, Myrtle Beach. Here we go. Now, congratulations
- 36:50Speaker 1: to Harry and your lovely wife are having a baby. Now,
- 36:53Speaker 1: I don't know, are people still reading nursery rhymes to kids?
- 36:56Speaker 1: Do you think? I don't know? I don't know. I
- 36:58Speaker 1: don't I think yeah. I asked a couple of people.
- 37:01Speaker 1: They said they were so. But what happened with the
- 37:04Speaker 1: nursery rhymes? A lot of a lot of people don't
- 37:06Speaker 1: know how these nursery rhyme characters turned out. I do,
- 37:10Speaker 1: I really, I know what happened to a lot of
- 37:14Speaker 1: the seven, a lot of them. I know Steve a
- 37:18Speaker 1: lot of them. First of all, like the seven Little People,
- 37:20Speaker 1: you can't say that word anymore, so the seven little people,
- 37:24Speaker 1: you can say dwarfs. Okay, with seven dwarves, five of
- 37:27Speaker 1: them open up restaurant chain called five guys. The other
- 37:31Speaker 1: two are being in Jerry. People don't know that. People
- 37:34Speaker 1: have known. The other one is yeah, yeah, five those
- 37:40Speaker 1: of you can't den backs. And when you came to
- 37:42Speaker 1: see him, all right, Peter Peter pumpkin either. First of all,
- 37:46Speaker 1: we know that pumpkin pie is a seasonal treat. So
- 37:50Speaker 1: he got a job making Paddy pies. He's doing very well.
- 37:54Speaker 1: He's doing very well. He got a job. Yeah, yeah,
- 37:59Speaker 1: he been campat about the old lady who lived in
- 38:02Speaker 1: a shoe, had so many kids, she didn't know what
- 38:05Speaker 1: to do. Well, Rebox kicked in, Puma kicked in, and
- 38:10Speaker 1: Nike kicked in, and she was able to file for
- 38:13Speaker 1: Section eight. Now she in a dollar seventy six for Rench.
- 38:19Speaker 1: She's she's doing all right. All right, the three pigs.
- 38:23Speaker 1: The three pigs, I don't know, you know what happened
- 38:26Speaker 1: to them. I'm tell you what happened to him. Well,
- 38:28Speaker 1: the wolf got arrested and the other two filed for PPP.
- 38:33Speaker 1: And they rebuild. They're doing all right, So they rebuild
- 38:37Speaker 1: their place. Now Pinocchio ary strange? What people was Pinocchio
- 38:43Speaker 1: the liar? Well, when he lied his nose wasn't the
- 38:46Speaker 1: only thing to brow. So he's doing Parno right now.
- 38:51Speaker 1: He's doing a Pernold movie is called The movie is
- 38:59Speaker 1: called Not on Wood. I mean, you gotta seek. I
- 39:04Speaker 1: don't know if I have time enough to Jack and Jill,
- 39:07Speaker 1: but I come back next time and Jay by Jack
- 39:09Speaker 1: and Jill's there you go. That's what I got, alright,
- 39:13Speaker 1: I love are you coming up? Thank you? Jay coming
- 39:19Speaker 1: up with thirty four minutes after the hour? Uh did
- 39:22Speaker 1: forty five have his pants on backwards? We'll talk about
- 39:24Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening to the Steve Morning Show.
- 39:30Speaker 1: So here's a question. I don't know if you guys
- 39:32Speaker 1: saw this, but did forty five, number forty five former
- 39:35Speaker 1: President Trump? Did he put his pants on backwards? What's
- 39:40Speaker 1: going on with him? Girl. Well, he's going around the
- 39:43Speaker 1: country talking about the big lie. Get your pants on
- 39:47Speaker 1: right this, y'all? Lead? Yeah, yeah, what pants on? Right?
- 39:53Speaker 1: Put them on there? Right? Jay? There were no there
- 39:56Speaker 1: were There was no zipper, no pockets, all right, quest
- 40:00Speaker 1: anybody didn't know zippers? I know zippers. I used to
- 40:03Speaker 1: be a tailor, and I did not see a zipper
- 40:05Speaker 1: in the pants. I don't know. Maybe I don't know
- 40:08Speaker 1: why he looked no, send me to picture. Yeah, okay, this,
- 40:19Speaker 1: Oh god, that's the question. Did he have his pants
- 40:24Speaker 1: on backwards? Because on Saturday night, Trump was in North Carolina.
- 40:28Speaker 1: He addressed some Republicans and his supporters. Of course, he
- 40:31Speaker 1: gave the same old speech, you know, bashing President Biden,
- 40:34Speaker 1: the radical left, and yes he's still mad about being
- 40:38Speaker 1: a loser. All right, so yeah. In the twenty twenty
- 40:43Speaker 1: presidential election, however, when Trump moved away from the podium
- 40:47Speaker 1: after his speech, his pants were so wrinkled that it
- 40:52Speaker 1: appeared that the front of his pants didn't have a zipper. Yeah,
- 40:56Speaker 1: that's a scene going up. That's no, that's not a zimple.
- 41:05Speaker 1: Sent me the picture, said, let me see. Yeah, I
- 41:08Speaker 1: want to hear what you have to say. About this, Steve,
- 41:10Speaker 1: this is crazy. That's a scene that ain't No, it's
- 41:17Speaker 1: not a fashion statement. Okay, let me ask all of
- 41:22Speaker 1: y'all a question. When your leader has his pants on backwards,
- 41:27Speaker 1: does that help or hurt the movement? I mean I'm
- 41:30Speaker 1: just asking. No, he could do anything, right, that's right. Yeah,
- 41:35Speaker 1: oh anything that's shame. You're not gonna leave me and
- 41:40Speaker 1: you can't get dripped and you can't. But just show
- 41:45Speaker 1: he's a back he's a backwards asked. It just shows Yeah, yeah, America,
- 41:54Speaker 1: great again if you got something's really wrong because your
- 41:59Speaker 1: pants to equal that hard right there, that's what you
- 42:04Speaker 1: would have had to have. Just come out the toilet
- 42:06Speaker 1: standing on little damn. That's what they say. They walled backwards.
- 42:11Speaker 1: That's where his butter is supposed to be right there.
- 42:16Speaker 1: So social media, huh, we were gonna say, no, it's
- 42:21Speaker 1: gonna say. Social media released a bunch of memes. You know,
- 42:25Speaker 1: they started trending. They're calling Trump criss Cross. Remember criss Cross.
- 42:28Speaker 1: Back in the day, they used to wear all their
- 42:30Speaker 1: clothes backwards, and but they did it on purpose though,
- 42:33Speaker 1: and it was a fashion statement when criss Cross did it,
- 42:36Speaker 1: and they were kids yeah, and they were little kids. Yeah,
- 42:41Speaker 1: how do you put your telling you? How do you
- 42:44Speaker 1: tell your boss he's got his pants on bad? Yes? So, Steve,
- 42:48Speaker 1: I have to ask you, what are some circumstances that
- 42:51Speaker 1: you would put your pants on backwards? I mean, seriously,
- 42:55Speaker 1: if I was at a woman's house, I ain't handled
- 42:57Speaker 1: bliss and being over there her husband came home, I
- 42:59Speaker 1: was trying to get out the window, I'd had to
- 43:02Speaker 1: put him on backwards. Uh Okay. If if I want
- 43:10Speaker 1: to try to get out of the dodging the draft,
- 43:12Speaker 1: I'd go down there with my pants on backwards. Yeah. Well,
- 43:23Speaker 1: sometimes when you go to the restroom, you have to
- 43:25Speaker 1: take your pants completely off. Different. The only other way
- 43:29Speaker 1: is like, if you old like him, you know, he
- 43:31Speaker 1: probably blocks itself a lot, and he just blotted himself
- 43:35Speaker 1: and decided to just put him on backwards because that
- 43:38Speaker 1: was the only place where it wasn't blotted. Oh it's
- 43:43Speaker 1: getting it's getting worse. I'm just saying, you know, for him,
- 43:46Speaker 1: you know, being as old as he is, you know,
- 43:48Speaker 1: maybe they're the pen. Maybe had the pen could have
- 43:52Speaker 1: had leaking, and then you got you got you gotta
- 43:54Speaker 1: turn the pants had flip it around backwards man, and
- 43:59Speaker 1: why you wear it all? You know, maybe I haven't
- 44:06Speaker 1: tried it, but maybe it's more comfortable when you drive it. Oh, okay,
- 44:11Speaker 1: can you'd be sitting on the zipper all right? Coming
- 44:14Speaker 1: up next the nephew with today's sitting on you see
- 44:18Speaker 1: what I'm saying. You're listening to show coming up at
- 44:26Speaker 1: the top of the hour, right about four minutes after.
- 44:28Speaker 1: It's my strawberry letter for today, the subject get a
- 44:31Speaker 1: load of this, choosing between two toothless men. No explanation needed.
- 44:43Speaker 1: We'll get into that a little later, but right now
- 44:46Speaker 1: the nephew is here with today's prank phone call. What
- 44:48Speaker 1: you got for us? Nep comb and brush? Comb and brush? Yeah?
- 44:59Speaker 1: Come on, kay, Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach mister. Yeah, listen, hey, listen.
- 45:05Speaker 1: My name La Sean. Uh. Did you have an uncle
- 45:09Speaker 1: had passed away named? Yeah? All right here your uncle? Right? Yeah,
- 45:15Speaker 1: that's my uncle. We were at him about three and
- 45:17Speaker 1: a half months ago. Right. What reason why I was
- 45:20Speaker 1: calling was I'm the person that actually cut your uncle
- 45:24Speaker 1: hal when he passed away. Okay, so the reason why
- 45:28Speaker 1: I was calling is, uh, the situation is when I
- 45:32Speaker 1: cut his hair and I know you don't know the
- 45:35Speaker 1: history about me, but my daddy and my granddaddy was
- 45:38Speaker 1: was bab us. We all bab us. Okay, get you
- 45:41Speaker 1: come on, bro, get down because the bob because you
- 45:43Speaker 1: try my my uncle man and I'm trying to see
- 45:45Speaker 1: what's going on forever, okay, And I'm sorry to call
- 45:47Speaker 1: you like this is but what I'm telling you is
- 45:49Speaker 1: that my granddad and my daddy they dad passed down
- 45:52Speaker 1: a brush and a cone to me. Okay, that is
- 45:56Speaker 1: like a tenimental value. Okay. For the for the last
- 46:01Speaker 1: two to three months, I ain't been able to find
- 46:04Speaker 1: the comb and the brush that I used what I
- 46:08Speaker 1: had cut here now okay, So okay, And what I
- 46:12Speaker 1: was trying to call and tell you was it that
- 46:14Speaker 1: I can't find it. And I'm almost certain what I'm
- 46:18Speaker 1: trying to tell you what I'm gonna kid, how many
- 46:20Speaker 1: kids tool? So so what can I do to help
- 46:22Speaker 1: you find? Comen? Brother father? That's what I'm saying. When
- 46:25Speaker 1: I did miss have and edged it up at the
- 46:28Speaker 1: funeral home, that's the last time I remember having it, dude,
- 46:32Speaker 1: three months right right, it is about three months ago.
- 46:35Speaker 1: What I'm trying to say is I left the comban brush,
- 46:38Speaker 1: and you know what, went to the funeral home and
- 46:41Speaker 1: did his hair, Okay, And I talked to the funeral
- 46:44Speaker 1: home and they told me that, you know, if I'm
- 46:46Speaker 1: trying to find the comba bro, I gotta get permission.
- 46:49Speaker 1: What cold is the coma brush? What's the color of
- 46:52Speaker 1: the comba black? That both of them black, the comban
- 46:55Speaker 1: black and hard. You got all kind of combs that
- 46:57Speaker 1: black and gold man. No, no, See what I'm saying
- 47:01Speaker 1: is the coman brush is black, and I know I
- 47:04Speaker 1: lost it, but I'm almost certain about where it is, Okay.
- 47:08Speaker 1: So if you're sayin about where it is, why you
- 47:10Speaker 1: call it? That's the reason why I'm calling you, because
- 47:13Speaker 1: I'm almost certainly out leptic with him. You're listening with
- 47:17Speaker 1: my ben. So I called funeral. They told me I
- 47:21Speaker 1: need to call you in order to get permission to
- 47:24Speaker 1: get it. Oh cause you call funeral get permission from
- 47:27Speaker 1: me that you can go get the coman brush from
- 47:30Speaker 1: HFT the funeral When you can go down, then say God, no, no, no,
- 47:35Speaker 1: I see the comban brush ain't with the funeral. The
- 47:39Speaker 1: comban brush is in there with your uncle. The comb
- 47:44Speaker 1: in brush is in the can you don't know about
- 47:49Speaker 1: I mean, I have a stage. You got to say
- 47:51Speaker 1: that again. What what I'm trying to say to you
- 47:53Speaker 1: is that the combe in brush is in I'm trying
- 47:56Speaker 1: to say to just say what I'm saying it Man,
- 47:59Speaker 1: the car brushes in the casket with your uncle. Since
- 48:03Speaker 1: then lad is six feet let's see. See. What I'm
- 48:07Speaker 1: trying to say is that the combing brother is sentimental
- 48:10Speaker 1: value to me, bro it couldn't have been too value.
- 48:13Speaker 1: But if you lost it, what now what it was
- 48:16Speaker 1: got value? You know my work? So I just really
- 48:19Speaker 1: got caught up in my work. If you talk about
- 48:22Speaker 1: Teller left it with my uncle that did three months ago? Man,
- 48:26Speaker 1: what color is you talking about? On brod All. I'm
- 48:28Speaker 1: trying to do what you would see if if you
- 48:30Speaker 1: don't mind approven for them to brain the body up
- 48:34Speaker 1: so I can get the comb and brush. You know
- 48:39Speaker 1: what's see the body for comba. But but see, but
- 48:42Speaker 1: what I'm trying to explain it this sentimental value. I'm
- 48:45Speaker 1: trying to get you out of the brain the body
- 48:46Speaker 1: up so I can get my comb and brush out. Ever,
- 48:48Speaker 1: because like I say, my dad and my granddadd was
- 48:51Speaker 1: boomed this whole thing is sentimentally. You talking about my
- 48:54Speaker 1: dead uncle man, and you're talking about bringing him up
- 48:57Speaker 1: out of the ground for comb Man, I just got
- 49:00Speaker 1: to start crying around here, and and I understand what
- 49:03Speaker 1: y'all going through as as a family and stuff. She
- 49:07Speaker 1: Now I'm trying to get my comban, and how are
- 49:09Speaker 1: you trying to go about doing this all? Throw it
- 49:11Speaker 1: off on boy, because ain't nobody digging up nobody to
- 49:14Speaker 1: bring back? No, no brush man. Then you got me
- 49:16Speaker 1: tissed off now, mane because you're calling me talking stupid
- 49:19Speaker 1: Mane you talk, I put up my mom hunter Man,
- 49:21Speaker 1: that's man, that's start. Give me a look, man, I
- 49:23Speaker 1: ain't trying to start. No, you're talking like coman brush Man.
- 49:26Speaker 1: I don't right, but I understand all that. But this
- 49:29Speaker 1: is a sentimental value man in the middle of me. Man,
- 49:32Speaker 1: just something that my people listen sentimental to me. Okay,
- 49:35Speaker 1: go to my favorite uncle man. Okay, you talk about
- 49:38Speaker 1: footing up this body. Man, I got fall. But hey, man,
- 49:42Speaker 1: I'm I don't want to give because Michael Man that
- 49:44Speaker 1: long man. You shouldn't know how you got for you Mane.
- 49:47Speaker 1: If we don't get out like this here, Man, I
- 49:49Speaker 1: ain't ever seeing and argue with you. Look, I got
- 49:52Speaker 1: some tea, I got some people. I mean when you staying,
- 49:56Speaker 1: let me say this. I got some people that's here
- 49:58Speaker 1: with me right now. You know some of my friends.
- 50:01Speaker 1: And we got some shovels. So I can actually go
- 50:04Speaker 1: over and and go on and get the caller. Nah,
- 50:07Speaker 1: And in the morning, ain't nobody gonna even know you
- 50:09Speaker 1: ain't gona gonna get now with the hard boy, say

- 54:11Speaker 1: hold on tight, We got it for you here. It
- 54:13Speaker 1: is the Strawberry Letter. Thinking a few subjects, choosing between
- 54:18Speaker 1: two two toothless men. Dear Steven Shirley. I'm a forty
- 54:24Speaker 1: eight year old single, educated and professional woman that has
- 54:28Speaker 1: never been married. I have dated three guys in the
- 54:31Speaker 1: last eight years and decided to give it a rest
- 54:34Speaker 1: until recently when I met a very nice man that
- 54:38Speaker 1: works with my aunt. We talked a few weeks over
- 54:40Speaker 1: the phone before we met. Then he called me one
- 54:43Speaker 1: day and said he'd been in a bad car accident
- 54:46Speaker 1: and his face hit his steering wheel, so he had
- 54:49Speaker 1: to have emergency oral surgery and all he could think
- 54:52Speaker 1: about was mean. I rushed over to see him, and
- 54:55Speaker 1: when I got there, he greeted me with a big,
- 54:58Speaker 1: toothless grin. His two top front teeth and three teeth
- 55:04Speaker 1: on the bottom were missing. He is already not that handsome,
- 55:08Speaker 1: but I was willing to overlook that because we had
- 55:11Speaker 1: a great vibe and a lot in common. We went
- 55:14Speaker 1: out a few more times and I was so embarrassed
- 55:17Speaker 1: by him. Then he said it would be close to
- 55:20Speaker 1: a year before he could get two thin plants because
- 55:23Speaker 1: there was a glitch with his insurance. I was honest
- 55:26Speaker 1: with him and said, it's a big turn off to
- 55:29Speaker 1: kiss a man without teeth. I broke it off with him,
- 55:32Speaker 1: and he still calls to say he misses me. I
- 55:35Speaker 1: miss him too, but he still does not have his
- 55:37Speaker 1: new teeth. So I met another great guy, and he
- 55:42Speaker 1: is slightly older than me. On our first date, he
- 55:46Speaker 1: took his false teeth or partials out of his mouth
- 55:50Speaker 1: and put him in a napkin. He says it rubs
- 55:54Speaker 1: his gums, so he only puts it on special occasions,
- 55:57Speaker 1: puts them in on special occasions. I believe that I
- 56:00Speaker 1: found yet another man without teeth. The problem is I
- 56:04Speaker 1: really like him too. It seems like God wants me
- 56:08Speaker 1: to be with a toothless man. So should I choose
- 56:11Speaker 1: a guy that might get new teeth one day or
- 56:14Speaker 1: keep dating a man that takes his teeth out whenever
- 56:17Speaker 1: he wants? Please help? Okay, first of all, why you
- 56:21Speaker 1: bring God into this? God wants me to be with
- 56:24Speaker 1: a toothless man. You are forty eight years old, you're single,
- 56:28Speaker 1: educated and professional. Nowhere in that description does it say
- 56:33Speaker 1: you are desperate, and that's what you would have to be.
- 56:38Speaker 1: You would have to be desperate to continue dating these
- 56:40Speaker 1: two guys. This would be what we call settling. Okay,
- 56:45Speaker 1: and you don't have to settle. You do not have
- 56:47Speaker 1: to do that. Neither of these guys should even be
- 56:51Speaker 1: trying to date right now until they get their grills fixed.
- 56:54Speaker 1: If his teeth are rubbing against his gums, he probably
- 56:57Speaker 1: needs to go back and get them shaved down or something.
- 57:01Speaker 1: Trust me, they would not date you if you didn't
- 57:04Speaker 1: have teeth in your mouth. Okay, if some of your
- 57:07Speaker 1: teeth were missing, they wouldn't even look at you. Come on,
- 57:10Speaker 1: these snaggletooth guys are not your only hope and they're
- 57:14Speaker 1: not the last man on earth. So just keep doing you.
- 57:18Speaker 1: And that just means please do not settle. You can
- 57:21Speaker 1: do better and expand your horizons a little bit. Go
- 57:24Speaker 1: on dating sites. Ask your friends. I know it's been
- 57:26Speaker 1: a while, but you gotta get more into it. Ask
- 57:29Speaker 1: your friends to hook you up, friends of friends to
- 57:32Speaker 1: hook you up. Let people know you're interested and you're
- 57:35Speaker 1: single and ready to mingle, or it's Tommy would say,
- 57:38Speaker 1: ready to love? Okay, Steve, Yeah, thanks, Shelly, great answer.
- 57:44Speaker 1: Mine ain't got a damn thing to do with nothing,
- 57:47Speaker 1: Sherley said, I've benna tell you what truth is in
- 57:49Speaker 1: this letter right here? Oh yeah, all these feelings in
- 57:52Speaker 1: all this here, Let's just read this damned letter the
- 57:56Speaker 1: way it's supposed to be read and diagnosed. Shelley's actually
- 58:00Speaker 1: trying to help you. I ain't. Yes, let's be clear,
- 58:05Speaker 1: No I'm not. I've been to tell some people about
- 58:10Speaker 1: their selves. You forty eight old years old, single educated
- 58:14Speaker 1: professional woman? Nae so educated? Though na so much? You
- 58:22Speaker 1: might be book smart, but who you falling for? The
- 58:26Speaker 1: okay doke? I have dated three guys in the last
- 58:32Speaker 1: eight years and decided to give it a rest, and
- 58:35Speaker 1: to recently when I met a very nice man listen
- 58:39Speaker 1: to this, that works with my aunt right there. Where
- 58:46Speaker 1: have you ever met anybody that was attractive that was
- 58:51Speaker 1: friends with your damn aunt? My aunt's friends as ugly
- 58:56Speaker 1: asked people, and my damn at us ain't got a
- 59:01Speaker 1: cute friend. Hell, she ain't cute now it's no way
- 59:07Speaker 1: you can possibly expect to meet an attractive man that
- 59:11Speaker 1: worked with your damn on bag right there. Nobody has
- 59:18Speaker 1: ever met an attractive person through the damn on. We
- 59:24Speaker 1: talked a few times over the phone before we met,
- 59:27Speaker 1: you know why, because he already and new I can't
- 59:32Speaker 1: let you see me live. We gonna keep this over
- 59:37Speaker 1: the phone till I get you hooked. Then he called
- 59:40Speaker 1: me one day and said he'd been in the bad
- 59:43Speaker 1: Cocks and did and his face hit the standwheel, so
- 59:46Speaker 1: he didn't have emergency all surgery, and all he could
- 59:49Speaker 1: think about was me. I rushed over to see him.
- 59:52Speaker 1: What why he just had jet head a day? I'm accident?
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Oh how convenient this is? This raggedy mouth, asked man
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: been looking like this for years. That's why he kept
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: you on that phone for two weeks. Y'all ain't mentioned
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: the damn accident, all right? I didn't tell you nothing
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: about his mouth feither I got more when I come back.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: All right. We'll have part two of Steve's response coming
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: up at twenty three minutes after the hour, subject of
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: today's Strawberry letter, choosing between two toothless men. We'll get
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening to Steve
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve, Let's recap
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. The subject choosing between two toothless men.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: Forty eight year old lady single say she educated in profession,
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: might be educated book wise, but very easily can be. Ok, Dope,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: here comes the oki. Dope met a very nice man
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: that worked for my unt once again. Who has you
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: your ever bought over to your damn house that was attractive?
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Ever ever in the history of our families, name your
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: aunt that has dated, married, or been friends with an
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: attractive man? Uncle, herman, uncle clans, uncle, heath, throw unclesto.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: I'm just going down the names on how old is
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: I'm just going down the names. It is him attractive? No,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: all right. We talked a few weeks over the phone
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: before we met. Got to get you over the phone.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: Can't just let you eat me right off. Then he
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: called me one day and said he'd been in a
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: bad coccidens see this. He'd have told this before, he'd
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: have set this up before, because I you liking me
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: over this phone. Now we fit to meet. Hey, I
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: just been in a bad co accident. His face hit
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: the staring wheel where his air bag at most cause
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: over the last twenty years that had air bags where
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: his air bags at. How his mouth hidden staring will
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: tear out his whole damn mouth. Lady laid in. He
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: had to have emergency or surgery, and all he could
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: think about was me. I rushed over to see him,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: or when I got there, he greeted me with a big,
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: toothless grin. You ain't see no blood on the digit.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: He didn't have gall stuck up in that diddy, Naw,
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: just a toothless grin smiling. Did his gums look like
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: they had just been injured, Naw, they were smooth and
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: wet because they've been there for a while. His two
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: front teeth and three of his bottom teeth was missing.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: And he is already not that handsome good lordom body.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: Now we got an ugly ass man with a ragged
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: ass mouth. I've eat damn you. Your educated ass is
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: falling for the oak door. And you know what makes
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: him money attractive because it ain't got no damn teeth
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: talking about a damn cocks. And then his mouth has
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: been like that for a while. Y'all ain't saying nothing
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: to you. She probably don't even know you're talking to
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: the man. She'd have told you. And he's already not
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: that handsome. Now he ugly. Now he ain't got a
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: nice smile. He ugly. Then when he talked, it's worse
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: when he smiled his word. When he eats, just spitting
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: food all over the table. It's hard to keep food
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: in your mouth. You ain't got teeth. I gotta talked
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: to people ain't got teeth before I get it. I'll
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: walk away from him because you're not gonna be spitting
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: on me. The whole dog on town. He keep food
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: and marsh you in your mouth, along with your lips.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: When you just got your lips, A lot of stuff
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: get out. Then you got to say words like tonight.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: How you say tonight without no damn teeth? Tonight? Now
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: here comes some more damn spit. I was willing to
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: overlook that because we had a great vibe and a
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: lot in common that was in conversation. Girl. We went
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: out a few more times, and I was so embarrassed
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: by him. Then he said that he go to other part.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: It'd be close to a year before he could get
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: his tooth and playing because there was a glitch in
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: his insuing, a glitch in the issuing a year, he
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: end up sitting on the ragged ass mouth for a year.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: I sail my car, I sail my house, I sail
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: my damn clothes. I'm gonna get me some damn teeth.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: What I'm not fitting to do is be walking around.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: And you already said the man ugly, and now he
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: got a ragged ass mouth, and he went in to
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: wait a year. Man, I'm taking out a loan. I'm
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: going down the ever smile or or ditcher bright or
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: smile brighter, happy teeth, a doctor heavenly smile. Now I'm
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: going to corrective denches. I'm going down to the VA office.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: Somebody gonna give me some damn teeth. I'm gonna go
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: down there to the morgue. I'm gonna go somewhere somebody
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: got some teeth. Day and not for no year, not
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: for no year. I can't be no year without no
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: damn play. I was honest with him, and then I
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: told him that it's it's a turn off to kiss
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: a man without teeth. No hell no, because it's all
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: up in there and now your tongue just loose it's
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: just loose. You have to roof, you have to bottom.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: You a tongue. Yea, it's just just like sticking your
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: tongue in a log. That ain't a kiss. You're kissing
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: a log, just a big hollow ass long Yeah. Now
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: I broke it off with him, and he still calls
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: to say he misses me. I miss him too, but
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: he still don't have his teeth. So I met another
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: guy and he's slightly older than me. Oh lord, you
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: already for the slightly older me old as head. On
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: our first date, he took his false teeth or partials
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: out of his mouth, put it in napkin. He said,
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: he rubbed his guns, and he only puts it in
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: on special occasion. So now right here, you ain't a
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: special occasion. Now you got another poeass man that bought
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: the wrong damn teeth. He might get some new teeth
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: in a year and then he can't just take your teeth. Man,
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: get out of here, all right, thank you, we get it.

- 1:06:58Speaker 1: Show right after this. You're listening, all right, guys. The
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: big fight was last night between Floyd Mayweather, who's forty four.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: I gotta put that in there, Steve, and then youngster
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: Logan Paul, who's twenty six. Wow. I thought it would
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: go a little different maybe maybe, Well, no, no, the
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: dude is much bigger than Floyd. See, when you get
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: into the weight classes like that, your power was different
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: from that. And that big dude was was tying him
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: up and moving him around, putting that weight on him.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: That's why you fight weight classes. Floyda ain't gonna be
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: knocked this dude. How Floyd was never a really big
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: knockout punch in no way, you know. But all that
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: trash talks. But yeah, but see that's for selling tickets,
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: Florida genius. Now, Floyd thanked everybody. He was real nice
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: at the press. Come you thanked everybody, But that fight, man,
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: it's an exhibition. Eight rounds, you know, and this ain't
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: for no title, you know, you don't get no scores,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: you know, just an exhibition. It's really just a money
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: making thing. And I ain't mad at Floyd on logan
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: Paul because you know, to talk about the money made.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: I see that fight right, there wasn't really no moments
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: in it, and you know, had one little clip in
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: calling with left hooking. There really wasn't nothing to write
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: home about. You know, they called it legalized robbery because
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: they said fans shelled out hundreds of millions of dollars. Well,
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: two things the same Sunday night last Well, you got
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: this huge social media star and then you got the
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: greatest box of pound for pounds in the history of fighting.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: So now you got it. And then that the snatching,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: the hat and the trash talking. They sold it, man,
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: because they get a piece of that box office. And
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: you know, man, they made some money. There's a lot
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: of conflict about how much was made, but whatever was made,
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: there's nobody living that I won't fight for a hunted meal.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: I don't give a damn Tysian Fury Wilder when you
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: fight Josh Floyd, come right up in there with Floyd. Man.
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: The pre fight be held this ste think he can
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: do all that. Not really, but if I get a
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: percentage of the gate. But folks were mad too that
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: if the fight wasn't working at Oh, they're gonna have
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: to patient people something now, Well, show time getting cussed out.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: You know it was all right now the Ocho Sinko fight.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: Ocho don't need to do that no more because he's
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: a football player. He fought a real fighter and got
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: his ass knocked down. But Ocho got big hard man.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: Ocho got up. But these cats need to start to him.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Nate Robert said, you ain't never fought before. Don't fight
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: nobody that had didn't fault because when you get hit
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: in the face, you ain't gonna understand. You need a trainer.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: To come on, Trey, you need another something trapping pole.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: All right, we gotta go. We'll have more of the
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up right after this. You're
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: listening to the Steven Show. So school is about to end.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: We all know that, all of us who have kids
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: or kids in school or whatever and all. Yeah, oh,
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: some people are out. Yeah, so school is end. School
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: is about to end for a lot more and all
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: you want to do is party all summer. Okay, but
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: this year parents are telling kids, no partying, get a job.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: All right, you've been partying all year? Yeah, they are
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: so so, guys. I wanted to ask you what was
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: your first summer job? Reminisce about you know, tell us
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: about your first summer job. I was outside, I was
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: cutting yards all through the neighborhood. Were gas camp, two
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: buddies and were cutting yard. Was making money? Were you? Yeah?
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: Started probably ten eleven. Oh wow, you were really young
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: and that was your first job in business? Sounds like
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: first job. And we were split the monthy three different ways.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: You know what. They used to actually have an edger before.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: You know, that used to be a piece of equipment.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: I don't take the weedy to turn the sideways and
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: that's how the head. But I was cutting my boy
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: with his I'm like, he over there sweeping. He really
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: need splitting this wrong way. We're splitting this. He got
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: too much. But you couldn't go back whatever you agreed about.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: That's what I'm doing that. Yeah, all right, Jack, your
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: first job summer, Oh my very first real good job
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: was that? What? I don't know they even have this restaurant.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: It was called the Pondo Rosa Steakhouse, West Colombia. It
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: was in West Colombia. I lived in Columbia, which meant
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: you had to catch the bus to go across the bridge.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: The last bus would leave at ten o'clock. I got
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: out for ten thirty. And you had to dress like
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: a cowboy, like a real cow boy, all about the roof. Hey, hey,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: you had to wear the cowboy shirt with the scarf
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: around the neck, but the cowboy had you didn't have
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: to wear boots. But if you had boots, hit, but
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: you had to wear jeans. Now that meant I had
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: to walk across the bridge dressed like a cowboy to
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: catch the last bus, to catch the last bus. When
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: I tell you, I heard the inwards so much what
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: I say. Not only did they say it, sometimes they
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: wouldn't even go all the way to the end of
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: the bridge. They turned around and come back and call
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: me the inward, the inward cowboy. What I remember mostly traumatizing.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: I'm sure, Jake, Jake, you and your little cowboy, I
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: have a little dumb ass. I was too dumb. I
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: was too dumb to change clothes. I kept on rod.
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: All right, Steve, you've had so many jobs. Well I
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: ain't very top that one. Right there was your first
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: summer job, well, I mean my first job, my very
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: first job was I created myself. I was an entrepreneur.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: I bought a red flywagon with the gates on it,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: with the red with the red sides on it. And
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: I didn't allow my friends. Yeah you know, wasn't no
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: riding in my wagon pulling up down the street. Know
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: that what you couldn't do that this will work wagon.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: I woke up in the morning and left my house
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: about nine, probably eight nine the office at eight. I
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: left left that house about eight nine thirty, dragged my
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: wagon looking for pop bottles and I put a pop
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: bottle in my wagon because you could turn in pop
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: bottles for two cents. And my goal was to find
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: fifty pop bottles before I went home for lunch, and
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: that was a dollar. And then when I got through,
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: I get back out there with my wagon. I play
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: a little bit, but I dragged my wagon and I
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: try to make another dollar after lunch. And then that
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: was my day. I make two dollars a day, and
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: I was hustling work wagon. All right, we'll have more
